[guitar music] [laughs] So I played the end of that.
• 0:14
[laughs] Uh, Chewy's Lawn Chair number 28. We actually have something else to talk about maybe. Are you done fucking around with that thing? Oh, no, I... Every...
• 0:22
I sat here all day today and worked really hard and had this all figured out, and I have no idea who came in here. Clark, that son of a bitch- Oh, it was just Clark again...
• 0:30
came in here and played with the buttons again. That's why it keeps on hiding out from me. Yeah.
• 0:33
We got the, we have this set up [laughs] in the, in the, in the shop now, and I'm still playing with this new podcaster because I'm trying to get our music on here.
• 0:40
And every time I think I have it right, I fuck it up, so that's all right. So anyway, podcast number 28.
• 0:46
Uh, we're kind of somewhat calling this the rebuttal one because we've been listening to the last two Full Spectrum cycles, and those guys are so full of shit. Like, I don't even think they even...
• 0:57
I, I'm, I'm starting to question whether they even ride bicycles. Whoa. I mean, we know Tony doesn't. If it has a motor on it, it's not a bicycle. That's fair. So Tony's out. He still probably rides more than I do.
• 1:11
[laughs] Well, there's that possibility. [laughs] Oh, yeah. Uh, today it's, it's, uh, Kayla and Bergie and myself are here today. And, uh, um, Bergie and I just got done with, uh, our first U15 practice. That was...
• 1:27
Went awesomely. Yeah, you didn't give your speech yet. I didn't have to. They actually skated. Yeah. I don't know if they... Maybe, maybe the word is out. They know about you? That if... Yeah, they don't...
• 1:35
If they don't get out there and skate hard to start with, I'm gonna chew their asses out. Look out for the cranky old fucker. [laughs] Or they're just used to me.
• 1:43
I did, I did call one out that her boyfriend bought her a cheap piece of jewelry 'cause it was laying out on the ice. She goes, "Don't you tell my dad." [laughs] Oh. She's like, "He did actually buy that for me."
• 1:53
[laughs] Fortunately, neither her or her dad will listen to this, so we're good. Her dad is the head coach. I know. [laughs] I wasn't gonna bring that up. [laughs] But yeah. [laughs] So anyway, um, yeah.
• 2:04
So anyway, back to what we were talking about. Um, the, uh, the Full Spectrum boys are bringing up topics. I mean, the topics are good. I mean, um, you know, and those guys have always been into... Our...
• 2:14
You guys probably don't know this, but our background to getting together really with everything was through cycling, but also a big part of doing the podcast part of it came through, um, Fatbike.com and, and more talk about fat biking than anything else.
• 2:26
You could try it. You could try it. You can have some of her beer. It looked good. We should- It's not beer. What is it? It's okay. Should we talk about all the drinks that we're drinking tonight?
• 2:33
No, w- okay, let's get... Like I said, this part's today we get to drinks. [laughs] 'Cause we have a lot. Yeah. Great.
• 2:38
Um, so anyway, so Fatbiking.com, so fat biking is becoming a question, and those guys talked about how they were questioning whether Trek was gonna, um, keep making... Which one is their fat bike? The Trek.
• 2:53
Oh, uh, the- Farley? Farley. Farley, yeah. And then, you know, and Specialized has already stopped making theirs. Fat bike, uh, or the Fat Boys, they stopped making in 2019. Yeah, something like that. Yeah.
• 3:03
So I mean, i- you know, and is it a dying fad? Well, I'm sure it's a dying fad, but it's also... It is... Without a doubt it's a niche, you know? And it's a- Yeah... for us it's not a niche.
• 3:11
It's what you and I do all the time. Um, so it's not that big of a deal. But, but they were kinda going on about that.
• 3:17
They were talking about the Wars series, which is a Wisconsin off-road point series for mountain bike racing, and they were brought up that. Um, so I'll ask you first, would you, with your fat bike and your single speed,
• 3:30
would you be upset if they took away the classes for those bikes in particular? No, 'cause you pick your bike based off of how you wanna perform in the race. Right, that's...
• 3:39
And, and, and before they, b- when they first came out with those bikes, that's how we thought about it, too. It's like, um, riding a single speed is my choice. I don't want another class for just me and my
• 3:51
eight, 10 friends that are riding single speed bikes. It, it was just, it's our choice of what we wanna ride. And I, and I put fat bikes in the same category.
• 3:57
I don't, I don't need a separate category to ride my fat bike in a race. If I wanna race my fat bike, I'll figure out how to make it nice and light and really fast, and then... and, and maybe it'll have gears, you know?
• 4:10
And to me, I take more pride in if I'm in a fat bike and I'm still passing people, like it's just kind of a one-up on them. But I, if I win first place in a single speed- [laughs]...
• 4:20
like, there's probably three other people that are riding, so it's not really that big of a win. Right. And, and I mean, and you can, you can take it either way. I, I... Personally I think from putting on races for
• 4:33
20 years maybe, 15 years for sure- God, you're fucking old. I know it. [laughs] 'Cause you're just thinking it's been 20 years probably since I...
• 4:39
N- nothing I would do that long, but it's been at least 10 years since I put on a race. I mean, that, uh, a certified race, you know? Not just Single Speed USA or Worlds or anything silly like that. But, um,
• 4:50
and I can see the, I can see the, the promoter's point. Great, another fucking class that I have to buy trophies and ribbons- Yeah... and figure out time for, and add another category to.
• 5:00
It's probably easier now with chips and stuff to keep track of those individual riders and make categories out of them.
• 5:04
Back then it was all done in pencil and paper, and then we made up our own programs to run it, so it's just something else for somebody else that's not getting paid anything to go fucking have to handle. So it was...
• 5:14
I mean, I don't know what they even do for prizes anymore. I think you just get a ribbon.
• 5:17
Where we used to give out prizes, so that was another category that you had more prizes for, which means you're knocking on more doors and everything. So I, I, as a promoter, I, I hated all the extra categories.
• 5:28
Well, I, I think there's something- Yeah, that's a big argument there... I think there's something to be said, too, about, you know, you still see more and more fat bike
• 5:36
either lines or companies dropping off, like we were just talking about Framed- Yeah... the other day, you know? Yeah. They're gone. You know, and, and, you know, for, like, the casual riders, you know, I think
• 5:49
it wa- it is a niche market, and I was kinda surprised to see Frame as, like, Framed as a company go away because they kinda had that entry level fat bike sector covered. But, like, I really want a fat bike.
• 6:04
And, you know, you start shopping for them and it's like price point- I was just shopping, I was just looking at them before we got here, and like you can't get a fat bike under 1,200 now.
• 6:13
No, and I think- Even a used one... and I think for like a- Yeah, yeah...
• 6:15
it, and that's probably more to the point that it was kind of a, I don't want to use the term gimmicky, but it was kind of more of a fad, because you could buy a Framed for, gosh, I don't, they were well under 1,000 for a while.
• 6:29
I don't know if that was- Yeah, like even their top of the line one I think was like 900. But I remember seeing a- One... a ton of those. But now, like if you wanna buy like a nice fat bike, I mean you're 1,500 bucks
• 6:42
just for the bike, right? Yep. Before you do anything to it. You know, if you want to accessorize it or whatever the, whatever the hell you guys do with those things. We established that shit already? Oh.
• 6:51
No, we're not- No, we're not, we're not- Can we save the bicycles first? Yeah, but I, but- Yeah... so when Framed first came out, they had, was it the Alaskan? Was that the first one?
• 7:00
Or it was a 1.0 or whatever the fuck it was. I don't remember. I'm sorry. I d- I, I rode one, it was one that, it was a really good deal. I want to say it was
• 7:09
just over or just under $1,000 and you got a set of 29er wheels with it. Remember that? Yeah. Vaguely. You probably wouldn't, well, you might have been involved with it by then. You probably didn't know about that.
• 7:18
But, and, and you know, I, I had some friends in town here that bought them. That was their first fat bike, and basically for the same thing you're saying.
• 7:24
They're either not that into it and thinking they want to get into it. This was a good way to get two bikes, with the 29er wheels and the 26 by 3s, or the 26 by 4s, excuse me.
• 7:35
So I mean, it was, it was, but they handled, I don't, I don't remember how they handled with the fat tires on them. Mm-hmm. But the 29er wheels on there they handled like shit.
• 7:44
So I mean, I, I remember Keegan, he had a 2.0. Yep, so that'd be the next- Yep... which I'm assuming they adjusted the frame geometry to make it- And he had the first version of that.
• 7:56
I don't know if that was the first version that came out, but it got stolen from the bike rack at Mayo. But- So somebody did him a favor. Yep. So then- [laughs]...
• 8:05
he was, he had insurance on it, was able to get his 2.0, but he said the, you know, the thing that attracted him to it was the price, and then he did mention that, uh, it came with a second set of wheels, and he was
• 8:23
under 1,000 bucks. Yeah. And I, I, that, that's what I thought it was under 1,000. I mean, and it's, it gets you out there, it gets you out on the trails. It's mostly for the average rider.
• 8:30
The handling was not that big a deal. I, I just, I don't remember, I haven't rode one for so long, I don't remember what, what, what part of it handled wrong.
• 8:39
It was the steering or, or, I don't, I don't remember what it was. It was- I thought I read head tube angle and geometry was weird. That could be it, yeah. But he solely bought his for commuting in the winter.
• 8:52
And then see, then they came out- That was it... with the plastic one, which was like the very cheapest way to get into a plastic bike. You know, with the, I don't even what the hell that was. Um, Dave Weber had one.
• 9:01
I sold it f- in fact, I just, I sold his for him, and it was beat to hell. It was a, it was a Dave Weber fuckup.
• 9:07
You know, he gets a nice bike and he, I don't remember what all goofy shit he did to it, but it, you know, he reads a article and then slams the head tube and blah blah blah and it's, doesn't ride worth shit.
• 9:17
But I sold that for 600 bucks, and it was, like seriously it was kind of a piece of crap the way he, he, when I got ahold of it. Mm-hmm. Like I don't think the tires held air.
• 9:25
Oh yeah, he tried to go, he tried to go tubeless and it didn't work, so he had tubes back in it, and then you got all that gum on the inside and, you know. Tubes on a fat bike? I have tubes on my fat bike.
• 9:35
What happens when you get a flat on that? What happens when you burp your tire? You have to put a tube in. You have to reseal it and spin around. It's disgusting.
• 9:42
Just put, you can't, you can't be out in the middle of the woods and put, and reseal it with a tire pump. There's nothing wrong with hike-a-biking. [laughs] Sometimes you gotta do that.
• 9:51
I was gonna say, I know yours has tubes. How about, how about just put a tube in it? How about just ride a tube in it from start? It's already annoying. Oh, we're gonna go to this again?
• 9:58
Why, do you wanna lose another pound and a half? Just go take a shit. Could be. You might have that big, your ears are t- [laughs] Like maybe that'll work for you. I'm sorry. I get carried away.
• 10:08
[laughs] No, I, I, I still don't ride tubeless. I d- I seriously think if I lived in the desert,
• 10:19
I might consider it, 'cause it's much easier to slime the inside of a tube with a tubeless than it is to slime a tube and then put that in your bike, you know, for cactus and that kind of stuff.
• 10:28
So I, I might consider it then, but around here, put a tube in your bike for Christ sake. It's, you don't gain that much in weight. I just- It's not a weight factor. I mean- Oh, that's what, that's what they all say.
• 10:38
Well- Yeah... it's, it, it's not a weight factor. What it is, you can run lower tire pressure- Yeah... without it pinching, so that's where it comes in for s- a lot of reasons. I've just never,
• 10:49
ever even like, it's always been tubes. But- Right... like I said, it's, the newer stuff, you know, is different. It's just always been tubes. For you, yeah. Yeah.
• 11:00
Well, I don't e- I, I do- You always had a tube in the fucking saddlebag or in the backpack and- I, well, yeah... a patch kit.
• 11:07
And I, and I know when guys first started doing tubeless tires, that's what they all had to do too, is they all carried a tube with them because if they're riding off camber or the tire pressure was low, you couldn't pump that tire back up.
• 11:17
Once it popped a seal- Yeah... you couldn't get it pumped up by hand with a hand pump or a CO2 cartridge unless you had like 10 of them. So everybody just carried a tube. And I'm like, "Well, that's stupid.
• 11:27
The weight of the tube is in your back pocket now instead of on the wheel." [laughs] Who gives a shit? There goes your weight reduction.
• 11:31
[laughs] Yeah, so it's just like, put a fucking tube in it and be done with it, but- But the bike is lighter. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I don't go tubeless to make my bike lighter.
• 11:39
I just, everybody's got the boner of putting their bike on a scale, so. Yeah, I do that a lot. It's fucking 24 pounds. Eh. Yeah, there was talk about that too.
• 11:48
Um, crap, I can't remember who called into those guys and his, his fat bike was 24 pounds less. 24 pounds, yep.
• 11:55
So that's, that is pretty- I was trying to find out how heavy my Fat Boy is, 'cause that's pretty- That's one of the lighter ones, yeah. Yeah. That one's super light. But again, it's a plastic frame with plastic wheels.
• 12:05
Cart- yeah We wanna get on the carbon debate again. We can. It's been a while. I'm still right. [laughs] I don't even wanna hear it.
• 12:15
Oh, you're- Like, you- The- You bitching about carbon is like nails on a fucking chalkboard. [laughs] Like, Jesus, did you just fucking die on that hill already? For Christ's sake. That's why he's mad about it. Yeah.
• 12:27
So I- 'Cause I got up the hill faster. [laughs] He's over here with his fucking steel frame like, "God, fuck carbon, you cheater." [laughs] Yep. Which could we...
• 12:39
So we can just jump to that quick and get back to where we're at. It's fine. Okay. We... I just had to shoot it, you know, 'cause you know me, I, I don't mind any... I don't mind the old steel shit. I don't...
• 12:48
You know, like, they brought up the aluminum stuff, too. Yeah. And, and, and, and Tony's- And- And Tony's the one doing the most bitching, and the fucking guy rides an e-bike. What does it matter what it's made out of?
• 12:58
Right. Yeah. Everything... I don't know. I suppose I can go, you can get an extra five miles out of an aluminum or a carbon frame over a steel frame, 'cause it's- Yeah... lighter.
• 13:11
Well, and they were talking about- Otherwise, what would be the reason? Well, they were talking about Trek's new fat bike, I thought, though. Well, they're- Being aluminum frame and how that was- Yeah...
• 13:19
like, innovative is what they made it sound like, and I know that's not where it was coming from, but- No, I don't think so... aluminum frames have been- It's not innovative... I, yeah.
• 13:26
No, because aluminum- Aluminum's been around forever... has been around forever. Yeah. Yeah. And, and, and, and all of our- But, uh-... BMX bikes, our racing bikes- But, uh-... they're all aluminum.
• 13:32
But truthfully, a, a, an al... I don't know. I haven't done, I haven't checked them out, but years ago, a well-made aluminum frame that could withstand, like, say, a good mountain bike race, racing season,
• 13:44
and a lightweight steel frame were just about the same weight. Right. They- 'Cause- They handle differently. Yeah...
• 13:49
you know, because you can make this, you can make that aluminum steep or stiffer, so, but then when you make it stiffer, it's a harsher ride, so then, then you have suspension.
• 13:57
Now you just added [laughs] five more pounds to the weight of your bike. I don't know. Well, that's just like some aluminum is just as light as a carbon bike. Right. Well, yeah, that's...
• 14:06
I mean, and then there's, and then especially up around here, there's disadvantages of having aluminum because out in the cold and the, and the snow and the i- salt and stuff, everything oxidizes, and that's kind of a pain in the ass.
• 14:16
Like, I- Yeah Yeah... I've, my, my Pugsley wheels have all gotta be rebuilt. They're just trash right now. Oh.
• 14:21
I'm very good at just riding something and throwing it in the garage and finding something else to ride so things don't get taken here over the winter. [laughs] It's not like you have- No...
• 14:28
any limited amount of bikes back there. Oh. No, it's actually- It's like next thing you know, like, every bike has a flat because- [laughs]... he got a flat on one and he just grabbed another.
• 14:37
Uh, my, my, the neighbor next door down, Drew, the guy that lives down in Decorah- Mm-hmm... next door to us, uh, that's what he's actually done. He had his, he had his, his
• 14:47
drop bar bike, it's kind of a gravel bike, but he has his drop bar bike out, and all of a sudden I look in the backyard and, and his, or, 'cause it, he's just on the back side of us, and there's his older Trek out there.
• 14:57
And I'm like, "Why is he riding that?" I go there. His other one's got a flat front tire, so. [laughs] I take it when I'm going, I'll take a tube down with me when I go the next time and I'll have to change the tire.
• 15:06
Yep. Not that it- Sounds like something I'd do... text him and say- Yeah... text him and say, "Drew, your tire's changed." And I'll look at there, next time down in the garage, the bikes will be swapped again.
• 15:13
[laughs] I let, I let him keep whatever bike he's not riding in our garage. There's no reason for him to leave it out in the chain to the- Does he not have a garage or? No.
• 15:21
It's chain, it's chained to the, it's chained to the, the steps back behind us back there. Oh, gotcha. So that gives him an excuse. I'll go down Wednesday, change the flat, go have a beer. There you go. Talk shit.
• 15:37
It's kinda- You think for once we'd, could ever stay on topic? We were. What were we talking about? We just did. Were we still on topic? We, we- Yeah... covered it. Aluminum versus- Yeah... steel.
• 15:44
Doesn't really matter if you're riding an e-bike. Right. End of story. [laughs] Yeah. And fat bikes are not dying. I don't know. They, they, they may be- Well-... they may be wounded. [laughs] I think it's more of the,
• 15:56
it's probably just these companies weeding through the, the fad bikers versus the, the actual people that ride, you know?
• 16:04
And that will spend the- Well, they're just trying to, like, eliminate all the, like, extra builds. Right. They're trying to make it less- Oh, I don't blame them... practice of like- Yeah Well, and I think-...
• 16:11
if you really only have a demographic in Minnesota, why are we building all these bikes? Well, r- so we had a g- I would say this winter for fat biking was probably one of the best we've had in- Mm...
• 16:23
five years, let's say. Last winter was probably better. This year was super icy. Well, that's true, but I mean, as far as hard pack and being able to ride it, it was good. Yeah. So [clears throat]
• 16:33
you didn't hear of any stores in Rochester running out of fat bikes, did ya? Not since COVID.
• 16:38
Yeah, I mean, I mean, I'm, I'm, I'm thinking, I'm thinking that sort of like the long lines of cargo bikes, they've, everybody that's wants one, has one now.
• 16:46
There, there i- there is a limit to how many you're gonna sell. You can talk any idiot into buying a gravel bike and then buying a road bike. Yep. But a fat bike has a, a specific purpose.
• 16:55
Whether it's on a beach or if it's on snow- Yeah... it has a specific purpose. Well, and I think there's also that, you know, COVID did a ton for bike sales.
• 17:04
I think we've talked about that in the past, where, you know, people couldn't do anything, so they were buying bikes- Mm-hmm... and riding.
• 17:11
And even if that person who bought during COVID, you know, they bought that bike, and they not, they may not be like you guys where you have a, you know, a stable where it's like I've got my road bike and I've got my fat bike, and I'm gonna ride those until it either breaks or I die.
• 17:30
So I think that maybe some of those companies, I don't know, if they were thinking like, "Hey, you know, sales have been really good.
• 17:38
Let's make more," and n- you know, now they're sitting on extras and they're not selling them. Yeah. It's just weird, like it- I mean-... it blew up for a while...
• 17:46
that's where Full Sp- S- Fu- Full Spectrum Cycling was at. They, he had- But you don't s- I don't, I mean- What's the dude's name that makes his bikes- You don't see a lot of-... the frames th- that he buys from the guy.
• 17:55
It's over there. I can't think of the name. I'm, I'm gonna get in trouble for this. He'll, he'll correct me, but, um, he actually asked me if I wanted to buy some of his bikes. Sure.
• 18:01
Thinking that we would sell more of them here than we would, than we, than there, 'cause he's not selling any because they got, Milwaukee didn't have any snow this year. Yeah. They got some now, but even- Mm...
• 18:09
I think it's gone already. So I mean, they've had, like, very little snow, and I don't know if the water's been too high. They haven't been able to ride the beaches, but so they just, he hasn't sold any.
• 18:18
I, I mean, I, I haven't cruised around in a ton of places, but I don't, it's, it's not like- You don't see a ton of them for sale used either. No, no. Well- You know?
• 18:28
So I think the people that have them hang on to them, you know? And it's like, would you sell yours? Nope. Yeah. A- and I know you, the only reason you would sell yours is if you replaced it and didn't ride it. Right.
• 18:40
Well, and, and guess- Because I'm in line for that fucking thing. Which one? The, the Pugsley? Yeah. I like that bike. I do too. That's why you- I know... gave me that. [laughs] But you had mentioned it- I might-...
• 18:48
a couple weeks ago... if it is, if it is what's screwing up my hips- See, he's... This motherfucker, he was like, "You should buy that." And I'm like- And then he talks you into it, and then he's like, "Eh, actually."
• 18:56
And then he's like, "I'm not, I'm not selling that." [laughs] I have to replace it. I'd have to get a Wednesday. I don't know- That's what you were talking about... I don't know if I want a Wednesday.
• 19:02
You'd rather have a Wednesday than a Pugsley? I think I would. I think so. Think it was better for the hip, wouldn't it? I don't think so either. No, it's the same bottom bracket I think. Oh, okay.
• 19:08
It's still 100 millimeter bottom bracket I think. What was the re- Yeah... the Wednesday you said was hard on your hip though, right? No, I think they all are. I think- Oh, okay...
• 19:14
I think the 100 milli- 100 millimeter bottom bracket's hard on my hip. Yeah. The Q factor's wider, and I just... Although I rode it, I rode it, um, Saturday and Sunday.
• 19:27
And I, and I- I was gonna take back the old fucker comment, but now we're talking about your hip. [laughs] I'm sorry. Hey, I know guys way fucking younger than me that have had both hips replaced. Oh, for sure.
• 19:39
I mean, that's, that's just a, a- My- My cousin, he's like 41, he's going in for one, like, it's either today or tomorrow... Logan Hammernick just has, having one replaced. Jesus. Yeah. It's all from playing goalie.
• 19:52
Well, yeah. Mm. I can see that. Mm-hmm. Yep. You know, I got lucky. We played, we played a different style when I started playing, so the full butterfly. I, I probably only have been doing it as long as
• 20:04
years-wise as everybody else, but I don't play as much as everybody else, so I don't, you know, I, I don't put my hip in that horrible position as often. But yeah, it was- So what are you drinking now?
• 20:14
That's the- This is the Crown Royal, um, whiskey lemonade. You wanna try it? Yeah. Yes, please. [laughs] Fucking right. Do I wanna try it? Does Dolly Parton sleep on her back?
• 20:26
That's why I keep you around, right, 'cause I always have goodies. What was the Dolly Parton connection? [laughs] Does Dolly Parton sleep on her back?
• 20:31
[laughs] Oh, oh, uh, speaking of which, who, uh- Does a duck boner drag weeds? Did you guys hear about the celebrity, what the hell's her name? Um, st- that just stabbed her husband, uh, Reese- Oh, that's good.
• 20:44
They have a Coca-Cola, an apple, and a peach. That's fucking dangerous. That's really good. [laughs] I thought that's- Yeah. That's really- It tastes like Minute Made lemonade. Yeah. It does.
• 20:54
Did you- The apple one's all right, but the peach- Do you have to shake it up, Laurel? Is it like all vodka, or the- What... Wait, it- Or does he sit at the bottom? Yeah. It's like- I don't know. I don't-...
• 20:59
what's going on there? What's the, what's the percentage on that? ABVs? It's still 7%. That sounds horrible. She doesn't taste anything like booze. No. You know what? Like,
• 21:11
sorry to get off topic, but- We're on a topic... they make- Wait, wait. [bell dings] All right, go ahead. [laughs] New one. Laurel got all- [laughs] Oh, he loves that. Laurel, what's going on?
• 21:20
Have you ever seen her attack the bell? Yeah. Oh, that's great. Yeah. Every time I'm over here we have him attack the bell.
• 21:26
I just remember when I was younger trying to get, you know, when you were like underage, couldn't, you know, like, you're, you're trying to figure out what you liked. Mm-hmm.
• 21:35
And I remember being in, like, high school and being, like, not a beer fan, you know? Mm-hmm. But I would drink it because it's like, you know, let's get fucked up. Yep.
• 21:44
But you're always, we're always trying to find that, like, niche, and I remember, like, couple of my buddies went through, like, the UV vodka and lemonade phase. Ugh, that stuff. You know, because it was sweet- Really?
• 21:54
... you know, and it didn't- Ugh... didn't taste like booze. But now you go to the liquor store, you can buy Mountain Dew, hard Mountain Dew. Mm. Like, co- Yeah. Oh, I, we- It's like Code Red... we had it.
• 22:04
We had, um- I don't like those... I mean, it's, you had it in here, like, a couple months ago in your fridge. Yeah, last summer, last summer because we had my neighbor's- It's not good. No. It's not bad.
• 22:11
But you can get the... No. Well, it's 'cause I, I'm not a fan of Mountain Dew, otherwise it's not bad. If I was a fan of Mountain Dew- I think that's my thing too... yeah.
• 22:15
But if you had, like, the, the hard sodas, like Henry's Hard Soda, there's a bunch of them, like, they have- Well, the Hard Root Beer, that was what got me hooked. Yes. Those are, like, fantastic.
• 22:23
And they don't taste- And, um-... anything like booze... and on ice cream, holy God. Well, Bud Light even has the soda. All of them are starting, all the seltzers are starting to do, like, soda stuff. Yeah.
• 22:31
Hey, Jeremy makes his own seltzer. Oh, he does? Yeah. Is it good? Does Chad- I don't know. Williams? He makes his own seltzer? Yeah. It's like he mixed- Why am I just finding out about this? I, 'cause I just- Yeah...
• 22:41
found out about it and you weren't there yet. Oh, well, that's true. [laughs] Well, you know me. Calm the fuck down, Kayla. I'm on my own agenda. Yeah. Well, yeah.
• 22:47
[laughs] Oh, we should talk about that after we're done talking about booze. We'll talk about more of his life. I just had to throw that in that, like, that's just another one, that Crown Royal one. Like,
• 22:55
I swear they used to do it as a deterrent so kids wouldn't drink, 'cause it tasted like shit. May- obviously maybe I'm wrong. [laughs] But now it's like, fuck. Definitely wrong.
• 23:04
[laughs] You can buy booze that doesn't taste like booze. Ah. Like, seltzers were, like, the beginning of it. Yep. 'Cause I mean, it's literally like carbonated water. Kids these days don't know how good they have it.
• 23:16
[laughs] We had to drink the shitty stuff- I-... and now they just went straight to the good stuff. I remember drinking- I don't-... fucking liquid pine trees- I can-... stealing my da- Pine, yes...
• 23:25
nips of my dad's Bombay. [laughs] I, I remember getting up at- Uh, I already have that taste in my mouth getting sick.
• 23:29
[laughs] I remember getting up in the morning at, at, at our apartment and after a party the next night and it's like, "I gotta have something to drink."
• 23:34
And it's like, "Oh, we got here, we got, we got orange Kool-Aid and vodka. Well, fuck it, here we go." Yeah, right? [laughs] Well, that was it. Like- It didn't, it didn't really matter...
• 23:40
somebody, somebody would score a bottle of vodka and you'd just fucking mix it with whatever. You're like, "What, what do you got? Well, this just happens to be a Diet Tab."
• 23:49
[laughs] "Let's pour some fucking vodka in it." Oh, no, you can't put Tab into anything. That's just disgusting. [laughs] It didn't matter what it was.
• 23:54
That, that being said, uh- We were just too much of a pussy to drink it straight- We, I s-... so we were just pouring whatever we could in it... I, I just can't drink hard stuff 'cause I get too snaky.
• 24:01
Like- What's snurky? Snaky. I'm a snurse. Yeah. [laughs] Snack is snack. [laughs] But, but we were down in Decorah- I wanted to do the snake dance... and, no.
• 24:10
And there, and the, and the deli down there has a really good m- lemonade. Like, he makes a different fresh lemonade every day, right? Mm. Mm-hmm.
• 24:16
And then he gives it to, he gives what's left over to, to Brandon, the old bartender that used to be down there, 'cause they used to be roommates. Mm-hmm. And you go down there and Brandon's like...
• 24:23
He was all pissed off one night and he lacks of daring. He goes, "Okay." We're drinking this. He had like a half gallon of that shit, and he was making drinks with it, and it's like, ah, so fucking good.
• 24:31
Like, I would've thought lemonade, a, a... Was it a raspberry lemonade? And then I thought whiskey, you know, that's gonna be disgusting. It was fucking fantastic. Yeah. Yeah. Actually that's neat.
• 24:40
It was like, holy crap. Absolutely. Yeah. Like, Canadian whiskey and lemonade is- Yeah... fucking good. I would've never guessed that. Yeah. I was impressed. And, like,
• 24:49
you know, being on the river, hotter than hell out, you just... Like an ice cold lemonade with p- I mean, there's a lot of boozes you can put- Yeah... lemonade in.
• 24:57
But, like, a vodka lemonade or a whiskey lemonade, just pff, colder than hell, like, on a hot day- [laughs]... just hits right. I'm sorry. I, I, not, not ignoring you guys. But so I- What did we say?
• 25:10
I remember my, my one manager text, "How long is the banquet gonna be?" And I gave her the fingers two inches apart, I said, "About this long." [laughs] And she goes, "Wow, fuck you. Thanks."
• 25:23
[laughs] Are children allowed to talk to me like that? [laughs] Yes. And then, and then one of the girls- I guess so... "Did you just call him a fucker?" [laughs] This is just- No, I said, "Fuck you."
• 25:33
[laughs] There's a difference. Kids. Oh, God. Um, oh, shit, we are off topic now. We're on booze. Yep, done with booze. Did you know that those little shooters of, um, Fireball are not actually true whiskey?
• 25:45
N- It's just m- malted flavored whiskey. And there's two versions. There's ones- What?... with alcohol and ones without alcohol. Oh, no, I knew there was a- Yeah. I knew there was a non-alcoholic ones.
• 25:55
I'm not gonna buy those little shooters anymore. No. Why do you have the little shooters right there? What's that for? I mean, it tastes like fucking Fireball. Why do you have Pink Whitney? 'Cause it's in a hockey stick.
• 26:02
I drink a lot of Pink Whitney. Oh. I'm not gonna lie. Really? Yeah. Is that what that is? Yeah. Is it good? Well, it's just- I have a spinner yo too. It's- It's a hockey sticks...
• 26:09
it's pink lemonade flavored vodka- Yeah... but I still mix it with, like, Sprite or 7. Yep. Oh, yeah? Okay. Just 'cause it is a little- Can you mix drink with coffee?
• 26:16
Like, drinking it straight is a little- I'm out of Bailey's, so can I mix it with coffee? Oh, Jesus. I got- Whatever it takes. I just, I just got- Whatever it takes to shake some out of you guys.
• 26:22
I, I, I, uh, this morning I got the, I got, I got the, "Not that I'm counting, but you're six days, you're six days on a binge again now. Not that I'm counting." Whoa. Six-day bender, eh? Yeah. Yeah. And I'm like- Wow...
• 26:33
I'm like, "Wait a second." You? Yeah. We didn't drink that much the other night. What night? No, you're pretty good. Don't, don't look at Jesus. So this weekend, the shenanigans. Oh, fuck you, mister, "Well, one more."
• 26:43
[laughs] "One more." We didn't... We always... You know better. [laughs] Oh, I know. I was- No, I, I'm no, I'm okay with it. Oh, that was you.
• 26:49
We were out a little- He's the one, he's the one like, "We didn't drink that much." We were out a little late last- We're talking about Roosters. Yeah.
• 26:53
Just because we, just because we didn't do n- fucking nine- Just because-... pay one more instead of, like- Well, I could do one-... this time it was five. Okay. I could do one more, it's 'cause Kayla's driving.
• 27:01
[laughs] Well, one more, one more. I'll buy. Everybody tabs out. One more. One more. I'll buy. And we weren't even ready to go, they just kind of stopped- Yeah... serving us. Yeah. They did kind of stop serving us. Yeah.
• 27:11
Well, c- I think just- You pi- you pissed off the waitress. You fucking pissed off the waitress. It was probably you. She was eating out of the palm of my hand. [laughs] Yeah.
• 27:18
She couldn't understand a word that you were fucking saying. [laughs] She's like, "What?" [laughs] Yeah. She would just nod and smile whenever you'd say anything. [laughs] She was great though. So she was fun.
• 27:29
She's a sweet girl. Yeah. And she was having a good time. Cassandra really enjoyed it. 'Cause I kept getting the look over the shoulder like, "Did you get that little smirk, remark when I left?" She's like, "Fuck you."
• 27:36
[laughs] Well, and she, she took it well too. Oh, yeah. Once she could understand what you were saying to her, she took it well. She's- She'd laugh and just give it right back. Oh, yeah, she was awesome. Yeah.
• 27:44
I, I'm assuming you know her. I don't. No, no, that's fine. Oh, re- We were just... I was... Like, when we... Every time I go there, they have different people working, like the turnover's crazy. Yeah.
• 27:54
So the old lady Mickey was the manager for a while, and now she does just kind of paperwork a couple days a week 'cause she's retired. Oh, okay. And she's the bomb. Everybody loved her.
• 28:06
So I don't know who they got running it now, but the, the turnover's pretty rough.
• 28:11
I thought it was very entertaining that the girl also didn't know what Nectar of the Gods was, even though her sweatshirt- Yeah, Stell was fucking hilarious... literally. Yeah.
• 28:18
So I was trying to prove my point that Busch Light is amazing, and I'm like, she walks up with the Nectar of the Gods shirt- [laughs]... and I'm like, "See, she even knows."
• 28:27
And she's like, "To be completely honest, I have no idea what the fuck this mean. The table next to me just, next to us just told us what it means."
• 28:34
'Cause, 'cause- Well, they were ordering it and she's like, she literally went to the bartender and she's like, "We'll take a Nectar of the Gods." Oh, yeah, that's right. [laughs] Yeah.
• 28:40
She's like, "We'll take a Nectar of the Gods." [laughs] She had to, she had to... [laughs] And it was on her shirt.
• 28:46
[laughs] Well, I, I mean, in her defense that, that advertising campaign was, she was probably five when it came out. There you go. I just don't like- Right? Right. Yeah.
• 28:56
I, I mean, I've a, always, like, every time I've drank a beer, I'm just like, "Nectar of the Gods." Yeah, I'm just like- [laughs]... I, that's just what I call it.
• 29:06
[laughs] And then it, then it turned out- Even Clark, even Clark can handle it. [laughs] Yeah, Clark was like, "Yeah." [laughs] I was like, "These are some noises, bud." He's like, "You, you're terrible."
• 29:14
So the, the best part is, so when we don't want to walk in the door and Kayla's on it right away. "I don't want this, but I don't want this." She's kind of picking and drinking. I just said, "Can I get a PBR?"
• 29:22
And she goes, "Well-" I literally said a Captain diet is what I always say. Um, I, I just remember you babbling on about something, if I remember correctly. And then I was trying to- That sounds about right.
• 29:29
And I was just, alls I wanted was a, a T- If it's not me babbling, it's him babbling. Oh, it, it's usually- So I don't know what his problem is... you just happen to babble louder than him.
• 29:36
That was- [laughs] I don't know if that's true either, but okay. So I just, alls I said was, "Can I get a Tallboy or something? I don't care what's type." I said, "Anything but Busch Light." I just, I...
• 29:46
She goes, she kinda looks at me, "I'll just throw it at you." And she goes, "That's okay, I'll just catch it and drink it." I'm like, "Oh, she one of those kind. Okay."
• 29:53
So right then I knew we had a good, we had a good wait person there. That was awesome. Yeah. I would, I would definitely go there. Hands me an empty plate when I said, "Do you want any food?" "No." "Here."
• 30:02
[laughs] I would definitely- Sure. What did she say when you were like... She's like, "You're not eating?" And you were like, "Nope." She's like, "Good." [laughs] Like, Jesus. That was fun. That was a good time.
• 30:16
So that was the start of the bender was the night we went out for drinks? I don't... No, I- That had to have been it... I don't, count six days back from yester- so Sunday, Monday. No. Six out of seven days. So Sunday,
• 30:25
Saturday. That was Thursday. I don't think I drank Friday. That was Thursday. That was Thursday. Wednesday, oh, because we played some h- hockey. I didn't go out Tuesday. Wasn't Tuesday when we went to Rooster's?
• 30:37
Was it Tuesday or was it Thursday? Did we go Thursday? Eh, she might be not too far off. It was Thursday 'cause Emily had volleyball. Oh, that's right. Yep, yep, yep. Did we go Tuesday? Did she call you or text you?
• 30:49
No, I haven't. I bet you'll be getting that text in- Yeah... I'd guess tomorrow Let her know, I'll play volleyball. 'Cause she was like, "Give me her number now." [laughs] Well, the sooner I know, the better- Yeah...
• 30:59
'cause otherwise I'll plan on biking. Um, so this weekend, do we wanna talk about the shenanigans? What's this weekend? Well, this last weekend. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, let's do- So- Do we need to ring the bell?
• 31:09
Oh yeah, here. Ring it. [bell rings] Um, so wait, so f- St. Patty's Day was Friday. Yep. Yep. I, and I didn't go out. I, uh, you were in Casson. I had hockey practice. Yeah. Oh, yeah.
• 31:25
So [laughs] - Drinking with the Casson Cops, that's what it is. Yeah, so [laughs] I walk into Ca- Yeah. [laughs] I didn't know if that was a joke or what.
• 31:29
Oh, oh, by the way, we have to do, I have, uh, I have, um, a, a crawler from there. Do you want me to grab it? Yeah, yeah. We can open that up next. That's terrible. No, uh, I, I liked their beers. They're nothing,
• 31:40
they're nothing crazy. They're just decent. Um- This chaotic right here? Yep. Oh, that's better. I'll find you some glasses. I'll let you know when it just fits your hair.
• 31:55
Um, and yeah, so I, I stop by there, [laughs] and I walk in the door, and there's...
• 31:59
[laughs] I look to my right and there's these two guys sitting there with blue shirts and, I mean, they're blue shirts, buzzed haircuts, and beards.
• 32:06
Now th- I'm like, "Those are the nicest dressed biker guys I've ever seen in my life," right? And I go, "Oh, there's a fucking badge there, too." [laughs] And they got these little bikes.
• 32:13
They were fucking giving breathalyzer tests. Which to me is like, who's dumb enough to go take breathalyzers down the cops on St. Patty's? Oh, there was plenty of people.
• 32:21
  I thought about it, I'm like, "Oh, wait, I, I- Why? I don't know So you didn't drive? I gu- I guess. I don't know. Curiosity. I, it- Well-...
• 32:29
it was a curiosity for me I lived in that fucking town, and they used to park behind Pete's, the, one of the bars. Yeah. And they would wait for you to leave and fucking pull you over. They- No.
• 32:41
Do you remember, did you ever play in the Beer and Brat League? Yeah. Where, and there was a, there was cops in Casson that was a boyfriend/girlfriend, and the one would sit on the other side- Yeah...
• 32:50
and then read license plate numbers, and just before you're getting out of town, uh, at the Subway- Mm-hmm... she would pull you over. Yep.
• 32:56
So again, my point, why would people go get breathalyzed by the- [laughs] I don't know, but they did... two cops on fire? They did, and it was very strange.
• 33:02
I mean, it's a, it's a, it's a- Well, the, the, the thing is, is there's enough idiots in that town where they'd blow and be like, "Oh, fucking.2," and then they'd get in their truck and get fucking pulled over anyway 'cause- And then, and then bitch about that- Yeah, they would...
• 33:14
it's not accurate. [laughs] Exactly, they would be like- "Oh, I blew the highest I've ever done." I'm gonna drive home. I only- Yeah... I only was pulled over one time in that...
• 33:20
Well, I didn't get pulled over one time in that town, my buddy did. We were leaving Manorville. We had, you know, Manorville used to do, uh, drink tickets.
• 33:27
You know, you had, for setups, because you had to bring your own bottle. Mm-hmm. So we had a half gallon of whiskey, and we bought th- we bought a dozen setup tickets, and we left with nine.
• 33:39
[laughs] So we pretty much just drank a bottle of whiskey by ourselves.
• 33:43
[laughs] And we're ripping through the park and tearing it up, and then I got into a fight with a cop over the last, like, quarter inch of booze in the bottle. I was like, "I'm not driving. You can't take this fucker."
• 33:51
He's like y- yanking it out with me. [laughs] And the cop finally just looked at the guy that was driving, goes, "Just get him the fuck out of here." [laughs] So we just left town.
• 33:59
And then we, and then we took the back ways h- out of there, and wound up back in Manorville. [laughs] Wow. Those little breath- You can get those breathalyzers as, like, a little, like, Christmas gift.
• 34:10
I don't know how accurate they really are. Yeah, you can buy them. I don't know. But like- Jack Hammer, we always have them at our parties and see who can get the highest.
• 34:17
Uh, I was, I was told that- Sounds responsible... I was told that Shannon has her own at home. I believe it. [laughs] We should take that out. We can make a fun game. Okay. Well, so...
• 34:29
[sighs] Yes, we can, well, we can, so we could bring up this so we can talk about other stuff later. So oh, let's go back to this weekend. Okay. So what did you do Friday night?
• 34:38
Um, Friday night I met up with the Jack Hammers. Um, they had started at 7:30 in the morning. I had to work, and then I worked a tasting afterwards, so I didn't get off work until, like, 6:00, 6:30.
• 34:50
Then met up with them, and they were at Whistle Binkie's North, and I was not expecting them to even be, like, coherent, but they were doing pretty good. Um, and then we went downtown and it was dead.
• 34:59
Like, downtown Rochester is just kinda getting sad. Yeah, there's nothing there anymore. Yeah, we went to Cathy's, and, like, we were meeting up with some of the firefighters there, and they were already heading out.
• 35:08
They were trying to get us to go to a house party in Byron, and I'm like, "That's- [laughs] That's, that's-... it's 7:00 at this point. Why would we want to go to a house party?" That sounds like high school.
• 35:16
It does, doesn't it? [laughs] Yeah. I was like, "Uh, no, I think we're gonna go home." Well, are you near a Fireman around here? Yeah, that's pretty close. Yeah, right.
• 35:21
[laughs] Um, well, 'cause you guys texted me at 8:30 and you were at the club? Well, yeah. So we went to Blue Doc 'cause Casey was trying to talk me into going there to get some drinks, and that was actually packed.
• 35:31
So then we end up deciding, Casey's like, "Well, you wanna go to the club?" And I'm like, "Absolutely I wanna go to the club." It was a bit early, though. We got there at, like, 7:30-ish. Yeah, was it?
• 35:42
Yeah, 'cause I was just- And then I left at midnight... I think I just got home And that's kinda too long to be at the club. No. Oh, yeah. Well, [laughs] it was- [laughs] No. Yeah.
• 35:49
Well, I thought I was leaving early Sunday night 'cause it was dead. It was just us and the ECH gals, E- ECH gal guys. I almost came down.
• 35:57
You should have, because it was really funny 'cause you just could've saw Phillips' ear. Oh, yeah, heard about that. He took a puck off of it. Yeah, he ripped it up pretty good. So what time did you leave the club?
• 36:06
Um, I think I was home by midnight, which for me is pretty good. That's fucking early. Yeah. That's really early for me. But... No, we used to do a huge ride, like 20 of us, all dressed up. Like the Revengeance guys?
• 36:21
No, this is prior to Revengeance. This is- Well, last year we did a huge ride... this is when there was actually real people that rode bicycles. It was probably back in, like, '64. [laughs] No. Probably.
• 36:29
It was actually, and actually- Parker. Parker. [laughs] It was like, it was like Trevor Olsen and his wife, and Mark Walters, and I mean, there was a lot of, like, really fast, racy guys, too.
• 36:36
That was the funny part about it. Like, we'd f- Oh, that would've been fun... we would fucking race through town pretty much. Last time I was at the club, M- Walters was there. Didn't even talk to me He did He did.
• 36:45
Yeah, he said, "Fuck you," to Ike Yeah, I was gonna say, he cocksuckered you from across the bar [laughs] Well, that's pretty normal. Um-
• 36:52
Well, I planned on doing more biking, but it was so wicked windy Yeah Yeah, that sucked Right, well, that...
• 36:56
That was, I think when you texted me, it's like I lo- I looked, like, out the window and the flag is straight going this way and I'm like- The signs, like all the- Yeah...
• 37:02
parking signs on South Broad are s- spinning like crazy Yeah. I'm like, "No, I'm not going out.
• 37:06
It's, I'm not go-" Yeah And then, but then by, part of the reason also was I was more interested in Saturday anyway, 'cause Saturday- Mm-hmm... sounded more fun. So we went to, we sa- [laughs] This is...
• 37:15
I, I know Jeremy's got pictures. I'll have to get some. So we started at- LTS... LTS at noon, and, um, Jeremy was like, "Potluck," you know. So he's gonna bring food, so I'm like, "Oh, well, I'm not gonna bring anything.
• 37:25
I don't need to eat." I get there and all of a sudden Jeremy starts pulling out bags of stuff, and Barry's pulling out bread, and, and Christine's pulling out bread.
• 37:33
And she went and got, like, cheeses and crackers from, uh, Hy-Vee, so it wasn't, like, it wasn't, like, Irish at all, but it was, like, a lot of good food [laughs] except for Jeremy had a shepherd's pie that he made, got it from Costco, and then made it and then just put it in Ziploc bags [laughs]
• 37:48
Keep it classy That was... It was like- Costco food's good, though Well, it is. Their- Yeah... their shepherd's pie is good and it's like- Yeah... that's how it's gonna be anyways. It's just all mixed together.
• 37:55
It was awesome You're like my kinda guy God, it was funny Did you, like, cut a little slot and then just, like, scoop [laughs] Oh. No. Oh, I never thought about that.
• 38:02
[laughs] But I did, but I did do, like- Slap a bag of shepherd's pie I li- I only opened it up, I only opened it up, like, halfway and just went ptth, onto my plate.
• 38:09
And I was- [laughs] She had, uh, a Carolina Reaper- Just rippin' shepherd pie slot shots [laughs] Oh I didn't get any Irish food all weekend, 'cause- I didn't have any corned beef hash... so we- I'm kinda bummed.
• 38:21
That was like- So yeah, LTS, and then you guys went to Little Thistle, right? Yep And then I was trying to find you guys, 'cause I started later.
• 38:29
[sighs] And so I went, I backtracked, and I got to LTS, and that's when I finally found out that you guys were actually at Thesis. And then- So that, and then so we went to that Thesis Yep Yep.
• 38:37
And then you and I rode to Brothers. And I was trying to get home in time to watch the Gopher game. I caught the, I caught a rash of shit and then, like, the last five minutes [laughs]
• 38:47
But did you go, did you go to Barry's house? Yeah So did you guys watch Cocaine Bear? Um, I got the end of Cocaine Bear, because I also was on suddenly a grocery run to get salsa and sour cream and- That's Irish food...
• 39:00
I was on our agenda of time. I wasn't, like, on a rush to get out there, so- Well, well, true, yeah...
• 39:05
I didn't really, I didn't really plan on doing whatever their dinner plans or anything Well, I don't know if they had any, because all of a sudden I think Barry's wife had her plans, and we were not included Well, she was just downstairs with, like, a friend and, like, her mother.
• 39:18
I don't know Yeah, I, I don't know It was, like, her and two other gals I was... I think, I think it was a- as rough as it is around here, so Barry's just like, "Okay, what do you wanna do?"
• 39:27
[laughs] "You can do whatever you want with your friends, but you're keeping them outside."
• 39:30
And I'm like, "I'm just gonna go home and watch the hockey game" Well, I showed up, and Becca's, like, falling asleep, like, nose to the water- [laughs]...
• 39:36
and it was, like, the end of Cocaine Bear, and, like, everybody else seemed rather tired, and I'm like, "Oh, great timing" She wanted to go to, uh, she wanted to go to, what's the place in Soldiers Field, though?
• 39:47
Townie's? Townie. She wanted to go there tonight Oh 'Cause they had a beer special or something.
• 39:51
Um- They usually do have pretty good beer specials I heard the sandwiches are good They are I've heard good things Are they expensive?
• 39:55
I haven't been out there It is a little pricey Well, the fuck, what the fuck is it now? That's what I'm saying I'm just gonna- I mean, it's in line with everything else I'm, I'm on a fixed budget.
• 40:02
I'm eating off your guys' plates from now on Right? [laughs] I've noticed I mean- I've done that, I've done that to you, like- That's fine. I always have my trash can... three times in a row now.
• 40:10
It's like, oh, she's like, "No, first place we go, you're jumping in" Funny you don't fucking, funny you don't drool on it I'm just gonna get the girl, the, what do we call it?
• 40:16
Like, have you seen the menus where they have the girlfriend special of, like, oh, she's not hungry tonight, and it's like it comes with two extra mozzarella sticks if you wait an hour [laughs] Oh, really? Yeah.
• 40:25
I've seen that. They do- That's what I'm gonna order for you They do, they do a bunch of those. I saw one, we were at, uh, Clyde's in Blaine- We're gonna, so-... right by the rink, and they have the- Can we-...
• 40:33
all of the appetizers come with the- I'm gonna-... the girlfriend upgrade I'm gonna- Or the, the girl, the wife's not hungry upgrade I'm gonna, I'm gonna- And it comes, like, same thing.
• 40:42
It's a couple extra wings and- I'm gonna, I'm gonna ask- That's what we're gonna have to start ordering when we're out... I'm gonna ask Smoot to do that. It just, just he, he doesn't even have to put it on the menu.
• 40:50
Just say, just have the, the chewy s- the chewy, you know, like, "Do you want, do you want six wings, 12 wings? Do you want chewy wings?" Which would be- [laughs] Which would be like- The chewy special...
• 41:00
eight, eight, it'd be like eight plus 14 Can I get the 10 plus chewy? [laughs] What the fuck is that? And the chewy add-on That's two extra for your fixed income retired guy [laughs] [laughs] They need to ask f-
• 41:16
uh, uh, so what you don't wanna do, 'cause my problem is lately when I go down to the club meetings on Wednesday nights, I've been, I've been hitting, uh, Decorah Human Powered Trails. They got a lot of stuff going on.
• 41:25
So I've been going to their once-a-month meetings, and that's kind of the same thing happens. I go there to have a few beers. I go downstairs to have a couple more, and then I get hungry, and then I order food.
• 41:32
And there's enough there for, like, five people to eat when I order. It's like this decent price, but it's also, it's like, "Oh, this looks, yeah, this looks better" Yeah.
• 41:40
Mm-hmm Well, I think the key in town here are the lunch specials. Like, Hot Chip does a, uh, a burger basket for lunch, and it's a, a double cheeseburger and fries and a fountain drink Oh And it's 10 bucks.
• 41:58
And it's like- 10 bucks? It's not as big as the, I don't know if you've been to Hot Chip, but it's not as big as the regular Hot Chip burger, but it's a smash burger. It's really good.
• 42:07
They give you a, a truckload of french fries and then a fountain drink. And then I was like, "Well, shit, that's not bad." Well, then, like- For Rochester prices, that's pretty good Yeah.
• 42:16
Well, like, the next day, we were heading out of town, um, for hockey, and we just ripped through McDonald's quick, and a Big Mac meal is like 10.80 Seriously?
• 42:27
And this food is obviously way better than a- I haven't been to McDonald's in a long time...
• 42:30
it's way better than a McDonald's meal, and you get more food Mm Okay, I have to ask a question So lunch specials in Rochester, they're there 'Cause this, this- Even BDubs does a really good lunch special They always have BDubs has really increased their prices.
• 42:42
I used to get their, like- [laughs]... three street tacos for $5. Now it's like $10 Really? Uh, I just think that's everywhere Yeah Those kid needed a raise[laughs] No, you're right, I think it is everywhere.
• 42:52
I don't- Hot Chip has really good boozy milkshakes. Have you had those? I have. What? Oh, I've heard. And then they have Boxcar Hippie next door. Yeah, I've never been there either. Yeah, that's back open again.
• 43:00
So- That's like the burger- Is it close?... and stuff, right? Yeah, it's really good. Yeah. Yeah. Was it closed? Burritos. They closed it for a while, like a year, maybe a year and a half.
• 43:07
I mean- Well, they, like, retooled the menu. Oh. I d- actually never made it. It was kind of like a secret pop-up before. Yeah. Now it's...
• 43:16
I think they tested it, and then they're like, "Okay, yeah, this is, this is doing well." So now it's an actual restaurant. But, uh, they kinda retooled a couple different menu items. But yeah, it's... If, if you like,
• 43:29
you know, like the Chipotle-type stuff, um, which, love Chipotle, but just hate the service. Rochester is- You know what I mean? Yeah, Rochester... the worst Chipotle I've ever been to.
• 43:41
I don't think I've been to Chipotle- Well, you get-... in, like, six years... half the t- half the time you get, uh, salmonella poisoning from that one. Or they fuck your order up. Well, the salsa anyway. Yeah.
• 43:49
Now you just don't even get your food. Yeah, now it's- [laughs] What? Yeah.
• 43:53
Like, people have been, like, very angry about the service, 'cause it takes forever to get through, and people do, like, the online ordering, 'cause you can do that everywhere now, and, like, they'll literally just close up shop and just not give you your food.
• 44:03
Yeah, they would, they would cl- Seriously? But they'll still charge you for it. Well, they would close, they would close the store, but they wouldn't, they wouldn't turn off the online orders.
• 44:12
So, like, you'd put your order in- That's a fucking scam. Yeah, you'd put your order- Yeah... in, and you'd pay your $15 or whatever the hell they charge for a burrito nowadays, you know, and then you'd be...
• 44:22
All, like you DoorDash it or whatever, or you go to pick it up, and you get there, and there's a sign on the door. Yep. "Closed due to staffing shortage." I, um,
• 44:32
not to keep moving this along, but I need her to keep this on me. Well, you do, you do need to move it along. Pitter-patter. I know you don't have a date. Um, so the only other thing I wanted to bring up- You do? Me?
• 44:42
What's his name? [laughs] I'm not telling you 'cause you'll just steal him from me. [laughs] Um, Greg sent me... It's funny, Greg sent me this thing, and the same time he did, um, um, um, um- That's fucking dark...
• 44:57
  it's a, it's a... I, I, I didn't try it. I, I had some other stuff. This is, um, Chaotic's, uh, dry Irish stout, but it's only, like, 5... like 5.5. It... She's thick, bud. Is it? I don't actually...
• 45:13
Like, at first you get, like, this, like, roasty flavor, and it seems like it's gonna be heavy, but it really is not as heavy as I, I guess imagine it was gonna be. It's four, it's only 4.9 by volume. Oh.
• 45:24
For a- It definitely finishes light. Yeah. Yep. Okay. All right. It's not bad. Yeah. No, the beers are not- It's not bad if you like drinking fucking motor oil. [laughs] Kidding, it's, it's pretty good.
• 45:36
[laughs] Maybe your joints could use a little lubing up. [laughs] Oh. [laughs] Okay. [laughs] Okay, Mr. Hip. [laughs] Yeah. So anyway, um, and then I got... At the same time I got that, I got one from Joe Kinsley.
• 45:53
So, um- Oh, now it's getting bitter. Getting better or bitter? Bitter. [laughs] Oh, really? Yeah. How are you, how are you doing over there? I didn't think it was bitter. I just thought it was terrible.
• 46:08
[laughs] So, uh, not so much bitter, but a lot more suck. So once- [laughs] So once you're... So once you're...
• 46:14
What you're trying to tell me is that once you're, um, professional analyzing of the beer is done, then you can come out with what you really feel like about it? Yeah. Everything in caskets sucks.
• 46:22
I mean, I am kind of a professional at this point. Yeah. I mean- It is what I get paid for these days... she does it for, like, kind of a living. [laughs] Yeah. For a good living, yeah.
• 46:29
I just do, I just do it to take the shakes away. That too. Yeah. I do it 'cause I have a, I have a- You're binging. Yes, I'm binging. Um, anyway, May... Stand by. Oh, wait. You're on a, you're in the middle of a bender.
• 46:42
Oh, it's the clunker. Yeah. So, uh, May 5th, it's a Saturday. They call it May Day Mayhem. Um, there's a clunker race in Osage, Iowa. Ah. Out. Why? Corky's softball that weekend. Is that the same weekend? Mm-hmm. Okay.
• 47:01
May 5th. Yeah, was it- Uh, I'm out too. Where are you gonna be? Bike and... Um, kids call it borking these days. Have you heard of what that is? Yeah, are you gonna do that? What are we doing? Yeah. You do that anyway.
• 47:11
Well, kind of. You just do it as... You just- This is more legit. Like, I might actually black out. I might get broken for the second time. [laughs] I haven't quite decided yet, but- What-... there's a good chance.
• 47:24
The blacking out part of it, so how much... It's a j- it's a gallon jug, so it, uh, it depends on how much vodka you put in it. What is this? Isn't it two gallon jugs, or is it just one?
• 47:32
Well, I- Will you explain to me what this is? Let me Google it. Yeah, 'cause I- 'Cause I always thought- Because I was a-... you can make whatever concoction you want. W- right.
• 47:40
But I feel like there is this specific- But it all goes into a one-gallon jug, and then you have to, like, not slam it, but you drink a gallon jug by yourself. Of what?
• 47:47
Whatever you wanna mix it with, like vodka and Kool-Aid or whatever. Is it like Edward 40 Hands? Uh, kinda. Where they tape, they tape two 40s to your hands, and you can't do anything until they're gone? But, uh, yeah.
• 47:56
So the technical... what the Gen Z folks do is water, vodka, and then any form of, form of flavoring. They usually do, like, MiO or Crystal Light. Is it- Which to me is kinda pansy.
• 48:07
Like, I could easily just- Wait, so, no, is it- Wait, so I was gonna say that's like a new, that's like a new age WAP. Yeah. Didn't you ever do WAP? Oh. Yep. No.
• 48:14
You just fucking throw in a bunch of booze and fruit and shit into, like, a Rubbermaid tote. Oh, we call them garbage can parties- Jungle juice... 'cause we used to do garbage cans. Yeah, same. Jungle juice.
• 48:22
Jungle juice. Yeah, yeah. Jungle juice, Wapatooie. We... One time, one time we made it so good that we actually bottled it- Now they do... 'cause it was so good. [laughs] Wait a minute Like, we didn't- Wait a minute.
• 48:29
[laughs] Yeah, it always turns out. We had a, we had a couple really good WAPs. Yeah. But now it's just fancy with MiOs really.
• 48:34
Well, they're being more responsible, 'cause they're adding water to it, and that's just- Pussies... you know. So it would be- Well, that's what the ice was for. Yeah. Yeah. Fucking nerds. Casey's case.
• 48:43
Anyways, we're gonna do, like, legit or Italian- Are you hanging on to your youth? Me? Yeah. You. No.
• 48:49
I just har- I just party with a group that thinks they're still a fraternity, and so we just do kind of- And you're, and you're just down to black out. [laughs] Yeah. [laughs] 100%. Yep. It's been almost...
• 49:00
I haven't binzed and blacked out in almost a week now. Yeah. Holy shit. Hey, I'm getting better. I can't even get- I think I'm finally slowing down now... I can't even get through work without a fireball shooter.
• 49:09
[laughs] Not from the fucking snaps you send me, you're not. [laughs] After I was just dissing fireball- It was like, so-... and I'm like, "It's flavored with real peppermint"...
• 49:15
so, yeah, so whatever day w- whatever the night the three of us- I want the real shit. [laughs] Whatever Thursday- She's got bottles in her fucking desk. [laughs] I do now.
• 49:23
No, did you, did you get the snap from where Thurs- w- whenever night we went out, Thursday night, Wednesday night, Tuesday night, whatever the fuck it was? Probably. Like, you dropped me off and went to Carbone's. Oh.
• 49:32
[laughs] Yeah. I captioned, "Oops." [laughs] There's, oops, there's two. I was gonna go home. I kind of, there's, there's- I trod and fell and ended up at Buck Up.
• 49:40
Yeah, like, like the time it would take her to get to her house, she was already there and had two drinks. [laughs] Well, you have to, it's Buck Up. Yeah. Well, that's true. I've never, I've never been there.
• 49:47
Wait, dude, I wish there was one on the south side. There's, there's- I would, I would drink so much more irresponsibly in public- [laughs]... if there was a Carbone's down there. That's why I'm so glad there isn't one.
• 49:55
Yeah. I don't need any more help. God. We, I met a couple buddies there for lunch one day, and I got back- Can we get back on topic?... I had to have my wife pick me up when she was done work. [laughs] At Carbone's?
• 50:05
Yeah. Yeah, Carbone's is- Buck Up got me in trouble... 'cause it's not just one more, it's two more. Yep. Huh? Wait, what? Carbone's, 'cause it's Buck Up, so you always get two drinks at a time. Yeah.
• 50:16
So it's not just one more. Oh, it's one more. When we do two more- Oh, yeah, yeah, I see what she's saying... oh, I get it, yeah. Yeah, it's- So, yeah. It'll catch up to you. I don't call it Buck Up.
• 50:23
I call it getting fucked up. Yeah. Yeah. Every time I go there. Fucked up, fucked up. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Anyways. I'm there at least three times a week.
• 50:28
Kayla, it's a normal d- Kayla, is this, like, normal- And the food's not bad. Um- Oh, I don't know... I know, so it's like a- I'm not necessarily a fan. Yeah, their salads are huge.
• 50:36
I mean, I wouldn't go there, like, for food. I go there to get drunk. Their pizzas are good- But the food is good... but I never really get pizza, but I've had pieces of other people's pizza, and it's good.
• 50:43
Okay, so anyway, back to this. It's edible. 'Cause we're, 'cause you guys are gonna go do something else, so I'm going- Dude... to the clunker race. [laughs] Sorry to- 'Cause listen to this. What time is it?
• 50:52
Maybe I can do all the things. It's at 2 o'clock. On the 6th? Yeah. No, the 5th, Saturday. Oh, I could probably... Wait. Yeah, you can drink all your jug anytime you want. I'm sure that is, I'm sure that is the 6th.
• 51:03
This is a clunker race. And it's, and it's, so it's- I don't have a raceable clunker. Yeah, you do. You have your Belgium. That's not race worthy. Do you wanna borrow my State? That's, like, I can get, like, two miles.
• 51:13
She has a St- she has... No, you don't. She can borrow mine. Well, we're debating if there's, those will even qualify, but I think this is what some pe- uh, but, 'cause it says 10 bucks to enter,
• 51:23
first through third, first th- through third place prizes. Start and finish at Limestone Brewers. Um, I've never had their beer. Have you? Mm-mm.
• 51:33
Is that, I guess it's part- I've been meaning to make it out there for a moment. Yeah. Uh, coaster brake, pre-war racers, vintage mountain bikes. Mm, I'll bet you find something you could ride here. Um- Oh...
• 51:45
department store clunkers. So technically our bikes are department clo- store clunkers. The State bikes you're talking- Uh-huh. Well, yeah.
• 51:54
I mean, the price range and shit, they, they fit in that ca- they fit in that category. And you're supposed to dress the part. What, what do you mean? So I'm gonna ride the Firestone.
• 52:04
That means I gotta get some 50 something or other. I have, I have a set of, uh, Converse All Stars. I'll start with that, and then I've got that- Oh, so dress to the part...
• 52:13
and then I've got a sh- Just don't bring your bike... well, whatever, what- whatever era of bicycle you're riding is what you're supposed to do. Oh.
• 52:17
Like, like, um, uh, Wanda Kennedy does, I, I never make it down there anymore. She just texted me last week. So are you riding your clunk- your State clunker? I might. I might r- I might ride the Tornado, too.
• 52:30
I was gonna say, if you rode the State, how would you dress the part? What, what era is that since it's a, like, a 2019- I don't know.
• 52:37
Well, if you did, if you did what, if you did what it's supposed to be, what, what era it comes from, you do something in the '60s or '70s. Oh, okay. You know, something like that I would think.
• 52:45
You know, 'cause it's like a, it's like a cruiser mountain bike or a, a BMX bike. Yep. So something along that line maybe.
• 52:50
I was just, I didn't, I wasn't sh- for sure what era, 'cause didn't they have, like, a few different eras? I, Ward won it last year, and he rode a, like a Schwinn Collegiate
• 52:59
and then just had, like, a preppy windbreaker jacket [laughs] on, you know, like the one with all the, the old white, the one with all the white stripes on them. Yeah. [laughs] He had, went something like that on.
• 53:06
He won, he won it. Wind didn't stand a chance. [laughs] So I don't know. I, I think, uh, I think Ward, and Jackie, and myself, um, I think Greg and Lunz are coming over from Milwaukee.
• 53:18
I think we're all gonna go down and do it. Oh, wow. Sweet. So if your other- That'd be fun... if you, if you decide not to be a kid and go binging on a gallon of whatever- You know me, I'm an opportunist.
• 53:27
[laughs] I'm an independent, I'm an independent party, so I just wanna go where all the blackouts are. Well, that makes sense. Yep. I don't think we're blacking out, not right away anyway, 'cause we are getting hotels.
• 53:37
We- You can turn anything into a blackout party. Yeah. Okay, all of a sudden, all of a sudden her eyes lit up. We're getting hotel rooms. All of a sudden she's like, "Oh, this is gonna go all night."
• 53:45
I'm just waiting for Lunz to crash his bike again. [laughs] Lu- and the w- Is he gonna show up in his duck thing?... and the worst part for me is, is the start of, like,
• 53:54
this, this is actually how my, I figured my retirement was gonna go, so that's good.
• 53:58
On Friday, those guys are gonna come to Decorah on Friday night, and Saturday we're gonna go over there and race and come back on Sunday. Then I gotta come back here. Wait, I thought the race was Friday. No, Saturday.
• 54:06
[laughs] 6th, I said the 6th. Oh, then I'm probably out. Yeah. C- oh, you were thinking about coming down Friday then going, coming back up. Oh, I gotcha. Yeah, yeah.
• 54:15
Well, I mean, you can come down Friday night if you want to, 'cause those guys are coming to town Friday night. We'll go to Decorah Friday night. Okay. And then we'll, and then we'll bug out, and then we'll take...
• 54:23
We don't have to be up there until 2:00, so you could take off whatever time you need to on Saturday. Okay. And then if Brad gets cold feet, he can come back home with you. [laughs] Yep. 'Cause you're going with Brad.
• 54:34
Okay. Just like that. Look at that. [laughs] I don't know what I just agreed to. [laughs] Well, I have to go down that way anyways to take my dogs to my parents, so that'll work out. Oh, so you're in town anyhow. Yep.
• 54:44
Yeah, okay. Let's make a podcast and make weekend plans. [laughs] Yeah. Let's do that. So, but, but, um, yeah, so that, I, and I said Ward said he had a really good time, so I, um, um- How long... Is this, like, on...
• 54:57
How did you find out about this, through Ward? No, Joe sent me a, a flyer this time. Oh, okay. 'Cause he know we do, he knows we do the clunk, clunker thing, so, yeah.
• 55:03
So it's not like it's posted on Facebook or something? Mm, oh, I think he might, he might post it in his. I don't know what, I don't know what they're tied in with the Osage guys.
• 55:10
I think there's a bike group out at Osage. It has to be, but- I don't even know what they have for trails over there. Do they- Uh, I don't know
• 55:19
I know I've stopped at Old Stage a couple times for ragbrai, but that's just, that's all I remember. Yeah, I don't remember there being any trails. But we could...
• 55:26
But yeah, so that's this weekend, or no, that's May 5th, 6th. I'm sorry, May 6th. May 6th- I also had rhyme the, or Ride the Rim in my calendar. Was that you, or was that Travis?
• 55:36
Oh, I'm not doing it, but that must be Travis. Maybe. I would like to do it, but I don't think I can. People just tell me all these things, and I put it in my calendar- [laughs]... with very minimal details.
• 55:44
I'm just starting to use a calendar, because I realized I really have to. Yep. [laughs] Yeah, like you fight it for a while, and then you're like, "Fuck." I know it. Yep. I learned that with my new job.
• 55:54
I'm like, "Yeah, I can go to a meeting at that day," and then like that day, I'm like, "Hey, we gotta this meeting this afternoon." Like, oh, shit. Whoops. Hey, use a calendar, you nerd. Is there- I got one...
• 56:07
is there any more single speed stuff coming up this spring? Uh, not that I know. Well, um, wa- I guess Sing Wanda has... Gosh, they may have already had it already.
• 56:18
Um, Wanda Kennedy puts on, down in Iowa City, she does a, a, uh, tweed ride. Oh, Tweed's nice. Which I really, and I used to ride my, I used to ride my Penny Farthing at it.
• 56:29
Tweed rides, I think, are really classy and fun. Don't they do a tweed ride, like, in Lanesboro or something, too, I thought? Uh, is that where it's at? Or maybe they go through Wabasha.
• 56:37
I know there's one- Oh, you're right. No, no, there is one done in Wabasha, yes. Yeah. Or Wabasha or Winona, I'm not sure which one, but yeah, there's one down there, yeah. I remember somewhere. Yeah.
• 56:43
It might have been Todd talking about it. I don't remember, but- It was kinda like she was trying to get them started all over the place, and she wanted us to run one up here.
• 56:49
And then I was thinking about it, but then the We Hart Rochester biking group, um, did one. Oh, crap, it's been a long time ago. And it, we had, you know, 2,000 people. There it is. It was fun. Oh, We Bike Rochester.
• 57:04
Yeah. It's like We Hart. We, yeah, We Bike Rochester, what that group is called. But- I'd do a tweed ride. That'd be fun. No, it was cool. I mean, the only- Let's, let's redress... I have a suit.
• 57:11
I have a tweed suit that, like, uh- That, like, do you dress up like old British? Yeah, yeah. Yeah. I, it turned into knickers.
• 57:16
I had an old, I bought, bought a tweed suit, and then I had some inners so I turned them into knickers, and yeah, we, it's, it, and I rode my Penny Farthing. It was fun. That's not a fun bike to ride 10 miles on.
• 57:25
[laughs] That's a lot of work. Sounds like it. And it gets worse after a while, 'cause after a while, you get to the point you can't get on it. Yeah. Once you're on, it's fine, but getting on, it's kinda rough.
• 57:34
You still have that? No. I sold it to JP, who gave it to Greg, and I really don't know where it's at now. How do you get on those? They tried to give it back to me. I almost took it back. How do you get on those?
• 57:44
  There's a step.
• 57:46
But you gotta, like, propel yourself forward, and then kind of- It's, like, two pushes, and then, you know, and it's balance, because, well, the, m- mine was kind of a cheat, because it was made by Coker, and they took and welded
• 57:57
a, uh, free wheel on one side of it, so it actually coasts, 'cause generally they don't. They're like a tricycle front wheel. They're just direct drive. Mm-hmm.
• 58:03
But this one, he actually put a coast on there, so it was, c- I mean, oh, Gare and a couple other guys rode them on it.
• 58:08
We rode them, we used to ride it out in the field out here, because you coast to get started, so you could actually get your shit together before you had to start pedaling. Mm-hmm. Yeah.
• 58:14
So it was a little bit nicer rather than trying to catch a pedal or something. Well, you can't just hop on and go. But there's, you know what? I think you're right. It, it, I think it is- You put a rack on.
• 58:23
[laughs] No, if it's lightweight. [laughs] You know, if it, if it weighs more than, than 750 grams, then fuck no, you can't put that on your bike. All right. We got that checked off. Checked off.
• 58:35
[laughs] Check it off the box. Not everything needs a fucking rack. Thank you for doing that, because we, we're running out of time, and it was just, aw, forgot about the rack thing. [laughs] Not everything needs a rack.
• 58:45
Ding. Yeah. Move on. Yeah. [laughs] Racks are stupid, especially on racing bikes. [laughs] I'm gonna make my bike really light. Yeah, why would you put a rack on a racing bike?
• 58:54
Oh, Greg wanted to, it's funny, he wanted fucking ra- why can't, why can't you just put a, a, a front fork on with all the braze ons for putting racks on when you race?
• 59:03
[laughs] Well, you could, but that sounds really stupid. Why would you waste the time and effort? Let's make a bike really fucking light, and then bitch about adding a heavy rack to it. Yeah.
• 59:12
Well, you can put a- It's like- And Tony's-... a moron... and Tony's just gonna put a fucking motor on it anyway, so what difference does it make to him? [laughs] Oh, this is working out wonderful.
• 59:19
None of it makes any sense to me. [laughs] That's funny. Hard pass. Hard pass. I'll be the hard passing. E tweed. He's gonna E tweed. That's what he's gonna do. Well, that, so we do rides like that, then he can't go.
• 59:36
'Cause the e-bikes aren't allowed. There's probably- 'Cause you can't ride an e-bike on a tweed ride. There's probably a fucking E tweed group. Well, I can- The E tweed tards. I didn't say there- Do they call it that?
• 59:43
I didn't say there wasn't. I'm just saying you can't do that. Guarantee it. The E tweed tards are out there. [laughs] Eh, probably. [laughs] Probably. Did we cover it all? Did you even write it down? I, yep,
• 59:56
I ha- I have show notes. Oh, look at that. Ta-da. Ta-da, we did it. I think we did. Can't cover everything.
• 1:00:01
I know we've got other stuff to cover, but I kinda wanna get at least Spinner and Beck on it, and maybe Shannon again, so we get, you know, the whole group back together.
• 1:00:11
Oh, if he'd come down to the, the, uh, conquer ride, you could, we'd have the whole gang together. [laughs] That would be like, that would be like Berkey. The shit show? The shit show.
• 1:00:23
Well, you'd definitely black out then. No, she didn't. Yeah. No, she would. She might. That's what I'm saying. She definitely would. Well, I'll just bet- I don't know. We drink a lot... wanna place bets? [laughs] Yeah.
• 1:00:33
We drink, and we- Like, like I got- We almost-... like I really have to challenge you. [laughs] We almost- Bet you won't black out. You're like, "Fuck." No, that legit is a challenge. Challenge accepted.
• 1:00:39
We, we almost drank to not being able to drink anymore. Challenge accepted. 'Cause we started, well, you guys were racing. We did. Well, you did the, you did the kids ride. I wanted to- [laughs] Oh, you guys.
• 1:00:49
Don't start. [laughs] You know, I'm kinda mad I didn't go this year, because- Do you see the stats on that kids ride? [laughs] Jeez.
• 1:00:58
Depends on which stats you're looking at, 'cause I'm pretty sure I drank the most shots on the ride. [laughs] For the kids ride. And if I would've built it with time- There wasn't, yeah...
• 1:01:05
I would've stopped and helped that girl. Nobody else's of age. [laughs] Fucked all those kids up with drinking. Yeah. Yeah. Like- There was no kids on that ride... the, the two 11-year-olds finally did drink with me.
• 1:01:14
[laughs] They tapped out after four Capri Suns. [laughs] All right. That's enough. Um, you know, we'll get those guys together. We'll do another one. This one was becoming a regular thing now.
• 1:01:28
Probably never have anybody listen to us, but that's all right. Yeah. It'll be okay. All right. Let's get the heck out of here. Bye. See if this works. Bye. Bye. It doesn't wanna play. Motherfuck.
• 1:01:38
How long- It doesn't, it doesn't connect wires. [laughs] How, it doesn't wanna play. How, it's sleeping. How long will we fuck around with this until he figures it out? I don't know how to say. Let's look at here.
• 1:01:45
Do we have another topic we can cover while he figures this out? [air horn] How about that? Just cover- [laughs]... fucking game. See you later. [laughs]
