  Speaker 1: me in prayer. You know I was thinking about in prayer.

  Speaker 1: You know, sometimes we pray for God's will to be

  Speaker 1: done in our lives, but we really want his permissive will.

  Speaker 1: We want to do what we want to do and

  Speaker 1: want God to bless it. The reality is we just

  Speaker 1: need to surrender every area of our lives to Heaven.

  Speaker 1: Don't hold anything back. Let's pray about that this morning. Father, God,

  Speaker 1: we come to you right now on the name of
• 0:34
  Speaker 1: Jesus Christ, just as we are. No pretense, no mass,

  Speaker 1: no excuses. God, we lay everything at your feet today,
• 0:44
  Speaker 1: our hearts, our plans, our dreams, our fears, and even
• 0:48
  Speaker 1: the things we've tried to hide. Lord, we surrender all

  Speaker 1: to you, not just the easy things, not just the
• 0:56
  Speaker 1: broken pieces. God, we give you the things that we
• 0:59
  Speaker 1: still want to try to control. God, we give you

  Speaker 1: those secret places. We give you our pride, We give

  Speaker 1: you our reputation. We give you our expectations. God, we

  Speaker 1: give you our past, with all its pain and failures. God,

  Speaker 1: we give you our future, the unknown and the uncertain.

  Speaker 1: God take it all. We lay it at your feet. God,

  Speaker 1: we don't want to hold anything back from you. If

  Speaker 1: there's anything in us that's not like you, God, burn

  Speaker 1: it out, refine us, purify us, strip us of every

  Speaker 1: idol and every false comfort, until all that's left God

  Speaker 1: is a heart fully yielded to you. Jesus, you gave

  Speaker 1: everything for us, not withholding even your own life on

  Speaker 1: the cross. How could we offer you less than our

  Speaker 1: whole self. So here we are, Lord, Our hands are open,

  Speaker 1: our hearts are exposed. God. Our will is bowed down

  Speaker 1: to you. God. We say yes to your will, yes

  Speaker 1: to your way, Yes to the pruning, if that's what

  Speaker 1: it takes to bear fruit for your glory. God. We

  Speaker 1: surrender our gifts. We surrender our calling, our relationships, our finances,

  Speaker 1: our time, our tower, everything to you. God. We let

  Speaker 1: go of striving, We let go approving and performing. God,

  Speaker 1: we receive your grace, your love, and your power. God.

  Speaker 1: We want nothing more than to know you, than to

  Speaker 1: love you and to live for you. God, let our

  Speaker 1: lives be a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing in your sight. God.
