- 0:27Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:32Speaker 1: with us inside the tree house on Friday.
- 0:38Speaker 2: December thirteenth, twenty twenty four.
- 0:41Speaker 1: I cannot remember the last time I was this excited
- 0:43Speaker 1: for Friday the thirteenth, partly because our tree house is full.
- 0:51Speaker 1: So you've got me Daniel Malley along with Trey Trenholm.
- 0:55Speaker 1: We also have Raj Sharma and Jerry Caldwell. One more
- 1:01Speaker 1: person and our treehouse will run us over. And if
- 1:11Speaker 1: there's one thing that our treehouse can certainly get up for,
- 1:15Speaker 1: it's a Friday episode. And I like to think our
- 1:20Speaker 1: treehouse is strong and hard, unlike the Hawk to a
- 1:27Speaker 1: Girl's Mean coin, which is gone limp and did.
- 1:30Speaker 2: So in a matter of minutes. Pretty impressive if you
- 1:33Speaker 2: think about it.
- 1:36Speaker 1: People are actually accusing the Hawk to a Girl Hailey Welch,
- 1:42Speaker 1: of a scheme after the launch of her Hawk Mean Coin.
- 1:50Speaker 1: I don't even think I had heard the term mean
- 1:52Speaker 1: coin until a couple of days ago, but it's apparently
- 1:57Speaker 1: a thing, big thing.
- 2:00Speaker 3: You've heard like doga coin.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Yes, I've yeah, I know, I've heard of bitcoin. I've
- 2:08Speaker 1: heard of doge coin and some other things like that,
- 2:10Speaker 1: but I had not heard of meme coin before.
- 2:15Speaker 2: It's like currency, except it's a bigger joke.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, All I know is that it's under the
- 2:20Speaker 1: cryptocurrency umbrella. And according to this article from Vice dot com,
- 2:26Speaker 1: meme coins are basically cryptocurrencies inspired by Internet memes, Internet
- 2:33Speaker 1: memes or pop culture references and trends, which makes sense
- 2:39Speaker 1: if you're Hawktua, because that's how she got famous. She
- 2:43Speaker 1: went viral, and part of her extending her fifteen minutes
- 2:48Speaker 1: of fame is trying to cash in anywhere and everywhere
- 2:51Speaker 1: she can. So she did a number of interviews after
- 2:55Speaker 1: the uh the Hoktua moment went viral. She's had some
- 2:59Speaker 1: paid appearance is at nightclubs, including one to celebrate her
- 3:02Speaker 1: birthday that Shaquille O'Neil was the DJ at It's Very Fun.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Has a podcast on Jake Paul's network.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Yep, so she's trying her hand at podcasting. Before the
- 3:18Speaker 1: launch of her mean coin, though, Halee Welch, the hawktour Girl,
- 3:22Speaker 1: said it's not just a cash grab.
- 3:26Speaker 3: Yes it is.
- 3:27Speaker 1: That's what cryptocurrency is. It's a cash grab anyway.
- 3:31Speaker 3: Well she I mean, God bless her, but I am
- 3:38Speaker 3: quite sure and I say this. I don't. I would
- 3:41Speaker 3: not none of us would be smart enough to do this,
- 3:44Speaker 3: but to launch a mean coin and manipulate the market
- 3:46Speaker 3: in what they are being accused of. She ain't the
- 3:49Speaker 3: mastermind behind that. She just someone said, hey, you want
- 3:52Speaker 3: to make a quick ten million dollars here, let us do.
- 3:55Speaker 1: This, yep, and then she said okay, yeah. Before its launch,
- 4:02Speaker 1: she said it was not just a cash grab. However,
- 4:05Speaker 1: quickly after it took off, it crashed with a ninety
- 4:08Speaker 1: one percent declined in value. And then that's when investors
- 4:12Speaker 1: began accusing the Haktuur girl of taking part.
- 4:17Speaker 2: In a pump and dump scheme.
- 4:22Speaker 1: You can't make this up is perfect, but look, let's
- 4:27Speaker 1: be honest. If you're an investor and you lost a
- 4:28Speaker 1: bunch of money, that's on you, because you know, this
- 4:31Speaker 1: isn't the first time that the Hoktour Girl has sucked
- 4:33Speaker 1: someone dry.
- 4:36Speaker 4: Go.
- 4:40Speaker 1: According to investors dot Gov, in a pump and dump scheme,
- 4:45Speaker 1: fraudster's typically spread false or misleading information to create a
- 4:48Speaker 1: buying frenzy that will pump up the price of a
- 4:51Speaker 1: stock and then dump shares of it by selling their
- 4:54Speaker 1: own shares at the inflated price. Once the fraudsters dump
- 4:58Speaker 1: their shares and stop hyping stock, the stock price typically
- 5:01Speaker 1: falls and investors lose money.
- 5:05Speaker 2: And this Cray help me with this.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Isn't that that's sort of like one of the major
- 5:08Speaker 1: plot points of the movie Eddie Murphy dan Aykroyd. Trading places, Oh,
- 5:16Speaker 1: trading places.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a commodity. But but essentially, yeah, it's this
- 5:21Speaker 3: is why in our in like within stock market, an
- 5:24Speaker 3: i p O, you're for forbidden from sell. Like if
- 5:28Speaker 3: you work for the company and you have stock options,
- 5:31Speaker 3: you're forbidden to sell your shares within like six months
- 5:34Speaker 3: of an i p O because all of a sudden,
- 5:36Speaker 3: you go from your shares are nothing, they're worth a lot,
- 5:39Speaker 3: and you could have mass you know, mass selling, and
- 5:43Speaker 3: the stock plummets. Yeah. In crypto, it's it's it's largely unregulated.
- 5:47Speaker 3: And this isn't even crypto where you have to mine
- 5:51Speaker 3: the coins and do all that stuff. It's just it's
- 5:53Speaker 3: mean coin. And that's for you know, about probably one
- 5:58Speaker 3: in every I I would guess us five hundred mean
- 6:01Speaker 3: coins turn out to be worth anything at all.
- 6:07Speaker 2: I don't know who it was.
- 6:09Speaker 1: There was an investor I saw an article about this
- 6:12Speaker 1: he was saying about cryptocurrencies. He's like, don't do it.
- 6:16Speaker 1: It's sort of an ethereal thing. It's not a real thing.
- 6:19Speaker 1: There was a video I saw the other day from
- 6:20Speaker 1: Warren Buffett, and keeping in mind, this is on the internet,
- 6:23Speaker 1: so I don't even know if it's real, because I
- 6:25Speaker 1: don't know if it's a deep fake Warren Buffet. But
- 6:28Speaker 1: according to the video I saw, Warren Buffett is at
- 6:31Speaker 1: a conference and he's basically talking saying cryptocurrency. He's like,
- 6:34Speaker 1: I'm not putting any money in it because it's not
- 6:36Speaker 1: a real thing. I could put money into real estate.
- 6:38Speaker 1: That's a real thing. It's a tangible asset. Cryptocurrency is
- 6:41Speaker 1: not an asset. And again, that could have been a
- 6:43Speaker 1: deep fake video for all I know now at that video,
- 6:46Speaker 1: it could have been a room full of black dudes
- 6:48Speaker 1: around him.
- 6:48Speaker 3: I don't know Warren Buffett. I mean, going back to
- 6:52Speaker 3: the dot com boom of the late nineties, he wouldn't
- 6:55Speaker 3: invest in Amazon or any of that because he was like,
- 6:58Speaker 3: how do you value these internet companies? And he's just
- 7:01Speaker 3: very conservative. He then became one of the largest, you know,
- 7:03Speaker 3: shareholders of Apple. He's just very conservative. That way, there
- 7:08Speaker 3: are some cryptos that are going to eventually be like
- 7:11Speaker 3: Bitcoin is going to be around. It's it has enough
- 7:15Speaker 3: behind it that it's traded, and as soon as some
- 7:19Speaker 3: of them will eventually end up being a method for
- 7:22Speaker 3: which you can pay day in and day out.
- 7:26Speaker 1: There you can use bitcoin to purchase things, So that
- 7:31Speaker 1: that does seem to be some type of currency that
- 7:34Speaker 1: is that is going to stick, even though it's not
- 7:36Speaker 1: backed by really anything other than uh, desire, I.
- 7:40Speaker 3: Mean, neither's at this point. Neither is the dollar.
- 7:43Speaker 1: That's true, it's all fake this, but it's kind of
- 7:46Speaker 1: like it's kind of like one of my favorite lines
- 7:48Speaker 1: in one of the Marvel movies. It was in I
- 7:49Speaker 1: think it was in an Infinity War when uh uh
- 7:54Speaker 1: Chris Pratt's character star Lord says it's.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Like, oh to Thor's like, you just made that up,
- 7:58Speaker 2: and he's like, all words are made up. Actually yeah,
- 8:02Speaker 2: he's right. Uh, society has made up.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Laws are made up, money is made up, currency is
- 8:07Speaker 1: made up, and what they're back.
- 8:09Speaker 2: But it's all made up.
- 8:10Speaker 1: But someone just thought sat around one day and thought
- 8:12Speaker 1: it up and said, ah, money and jobs and stuff
- 8:16Speaker 1: and cryptocurrency is kind of the same thing, but in
- 8:19Speaker 1: order for you to cash in on the cryptocurrency, you
- 8:22Speaker 1: have to have someone to buy it. In this case,
- 8:26Speaker 1: now you have to wonder about uh uh, you know
- 8:29Speaker 1: people as an investor. Of all the possible people in
- 8:34Speaker 1: the world that you could or could not invest in,
- 8:38Speaker 1: is the girl who who's claim to fame was spitting
- 8:42Speaker 1: on that thing the one you want to put your
- 8:45Speaker 1: life savings into.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Yeah, she said she prefers backshots because she doesn't like
- 8:50Speaker 3: eye contact.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Perfect for the banking industry. Warren Buffett, you're listening to
- 9:08Speaker 2: the Treehouse.
- 9:09Speaker 5: Visit us online that Treehouse OnAir dot com.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Let's get Daniel Cook from Cookdfwroofing and Restoration into the
- 9:23Speaker 1: Treehouse eight three to three COOKDFW for your free roof
- 9:27Speaker 1: inspection the website cookdfw dot com. You guys do lots
- 9:31Speaker 1: of great work on roofs, and the restoration part of
- 9:34Speaker 1: the side of the business also means you know you're
- 9:36Speaker 1: doing remodeling work underneath the roof inside the home as well.
- 9:41Speaker 1: And you were telling me just recently that you, Daniel
- 9:45Speaker 1: and COOKDFW Roofing and Restoration offer lifetime warranties on all
- 9:50Speaker 1: your work.
- 9:51Speaker 6: Yeah, Dan, That's something that we talked about for a
- 9:53Speaker 6: while now, and we decided to go ahead and just
- 9:55Speaker 6: pull the trigger on it. We've had excellent reviews, we've
- 9:58Speaker 6: had excellent referrals. People really love our work when they
- 10:01Speaker 6: give us a chance, and we just want to put
- 10:04Speaker 6: our money where our mouth is. And you know that's
- 10:06Speaker 6: the best way I can always say that is just
- 10:09Speaker 6: back it up.
- 10:10Speaker 3: Back it up.
- 10:11Speaker 6: When I was growing up and I told somebody who's
- 10:13Speaker 6: gonna kick their ass, you got to back it up. Well,
- 10:15Speaker 6: now that I'm a grown man and we're doing professional
- 10:17Speaker 6: services on people's homes and I tell them that they're
- 10:19Speaker 6: never going to have a better experience, I'm backing it up.
- 10:22Speaker 6: We're gonna take care of your home because we want
- 10:25Speaker 6: you to have that peace of mind knowing that after
- 10:27Speaker 6: we left, you have the very best product left behind.

- 10:32Speaker 6: that you don't have to worry about us not coming back.
- 10:35Speaker 1: You can experience it for yourself, and you can put
- 10:37Speaker 1: your money where Daniel's mouth is, and he'll honor it.
- 10:40Speaker 1: As you just heard, even if he dies, he's still
- 10:44Speaker 1: going to honor this stuff. I mean that's that's that's
- 10:46Speaker 1: some serious integrity and quality craftsmanship to have the confidence
- 10:50Speaker 1: to be like, yeah, this is how we do things.
- 10:52Speaker 1: So you give the man a call for that free
- 10:53Speaker 1: roof inspection. Eight three three Cook DFW the website cookdfw
- 10:58Speaker 1: dot com.
- 11:06Speaker 7: You're in the treehouse.
- 11:09Speaker 8: Visit us online on Treehouse OnAir dot com.
- 11:15Speaker 1: You can advertise right here inside the treehouse. Just shoot
- 11:18Speaker 1: us an email. Treehouse on Air at gmail dot com.
- 11:21Speaker 1: That's Treehouse on Air at gmail dot com. Sponsorship opportunities
- 11:25Speaker 1: are available right here inside the treehouse.
- 11:29Speaker 2: This is the Treehouse. I'm Dan along with.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Trey and Raj and Jerry on a Fridday, and it
- 11:35Speaker 1: is the holiday season, and I think it's time that
- 11:39Speaker 1: I finally share with you guys my theory. I don't
- 11:43Speaker 1: have many theories, but when I do, they're usually pretty stupid.
- 11:50Speaker 1: This one, I think is not entirely stupid. It's just
- 11:53Speaker 1: kind of silly, but I still think it's true, even
- 11:56Speaker 1: though it's not scientifically proven, which means I can only
- 11:59Speaker 1: call it a theory, but here it is. My theory
- 12:03Speaker 1: is that you can basically take any real life news
- 12:07Speaker 1: story and turn it into a Hallmark film so you
- 12:12Speaker 1: know how for years, Law and Order would say I
- 12:14Speaker 1: think it was Law and Order would say ripped from
- 12:16Speaker 1: the headlines. All these stories sound familiar because these are
- 12:21Speaker 1: our stories are based on real things that have happened
- 12:24Speaker 1: in the real world, Like this bad thing happened in
- 12:27Speaker 1: this person. Now we're going to dramatize it for a
- 12:31Speaker 1: Law and Order episode. I think you can do the
- 12:34Speaker 1: same thing with Hallmark movies. You could take damn near
- 12:38Speaker 1: any news story you see and you could use that
- 12:42Speaker 1: as a driving point for a Hallmark film.
- 12:45Speaker 2: That is my theory. There it is.
- 12:47Speaker 1: I've laid it out onto the Treehouse table for you
- 12:50Speaker 1: all for the holidays this year. Every time you see
- 12:53Speaker 1: a news story, think to yourself, could this be a
- 12:57Speaker 1: Hallmark film? And I bet the answer will be yes
- 13:00Speaker 1: if you just think it's a little bit.
- 13:01Speaker 3: Hard y'all see where Hallmark did a reality show called
- 13:08Speaker 3: Finding Mister Christmas.
- 13:09Speaker 2: M Yeah, I didn't know that was a thing. Sorry,
- 13:16Speaker 2: my light was falling on me.
- 13:16Speaker 3: Yeah, they need the next, you know, their next Hallmark
- 13:20Speaker 3: movie star.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Yep, sort of like sort of like American Idol, but
- 13:25Speaker 1: for Hallmark actors.
- 13:27Speaker 3: Yes, But can we test this theory of yours.
- 13:32Speaker 7: See.
- 13:33Speaker 2: I was just thinking about some of the weird news
- 13:36Speaker 2: stories that we've talked about here, being Hallmark Christmas movies.
- 13:44Speaker 2: I mean, don't get me wrong, I would probably watch them.
- 13:47Speaker 1: But yeah, well, because typically the story is, you know,
- 13:51Speaker 1: it's usually it's typically a female has her big city
- 13:55Speaker 1: job and then she has to go back to the
- 13:56Speaker 1: small town for some reason, and then she meets the
- 13:59Speaker 1: down you know, the downtrodden guy, and they kind of
- 14:02Speaker 1: save each other whatever, and then they save Christmas in
- 14:04Speaker 1: the process.
- 14:05Speaker 2: That's the core of it.
- 14:07Speaker 1: It's usually girl, big city job and then she's got
- 14:09Speaker 1: to get back to back to some type of roots
- 14:13Speaker 1: and small town life type of thing. It's very rare
- 14:16Speaker 1: that these stories happened in the big cities. Although there
- 14:18Speaker 1: was one that happened in the big city. I'm not
- 14:21Speaker 1: proud to say I saw a part of that one.
- 14:22Speaker 3: But it's true.
- 14:23Speaker 2: It's typically small town stuff.
- 14:25Speaker 9: Of course you saw part of it.
- 14:28Speaker 1: It was years ago and I was high on cold medicine.
- 14:32Speaker 1: It was like two in the morning. I woke up,
- 14:34Speaker 1: couldn't go to sleep, so I just, instead of tossing
- 14:37Speaker 1: and turning, went to the living room tron on the
- 14:38Speaker 1: TV and it was a Hallmark Moving on and I
- 14:41Speaker 1: watched like an hour of it and I was high
- 14:43Speaker 1: on cold medicine.
- 14:44Speaker 9: Sure, I was young. I was young and needed the money.
- 14:52Speaker 1: That's also a plot point in a Hallmark film.
- 14:56Speaker 3: Yeah, you sure didn't know a lot about Hallmark movies.
- 15:00Speaker 2: It's really uncanny. Uh, it doesn't take much. You see one,
- 15:04Speaker 2: you've seen, you've pretty much seen them all, but you
- 15:07Speaker 2: still keep watching.
- 15:09Speaker 1: I don't, although I am curious about the one that's
- 15:13Speaker 1: uh that the Kansas City Chiefs did that's sort of
- 15:15Speaker 1: based on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey. But no, my
- 15:21Speaker 1: theory is and I think it holds pretty pretty accurate.
- 15:23Speaker 1: I think it holds pretty true that you can take
- 15:25Speaker 1: just about any news story and it could be a
- 15:28Speaker 1: you know, a Hallmark movie, like the the like the
- 15:34Speaker 1: Haley Weld story.
- 15:35Speaker 2: We just told the Hawk two of thing. Here's the girl.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Uh, she starts out in a small town, become super
- 15:40Speaker 1: famous for something. Hopefully it's not for the reason she did,
- 15:43Speaker 1: because it's a Hallmark movie. But she she becomes really
- 15:45Speaker 1: famous and then she loses everything because she did a
- 15:48Speaker 1: pump and dump scheme with mean Coin. And then she
- 15:51Speaker 1: has to go back to her small town roots and
- 15:55Speaker 1: and look at all the people in in the eye
- 15:57Speaker 1: that she left behind. And she's got to get back
- 15:59Speaker 1: to her roots and then eventually finds uh some new
- 16:02Speaker 1: guy to spit on and say Christmas.
- 16:05Speaker 9: See.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Remember she doesn't like to look people in the eye.
- 16:09Speaker 1: It's yeah, well then it'll then then the movie poster
- 16:13Speaker 1: will be her turning and looking back.
- 16:16Speaker 2: It'll be uh, learn new from Hallmark.
- 16:23Speaker 9: Okay, what about like the lady in uh in Thailand
- 16:27Speaker 9: or Sri Lanka that fell asleep and was swallowed by
- 16:31Speaker 9: a giant python.
- 16:35Speaker 2: I want this said.
- 16:36Speaker 1: I'm not throwing out this theory because I intentionally want
- 16:40Speaker 1: you guys to test it. I'm okay with it, but
- 16:42Speaker 1: I just want you to know. I just wanted to
- 16:44Speaker 1: share the theory. It's not like I was saying, challenge me.
- 16:47Speaker 1: But since you mentioned it, Raj, that one's easy.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Uh. It's not about the lady being swallowed by the snake.
- 16:54Speaker 1: It's about the widower that's left behind because now he's lonely. Yeah,
- 16:59Speaker 1: he's lonely, and he uh it's you know, his wife
- 17:02Speaker 1: just got swallowed up by a snake and and that happened,
- 17:06Speaker 1: and then he had a horrible It happened right around Christmas,
- 17:09Speaker 1: and he hasn't celebrated Christmas since. And then you fast
- 17:11Speaker 1: forward to a year later, and then some new woman
- 17:14Speaker 1: shows up who has not been swallowed by a snake,
- 17:16Speaker 1: and they fall in love and she helps not only
- 17:18Speaker 1: save Christmas but also him. You're candily good at this.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Are you auditioning for a new job? I'm if if
- 17:29Speaker 1: Hallmark wants to hire me as a story developer, I'm
- 17:31Speaker 1: all for it.
- 17:35Speaker 2: I think I think a lot of people would watch Swallowed.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Hole for Christmas, a collaboration with a Hallmark channel and
- 17:43Speaker 1: the Sci Fi Network, just.
- 17:46Speaker 9: To know if that was the name of the hawk
- 17:48Speaker 9: to a girl's movie.
- 17:52Speaker 2: For Christmas, not a girl sorry.
- 18:00Speaker 8: House business online at freehouseonair dot com.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Let's get Jacqueline from Brooks Plumbing into the treehouse now
- 18:16Speaker 1: for any and all of your plumbing wants and needs,
- 18:18Speaker 1: give her and all of them. They're a call to
- 18:21Speaker 1: one fourth three six eight thirty eight thirty eight the
- 18:23Speaker 1: website Brooks Plumbing Texas dot com. When I had my
- 18:26Speaker 1: house in Dallas, Jacqueline, you came out a few times
- 18:29Speaker 1: to help us with some issues and your response time
- 18:33Speaker 1: was phenomenal. And it wasn't just because it was me.
- 18:35Speaker 1: It was because that's the kind of company you run.
- 18:38Speaker 1: You go out of your way trying to help every
- 18:40Speaker 1: client and try to get there as soon as you can.
- 18:43Speaker 4: Well, I mean, the reality of it is is that
- 18:45Speaker 4: plumbing is unfortunately a need and not so much a want. Yes,
- 18:49Speaker 4: you can want to remodel the bathroom, and that's not pressing,
- 18:52Speaker 4: but typically when it comes to service or leak investigations,
- 18:56Speaker 4: et cetera, et cetera. If you've got to stoppage on
- 18:59Speaker 4: the main line and you don't know and you keep
- 19:02Speaker 4: putting liquid or you know, waste into the drains, if
- 19:08Speaker 4: it has nowhere to go, we'll come back in the house.
- 19:10Speaker 4: And at that point in time, it's no longer a want,
- 19:13Speaker 4: it's a need, and that sort of thing can't wait.
- 19:17Speaker 4: When you have those emergencies, you have got to figure
- 19:20Speaker 4: out how to manage the crew so that you can
- 19:23Speaker 4: have the best response time.

- 20:40Speaker 2: Deep deep, deep inside the Treehouse.
- 20:43Speaker 1: This is the Treehouse on a frid Day, Dan, Trey,
- 20:47Speaker 1: Raj and Jerry and I didn't intend to bring up
- 20:51Speaker 1: Taylor Swift in the In the previous segment, we were
- 20:53Speaker 1: talking about holiday films and stuff in relation to what
- 20:57Speaker 1: we're going to talk about here. It's just kind of
- 20:58Speaker 1: a happy accident. But I think it's important that we
- 21:04Speaker 1: talk about this just a little bit because there are
- 21:07Speaker 1: not a whole lot of really good examples in this
- 21:10Speaker 1: world right now of really good people, really good people
- 21:15Speaker 1: doing really good things. Most of the stuff we see
- 21:19Speaker 1: in here is bad, And in this case, one of
- 21:23Speaker 1: the really good people seems to be Taylor Swift.
- 21:27Speaker 2: I have learned over the last year.
- 21:29Speaker 1: That I'm I've kind of come out of the Swifty
- 21:32Speaker 1: closet a little bit.
- 21:33Speaker 2: I think she's I think she's a good dude.
- 21:37Speaker 1: I like I like a lot of her songs, and
- 21:39Speaker 1: what I like better than her songs is the fact
- 21:43Speaker 1: that she's actually a decent person as far as we
- 21:45Speaker 1: can tell. I don't know if she's got bodies buried somewhere,
- 21:47Speaker 1: but until that happens, she seems pretty cool. She just
- 21:51Speaker 1: ended her Eras tour, which is a two year long tour,
- 21:54Speaker 1: which is already astronomical, and it's brought in over two
- 22:00Speaker 1: billion dollars in ticket sales, So two billion dollars gross
- 22:05Speaker 1: for Taylor Swift and the Era's Tour, and they put
- 22:10Speaker 1: in the work, and she has rewarded all of the
- 22:14Speaker 1: people that have worked for her on this tour throughout
- 22:19Speaker 1: the tour, I think a year into it she had
- 22:22Speaker 1: given them a bunch of bonuses and things like that,
- 22:25Speaker 1: as far as all the people that worked on the
- 22:26Speaker 1: tour while she's done it again because now that the
- 22:29Speaker 1: tour has concluded, someone added up all the receipts and
- 22:36Speaker 1: it turns out Taylor Swift gave out one hundred and
- 22:39Speaker 1: ninety seven million dollars in bonuses to everyone working on
- 22:44Speaker 1: her Era's tour. That includes truck drivers, caterers, dancers, musicians,
- 22:49Speaker 1: all of it. And that doesn't include the charitable donations
- 22:54Speaker 1: she did in pretty much every city they visited along
- 22:57Speaker 1: the way. This is just the bonuses and stuff to
- 23:00Speaker 1: the people working for her directly on the tour. But yeah,
- 23:04Speaker 1: that includes truck drivers, caterers, instrument technicians, the merch team, lighting,
- 23:09Speaker 1: sound production staff, assistants, carpenters, dancers, band security, choreographers, pyrotechnics,
- 23:16Speaker 1: hair makeup, wardrobe, physical therapists, and the video team. In
- 23:22Speaker 1: twenty twenty three, she had given out fifty five million
- 23:25Speaker 1: bonuses and then most recently at the end of this tour.
- 23:30Speaker 1: They added it all up one hundred and ninety seven
- 23:32Speaker 1: million dollars. And I know a lot of people are
- 23:34Speaker 1: looking at it, especially here in red state Texas, and
- 23:37Speaker 1: she's looked for politics aside. Set the politics aside. By
- 23:46Speaker 1: all appearances, this is someone that's a good person who
- 23:49Speaker 1: has made a ton of money, made a ton of
- 23:51Speaker 1: money on this tour.
- 23:52Speaker 2: And what did she do.
- 23:53Speaker 1: She gave out bonuses on top of charity. Pays her
- 23:56Speaker 1: people pretty well, and she gives out these bonuses everything
- 24:00Speaker 1: on top of it. I just think that's kind of
- 24:01Speaker 1: a good person, and I think it should be a
- 24:03Speaker 1: plauted that's all.
- 24:03Speaker 2: That's all I wanted to say.
- 24:05Speaker 9: Yeah, she seems Yeah, she seems very.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Nice, and and and and again.
- 24:11Speaker 1: In a world where a lot of people are bad,
- 24:13Speaker 1: say bad things, do bad things, and don't give a
- 24:17Speaker 1: damn about anybody else, she's an entire economy saving machine, right.
- 24:25Speaker 1: It's kind of amazing. And then on top of that,
- 24:27Speaker 1: she's helping the actual people that worked on her tour.
- 24:30Speaker 1: I try to think of a lot of wealthy people
- 24:32Speaker 1: in the world right now, and I don't see headlines
- 24:34Speaker 1: about Elon Musk, you know, shell and out all sorts
- 24:37Speaker 1: of money for his employees.
- 24:39Speaker 2: Uh.
- 24:39Speaker 1: And that can be said for lots of companies.
- 24:43Speaker 3: Yeah, you see a lot of you see, rich people
- 24:45Speaker 3: do a lot of charitable giving, but very seldom is
- 24:48Speaker 3: it to the you know, Bill Bill Gates has a
- 24:53Speaker 3: foundation for.
- 24:58Speaker 7: All right.
- 25:01Speaker 3: Giving out you know, a bunch of people, you know
- 25:02Speaker 3: money to Microsoft. No, a lot of people work for
- 25:04Speaker 3: Microsoft made money. But I want to say Taylor Swift
- 25:08Speaker 3: gave basically gave most of the merchandise sales to her,
- 25:12Speaker 3: all the people that put the tour on. I mean,
- 25:15Speaker 3: outstandingly good person.
- 25:17Speaker 2: Her personal economy is larger than some countries in the world.
- 25:20Speaker 3: Mm hmm.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Yeah. I'm just kind of like, I'm not frozen or anything.
- 25:28Speaker 1: It's it really is kind of an astounding thing for
- 25:30Speaker 1: someone to reach a status like that and then still
- 25:35Speaker 1: want to actually, you know, help people with Like I said,
- 25:37Speaker 1: I think it's great, especially when you think about the
- 25:40Speaker 1: number of people when you're rich and successful, no matter
- 25:44Speaker 1: how big or how small, if you're successful at all
- 25:46Speaker 1: or have any sort of money, your detractors pile up.
- 25:50Speaker 1: This is true, ya, Taylor Swift, This is true if
- 25:52Speaker 1: you're Elon Musk. Bill Gates like you mentioned Trey or
- 25:55Speaker 1: any other number of people. When you have a lot
- 25:57Speaker 1: of money, a lot of us pleabs like to you
- 26:00Speaker 1: had to spend it. Uh and in this and in
- 26:04Speaker 1: this case, you know, it's.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Like girl, do whatever you want.
- 26:06Speaker 3: Yeah, you can be doing pretty good with and and
- 26:09Speaker 3: that's it's a hard life to put those tours on. Obvious,
- 26:11Speaker 3: it's been going on for two years. I think the
- 26:13Speaker 3: only other musician I've ever heard of really doing this
- 26:16Speaker 3: was Kenny Chesney on his tours. He he uh really
- 26:20Speaker 3: took care of the people that put it on. So
- 26:23Speaker 3: and and another person you seldom hear anything bad about.
- 26:26Speaker 1: The at the end of the tour. So keeping in
- 26:32Speaker 1: mind this was again, uh a two year tour. Second
- 26:36Speaker 1: place on the highest gracing on the highest grossing tour
- 26:40Speaker 1: was Elton John and he didn't even break a billion dollars.
- 26:44Speaker 1: It was like nine hundred something million that that that
- 26:46Speaker 1: he took in. So like she crushed that record, you know,
- 26:50Speaker 1: doubled it. That's incredible.
- 26:53Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 26:53Speaker 9: Garth Brooks was very similar to that too, like he
- 26:55Speaker 9: takes care of his people as well.
- 26:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:58Speaker 9: I think the last big tour that they did when
- 27:00Speaker 9: they got back from Ireland to whatever. Like he gifted
- 27:02Speaker 9: everybody brand new cars to the entire team, So that
- 27:07Speaker 9: was kind of he went to and he did it locally,
- 27:09Speaker 9: like he went to the in Stillwater or whatever wherever
- 27:12Speaker 9: he lives. He went to the actual local dealership and
- 27:15Speaker 9: then bought all the cars and then had them had
- 27:17Speaker 9: a big party, and then they all drove up at
- 27:19Speaker 9: the same time.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Which is did he did he cover the like the tax,
- 27:23Speaker 1: title and insurance on that, or did he pull an Opra.
- 27:25Speaker 2: And said you get a car, you get a car,
- 27:27Speaker 2: You get a car.
- 27:28Speaker 1: But then stuck them with, you know, all the additional
- 27:30Speaker 1: fees and stuff.
- 27:33Speaker 3: I think he might have.
- 27:34Speaker 9: I think he might have taken care of everything on
- 27:36Speaker 9: the way out the door.
- 27:37Speaker 1: I would imagine he would have. Of her Eras Tour,
- 27:41Speaker 1: Taylor Swift, it was after her one hundred and forty
- 27:44Speaker 1: ninth and final show, Wow. Ten million, one hundred and
- 27:50Speaker 1: sixty eight eight people attended the Eras Tour and it
- 27:54Speaker 1: sold two billion, seventy seven million, six hundred and eighteen
- 28:00Speaker 1: seven hundred and twenty five.
- 28:01Speaker 2: Dollars in total tickets, best selling.
- 28:04Speaker 9: So that's not even birch, No.
- 28:06Speaker 2: That's just right. That's just door wow. And I'm sorry.
- 28:09Speaker 1: And I hate to be one of those people that
- 28:11Speaker 1: looks at a famous, rich person and try to tell
- 28:13Speaker 1: them what to do with their life and their money.
- 28:14Speaker 1: But when I see it that it was her one
- 28:16Speaker 1: hundred and forty ninth and final show, I can't help
- 28:20Speaker 1: but think it's like, you couldn't do one fifty.
- 28:25Speaker 7: But that's me.
- 28:25Speaker 1: I'm anal. I want that nice round number. I can't
- 28:28Speaker 1: help Like if I was her, it would drive me crazy. Guy,
- 28:31Speaker 1: we can't do one hundred and forty nine. We have
- 28:33Speaker 1: to do one hundred and fifty. Otherwise it's just gonna
- 28:34Speaker 1: it make my skin crawl.
- 28:37Speaker 3: Oh OCD Taylor Swift.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Maybe that's why she's doing it. She knows that. You
- 28:46Speaker 2: know it's gonna make my skin crawl. You couldn't do
- 28:48Speaker 2: one fifty.
- 28:49Speaker 9: Yeah, and you'll never forget it either, Like you'll never
- 28:51Speaker 9: forget that number.
- 28:53Speaker 3: I won't.
- 28:54Speaker 2: I'll know. I'll know that number till the day I die.
- 28:57Speaker 2: You just gonna shake it off, and.
- 29:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna be like, I'm gonna be like Orson Wells
- 29:02Speaker 1: at in Citizen Kane on my deathbed.
- 29:09Speaker 2: She could have done anyway. Congratulations Taylors to If you're
- 29:16Speaker 2: a good Hyeah.

- 30:07Speaker 1: of fallen police officers and firefighters killed in a line
- 30:09Speaker 1: of duty in the DFW area, just like the foundation
- 30:13Speaker 1: did this week, or Tarot Police officer Jacob Candenosa, who
- 30:18Speaker 1: was killed in the line of duty Sunday night. On Wednesday,
- 30:23Speaker 1: the foundation was able to get a check into the
- 30:26Speaker 1: department's hands, which then into the hands of officer Candanos's
- 30:30Speaker 1: with us.
- 30:30Speaker 2: So if you'd like to.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Donate to that cause, please do so, and do so
- 30:35Speaker 1: in whatever amount you can. We appreciate it so that
- 30:37Speaker 1: way we can continue to not only issue checks on
- 30:42Speaker 1: your behalf to these families, but also doing so in
- 30:46Speaker 1: as much of an amount as possible. So the more
- 30:48Speaker 1: you donate, the more we can give, and the more
- 30:50Speaker 1: families we can help across DFW and maybe even you know,
- 30:53Speaker 1: stretching the boundary someday, but in order for us to
- 30:55Speaker 1: do it, we've got to have the money to do it.
- 30:57Speaker 1: Treehouse on air dot com. You can don't to the
- 31:00Speaker 1: foundation right in there, thank you very much. This is
- 31:03Speaker 1: the tree House, and it is, of course Friday. Raj
- 31:07Speaker 1: loves it. I love seeing Raj's face whenever I say Friday,
- 31:09Speaker 1: like that, Friday the thirteenth, twenty twenty four. Earlier this week,
- 31:14Speaker 1: there was some really big news that I just don't
- 31:15Speaker 1: have the brain capacity to understand.
- 31:18Speaker 2: And I don't know.
- 31:19Speaker 1: I think of all of us inside the treehouse right now.
- 31:22Speaker 1: My guess is that Trey might be able to help
- 31:25Speaker 1: us here, although stereotypically speaking, I should be asking Raj,
- 31:29Speaker 1: but he's unfortunately not helpful in this whatsoever. Google has
- 31:35Speaker 1: unveiled its quantum chip. A quantum chip, a computer chip
- 31:40Speaker 1: that solves ten billion year problems in minutes. I don't
- 31:46Speaker 1: even know what a ten billion year problem is. I
- 31:51Speaker 1: can't wrap my brain around that. I don't know, and
- 31:54Speaker 1: of course Raj is looking at me. Look, h Google
- 31:57Speaker 1: has unveiled its quantum chip. It's called Willow, capable of
- 32:01Speaker 1: completing a task in under five minutes that would take
- 32:04Speaker 1: a super computer up to ten septillion years.
- 32:07Speaker 2: I can't see, I don't know.
- 32:09Speaker 1: It features one hundred five cubits qub I T S.
- 32:16Speaker 2: That is the quantum equivalent of a regular computer bit
- 32:21Speaker 2: so one hundred and five cubits.
- 32:23Speaker 7: Is that?
- 32:24Speaker 2: Is that the little arcade character that hops up and
- 32:26Speaker 2: down the blox? No, that was Cubert cube Bert. Thank you, Trey,
- 32:30Speaker 2: appreciate that. You know who else thought that? RAJ? But
- 32:36Speaker 2: thank you.
- 32:37Speaker 9: I know I know everything that's being said right now.
- 32:40Speaker 9: I know I understand all of it.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Do you not at all? Thank you very much.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Yeah, one hundred five cubits and represents a breakthrough in
- 32:52Speaker 1: error production. I'm sorry, error reduction a major hurdle in
- 32:55Speaker 1: quantum computing. By adding more cubits and correcting errors in
- 33:00Speaker 1: real time, researchers achieved below threshold error rates, a milestone
- 33:05Speaker 1: in the field. Google's next goal is to perform a
- 33:09Speaker 1: real world computation beyond the reach of classical computers. The companies, oh,
- 33:13Speaker 1: does this mean we're getting metal computers. The company sees
- 33:20Speaker 1: quantum technology as key to advancing artificial intelligence, developing new medicines,
- 33:25Speaker 1: creating better ev batteries and accelerating clean energy solutions. It's
- 33:34Speaker 1: casable of solving problems in minutes that would take classical
- 33:37Speaker 1: supercomputers trillions of years to complete. Yes, all I know
- 33:41Speaker 1: is will it make me better at call of duty?
- 33:43Speaker 1: That's all I want to know.
- 33:46Speaker 3: My lafe time whip your ass.
- 33:50Speaker 9: Yeah, it would beat the game in seconds.
- 33:59Speaker 2: Well that's no fun, or you would have AI that
- 34:04Speaker 2: acted just like actual people.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Well I saw the other day that even in AI,
- 34:09Speaker 1: there's some other thing that was set up that from
- 34:11Speaker 1: a text prompt, an AI computer can design in a
- 34:17Speaker 1: matter of minutes an entire three D virtual world.
- 34:21Speaker 9: M yeah, this is how it starts.
- 34:27Speaker 2: How what started?
- 34:28Speaker 7: We go.
- 34:32Speaker 2: The AI takeover?
- 34:33Speaker 9: This is how we uh, this is how civilization ends.
- 34:39Speaker 1: It's gonna takeover. We're humans, We were going to do
- 34:42Speaker 1: that on our own anyway. All this does is just
- 34:45Speaker 1: accelerated a little bit.
- 34:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:49Speaker 9: But I mean instead of real people taking us over,
- 34:51Speaker 9: we're just gonna have the artificial intelligence. And then that's
- 34:56Speaker 9: when we become enslaved to the AI aready enslaved?
- 35:00Speaker 2: Have you seen people on their phones?
- 35:03Speaker 3: Mm hmm, yeah, Rogie, you're gonna be a matrix like
- 35:08Speaker 3: world where we're all just basically used for are you
- 35:11Speaker 3: know energy?
- 35:13Speaker 1: Yeah, we're just kept in gooey jelly pods for as
- 35:16Speaker 1: batteries for the UH, for our sentient AI overlords. Yes,
- 35:23Speaker 1: Irony is gonna be in that is they're gonna show
- 35:24Speaker 1: Matrix all the Matrix movies.
- 35:27Speaker 2: On repeat.
- 35:32Speaker 9: Than one Hallmark movie.
- 35:33Speaker 1: For Dan, it'll be a Matrix Christmas.
- 35:44Speaker 2: I don't want that one.
- 35:45Speaker 7: Right now, you're in the tree House.
- 35:55Speaker 8: Visit us online at Treehouse on Air dot com.
- 36:13Speaker 7: You're in the Treehouse.
- 36:16Speaker 8: Visit us online at Treehouseonair dot com.
- 36:20Speaker 1: Don't forget to give us a follow on social media
- 36:22Speaker 1: as well. It's at Treehouse on Air. That's at Treehouse
- 36:26Speaker 1: on Air. Always fun things going on on our social
- 36:30Speaker 1: media channels at Treehouse on Air. Back inside the Treehouse now, Dan, Trey,
- 36:35Speaker 1: Raj and Jerry coming off the very deep, deep discussion
- 36:39Speaker 1: about quantum computing that I understood none of. But thankfully
- 36:43Speaker 1: Jerry you were during that break giving us a little
- 36:46Speaker 1: more information and context about how huge this quantum computer
- 36:53Speaker 1: chip from Google is.
- 36:56Speaker 2: Right, it's it's like the difference between technology pre and
- 37:00Speaker 2: post the nuclear age. You know, we figured out how
- 37:03Speaker 2: to split the ad and it's like, great, there's all
- 37:05Speaker 2: these wonderful things that you can do if you understand
- 37:08Speaker 2: enough physics to be able to split an atom, and
- 37:10Speaker 2: think of all the wonderful things we can do. Boom,
- 37:12Speaker 2: we make a bomb. You know, so we came so
- 37:15Speaker 2: close to killing ourselves with it, and we're still kind
- 37:20Speaker 2: of on the precipice of that. And the quantum computing
- 37:23Speaker 2: chip is the same sort of a thing for computing.
- 37:27Speaker 2: It's it's it just it goes so far forward with
- 37:33Speaker 2: new technology and new uses and new things that open
- 37:38Speaker 2: up to us. It's like, are we ready for it yet?
- 37:40Speaker 3: You know?
- 37:42Speaker 2: With go ahead?
- 37:44Speaker 3: Well, classic computer is zero's and ones, like you always
- 37:49Speaker 3: remember that a cubit can be both, so it's zero,
- 37:52Speaker 3: one or both. So it quantumly ex it makes it
- 38:02Speaker 3: increases with what it can do. I forgot what the percentages.
- 38:06Speaker 2: But exponentially.
- 38:08Speaker 1: Yeah, see no pun intended. I really don't mean it.
- 38:13Speaker 1: This is just I'm being honest here. My brain can't
- 38:15Speaker 1: process that, Like I can't process that those numbers into
- 38:20Speaker 1: that realm.
- 38:21Speaker 2: I just can't.
- 38:21Speaker 1: Like, well, the only thing I understand when I hear
- 38:24Speaker 1: the word quantum is in relation to the Marvel movies,
- 38:27Speaker 1: and even then I don't necessarily understand how they were
- 38:29Speaker 1: able to use the quantum realm and go back and
- 38:31Speaker 1: kill Thanos and change stuff. I get it in the
- 38:33Speaker 1: context of the films because it time worked differently, But
- 38:36Speaker 1: that's all I got. If it's in a comic movie,
- 38:39Speaker 1: I kind of understand it. In the real world, I
- 38:42Speaker 1: have no effing clue how to properly comprehend or understand
- 38:47Speaker 1: what it all means and what it could actually do.
- 38:48Speaker 3: I'm so disappointed in you, becau Scott Bacula would have
- 38:51Speaker 3: been a much better punchline.
- 38:53Speaker 9: That's what I was gonna do.
- 38:54Speaker 2: I was going for that one as well, son of
- 38:59Speaker 2: a bit. How could I not make the leap to
- 39:05Speaker 2: quantum leap? Yeah?
- 39:15Speaker 7: I was.
- 39:15Speaker 9: That was my that was gonna be How did you
- 39:18Speaker 9: miss that one? That was the easiest one.
- 39:26Speaker 2: Me. I'm gonna be pissed about that. Oh God, that weekend.
- 39:33Speaker 3: That doesn't understand.
- 39:34Speaker 2: I don't understand quantum anything.
- 39:36Speaker 1: I didn't even get a good quantum leaps got Bacula reference.
- 39:40Speaker 1: I'll just stick with things I know, like birthdays. Let
- 39:47Speaker 1: me pull up birthdays here real quick, all right? Today
- 39:49Speaker 1: is fred Day, December thirteenth, twenty twenty four. This was
- 39:53Speaker 1: not planned. I swear to God this I did Taylor.
- 39:58Speaker 1: Taylor Swift is thirty five today. I was not intentional.
- 40:03Speaker 1: I had no idea. I never Trey knows this. I
- 40:06Speaker 1: never Jerry knows this as well. I never look at
- 40:08Speaker 1: birthdays before I actually do it. But Taylor Swift is
- 40:11Speaker 1: thirty five today. Catherine Schwarzenegger turns thirty five as well.
- 40:17Speaker 2: Not only is.
- 40:18Speaker 1: She the daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shreiver, but
- 40:22Speaker 1: she's also married to Chris Pratt. She is thirty five today.
- 40:26Speaker 1: Evan Essence lead singer Amy Lee is forty three. Big
- 40:30Speaker 1: fan of her in the Evanescence. Tom DeLong from Blink
- 40:34Speaker 1: twin eighty two is forty nine. He's also really big
- 40:37Speaker 1: into UFOs, and it turns out that well he may
- 40:40Speaker 1: be right based on some of the news that we've
- 40:43Speaker 1: seen recently. Who would have thought that the guy from
- 40:46Speaker 1: Blank Gwin eighty two is going to be at the
- 40:48Speaker 1: forefront of well uncovering the truth behind aliens. Jamie Fox
- 40:54Speaker 1: turns fifty seven today, and he almost didn't make it
- 40:58Speaker 1: because news has finally come out I think just a
- 41:00Speaker 1: couple of days ago that last year or earlier this year,
- 41:04Speaker 1: he had a brain believe that led to a stroke
- 41:07Speaker 1: and that was whatever health issue he was having that.
- 41:12Speaker 1: You know, he was just you know, we didn't hear
- 41:14Speaker 1: anything from him from a long time. It's because he
- 41:16Speaker 1: almost died, but he didn't.
- 41:19Speaker 2: He made it. He made it to fifty seven, So
- 41:21Speaker 2: good on him.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Yeah, now that we're incorporating some new fun bumpers back
- 41:28Speaker 1: into the show, here's one that we need to do.
- 41:29Speaker 2: Morris Day is sixty seven. You got to get some
- 41:31Speaker 2: jungle love back on the show. Oh yeah, love me
- 41:34Speaker 2: somemorrist Day in the time. No, you got to say
- 41:37Speaker 2: it right. You got to say it right. It's Morris
- 41:39Speaker 2: Day and the Mother Time. That's right.
- 41:44Speaker 1: Steve Bishimi is sixty seven from a Ton of Fun,
- 41:49Speaker 1: Ton of Fun films. The singer for Alabama turns seventy five.
- 41:54Speaker 1: Randy Owens Randy Owen singular. Apparently he is seventy five today, Randy.
- 42:02Speaker 3: And by the way, if you really want to put
- 42:04Speaker 3: a nice little bit tie everything in y you're talking
- 42:06Speaker 3: about Blink one, A two and UFOs. Allegedly, NASA shut
- 42:11Speaker 3: down their quantum computer because they were afraid it had
- 42:13Speaker 3: made tell and made contact with an alien or you know,
- 42:18Speaker 3: another intelligence.
- 42:20Speaker 1: So an alien ring the doorbell and we turned off
- 42:23Speaker 1: the lights and hit on the floor.
- 42:26Speaker 2: Like they sent a text message, we goes to the aliens.
- 42:33Speaker 2: M Forest theory.
- 42:36Speaker 1: It's a no we we we ding dong ditched the aliens.
- 42:43Speaker 2: That's kind of rude.
- 42:48Speaker 9: Treated the aliens like Jehovah's witnesses.
- 43:00Speaker 7: You're in this US online a treehouse on hair.
- 43:05Speaker 2: Do my look, it's aliens. Wait, they got Watchtower magazines.
- 43:10Speaker 2: Get on the floor.
- 43:27Speaker 7: You're in the tree house.
- 43:29Speaker 8: This is U is online at treehouse on air dot com.
- 43:47Speaker 1: All right, you're telling me NASA was afraid of of
- 43:50Speaker 1: the aliens and that's why they shut off their quantum computer.
- 43:55Speaker 3: They were afraid that it had had it, it was
- 43:59Speaker 3: in touch with an alien intelligence and it could affect things.
- 44:05Speaker 3: It was there. It was hypothetical or.
- 44:09Speaker 2: Hold on, okay, continue.
- 44:17Speaker 3: I don't remember the full story, but I want to
- 44:19Speaker 3: say they were encountering some kind of anomaly in one
- 44:22Speaker 3: of someone said what if and they went, oh crap,
- 44:26Speaker 3: and that's started off. Turn that thing off or a.
- 44:30Speaker 1: Bit right, like okay, I understand, Like if it was me,
- 44:35Speaker 1: I would probably turn that thing off. We're talking about NASA.
- 44:37Speaker 1: They're not supposed to be a bunch of pussy's. They're
- 44:39Speaker 1: supposed to be like explo explorers. I mean, I mean
- 44:43Speaker 1: when when the when uh Columbus and all the explorers
- 44:49Speaker 1: that explored the New World, they didn't turn the ship
- 44:52Speaker 1: around when when they saw Indians they go like, hey,
- 44:55Speaker 1: let's go talk to them and kill them. Of course,
- 44:58Speaker 1: then again, what if we were the native and the
- 45:01Speaker 1: all right, maybe it doesn't make sense exactly.
- 45:04Speaker 2: We just started, you know, quantum computers and just started
- 45:07Speaker 2: getting into that technology. And here you've got aliens out there.
- 45:10Speaker 2: They're like, isn't that cute? My kindergartener made one of
- 45:12Speaker 2: those with a radio check project board.
- 45:14Speaker 1: Oh god, where the macaroni art? Of the of the
- 45:17Speaker 1: Solar system, it's right, you know.
- 45:21Speaker 3: Let's even say, what's the saddest part is the one
- 45:25Speaker 3: thing that has gone farther and lasted longer was a
- 45:29Speaker 3: technology we put together fifty years ago and voyager that's
- 45:33Speaker 3: still somehow going and sending back you know, basic radio communications.
- 45:38Speaker 1: Right, Well, you know what that's back when we built
- 45:42Speaker 1: stuff to last now now, we don't build stuff to
- 45:47Speaker 1: last anymore because you want to make sure that you're
- 45:49Speaker 1: forced to get a new phone before the contract end.
- 45:51Speaker 1: So you're you're so you're you're in servitude in perpetuity
- 45:56Speaker 1: to the cell phone companies. Although, now that I think
- 46:00Speaker 1: about it, Earth being the Macaroni Art of the universe
- 46:04Speaker 1: is not exactly a you know, slam because it may
- 46:09Speaker 1: be kind of accurate. So maybe NASA's right to turn
- 46:13Speaker 1: off the quantum computer if they think they actually talked
- 46:15Speaker 1: or made contact with an alien force, alien population, whatever,
- 46:22Speaker 1: because we probably can't handle it.
- 46:25Speaker 2: That's right. There's a reason why they don't land here,
- 46:27Speaker 2: and it's probably because they're afraid we're gonna like stop
- 46:29Speaker 2: them and ask him for change or something.
- 46:31Speaker 1: Because we're the butt toothed locals on the side of
- 46:34Speaker 1: the road.
- 46:34Speaker 3: That's why we're the Florida of the universe.
- 46:40Speaker 2: That one.
- 46:40Speaker 9: So we're not even we're not even the macaroni arc
- 46:43Speaker 9: or the or the kid that eats the glue.
- 46:46Speaker 1: We're the kid that's eating the macaroni off the art.
- 46:51Speaker 1: Although to be fair, you know what, maybe NASA was right,
- 46:54Speaker 1: Maybe they were Maybe it's better off that they do
- 46:56Speaker 1: shut that thing off, and we don't make actual contact
- 46:59Speaker 1: with with an a you know, civilization, because not only
- 47:03Speaker 1: we may not be able to handle it mentally, emotionally, spiritually,
- 47:08Speaker 1: all those things, physically maybe even, but I mean, we
- 47:14Speaker 1: are kind of the idiots of the universe.
- 47:16Speaker 2: I'm as am.
- 47:17Speaker 1: I I'm assuming that that's going to be true. But
- 47:20Speaker 1: when I see headlines like this, I think it's very
- 47:23Speaker 1: accurate because Oregon is trying to find a vandal and
- 47:28Speaker 1: stop him. You know why, because there's a vandal running
- 47:32Speaker 1: around putting googly eyes on everything, and the entire state
- 47:35Speaker 1: of Oregon doesn't want that. And I'm over here saying,
- 47:39Speaker 1: put the googly eyes on everything.
- 47:42Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I think that's hysterical.
- 47:44Speaker 1: You know, it'd be great put some googly eyes on
- 47:46Speaker 1: the front end of a space shuttle and send that
- 47:48Speaker 1: bitch to Mars, so that way the entire universe knows
- 47:52Speaker 1: what they're dealing.
- 47:52Speaker 9: But that's when the aliens just look out and go
- 47:58Speaker 9: something from Oregon just lit.
- 48:06Speaker 1: I mean, I actually think googly eyes on everything would
- 48:09Speaker 1: make everything better. You can just put two big googly
- 48:13Speaker 1: eyes on the planet.
- 48:17Speaker 3: At least give him a heads up of what they're
- 48:18Speaker 3: about to get into.
- 48:23Speaker 1: Let there'd be no doubt about what you're gonna find
- 48:25Speaker 1: on this planet. But just slack job Earthlings for everything Treehouse,
- 48:34Speaker 1: go to Treehouse on Air dot com. That should be
