A mere 3 weeks prior to the shooting at FSU, a spat between legislators in the House killed campus carry. The "Republican" who was most instrumental in killing it claimed it was "moronic" to assume college students should be able to defend themselves with firearms. Even after the fact, she was utterly defiant, claiming they wouldn't have been able to defend themselves anyway. And we're paying her?!?
