- 0:02Speaker 1: And in twenty twenty five, there is nothing spookkier than
- 0:07Speaker 1: probably the dating you may have to try to find
- 0:12Speaker 1: someone to go on a date with in twenty twenty five.
- 0:14Speaker 1: What a nightmare. That's rough. Truly, the worst experiences I've
- 0:22Speaker 1: heard of dating has been in twenty twenty five.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Yeah, one hundred percent. I think the advent of AI
- 0:29Speaker 2: is aiding in that, because people can catfish you a
- 0:34Speaker 2: lot easier on the dating apps. I had my sister.
- 0:38Speaker 2: She went on a date with a man who she
- 0:41Speaker 2: thought looked like he could be one of those burly
- 0:45Speaker 2: lumberjacks from the hometown in a Hallmark Channel Christmas movie.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Oh it's like a Minnesotan.
- 0:52Speaker 2: A Minnesotan. And so she was like, Okay, I'll give
- 0:55Speaker 2: this guy a shot. She meets him at the bar,
- 0:58Speaker 2: because you have to be safe these days, that's right.
- 1:01Speaker 2: He can't be just going to men's houses. So she's
- 1:04Speaker 2: sitting at the bar and in walks in. Absolutely not
- 1:09Speaker 2: the man that was in those photos. He was shorter
- 1:13Speaker 2: than he claimed, nothing wrong with him, he well, don't
- 1:16Speaker 2: lie about it, don't lie about it.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Sorry.
- 1:22Speaker 2: He had a lot more wrinkles and a lot less
- 1:27Speaker 2: hair than the photos portrayed, and then the big mistake
- 1:33Speaker 2: was not getting on a phone call first, because then
- 1:36Speaker 2: as soon as he opened his mouth high it's nice
- 1:40Speaker 2: to me, and it was one of those yang yeah voices,
- 1:45Speaker 2: and my sister was like, oh no, but she's also
- 1:48Speaker 2: a people pleaser, so she stuck it out through the
- 1:50Speaker 2: whole entire date. But then, in true spooky fashion, she goes.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Have you ever had some kind of nightmare dating situation
- 2:02Speaker 1: like that? I've only had one, and I've shared this
- 2:04Speaker 1: story before on here.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Oh you because you had the girl You guys were
- 2:08Speaker 2: walking through the mall, she spotted Victoria's secret, turned to
- 2:11Speaker 2: you and said that she and her dad pick out
- 2:13Speaker 2: her underwey together.
- 2:14Speaker 1: That is something I will never That's the word very haunting, you.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Know I had.
- 2:21Speaker 1: It's hard to make your way to the food court
- 2:24Speaker 1: after that, you know, because you're already getting ready to hurl,
- 2:27Speaker 1: so rough go. That was all of it. Every date
- 2:31Speaker 1: I've been on has been, you know, fine. It's either
- 2:33Speaker 1: been great or it's been just fine. Yeah, nothing terrible.
- 2:36Speaker 1: That is by far something I will never forget. How
- 2:39Speaker 1: sad is that we The worst thing is what I
- 2:41Speaker 1: remember instead of all the perfectly.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Oh yeah, because that was so horrifying. We want to
- 2:46Speaker 2: know your scary dating story seven oh one two, eight
- 2:49Speaker 2: oh one, nine eighty seven call us text us. My
- 2:53Speaker 2: scariest one was I went on a date with a
- 2:55Speaker 2: guy and he just reached over and honked my booble
- 3:00Speaker 2: like a horn.
- 3:00Speaker 1: That is insane behavior.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, well, is he a clown? Right?
- 3:05Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 3:06Speaker 2: He was eight.
- 3:07Speaker 1: That's some kind of clown for sure. Today's Variety Big
- 3:13Speaker 1: ninety eight point seven. Who's this? Hi the Madison? How
- 3:17Speaker 1: are you doing today? Where are you calling from?
- 3:18Speaker 3: I'm calling from West Spargo today.
- 3:20Speaker 1: What up? Madison? Do you have a horror dating story
- 3:23Speaker 1: for us? It is spooky season?
- 3:25Speaker 3: Oh lord do I I had gone out on this
- 3:31Speaker 3: date with this one guy. We had so much fun.
- 3:33Speaker 3: We had gone to the arcade and played a bunch
- 3:35Speaker 3: of games and then went out and got a drink,
- 3:38Speaker 3: and then he brought me back to his place. He
- 3:42Speaker 3: told me he was making me dinner. I'm thinking, okay, cool,
- 3:45Speaker 3: it's got to be something good, maybe something easy. This
- 3:48Speaker 3: man priss with a plate and his urn on a
- 3:53Speaker 3: hot dog.
- 3:53Speaker 1: But there's no chance, No, there's no way.
- 3:59Speaker 3: I'm serious. He walked up to me and said, dinner's ready,
- 4:04Speaker 3: and I looked at him and I just look down
- 4:06Speaker 3: and it's.
- 4:07Speaker 2: Just, oh, my gosh, did you say that you don't
- 4:11Speaker 2: like mini corn dogs? The best way to start the
- 4:21Speaker 2: day is with gratitude in your heart, That's right.
- 4:23Speaker 1: So we have some little victories for you, just things
- 4:26Speaker 1: that might not be world changing, but they might have
- 4:30Speaker 1: made our day a little bit better, even if it
- 4:32Speaker 1: was only for ten minutes. All right, So if you
- 4:34Speaker 1: ever have a little victory, we'd love to hear about it,
- 4:36Speaker 1: all right. Seven oh one two eight zero one nine
- 4:39Speaker 1: eight seven. You can text us, you can call us obviously,
- 4:42Speaker 1: any way you want to share those little victories. We
- 4:44Speaker 1: love hearing about when little Timmy or little Sarah studied
- 4:47Speaker 1: for her math test for four hours and then gets
- 4:50Speaker 1: a B plus. Yeah, because that's exactly what would happened
- 4:53Speaker 1: to me, all right, So your little victory.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Well, Gabe, you know that I go to bed wildly
- 5:02Speaker 2: early because I cannot function unless I get enough sleep,
- 5:07Speaker 2: and we wake up so early here. But I was
- 5:09Speaker 2: lying in bed with Mikey and I get a text
- 5:12Speaker 2: from your wife and it said, we have something to
- 5:15Speaker 2: drop off at your house. You don't have to come outside,
- 5:19Speaker 2: but we're going to eat quick first and then drop
- 5:22Speaker 2: it off if that's okay. And I said, this is
- 5:24Speaker 2: so mysterious and intriguing, that's totally okay.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Sucked we didn't eat first. Oh oh okay, I wanted
- 5:33Speaker 1: to drop it off before the wild game et c oh, gotcha?
- 5:36Speaker 2: Gotcha? Well, so then she sends me I follow up
- 5:40Speaker 2: text saying it has been delivered. So my I mean,
- 5:44Speaker 2: Mike and I were in bed, but I obviously wanted
- 5:46Speaker 2: to see what this was. So I go downstairs and
- 5:49Speaker 2: I actually I was like, well, depending on what this
- 5:51Speaker 2: is like, this could be major. So I took my
- 5:54Speaker 2: phone and I put the camera on just to see.
- 5:58Speaker 2: And so I go outside and I see that you
- 6:02Speaker 2: and your wife have left. Although I know your wife
- 6:05Speaker 2: is the one who made it.
- 6:07Speaker 1: I put some effort in.
- 6:08Speaker 2: This huge, double batch, massive tray of this no baked
- 6:15Speaker 2: cheesecake party sweet dip thing that you guys brought for
- 6:20Speaker 2: game night. I don't know what to call it, but
- 6:23Speaker 2: I do know that Mikey has such a sweet tooth.
- 6:27Speaker 2: And when you guys brought it over game night, his
- 6:29Speaker 2: like parting words were like, thanks for coming, Can you
- 6:31Speaker 2: make me that sweet tree again? And I mean, how
- 6:37Speaker 2: absolutely kind and wonderful of your wife to make such
- 6:41Speaker 2: a huge batch for Mikey and the kiddos. And I
- 6:45Speaker 2: don't know, I feel like I'm gonna come home to
- 6:47Speaker 2: three very happy kids today because Mikey is a kid
- 6:51Speaker 2: when it comes to sweets. So thank you.
- 6:54Speaker 1: That is quite the victory. You're welcome. My participation in
- 6:59Speaker 1: that was carrying said ingredients. Okay, that's important, that's right.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Someone's got to get it in the house exactly. And
- 7:07Speaker 1: I asked Corey about that. I was like, why are
- 7:09Speaker 1: you making this for them or whatever? And she was like, honestly,
- 7:12Speaker 1: because if I make it, I know that you don't
- 7:14Speaker 1: really eat things like that. So then what I got
- 7:17Speaker 1: to sit here and just get fat myself. And so
- 7:20Speaker 1: she was like, I have all these ingredients, someone at
- 7:24Speaker 1: least should enjoy them.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Yeah, well they're gonna enjoy it today. I know in
- 7:27Speaker 2: the middle of the night already he was taking spoonful
- 7:31Speaker 2: like Mikey is so happy. But I'm gonna post this
- 7:34Speaker 2: on the Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page because
- 7:37Speaker 2: you have to see this tray of deliciousness, Like, oh
- 7:40Speaker 2: my gosh, Corey is an angel.
- 7:42Speaker 1: You married an angel, that's right?
- 7:44Speaker 2: What about you? What's your little Victory?
- 7:46Speaker 1: Gab? My little Victory was driving the car the point
- 7:49Speaker 1: two miles to Angie's house to drop that up. No,
- 7:52Speaker 1: I'm just my little Victory. Okay, this is so minor,
- 7:56Speaker 1: and I might sneeze during this, so just the heads up, okay,
- 7:59Speaker 1: but you might have to hold on. No, I think
- 8:02Speaker 1: I'm all right. Okay, that sneas will come eventually. Okay.
- 8:05Speaker 1: So yesterday, obviously we were doing this thing for Angie
- 8:09Speaker 1: and Mikey and unloading a bunch of groceries and what
- 8:12Speaker 1: have you, and my wonderful wife, I see, had a
- 8:16Speaker 1: rotisserie chicken in the old pickup order. Okay, I've always
- 8:20Speaker 1: wanted to try this, and I've never done this before,
- 8:23Speaker 1: but okay, she was doing like some meal prep thing, right,
- 8:26Speaker 1: and so she asked, Hey, is there anyway you can
- 8:28Speaker 1: kind of take apart this rotisserie chicken and throw all
- 8:30Speaker 1: the not chicken part away? Okay, yeah, the meat part,
- 8:34Speaker 1: like shred it or yeah much, yeah, like shredded chicken
- 8:37Speaker 1: kind of. And so I used this chicken like little
- 8:41Speaker 1: leftover scraps or whatever, like pieces of chicken and made
- 8:45Speaker 1: the dopest bowl of ramen noodles I have ever had.
- 8:49Speaker 1: It was so good putting real chicken in chicken flavored ramen.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Does that make sense?
- 8:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like that's such.
- 8:57Speaker 1: A win for you, except now it's ruined because I
- 8:59Speaker 1: don't ever want to eat rotten without it again. So
- 9:02Speaker 1: now any regular bowl of ramen without chicken in it, yeah,
- 9:07Speaker 1: it's just not as feelings. So I was so jacked
- 9:11Speaker 1: about that, And that is what I will have for
- 9:13Speaker 1: lunch today. In a mirror, what is it seventeen days
- 9:23Speaker 1: or something like that. Seventeen days one of the busiest
- 9:27Speaker 1: big candy days of the entire I'd say twenty twenty
- 9:31Speaker 1: five year Halloween. And we talked yesterday. You know, what
- 9:35Speaker 1: was the candy we loved when we'd come across and
- 9:38Speaker 1: I got me one of those full sized reesis peanut
- 9:41Speaker 1: butter cups. As a kid, I knew I was in.
- 9:43Speaker 1: I knew I was in for an evening.
- 9:46Speaker 2: King sized baby Ruth. That's where my heart was. And
- 9:50Speaker 2: so you know, we discussed what are the candies that
- 9:53Speaker 2: you should be handing out so that the kids love you.
- 9:56Speaker 2: But that means we also must discuss what is the
- 10:00Speaker 2: worst candy and what you seem like. You're the crappiest
- 10:05Speaker 2: house on the block.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Where there's a ying, there's gotta be a yang exactly,
- 10:09Speaker 1: all right, Angie, When you were trick or treating and
- 10:11Speaker 1: you'd go to a house and you'd leave, you went, well,
- 10:15Speaker 1: given that one to dad. That's how it was for me,
- 10:19Speaker 1: trick or treating and be like, oh, yeah, almond Joy,
- 10:21Speaker 1: here you go, Dad.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Wait, you don't like almond Joy? What about an almond
- 10:26Speaker 2: Joy doesn't do it for you? Chocolate good, coconut good,
- 10:30Speaker 2: almond great?
- 10:32Speaker 1: Gross?
- 10:33Speaker 2: You don't like coconut.
- 10:35Speaker 1: I hate coconut. I don't necessarily mind the smell of coconut.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Yeah, but you don't want that in your mind.
- 10:41Speaker 1: I hate the taste of coconut. I think. To be honest,
- 10:44Speaker 1: this obviously wouldn't have been the case when I was
- 10:46Speaker 1: like seven. But I don't even like adult beverages that
- 10:49Speaker 1: are coconut.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Well, so coconut rum is not your No.
- 10:53Speaker 1: I've been like that forever. So Almondjoy didn't do it
- 10:57Speaker 1: for me. And then now I have one more candy corn.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Candy corn is a polarized, tasty tastes like nothing. It's
- 11:06Speaker 2: one of those where either you love it or you
- 11:09Speaker 2: hate it.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Yeah, and I definitely am on the hate side.
- 11:13Speaker 2: I don't like circus peanuts. Do you know what a
- 11:17Speaker 2: circus peanut is? Have you ever seen those? It's that orange.
- 11:20Speaker 2: I don't think it's actually a candy. I think someone
- 11:23Speaker 2: accidentally ate like a packing peanut and they were like,
- 11:28Speaker 2: could this be candy? And that's how circus peanuts were born.
- 11:31Speaker 2: That is the worst candy of all time. It's a
- 11:35Speaker 2: crime against humanity. I think, like, who is giving out sir?
- 11:40Speaker 2: If you go to the store and you're picking up
- 11:44Speaker 2: bags of candy because you want to pass out candy
- 11:47Speaker 2: on Halloween and you see circus peanuts and think, yeah,
- 11:51Speaker 2: the kids love this, you're actually a demon? Like why
- 11:55Speaker 2: would you do this?
- 11:56Speaker 1: Did you ask me if I've seen a circus peanus?
- 11:58Speaker 1: Of course I've seen a circus.
- 12:00Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 12:00Speaker 1: I was hoping looking.
- 12:03Speaker 2: They're foul looking, they're foul tasting. It's a crime also
- 12:06Speaker 2: a crime good and plenty what this is? Okay? So
- 12:10Speaker 2: Mike and I you know what, Mike and Ikes are okay,
- 12:14Speaker 2: so good and plenty No, those are good Okay, well,
- 12:19Speaker 2: if you make those are bad good and Plenty is
- 12:22Speaker 2: Mike and Ike's evil cousin. It's like the Wallauigi to
- 12:26Speaker 2: the Luigi.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Okay, it's good.
- 12:29Speaker 2: And Plenty is a crime. They taste like licorice, but bad.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Okay, so they're like worst licorice, worst licorice. Okay, because
- 12:38Speaker 1: I like licorice, So I don't think I want to
- 12:40Speaker 1: like licoricet to have a good and plenty and have
- 12:42Speaker 1: my good day ruined by plenty of trash candy. Exactly
- 12:48Speaker 1: that right there is why they pay me the big bucks. Angie.
- 12:50Speaker 1: All right, let us know your least favorite candy you
- 12:54Speaker 1: either god as a kid, I guess as an adult
- 12:56Speaker 1: you could still hate it too. Give us a call
- 12:58Speaker 1: or this is up on face book. And here is
- 13:00Speaker 1: my advice to any house passing out candy in seventeen
- 13:05Speaker 1: days or whatever it is till Halloween. Check out this
- 13:08Speaker 1: list and make sure you buy nothing on it. Your
- 13:12Speaker 1: out the good house, all right. Get the kids the Snickers,
- 13:15Speaker 1: the Reese's Cups, the Eminem's, the Skittles, the Starbursts. That's
- 13:20Speaker 1: what we need in these bags. Yeah, that the kids
- 13:23Speaker 1: are trouncing into the house with just candy that you
- 13:27Speaker 1: won't touch.
- 13:28Speaker 2: You know what you can leave off the list. According
- 13:30Speaker 2: to everyone on Facebook, candy corn, get that out of here.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Circus peanuts terrible. Trevor said, smarties. Yeah, smarties or not?
- 13:40Speaker 2: Are dumb?
- 13:41Speaker 1: They were in. They were indifferent to me. I didn't
- 13:45Speaker 1: hate nor like.
- 13:46Speaker 2: You were apathetic to the smarties.
- 13:48Speaker 1: I ate them because they were there.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Lindsay said bottle caps.
- 13:52Speaker 1: I liked bottle cabs. I didn't have a problem with those, Gabe,
- 13:55Speaker 1: I'm concerned. Have you ever had do you remember spree?
- 13:58Speaker 1: They came in that little I remember spree like those two.
- 14:02Speaker 1: I didn't have a problem with that.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, I'm so annoying, I was about to say.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Angie said, literally it was me. I commented on this
- 14:08Speaker 2: post your babies, sugar babies and sugar daddies. The only
- 14:16Speaker 2: sugar daddy I want is in real life. Who will
- 14:19Speaker 2: pay for my bills? But the candy is trash. In
- 14:27Speaker 2: a world of rules in great areas, one radio station
- 14:30Speaker 2: dares to ask the hard questions. Is it legal to
- 14:35Speaker 2: drive with headphones on in North Dakota?
- 14:40Speaker 1: So, apparently, if you are listening right now at Big
- 14:43Speaker 1: ninety eight point seven. And for whatever reason, you're in
- 14:45Speaker 1: your car and you have your headphones on and you're
- 14:47Speaker 1: not just listening to the speakers in your car. It
- 14:51Speaker 1: is not illegal to drive with headphones on in North Dakota. Yes,
- 14:57Speaker 1: you can legally bump that playlist. You can legally hang
- 15:00Speaker 1: out with Angie and myself here on Big ninety eight
- 15:02Speaker 1: point seven. Just don't get a little bit too into
- 15:06Speaker 1: it all right, here's where the gray areas come into play. Angie,
- 15:10Speaker 1: I have a trooper pulls you over to say sorry.
- 15:14Speaker 1: If a trooper pulls you over right and you say sorry, Officer,
- 15:17Speaker 1: I didn't hear the siren over the new Taylor Swift album,
- 15:21Speaker 1: that's gonna be a fine. You're gonna be okay. So
- 15:24Speaker 1: you can go ahead and wear those headphones, but just remember,
- 15:28Speaker 1: distracted driving is never in tune. Okay, you can't be
- 15:33Speaker 1: doing that.
- 15:34Speaker 2: That was cute.
- 15:35Speaker 1: This has been your friendly neighborhood legal loophole here on
- 15:40Speaker 1: ninety eight point seven, courtesy of North Dakota's technically not
- 15:45Speaker 1: a legal department.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Oh that's my favorite department.
- 15:47Speaker 1: I will say, you do have to be a little careful,
- 15:50Speaker 1: especially in the FM area, especially if you don't know
- 15:54Speaker 1: when you've crossed over to Minnesota. In Minnesota, it is
- 15:59Speaker 1: completely illegal to drive with headphones on. You cannot at all.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Yeah, say when am I crossing into Morehead I never know?
- 16:08Speaker 1: I know. That's my point. So you're gonna have to
- 16:10Speaker 1: do some learning.
- 16:12Speaker 4: Man.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Maybe I'll just listen through the speaker.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Just you don't feel that base.
- 16:21Speaker 2: I have always wanted to have a neighbor just like.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Well, mister Rogers, and you hear that song, it might
- 16:31Speaker 1: put you in a nice, calming, great mood. Yeah, wonderful. Man.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Today is the exact opposite of that. We need you
- 16:37Speaker 1: to narc on your neighbor. What is your neighbor doing
- 16:39Speaker 1: that is driving you absolutely nuts? And I will let
- 16:42Speaker 1: you know. My neighbors are wonderful. They are a delight.
- 16:45Speaker 1: I have no qualms with my neighbors. But there are
- 16:48Speaker 1: some individuals in my neighborhood. They have these Halloween decore
- 16:53Speaker 1: the Halloween decorations that like, I like, it's great, yeah
- 16:57Speaker 1: that I get to drive by and see them and
- 16:58Speaker 1: then continue on to where I live. Yeah, some of
- 17:02Speaker 1: these decorations if these were my name, like next door
- 17:05Speaker 1: neighbors would drive me insane. I see you know, spiderwebs
- 17:10Speaker 1: blowing in other people's yards. You have half the scarecrow
- 17:14Speaker 1: in their yard, half in the other yard, half the
- 17:17Speaker 1: toilet papers in this driveway and in the other driveway.
- 17:21Speaker 1: That would drive me nuts. But thankfully I don't have
- 17:23Speaker 1: that issue.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Many you have to factor in the wind. And I
- 17:29Speaker 2: will say this, let me thank you, Gabe, because I
- 17:33Speaker 2: did have issues with my neighbors. Yeah, over their trash,
- 17:38Speaker 2: because wind is a factor here and I don't know
- 17:42Speaker 2: what they were doing, but their trash would always just
- 17:45Speaker 2: blow into my yard. And the final straw for me
- 17:48Speaker 2: was when it was bathroom trash.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
- 17:50Speaker 2: It was like wet tissues. And then they caught me
- 17:52Speaker 2: talking crap on the ring camera and then you got
- 17:56Speaker 2: a hold of my neighbor.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I forced your hand. Yeah I remember that.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Well, now everything's fine. We haven't had any issues, no
- 18:04Speaker 2: quick trash. Really, everything is fine.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Mediator Gabe stepped on in.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Yes, yes, pat yourself on the back.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Have you had any like unreasonable requests from a neighbor?
- 18:19Speaker 4: Kimberly, my neighbor was asked me to watch his house
- 18:22Speaker 4: while he was away, and then he handed me a
- 18:24Speaker 4: binder with detailed instructions, including singing to his coy fish
- 18:28Speaker 4: so they wouldn't get out.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Yeah, we're out.
- 18:30Speaker 2: No, I would never houseit for a neighbor ever.
- 18:34Speaker 1: No, I wouldn't house sit, but I would look at
- 18:37Speaker 1: it from my driveway. Yeah that's not the same, and
- 18:40Speaker 1: so yeah, I w house watch.
- 18:43Speaker 2: I always do that.
- 18:45Speaker 1: All right? What about you, Trent? Have you ever had
- 18:47Speaker 1: just an interesting qualm with a neighbor man?
- 18:50Speaker 4: My neighbor has actually requested that we have all of
- 18:53Speaker 4: our parties in our house and not our yard because
- 18:57Speaker 4: he liked his piece and quietness. Well, I'm sorry, sorry,
- 19:00Speaker 4: but I am going to use my backyard as much
- 19:02Speaker 4: as I want.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Do you remember, I wonder if we've talked to the
- 19:08Speaker 1: other person on this side of the story.
- 19:10Speaker 2: What do you mean?
- 19:11Speaker 1: Do you not remember this phone call we had? It
- 19:13Speaker 1: was like two or three weeks ago. This person called
- 19:15Speaker 1: talking about their neighbor and they basically said, like, I
- 19:18Speaker 1: can't really complain. They throw these parties every Friday or
- 19:22Speaker 1: Saturday or whatever it is, and like they don't go
- 19:24Speaker 1: too late, they stay in their own What do you remember? Oh?
- 19:28Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, other guy. Oh that's funny because yeah,
- 19:33Speaker 2: even the guy who called to say that he like
- 19:36Speaker 2: requested the neighbor not do parties, like he knew that
- 19:40Speaker 2: he's wrong.
- 19:40Speaker 1: There's no way we've gotten both sides of that story.
- 19:44Speaker 2: I don't know how many people have this neighbor issue.
- 19:47Speaker 1: In my hope of hopes, we've just heard both sides
- 19:50Speaker 1: of that.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Well, then too bad for the guy who wanted the
- 19:53Speaker 2: partying to.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Stop to seven oh one two eight zero one nine
- 19:58Speaker 1: eight seven. Have you ever had aqu with your neighbor?
- 20:01Speaker 1: Maybe their Halloween decor is driving you nuts. Right now,
- 20:09Speaker 1: we have a problem at the Glitten House, Angie. I
- 20:11Speaker 1: have got two pumpkins outside of my house. Uh you know,
- 20:16Speaker 1: it's the front door or whatever. Yeah, and they're supposed
- 20:19Speaker 1: to glow in the dark.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Mm hmmm are they not?
- 20:23Speaker 1: They said glow in the dark. Paint is not a glowing.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Well, have you tried, like putting it under light for
- 20:29Speaker 2: a long time for.
- 20:30Speaker 1: They sit outside in the sun. Yeah, you're supposed to
- 20:33Speaker 1: charge it.
- 20:34Speaker 2: It's okay, Yeah, I know that they they don't work.
- 20:39Speaker 1: And I'm really bummed because I tried really hard on
- 20:42Speaker 1: this pumpkin. And I hate decorating pumpkins.
- 20:44Speaker 2: Hat.
- 20:45Speaker 1: I just I don't I get what kids doing and
- 20:48Speaker 1: parents do with kids. I understand that, but as an
- 20:51Speaker 1: almost thirty five year old and my wife, you know,
- 20:53Speaker 1: I just don't care to decorate these pumpkins. She loves it.
- 20:56Speaker 1: So I did it. Yeah, because I'm a good hubby. Right.
- 20:59Speaker 2: So now you're upset though, because it's not glowing.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Now, what a waste of time? Well?
- 21:03Speaker 2: Is it still decorated though, Like can you tell during
- 21:06Speaker 2: the day that it's decorated.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Yeah, it's got kind of a Jack Frost kind of
- 21:09Speaker 1: face on it.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Okay, so then that's good enough. Or bro put like
- 21:14Speaker 2: a little light by it or something.
- 21:16Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm just I'm not sure what to do.
- 21:18Speaker 1: And I want to know, do you have a Halloween
- 21:21Speaker 1: decoration that is giving you some problems? We also have
- 21:24Speaker 1: got this mum of which we've talked about, right next
- 21:27Speaker 1: to these pumpkins, and this thing keeps blowing over in
- 21:31Speaker 1: the wind. And I'm hoping this will be the last
- 21:34Speaker 1: call for outside decor like that at the Glynden house
- 21:38Speaker 1: because this thing just falls over every day. It looks
- 21:41Speaker 1: like the leaning Tower of Pisa. Right now, and we can't.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Corey can't get this thing to just stay up with
- 21:47Speaker 1: the wind.
- 21:48Speaker 2: That okay, the wind. So here's the thing I draw
- 21:51Speaker 2: and went on my way home. You've probably seen this, Gabe,
- 21:54Speaker 2: because we go the same direction to get home. On
- 21:56Speaker 2: twenty fifth, there's a house that has like a blue
- 22:00Speaker 2: are we inflatable with a pumpkin?
- 22:02Speaker 1: Okay, and you'll see it.
- 22:05Speaker 2: You're gonna notice it when you drive home today on
- 22:07Speaker 2: the right hand side, okay, but it's an inflatable. And
- 22:09Speaker 2: then it's like kind of already just wonky and knocked over.
- 22:13Speaker 2: And I'm curious because i haven't lived here my whole life.
- 22:18Speaker 2: I've only been here for six months, but it's so
- 22:20Speaker 2: windy here. I think it's a strange choice to have
- 22:24Speaker 2: inflatables in your yard.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Any type of decor outside is kind of a rough.
- 22:30Speaker 2: Go, yeah, but specifically the inflatable something light yeah, yeah.
- 22:35Speaker 2: And so there's only been one day that I've seen
- 22:37Speaker 2: this decoration upright, like work, yeah, and now it's like
- 22:41Speaker 2: I'll knocked over and sad. How do you combat that?
- 22:46Speaker 1: Yeah? I don't know. I don't know what you do.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Do you tie them to something? Do you? I don't know.
- 22:51Speaker 1: I put a stick in the ground and not a face.
- 22:54Speaker 1: I'm not sure. Annie, What about you do you have?
- 22:57Speaker 1: Are you having trouble with any Halloween decor? Like my sad,
- 23:00Speaker 1: kind of half painted looking pumpkin.
- 23:02Speaker 4: The skeleton on my porch keeps losing his head, like
- 23:05Speaker 4: literally every morning I find it in a different part
- 23:08Speaker 4: of the yard. Either the wind got it out for me,
- 23:11Speaker 4: or like he's just hitting the streets after dark.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Yeah, that's gotta be it. He's out. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 23:18Speaker 1: he's out doing a little boozing and cruising, you know
- 23:20Speaker 1: what I mean. All Right, what about you, Drew?
- 23:22Speaker 4: I have this giant inflatable ghost that will not stay
- 23:25Speaker 4: upright no matter what I do.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Right now, I have ten ropes attached to it. I
- 23:31Speaker 1: think it might be my lawn, like maybe it's too
- 23:34Speaker 1: loose or something. And Jesus, we're just talking about man
- 23:44Speaker 1: being a cat dad that I am. Actually, they're kind
- 23:48Speaker 1: of more my roommates. They're more like my wife's children's. Yeah,
- 23:52Speaker 1: I feel like I have to share this story. If
- 23:54Speaker 1: I didn't, I wouldn't be doing this this program Justice today. Angie.
- 23:59Speaker 1: All right, there's this family that went on a road
- 24:02Speaker 1: trip last month and it was one hundred miles in
- 24:07Speaker 1: they pulled over for gas. So they've been driving, you know,
- 24:09Speaker 1: for quite some time. Yeah, and they realized that their cat,
- 24:14Speaker 1: ray Ray, was along for the ride. But he was
- 24:16Speaker 1: not hiding inside the van. He was clinging to the
- 24:20Speaker 1: roof of the VP. They had one of those like
- 24:23Speaker 1: soft kind of mesh cargo carrier things. Yeah, and ray
- 24:26Speaker 1: Ray was just sort of hanging onto the fabric while
- 24:29Speaker 1: they were speeding down the highway at seventy miles an hour.
- 24:32Speaker 1: The family couldn't believe it, and apparently ray Ray was unfazed,
- 24:37Speaker 1: so they just decided to continue to bring him along
- 24:40Speaker 1: for this epic adventure, which included running in a marathon
- 24:44Speaker 1: and then they also drove to New York to see
- 24:46Speaker 1: Hamilton oh wow. And of course they needed supplies though.
- 24:50Speaker 1: They had to go to the pet store and get
- 24:51Speaker 1: him like a litter box and food and one of
- 24:53Speaker 1: those cat backpacks. But they shared the story with ray
- 24:56Speaker 1: Ray on social media and it sure seems like Reyray
- 24:59Speaker 1: didn't regret it decision. He loved it. Now. For what
- 25:02Speaker 1: it's worth, ray Ray is an indoor slash outdoor cat,
- 25:05Speaker 1: so it's not like being outside is something completely foreign
- 25:07Speaker 1: to him, right, But they did have to sneak him
- 25:10Speaker 1: into their Airbnb, which technically didn't know they'd have a
- 25:14Speaker 1: cat with him. But despite that little hiccup of technically
- 25:18Speaker 1: breaking some Airbnb rolls, they did have this story though viral,
- 25:22Speaker 1: which was just crazy about this cat who really I
- 25:24Speaker 1: guess you just loved his family that much he was
- 25:27Speaker 1: one to hang on to a mesh fabric thing on
- 25:29Speaker 1: the roof of their car.
- 25:31Speaker 2: That is the sweetest thing on the planet. And by
- 25:34Speaker 2: the way, Mikey, my boyfriend he met your guys's cats
- 25:38Speaker 2: yep on Friday. And when you guys dropped off that
- 25:42Speaker 2: sweet treat cheesecake dip yesterday, Mikey said to me, the
- 25:45Speaker 2: only thing missing was the cats. They should have dropped
- 25:48Speaker 2: off the cats.
- 25:49Speaker 1: I don't have a single cat that would cling to
- 25:51Speaker 1: the roof of my car for me, all right. I'll
- 25:53Speaker 1: tell you that my wife. Maybe the world's full of
- 25:56Speaker 1: nice people. If you can't find one, you gotta be one.
