  Speaker 1: be able to speak through this mic and go through

  Speaker 1: the listeners' ears and be able to reach their hearts

  Speaker 1: and minds and be able to apply these verses to

  Speaker 1: their lives. In the Lord Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen.

  Speaker 2: So let's jump into the verse of the day.

  Speaker 1: If you would like to grab your Bibles and get

  Speaker 1: on your Bible lap, And read along as you hear along.

  Speaker 2: I highly encourage it to just soak in the word

  Speaker 1: So we're going to be on Jeremiah chapter 29 verse

  Speaker 1: 11 as the verse of the day.

  Speaker 2: And then kind of let the spirit and my spirit kind.

  Speaker 1: Of engage in what we can do to apply these

  Speaker 1: verses to our lives by breaking them down. And I

  Speaker 1: love being able to have the Bible app to be

  Speaker 1: able to change the version. I am used to King

  Speaker 1: James Version. But I love to be able to use

  Speaker 1: the easy reading version. It just works better for me.

  Speaker 1: And it also works better for anybody that's new to

  Speaker 1: accepting Jesus Christ. Or just curious to know what the

  Speaker 1: Bible really is all about. It's the basic instructions before

  Speaker 1: leaving earth. But it's also not only the best selling book.

  Speaker 1: But it gives you the insight from God's people. Including
• 1:30
  Speaker 1: Jesus with it being in.

  Speaker 2: A lot of the Bibles written and read.

  Speaker 1: Exactly to the almost extent to what he said. So

  Speaker 1: with Jeremiah chapter 29 verse 11. I the Lord tell

  Speaker 1: you this. I have decided what I will do for you.

  Speaker 1: I have plans to help you to do well. I

  Speaker 1: do not want to hurt you. I want to give

  Speaker 1: you hope for a good life.

  Speaker 1: It's almost like it's said more than once. I want

  Speaker 1: to give you hope for a good life. In the future.

  Speaker 1: We got to be able to meet him halfway. How

  Speaker 1: can we have a good life? If we don't talk

  Speaker 2: There's inventory, right, that we write. But what about we.

  Speaker 1: What kind of inventory are we giving God? What he's

  Speaker 1: already done for us. I'm no one that's. Perfect by

  Speaker 1: any means. And I'm one of those types of people.

  Speaker 1: That will make that clear. That I am no better.

  Speaker 2: Than anyone. But growing up. Being able to see. That.

  Speaker 2: before it all started, I had Jesus Christ.

  Speaker 1: That didn't mean that it made my life completely right

  Speaker 1: To the dark valleys of the alcoholism and the drug addiction.

  Speaker 2: Now the plans.

  Speaker 1: That the Lord has for me, He's already decided that

  Speaker 1: He's already decided. It doesn't say in this verse that

  Speaker 1: we decided and we sided with Jesus, right?

  Speaker 2: No.

  Speaker 1: We still want to have our plans that we make
• 4:16
  Speaker 1: that give us so much joy.

  Speaker 2: And I feel as if the Spirit is.

  Speaker 1: Trying to speak in a volume where I know that
• 4:26
  Speaker 1: I cannot ever.
• 4:29
  Speaker 2: Be someone saving grace.

  Speaker 1: But I can be the voice that you hear today
• 4:37
  Speaker 1: that changes your whole outcome.
• 4:40
  Speaker 2: And I don't want the credit for it. The Holy
• 4:44
  Speaker 2: Spirit is the one I boast. And that didn't just
• 4:51
  Speaker 2: come into comprehension right away.

  Speaker 1: Because me being also a stubborn recovering alcoholic, I was
• 5:01
  Speaker 1: also a.
• 5:02
  Speaker 2: Very firm believer for 20 years.

  Speaker 1: I say that because not only was I a believer
• 5:17
  Speaker 1: in Jesus Christ, I was also a believer in the devil.

  Speaker 1: I was also a believer in I was also a

  Speaker 1: believer in guilt and shame. Didn't know how to process grief.

  Speaker 2: Every time.

  Speaker 1: That I ran to the Lord, whether it was through worship,

  Speaker 1: whether it was through prayer, those nights I was a
• 5:51
  Speaker 1: drunken high.

  Speaker 2: Had nobody to talk to. but only Jesus Christ.

  Speaker 1: And having the Holy Spirit be there with me, whether
• 6:00
  Speaker 1: it was angels, whether it.
• 6:02
  Speaker 2: Was something that was deeper than that.
• 6:05
  Speaker 1: Having that Spirit that lives in me, nothing can rock me.

  Speaker 2: It can break me, but it can't crush me. And
• 6:19
  Speaker 2: that's because I have the Holy Spirit. Let me go
• 6:21
  Speaker 2: a little deeper. These plans....

  Speaker 1: After having gifts. Being misused. In such a way that.

  Speaker 1: It even sounds confusing. The amount of.

  Speaker 2: Ignorance. That we all obtain. When everything is going our way.

  Speaker 2: But it's. when things aren't going your way is when

  Speaker 2: you learn the most.

  Speaker 1: When the Spirit shows you the way out.

  Speaker 2: And you actually take it.

  Speaker 1: Consistently being with the Lord. Consistently understanding that it's a

  Speaker 1: surrender each and every day You're not going to always
• 7:31
  Speaker 1: get your way. You're going to see people leave. You're
• 7:36
  Speaker 1: going to see people come and go. Some of them
• 7:39
  Speaker 1: might come back, leave, come back, leave. And that's because
• 7:45
  Speaker 1: you carry something. You have a spirit of you and
• 7:50
  Speaker 1: then the Holy Spirit.

  Speaker 2: Makes me wonder. Makes me wonder. Why I didn't get
• 8:08
  Speaker 2: in line with God's plan.

  Speaker 1: A lot sooner. I do not have any regrets. I
• 8:14
  Speaker 1: got six minutes. I also want to kind of just vent.

  Speaker 1: But at this moment in time. There's a lot of things.

  Speaker 1: That are happening. That are trying to crush me.

  Speaker 2: And I can see.

  Speaker 1: The hand of God on me. No matter what anybody thinks.

  Speaker 1: No matter what anybody says. Whether I love them.

  Speaker 2: Hate them. Don't care for them. Care for them. Does
• 8:54
  Speaker 2: not matter. Because I am so. Connected. to the Holy

  Speaker 2: Spirit that my family is not here on this earth.
• 9:12
  Speaker 1: I have my earthly family with my brother and my
• 9:15
  Speaker 1: mother left. I have a few cousins, but we ain't close.

  Speaker 1: I like closeness. I like closeness. God wants our time
• 9:27
  Speaker 1: just like The way that I cling to people, the
• 9:31
  Speaker 1: way that I cling to my faith, the way that
• 9:33
  Speaker 1: I cling to Jesus is exactly what God wants from us.
• 9:38
  Speaker 2: So I show that. I demonstrate what God really wants
• 9:44
  Speaker 2: from you. You fell in love with the Spirit. We
• 9:53
  Speaker 2: all do. Because it's peaceful, it's warming.

  Speaker 1: But when you have that Spirit and you don't use
• 10:04
  Speaker 1: it correctly, and you don't see God's plan, it's because
• 10:18
  Speaker 1: you haven't let go of your own. You haven't surrendered
• 10:23
  Speaker 1: your will. And I know how it is to be
• 10:28
  Speaker 1: in that limbo. Of wanting to surrender. Wanting to be
• 10:33
  Speaker 1: in line with God's plan.

  Speaker 2: Because....
• 10:42
  Speaker 1: Not....
• 10:45
  Speaker 2: Because it's popular. But because... That it is a necessity
• 10:54
  Speaker 2: to get to heaven.
• 10:55
  Speaker 1: It's not getting baptized. It's not going to church. It's
• 11:05
  Speaker 1: not reading the Bible. It's having that relationship with Jesus Christ.

  Speaker 1: Allowing the Holy Spirit to come in and make what
• 11:13
  Speaker 1: is wrong right.
• 11:14
  Speaker 2: Right.
• 11:18
  Speaker 1: Sometimes swiftly, sometimes slowly. But I say that with a
• 11:23
  Speaker 1: smile on my face because people belittle me, people insult me,
• 11:28
  Speaker 1: people don't put any respect on the things that I
• 11:33
  Speaker 1: did for them. But they just call my shortcomings.
• 11:40
  Speaker 2: And they don't realize that all it does is put
• 11:45
  Speaker 2: a fire in me.
• 11:47
  Speaker 1: All it does is make me realize that I was
• 11:51
  Speaker 1: built for this.
• 11:51
  Speaker 2: I was built to take on people's demons.
• 11:57
  Speaker 1: Because there's been so many reasons why I could have
• 11:59
  Speaker 1: just given up.

  Speaker 2: I could have just said, you know what? I could
• 12:07
  Speaker 2: have took my life.
• 12:10
  Speaker 1: But because of Jesus Christ and dying to my flesh,
• 12:15
  Speaker 1: I have life. The message is the mission. It's that simple.

  Speaker 1: Once you were saved. You helped others. You helped others
• 12:32
  Speaker 1: get saved. Making it a priority. We're going to pause
• 12:42
  Speaker 1: for a second.
• 12:45
  Speaker 2: So having it be. God's plan. For me. To surrender.
• 12:55
  Speaker 2: And surrendering sounds so last resort, right?

  Speaker 1: But no matter what, no matter when, no matter how,
• 13:08
  Speaker 1: no matter what, you get it. And once you get it,
• 13:11
  Speaker 1: you don't forget it. When you know that God is
• 13:15
  Speaker 1: for you, no one can be against you. So you
• 13:20
  Speaker 1: want to increase, you want to increase that love For
• 13:27
  Speaker 1: something that's going to be able to not only just
• 13:31
  Speaker 1: reward you, but give you a sense of direction that
• 13:38
  Speaker 1: leads you to prosperity.
• 13:42
  Speaker 2: I know how it is to lose it all. Lose
• 13:47
  Speaker 2: the girlfriend. Lose the job. Be cheated on. Be forgotten.

  Speaker 1: Been spit on. Been beaten. Just like our dear friend Jesus.

  Speaker 1: And even though I have made best friends from companions,
• 14:10
  Speaker 1: this type of format of love and relation with Jesus
• 14:15
  Speaker 1: Christ is unmatchable. And no matter what I've gone through,
• 14:22
  Speaker 1: what I'm going through, And what I will go through
• 14:26
  Speaker 1: will crush me. It may dent me up. It may burn.
• 14:32
  Speaker 1: It may sting. It's not going to be a.
• 14:37
  Speaker 2: Loss anymore. Now that I am on the path of
• 14:41
  Speaker 2: following Jesus Christ. His plans are better. This is the
• 14:45
