  Now, I got a message from the Lord for people to really understand who God really is.

  The title, Listen to the Lord's Instructions.

  Now, that sounds easy.

  I'm gonna be real with you, that sounds easy, but the reality is most people won't do it.

  In the, in Psalms 32 verse eight, New American Standard Bible, when he says,"I," we talking about the Lord,"will instruct you in the way which you should go.

  I," talking about the Lord again,"will advise you with My eyes upon you." So when the Lord showed me this, woke me up this morning and said,"Let me show you what I've been doing for all of these years.

  I've had my hands on you, and I've been instructing you, and you have been following, and this is why you're where you're at." Somebody asked me this week, he says, uh,"Do you realize you're at an amazing place in life?" Yes, I do, but let me explain to you why.

  See, this ain't my doing.

  I am probably the happiest man alive, and I would even say in the top 100 happiest men that have ever lived.

  Why though?

  Because my mind is clear, the Lord is real, and my joy is real.

  Remember now, I've never smoked a cigarette in my life, never drank any alcohol, and never, of course I can't get drunk, and never, never, never did drugs.

  I made up my mind once I decide to go a direction, I am locked in and moving.

  Now, why is this important?

  See, I tell you this, and I'm gonna tell you some things that the Lord have done.

  He said,"I'm gonna tell you things throughout your life to guide you where you should go." Why though?

  do what I did, what I did, but let me just give you some understanding.

  At the age of 12 years old, I knew the Lord called me to preach.

  I knew that.

  I just wasn't gonna do it.

  Why?

  Because I saw too many hypocrites in the church.

  But I also understood that, okay- I'm not gonna get anywhere in this life in the r- with the route I was going.

  I'm almost 22 years old, and I'm sitting at my mother's table.

  I done left the relationship, I done left a job, and now I'm deciding to go a whole new avenue, and it's dark.

  It's a dark place.

  I'm being real.

  So I'm sitting at my mother's table, and I said,"Lord, I need you." Now remember now, at this point, yes, I went to church, but I don't know God.

  But I knew enough to say,"Lord, I need you to take me,"'cause I was gonna join the military.

  I said,"I need you to get me in." He helped me get in.

  "Take me through, and then bring me out.
• 3:17
  And when you bring me out, I'll serve you for the rest of my life." Now, I didn't know the word.

  I didn't know.

  I did exactly what Jacob promised, what Jacob asked, what God did for Jacob.

  But nonetheless, he took me in.

  I got in, and then when it was time, at 22 years, he said,"It's time to get out." I said,"Now?" He said,"Yep.""Okay." I got out.

  Now, here's the part when he said,"Listen to the Lord's instructions now." When I got out, I listened to him.

  For the next 36 days, all I did is read and listen to the Word of God.

  I didn't do nothing else.

  Read and listen to the Word of God.

  Anybody who know me says,"You're gonna go crazy." I got it, but I'm gonna read and listen to the Word of God.

  In 36 days, I went from, through the Old, Old Testament, I went through and the New Testament, 66 books, 36 days.

  That was my job.

  I promised the Lord,"If you take me in and bring me out, I'll serve you for the rest of my life." Now, here's the other part that people don't really understand.

  I says,"Okay, Lord, you want me to preach.

  Where do you want me to start?" He showed me in a vision the church I would go to, never been there, never, I'd never been to the church.

  I knew the pastor, um, Pastor Ursula Haskell, but I'd never been there.

  So when I called them, I says, the Lo- I asked the Lord,"Where do you want me to start mi- as a minister?" And he says,"Under you." Okay.

  And he says, so I says,"Here's the church." I said,"You don't have steeples." He said,"Exactly right." I said,"You don't have pews." I said,"You got purple chairs." He said,"You're exactly right." I said,"There's a, a s- a, a, a, a great thing coming up," and pointed to the right where you preach from.

  He said,"Yeah, that's the air conditioning ducting." He said,"You heard from God." I know I always hear from God, and that's where I started, and that's where my ministry started from, um, sitting under him.

  And once my season was over, I c- I was be- getting ready to be ordained.

  And in my ordination, I said, on my day of, I was walking and I said,"Lord..." Remember now, he said,"Listen to the Lord's instruction." I said,"Lord, if you want me to be a pastor, if you want me to preach, I need to hear these four words,'You are a pastor.'" These four words.

  Because if I'm not hearing these words, I'm not going through it, and this is the day of my ordination.

  And I'm walking and a lady comes up and her two sons, the one on the left is about five, the one on the right is about seven, and I said,"Good morning." The lady said,"Good morning." And the seven-year-old says,"You are a pastor." I said,"What did you say?" I said,"Matter of fact, you ain't gotta repeat it.

  I got it.

  I got it." Why?

  I know the Lord answers my prayer.

  See, I asked the Lord, I said,"Lord," I was gonna get a divorce like anybody else.

  And I, and as, as I'm getting ready to go through, I said,"Lord, I can't do this no more." And he says,"Your biggest problem is you don't listen to me, but you want your wife to listen to you." He said,"Y'all out of order." I said,"We out of order?" He said,"Y'all got married wrong.

  Y'all got married, the wife, my wife came to the in- came up to the church," which would be the altar,"and she got me and she took me back." He said,"That's totally out of order.

  You should've went and got her,'cause if you the bridegroom, you go get your bride, and then you take the bride back." He said,"Y'all been working upside down, and now you want the happiness, and it's not gonna work." I said,"Okay, Lord.

  That's okay." So the next step, I said,"Okay." We went to beach.

  We went to, uh, Myrtle Beach in 10th Avenue, and we went to the water, and I said,"Okay, Lord, I need you to be the center." And my wife repeated the same thing.

  And when we come from the water on, on 10th Avenue to the car, this man come, his wife, and the five kids, and he said,"Y'all just got married." And I'm saying to myself,"You ain't know what you talking about, because we've been married," but we just got married spiritually.

  And he said,"The Lord's gonna bless y'all beyond your wildest dreams." He didn't know at that time it was a tough season.

  I'm in school full-time as a full-time student.

  It's tough.

  But nonetheless, listen to the Lord's instruction.

  I'm living what the prophet prophesied and what the Lord spoke about benefits way back then.

  Why am I telling you this?

  Because we gotta know that he is real.

  Everybody want this, but are they willing to go through what it takes to get this?

  When I was a police officer, and I said,"Lord," I said,"This is so unfair." I said,"I need you to tell me what to do." And I heard in a audible voice, and I'm riding with another officer, and he, and literally, okay, I heard the Lord clear.

  I said,"Take me back to the station." He said,"What's going on?" I said,"I'm resigning today." He said,"Resigning?""Yes, I'm resigning today.""Why?" I know the Lord is teaching me and instructing me on where I should go.

  And I went back and I heard the sergeant says,"You can't quit.""Uh, how do you mean I can't quit?" I said,"I am turning in my gun and my uniform, and I'm bringing the rest of the stuff tomorrow, and I'm done." He said,"Well, you'll never work for the f- I go,"I get what you're saying, but I know when it's time to leave." The best move I could ever make.

  So after I got done with that and I finished school and I got my degrees, and then I said,"Okay, Lord, where do you want me to work?" Not where I want to work.

  Where do you want me to work?

  And in a vision, in a dream, the Lord said, the Lord showed me,"A woman's gonna call you and offer you the job.

  Take it." Okay.

  Listen to the Lord's instruction.

  The lady called me.

  I took, I took the job.

  Now I...

  But eight months before that, yeah, six to eight months before that, I was wa- I was talking to a friend of mine, and a prophet was coming to town, and he said,"I need you to go see the prophet." I said,"Okay, I'll go see him.

  I'll go see him." I, you know, I was, I was, I didn't really want to, but I went and saw him.

  And when I got there, the prophet says,"You have no idea of the information and the things you know from God." I said,"Yeah, but I do." He said,"No, you've forgotten more than most people will ever know." And he says, but before I went in, I said,"Lord, if he's really a prophet of yours, before I say a word, tell him the month that I'll get the job." And the prophet said,"The Lord said to tell you you're gonna get the job in March." What?

  Guess when I got the job?

  March 21st.

  Why am I telling you, listen to the Lord's instruction?

  See, so when I got the job, what I didn't tell the average person is I had to drive three and a half hours to work.

  Work eight and a half hours, drive three and a half hours home.

  I was burning a tank of gas every day for six months, and turn out the job was temporary.

  Why?

  The Lord said,"Take the job." I ask him and he instruct me on what shall I do.

  Why am I telling you this?

  Because we are living that kind of life.

  My joy, my love is helping people.

  When the Lord told me, told us in 2022, told me,"Yeah, sell the house." Okay, sold the house.

  22 for me is one of God's numbers for me.

  Sold the house in'22, left the house, got a bigger house.

  Why?

  Left the job, got a better job.

  Why?

  Because he's instructing me on what to do.

  Now, as I say this, I wanna share with you something that most people don't cover, because I covered Psalm 32:8.

  But what does Psalm 32 say, and why is that important?

  It says,"How blessed is he whose wrongdoing is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

  How blessed is a person who guilt the Lord does not take into account." I knew I was doing some things wrong, but he says,"I'm not even gonna take those in account.""In whose spirit there is no deceit." I know I got the spirit of God because I can operate in all seven spirits of God.

  I understand I operate in the spirit, in the spirit of miracles.

  I understand I operate in the spirit of understanding.

  I understand I operate in the spirit of, of, of knowledge.

  I understand I operate in the spirit of counsel.

  I understand I operate in the spirit of law.

  I understand all of these things.

  Blessed is that man.

  But it goes on and it tells us things about sinning, about your hands being clean, about...

  I went to the Lord, I said,"Lord, I know I'm good in these areas, I mean, I'm not sinning in these areas, but I got some problems over here." Why?

  I'm being honest.

  How many people are honest with God?

  See, I don't know the last time I've sinned.

  Why?

  Because I do not have that in me.

  I have a choice.

  I choose not to.

  Now, why am I telling you this?

  'Cause in verse five he said,"I acknowledge my sin to you." I'm talking to the Lord now,"And I did not hide my guilt." When I do wrong, I say,"Lord, forgive me, I've done wrong." Instead, I will confess my wrongdoing to the Lord,"And you forgave the guilt of my sin." This is why a lot of people don't walk in this.

  "Therefore let everyone who's godly pray to you in the time when you may be found." Certainly in a flood of great waters they will not reach him.

  They have no understanding.

  Why am I telling you this?

  See, here's the beautiful part of this with verse 11.

  Watch what it says now.

  "Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous one." I'm not righteous because I say so.

  He says I'm righteous.

  Because I have the spirit of God in him.

  I listen and I obey, and he leads me because I listen to the Lord's instruction, and we are living a life that I can honestly say without a doubt in my mind ain't but God.

  The Lord says,"You call me Lord, but you won't do what I say." Well, I call him Lord, and I do what he say, and I get the blessing of the Lord.

  He said,"Enjoy my benefits because this is upon you." That is the word for today.

  I can't tell you, this is the greatest place I've ever been in this world, but I promise you, I had to listen to the Lord.

  I love my wife, but I can't listen to her when the Lord is telling me something different.
