Transcript
- 0:10>> Skylar: Hello, weary traveler. I'm not sure what
- 0:13strange magic must have brought you here, but you have
- 0:16stepped into a realm of my creation. A ah,
- 0:19sprawling city filled with danger and glory
- 0:22and most importantly, lots of gold.
- 0:25I call it Isan Numis. Who am
- 0:28I, you might ask? The name is Jariv,
- 0:31and I'm the patron deity of gambling.
- 0:34Long story short, this group of
- 0:37idiots, or as you may call them, heroes,
- 0:40made a bet with me that they had what it took to make a mass
- 0:43trove of gold, but left some.
- 0:45>> Skylar: Of the key details blank.
- 0:47>> Skylar: So I filled them in myself. I sent
- 0:50them to this pocket dimension into the city I
- 0:53had created with with brand new bodies they'd
- 0:56have to attune to.
- 0:57>> Skylar: Can these fools pass my test?
- 1:00>> Skylar: Or will they be trapped here forever?
- 1:02so experience my world of trials
- 1:05and tribulations and join alongside
- 1:08this posse of pitiful people. Or as I
- 1:11like to call them, the criminals of
- 1:13Isan Numis.
- 1:17>> Skylar: Alright, ah, welcome back everybody to another episode. Episode
- 1:2017 specifically of Criminals of Violland
- 1:22Numis. We are here with the same crew as last
- 1:25time and once again unfortunately Jackson is
- 1:28not able to be here with us currently. but
- 1:32Des is out and about causing some
- 1:35trouble somewhere in town. Who knows? And
- 1:38who knows what he'll accomplish and bring back to the rest of the group
- 1:41once he does return. But in the
- 1:43meantime with me, I've got Quinn who plays
- 1:46Lil Sauce. I've got
- 1:49Fatty Lumpkins who plays Keto the
- 1:51Cobalt. I've got Cameron who
- 1:54plays Roric the goblin.
- 1:57And Dave who plays
- 1:59Machki the sorcerer Kenu.
- 2:02And with that we will just jump right back into
- 2:05things.
- 2:11So you guys just left the county courthouse,
- 2:14whatever you want to call it. I really like it. They don't see
- 2:17court hearing so it seems weird to call it a courthouse, but it's where
- 2:20you do all your paperwork and all the
- 2:22gross bureaucracy kind of junk
- 2:25that nobody likes to do. And you
- 2:28guys are have stolen
- 2:30some official documents to help kind of get you guys
- 2:33through. What is your next step as your friend
- 2:36sits in a prison cell
- 2:39somewhere.
- 2:40>> Fatty Lumpkins: Holding documents that we stole the
- 2:42biography on McGriddle over there that tells
- 2:45us like when and where his court proceeding
- 2:48is?
- 2:49>> Skylar: Well, that even that note on the front of the
- 2:51door told you where and when it was gonna be at.
- 2:54>> Fatty Lumpkins: Oh, okay.
- 2:54>> Skylar: Yeah. So I mean you have that information for sure.
- 2:57>> Fatty Lumpkins: And I assume it s just at the local police station then?
- 2:59>> Skylar: there's like a building right next to the police station. That's where they do a lot of the court
- 3:02Hearings.
- 3:03>> Fatty Lumpkins: Okay.
- 3:04>> Dave: Whatn head to the nearest borebucks
- 3:07and grab a coffee and fill out this
- 3:09paperwork.
- 3:10>> Skylar: All right, so you're trying to get.
- 3:13You guys basically have the paperwork
- 3:16to be a law firm. Yes. So that you
- 3:19can represent your friend. Okay, sounds good. Sounds good. what
- 3:22about the other two of you guys? As he's filling out the paperwork
- 3:25and getting stuff kind of shifted over, using
- 3:28some various magic to make the official
- 3:31seal seam like it's on the paperwork that you're filling out,
- 3:34what are the other two of you doing?
- 3:36>> Fatty Lumpkins: looking for information on the judge.
- 3:39>> Skylar: Okay, sounds good. I will
- 3:42clarify from last episode. Noodle Wiggle
- 3:45is not a judge,
- 3:47unfortunately. he is not the judge that will be
- 3:50overseeing this. the judge overseeing this
- 3:53is Judge Pharaoh. That's
- 3:56his last name. But you use the last nameuse it's a, you
- 3:59know, high ranking office. I mean, what are you curious
- 4:02about as far as like him as a person?
- 4:05>> Fatty Lumpkins: Probably. If we are looking to put a little pressure
- 4:08on him, if that is the route we decide to go,
- 4:11maybe worth noting where he
- 4:14practices, where he.
- 4:16>> Skylar: Like where his office is set up.
- 4:17>> Fatty Lumpkins: Y like where his office is or if it has a home
- 4:20address or some contact info.
- 4:22>> Skylar: I don't think it would have a home address contact info.
- 4:25but you assume that all the
- 4:28offices are at the same kind in that
- 4:31same area, that same district. They can easily
- 4:33walk over and do a hearing or they're
- 4:36pretty much just there all day. Maybe they got an office in the
- 4:39actual hearing
- 4:41courtroom area. The building. The same building.
- 4:44I'm not.
- 4:45>> Fatty Lumpkins: I'never pressure to judge before in a court
- 4:48proceeding.
- 4:49>> Skylar: Do you guys have any idea where.
- 4:50>> Fatty Lumpkins: They'Re so called weak points would be?
- 4:54>> Cameron: M maybe. Maybe Donuts.
- 4:56>> Fatty Lumpkins: That's a policeman. I don't know if judges have that
- 4:59affinity.
- 5:00>> Cameron: Oh, ivory
- 5:03gavelsmm m oh, gold
- 5:05plated gavels.
- 5:07>> Fatty Lumpkins: Maybe we should visit the armory and see if they have
- 5:09any warhammer that would work
- 5:12to bribe him.
- 5:14>> Cameron: Ooo, he'd make all the other
- 5:16judges jealous of his hammer.
- 5:19>> Skylar: Starting to sound like an innuendo.
- 5:20>> Cameron: Oh, thanks waitress. that was my goal in the
- 5:23jokeah.
- 5:23>> Quinn: That sounded like an awful lot like an innuendo over there with
- 5:26this big giant hammer.
- 5:28>> Cameron: Hey Maikey, make it a headway on that.
- 5:30>> Dave: U I'm working on it here. Ah,
- 5:33just ah, waiting for the
- 5:36ink to draw here. so
- 5:39I have expert forgery skills which
- 5:42can be. It gives me advantage on making
- 5:45forgeries.
- 5:45>> Skylar: Oh, okay. All right. Yeah, roll me.
- 5:48What would a forgery you're doing magical forgery,
- 5:51right? No, no. Oh, you're just doing a
- 5:54copy.
- 5:54>> Dave: So maybe I need to go. I, don't know if
- 5:57I have a forgery kit, actually.
- 5:59>> Skylar: Oh, here's what I'll say. You're able to,
- 6:02at pretty much any general store, get
- 6:05the technically basic supplies for, like, a
- 6:08gold piece. To have the essential
- 6:11basic concepts of a forgery kit at ah
- 6:14least for what you need it for, which is basically just ink
- 6:17quill, maybe some measurement tools to kind of help
- 6:20you get certain lines and stuff just right. Okay.
- 6:23>> Dave: Before we go to this coffee shop, we,
- 6:26make a pit stop, and let's say I got that.
- 6:28>> Skylar: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Absolutely. Okay. Awesome. So you're
- 6:31working. You're plugging away at these. shoot. I got still
- 6:34gotta figure out what the heck that I want to say. Sleight
- 6:37of hand kind of makes the most sen. Be
- 6:40performance or performance. That works for me.
- 6:43And then you'd have advantage on it some good.
- 6:45>> Dave: I got a, 17.
- 6:46>> Skylar: 17, all right. Yeah, you make. I mean, unless
- 6:49someone took magnifying glass or,
- 6:52you know, maybe it's somebody that's been doing this for years and they're
- 6:55like a real hard ass about it or something, Nobody'snna
- 6:58know that this is off. And even if they did notice it
- 7:01was off, I think with the way that maybe there's a
- 7:04couple of little. Like the ink went just a little
- 7:07bit too far onto the paper ever so slightly in certain
- 7:10spots, to like, a minuscule amount. Even if
- 7:13somebody did notice these, they just assumed that maybe
- 7:16someone got a little bit too much ink when they stamped it or something like that.
- 7:19M. So it is pretty dang good.
- 7:22And the average checker is
- 7:25not gonna notice that this isn't what it should be. Well, let
- 7:28me ask you this. What name do you put down on the
- 7:31sheet? Well, not so much for the law firm, because I think what did
- 7:34we go if. The Kobold,
- 7:36bird and goblin. Yeah,
- 7:39okay.
- 7:40>> Dave: kgv.
- 7:40>> Skylar: The KGV law firm. And then what
- 7:43is like, the names you put down for those
- 7:46that are representing this firm?
- 7:48>> Cameron: I think you should put down our names we have on our
- 7:50ids. So mine's Fizzle
- 7:53Fingers, Ichthoglyr
- 7:55skin.
- 8:01>> Skylar: Oh, okay. Just in came.
- 8:03>> Dave: It's because it's Kobold, Goblin and
- 8:06birds. Plural.
- 8:07>> Skylar: Small. Yeah. Yeah. I.
- 8:10The DM Would just like to say that I made these character sheets,
- 8:13obviously at the beginning of this campaign with these fake names on it. And
- 8:16you guys immediately asked me, why the heck do we need these stupid
- 8:19fake names. And I'm so glad that they finally came
- 8:22into play. I did it. I feel great. And you're
- 8:25right. They are on the ids. And honestly, I think that will
- 8:27be an added key piece to the
- 8:30equation. So good job. I think that's good. I think
- 8:33that's.
- 8:34>> Dave: We already have ids.
- 8:35>> Skylar: Y.
- 8:35>> Quinn: We have.
- 8:36>> Cameron: So we used our actual names. We wouldn't have
- 8:39any ID to back it up. But with our
- 8:42ids, we do have it. legal papers
- 8:45to back up.
- 8:46>> Skylar: Yeah, absolutely.
- 8:47>> Cameron: do we need to, like, put our fingerprints on it or something
- 8:50to make it final, or is it just, like, our
- 8:53names are good enough?
- 8:55>> Dave: I look at the sheet. I don't know.
- 8:58>> Skylar: Sorry, what was the question?
- 8:59>> Cameron: I don't think it's do we need to put our
- 9:01fingerprints on it, or is it just signature, just
- 9:04signature?
- 9:05>> Dave: Your little feet print just like.
- 9:07>> Cameron: Like a little newbon.
- 9:09>> Skylar: Because fantasy races are so broad, I think
- 9:12it would be, like, kind of almost offensive or
- 9:15gatekeeping to make you do, like, a fingerprint or something
- 9:18like that. And a claw print doesn't have the
- 9:21same kind of, like, individuality to it and things like that.
- 9:24So, no, they don't have something like that.
- 9:25>> Cameron: It's just your name signatures at the bottom. All right, I'll
- 9:28give him my old Jim parsnip.
- 9:30That was the John Hancock.
- 9:33>> Skylar: Oh, of this world. Yeah. I'm going to take a
- 9:35moment to cut over to
- 9:39feather McGregor in
- 9:41holding.
- 9:42>> Dave: He's got a bedeet wrapped around his neck.
- 9:45>> Skylar: Oh, no. There's a dude that's just beating
- 9:48him with a pillowcase full of soap.
- 9:50>> Dave: The guards are napping.
- 9:53>> Cameron: O, no, you're.
- 9:55>> Skylar: You're brought into a holding
- 9:57roomkay and you're sat down. It's a
- 9:59classic. Like, it's all wood
- 10:02room. And they sit you down on a.
- 10:04>> Skylar: Really uncomfortable wooden chair.
- 10:06>> Cameron: How soon is this?
- 10:07>> Skylar: This is, like, where they took them straight after they arrested him. So this will
- 10:10be like, little bit. A little bit. Yeah. This
- 10:13is seeing your side of what's going on. they sit you
- 10:16down and, you sit there for good, like,
- 10:1820 minutes. And you're just like. Well, I feel like
- 10:21you probably have seen this process before. You know that they're
- 10:24just trying to wait you out a little bit. They're kind of trying
- 10:27to get you uncomfortable, get you frustrated. All of a
- 10:30sudden, dude bursts in the door. He's a
- 10:33tiefling. He wears a long overcoat.
- 10:36he's got bright red skin. He's got horns.
- 10:39That come up to about half a
- 10:42foot up from his. Kind of. Around his forehead.
- 10:45and he's got a book in his hands. And
- 10:48he sits down across from you and he says,
- 10:51well, well, well, Feather
- 10:53mcgregor.
- 10:56So I've seen your file. I know
- 10:59you work for blank space.
- 11:02And, you know, I'm just trying to figure
- 11:04out how a guy like you
- 11:08who works for a secret police organization
- 11:11goes so far off the deep end.
- 11:14>> Quinn: These guys don't know who I am. I'm undercover. I'm just
- 11:17doing what I've done for the last 20 years.
- 11:19>> Skylar: Yeah. Okay, so you've been killing
- 11:22people for the last 20 years. Is that what you're telling me?
- 11:25>> Quinn: Being undercover is the most important part. You should
- 11:28know that more than anybody. You
- 11:31can't break. You can't break the.
- 11:34But I don't remember killing anybody.
- 11:38>> Skylar: We get you down for five counts of felony
- 11:40murder. And that's just the start.
- 11:43We've got you down for killing. Let's see
- 11:46here. Oh, looks like a noble.
- 11:49his three bodyguards, a.
- 11:52His carriage driver,
- 11:55and it looks like,
- 11:59some questionable individual. Now, you might not get as
- 12:02much time on that questionable, questionable
- 12:04individual, but I tell guarantee you're going to get quite
- 12:07a bit of time on that noble.
- 12:09>> Quinn: I can tell you I was present.
- 12:11>> Skylar: Oh, yeah.
- 12:12>> Quinn: And did my best to stop.
- 12:14>> Skylar: But was present at the scene.
- 12:17>> Dave: Who was he talking to?
- 12:18>> Skylar: Right now he's talking to a, dude
- 12:21that came into his holding cell and his chatting with him.
- 12:24>> Quinn: You should t. You should know that I'd be there. But
- 12:26I don't. I don't actively commit these murders. They
- 12:29happen when I'm around. I'm undercover.
- 12:32>> Skylar: They happen when you're around. Undercover. That's an
- 12:35interesting statement.
- 12:36>> Quinn: Y. This really shouldn't be an issue
- 12:38whatsoever.
- 12:39>> Skylar: Oh, all right. All right. Well, I'm justnna tell you right now that
- 12:42it is, it is an issue
- 12:45because here's the thing. We have
- 12:47a statement that
- 12:50puts you at the scene, and it's not
- 12:53mentioning really anybody else.
- 12:55>> Quinn: I've been with a group the whole time. I've been pretty much
- 12:58everywhere. Yeah, but
- 13:01don't. I don't deny that these deaths probably happened. I don't
- 13:04know.
- 13:04>> Skylar: Well, I can tell you they did happen.
- 13:07And it sounds like. I mean, you just admitted you were
- 13:10there.
- 13:10>> Quinn: Duh.
- 13:12>> Skylar: Oh, well, great.
- 13:13>> Quinn: Pretty. Pretty, You know how many murders I've witnessed
- 13:16being undercover?
- 13:18417.
- 13:21>> Skylar: Right on. It gets to you, doesn't it?
- 13:23>> Quinn: And it does.
- 13:24>> Skylar: Maybe.
- 13:24>> Quinn: I don't know.
- 13:25>> Skylar: Yeah, maybe Maybe. Maybe you kind of want to try it out for
- 13:28yourself.
- 13:30>> Quinn: I mean, I've killed bad people. I m
- 13:33pretty sure its in the file.
- 13:34>> Skylar: Oh, yeah. I mean, I've seen your extensive police
- 13:37history with blank space and so on.
- 13:39>> Quinn: So I do things that you couldn't.
- 13:41>> Skylar: Well, sure, I'm just a, you know, I'm just a
- 13:44prosecuting attorney, so. Yeah, you're right. It's things that
- 13:47I wouldn't do. But we all
- 13:50have different jobs, and, today my job
- 13:53is to try to figure out why you
- 13:56did the bad things you did. And it makes my job a hell of
- 13:58a lot easier tomorrow when we go to court
- 14:01for the initial hearings. I mean, then my job, what,
- 14:04probably three days after that when we do the
- 14:07official hearing.
- 14:08>> Quinn: Yeah. Didn't kill anybody.
- 14:10>> Skylar: H. All right, well, I got evidence that says he did.
- 14:13>> Quinn: Let we see the evidence.
- 14:15>> Skylar: You'll see it. You'll see it during
- 14:17the court hearing for sure.
- 14:19>> Quinn: Okay.
- 14:20>> Skylar: And I'll be mentioning that you did admit that you
- 14:23were present.
- 14:25>> Quinn: I'll tell him it was pretty obvious that I was there
- 14:28around for most of these murder.
- 14:31>> Skylar: How do you figure? What makes it obvious
- 14:33if I'm undercover.
- 14:34>> Quinn: With the people in the groups that are involved in
- 14:37killings.
- 14:39>> Skylar: Again, I don't know anything about it. I don't know anything about this
- 14:41group. All I got is do you think, cover for.
- 14:44I don't know what you're gonna cover exactly.
- 14:46>> Quinn: Why would you know what I was?
- 14:48>> Skylar: As far as I'm aware, you're not undercover. You're just out killing
- 14:51people.
- 14:51>> Quinn: You just, you know that I work where I work and what I
- 14:54do.
- 14:56>> Skylar: You know, I. I'm just gonna just come forward and say,
- 14:58I. I'm just prosecuting attorney.
- 15:01I. I don't know much about who you are.
- 15:04>> Quinn: You don't know what you're talking about.
- 15:05>> Skylar: I.
- 15:06>> Quinn: You just admit you don't know what you're talking about.
- 15:08>> Skylar: I mean, I read your file. I read that. I read the stuff
- 15:11that,
- 15:11>> Quinn: Yeah, I want my lawyers.
- 15:13>> Skylar: Oh, yeah. See, there we go.
- 15:14>> Quinn: Yeah. Just.
- 15:15>> Skylar: Yeah, there it is. Yeah. I can't coax you in. Anything else?
- 15:18Any. Anything else you want to admit to stealing the
- 15:21horse. They were, you know, all that kind of stuff, like, just so I can
- 15:24mark the horses, you know, with the. With the
- 15:27cart. The one that we found behind your
- 15:30house.
- 15:31>> Quinn: Yeah, I'm pretty sure I know who did it.
- 15:33>> Skylar: Oh, yeah. Was his name. Let me check
- 15:36here. By any chance, was his name, the
- 15:39sl. Feather McGregor? Because
- 15:42that's what I've got down on.
- 15:43>> Quinn: My pa. Oh, really?
- 15:44>> Cameron: Yeah, yeah.
- 15:45>> Quinn: Not the Slicer or.
- 15:47>> Skylar: No, I mean the Slicers.
- 15:49>> Quinn: One died. Name?
- 15:51>> Skylar: Lord, Pendleton.
- 15:53>> Quinn: One of his guys, maybe the carriage driver.
- 15:56>> Skylar: Oh, they're dead. We've got their
- 15:59bodies.
- 16:00>> Quinn: Those. I don't know. The Slicer has a lot of people working for
- 16:03him.
- 16:03>> Skylar: It's Slicers dead.
- 16:05>> Quinn: Well, yeah.
- 16:06>> Skylar: Got his body.
- 16:07>> Quinn: Yeah. I'm trying to work on. Trying to eliminate
- 16:10that organization right now.
- 16:12>> Skylar: The Thieves Guild as a whole.
- 16:15Yeah, that's a pretty big bust. But, again.
- 16:18>> Quinn: And you're not helping things right now, are you?
- 16:21>> Skylar: Again, I'm just working with what I've been given, which is
- 16:24I got you for five counts of felony murder, and that's in one of
- 16:27them being a noble, and that's pretty big
- 16:29deal.
- 16:30>> Quinn: Cool.
- 16:31>> Skylar: All right, well, if that's all, I'm sure they can
- 16:34give you your call and you can get a hold of yourlegal team, stuff like that. So,
- 16:37you know, thank you, though. Seriously think. I really appreciate you
- 16:39mentioning the bitid about being at the scene.
- 16:42that'snn be.
- 16:43>> Quinn: I think these was there. Yeah.
- 16:45>> Skylar: Okay. I'm not falling for that. I've heard that one before.
- 16:48And he walks out. And as after he walks
- 16:51out, an officer comes in and he says,
- 16:54>> Cameron: yeah, so, get, your call for your
- 16:56legal team. here is,
- 16:59asceding horn. So you just,
- 17:01You ever used one of these before?
- 17:04>> Quinn: N. No.
- 17:05>> Cameron: basically you're just gonna. You're just gonna put the
- 17:07horn up to your mouth.
- 17:10>> Skylar: It's like a speaking horn, just to clarify. Not like a bugle or something
- 17:13like that. It's like one you would shout through, Right?
- 17:15>> Cameron: Yeah.
- 17:16>> Cameron: And then so basically you just put it up to your lips. You think
- 17:18about who it is that you want to contact, and then
- 17:21you speak your message and it sends it to them and you guys can
- 17:24have a quick communication. You got three
- 17:27minutes. So, I'm going to step out of the room,
- 17:30leave you to it, and, I'll be back to
- 17:33grab the horn as soon as you're dead.
- 17:35>> Skylar: And he steps out.
- 17:37>> Quinn: So here's my legal team.
- 17:39>> Skylar: That's up to you or whoever you want to contact.
- 17:42Doesn't have to be your legal team. Could be your mom, the chief down.
- 17:45>> Quinn: At the Blank space.
- 17:47>> Speaker I: All right, Feather, what are you.
- 17:50What are you calling me for?
- 17:52>> Quinn: Yeah, so, all this undercover
- 17:55work and everything. Yeah, yeah, they,
- 17:57got me on five counts of murder.
- 18:00>> Speaker I: Yeah, I heard about that. yeah,
- 18:02this is supp Posing a bit of a problem.
- 18:05>> Cameron: U.
- 18:06>> Quinn: this has happened to many agents in the past. Why don't you
- 18:08just tell them what I'm doing?
- 18:10>> Speaker I: Feather, this wasn't one of our cases.
- 18:13>> Quinn: What were are you talking about?
- 18:14>> Speaker I: I mean, we didn't have you on.
- 18:16>> Skylar: A case, and to top it off, you technically
- 18:18quite.
- 18:19>> Quinn: But you knew what I was doing.
- 18:21>> Speaker I: Not really. I told you I didn't really know what you were doing. You
- 18:24told me you had a bunch of guys that you were following. I said,
- 18:26okay, if you feel like.
- 18:28>> Quinn: Well, you m. Maybe if you would have made a case and made
- 18:31an issue out of this, we wouldn't be in the situation.
- 18:34You should have listened to me when I said what I said, and I
- 18:37just hang out.
- 18:38>> Dave: Oh, no.
- 18:39>> Quinn: Yeah, he's noting help.
- 18:40>> Skylar: That took 30 seconds. I'll say that you
- 18:43can. You still got another two and a half minutes.
- 18:46>> Quinn: Okay. Contact jar.
- 18:48>> Dave: Jim, do you have the talking.
- 18:51>> Skylar: Yeah. You don't have the walk talkie? Rocky, that's the only way to
- 18:54contact a deity. If it was that easy. If
- 18:57it was that easy, Imagine every, like, pastor,
- 18:59priest, whatever. every church is like, dude, give me one of them
- 19:02horns, man. I can talk to the. They would probably
- 19:05lose their job, because then anybody could just go up there and be like, al
- 19:08right, get. Tell us what to do, and then let
- 19:11God talk through the horn.
- 19:14>> Quinn: Algh. So I would like to
- 19:17contact Maki Moni.
- 19:19>> Skylar: Oh, interesting choice.
- 19:21>> Quinn: Hey, it's feather.
- 19:23>> Skylar: Maci, you get a weird, like, voice of feather
- 19:25mcgregor in your head.
- 19:27>> Speaker I: M. This scone is delicious. O.
- 19:30Hello.
- 19:31>> Quinn: Hey. Hey. This Feather. Feather little
- 19:34sauce.
- 19:35>> Speaker I: My favorite client.
- 19:36>> Quinn: How are you doing,
- 19:39client? what do you mean?
- 19:41>> Speaker I: Well, my favorite and only client of the newly
- 19:44established KGB law firm.
- 19:47Don't worry, buddy. We got your back.
- 19:49>> Quinn: Oh, well, I was gonna have you guys find me a
- 19:52lawyer, but it sounds like you guys have already found me one. Are
- 19:55they reputable? Yeah, we're very rep. What do you
- 19:58mean, we? What do you mean, we?
- 20:01>> Speaker I: We. You know, we didn't want to mess around,
- 20:04so we got the best.
- 20:05>> Quinn: Oh, you. Oh, you got, Oh, you got. Oh,
- 20:08you got the best. Oh, so you're telling
- 20:11me. I mean, I know he's expensive, but,
- 20:14But,
- 20:15>> Speaker I: Well, we can discuss my feel.
- 20:17>> Quinn: Well, you're. You didn't get James. Defendant.
- 20:20You didn't get James the.
- 20:23The James. The defendant. That's his last name is the
- 20:26defendant. No,
- 20:28so. Oh, you got his son
- 20:32Tim, the defendant.
- 20:33>> Dave: You got fouros here.
- 20:36>> Quinn: I've never heard of them.
- 20:37>> Skylar: Who?
- 20:38>> Quinn: Can I talk to him?
- 20:41>> Dave: I put my head together.
- 20:46>> Skylar: all of a sudden you all hear Feather McGregor's
- 20:48voice in all of your heads. But it's using more of
- 20:51your time more quickly.
- 20:53>> Quinn: Yeah, u so u. Yeah, can I talk to my
- 20:56defendants? I appreciate your clients on the phone here.
- 20:59>> Speaker I: Don't say anything.
- 21:00>> Quinn: Wait a minute.
- 21:01>> Speaker I: Very good point. I sure said that first. We'll
- 21:04be there shortly. We have to finish bog
- 21:07meet.
- 21:11>> Skylar: And time runs.
- 21:15>> Quinn: I just. I just sit there and I just.
- 21:18I just hand the horn back to the guy.
- 21:21I'm scared.
- 21:21>> Skylar: Yeah. He comes back in and he picks.
- 21:23>> Quinn: It up ands I'm laughing. I'm
- 21:25screwed.
- 21:26>> Skylar: About 15 minutes later, and the
- 21:29door opens once again, and in
- 21:32walks 1 keanku, 2
- 21:35keu, a goblin and a coboal.
- 21:37>> Cameron: Do we have suits on?
- 21:39>> Skylar: I love the idea.
- 21:40>> Fatty Lumpkins: I like to find that we'found a tie.
- 21:41>> Cameron: At least we all have ties. I have m a Mickey mo.
- 21:44>> Skylar: So that'it is just a tie. Like, you're like,
- 21:47totally.
- 21:47>> Cameron: It's normal outfit. We just all have
- 21:50matching ties.
- 21:51>> Skylar: Yes, I like that.
- 21:52>> Cameron: What color, guys, what color ties?
- 21:54>> Skylar: Maybe purple or a print. Yeah, see if it's
- 21:57good.
- 21:57>> Dave: Purple would go gray with my robe.
- 21:59>> Cameron: Okay, so purple. But it's like, it's got like.
- 22:02>> Fatty Lumpkins: Purple really clashes with my blue.
- 22:05>> Cameron: Well, we only think one color. so how
- 22:07about purple but with like, blue
- 22:10accent?
- 22:11>> Fatty Lumpkins: Yes.
- 22:12>> Cameron: Blue argy. Oh, there you go.
- 22:15Purple and blue argy. There we go.
- 22:17>> Skylar: All right.
- 22:18>> Cameron: What say you does?
- 22:19>> Skylar: Yes.
- 22:20>> Cameron: Okay, Des is in. Now we come
- 22:23back to us walking in. Right? Right.
- 22:25>> Skylar: Then you're walking in with, purple.
- 22:26>> Cameron: Argyle fixing his tile as he
- 22:29walks in.
- 22:30>> Cameron: these individuals said they're your, legal team.
- 22:33Are you willing to accept them?
- 22:35>> Quinn: at this point, I don't have a choice.
- 22:38Yeah, I take them.
- 22:39>> Cameron: All right. I, let you guys, do.
- 22:41>> Skylar: Your thing and he closes the door, and
- 22:44you guys are all in this little kind of like holding space,
- 22:47questioning space to, offer legal counsel to your
- 22:50friend.
- 23:04>> Fatty Lumpkins: All right, what have they got you for
- 23:06mcgregor?
- 23:07>> Quinn: U five counts of murder.
- 23:09>> Cameron: That's it. This case is gonna be the
- 23:12easiest case yet in my career.
- 23:14>> Quinn: And if we happen to make complete.
- 23:16>> Cameron: Fools of ourselves, your bail'only 500 gold
- 23:19pieces.
- 23:20>> Quinn: Oh, that's it.
- 23:20>> Skylar: Just to clarify, so that I understand, but
- 23:23bail doesn't mean you're just like scot free.
- 23:26>> Cameron: No, that's a hundred percent what it doesn't mean.
- 23:29>> Skylar: Yeah, I was gonna say because you, you when you said that
- 23:32there, you had me worried that's like, your bail is only 500 bucks. We'll
- 23:34get you out of here. No big deal. And I'm like, wait, hold on.
- 23:37>> Quinn: Hey, you guys. You guys got the rock on you? You's got the
- 23:40rock.
- 23:41>> Cameron: Wa.
- 23:41>> Skylar: I know. I was gonna. I was just about to go.
- 23:43>> Skylar: What do you guys need?
- 23:45>> Cameron: There he is. There's our fifth member.
- 23:47>> Skylar: He's fixing his blue. His purple ar.
- 23:49>> Skylar: Right?
- 23:51>> Dave: The biggest ku you
- 23:54pe.
- 23:54>> Skylar: And it's a really. It's like a really tiny tie.
- 23:57Like, he's like a big, giant man.
- 23:58>> Cameron: Withy five set we got for the.
- 24:01>> Skylar: Little tie, the Rocky talky. Who has the Rocky.
- 24:04>> Dave: I have no idea.
- 24:05>> Cameron: pretty.
- 24:05>> Skylar: I mean, one of you. Ah, yeah. One of you has
- 24:08it Pr. Mak. I think that sounds right.
- 24:10>> Dave: Here it is, right in my pocket.
- 24:14>> Quinn: Yeah. can I see it for second?
- 24:16>> Skylar: Sure. O. You guys haven't used your question for today.
- 24:19>> Cameron: I didn't use it yesterday because your.
- 24:20>> Skylar: Question was going to be do banks
- 24:23avnuran than I should have asked.
- 24:25>> Quinn: Thatness. All right, so I shake.
- 24:27>> Cameron: Are you gonna ask if banks have insurance?
- 24:29>> Quinn: Oh, no, I'm gonna ask some douse.
- 24:31>> Skylar: Hello, Philather McGregor.
- 24:33>> Cameron: Are you about to ask me if.
- 24:36>> Skylar: Banks in this world are insured? M.
- 24:38No.
- 24:39>> Quinn: So. no. No, I'm not.
- 24:42>> Skylar: O.
- 24:43>> Quinn: So what's the best offense to
- 24:46use that will get me out of this?
- 24:48>> Skylar: Mmm. M. Usually I say deny,
- 24:51deny, deny.
- 24:52>> Quinn: But you know what will get me out of this? Oh, what's the
- 24:55one defense I can use it get me out of that.
- 24:57>> Cameron: It's definitely insane.
- 24:58>> Skylar: Well, the defenses are as
- 25:01varied as the
- 25:04arguments and the evidence that can be produced. But
- 25:07one thing that I will say is if they
- 25:10use magic, then
- 25:13make sure you say that
- 25:16it is an untrustworthy source
- 25:19and can easily be manipulated.
- 25:22And that usually trumps quite a
- 25:25bit.
- 25:26>> Quinn: Of the can you just bring the people that died back to life?
- 25:28>> Cameron: Or.
- 25:29>> Skylar: I. No, I can't do that.
- 25:31>> Quinn: Well, you literally can.
- 25:33>> Skylar: No, I can't.
- 25:35I truly can't.
- 25:37>> Cameron: Could you've at least given all the guards different voices
- 25:40in this world?
- 25:41>> Skylar: No, I'm just the deity of gambling.
- 25:44That's. That's what I do.
- 25:47>> Cameron: Then how come there's only, like, two casinos in
- 25:49this whole place?
- 25:50>> Skylar: What are you talking about? There's plenty of casinos.
- 25:54>> Cameron: What?
- 25:55>> Skylar: There's a casino in every district.
- 25:57>> Cameron: I'm sorry, Jar Jim. I guess my client is withholding
- 26:00information from me.
- 26:01>> Skylar: Oh, good, good. That's what he's supposed
- 26:04to do, but he hasn't Done it very well
- 26:07so far.
- 26:08>> Cameron: What does that mean?
- 26:09>> Skylar: Oh, I think you should ask him.
- 26:11>> Cameron: I. Heroic turns and goes. What's that
- 26:14mean? Well, sa.
- 26:15>> Dave: What have you told them?
- 26:17>> Cameron: Jium?
- 26:17>> Skylar: All right. Here's the best defense.
- 26:20When all else fails,
- 26:23look for a.
- 26:24>> Dave: Weapon under the roots of the manoa r
- 26:27de.
- 26:30>> Cameron: And then when the judges say.
- 26:33Jerry, what if I be. a
- 26:35verdict? Pull out the weapon and
- 26:38yell. For I am the sword of
- 26:40excalibur. You bend to my will. And they all
- 26:43will bow. For I'PLACED a
- 26:46loophole in this place that
- 26:49everyone must respond to. Your name. Once
- 26:52finding the sword, then you will become
- 26:55king of this land. And Allah will be
- 26:58irrefutable to your name, where you can
- 27:01bend the blass themselves to your
- 27:04will. At that point, we will have all
- 27:07the money in this world under your
- 27:10legion. And we can firmly burst
- 27:13from this world's mortal coil
- 27:15back to the real world.
- 27:18Is that what he says?
- 27:20>> Skylar: If all else fails,
- 27:22plead the
- 27:2428th.
- 27:27>> Quinn: What's the 28?
- 27:28>> Skylar: Oh, you'll see. But it'll get you out of just
- 27:31about anything.
- 27:33>> Quinn: Didn most people not know about it or.
- 27:35>> Skylar: U. it's not widely used.
- 27:38>> Quinn: Is it gonna cause me problems down the line?
- 27:40>> Skylar: You're asking me more than one question. I've already answered two,
- 27:43technically, so I gott a skedaddle.
- 27:46>> Quinn: I really don't like you sometimes.
- 27:48>> Skylar: Sorry to hear that.
- 27:49>> Quinn: Other times, you're quite alright.
- 27:52>> Skylar: I'm glad I've hit a good balance.
- 27:55>> Quinn: Bye.
- 27:57>> Cameron: As your lawyer, I advise you never to plead the
- 27:5928th. That's the law. 28th
- 28:02again, none of you have
- 28:05like actual.
- 28:06>> Skylar: Otherwise you'd know exactly what the 28th.
- 28:08>> Quinn: The guy. The guy that knows everything about this world
- 28:11said to do it. So I think that's gonna be our plan here.
- 28:14>> Cameron: But he's put us here to punish us.
- 28:17>> Fatty Lumpkins: Yeah, I don't know if he's your friend. He's certainly not
- 28:19our friend.
- 28:21>> Quinn: Yeah, but he still wants us to go through. He bet
- 28:24that we could do this. So this
- 28:27is holding us up or holding you up?
- 28:30So he bet that we could do this,
- 28:33right?
- 28:34>> Skylar: No, I think he bet that you couldn't.
- 28:36>> Cameron: Yeah, he bet that we couldn't. And also
- 28:39he didn't bet about you. Just saying.
- 28:42So he might be using you to holdull this back,
- 28:45if anything.
- 28:45>> Quinn: Well, I don't feel like he'd be the kind too to
- 28:48make a bet unfair.
- 28:50>> Fatty Lumpkins: This is the same God who just, The same
- 28:53deity who just pulled the wool over your eyes and
- 28:56showed you that your entire existence is for naught. So are you
- 28:58really gonna trust him at his face value?
- 29:01>> Quinn: I thought we asked him questions, he had to give us the
- 29:03answer.
- 29:05>> Cameron: yeah, I guess, truthfully he said that, but he also could have been
- 29:07lying when he said that.
- 29:09>> Quinn: What else? What other options we got? I mean, I feel like
- 29:12he. If he's a, gambling God, he
- 29:14likes fair bet, so
- 29:17it's got toa be fair. I feel like he's fair
- 29:20and just, just you gotta uphold your into the bet.
- 29:24So I a. At this point where what other
- 29:27options we got?
- 29:28>> Cameron: Break you out?
- 29:29>> Quinn: Well, we could, we could kill a lot more people or we could
- 29:32try and get out of here.
- 29:33>> Cameron: no one said kill. You brought that up again. You
- 29:36went killing. You have a thing for that. You
- 29:39probably should go to jail.
- 29:42>> Quinn: ### I watched you guys rip open the slicer in
- 29:45half.
- 29:46>> Cameron: No, I shot him with like an arrow.
- 29:49I wouldn't say rip open it, ripped him open.
- 29:52>> Quinn: Blood everywhere.
- 29:53>> Cameron: Compared to what I did, top side and I point
- 29:56up, it was nothing.
- 29:58>> Quinn: Alright, so, well, maybe you. We should go get some sleep.
- 30:01And you guys, research what
- 30:04the 28th isus. I don't know what it is either.
- 30:07###eah officer. yeah, can
- 30:10I get a book. Can I get a book of the, rights. Book of
- 30:13rights.
- 30:14>> Cameron: we don't have one of those four
- 30:16prisoners. are you ready to go to your cell
- 30:19or.
- 30:20>> Quinn: I haven't had dinner yet.
- 30:22>> Cameron: We'll provide it.
- 30:23>> Quinn: Do you have cake tonight?
- 30:25>> Cameron: I don't know what they're making.
- 30:26>> Quinn: All right, see you guys tomorrow.
- 30:28>> Skylar: All right, so you guys are led out, you are led to your
- 30:31cel, put in with a couple of other kind of
- 30:34slimy looking figures. And
- 30:36I think you guys head back to go get some rest
- 30:39and then everybody gets a good night's sleep.
- 30:42Well, that's a lie. Everybody gets a stressful night's
- 30:45sleep and one of you gets a fairly uncomfortable night's
- 30:47sleep at best. And then you guys
- 30:50get together in the morning at the
- 30:53prison, obviously. And I think you guys arrive
- 30:56for the court hearing. And this is just the
- 30:59preliminary hearing, right?
- 31:00>> Cameron: Let's just show up to the court because this is gonna go great regardless
- 31:03where the. Where we've got it. We've never lost
- 31:06a case. Let's just play it like that.
- 31:08>> Skylar: ah, that's a good point. That is a good point.
- 31:10>> Quinn: Have you gu. Did you guys find anything on the 28th?
- 31:13>> Dave: Oh, I remember the 28th. Big sale
- 31:16day at the grocery store.
- 31:17>> Cameron: Oh, yes, he's right. I didn't. Ever seen an old
- 31:20paper?
- 31:21>> Quinn: No, no. The 28th amendment.
- 31:23>> Fatty Lumpkins: Oh, am men. What?
- 31:25>> Cameron: Oh, 28 men.
- 31:27>> Quinn: Oh, tell me. Forgot.
- 31:28>> Dave: Is that like ketchup?
- 31:30>> Quinn: Do you guys remember anything past, like, two hours ago?
- 31:33>> Cameron: No, we remember the things we care about.
- 31:36>> Skylar: so you guys are in the,
- 31:38courtroom, right? This is go goingna be where
- 31:41the eventual, like, actual court
- 31:43hearing takes place. Right? But right now you guys are just doing what's
- 31:46called the initial appearance. So, feather McGregor. You're
- 31:49in there. You guys are in there. And there's
- 31:52an individual. The individual, the
- 31:55tiefling guy is in there.
- 31:58And there is an older woman who is
- 32:01also there. And then the judge walks
- 32:04in. It is. Oh, man, it'gonna be fun. let's
- 32:07come up with something funny. Let's come up with something funny. It is a, ah,
- 32:10orc. It's, a big oras
- 32:13huge, like big kind of tusk teeth.
- 32:16he's well built. He's maybe a bit on the
- 32:18heavier side, though. He hasn't been like a fighting
- 32:21kind of orc. He's been a sit behind a desk kind of
- 32:24orc. And he comes in in the traditional, you know, like,
- 32:27big black robes. And he walks in and
- 32:30there's a. There's a. What's the officer inside of court?
- 32:33Bailiff. Bailiff. Yes, there's a bailiff there. They're
- 32:36all wearing like, those big barrister wigs that just make them
- 32:39look ridiculous because it's fantasy and that's fun.
- 32:42And the barrister steps forward.
- 32:44>> Cameron: He says, please rise for
- 32:47the honorable judge
- 32:49Bertrand.
- 32:50>> Skylar: And everybody, as presumably
- 32:53stands up.
- 32:54>> Cameron: Was that our jud's name?
- 32:56>> Skylar: Yeah. Oh, it's not wiggle
- 32:58noodle? No.
- 32:59>> Cameron: I thought it was a different name you gave us.
- 33:01>> Skylar: Did I? Oh, shoot, you're right. I did. U.
- 33:04shoot. Anybody remember when I was.
- 33:06>> Cameron: It was like a bas.
- 33:07>> Quinn: He's out sick today.
- 33:08>> Cameron: It was a basic name.
- 33:10>> Quinn: He's out sick.
- 33:11>> Cameron: now is, please stand for the honorable
- 33:13replacement judge, Judge
- 33:16Bertrand.
- 33:18>> Skylar: And in walks the orc. Which it
- 33:21would have been funnier if you guys had actually done, like, actual
- 33:24research before. Like, I know you pitched the idea,
- 33:27fatty, but you guys actually went,
- 33:30yeah, a bunch of research on the judge. And then it came in. It was.
- 33:32>> Quinn: Would have been pretty fre.
- 33:33>> Skylar: That would have been really funny. but anyway, so judge
- 33:36Bertrand.
- 33:39>> Cameron: PR. Sir, if you could keep your voice down, we'll be doing
- 33:42the here.
- 33:44>> Skylar: The hearing momentarily. Ah, all right. And a
- 33:47Judge steps up to his seat and he holds up his hands for
- 33:50everybody to sit down, and then he sits down as well, and he picks
- 33:53up a bunch of papers and he says, algh.
- 33:56>> Skylar: Father mcgregor, you wanted
- 33:59on five counts of felony
- 34:01murder, one count of first degree armed
- 34:04robbery, one count of first
- 34:07degree theft, and one count
- 34:10of trespassing. Do you have
- 34:13legal counsel with you today?
- 34:14>> Quinn: Yes, and they will do be doing the speaking for me.
- 34:17>> Dave: Maia is furiously writing down what the charges
- 34:20are.
- 34:21>> Skylar: Okay, sounds good. Yep. You got this writt down.
- 34:23>> Cameron: Trying to count.
- 34:24>> Skylar: Okay.
- 34:26>> Skylar: All right. We' feather
- 34:28mcgregor be plead
- 34:31guilty or not guilty during this
- 34:33time.
- 34:35>> Dave: I think we know what we want to do.
- 34:38Not guiltyeah.
- 34:39>> Cameron: he didn't do it.
- 34:40>> Skylar: Thank you. The defendant
- 34:43pleads not guilty. The
- 34:46trial for feather mcgregor will be held
- 34:48here in this room at
- 34:51noon in three days.
- 34:54I recommend that the defendant and
- 34:57the prosecution prepares their cases
- 35:00respectively. We will be
- 35:03reconvening later today for the
- 35:06jury choosing. Please be here at
- 35:092:00pm to be a part of that.
- 35:12>> Cameron: Thanks, your honor.
- 35:13>> Skylar: You're welcome.
- 35:14>> Skylar: And he stands up and he heads
- 35:17out. Okay, so the way this is going to work is
- 35:20we'll. We can jump straight to picking the
- 35:22jury. but at the very least, the idea
- 35:25is that there are three days and
- 35:28there are multiple different choices that you can take each
- 35:31day. for what, what direction that you want to go
- 35:34as his legal team. Right. You could spend a half
- 35:37day to do one of two options. Bail
- 35:40lil sauce out or go visit lil sauce in
- 35:43prison to kind of discuss with him where you guys are
- 35:45at. You can spend a full day to spy
- 35:48on the defense, tamper with the evidence.
- 35:51O.
- 35:52>> Cameron: Excellent.
- 35:52>> Skylar: tamper with other individuals who might be involved
- 35:55with the case, procure fake witnesses,
- 35:58evidence. Obviously, any of these can also
- 36:01be like to grab legitimate evidence. It's just, you know,
- 36:04a little bit harder to GR legitimate evidence in the situation
- 36:07that, I mean, technically he was
- 36:10involved. And intimidate witnesses
- 36:12is also an option. Obviously you got to know who the witnesses are
- 36:15and in order to do so. But I digress. So those are
- 36:18your options. We can jump straight to the jury
- 36:21trial because it's. I mean, I don't know what all you guys are going to
- 36:24do in. In between time, but I think we can
- 36:27pick, the jury selection here immediately. Okay,
- 36:30so you guys walk in and. And
- 36:33at some point during all this, just to clarify, some point during all
- 36:36this part, like, once you guys are officially representing,
- 36:38someone's looked at your papers, I kind of didn't have A problem.
- 36:41>> Quinn: Don't even want to know what they say. Like a part of me, but
- 36:44like.
- 36:44>> Skylar: Like who the jury is and what they're gonna say.
- 36:46>> Quinn: Don't even know what they're saying. Like, like, I mean, at the same
- 36:49time, though, I kind of do.
- 36:50>> Skylar: But, like, you can sit in on it.
- 36:53Like, you can just hear. I mean. Yeah, yeah. All right,
- 36:56so you guys come in, and then the prosecution comes
- 36:59in, and inside of this room, there
- 37:02are 12 individuals each
- 37:05various different people, various different races, all this
- 37:08other stuff.
- 37:08>> Fatty Lumpkins: Do they look angry?
- 37:10>> Skylar: A couple of them, yes, absolutely.
- 37:13most of them look like they don't want to be.
- 37:16>> Cameron: Excellent.
- 37:17>> Skylar: So here are, there's a whole bunch of these individuals. You can
- 37:20ask each one of them. Like, we're gonna go with one question because there's 12
- 37:22people here. just to make things easier, to kind of get an idea
- 37:25of who they are and whether or not you want them to serve, here are your
- 37:28options. So in interns, between you and the
- 37:31prosecution, once you guys go through all these people,
- 37:34you're going to take turns. You're going to pick one
- 37:37person that you definitely want to serve on the
- 37:40jury board, or you're going to pick one
- 37:43person to strike from the jury. Those are
- 37:46your two options. Once you make one of those two
- 37:48options, then it passes to the prosecution and they're going
- 37:51toa make a choice, and then it'll pass back and forth. So
- 37:54that way you have a fair ish situation here.
- 37:57>> Cameron: And how many questions can we ask
- 38:00them to keep things moving? Just one. I
- 38:03love that.
- 38:03>> Skylar: Yeah, that's what I was gonna say. Yeah.
- 38:05>> Cameron: Cool. Can we have ever, can we have. Can our council have a
- 38:08recess before, we begin?
- 38:10>> Skylar: I,
- 38:10>> Cameron: No, just a quiet aside.
- 38:11>> Skylar: If anything, this is, this is the time before you
- 38:14guys jump to the juey. So. Yeah, absolutely. Go for it.
- 38:16>> Cameron: All right, guys, so here's my idea. We each can ask them
- 38:19one question, right? Wait, does the prosecutor
- 38:22ask them questions as well?
- 38:24>> Skylar: Yes, he'll ask a question.
- 38:25>> Dave: What if we ask them where they were on, the night of the
- 38:28murder, Try to find the real
- 38:31killer.
- 38:32>> Cameron: What if we ask, in no relations to
- 38:34our client, have they ever tried little
- 38:37sauce'secret. Sauce, and did they like
- 38:39it? Mmm.
- 38:41>> Dave: That's a good idea. That's a good.
- 38:42>> Fatty Lumpkins: Because then we know they already have.
- 38:44>> Cameron: A bias because they don't know who our client is.
- 38:47Right. So.
- 39:03>> Skylar: So, the first individual who's sitting there is
- 39:06a Goliath,
- 39:09and he sits pretty dang
- 39:11tall compared to everybody Else there's some
- 39:14tall people that are on this group, but he's obviously the
- 39:17tallest. And obviously for each
- 39:20person they're going to state their name and then you can ask
- 39:23your question.
- 39:23>> Skylar: He says, yeah, my name
- 39:26is Kale Ironside.
- 39:30>> Cameron: Algh. Can I. I'll ask the first question.
- 39:35Kale, how tall are
- 39:38you?
- 39:39>> Skylar: Ah, I am. he kind of like looks at.
- 39:42>> Skylar: His fingers and moves him around a.
- 39:43>> Skylar: Little bit and he says seven foot
- 39:46seven.
- 39:48>> Skylar: And he looks like. He kind of like pause for saying. And he like looks up.
- 39:51>> Cameron: I point head makis'notes and wr that down.
- 39:54>> Skylar: Right.
- 39:54>> Cameron: All right. I now leave my question for the prosecution. Then I
- 39:57scoop back sh.
- 39:58>> Skylar: The prosecution, looks over'at Kay Iron
- 40:01and he says, m. Mr. Kale,
- 40:05what are your thoughts
- 40:09on death?
- 40:12>> Dave: Open ended questions.
- 40:14>> Skylar: and K says, well,
- 40:18I admit that
- 40:20I believe the strongest
- 40:24should rule the world.
- 40:27So I believe that if you can
- 40:30kill, there should be
- 40:32nothing stopping you from
- 40:35being in control.
- 40:38>> Skylar: Okay, fantastic. u. So that's everything for Kale
- 40:40Ironside. Next, up
- 40:43is, it's actually a female era cocra
- 40:46and she looks very like owl is like the form
- 40:49that she took. Right. her plumage and kind of
- 40:52the coloring looks a little bit dull to suggest a little bit
- 40:55older. Right. up in years. And she
- 40:58sits there, very posh. And she says,
- 41:00hello, my name is
- 41:02Vivian Blackwood. And the judge looks
- 41:05over at the defendant Team M. And he says u.
- 41:08>> Skylar: What U. What question would you like to ask Vivian?
- 41:12>> Fatty Lumpkins: Do you know Jonathan?
- 41:14>> Cameron: Is.
- 41:14>> Skylar: You mean Jnathan?
- 41:16>> Fatty Lumpkins: I'm sorry, I meant do you know Jnathan?
- 41:19>> Skylar: Wait, who is. Who is Jnathan?
- 41:22>> Cameron: What is.
- 41:23>> Skylar: Hold this is familiar.
- 41:25>> Cameron: Jonathan. Jonathan's the bird person from
- 41:27the start of the D and D movie.
- 41:30>> Skylar: Oh, gosh. From Dungeons of
- 41:32Dragons. She says, I.
- 41:35She looks over, she looks over at the judge and
- 41:38she says, I would like to say that
- 41:41I do not appreciate what I can only assume
- 41:44is racism simply because
- 41:47I am an Heracocrra. You assume
- 41:50that I know every, other Eriakra
- 41:53that exists in this city. With that
- 41:56being said, I do know Jonathan,
- 41:59but not personally.
- 42:01>> Fatty Lumpkins: I rest my case.
- 42:03>> Skylar: The judge is just shaking his head as he looks over to the
- 42:06prosecution. The prosecution says, u. yes,
- 42:09Ms. Vivian. Could I
- 42:12ask if I might be so fold
- 42:15who do you support on the
- 42:18upcoming election? And she
- 42:20says, well, I could see how
- 42:23some would not be interested in answering
- 42:26that question. And whereas some might choose
- 42:29to abstain, I am more than happy to say
- 42:31that I am a full fledged
- 42:34GIMAL supporter. I am, in
- 42:37fact, one of his local
- 42:40representatives. I am one of his
- 42:42representatives for, more specifically,
- 42:45the Asgardia district, Although I do also
- 42:48tend to campaign over in the central
- 42:51stock. And the prosecution says, well, thank you
- 42:54very much, Vivian. We appreciate, your
- 42:56honesty with that. that is all for my
- 42:58questions. ###Over Vivian. And you move
- 43:01on to the next person. the next person is a
- 43:04female human. and
- 43:08she looks very young, like, fresh into
- 43:10adulthood. And she wears sort of
- 43:13a very wizard eque cat, but she's wearing a variety of
- 43:16different things on her person that are kind
- 43:19of steampunk esque.
- 43:21>> Dave: Right?
- 43:21>> Skylar: There's a lot of, like, cogs and woriring
- 43:24things and moving parts. and
- 43:27she looks a little bit nervous and
- 43:30uncomfortable. And she says, yes, my name
- 43:32is Veronica Tesla,
- 43:35and look, if there's any
- 43:38way that I could leave, I'm actually a
- 43:41college student at the School of Wizardry.
- 43:44I really have to get back to my studies.
- 43:47And the judge speaks up, and he.
- 43:48>> Skylar: Says, u Veronica, you have to
- 43:51understand that, being a part of the judicial system
- 43:54is, meant to be a privilege.
- 43:57please, respect that. If you are struck from
- 44:00things that would be different, but you
- 44:02are expected to serve when summoned.
- 44:05>> Skylar: I understand. It's just I also have a job, and
- 44:08they're very demanding of me, and it just.
- 44:11>> Skylar: Please only answer the questions
- 44:14and we'll see where this goes.
- 44:16>> Skylar: And she looks over at you guys almost
- 44:19pleadingly like, get me out of here.
- 44:21>> Dave: Where do you go to college?
- 44:24>> Skylar: Even the judge just takes his
- 44:27glasses off and puts his hand over his
- 44:30face. And she goes,
- 44:33this school of Wizardry
- 44:37in the central Stark
- 44:39district. And she kind of, like,
- 44:42looks around like, didn't I say that? I said that right? And
- 44:45everybody else is just, like. Everybody else is just, like, cupping their
- 44:47hand and, like, giving her a nod like, yeah, you. You said that,
- 44:51Roick.
- 44:51>> Cameron: Snotty.
- 44:54>> Skylar: and then the prosecution leans, over, and he
- 44:57says, veronica, if I may
- 44:59ask, what is it that you
- 45:02study primarily at the College of
- 45:05Wizardry? And she says, well,
- 45:08I put most of my college
- 45:11classes and major into
- 45:14artificing. and enchanting are my two
- 45:17primary areas. And he says, oh, very nice, Very nice.
- 45:20Thank you. I appreciate that. next up, you
- 45:23have a halfling who's sitting there,
- 45:26and he looks a bit rugged. He looks kind of like, a little
- 45:28bit dirty. Like he's been messing around. And, like,
- 45:31you know, his feet are kind of dirty. He's got some dirt on his
- 45:34face. He's clean shaven and everything.
- 45:37but it looks more like because it's out of the fact that he
- 45:40cannot grow hair on his face as opposed to
- 45:43he keeps up with it. And he's even got, like, a pair of
- 45:46suspenders on. And one of the buckles on one side is
- 45:49busted, so it kind of just hangs down. and he says, yeah,
- 45:52my name is Sprout. ask me anything. What do you Want
- 45:55to know?
- 45:56>> Fatty Lumpkins: 30 white horses on
- 45:59Red hill. First they champ,
- 46:02then they stamp, then they stand
- 46:04still.
- 46:05>> Cameron: Is that a question? Answer the question.
- 46:09>> Quinn: Ah.
- 46:09>> Skylar: he starts to start sweating. It's starting
- 46:12to kind of like combine with the dirt on his face and'turning them
- 46:15out.
- 46:15>> Cameron: T understand this is against the,
- 46:20horses.
- 46:24Get it right. Oh, wow. I wasn't expecting
- 46:27that.
- 46:28>> Skylar: And the prosecution looks confused at you
- 46:31guys and then just looks at him and he says, yes,
- 46:33Sprout, might I ask, what district
- 46:36do you call home?
- 46:39>> Cameron: And he say, well, Ieah, I, I'm from the
- 46:41Mediumville district. I hang around the rock
- 46:44bottoms.
- 46:44>> Skylar: And, yeah, I'm hoping this someday I can become part of
- 46:47the rock bottoms, but you didn't hear that for me.
- 46:51>> Skylar: And he looks over at the judge.
- 46:52>> Skylar: Really fast because he's kind of nervous. And the judge is just, like, shaking
- 46:55his head, like, what a weirdo. Next up, you got this,
- 46:58like, this dude in full
- 47:00fishing attire, and he's an older dude. He's
- 47:03got a fishing hat on. He's got a fishing vest on. It's
- 47:06got little bait things hanging
- 47:09off of it. And he says, well, my
- 47:12name is Wilson. You probably know me, Willie
- 47:15Wilson from Wilson's Bait Bucket.
- 47:18sell bait and other things.
- 47:20>> Skylar: Please, Mr. Wilson, this isn't a time to advertise
- 47:23your business.
- 47:23>> Cameron: Let him go on.
- 47:25>> Skylar: If that's what you want to ask him about, then go
- 47:27ahead.
- 47:28>> Cameron: I's sh. Where I'm going,
- 47:31I ask. My
- 47:34counsel said, said, IY go.
- 47:38>> Dave: what kind of insurance do you carry on
- 47:41your business?
- 47:43>> Skylar: Yes, so I carry, just basically the
- 47:46most basic insurance I can get.
- 47:49Lo deductibles or,
- 47:52sorry, low premiums,
- 47:55high deductibles.
- 47:56>> Dave: So, in person, I mai showed,
- 47:59Roick a note that he wrote down that said,
- 48:03threaten arson to business.
- 48:10>> Skylar: the prosecution looks over at Willie and he
- 48:13says, well, Willie, I have to ask, how are
- 48:15things coming with the annual big catch
- 48:18competition? Well, we're gearing up for
- 48:21a big o year. We got
- 48:23fishermen from all across the is of
- 48:26Newman that Have signed up our big competition'coming
- 48:29up soon and we're pretty dang excited.
- 48:32Thank you, I appreciate that. Moving on.
- 48:35>> Cameron: I like how u. the prosecution started
- 48:38with like what are your thoughts on? And he slow death. And
- 48:41he slowly just moved to just some.
- 48:43>> Skylar: He's matching your guys energy.
- 48:47>> Cameron: He's like, I'm not going toa ask them really deep questions of
- 48:50the other guys go goingn cause they aren't even.
- 48:52>> Skylar: Taking this ser Exactly. He's like, I'll screw around. I
- 48:55like to think that he's very pretend. Well, again, I'm the dm. I
- 48:58guess I pick the character. But he's very pretentious and I think he
- 49:00thinks let, let me see how low I can
- 49:03stoop and then still win. This case is kind of what he's
- 49:06hop hoping to achieve. the next person is
- 49:09a cat folk, a small,
- 49:12like, like almost actual cat sized
- 49:15cat folk, very puss and boots, wearing a variety of
- 49:18clothes. And you can see
- 49:21that around her paws there's
- 49:24kind of like a green magical energy that kind of just sort of
- 49:26emanates. And she says, my
- 49:29name is Felicity Filar.
- 49:32>> Cameron: I'm, Felicity.
- 49:33>> Skylar: Yes.
- 49:34>> Dave: You vape.
- 49:36>> Skylar: I have used a
- 49:39hookah on occasion, so I suppose
- 49:42the answer is yes.
- 49:46>> Cameron: What flavor?
- 49:47>> Skylar: You can ask more than one question. You cannot ask.
- 49:50>> Dave: Sorry to one question.
- 49:53>> Skylar: the prosecution looks over at you.
- 49:55>> Cameron: For say, ask for me, please mouttain
- 49:58it.
- 49:59>> Skylar: And then with a sly smirk he
- 50:02looks over at Felicity and he says, Felicity,
- 50:05I feel as though I've seen
- 50:08you somewhere before.
- 50:11Perchance do you work
- 50:14in the legal department?
- 50:17And Felicity kind of pauses for a moment. And then a
- 50:19smirk crosses Felicity's
- 50:22face and she replies
- 50:26quite the opposite and leaves it at
- 50:28that.
- 50:29>> Dave: The anarchy to part.
- 50:33>> Skylar: So next up, is a very posh looking
- 50:36human gentleman in very fine
- 50:39clothing, wearing an almost ridiculous
- 50:42looking hat that kind of like bunches up in one part and
- 50:45like kind of just hangs over off to the side and like the most
- 50:48dork dorky looking thing ever. And he
- 50:50says, and my name
- 50:53is Marquis Sebastian
- 50:56Octavius Thackeray
- 50:58Whittington. What
- 51:01question do you have for me?
- 51:03>> Dave: It's got a nice, nice name there.
- 51:05>> Cameron: I really want to, I really want to ask him, what
- 51:08hete ask him what flavor is his Felicity
- 51:11Bab. I don't think
- 51:14he'll know I'm so scre. What's his
- 51:17name?
- 51:18>> Skylar: Marquis Sebastian
- 51:20Octavius Thackary Whittington.
- 51:23>> Cameron: Okay, do you think I'll ever Get
- 51:26married.
- 51:27>> Skylar: He looks at you for a moment and he says, I'm
- 51:30sure there's a beautiful
- 51:33goblet girl out there for you somewhere.
- 51:37Aw.
- 51:37>> Cameron: Huh? Thanks. I'm blushing a
- 51:39little. Did you make notice?
- 51:43>> Dave: Not. Not a racist question mark.
- 51:47>> Skylar: That's kind of what I was getting at is like. It kind of seems like
- 51:50a compliment, but if you think about it. Yeah. Anyway,
- 51:53he, the prosecution looks over and he says. He
- 51:56looks over at you guys and he kind of looks like, I
- 51:59wonder. I wonder where I can get that. I can take this. You know, he's
- 52:02kind of got the sly look in his eyes, and he says,
- 52:05Mr. Thackeray Whittington, might I
- 52:08ask, you are a member
- 52:11of the RG Horse racing guild, are you
- 52:14not? yes, yes, I am, in fact, one of
- 52:17the, executive board
- 52:19members. Yes. Thank you. I
- 52:22appreciate that. oh, and he kind of smirks at
- 52:25you guys. He's just kind of trying to toy with seeing,
- 52:28like, how much you guys are willing to, like, go for.
- 52:31next up, you have a woman
- 52:34in very witch like
- 52:36clothing. She has, like, a long cloak that's
- 52:39got some kind of eerie natural elements to
- 52:42it in a very pointed hat. Unlike,
- 52:45the other magical female,
- 52:48Veronica, this one is
- 52:51very, kind of, like, old and worn
- 52:53out, whereas Veronica's was very new. And
- 52:56she says, where my name is
- 52:59Sheafina Nightrad.
- 53:05Ask away.
- 53:08>> Fatty Lumpkins: What's your favorite potion to brew?
- 53:10>> Skylar: O My favorite potion to
- 53:13brew?
- 53:14>> Cameron: Yes. Oh, that's easy. I
- 53:17love a, good
- 53:19liiqueify bones
- 53:21potion.
- 53:23>> Skylar: It has the most, as I would call
- 53:25it, entertaining effects
- 53:28on one's enemies.
- 53:31O And, the
- 53:34prosecution leanss forward it and he says, yes. M. Ms.
- 53:36Seraphina Nightshade, you.
- 53:40I. You also seem quite familiar. I feel
- 53:43like I've seen you in one of the
- 53:45sports organizations here in town. Can you confirm that or
- 53:48deny that for me? She says, oh, yes, I am
- 53:51in the battle wagons. Where,
- 53:54where trio who rides
- 53:57the giant broom? where you probably heard of our group
- 54:00named Ghoul Runnings.
- 54:04He says, ah, yes, of course. That's what it was. Thank you so
- 54:07much. yes. And who's next? And next up youc,
- 54:10peeking out from kind of in, the second or third
- 54:13row, you see a familiar face, a semi familiar
- 54:16face. it is a younger orc man
- 54:19with kind of long hair that kind of comes across his
- 54:21eyes. And you guys recognize this
- 54:24as the guy that Roick shot
- 54:27in the Minotaur races.
- 54:30>> Cameron: Oh, in the back of the leg, yes.
- 54:32>> Cameron: Oh.
- 54:33>> Skylar: Oi. My name's Thrack
- 54:35Blackthorn.
- 54:37>> Skylar: And he kind of just glares.
- 54:38>> Cameron: Oh, he is the lead singer of the band.
- 54:41>> Skylar: Yes, he is the lead singer of the band that
- 54:43played afterwards. And the
- 54:46prosecution definitely notices this
- 54:49spiteful glare at Roick. Will
- 54:52younna ask me?
- 54:54>> Cameron: I feel like he's looking right at me.
- 54:57>> Dave: Well, what are you gonna ask him?
- 54:59>> Cameron: remember, answer truthfully. Want to
- 55:02stand?
- 55:03>> Skylar: Oh, I will.
- 55:04>> Cameron: Do you hold a grudge?
- 55:07Especially if the said party was
- 55:10very sorry and didn't mean
- 55:13to these dead into your eyes?
- 55:15>> Skylar: And he says, oh, I hold
- 55:18one hell of a grudge.
- 55:21>> Cameron: Oh, just one.
- 55:22>> Skylar: One grudge right now.
- 55:25>> Cameron: I'm sorry, I.
- 55:26>> Fatty Lumpkins: Was it your girlfriend?
- 55:27>> Cameron: Yeah. You mad at the Mrs. Did
- 55:30she leave you with the kids?
- 55:31>> Skylar: Excuse me, but could we keep it please to one question per
- 55:34jury member?
- 55:35>> Cameron: Oh, is it two parter? Nope. Aw.
- 55:38>> Skylar: the prosecution looks over at, Thrax
- 55:41Blackthorn and he says, ah, might I
- 55:44ask, have you by chance, I noticed when you
- 55:47entered the room it looked like you had a little bit of a limp. Is there a chance that you
- 55:49suffered an injury lately? And he says,
- 55:52oh, I did.
- 55:54>> Skylar: I suffered a, pretty nasty
- 55:57one. But I'm starting to feel
- 56:00a hell of a lot better.
- 56:02>> Skylar: thank you. Yes. We, move on to the next person. It is
- 56:05a lizard folk. It is an old
- 56:08lizard folk iguana kind of looking
- 56:10dude. He wears what looks like
- 56:13very raggedy looking u
- 56:16like admiral clothes. Like he was in some sort of,
- 56:19ah, naval, specifically
- 56:22military force. And he says, well,
- 56:25hi there. My name is Scaly Pete.
- 56:28How could I help you guys?
- 56:30>> Cameron: I'm excited to get to see this side of the
- 56:33legal process.
- 56:34>> Skylar: This is my first time serving on the jury. Cause most of
- 56:37the time I'm, out serving at sea. Oh, sorry,
- 56:40Judge, I'm saying too much.
- 56:42>> Dave: What is your disposition
- 56:45on buccaneers like
- 56:48whiteown?
- 56:48>> Cameron: I like em.
- 56:49>> Skylar: Yeah, well, let
- 56:52me tell y Privateering.
- 56:54>> Cameron: Is a hell of a jab.
- 56:56>> Skylar: And, u, you know, I don't dislike them because
- 56:59if they didn't exist, then I wouldn't have a job.
- 57:03We don't fight much, buccaneers
- 57:05and pirates and all that kind of stuff. So, you
- 57:08know, I can't necessarily say I dislike em
- 57:11per se. Hopefully that answered your
- 57:14question. I swear m Mr. Judge, I'being as honest
- 57:17as I can.
- 57:18>> Cameron: Good answer. Good answer.
- 57:20>> Skylar: Oh, thank you. Thank you. U prosecution, you
- 57:23gotta ask me a question, right? And he says, u yes.
- 57:27Now, you said that you previously served. Do you no
- 57:30longer Serve? No, I don't serve anymore, but I
- 57:33do still serve ownership. in fact.
- 57:36And it's funny that saraidieda brought it up because I'm also on
- 57:39a group from the battle wagons. In
- 57:41fact, we call ourselves
- 57:44Pirates of the Reptilian
- 57:46Crew.
- 57:48>> Quinn: Ah.
- 57:48>> Skylar: yes. So wonderful, wonderful. U please, next. And
- 57:51the next one is, is a centaur. So
- 57:54he takes up like two rows of chairs for each
- 57:57end of his horse like body.
- 57:59He says, yes, my name is.
- 58:02>> Skylar: Ryan Equest and it's great
- 58:05to be here today.
- 58:06>> Skylar: What can I help you wonderful lads with?
- 58:10And you guys ask him a question.
- 58:13>> Cameron: Do you think our client did it?
- 58:16>> Skylar: Well, that's hard to say. my real
- 58:18concern personally is if
- 58:21any horses were injured in any way, that would
- 58:24really, really irk me quite a
- 58:27bit. So, you know, that's kind of. I would like
- 58:30to see that anyone who harms a horse of any
- 58:33kind serve the penalty for their,
- 58:36for their crimes. But I can't
- 58:39necessarily say one way or another would. It would put me
- 58:42in a poor position as a jury member to make an
- 58:45assumption now. And the prosecution
- 58:47says. Yes, I'm actually greatly
- 58:50appreciative that you brought that up.
- 58:52>> Cameron: Yes.
- 58:53>> Skylar: I would assume that you are very in tune with
- 58:55natural and more importantly equine
- 58:59creatures. you probably
- 59:02want to see the preservation of such creatures. Yes.
- 59:05Oh, yes, I'm very passionate about
- 59:08the protections and the rights of
- 59:10equine creatures of all kinds. Yes,
- 59:13that is my, my goal.
- 59:16thank you sir. And last but not least, you
- 59:19have a blue. Another
- 59:21arracakcra. Ah, bluebird. And
- 59:24a very young female bluebird at
- 59:27that. And she sits up nice and
- 59:29tall. she's wearing some sort of athletic cost
- 59:32or costume or outfit or something along those lines. You
- 59:35know, it's kind of tight fitting and it looks very
- 59:37sporty. And she says u hello,
- 59:40yes, my name is Taylor Swiftwing
- 59:43and I also have never served on the juurnry
- 59:45before. So I'm very excited to be here. I'm gonna call
- 59:48this, you know, like it's my judicial era.
- 59:51>> Cameron: That's fun. Yes.
- 59:53>> Skylar: I'm so excited. I hope I get to serve.
- 59:55>> Cameron: We both have a final question. Maki, let's
- 59:58debate. I want to whisper what a my vial question was to
- 1:00:01his he. What, what was yours? Machi.
- 1:00:04>> Dave: I was gonna ask her to describe her
- 1:00:06childhood.
- 1:00:07>> Cameron: Oh, I was gonna start doing a handstand said
- 1:00:10ask her what she thinks of it. Which one's better?
- 1:00:13Keto, you got a coin
- 1:00:16Just the.
- 1:00:16>> Fatty Lumpkins: I ro A taxs odds and evens odds is
- 1:00:19what you didn't Dave, I.
- 1:00:21>> Cameron: Feel like you decided it before you.
- 1:00:22>> Dave: Rol,
- 1:00:27what was your childhood like?
- 1:00:30>> Skylar: Oh, wow. You know, I grew up with two
- 1:00:33loving parents, and I
- 1:00:36was sent to one of the finest schools
- 1:00:39in the central Stark district. And
- 1:00:42I grew up with a passion and music. But
- 1:00:45man, I really started playing. I, really got
- 1:00:48inspired to play some sports when I was in.
- 1:00:51When I was a kid. And as I grew up I was watching and my dad
- 1:00:54took me to go watch the blood ball tournaments and
- 1:00:57I just really fell in love with it. So I joined
- 1:01:00the team. You'll see me play, for that
- 1:01:03sport. M. If you ever have a chance to come
- 1:01:06by. I'm team.
- 1:01:07>> Cameron: Do you play on?
- 1:01:08>> Skylar: yes, I'm part of the, the Harpy Harriers
- 1:01:11in the prosecution. yes. Out of curiosity,
- 1:01:14how do you feel the Harpy Harriers are, going to perform this
- 1:01:17season? Oh, I think we've got it in the back.
- 1:01:20You know, we, we've been up against the Misfit Munchers
- 1:01:23and we've won. We've been up against the
- 1:01:26Animix and I mean that was a tough fight, but, you know, we
- 1:01:29have inevitably won and we're coming up against Earth,
- 1:01:32Wind, Fire and Air. That one's a little bit more nerve
- 1:01:35wrackking. You know, it's gonna be an intense match, but I feel really
- 1:01:37confident. my only hope, if I had to make one
- 1:01:40prediction of like kind of the negative side. I really hope
- 1:01:43that we don't have to go up against the Pastors of the Universe
- 1:01:46because they're a pretty intense team. And with
- 1:01:49that, you guys have heard from all of the
- 1:01:51jury, everyone.
- 1:01:53>> Cameron: There's one more person I have to ask a question
- 1:01:56to.
- 1:01:57>> Skylar: Oh, I just.
- 1:01:59>> Cameron: And I point at the judge, I.
- 1:02:01>> Skylar: Go, you, this is quite
- 1:02:04unorthodox.
- 1:02:06>> Cameron: What do you think of this? And I'm gonna get up on the stand and start doing
- 1:02:09a. A handstand.
- 1:02:10>> Skylar: Yeah, do a performance.
- 1:02:11>> Cameron: Che 14.
- 1:02:12>> Skylar: he, he gestures over to the bailiff who takes a step
- 1:02:15forward. And then he puts his hand out like weight. And then he
- 1:02:18pauses. He goes, that's pretty good. Take it.
- 1:02:21>> Cameron: Thanks.
- 1:02:22>> Skylar: Please take your seat.
- 1:02:23>> Fatty Lumpkins: A sit back.
- 1:02:26>> Skylar: All right, begin the jury
- 1:02:28options.
- 1:02:29>> Skylar: I will let the defendants make
- 1:02:32the first choice. Would you like to pick
- 1:02:34somebody and please either strike
- 1:02:37or serve.
- 1:02:38>> Cameron: So is it just alternate? So you either pick or strike
- 1:02:42into the other person and picks or strikes?
- 1:02:43>> Skylar: Yep.
- 1:02:44>> Cameron: How made you remember six there you'll.
- 1:02:46>> Skylar: Have six by the end because there's 12 total.
- 1:02:49He's going three. You're gonna strike three and.
- 1:02:51>> Fatty Lumpkins: Oh, we're only allowed three strikes.
- 1:02:53>> Skylar: Yes.
- 1:02:53>> Cameron: So we strike three first.
- 1:02:55>> Skylar: No, it's your choice. You can either choose somebody that's a.
- 1:02:57>> Cameron: Guaranteed key or just going until there's six left. Well,
- 1:03:00sorry, there's six Chn.
- 1:03:03>> Skylar: Yeah, but that's gonna use up all your options.
- 1:03:05>> Cameron: Well, yeah, it's just ye final six. Ye. They were saved
- 1:03:08or they're not stricken.
- 1:03:10>> Skylar: But you're doing it one at a time.
- 1:03:11>> Cameron: Okay.
- 1:03:12>> Skylar: All right.
- 1:03:12>> Cameron: Coming, boys. All right, so I'm thinking we
- 1:03:15have to strike. We have first we
- 1:03:18have to. To streiketh the guy who's got a grudge with me.
- 1:03:21He's going toa do anything to get rid of our
- 1:03:23client.
- 1:03:24>> Dave: I would agree with that. Probably.
- 1:03:26>> Cameron: Then the. Then the prosecutor is
- 1:03:29probablynna accept that one chick. Oh,
- 1:03:31probably.
- 1:03:32>> Dave: I don't know.
- 1:03:32>> Cameron: Probably want the orc guy.
- 1:03:34>> Fatty Lumpkins: want him.
- 1:03:35>> Skylar: I think we just got lie.
- 1:03:37>> Cameron: We start with the grudge guy first.
- 1:03:39>> Skylar: Ye.
- 1:03:40>> Cameron: What's his name?
- 1:03:41>> Fatty Lumpkins: Deoster Mc M. Grer.
- 1:03:43>> Skylar: Thrax black.
- 1:03:43>> Cameron: Yep, that one. You're really close.
- 1:03:48Should call him the. We strike through
- 1:03:50steurman Cr. And we point
- 1:03:53straight at.
- 1:03:54>> Skylar: Did you say that?
- 1:03:55>> Cameron: I point straight at, Thrax
- 1:03:58blackthornorn. We strike Thuster
- 1:04:01McGregor.
- 1:04:02>> Skylar: And he hops up and he pulls out a
- 1:04:05hand crossbow, points it at you, and the
- 1:04:07bailiff just tackles him to the ground and just
- 1:04:10starts laying into him.
- 1:04:12>> Skylar: And he's like, oh, on get it inn. Get
- 1:04:14him. There's no very shot may.
- 1:04:17>> Cameron: He should be the one on the stand.
- 1:04:18>> Dave: Oh, man. We could have maybe. We could have maybe
- 1:04:21baited him into doing that during the trial.
- 1:04:24>> Cameron: Missistrial. Missrial.
- 1:04:26>> Quinn: Dang it.
- 1:04:27>> Cameron: Your. I could have said nann
- 1:04:30and a boo boo and he would have gone crazy.
- 1:04:33>> Skylar: A secondary bailiff comes out and drags
- 1:04:35Thrax Blackthorn off, probably to go straight to
- 1:04:38the police. Who he is, his
- 1:04:41jury SC or whatever is serve on his jury
- 1:04:44cane on, please. Jesus.
- 1:04:47>> Skylar: Ah, Ca.
- 1:04:47>> Skylar: Because he can only strike so many. If you could all get.
- 1:04:50>> Cameron: So let's sue him. You
- 1:04:53see, this is great. We have so many
- 1:04:55witnesses.
- 1:04:57>> Dave: Hey, roick.
- 1:04:59>> Skylar: Faint.
- 1:05:03>> Quinn: Performance.
- 1:05:04>> Cameron: You 22.
- 1:05:08You start doing like the whole bit.
- 1:05:10>> Skylar: From the V movie.
- 1:05:11>> Cameron: Every starts talk about
- 1:05:14been stung by winged beast.
- 1:05:21>> Skylar: a woman rushes over and starts checking you.
- 1:05:24She has, like, a potion in her hand. She's checking you for
- 1:05:26wounds. She starts pouring the potion into your
- 1:05:29Mouth, you don't have any hit points to regain. But that's what she's
- 1:05:32doing.
- 1:05:33>> Cameron: No man of lingual stature should be
- 1:05:36put under these pressures.
- 1:05:38>> Skylar: And the judges starts beating his gavel.
- 1:05:41>> Skylar: He s like, order in the court. Order in my
- 1:05:44court. I will have order.
- 1:05:47>> Skylar: And once everything calms down. Yeah,
- 1:05:50it was good.
- 1:05:53>> Cameron: I'm okay, judge. Just traumatically
- 1:05:56scarred for life.
- 1:05:58>> Skylar: I'm sorry to hear that. let's
- 1:06:00please, please, let's move on.
- 1:06:03>> Skylar: the pro.
- 1:06:03>> Cameron: I believe it's the prosecution'turn it is.
- 1:06:06>> Skylar: It is.
- 1:06:07>> Skylar: The prosecution looks over the group and he says, I would like
- 1:06:09to keep, Ryan equest if I
- 1:06:12could. And Ryan equest, nods. And
- 1:06:15they put him over. Well, they don't put him anywhere. He's
- 1:06:18just. He's on the chair. Your guys turn.
- 1:06:21>> Cameron: Gotta keep that guy. We gotta keep.
- 1:06:23>> Dave: I think we want Sprout more than man guy.
- 1:06:25>> Cameron: Why Sprow? Oh, because he works for a
- 1:06:28crime syndic. It's either him or the Goliath.
- 1:06:31And either one, I like Sprout. He's got
- 1:06:34character. They don't make for better episodes.
- 1:06:37>> Fatty Lumpkins: We can draft Goliath next time.
- 1:06:39>> Cameron: Yeah, it's true. He's probably be gonna strike him. But
- 1:06:42I Sprout's, a winner. Your
- 1:06:45turn, Locky. But in just in case, if someone
- 1:06:47gets mad and tries to shoot, I want them to be mad at, you.
- 1:06:50>> Dave: Know, we select u,
- 1:06:52Sprout for the jury.
- 1:06:54>> Skylar: He Sprout's like, ah, man.
- 1:06:56>> Cameron: You know, I don't even like the Juerry. I think this
- 1:06:59whole thing is stupid. But it'll be fun to see it.
- 1:07:01>> Skylar: From the inside, I guess. U, yes,
- 1:07:04I would greatly like to strike
- 1:07:07Kale ironhiide. And
- 1:07:10that's exactly what Kale says to o.
- 1:07:13>> Skylar: This is great. I'm headed to the gym.
- 1:07:16>> Cameron: All right. Now what? So we got two picked,
- 1:07:19two gone. I say we keep the one
- 1:07:22witch lady.
- 1:07:23>> Quinn: N ye keep the vapor. Nothing I can tell
- 1:07:26you, but not that I have any say. We should keep the
- 1:07:29vapor.
- 1:07:29>> Cameron: Oh, the vor I can find out more on than
- 1:07:32what they've nightshape
- 1:07:36that.
- 1:07:36>> Skylar: Wasn'T she a bad person?
- 1:07:37>> Dave: Or we get rid of,
- 1:07:39>> Cameron: I don't know who to get rid of. You have an ex on the rich guy.
- 1:07:42The rich guy?
- 1:07:43>> Dave: Well, I don't know on that one. I mean, he's
- 1:07:46a member of the horse racing guild
- 1:07:49board. You think he was friends with
- 1:07:51Pendleton?
- 1:07:52>> Quinn: Right?
- 1:07:52>> Cameron: though those. All those rich people are friends with each other.
- 1:07:55>> Quinn: Yeah.
- 1:07:55>> Fatty Lumpkins: We better strike him.
- 1:07:56>> Cameron: We should probably strike him. He'll be, He'll probably be very pro.
- 1:07:59Pendleton.
- 1:08:00>> Fatty Lumpkins: We the jury, you would like to streng.
- 1:08:02>> Cameron: We're not the jury. We the defense
- 1:08:05counsel. Judges. No, we're not the.
- 1:08:07>> Skylar: You're not the judge? I'm the judge.
- 1:08:09>> Dave: He. Sebastian, Esquire,
- 1:08:13etc.
- 1:08:14>> Skylar: What about him?
- 1:08:15>> Dave: Strike him from the jury.
- 1:08:17>> Skylar: Oh, I've been struck.
- 1:08:21As he stands up and he heads out.
- 1:08:24Yes. Well played.
- 1:08:27I would like to keep
- 1:08:30Felicity Filer.
- 1:08:33>> Cameron: Is that the bird person?
- 1:08:34>> Skylar: No, I was the cat person.
- 1:08:37>> Cameron: That's the one that vapes.
- 1:08:38>> Skylar: Sure.
- 1:08:39>> Cameron: Yeah, yeah, we're already gonna keep
- 1:08:42her.
- 1:08:43>> Skylar: Your turn.
- 1:08:44>> Fatty Lumpkins: What if we.
- 1:08:45>> Cameron: We should now keep Nightshade, Right. Hu.
- 1:08:47>> Fatty Lumpkins: Or maybe we can also, keep the,
- 1:08:50fisherman and maybe,
- 1:08:51>> Cameron: Oh, yeah, the business threaten our business business.
- 1:08:54>> Dave: Well, they're notnna get rid of it. Why would they get rid of
- 1:08:56him? He'll probably make it in.
- 1:08:59>> Cameron: It's true. We should grab Nike Cheade and yeah, he'll either
- 1:09:02keep the one vivn. Yeah,
- 1:09:05Vivn the posh chick, or he'll strike a

- 1:09:43I tell you what, Veronica, you
- 1:09:46seem like an incredibly busy young woman. I
- 1:09:49will release you from
- 1:09:52the jury.
- 1:09:54>> Fatty Lumpkins: I was the student.
- 1:09:55>> Cameron: I was gonna strike her because if we kept her, she'd
- 1:09:58be mad at us for keeping her.
- 1:09:59>> Skylar: Well, he must have thought that, too. Yeah, I guess that
- 1:10:02technically works both ways.
- 1:10:03>> Cameron: It does.
- 1:10:04>> Skylar: Unless somebody. Unless somebody explicitly said
- 1:10:07I want to keep her on the jury. In which case. Which somebody would have
- 1:10:10eventually had to, I guess.
- 1:10:11>> Dave: But now do we want to keep.
- 1:10:13>> Cameron: Scary Pete or,
- 1:10:17Taylor swiftwing?
- 1:10:19>> Dave: How many? They've struck three already, so they can't

- 1:10:24>> Cameron: You can't strike anymore. Younna do it three times.
- 1:10:26>> Skylar: I thought you can just keep doing it. No, no, no. You can only strike
- 1:10:29three, and then you have to keep.
- 1:10:31>> Dave: I do want to use our third strike
- 1:10:34to get rid of Vivian.
- 1:10:35>> Cameron: Well, might as well strike Vivian, right?
- 1:10:38>> Dave: She does. No Jarnathan. So there's that.
- 1:10:41>> Skylar: True.
- 1:10:42>> Dave: U. Is that a good thing, though? I don't know.
- 1:10:45>> Cameron: I Don't think so.
- 1:10:46>> Fatty Lumpkins: I forgot what the prosecution asked.
- 1:10:48>> Dave: Birds of a feather. I don't know what,
