Evening — July 26 — Psalm 97:12
Rejoice in the LORD, you righteous ones, and praise His holy name. — Psalm 97:12
This call to rejoice is not conditional on comfortable circumstances but grounded in the unchanging character of God, specifically His holiness. The righteous can rejoice because the holy God has made them righteous in Christ, setting them apart for Himself. Praise is not a duty to fulfill but the natural overflow of a heart that remembers whose you are and who He is.
