Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: It's week three in the NBA, and the election day
- 0:06Speaker 1: gave us a break from the games so we can
- 0:09Speaker 1: prep and go back to the drawing board and get
- 0:12Speaker 1: some doves.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Look, today I got some names for.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Y'all to help y'all get a dove.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Let's get it. Whoa, what's going on? It's your boy T-Will.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Welcome back to the Hustle Sports Fantasy Podcast.
- 0:38Speaker 2: It's the basketball episode.
- 0:40Speaker 1: We're in week three of the 2026-2027 season.
- 0:43Speaker 2: As you already know, we are here to get a dub.
- 0:48Speaker 1: This episode is about staying locked in, being a manager
- 0:53Speaker 1: that can get you to the championship. The championship run
- 0:57Speaker 1: does not start in February, March, or April.
- 1:00Speaker 2: It starts right now. Look, tonight I'm breaking.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Down what I learned over the last week.
- 1:07Speaker 2: I got one takeaway, just one. Got the hustler's pickup.
- 1:11Speaker 1: That's the waiver-wide gems, the scoop, the waiver-wide scoop. The
- 1:17Speaker 1: in-the-zone trade target pick, hustler's energy lock pick of the
- 1:22Speaker 1: week where I throw away the key.
- 1:24Speaker 2: I'm locking the lock. I'm done with it.
- 1:26Speaker 1: I'm guaranteeing that this guy is going to have a crazy,
- 1:30Speaker 1: crazy week. And then before we get up out of here,
- 1:34Speaker 1: I got a fantasy community debate, questions I find online.
- 1:38Speaker 2: To help you get better.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Just a deep conversation, decision-making skills to help you manage
- 1:46Speaker 1: your team in the right way so you can get
- 1:49Speaker 1: a dub.
- 1:50Speaker 2: As you know, as always, it's numbers over narratives, baby.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Let's get to it. Look, what I learned last week, hey,
- 1:57Speaker 2: these injuries come out of nowhere.
- 2:00Speaker 1: I'm telling you, opportunity pop up out of nowhere, bro.
- 2:05Speaker 1: I feel like after, you know, who was that? Jaron
- 2:10Speaker 1: Jackson got announced. Then it was like Jai. Then it
- 2:13Speaker 1: was Chet. Like, bro, we saw like four or five
- 2:15Speaker 1: names in like a two-day span of people who was hurt.
- 2:19Speaker 1: And they might not be out for the year, but
- 2:21Speaker 1: they gonna be out, you know, for a significant amount
- 2:24Speaker 1: of time, a month, two months. Like, that's a long
- 2:26Speaker 1: time in basketball. That's a long time in sports and fantasy.
- 2:29Speaker 1: And look, opportunities can change overnight. So with those opportunities
- 2:35Speaker 1: that's changed, look, we looking for usage, efficiency, repeatability. We
- 2:41Speaker 1: don't want the one hit acquitter, the one hit wonder.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Don't get me wrong, that's cool. Shout out to them
- 2:46Speaker 1: guys that do that on the pro level. But from
- 2:49Speaker 1: fantasy perspective, we're looking for the guy that can carry
- 2:53Speaker 1: the squad to the mountaintop, baby. Look, here are some
- 2:58Speaker 1: names Based on an opportunity change. Like that's my one
- 3:01Speaker 1: takeaway of last week. Opportunities can change overnight. They can
- 3:06Speaker 1: pop up out of nowhere. Look, and with those changes
- 3:09Speaker 1: in opportunities, here's the hustlers pick up, waiver wise scoop.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Here's the first name I got on there. See, most
- 3:16Speaker 1: of these people on this list right here are streamers.
- 3:19Speaker 1: These people I like to go grab, use them for,
- 3:22Speaker 1: you know, I don't want to say use. Have them
- 3:24Speaker 1: on the team for however long I need them to.
- 3:27Speaker 2: To help me get a dub.
- 3:28Speaker 1: As always, I appreciate your services. First up, I got
- 3:32Speaker 1: Colin Gillespie from the Phoenix Suns. Look at his numbers
- 3:36Speaker 1: right here. Not crazy, right? That's why I say we
- 3:40Speaker 1: don't chase the name, we chase the role. Look, opportunity
- 3:43Speaker 1: always beat reputation, and Colin Gillespie, opportunity is solid, and
- 3:48Speaker 1: it's been solid for a while. He's 37% rostered in
- 3:51Speaker 1: ESPN leagues, 26 minutes a night, averaging two made threes
- 3:56Speaker 1: a game, 7.8 points, as you see here, five assists,
- 4:00Speaker 1: two rebounds.
- 4:01Speaker 2: But what I like is the 2.8 steals.
- 4:04Speaker 1: If you're in a points league, that is almost 12
- 4:08Speaker 1: points any given night because he's closer to three than
- 4:11Speaker 1: he is two. So that's almost 12 points that he's
- 4:14Speaker 1: getting you in ESPN leagues. And for my category of players,
- 4:17Speaker 1: look at the numbers. You need help in that steals category. 2.8
- 4:22Speaker 1: is great.
- 4:24Speaker 2: It is great.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Look, he got a back-to-back tonight and tomorrow. He has
- 4:28Speaker 1: three games remaining for the rest of the week. So
- 4:30Speaker 1: he got a busy schedule from tonight until the weekend.
- 4:33Speaker 1: So Colin Gillespie is a name that you can go grab.
- 4:37Speaker 1: You can stream him and get you a Doug. Next up,
- 4:41Speaker 1: Zaire Williams from the Los Angeles Lakers. 3.9% roster. So
- 4:46Speaker 1: he is widely available. He's coded as a small forward
- 4:50Speaker 1: and a shooting guard. So there's multiple positions.
- 4:53Speaker 2: That you can get opportunity in. 10.8 points a game.
- 4:56Speaker 1: 2.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Not lovely, right?
- 5:01Speaker 1: He had the guard wing position. Here's another guy, what
- 5:04Speaker 1: I like. 1.4 steals a game. Three games remaining this week.
- 5:09Speaker 1: So Zyre Williams is a name that you could definitely
- 5:12Speaker 1: benefit from. And look at that free throw percentage. From
- 5:14Speaker 1: my category, guys, look at that free throw percentage. 85.7%.
- 5:19Speaker 1: He is great at the line. Now, I ain't going
- 5:23Speaker 1: to lie. I ain't too keen on the 62.5% of
- 5:25Speaker 1: games played. But what that tells me is he may
- 5:29Speaker 1: be a short-term stream, but that don't matter.
- 5:32Speaker 2: You know what I mean? It ain't that it don't matter.
- 5:36Speaker 1: It's the fact that you can still benefit from using
- 5:39Speaker 1: Zaire Williams.
- 5:40Speaker 2: In your lineup.
- 5:42Speaker 1: From the Los Angeles Lakers, Zaire Williams. Next up, man,
- 5:47Speaker 1: Max Struess. Now, look, I know he got a reputation
- 5:50Speaker 1: that people are really high up on him, especially with
- 5:54Speaker 1: what he did on that finals run.
- 5:56Speaker 2: For Miami a few years back.
- 5:59Speaker 1: But right now, 2026, 2027, he's 2.7% rostered. He's from
- 6:06Speaker 1: the Clippers. He's coded as a small forward only, but
- 6:09Speaker 1: he's averaging 11 points, four rebounds, six assists, three threes
- 6:14Speaker 1: in 23 minutes. Now, he only got one game under
- 6:16Speaker 1: his belt this season so far, but I'm going to
- 6:18Speaker 1: be honest. He can replicate any of that. Going forward, 11-4-6. Hey,
- 6:24Speaker 1: this might be a stream to stay guy. 3-3 is
- 6:27Speaker 1: a game, too. A stream to stay guy. But he
- 6:30Speaker 1: only has two games remaining this week. So not a
- 6:33Speaker 1: crazy busy week for the Clippers. They got a game tonight.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Tonight is November 4th, Wednesday. And they play again later
- 6:40Speaker 1: on this weekend. So it's all good, though, because two
- 6:43Speaker 1: games is enough for you to stream a guy and
- 6:45Speaker 1: get a dub. You only need one chance to get him.
- 6:47Speaker 1: So don't let that scare you. Yeah, it ain't lovely.
- 6:51Speaker 2: A lot of work.
- 6:52Speaker 1: But it's work, and that's what you're looking for, the work.
- 6:55Speaker 1: I got his teammate up here, too, Derrick White Jr. Oh,
- 6:58Speaker 1: Derrick White Jr. Look at me making players up. Derrick
- 7:02Speaker 1: Jones Jr. from the Los Angeles Clippers as well. He's
- 7:07Speaker 1: coded as a small forward, power forward. He is 11.1% roster.
- 7:13Speaker 1: As you see here, he's averaging 26 fantasy points a game.
- 7:16Speaker 1: So he's having a decent season already out the gate.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Hey, look, former Mav, where we at? Oh, yep, here
- 7:22Speaker 2: we go. Former Mav.
- 7:25Speaker 1: He helped us go to the finals in 2024. I
- 7:27Speaker 1: wish we would have re-signed him, too. But, hey, Dan
- 7:29Speaker 1: Jones Jr., bro, he's a baller.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Like, he does what needs to be done. He do
- 7:35Speaker 2: what he need to do.
- 7:36Speaker 1: 11.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.23 is a game.
- 7:41Speaker 2: And, again, here's another guy who get 1.2 steals.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Here are guys who can help you not only scoring,
- 7:48Speaker 1: you know, a little bit of rebounding, but they– are
- 7:50Speaker 1: decent on the defensive end when it comes to steals.
- 7:53Speaker 1: So my category watchers, I hope y'all paying attention because
- 7:57Speaker 1: here are some guys that's giving you help in other
- 7:59Speaker 1: categories aside from scoring.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Take note of that.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Look, and then he's 85.7% of games played. So he's,
- 8:06Speaker 1: so far this year, he's been reliable. He's been reliable.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Don't get it twisted. You could definitely stream DJ Jay
- 8:13Speaker 1: and get you a dub this week. Next up, man,
- 8:17Speaker 1: Mo Bamba from... The Utah Jazz.
- 8:20Speaker 2: This is crazy.
- 8:21Speaker 1: He's a vet's vet now. It's insane that he's made
- 8:24Speaker 1: it around as long as he did. Look, from the Jazz, 3.2% roster,
- 8:29Speaker 1: 9 points a game, 5.8 rebounds, 1.8 blocks. Here's a
- 8:35Speaker 1: guy from my category of watchers out there. Here's a
- 8:38Speaker 1: block guy. And then he's doing that in 18 and
- 8:40Speaker 1: a half minutes. Now, he only got four appearances out
- 8:43Speaker 1: of games, which is why his games played is 57%.
- 8:44Speaker 2: But, It's better than half, right?
- 8:48Speaker 1: It ain't like he missed a bunch of games because
- 8:50Speaker 1: I know y'all saw Max Struess had 14% of games played.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Point of the matter is three games remaining this week.
- 9:00Speaker 1: He has a lot of opportunity on the schedule for
- 9:03Speaker 1: the rest of this week for the Jazz, including an
- 9:05Speaker 1: NBA Cup matchup with my Mavs later on this week.
- 9:08Speaker 1: And I think that's a good opportunity to get him,
- 9:10Speaker 1: you know, try to get some usage out of him.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Jaron Jackson Jr. is out at least until mid-December. With
- 9:17Speaker 1: a torn MCL, hey, prayers up to JJJ2, Triple J.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Make sure you get held to big dog. Prayers up.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Good. Close to 100% as possible.
- 9:26Speaker 1: But look, Mo Bamba, remember earlier, the takeaway for the week,
- 9:32Speaker 1: opportunities can change overnight, and Mo Bamba is one of
- 9:36Speaker 1: the players that's the epitome of opportunities changing overnight because
- 9:40Speaker 1: that Triple J injury, to me, came out of nowhere,
- 9:43Speaker 1: and he's been able to benefit from that. So, Mo
- 9:46Speaker 1: Bamba is a name that you can plug, throw in
- 9:48Speaker 1: the lineup. Look at that true shooting percentage. Free throw percentage, decent.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Getting blocks, nine points, 5.8 rebounds. So you can trust
- 9:56Speaker 1: Mo Bamba to be in your lineup to help get
- 9:59Speaker 1: you a dub. Miles Turner from the Milwaukee Bucks, 47.7% roster. Look,
- 10:08Speaker 1: I spoke about him on the Believe in Fantasy channel too,
- 10:10Speaker 1: the collaboration I do with them. Hey, make sure y'all
- 10:13Speaker 1: check that out as well. But I spoke about him
- 10:16Speaker 1: for my nine category guys. This is for my points guys,
- 10:19Speaker 1: but The point still remains for the category, guys.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Look, 2.9 blocks is insane, bro. Insane.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Almost three blocks a game. 1.13 is a game. Eight points.
- 10:33Speaker 2: 5.1 rebounds.
- 10:34Speaker 1: 2.1 assists. But you ain't grabbing Miles Turner for assists anyway.
- 10:39Speaker 1: And he's doing that in 26.7.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Minutes a game.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Look, 100% of the eligible games, he is available.
- 10:48Speaker 2: He has played.
- 10:50Speaker 1: In 100% of Milwaukee's games this year so far, I
- 10:53Speaker 1: know the season is young. I know the sample size
- 10:56Speaker 1: is small, but that number is still important. And as
- 10:59Speaker 1: the season go on, that number is going to become
- 11:03Speaker 1: more and more important.
- 11:05Speaker 2: So don't sleep on that. Look, three games remaining this week.
- 11:08Speaker 1: It's a lot of opportunity on the forefront for Miles Turner.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Don't sleep on him. Stream the big fella.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Get you some dubs, because as always, if you've been
- 11:18Speaker 1: tapped in with me, you already know we are here.
- 11:23Speaker 2: To get a dub. Let's get it. Hey, this is
- 11:28Speaker 2: my diamond in the rough, though, for the week.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Diamond in the rough is Jalen Wells from the Memphis Grizzlies.
- 11:36Speaker 1: He's coded as a small forward and shooting guard, so
- 11:39Speaker 1: you got multiple positions that you could play him in.
- 11:41Speaker 2: 13.4% roster. Excuse me real quick, though, because I ain't
- 11:46Speaker 2: going to lie.
- 11:49Speaker 1: It gets a little tough up here. These lights get bright.
- 11:55Speaker 2: 13.4% roster.
- 11:57Speaker 1: He's averaging 12.7 points, 3.6 rebounds. I know y'all can
- 12:01Speaker 1: see it on the screen, but I'm still going to
- 12:03Speaker 1: talk my noise. 1.1 steals, two threes a game in
- 12:08Speaker 1: 28 minutes.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Bro, he getting major burns.
- 12:12Speaker 1: He getting major burn. Memphis only has two games remaining
- 12:15Speaker 1: the rest of this week. Hey, don't forget, though, Friday
- 12:17Speaker 1: is NBA Cup action, so a lot of teams going
- 12:19Speaker 1: to be in play come Friday. But look, the reason
- 12:23Speaker 1: Jalen Wells is a stream to stay candidate for me
- 12:28Speaker 1: is the 1.1 steals, the two threes, and the 28 minutes.
- 12:33Speaker 1: I get it, the points, the double figures, but those
- 12:36Speaker 1: three stats, to me, lets me know the coach trusts
- 12:39Speaker 1: him a lot, especially with them 28 minutes. So He
- 12:42Speaker 1: is a stream-to-state candidate, especially with the rumblings I'm hearing
- 12:46Speaker 1: about Ty Jerome could be on the trade block. Not
- 12:49Speaker 1: because Memphis want to get off of him because, you know, playoff.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Contenders, especially a team like Phoenix.
- 12:56Speaker 1: There's rumblings that Phoenix are frustrated because they don't have
- 12:58Speaker 1: a point guard.
- 13:00Speaker 2: And, hey, Ty Jerome may be a good name for him.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Who knows?
- 13:03Speaker 1: So that is my diamond in the rough, Jalen Wells
- 13:07Speaker 1: from the Memphis Grizzlies.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Hey, you heard it here first.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Make sure y'all check him out because he is a
- 13:13Speaker 1: stream-to-state candidate, and I'm.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Calling that right now.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Now, earlier I spoke about the in-the-zone trade target. Here
- 13:24Speaker 1: is my in-the-zone trade target.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Look. Miles Bridges. Look at the numbers, dog. Look at
- 13:33Speaker 2: the numbers, bro.
- 13:35Speaker 1: He give you the most bang for your buck because
- 13:37Speaker 1: I believe Let's say you're a Levine manager. Like, I
- 13:43Speaker 1: would ship Levine for Miles Bridges right now. Not now,
- 13:47Speaker 1: but right now. The reason why, look, 17 points, 7.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Rebounds, right?
- 13:53Speaker 1: And he's, look at those assist numbers. He's getting you
- 13:58Speaker 1: almost 3 assists.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Not crazy.
- 14:00Speaker 1: You ain't getting him to get assists. But look, true
- 14:03Speaker 1: shooting percent is decent. But here's what I love about
- 14:07Speaker 1: Miles Bridges. He is a stock specialist for my category
- 14:13Speaker 1: of players out there.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Look at that. Look at that. 1.4 steals, bro.
- 14:18Speaker 1: 1.4 steals, one block. I said almost three assists. It
- 14:23Speaker 1: was actually 2.4, so he's less than two and a half.
- 14:25Speaker 1: So we ain't looking for him to be a playmaker, right?
- 14:28Speaker 1: But he getting 33 minutes a game. He's a stock specialist. 1.4 steals,
- 14:34Speaker 1: one block. Also making 1.8 threes a game, and he's
- 14:37Speaker 1: doing that in 33 minutes. His stat line could look
- 14:41Speaker 1: like this for the rest of the season. And if
- 14:44Speaker 1: you don't go trade for him, you're going to be
- 14:46Speaker 1: sick because you're going to be like, dang, I could
- 14:47Speaker 1: have went. Especially if you got somebody you ain't really
- 14:51Speaker 1: a fan of and you really trying to get off
- 14:54Speaker 1: of him.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Here is a name for you to go get. Miles Bridges.
- 15:00Speaker 1: And I think the cost that it's going to take
- 15:02Speaker 1: to get Miles Bridges shouldn't be high.
- 15:04Speaker 2: People overvalue him. And that just shows the kind of
- 15:08Speaker 2: managers that's in your league. Don't get me wrong.
- 15:12Speaker 1: You don't want to get fleeced because if you've been
- 15:14Speaker 1: tapped in, never overspend. That's always been my thing. The
- 15:17Speaker 1: whole off season, draft, trades, I don't care what it is,
- 15:20Speaker 1: never overspend. So look, Miles Bridges is an affordable name
- 15:26Speaker 1: that you can go get out there on the trade
- 15:28Speaker 1: market to help you get a dub. That was my
- 15:33Speaker 1: in the zone trade target, right? Here is my hustler's energy.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Lock pick of the week. You see the Mavs sign
- 15:42Speaker 1: back there. I had to be biased for the first one.
- 15:45Speaker 1: My dog, Cooper Flagg.
- 15:49Speaker 2: Look at this dog. And I ain't going to lie
- 15:50Speaker 2: to you. Don't get me wrong. Don't get me wrong.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Because I was one of the main ones in the
- 15:54Speaker 1: offseason saying I didn't want to spend the first on Cooper.
- 15:57Speaker 1: I still stand by that, though. I still stand by that.
- 16:00Speaker 1: But look at this dog.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Look at this. 25, 5.7 rebounds, 6.5 assists.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Two and a half steals, one block. Bro is a superstar.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Bro is a superstar, dog. Don't get it twisted. Bro
- 16:21Speaker 1: is a superstar. Three games remaining this week. One versus
- 16:25Speaker 1: the Spurs. The reason why I highlight that, hey, if
- 16:27Speaker 1: you a Mavs fan, you hate the Spurs.
- 16:29Speaker 2: We respect them. We hate them.
- 16:32Speaker 1: I lived in San Antonio for years, too. And that
- 16:35Speaker 1: made me hate the Spurs even more because, gosh, And
- 16:39Speaker 1: you know what? You can't even say nothing, right? Because
- 16:41Speaker 1: they won so much. And at the time I was
- 16:43Speaker 1: out there, they had just won the one in 14. Listen,
- 16:48Speaker 1: the Spurs fans, it's just like Cowboy fans, right? The
- 16:51Speaker 1: fans make you hate them. At least with the Spurs,
- 16:53Speaker 1: they won, right? But anyway, you a Mavs fan, you
- 16:58Speaker 1: about hate the Spurs like me. Respect them, but definitely
- 17:02Speaker 1: don't mess with them. But Victor Wimbyano, Victor Wimbyama, was
- 17:09Speaker 1: player of the week in week two. I think that's
- 17:11Speaker 1: extra motivation for Cooper Flagg because he was one of
- 17:14Speaker 1: the finalists for player of the week last week for
- 17:17Speaker 1: week two. Also, I told you about the NBA Cup
- 17:20Speaker 1: game versus the Jazz when I spoke about Mo Bamba.
- 17:23Speaker 1: And then we got the Nets on the weekend, right?
- 17:27Speaker 1: Those are three opportunities for Cooper Flagg to go crazy.
- 17:31Speaker 1: One against the Spurs. That's always a heated matchup. One
- 17:34Speaker 1: against the Nets, his teammate, and his fellow Duke alum.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Kyrie Irving, always, hey, you always want to get some
- 17:42Speaker 1: get back. Always want to get some get back.
- 17:45Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 17:46Speaker 1: So, you know, the three games this week, great opportunity
- 17:51Speaker 1: for the young bull. I love what he's done so
- 17:54Speaker 1: far in the season. 85% of his games played.
- 17:59Speaker 2: 88.9% from the line. You got Cooper flagged.
- 18:02Speaker 1: You was one of the ones that was willing to
- 18:04Speaker 1: risk that first round pick on Cooper. Kudos to you.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Salute to you. Look, this ain't about no hype. This
- 18:12Speaker 1: ain't about no just, you know, hopium. Never smoke hopium.
- 18:15Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? We are intentional about everything.
- 18:21Speaker 1: My in the zone, my hustler's energy, lock pick of
- 18:24Speaker 1: the week. Definitely had to go with the young boy. Look,
- 18:26Speaker 1: here we go.
- 18:28Speaker 2: MFFL, baby.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Look, before we get up out here, let's close out
- 18:31Speaker 1: with the fantasy community debate. We close the show with
- 18:34Speaker 1: a question, bold question. Anything I see online, Before I
- 18:38Speaker 1: go into that, make sure y'all tap in with me.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Go hit me on X at Hustle Sportsnet, Instagram, Facebook.
- 18:56Speaker 1: The fantasy community debate question for this episode. We in
- 19:00Speaker 1: the middle of week three. Yesterday was election day. It
- 19:03Speaker 1: gave us a break to go back to the drawing
- 19:05Speaker 1: board to prep. Now, Look, if you 0-2, what.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Do you do? You 1-1, what do you do? If
- 19:12Speaker 2: you 2-0, what do you do? Right?
- 19:14Speaker 1: That question is, how long are you holding on to
- 19:21Speaker 1: an underperforming draft pick?
- 19:26Speaker 2: Options are A, stay patient. It's only week three. B,
- 19:31Speaker 2: make the move.
- 19:33Speaker 1: The minutes usage and production ain't there.
- 19:35Speaker 2: You're moving on. C, Depends on the player.
- 19:39Speaker 1: You gotta evaluate the role, opportunity, and underlying numbers before
- 19:43Speaker 1: making a decision. Me, I'm going C, right? For me,
- 19:49Speaker 1: because again, here's week three. I'm one of the ones, bro,
- 19:55Speaker 1: like I keep saying, like I've said plenty of times before,
- 20:00Speaker 1: unless that E is by your name, you are good.
- 20:03Speaker 2: So I'm going to be cool. You know what I mean?
- 20:06Speaker 2: I'm going to always keep it cool.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Keep a level head and try to plan ahead and
- 20:10Speaker 1: try to get better and trying to get a dub. Like,
- 20:14Speaker 1: but I will say this though, right? Cause in 20
- 20:18Speaker 1: weeks or 19 weeks of the season, 19, 20 weeks
- 20:22Speaker 1: of the season, it does come a break or break
- 20:25Speaker 1: point for me.
- 20:28Speaker 2: At week three that we ain't there yet. We ain't
- 20:30Speaker 2: there yet.
- 20:31Speaker 1: I've been getting questions about Boozellas. I've seen a lot
- 20:34Speaker 1: of frustrated managers about Boozellas. Uh, It ain't looking good.
- 20:38Speaker 1: I ain't going to lie. I mentioned him as a
- 20:40Speaker 1: buy low on the episode, but it's actually gotten worse
- 20:45Speaker 1: since that buy low. I still going to stand firm
- 20:47Speaker 1: on that right now in week three, but I will
- 20:49Speaker 1: say this, stay tapped in. But the perfect example of
- 20:53Speaker 1: this question is Trey Murphy from the Pelicans. Last season,
- 20:57Speaker 1: he was a 21-point scorer. He come in this season,
- 21:00Speaker 1: 14 a game. He don't look the same. See, but
- 21:04Speaker 1: with that, I would stay patient on it. Because think
- 21:07Speaker 1: about it. Well, obviously you should trade the underperformer. You
- 21:10Speaker 1: should never just drop them. Unless they're just absolutely horrific, right?
- 21:18Speaker 1: You know, but at the end of the day, Trey
- 21:21Speaker 1: Murphy is one of those players I think you got
- 21:24Speaker 1: to try to take away and see approach at least for.
- 21:25Speaker 2: A little bit, right? We in week three.
- 21:28Speaker 1: It ain't long enough yet to drop and panic drop
- 21:33Speaker 1: and just pivot already. You're only three games in. Don't
- 21:37Speaker 1: ever give up that quick. You gotta see things through.
- 21:40Speaker 1: So that's my take on it. I'm going with C,
- 21:43Speaker 1: evaluate it. You know what I'm saying? Stay patient.
- 21:46Speaker 2: But don't be scared to make the move either.
- 21:49Speaker 1: But don't just make a move for the sake of
- 21:51Speaker 1: feeling good like you a GM because you just want
- 21:53Speaker 1: to make a move. Make sure the numbers line up.
- 21:55Speaker 1: As you know, numbers over narrative. So make sure the
- 21:57Speaker 1: numbers line up on what it is that you want
- 22:00Speaker 1: to do. That was Bennett on the Fantasy Community Debate.
- 22:03Speaker 1: I want to go back and touch on something. I
- 22:05Speaker 1: said I hate the Spurs. I want to be clear.
- 22:08Speaker 1: That's competition talking. I don't hate anybody. I don't want
- 22:12Speaker 1: to spread hate ever.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Right.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Never want to spread hate. I always love. But I
- 22:18Speaker 1: strongly dislike the Spurs. I go with that one. Strongly
- 22:22Speaker 1: dislike them. But we don't hate nobody. We got to
- 22:24Speaker 1: keep it pushing. But that's been it. On this episode,
