- 0:04Speaker 1: Enough is enough.
- 0:05Speaker 2: I don't have any hill serious, sup, and we hold
- 0:09Speaker 2: the world ransom for.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Excuse me while I whip this out broadcasting live and
- 0:17Speaker 1: at Lanta to a joy. This this is the Sports
- 0:21Speaker 1: Shot Show with Wing Gandy.
- 0:23Speaker 3: You may Veganga Shore bring me t.
- 0:30Speaker 1: That come to five comes and it comes to mine?
- 0:33Speaker 4: Is it just go?
- 0:38Speaker 1: I'm a doing Yeah, I'm gonna go on the way
- 0:41Speaker 1: you made Bill Vegan. Welcome, Welcome, Welcome. I be listening
- 0:48Speaker 1: to the Sports Shock Show. I am the Sports Shock
- 0:50Speaker 1: Wing Gan d Good morning to you. And it is
- 0:53Speaker 1: raining here in Atlanta right now. Spring is in the
- 0:57Speaker 1: air polland already on the cars. The guys are ready
- 1:02Speaker 1: to go. Free agency in the NFL is going hot
- 1:06Speaker 1: and heavy. Big Kenny the funny man himself Comanche Gregg
- 1:10Speaker 1: in the building that the immoral bad producer right when
- 1:17Speaker 1: I got after fifteen years, sixteen years of knowing the
- 1:20Speaker 1: bad producer, he just keeps lowering the bar of you know,
- 1:25Speaker 1: and it's just funny and he really believes this stuff
- 1:29Speaker 1: as well. That's the best part. He just keeps going.
- 1:33Speaker 1: He has pac Man Jones as one of his confidants
- 1:37Speaker 1: now that he listens to because you know pac Man,
- 1:41Speaker 1: he served free chicken, so that erases everything else that
- 1:46Speaker 1: pac Man does. But we'll let him give you some
- 1:49Speaker 1: of what he worships at the Church of pac Man
- 1:53Speaker 1: a little later, because his whole thing is be immoral
- 1:58Speaker 1: as you can and then save a puppy, and that'll
- 2:04Speaker 1: take away from all I don't know where he gets
- 2:07Speaker 1: that from, but it doesn't help me out. It doesn't
- 2:12Speaker 1: even excuse things to me. A lot of people lived
- 2:14Speaker 1: by that cold. That's why we hang around the Bad Producer,
- 2:17Speaker 1: because it's the only way I can figure find those people.
- 2:20Speaker 1: I actually let that group of friends go about twenty
- 2:23Speaker 1: five years ago and picked up some new friends, the
- 2:26Speaker 1: ones that still hung out like that, to where I
- 2:30Speaker 1: can do ten things wrong and then do one thing
- 2:34Speaker 1: right and then try to get people to go along
- 2:37Speaker 1: with me. But he's the people who wanted Magic City
- 2:41Speaker 1: here in Atlanta to tear up State Farm Arena. The
- 2:46Speaker 1: NBA stepped in a couple of days ago shut that
- 2:49Speaker 1: whole thing down come Monday. So you will still be
- 2:54Speaker 1: able to go to the Magic Game. You will actually
- 2:56Speaker 1: still be able to get some wings, I guess you.
- 3:00Speaker 1: And once you put that order of wings in you
- 3:02Speaker 1: can't send them back. I don't know if they'll be
- 3:05Speaker 1: giving them out free, just walking around and letting people
- 3:08Speaker 1: grab through the you know, passing them down the aisle.
- 3:11Speaker 1: But they will still have that part they can't take away.
- 3:15Speaker 1: If you ordered your hoodie, they will be giving sending
- 3:20Speaker 1: those hoodies out. They won't be doing it selling them
- 3:23Speaker 1: actually at the game. So they shut down the couple
- 3:27Speaker 1: of moments where they were going to have different people
- 3:31Speaker 1: like Magic himself to come out and accept an award.
- 3:36Speaker 1: So all that got shut down, and the NBA, I
- 3:39Speaker 1: think heard the cries and the pleas of the minority,
- 3:44Speaker 1: because it seems especially at least here, but the majority
- 3:48Speaker 1: of people and you just go down and it's something
- 3:50Speaker 1: about the Atlanta mail and growing up around all this
- 3:56Speaker 1: strip club environment. So people out there, women especially man
- 4:05Speaker 1: tell you from Atlanta right understand that his principles is
- 4:10Speaker 1: built on the strip club. That's how he sees life.
- 4:15Speaker 1: You see the people that were defending it, they were
- 4:17Speaker 1: all at aliens as they called him. It's normal, It's normalized,
- 4:23Speaker 1: that's how normal it is. I was at would Academy yesterday.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Good friend of mine, his son runs track for Woodward
- 4:34Speaker 1: just stand in the stands saw our but he two
- 4:38Speaker 1: chains at shoot Jack at the track meet, and for
- 4:44Speaker 1: a while now when I see two chains, because he
- 4:47Speaker 1: was a Hawk fan. I used to go to all
- 4:48Speaker 1: the Hawk games. I would look over and, you know,
- 4:52Speaker 1: listen to a couple of songs he put out, and
- 4:54Speaker 1: he would bring his kids sometimes and I would always
- 4:58Speaker 1: it would always flick in my head, like, but none
- 5:02Speaker 1: of that stuff you was rapping on those songs? Are
- 5:04Speaker 1: you gonna let those people get into coming forward? I
- 5:12Speaker 1: go to the track meet two changes there. Daughter is
- 5:16Speaker 1: a terrific athlete on jumper, high jumper, tripper jumper. She's
- 5:21Speaker 1: going to Howard. What a great university Howard. So where
- 5:32Speaker 1: is all the songs? Though?
- 5:34Speaker 4: Too?
- 5:35Speaker 1: Why is she going to do the stuff you want
- 5:38Speaker 1: all these other young ladies to do. All I want
- 5:42Speaker 1: for my birthday is a big booty gut. So you're
- 5:45Speaker 1: selling a product that you're not using. Remember we made
- 5:50Speaker 1: that that joke with Tom Brady. Tom Brady in the
- 5:54Speaker 1: Pizza Hut people was like, Tom Brady, don't eat Pizza
- 5:58Speaker 1: Hut outright, because you don't really you really want to
- 6:00Speaker 1: believe the person eats lives what they say, right, at
- 6:07Speaker 1: least make the lie believable. So bad producer, Why is
- 6:11Speaker 1: his daughter going to Howard and not Magic City when
- 6:16Speaker 1: his songs say all I want for my birthday is
- 6:20Speaker 1: a big booty girl. And a lot of those women
- 6:22Speaker 1: are athletic, excellent athletes. If you've seen the shows, you
- 6:26Speaker 1: know that they can't do that. Come on, enlighten me,
- 6:28Speaker 1: Pacman Jones, What do you mean why is she going out?
- 6:31Speaker 5: She got offered, I mean she was accepted and she's No,
- 6:34Speaker 5: that's not that's not what his music said.
- 6:36Speaker 1: His music said, don't worry about all that. Well, he's
- 6:39Speaker 1: an entertainer and it's entertainment. Oh you're entertainment. Now, you're
- 6:42Speaker 1: the you're the you're the poster child of coming in
- 6:44Speaker 1: here confessing about songs and man.
- 6:48Speaker 6: You heard what Tip said, running through the checkerboard, running
- 6:53Speaker 6: through the red light.
- 7:01Speaker 1: It's all it was sports and entertainment. No, it's not. Yeah,
- 7:08Speaker 1: a man like to change saying something with his influence
- 7:11Speaker 1: actually carries well, I mean, we we gotta throw everything
- 7:16Speaker 1: in the lake.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Now.
- 7:17Speaker 1: No, I'm not asking about lakes to everything. I'm not
- 7:20Speaker 1: talking about lakes and I'm not talking about I was
- 7:21Speaker 1: talking about two changed daughter going to Howard which is
- 7:24Speaker 1: a prestigious university, and congratulations, But why does his music
- 7:29Speaker 1: my little cousin to do something else? Let me ask you,
- 7:33Speaker 1: why doesn't his lyrics say all I want for my
- 7:36Speaker 1: birthday is for women to go to college towards you
- 7:41Speaker 1: and because because the power, the power that does not
- 7:49Speaker 1: sell No, no, no, no, you can sell it. Sir?
- 7:51Speaker 1: What high school was this that you saw her? Woodward Academy, Academy?
- 7:56Speaker 7: What?
- 7:57Speaker 8: What?
- 7:58Speaker 1: How close is that to the trap?
- 8:00Speaker 5: How close?
- 8:01Speaker 1: Quick?
- 8:01Speaker 4: Quick?
- 8:01Speaker 1: Quick?
- 8:01Speaker 9: Quick?
- 8:01Speaker 1: Quick? How close is that to the trap? Sir? Where's
- 8:04Speaker 1: the when you spending the block and you at high school?
- 8:12Speaker 1: Oh yeah, he's running around three or four, But it's
- 8:14Speaker 1: not a regular high school. It's in cat me yeah, me.
- 8:22Speaker 1: And the only reason I has bad producer not you too,
- 8:24Speaker 1: because when I saw it, the person who came in
- 8:26Speaker 1: my mind is the bad producer. Instantly, instantly, instantly that
- 8:30Speaker 1: these things don't correlate listening.
- 8:35Speaker 6: I could be standing in the strip club and something
- 8:38Speaker 6: happened and automatically think about the bad producer. That's the
- 8:41Speaker 6: kind of impact he's had on the culture.
- 8:44Speaker 10: Is you?
- 8:45Speaker 1: I know the bad producer and seen this before? So
- 8:49Speaker 1: and now all of a sudden it becomes it's just entertainment. Well, okay,
- 8:55Speaker 1: so we're just selling it as entertainment. He should say
- 8:59Speaker 1: that before each this is just entertainment when you know
- 9:03Speaker 1: what wrestling do. At the end, they tell you, don't
- 9:07Speaker 1: get in the end, don't try this at home.
- 9:09Speaker 5: Try these these are professional Well, well they are professionals,
- 9:13Speaker 5: highly trained, well at the lete, thanks to.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Controlled environment, thanks to people. They have labels. We don't
- 9:23Speaker 1: know nothing about all that right there. All that is
- 9:26Speaker 1: that stuff you hand out under the tree, playing checkers
- 9:28Speaker 1: that try to misdirect people. We'll be back with more
- 9:31Speaker 1: the Sports Jock Show right after this.
- 9:47Speaker 3: Joh't Bowl Wayne Born of The Sports John Show with
- 9:49Speaker 3: Wayne Damvidio's coming up next.

- 9:54Speaker 7: Air Force and I deployed three times. Being a veteran,
- 9:57Speaker 7: it's interwoven into your DNA is really the absence of
- 10:00Speaker 7: the connection and the purpose that can really drive a
- 10:03Speaker 7: lot of veterans to some my negative thoughts. For those
- 10:05Speaker 7: who are in a suicidal crisis, the window of time
- 10:09Speaker 7: to save somebody's life is very short. Our duty is
- 10:11Speaker 7: to protect ourselves and protect our families. And one way
- 10:14Speaker 7: you can do that is store your weapons safely. Store
- 10:17Speaker 7: all your guns securely. Help Stop Suicide.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Brought to you by End Family Fire and the AD Counsel.

- 10:29Speaker 11: to hear?
- 10:30Speaker 12: So sometimes that I'm now listening to I would just
- 10:32Speaker 12: want you to listen to me more often and evaluate
- 10:35Speaker 12: situations with me and lead me towards success.
- 10:39Speaker 11: Listening is a form of love. Find resources to help

- 12:35Speaker 14: Now it's time to present the Jock of the day
- 12:38Speaker 14: on the Sports Joctures.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Taken it to a completely different level this.
- 12:42Speaker 14: Year where we highlight an appolete that has taken their
- 12:45Speaker 14: game to the next level.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Welcome back to this What shock shall I'm this what Shock?
- 13:09Speaker 1: Wayne Canny. Good morning to you out there and listening
- 13:13Speaker 1: land NFL Free Agency. It started hot, Big Kenny, real
- 13:17Speaker 1: quick before we move on. I know you said something
- 13:20Speaker 1: about Magic City. I know the bad Producer brought us
- 13:22Speaker 1: the tagline that was going around about how well, if
- 13:26Speaker 1: you do this with the canceling of Magic City, then
- 13:29Speaker 1: you got to go and cancel other things. Of Drinking
- 13:34Speaker 1: and morality are two different things. There's nothing wrong with drinking.
- 13:41Speaker 1: There's something wrong with becoming an alcoholic. There's nothing wrong
- 13:46Speaker 1: with ping. And I would choose for my daughter to
- 13:48Speaker 1: have a Martini in the clap her booty for the
- 13:52Speaker 1: bad producer, what about you, I'd go with the martini.
- 13:57Speaker 1: I would go with the martini. Martini's fine. So when
- 14:00Speaker 1: people try to throw that out there, oh you got
- 14:03Speaker 1: to go and assess all the nights who said they're
- 14:06Speaker 1: not getting traffic on other nights. I know for a
- 14:10Speaker 1: fact there's one or two nights that they've always been
- 14:13Speaker 1: getting a lot of traffic about. But it's subjective where
- 14:20Speaker 1: your morality is. And why he keeps thinking that it's
- 14:25Speaker 1: okay and moral because of what he likes, his vice,
- 14:30Speaker 1: his fied dollar dance, I don't know.
- 14:33Speaker 6: And this is the thing again, so I would be
- 14:37Speaker 6: I would be a hypocritical slob to sit here and
- 14:42Speaker 6: try and to cry a lifestyle that I used to
- 14:46Speaker 6: be up to my neck in that street life, all
- 14:50Speaker 6: of that stuff.
- 14:51Speaker 1: I understand.
- 14:52Speaker 6: People make choices, and a lot of people benefit from
- 14:55Speaker 6: those choices. My problem is that I've accepted that th
- 15:00Speaker 6: those things never were right. And when we did them,
- 15:04Speaker 6: we did them in places where everybody there had accepted
- 15:09Speaker 6: that this ain't right.
- 15:10Speaker 5: We kept it in the bottom, We kept it in
- 15:12Speaker 5: the hood, we kept it in the trap. Well, we
- 15:15Speaker 5: kept it on the block, but we kept it in
- 15:17Speaker 5: the spot. But now you want to bring it to
- 15:21Speaker 5: the State Farm Arena with my grandmama and my grandkids
- 15:25Speaker 5: and all of us sitting there, and you're.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Talking about clap clap water. Why I'm saying couldn't we
- 15:32Speaker 1: just have kept that at this club? Well, see for it.
- 15:35Speaker 5: Basically it got blowed out from what's saying. It's blowed
- 15:39Speaker 5: out for botch. It's basically would have been about the
- 15:40Speaker 5: Wings giving mister Barney an award, and what no dances
- 15:47Speaker 5: involved or anything like that.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Just see everybody. Soon as they heard Magic City Monday
- 15:51Speaker 1: at the game, they didn't call me about an award?
- 15:54Speaker 1: And uh so, why would they give mister Barney one
- 15:57Speaker 1: for starting the strip club? And they ain't called me
- 15:59Speaker 1: for one? And so they ain't called me for one.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Walt the man did forty years ago was to start
- 16:07Speaker 1: a den of clap clap, what you call it wattle wattle,
- 16:12Speaker 1: And you want to give him an award for that?
- 16:14Speaker 1: Let's give me you an award. That's what you wanted.
- 16:18Speaker 1: That's who you decided. Let's get me to the war,
- 16:21Speaker 1: let's let's let's make let's have a b am F day.
- 16:24Speaker 5: Do you know how much money they pumped into the
- 16:26Speaker 5: economy just a Magic City. Do you know how much
- 16:30Speaker 5: money they pumped into the economy just on a Thursday night?
- 16:35Speaker 5: Why don't we give them an award? They changed the culture.
- 16:39Speaker 5: They've got movies. They've got clothing.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Adam Silver push us up to Hawks on little bit
- 16:45Speaker 1: in the playoffs. There after this one, Wow, Max Crosby
- 16:50Speaker 1: trade not going through. I know he's trying to talk
- 16:54Speaker 1: to Buddha. Temp a little bit or.
- 16:57Speaker 5: Do it.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Or some Buddha. Either way you'll calm down the Raiders,
- 17:04Speaker 1: Max Crosby, the Ravens. I thought the trade was going through.
- 17:08Speaker 5: Now.
- 17:09Speaker 1: The thing about this is we don't hear a lot
- 17:11Speaker 1: of this in football, but it does happen in basketball
- 17:17Speaker 1: and baseball trades where because remember, and that's sometimes with
- 17:22Speaker 1: the media, we put things out before things are solidified.
- 17:27Speaker 1: In the trade, we do have to go take a
- 17:30Speaker 1: physical I was traded once in my career from the
- 17:34Speaker 1: Saints to the Falcons, and it is contingent. Now, this
- 17:41Speaker 1: doesn't sell, like Greg says, it doesn't sell, but you
- 17:45Speaker 1: have to go. Each player has to go to the
- 17:48Speaker 1: other team. We talk about the combine. Correct the combine.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Every team sends their group of doctors and they make
- 17:59Speaker 1: their evaluation of what they feel like your health is
- 18:03Speaker 1: okay or how close you might be in their parameters.
- 18:09Speaker 1: What they're looking for not just physically, but also on
- 18:16Speaker 1: a scale of your health. Right, the combine sells you
- 18:19Speaker 1: l it's just about the four to two. No, it's
- 18:21Speaker 1: also about do you have a herniated disc? Yeah, but
- 18:26Speaker 1: it only really hurt when I be playing. I had
- 18:28Speaker 1: to go back to the combine because one of the
- 18:31Speaker 1: doctors said that I had a line on my spine.
- 18:39Speaker 1: I had to go back. So I went to the combine,
- 18:41Speaker 1: I took my physical. Because of this one team, one doctor,
- 18:44Speaker 1: I had to go back. Your great, Your great, Male
- 18:48Speaker 1: Kuiper went and started reporting that Gandhi is a high pick.
- 18:53Speaker 1: But information. That's why I'm big on information, because Male
- 18:59Speaker 1: Kuiper never called me or my agent. He just went
- 19:02Speaker 1: on what he heard information safe he say. The information
- 19:06Speaker 1: says Gandy is not expected to have a long career
- 19:10Speaker 1: because of his back. I don't know where that came from, manifested.
- 19:18Speaker 1: I have never won a back Brads had a back surgery,
- 19:21Speaker 1: and I'm about eighty fifth on the list all time
- 19:26Speaker 1: of games played, so all time, Craig in the world.
- 19:31Speaker 1: So I don't know where this whole thing.
- 19:33Speaker 5: When you stand up and it didn't look right now,
- 19:36Speaker 5: some of us just built different genetically stood.
- 19:43Speaker 1: So misinformation. But we will go to break come back
- 19:45Speaker 1: about Max Crosby and the Ravens, And I would imagine
- 19:49Speaker 1: Max Crosby if he could stay in the Raider black
- 19:52Speaker 1: and Silver, that's where he wanted to be anyway.
- 19:55Speaker 6: And that's what I want to ask you about sports
- 19:57Speaker 6: because to me, being traded and all that stuff sounds
- 20:00Speaker 6: like a breakup. And look, I don't love you no more.
- 20:04Speaker 6: I'm finna go with the Ravens. And then the Ravens
- 20:06Speaker 6: be like, Shorty, we was just friends. We'll be back
- 20:09Speaker 6: more to Sports Shock. Sh'll run up to this.
- 20:26Speaker 3: John Boy Wayne Boord of the Sports Josh Show with
- 20:29Speaker 3: Wayne Gandy. Yes, coming up next.
- 20:32Speaker 16: Let's take a moment to breathe deep in hell. Extend
- 20:37Speaker 16: your spine, remain focused on what you're doing. If safe
- 20:42Speaker 16: to do so, exhale slowly, leaning to one side in hell,
- 20:48Speaker 16: back to center. If safe to do so, exhale slowly
- 20:52Speaker 16: to the opposite side. Find mental health resources at Love

- 22:06Speaker 1: And now back to the sports John Wayne Candy in
- 22:13Speaker 1: the Radzoo, Welcome back to this What Shock Shun, This
- 22:39Speaker 1: What Shock wing Candy. Tuesday night, the Raiders announced that
- 22:43Speaker 1: the Ravens that had backed out of a trade agreement,
- 22:47Speaker 1: and it was due to medical concerns that arose doing
- 22:51Speaker 1: a physical in Baltimore for Max Crosby, a big tray
- 22:57Speaker 1: where Crosby was going from the Raiders to the Ravens
- 23:01Speaker 1: for a couple of big, high round picks and Tom
- 23:05Speaker 1: Brady and the power structure. With the Raiders, we're gonna
- 23:09Speaker 1: continue their rebuild. They had already poached the Ravens center Lottoman,
- 23:15Speaker 1: which gave them a great stability at that position out
- 23:19Speaker 1: in Vegas with Crosby twenty eight. He had surgery in
- 23:24Speaker 1: January to repair that tor meniscus in his left knee.
- 23:29Speaker 1: If you remember, he played like three or four games
- 23:31Speaker 1: the end the season with that meniscus tear. But the
- 23:36Speaker 1: Ravens for what they saw, and that's why I said,
- 23:39Speaker 1: these things are a team's team. There is no one report.
- 23:44Speaker 1: And when you're a free agent, you have to do
- 23:46Speaker 1: the same thing. You have to go past a physical.
- 23:48Speaker 1: So it's right, So traded or free agent, you've got
- 23:52Speaker 1: to go. They got to see the goods. They're gonna
- 23:54Speaker 1: go buy your history and they're gonna go by what
- 23:57Speaker 1: they want to see and it might just be one
- 23:59Speaker 1: thing different for every team that they are looking at.
- 24:03Speaker 1: But the kind of money that the Ravens were willing
- 24:05Speaker 1: to invest, and they showed you that by signing Trey
- 24:08Speaker 1: Hendrickson to a deal over one hundred million dollars, it
- 24:14Speaker 1: must have felt like after this surgery, maybe Crosby was
- 24:19Speaker 1: not going to be able to either get back to
- 24:21Speaker 1: the way they felt like he could get or they
- 24:23Speaker 1: just didn't want to have to manage right the injury.
- 24:28Speaker 1: And I think last season was it Lonzo ball. There's
- 24:32Speaker 1: been like That's what I said. NBA typically you will
- 24:35Speaker 1: see this where they try to make a trade and
- 24:37Speaker 1: the player doesn't pass the physical I've only really saw
- 24:41Speaker 1: it in the NBA more than any baseball and football. Yeah,
- 24:44Speaker 1: so when you look at it, Max Crosby, you're questioned
- 24:47Speaker 1: Big Kenny about returning home, returning home.
- 24:51Speaker 6: I and this is because my limited experience and access
- 24:56Speaker 6: to real information about professional sports. I always thought being
- 25:00Speaker 6: traded was akin to there being some sort of bad
- 25:03Speaker 6: blood between the athlete and the organization and they were
- 25:07Speaker 6: trying to move them. I always had assumed that even
- 25:10Speaker 6: if you were just using me as a valuable piece
- 25:15Speaker 6: to generate some draft picks or some trades that would
- 25:19Speaker 6: sour my feelings towards the organization.
- 25:22Speaker 1: So once you released me as a free agent, I
- 25:25Speaker 1: was gone.
- 25:26Speaker 6: If I got over to your house and you decided
- 25:28Speaker 6: you didn't want me like you thought you did, I
- 25:31Speaker 6: would just be out in the world looking for somebody
- 25:33Speaker 6: who was looking for somebody, you know what I mean.
- 25:36Speaker 6: But he gets to go back to with the same contract.
- 25:40Speaker 6: In all of that, to La well ta take. We
- 25:43Speaker 6: had a big trade here in Atlanta with the Hawks
- 25:46Speaker 6: Trey Young. The Hawks organization did not trade Trey Young
- 25:50Speaker 6: because Trey Young isn't a great player. Okay, They traded
- 25:54Speaker 6: treyon because the piece of the puzzle or how they
- 25:56Speaker 6: were trying to put the puzzle together, it just wasn't fitting.
- 25:59Speaker 6: Didn't it Trey Young anymore? And it sometimes the media.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Tries to, you know, we try to weave a story
- 26:06Speaker 1: that's had something to do with performance. A lot of
- 26:10Speaker 1: times it's that in Max's they're trying to reveal we
- 26:16Speaker 1: were talking about the herschel Walker certain teams. The Dallas
- 26:20Speaker 1: Cowboys traded one of the baddest men in the league,
- 26:24Speaker 1: Michael Parson. But what had nothing to do with playing.
- 26:28Speaker 1: It had to do how many holes on defense? Do
- 26:30Speaker 1: I have four or five holes? To keep you? I
- 26:34Speaker 1: gotta pay you. I can't feel any of those holes
- 26:37Speaker 1: to keep you. To keep you, I gotta pay you
- 26:40Speaker 1: four holes worth of salary, right, And I gotta imagine, Well,
- 26:44Speaker 1: you've been playing like that, you've been filling four holes,
- 26:48Speaker 1: and we still aren't got We still haven't gotten anywhere.
- 26:51Speaker 1: So maybe you actually do the job before men. But
- 26:54Speaker 1: we haven't gotten anywhere with that trying it that way,
- 26:59Speaker 1: So we need some pieces. So I'm kind of answering
- 27:02Speaker 1: your question from the standpoint that is not always now
- 27:05Speaker 1: you can take it. Uh, if you're in it and
- 27:07Speaker 1: you forget it's a business, right, there is a there's
- 27:11Speaker 1: a business aspect. That's why you see some guys they'll
- 27:14Speaker 1: come back, they'll rework their deals. Sometimes it's sometimes a
- 27:18Speaker 1: lot of reworking is just moving some money forward, or
- 27:23Speaker 1: it is asking you to take a pay cut to
- 27:25Speaker 1: keep you. Sometimes guys will take they start doing the
- 27:29Speaker 1: math of well, if I left here and I did this,
- 27:32Speaker 1: and I did that, you know, I'll just take the
- 27:34Speaker 1: million off this year and try to make it up
- 27:36Speaker 1: next year.
- 27:37Speaker 10: Uh.
- 27:38Speaker 1: And Max Crosby. I think it was just the Raiders
- 27:40Speaker 1: using their most valuable piece and trying to create more bodies,
- 27:48Speaker 1: and they were gonna get what a first round and
- 27:50Speaker 1: a second round pick this year from the Ravens, right
- 27:52Speaker 1: or something that would have been it would have been
- 27:53Speaker 1: too first to first round, first round. I can fix
- 27:56Speaker 1: some things and a corner.
- 28:03Speaker 5: Yeah, well, I know Rader fans probably happy because it's
- 28:06Speaker 5: too and theirs, right, or just two ands like I
- 28:10Speaker 5: think one would have been this year and then this year.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I had to. I had mine this year, theirs
- 28:16Speaker 1: this year and mining theirs next year, and and we
- 28:20Speaker 1: can feel some things in right.
- 28:21Speaker 6: And the breaking news is that now he has committed
- 28:24Speaker 6: to the Raiders, So could it also be a player
- 28:27Speaker 6: going look, man, if y'all got to get rid of me,
- 28:29Speaker 6: I understand, and then and then and then and then
- 28:32Speaker 6: they're gonna look, it didn't work out and go, okay,
- 28:34Speaker 6: well let's let let's talk Turkey.
- 28:37Speaker 5: That's kind of like been what his attitude has been
- 28:40Speaker 5: through all of this, that he after the trade news
- 28:44Speaker 5: came out, he said, well, I would want to retire
- 28:46Speaker 5: as a Raider, so now he would want to come
- 28:49Speaker 5: back in some capacity some day.
- 28:51Speaker 6: And now, is there an opportunity for me to get
- 28:53Speaker 6: an increase when I come back where you tried to
- 28:55Speaker 6: trade me and they didn't It didn't go through, So
- 28:59Speaker 6: I'll come back, but you how to give me an
- 29:00Speaker 6: extra million?
- 29:02Speaker 1: Is that a possibility? No, because you're still under the
- 29:06Speaker 1: contract now and the thing too as I and I'll
- 29:09Speaker 1: let you make you come in here, Baptists. The one
- 29:11Speaker 1: thing I've always told you on the show, when the
- 29:14Speaker 1: regimes change is when things most of the time happen
- 29:20Speaker 1: when you when you start changing the head coach and
- 29:22Speaker 1: the GM, those aren't the people that brought you here.
- 29:27Speaker 1: They start trying to build their own fire. It has
- 29:30Speaker 1: nothing to do personally, and a lot of people take
- 29:33Speaker 1: it that way. But when the regime changes, they go
- 29:38Speaker 1: in and start trying to figure out, how can I
- 29:40Speaker 1: build up my arsenal Right, And those aren't the people
- 29:45Speaker 1: who drafted Mike Max Crosby. Tom Brady, I know, and
- 29:49Speaker 1: I say his name, but I'm just saying, but the
- 29:51Speaker 1: under the tom Brady administration, in a sense, they got
- 29:55Speaker 1: rid of Pete Carroll. They're about to move to a
- 29:57Speaker 1: whole new sequence of how to put a team now
- 30:01Speaker 1: it's just Raider fans were very happy that he failed
- 30:06Speaker 1: the actual test.
- 30:07Speaker 5: They were happy that he's coming back because, like you said,
- 30:10Speaker 5: he's a Raider and then he made it.
- 30:11Speaker 1: He was like, hey, let's run it back, and he's
- 30:13Speaker 1: happy about it.
- 30:14Speaker 5: And and I was just seeing where a lot of
- 30:17Speaker 5: people was happy that he failed, and then there were
- 30:19Speaker 5: some people's happy that Geno passed his because Raider fans
- 30:23Speaker 5: felt like, hey, we didn't. We don't want that situation back.
- 30:25Speaker 5: But my thing is, did they not know that with
- 30:29Speaker 5: him having this test in January? I mean, I mean,
- 30:32Speaker 5: you've had that surgery once and then there's I know
- 30:36Speaker 5: some people had two or three times. Did they not
- 30:38Speaker 5: know that he hadn't had great rehabilitation time or that
- 30:42Speaker 5: time for rehabilitation to get the strength up. Did they
- 30:45Speaker 5: not realize or the doctors even before he went there,
- 30:48Speaker 5: that wasn't he wasn't going to be able.
- 30:49Speaker 1: To pass that test. But it's to what degree for them, Okay,
- 30:55Speaker 1: their doctor, their doctors, and what degree days feel like he's.
- 30:59Speaker 5: Good, you know, but what I'm saying, but he's still
- 31:02Speaker 5: good enough to go for the Raiders. The Raiders are
- 31:03Speaker 5: still allowing him as you say he's back in the facility,
- 31:06Speaker 5: he's back working out after Tuesday night. He's been yesterday
- 31:10Speaker 5: he was working out with the team, he's working out
- 31:12Speaker 5: with the doctors, getting back healthy again, and he's ready
- 31:14Speaker 5: to go.
- 31:15Speaker 17: So that's why, that's why I asked. There is that
- 31:19Speaker 17: notion that what the Ravens did is unethical. That's what
- 31:25Speaker 17: they they make the they make the trade. It's not
- 31:29Speaker 17: if it wasn't going to be official until yesterday, but
- 31:32Speaker 17: they make the trade, and then they realize, uh, well,
- 31:37Speaker 17: you know, we could just sign trade Hendrickson and then
- 31:40Speaker 17: keep our picks and and all we have to do
- 31:44Speaker 17: is we're just spending money. We're not giving up draft picks.
- 31:47Speaker 17: So they they could have they could have passed him
- 31:52Speaker 17: on his physical and then he would just rehab and
- 31:55Speaker 17: perhaps be ready for ye season. And that's why then
- 31:58Speaker 17: they go this other direction and now looks suspicious and
- 32:01Speaker 17: the rest of the league is upset about it and
- 32:05Speaker 17: how the Ravens.
- 32:05Speaker 5: Handled And my thing is too, it shouldn't be a
- 32:08Speaker 5: right down the line that everybody, you got to hit
- 32:11Speaker 5: here a twenty, you gotta hit a thirty, you gott
- 32:13Speaker 5: hit the fours.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Here, here's what should happen. We shouldn't be privy to
- 32:20Speaker 1: any information until it's done. The problem with the problem
- 32:25Speaker 1: with that's becoming in our media and our country. I
- 32:28Speaker 1: talked about this all the way back when Cam had
- 32:31Speaker 1: that accident and he was saying he was sitting about
- 32:37Speaker 1: this young man before he the embulence, is there, yeah,
- 32:47Speaker 1: really money getting this year and everything. Then I analyzed
- 32:56Speaker 1: it already in that because.
- 32:58Speaker 5: We are so and we were happing before the show.
- 33:01Speaker 5: But we've had stories of the last couple of years
- 33:03Speaker 5: with this whole thing, a frenzy of people being have
- 33:06Speaker 5: passed away, and sometimes that person makes a full recovery.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Or it might be two more weeks later by the time.
- 33:13Speaker 1: But we want it right now, like as soon as
- 33:17Speaker 1: you people can't even hint divorce and then reconcile. We
- 33:23Speaker 1: just had you didn't even give them. They might get
- 33:26Speaker 1: back together in a month. We go right for the throat. Right,
- 33:31Speaker 1: we've got superior bull on Why I say that, bad producer,
- 33:35Speaker 1: because none of this would have happened if it just
- 33:37Speaker 1: would have been once all the dust settled, they said,
- 33:43Speaker 1: whatever the outcome was, because we jumped on it beforehand.
- 33:47Speaker 1: But then once the process continues and figures out. Then
- 33:53Speaker 1: you know what in that four to eight hours, you
- 33:56Speaker 1: know what I don't. I'd rather go with, Well, it's
- 33:58Speaker 1: the problem with healthy. Just like you go to the
- 34:00Speaker 1: grocery store, right you they use the tomatoes, all the tomatoes.
- 34:04Speaker 1: You just took the good ones. The bad ones went
- 34:07Speaker 1: on the sandwich, and well you they take the good oranges,
- 34:11Speaker 1: put them in the store. They take them same off
- 34:13Speaker 1: the same tree. They take the bad ones and make
- 34:14Speaker 1: the juice.
- 34:17Speaker 5: That's how they take them soft tomatoes and make the sauce.
- 34:21Speaker 5: It's but did you keep what I'm saying though? It's
- 34:25Speaker 5: not good though to be able to allow a team
- 34:28Speaker 5: to do this, That's why I couldn't understand. And then,
- 34:31Speaker 5: like as Greg was saying, you look at all I
- 34:33Speaker 5: can spend money and get away with this, but I gotta.
- 34:36Speaker 5: But we gotta blame the PR department because when your
- 34:39Speaker 5: department from the NFL.
- 34:40Speaker 1: That's got it, because I know how I know you
- 34:42Speaker 1: didn't do it as an agent. Most most information about
- 34:45Speaker 1: a contract and all that is put out about an agent.
- 34:47Speaker 1: He wants Kenny to see that he got a big deal. Well,
- 34:51Speaker 1: let me, team will tell you that you think the
- 34:53Speaker 1: team told you how much?
- 34:56Speaker 5: So are they the one that's announce that who's gonna
- 34:57Speaker 5: get cut or who may be released? Because we like
- 34:59Speaker 5: last this week, we knew that's the media asking questions
- 35:03Speaker 5: Kirk Cousin was gonna get released, but it wasn't official
- 35:06Speaker 5: till March the eleventh. But they told us last week.
- 35:09Speaker 5: So who said fought at that information? Will that that's
- 35:14Speaker 5: what I said.
- 35:14Speaker 1: It's kind of be coming from the sources, and the
- 35:16Speaker 1: sources show the hound. I know you want to out
- 35:19Speaker 1: talk me. Do you want me to answer your question?
- 35:21Speaker 1: I just want to know what I'm the president of
- 35:23Speaker 1: the team. Hold on, hold them using real quick so
- 35:24Speaker 1: this dude can get his answer. I'm the president of
- 35:26Speaker 1: the team. I'm dealing with command you greg about Big Kenny.
- 35:31Speaker 1: Everything we do. He doesn't work for me, and he
- 35:34Speaker 1: contractingly can go out here and tell them anything in
- 35:37Speaker 1: the world that we talked about. Well that should be.
- 35:41Speaker 1: So he wants everything about his client to be known.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Everything is not because you read it. It's not put
- 35:50Speaker 1: out by the team, but the team just puts it
- 35:53Speaker 1: out because he's about to do it. He is about
- 35:56Speaker 1: to go tell them the contract.
- 35:59Speaker 6: Yeah him, So when I go to this next dude
- 36:03Speaker 6: that's already in college, say, man, you ought to let
- 36:05Speaker 6: me represent you.
- 36:06Speaker 1: My name Big Kenny. You the dude to get that
- 36:08Speaker 1: contract from me being a little back. More Sports Shock

- 38:09Speaker 1: Shock Wing Candy. Good morning to you out there listening,
- 38:12Speaker 1: Lamb Big Kenny, Commanchi Greg, the bab producer in the building.
- 38:15Speaker 1: We were talking about contracts. All I'm trying to get,
- 38:18Speaker 1: bad Producer is that the representation of the player and
- 38:23Speaker 1: the owner of the team have nothing to do with
- 38:26Speaker 1: each other. He owes them nothing. It doesn't fall on
- 38:31Speaker 1: the note what he does with his client. Big Kenny
- 38:35Speaker 1: doesn't want Commanchi Greg to tell anybody what he made.
- 38:42Speaker 1: Commandchi Gregg comes to me as a team and tells
- 38:48Speaker 1: me that. So that's when you look up and all
- 38:51Speaker 1: they told you were we signed a four year deal.
- 38:55Speaker 1: You ever see that it only happens every blue moon? Well,
- 38:59Speaker 1: you didn't teams do that? They just said four years deal.
- 39:01Speaker 1: They will tell you how much money. The team doesn't
- 39:04Speaker 1: care because what does what they've paid for you to
- 39:08Speaker 1: come work does what for them? They spend the money,
- 39:18Speaker 1: So it's up to the agent and the player. That's
- 39:22Speaker 1: their information. The team has no power to swash.
- 39:28Speaker 7: It.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Was just like the NFL having to go get an
- 39:30Speaker 1: injunction against the NFLPA about the locker room. All they
- 39:34Speaker 1: can do is go to the court system. They got it.
- 39:36Speaker 1: The court has to stop the nfl PA because they
- 39:39Speaker 1: don't have any law to stop the nfl PA from
- 39:43Speaker 1: asking players these questions that they have no power. This
- 39:52Speaker 1: is not college or high school. We are independent contractors, right,
- 40:00Speaker 1: you play sports, you're an independent contractor. That fifty three
- 40:03Speaker 1: of us just come together each year's independent contractors to

- 40:14Speaker 1: the Players Association. That's what it has. We have governing
- 40:20Speaker 1: body and the teams have to follow the guidelines that
- 40:24Speaker 1: we vote. So you can only have us out here
- 40:29Speaker 1: hour and thirty minutes. Excuse me, you only have this
- 40:36Speaker 1: and that and that is put in the Players Association
- 40:43Speaker 1: and you can be fined at an hour and thirty
- 40:46Speaker 1: one minutes. You can be fined. I literally can go
- 40:50Speaker 1: and say you kelp us over time. It is not
- 40:55Speaker 1: that coach has all the power. Just Bill. He can
- 41:01Speaker 1: let me go, but I'll just take my work somewhere else.
- 41:04Speaker 1: But we have a governing body, so bad producer. As
- 41:07Speaker 1: you're trying to I don't know who let the information out.
- 41:10Speaker 1: You have just decided all this must be coming from
- 41:12Speaker 1: the team, and that's not true. Most agents, this emboldens
- 41:17Speaker 1: their company when they come to get you. Hey, man,
- 41:22Speaker 1: you know I got big Kenny. I got Big Kenny
- 41:24Speaker 1: at four for one sixty one sixty for four years.
- 41:31Speaker 1: The guy that works with lebron Rich Paul. He's quick
- 41:35Speaker 1: to make sure y'all know, Hey, I want to Paul,
- 41:40Speaker 1: I don't put together about five billion dollars worth of contracts.
- 41:43Speaker 1: He wants that sales. I've only been in the business
- 41:47Speaker 1: probably twenty years. When you watch the commercials on TV,
- 41:51Speaker 1: the lawyer tells you he might not tell you that
- 41:53Speaker 1: each and every client, but he's.
- 41:55Speaker 6: Gotten over three hundred billion dollars last year loan from
- 42:01Speaker 6: my clients.
- 42:02Speaker 1: If you're injured, called me? Is that not the commercial? One?
- 42:10Speaker 1: Call that's all? That's all. Call me you get the highest.
- 42:14Speaker 1: Now he doesn't tell you a name, No, he just
- 42:17Speaker 1: tells you how much and for maybe what you know
- 42:21Speaker 1: for car accidents or for mental health.
- 42:24Speaker 6: And some of those, just like agents, based on their sensibilities,
- 42:28Speaker 6: will put what they have labeled as an actual client
- 42:32Speaker 6: in front of that camera. Who would go twin, I
- 42:35Speaker 6: got hit and they got me seven and they put
- 42:39Speaker 6: real customers clients.
- 42:43Speaker 5: Yeah, I got a friend's hold a commercial for a
- 42:46Speaker 5: lawyer right now.
- 42:48Speaker 1: So NFL free agency to attack with Leo You Falcon fans?
- 42:53Speaker 1: Who else were? Because every Falcon fan called me? What's
- 42:58Speaker 1: bad about picking up tour on a one year deal
- 43:02Speaker 1: for vet minimum? What what part of that? Backup quarterbacks
- 43:08Speaker 1: in the NFL You might not know this because their
- 43:10Speaker 1: agents maybe didn't put it out there, but they're on.
- 43:13Speaker 1: They average about two point seven million, and they they
- 43:19Speaker 1: their plan is not to go into any game. Their
- 43:23Speaker 1: whole plan. Lamar Jackson quarterback hole playing is Lamar jack
- 43:27Speaker 1: helped him warm up. I'm good over here, bro. They're
- 43:32Speaker 1: just gonna for like the next decade, right, I'm gonna
- 43:35Speaker 1: make about thirty million dollars and dressing up. I'm just
- 43:40Speaker 1: gonna be dressing out. I don't don't get hurt. Why
- 43:42Speaker 1: would I want you to get hurt. Go get that
- 43:46Speaker 1: money for us, bro, get us to the playoffs. Get
- 43:48Speaker 1: me that super Bowl check. I get the check too,
- 43:51Speaker 1: the same check you get from winning the super Bowl.
- 43:53Speaker 1: I get and I didn't play. It's the best I
- 43:56Speaker 1: got in the world. I got the ring, I got
- 43:59Speaker 1: the sweet and vage, I got the jersey legit. When
- 44:03Speaker 1: you see me, you go twin and.
- 44:05Speaker 5: All the girls go, you play, and I'm like, I'm
- 44:08Speaker 5: the quarterback. I just why do we keep getting retraded though?
- 44:13Speaker 5: I mean like we went out with Todd. We had
- 44:16Speaker 5: a chance to get Todd Gurley when he was a one.
- 44:19Speaker 5: Then we go get him after the surgeries. Now we
- 44:22Speaker 5: got we got a man that's down. There was a
- 44:26Speaker 5: draft pick, and now we go get a guy that
- 44:29Speaker 5: and any second could get hit and bigu. We got
- 44:33Speaker 5: blue Tint. We got blue tint quarterbacks. Well, hold on,
- 44:37Speaker 5: bick Kenny, who would you have liked him to get?
- 44:41Speaker 5: We had a better chance if we got Kyler Murray
- 44:44Speaker 5: doesn't want to be a backup. He would have pushed
- 44:46Speaker 5: Phoenix even harder. Kyler Murray does not want to be
- 44:49Speaker 5: back up and he wants a starter money and then
- 44:53Speaker 5: hold on, bick Kenny, We're gonna get to your question
- 44:56Speaker 5: or your statement.
- 44:58Speaker 1: I need to know who you gonna get because Kyler
- 45:00Speaker 1: Murray still wants like twenty million dollars a year and
- 45:05Speaker 1: our plan actually is not to start Our plan is
- 45:08Speaker 1: still to get Michael Pennox back. Yeah, so why would
- 45:11Speaker 1: I go and sign Kyler Murray? Who else?
- 45:13Speaker 18: Now?
- 45:14Speaker 1: Since I can't get Coler because he wants to starter money? Well,
- 45:16Speaker 1: I mean, right, who else do I get?
- 45:18Speaker 17: He can't have no choice but to get Let me
- 45:21Speaker 17: find the black quarterback, a blue tint quarterback, blue.
- 45:24Speaker 1: Tint, forget the tent, whatever you want. I don't know
- 45:26Speaker 1: what that means. What I mean, what I do know
- 45:29Speaker 1: is who else was there for me to get? If
- 45:35Speaker 1: I ain't got thirty million dollars a year for Kyler Murray,
- 45:38Speaker 1: well we should have win for a million for one year?
- 45:40Speaker 1: You know, won't start of money. Well, as I say,
- 45:44Speaker 1: I don't have started money, And what part of if
- 45:48Speaker 1: I if I speaking sports, you don't have thirty million
- 45:51Speaker 1: dollars the day? Happy with it? We are sports.
- 45:55Speaker 5: I'm happy with it because that's gonna give us a
- 45:57Speaker 5: chance to go ahead and give Bejon his money he
- 46:00Speaker 5: needs next year.
- 46:01Speaker 1: He's gonna be able to give us give if I
- 46:03Speaker 1: get Kyler Murray now.
- 46:04Speaker 5: But now though, since we've made we'll be able to
- 46:07Speaker 5: do give that money away to those guys and locked
- 46:10Speaker 5: them in.
- 46:10Speaker 1: Well, why you didn't think about this four days ago
- 46:12Speaker 1: when Greg sent us the Texan you went right to
- 46:14Speaker 1: the ugly face I did. Don't make sense, man, You
- 46:22Speaker 1: just said it makes sense to case I can pay Bjeon.
- 46:26Speaker 6: Made sense four days because you want to keep Jon
- 46:30Speaker 6: already here, so you want to keep right. I'm keeping,
- 46:34Speaker 6: But I'm saying, who else is Kyler Murray? You can
- 46:36Speaker 6: get starter money or you can pick door number two
- 46:40Speaker 6: in Atlanta for a one year minimum.
- 46:43Speaker 5: Got the donkey and what you think he's gonna pick?
- 46:47Speaker 5: He can seets Show.
- 47:00Speaker 1: Don't Go Away, or of.

- 47:54Speaker 1: Show and now back to the sports job Wayne.
- 48:00Speaker 19: Gandy center court on sports News Gossip blah blah blah blah.
- 48:28Speaker 1: Welcome back to this wor Shock Show. I'm this war
- 48:29Speaker 1: Shock Wayne Candy, Good morning to you. He did an
- 48:33Speaker 1: active show moving pretty fast here. Uh And Greg mc
- 48:38Speaker 1: kenny babadus all I'm trying to do with people because
- 48:41Speaker 1: people love to hit me with different things. It's bigger
- 48:45Speaker 1: than the one person. You're not in the boardroom. You
- 48:53Speaker 1: don't know the finances of the team right. I don't
- 48:56Speaker 1: know why the fan has become so enamored with themselves
- 49:06Speaker 1: that they think they can without any real information, just
- 49:14Speaker 1: from the tid bits they see online. They can make choices.
- 49:18Speaker 1: When I ask anybody about this tour thing here in Atlanta,
- 49:23Speaker 1: and I asked them, well, who else were you gonna get?
- 49:28Speaker 1: Malie Willis was already gone. He wanted start of money.
- 49:32Speaker 1: Starter You know what. The Dolphins gave him start of money,
- 49:35Speaker 1: start of money. They gave it to him. Kyler Murray
- 49:41Speaker 1: won't start of money, starter money. Gino won't start the
- 49:44Speaker 1: money you first got money. The Falcons are still in
- 49:48Speaker 1: flux on what to do with Michael Pennox because he
- 49:51Speaker 1: getting start of money but he ain't playing.
- 49:54Speaker 6: They're not trying to put something in position that will
- 49:57Speaker 6: hold that up. Yeah, we can't, we can't. We can't
- 50:02Speaker 6: keep throwing uh good money after bad money.
- 50:05Speaker 5: Too.
- 50:06Speaker 1: Is left handed. Michael Pennix is left handed. I want
- 50:12Speaker 1: the people on the field to get used to dealing
- 50:14Speaker 1: with a left handed quarterback. I don't want to go
- 50:15Speaker 1: back in styles. I want to put in the same style.
- 50:20Speaker 1: You guess you know who has the same kind of style.
- 50:23Speaker 1: Michael Pennick and too attacker over. I give you that one.
- 50:26Speaker 1: I take that. No, don't give me anything. I take
- 50:29Speaker 1: everything I get.
- 50:31Speaker 10: I use.
- 50:32Speaker 1: I understand the game in the strategy, so I implement
- 50:36Speaker 1: a system with a guy right that a lot of
- 50:41Speaker 1: critics feel like might actually be better indoors. Might be
- 50:48Speaker 1: there's a reason Kylermary wants to go to someone like Minnesota.
- 50:51Speaker 1: You see, he ain't He ain't fighting you to go outside, right,
- 50:55Speaker 1: That's all he's been in indoors. So my thing is
- 51:02Speaker 1: always with people. Why is it that you so hot
- 51:04Speaker 1: button that you don't look at the big picture. I
- 51:10Speaker 1: got other holes to feel I'm not even trying to
- 51:14Speaker 1: arrive next year. I'm sorry, I'm sorry I didn't tell
- 51:17Speaker 1: y'all that at the press conference. I think whatever we
- 51:20Speaker 1: want to do as an organization probably would come the
- 51:22Speaker 1: year after. So I got to get some things in
- 51:25Speaker 1: new administration? Is that not what the Falcons are under?
- 51:29Speaker 1: Very new? What tell me you can see it? Why
- 51:34Speaker 1: need you tell They didn't call me and told tell
- 51:36Speaker 1: me nothing.
- 51:36Speaker 17: They had a new head coach, they got a GM
- 51:39Speaker 17: Matt Ryan is making all the decisions.
- 51:42Speaker 6: And this is what I I'm glad you circle the
- 51:50Speaker 6: block back to that, because when you were talking about
- 51:53Speaker 6: agents putting out information, when you were talking about who
- 51:57Speaker 6: controls narratives and why would they and why don't this
- 52:02Speaker 6: is why all of that information gets released, because you,
- 52:06Speaker 6: as the fan.
- 52:07Speaker 1: Want to hear.
- 52:09Speaker 6: Ever, rethink, most people who find themselves disenfranchised from politics
- 52:16Speaker 6: do so because they don't know why.
- 52:18Speaker 1: How come you can't pick up the garbage.
- 52:20Speaker 6: In the neighborhood and my neighborhood yet looked like you can't,
- 52:24Speaker 6: But then you look at the budget. We got eighty
- 52:26Speaker 6: three thousand dollars for garbage man, and y'all got two
- 52:30Speaker 6: hundred thousand dollars worth of garbage out there. We gonna
- 52:33Speaker 6: have to compromise and do some numbers crunch it. And
- 52:36Speaker 6: that's what the NFL is was a was a great
- 52:41Speaker 6: pick up. Even of all he turns up to be,
- 52:44Speaker 6: is the best to back up.
- 52:45Speaker 1: That's it. That's why I went off. Even as a backup.
- 52:48Speaker 1: He's league minimum one point three million dollars. You get
- 52:54Speaker 1: a twenty nine thirty year old guy who's been to
- 52:58Speaker 1: two Pro Bowls, has had some great moments. The biggest
- 53:01Speaker 1: knock is can he take a hit and you able
- 53:07Speaker 1: to get him for one point.
- 53:08Speaker 5: Three when when the season start we have to look
- 53:13Speaker 5: up with the back of he probably the lowest paid
- 53:15Speaker 5: quarterback in the league next year based on the what
- 53:18Speaker 5: the sop Falcons because the Dolphins are money.
- 53:20Speaker 1: The kicker make it more than two? Well can I'm
- 53:24Speaker 1: let me so? What makes him a bad pick up? Nothing?
- 53:27Speaker 1: Nothing makes him a bad pickup? But what I mean
- 53:31Speaker 1: pick a I'm gonna information coming out or you want
- 53:37Speaker 1: all of the information you wanted.
- 53:40Speaker 5: But I appreciate what the sports jock said, and for
- 53:44Speaker 5: the person saying that I'm not a fan that sometimes
- 53:46Speaker 5: you got to get information from people who may know and.
- 53:49Speaker 1: This, or you could just sit back and enjoy and
- 53:51Speaker 1: let the Falcons try to win a game and try
- 53:54Speaker 1: to win a game.
- 53:54Speaker 5: But I appreciate the face what you need to know
- 53:56Speaker 5: all this for? No, not that I need to know it,
- 53:58Speaker 5: but it makes sense he just't may tell us that. No,
- 54:02Speaker 5: but to make sense, you know what I'm saying, said
- 54:04Speaker 5: why I am when when Georgia lost the Alabama Tour
- 54:09Speaker 5: came in, like I said, a left handed It makes
- 54:11Speaker 5: sense when you just said what you said about the
- 54:13Speaker 5: two left handers.
- 54:14Speaker 1: Hey, I'm gonna ride with it. For this I'm going
- 54:17Speaker 1: I'm gonna ride with it.
- 54:18Speaker 5: I'm gonna ride with it because the red free agent
- 54:21Speaker 5: money and everything else looked at it differently. Now with
- 54:25Speaker 5: tour just totally different. Just got taught things. That's all
- 54:29Speaker 5: about communication, No, I know not when I'm the owner
- 54:33Speaker 5: of the team, I don't have to communicate anything. Either
- 54:36Speaker 5: buy a ticket, tune in, or don't because it really
- 54:39Speaker 5: at the end of the day, your opinions won't shift
- 54:44Speaker 5: the needle at the organization.
- 55:08Speaker 1: Don't go away. More of the sports with Wayne Dantidius
- 55:12Speaker 1: comming up mats. Remember always be generous with the net.
- 55:23Speaker 1: May just diyebally.
- 55:25Speaker 4: Okay, Mom's wisdom has served you well, but now it
- 55:29Speaker 4: may be your turn to guide her.
- 55:31Speaker 12: Hey, I'm worried about Mom. She keeps forgetting her famous
- 55:34Speaker 12: sweet potato pie recipe.
- 55:36Speaker 1: Some things come with age and some don't.
- 55:39Speaker 4: Knowing the early signs of Alzheimer's and a left one
- 55:41Speaker 4: will help you make the best decisions for your family.
- 55:44Speaker 4: Visit tensigns dot org to learn the signs brought to
- 55:47Speaker 4: you by the Alzheimer's Association and the AD Council.
- 55:50Speaker 1: I actually dropped better when I'm high.
- 55:52Speaker 15: If anything, I'm more careful.
- 55:54Speaker 20: That's probably what the driver who killed a four year
- 55:56Speaker 20: old told himself and now he's in prison. Feel different,
- 56:00Speaker 20: you drive different, don't drive high. Brought to you by
- 56:03Speaker 20: NITZA and the AD Council.
- 56:10Speaker 1: Enough is enough, I don't have it. Why so serious
- 56:15Speaker 1: suck and we hold the world ransom for excuse me
- 56:19Speaker 1: while I whip this out. Broadcasting live and Atlanta, Georgia
- 56:25Speaker 1: to this.
- 56:26Speaker 15: This is the Sports Shruck Ship with Wayne Gandy.
- 56:30Speaker 9: You may began.
- 56:35Speaker 3: Fight me down.
- 56:36Speaker 1: A council five consig comes to mine.
- 56:40Speaker 5: Is it just go?
- 56:45Speaker 18: I'm a doing?
- 56:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm gonna go on the way you made. Bill Vegan,
- 56:50Speaker 1: Welcome back to this wort Shock show. I'm the Sports
- 56:52Speaker 1: Shock Wayne Candy. Good morning to you out there in
- 56:55Speaker 1: listening land. The bad producer is a special individual in
- 57:00Speaker 1: his own right. But she's back. Caitlyn Clark, Team USA,
- 57:06Speaker 1: the Magic Johnson of the w n B A last
- 57:10Speaker 1: night putting on a performance team in USA against Senegal
- 57:15Speaker 1: in a game that she dominated as she always does,
- 57:19Speaker 1: seems like and the thing like Magic Johnson, that's inspiring
- 57:25Speaker 1: and everybody doesn't expire. I think Lebron James, Jason Kidd,
- 57:34Speaker 1: John Packs Not John Paxson, John Stockton. You put them
- 57:39Speaker 1: on the court with guys you know, Mark, what's mark name?
- 57:43Speaker 1: Jackson Jackson and guys know if I can just get
- 57:48Speaker 1: open now, bron hard, play hard, find those spaces. These
- 57:54Speaker 1: kind of people you want to play with. Right, everybody
- 57:56Speaker 1: is available. This ain't one of those Ane's hardened situation
- 58:02Speaker 1: saying one of those AI situations. Well, I'm gonna pass
- 58:06Speaker 1: you the ball when I get in trouble. These are
- 58:08Speaker 1: the guys that as soon as you get open, they're
- 58:11Speaker 1: really looking to give you the ball, and you need
- 58:14Speaker 1: the look or the ball's gonna hit you in the head.
- 58:16Speaker 1: It's gonna hit you in the head. You gotta be
- 58:17Speaker 1: on full alert out here, Big Kenny. Can't be looking
- 58:20Speaker 1: down at your shoes or any of that. You got
- 58:22Speaker 1: to back down and expecting that I might have to
- 58:25Speaker 1: shoot the ball. So Ben Simmons wouldn't have worked out
- 58:29Speaker 1: with those kind of people because he don't want to
- 58:32Speaker 1: shoot the ball.
- 58:33Speaker 6: He's gonna cast it back to him and he's still
- 58:37Speaker 6: doing it.
- 58:38Speaker 1: And he's still doing that, he's still not shooting fishing.
- 58:43Speaker 1: U is back and the w N b A. They
- 58:46Speaker 1: need Caitlyn Clark back. She is the component. It's like uh,
- 58:52Speaker 1: Michael Jordan, Shaq Kobe, you you need that face. You
- 58:58Speaker 1: need people. I mean, even though it's some time looks unfair,
- 59:01Speaker 1: but when you can find an entity, even as a
- 59:06Speaker 1: visiting team, that owner you want to make more money.
- 59:12Speaker 1: This young lady's making you change venues. Can you imagine that, man, man,
- 59:19Speaker 1: that you're going to get three times as many people
- 59:22Speaker 1: to see this person.
- 59:23Speaker 6: We can't even host the game where we usually play
- 59:26Speaker 6: and ain't nobody coming to see you? Otis we know
- 59:30Speaker 6: they coming to see Caitlin. Ain't nobody can come?
- 59:32Speaker 1: And the sell out coming in and as an organization,
- 59:35Speaker 1: as a league, how is that a bad thing?
- 59:39Speaker 6: It's not, it can be, it's not well. From a
- 59:43Speaker 6: business perspective, I don't know it. And for me, a
- 59:46Speaker 6: lot of times when people start talking about sports and
- 59:49Speaker 6: who deserves what and what should and shouldn't be done,
- 59:53Speaker 6: I always am rooted in the fact that this is business,
- 59:56Speaker 6: and it's for profit business. It's not a charity, it's
- 1:00:00Speaker 6: not a good will community service. It's a for profit business.
- 1:00:07Speaker 6: And from that standpoint that makes perfect sense. Why wouldn't
- 1:00:12Speaker 6: you do that?
- 1:00:13Speaker 5: Well, you know they're in there last two days, they're
- 1:00:15Speaker 5: in the CBA talk for the w NBA. So they're
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: trying to work to get some type of salary or
- 1:00:23Speaker 5: something established here for the young ladies a little bit
- 1:00:26Speaker 5: better pay.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: Yeah, they've been trying to push it up to where
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: they get a bigger, bigger profit share. And it seemed
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: just from outside looking in. That's because that's the only
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: view I have. I think sometimes the owners these cities,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: these organizations are saying, we footed the bill so long
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: that we're not going to give you that you want to.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: You want us to rip up the first twenty five
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: thirty years as though I didn't take that. Ll let
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: me recool and start you off. I'm saying, let me recoop.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: No no, no, no, no no. And that's how I'm saying,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: not in front of no.
- 1:01:03Speaker 8: No.
- 1:01:03Speaker 6: We had a year last year, Remember the ratings was
- 1:01:05Speaker 6: sky hot, I'm saying, and that was the first time
- 1:01:08Speaker 6: said you made a profit last and that was the
- 1:01:10Speaker 6: first no no, that was the first time you didn't
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: have to take delivery on consign you actually had the
- 1:01:16Speaker 6: money when we showed up.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: You still was a little short. Though you had about
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: three G short, which had all your money. I think
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: I deserved ten percent more.
- 1:01:25Speaker 6: Oh come on, man, this is the first time you
- 1:01:28Speaker 6: ever had money on you, Like, hey, here you go.
- 1:01:32Speaker 6: And you wasn't like, bro, I'm gonna get it back
- 1:01:34Speaker 6: to you. You actually was like, okay, here, I'm three
- 1:01:36Speaker 6: g short. And we was like, don't worry about the
- 1:01:38Speaker 6: three Jesus to us. We've never seen this before. We've
- 1:01:42Speaker 6: never seen.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: Though. I just got it's only year three from me.
- 1:01:48Speaker 5: But this year that was Lisa Leslie And I'm saying,
- 1:01:51Speaker 5: but this year twenty five for Cynthia Cooper.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: That had nothing to do with me and Commandie let
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: me eat. That's when y'all was hot and new. That's
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: when you were the new kids. That's what. But that
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: seems like what really is with the owners, Like I'm
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: in the hole, yeah, and you want me to just
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: act like I'm not in the hole and take care
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: of you.
- 1:02:12Speaker 17: You know, we got less teams than when Cynthia Cooper
- 1:02:15Speaker 17: was playing. Yeah, Well that's that means y'all was feeling
- 1:02:20Speaker 17: you were feeling then, and and just.
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: Because they expanded, just because they're changing venues in Indian app.
- 1:02:26Speaker 5: I mean, and they got a rumor so bad that
- 1:02:28Speaker 5: they wanted a team to come back to Charlotte like that, Oh,
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: don Staley may leave the game, cous to come coach
- 1:02:33Speaker 5: the team.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: She's not leaving the come coach the NBA and Charlotte.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: Mm hmm. Have you talked to her? Have you talked
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: to her? You're just going off your emotion. I'm just
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: talking my money wise. I mean, you don't think, well,
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: if they're if the if No, he makes statements like.
- 1:02:57Speaker 7: You.
- 1:02:58Speaker 5: But I'm just saying that that that's how bad when
- 1:03:00Speaker 5: Greg made the statement that the less team, they they
- 1:03:03Speaker 5: are still talking about expanding teams when they're having a
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: money problem, and that has been the talk for the
- 1:03:09Speaker 5: Charlotte area to bring a team in if possibly because
- 1:03:12Speaker 5: down played for the Charlotte team, well, I would imagine
- 1:03:17Speaker 5: would be a great possibility.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: In the news when they're talking play for the Philly team. No,
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: she played for the Charlotte teams from Philly. So who
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: like Steve to Temple and coach Steve Temple. But you
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: said Philly, you mentioned Philly. You don't want Temple to
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: take your red bull away because you don't one Today
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: they got him that peach tree, that peach we need
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: to take. I don't know what that means. I don't judge.
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: He been kicking it with pac mannon for next two times.
- 1:04:04Speaker 5: No mur no powder mur mur Can Murton. Steve Kerr
- 1:04:10Speaker 5: says that playing ten fewer games a season would improve
- 1:04:15Speaker 5: the league. If they took ten games off, go from
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: eighty two to seventy two. Uh.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: They already want the sixty five game qualifying situation to
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: be removed. Remember a couple of years ago for any
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: kind of like postseason awards, they said you had to
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: play sixty five of the eighty two games to be
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: able to be like the player of the year, which
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: I you know, I would have to talk to some
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: former NBA players. I didn't see how that was an issue.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: That that gives you seven basically seventeen games you don't
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: have to play for whatever reason, and you still could win.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: How do y'all did y'all find that to be a bad?
- 1:05:01Speaker 17: Well, no, unreasonable And historically over a full eighty two
- 1:05:06Speaker 17: game season, only like two MVPs did not play sixty
- 1:05:10Speaker 17: five games. I think Bob Coosey played sixty four and
- 1:05:15Speaker 17: it was a seventy five seventy eight game season and
- 1:05:20Speaker 17: Bill Walton played fifty games, but every other MVP has
- 1:05:25Speaker 17: played at least sixty five season than they had that
- 1:05:28Speaker 17: I said, a full eighty two games, fully two game
- 1:05:31Speaker 17: season that they played at least eighty percent of the game.
- 1:05:34Speaker 17: So that's not an issue. But the way I think
- 1:05:40Speaker 17: they're looking at the way the game is played, the
- 1:05:42Speaker 17: pace is higher. There are more injuries, which there are
- 1:05:45Speaker 17: other issues that can lead to those kinds of injuries.
- 1:05:48Speaker 5: Is the pace higher or is just sloppier sloppy? It's both,
- 1:05:54Speaker 5: it's both. It's at a higher pace where you see
- 1:05:58Speaker 5: more points, like one hundred and eight, Like so team
- 1:06:03Speaker 5: averages one hundred.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: Nobody that's on the low side. Everybody on the three
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: point line.
- 1:06:08Speaker 17: Every team should be able to score one twenty again
- 1:06:12Speaker 17: fifteen years ago, but didn't. But you hundred and eight
- 1:06:15Speaker 17: was the highest of the least.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: But fifteen years ago you changed the rules YEA to
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: allow more scoring, and and and and I think about it.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: The equation right, whenever you change.
- 1:06:27Speaker 17: Changes has has led to a faster pace. And now
- 1:06:31Speaker 17: teams are they wanted to shoot more threes.
- 1:06:35Speaker 6: I was going to say, remember when there was only
- 1:06:38Speaker 6: like one guy in the NBA who was known for
- 1:06:40Speaker 6: shooting threes. Now there are three or four guys per
- 1:06:43Speaker 6: team you had, and he did not start.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: Yeah, that he would only come in in the clutch.
- 1:06:51Speaker 6: We're gonna need a guy who can shoot threes, and
- 1:06:53Speaker 6: he was only one or two in the NBA. Now
- 1:06:56Speaker 6: there are three or four guys per team who just
- 1:06:59Speaker 6: fired up from they used to get closest.
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: To the line. That's possible, like the whole team.
- 1:07:05Speaker 17: If you're a seven foot center and all you do
- 1:07:08Speaker 17: is rebound and you don't shooting they threes, you're not
- 1:07:11Speaker 17: gonna play very much exactly.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: So maybe that has something to do with it. But shooting,
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: but shooting threes is less wear and tear on the body.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: Shooting threes is less wearing tears. But you're not even
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: running the whole court. You're running from three point line
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: and three point line. You're you're it.
- 1:07:30Speaker 17: People like it's not always like catch and shoot. It's
- 1:07:33Speaker 17: like the guard is trying to like create space, so
- 1:07:36Speaker 17: he's but but that can lead to more injury the
- 1:07:41Speaker 17: way they're to these You know what.
- 1:07:43Speaker 5: I can say, There is a young man that played
- 1:07:47Speaker 5: in the NBA one and that one of the NBA
- 1:07:49Speaker 5: championship said, when they start allowing people to go freely
- 1:07:52Speaker 5: with you being a big man, understand run the base
- 1:07:54Speaker 5: line in basketball, that took away everything because I know.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: They have more for TV timeouts. Now the game stops
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: more for founs. Okay, so shoot more three. So when
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: I watch a game, you're thinking we could shave some
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: of this off. But when the owner start talking, the
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: NBA starts talking. Isn't it that you had a head coach?
- 1:08:16Speaker 6: Right, I'm saying, But as an organization, we have to
- 1:08:20Speaker 6: pay this guy one hundred and eighty three million dollars.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: Where we're gonna get that money from if we cut
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: games out of the season. Well, no, the salaries will
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: go down, I'm saying. And who gonna take less money?
- 1:08:32Speaker 5: Who gonna take lessn you already paying me one sixty
- 1:08:35Speaker 5: You mean you're gonna start paying me one thirty.
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: Now I'm supposed to be cool with that. Well, this
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: would be out of the hands of the player. See
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: so the player has no control of the league, and
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: if they decided to make a season shorter, this is
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: this is an NBA down an NBA player. Well, if
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: I can afford to pay you. I think it's more
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: of the owner.
- 1:08:55Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, extra game making almost a quarter of a
- 1:09:01Speaker 5: billion dollars.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: Shut up? How fire you mess around? And now?
- 1:09:09Speaker 5: How are you.

- 1:12:05Speaker 1: shock show? I'm just w shock wing kN T. I
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: would really love, you know, if I could interview some
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: NBA guys and I don't look over here in the
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: next couple of weeks some of the guys I know,
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: just to see their opinion. What is it that has
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: because this has been in our headlines for a while.
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: How the NBA, whether it's Steve Kerr, different people or
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: low management of why the modern day athlete? To me,
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: it seems that the modern day athletic athlete wants to
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: do more all the time. They don't want to wait
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: till their post career. They want to live their whole life,
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: even within their career. In the career, I want to
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: I want to race and shoot. Yeah. I want to
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: fly anywhere at any point for any event. I want
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: to shoot a commercial.
- 1:12:56Speaker 6: For stuff I ain't got nothing to do with, you know,
- 1:12:59Speaker 6: like my Jordan or even when you what's the guy
- 1:13:03Speaker 6: the baseball player for the Angels.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: Rock carew Mike Traut who was famously known where they
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: only did that kind of stuff on the off season
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: and the off season off season, not like spring training.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: It was one yeah or break Yeah, like I can
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: the next time, I can do it in the summer,
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: or I can do it all Star break, and it's
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: got to be I'm not going to be somewhere trying
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: to shoot a commercial. So those little particulars are things,
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: because I know what you're saying, Greg, But the physical
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: as far as the beating up, you changed all those rules.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: Now you just made it like it's almost like soccer.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: Instead of kicking, your shooting and just a lot of running,
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: just a lot of running. And then with the injuries
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: they have are the the but are you overuse injuries?
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: But are you resting? They're and they're not. No, That's
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: what I'm saying. You're not resting because as you went
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: down to the bad Producer and who did you say
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: for next two Times concert.
- 1:14:05Speaker 5: Right after the game and had sealed with no murk
- 1:14:10Speaker 5: time can that's what you was doing. Instead of resting.
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: Your writing, you had noodles run cities and get off
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: the plane and go right.
- 1:14:22Speaker 5: To the club club, right to the club, right to
- 1:14:25Speaker 5: the club, and then you kick it with Drake till
- 1:14:28Speaker 5: four a m.
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: And practice it.
- 1:14:30Speaker 5: They I haven't even seen whether the guys bragged that
- 1:14:33Speaker 5: now that like they don't even take the PlayStations on
- 1:14:37Speaker 5: the road.
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: They'll just buy one and leave it in the at
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: the hotel, you know. And this is everything, which means
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: you're staying up like you're saying you.
- 1:14:45Speaker 6: Came, and then I keep on wondering for doing that,
- 1:14:49Speaker 6: and you're you saying managing. But I mean, it takes
- 1:14:55Speaker 6: as much energy to go to the club as does
- 1:14:58Speaker 6: anything else. Why won't you're not injured? Why are you
- 1:15:01Speaker 6: don't rest on me? I don't get your rest time?
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: Couple of birthdays here today going into the weekend. The
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: Great Lines of Manelli is eighty years old. Mitt Romney
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: seventy nine, Aaron ex Hart is fifty eighty Plate two
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: face Yes in the dark night? Who had Matt Millen
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: remember lying backer and she am? Matt Millan sixty eight
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: years old. Dale Murphy, the Big seven zero is Old Murphy.
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: Darryl Strawberry sixty four, the head coach Ohio State. I know,
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: I know Big Kenny. I know Kmanchi Greg Ryan Day
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: forty seven. I know, I know Ryan Day again for
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: like the tenth time. I mean, and he's dying his hair.
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: Oh he got some hair plugs. Ron Day got it
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: all going on up there. But I know it doesn't
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: seem like Ryan Day forty seven, Buddy forty seven years stop?
- 1:15:57Speaker 6: Wait wait wait wait wait wait, white white head coach
- 1:16:00Speaker 6: of the Buckeyes. I know I'm saying, I know who
- 1:16:02Speaker 6: we're talking about now, Champion. I'm talking about his age. Now,
- 1:16:06Speaker 6: we really gonna just sit here for like the seventh
- 1:16:09Speaker 6: year in the row and let the man be forty
- 1:16:11Speaker 6: seven years old.
- 1:16:13Speaker 5: I've been doing this. I ain't even talking about since
- 1:16:15Speaker 5: we started doing it. I know for the last four years. Ryan,
- 1:16:18Speaker 5: They've been forty seven years. We're gonna just let that
- 1:16:21Speaker 5: happen every year he dark his hair out. So I'm saying,
- 1:16:24Speaker 5: we just gonna keep on going with this. Yeah, he
- 1:16:26Speaker 5: is super cuse. You can tell he is supercuse getting
- 1:16:28Speaker 5: the edge and everything.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: Jack harlow Is twenty eight, Common Is fifty four, Tristan
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: Thompson thirty five. Where's he now? If he's not on Cleveland,
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: I don't think he's on a team. William H. Macy.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: If you never watched Shameless, you haven't watched the TV show,
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: because he does excellent and shame you thought he was
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: good in the Jurassic Park right seventy six years old.
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: He plays the Dad Frank and Shameless. Cocoa Golf twenty two.
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: Dana Delaney seventy, Trent dilferd who just couldn't make it
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: happen at U A B. He tried for two years
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: and they got rid of and Trent he'd only been
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: coaching for drafted with me and excuse me, he'd only
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: been coaching for five He was coaching a high school
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: team right before he got he had that name, and
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: he had never coached anywhere. But who somebody is kind
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: of like advanced high school. I mean, don't tell my boy, Rodney,
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: but it's kind of like it's like a high school
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: all star.

- 1:17:55Speaker 1: with George. I can hang with And there's a particular
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: thing that Vic Kenny likes to do that Joe would
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: be his man. I'm talking about that man. Man it
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: with George Wilson forty five years old, Larry Johnson, Grandmama,
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: it's fifty seven. Michael Caine ninety three. My Caine's still
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: here still, and he shocked, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: He like, yeah, what he went from blaming it on Rio,
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: Remember y'all remember, Yeah, Yeah, blame it on Rio way
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: back about fifty years ago. Him and Daryn Strawberry both
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: about Billy Crystal seventy eight, Elise neil is sixty some
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: own bis is twenty nine, and uh no one shoots
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: it from the deep better. Steph Curry thirty eight years old.
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: It's Steph Curry. And sometimes when Steve Kurr makes those statements,
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: I think he'd be trying to make him for Steph.
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: He wants to try to figure out way to keep
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: Steph around another four five years by shortening the season.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: How can I get a little lighter load for Steph?
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: Let me take some years off. But Steph is thirty
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: eight years old and Steph Curry been Kenny work here. Ah,
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: it's a little limited. We got some moan.
- 1:19:14Speaker 5: We we'd have to file paperwork for Liza. But at
- 1:19:18Speaker 5: least Neil looks like she's right in the budget, looks
- 1:19:23Speaker 5: like she minimum.
- 1:19:25Speaker 6: She needs an experienced contractor somebody just can you know,
- 1:19:29Speaker 6: for a year, just be there in case the starter
- 1:19:32Speaker 6: can't get.

- 1:19:35Speaker 6: I'm gonna sign some paperwork with at least Neil for
- 1:19:37Speaker 6: the weekend. It's just a league minimum. We'll be back

- 1:20:37Speaker 12: to feel like I could protect myself. I hadn't thought
- 1:20:40Speaker 12: about the danger of an unlocked gun in my own
- 1:20:42Speaker 12: home too.
- 1:20:44Speaker 9: Meaware are your napkins well, not that drawer unless anyone

- 1:21:56Speaker 1: I always wanted the girls like you.
- 1:21:58Speaker 5: It's such a put.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: Welcome back to this What Shocks Show. I'm the Sports
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: Shocks wing kN t Bam out of Bayue, out of
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: the heat, eighty three points, the second most points in
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: a game by NBA player, skipping over Kobe Bryant is Bam,
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: and I guess for us with Bam, uh, it's it's
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: kind of like what Wilked Chamblain, who has the record,
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: is even more impressive when it's done by more of
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: a power forward because you know, you don't have the
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: advent of the three point. You know, not that Bam
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: can't shoot it, and he didn't make any, but that's
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: not what he's known for. The free throw shooting kind
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: of You think about Wilk's going one hundred points and
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: it was barely a forty fifty percent free throw shooters,
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: So it was buckets that was. Know what I'm saying
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: I'm talking about outside of that night, Yeah, the particular
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: is going into it. Yeah, it doesn't set up right
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: for that kind of thing, especially Kobe different than those
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: two guys. Kobe can take the ball yeah, yeah, he
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: doesn't need anybody to describe him the ball right right,
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: He doesn't have to wait to be the third person.
- 1:23:33Speaker 6: We famously heard how Kobe's looked at people and be like,
- 1:23:35Speaker 6: I'm gonna hit one hundred ports tonight. You know I
- 1:23:38Speaker 6: ain't passing about tonight being about ninety four points, and
- 1:23:42Speaker 6: everybody just got open over.
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: Everybody, Kobe, Kobe, I'm open baby down here. That's nice
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: for you, get it off the rim. But Bam and
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: Wilt they need especially in Wilt's time, he needs somebody
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: to bring the ball down and give it to him,
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: whereas Bam is more of that prototypical, the newer kind
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: of power forward. The dribbleles. But eighty three point impressive.
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: It doesn't matter when where or who it's against. It
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: was an NBA game, right Yeah. Some people was mad though,
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: they said NBA guarbitch. Well, we were talking about cutting games.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: Is the NBA suffering because the one nice thing about
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: the WNBA is and the thing that scares me. I
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: don't want the WNBA to expand because the amount of
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: teams allows every team that have the ability to be
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: a super squad. When you watch them, you got four
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: first round pick. Like when you watch The Raider, you
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: might just not know, like somebody like a Kelsey Plomb
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: had the scoring record and you put her on the
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: court with Isaac Wilson and it's like all these people
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: on one team. Yeah, every team, every game is a
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: collection of.
- 1:25:05Speaker 5: As an NCAA final line, Yeah yeah, and that's what
- 1:25:09Speaker 5: will make make it make it fall.
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: In the NBA, it's so spread out that there's certain
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: cities and certain teams you don't really know the players.
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: We were talking about the Magic and the Hawks, two
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: teams as good as the young man what's his name for,
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: Ben Bendero, Ben Carroll, Ben Carroll for the Magic, Jalen
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: Johnson having a great year for the But nobody sees
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: those teams as something to be consolidated. NBA, even if
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: you just cut it down to like twenty five teams.
- 1:25:45Speaker 6: To push all those players, how many teams do we
- 1:25:47Speaker 6: have now it's thirty thirty teams and you're saying, how
- 1:25:51Speaker 6: twenty seven? You know, I'm just saying just hypothetically that
- 1:25:56Speaker 6: from thirty to twenty five, and you took those five
- 1:25:58Speaker 6: teams and now all those players have to condense.
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: Into the system.
- 1:26:04Speaker 6: See, and I think the thing that we've accepted and
- 1:26:07Speaker 6: gotten just normalized with the NBA is in the NBA,
- 1:26:12Speaker 6: somebody's got to be the man. Everybody feel like I
- 1:26:16Speaker 6: can go to my Orlando or my Atlanta. I might
- 1:26:20Speaker 6: not be on the same level as you are out
- 1:26:22Speaker 6: in LA, but in Atlanta when you talk the man,
- 1:26:26Speaker 6: it's my name that you mentioned. And now I gotta
- 1:26:28Speaker 6: go blend that with some dude out of Philly and
- 1:26:33Speaker 6: they keep passing him the ball like when they say
- 1:26:35Speaker 6: give it to the guy, and I throw my hands
- 1:26:38Speaker 6: out like this and the ball go somewhere.
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: You're doing it independently anyway. You're going to gang up
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: when you can. Yeah.
- 1:26:45Speaker 6: Yeah, but that's sort of my choice that you know,
- 1:26:48Speaker 6: I get to Soucide where I'm gonna go, and I
- 1:26:50Speaker 6: still be the man at my position.
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: It's like the NFL. Yeah, there's thirty two teams. There's
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: sixteen quarterbacks. Yeah, and eight of us past. You know
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: I'm saying there's sixteen quarterbacks. Just throw it out there, yeah,
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: I mean, sixteen teams are going to take the field
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: not feeling good about that position, and sixteen are You
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: can be too watered down at some point and That's
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: why I thought the NBA with the w NBA. The
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: one thing that cutting out some of those teams did
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: produce is that you can watch an Indiana Fever game
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: last year or two years ago, take on the New
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: York Liberty, and you would think you was watching the
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: All Star Game. It's got to be the All Star Game,
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: right at least that's how it felt like when you
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: watch the game, that kind of game, and that's that's
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: great TV. You got those players like the Atlanta Dream
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: You just don't remember those young ladies, but all those
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: young ladies are like the third pick of the draft.
- 1:27:58Speaker 5: Like at one time we had Charles Angel mccontrey on
- 1:28:01Speaker 5: the team here in Atlanta.
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: You know, you got two superstars.
- 1:28:04Speaker 5: But I was gonna say, speaking of the BAM we
- 1:28:07Speaker 5: and the w NBA after the game and everything and
- 1:28:11Speaker 5: all the fan flair and everybody, they did the interview
- 1:28:14Speaker 5: with him and had Asia up on the stand with
- 1:28:18Speaker 5: him when he did his postgame interview, you know that,
- 1:28:23Speaker 5: what do y'all think about that? Or did y'all think
- 1:28:26Speaker 5: about it? I didn't understand it. I mean I couldn't
- 1:28:29Speaker 5: understand because you know, this is an NBA game. Yeah,
- 1:28:32Speaker 5: that's his girlfriend, not his wife. Yeah, she's four time
- 1:28:36Speaker 5: m b P of the w n B A, but
- 1:28:39Speaker 5: she was in the press cons for the Miami Heat.
- 1:28:41Speaker 5: She played for the Vegas Aces. I just it just
- 1:28:44Speaker 5: didn't I mean, it was like, well, and so you
- 1:28:47Speaker 5: didn't like it? Why why shouldn't she have been there?
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: You said, why didn't like it? And why shouldn't she
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: have been there?
- 1:28:54Speaker 5: First of all, this was BAM's moment he was an
- 1:28:57Speaker 5: NBA game, And not that I did like it, It's
- 1:29:01Speaker 5: just that it was sort of weird.
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: That okay, okay that you bring in. Can I say something.
- 1:29:06Speaker 5: A w n B A player, I mean, if if
- 1:29:08Speaker 5: Caitlin was at the game, would y'all have bought her or.
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: If another was dating her? Up? Now, a lot of
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: people when a lot of people when they get.
- 1:29:17Speaker 5: Before you're right, hold on one second, because he did
- 1:29:20Speaker 5: not bamn out of by you.
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: Asia Wilson are engaged. Yes, the best woman player in
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: the world right is.
- 1:29:34Speaker 6: The nineteen time m v P. It is engaged to
- 1:29:37Speaker 6: the number two score of all time per single game
- 1:29:42Speaker 6: in NBA history.
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: Just make sure, because you're just making it seem like
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: Asia Wilson just happened to be from South Beach and
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: just or wherever and walked over by the arena like
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: man right.
- 1:29:52Speaker 6: So as it goes with basketball, she has and she was.
- 1:29:57Speaker 6: She was BAM's ride, right, so wait out in the car,
- 1:30:01Speaker 6: she told Bam right. She leveled them up. Hey, I'm
- 1:30:03Speaker 6: coming inside. A lot of people have their loved ones
- 1:30:06Speaker 6: on the podium when they speak, including I'm way, I
- 1:30:11Speaker 6: feel blessed. Remember when Steph Curry used to bring his daughter.
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: But that your daughter? You got it right there.
- 1:30:18Speaker 6: She ain't sitting there in lest she don't. Daughter, ain't
- 1:30:22Speaker 6: won nineteen in w NBA MVP, ain't hit one point,
- 1:30:26Speaker 6: I ain't hit one point. Asia nineteen time, nineteen times
- 1:30:33Speaker 6: nineteen nd.
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: Bick Kennedy, do you have an issue with Asia?
- 1:30:39Speaker 9: Uh?
- 1:30:40Speaker 6: It was like she was up there on some shut
- 1:30:42Speaker 6: up bam remember the time I scored. No, if anybody
- 1:30:46Speaker 6: has a right to be there, she has a right.
- 1:30:48Speaker 6: Not only is she his fiance, but she's the nineteenth time.
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: No, No, I don't think.
- 1:30:53Speaker 5: I don't think they their boyfriend and girl.
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: You have an issue? No, I was, and I wasn't
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: expecting it, but it was. I thought it was nice
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: to see. Well, it's it's better than the rest of
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: the media because soon as they break up, then you
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: want to splatter everything about them on the headlines. Correct,
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: I bet you, I bet you. I need to know
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: that Dak was getting getting a divorce. I didn't need
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: to know that Luca and his young lady or having issues.
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: And I don't even know really any of it. I
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: didn't know who. You didn't even tell me that who
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: won the game last night with the Lakers and went
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: right into some court proceeding. So you want to show
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: me that stuff, but you can't show me. He was
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: all over showing Cardi B over Taylor Swift.
- 1:31:48Speaker 5: He was all that.
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: He was asking why she didn't get enough to come
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: and they and she ain't never ran a down in football,
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: and Cardi B is not. They wasn't doing press conference
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: as Asia is in her sport. No, no, no, because
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: we're talking about the age more people know. I didn't
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: say popularity, did you? Did I say popularity? It's good
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: in their sport. She's not better in what she does
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: as Asia Wilson is in her sport.
- 1:32:18Speaker 5: That Asia the number one in her sport. Yeah, don't
- 1:32:24Speaker 5: nobody even question that. You make that statement and everybody. Okay,
- 1:32:30Speaker 5: So I'm just saying popularity doesn't mean good. You can
- 1:32:33Speaker 5: be popular for wrong things. Jeffrey Epstein ooh ooh, and
- 1:32:38Speaker 5: on that get more coverage than the man who's literally
- 1:32:42Speaker 5: out there feeding kids this morning. Yeah, with his own money,
- 1:32:47Speaker 5: with his own money, his own money, that woke up
- 1:32:49Speaker 5: at four o'clock to feed these kids. He got no
- 1:32:51Speaker 5: coverage today. I got it, twin. Don't worry about it.
- 1:32:54Speaker 5: The kid's gonna eat. But you're trying to link Jeffrey
- 1:32:56Speaker 5: Epstein to everybody, everybody, everybody by the I smoked the
- 1:33:02Speaker 5: joint with his cousin. Now they got me on the fire.
- 1:33:04Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying. Cousin, Obviously you can get
- 1:33:09Speaker 5: You can garner fame in this country for anything, anything,
- 1:33:14Speaker 5: anything and not and not be warranted and sit.
- 1:33:18Speaker 6: We have people at at press conferences for the in
- 1:33:23Speaker 6: the White House who ain't never been involved in politics
- 1:33:27Speaker 6: a day in their life.
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: We'll be bad sports jam. No, you don't know. You
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: didn't say that the whole time you had to Like,
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: you didn't say congratulations, Bam until that.
- 1:33:42Speaker 5: Any passed Kobe, So you know you don't like, we'll

- 1:35:30Speaker 4: allowed us to take control of the situation together.

- 1:35:35Speaker 19: Go to alz dot org.
- 1:35:37Speaker 13: Slash time to talk.

- 1:35:45Speaker 18: And now back to the sports John Wayne Gandy, it's
- 1:35:58Speaker 18: Wayne between lock On.

- 1:36:13Speaker 2: very Jomy, welcome back to this what shock sell, I'm
- 1:36:17Speaker 2: this swortshock Wing Candy.
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: Good morning to you out there and listening. Man, this
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: show has flown by Big Kenny. We got any traction
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: on uh sports jock uh to say traction We've got it?
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: We need to hit on.
- 1:36:29Speaker 6: I'm talking about We got grizzly trade traction this morning
- 1:36:33Speaker 6: online from our loyal like a four.
- 1:36:36Speaker 5: Fifty, like an F four fifty lifted with the Texas squat.
- 1:36:42Speaker 6: You see what I'm saying about the things we just
- 1:36:44Speaker 6: tearing up, just tearing up the grass. We started at
- 1:36:47Speaker 6: the top of the last hour with our loyal New
- 1:36:52Speaker 6: York Lost Vegas Raider fan saying that we should pile
- 1:36:57Speaker 6: on the hypocrite bat producer today.
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: He said, it's not but it won't but he won't learn.
- 1:37:03Speaker 21: Uh.
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: We had we had, we had, we had Elder.
- 1:37:12Speaker 6: Casey make the comment when we were talking about Magic
- 1:37:15Speaker 6: City and its appropriateness.
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: Uh.
- 1:37:17Speaker 6: He quoted the movie Harlem Knights and said, all my
- 1:37:21Speaker 6: holes clean. That's from Vera Vera. Yeah, Jared Lloyd said,
- 1:37:28Speaker 6: built different when you made that, we just built different.
- 1:37:30Speaker 6: He said, Hey, genetics don't get the Jimmy the Greek
- 1:37:33Speaker 6: on here, so he didn't want us to get in
- 1:37:35Speaker 6: trouble for that.
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: Uh.
- 1:37:39Speaker 6: Elder Casey said that the Falcons are his team now.
- 1:37:43Speaker 6: The Raider Nation fan Jared Lloyd said, the Raider Nation
- 1:37:48Speaker 6: fans are happy that Max is back two number ones
- 1:37:51Speaker 6: is nice, but you can only hope that the pick
- 1:37:54Speaker 6: turns into a player as good as Crosby. So he's
- 1:37:57Speaker 6: going for bird in the hand for him.
- 1:38:01Speaker 11: Uh.
- 1:38:01Speaker 6: And Elder Casey said he's glad to us come to
- 1:38:07Speaker 6: Atlanta and uh, he'll go to Magic City in the
- 1:38:10Speaker 6: off season. He said that Falcons fans, which Bad Producer
- 1:38:16Speaker 6: is not a real Falcons fan. Uh, as long as
- 1:38:19Speaker 6: it's not Mike Vic, they don't care. And uh, to
- 1:38:24Speaker 6: round it all up, uh, Bad Producer tried to take
- 1:38:28Speaker 6: a personal shot. I'm not even gonna read that because
- 1:38:30Speaker 6: I know it was he said. Uh, he got excited
- 1:38:33Speaker 6: because he got a pink bag in the car that that.
- 1:38:40Speaker 1: Taking, so he didn't want coming at me. You read
- 1:38:43Speaker 1: you read your comment. Well, he just said I wasn't
- 1:38:46Speaker 1: a real fan, and he kept saying that I had.
- 1:38:50Speaker 1: I don't know if you're a real elder, so you know.
- 1:38:53Speaker 6: And he said, we're talking about the foul because not
- 1:38:55Speaker 6: the Bible, which is why I wouldn't read it, because
- 1:38:58Speaker 6: you talked about apples, but you.
- 1:39:00Speaker 5: Talking about he talking about all his holes clean. So
- 1:39:03Speaker 5: you know what I'm saying, I'm just listening to him.
- 1:39:05Speaker 5: Said what kind of preacher. Is he that's a movie.
- 1:39:07Speaker 5: I need to go to his church?
- 1:39:09Speaker 1: Do you go to church? Oh? Yeah, I love it?
- 1:39:13Speaker 5: And the church said something, what's wrong with what he said?
- 1:39:16Speaker 5: Ain't not wrong with what I said. I might need
- 1:39:18Speaker 5: to be in his church. He said all his hoses clean.
- 1:39:20Speaker 5: And but he said, I ain't a fan, So I said,
- 1:39:23Speaker 5: I might have the chickens. You know, we're just bantering.
- 1:39:28Speaker 1: No, you be dead serious. You don't banter. That's the
- 1:39:31Speaker 1: thing some people do.
- 1:39:33Speaker 5: Banter.
- 1:39:34Speaker 1: You say, they say stuff, they talk to you. You
- 1:39:36Speaker 1: take it with a grain of salt. All right, yours
- 1:39:38Speaker 1: is a whole spoonfool. Look at you, Look at you,
- 1:39:42Speaker 1: at your ugly shoes, them some woo shoes. That's why
- 1:39:45Speaker 1: your mom and daddy getting a divorce.
- 1:39:47Speaker 5: That's how it goes with him way. They hadn't even
- 1:39:51Speaker 5: announced that. Yeah, and you done just wow? Uh?
- 1:39:55Speaker 1: Whe of You said a story about food food stamp
- 1:39:58Speaker 1: recipients chewing over banned sugary drink.
- 1:40:02Speaker 6: I sent that food stamp recipients are suing the UH government.
- 1:40:07Speaker 6: The government over the fact that they are not allowed
- 1:40:10Speaker 6: to use those food stamps on candy and soda. I
- 1:40:14Speaker 6: thought that was a good thing most people. No, no, no, listen, listen, listen.
- 1:40:19Speaker 6: Do you remember and this is because I've lived long
- 1:40:21Speaker 6: enough to remember this. Do you remember back when they
- 1:40:23Speaker 6: were handing out food stamps, the paper foods, just when
- 1:40:27Speaker 6: food stamps back in the day, and the people who
- 1:40:30Speaker 6: were receiving them had advocate groups saying that this is
- 1:40:34Speaker 6: atrocious because the only food that you sell in these
- 1:40:38Speaker 6: stores where they go to spin those stamps are non
- 1:40:41Speaker 6: nutritious junk foods. They have no nutritional value, it's empty calories.
- 1:40:47Speaker 6: We need to start providing more nutritional meals to the
- 1:40:50Speaker 6: people who use these resources. And now the government has
- 1:40:54Speaker 6: listened to those people and said, yeah, you're right, we
- 1:40:57Speaker 6: ain't gonna let them eat no junk food. It's all
- 1:40:59Speaker 6: ready a food desert neighborhoods. We're gonna just say you
- 1:41:04Speaker 6: can get wholesome, healthy foods with these food stamps. And
- 1:41:09Speaker 6: now they want to sue. Now let us get that
- 1:41:13Speaker 6: sugar in them empty calories back. And that's why I
- 1:41:16Speaker 6: sent the story because it's the media don't know enough.
- 1:41:21Speaker 6: Oh why didn't they tell us?
- 1:41:22Speaker 1: Because you can literally go to the grocery store and
- 1:41:25Speaker 1: you can spend a lot of money on that sugary
- 1:41:28Speaker 1: kind of stuff and not actually get anything anything of value,
- 1:41:32Speaker 1: of value, anything the nutritional value. And sometimes you're playing
- 1:41:37Speaker 1: with your mind telling yourself you are getting something of
- 1:41:40Speaker 1: but you're not. You got a whole bunch of moon
- 1:41:44Speaker 1: pies and oatmeal cakes and it got oatmeal in the name,
- 1:41:49Speaker 1: but it ain't real. Everybody is everybody wants to condemn
- 1:41:55Speaker 1: soft drinks. You know, they make it. It's surprising that
- 1:41:59Speaker 1: they are even allowed to be in the grocery store.
- 1:42:02Speaker 1: They seem like they need to be their own entity
- 1:42:04Speaker 1: because people just condemn, you know, try to change the
- 1:42:08Speaker 1: cup size and all kinds of things you shouldn't be
- 1:42:11Speaker 1: able to get, you know those So I didn't. I
- 1:42:13Speaker 1: didn't know that it was that bad of a thing.
- 1:42:16Speaker 1: Now they upset. They need they sugar stuff back.
- 1:42:21Speaker 6: I need to go and get that stuff, so I
- 1:42:24Speaker 6: can you know, I need thirteen packs of cookies and
- 1:42:27Speaker 6: four boxes.
- 1:42:27Speaker 5: Well, I have noticed that a lot of convenience stores
- 1:42:31Speaker 5: now have put signs up said not taking EBT cards anymore,
- 1:42:35Speaker 5: So maybe that was the start of it.
- 1:42:37Speaker 6: Is like, well, a lot of those stores aren't taking
- 1:42:40Speaker 6: EBT cards anymore because the stuff that they have to
- 1:42:45Speaker 6: bring into those stores that you can buy is out
- 1:42:49Speaker 6: of their process. Why would I bring bread and fruit
- 1:42:52Speaker 6: in here when I'm just selling cigarettes and lottery tickets.
- 1:42:57Speaker 6: And you could come in here and get eight snickers
- 1:43:01Speaker 6: and I could sell you that with a two liter coke.
- 1:43:03Speaker 1: But now I can't do that no more. So I
- 1:43:05Speaker 1: ain't finna carry no. I gotta get a refrigerated section
- 1:43:08Speaker 1: to sell you good food. I keep telling you about texting,
- 1:43:14Speaker 1: but just like Jared said in the first hour, he
- 1:43:17Speaker 1: just ain't gonna get it. You don't have any respect
- 1:43:19Speaker 1: for me, do you When somebody continues to do the
- 1:43:23Speaker 1: same thing against you, that means that they don't have
- 1:43:25Speaker 1: respect for you. I didn't even sports it, so don't
- 1:43:29Speaker 1: even go there. That's no, it's you can't tell me
- 1:43:32Speaker 1: how I see life. If I tell somebody something ten
- 1:43:36Speaker 1: times and they don't do it, they don't really actually
- 1:43:38Speaker 1: respect me. We used to go shoot up them to
- 1:43:40Speaker 1: his neighborhoods you had that. I told you about this foot.
- 1:43:46Speaker 1: I keep have to tell you.
- 1:43:47Speaker 5: Every show we done told you about the four times
- 1:43:49Speaker 5: you don't listen, We're gonna show you don't worry about
- 1:43:50Speaker 5: it about sport to be out there in twenty minutes.
- 1:43:54Speaker 1: Everybody be outside in twenty minutes.

- 1:45:15Speaker 15: Jock dot Com.
- 1:45:18Speaker 1: But I smoke, I get lost in the music.
- 1:45:21Speaker 4: I'm going to isolate each instrument, the rhythmic base, the
- 1:45:25Speaker 4: harmonies on the piano with sticky melody.
- 1:45:32Speaker 11: Hey, careful, bid, there's someone crossing the streets.
- 1:45:35Speaker 1: Sorry, I didn't see them there. If you feel different,
- 1:45:39Speaker 1: you drive different. Don't drive high. It's dangerous and illegal everywhere.
- 1:45:44Speaker 1: A message from NITZA and the ad Council. And now
- 1:45:49Speaker 1: back to the sports John Wayne Gandy, it's time for
- 1:45:55Speaker 1: a school board.
- 1:45:56Speaker 19: When we put a spin on life and sports and
- 1:45:59Speaker 19: how they interamina on the Sports jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:46:08Speaker 1: Makes me feel like, welcome back to this war shock show.
- 1:46:29Speaker 1: I'm this what shock, Wayne can d Pete Carroll feels
- 1:46:32Speaker 1: like Geno Smith will rebound with the Jets. This would
- 1:46:36Speaker 1: be a second tour with your Jts Jets, Jets Jets.
- 1:46:40Speaker 1: It feels like Geno who was picked up with the Jets.
- 1:46:45Speaker 1: Geno was doing great when he was out there in Seattle,
- 1:46:49Speaker 1: played good football, got there with the Raiders. Things just
- 1:46:53Speaker 1: not clicking. But Pete Carroll, his coach, feels like he'll
- 1:46:57Speaker 1: do a good job.
- 1:46:58Speaker 6: I kind of feel like their universe versus trying to
- 1:47:00Speaker 6: say something to me sports jock. You know, I was
- 1:47:02Speaker 6: in the fan transfer portals from the lead New York
- 1:47:05Speaker 6: Jets go back to Chicago Bears.
- 1:47:07Speaker 1: Now they're trying to be the Indiana Bears. I don't understand, Like,
- 1:47:10Speaker 1: why can't it just stay like it was? Well, who
- 1:47:15Speaker 1: else do you have of it is? The Fields kids
- 1:47:17Speaker 1: still there? He is a free agent.
- 1:47:21Speaker 5: Yeah, and then speaking of twenty three quarterbacks, says Geno,
- 1:47:26Speaker 5: The Jets had like twenty three quarterbacks in between. I've
- 1:47:29Speaker 5: always said the New York Jets are where quarterbacks go
- 1:47:32Speaker 5: to become irrelevant. They go there first from to Die,
- 1:47:36Speaker 5: that's the quarterback bone yard. The first pick always goes there.
- 1:47:41Speaker 5: And in three years he's brought.
- 1:47:42Speaker 1: And it's amazing some of the names that are in
- 1:47:45Speaker 1: between Geno and Oh my.
- 1:47:46Speaker 6: Goodness, it's it's a who's who of the number one
- 1:47:50Speaker 6: college quarterbacks, the guys who they talked about every Saturday.
- 1:47:54Speaker 1: The Jets have a who's whose list of those guys.
- 1:47:57Speaker 1: I think the issue to me with teams like the Jets,
- 1:48:02Speaker 1: teams like the Falcons, when you look at those teams.
- 1:48:07Speaker 1: The Browns, their failure comes from a fans perspective, is
- 1:48:16Speaker 1: that they want to win from the quarterback position. They
- 1:48:24Speaker 1: want to win from that position. They want to fashion
- 1:48:28Speaker 1: themselves as somewhere like a Kansas City Chiefs, where the
- 1:48:34Speaker 1: winning is dictated by the quarterback. Okay, they broadway out.
- 1:48:44Speaker 1: They don't want to just win where the quarterback is
- 1:48:47Speaker 1: a keg, a cog in the wheel. They want him
- 1:48:51Speaker 1: to be the wheel. And certain teams are like that.
- 1:48:57Speaker 1: They want to be powered. They don't. They don't. Really,
- 1:49:00Speaker 1: the quarterback needs to be exceptional MVP. He can't just
- 1:49:05Speaker 1: be good and good for the team, as we talk
- 1:49:08Speaker 1: about like a game manager in the mindset. He needs
- 1:49:12Speaker 1: to be at the forefront of not just winning like
- 1:49:18Speaker 1: a Matt Ryan, but exciting. They want Lamar Jackson. They
- 1:49:27Speaker 1: want because they want to be entertained. They don't want
- 1:49:31Speaker 1: just the winning. They want the winning and the entertainment.
- 1:49:35Speaker 1: It's Broadway and that's why. And the Jets have always
- 1:49:39Speaker 1: the Giants doesn't don't prescribe to that up there in
- 1:49:42Speaker 1: its same city. But the Giants have just win most
- 1:49:45Speaker 1: of the winning the best way we can. Most of
- 1:49:47Speaker 1: their winning comes from a defensive dominance when they you know,
- 1:49:52Speaker 1: regardless of what Eli was, just hold us down. Eli,
- 1:49:57Speaker 1: don't throw it away, Phil Sims. What's what's the other
- 1:50:00Speaker 1: guy that came in right after to see him? They
- 1:50:02Speaker 1: win and won with Hostel. Just don't throw it away, baby, Jeff,
- 1:50:06Speaker 1: Jeff Hostel, don't just don't throw it away. Michael straighthand
- 1:50:10Speaker 1: gonna get this sack or antenna, your peers is gonna
- 1:50:13Speaker 1: make this interception or l t or o c. Just
- 1:50:19Speaker 1: don't throw it away. We're gonna give the ball to Tiki.
- 1:50:21Speaker 1: We're gonna get the ball to say, you know, the
- 1:50:23Speaker 1: different guys, and they're going to be our receiver. David Turie,
- 1:50:28Speaker 1: he's gonna come up with the big catch and we're
- 1:50:31Speaker 1: gonna win all that winning. The Giants have none of
- 1:50:36Speaker 1: those quarterbacks. Who's the last quarterback they got in the
- 1:50:40Speaker 1: Hall of Fame? Good trivia, Phil, Phil Sims. You gotta
- 1:50:48Speaker 1: go back to like elies not in it. Jeff Hostel
- 1:50:50Speaker 1: is not in it any anybody. When they had Fran
- 1:50:52Speaker 1: Tarkenton before you're talking about before we were because you
- 1:50:59Speaker 1: you would think about that's about it, all of us.
- 1:51:03Speaker 6: You would think that Eli would have qualified by now,
- 1:51:06Speaker 6: but he's eligible yet. Yeah, yeah, that's what I'm saying
- 1:51:10Speaker 6: and all that, and they would have got four super Bowls,
- 1:51:15Speaker 6: right and and I'm not putting, I'm just saying it's
- 1:51:21Speaker 6: different cities function where it's coming from that.
- 1:51:24Speaker 1: But we we we haven't been through a lot of quarterbacks.
- 1:51:27Speaker 5: So that's one thing safe, it's one thing we can say,
- 1:51:30Speaker 5: we haven't been through twenty quarterbacks.
- 1:51:31Speaker 1: Well that's because Matt Ryan produced for so long. But
- 1:51:34Speaker 1: none of you gave him credit that Matt played like
- 1:51:40Speaker 1: ninety nine percent of the game. Matt Ryan showed up
- 1:51:43Speaker 1: to play and was an awesome, awesome quarterback. Statistically, you
- 1:51:47Speaker 1: can't shake him. Can't deny that because he could because
- 1:51:52Speaker 1: he couldn't make the defensive end miss and run for
- 1:51:55Speaker 1: fifty yards like he lost every game. But you didn't
- 1:52:02Speaker 1: have to switch quarterbacks for fifteen years.
- 1:52:05Speaker 6: Fifteen year that's a long time in the NFL. That's
- 1:52:08Speaker 6: a long time anywhere anywhere. That's a long time in
- 1:52:10Speaker 6: waffle house. But what I'm saying, but yeah, that's that's
- 1:52:13Speaker 6: a long time.
- 1:52:14Speaker 1: So you know, that's all. That's all I'm saying. With
- 1:52:16Speaker 1: the Jets, Biginny is like they always want to drive
- 1:52:20Speaker 1: things from the quarterback. Do you think that's do you
- 1:52:22Speaker 1: think that's Joe Namath hangover? Just like like yeah, like
- 1:52:29Speaker 1: we remember when.
- 1:52:30Speaker 6: We back to back had the quarterback and it was
- 1:52:33Speaker 6: the He was a good looking guy and it was
- 1:52:35Speaker 6: just Broadway.
- 1:52:36Speaker 5: It was you know, it was the sixties and we
- 1:52:39Speaker 5: just come on man, you remember, and he would go, hey,
- 1:52:43Speaker 5: how you doing and then he would throw it and
- 1:52:45Speaker 5: everybody loved it and we talked about it and let's just.
- 1:52:49Speaker 6: If we could just get back there maybe. So here's
- 1:52:53Speaker 6: this kid. He's a great quarterback, looking kids, got a
- 1:52:56Speaker 6: lot of personality. Let's get that kid, Well what about
- 1:52:59Speaker 6: these other Let's get the kid with the R and
- 1:53:03Speaker 6: they go there and it's over.
- 1:53:04Speaker 1: One quick note because I said I wouldn't mention it
- 1:53:06Speaker 1: before we go, because the bad producer came in on
- 1:53:09Speaker 1: fire about James Pierce Junior. The d N Here from
- 1:53:12Speaker 1: Atlanta linebacker Kia Jackson speaking of WNBA out of Tennessee.
- 1:53:19Speaker 1: She plays for the Sparks issue with them some domestic
- 1:53:24Speaker 1: violence or restraining order. A big bad producer wants you
- 1:53:28Speaker 1: know James Pierce Junior. What was that point? No, it
- 1:53:32Speaker 1: was just that.
- 1:53:34Speaker 5: They are now going forward with it with her as
- 1:53:38Speaker 5: far as to make sure that the the restraining order
- 1:53:42Speaker 5: is going to be permanent or not. And there's a
- 1:53:44Speaker 5: lot of concerns whether or not with it being that hopen,
- 1:53:47Speaker 5: whether he will be able to stay a falcon or
- 1:53:50Speaker 5: even need some time off from the NFL just.
- 1:53:52Speaker 1: To get his life together. So young man James Pierce
- 1:53:56Speaker 1: Junior still pursuing, I mean to a point where she
- 1:53:59Speaker 1: needs to protect the order, says that she's in fear
- 1:54:02Speaker 1: of his life. Those kind of things, especially in this
- 1:54:07Speaker 1: time forever, always serious, but now definitely people pay attention
- 1:54:12Speaker 1: when you make threats when you pursue. You said some
- 1:54:16Speaker 1: angle about him trying to pay her even.
- 1:54:18Speaker 5: Yeah, there's coming up in the court cases. He was
- 1:54:22Speaker 5: offering her even up until the accident of what happened
- 1:54:26Speaker 5: in Miami when he ran his car, ran his car
- 1:54:29Speaker 5: and flewid from He had offered her seventy five thousand
- 1:54:32Speaker 5: just before that to go on a day and then
- 1:54:35Speaker 5: two hundred thousand estates.
- 1:54:37Speaker 1: Order is sounds like it's justified. It's basically what you're saying.
- 1:54:42Speaker 5: Well, and we're going to see because daven said that
- 1:54:46Speaker 5: she he had physical altercation with her in Miami. But
- 1:54:50Speaker 5: now the Uber drivers came out said it was only
- 1:54:52Speaker 5: a verbal altercation, there was another physical because it's a.
- 1:54:56Speaker 6: Lot of well, sir, I'm here to tell you that,
- 1:55:00Speaker 6: so verbal altercations. You threatened me, that simple assault. For
- 1:55:05Speaker 6: you to tell me you're gonna do something to me,
- 1:55:08Speaker 6: I'm just I'm just saying punishable body telling you whether they're.
- 1:55:11Speaker 5: Saying they're looking at as far as the restraining order,
- 1:55:13Speaker 5: whether it's verbal, physical and those.
- 1:55:15Speaker 1: And obviously he ain't just a talker. And he even
- 1:55:17Speaker 1: rammed their car twice. And that's what my thing is.
- 1:55:19Speaker 1: After you rammed the car, do we need to have
- 1:55:21Speaker 1: to have to debate to what you're gonna do? How
- 1:55:25Speaker 1: to go to court? That's what they said. They gotta
- 1:55:26Speaker 1: go to court about God bless America.
- 1:55:28Speaker 5: I mean, even when it don't even when it don't
- 1:55:31Speaker 5: make sense sense, it stands.
- 1:55:34Speaker 1: Yeah, you try to hit me with the car. I
- 1:55:36Speaker 1: don't know if I need anymore evidence. Come on, man,
- 1:55:39Speaker 1: he messed up with eleag You nit me in a car.
- 1:55:42Speaker 1: He didn't mean, he didn't mean it. So when he
- 1:55:45Speaker 1: got out the car like you lucky after it, you know,
- 1:55:49Speaker 1: flipped over a couple of times, and we all know
- 1:55:56Speaker 1: the truth is he will throw your in the ocean.
