- 0:25Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:30Speaker 1: with us inside the Treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley along with
- 0:34Speaker 1: Trey Trentholm and Raj Sharma on Thursday December twelfth, twenty
- 0:43Speaker 1: twenty four. I am excited for two reasons today. One
- 0:47Speaker 1: because it is the day before Friday and those are
- 0:51Speaker 1: always good days in the Treehouse. But I'm also excited
- 0:56Speaker 1: for today's show because we get to talk talk about
- 1:00Speaker 1: two things in the same segment that don't typically go together.
- 1:07Speaker 1: I am a huge fan of conflict and juxtaposition, things
- 1:13Speaker 1: that don't necessarily go together coming together. And you guys
- 1:19Speaker 1: know me, I typically choose my words very carefully.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Mm hmmm.
- 1:25Speaker 1: As if you needed another example of that, I'm about
- 1:27Speaker 1: to give you a big one. Are you, gentlemen, familiar
- 1:31Speaker 1: with the young lady who calls herself Sophie Rain?
- 1:37Speaker 3: No?
- 1:39Speaker 1: All right, well, chances are one of you is lying,
- 1:44Speaker 1: although of the three of us, it makes sense that
- 1:47Speaker 1: I'd be the one that knows that Sophie Rain is
- 1:49Speaker 1: an only fans model.
- 1:52Speaker 2: I mean, you probably network with your only dans s, right.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Gotta you have to, You have to collab these days.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Got a collapse.
- 2:04Speaker 1: The reason I know who Sophie Rain is isn't just
- 2:08Speaker 1: because she's an only fans model. I know who Sophie Rain,
- 2:13Speaker 1: the only fans model is because I follow the news.
- 2:17Speaker 2: She is the model. It's true.
- 2:20Speaker 4: Shut watch it for the you, watch it for the articles.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Google alert.
- 2:29Speaker 1: I do not have her on Google alerts. I do
- 2:32Speaker 1: not have I've never even watched anything on only fans.
- 2:39Speaker 1: I know who she is because her name has been
- 2:41Speaker 1: in the news for a while the first time. I'm
- 2:45Speaker 1: not even gonna bother denying you anymore. It's just it's
- 2:47Speaker 1: I don't okay, so shut up. I'm just just across
- 2:50Speaker 1: the board denial. Just consider me like a White House
- 2:52Speaker 1: press secretary. I'm not answering your questions anymore, you idiot.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Do see from Fox News she is the only fans
- 3:02Speaker 1: model that made headlines recently because in one year, she
- 3:07Speaker 1: has raked in forty three million dollars. Actually I may
- 3:10Speaker 1: have that number incorrect. I think it's no, it is correct,
- 3:13Speaker 1: forty three million dollars. She has made more money than
- 3:16Speaker 1: a number of professional athletes just by running an only
- 3:21Speaker 1: fans account. Pretty impressive. And then just the other day
- 3:25Speaker 1: we talked about her because she has one client in
- 3:30Speaker 1: particular that has gifted her four point seven million dollars.
- 3:36Speaker 1: That's just from one guy.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Wow.
- 3:38Speaker 1: And the reason we know this is because she'll occasionally,
- 3:41Speaker 1: I guess, do Twitch streams, so things that are not
- 3:46Speaker 1: adult content. She'll just do regular safe for work stuff
- 3:52Speaker 1: I guess, and talk to people I don't know. Again,
- 3:54Speaker 1: I don't know because I never seen it. But in
- 3:56Speaker 1: one of her videos she posted thinking specifically one of
- 4:02Speaker 1: her benefactors, Sugar Daddy whatever, for gifting her, you know,
- 4:08Speaker 1: nearly five million dollars just by himself. But that's not
- 4:14Speaker 1: where the story ends, because again, I like to have
- 4:16Speaker 1: the juxtaposition, right, I like the two things coming together
- 4:18Speaker 1: that don't necessarily go together. Turns out, Sophie Rain, the
- 4:22Speaker 1: millionaire OnlyFans model, is also a very devout.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Christian Okay yeah.
- 4:28Speaker 1: And she says that to her, her OnlyFans content does
- 4:32Speaker 1: not conflict with Christian values. She says, the Lord's very forgiving.
- 4:39Speaker 1: I just wonder if the Lord is one of the
- 4:42Speaker 1: handles of one of her Sugar Daddy's on OnlyFans, or
- 4:46Speaker 1: if one of her members actually goes by the name
- 4:50Speaker 1: Jesus just to make her feel better.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Oh she's Catholic. You know.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Since I don't know much about her, I'm going to
- 5:03Speaker 1: consider that a possibility as well. Thank you, tre At
- 5:06Speaker 1: just twenty years old, Sophie Rain is making a life
- 5:09Speaker 1: changing yearly income of over forty three million dollars. I
- 5:13Speaker 1: can't even process that, but I guess her bank account can.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Despite what some Despite what some may be quick to judge,
- 5:22Speaker 1: she is not ashamed to say she's turned the massive
- 5:24Speaker 1: profit by posting revealing and sometimes explicit content on her
- 5:28Speaker 1: OnlyFans page. The online model recently made headlines after sharing
- 5:32Speaker 1: her year over year income on x formerly Twitter. Thankful
- 5:37Speaker 1: is the word she put to the matter, and she's
- 5:39Speaker 1: not been afraid to take on any doubtful replies. She says,
- 5:42Speaker 1: you can call me whatever you want. She wrote that
- 5:45Speaker 1: in response to a post debating whether or not people
- 5:47Speaker 1: should consider her a model. She says, I will be
- 5:50Speaker 1: laughing my way to the bank. She's not wrong there
- 5:54Speaker 1: the Floridians indifferent to hate isn't just affront, she raises
- 5:58Speaker 1: on social media. Speaking of People Magazine exclusively, the internet
- 6:03Speaker 1: celebrity says negative notes hardly did her her from posting
- 6:06Speaker 1: behind a paywall for for her millions of followers. Instead,
- 6:10Speaker 1: it energizes her to keep pulling together the content.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Pretty see what she looks like. You got a phone?
- 6:20Speaker 2: Look it up?
- 6:22Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I don't want to. I don't want to
- 6:23Speaker 4: do that. Oh you want her to.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Be a trail. I'll look it up later. She's kind
- 6:32Speaker 2: of has uh I mean, she got big cans and uh.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Yeah, she's not the prettiest woman you've ever seen, but
- 6:45Speaker 1: she's she's certainly not ugly. Here you go, raj, I'll
- 6:47Speaker 1: show you a photo over there you go.
- 6:49Speaker 2: That's her.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Okay, brown hair, brown eyes, I guess, kind of exotic
- 6:53Speaker 1: ish looking, little nose ring. Like try said, she's got
- 6:56Speaker 1: big boobs. No, no shocker there and if she got.
- 7:00Speaker 2: See where she pulls off the schoolgirl thing, Yeah, gotcha.
- 7:05Speaker 1: So that's her.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Good Yeah, good for her.
- 7:11Speaker 1: But again she doesn't think that this, any of this
- 7:13Speaker 1: conflicts with her Christian values. Pretty interesting, right.
- 7:18Speaker 2: I'd be. You know, it's one of those things I
- 7:20Speaker 2: would be fascinated to learn. Like you said, there's one
- 7:24Speaker 2: guy who's given her what four point seven million? Yep.
- 7:29Speaker 2: It's like I have known dancers that would tell me
- 7:33Speaker 2: that they May they would make more. They had people
- 7:36Speaker 2: guys that would like set appointments, weekly appointments with them,
- 7:42Speaker 2: and it was just to go in there and talk
- 7:43Speaker 2: like they would just sit there and talk for two hours.
- 7:45Speaker 2: They didn't get dances, they didn't do anything. And that's
- 7:47Speaker 2: where they made thousands a week. Is just like talking
- 7:52Speaker 2: and you know what, I just being friendly.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Yeah, and it it's even amazing. I saw a headline
- 8:01Speaker 1: somewhere that said, Stephen A. Smith, somebody likes to throw
- 8:04Speaker 1: this mouth around places that you wish you wouldn't. But somehow,
- 8:10Speaker 1: but for some reason, he commented on this situation and
- 8:14Speaker 1: he said something about, you know that one benefactor. It's like, well,
- 8:17Speaker 1: that must be the horniest man. That must be the
- 8:21Speaker 1: horniest man in America. If he's donating, you know, four
- 8:24Speaker 1: point seven million, it's like, the dude ain't horny. You
- 8:26Speaker 1: know what that is. That's a guy giving a girl
- 8:29Speaker 1: almost five million dollars because he likes talking to her,
- 8:32Speaker 1: and she doesn't. She's not a bitch to it. He
- 8:36Speaker 1: spent four point seven million dollars because she she she's
- 8:39Speaker 1: pretty and she talks nice to him. That's why. But
- 8:43Speaker 1: in the story she even says that her current lifestyle
- 8:45Speaker 1: strikes a noteworthy're a noteworthy contrast against her background. She
- 8:49Speaker 1: says she grew up poor, her family struggled throughout her
- 8:51Speaker 1: childhood and often got by on food stamps. Her parents
- 8:54Speaker 1: are also devout Christians, and she attends and she attended
- 8:59Speaker 1: church with them every Sunday, and she says that has
- 9:02Speaker 1: not faded from her life. Her Christianity remains a substantial
- 9:04Speaker 1: part of her identity. She says she still checks in
- 9:07Speaker 1: on her home church in Tampa, Florida when they stream
- 9:09Speaker 1: online services. She doesn't see any conflict between her work
- 9:15Speaker 1: creating adult entertainment and her religious devotion by saying, Lord's
- 9:19Speaker 1: very forgiving and he put me on here. He put
- 9:22Speaker 1: me on earth for a reason, and I'm just living
- 9:24Speaker 1: every day. If this wasn't meant for me, I wouldn't
- 9:27Speaker 1: be here right now.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Well, that is impressive, to say the least. It really is.
- 9:37Speaker 1: She's basically saying, look, if you're a devout Christian and
- 9:41Speaker 1: you disagree with what I'm doing, blame Jesus. She's a genius.
- 9:45Speaker 4: I mean, yeah, I think all the televangelists say the
- 9:47Speaker 4: same thing, so I mean she's no different than them,
- 9:50Speaker 4: and they make millions.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Oh no, she's far different from them. She's not you know,
- 9:54Speaker 2: she's not offering forgiveness or you know, a free pathway
- 9:59Speaker 2: to God. She's just making the money. I mean that's
- 10:01Speaker 2: I mean, she's actually something good with it. God bless
- 10:04Speaker 2: her because she'll be retired by twenty one. Yeah, I
- 10:09Speaker 2: mean she can retire now.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Now, I mean, there's one guy who's given her nearly
- 10:14Speaker 1: five million dollars that sure wishes.
- 10:16Speaker 2: She wouldn't unless he lets to slap a ring on it.
- 10:24Speaker 1: I would imagine that that would be a distinct possibility.
- 10:26Speaker 1: I think, if you're giving someone that amount of money,
- 10:28Speaker 1: I can't imagine the type of expectations that come along
- 10:31Speaker 1: with that.
- 10:33Speaker 4: I can't imagine how much money he has if he
- 10:36Speaker 4: can just part with five million like.
- 10:38Speaker 1: That, I think the keyword you're missing, the keyword you
- 10:44Speaker 1: should be using Raj has had because it wouldn't surprise me.
- 10:48Speaker 1: It wouldn't surprise me that that was basically all his money.
- 10:52Speaker 1: He sold, his house, sold, his business sold, maybe he
- 10:55Speaker 1: sold a couple of kids or something.
- 10:56Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 11:01Speaker 4: That would be a just just to be nice, just
- 11:04Speaker 4: to be nice to them, that's a that's amazing.
- 11:06Speaker 2: We're in the wrong business. Not for long.

- 12:16Speaker 7: best way I can always say that is just back
- 12:19Speaker 7: it up, back it up. When I was growing up
- 12:21Speaker 7: and I told somebody who's gonna kick their ass.
- 12:23Speaker 2: You got to back it up.

- 14:12Speaker 2: Show Inside the Treehouse.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Speaking of we are inside the Treehouse. I'm Dan along
- 14:18Speaker 1: with Trey and Raj and the other day we were
- 14:22Speaker 1: talking about Alex Jones and how a court in Connecticut
- 14:28Speaker 1: has ruled an appeals court in Connecticut has ruled that
- 14:31Speaker 1: he still is on the hook to pay Sandy Hook
- 14:35Speaker 1: Families about a billion dollars from the defamation suit from
- 14:40Speaker 1: all the lives and stuff that he spouted through his
- 14:43Speaker 1: Info Wars website and radio show. And Trey, you brought
- 14:48Speaker 1: up something that I was super excited about, and that
- 14:54Speaker 1: was the Onion was looking to buy Info Wars out
- 14:58Speaker 1: of bankruptcy.
- 14:59Speaker 2: I think they did.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Well because you said it out loud. My phone heard it,
- 15:05Speaker 1: and my phone heard it and showed me a news
- 15:07Speaker 1: story this morning. Unfortunately, it's sad news and that is
- 15:13Speaker 1: the Onion's bid for info Wars has been rejected in
- 15:17Speaker 1: bankruptcy court.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Oh, they may just have to go back and offer more.
- 15:22Speaker 2: The bankruptcy court may have determined that it was worth
- 15:24Speaker 2: more than whatever they were offering.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Okay, now I have hope again because I was feeling
- 15:33Speaker 1: and now I'm feeling. Thank you for that tray.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Well, it's I can't fathom that there are a lot
- 15:44Speaker 2: of bidders for his sight because it's so tainted. Uh yeah,
- 15:51Speaker 2: and so yeah, who knows what I imagine the Onion
- 15:55Speaker 2: was offering a penny on the dollar type stuff, so sure,
- 16:00Speaker 2: you know, And then then it comes as what's it
- 16:02Speaker 2: worth to them? Because to me, I mean, it would
- 16:05Speaker 2: just I think their subscribers and their views would go
- 16:09Speaker 2: through the roof if they could start posting under info Wars.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Oh yeah. The Onions deal to buy info Wars has unraveled,
- 16:18Speaker 1: leaving the fate of the conspiracy website up in the air.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Judge Christopher Lopez of the US Bankruptcy Court in Houston
- 16:25Speaker 1: ruled on Tuesday that the trustee charged with auctioning off
- 16:29Speaker 1: the assets of info Wars parent company did not maximize
- 16:32Speaker 1: value for creditors when he accepted the bid from the
- 16:35Speaker 1: Onion's owner. The Onion's owner, by the way, is Global Tetrahedron.
- 16:43Speaker 1: According to the judge, it's clear the trustee left a
- 16:45Speaker 1: lot of money on the table, or potential for a
- 16:47Speaker 1: lot of money on the table, potential for a lot
- 16:49Speaker 1: of negotiation on the table. The judge also declined to
- 16:54Speaker 1: accept the runner up bid from First United American Companies,
- 16:58Speaker 1: a business entity associated with a new online shop owned
- 17:02Speaker 1: by Alex Jones. The judge instructed the bankruptcy trustee to
- 17:06Speaker 1: decide on the next step, advising him to consider negotiating
- 17:10Speaker 1: with creditors, including the family members of Sandy Hook shooting
- 17:13Speaker 1: victims who Jones defamed. So it's interesting there, because you're right,
- 17:19Speaker 1: trade just sounds like if they just offer more money,
- 17:21Speaker 1: the judge would be cool, fine with me. Or you
- 17:24Speaker 1: have one like some of these Sandy Hook families, you know,
- 17:28Speaker 1: somehow acquired, then they can sell it to the Onion.
- 17:30Speaker 2: Well, no, they're the they're the creditor. And it also
- 17:34Speaker 2: it may very well be that they just think they're
- 17:37Speaker 2: going to get more money than they are actually going
- 17:39Speaker 2: to get, and they're holding out for that, and give
- 17:44Speaker 2: it another month or two, and the Onion's bid may
- 17:47Speaker 2: all of a sudden be like, Okay, well that's the
- 17:49Speaker 2: best we're gonna do.
- 17:50Speaker 5: Uh.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Sometimes these you know, this stuff just takes time. Interesting.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Well, I'm in not, not that anyone's asked me, And
- 17:59Speaker 1: it's not like I get didn't he say? But if
- 18:01Speaker 1: I did, I'd be all about it? Yeah, because it
- 18:06Speaker 1: really is. It's one of those times it's like, well,
- 18:07Speaker 1: this actually makes sense because one website made up stuff
- 18:12Speaker 1: for a living and it's and it wants to be
- 18:14Speaker 1: acquired by another website that makes up stuff for a living.
- 18:17Speaker 1: The difference is one of them's honest about it.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, it's funny. I after we had that discussion, y'all,
- 18:27Speaker 2: Remember where what Alex Jones like kind of what promoted
- 18:32Speaker 2: like propelled him to a next level? I'd really forgotten about.
- 18:35Speaker 1: This was wash uh an appearance on Pierce Morgan.
- 18:41Speaker 2: No, it was Charlie Sheen. Remember when Charlie Sheen was
- 18:46Speaker 2: losing his damn mind.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Yeah, the Tiger Blood era. Yeah, I remember that very
- 18:50Speaker 1: very well.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Yep, And he wouldn't. So he went on Alex Jones
- 18:54Speaker 2: and you know, just unloaded. And that's where a lot
- 19:01Speaker 2: of people, you know, we're like, oh, and then I
- 19:05Speaker 2: just got him more, more views, more subscribers, and more
- 19:10Speaker 2: a bigger platform to spout off his insanity.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Yeah, it turns it's it's kind of frightening to think
- 19:16Speaker 1: that in a room of Alex Jones and Charlie Sheen.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Charlie Sheen was the sane one.
- 19:27Speaker 5: House. Let me go keep.
- 19:34Speaker 3: Skin.
- 19:37Speaker 6: You're in the Treehouse. Visit us online at treehouseonair dot com.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Let's get Jaqueline from Brooks Plumbing into the Treehouse now.
- 20:14Speaker 1: For any and all of your plumbing wants and needs,
- 20:16Speaker 1: give her and all of them. They're a call to
- 20:19Speaker 1: one fourth three six eight thirty eight thirty eight the
- 20:21Speaker 1: website Brooks Plumbing Texas dot com. When I had my
- 20:24Speaker 1: house in Dallas, Jacqueline, you came out a few times
- 20:27Speaker 1: to help us with some issues, and your response time
- 20:31Speaker 1: was phenomenal.
- 20:32Speaker 2: And it wasn't just because it was me.
- 20:33Speaker 1: It was because that's the kind of company you run,
- 20:36Speaker 1: you go out of your way trying to help every
- 20:38Speaker 1: client and try to get there as soon as you can.
- 20:40Speaker 8: Well, I mean the reality of it is is that
- 20:43Speaker 8: plumbing is unfortunately a need and not so much a want. Yes,
- 20:47Speaker 8: you can want to remodel the bathroom and that's not pressing,
- 20:50Speaker 8: but typically when it comes to service or leak investigations,
- 20:54Speaker 8: et cetera, et cetera. If you've got to stoppage on
- 20:57Speaker 8: the mainline and you don't know and you keep putting
- 21:01Speaker 8: liquid or you know, waste into the drains, if it
- 21:06Speaker 8: has nowhere to go, we'll come back in the house.
- 21:08Speaker 8: And at that point in time, it's no longer a want,
- 21:11Speaker 8: it's a need, and that sort of thing can't wait.
- 21:15Speaker 8: When you have those emergencies, you have got to figure
- 21:18Speaker 8: out how to manage the crew so that you can
- 21:20Speaker 8: have the best response time.
- 21:22Speaker 1: That's right, and they'll show up and they'll do it quickly.

- 22:17Speaker 2: How much I love movies.
- 22:19Speaker 1: And uh, and Trey and Raj obviously questioned my taste
- 22:25Speaker 1: in film.
- 22:27Speaker 2: It's not no, we're not questioning. It's determined, right.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Okay, So Trey and Raj are damning my taste in film.
- 22:38Speaker 1: But look, it's not all bad movies that I like.
- 22:40Speaker 1: I actually like good movies. Honestly, I really enjoy the
- 22:44Speaker 1: good ones the most, just the bad ones. The bad
- 22:47Speaker 1: ones are just really you know, they're so bad they're funny.
- 22:52Speaker 1: But when I go to a movie theater, I like
- 22:55Speaker 1: to make sure that I'm not wasting my time. So
- 23:00Speaker 1: when I take time and go to a movie theater
- 23:02Speaker 1: to see a movie, I have high expectations because it's money,
- 23:06Speaker 1: it's time gonna go and sit someplace. But it's also
- 23:10Speaker 1: a gamble because that means other people may show up
- 23:15Speaker 1: in that theater. And while I love a bad movie,
- 23:20Speaker 1: I hate bad movie goers. I hate him with a passion.
- 23:25Speaker 1: And just the other day, Tara and I went and
- 23:29Speaker 1: saw Gladiator two. Went to the theater to go see
- 23:32Speaker 1: Gladiator two, and we experienced not only a subpar film,
- 23:37Speaker 1: but probably worse than the movie. Was one of the
- 23:41Speaker 1: worst movie goers I have ever experienced. And I saw
- 23:45Speaker 1: lots a lot of people. There's been a lot of
- 23:48Speaker 1: as moviegoers in my life. This guy is definitely the
- 23:54Speaker 1: most recent. And maybe it's that recency bias speaking, but
- 23:58Speaker 1: I think he's the worst.
- 23:58Speaker 2: So here's what happened.
- 24:00Speaker 1: First of all, have you guys seen Gladiator two? Did
- 24:04Speaker 1: you see Gladiator one?
- 24:06Speaker 2: Of course? And you love Gladiator one? Right, yeah, yeah, okay,
- 24:12Speaker 2: I've I've yet to see anything anything really positive about
- 24:19Speaker 2: Gladiator two. I would say I've seen middle of the
- 24:21Speaker 2: road to poor reviews, which you know fits, Yeah, you're
- 24:26Speaker 2: you're pantheon of movies.
- 24:29Speaker 1: No no Ice, Pirates, that's a bad movie, so bad
- 24:36Speaker 1: that it's good, right, and Gladiator too. While dealing with
- 24:41Speaker 1: some similar genre Types was supposed to be good and
- 24:44Speaker 1: it's not. So my my, uh my advice to you treys,
- 24:47Speaker 1: don't can go see Gladiator Too. If you really want,
- 24:50Speaker 1: you can wait for it to come out on streaming.
- 24:52Speaker 1: But the worst thing in that theater wasn't Gladiator Too,
- 24:55Speaker 1: was a guy that walked in near the end of
- 24:58Speaker 1: the movie. So this is another reason why I think
- 25:01Speaker 1: this guy may be the worst moviegoer I have ever
- 25:04Speaker 1: experienced so a guy. So at this point, just safety
- 25:10Speaker 1: from a safety standpoint, anytime someone walks into a dark
- 25:14Speaker 1: movie theater, I pay attention right trying to keep my
- 25:19Speaker 1: awareness high. Even if I wasn't doing that, there was
- 25:25Speaker 1: no ignoring this guy because he not only walks into
- 25:27Speaker 1: the dark movie theater, but then he does what a
- 25:31Speaker 1: lot of people do these days, that is, turns on
- 25:34Speaker 1: his flashlight app on his cell phone. So now the
- 25:37Speaker 1: entire theater is illuminated and is aware of his presence.
- 25:43Speaker 1: And he can't just hold it pointed towards the floor
- 25:47Speaker 1: to see where he's going. He's got to hold it
- 25:49Speaker 1: up and shine it in front of the entire audience,
- 25:53Speaker 1: so we all get to be blinded by his stupid
- 25:55Speaker 1: phone near the end of this film that I've committed
- 25:59Speaker 1: to to at this point, and now we're in the
- 26:03Speaker 1: climax of the film, and that's when this d bag
- 26:05Speaker 1: walks in with his phone light on full blast. And
- 26:09Speaker 1: that's not all. He makes his way up to his seat,
- 26:14Speaker 1: which he finds because of his bright ass flashlight, and
- 26:18Speaker 1: he sits down, which is of course making noise, and
- 26:22Speaker 1: is on the row right in front of me. Then
- 26:25Speaker 1: he proceeds to eat popcorn louder than anyone ever has
- 26:28Speaker 1: in the history of time. Remember Jaws, not the shark,
- 26:33Speaker 1: but Jaws from the Bond movie with the steel teeth.
- 26:35Speaker 1: That's what this guy sounded like when he was eating popcorn.
- 26:44Speaker 1: And then that's when the smell came. It's not often
- 26:50Speaker 1: that someone wears so much cologne or perfume that it
- 26:56Speaker 1: wants to knock you over when you're already seated, But
- 26:59Speaker 1: that pretty much happened to me the other day. And
- 27:02Speaker 1: it wasn't a pleasant scent. That was just too much
- 27:05Speaker 1: of it. It wasn't like he was It's not like
- 27:06Speaker 1: he just took a bath and drunk her in the water. No, No,
- 27:09Speaker 1: it's like he took a bath in some type of
- 27:13Speaker 1: really off brand toilet spray and just coated his entire
- 27:24Speaker 1: body in some really terrible smelling glade. That's what this
- 27:28Speaker 1: guy smelled like. So he's loud, he's stinky, and he's bright.
- 27:34Speaker 1: I really think he may have been the worst movie,
- 27:36Speaker 1: and especially since he walks in right near the end
- 27:38Speaker 1: of the movie, so now we get distracted in the
- 27:41Speaker 1: whole story of it and we're pulled out of it
- 27:43Speaker 1: and this guy's there and he's just chomping and chomping away.
- 27:46Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 27:48Speaker 1: I'm just telling you guys this because I'm complaining that's
- 27:50Speaker 1: what it is at the end of it. But it
- 27:52Speaker 1: just I needed to share with you guys what I
- 27:54Speaker 1: think was probably the worst moviego or I've ever experienced.
- 28:00Speaker 4: But it was Gladiator too, so it can't I'm like,
- 28:05Speaker 4: it couldn't have been that invested.
- 28:07Speaker 2: I don't care if it was three Amigo's four.
- 28:09Speaker 1: You do not walk into a movie before it's over
- 28:14Speaker 1: and disrupt the entire theater in a manner that he did.
- 28:19Speaker 4: Or maybe that was just the best part of Gladiator
- 28:22Speaker 4: two was him.
- 28:23Speaker 1: No, no, no, the movie was better than this guy.
- 28:27Speaker 2: But that's how bad. This guy is. Loud, bright, and
- 28:31Speaker 2: over cologned. So you you had a Persian moviegoer. It
- 28:36Speaker 2: was dark.
- 28:37Speaker 1: I couldn't see also because he had blinded me with
- 28:39Speaker 1: his phone light. Come to think of it, he did
- 28:45Speaker 1: throw down a rug in the middle of.
- 28:48Speaker 2: I mean it could have. I mean, at least he
- 28:49Speaker 2: didn't get on his phone and start talking to somebody. Yeah,
- 28:52Speaker 2: it rang it did it? Did it did?
- 28:54Speaker 1: Ring in the middle of the like five minutes after
- 28:56Speaker 1: he showed up. It went off. But you're right, he
- 28:59Speaker 1: didn't actually talk to somebody. That actually happened during a
- 29:03Speaker 1: Marvel movie in Carrollton, Texas that we saw. It was
- 29:05Speaker 1: some lady just straight up answered her phone and just
- 29:08Speaker 1: started having a whole conversation with someone. And of course
- 29:10Speaker 1: that wasn't a quiet conversation, it was.
- 29:12Speaker 2: A loud one.
- 29:14Speaker 1: But this guy was still worse than her because at
- 29:16Speaker 1: least she didn't smell bad, and she was there for
- 29:18Speaker 1: the whole film. She didn't show up at the end
- 29:20Speaker 1: of Blind Everybody.
- 29:22Speaker 2: So if he had done this at the at the
- 29:24Speaker 2: beginning or middle of the movie, it would have been Okay.
- 29:27Speaker 1: No, it was all bad. It's just worse that it's
- 29:31Speaker 1: near the end of the movie. So I guess, like
- 29:34Speaker 1: I don't know the second time he had seen it
- 29:36Speaker 1: or something. He just wanted to see the end again.
- 29:38Speaker 1: I don't understand it.
- 29:40Speaker 4: Or he didn't want to pay for the movie like
- 29:42Speaker 4: you did, and she just showed up at the end
- 29:44Speaker 4: after he watched.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Probably a good movie somewhere else. I will not be
- 29:48Speaker 2: envious of this man.
- 29:55Speaker 5: You're inde.

- 30:43Speaker 1: and Raj. Guys, what do you like to watch when
- 30:47Speaker 1: you drive?
- 30:49Speaker 2: TV? Show? Movie? You know road?
- 30:54Speaker 1: There's a thought I wish I wish someone had told
- 30:57Speaker 1: this guy that in Cannon before he got pulled over.
- 31:01Speaker 1: But a man in Ottawa got pulled over last week
- 31:06Speaker 1: because he was watching porn while he was driving. Nice
- 31:11Speaker 1: I guess you could kind of watch something while you drive.
- 31:16Speaker 1: A police officer in Ottawa pulled him over on the
- 31:19Speaker 1: highway after he was quote observed watching a pornographic film
- 31:23Speaker 1: while driving. They dinged his license. So I guess Canada
- 31:30Speaker 1: they have points on licenses and stuff. In Texas, we
- 31:33Speaker 1: don't have that, So I don't fully understand how that works,
- 31:36Speaker 1: other than I guess if you if your points go
- 31:38Speaker 1: below a certain level, your license get suspended or something
- 31:41Speaker 1: like that. But they dinged his license three points and
- 31:48Speaker 1: find him six hundred and fifteen dollars for distracted driving.
- 31:54Speaker 2: That was it extra because it was porn?
- 31:58Speaker 1: It doesn't say, It does not say, although you would
- 32:02Speaker 1: wonder if that would play into it. They actually posted
- 32:05Speaker 1: a shot of his phone, a photo of his phone
- 32:09Speaker 1: propped up in front of his speedometer, so it's right
- 32:11Speaker 1: there behind the steering wheel, so that way he could
- 32:14Speaker 1: easily glance down and you know, take a look at
- 32:17Speaker 1: what was on his phone.
- 32:18Speaker 2: They did not.
- 32:19Speaker 1: I know you're curious, because I was too. How good
- 32:23Speaker 1: is that porn if you're watching it while you drive?
- 32:26Speaker 1: So what was what was the video? They didn't tell us,
- 32:28Speaker 1: and they didn't show a photo of the video on
- 32:31Speaker 1: the phone behind the steering wheel on the dash. They
- 32:35Speaker 1: just posted a photo of the phone with no video
- 32:38Speaker 1: up on it, so the screen is dark. Or he
- 32:40Speaker 1: was watching black I.
- 32:42Speaker 2: Mean, or he's in it for the plot. He's the
- 32:46Speaker 2: one guy in your movie.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Of all the fold and porn, he's looking for the
- 32:59Speaker 1: plot holes. It's just not believable. Those two girls, they're
- 33:05Speaker 1: not that close to friends.
- 33:10Speaker 2: That'd be the best uber driver ever.
- 33:14Speaker 4: What I don't I mean if you just got in
- 33:18Speaker 4: the uber and you're like, there's nothing back here. Uh,
- 33:21Speaker 4: you know, sometimes they have the like the little set
- 33:23Speaker 4: up back there where the games and stuff like that,
- 33:26Speaker 4: and he may just be like, you know what, he
- 33:29Speaker 4: may want some porn.
- 33:30Speaker 2: But here, man, you can just now you can just
- 33:32Speaker 2: see the next problem with self drive or auto you know,
- 33:36Speaker 2: self driving cars, people are going to be spaking going
- 33:39Speaker 2: down the road. Of course.
- 33:44Speaker 1: That that that right there was one of the first
- 33:46Speaker 1: things I thought of when the whole self driving car
- 33:50Speaker 1: technology came about was, well, that just means guys are
- 33:53Speaker 1: now going to have an additional place where they can
- 33:55Speaker 1: spank it.
- 33:57Speaker 2: Don't leave the ladies out too, and you know, yeah,
- 33:59Speaker 2: takes take their vibes to work. You can line them
- 34:05Speaker 2: up on the dash like rubber duckies. Yeah. Is that
- 34:11Speaker 2: Garfield looking at me? No, that's a different cat. Yeah.
- 34:20Speaker 2: I need a tesla. That's what I need.
- 34:24Speaker 1: That's probably why all those people are caught asleep behind
- 34:27Speaker 1: the wheel of their tesla's.

- 35:31Speaker 1: Maley along with.
- 35:32Speaker 2: Trey and Raj. Today is.
- 35:36Speaker 1: Excuse me, uh, Thursday, December twelfth, twenty twenty four. Let's
- 35:42Speaker 1: celebrate with some birthdays.
- 35:45Speaker 2: I am biolic. Uh.
- 35:48Speaker 1: It's Big Bang Theory birthdays this week. She is forty nine.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Today she plays doctor Amy Fairfowler on the Big bang theory.
- 35:56Speaker 1: She's also one of the new Jeopardy hosts. Before that,
- 36:01Speaker 1: we all knew her as Blossom, but she is an
- 36:04Speaker 1: actual neuroscientist, so her character on the show is not
- 36:08Speaker 1: a huge stretch for her in real life because she
- 36:11Speaker 1: actually does and knows a lot of the things that
- 36:13Speaker 1: she talks about on the show. So take that with
- 36:15Speaker 1: you today, Miambiolic forty nine Today, Hank Williams the Third
- 36:22Speaker 1: is fifty two, that son of Hank Williams Junior. I
- 36:26Speaker 1: don't think Hank the third's been canceled, but Hank Hank
- 36:29Speaker 1: the Second has. I'm not sure if there's a fourth,
- 36:33Speaker 1: and I'm pretty sure the first is dead. Yeah, yes,
- 36:38Speaker 1: pretty sure, that's a safe assumption. Ye wasn't he the
- 36:43Speaker 1: one that had the song, Hey good looking, what you
- 36:45Speaker 1: got cooking?
- 36:49Speaker 2: I'm not sure is that too old country for you? Trey?
- 36:55Speaker 1: I'm not sure if that was him or not, but
- 36:56Speaker 1: that was the song I do remember my grandfather singing.
- 37:02Speaker 4: And then the reason Hank Williams Junior wears the glasses
- 37:05Speaker 4: is he was was he was drunk and high or
- 37:09Speaker 4: something fell off. I think he was trying to kill
- 37:12Speaker 4: himself off a Cliff and his face hit some like
- 37:14Speaker 4: some rocks or whatever, so it's all scarred up. But
- 37:16Speaker 4: that's why he wars the big glasses and the beer.
- 37:18Speaker 2: And you were right, that is u. Hank Williams Sr.
- 37:21Speaker 2: Hey good Looking.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Yeah gets you irony like he has a song about
- 37:26Speaker 1: Hey good looking, what you got cooking? And then Hank
- 37:29Speaker 1: Junior is basically like rocks face full of rocks.
- 37:33Speaker 2: That's funny. There was like punk rock.
- 37:37Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like punk country.
- 37:38Speaker 2: I just saw someone just posted the the It was
- 37:41Speaker 2: the twenty fifth anniversary intro to Monday Night Football that
- 37:45Speaker 2: Hank where Hank Williams first did, like that revamp at
- 37:49Speaker 2: the time, it was really cool, Oh absolutely was.
- 37:53Speaker 1: It was fun. I loved the song. There's no doubt.
- 37:55Speaker 1: It's amazing to think like that being known or having
- 37:58Speaker 1: like the biggest hit as a musical artist is.
- 38:02Speaker 2: A theme for Monday Night Football.
- 38:03Speaker 1: But look, it's better than being Chumbawamba.
- 38:10Speaker 2: And what did he get canceled for? I didn't I
- 38:11Speaker 2: didn't know this.
- 38:13Speaker 1: I think it was something with the birth certificate stuff
- 38:16Speaker 1: with Obama. Maybe I'm not sure.
- 38:18Speaker 2: I don't think he got canceled so much.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Well, he got fired from Monday Night Football.
- 38:23Speaker 2: Yeah, but I think, I mean, I know, his songs
- 38:30Speaker 2: still get played, so I don't. But I mean, god,
- 38:35Speaker 2: he's got to be in his seventies. He might be
- 38:41Speaker 2: in his eighties.
- 38:44Speaker 1: See well, Hank the Third's fifty two, so yeah, seventies eight,
- 38:47Speaker 1: he's somewhere in that range. He's an old man, There's
- 38:49Speaker 1: no doubt about it. Other birthdays today Jennifer Connolly, Oh
- 38:53Speaker 1: loved Jover Conley. Yeah yeah, Tray and I are on
- 38:56Speaker 1: the same same spot there.
- 38:59Speaker 2: She's fifth four today.
- 39:02Speaker 1: Phenomenal actress from films like a Beautiful Mind Labyrinth from
- 39:08Speaker 1: nineteen eighty six. She was Russell Crowe's wife in Noah.
- 39:13Speaker 1: That's a movie I have not seen, although I've heard
- 39:15Speaker 1: it's bad.
- 39:16Speaker 2: She was also she showed her cans in one movie.
- 39:21Speaker 2: You'd think.
- 39:21Speaker 1: I remember the name of the film.
- 39:24Speaker 2: It was about the brothers, and I cannot think of
- 39:25Speaker 2: the name either.
- 39:28Speaker 1: One of the brothers was Billy Crudup.
- 39:31Speaker 2: I remember that was the other one Joaquin Phoenix, Yes.
- 39:36Speaker 1: See, I remember that, and I remember the scene she's
- 39:38Speaker 1: on a couch ride one of them.
- 39:40Speaker 2: I know the scene very very well, but I don't
- 39:43Speaker 2: remember the name. Of the movie.
- 39:43Speaker 1: There's also wonder she's like skinny dipping somewhere and that
- 39:46Speaker 1: she showed them there too. But she was also in
- 39:49Speaker 1: Career Opportunities. That was the movie back from the late
- 39:52Speaker 1: eighties where it's the guys who were holding the target
- 39:56Speaker 1: employee and her hostage, and she rides the coin op
- 40:00Speaker 1: berated horse very very slowly.
- 40:03Speaker 2: And then she made her triumphant return and Top Gun.
- 40:06Speaker 1: Two, Top Gun Mavericks. She is Penny Benjamin And in
- 40:11Speaker 1: case you were wondering, she's also the voice of Karen
- 40:14Speaker 1: the Ai in Spider Man suit in Spider Man Homecoming.
- 40:18Speaker 1: Huh cool when you think about the fact that she's
- 40:20Speaker 1: married to the guy who voices Jarvis, who's the voice
- 40:24Speaker 1: inside Tony Stark's head. Oh interesting, Yeah, see, I'm full
- 40:29Speaker 1: of useless information. Tray, your face is priceless right now,
- 40:35Speaker 1: you're like, whoa.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Well, he played a voice of Jarvis. Also was Vision Yeah, yep, okay, yep.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Jennifer Connelly, her so far in the Marvel Cinematic universe
- 40:49Speaker 1: has not been a physical embodiment yet, just her voice.
- 40:52Speaker 1: I don't know if there's any plans to do to
- 40:55Speaker 1: her what they did with Jarvis and Vision.
- 40:58Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 40:58Speaker 1: I haven't read all the comics. I'm not sure on that,
- 41:00Speaker 1: but anyway, Happy birthday to coin operated horse riding Jennifer Connley.
- 41:05Speaker 1: She is fifty four today. Sheila E is sixty seven.
- 41:09Speaker 1: Bill Nigi is seventy five. I think that's how you
- 41:15Speaker 1: spell his name. He's the one that plays Davy Jones
- 41:18Speaker 1: and the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. He's Victor in
- 41:21Speaker 1: the Underworld movies. He was in Love. Actually, he's Sean's
- 41:24Speaker 1: stepfather and Sean of the Dead. He's seventy five today.
- 41:27Speaker 1: Very very talented actor, British dude. But his last name
- 41:31Speaker 1: is interesting is interestingly spelled nighy. I don't care what
- 41:38Speaker 1: he says. In my book, it's nig. I assume that's
- 41:50Speaker 1: how he pronounces it. But it's one of those things
- 41:52Speaker 1: I'm afraid to type it into Google to see what
- 41:54Speaker 1: they say.
- 41:56Speaker 4: It will just be nigh right because the gh But
- 41:59Speaker 4: there's a why.
- 42:03Speaker 2: I think you're actually I think you're pronouncing it correctly nig.
- 42:07Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, well that's that's not how my grandmother Glick
- 42:10Speaker 1: would have said it.

- 43:03Speaker 1: website treehouseonair dot com. You are in the treehouse. I'm Dan,
- 43:08Speaker 1: along with Trey and Raj. I hate to be the
- 43:13Speaker 1: bad guy, but sometimes I just have to be. I
- 43:15Speaker 1: have to burst your bubble about a holiday classic. I
- 43:19Speaker 1: say holiday classic. It's not necessarily a holiday classic to me.
- 43:22Speaker 1: I'm sure it is to a lot of people, but
- 43:24Speaker 1: it does get shown a lot this time of year,
- 43:26Speaker 1: and that is the movie The Holiday, Raj Trey. Have
- 43:31Speaker 1: you guys seen The Holiday starring Jude Law, Kate Winslet,
- 43:36Speaker 1: Cameron Diaz, and Jack Black?
- 43:40Speaker 2: Have not? Nope?
- 43:43Speaker 1: How do you guys avoid that? Because I feel like
- 43:48Speaker 1: that's sort of like the Christmas version of the Notebook,
- 43:51Speaker 1: not because it's the same story, but it's like usually
- 43:54Speaker 1: if you're in a long term relationship long enough, and
- 43:57Speaker 1: you're a straight man and you're with a straight woman,
- 43:59Speaker 1: you eventually forced to see The Notebook. The Christmas version
- 44:03Speaker 1: of that is you were usually forced to watch The Holiday,
- 44:05Speaker 1: starring Jude Law, Cameron di As, Kate Winslet, and Jack Black.
- 44:12Speaker 4: It never comes on in between episodes of Forensic Files,
- 44:18Speaker 4: and there's always c span.
- 44:23Speaker 1: Between those two channels for you too, I think I'd
- 44:25Speaker 1: rather watch The Holiday, so I'll give you the I'll
- 44:28Speaker 1: give you the gist of the film quickly here. Okay,
- 44:30Speaker 1: so it's a Christmas movie. I don't know if it
- 44:33Speaker 1: still happens, but this was back during a time when
- 44:35Speaker 1: it was kind of a trend where you would swap
- 44:38Speaker 1: homes for vacation. You'd find someone in another country, another city,
- 44:43Speaker 1: and you'd swap houses for a week.
- 44:45Speaker 2: Right.
- 44:46Speaker 1: This is sort of like the beginning of the airbnb
- 44:48Speaker 1: craze and everything. So in this case, you've got Kate
- 44:52Speaker 1: Winslet who lives in a cottage in England, and she
- 44:55Speaker 1: swaps homes with Cameron di As who lives in Los Angeles.
- 45:00Speaker 1: Cameron Diaz is a movie trailer producer in Los Angeles.
- 45:03Speaker 1: A very modern home Kate Winslett lives in this adorable
- 45:07Speaker 1: English countryside cottage, and so the two of them swap
- 45:11Speaker 1: for Christmas. And while they swap, they both meet a
- 45:15Speaker 1: man and fall in love. While Cameron Diaz his situation
- 45:18Speaker 1: is kind of believable, meeting Jude Law and falling in
- 45:21Speaker 1: love kind of tracks right, Kate Winslett meets Jack Black's
- 45:25Speaker 1: character somehow falls in love with him. Still doesn't quite
- 45:29Speaker 1: make sense to me, but it's movie magic whatever. Well,
- 45:32Speaker 1: the cottage in the movie The Holiday is beloved like
- 45:37Speaker 1: women love this little house. And Jude Law did an
- 45:42Speaker 1: evil evil thing just a couple of weeks ago, because
- 45:46Speaker 1: he's the bad guy here, not me. I'm just reporting it.
- 45:49Speaker 1: But he, in an interview said the cottage and the Holiday, Sorry, it's.
- 45:55Speaker 2: Not a real house. Oh no, I know.
- 45:58Speaker 1: You can just hear the uterus is crying.
- 46:06Speaker 6: It was.
- 46:07Speaker 1: In a recent interview, while discussing it, he said he
- 46:11Speaker 1: loves how people turned to the film year after year.
- 46:14Speaker 1: He said, I find it just honestly glorious. But he
- 46:17Speaker 1: did have that disappointing revelation. He said that cottage does
- 46:20Speaker 1: not exist. Nancy Myers made the house. I think that's
- 46:25Speaker 1: a director made the house come to life. So the director,
- 46:28Speaker 1: she's a bit of a perfectionist, toured the whole area
- 46:30Speaker 1: and didn't find the chocolate box cottage she was looking for.
- 46:34Speaker 1: So she hired a field and drew it and had
- 46:37Speaker 1: someone build it. And according to ju Law, the interior
- 46:40Speaker 1: shots of the cottage weren't even filmed in Britain. They
- 46:43Speaker 1: did that in La three months later. So they built
- 46:47Speaker 1: the exterior of this little cottage and then all the
- 46:49Speaker 1: interiors you know, were shot in La. The way Hollywood
- 46:52Speaker 1: does a lot of things to trick you. They'll build
- 46:55Speaker 1: the outside with no with no inside, which speaks to
- 47:00Speaker 1: llod as a whole pretty on the outside, nothing inside.
- 47:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I honestly, and this is I just think most holiday,
- 47:09Speaker 2: most holiday Christmas movies are overrated. I think Elf is
- 47:13Speaker 2: one of the most overrated movies of all time. I
- 47:19Speaker 2: don't I love Will Ferrell, but I think it on
- 47:23Speaker 2: It's like I think that became so popular because he
- 47:26Speaker 2: was at a peak, right then it's not a good movie,
- 47:30Speaker 2: my goodness.
- 47:31Speaker 1: All right, So you guys, there's two holiday classics, and
- 47:33Speaker 1: I'm aware of that. You don't like that most people
- 47:35Speaker 1: love that is a Christmas Story and Elf. You guys
- 47:38Speaker 1: are both thumbs down on that. Is it that you
- 47:42Speaker 1: think they're bad films or you just don't like Christmas?
- 47:46Speaker 2: I think Elf is a bad movie. Why, it's just stupid.
- 47:50Speaker 2: It's so much overacting and ye, pot is dumb. It's
- 47:55Speaker 2: just it's just it's.
- 47:56Speaker 1: A Christmas movie. What kind of plot are you looking for?
- 47:59Speaker 1: It's like Believe in Thana.
- 48:00Speaker 2: That's well, No, Raj is right, it's like Will Ferrell
- 48:05Speaker 2: and Old School Perfect. It's just the right amount. Too much.
- 48:10Speaker 2: It's how I feel about Steve Carell as well as
- 48:14Speaker 2: a lead on their own with their stick it's too much.
- 48:18Speaker 1: Yeah, is there a Christmas movie that the two you like?
- 48:22Speaker 2: Christmas?
- 48:22Speaker 3: Vig?
- 48:25Speaker 1: All right, I approve of both of those answers. So
- 48:30Speaker 1: I was getting worried. All right, good, we're okay now, right.
- 48:43Speaker 2: Like I'm not embarrassing.
- 48:44Speaker 1: I'm genuinely relieved that you two actually have a film
- 48:46Speaker 1: that you like that's Christmas and it's those seriously think
