  Words that build, not break Words can change the atmosphere

  Proverbs chapter 15 verses one to two says a soft answer turns

  away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.

  It also reminds us that wise words carry knowledge while

  foolish mouths pour out folly. Romans chapter 12, verses 9 to

  10 says Let love be genuine and outdo one another in showing

  honor. That is a different way to live.

  Instead of trying to win every argument, prove every point, or

  get the last word, God calls us to honor others.

  Real love shows up in how we speak, especially when we are

  frustrated. This matters in family

  conversations, friendships, classrooms, workplaces, and

  group chats. It matters when someone annoys

  you. It matters when you feel

  misunderstood. It matters when sarcasm would be

  easy and kindness would take effort.

  Your words are not small. They either build trust or break

  it down. Choosing a soft answer does not

  mean you are weak. It means you are strong enough

  not to be controlled by anger. It means you are wise enough to

  care about the outcome, not just the moment.

  It means you are letting God shape your tongue and your

  heart. Today.

  Ask God to slow your words down before you speak, post, or text.

  Ask whether your words reflect love and honor.

  You may not control how others speak, but you can choose the

  Heavenly Father, thank you for reminding me that my words
