Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: Time for the 49ers Resh Podcast.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_00]: and here's your host, John Chapman.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_02]: What is going on, faithful?
- 0:35[SPEAKER_02]: It is Thursday morning, which means it's time for the coach approach and how we do it today, man.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, we're doing great.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'm excited to be here.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's Thursday, which means we're inching closer to the 49ers falcons.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_01]: And what's always interesting about this time of year is you know that by week is on the horizon.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_01]: And so you're looking at the team and you're looking at it in two different ways.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_01]: What it is right now and what it's going to be coming out of the by week.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_01]: Because I don't think that those things are completely the same.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_01]: And I think this team's going to change a lot because of the players coming back.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 1:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm super hyped.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_01]: I know you're super hyped.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_01]: You're about to go out to Atlanta for the Russ Road Trip.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_01]: I know that's going to be a blast.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's it's just a good time to be a 49er fan.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_02]: It's funny because like 49ers fans are the best, right?
- 1:20[SPEAKER_02]: The faithful is amazing.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_02]: They don't like to pre-buy tickets, right?
- 1:24[SPEAKER_02]: It's a lot of times we go into these events and we're like, man, or we're going to have 70, or we're going to have 300.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_02]: For this one, they're buying tickets.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_02]: So we are expecting a rather
- 1:34[SPEAKER_02]: rather rather large crowds.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_02]: So excited about that.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_02]: So come join us for Daresourceroadtrip.com.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_02]: Get your tickets today before in the tailgate.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_02]: Tell Gates probably going to sell out.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_02]: We have moved a lot of tickets the past week.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_02]: Which is a good thing.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_02]: But don't wait.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_02]: Please don't wait.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_02]: Fly out early in the morning.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_02]: Man, get into Atlanta.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_02]: You forget how big.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_02]: This country is bit that is a flight at a half, but that's okay.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be a good side.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_02]: Now We have some new comments from John Lynch this morning and talk about the trade deadline So let's lead into it John Lynch on K and BR said quote, we're going to get things that feel like acquisitions by guys getting healthy in quote
- 2:16[SPEAKER_02]: is this a little bit of just kind of poker play or is it you know what we're just happy with what we got and we're getting all these guys back after the buy there's no need to go out and swing for the fences or is this just hey we're getting healthier.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's both.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_01]: I mean the thing is you never want to seem too desperate like you need to get a player in the trade market.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_01]: uh... you don't want to act like yet you got to be you know four they don't want so much forcing your hand to give up extra draft capital uh... but he's not wrong either they are getting a influx of talent uh... that's pretty remarkable i mean think about just a wide receiver talent they're getting back probably christian kirk this week i think that's realistic to mark his Robinson and dbo coming after the by d rob probably four vagus and then shortly after that you know dbo Samuel
- 3:01[SPEAKER_01]: that influx design dribbling a first round talent according to them, you know, and he's you're getting him back at some point during the season.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_01]: Sam, oh, just I mean, there's so many guys that are going to be coming back for this football team that yeah, you're getting a huge influx of talent.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_01]: So, I think that he's kind of playing it the way he should.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, we don't want anyone to think we have to make a move because they don't, they're the best team in the NFL, but if something presents itself, right?
- 3:25[SPEAKER_01]: Something that's enticing to them, then they're going to be willing to do it.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_01]: I like what he's at with it, and I think the 49ers are in a good position, both negotiating wise and with guys coming back.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I curious to see what teams are going to be sellers over the next kind of two weeks.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_02]: I do expect the Niners to execute some trade, we got to see what's available.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_02]: I really want that outside by receiver, but look at this peanut Jeff.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_02]: He says hashtag CC at the hospital this morning, welcoming the newest Niners fan in the world.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_02]: kiddo number three the world gets better Jeff congratulations to you and your family man we uh celebrate with you we are thankful for sharing this with us and uh shout out to the misses the family and the other kiddos the few days better this I mean you just welcome to new one how is early fatherhood treating you my friend time checking on him yeah it's great I love I love it it's a lot of fun
- 4:19[SPEAKER_01]: You know, Sundays are entertaining because he wears all of his 49er gear sits there with that for a little bit.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, can't keep the attention span, right?
- 4:27[SPEAKER_01]: Like he's not a big watcher, but he'll watch every once in a while.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_01]: And if that goes crazy when George Kittles scores the touchdown, well, you know, baby goes crazy.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_01]: He gets excited about it.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, it's, it's a lot of fun.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_01]: I'm enjoying it.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, one day he's going to be a film watcher.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what I'm excited to teach him is how to watch film.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, how football is?
- 4:45[SPEAKER_01]: Because there's some of these other fan bases that are embarrassing themselves on Twitter right now.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_01]: We can't let that happen to the 49ers watch film John is going to put that commercial on later watch film Watch the tape you got to do it But wanting and well being one of those guys on Twitter.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_02]: That's like you guys just you don't know ball It's it's rough out there man and like I don't know I'm not one of the people and you're not either like I don't jump into other people's mentions with negativity like that's just not who I am I know that there's a lot of people like I'll post a clip and
- 5:16[SPEAKER_02]: people just wait for me to post something so they could retweet it and call me an idiot or whatever and like that's cool like yeah you're probably right I'm an idiot but like I don't know it's weird you see a clip or something posted it's like whoa that is not what's happening at all like all right it just it's sometimes like it's taken discipline you just got to keep scrolling sometimes um
- 5:37[SPEAKER_02]: not trying to go out against everybody.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_02]: Look at this, shifty.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if you saw the new Falcons logo.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_02]: I just tweeted this out.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_02]: It's pretty great.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_02]: And let me just share the, here we go.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, I'm gonna share the screen.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_02]: I probably shouldn't, but we're doing this.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_02]: Why not, right?
- 5:57[SPEAKER_02]: So the Falcons put out logo on there,
- 6:02[SPEAKER_02]: Twitter feed for their new profile and the comment section is just straight up fire with nothing but like awesome hilarious clips of, you know, Nazis and the Niners storming the beaches of Normandy and allied versus access powers and all this stuff and it's just like.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I don't think that that really has anything to do with the game, but it is pretty comical.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_02]: And sometimes social media is a win.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_02]: This is a win.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_02]: And also, I don't know if you saw Michael Pinnick's comments yesterday.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_02]: They asked him about Fred Warner and it started off so well.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_02]: Like, he absolutely crushed the first part of his answer.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_02]: This is Michael Pinnick's the quarterback for the Falcons.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_02]: He says, you know, he's a playmaker.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, you know, a generational talent.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_02]: If you wanted to just stop there, like why would you keep talking?
- 6:55[SPEAKER_02]: Don't do it like like the interstellar meme where he's hitting the wall like trying to talk to his former self like just stop talking but he kept talking and then he says you know he's good at everything he does but for us We got to go attack him.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_02]: What do you do in Michael pitties like why would you put that out into the ether
- 7:15[SPEAKER_02]: And it's just like, oh, he says, you know, as good as he is, that defense is, we can match it with our guys and, you know, as well, like, I always thought it was comic cool when teams give other teams bulletin board material and if you know anything about Fred Warner, it doesn't take much.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what were your thoughts, you know, going back to your coaching days to playing days when people put stuff like this out there.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I was able to coach on the back into the start of social media and dude, my players, they knew about it.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_02]: When people would post stuff about them, they knew about it.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_02]: It's circle the locker room, it mattered, especially in Southern Dallas, where all these kids know each other, the high schools are two, three miles apart.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_02]: What's your thoughts just on bulletin board material?
- 7:59[SPEAKER_02]: Is it effective or is it not really a thing in the NFL?
- 8:03[SPEAKER_01]: No, I think it's effective and I think it's, you know, determined by who the player is.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_01]: You know, some of these guys they just let a brush off their shoulders.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_01]: Other guys are like, oh, okay.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you're going to learn.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I mean, you think I'm great.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to show you how great I really am.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_01]: And you don't want to do that to Fred, right?
- 8:18[SPEAKER_01]: Fred doesn't need another reason to go out there and and hit you hard.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't need another reason to play through the whistle.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_01]: This guy's he's one of those guys that motivates and I feel like a lot of times he kind of reminds me him and Jerry Greenlaw are like Alvin Mac from the program where they like just make up stories of what those guys did to him or his family just get a more angry.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, Fred, he's one of those guys that.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, he's motivated by what people say.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that that was a bad move from Michael Penix and you know, I like that Penix is confident.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_01]: I love that.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_01]: You know, he's he's confident in his offense.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_01]: But in Friday, the one, you know, and the thing is, you, you, you, you irritate Fred Warner, it irritates everybody on that team, including number 57, who's going to be itching to smack somebody.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that that's going to be the real problem.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_01]: It's the first time B. John Robinson comes over the middle of the field.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_01]: Michael Pinnick's user.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_01]: It throws one of those lollipops to him.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_01]: And he gets absolutely molly loft and everybody just goes, hey, you shouldn't have said anything because Fred and Dre are coming for you.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I just mean sometimes it's just better just to stay quiet on certain subjects and just be smart.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_02]: Fred Warner was killing people last week to jire Brown was killing people for past two weeks.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Fred, you got 57's coming back.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_02]: That's huge as well.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I've been saying all week that I fully expect Mike Evans to play.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_02]: He hates the falcons.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_02]: You know, that has been a rivalry.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_02]: throughout his entire career.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think he's going to miss this game.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_02]: Sean says, you know, John, you'd be call it, say it.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_02]: Evans got to play all week.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_02]: Sounds like Lynch is on the same page as you.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, his interview this morning talked about.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_02]: They fully expected to play what what are your thoughts on Evans playing this week despite the Achilles sornus and all those things.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think I'm a little surprised, you know, I kind of thought right after the game that hey, maybe they would rest him, be able to give him a lot of time going into maybe coming out of the buy, getting a little bit more healthy, letting the ten and night is kind of calm down.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_01]: But they've acted like this is something that he's dealt with this whole career, or at least most of his career.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_01]: So he has a pretty good understanding of what it takes to work through it.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_01]: I think you're right, he's highly motivated to play against the NFC South,
- 10:27[SPEAKER_01]: And he wants to win.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Mike Evans is motivated.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_01]: You always have to bring in these players that come in and they want to motivate, they want to take the team to the next level.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_01]: And Mike Evans wants to be that guy, right?
- 10:38[SPEAKER_01]: He wants to be that guy that helps put the 49ers over the top.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_01]: They couldn't get it done last year.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_01]: Mike Evans wants to be that guy.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that there's a chance he plays this week.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not willing to go as far as you, John, and just say he's going to play.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_01]: of his comments that he's had in the past and then just what John Lynch has said, I think that there's a really good chance that he's going to play in this game.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_01]: They kind of need him.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that wide receiver room is picked over until you get to Marcus Robinson and Dbo Samuel back.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, I do want to give you your flowers plus that's that's about as big a disagreement as ants allowed to have I won't go quite as far as you John those are some hardcore trash talk words coming from bullets and board material from the cut back crew.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_02]: But I appreciate you, but man, you were talking all off season and a lot of people were you know how big Mike Evans edition is you said, you know, thousands of yard receiver 10 touchdowns he's averaging 70 yards again.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_02]: and he's on pace for about nine touchdowns at this current pace.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_02]: You nailed it, man.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_02]: I wasn't sure he would be this impactful.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_02]: I'm thankful that he is.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_02]: And silent, thanks for the super chat, man.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_02]: He says it's fair to want to see Brock without evidence.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_02]: Treat the next couple games as a preseason and get right with timing for the scrub wide receivers, sink or swim, young yens.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_02]: Brock with Evans without Evans with this receiving core.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_02]: How do we translate this?
- 12:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, I'm not one of those ones.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, Oh, I want to see Brock without these because I'm going to evaluate Brock without a star wide receiver.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_01]: I don't, I don't really care about that stuff.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_01]: I just want to see Brock pretty out there making the right decisions and getting the football out no matter who's out there.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_01]: And Mike Evans is one of his guys, right?
- 12:23[SPEAKER_01]: We never asked to see Steve Young or Joe Montana without Jerry Rice just to see how good he was.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't, I don't like that from from Brock pretty either, you know.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_01]: I don't really care about whether the guy is going to go out without my Kevin's I like my Kevin's out there because he makes it easier for the entire offense but we've already seen Brock pretty do it right in 2023 there was no my Kevin's it was Brandon I you in 2025 you know is Joanne Jennings and they were still moving the football and being effective.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_01]: I get it, like I get that comment from Silent, I think that you know, there is a lot of people that are still waiting for Brock Perty to prove something, but I don't know what he has to prove.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_01]: He walked off the field in the Super Bowl with a three point lead.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_01]: He was doing against Patrick Mahomes, so he doesn't got to prove anything to me, and I think that if Mike Evans is out there, that's exactly what the 49ers want and need for this offense.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I like that.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_02]: It Chris right here, you know, he says I'm not putting evidence of bubble wrap at the Falcons play on turf.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_02]: This team is soft, uh, uh, this team and soft tissue injuries make me nervous.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you just a hamstring a day is the 40 hours away.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_02]: You had a two new hamstring injuries yesterday.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_02]: Like, come on, man.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I'm joking whenever I say that every time, but.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_02]: It's getting there and Steven right here.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_02]: Let's remember, Brock and Evan did not have time to jail during training camp.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_02]: Evan didn't even get a practice much.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_02]: Like, they might not even be at where they're going to be at and, you know, you're ramping everything up for the playoffs.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_02]: I do like the new approach that the 49ers have with all these vet days, Wednesdays, a lot of people don't practice.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_02]: Even, you know, being on a short week, Kyle talked about yesterday was kind of a walk through practice.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_02]: You only get three practices a week, but because you played Monday night,
- 14:01[SPEAKER_02]: Man, yesterday was a walkthrough.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see what happens.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_02]: Now sticking with players playing or not playing, I am the exact opposite with Nick Bosa this week.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_02]: I do not anticipate him playing.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_02]: In fact, I don't even anticipate him traveling.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_02]: I think that he stays home.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_02]: He did not even participate in the walkthrough, but the caveat is this, he don't practice on a lot of Wednesdays anyway.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_02]: What are your thoughts?
- 14:25[SPEAKER_02]: Kyle Shannon says they hope
- 14:27[SPEAKER_02]: that Nick post-apractices today will he practice today and then will he play on Sunday versus Falcons.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think there's two different leads to look at, right?
- 14:35[SPEAKER_01]: If you're the medical staff and you're the Kyle Shainahan, do we get Nick Bosa out there, let him play, so he has time to recover, you know, from the game, like give him an extra time to recover, so he can go out there and kind of play some snaps, or do you just make him wait?
- 14:49[SPEAKER_01]: You know, the extra time.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_01]: Does that help the overall healing process?
- 14:53[SPEAKER_01]: I think that the way that they've been playing so far, the fact that he didn't come back last week, even though he told Matt Mioke who was pretty darn close, I think.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_01]: I think you do wait and I think that Nick Bosa they should wait with him and I think that coming out of the buy him and the rest of the guys are going to give the 49ers a real energy coming out.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he would be nice, but they've been able to generate past rush without Nick Bosa.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm not saying you want to play without Nick Bosa, but they've been finding ways to get it done.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_01]: And the Atlanta Falcons aren't the best at preventing defenses from getting to the quarterback.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Michael Pentex has been sacked nine times already this season.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_01]: So there's going to be opportunities
- 15:28[SPEAKER_01]: They've got something going right now.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_01]: There's a little bit of a synergy.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_01]: So I think they would love to have both of back, but they might err on the side of the cost in this week.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm with you, John.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_01]: I think that they probably have them wait until after the buy.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_01]: Even though I would understand if they had them come back this week, play and then rest.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't think he's going to.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well said, look at this spark.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_02]: This is John talk we off the ledge here.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_02]: 49ers are two and seven and late October.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_02]: I'm talking about the 20th through the 26th.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_02]: That's a small window there in the shed head area.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, shed head's great in September.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_02]: He's great in November, December.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_02]: October has not been his month.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_02]: Even the time you remember, he went five and owe that one year and then followed it up with three consecutive losses.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_02]: I think that was to one of the Atlanta teams, perhaps even might have been a different year.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_02]: But that's okay.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_02]: It is weird with Shadowhand how you kind of get into this.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_02]: There's been a track record and you know, Shadyhead's been dominant almost every single month, but October, not so fast.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_02]: However, he's up to, oh, this October.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_02]: So how do you buy into the trends like this?
- 16:36[SPEAKER_02]: And does this worry you this week against the Falcons?
- 16:40[SPEAKER_01]: I think every year is kind of unique with the players that you have on the type of matchups that you're going to go face to different teams.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, if this was a AFC North or NFC North team, I might have a little bit more concerns because the 49ers struggle there.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_01]: And that's where they've lost like an Cleveland in 2023, uh, some of those were tough games, uh, those were weather games against tough defenses.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_01]: This is indoors.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_01]: This is against Atlanta.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_01]: So I do think it's a different situation.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_01]: Now, part of the problem with October is that's when you see the league.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_01]: Now they've got over three films and tapes on the 49ers.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_01]: They start making adjustments and then Kyle Shandon has to readjust.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like he's doing really good at coming out and adjusting every single week.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_01]: And so I feel like he's got a better feel for what the league is trying to do to him.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_01]: And so to me, I think that there's a real chance that this doesn't happen this year.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_01]: The 49ers kind of work right through October without there being any blemishes.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_01]: But they got a big one against Atlanta because I think if they get through Atlanta and they get seven and oh coming out of that by they're going to be really healthy Really comfortable going into that biggest game with an opportunity I'd kind of really stretch this thing out and take a firm a hold of not just the NFC West playoff picture, but the NFC playoff picture in general They got a really good chance to get the number one seed if they can win the next couple of games
- 17:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and I mean, it's a three point spread right now, which I think is a little
- 18:02[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know almost disrespectful like I don't I don't get that I really really don't what you know usually the road team you're traveling to east coast three time zones early kickoff that is where it's like alright that's stupid I wish the NFL would just nicks all those like I don't understand why we're starting to tailgate at like nine in the morning that is just bananas but
- 18:26[SPEAKER_02]: It is Raheem against his former team.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_02]: Mike Evans hates these guys.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_02]: You've got a handful of 49ers over there.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_02]: You got Jeff Olbrick, who's a career-long tech aide, nineer as their defensive coordinator.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_02]: There's a lot there.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_02]: You've got Michael Pinnick's, you know, saying what he said.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_02]: You've got Christian McCaffrey, a B-John Robesity, although they don't technically play against each other.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_02]: It matters.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_02]: They train together in the offseason.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_02]: I think B-John's the best running back in the NFL right now.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_02]: Don't overlook this.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_02]: Don't overlook this.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_02]: And if you're 40 nighters defender, they've got Drake London, they've got Kyle Pitz, they've got B. John Robinson.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_02]: It's pretty tough to be like, yeah, we can overlook this game.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_02]: But that roster man, it is built for one thing and it's playing with the lead.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_02]: When the when the land of Falcons are playing from behind,
- 19:19[SPEAKER_02]: They are rough, and I want to get more into that in a second.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_02]: I want to say shout out to my manfield for the Super Chat.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_02]: Hashtag, TCC, Hashtag, TCC.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_02]: Mike Evans is already number nine on the NFL, talked in all time receiving touchdowns.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_02]: It's hard to think back to a free agent wide receiver that the 49ers have acquired.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_02]: That has lived up to what Mike Evans has done in six games.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not sure what the answer is there.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know is there anybody that comes to mind for you that kind of lives up to this?
- 19:55[SPEAKER_02]: You had the rainy moss.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_02]: You had Pierre Garzawn.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like those are the recent ones, but this is different.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't think that, you know, the 49ers have really picked up any Hall of Famers, you know.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_01]: in free agency.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_01]: I think the closest thing would in recent memory, probably the trade for Antoine Bolden.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I think that he lived up to the expectations he came in and really helped that 49ers offense, but that was a trade.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_01]: As far as free agency, the fact that got Mike Evans and what was crazy about it is I think there was an initial excitement from about half the fan base and the other half was like, he's old.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_01]: Why do we want an old wide receiver?
- 20:32[SPEAKER_01]: And I just didn't understand it because
- 20:34[SPEAKER_01]: Mike Evans was going to be a legit expert seever that the 49ers could use and you can see the effect that he has you know and during the off season Jerry Gray talked about the effect of Mike Evans and the defense slanting his direction at some point and if you don't do that he's going to get you You finally started seeing it the defenses are going to have to start paying attention to him and that's going to open things up for everybody else
- 21:03[SPEAKER_01]: most of them came through the draft.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_01]: So, yeah, it's crazy to think that they got Mike Evans infre agency on a discount.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_01]: The effect that he has on this team is crazy.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_02]: If you want to tell me Mike Evans signed for like 22 million a year, I would have been like, yeah, make sense.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_02]: You have it for 13.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_02]: Like you got my Kevin's for a value.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Christian Kirk for a value too.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_02]: And so it just a testament to the 49ers Brock Perti, Kyle Shetty and guys want to be here with the 49ers.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_02]: They are a special team.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_02]: I love it.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_02]: And man, even her Trent say, you know, they asked him about play.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_02]: The commander's last week.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_02]: It is like, man, I don't even remember my time there.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_02]: He's like, I've been here longer than I've been there.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_02]: Like, that is beautiful.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_02]: The fact that he got drafted top five was there for like, seven, eight years.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, man, I don't even remember that time.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_02]: This is a special place.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_02]: And I know people always want to crap on it with the substation and taxes.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_02]: I get it.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_02]: I get it.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_02]: This is where guys that want to win come consistently.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_02]: Don't forget that Kimbro, thanks for the super chat.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_02]: So excited to see Greenlaw back.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_02]: You're telling me, after last game, I think they sell out to stop the run since we are depleted at wide receiver.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_02]: That is a little bit of a concern for me, Kimbro.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_02]: You get into the fourth quarter of the commander's game, up 13 points, and you don't run the ball one time with a called run.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_02]: In back to back positions, six straight past plays, back to back three and outs, you allow the commanders back in the game.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_02]: Kyle Sheneyhand will allow defenses to check him out of a run play by their alignment.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_02]: That's always going to be a concern for me with shade of hand and even heard Roddy White talk about that on the K-Addleb show where like man, I don't think Kyle can win the Super Bowl because he's too aggressive with his play calling and those pressure situations.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_02]: I really do wish he would rely on the run more.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_02]: What is your take?
- 22:57[SPEAKER_02]: Ant on kind of the fourth quarter against the commanders.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_02]: Let's look back a little bit.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_02]: Was it a misstep to go past past past past six plays in a row up 13 in the fourth quarter at home?
- 23:10[SPEAKER_01]: take it out.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_01]: I think there's times right that you can you can look at the 49ers offense and say, Hey, why didn't you lean on Christian McAfrey here?
- 23:18[SPEAKER_01]: Why didn't you get the run game going try to find something?
- 23:21[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I think you look at there's a sequence where Brock party runs the ball for six yards and they got a second and four.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that you know, maybe Kyle outsmarted himself on that and his play colors, you know, everyone does that.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_01]: You come into a situation like second and four.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_01]: They're expecting a run.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to catch them and we're going to get a first down and we're going to get this thing
- 23:41[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that that just didn't work out.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that the 49ers, they came to this game expecting to loosen up the commander's run defense with the passing game.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_01]: And I think the Kyle just never went away from that.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I wonder how many times they came to the line of Scrimmage and Brockford, he had the opportunity to flip the play to the other side.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_01]: And maybe he didn't do that, maybe he can the play instead.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know exactly the,
- 24:03[SPEAKER_01]: What they were trying to do as far as what two plays were called in the huddle, but my expectation would be that they would run the ball a little bit more in the fourth quarter.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_01]: And I felt like that offense was kind of at a sort.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe a George Kittle catch or something like that would have gotten that offense going, but it just didn't really work out for them.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I would love to see a little bit more running in the fourth quarter, and maybe they'll go to that in the future.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think you just got to stay committed and right here, Bobo, it's better to go three and out running than three and out passing kills the clock gives our defense a nice rest agreed and then maybe they don't even get the possession at the end, you know, when they had 50 seconds left to run plays.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_02]: That negates that entire last possession, but still got the win just it's okay to criticize it to kind of you know Monday morning quarterback that thing and look back at it, but I do have to say man, we went six or seven on our bets last week.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_02]: We post our bets every single week.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_02]: We have not had a negative week through six weeks.

- 26:33[SPEAKER_02]: We had a good week.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_02]: The only bet we missed was Eddie Piediaro Mr. that extra point that we had a negative six and a half point alternative line and that's the only one we missed.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_02]: We should've went 7 or 7.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_02]: That's okay.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_02]: Eddie Pied, get better.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_02]: Sky Walker, I love this.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_02]: Thanks for the super chat.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_02]: My Freddy says, I feel like the Niners are going to trade for someone we least expect.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_02]: Just like the draft, no one expected to charge
- 26:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, are there some dark horse guys that you're looking at and you're just like, you know what this would make sense.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_02]: This would make sense.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe this guy or there any names out there, I I'm going to continue to throw out stuff on digs.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_02]: I think that he would be a pretty good fit.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_02]: I know the off the field of antics are a lot.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_02]: But man, I just think that he could come in.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_02]: I think he fits perfectly with Brock, but your thoughts anybody in the trademark that kind of maybe people aren't talking about.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_01]: No, I mean, I've been trying to scour the trademark it to try to figure out what is this move that the 49ers are going to make and honestly the wide receivers really hard to find a move that makes sense right that for sure the short term it wasn't going to work out there was going to be nothing before Atlanta that made no sense.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_01]: But then who's going to be that guy that I feel like, if you trade, you have to find somebody that's going to help put you over the top.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_01]: I do think Diggs would be a nice addition to this team.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_01]: The problem is you're going to have curf, debo, democracy, they kind of do the same things.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_01]: Are they at the level of digs?
- 27:54[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know about that.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_01]: But.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_01]: I think that I don't know.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see a wide receiver move coming.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see that guy.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_01]: You know, there's so many of these players that get talked about, and I'm like, why?
- 28:04[SPEAKER_01]: These guys are not getting traded.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_01]: Minnesota is not trading away offensive talent.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_01]: They need all the offensive talent they can get.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_01]: Jacksonville is not going to trade away there guys.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_01]: And so I think that John Lynch is looking for these under the radar moves that are going to come up.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_01]: My guess is it'll probably be some sort of a defensive lineman or edge rusher.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_01]: that we're not aware is available and they'll probably become available in the next two weeks.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll see how that plays out.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_01]: Because I think that's where they really want to bolster as along the defensive line.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think they ever feel like they have enough.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_01]: Other than that, I don't know a position that they feel like they have to invest in because I think they feel like they are getting an influx of talent when it comes to wide receiver.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_02]: The number game gets difficult.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_02]: If you bring somebody in, somebody got to go.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_02]: And it's not as easy as just, oh, cut the guy at the end of the roster.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't work that way.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_02]: How do they contribute on special teams?
- 28:54[SPEAKER_02]: They're like, what does that do with our numbers?
- 28:56[SPEAKER_02]: It's gonna take a while to get them up to speed.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_02]: trades will happen and I do think plural trades will happen, but I'm not expecting prime time, Reggie White to join the 49ers.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_02]: I just don't see that.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_02]: Kim bro, thanks for super chat my man.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_02]: It's stout can't go.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_02]: Who do you put in that role?
- 29:14[SPEAKER_02]: They put Austin Davis in that role.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_02]: He did not play well.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_02]: I like a lot more kicking Diomedor LaNore inside to have a Jack Jones out there.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_02]: He has it had good games either.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_02]: How do you want to handle this nickel kind of situation?
- 29:29[SPEAKER_02]: Atlanta does 11% man, I have the numbers here where they're at offensively.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, 55.8% of the time they're in 11 personnel.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_02]: So the nickel's going to be getting a lot of snaps.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_02]: Do they go big nickel?
- 29:43[SPEAKER_02]: Do they stay base?
- 29:44[SPEAKER_02]: Do they rotate their corners?
- 29:46[SPEAKER_02]: If stout can't go, how do you address that?
- 29:49[SPEAKER_01]: I think they'll do a mixture of things.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_01]: I think sometimes you'll see a third safety out there on the field because of Kyle pits, uh, so sometimes you'll see Ashton Davis.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_01]: I think other times you'll see Dimo move inside and and they will have Jack Jones coming on the outside.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_01]: I think they're going to use a variety of things because the one thing I know about were heat Morris has he never wants an offense to feel comfortable.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_01]: with the looks that they're going to get, whether that's the coverage or the personnel.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_01]: He wants to kind of keep things moving and evolving.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_01]: And so I think that he's going to do a variety of different things.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_01]: Up and stout injury starts opening the door, potentially for Nate Hobbs, eventually to come back.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_01]: And so I think that that's something to watch as well.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_01]: As he would the four years decide to do with Nate Hobbs, because he would fill that role.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_01]: And he would do a pretty good job as the nickel corner for the 49ers and big nickel situations.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_01]: I think
- 30:32[SPEAKER_01]: They didn't really want to touch that.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_01]: They were hoping up the style was just going to be the guy all year.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_01]: But now that he's dealing with some of the shoulder injury, I think we're seeing the play fall off a little bit over the last couple of weeks.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe up to needs to get right.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_01]: I think that if he's not playing though, it's going to be a mixture of guys.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't think they have one answer.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_01]: I wish Marky Seagull was playing because Seagull Mustafa and Jair Brown would do a really good job.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_01]: And I think they could put Seagull and Jair in that slot position sometimes.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_02]: I would like that.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_02]: I can't wait for him to get back.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_02]: This is a name I haven't heard brought up.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_02]: Shout out to Ben and White Niners says how about an upgrade like Shamir Dike?
- 31:06[SPEAKER_02]: He is the I think second year wide receiver for the Tennessee Titans, but man they have a young core.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_02]: where, you know, they drafted Cardale Tate, they got Ellic, I am manor and then they paid one Dell Robinson for the next four years.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think that they trade him after what they paid him.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_02]: And so Dike is kind of the odd man out.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_02]: He just swapped him straight up for Cowling.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_02]: I would love that.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he is explosive, explosive, explosive as a returner.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_02]: I would prefer that.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_02]: What are your thoughts?
- 31:37[SPEAKER_02]: You remember Dike coming out?
- 31:38[SPEAKER_02]: He was a lot of fun.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he was, you know, I think that he's a, he's an exciting young player.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_01]: And I think if it depends on what you're looking for at the end of that wide receiver room, it has to be something like an helpful special team.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, this is one of the guys that makes sense, right, DK makes a lot of sense for what the 49ers would be looking for.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you seen them at Xavier Smith to the practice squad.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_01]: I thought that was preemptive, Dante Pettis was also a preemptive move where if we get healthy at wide receiver, we're going to have to make a move with Jacob
- 32:06[SPEAKER_01]: And we might roll through some guys on our practice squad that we could elevate.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_01]: So I think there's decisions that are going to have to come down at wide receiver because you start bringing to Marcus Robbins and off the IR.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_01]: Somebody's got to move off the 53-man roster.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_01]: And so who's that going to be?
- 32:21[SPEAKER_01]: I think if you look at Cowling, his one big advantage has been special teams.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_01]: If you add somebody that has special teams to this roster,
- 32:29[SPEAKER_01]: Then you could replace him because he just hasn't been good on offense and I was hoping that he was going to it just hasn't hasn't worked out Jory Walkens has played a little bit better even though he hasn't had a lot of production either I feel like he's been a little bit more consistent Yeah, I mean he played 40 snaps He's blocking better the clear out routes are there he's getting separation.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's time will come and like if you look at just the span of this season Cowen has regressed Special teams and offensively whereas
- 32:58[SPEAKER_02]: Jordan Walkets has increased his consistency.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_02]: I know it's not catches.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_02]: I know it's not yards, but he's not a negative out there.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_02]: And he was, for the longest time, Jordan Walkets was a major negative through training camp, through preseason, through early part, like he just couldn't get there.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_02]: All these entries, he's finally getting the snaps.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_02]: Eventually, he
- 33:18[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to get that opportunity, and I hope he takes advantage of it.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_02]: But Coward, if everybody was healthy, I don't think Coward would still be in the red and gold.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_02]: I hate putting that out there, and I don't like bringing negativity to things, but at the end of the day, our jobs watch tape and see tape and how do you make this team better?
- 33:36[SPEAKER_02]: Coward's not part of that equation right now.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_02]: That fair catch with 20 yards of cushion.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_02]: It was just like, okay, mentally, this guy's not ready.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_02]: He's just, it's in his head now.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_02]: It's almost like the kicker conundrum where between the ears matter so much and you get the shakes, it's hard to come over that.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_02]: And he's just making bad choice after bad choice, after bad choice.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_02]: I think that that kind of moves on.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_02]: Now, let's transition to Falcons Week.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_02]: What are some things you want to see done coaching schematically against these access power Atlanta Falcons?
- 34:12[SPEAKER_01]: I think you've got to make a one dimensional, you know, and that's going to be difficult.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_01]: Be's on Robinson.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_01]: He's one of the most explosive players in the NFL.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_01]: And when he gets these explosive runs, he's fourth best in the NFL with explosive runs over 10 yards.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's 15 of them.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_01]: So far this year, and then you look at the 49ers and they're the best against explosive runs in the NFL.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_01]: They've only given up four plus 10 yard runs.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_01]: So this is one of those strength on strength types of situations, but they need to slow down
- 34:40[SPEAKER_01]: They're effective enough on third down.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think that Michael Pentech's junior is good enough to consistently beat pressure to be able to get the ball to his playmakers and I think that if the 49ers can get to some third and mediums of third and longs, they're going to have an opportunity to get some stops and get off the field.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_01]: They were really good against the commanders early in that game.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_01]: Pendle these are what killed them some phantom calls really got some first downs for the commanders and extended drives But I think that that's the thing that we need from the 49ers is that also Atlanta has a tendency to turn over the football a little bit You have to take advantage when those turnovers come so I think that that's gonna be one of the keys and a who doesn't like a heavy way Fight of be John Robinson vs. Drey Greenlaw on Fred Warner.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_01]: I can't wait for that's gonna be a heck of a matchup
- 35:25[SPEAKER_02]: And Brian Robinson to the physicality he brings his former team and it's funny.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I'm looking at the history of the matchup.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_02]: The 49ers have dominated this 49 to 33 with one side They played last year week seven back to back years week seven matchups That's a little crazy that happened very often.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_02]: It's so back to the comment earlier about Shenahan being so bad during this week of October
- 35:49[SPEAKER_02]: Man, you just look back.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_02]: It was Michael Pinnick's last year.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_02]: Michael Pinnick goes 21 of 38, 241 yards, a touchdown, a fumble, not good.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_02]: Max Jones won the game.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_02]: And Bishon had 14 carries for 40 yards.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_02]: And that defense last year, we seven was nowhere near what it is now.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_02]: I would argue that was one of the better looking games for the 49ers defense.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_02]: Michael Pinnick's just did not look.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_02]: adequate and I mean they're hot and cold.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_02]: If the falcons could keep the game close early, I think this is going to come down to the fourth quarter because I think that there are front runner team that if they stick with the run, then they're going to be effective.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_02]: But as you saw last week, if they fall behind, they threw the boss 72%.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_02]: a place against Chicago.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_02]: And that game was like 31 to 10 and then, you know, Chicago sub-dollar people out and they got some garbage points, 21, 31 was the final score.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_02]: But that game was not close.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_02]: Was not close.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_02]: So, I don't know, the 49ers in the first quarter this year have been on fire.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_02]: I expect that to continue.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_02]: This Atlanta Falcons defense is interesting.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_02]: How do you see the attack strategy for the 49ers offense against his Falcons defense?
- 37:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, my first thought was you're going to have to do what you did last week, loosen them up.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_01]: They're a really good run defense.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to throw the ball early.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_01]: I think it around the ball.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_01]: But I saw what Chicago was doing to the Atlanta Falcons rushing defense.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm thinking to myself, the 49ers can establish a run game early.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_01]: I know that they're big.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_01]: I know they're physical.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_01]: But there are some weaknesses out on the edge where you could take advantage and get some of that outside zone game going, make those defensive
- 37:32[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that would open up some of the play action game for Brock Perti.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to want to run more 21 personnel, 12 personnel, and get him on the move and allow him to kind of find some of these receivers in space that will help out George Kittle.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_01]: That will help out McAfrey in the passing game.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_01]: But I think also cow use check needs to be a part of the passing game this week.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_01]: So I would normally say the past to set up the run, but this week I think they can actually go with the run.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_01]: I think that they can run the ball on the Atlanta Falcons just because
- 38:00[SPEAKER_01]: I looked for them to get the run game going early with Christian McCaffrey and sprinkling some K-lon black because I think there's some opportunities out there.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_01]: One thing I want to see from K-lon black, get your head up, kid.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes he has his head down, he just runs into the back of his offensive lineman, you know, get your eyes up, see what's going to happen, if it's a defender, okay, run them over.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_01]: But it's interesting to watch him sometimes go up and just hate a lineman right in the back.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like,
- 38:24[SPEAKER_01]: Might as we have some of the the high school kids that used to go just like don't get your face up see what you're doing I have a tail and black when he sees it.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_01]: He's really good
- 38:32[SPEAKER_02]: It reminds me of a pierle of floor and dodgeball, right?
- 38:35[SPEAKER_02]: He gets out the fricking blindfold.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_02]: That's a bold strategy, Cotton, like he just run straight into his dude.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_02]: And there'll be a little crease that if he's just a foot over, he's got to hit the crease and get two to three more yards.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_02]: Nope, right up the rear end of his own blocker consistently.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_02]: He runs so hard though.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_02]: Still no tin yard rush attempts on the year.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_02]: That is crazy.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_02]: Ah, and now talk to me a little bit.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_02]: Let's look backwards.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_02]: There were 14 snaps where Christian McAfrey was split out wide last week.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_02]: And you even saw some Christian McAfrey taking the zero snaps with Kailin Black in the backfield.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_02]: Talk to me about the adjustments that makes for an opposing defense.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_02]: And do we expect to see more of that with both Christian McAfrey and Kailin Black on the fill is same time?
- 39:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think we can expect to see more, especially right now with there's some injuries normally it was debo right debo was kind of doing that that type of thing and teams was still looking at him as a wide receiver but with K-Long black and Christian McAfrey how do they do their personal grouping are they going to look at that as McAfrey's a wide receiver when K-Long blacks out there and get a defensive back out there.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_01]: probably what they should do, but then does that open them up to the rushing attack.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_01]: So I think a lot of it's going to be determined the amount the 49ers do by what the personnel grouping from the defense looks like.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_01]: If they get a favorable matchup, they're going to do it.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_01]: But some of it might be necessity to this week, because we don't know what the wide receiver room is going to look like.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_01]: And I would much rather have Christian McCaffrey as the slot wide receiver than Jacob Cowling or Jordan Watkins right now.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_01]: I just would.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_01]: I think that he's a better route runner.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_01]: He wins consistently.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_01]: Brock pretty has a confidence and Christian McCaffrey as so I think necessity is part of it.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_01]: But I do kind of like McCaffrey out there with K-Lon black running of the football all the backfield.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_01]: And so I think we're going to see more of it.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if we'll see 14 snaps, but I wouldn't be surprised to see 8 to 10 snaps this week against the Atlanta Falcons.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and you know, I want to second this from Ben.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_02]: He says, Jordan James is looks so explosive on kick returns.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_02]: I love to see if he gets some touches of offense.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_02]: I went hold your breath.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_02]: I would love to see that as well.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, gosh, I mean, I'm to the point now where D bow comes back.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_02]: You just put Jordan James is one kick return or D bow as one wherever the ball goes.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_02]: You let those guys return.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_02]: You don't have to flip it and switch and all that and have a primary return.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_02]: Jordan James has been that good and that consistent.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_02]: It hasn't fumbled a ball knock on wood, all that stuff, but like the explosiveness is there.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_02]: He's getting past the 30 consistently.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_02]: Will Jordan change me effect or at any point without injuries?
- 41:08[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think so, sadly.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_01]: No, I wish they would run him a little bit more and short yard in situations.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_01]: He runs with more weight behind him, then K-Long Black.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he does.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_01]: He pushes the pile forward.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_01]: He's really good in Oregon, is short yard in situations and goal line touchdown.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_01]: So I would like to see him a little bit more in those.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_01]: I think sometimes we've seen K-Long Black even though he runs so hard.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_01]: Doesn't get the extra push moving forward.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_01]: He kind of can get stopped at time.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_01]: So I would love to see Jordan James get those.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think he's going to though.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_01]: I think they're going to roll with that two man rotation and less there's an injury.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_01]: And then once Debo comes back, Debo will get kind of the the off carries there will like three to five carries a game.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I don't see it for Jordan James might as an injury, but I would love it.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_01]: I would love to see him do because I think it's short yard, so you can be very effective.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I like that.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, I see a people, you know, CJ says, yeah, Dibo should just play it off.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_02]: It's yet notorious.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_02]: He says, do we really want Tibo still returning kicks?
- 42:04[SPEAKER_02]: Kind of sort of, I do.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_02]: It's just, man, those fumbles are the killer that that's I hold my breath every time Dibo feels a kick because stuff that huge is going to happen for the offense or the defense.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean?
- 42:16[SPEAKER_02]: Like a big place coming, you just don't know who it's for.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_02]: Maria, I think people are underestimating Kirk's return.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_02]: We should get D-Rop back by the buy, D-Bo2.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_02]: The defense is looking amazing.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_02]: Rookiees are showing out not opposed to a trade though.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_02]: Let's focus on Kirk this week.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_02]: Only at four practices so far with Brock Perti, it is a tire-neiner career.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_02]: It's this the week he is activated.
- 42:42[SPEAKER_02]: It's this the week he gets snaps and if so, how much?
- 42:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think it is.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_01]: I think this is going to be the week that he's activated.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_01]: I think that prepared for that.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_01]: I think the practice report kind of illustrated that too.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_01]: He's went from limited to full participant and practice.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's a signal that they're ready to put them on and put them out there.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that he's going to have an impact on this game.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if it'll be a big impact.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_01]: But I think the Brock Peri is going to get him the ball because the one thing I can say about Christian Kirk is he's been around long enough to know where he's supposed to be and he's a very experienced guy who's got to get where he's supposed to be so I love him against zone coverage.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_01]: I love him kind of sitting down getting comfortable in some nice areas and I think he's going to be a nice safety blanket for Brock Peri at times.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_01]: But he's got the ability to threaten you down the field just last year he was threatening people down the field with vertical plays and so I think that he's a well rounded wide receiver that's going to be a.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_01]: a big addition for the 49ers.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_01]: And right away, I thrust him to the top of that list.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_01]: You'll Mike Evans, Christian Kirk right now would be why receivers wanted to.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how many snaps he gets though.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_01]: You know, probably 20, I would say that would probably be the top in for a Christian Kirk, but they give you makes an impact in those 20 snaps.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's just put them in the
- 43:55[SPEAKER_02]: it's it's an easier playbook.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's the easiest of the wide receiver spots to learn.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_02]: It's pretty stationary for the most part.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_02]: There's some movements in the shenanigans offence, but it's not the Z roll, and it sure is like the X roll with you know, every single play out there.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_02]: So I want to see Kirk play this week.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't think he'd play last week, and got a little bit of flag for that, but he did it.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_02]: I'm wrong on a lot of stuff.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see if my wide receiver roll keeps going.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_02]: I think Evans and Kirk play this week.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_02]: Now, and talk to us a little bit about your Patreon, how we can support the show, where we can support the show, and if we do support the show, talk to to us about all the badass content we get.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, 49ers cut back on Patreon slash Patreon.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_01]: You guys can go and check that out.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but including the breakdowns are over on Patreon.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_01]: I put a,
- 44:41[SPEAKER_01]: standalone show last night.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_01]: We were talking about, I was talking about Grayson Holton.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how many people know about Grayson Holton, but his numbers right now against the run or ridiculous, and he's also top 10 when it comes to pressure rate for rookies as far as the past rusher.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_01]: It's amazing.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_01]: So I went through it and found some cool stuff that was about the 49ers and some of the impact that they've had from Grayson Holton, the Ramello height, the Trent Williams.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_01]: And so I put a standalone video out there that's available over on Patreon.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_01]: more of that to come and of course you know the breakdowns and stuff like that available as well.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_02]: Dude, I love it.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_02]: Go support.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_02]: And if you haven't subscribed to 40 hours cut back on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts wherever dude, and let me just give you guys a little trick.

- 45:30[SPEAKER_02]: That helps us.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_02]: So anyway, freeway to support, show your love, go support and he's one of a freaking kind.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_02]: Look at this, even our fans are hindered.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_02]: uh... Matt that's my point Matt is headed to Atlanta flat tire on played flat delayed still going to make it can't stop the faithful that's right man uh... we are not putting fans on i are you got to be there Matt i need to see a brother air for anybody that is coming out to the faculty's game company with us we're gonna be at sports and social the day before two to six
- 46:03[SPEAKER_02]: I've got to be a credible right by the brave stadium, one of my favorite venues pretty excited about that one and then our tailgate's got to be bonkers, all you can eat, all you can drink, premium, everything kids free, always one block to the stadium, we'll do our march to the stadium together, we start early 49ers rushroadtrip.com and let's get to some more comments, questions, scheme, I know you got more notes and if not, I got some notes here.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_02]: What are some other things you want to see in this Falcon's game?
- 46:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, I want to see the 49ers really take a couple shots down the field.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_01]: I've been calling for for a couple weeks, and they haven't been able to get that shot.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_01]: That vertical shot that will really open up the middle of the field.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_01]: And we've seen some of these teams start kind of inching up.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_01]: You know, they're kind of inching up on Christian McAfrey, George Kittle.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_01]: And so I want to see some of those shots.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_01]: I know that Mike Evans made that great catch up the scene and he was able to get the extra yards.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_01]: But that's Mike Evans.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_01]: Where's the, you know, I want to see it from somebody else.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_01]: I want to see somebody test.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_01]: of the Atlanta Falcons defense because when you look at their secondary, they haven't been great.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_01]: They've been dealing with injuries.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_01]: They've had guys out, but they give up over 250 yards per game through the air.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_01]: This is a secondary that can be had.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_01]: This is an opportunity for the 49ers, but the 49ers are coming in with a wide receiver room that's not exactly the most dynamic as far as what they've been doing so far on the field.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, this is one, one of the areas I want to see them take a shot vertically down the field and get some opportunities for a George kiddo and Christian McCaffrey underneath because of those shots.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_01]: Who's going to do it.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_01]: Cowling, walk in, Brennan cooks, maybe Christian Kirk.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_01]: That's the one I'm kind of looking at now.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_01]: We just haven't seen it yet.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_02]: It's rough with just how the wide receiver position has been decimated, but there's still some speed there and yeah, walk is he could run those clear out routes and I'm like, dude, you got to look back sometime a lot of times that clear out route will take the corner and safety and it aim for that midpoint and just you know run a 40 yard dash.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_02]: And he won't ever look back and I'm like dude, at least look back at the quarterback once you get to safety depth just peaked back because Brock might hit you Anyway, that's all another thing failed my man.
- 48:07[SPEAKER_02]: He says when is the zoom hang out?
- 48:10[SPEAKER_02]: It is next week.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_02]: It's gonna be Tuesday Wednesday Thursday next week I'm not sure the exact date yet.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_02]: I'm trying to get through this trip
- 48:17[SPEAKER_02]: I will let you guys know I got to talk with the wife and get on the calendar, but a next week we'll have our zoom hangout that would do once a month during the by week to make sure that you guys still got your niner content.
- 48:27[SPEAKER_02]: We'll reassess the year and all those things that's available at the 49ersrush.com in our Patreon channel.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_02]: Go check that out.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_02]: We will be doing that next week.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_02]: So stay tuned for those dates.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_02]: I need to get those on there.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_02]: If you have bid right here, come on,
- 48:46[SPEAKER_02]: To say he is due is an understatement right here at john how about adding a number one tied in this would take care of all of it.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_02]: I have been on the bandwagon of Luke Feral all season until last week.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_02]: I thought he had his worst game of special teams, I thought he had his worst game, run blocking, pass blocking routes, I thought he had his worst game as a 49er, which is saying a lot whenever you look at last year, Luke Feral was terrible in this game of a big reason why they were able to catch up late in the game.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I don't know what are your thoughts.
- 49:23[SPEAKER_02]: We all this talk about wide receiver and deline.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_02]: should the nine as a choir tied in?
- 49:29[SPEAKER_02]: Where does that fit on your radar?
- 49:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I wouldn't be opposed to it.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_01]: I think if they were going to add a tie-in, they'd want to get somebody that's probably a pass catcher.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_01]: They still want Luke Farrell to stay in the role that he's in.
- 49:39[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, you have Braden Willis, but I mean, you could move on from Braden Willis, and I like Braden Willis, don't get me wrong.
- 49:46[SPEAKER_01]: But I think that they would love to have more production from tie-in, they'd love more 12 personnel where
- 49:51[SPEAKER_01]: the second tight in this danger.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_01]: I think this would have been a very heavy, Jake Tangis game if Jake Tangis was healthy.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_01]: So I think there's an avenue for that.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_01]: Now who's it going to be?
- 50:01[SPEAKER_01]: Could you get the charges to give you David and Joku for super cheap?
- 50:05[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe that would be a player you could plug and play.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_01]: He's actually a pretty good blocker as well.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_01]: So you could get a more of a one-two punch going there with George Kittle.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_01]: I like that avenue.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's usually cheaper, but you still get some some personal advantages by getting those guys and in joke I think we'll be a problem in the red zone as well where the foreigners are still unbelievable So I'm not opposed to that.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_01]: I think that that would be a way to go about it that it's not wide receiver But yeah, tight and getting playmakers for rock prairie is still important
- 50:31[SPEAKER_02]: Man, I was so big on signing in and Joku in the offseason now.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, dude, just sign them, sign them, just sign them.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_02]: And they never did.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_02]: I'd be happy with that.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_02]: The torius, look at this, appreciate your membership and your support.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_02]: He says, Tom Selic announced for the 49ers official UK watch party.
- 50:46[SPEAKER_02]: Got any questions.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_02]: I could ask him.
- 50:49[SPEAKER_02]: Dude, how cool is that?
- 50:50[SPEAKER_02]: I saw on the chat that you were doing the bus right down.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's incredible.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_02]: You know, those UK watch parties.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_02]: been.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_02]: I love the faithful UK chapter.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_02]: They are the best.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_02]: Dude, that's going to be a blast.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_02]: I don't have any specific questions.
- 51:05[SPEAKER_02]: Just tell them your fan.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 51:09[SPEAKER_02]: I'm bad at interacting with pro athletes.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_02]: I just say hi.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_02]: I don't say anything else.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_02]: But Wayne tries to fight them.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_02]: So that's where it's a little bit different.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_02]: What are your thoughts here on Tom Selich, UK watch party London?
- 51:22[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, that's awesome.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, is this like Tom Selec like Magnum?
- 51:26[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I'm wondering.
- 51:27[SPEAKER_01]: Is it Selec or is this Garrett Selec like, you know, I don't know.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if it's Tom Selec.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the stash, you know, that's that's pretty impressive.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I don't know, that's that's crazy.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, yeah, I don't have any questions, but that's yeah, it's pretty cool.
- 51:44[SPEAKER_02]: That is cool.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, Garrett, select.
- 51:46[SPEAKER_02]: There we go.
- 51:46[SPEAKER_02]: A little bit different.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_02]: It's sell it time.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_02]: Just go up and say, what time is it?
- 51:50[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I would do.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_02]: You go.
- 51:52[SPEAKER_02]: And I remember he would do that.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_02]: They do the wind up and he would do the the celebration like he was like the toy soldier, whatever.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_02]: I thought that was cool.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Garrett, sell it was the man.
- 52:02[SPEAKER_02]: A sell it time baby.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_02]: He was kiddles like Bestie for a while it did all the grant work.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_02]: He was before Ross Dwellie.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_02]: Gosh man.
- 52:12[SPEAKER_02]: It's been some times since we've been talking Niners.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_02]: There's no doubt about it, but hopefully he has a blast.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_02]: Got one more question here.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_02]: What do you think about Calvin Ridley?
- 52:21[SPEAKER_02]: I am out.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_02]: That is not a player that I would like personally.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not a Calvin Ridley fan at this point in his career.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_02]: Consistency's not there.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_02]: I just, I don't know, and I could be wrong.
- 52:37[SPEAKER_01]: disagree at it's this where you're not going to go as far as me let's disagree here no actually have never been a fan in calon ridley the entire time uh... and i i talked about this the earlier in the week i don't think that he's a legitimate option for the mere fact that i think you got players coming back that are better than him i don't know where he would fit on the depth chart
- 52:55[SPEAKER_01]: in two weeks.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see it for him.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_01]: So to me, that one doesn't make sense.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, he's he's a guy that's definitely older not playing up to the level they were hoping.
- 53:05[SPEAKER_01]: This guy hasn't had a thousand or a season in a couple years.
- 53:07[SPEAKER_01]: So I think you already got guys like that Brandon Cook's Christian Kirk guys who are trying to stay relevant in the league.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think you need him.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_01]: So nom out on Calvin Ridley.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_02]: There we go.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_02]: Look at that.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_02]: The Tories be nice to yourself.
- 53:18[SPEAKER_02]: You are a legend.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_02]: You are an expert in fullbacks and tight ends.
- 53:22[SPEAKER_02]: Not at, oh, oh, I said tight ends.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe not.
- 53:25[SPEAKER_02]: You're, you're the fullback guy.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_01]: Just be the fullback guy.
- 53:28[SPEAKER_02]: You guys are the best.
- 53:30[SPEAKER_02]: It is always fun at the coach approach.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_02]: Everybody go, make sure you subscribe, like, listen, download to the 40 hours cut back wherever you watch or listen.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_02]: That's going to do it for us today.
- 53:40[SPEAKER_02]: I am not sure when my next show is going to be.
- 53:43[SPEAKER_02]: My plan is to record off air later tonight to air tomorrow while I'm in the plane.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_02]: So I'll have a show come out tomorrow, but it won't be a live show.
- 53:53[SPEAKER_02]: And talk to me about your schedule for this weekend because I'm going to be hosted events.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_02]: People got to get their nine years fix.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_02]: No better place to do that than with 49ers cut back.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_02]: What's the schedule for the rest of the week?
- 54:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, tomorrow I'm going to have a show coming out about the key matchups in the game deep dive into office of defense of key matchups Saturday will be the game preview show going through all the ins and outs and everything from top to bottom just covering the game 49ers for still and so yeah come through check those out and then of course after the game You know, John's going to go live at the stadium once he's done that's usually about when I go live so just hop right over and I'll be doing my reaction show after John's done we are the 1990s, you know, freaking
- 54:36[SPEAKER_02]: We're the bushwackers and we're just tag team in the post game show.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean?
- 54:40[SPEAKER_02]: That's what we're doing.
- 54:41[SPEAKER_02]: So I get my quick show, my drunken rant in from the stadium.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_02]: And then I handed off to aunt and he brings the logic and the expertise.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_02]: That's what we do here.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_02]: Crab cakes and football.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_02]: That's what we do.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, you guys are the best aunt.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you so much as always.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_02]: And until next time, as always, stay strong, faithful.
