- 0:00Speaker 1: President Trump offering this response to the no Kings protesters
- 0:04Speaker 1: that gathered across our country this weekend.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Watch.
- 0:07Speaker 3: I think it's a joke. I looked at the people.
- 0:09Speaker 3: They're not representative of this country. And I looked at
- 0:12Speaker 3: all the brand new science paid for. I guess it
- 0:15Speaker 3: was paid for by Soros and other radical left lunatics.
- 0:19Speaker 3: It looks like it was. We're checking it out. The
- 0:22Speaker 3: demonstrations were very small, very ineffective, and the people who
- 0:26Speaker 3: were worked out. When you look at those people, those
- 0:28Speaker 3: are not representative of the people of our country. I'm
- 0:31Speaker 3: not a king. I work myself to make our country great.
- 0:34Speaker 3: That's all it is. I'm not a king at all.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Joining me in out.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Your reaction is independent journalist a Vita Duffy Alfonso Avita.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Did these protests accomplish anything?
- 0:47Speaker 4: Well, I would say no, they did not, And I
- 0:49Speaker 4: thought the President's points were spot on.
- 0:51Speaker 2: So, first of all, he's right.
- 0:52Speaker 4: These protests were Soros funded, Open Society Foundation funded.
- 0:57Speaker 2: And the other thing is, if you looked.
- 0:58Speaker 4: Around at these protests, Todd, everyone was old. I have
- 1:03Speaker 4: never seen a movement where there's energy and excitement and everybody's.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Fifty five and older. It's just impossible.
- 1:10Speaker 4: It reminded me of the Women's March in twenty sixteen
- 1:13Speaker 4: or these Doge protests where just everybody is is elderly.
- 1:18Speaker 4: There's no youth and energy behind this, which means this
- 1:20Speaker 4: pretty inorganic, which President Trump is right, it was inorganic.
- 1:24Speaker 2: And if you think about what they're.
- 1:25Speaker 4: Fighting for, right anti ice protests, they're angry that President
- 1:29Speaker 4: Trump is deporting illegals. Who's that good for working class Americans?
- 1:34Speaker 4: So there's a generational divide here, But then there's also,
- 1:37Speaker 4: I think a class divide in these protests. The people
- 1:40Speaker 4: who are here are wildly out of touch with what
- 1:43Speaker 4: normal regular Americans.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Want from this country, and quite frankly, to your earlier point,
- 1:47Speaker 1: a lot of those individuals, we don't have an exact number,
- 1:50Speaker 1: but a lot of them were paid to be there,
- 1:52Speaker 1: and that is concerning because that's not necessarily the organicness
- 1:56Speaker 1: that you want to see in our society when you protest. Meantime,
- 1:59Speaker 1: the doj IS reportedly found evidence that Democrats are skewing
- 2:03Speaker 1: crime information ahead of the midterms. The report from Fox
- 2:06Speaker 1: Business senior correspondent Charlie Gasparino reads, in part quote, the
- 2:10Speaker 1: number of felonies in Chicago, not to mention New York,
- 2:13Speaker 1: Los Angeles, and Portland, Oregon is declining only because Wolke
- 2:16Speaker 1: prosecutors are knocking down felonies to something less severe for
- 2:20Speaker 1: political reasons. DOJ sources say, it looks like the Democrats
- 2:25Speaker 1: are trying to get voters to ignore reality and avida.
- 2:28Speaker 1: It looks like they just got caught.
- 2:32Speaker 4: Yes, and I understand why they would want to, because
- 2:35Speaker 4: our cities are dying.
- 2:36Speaker 2: They are dying.
- 2:37Speaker 4: When I was a student at the University of Chicago,
- 2:39Speaker 4: which is the South side of Chicago, classmates of mine
- 2:42Speaker 4: were pistol whipped on their way to and from class.
- 2:45Speaker 4: Classmates of mine were murdered for using public transit, and
- 2:49Speaker 4: things have only gotten worse at Chicago. That was the
- 2:52Speaker 4: time of Lori Lightfoot. Now we have Brandon Johnson. And
- 2:55Speaker 4: what happened in twenty twenty. We were told that law
- 2:58Speaker 4: and order is race. We were told that we have
- 3:01Speaker 4: to empty out our psychiatric institutions in our prisons and
- 3:05Speaker 4: somehow that will make social justice prevail in America. And
- 3:08Speaker 4: all that happened was that law abiding citizens have suffered.
- 3:12Speaker 4: We have been destroyed by blue city soft on crime policies.
- 3:16Speaker 2: And I'm someone from rural America.
- 3:18Speaker 4: I've always been from rural America, and sometimes people in
- 3:20Speaker 4: rural America like to ignore what's happening in our blue cities.
- 3:23Speaker 2: We say, that's not us, we have nothing to do
- 3:25Speaker 2: with that.
- 3:26Speaker 4: And the problem is we can't have a country that
- 3:28Speaker 4: is thriving and surviving if our cities are dying.
- 3:32Speaker 2: So what matters to everyone? And I'm glad that the
- 3:34Speaker 2: DJ is calling them out.
- 3:36Speaker 1: For their lives gets to that point though, Avida, the
- 3:37Speaker 1: DOJ expects the upcoming reports that they have on this
- 3:41Speaker 1: study or what they discovered, will highlight worsening urban conditions.
- 3:45Speaker 1: To your point, population flight from blue cities, and the
- 3:49Speaker 1: economic consequence is that, like you mentioned, impact us all.
- 3:53Speaker 1: So are we going to get any change from the voters.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Are they going to stop voting for these politicians that
- 3:59Speaker 1: are creating what we see in these cities or is
- 4:02Speaker 1: it going to be more of the same from here on.
- 4:06Speaker 4: I have a big fear that it's going to be
- 4:08Speaker 4: more of the same, because I mean, if you look
- 4:10Speaker 4: at what's even happening in New York right now, what
- 4:12Speaker 4: is Zoron, Mam Donnie going to do?
- 4:14Speaker 2: For New Yorkers.
- 4:15Speaker 4: Right, He's somebody who saying we're going to open up
- 4:17Speaker 4: government run grocery stores, We're going to have free public transit,
- 4:20Speaker 4: which means that of course down they're going to become
- 4:22Speaker 4: homelessness encampments. These are people who aren't interested in actually
- 4:26Speaker 4: creating solutions for people in these cities, and I unfortunately
- 4:30Speaker 4: it's a sad cycle.
- 4:31Speaker 2: But they're going to continue to vote for these terrible.
- 4:33Speaker 4: Politicians who perpetuate the blue city crime, and things are
- 4:36Speaker 4: only going to get worse, and the people who know
- 4:38Speaker 4: everything's bad are going to continue to flee.
- 4:41Speaker 2: And it is a very sad, sad.
- 4:43Speaker 1: State for I mean, you look at Connecticut, you look
- 4:45Speaker 1: at Westchester County, you look at New Jersey. The real
- 4:48Speaker 1: estate inquiries in those areas in light of the potential
- 4:53Speaker 1: and likely win of Zoram Mamdani is intense. People are
- 4:56Speaker 1: spending hundreds of thousands above asking just to get out
- 4:59Speaker 1: of this Avida Duffie Alfonso, thank you.
