  Happy Saturday morning everybody.

  Darn it. I had a really good consecutive

  streak record going with no DNS. I ran 30 straight races this

  year with no DNS. That stands for did not finish.

  Hell of a year going. And last night in Peebly,

  Missouri at Federated Auto Parts Raceway Park, 40 cars and I'm in

  a 25 lap feature. I don't know, run around 8th or

  10th, just, you know, getting settled in, bopping and weaving,

  juking and jiving. And a car spun out in front of
• 0:50
  all of us and I got into them. Had no place to go and I fell

  out of the race because I had a flat left front tire and it bent
• 1:00
  my drag link locked the steering up.

  Couldn't go anymore. So what a bummer but I am proud
• 1:08
  of that. Hey, it was it wasn't even 30

  straight races with no DNS, so I'm pretty proud of that.

  And by the way, if we want to get technical, I still got a

  streak going of, you know, no parts Failure.

  What a bummer. All right, well, when I wrecked

  out last night, I thought about quitting because I was

  depressed. I was like well this is a

  message from God telling me that I'm 62 years old I should quit.

  Then about an hour and a half later I decided to keep racing.

  Thank God to my son-in-law Brody Pompey.

  I tell everybody I have 3 great son in Jake just sounds cool,

  and then Justin and Brody, well, Brody's.

  Brody's a racer. He builds those outlaw carts and

  he runs AB Mod every once in a while.

  He ran really good last night and after the races were over,

  you know, this will put me deep. It put me buried in AB Main and

  I started looking at everything. Schrader come rolling by me,

  Schrader said. Kenny Schrader, He Poqed.

  Do you know what POQ means? Schrader POQ.

  It means pissed off. Quit.

  Schrader just left the whole damn facility.

  He's gone. He just didn't go good.

  He run his A Mod. Somebody ran over his door in

  the A Mod heat race, so he just pulled off the track.

  He ran 10th in the B Mod and he said, you know what, I've had

  enough. That's one great thing.

  And I really admire that about Schrader.

  At 70 years old, we just racing. We're not solving World Peace

  anymore. At 70 years old, you know,

  you're not the greatest of all time.

  You're just racing. That's what you do.

  And Schrader goes, you know what, I've had enough of this

  place. He pulled out, he come by me and

  I went over. He was happy and I said, well,

  shred, A little bit ago I was going to quit racing, but now I

  think I'll keep racing. Brody, he says.

  I'm getting up early in the morning.

  He goes and I'm fixing everything.

  So after a little therapy session last night, I decided to

  keep racing US racers, these emotions here.

  I've been racing my whole day in life.

  And yeah, man, I'll tell you what, it's a lot of work though.

  This peebly deal. It's a three day.

  It's like the 24 hours of peebly if Josh Carroll gets this

  We practice qualify on Thursday, we run heat races and qualifying

  feature on Friday, and now tonight we're going to finally

  finish it off. But it does feel like the 24

  Hours of Daytona, except we're at Pevely, the 24 Hours of

  Pevely. It is a wonderful event.

  We are having a good time. Circumstances out of my control.

  I got up super early on Saturday morning, went downtown and that

  he's a good guy, help the sport. So my dumb ass gets up at you

  know, first of all, I didn't go to bed till late Friday night

  and then I get up at like 6 Saturday morning.

  I'm damn down there on TV. That's where you saw me do

  coffee with Kenny from from Busch Stadium.

  Somebody said why are you downtown so early in the

  I thought I just I was going right past Busch Stadium.

  It's a great backdrop. So I'm dragging ass a little

  My eyes burn, my eyes burned all day yesterday, kept blinking

  So thought I would share with all you racers out there the

  And some bitches went after after I fell out of the race.

  After the race was over, I hear there was a beat down.

  Those guys. Listen, I love racing and I

  think dirt racing is awesome. But some of these guys that race

  dirt cars, it's like you're with their livelihood.

  I'm not going to say no names because I don't want to get

  nobody in trouble. But two guys were going at it

  after the race. Now follow this bouncing ball.

  Got to put my coffee mug down. Oh, darn it, two guys were going

  after this. This guy goes after this guy,

  but this guy don't want to fight.

  He's like, hey, man. Well, this guy the the real calm

  guy, his friend had enough of this guy running his mouth pow.

  And that guy's erased. They're all all three were race

  car drivers. So this guy, remember, he comes

  over, he's going, he's going to tell this guy what he thinks and

  he's aggressive and the the other guy's real nice man.

  Hey, and the other guy, that is his friend who's a good racer,

  finishing the top five. Pow, That was the story in the

  garage area. Then I hear another car ran

  over, another car running in the top five.

  I quickly learned I don't have any problems.

  I'll see you tonight at Peedley. I'll be starting towards the

  back of the A main. Oh yeah, we'll be in the A main,
