Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Joining me in the studio right now is someone who
- 0:02Speaker 1: always well stands up for what she believes in Kezier Puric,
- 0:06Speaker 1: the member for Goider.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Good morning, Kezier, Hey, good morning Katie. What a deadhead
- 0:12Speaker 2: that poor woman is.
- 0:14Speaker 1: That's what I was going to ask you about before
- 0:15Speaker 1: we start talking about the friend's past rural show.
- 0:18Speaker 3: Kezia, what did you make of her comments?
- 0:21Speaker 2: I actually haven't heard her comments, but clearly they were
- 0:24Speaker 2: very bad and offensive to everyone, including of Evon in
- 0:28Speaker 2: the Northern Territory, but elsewhere. I mean, the woman is
- 0:31Speaker 2: completely off her rocket. I mean, as we would say,
- 0:33Speaker 2: you know, you put your finger in your ear. She's
- 0:35Speaker 2: loco and the hell what the hell she's doing in
- 0:37Speaker 2: the Senate? I don't know. Like seriously, if she's on
- 0:39Speaker 2: the farm, she would have been taking to the bottom
- 0:41Speaker 2: Predic a long time.
- 0:42Speaker 3: Do you reckon? She needs to stand down? Does she
- 0:44Speaker 3: need to stand down?
- 0:46Speaker 2: No, she needs to seriously reflect upon her actions and
- 0:50Speaker 2: her way of operation, and she needs to seriously think
- 0:53Speaker 2: whether she's fit for the Senate of Australia, because I
- 0:58Speaker 2: think she isn't. I don't know what the government of
- 1:01Speaker 2: the day can do or what any of her colleagues,
- 1:04Speaker 2: not that she has any colleagues, but she seriously needs
- 1:07Speaker 2: to have a good look, good hard look at herself,
- 1:09Speaker 2: because if she thinks that's acceptable, she's just not thinking straight.
- 1:14Speaker 2: She's obviously got something wrong with her and needs to
- 1:16Speaker 2: have a good hard look, talk to some people who
- 1:18Speaker 2: can perhaps give her some professional advice, and maybe she
- 1:21Speaker 2: needs a career change. Go off and be an activist
- 1:23Speaker 2: with your people wherever. But she really isn't fit to
- 1:27Speaker 2: be a senator of this country. That's what I reckon, Katie.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Yeah, well I reckon there's going to be a lot
- 1:31Speaker 1: of people that agree with you this morning, now, Kezier,
- 1:35Speaker 1: there has been so much.
- 1:37Speaker 3: News from overnight.
- 1:38Speaker 1: But well, the one thing that everybody is very excited
- 1:42Speaker 1: about on the weekend, the twenty twenty three Friends Past Show.
- 1:46Speaker 3: It's going to be awesome.
- 1:49Speaker 2: It actually is, Katie, because it's in a new location
- 1:51Speaker 2: down towards Lakeview Hall, and a lot of people don't
- 1:54Speaker 2: realize how much there is in French party her. People
- 1:57Speaker 2: just think of just the sporting fixtures and the market.
- 2:00Speaker 2: We go down towards Lakeview Hall, there's a lake, there's
- 2:02Speaker 2: beautiful gardens. People get married there, hugely shady, and of
- 2:06Speaker 2: course if this weather stays like it is, it's going
- 2:08Speaker 2: to be a wonderful weekend. And it starts on Friday
- 2:11Speaker 2: night with the fifty kilometers feet. Now I think there's
- 2:14Speaker 2: still a few tickets such to say, I'll go on
- 2:16Speaker 2: to the fresh Facebook site. That's where they source all
- 2:19Speaker 2: the food for the dinner from within fifty kilometers of
- 2:22Speaker 2: daw say Eva Valley meets. You get barrel Monday from
- 2:26Speaker 2: hunting dow barrow, you get crocodile, you get purled meat,
- 2:29Speaker 2: but not necessarily all tonight or Friday night. They went
- 2:32Speaker 2: last year and I've got tickets to this year and
- 2:34Speaker 2: it is a huge fun evening loose auction items and entertainment.
- 2:38Speaker 2: When year we had the fire Eaters, although it's just extraordinary.
- 2:41Speaker 2: So that's on Friday night, but then the show's on
- 2:43Speaker 2: Saturday and Sunday, so it'll be a lovely weekend. So
- 2:47Speaker 2: I encourage everyone even if you come down just part
- 2:49Speaker 2: of the weekend, you know it's good for a look
- 2:50Speaker 2: and just check out. Well, you know, there's the usual
- 2:53Speaker 2: poultry and goats and horse events and not so cattle,
- 2:56Speaker 2: I don't think, but there could be. Yeah, the wood
- 2:59Speaker 2: chopper is back. Of course, these poor buggers that come
- 3:01Speaker 2: up from Tasmania and we think the weather's lovely. The
- 3:04Speaker 2: poor bases twelve and they really thing that you see
- 3:08Speaker 2: something bit sunburnt. Poor bugs. But they put on a
- 3:12Speaker 2: fabulous shows, you know. And then it's the usual. There's
- 3:15Speaker 2: the whole items, you know, cooking and crafting, and of
- 3:19Speaker 2: course the animal nurse.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Well, everybody loves the animal nursery. So I said to
- 3:23Speaker 3: my in a weak.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Moment, I don't do it again.
- 3:26Speaker 1: And so well, Kesier, can I just say You've got
- 3:31Speaker 1: everybody in like all the young, you know, all the
- 3:34Speaker 1: young and old.
- 3:35Speaker 3: But my kids are like.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Mum, please take us out to see Keasier's nursery.
- 3:41Speaker 3: They're excited. Everyone wants to come out and see it.
- 3:44Speaker 1: So the big question though on everyone's lips, is there
- 3:48Speaker 1: going to be a chook resuscitation demonstration?
- 3:52Speaker 2: Well, I hadn't thought of it, Katie, but that could be.
- 3:54Speaker 2: That could be a good thing to do, because in
- 3:57Speaker 2: all honestly, it's not that difficult. It's the same ashe today.
- 4:01Speaker 2: You just compressed the chest and blow it down their nose.
- 4:06Speaker 2: I did have to find a woman recipient that's the
- 4:08Speaker 2: only problem. So we will have some Maybe I should
- 4:11Speaker 2: bring the chick from home who wants the refucitee. Now
- 4:15Speaker 2: the resacfelly, so we could do a demonstration. But there
- 4:19Speaker 2: will be lots of babies's three dozen chickens and his
- 4:23Speaker 2: ducklings and baby turkeys. And in the instant I'll send
- 4:26Speaker 2: you a photo arms and you're not want to put
- 4:28Speaker 2: it on your Facebook. It's kidding. It's kidding. Time for
- 4:31Speaker 2: the goats and so yes, oh, I know that.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Was going to be my next question.
- 4:37Speaker 2: I know. And if Rob Waite's listening, yes, I've got
- 4:38Speaker 2: my way bill book, and yes I've got there he attacked.
- 4:41Speaker 2: Then oh, and there's so cute like yes that I
- 4:44Speaker 2: helped my mum on the farm late in the afternoon,
- 4:46Speaker 2: and there was a mother who dropped twins and she
- 4:48Speaker 2: hadn't taken them home, but at least she stayed with them.
- 4:51Speaker 2: And then I'd finished working, went home and then then
- 4:54Speaker 2: just caught in the a teeny little squeak and blow
- 4:57Speaker 2: me down on another paddock. A mother had had an
- 5:00Speaker 2: the kid left it. I want to refer to as
- 5:03Speaker 2: a single mother and being uncaring and unloving to her child.
- 5:07Speaker 2: But this poor little ti it had his first drink
- 5:10Speaker 2: but had the nice colossum for the mother. So then
- 5:13Speaker 2: we poked him up, took him home and then put
- 5:16Speaker 2: him in the yard and he squeaked and the mother
- 5:18Speaker 2: came out. Oh there you are kids, Oh ohsy, I
- 5:24Speaker 2: mean we should try and bring that one because it's
- 5:27Speaker 2: really pretty little baby. They're pretty colored. And there'll be
- 5:30Speaker 2: lots of other things to do there for young children,
- 5:32Speaker 2: you know, like saddles and lots of pretend things and
- 5:36Speaker 2: a couple of little guests of jellybeans and jar just
- 5:38Speaker 2: to what feather belongs to what animal type of things.
- 5:41Speaker 2: So there's a bit of stuff for pinkids as well
- 5:43Speaker 2: as little kids.
- 5:44Speaker 1: How wonderful. So what time does it kick off? On
- 5:47Speaker 1: Saturday morning?
- 5:49Speaker 2: Nine o'clock on Saturday nine Sunday nine, Like any show,
- 5:53Speaker 2: I always tell people get there early while everything's fresh
- 5:56Speaker 2: and everyone's happy, and we'll get too hot or some indy,
- 6:00Speaker 2: and of course there's something for everyone just to sit around,
- 6:02Speaker 2: you know, plenty to do. It'll be a lovely time,
- 6:04Speaker 2: so big thanks to Shirley Preston and all her teams.
- 6:08Speaker 2: So I coach everyone come down and have a look
- 6:09Speaker 2: will be a great show.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Wonderful stuff.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Well, Keisier, I'm going to try and get out there
- 6:13Speaker 1: and certainly going to make our way to the to
- 6:15Speaker 1: the nursery. Lovely to speak to you as always, Kesier,
- 6:19Speaker 1: hang on before I let you go, have you got
- 6:20Speaker 1: a request? We know that Tina Turner passed away overnight.
- 6:25Speaker 1: What's your favorite Tina Turner song?
- 6:27Speaker 2: I reckon it'd have to be nutbullsh City Limits.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Oh, there's been a lot of requests for Nutbush that
- 6:33Speaker 1: we'll see.
- 6:33Speaker 2: I grew up that music or her music and that song.
- 6:36Speaker 2: But guarantee, K do you put that on the put
- 6:39Speaker 2: that on the airways anytime and everyone starts jumping around.
- 6:42Speaker 2: It's a real go to song to get you going.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Well.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Crystal has said that she passed away. It was it
- 6:48Speaker 3: was really sad.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I was really sad when I heard that news
- 6:52Speaker 1: this morning, you know, for me, like her voice was.
- 6:55Speaker 3: Part of my growing up and growing up. Yeah, and
- 6:58Speaker 3: that song.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Even my mum thought, you know, I said, oh you
- 7:03Speaker 2: know read about about Tinerton. Oh, yes, very sad. Oh
- 7:06Speaker 2: she had a sad life, so she knew all her life,
- 7:08Speaker 2: you know about her horrible husband in the past, But
- 7:11Speaker 2: then she did so well to bounce back and do
- 7:13Speaker 2: such a wonderful thing in her own life and lives
- 7:15Speaker 2: with so many other people, And of course we'll still
- 7:17Speaker 2: we'll always remember her music and what she did for
- 7:20Speaker 2: us in the music industry.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Yeah, we most certainly will, no doubt about it.
- 7:25Speaker 3: It really is well, Kezier, lovely to speak to you.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Thank you as always, talk soon, see bye bye
