- 0:00Speaker 1: Yeah, this is Mark Simon Show on sevenor Hey, I'm
- 0:10Speaker 1: back and lots to talk about. We got a lot
- 0:13Speaker 1: of stuff to go over. We'll get to all of
- 0:16Speaker 1: that's freezing cold today and it's going to stay that
- 0:19Speaker 1: way for most of the week. Yeah, that's is that allergies,
- 0:25Speaker 1: the cold weather allergies. It doesn't go away. So we
- 0:29Speaker 1: got a lot to talk about. We'll get to the
- 0:31Speaker 1: Kennedy Center Honors, We'll get to Ukraine, We'll get to
- 0:34Speaker 1: Narco Boats, We'll get to George Slapadopoulos, We'll get to
- 0:38Speaker 1: Mom Donnie and his latest crazy ideas. We'll get to
- 0:41Speaker 1: the pipe bomber and how they caught him. It's fascinating. Actually,
- 0:45Speaker 1: we'll get to the Jets. Interesting, what's going on with it?
- 0:51Speaker 1: This is going to be a big movement for the
- 0:53Speaker 1: rest of the season. Anyway, we'll we'll talk about all
- 0:57Speaker 1: of that and more. Be nice to your Democratic friends.
- 1:01Speaker 1: I know they're angry and yelling and screaming. I don't
- 1:04Speaker 1: know I have time to do it today, but we're
- 1:05Speaker 1: at some point we're gonna I'm gonna explain Trump derangement
- 1:08Speaker 1: syndrome in detail. After talking to a number of psychiatrists
- 1:12Speaker 1: and psychologists who've explained exactly what it is. There are
- 1:18Speaker 1: other types of this same disease. In this case it's
- 1:21Speaker 1: Trump derangement syndrome. There are other types. And also for
- 1:25Speaker 1: the past week or two, we've seen hegxith derangement syndrome
- 1:29Speaker 1: as they go nuts trying to get rid of Pete Hegsith. Now,
- 1:32Speaker 1: why it's not even anything really personal. They just want
- 1:36Speaker 1: to get Trump somehow. So whenever they see something, anything,
- 1:41Speaker 1: one little branch of the tree that looks like it's
- 1:43Speaker 1: gonna break, they're just break off any limb of the
- 1:46Speaker 1: tree anything. So they think Hexith is vulnerable. He's not not.
- 1:50Speaker 1: In any way. He hasn't done anything that anybody would
- 1:54Speaker 1: consider wrong in the Trump administration. Signal gait was a
- 1:57Speaker 1: complete ridiculous piece of trivia, absolute nonsense. That's where he
- 2:02Speaker 1: used that signal app for communication. It was approved by
- 2:05Speaker 1: the Pentagon. It was Pentagon policy to use it. If
- 2:08Speaker 1: you shouldn't use it, well you could take a look
- 2:09Speaker 1: at that and maybe not use it, but that's not
- 2:12Speaker 1: a scandal. If you're watching the Sunday shows this week
- 2:16Speaker 1: the opening segments, you might have said, is this a rerun.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Is this from months ago? They were talking about signal
- 2:22Speaker 1: gate using the signal but no, no, they just latch
- 2:25Speaker 1: onto something and they won't let it go. You know,
- 2:28Speaker 1: these Sunday shows, the idea used to be they go
- 2:31Speaker 1: over the news of the week. They didn't do that
- 2:33Speaker 1: on any of the Sunday shows this week. If you
- 2:35Speaker 1: were watching them, you missed out a review of the
- 2:38Speaker 1: news of the week. Instead, they zeroed in on one
- 2:41Speaker 1: or two things that they liked. Well, they're basically only
- 2:45Speaker 1: two get hexaf and Narco boats, and they were going
- 2:50Speaker 1: after these Narco boats, and every crazy Democrat was on
- 2:54Speaker 1: there with their crazy explanations. It might have been we
- 2:57Speaker 1: think it was, mightbe a fishing They could have been
- 2:59Speaker 1: fishing boats. No one's ever seen a fishing boat with
- 3:04Speaker 1: six outboards on it and super high speed going eight
- 3:06Speaker 1: hundred miles an hour at three in the morning. Nobody's
- 3:09Speaker 1: ever seen a fishing boat. I'm not an expert on
- 3:13Speaker 1: the fishing or boats, but you can tell a Narco
- 3:16Speaker 1: boat from a fishing boat. A fishing boat has fishing
- 3:19Speaker 1: equipment all over it and hanging off the sides. You
- 3:23Speaker 1: can tell the Narco boat because it's a super high
- 3:26Speaker 1: speed boat with a million outboard engines on it, and
- 3:29Speaker 1: it's got twenty five oil drums of chemicals. You can
- 3:34Speaker 1: always tell the Narco boat that way. See the fishing
- 3:37Speaker 1: boat brings bait. Bait isn't that big. You don't need
- 3:41Speaker 1: twenty five oil drums full of bait, so you can tell. Hey,
- 3:46Speaker 1: the best moment on the Sunday Shows. The finest moment
- 3:48Speaker 1: was the Senator of Missouri, Eric Schmidt Stephanopoulos, or as
- 3:53Speaker 1: we call him, Trump first named him, George Slopadopoulos is
- 3:59Speaker 1: interviewing him. Now us what they all do. The greatest
- 4:02Speaker 1: example this week was Margaret Brennan. You know they all
- 4:04Speaker 1: do this jacquel and hide. They have a Republican on
- 4:07Speaker 1: and every time the Republican answers, they tear it to him.
- 4:10Speaker 1: They a thousand follow ups, they tear apart his answer,
- 4:14Speaker 1: They yell and scream at him, they go crazy, and
- 4:18Speaker 1: then they go to commercial. Then they come back with
- 4:21Speaker 1: a Democrat and whenever the Democrat answers, they just nod
- 4:25Speaker 1: like a bobblehead. They have no follow ups, no pushback.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Whatever the answer is, uh huh, oh, thank you. Okay,
- 4:30Speaker 1: here's my next question. It's just little softble interviews. So
- 4:33Speaker 1: for the Republican they're vicious pitbulls tearing into them. Then
- 4:37Speaker 1: when they come back from commercial to interview the Democrat,
- 4:39Speaker 1: they're cute little poodles hugging the guests. So Schmidt brought
- 4:43Speaker 1: this up. Stephanopolos is trying to destroy Schmidt. He just
- 4:48Speaker 1: had a guest on talking about the Narco boats and
- 4:51Speaker 1: whatever the guest said, Stephanopolis just nodded like a bobblehead.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Then he comes back with Eric Schmidt. Whatever Schmid said,
- 4:58Speaker 1: Stephanopolis vicious, angry tears into them. Listen to this exchange.
- 5:02Speaker 1: This is Eric Schmidt. This moment went super viral on
- 5:05Speaker 1: the Sunday Show yesterday.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Well, I'm curious about your pushback on that particular point.
- 5:08Speaker 2: With your previous guests, you had zero pushback because he's
- 5:12Speaker 2: giving the Democrat talking points like you spew every single week,
- 5:15Speaker 2: which is probably why your ratings are so bad.
- 5:18Speaker 1: He kept going, he kept tearing into Stephanopolis, and.
- 5:21Speaker 2: You're trying to divert here the attention from what the
- 5:24Speaker 2: American people actually support. Seventy five percent of Americans support
- 5:28Speaker 2: US blowing Narco terrorists out of the water in the
- 5:30Speaker 2: Caribbean who are trying to poison Americans. There's no real
- 5:33Speaker 2: legal debate about the ability to do that. Now you
- 5:35Speaker 2: could have a policy discussion about it, which now you
- 5:38Speaker 2: see the Democrats pivoting from the second strike and the
- 5:42Speaker 2: war crimes allegation to really what this whole thing is about,
- 5:45Speaker 2: should we be doing it in the first place.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Now, you got to remember the drug lords, the big
- 5:49Speaker 1: cartel leaders, you know, Salamanca and all those and Gus
- 5:54Speaker 1: Fring and all the cartel leaders watching the Sunday shows
- 5:58Speaker 1: had tears in their eyes, so grateful at the way
- 6:02Speaker 1: these Sunday hosts were defending them in their drug boats,
- 6:05Speaker 1: sticking up for them, fighting for them.
- 6:08Speaker 2: And this is kind of the rabbit hole of Trump
- 6:09Speaker 2: arrangement syndrome, is that they can't let this thing go.
- 6:12Speaker 2: They can't believe that he won. They didn't want Hagseth
- 6:14Speaker 2: to be the Secretary of War. They fought it. He
- 6:16Speaker 2: was their number one target. They failed at that, and
- 6:18Speaker 2: so now you just have a series and series of
- 6:20Speaker 2: issues that come up every week to try to undermine
- 6:22Speaker 2: this president and the Secretary of War, and it's not working.
- 6:25Speaker 1: It's amazing how this Trump derangement syndrome has these Democrats
- 6:30Speaker 1: defending anything illegal. If it's illegal, they're going to defend it.
- 6:34Speaker 1: If it's narco terrorists and drug shipments, Fell defended, it's
- 6:38Speaker 1: illegals all over the city streets. Fell defended whatever it is.
- 6:42Speaker 1: If it's anti Trump, they'll defend it, even if it's illegal.
- 6:47Speaker 1: The standing up fighting for every criminal in the world. Hey,
- 6:50Speaker 1: now that one of the fascinating things this past week
- 6:52Speaker 1: was they caught the pipe bomber January sixth. Everybody was
- 6:56Speaker 1: focused on the trespassing incident at the Capitol and not
- 7:00Speaker 1: on the pipe bombs. Somebody put bombs at the RNC
- 7:04Speaker 1: and at the DNC. This is pretty serious stuff. They
- 7:09Speaker 1: caught it and they got the bombs and got rid
- 7:11Speaker 1: of them. But that could have been a disastrous that.
- 7:14Speaker 1: You know, all you heard about was January sixth, was
- 7:16Speaker 1: the trespassers, the people at unlawful entry. They were all
- 7:21Speaker 1: charged with unlawful entry, trespassing, that sort of stuff. That's
- 7:24Speaker 1: all you heard about. You never really heard any follow
- 7:27Speaker 1: up on the pipe bombs. And the reason was Christopher Ray,
- 7:32Speaker 1: who was the worst FBI director, a real swamp creature,
- 7:36Speaker 1: and the deep state the swamp was only interested in
- 7:39Speaker 1: getting Trump. They felt that the trespassing at the capitol,
- 7:43Speaker 1: the chaos at the Capitol, would get Trump, so they
- 7:45Speaker 1: focused on that. They investigated like crazy, they prosecuted like crazy.
- 7:52Speaker 1: They got like seven hundred and sixty of those trespassers.
- 7:55Speaker 1: They went after that. The pipe bomb they decided was
- 7:58Speaker 1: of no value to them as their narrative because the
- 8:02Speaker 1: pipe bomber tried to blow up the DNC and the RNC.
- 8:05Speaker 1: It didn't look like he had any political leaning, so
- 8:07Speaker 1: it was of no value to Chris Ray, the FBI,
- 8:12Speaker 1: the deep state, the swamp, the Biden adminstration, they they
- 8:14Speaker 1: weren't interested in the pipe bomber. Finding him not in
- 8:18Speaker 1: any interest, so they let it go. They had a
- 8:20Speaker 1: lot of evidence, but they didn't really do anything with it. Well,
- 8:25Speaker 1: a few weeks ago, actually a couple of months ago,
- 8:27Speaker 1: Trump administration decided to really go after this and do
- 8:31Speaker 1: the investigation and find this guy. And they did. They
- 8:35Speaker 1: took all the existing evidence and then they used AI.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Christopher Ray could have done this, and this is it's
- 8:43Speaker 1: fascinating stuff what they can do with AI. You ever
- 8:45Speaker 1: watched that CSI. But the laboratory stuff they can do
- 8:50Speaker 1: the scientifics to catch a criminals. Frightening, and you're a criminal,
- 8:53Speaker 1: you gotta go whoa this is? I mean, they are
- 8:56Speaker 1: really thorough, but this is way beyond it. This is AI.
- 9:00Speaker 1: So one of the things they used the AI for
- 9:03Speaker 1: they figured out what it takes to make a pipe bomb.
- 9:05Speaker 1: There's about seventeen things you'd have to buy to make
- 9:10Speaker 1: a pipe bomb. You'd have to buy a certain type
- 9:12Speaker 1: of pipe, certain types of chemicals also, So they listed
- 9:16Speaker 1: the seventeen things and then they looked through the sales
- 9:22Speaker 1: receipts of every store, everywhere, home depot, lows, every hardware thing.
- 9:26Speaker 1: They looked through all the sales receipts. Now, only AI
- 9:29Speaker 1: could do this. For humans to do this, you'd need
- 9:31Speaker 1: a team of like ten thousand people and it would
- 9:33Speaker 1: take them years. But the AI can look through the
- 9:36Speaker 1: sale of everything in the America and figure out did
- 9:41Speaker 1: any one person buy all seventeen of these things? And
- 9:45Speaker 1: they got a name somebody that bought all seventeen. Then
- 9:49Speaker 1: they could take the two locations where the pipe bombs were.
- 9:52Speaker 1: You know, your phone has a GPS in it, they
- 9:54Speaker 1: can track where you are. So and only AI could
- 9:58Speaker 1: do this for humans to do. It would take twenty
- 9:59Speaker 1: years and a thousand people. The AI could look through
- 10:03Speaker 1: all the phone records of all the cell phones and
- 10:06Speaker 1: see if anybody was in both those locations on that day.
- 10:10Speaker 1: And they did, and they got it down to one guy.
- 10:13Speaker 1: They figured out it was the guy. And then they
- 10:14Speaker 1: went to you know, they had the security video, they looked,
- 10:18Speaker 1: they found the guy on it. They've got him. He's
- 10:22Speaker 1: been arrested, he will be prosecuted. It's going to be
- 10:24Speaker 1: a hell of a trial. Christopher Ray could have done this,
- 10:28Speaker 1: Biden could have done this. They decided deliberately not to.
- 10:32Speaker 1: But they got the guy and it's a great, great,
- 10:35Speaker 1: great accomplishment for Jeanine Piro, for the FBI. Now here's
- 10:40Speaker 1: the only problem for you said, well, gee, I didn't
- 10:43Speaker 1: hear a loud about this. How come they're not talking
- 10:45Speaker 1: about this. Well, here's the reason. They've looked through this
- 10:47Speaker 1: guy is everything, his emails, his social media, everything. There
- 10:52Speaker 1: is no indication anywhere that he was a Trump voter.
- 10:58Speaker 1: In fact, it appears he did that register with either party.
- 11:01Speaker 1: He did not vote. It seems he has nothing to
- 11:04Speaker 1: do with Trump, no connection. He's more of just an
- 11:06Speaker 1: angry anarchist sort of a guy, so there's nothing to
- 11:10Speaker 1: tie him to a MAGA or Trump. So that's the
- 11:13Speaker 1: other reason you didn't hear anything about it this week.
- 11:17Speaker 1: He's facing thirty years in prison if convicted. It's most
- 11:20Speaker 1: likely he will be convicted. The evidence is overwhelming. So
- 11:25Speaker 1: that should be it. Kennedy Center Honors last night. It's
- 11:29Speaker 1: a great thing in Washington because here in New York
- 11:32Speaker 1: we got a million gallows. We got all sorts of
- 11:35Speaker 1: gallows every night of the week, we got all sorts
- 11:39Speaker 1: of awards, we got every there's a million things in here. Washington, DC.
- 11:43Speaker 1: They don't have a lot. There's really not much. There's
- 11:46Speaker 1: the Kennedy Center Honors that's like the one big galla
- 11:49Speaker 1: of the year. There's what they call the Alfalfa Dinner.
- 11:52Speaker 1: That's a big event down there. There's that White House
- 11:56Speaker 1: Correspondents Dinner. But that's about it. Very rarely today have
- 12:00Speaker 1: any excuse down there to get dressed up and go
- 12:03Speaker 1: to a big gallous. It's the biggest event in Washington
- 12:05Speaker 1: all year. I used to go to it every year
- 12:08Speaker 1: but stopped about ten years ago. But it was always
- 12:11Speaker 1: a great event. And when you go there, the Kennedy said.
- 12:14Speaker 1: The whole audience, the entire audience, are famous political people,
- 12:18Speaker 1: all the Senators, all the congressmen, all the cabinet, everybody.
- 12:22Speaker 1: And it's always four or five great honorees. A couple
- 12:25Speaker 1: are really big stars. A couple of people that aren't
- 12:28Speaker 1: such big stars to most people. You know, a classical musician,
- 12:31Speaker 1: a ballet, you know, that kind of stuff. But Trump
- 12:34Speaker 1: has taken over the Kennedy Center, put all his people
- 12:38Speaker 1: on the board. It used to be kind of left wing,
- 12:41Speaker 1: but then it got more and more and more and
- 12:43Speaker 1: more to the left. It was really partisan. Now it's not.
- 12:47Speaker 1: So you get real American heroes. You know, Sylvester Stallone,
- 12:50Speaker 1: And in the old days of Kenedy center'd be Laurence Olivier.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Now it's Sylvester Stallone. But that's good. And Trump, remember
- 12:58Speaker 1: loves Sylvester Stallone. They did a lot of stuff through
- 13:00Speaker 1: the years together, TV and other stuff. And the President
- 13:05Speaker 1: has a big ceremony in the Oval Office giving the
- 13:08Speaker 1: special medals, and then they go to the Kenny Center
- 13:11Speaker 1: and they do the big dinner. Here's President Trump and
- 13:12Speaker 1: it was Rambo. I knew nothing about it, but I
- 13:15Speaker 1: like sly so I said, let's go see it. After
- 13:17Speaker 1: about four minutes, they said, this movie is great. Yeah,
- 13:21Speaker 1: so hey. Also remember Trump became a big hit with
- 13:25Speaker 1: The Apprentice. It was the number one show in television,
- 13:27Speaker 1: so big that they decided to do spinoffs. Remember the
- 13:29Speaker 1: first spinoff of The Apprentice, Sylvester Stallone was the host. Yeah,
- 13:33Speaker 1: it didn't do well. There were fourteen Apprentice copies and
- 13:37Speaker 1: none of them did well. Only Trump's Michael Crawford Phanom
- 13:41Speaker 1: of the Opera. Donald Trump loves fan of the Opera.
- 13:44Speaker 1: You wouldn't think that, would you. You wouldn't think that'd
- 13:46Speaker 1: be his kind of ship. He loves it, loves the music,
- 13:48Speaker 1: loves Michael Crawford. He got the Kennedy Center Award. Well,
- 13:51Speaker 1: I don't think they're ever going to find anybody like you, Michael, Okay,
- 13:54Speaker 1: I know something about that business. I don't think they'll
- 13:56Speaker 1: find anybody like you. He was brilliant in the Phantom
- 14:00Speaker 1: of the Opera. He was amazing and Phantom of the Opera. However,
- 14:05Speaker 1: that's twenty eight years ago and he hasn't done much since.
- 14:07Speaker 1: I guess he has, But you know that's what he's
- 14:10Speaker 1: best known for. I mean musically, he's not. I remember
- 14:14Speaker 1: he's in Las Vegas for a while, one of those residencies.
- 14:17Speaker 1: But great to see him get it and big happy
- 14:21Speaker 1: crowd except for the left. Now, what they do They
- 14:25Speaker 1: do the Kennedy Centers on a Sunday night and then
- 14:27Speaker 1: they record it. It's a three or four hour deal
- 14:30Speaker 1: and then they chop it down to two hours for
- 14:32Speaker 1: a television special on CBS. That's been the routine for many,
- 14:36Speaker 1: many years. So it was last night they recorded it.
- 14:39Speaker 1: It will be seen December thirteenth on CBS, the edited version. Now,
- 14:44Speaker 1: this will be interesting. It gets pretty good ratings. But
- 14:47Speaker 1: of course the left wingers will not watch it. They'll
- 14:50Speaker 1: go crazy. But we'll see, we'll see how well it
- 14:52Speaker 1: does this year. Hey, we'll get to mom. Donnie coming up.
- 14:57Speaker 1: He's made the decision. He will give up his rent
- 15:00Speaker 1: controlled department. He will move into Gracy Mansion. Now, one
- 15:03Speaker 1: of the reasons is security told him that it's really
- 15:06Speaker 1: impossible for him to continue to live in an apartment
- 15:08Speaker 1: building in Astoria. There's a lot of security around him, mayor,
- 15:12Speaker 1: and they just it would be totally disruptive to the
- 15:16Speaker 1: apartment building. You know, when you're the mayor the governor. Generally,
- 15:19Speaker 1: you come into a building, they shut off the elevator.
- 15:22Speaker 1: You know, no one else is allowed in the elevator
- 15:24Speaker 1: except you and the security. So you can't do that
- 15:27Speaker 1: in an apartment building. Also, they'd have to check everybody
- 15:31Speaker 1: coming in and out all the time. You can't do it.
- 15:33Speaker 1: So he'll move into Gracy Mansion. Pretty good socialist. They're
- 15:39Speaker 1: living in a mansion, Gracy Mansion right on the water.
- 15:42Speaker 1: We'll get into this more detail later. He's got this
- 15:44Speaker 1: plan now to stop the sweeps of homeless people, the encampments.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Of course, this is a disaster. Eric Adams has been
- 15:53Speaker 1: doing a good job. You know, you may not have noted,
- 15:55Speaker 1: maybe you did notice you see very few homeless people
- 15:58Speaker 1: and you don't see any homeless camps anywhere. If he's
- 16:00Speaker 1: stating he's no longer going to implement a smart policy
- 16:05Speaker 1: on our part, New Yorkers are going to see the
- 16:08Speaker 1: repercussions of that. Yeah, so, well, well we'll get into
- 16:11Speaker 1: this and don't mam Donnie's ridiculous explanation why he seem
- 16:15Speaker 1: to do Hey, by the way, you know, you keep
- 16:16Speaker 1: everybody's leaving New York. That's it. Everybody's leaving. Everybody's people
- 16:21Speaker 1: are not leaving here. Actual statistics since the election. Real
- 16:27Speaker 1: estate sales have been booming since Mam Donnie got elected.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Since his election, eight hundred and sixty nine contracts have
- 16:34Speaker 1: been signed in New York City. That's a little down,
- 16:38Speaker 1: it's like down half a one percent, but it's pretty
- 16:40Speaker 1: close to last year. Eight hundred and sixty nine contracts
- 16:43Speaker 1: have been signed. Condo sales have been very strong since
- 16:46Speaker 1: the election. Luxury deals very strong. Forty one contracts signed
- 16:52Speaker 1: just last week. That's a lot. And you get on
- 16:55Speaker 1: these big real estate guys, the big, big, big geniuses
- 16:59Speaker 1: of real estate and banking. They know better, they see
- 17:02Speaker 1: the future. JP Morgan, you know, just open this massive,
- 17:07Speaker 1: massive new headquarters on Park Avenue. Ten thousand people can
- 17:11Speaker 1: work in that building. So you think, well, that show's confidence.
- 17:14Speaker 1: You know what shows even more confidence. Now I'm hearing
- 17:17Speaker 1: JP Morgan's going to do a second building a block
- 17:19Speaker 1: or two away. They need a whole other building, another
- 17:22Speaker 1: massive skyscraper they're going to do. And there's more examples
- 17:25Speaker 1: of this. So these guys think New York will be fine. Anyway.
- 17:28Speaker 1: We'll get back to Mom Donnie. We'll get to all
- 17:30Speaker 1: of that coming up, we'll take some calls. Next eight
- 17:32Speaker 1: hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten
