- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome to Dirty Rush, The Truth about Sorority Life with
- 0:04Speaker 1: your hosts me Gia Judice.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Daisy Kent, and Jennifer Kessler.
- 0:11Speaker 3: Welcome back to part two of our most restricted, most
- 0:14Speaker 3: guarded episode yet.
- 0:15Speaker 4: So settle in.
- 0:16Speaker 3: You're about to hear the part of the story that
- 0:18Speaker 3: no one was ever supposed to talk about.
- 0:22Speaker 1: So for my sorority initiation, it was something that I
- 0:26Speaker 1: had never thought was a big deal at all. There
- 0:31Speaker 1: was nothing to prepare for. In my eyes, it was
- 0:34Speaker 1: just on the calendar, and we had no acceptable excuses
- 0:40Speaker 1: for missing this event. And I do know that some
- 0:43Speaker 1: people missed and nothing happened to them. When people on
- 0:48Speaker 1: the board of my sorority would speak about things being
- 0:51Speaker 1: unexcusable or you can't miss, it just.
- 0:56Speaker 4: Felt like life or death.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Like if you couldn't make initiation, you were not going.
- 0:59Speaker 4: To see the next day.
- 1:00Speaker 1: I don't know why, I think ever since being in
- 1:03Speaker 1: the sorority, I just it was really fun in bubbles
- 1:07Speaker 1: and butterflies, until at times it felt very culty, which
- 1:11Speaker 1: this initiation that I did is what really made me
- 1:16Speaker 1: feel like it was very culty. Being a part of
- 1:20Speaker 1: a sorority. I feel like the school and the SORTI
- 1:23Speaker 1: that I was in was very chill and relaxed and
- 1:28Speaker 1: didn't really have that strict of rules. But then, you know,
- 1:33Speaker 1: for this initiation, I was reminded that it was a
- 1:35Speaker 1: sorority and that there's you know, alumni and boards with
- 1:41Speaker 1: people that are in their later ages that still create
- 1:44Speaker 1: the rules for sorority. So it was just kind of
- 1:47Speaker 1: like a realization moment for me for sure about like
- 1:51Speaker 1: what it means to be in a sorority. So our
- 1:55Speaker 1: sorority initiation was on a Sunday, and I can't remember
- 2:00Speaker 1: remember the timing of it, but I do remember they
- 2:03Speaker 1: kind of gave us a list of things that we
- 2:05Speaker 1: couldn't do the night before. We weren't allowed to go out,
- 2:13Speaker 1: we were not allowed to go to the frat houses,
- 2:16Speaker 1: we were not allowed to go onto the campus bars.
- 2:20Speaker 1: So I think no one followed that because no one
- 2:24Speaker 1: really took it seriously, which ended up with some people
- 2:27Speaker 1: having a pretty bad hangover the next day. And so
- 2:32Speaker 1: essentially we were told to meet at the hotel of
- 2:35Speaker 1: the town that our college was at, which was very bizarre,
- 2:39Speaker 1: and we got there, we were instructed to wear nude
- 2:44Speaker 1: undergarments and no makeup, hair, down socks which completely sealed in,
- 2:52Speaker 1: like this is just weird. And so we arrived at
- 2:56Speaker 1: the hotel, which felt really bizarre because it was a
- 2:58Speaker 1: hotel that my family would day at for family weekend
- 3:04Speaker 1: or any time they came to visit. And we were
- 3:06Speaker 1: directed down to the basement of the hotel and it
- 3:09Speaker 1: was a pretty like old fashioned place, really cool, definitely
- 3:13Speaker 1: some ghost stories and people having weird stories from the
- 3:17Speaker 1: rooms of the hotel. So we go down to the
- 3:21Speaker 1: basement and it's just a room full of these white robes,
- 3:25Speaker 1: which I've talked to my friends at other schools and they,
- 3:29Speaker 1: you know, we were all kind of weirded out about it.
- 3:32Speaker 1: So we see all these robes, very weird, and then
- 3:36Speaker 1: we put them on and we were instructed by our
- 3:40Speaker 1: supervisors that we were not to speak once we arrived
- 3:43Speaker 1: into the basement, which I mean, we didn't really know
- 3:47Speaker 1: what we were doing. We were kind of just following hands.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Everyone was just shuffling around trying to be quiet. Everyone
- 3:51Speaker 1: was very hungover. And then we were led into this
- 3:54Speaker 1: dark room with candles and the older girls in our
- 3:59Speaker 1: surrority were singing and they they were standing in a
- 4:04Speaker 1: line waiting for us to walk in, so we all
- 4:07Speaker 1: sheepishly walked in and for the actual ceremony part, which
- 4:12Speaker 1: began with my president speaking in front of this designed,
- 4:20Speaker 1: this plastic designed looking arch with a book in her hand,
- 4:26Speaker 1: and to me, I remember it as gibberish. I'm not
- 4:28Speaker 1: sure if she was speaking English or Greek words, but
- 4:35Speaker 1: she was reading passages while the older girls were singing,
- 4:40Speaker 1: and I remember being really freaked out, kind of like
- 4:45Speaker 1: people were snickering around me. Everyone was kind of like
- 4:47Speaker 1: looking all around. And then something kind of unusual happened.
- 4:53Speaker 1: But a gal and my sorority had a service dog,
- 4:58Speaker 1: and her service dog was in there with us, and
- 5:01Speaker 1: the dog actually was a little bit freaked out for
- 5:05Speaker 1: some reason. I think it was on the younger side
- 5:08Speaker 1: of being a service animal. And a dog got out
- 5:12Speaker 1: of the collar and ran around the room and knocked
- 5:16Speaker 1: over a couple of the candles, and so all of
- 5:19Speaker 1: the girls had to stop singing and we had to,
- 5:23Speaker 1: you know, contain the fire that the cute service dog
- 5:27Speaker 1: wagged its tail on. So that was just kind of
- 5:30Speaker 1: like rattled things up and brought the ceremony back to
- 5:33Speaker 1: life that it was just a sorority and nothing too
- 5:37Speaker 1: coulty or crazy, but then finished, our bigs were seated
- 5:44Speaker 1: by us, which was cool, and then some people had
- 5:47Speaker 1: their moms in there, which I was like, Wow, everyone's
- 5:49Speaker 1: in on it. And then we finished. Everyone went outside
- 5:56Speaker 1: kind of gathered with my friends.
- 5:57Speaker 4: And we were all like, uh, during.
- 6:00Speaker 1: How much longer we were going to be a part
- 6:02Speaker 1: of sorority life? And then realized that the initiation part
- 6:06Speaker 1: was kind of the only thing that was bizarre, in
- 6:08Speaker 1: that being in a sorority can be fun, except being
- 6:13Speaker 1: initiated is so weird. So that's my initiation story.
- 6:33Speaker 5: I was rushing in twenty twenty during COVID at a
- 6:38Speaker 5: pretty big school, and so going into it, I knew
- 6:42Speaker 5: I wanted to rush because everything was enclosure and I
- 6:46Speaker 5: wanted to meet new friends and girls obviously, so I remember,
- 6:52Speaker 5: at least during the summer meet going into it, I
- 6:55Speaker 5: wasn't really like keeping up with what the top sororities were,
- 7:00Speaker 5: what their reps were. I kind of was just going
- 7:03Speaker 5: with the flow. But I remember over the summer, like
- 7:07Speaker 5: the top sorority like followed me on Instagram, and I
- 7:11Speaker 5: didn't really think much of it, and at least now
- 7:14Speaker 5: looking back, I know that's like definitely not what you're
- 7:16Speaker 5: supposed to do, Like you're not supposed to interact with
- 7:20Speaker 5: any of the p and ms, especially like before Rush.
- 7:24Speaker 4: So they started.
- 7:24Speaker 5: Following me, and they even like followed me on think
- 7:27Speaker 5: like Visco and that was like in my Instagram bio
- 7:30Speaker 5: at the time.
- 7:33Speaker 4: And so sign up for Rush.
- 7:35Speaker 5: Everything was like I said on Zoom during quarantine, which
- 7:39Speaker 5: in a way, looking back at it, I'm glad it
- 7:41Speaker 5: was that way because I don't think I could ever
- 7:43Speaker 5: do the twelve hours a day in heels and dresses.
- 7:46Speaker 5: But it was definitely interesting at least over Zoom did that.
- 7:51Speaker 5: And I remember like every time I would get called
- 7:56Speaker 5: back for said sorority that reached out to me on Instagram,
- 7:59Speaker 5: the President would always join the Zoom call, and.
- 8:04Speaker 4: That definitely like put me on edge.
- 8:07Speaker 5: For better or for worse, because if the president's listening
- 8:10Speaker 5: in on every time that you're joining the House, it
- 8:12Speaker 5: was clear that they wanted me to join. And so
- 8:16Speaker 5: I actually put said sorority as my second pref not
- 8:20Speaker 5: my first preth, and I got them, so I was
- 8:24Speaker 5: part of the sorority immediately. It was very forced, at
- 8:29Speaker 5: least with quarantine, it's kind of hard to make everything
- 8:34Speaker 5: feel natural and no one really knows what they're doing.
- 8:37Speaker 5: But I remember one of our first Sisterhood events was
- 8:40Speaker 5: like a sleepover, so we didn't actually sleepover, which was
- 8:47Speaker 5: very contradictory to the name, but what the sleepover entailed
- 8:52Speaker 5: was we all sat in a giant circle upstairs and
- 8:56Speaker 5: we passed around each to share a really traumatic story.
- 9:03Speaker 5: And this was part of the I guess bonding and cleep.
- 9:06Speaker 5: In mind, we don't know any of anyone else in
- 9:08Speaker 5: our pledge class because we don't get interactions at least
- 9:12Speaker 5: like outside of Zoom. I think this was one of
- 9:14Speaker 5: the first like in person events and everyone was passing
- 9:18Speaker 5: around this teddy bear and sharing like a really sad
- 9:21Speaker 5: story and it took like three hours. And after that,
- 9:24Speaker 5: I was like, I don't want to go to another
- 9:26Speaker 5: Sisterhood event. This was not only depressing, but don't really
- 9:31Speaker 5: feel any closer to anyone in my sorority whatsoever. So
- 9:36Speaker 5: I just didn't go. And my EXEC really did not
- 9:40Speaker 5: like that, which makes sense. My EXEC did not like
- 9:45Speaker 5: me because I didn't go to the sisterhood events or
- 9:47Speaker 5: the a lot of the exchange events. But This was
- 9:50Speaker 5: because also at the exchange events, we would sing.
- 9:55Speaker 4: Really really outrageous songs. I even have some of them.
- 10:00Speaker 4: I'm like saved.
- 10:01Speaker 5: I don't know if I can read them because it
- 10:03Speaker 5: does give away the name of the story. But we'd
- 10:07Speaker 5: seen these really raunchy songs essentially, and I was so
- 10:10Speaker 5: comfortable like singing the song, so it was basically like
- 10:13Speaker 5: I remember one of the lines was like it was
- 10:17Speaker 5: like me and put it in my mouth, like and
- 10:19Speaker 5: we had to stand there and like sing it in
- 10:21Speaker 5: front of all these frat guys. So I didn't go
- 10:23Speaker 5: to any of the exchanges or much of the SISTERED events,
- 10:27Speaker 5: and I remember when I would go to the chapter meetings,
- 10:29Speaker 5: the rules would be boobs or butt, not both. And
- 10:34Speaker 5: that's she's they're talking about. When you go to a party.
- 10:37Speaker 5: You can't show nothing, but you can't show both. So
- 10:40Speaker 5: some girls would choose to flaunt their boobs and the
- 10:43Speaker 5: other girls choose to flaunt their butt, but you can't
- 10:45Speaker 5: show both.
- 10:46Speaker 4: And immediately it just felt very.
- 10:50Speaker 5: Like sexualized and uncomfortable, and along with the fact that
- 10:55Speaker 5: I didn't know any of these girls, it was just
- 10:57Speaker 5: essentially like the exec board who ares a year or
- 11:00Speaker 5: two older that us, sparking at us, telling us what
- 11:03Speaker 5: to sing about our bodies and like what to where
- 11:06Speaker 5: to these parties. And I remember one of the even
- 11:09Speaker 5: first chapter events is we don't call them frat boys,
- 11:12Speaker 5: we call them fraternity men. Like it was correcting our
- 11:15Speaker 5: verbiage on like the smallest things. Okay, So our initiation
- 11:19Speaker 5: ceremony was over zoom, and I remember it was like
- 11:23Speaker 5: during I want to say, like winter or Thanksgiving break.
- 11:26Speaker 4: So I was at home doing this break this.
- 11:29Speaker 5: Zoom from my room from home, and at least during
- 11:34Speaker 5: the initiation, you know, you have the candles, you have
- 11:36Speaker 5: the robes. That was all on zoom, so I'm pretty
- 11:39Speaker 5: sure it was just like a candle background and just
- 11:42Speaker 5: pressing through slideshows. And this actually is helping me remember
- 11:46Speaker 5: what the pref and bid process was. It was through
- 11:52Speaker 5: an email and like it was just congrats confetti across
- 11:56Speaker 5: your screen. So it was very anti climactic and you
- 11:59Speaker 5: didn't like meet anyone that was I didn't know anyone
- 12:03Speaker 5: in my pledge class until come the next year when
- 12:06Speaker 5: we did recruitment and I was on the other end.
- 12:09Speaker 4: We had to.
- 12:10Speaker 5: Stalk every girl come up with a list of like
- 12:13Speaker 5: top ones, middle ones that we wanted to recruit for
- 12:19Speaker 5: the sorority over the summer. So that definitely coincides with
- 12:24Speaker 5: at least my experience coming in as a freshman over
- 12:27Speaker 5: the summer.
- 12:27Speaker 4: The sorority followed me, so they do. It's already like.
- 12:32Speaker 5: Curated, having a list of like their top choices, and
- 12:36Speaker 5: they would really go for girls like big following or
- 12:39Speaker 5: like girls that had a really good Instagram. It wasn't
- 12:43Speaker 5: necessarily based on like values obviously, because you can't really
- 12:48Speaker 5: depict someone's values from their Instagram.
- 12:49Speaker 4: So it was very materialistic and like two D in
- 12:56Speaker 4: a way.
- 12:56Speaker 5: It was very shallow, and I think that just goes
- 13:00Speaker 5: back to the fact that we all had to pass
- 13:01Speaker 5: around the stair until a sad story we could opt
- 13:05Speaker 5: to pass, but it there was literally like max five passes.
- 13:08Speaker 4: I'm pretty sure.
- 13:10Speaker 6: Okay, from what I remember of my initiation ceremony story,
- 13:14Speaker 6: it was a long time ago, but I remember we
- 13:20Speaker 6: spent the night at the sorority house. Kind of everybody
- 13:22Speaker 6: who was in the house left and so we were
- 13:26Speaker 6: all in rooms.
- 13:27Speaker 3: I remember.
- 13:30Speaker 6: Us being trying to be silly and like trying to
- 13:33Speaker 6: make pranes so they couldn't wake us up so early
- 13:35Speaker 6: because they were waking us up, but I think they
- 13:37Speaker 6: got rid of all the clocks so we couldn't see.
- 13:39Speaker 3: But I think it felt like four am we were
- 13:41Speaker 3: getting woken up at. And so we like set like
- 13:46Speaker 3: water cups all up the stairs, so like it took
- 13:48Speaker 3: the uh, the active members longer to get to us,
- 13:51Speaker 3: which didn't end up working out super well, but we
- 13:54Speaker 3: thought it was funny. Anyways, I remember waking up super early.
- 13:58Speaker 7: I think we all probably got an hour or two
- 14:00Speaker 7: of sleep, and so you just feel like you're in
- 14:05Speaker 7: a haze and have no idea what kind of what's
- 14:08Speaker 7: happening on they And this.
- 14:11Speaker 3: Is where I kind of remember some things. But I
- 14:13Speaker 3: remember putting on a robe kind of being either blindfolded
- 14:19Speaker 3: or my eyes were to close something.
- 14:21Speaker 6: And I went into a room and I'm joined a
- 14:26Speaker 6: sorority that I was a legacy at. So my older
- 14:29Speaker 6: sister was in the same sorority at the same school,
- 14:34Speaker 6: and so I remember just like opening my eyes to
- 14:37Speaker 6: her being there. She was super emotional and I kind
- 14:41Speaker 6: of was just like, what is happening? Like this is
- 14:44Speaker 6: almost a little like creepy say it on seat, like
- 14:47Speaker 6: what is happening.
- 14:48Speaker 3: I was just like, had no idea.
- 14:50Speaker 6: I didn't know she was going to be there, but
- 14:51Speaker 6: also being off black of sleep and I'm a contagious crier,
- 14:54Speaker 6: so I saw her crying, so I started crying, and
- 14:58Speaker 6: I was just like there was so much which I
- 15:01Speaker 6: didn't understand at the time, just very like all these
- 15:04Speaker 6: like rituals and things being said that I just was like,
- 15:06Speaker 6: I don't know what's happening.
- 15:09Speaker 4: Later leave that room.
- 15:11Speaker 6: So at that point it was just me and anybody
- 15:13Speaker 6: else who was a legacy. So there was a small
- 15:15Speaker 6: group of people in this one room being revealed with
- 15:19Speaker 6: whoever their legacy was or family member that was a
- 15:22Speaker 6: part of the same sorority, and then later being brought
- 15:27Speaker 6: into a different room that was much bigger, where my
- 15:30Speaker 6: big sister was.
- 15:33Speaker 4: And this is where things aren't super clear. It just
- 15:35Speaker 4: was like really dark.
- 15:36Speaker 6: Everyone was in robes, and I don't even remember the
- 15:40Speaker 6: traditional things that happened. I remember my big being behind me,
- 15:45Speaker 6: and then my blood sister, who i'm a legacy of,
- 15:49Speaker 6: being behind her.
- 15:52Speaker 3: To initiate us. But the one thing I actually really
- 15:56Speaker 3: remember the most from this is that college game Day
- 16:00Speaker 3: from ESPN was at our school this week this week.
- 16:03Speaker 6: For our big football game, and all of our friends
- 16:06Speaker 6: were going at like five am to stand out for
- 16:09Speaker 6: college game day, and we could not go.
- 16:11Speaker 4: Because it was initiation.
- 16:12Speaker 6: So I just honestly remember wanting it to be over
- 16:16Speaker 6: so that I could go get dressed and go to
- 16:18Speaker 6: the football game and be with all the friends partying
- 16:21Speaker 6: for college game day. So looking back now, I'm like,
- 16:26Speaker 6: I wish I would have thought a little bit more
- 16:28Speaker 6: of it as sentimental, but I was just ready for
- 16:31Speaker 6: a good time, and so it was emotional, especially I
- 16:34Speaker 6: think more so because my sister was there and she
- 16:40Speaker 6: was just so happy and excited that I had chosen
- 16:43Speaker 6: the exact same house that she had gone through, And
- 16:46Speaker 6: that honestly was like the most memorable and biggest surprise
- 16:48Speaker 6: to me because I did not know she was going
- 16:50Speaker 6: to be there, so that was super special to have
- 16:52Speaker 6: that with her.
- 16:55Speaker 3: And then I mean, I don't remember.
- 16:57Speaker 4: I think we all just like after that is ritual.
- 17:01Speaker 6: Things happened that I cannot for the life of me remember.
- 17:04Speaker 6: For some reason, I think we were just so tired.
- 17:06Speaker 6: I was like, let's get to this football game, and.
- 17:09Speaker 3: Me and so many of my initiation class at that
- 17:12Speaker 3: point just left or like went and got ready together
- 17:15Speaker 3: and went to the game. And so it was really
- 17:18Speaker 3: fun and it had memorable parts, but it was also
- 17:20Speaker 3: a little I don't want to say creepy, but it
- 17:23Speaker 3: was a little creepy and kind of trying to be like,
- 17:27Speaker 3: what is this.
- 17:28Speaker 4: It's so early, where are we?
- 17:30Speaker 3: So it was a lot of emotions all over the place.
- 17:32Speaker 4: I remember that I was in a sorority.
- 17:50Speaker 8: I had a choice. There were five sororities in my college,
- 17:56Speaker 8: and for me, it was between two, but I decided
- 18:01Speaker 8: just to pick one and I matched there, so that
- 18:07Speaker 8: was my choice, and so I was called a suicide bid,
- 18:13Speaker 8: where you just pick one. If you don't get in
- 18:15Speaker 8: that one, you're not on authority. So I just picked one,
- 18:19Speaker 8: really excited about it, and we had a really beautiful
- 18:25Speaker 8: mascot that I really loved and appreciated, just the sweet
- 18:31Speaker 8: girls that I was with the initiation. The main thing
- 18:34Speaker 8: I remember is we walked in. We had candles. It's
- 18:38Speaker 8: kind of candles that you hold with a little thing
- 18:41Speaker 8: under it, and we had white robes and walked into
- 18:46Speaker 8: a dark room with just some candles around the sides
- 18:52Speaker 8: and very quiet, very solemn, like a ritual, and then
- 19:03Speaker 8: we all went into a circle, and we had our
- 19:07Speaker 8: pledge moms behind us, so they were like supporting us,
- 19:11Speaker 8: holding you know, holding holding on to us in the
- 19:15Speaker 8: circle in the dark with our candles. And then they
- 19:24Speaker 8: all started singing around us because they were all around
- 19:26Speaker 8: us too, so we felt really safe in this room.
- 19:31Speaker 8: And they all sang the song, the main song, which
- 19:34Speaker 8: was for this sorority, and then the president of authority started
- 19:41Speaker 8: speaking about the importance of getting together and the importance
- 19:46Speaker 8: of our group, and importance of our sorority, and that
- 19:51Speaker 8: we were basically in this, you know, for our lives,
- 19:54Speaker 8: and it just it meant a lot to me. I
- 19:57Speaker 8: don't remember a lot of the details because it was
- 20:00Speaker 8: so long ago. It was in the nineteen seventies, so
- 20:02Speaker 8: it was years and years ago, and I've had a
- 20:04Speaker 8: whole life since then and a whole career and family.
- 20:08Speaker 8: But I do remember the solemnness of it and the importance,
- 20:12Speaker 8: and I did feel like this was something I was
- 20:14Speaker 8: going to do for my life, that this was a
- 20:17Speaker 8: group of women that I was going to be with
- 20:21Speaker 8: for my life.
- 20:22Speaker 4: And so I'm.
- 20:24Speaker 8: Still in my alumni group. We still have meetings, and
- 20:29Speaker 8: it has continued to be an important thing, not just
- 20:32Speaker 8: the one thing, but an important part of my life
- 20:35Speaker 8: and at my school, because I was in a department
- 20:39Speaker 8: that was more creative, I was the only person that
- 20:44Speaker 8: was even interested in being in a sorority. My roommates
- 20:48Speaker 8: were not in sororities. They used to just kind of
- 20:51Speaker 8: joke with me about that I wanted to do it,
- 20:54Speaker 8: and I knew I wanted to do it. There wasn't
- 20:55Speaker 8: going to be anything that was going to stop me
- 20:57Speaker 8: from being in this group because I wanted to have
- 20:59Speaker 8: a full college experience. And so once we went through
- 21:05Speaker 8: the initiation, and once we ended that beautiful circle and
- 21:10Speaker 8: we sang the songs, and it was just joining a sisterhood,
- 21:14Speaker 8: a sisterhood that for me has lasted my whole life.
- 21:18Speaker 8: With different women and we've all been through the same
- 21:20Speaker 8: experience together. We all know our ritual, we all know
- 21:25Speaker 8: the reason that we're in this group and the beginnings
- 21:28Speaker 8: of the of the sorority and the importance of sisterhood
- 21:32Speaker 8: and being supportive of each other.
- 21:38Speaker 9: So what I do remember is they locked us all
- 21:42Speaker 9: in a basement, all of the pledges and a basement.
- 21:45Speaker 9: It was like an overnight thing, and we had to
- 21:47Speaker 9: take a quiz on like the history of our sorority,
- 21:51Speaker 9: and we couldn't come out of the basement until we
- 21:55Speaker 9: passed the test. And then I remember the initiation was
- 22:01Speaker 9: just like a full like all overnight thing. And then
- 22:08Speaker 9: in the morning they we came upstairs and like all
- 22:15Speaker 9: of the you know, like the sorty sisters were dressed
- 22:20Speaker 9: in like all these like white like long gowns, but
- 22:23Speaker 9: they weren't like dresses, they were like sheets almost. It
- 22:26Speaker 9: was kind of strange, and we had to go in
- 22:30Speaker 9: three at a time to this room and then they
- 22:34Speaker 9: closed the door once everybody was in, and you sat
- 22:37Speaker 9: like face to face with your big wound up being
- 22:42Speaker 9: your big siss. I remember we kneeled face to face
- 22:46Speaker 9: and there was a bunch of like Latin kind of
- 22:51Speaker 9: like chanting things like songy sort of chance, and then
- 22:57Speaker 9: the president got up and spoke and gave us the password,
- 23:04Speaker 9: and then we learned the handshake, and then we kind
- 23:08Speaker 9: of like it was very somber and serious, and then
- 23:12Speaker 9: we all filed out after that, and then I really
- 23:16Speaker 9: don't remember much else after that. I also think it
- 23:20Speaker 9: was a long night, so I was probably tired.
- 23:23Speaker 2: There you have it. Forget the theories, rumors, and speculation.
- 23:27Speaker 2: You now know what really happens when a pledge officially
- 23:30Speaker 2: joins the Sisterhood.
- 23:31Speaker 1: If you have a.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Story to share, let us know and we will ensure
- 23:34Speaker 2: you remain anonymous until next time. This is dirty rush.
