- 0:56Speaker 1: A little about me.
- 0:57Speaker 2: I am a certified recovery and healing code coach as
- 1:00Speaker 2: well as a mental health practitioner who's all about health
- 1:03Speaker 2: people in their paths, their purpose, and their journey to
- 1:06Speaker 2: a new and better youth through self discovery. I'm all
- 1:09Speaker 2: about helping people to let go of what was and
- 1:12Speaker 2: focus on what is and what will be, helping people
- 1:15Speaker 2: to mind their own business and not focus on everybody else.
- 1:18Speaker 1: But focus on yourself. Now. I had a podcast.
- 1:23Speaker 2: That I did for you, minding your own business, but
- 1:26Speaker 2: it ended up going my self. Respect leads to the
- 1:29Speaker 2: love of self. So it's gonna stay there until I
- 1:32Speaker 2: figure out how to move it. So it's just gonna
- 1:35Speaker 2: be there. But today's episode, before we get started, anybody
- 1:40Speaker 2: wants to be a guest on my podcast, or you
- 1:43Speaker 2: want to just email me about something you're going through
- 1:46Speaker 2: and you want some advice, or you want to do
- 1:48Speaker 2: like dear Osha letters where I read letters on my podcast,
- 1:52Speaker 2: or if you want to just do one on one coaching,
- 1:55Speaker 2: or just wanna talk to me privately. I would love
- 1:57Speaker 2: to hear what you guys got to say emails. You
- 2:00Speaker 2: can email me at my name A s H dot
- 2:03Speaker 2: M A R I A M A zero one at
- 2:05Speaker 2: gmail dot com. It's a s H A dot M
- 2:09Speaker 2: A R I A M A zero one at gmail
- 2:12Speaker 2: dot com. I hope you guys are doing good me.
- 2:15Speaker 2: I am hey, as some great news. I am actually moving.
- 2:20Speaker 2: I just started doing a little bit of packing and
- 2:23Speaker 2: tomorrow I'm gonna do some more packing. Well I might
- 2:27Speaker 2: not pack to the weekend, but I did get a
- 2:29Speaker 2: little bit of stuff packed. I just gotta see about
- 2:33Speaker 2: getting everything else pretty much packed in my room. So
- 2:37Speaker 2: and then i'm'a go in the kitchen and I'm gonna
- 2:39Speaker 2: go ahead and.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Start boxing that stuff.
- 2:40Speaker 2: So I'm really excited to be able to start boxing
- 2:44Speaker 2: early because what I want to do is have some
- 2:47Speaker 2: of this stuff already box before I get ready to move,
- 2:52Speaker 2: so that way I wanna have to worry about that
- 2:54Speaker 2: weekend before tryna move.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Jenna box everything.
- 2:58Speaker 2: That way, we're just getting like the m the minor
- 3:00Speaker 2: stuff and then whatever I'm gonna eat that week, and
- 3:02Speaker 2: then having somebody to come in and clean because I'm
- 3:05Speaker 2: not gonna do it because I would need a sh
- 3:07Speaker 2: I would need a few things, uh shampooor and I
- 3:12Speaker 2: would need something for like the floor, but I don't
- 3:16Speaker 2: feel like doing it, so I might pay somebody, depends
- 3:18Speaker 2: on how long how much it's gonna cost me to
- 3:20Speaker 2: do it. That way, I can get somebody to come
- 3:23Speaker 2: in and clean. So that's the goal. But i'm'a combine
- 3:27Speaker 2: these two podcasts because you minding your own business and
- 3:32Speaker 2: the old you vers knew you kind of go together.
- 3:35Speaker 1: And let me explain why.
- 3:37Speaker 2: A lot of people got away from the things that
- 3:40Speaker 2: they wanted to do and the things that they were
- 3:42Speaker 2: meant to do because either somebody talked you out of it,
- 3:47Speaker 2: either low self esteem, low self worth, low self value,
- 3:50Speaker 2: and no confidence in yourself, you not believing in yourself
- 3:54Speaker 2: because everybody kept telling you weren't good enough or worthy,
- 3:58Speaker 2: or you're still stuck in the past and you can't pretty.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Much move forward. I want people to understand that it
- 4:06Speaker 1: is okay to.
- 4:10Speaker 2: For a while, you know, and I know it's not
- 4:15Speaker 2: easy for some people, because if you're considered unattractive or
- 4:19Speaker 2: with a disability or flaws or imperfections, you're not worthy
- 4:24Speaker 2: of anything.
- 4:24Speaker 1: And I know you hear it all the time.
- 4:26Speaker 2: But I want people to understand that the old version
- 4:31Speaker 2: of yourself is gonna always creep up every now and
- 4:35Speaker 2: then and try to stop the new version of you
- 4:37Speaker 2: from becoming what you are supposed to be. You're gonna
- 4:40Speaker 2: have people from your past that's gonna come back and
- 4:42Speaker 2: try to say things about you when you start making money,
- 4:45Speaker 2: and they're gonna try to expose you in any way
- 4:49Speaker 2: shape from a fashion like For example, Seanna Taylor was
- 4:53Speaker 2: on a live talking about her situation and how people
- 4:56Speaker 2: are saying that she got all this money and she
- 4:59Speaker 2: took came to the cleaners and she came.
- 5:02Speaker 1: On and she was like, well, no, it's not like that.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Everything I got was what I came with, what I
- 5:07Speaker 2: already had, and the fact that she's trying to move
- 5:10Speaker 2: on and nobody's allowing her to move on and all
- 5:15Speaker 2: this other stuff. So, like I said, when everybody kept
- 5:18Speaker 2: saying her and Aaron Pierre were together, I was like,
- 5:21Speaker 2: I don't think so. I don't think she with nobody
- 5:24Speaker 2: right now. I think they might be getting to know
- 5:27Speaker 2: each other, but I don't think they're in that phase.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Where their girlfriend and boyfriend.
- 5:31Speaker 2: And plus they gonna be playing in that movie, I mean,
- 5:33Speaker 2: in that TV series with Aaron Pierre playing Green Lantern.
- 5:38Speaker 2: So I don't know how that's gonna work out. So
- 5:43Speaker 2: at the end of the day, that's a lot of drama,
- 5:46Speaker 2: even for Aaron. So you ain't heart Aaron say nothing.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Aaron has been quiet, So like I said, I think
- 5:52Speaker 2: they're just really good friends. I think it was just
- 5:55Speaker 2: one of the things. It being that they're getting ready
- 5:57Speaker 2: to do the show. I think it was just one
- 5:59Speaker 2: of the things to see how people would be able
- 6:00Speaker 2: to relate to their chemistry. But like I said, you know,
- 6:04Speaker 2: a lot of in the industry has done that when
- 6:06Speaker 2: it comes to celebrities. That's in some like Mister and
- 6:09Speaker 2: Missus Smith when it came to that situation. I mean,
- 6:13Speaker 2: I would like to see Tiana and Aaron playing Mister
- 6:17Speaker 2: and Missus Smith.
- 6:18Speaker 1: That would actually be cool.
- 6:19Speaker 2: But as far as them being together, I highly doubt
- 6:24Speaker 2: they're at that place because the way Tiana is right now,
- 6:27Speaker 2: I don't think Tianna's ready for that.
- 6:29Speaker 1: I think Tianna got too much going on, and I
- 6:32Speaker 1: think she's just trying to figure it out.
- 6:34Speaker 2: And like I said, I think he's just being a
- 6:36Speaker 2: great friend to her. I think he's just being there.
- 6:38Speaker 2: And I think he actually said that they were not dating,
- 6:42Speaker 2: So I don't think it's true.
- 6:44Speaker 1: A lot of people had to take that back because
- 6:46Speaker 1: you notice.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Like I said, right after we saw them at the Oscars,
- 6:51Speaker 2: we ain't seen nothing else about them. So that's why
- 6:53Speaker 2: I said, if they were together, you would see them
- 6:56Speaker 2: out and about together like you see Zeeen there and
- 7:01Speaker 2: Tom Holland you see them out about you know what
- 7:05Speaker 2: I'm saying. So if they were really together, you would
- 7:07Speaker 2: see them outside of award shows and award settings, you
- 7:10Speaker 2: would see them outside literally out and about. We've only
- 7:13Speaker 2: seen them at award shows. So, like I said, are
- 7:16Speaker 2: they hanging out getting to know each other?
- 7:18Speaker 1: Yeah? Are they in a relationship.
- 7:20Speaker 2: I don't think it has gotten to that point yet,
- 7:23Speaker 2: but I believe they are spending time together and I
- 7:25Speaker 2: believe they are getting to know.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Each other, and there's nothing wrong with that.
- 7:28Speaker 2: But again, when you had the past lingering and you
- 7:32Speaker 2: got baby daddies and baby mamas and all these people
- 7:36Speaker 2: that are coming back and trying to destroy your life
- 7:39Speaker 2: and don't want you to move on and don't want
- 7:41Speaker 2: you to be happy, You're gonna have to clean up
- 7:43Speaker 2: that before you can even bring somebody new into your life.
- 7:48Speaker 2: You can't bring somebody new in your life if you
- 7:50Speaker 2: still got somebody old that's still trying to hate on
- 7:53Speaker 2: you and trying to come between every single relationship that
- 7:57Speaker 2: you've been in. It's like somebody that's going through the
- 8:00Speaker 2: domestic violence and they're trying to move on and they
- 8:02Speaker 2: got their egg stalking them and harassing them and harassing
- 8:05Speaker 2: a new person that they're dating, and he ends up
- 8:09Speaker 2: unliving the girl because the fact of the matter that
- 8:11Speaker 2: she doesn't want to.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Be with him them off. I can't have you, No
- 8:14Speaker 1: one can. Man.
- 8:16Speaker 2: People's mental state is something a lot of people need
- 8:18Speaker 2: to be paying more attention to. You shouldn't be worried
- 8:21Speaker 2: about somebody look like you should be more worried about
- 8:23Speaker 2: their mental state and you should be anything else. That's
- 8:26Speaker 2: the thing you should be focusing on, whether or not
- 8:28Speaker 2: they're crazy or not. That should be the thing that
- 8:31Speaker 2: you should be, for the most part, focusing on. So
- 8:36Speaker 2: when it comes to you minding your own business, it's
- 8:39Speaker 2: what can you do without somebody else's help, because that's
- 8:43Speaker 2: how strong. That shows how strong you are. If you
- 8:46Speaker 2: can be able to get standing on your own two
- 8:48Speaker 2: feet and everybody's just the addition to you, then it
- 8:52Speaker 2: doesn't really matter whether people come and go in your
- 8:54Speaker 2: life because you're able to handle your own You're able.
- 8:57Speaker 1: To do for yourself.
- 9:01Speaker 2: So at the end of the day, like I said,
- 9:03Speaker 2: I'm I'm all for trust and believe I'm all for
- 9:08Speaker 2: people that can hold they own. Matter of fact, I
- 9:10Speaker 2: have a respect for a man that can cook for
- 9:12Speaker 2: himself and clean for himself and do all these things.
- 9:15Speaker 1: I'm all for that.
- 9:16Speaker 2: But what I'm not for is somebody that's lazy and
- 9:19Speaker 2: irresponsible and I HA and living off me and leeching
- 9:22Speaker 2: off me. That's gonna be a problem. So at the
- 9:25Speaker 2: end of the day, like I said, you know, you
- 9:27Speaker 2: gonna have people that's gonna sit up here and make
- 9:30Speaker 2: you feel like and won't let go of the past
- 9:36Speaker 2: as far as who you were. And when people go
- 9:39Speaker 2: looking for stuff, what they don't understand is the person
- 9:42Speaker 2: that you were is not the person that you are now.
- 9:45Speaker 2: And the people from before are not people that are
- 9:48Speaker 2: around you now. So they can't really tell you about
- 9:51Speaker 2: who you were. They can only who you are now.
- 9:54Speaker 2: They can only tell you about who you were and
- 9:57Speaker 2: how you were years ago. But they don't know whether
- 10:00Speaker 2: or not you're a better person or not. They don't
- 10:02Speaker 2: know whether or not you know life is.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Good for you or not. They don't know nothing. So
- 10:08Speaker 1: you can't bank off somebody from somebody's past now. Even
- 10:13Speaker 1: even with people's.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Parents, some parents don't know nothing about their kids life.
- 10:17Speaker 1: They know nothing about.
- 10:18Speaker 2: What that child has been through or endured, and they
- 10:22Speaker 2: have no idea. So at the end of the day,
- 10:26Speaker 2: when they comes to stuff like this, You know what
- 10:28Speaker 2: I'm saying, I need people to understand that you don't
- 10:31Speaker 2: know how somebody else is gonna be and what somebody
- 10:34Speaker 2: else is gonna do. You don't know. All you do
- 10:38Speaker 2: know is that how that person is then may not
- 10:44Speaker 2: be how they are now now. In some cases, it's
- 10:46Speaker 2: gonna be like that where that person is exactly who
- 10:48Speaker 2: they were back then and they're still the same person now.
- 10:52Speaker 2: They ain't change and saved their life. But that's not
- 10:55Speaker 2: every scenario. In every case, though, there are some people
- 10:59Speaker 2: that have changed for the battle and some people that
- 11:02Speaker 2: have changed for the worst. So you can't say that
- 11:07Speaker 2: every single person twenty years ago how they were then
- 11:11Speaker 2: is how they are now, because there are a lot
- 11:13Speaker 2: of people that have grown that have evolved and elevated
- 11:17Speaker 2: into great people. So you can't say, oh, this person
- 11:21Speaker 2: was like this twenty years ago and this is what
- 11:24Speaker 2: they did twenty years ago. But just because that person
- 11:27Speaker 2: did something twenty years ago does not mean that's how
- 11:29Speaker 2: they are now.
- 11:30Speaker 1: And that's the part that irks my nerves.
- 11:32Speaker 2: When you got people saying, well, this person said this
- 11:34Speaker 2: is how you were twenty years ago and this is
- 11:36Speaker 2: how you looked twenty years ago, Well guess what that
- 11:40Speaker 2: was twenty years ago. I'm not the same person I
- 11:44Speaker 2: was twenty years ago.
- 11:46Speaker 1: I am different.
- 11:47Speaker 2: I do things differently than what I did twenty years ago.
- 11:51Speaker 1: But if you want to.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Keep throwing in my face something that happened twenty years
- 11:55Speaker 2: ago that ain't got nothing to do with the person
- 11:57Speaker 2: I am now, then by all means, you go ahead,
- 12:00Speaker 2: but you gonna leave me alone. At the same time,
- 12:04Speaker 2: but when I went after a sex coat, that's what
- 12:06Speaker 2: they tried to do, going into my past and trying
- 12:09Speaker 2: to find all these things out about me, and couldn't
- 12:12Speaker 2: find absolutely nothing about me because I wasn't doing nothing.
- 12:17Speaker 2: I'm a genuinely good person and nobody has anything bad
- 12:20Speaker 2: to really to say about me.
- 12:22Speaker 1: So that was funny when they tried. So that's why I.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Say, you don't know how somebody's life is and what
- 12:28Speaker 2: they've been through. And the problem is even though they
- 12:32Speaker 2: don't find nothing, that don't mean they ain't gonna try
- 12:35Speaker 2: to keep finding something. Oh trust me, they will keep
- 12:39Speaker 2: trying to find something until they find something that they
- 12:42Speaker 2: can use against you to hurt you in some way
- 12:45Speaker 2: shapeful a fashion. They gonna find something, whether it be
- 12:50Speaker 2: something that you did like thirty years ago, or something
- 12:54Speaker 2: you did in your teens, like you might've gotten pregnant.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Oh, they'll use that against you.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Or you might have you know, been out here in
- 13:04Speaker 2: the sex industry, they'll use that against you. Whatever they
- 13:08Speaker 2: can use against you to hold against.
- 13:10Speaker 1: You to make you look bad. Trust me, they gonna
- 13:14Speaker 1: use it.
- 13:14Speaker 2: It don't matter what it is, anything that they can
- 13:17Speaker 2: find to hold on to to say that you're a
- 13:21Speaker 2: terrible person in some way, shape, m or fashion.
- 13:24Speaker 1: Oh, trust me, they're gonna do it.
- 13:27Speaker 2: They may say something as far as, oh, you have
- 13:30Speaker 2: sex with all these different people.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Okay, what if I did? What has that got to
- 13:35Speaker 1: do with me? Now? So what if I did? So?
- 13:38Speaker 2: What if I was with multiple people at one time
- 13:41Speaker 2: or another? What does that got to do with a
- 13:44Speaker 2: person that I am now? Absolutely nothing. So you want
- 13:49Speaker 2: you wanna hold something against me that I did twenty
- 13:53Speaker 2: years ago that has nothing to do with now. But
- 13:56Speaker 2: you want to hold it against me because of something
- 14:00Speaker 2: that you feel you can use as a weapon against me.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Good luck with that, cause.
- 14:03Speaker 2: You're not gonna use a weapon against me like that,
- 14:05Speaker 2: cause no weapon formed against me shall prosper in that way.
- 14:09Speaker 2: So you can't use something like that against me even
- 14:11Speaker 2: if you try it. So when it comes down and
- 14:13Speaker 2: stuff like this, you gotta understand that when they come
- 14:16Speaker 2: to your past, people are going to try to use it,
- 14:20Speaker 2: and that is just something you have to come to
- 14:22Speaker 2: terms with and say, you know what, I'm okay with
- 14:26Speaker 2: whoever it is trying to do whatever it is they
- 14:28Speaker 2: trying to do.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Because if you know you and you know yourself, then
- 14:33Speaker 1: you know what you're capable of. So I wouldn't worry
- 14:36Speaker 1: about it.
- 14:38Speaker 2: I tell you that all the time, you gonna have
- 14:41Speaker 2: people that's gonna try to break you in some way,
- 14:44Speaker 2: shape from a fashion.
- 14:45Speaker 1: They gonna try to break you.
- 14:47Speaker 2: They gonna try to make you look bad, they gonna
- 14:49Speaker 2: try to make you think it's something wrong with you.
- 14:51Speaker 2: They gonna have you out here, you know, try and
- 14:54Speaker 2: destroy everything you stand on because the fact that whatever reason.
- 14:59Speaker 2: So at the end of the day, it's just like
- 15:02Speaker 2: with like I said, Tianna Taylor, Tanana Taylor shouldn't have
- 15:05Speaker 2: to get up there and explain nothing to nobody.
- 15:08Speaker 1: She should have had to.
- 15:10Speaker 2: That's her situation, regardless of what she got from a
- 15:14Speaker 2: mon that has nothing to do with her.
- 15:17Speaker 1: You know, it has nothing to do with anything.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Tiana works just as hard as he did in that marriage,
- 15:22Speaker 2: so it's not like she didn't work hard, but she
- 15:25Speaker 2: did help him get a lot of opportunities. So in
- 15:28Speaker 2: the end, like I said, why are people like I said,
- 15:31Speaker 2: this is the reason why as a celebrity, it is
- 15:35Speaker 2: really hard to be that because you got all these
- 15:38Speaker 2: people always in your business trying to figure out.
- 15:41Speaker 1: What you're doing, what you got.
- 15:44Speaker 2: Going on, Why are you doing this, why you saying that?
- 15:48Speaker 2: Why are you going about this? It's like you can't
- 15:50Speaker 2: even have a life of your own without somebody in
- 15:53Speaker 2: your business about something that ain't got nothing to do
- 15:56Speaker 2: with them at all. So all these people want to
- 15:59Speaker 2: sit up here and see you lose and see you
- 16:02Speaker 2: broken and seeing you lonely and seeing you shut up
- 16:05Speaker 2: and down bitter.
- 16:05Speaker 1: That's what they wanna see you as.
- 16:08Speaker 2: So whatever they see you as, they want everybody else
- 16:10Speaker 2: see you that way.
- 16:11Speaker 1: And when that don't work, they get pissed.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Off because it don't work out that way because.
- 16:16Speaker 1: They can't break you, they can't make you, they can't make.
- 16:20Speaker 2: You look bad, so they mad because they can't sit
- 16:25Speaker 2: up here and make you look like you just this
- 16:29Speaker 2: terrible person. They mad because they just can't do that.
- 16:32Speaker 2: And it's sad, but it's true. So you gonna have
- 16:37Speaker 2: people that's gonna do stuff like that, unfortunately, that's gonna
- 16:40Speaker 2: do any and everything to try to make you miserable.
- 16:44Speaker 1: They had.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Their whole life is invested in that. Their whole life
- 16:47Speaker 2: is invested in seeing you miserable. Their whole entire life
- 16:51Speaker 2: is seeing you broken and seeing you lonely and seeing
- 16:55Speaker 2: you with nobody except alone. And now they're saying, oh,
- 16:59Speaker 2: she's alone, now we got her. Yeah, because it it's
- 17:03Speaker 2: just like somebody in the domestic violence situation.
- 17:05Speaker 1: That's what they do.
- 17:06Speaker 2: They strip you of all your friends and all your family,
- 17:10Speaker 2: and they strip you of everything. And then all of
- 17:13Speaker 2: a sudden, after they strip you of all of these things,
- 17:19Speaker 2: now they want to say, oh, well, now that we
- 17:22Speaker 2: done broke you, now we got you.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Now we can do whatever we want you to you.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Now we can tell you the shreds Now, we can
- 17:30Speaker 2: sit up here and and belittle you. And you have
- 17:33Speaker 2: nobody to help you. You have nobody's that's going to
- 17:36Speaker 2: defend you. You're now on your own. That's the whole point.
- 17:40Speaker 2: They want you by yourself. They want you alone. They
- 17:44Speaker 2: want you with nobody. They want you with nothing and nobody.
- 17:49Speaker 2: That is what they want, and that is unfortunately saying,
- 17:52Speaker 2: but this is what happens all the time, and that's
- 17:56Speaker 2: just what they want. They wanna see you broken and miserable,
- 17:59Speaker 2: and they wanna see you to where you don't have anybody.
- 18:03Speaker 2: So that way, when you're alone, they can tear you apart,
- 18:08Speaker 2: and they can do it with a smile on they
- 18:10Speaker 2: face because nobody there to protect you, nobody there to
- 18:15Speaker 2: defend you. So now they now they can basically say
- 18:18Speaker 2: and do whatever they want to, and you.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Gotta step there and take it. What I want to say,
- 18:28Speaker 1: So the only way to defend yourself.
- 18:30Speaker 2: From that is if you have you have a backbone
- 18:35Speaker 2: and you just don't care what they put out there,
- 18:38Speaker 2: because at the end of the day, the minute you
- 18:41Speaker 2: start caring, the minute you start explaining yourself, that other
- 18:44Speaker 2: person's already won. They've already won, because now you're defending
- 18:48Speaker 2: yourself from people you shouldn't even be defending yourself from
- 18:52Speaker 2: in the first place.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Why you defending yourself from all these.
- 18:55Speaker 2: People that are basically essentially no matter what you say,
- 18:58Speaker 2: they gonna think.
- 18:59Speaker 1: What they want to anyway.
- 19:00Speaker 2: So there's no point of defending yourself from these people,
- 19:03Speaker 2: cause you gonna lose that battle.
- 19:05Speaker 1: You gonna lose that battle miserably.
- 19:08Speaker 2: The best thing to do in these situations is to
- 19:11Speaker 2: go ahead and live your life, and regardless of what
- 19:15Speaker 2: anybody says.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Your truth is your truth.
- 19:19Speaker 2: And like I said, you can do something that's wanning done,
- 19:21Speaker 2: say something, leave it alone, like I said, because it
- 19:24Speaker 2: don't matter whether you pour receipts, It don't.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Matter if you prove that you're telling the truth. These
- 19:30Speaker 1: negative people ain't gonna stop.
- 19:31Speaker 2: They gonna keep right on because their whole thing is
- 19:34Speaker 2: they wanna be right about you. They want everybody to
- 19:37Speaker 2: hate you, and no matter what you say, they're not
- 19:39Speaker 2: gonna believe you anyway.
- 19:41Speaker 1: They're just not. So even if you even if you sit.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Up here and you come out and say, you know, yeah,
- 19:48Speaker 2: it a long time ago. I did this when I
- 19:50Speaker 2: was younger, but that has nothing to do with now
- 19:53Speaker 2: or anything that you're doing now.
- 19:55Speaker 1: But that's not how they look at it. They look
- 19:59Speaker 1: at it as we gonna strip you of everything. We
- 20:03Speaker 1: gonna take you for everything we can take you for.
- 20:06Speaker 2: We gonna make sure that you miserable, that you don't
- 20:09Speaker 2: have no friends, that you don't have no family, that
- 20:11Speaker 2: you have nobody at all.
- 20:16Speaker 1: That what they gonna do. I's sad, but it's true.
- 20:24Speaker 1: You if you don't wanna see you win, they wanna
- 20:29Speaker 1: see you lose.
- 20:31Speaker 2: They want to see you broken, lonely, bitter, well, they bitter,
- 20:39Speaker 2: but they want to see you broken. They wanna they
- 20:43Speaker 2: want you to see them. They want to see you destroyed.
- 20:51Speaker 2: They want to see you to the point that nobody
- 20:56Speaker 2: loves you at all, that nobody likes you nothing. They
- 21:05Speaker 2: want to see every single bit of seeing you miserable.
- 21:15Speaker 2: That is just what they want to see you do.
- 21:23Speaker 2: So that's just how that go. So at the end
- 21:32Speaker 2: of the day, this is what we.
- 21:38Speaker 1: We deal with.
- 21:43Speaker 2: So that's why I say, you know, in these situations,
- 21:47Speaker 2: doesn't make any of this right mm hmm, not at all.
- 21:56Speaker 2: But at the end of the day, the only thing
- 22:03Speaker 2: we can do is try to be the best versions
- 22:06Speaker 2: of ourselves and continue to push on. So I hate
- 22:14Speaker 2: that we even have to deal with stuff like this.
- 22:18Speaker 2: I hate that we even have to go through certain things.
- 22:23Speaker 2: But there are a lot of people that are going
- 22:27Speaker 2: through things that they shouldn't even have to go through.
- 22:32Speaker 2: It's just like when ange Stone sh just passed away
- 22:36Speaker 2: and Monique is in here talking about this situation. When
- 22:42Speaker 2: it comes to Tyler Perry, Monique, we're on time for
- 22:47Speaker 2: that angel Stone just passed away.
- 22:49Speaker 1: This should not be about you and Tyler Perir.
- 22:52Speaker 2: This should be about the fact that angel Stone lost
- 22:54Speaker 2: her life in a car accident that didn't even have
- 22:57Speaker 2: to happen, but it did so, so it's tragic. So
- 23:04Speaker 2: I just want people to understand that. I get the
- 23:08Speaker 2: fact that you want to sit up here and say
- 23:13Speaker 2: something about Tyler Perry, but Tyler Perry is not the
- 23:16Speaker 2: issue here. Tyler Perry, yes, he has done a lot
- 23:21Speaker 2: of things, maybe so, but in the end.
- 23:25Speaker 1: This was not the right time to do that. This
- 23:27Speaker 1: was the wrong time to do that.
- 23:29Speaker 2: I mean you back in the industry, Lee Daniels puts
- 23:34Speaker 2: you in a movie, you know. But I guess because
- 23:38Speaker 2: of the fact that the things she said, nobody wants
- 23:42Speaker 2: to work with her, because of the fact that what
- 23:45Speaker 2: she did in the past to Lee Daniels an open
- 23:47Speaker 2: wind friend Tyler Perry, because people are gonna be scared
- 23:52Speaker 2: to work with Monique because of the fact of the
- 23:54Speaker 2: thing she said, and that husband or hus nobody gonna
- 23:58Speaker 2: want to work with her. With her, ain't no way
- 24:01Speaker 2: in the world that people gonna want to work with her.
- 24:05Speaker 1: And that's what I mean. Stuff come back to bite you.
- 24:08Speaker 2: So you gotta be very careful what you put out
- 24:10Speaker 2: there in the universe, especially on social media, because you
- 24:13Speaker 2: never know what it's gonna end up coming back to
- 24:16Speaker 2: bite you. So what goes around absolutely comes around. So
- 24:20Speaker 2: the grass ain't always greener on the other side, but
- 24:23Speaker 2: sometimes the grass ain't green and where you're at either.
- 24:26Speaker 2: So I just want people to understand that when it
- 24:29Speaker 2: comes to these situations, you got to be very very
- 24:35Speaker 2: cautious of, you know, certain things. So like I said,
- 24:43Speaker 2: you gotta be mindful because in the end, you never
- 24:50Speaker 2: know what may or may not happen. So, like I said,
- 24:55Speaker 2: I just feel like that when it come to certain situations,
- 25:01Speaker 2: you never know how things are gonna be. So when
- 25:04Speaker 2: you get involved with people, I just want people to
- 25:06Speaker 2: understand that just because you are, you know what I'm saying,
- 25:14Speaker 2: thinking one way about a person.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Doesn't mean that it is what it is. It's just
- 25:19Speaker 1: like in my.
- 25:20Speaker 2: New apartment, I'm changing some things and one of the
- 25:26Speaker 2: first things I'm changing as far as the new version
- 25:28Speaker 2: of myself is eating healthier. But I gotta get my
- 25:33Speaker 2: thyroid looked at cause stuff keep getting stuck in my throat.
- 25:37Speaker 2: So I'm making stuff that's gonna be healthier, like salads
- 25:42Speaker 2: and stuff like that, and.
- 25:44Speaker 1: That's what I'll be eating.
- 25:46Speaker 2: So I'm really excited about, you know, losing weight and stuff.
- 25:49Speaker 2: But the one thing I don't do that a lot
- 25:52Speaker 2: of people do is get on a scale. I gotta
- 25:54Speaker 2: scale in there, and I don't even get on it.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Why because I want to see my I want to
- 26:00Speaker 2: see it via my body more so than the weight.
- 26:05Speaker 1: Because here's the thing. A scale.
- 26:06Speaker 2: You can get on three four different scales and they
- 26:08Speaker 2: can be three four different amounts and none of them
- 26:12Speaker 2: might not might be right because it depends on how
- 26:14Speaker 2: you how you stand on a scale. So I don't
- 26:17Speaker 2: go based upon a scale.
- 26:22Speaker 1: I go pay. I go based upon my clothing size.
- 26:25Speaker 2: That's what I go off of because I've been buying
- 26:28Speaker 2: three xes and now three x's are way too big.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Now I'm wearing two xes.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Now pretty soon I'll be wearing one x's and then
- 26:35Speaker 2: extra large, and I'm going and that's where I think
- 26:37Speaker 2: I'm gonna stop at extra large cause I like being
- 26:41Speaker 2: either large or.
- 26:42Speaker 1: Extra large, so I'm trying to get down to one eight.
- 26:44Speaker 2: I've been doing pretty good naturally losing weight, but once
- 26:48Speaker 2: I start exercising and going to the gym in my neighborhood,
- 26:53Speaker 2: I gotta go in there and look at the gym.
- 26:56Speaker 2: But if they have more equipment, I'm going in there
- 26:57Speaker 2: and going to the gym and working out.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Plus I gotta try redmill.
- 27:00Speaker 2: I have a treadmill already, and then I have a
- 27:04Speaker 2: TV stand that I'm gonna have them put together for me.
- 27:10Speaker 1: But the other one, it depends on how how much
- 27:14Speaker 1: room I got.
- 27:15Speaker 2: But the other one, I'm probably gonna sit it outside
- 27:19Speaker 2: or give it to somebody. So at the end of
- 27:22Speaker 2: the day, like I said, we all have our battles
- 27:25Speaker 2: that we have to fight, things we have to deal with.
- 27:29Speaker 2: But in the end, like I said, you know, you
- 27:34Speaker 2: can't sit up here and not think your past ain't
- 27:36Speaker 2: gonna come back to bite you, because it always will.
- 27:39Speaker 2: As long as you got negative people to hate you,
- 27:42Speaker 2: it's always gonna be that way. Unfortunately, so even though
- 27:48Speaker 2: you are not the person you were, the person that
- 27:51Speaker 2: you were is gonna always be thrown back in your place.
- 27:55Speaker 2: And the reason why is because people are not going
- 27:58Speaker 2: to not bring it up, sadly enough, So in the end,
- 28:03Speaker 2: like I said, the only thing you can do is
- 28:05Speaker 2: brace yourself. The only thing you can do is just
- 28:08Speaker 2: say to yourself, am I going to respond to this?
- 28:10Speaker 2: Or am I just gonna be like you know what,
- 28:12Speaker 2: I ain't even gonna waste my time, or that you
- 28:15Speaker 2: got a choice to make in the end, so I
- 28:20Speaker 2: wouldn't worry about all the other stuff. I would just
- 28:23Speaker 2: worry about what you could have, should have, would it
- 28:25Speaker 2: and just let it be that because in the end,
- 28:29Speaker 2: like I said, something always will another opportunity or something
- 28:36Speaker 2: better will always come. And the people that's gonna stand
- 28:39Speaker 2: with you gonna stand with you. The people that's not
- 28:40Speaker 2: gonna stand with you, they just won't. So to tell
- 28:43Speaker 2: you the truth, your past can sometimes be a good
- 28:46Speaker 2: thing as far as it's coming out. And I say
- 28:48Speaker 2: that because if people can't accept the fact that you
- 28:52Speaker 2: had to pass, because everybody got a pass. I don't
- 28:54Speaker 2: know one person that don't get a pass. So the
- 28:57Speaker 2: fact that so many people think that can't have a
- 29:01Speaker 2: pass and be able to move forward, then that's on you.
- 29:07Speaker 2: If people are gonna be stupid enough to believe them,
- 29:09Speaker 2: then those are not people you want to rock with anyway.
- 29:12Speaker 2: But I understand why Tiana Taylor responded because she got
- 29:16Speaker 2: kids and her kids are gonna be impacted by this,
- 29:19Speaker 2: So I don't blame her. I'd have got up and
- 29:21Speaker 2: say something too, especially when they come down to your children.
- 29:24Speaker 2: But the fact that people are posting that child their
- 29:27Speaker 2: children and way they go to school that year, I'd
- 29:28Speaker 2: have a problem.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Wanted to, But like I said, it's.
- 29:30Speaker 2: Too many people on social media and too many people business.
- 29:33Speaker 2: And when you're on social media and you're a concent
- 29:36Speaker 2: creator or even a celebrity or athlete or whatever, it's
- 29:40Speaker 2: gonna always be something. So that means said, I just
- 29:43Speaker 2: want to do this quick video or red quick because
- 29:44Speaker 2: I'm about to get.
- 29:45Speaker 1: Ready to go to bed. But I love y'all, I
- 29:47Speaker 1: appreciate y'all. Without y'all, there is no me. I'd be
- 29:50Speaker 1: nothing without y'all.
- 29:52Speaker 2: But I will see y'all next week for another episode
- 29:55Speaker 2: of the podcast, And until then, I will see y'all later.
- 29:59Speaker 1: Bye.
