- 1:00Speaker 2: All right, guys, welcome back, E y L.
- 1:02Speaker 3: We on our last leg out hand in Atlanta, and yeah,
- 1:06Speaker 3: we saved especially one for our last episode that we
- 1:08Speaker 3: were recording out here. So if you live in Atlanta
- 1:11Speaker 3: and you got opportunity to attend our last that was
- 1:14Speaker 3: actually our last live events was on We was on
- 1:16Speaker 3: tour before Corona hit and we hit Houston, we hit Chicago,
- 1:21Speaker 3: New York City, La Atlanta, and our last event, we
- 1:26Speaker 3: had the biggest event that we had. We had a
- 1:28Speaker 3: live podcast and then we had a workshop the next day.
- 1:30Speaker 3: So the couple that's here today was guest on a
- 1:33Speaker 3: live podcast special.
- 1:35Speaker 2: It was a dope event.
- 1:36Speaker 4: Who knew?
- 1:37Speaker 3: Who knew it would be last potentially for a long
- 1:41Speaker 3: period of time.
- 1:44Speaker 2: That's a fact.
- 1:45Speaker 3: So Jason and Halani Label better known as Mister and
- 1:49Speaker 3: Missus two weeks out lobdel.
- 1:52Speaker 4: Yeah, I got you, I got you. He's like, wad
- 1:53Speaker 4: say I got you. Don't worry, I got you.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Bolt better known as mister and Missus two weeks out
- 1:59Speaker 3: on Instagram. So they're killing the game right now. Fitness couple,
- 2:04Speaker 3: the first couple of fitness.
- 2:05Speaker 4: That's a fact.
- 2:07Speaker 3: The co owners of a gym called a law who Actually,
- 2:10Speaker 3: we've been working out at all week.
- 2:11Speaker 2: It's serious. If you're in Atlanta, you definitely a member
- 2:14Speaker 2: at the Loft.
- 2:15Speaker 4: It's a I can't feel my legs, Yeah, I can
- 2:17Speaker 4: feel my legs today today, I can feel my legs.
- 2:21Speaker 3: It's a culture. Hallani is actually a chief at the
- 2:25Speaker 3: fire department, Yeah, battalion chief dec County, the right apartment.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Jason actually also has an online subscription service for working
- 2:34Speaker 3: out called X twenty eight. We're going to talk about that.
- 2:37Speaker 3: And Helani is actually a fashion designer as well. She
- 2:40Speaker 3: has a clothing line called body Envy. Is that what
- 2:42Speaker 3: you're wearing right now?
- 2:44Speaker 4: Only right? Only right, right right.
- 2:47Speaker 3: So it was an interesting conversation because we obviously didn't
- 2:51Speaker 3: know that COVID nineteen was going to change the entire world,
- 2:54Speaker 3: and it's been interesting to see how like entrepreneurs have
- 2:57Speaker 3: pivoted and made adjustments since COVID hit. So this is
- 3:01Speaker 3: actually a dope interview because this is the first interview
- 3:03Speaker 3: that we did where we already interviewed somebody pre COVID
- 3:07Speaker 3: and it was a story. But now we're going to
- 3:09Speaker 3: do the post COVID and it's a it's a different
- 3:12Speaker 3: story that's going to show how a lot of entrepreneurs
- 3:14Speaker 3: have actually thrived through this if you were positioned correctly.
- 3:20Speaker 3: So it's going to be a very entertaining educational episode.
- 3:23Speaker 3: But before we start, thank you guys for rocking with
- 3:25Speaker 3: us again. Appreciate it.
- 3:27Speaker 4: I was saying like, y'all extended family. We've been around
- 3:29Speaker 4: each other so much, but now y'all officially alone. Now
- 3:32Speaker 4: this is it, this is this is what stamps it.
- 3:36Speaker 3: And Jason actually had the vision because we wanted to
- 3:40Speaker 3: do this, Like after the podcast, we was like you
- 3:42Speaker 3: want to do He was like, no, no, wait because
- 3:45Speaker 3: by he was like, he was like, she's going to
- 3:47Speaker 3: blow up like her clothing line. Obviously he didn't know
- 3:50Speaker 3: COVID was gonna hit, but he like, nah, just next
- 3:52Speaker 3: time you're coming to Yeah, so this is the next
- 3:55Speaker 3: time we're in town.
- 3:56Speaker 2: So we're going to do it. So let's let's Jason,
- 3:59Speaker 2: I want to start with you.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Okay, So the last time we spoke, we talked about
- 4:02Speaker 3: your journey as far as you know, starting your gym,
- 4:05Speaker 3: the trials and tribulations that you had training Rick Ross,
- 4:08Speaker 3: a bunch of other celebrities. But one thing that we
- 4:11Speaker 3: didn't really talk about was what you started, which is
- 4:14Speaker 3: the online subscription, which is really really dope for a
- 4:19Speaker 3: couple of different reasons, and obviously now because of COVID
- 4:21Speaker 3: has really took off. So let's talk about that. Let's
- 4:24Speaker 3: talk about that, Like what gave you the insight before
- 4:28Speaker 3: COVID to think, all right, I'm gonna be bigger than
- 4:31Speaker 3: just a personal trainer, bigger than just a gym owner.
- 4:34Speaker 3: I want to expand this and do something online.
- 4:37Speaker 5: So with Instagram. Like I said, I was late to
- 4:39Speaker 5: the party. Got on Instagram twenty fifteen. Everybody was already
- 4:43Speaker 5: on there. But when I started getting on their showcasing
- 4:45Speaker 5: my talent, posting my before and after pictures things I
- 4:48Speaker 5: was actually doing in the gym, it was an overwhelming
- 4:50Speaker 5: response for people saying, hey, man.
- 4:52Speaker 4: Can you train me?
- 4:52Speaker 5: Can you do Skype? Can you do FaceTime? Can we
- 4:54Speaker 5: do any kind of training? I'm like, no, you gotta
- 4:56Speaker 5: live in Atlanta. Yeah, And that just led to me
- 5:00Speaker 5: seeking some type of somebody that was already doing an
- 5:03Speaker 5: online program I.
- 5:04Speaker 6: Can team up with, you know what I mean. So
- 5:06Speaker 6: that's how that originated.
- 5:08Speaker 5: I found a guy who was doing programs, We linked
- 5:11Speaker 5: and we.
- 5:12Speaker 6: Just started, you know, we created the actual X.
- 5:14Speaker 5: It was L twenty eight at first, and that was
- 5:18Speaker 5: X twenty eight, but that's where it came from.
- 5:20Speaker 6: Man, I just couldn't reach everybody.
- 5:22Speaker 5: So many people on Instagram that wanted to get trained
- 5:25Speaker 5: and wanted to get the formula the system, and I
- 5:27Speaker 5: couldn't reach them so soon as I got online.
- 5:29Speaker 6: Like our first year, we had a girl lose one
- 5:31Speaker 6: hundred pounds via the internet, you know what I mean.
- 5:33Speaker 5: So we had so many success stories coming out the
- 5:36Speaker 5: gate to where you know, it blew up because of
- 5:39Speaker 5: the results and things.
- 5:40Speaker 4: Was the campaign already in mind before when you started,
- 5:43Speaker 4: because like part of our story was like Ernie Lisa
- 5:46Speaker 4: started as a hashtag and I know you had that
- 5:49Speaker 4: X twenty eight challenge as a hashtag. Was that the
- 5:51Speaker 4: campaign going into it? Is that something like, yo, we
- 5:53Speaker 4: can turn this into something huge if we use your hashtag.
- 5:56Speaker 6: Well, it really was my partner he came up with that.
- 5:59Speaker 5: With that part of it, you know, the actual branding
- 6:03Speaker 5: and you know, the hashtaging and things of that nature.
- 6:07Speaker 5: I was more so like the driving force, like whatever,
- 6:10Speaker 5: whatever you say, let's go put it on there, you know,
- 6:13Speaker 5: the systems, whatever.
- 6:14Speaker 6: But my partner had a lot to do with that.
- 6:17Speaker 3: So all right, So what is actly is it's like
- 6:19Speaker 3: twenty eight days of different workout that you can.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Do at home.
- 6:22Speaker 5: Absolutely so basically it's like a thirty to forty five
- 6:24Speaker 5: minute workout.
- 6:26Speaker 6: You can do it from your phone. You can do
- 6:28Speaker 6: it from a laptop whatever.
- 6:29Speaker 5: You just press play and it's a different workout every
- 6:32Speaker 5: day for twenty eight days.
- 6:34Speaker 6: It's hit Cardio.
- 6:38Speaker 4: Abs.
- 6:38Speaker 5: Let me see it's yeah, just Cardio on abs. Basically,
- 6:42Speaker 5: that's what it's folks. That's what the main form, the
- 6:45Speaker 5: main program is focused on. But again, I have a
- 6:48Speaker 5: beginner's challenge. I have an extreme challenge.
- 6:50Speaker 4: To my wife.
- 6:51Speaker 5: She has lower body blasts or brought her into it,
- 6:53Speaker 5: and her program is actually the second best selling program
- 6:56Speaker 5: on my platform.
- 6:58Speaker 3: So does it change because it's a description, right, yeah,
- 7:00Speaker 3: so it's different every month.
- 7:02Speaker 6: Every month, it's a different workout.
- 7:04Speaker 3: Soon, so do I want to talk about that? Because
- 7:05Speaker 3: I mean we did what we did before insanity?
- 7:08Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, we did.
- 7:13Speaker 3: It's different work out every day, right, Yeah, it is,
- 7:15Speaker 3: but it's but it's only like a one time thing.
- 7:18Speaker 3: It's like you're buy insanity and it's like it's for
- 7:21Speaker 3: a month, but that's it. Like you can still do
- 7:24Speaker 3: it against day time payment. So yours is interesting because
- 7:28Speaker 3: it's like every single month, right, So all right, so
- 7:31Speaker 3: what happened it changes up every month?
- 7:33Speaker 5: Or how does every every single month it's a different
- 7:35Speaker 5: workout like when we literally like.
- 7:37Speaker 6: Change the location.
- 7:38Speaker 5: We fly to Miami to shoot the next month, we
- 7:41Speaker 5: go here to shoot the next month. We might be
- 7:43Speaker 5: in the mountains the next month, you know. So the
- 7:45Speaker 5: workouts is different, the location is different, you know. So
- 7:48Speaker 5: we just try to if somebody's gonna be sitting there
- 7:49Speaker 5: staring at for thirty minutes, we got to keep them engaged.
- 7:52Speaker 4: Yeah, so it's you shooting the content. You got yourself
- 7:55Speaker 4: and some trainers. Obviously my partner that's dope.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Man.
- 7:59Speaker 4: Hell does it take to actually shoot a thirty day run?
- 8:03Speaker 5: So I'm gonna put you on some game trainers. What
- 8:07Speaker 5: we were doing, we were filming it all the way through.
- 8:10Speaker 5: We were literally pressing play and we were filming thirty
- 8:13Speaker 5: minute workouts, right, But what happening is after every workout,
- 8:17Speaker 5: it's forty seconds on, twenty seconds off, and you get
- 8:19Speaker 5: a break. So what we were doing working out for
- 8:21Speaker 5: forty seconds, taking twenty seconds off, giving them a break,
- 8:23Speaker 5: and we were doing the whole formula. Well, it's only
- 8:25Speaker 5: about twenty two exercises. So what we started doing is
- 8:29Speaker 5: filming the twenty two exercises. Now it only takes us
- 8:31Speaker 5: twenty two minutes from the twenty two exercises.
- 8:34Speaker 6: You get what I'm saying, and then we plug and
- 8:36Speaker 6: play like that.
- 8:37Speaker 4: Yeah, so you're shooting all the content and just chop
- 8:39Speaker 4: it up.
- 8:39Speaker 5: Yeah, we shoot all the content and we got a
- 8:40Speaker 5: dope editor who comes in and you know, so we're
- 8:43Speaker 5: still doing the workouts, but we're not doing the whole
- 8:45Speaker 5: day one day, two, day three. A lot of people
- 8:47Speaker 5: are doing that.
- 8:48Speaker 6: Yeah, it took us to know about a six month period,
- 8:51Speaker 6: like damn, got it be easy way to do this.
- 8:56Speaker 2: After the workout.
- 8:57Speaker 6: Each day all you know.
- 8:59Speaker 5: So we just figured it out, like, Yo, let's just
- 9:01Speaker 5: shoot how many workouts? Was it twenty two? Shoot the
- 9:04Speaker 5: twenty two workouts? Get somebody, plug and play and boom.
- 9:07Speaker 5: So now we can shoot. We can shoot three months
- 9:10Speaker 5: at a time.
- 9:10Speaker 3: That's why I was gonna ask you, like how many days?
- 9:12Speaker 3: How many months? So you shoot like a quarter, Like
- 9:15Speaker 3: you shoot three months in three days?
- 9:16Speaker 5: Yeah, so what I Yeah, that's how we do. So
- 9:18Speaker 5: we go to Miami, Right, we'll shoot one month. It
- 9:20Speaker 5: takes us a couple hours, but we'll go to Miami
- 9:23Speaker 5: and we'll shoot against the beach. Then we go on
- 9:25Speaker 5: the rooftop and then we'll go somewhere else, you know
- 9:26Speaker 5: what I mean, so that those for the next quarter.
- 9:28Speaker 6: We got those exercises already mapped out, so.
- 9:31Speaker 3: Like one month is on the beach, one month is
- 9:33Speaker 3: on the rooftop, one month is on the bay yep,
- 9:35Speaker 3: And it looks like it's different locations, and it's like
- 9:37Speaker 3: that's the month, and then in three months you'll do
- 9:39Speaker 3: it again in Arizona.
- 9:41Speaker 6: Absolutely.
- 9:41Speaker 4: Oh, you already already know all right, we gotta shoot
- 9:44Speaker 4: for the next three Yeah, so hold of you. You
- 9:46Speaker 4: actually brought this guy into the fitness game.
- 9:49Speaker 7: I did.
- 9:50Speaker 4: So he talked about that because now it's like, you
- 9:54Speaker 4: mean I've seen the workouts. Actually I actually watched you
- 9:56Speaker 4: work I said, though, this is how is she doing this?
- 9:58Speaker 4: That lower body blast is different? What is it like
- 10:01Speaker 4: when you're shooting?
- 10:03Speaker 7: So it's easy for me, to be honest, the lower
- 10:06Speaker 7: body workouts, I mean that's what I do. Glut camp.
- 10:08Speaker 7: I mean I can go, I can do anything lower
- 10:10Speaker 7: body wise and just zone out and just do it.
- 10:13Speaker 7: So it's not hard. It's just the time factor for
- 10:16Speaker 7: me because I juggle so many things. So it's when
- 10:19Speaker 7: he says, okay, we got to have this day set
- 10:21Speaker 7: aside because we got to shoot x twenty eight. It's like,
- 10:23Speaker 7: look at my calendar. Okay, cool, I can do it,
- 10:25Speaker 7: you know, and shoot it. But yeah, it's just it's
- 10:29Speaker 7: not hard. It's easier for me to do it.
- 10:31Speaker 4: It's stelf watching it.
- 10:33Speaker 7: Right, And it's so funny because the feedback there like
- 10:36Speaker 7: you're killing us this month, and I'm sitting here like
- 10:38Speaker 7: that's what I want to do is kill you. But
- 10:40Speaker 7: for me it's it's easy.
- 10:43Speaker 3: Now it's a revolutionary way to actually, because gyms were
- 10:47Speaker 3: already becoming kind of obsolete and COVID just kind of
- 10:51Speaker 3: escalated that. So it's like, now, if you can just
- 10:53Speaker 3: work out at home for thirty minutes, you don't feel
- 10:56Speaker 3: like having to go out in the cold and run
- 10:58Speaker 3: to the gym and do all of that.
- 11:00Speaker 2: And like, what's the price. What's what's the subscription price?
- 11:03Speaker 5: So it's forty nine dollars for the twenty eight day program.
- 11:07Speaker 6: All programs are the same price, forty nine dollars.
- 11:11Speaker 5: Yeah, but we run fifty percent off all the time,
- 11:15Speaker 5: Like if you get in the first week of a challenge,
- 11:17Speaker 5: it's gonna be fifty percent off. So okay, somebody saying, okay,
- 11:20Speaker 5: twenty five dollars a go You know what I mean,
- 11:23Speaker 5: it's a.
- 11:23Speaker 6: It's a go get. It's a go get.
- 11:26Speaker 2: So it's twenty five dollars a month.
- 11:29Speaker 3: How how they do they get the new content is
- 11:31Speaker 3: like a website that they log into.
- 11:33Speaker 5: So basically they go to the website. They click on
- 11:37Speaker 5: the website and then you go to your program. Okay,
- 11:39Speaker 5: I mean Extreme. I click Extreme. As soon as you
- 11:41Speaker 5: hit extreme, it has day one through twenty eight. You
- 11:44Speaker 5: go to day one, press play, and I pop up
- 11:47Speaker 5: doing jumping jacks. Know what I'm saying, Just like you know,
- 11:51Speaker 5: it's just it's it's twenty twenty. It's not like the
- 11:54Speaker 5: Deep either slide of the same, essentially the same thing.
- 11:57Speaker 5: You put it in a DVD and they do have
- 11:59Speaker 5: a year.
- 12:00Speaker 2: You just pressed play.
- 12:03Speaker 4: The first time I heard about X twenty eight, it
- 12:05Speaker 4: was Mike, before we even knew like what this was
- 12:08Speaker 4: going on. Michael's like, yeah, you gotta try this. I'm
- 12:10Speaker 4: doing this. He was like, Yo, I'm trying it. Been
- 12:12Speaker 4: I would lose the weight. I'm like, what is this statement?
- 12:14Speaker 4: He's like, Nah, this is the best work I ever.
- 12:16Speaker 4: He's like, yeah, you gotta follow this page and I
- 12:18Speaker 4: was like, oh, this is different. So your story you
- 12:21Speaker 4: told us last time on when we did the live
- 12:23Speaker 4: obviously the Johnson story. What's the ratio now with I
- 12:27Speaker 4: know like a lot of women would coming to the
- 12:28Speaker 4: boot camps and coming to the glue classes. What's that
- 12:32Speaker 4: race shield look like now? Is there more man or
- 12:34Speaker 4: is it? How we looking in terms of numbers.
- 12:36Speaker 5: As far as the physical gym location, yeah, we'll both both.
- 12:40Speaker 5: What I will say this, I have a boutique style gym,
- 12:43Speaker 5: meaning that everybody in my gym sees a trainer, you
- 12:46Speaker 5: know what I mean. The most guys go get a
- 12:48Speaker 5: partner and they going to La Fit and it's not
- 12:50Speaker 5: knowing what the hell they're doing and just work out.
- 12:52Speaker 5: I mean, like I was a guy, I just went
- 12:54Speaker 5: and hit chest every day, you know what I mean.
- 12:55Speaker 5: So in my gym, like I said, since it's more structured,
- 12:59Speaker 5: it's literally eighty percent women twenty percent guys. And the
- 13:02Speaker 5: same thing online when it comes to paying for stuff
- 13:05Speaker 5: like that, guys normally don't unless you got like a
- 13:09Speaker 5: like my boy Mike Rashid, he got like an alpha
- 13:12Speaker 5: alpha program for gud.
- 13:13Speaker 3: Shot somebody he follows us out the big.
- 13:16Speaker 6: Bro that's my man.
- 13:17Speaker 3: So HOLI let me ask you this because that's interesting
- 13:19Speaker 3: because since most of the people are women, do you
- 13:23Speaker 3: feel that as a woman, women want to see men
- 13:27Speaker 3: training them or because the reason why I asked is
- 13:30Speaker 3: I was used to work in the financial services industry
- 13:32Speaker 3: and I heard somewhere that they said that women, like
- 13:35Speaker 3: most men, want to work with men as a financial advisor.
- 13:39Speaker 3: Most women don't map it doesn't they don't mind it
- 13:42Speaker 3: being a woman or a man, like they'll work with
- 13:44Speaker 3: men or women the same. Do you think that that's
- 13:47Speaker 3: the same for training, Like, do you think women want
- 13:50Speaker 3: to work with women or see a woman instructor or
- 13:53Speaker 3: they don't mind if it's a man or a woman.
- 13:55Speaker 7: I think it's really a little bit of both.
- 13:57Speaker 1: You have.
- 13:58Speaker 7: Personally myself, I prefer to work with a man, but
- 14:01Speaker 7: I have a lot of women that will reach out
- 14:02Speaker 7: to me, Hey can you train me? I don't train
- 14:05Speaker 7: and so ill my husband does, and so you know,
- 14:07Speaker 7: they'll go on with him. So I think it's a
- 14:10Speaker 7: little bit of both. Some women they feel as if
- 14:12Speaker 7: being a woman you understand their body a little bit better.
- 14:14Speaker 7: So I want a female trainer, and then I happen
- 14:17Speaker 7: to think that a lot of the male trainers are
- 14:19Speaker 7: just a little bit more aggressive, a little bit more
- 14:21Speaker 7: you know, you know, And so depending on what's solid training,
- 14:25Speaker 7: be like you like that, you know, And so it's
- 14:27Speaker 7: like I want somebody to be on me, you be
- 14:29Speaker 7: a little harder on me. So I think it's a
- 14:31Speaker 7: little bit of both, to be honest with you, It
- 14:33Speaker 7: just depends on the person's personal preference. And I find
- 14:35Speaker 7: that women who are a little bit more timid and
- 14:39Speaker 7: shy in the gym, they want that female attention initially.
- 14:43Speaker 3: So let me ask you this because you guys, you
- 14:45Speaker 3: have a marriage obviously, but you have a business partnership
- 14:48Speaker 3: as well. But even in the business partnership, it's like
- 14:52Speaker 3: technically like if business partners even if you're not business
- 14:55Speaker 3: partners right, because it's like you said before, you was
- 14:56Speaker 3: like the gym, is is your gym just because y'all
- 14:59Speaker 3: have married, Like now I'm saying, it's like he's part
- 15:02Speaker 3: of your clothing line because y'all married. So how does that,
- 15:04Speaker 3: because a lot of couples might be listening, how does
- 15:07Speaker 3: that go in to play? As far as to say, okay,
- 15:09Speaker 3: like we're gonna talk about body envy, which is like
- 15:11Speaker 3: your your brain child, but if Jason gives input, it's
- 15:15Speaker 3: chasing your business partner in this.
- 15:17Speaker 7: Or he is he is although I didn't necessarily want
- 15:23Speaker 7: him to be, he is. He automatically just becomes it.
- 15:26Speaker 7: And it's so funny because I have someone shouts out
- 15:29Speaker 7: to iman Dad. She handles a lot of things on
- 15:32Speaker 7: Instagram for me in terms of finding influencers and things
- 15:35Speaker 7: to do marketing. She'll communicate with him like she's like,
- 15:38Speaker 7: I talked to Jason already and Jason said this, this
- 15:40Speaker 7: and that, and I'm like, but you know, you gotta
- 15:43Speaker 7: I make the final decision.
- 15:44Speaker 8: Right, you know.
- 15:44Speaker 7: So it's like, you know, automatically we're partners, no matter
- 15:47Speaker 7: if we want to be or not. But it works
- 15:50Speaker 7: because I can get complacent and when I think, Okay,
- 15:54Speaker 7: you know I've done enough, this is good enough, he's
- 15:56Speaker 7: like it's not. You're only operating at thirty three percent.
- 16:00Speaker 7: And I'm like, what do you mean I do XYZ?
- 16:02Speaker 7: And he's like, no, but you can do this, this
- 16:05Speaker 7: and that to make your business grow and be better.
- 16:08Speaker 7: And I have to admit, you know, he's been an
- 16:10Speaker 7: entrepreneur way longer than I have I'm new to the game.
- 16:12Speaker 7: He's been doing this for years, and so I got
- 16:16Speaker 7: to sometimes take a step back and be like, you
- 16:17Speaker 7: know what, Yeah, Unfortunately I don't like to hear it
- 16:21Speaker 7: all the time, but this is the best business partner
- 16:23Speaker 7: that's right.
- 16:24Speaker 5: You know.
- 16:25Speaker 4: I saw him wearing the tank town man. I said,
- 16:27Speaker 4: go ahead, yeah, So how does that work now? Especially
- 16:31Speaker 4: with COVID And we kind of spoke about it when
- 16:33Speaker 4: we walked in having that work life balance now that
- 16:36Speaker 4: kids are homeschool what has that been?
- 16:38Speaker 1: Like?
- 16:38Speaker 4: I know, you the chief, you got the business runner,
- 16:41Speaker 4: you got the gym, Like, what is that like now?
- 16:43Speaker 4: For you?
- 16:45Speaker 7: COVID has actually made things better. I hate to say
- 16:48Speaker 7: it that way, but it's allowed me personally to slope
- 16:50Speaker 7: down a little bit more so, Like you know, with
- 16:52Speaker 7: the classes. We're not doing the classes at the gym
- 16:54Speaker 7: right now obviously, so I don't have to worry about
- 16:56Speaker 7: Saturday mornings. I got to go to the gym and teach.
- 16:58Speaker 7: Whether I just got off of work, off a twenty
- 17:00Speaker 7: four hour schedule that morning, I still got to go
- 17:03Speaker 7: to the gym and do that. I don't worry about
- 17:04Speaker 7: that the kids sports, they're not doing that, right now
- 17:07Speaker 7: you know, so no Socca Mom Kingston just started football
- 17:12Speaker 7: again just this week. But you know, it was just
- 17:14Speaker 7: allowed things to kind of calm down a little bit.
- 17:16Speaker 7: Who were confined to the house. What allowed you to
- 17:18Speaker 7: really sit down and really focus on your business and
- 17:21Speaker 7: what you needed to do to grow your business, grow
- 17:23Speaker 7: as a family, and just really kind of revamp things.
- 17:26Speaker 7: It's been Although it's turned the world upside down, this virus,
- 17:29Speaker 7: it's kind of been a blessing in other areas.
- 17:31Speaker 4: That's true. Okay, Yeah, I saw Instagram trying to hate
- 17:34Speaker 4: on you. You have posted a workout video. They took
- 17:36Speaker 4: you down.
- 17:38Speaker 7: I do get me. Sometimes I'm like, plea, just let
- 17:40Speaker 7: me be great.
- 17:41Speaker 2: They sensitive there was music playing or something like that.
- 17:44Speaker 2: All music.
- 17:45Speaker 3: That's crazy, right that I want to talk about any
- 17:50Speaker 3: before I got one my question about Jay So Jason,
- 17:53Speaker 3: So the revenue model for this subscription service, like how
- 18:00Speaker 3: like what's how much money are you guys bringing in
- 18:03Speaker 3: as far as like revenue only?
- 18:06Speaker 2: No overhead?
- 18:06Speaker 5: Right, so now we have this is the thing about
- 18:09Speaker 5: online Your overhead is as big as your business.
- 18:12Speaker 6: You get what I'm saying.
- 18:13Speaker 5: So when we first started, we didn't have any overhead
- 18:15Speaker 5: because we were doing everything ourselves. Now we got a
- 18:18Speaker 5: team like literally people at cubicles answering the phone. We
- 18:21Speaker 5: got customer service, we got this.
- 18:23Speaker 2: We have customer yeah, we have.
- 18:25Speaker 4: Yeah, we have that.
- 18:26Speaker 5: We have email, like people just on hand twenty four
- 18:29Speaker 5: hours a day because it's grown so much.
- 18:32Speaker 2: People having issues with the log and stuff like that.
- 18:34Speaker 2: They got all that.
- 18:35Speaker 6: But you can at a click of it.
- 18:36Speaker 5: But by the time you finished, you will see that
- 18:37Speaker 5: bubble floating because we got somebody go. But like I
- 18:42Speaker 5: was saying before, before COVID, you know, we were doing
- 18:45Speaker 5: doing our thing. I'll discussed numbers before. You know, we
- 18:47Speaker 5: were we hit one hundred twenty thousand like the first
- 18:51Speaker 5: five months, and we never went up under that, you know,
- 18:54Speaker 5: but we just trended, you know, we got a.
- 18:55Speaker 6: Little higher, a little higher.
- 18:56Speaker 5: But since COVID hit, we went platinum baby, Okay, Like
- 19:04Speaker 5: you can see you look at my ground, you see
- 19:06Speaker 5: the private jets and all that, like it hit, you
- 19:09Speaker 5: know what I'm saying. So we are blessed, you know
- 19:12Speaker 5: what I'm saying. Fortunate And another part about X one
- 19:15Speaker 5: y I never talk about it is just the systems,
- 19:17Speaker 5: you know what I'm saying.
- 19:17Speaker 6: The same thing some of my wife. Basic just just
- 19:20Speaker 6: systems that we have put in place.
- 19:21Speaker 5: Right when I think about the online program, I think
- 19:24Speaker 5: about everything that goes along with it. I'm sending them
- 19:26Speaker 5: to the store to get supplements. Nah, I gotta start
- 19:29Speaker 5: making supplements. So we got a warehouse and we started
- 19:31Speaker 5: making supplements. I'm saying when it came to like the
- 19:34Speaker 5: sweet sweat, you know the cream? Now, I got my
- 19:36Speaker 5: own cream called LIT, and it's better.
- 19:38Speaker 6: Than sweet sweat.
- 19:39Speaker 2: What's to call LIT? What sweet sweat?
- 19:41Speaker 5: Which we sweat? It's like a cream that you put on,
- 19:43Speaker 5: you put the rapid stomach and it makes you. So
- 19:48Speaker 5: I've with us creating a seven figure business. We've also
- 19:52Speaker 5: been been able to create five other six figure businesses
- 19:56Speaker 5: within you know, I never even talk about my affiliate program,
- 19:59Speaker 5: But my affiliate we made a quarter mally dollars first year,
- 20:01Speaker 5: and that's off of we created an affiliate program for
- 20:04Speaker 5: trainers who didn't have a program. They could sign up
- 20:07Speaker 5: as an affiliate and say, Yo, you can't train with me.
- 20:09Speaker 5: I'm affiliated at X twenty eight. You can go on
- 20:12Speaker 5: here through my site, you know what I mean. They
- 20:14Speaker 5: get their own link in their bio and they sell it.
- 20:16Speaker 5: What ended up happening is we made it.
- 20:18Speaker 6: Available to the ladies who were losing weight.
- 20:21Speaker 5: Now you got soccer moms who work a whole nine
- 20:24Speaker 5: to five and this and the third they're making three
- 20:26Speaker 5: hundred dollars a month, four hundred dollars a month, and
- 20:28Speaker 5: we start looking like, damn, Tanyana made twelve hundred dollars
- 20:31Speaker 5: this month. You know what I'm saying, like, go Tanya.
- 20:33Speaker 5: You know it's like we really, you know, we're putting
- 20:35Speaker 5: money back into you know, the community too, going about
- 20:38Speaker 5: it that way because they're already telling people this is
- 20:40Speaker 5: what they're doing. They don't have nothing else to post
- 20:42Speaker 5: but transformation pictures. So now they're making money that way. So,
- 20:46Speaker 5: you know, between the affiliate program the actual gym, because
- 20:51Speaker 5: that's how we created the gym.
- 20:53Speaker 6: Through X twenty eight. I had my gym, he had
- 20:55Speaker 6: his gym. We created an online program, we got a
- 20:57Speaker 6: gym together, you know, the affiliate program.
- 21:00Speaker 5: To supplements the gym, my sweat cream, lit all that
- 21:04Speaker 5: made six figures plus, you know what I mean.
- 21:06Speaker 6: So and then we come through with another seven figure business.
- 21:10Speaker 6: You know, with the body end.
- 21:11Speaker 5: It's hers, but just household the same household, you know
- 21:15Speaker 5: what I mean, Like it's fitness multi multiple absolutely, and
- 21:20Speaker 5: it's like we were doing t shirt, we were doing.
- 21:22Speaker 6: Stuff and it's just like I had tights, I had
- 21:24Speaker 6: all that stuff.
- 21:25Speaker 5: But it's like we ain't had no time for it
- 21:26Speaker 5: is in the third and people kept sending her stuff
- 21:28Speaker 5: and it was just like she took upon herself to
- 21:31Speaker 5: do it, you know what I mean.
- 21:31Speaker 6: When she did, it just took off.
- 21:34Speaker 4: You was right, you predicted it.
- 21:35Speaker 6: Yeah, I said.
- 21:35Speaker 5: I was like, I'm like, nah, she gave him a minimum.
- 21:39Speaker 5: Let's just next time we talked, she gonna be at
- 21:40Speaker 5: a minute.
- 21:41Speaker 3: So yeah, let's go to that. So body envy, body envy.
- 21:44Speaker 3: Last time we spoke, he was killing the game. How
- 21:48Speaker 3: has things changed since then? What with COVID?
- 21:51Speaker 2: And uh, how's how's the merchandise business going for you
- 21:54Speaker 2: these days?
- 21:55Speaker 7: It's amazing it is.
- 21:58Speaker 4: We plaied them in the streets to get.
- 22:03Speaker 7: Listen. I didn't. I never dreamt that it would be
- 22:05Speaker 7: where it is right now. I really didn't. I had
- 22:07Speaker 7: no idea it would take off the way it did.
- 22:09Speaker 7: I and I have to say, when COVID hit, I
- 22:11Speaker 7: told Jason, I was like, well, no need for me
- 22:13Speaker 7: to buy more inventory because it's it's a rap right now,
- 22:15Speaker 7: I might as well just wait, sit back and see,
- 22:17Speaker 7: you know, how this thing plays out. And then I
- 22:19Speaker 7: was like, well, let me just keep doing what I'm doing,
- 22:23Speaker 7: and literally it was just skyrocketing from there. I can't
- 22:29Speaker 7: I don't want to jump ahead. I don't want to
- 22:31Speaker 7: leave some things but later. But I mean, it's just
- 22:34Speaker 7: it's it's been a blessing. It really has. People weren't
- 22:37Speaker 7: able to go to the gym. They were doing workouts
- 22:39Speaker 7: at home. But they were like, I'm gonna be dressed
- 22:41Speaker 7: doing my workouts at home. I'm gonna look good doing
- 22:43Speaker 7: my workouts at home, and you know, eventually the world
- 22:45Speaker 7: will get back to normal, so to speak, and so
- 22:48Speaker 7: I'll be ready to hit the streets and my body envy.
- 22:51Speaker 7: So they were still just buying and buying and buying,
- 22:53Speaker 7: and I'm still producing and changing things up and customizing
- 22:57Speaker 7: so I don't see body and beyond you know this
- 22:59Speaker 7: first and over there with a different name attached to it.
- 23:02Speaker 7: You know, I don't want to see that. And so
- 23:03Speaker 7: just changing things up and making it more exclusive and
- 23:07Speaker 7: setting it apart from some of the other brands that
- 23:09Speaker 7: other people have here in Atlanta. You know we're doing that.
- 23:12Speaker 7: And I'm saying we're because this is my business partner.
- 23:16Speaker 7: You know we're doing it. And I just what was
- 23:18Speaker 7: that Monday, Monday, Tuesday this week, I just signed paperwork
- 23:22Speaker 7: out for my body of your headquarters.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Yes, it's you got a physical location.
- 23:27Speaker 7: I do have a physical location coming.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Just like a drop shipping center.
- 23:33Speaker 7: So it's it's it's an office space, yes, warehouse, office space.
- 23:39Speaker 7: Of course, I'll be doing my shipments from their housing.
- 23:42Speaker 7: All the inventory there, allowing for store pickup. So not
- 23:46Speaker 7: a brick and mortar to viccent where they can come
- 23:49Speaker 7: there and shot, but they can they can pick they
- 23:51Speaker 7: can pick it up. Yeah, tensatively the end of next month.
- 23:58Speaker 4: Well that's quick. Yeah, I ain't playing.
- 24:00Speaker 7: Yeah, it hasn't even been a year in business yet,
- 24:02Speaker 7: I'm still this is still this is new.
- 24:07Speaker 5: In the.
- 24:09Speaker 7: Boxes, total chaos right now.
- 24:11Speaker 4: So it started out as apparel, but have you moved
- 24:14Speaker 4: into the aquesce like when you were working out, there's
- 24:16Speaker 4: like some equipment pieces now too.
- 24:18Speaker 7: So I have resistance bans and and that's actually how
- 24:21Speaker 7: I started was with resistance bands. Initially it was just
- 24:24Speaker 7: because I did I do lower body blasts with X
- 24:27Speaker 7: twenty eight and then with glue camp it was let
- 24:29Speaker 7: me get my own fabric resistance bans, and so I
- 24:31Speaker 7: had that first and that's how I started with e commerce,
- 24:34Speaker 7: was with that. And so every now and then I'll
- 24:37Speaker 7: put it back online with body Envy. But truly it's
- 24:40Speaker 7: mainly apparel.
- 24:41Speaker 4: So the only place can is it the place the
- 24:43Speaker 4: only place they can get it at the website or
- 24:45Speaker 4: is it like if I go on Amazon, I type
- 24:47Speaker 4: in body Envy, it'll be up there too.
- 24:49Speaker 7: It's coming, that's on the way. Amazon is on the way.
- 24:52Speaker 2: So let me as.
- 24:55Speaker 3: Before I used I know he was getting merchandise from
- 24:57Speaker 3: Ali Baba, which is located it's a China.
- 25:00Speaker 2: It's like the Chinese Amazon. Anybody's not familiar.
- 25:03Speaker 3: So with COVID, especially at the beginning stages of COVID,
- 25:05Speaker 3: a lot of shipments from China wasn't coming or it
- 25:08Speaker 3: was delayed whatever, how that affect.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Did you get a new supplier or I did.
- 25:12Speaker 7: So I found two suppliers in La Okay. But I
- 25:15Speaker 7: have to say everything slowed down, even the La connects
- 25:18Speaker 7: although they're in the United States. Everything slowed down, and
- 25:21Speaker 7: so we did take a hit, so to speak, with
- 25:24Speaker 7: the inventory because we had to wait.
- 25:25Speaker 6: Shout out to my boy Barn Pakistan shot shout them, yeah.
- 25:34Speaker 7: Connect now. So I still do utilize the Allei Boba.
- 25:37Speaker 7: I still utilize my California connects as well. And now
- 25:40Speaker 7: I have somebody in Pakistan and we still have delays.
- 25:44Speaker 7: But what I do is I just order so much
- 25:47Speaker 7: so that when the delays hit, it's I got this
- 25:49Speaker 7: coming from here, this coming from there. So I never
- 25:51Speaker 7: have a dead area whatsoever because something is always coming.
- 25:56Speaker 6: But she got time to the real quick the Shopify story.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Of course, let's do it because some people the first
- 26:04Speaker 2: running back.
- 26:08Speaker 7: Yeah okay, So I purchased the resistance vans for my class.
- 26:12Speaker 2: That's what it was for. This is how it originally started.
- 26:15Speaker 7: Yes, this is the beginning of Hallani being an entrepreneur.
- 26:19Speaker 7: Period before Body and Nobody v was even going to exist,
- 26:22Speaker 7: it was just teaching glue Camp. I'm using Latex resistance
- 26:25Speaker 7: vans from a company that sent them to me, and
- 26:28Speaker 7: I'm like, we got to try something different. Went to
- 26:31Speaker 7: Ali Baba, ordered my fabric resistance bands, had them customized.
- 26:34Speaker 7: They say, glue Camp Atlanta on it at the loft,
- 26:38Speaker 7: got them in. Jason is like, you need to sell
- 26:39Speaker 7: these things online. I didn't buying him sell them a line.
- 26:42Speaker 7: It sounds like I only had one hundred of them
- 26:45Speaker 7: my bottom for my class. He's like, man, set up
- 26:47Speaker 7: a shopify. I didn't even know what a shopify was,
- 26:49Speaker 7: you guys, it's like, what is that? Go to shopaa
- 26:52Speaker 7: dot com. I did once Shopify literally set up the
- 26:55Speaker 7: account in five minutes. I want in my closet on
- 26:58Speaker 7: the hardwood, took a picture of the band, put it
- 27:00Speaker 7: on the site, put it in my story like Resistance
- 27:03Speaker 7: vands available. Went to sleep, walk up the next morning
- 27:06Speaker 7: and it was probably midnight when o't to sleep. But
- 27:08Speaker 7: I had to go to work the next day. So
- 27:09Speaker 7: I walk up at four forty. It already made over
- 27:11Speaker 7: four hundred dollars in those four hours, and so.
- 27:14Speaker 6: I'm like, I told you, I told you.
- 27:19Speaker 7: He loves to hear that he told me. But I'm like,
- 27:22Speaker 7: I made over four hundred dollars and I'm almost sold
- 27:25Speaker 7: out of this stuff, you know. So I went to work.
- 27:27Speaker 7: Needless to say, I had made over a thousand dollars
- 27:29Speaker 7: in less than twenty four hours. And I'm like, that's
- 27:32Speaker 7: pretty good. You know, I made five times what I
- 27:36Speaker 7: spent on this stuff. And this was not my initial
- 27:39Speaker 7: intention was to do this. It was to heaven for
- 27:41Speaker 7: my class, you know. And so with that that allowed
- 27:45Speaker 7: me to see the power of e commerce and the
- 27:47Speaker 7: power of what you can do online versus everything being
- 27:51Speaker 7: you know, face to face. Is that all you want
- 27:53Speaker 7: me to.
- 27:53Speaker 6: Tell it in Shopify? Not only that, but like when
- 27:58Speaker 6: you do so much number a lot of people don't know.
- 28:01Speaker 6: We didn't know. Oh yeah, Shopify hit us with the
- 28:04Speaker 6: first loan, what was it?
- 28:05Speaker 7: Yeah, so so And this came from just talking to
- 28:08Speaker 7: other people too, So you know, there was a lot
- 28:10Speaker 7: of things I didn't even know about. Shopify just even
- 28:12Speaker 7: shouts out to support black colleges. I met with Justin
- 28:17Speaker 7: and they have a clothing apparel line for college students.
- 28:22Speaker 7: And met with him at the gym and he's like,
- 28:24Speaker 7: he looked at my Shopify and he's like, hey, you
- 28:26Speaker 7: don't have all these apps integrated into Shopify that you
- 28:29Speaker 7: need for your website. I had no clue any of that,
- 28:32Speaker 7: and I was using all my capital to just keep
- 28:35Speaker 7: pouring back into my business.
- 28:37Speaker 8: You know.
- 28:38Speaker 7: He was like Shopify offer you a loan when they
- 28:41Speaker 7: see the amount of money that you're bringing in, the
- 28:42Speaker 7: amount of money that you're making off of their platform.
- 28:45Speaker 7: I had no idea. I went to the area where
- 28:47Speaker 7: he said, and there was loans waiting, three different ones.
- 28:50Speaker 7: It was forty six thousand, ninety three and one hundred
- 28:52Speaker 7: and twenty six thousand, and I'm like, I didn't even
- 28:54Speaker 7: know that was sitting there. And that was actually an
- 28:57Speaker 7: option from Shopify.
- 28:58Speaker 3: From Shopify, you have to reach how much money do
- 29:01Speaker 3: you have to like bring in to get that? Is
- 29:03Speaker 3: it like a certain threshold or.
- 29:04Speaker 7: I don't know what the specifics are. It was sitting there,
- 29:09Speaker 7: like do you want this? And so the first time,
- 29:11Speaker 7: you know, I was real conservative. I was like, I'm
- 29:13Speaker 7: let me do the forty thousand dollars clear, yes, right,
- 29:17Speaker 7: So I did it and literally in two business days
- 29:19Speaker 7: that forty thousand was in my account.
- 29:21Speaker 2: Wow.
- 29:22Speaker 7: And so, you know, it was things like that that
- 29:24Speaker 7: we had no idea. I'm just using my money. I'm
- 29:26Speaker 7: just wiping my freaking debit card to do what I
- 29:28Speaker 7: needed to do. Not realize that I can use this.
- 29:30Speaker 7: And what they do is they take seventeen percent of
- 29:33Speaker 7: your daily sales to pay it back.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Oh so it's not is it an interest rate too?
- 29:37Speaker 7: A very small, very very small interest rate. And when
- 29:40Speaker 7: I say, you don't even notice what they're taken from
- 29:42Speaker 7: from you.
- 29:43Speaker 4: So after you paid, so they taken seventeen percent after
- 29:46Speaker 4: you paid a forty back and then you call it,
- 29:48Speaker 4: will have for another moan? Or how's that work?
- 29:49Speaker 7: So when you get to I want to say, it's
- 29:52Speaker 7: fifteen percent that you have left to pay, they'll offer
- 29:56Speaker 7: you another loan.
- 29:57Speaker 6: I need two hundred, They'll.
- 30:00Speaker 7: Offer you another loan. And that's the game changer in itself,
- 30:03Speaker 7: because you know, for a lot of people who have
- 30:06Speaker 7: these businesses, that's all they have, you know, Thank goodness,
- 30:09Speaker 7: we had what he has going on. And then, of
- 30:11Speaker 7: course with my fire department, body Envy was literally my
- 30:15Speaker 7: side business, that's what I called it, initially, my little
- 30:18Speaker 7: side business. And not realizing that my little side business
- 30:21Speaker 7: makes more for me monthly than my entire salary for
- 30:24Speaker 7: the year from the fire department, you know, and so
- 30:27Speaker 7: realizing that those other tools are options helped to fund
- 30:31Speaker 7: your business and helped to grow it. Who knew?
- 30:34Speaker 4: I think the last the last time we spoke, I
- 30:35Speaker 4: think our last words were you like you asked me
- 30:37Speaker 4: if I'm still teaching and I said yes. I said,
- 30:40Speaker 4: you are still in the fire department. You said yeah,
- 30:42Speaker 4: and I said maybe in a yeale south and you
- 30:44Speaker 4: said yeah, I think we're retired here too. So are
- 30:47Speaker 4: we there?
- 30:47Speaker 2: So did you? Did you stop teaching? That's the first question.
- 30:50Speaker 4: I have taken the year off, so clap it up
- 30:58Speaker 4: for that. So let's put you on the spot. Now
- 31:06Speaker 4: are we still.
- 31:10Speaker 7: So I'm still there, I'm still there, you know. Okay,
- 31:12Speaker 7: this is my thing. So eighteen years in at this
- 31:15Speaker 7: point I need to do twenty. I need to do twenty.
- 31:18Speaker 7: The reason I need to do twenty is to really
- 31:20Speaker 7: really solidify this pension that I have worked eighteen years for.
- 31:24Speaker 7: And that's the big picture I think too. What people
- 31:26Speaker 7: need to hear also is you can be an entrepreneur
- 31:29Speaker 7: and still keep your nine to five. That's what you choose,
- 31:31Speaker 7: you know, because at the end of the day, one
- 31:33Speaker 7: of the biggest expenses for entrepreneurs is health insurance pay
- 31:37Speaker 7: for We don't have to worry about can we go
- 31:39Speaker 7: to the doctor? Can our kids go to the doctor?
- 31:41Speaker 7: You know it's there, And I have a pension So
- 31:43Speaker 7: when I turn fifty years old, every single month on
- 31:46Speaker 7: the first I got this amount coming to my account
- 31:48Speaker 7: every single month like clockwork. So eighteen years in, I
- 31:52Speaker 7: need to do twenty to really maximize what I have
- 31:54Speaker 7: done in these eighteen years. So two more years, two more.
- 32:00Speaker 6: Joe was working side hustle until the ride was your
- 32:02Speaker 6: main hustle.
- 32:03Speaker 5: And I tell you, she works twenty four hour shift,
- 32:06Speaker 5: gets offt work and she got a stack this high.
- 32:09Speaker 5: I'm telling my slippers she gotta take and package them
- 32:11Speaker 5: and go hundreds of orders or not anymore. Well, we
- 32:14Speaker 5: got help nowt But you know, the initial grind was
- 32:18Speaker 5: that was working twenty four hour shifts and coming home
- 32:21Speaker 5: and I just hear her the fax machine or whatever
- 32:24Speaker 5: that machine is upstairs, label printer, just.
- 32:26Speaker 6: Just printing, you know what I mean.
- 32:28Speaker 5: But you know, to anybody that's watching this, man, if
- 32:30Speaker 5: you're working your job, you know that's a that's just
- 32:33Speaker 5: solid advice. You know, let you let your side hustle
- 32:36Speaker 5: start riding your main hustle before you just get out
- 32:38Speaker 5: of there and bail, you know what I mean, Damn
- 32:39Speaker 5: near make it to where you gotta leave.
- 32:42Speaker 4: That's just my.
- 32:42Speaker 6: Opinion, you know, what I mean. Yeah, definitely when your
- 32:44Speaker 6: bills has covered things of that nature.
- 32:47Speaker 3: So as far as the merch are you ordering it
- 32:50Speaker 3: like already done is print like the logo, everything is
- 32:53Speaker 3: already printed on it, and all you gotta do is
- 32:54Speaker 3: ship it.
- 32:55Speaker 7: Yes. Now, Prior to I was pressing everything myself.
- 32:59Speaker 2: Okay, so literally I have the.
- 33:04Speaker 7: I'm printing out the labels, creating the labels, printing the
- 33:06Speaker 7: labels out, peeling that crap, pressing it on there. I
- 33:10Speaker 7: have two heat presses. I mean, we had a whole
- 33:13Speaker 7: factory going, and I was killing myself from the twenty
- 33:16Speaker 7: four hour ships coming home having to pressed stuff package it. Then,
- 33:20Speaker 7: like he said, I had stacks of labels. I had
- 33:22Speaker 7: to get this stuff shipped out, and we're doing it.
- 33:23Speaker 7: I had the kids involved. I mean it was like
- 33:25Speaker 7: home on. Everybody put upstairs. We got to get this done,
- 33:28Speaker 7: you know. And I was really really killing myself. It
- 33:30Speaker 7: became where my business was. I wasn't enjoyable because it
- 33:36Speaker 7: was so much work to do. So now got smart.
- 33:39Speaker 7: So everything comes already labeled up, packaged up, and all
- 33:43Speaker 7: we got to do is just ship it. And I
- 33:44Speaker 7: don't even ship anymore. I have hired full time help
- 33:47Speaker 7: and so now that's done too, so I can, you know,
- 33:50Speaker 7: take a step back and handle them behind the scenes
- 33:52Speaker 7: stuff versus being so hands on with everything.
- 33:55Speaker 3: So even though it's more money, So like, just give
- 33:57Speaker 3: me an example, like a shirt, Like if you had
- 33:59Speaker 3: to print it, how much would it be as opposed
- 34:02Speaker 3: to just having it already printed and all you got
- 34:05Speaker 3: to do is mail it.
- 34:06Speaker 7: It actually saves me money having them print it because
- 34:09Speaker 7: I would have to buy the vinyl, and the vinyl
- 34:11Speaker 7: you're buying big rings of it that might cost me
- 34:13Speaker 7: one hundred and fifty to two hundred dollars for those
- 34:15Speaker 7: rings on top of just the time that I was
- 34:19Speaker 7: putting in doing it. Whereas with China having them do it,
- 34:23Speaker 7: they might charge me just one hundred dollars flat one
- 34:26Speaker 7: time because I have manufacturers that I use constantly, so
- 34:29Speaker 7: they'll charge me one time and that's to create the
- 34:32Speaker 7: mold for the logo. After that, they just do it.
- 34:34Speaker 7: I don't even hate it.
- 34:36Speaker 4: This episode is brought to you by P and C Bank.

- 36:27Speaker 10: Coach, the energy out there felt different. What changed for
- 36:30Speaker 10: the team today?
- 36:30Speaker 9: It was the new game day scratches from the California
- 36:33Speaker 9: Lottery players.
- 36:34Speaker 4: Everything.
- 36:34Speaker 9: Those games sent the team's energy through the roof.
- 36:36Speaker 10: Are you saying it was the off field play that
- 36:38Speaker 10: made the difference on the field.
- 36:40Speaker 9: Hey, little play makes your day, and today it made
- 36:42Speaker 9: the game. That's all for now, Coach, one more question.
- 36:45Speaker 10: Play the new Los Angeles Chargers, San Francisco forty nine
- 36:48Speaker 10: ers and Los Angeles Rams scratchers from the California Lottery.
- 36:52Speaker 10: A little play can make your day. Peace, pay responsibily.
- 36:55Speaker 10: Must be eighteen years or older to purchase plate or
- 36:56Speaker 10: claim for it anymore.
- 36:58Speaker 4: Real Superwoman another thing that he said, Superwoman man doing
- 37:02Speaker 4: all that doing Bible study. I saw the other night,
- 37:05Speaker 4: and I saw that. I saw the guy who was
- 37:09Speaker 4: looking I we ain't gonna bring up the guy who
- 37:10Speaker 4: was trying to record and mess it up. But so
- 37:13Speaker 4: having the kids there and watching y'all hustle like this,
- 37:16Speaker 4: I mean, do you see entrepreneurism? And is this something
- 37:18Speaker 4: that they are looking to do in the future or
- 37:20Speaker 4: they're gonna be running these businesses?
- 37:22Speaker 5: Well, my son, it was already in them, like he was.
- 37:26Speaker 5: I look up at the barbershop. He went to the barber.
- 37:28Speaker 6: She went to tell the story real quick.
- 37:31Speaker 5: He went to the dropping them off at the barbershop,
- 37:33Speaker 5: and I go back to pick him up, and I'm
- 37:34Speaker 5: looking at her like that was taking a long time.
- 37:36Speaker 5: I'm looking in the door, and he got a brooms
- 37:39Speaker 5: sweeping around them.
- 37:39Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying.
- 37:40Speaker 5: That the boy ain't show up that day, so he's
- 37:42Speaker 5: sweeping the barbershop getting paid, you know what I mean.
- 37:44Speaker 5: So it got to a point where he was like, da,
- 37:46Speaker 5: can you tell me the barber shop make some money? Okay,
- 37:49Speaker 5: So you know that's kind of him. My daughter she
- 37:52Speaker 5: ordered some lighters or something.
- 37:54Speaker 4: They're dimbling and dabbling in it.
- 37:55Speaker 6: Now just from seeing us, Like my daughter ordered something
- 37:59Speaker 6: some lighters or something.
- 38:00Speaker 7: Yeah, some I don't even know what they are, but
- 38:02Speaker 7: there's some lighters that the kids use or whatever, all
- 38:04Speaker 7: these kids smoking.
- 38:05Speaker 6: But anyways, but.
- 38:08Speaker 7: My son, for sure, he's been like a hustler since
- 38:12Speaker 7: he's too. I mean, you see it in them, and
- 38:14Speaker 7: his whole thing is he wants to take over whatever
- 38:16Speaker 7: daddy's doing. So yeah, my daughter, she's dibbling, dabbling, trying
- 38:20Speaker 7: to find her way. You know, when they see our
- 38:22Speaker 7: back office, it's unreal to them. And so when they
- 38:25Speaker 7: see what you can do, you know, just working for
- 38:28Speaker 7: yourself and finding things that you like in a way
- 38:31Speaker 7: that you can impact people, because we're impacting people with
- 38:33Speaker 7: our businesses, you know, and so when they see that,
- 38:36Speaker 7: it's like I want to do it too. They're just
- 38:38Speaker 7: trying to figure out how Kingston is like, I'm doing
- 38:41Speaker 7: what daddy's doing. Riley is like, let me find my
- 38:43Speaker 7: lane and we'll go from there. But I definitely can
- 38:46Speaker 7: see them being entrepreneurs as well, the option to do it, Yeah, exactly.
- 38:50Speaker 3: So when you was we talked before, you said, like
- 38:52Speaker 3: your marketing originally was like influencers Instagram influences. They helped
- 38:55Speaker 3: push the brand. You still doubling down on that, Like,
- 38:58Speaker 3: what's the marketing for both programs, for the for the
- 39:01Speaker 3: fitness program and for the for the clothing brand. How
- 39:04Speaker 3: are you getting the word to the people? How are
- 39:06Speaker 3: you market Is it paid the ads? Is it influencers? Like,
- 39:08Speaker 3: what's the deal?
- 39:10Speaker 5: Well, we got a team, shouts out to Leon. We
- 39:13Speaker 5: got a guy who run our Facebook ads going crazy.
- 39:16Speaker 5: Just to give an example, like with ads, a lot
- 39:19Speaker 5: of time, like when we first started doing our ads
- 39:21Speaker 5: with X twenty eight, we were just flipping money. We
- 39:24Speaker 5: were spending thirty thousand dollars making seventy thousand dollars.
- 39:26Speaker 6: Thought we were winning.
- 39:27Speaker 5: We hired a company, you know, and now it's three
- 39:30Speaker 5: times that amount, you know, thirty thousand and making three
- 39:32Speaker 5: hundred thousand.
- 39:33Speaker 6: You know, So we just didn't know that. So when
- 39:36Speaker 6: it comes to like her business, same thing, you know,
- 39:39Speaker 6: get the experts to do it.
- 39:40Speaker 4: You know.
- 39:40Speaker 6: I looked at Demi dot com, I looked at everything,
- 39:43Speaker 6: trying to learn it myself, but I would rather go
- 39:45Speaker 6: pay an expert, you know. I mean, so that's what
- 39:46Speaker 6: we did. We got a guy who does the Facebook ads.
- 39:49Speaker 6: We got a girl who go get the influencers for it.
- 39:51Speaker 2: That's just her job, that's what she just reaches out.
- 39:53Speaker 5: All she does is DM influencers and tell us yeah,
- 39:56Speaker 5: and they, you know, come back with astronomical prices.
- 40:00Speaker 3: Negotiate what has been more effective, the influencers or the
- 40:04Speaker 3: Facebook ads ads?
- 40:07Speaker 4: Undefeated?
- 40:07Speaker 7: Yeah, because with me with body Envy, initially started, I
- 40:11Speaker 7: was the face. I am the face of body Envy.
- 40:13Speaker 7: But it was me constantly promoting the brand. And then
- 40:17Speaker 7: it was okay, let's look to some influencers. But of
- 40:19Speaker 7: course that's trial and error. You'll think, Okay, someone has
- 40:22Speaker 7: a million followers, so surely they're gonna drive traffic to
- 40:25Speaker 7: your business. That they do nothing for you. I mean
- 40:27Speaker 7: absolutely not. And so that's so touch and goal depending
- 40:31Speaker 7: on who you utilize. So Jason kept telling me you
- 40:33Speaker 7: need to start running ads, and I'm looking at him like, no,
- 40:36Speaker 7: I'm not running ads. I don't want to spend that
- 40:37Speaker 7: money on ads. I don't want to do it. Finally, finally,
- 40:41Speaker 7: it's been four this is a fourth month with running ads,
- 40:44Speaker 7: and I might spend whatever I spend, I'm going to
- 40:47Speaker 7: make six to seven times whatever I spend.
- 40:51Speaker 4: So you got to say, I told you.
- 40:56Speaker 7: Don't encourage.
- 40:59Speaker 6: Wait, we already did.
- 41:00Speaker 4: Let's go, let's go.
- 41:02Speaker 7: I give him so much pushback sometimes, but I'm like,
- 41:04Speaker 7: I'm looking at the numbers and I know what they
- 41:06Speaker 7: spend on ads for X twenty eight and I'm like,
- 41:08Speaker 7: I don't want to do that right now, not realizing
- 41:10Speaker 7: that it was going to do what it did for
- 41:12Speaker 7: my business. And so like he said, shouts out to
- 41:14Speaker 7: Leon when Leon sends me my graphs at the end
- 41:18Speaker 7: of the month and he's showing me exactly which ads
- 41:21Speaker 7: did what, and I'm looking at those conversions, and I'm like, whoa,
- 41:24Speaker 7: who knew. So now I don't really utilize influencer marketing
- 41:28Speaker 7: because I don't have to because he's getting he's pushing
- 41:30Speaker 7: my brand to people who they might not follow. Those people,
- 41:33Speaker 7: you know, it's the moms who are sitting in the
- 41:36Speaker 7: house that don't follow the celebrities so to speak. They're
- 41:39Speaker 7: just following you, you know, their friends on social media
- 41:42Speaker 7: and they're seeing it and they're able to buy. And
- 41:44Speaker 7: so the ads changed the game.
- 41:46Speaker 2: It really did the Facebook ads work.
- 41:50Speaker 3: It's like somebody said to us, like if I gave
- 41:52Speaker 3: you a dollar and you gave me back five How
- 41:54Speaker 3: many dollars would you give me?
- 42:00Speaker 6: That's exactly how exactly how it works.
- 42:03Speaker 5: And I tell people but even like with the Instagram adds,
- 42:06Speaker 5: I always use Alex for example, like if you know,
- 42:09Speaker 5: you know, you know, I was being and Alex.
- 42:10Speaker 6: To run ass he wouldn't do it, wouldn't do it.
- 42:12Speaker 5: Now his ad got getting him like ten times, as
- 42:15Speaker 5: you know, I mean, shout ou out to Alex. But
- 42:16Speaker 5: before then, what he was doing was when he had
- 42:19Speaker 5: eight thousand followers. I remember Alex had videos with one
- 42:22Speaker 5: hundred thousand views.
- 42:23Speaker 6: How the hell is he getting?
- 42:25Speaker 4: Is he just feeding?
- 42:26Speaker 5: He'll make an ad and just feed it, put one
- 42:28Speaker 5: hundred hundred dollars behind it, and after the seven days,
- 42:31Speaker 5: would you like to do it again?
- 42:32Speaker 6: And he just kept feeding his way at this ad.
- 42:34Speaker 5: Making all the money on Instagram, you know what I mean.
- 42:36Speaker 5: But a lot of people think that you have to
- 42:38Speaker 5: have a large following. You got to know people, you
- 42:41Speaker 5: gotta know, you gotta know what you're doing, you gotta
- 42:43Speaker 5: do You need to be watching earn your leisure.
- 42:46Speaker 4: So you might have to watch, watch, watch what the
- 42:49Speaker 4: guys are doing. You know what I'm saying.
- 42:51Speaker 5: And that works for our business too, you know what
- 42:53Speaker 5: I mean, Like you just said, we literally sat down
- 42:55Speaker 5: with support Black Colleges. Within the first five minutes of
- 42:59Speaker 5: that hour conversation, he saved us thousands of dollars with shipping.
- 43:02Speaker 7: Yeah, just for shipping.
- 43:03Speaker 6: The first five minutes of conversation.
- 43:05Speaker 7: I was just like, it's like, you're spending how much
- 43:07Speaker 7: y're shipping?
- 43:08Speaker 2: What did you do the cut chipping costs?
- 43:11Speaker 7: Say that again?
- 43:12Speaker 6: Did you do the cutch shipping cast?
- 43:13Speaker 8: Oh?
- 43:13Speaker 2: So what I did?
- 43:14Speaker 7: I had everything going out priority mail, Everything was priority.
- 43:18Speaker 7: He was like, you don't have to have everything going
- 43:19Speaker 7: out priorities.
- 43:20Speaker 2: Regular MA just regular mail.
- 43:21Speaker 7: At the end the end of the day, it's gonna
- 43:22Speaker 7: get there, you know.
- 43:24Speaker 4: And so you just got to wait two days. Priority
- 43:25Speaker 4: means like one of two days versus.
- 43:27Speaker 7: Yeah, one to two days, regular mail is three to three.
- 43:30Speaker 7: You might wait one more day. And with COVID, priority
- 43:33Speaker 7: mail is not guaranteed to get there anyway, you know.
- 43:36Speaker 7: And so he saved me five six dollars per packet.
- 43:40Speaker 2: Why did you Why would you do a priority You
- 43:41Speaker 2: just wanted to.
- 43:42Speaker 5: Just have it.
- 43:42Speaker 7: I didn't know, we know, I did not know. Literally
- 43:45Speaker 7: it was well this sounds good. You know, once two
- 43:47Speaker 7: days it gets there. So I'm gonna choose that.
- 43:48Speaker 2: I must. I must be real cheap because I always
- 43:50Speaker 2: do that.
- 43:51Speaker 4: Like I.
- 43:53Speaker 3: Like, I'm like, I just watch it. I say, whatever
- 43:55Speaker 3: the cheapest option is, that's what I want to do.
- 43:57Speaker 3: Like you sure, I'm like, yes, option, Yeah.
- 44:01Speaker 5: Cool.
- 44:02Speaker 7: I was so ignorant too, but I didn't even know
- 44:03Speaker 7: there was another option.
- 44:05Speaker 2: Oh, you know, you're just rich, that's all.
- 44:06Speaker 4: It's different. You got a different type of.
- 44:11Speaker 6: Good man.
- 44:11Speaker 2: You know you didn't. You didn't have to get the stamps.
- 44:14Speaker 2: It's all good. You appreciate take this to the mail
- 44:16Speaker 2: for me, send it first class or whatever. Trumpets and
- 44:21Speaker 2: an eagle.
- 44:21Speaker 4: But she got hundreds of packages.
- 44:23Speaker 6: She's doing that with just going I'm talking about day,
- 44:28Speaker 6: hundreds of packages.
- 44:29Speaker 7: I did that for months. I did that from months
- 44:31Speaker 7: because I just did not know. I had no idea.
- 44:33Speaker 7: So it was literally, you know, taking the time to
- 44:36Speaker 7: reach out to somebody else in this industry, not in
- 44:39Speaker 7: the same exact industry that I'm in, because I can't
- 44:41Speaker 7: expect for that person to feed me the game, so
- 44:44Speaker 7: to speak. But he literally sat down with me and
- 44:46Speaker 7: was like, hey, you need these apps, things like just
- 44:49Speaker 7: so when something's out of stock, back in stock apps,
- 44:52Speaker 7: so they get notified when it comes back in stock.
- 44:54Speaker 7: Little things that you know you see all the time
- 44:56Speaker 7: when you're shopping online. But why you're not integrating it
- 44:59Speaker 7: into your own business, you know, But a lot of
- 45:01Speaker 7: times you just don't know that that's an option to
- 45:03Speaker 7: do it. You think these are big brands and so
- 45:05Speaker 7: that's why they have these options and not realizing that
- 45:07Speaker 7: you can have them too. And so he gave me
- 45:09Speaker 7: eleven different apps to add onto my platform, and I
- 45:13Speaker 7: reached out shout out to Continental g He handles all
- 45:16Speaker 7: my web stuff for me and he integrated everything for me,
- 45:20Speaker 7: and so it's done. Now they have all the different options.
- 45:24Speaker 7: They have the timer when they check out, they have
- 45:26Speaker 7: you know, when something comes back and sock.
- 45:27Speaker 2: So what's the system that you haven't like? All right,
- 45:29Speaker 2: I go to bodynv dot com.
- 45:33Speaker 4: App.
- 45:34Speaker 7: Okay they have an app now?
- 45:35Speaker 3: So yeah, all right, So I go I ordered something.
- 45:42Speaker 3: Now what happens? It goes to your assistant or somebody
- 45:47Speaker 3: they get it. And what's the process.
- 45:50Speaker 7: So I have an assistant who works She works Monday
- 45:54Speaker 7: through Thursday. That's her schedule. She only works five hours
- 45:56Speaker 7: a day. It's all that's necessary. And say, for instance,
- 45:59Speaker 7: today orders came in today. When she comes to work
- 46:02Speaker 7: on Monday, she logs in, she sees all the orders
- 46:05Speaker 7: that have come So she's gonna ship out Friday, Saturday,
- 46:08Speaker 7: Sunday orders on Monday go out Monday, she'll come in
- 46:11Speaker 7: she's gonna do I'm sorry Tuesday, she's gonna do Monday's orders.
- 46:14Speaker 7: So she's always like a day behind. So she'll ship
- 46:18Speaker 7: out the orders. So if you're getting their orders very quickly,
- 46:20Speaker 7: and if something has to be pressed, so to speak,
- 46:24Speaker 7: if something comes in and God forgive forbid, they forgot
- 46:26Speaker 7: to put the lowbo on it, she'll handle that. But
- 46:29Speaker 7: she handles everything as far as shipping, as far as
- 46:32Speaker 7: the handling of it. My marketing manager city. If they
- 46:35Speaker 7: have a discrepancy with something, they got the wrong size,
- 46:38Speaker 7: or they didn't like it, she handles that aspect of things.
- 46:41Speaker 7: So she'll respond to all the emails, she'll respond to
- 46:43Speaker 7: all the dms. I don't touch any of that, none
- 46:47Speaker 7: of that. Literally. I get a report at the end
- 46:48Speaker 7: of the day, like these are the things that took place,
- 46:51Speaker 7: These are the issues that we might have had today.
- 46:52Speaker 7: This is how I address them, and that's that love.
- 46:56Speaker 4: So ja, I'm gonna put you on the spot.
- 46:57Speaker 7: Man.
- 46:57Speaker 4: Body envy is doing well, a lot of streams coming in.
- 47:00Speaker 4: Do we have a male version in the works or
- 47:03Speaker 4: is that something that you're thinking about?
- 47:06Speaker 5: You know what? We were playing with a couple of
- 47:09Speaker 5: pieces again, Like I say something about guys, I don't know.
- 47:13Speaker 5: It's different, wear the old shirt, cut sleeves off, I
- 47:17Speaker 5: do it, you know what I mean? Like I get
- 47:19Speaker 5: fresh too at the gym, but I'm rare, you know
- 47:21Speaker 5: what I mean. I go to gym dead fresh, but
- 47:23Speaker 5: majority of the guys gonna put on.
- 47:25Speaker 4: A T shirt. I don't care.
- 47:26Speaker 6: Yeah, they just yeah.
- 47:28Speaker 7: So it's not really it's a little harder to reach
- 47:30Speaker 7: the guy market. So you know, we got a few tanks.
- 47:32Speaker 7: We might do T shirts, but I don't think. I'm
- 47:35Speaker 7: not going to say we won't. But it's not like
- 47:38Speaker 7: on the priority.
- 47:38Speaker 4: List right now, gotcha?
- 47:39Speaker 3: Yeah, it's keeping like I always heard with clothes, you
- 47:43Speaker 3: don't want to have too many different options. It's better
- 47:45Speaker 3: to have like fewer options. Is that your philosophy or
- 47:49Speaker 3: all right?
- 47:51Speaker 5: I would so like this shirt right here, This is
- 47:54Speaker 5: my shirt were CEOs right, and we just have this
- 47:57Speaker 5: shirt we have in different colors and it's going crazy.
- 48:00Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying is doing this thing I
- 48:01Speaker 6: think about Maddy j c L.
- 48:05Speaker 2: Shirt assets over liabilities.
- 48:07Speaker 6: Asset change the color, guys, get guys gonna buy these shirts,
- 48:13Speaker 6: you know what I'm saying.
- 48:14Speaker 4: So they're gonna work out in these shirts.
- 48:16Speaker 7: Wear different women are different. We want a variety, you know,
- 48:20Speaker 7: with ath leisure were I mean, you can wear this
- 48:22Speaker 7: stuff whether you want to the gym, here, doing the podcast.
- 48:25Speaker 7: You know howeful way you want to change it up,
- 48:27Speaker 7: I'll put it almost some slides in a bag and go,
- 48:29Speaker 7: you know. And so we need more options because we
- 48:33Speaker 7: wear it for different things. It's not literally just dedicated
- 48:35Speaker 7: to just going to the gym. Yes, ath leisure wear,
- 48:39Speaker 7: so what.
- 48:39Speaker 2: Does that mean?
- 48:40Speaker 3: You can put heels on with it, so you slash athletics,
- 48:43Speaker 3: slash leisure, ath leisure, ath leisure exactly.
- 48:45Speaker 7: So variety is better. So what I do is I
- 48:50Speaker 7: have drops every Friday. So every Friday, if you have
- 48:53Speaker 7: the app at eleven am, whatever I'm dropping for that day,
- 48:56Speaker 7: like today, I drop four new sets so you have
- 48:58Speaker 7: access to it on the app. At eleven am. The
- 49:00Speaker 7: masses online have access to it at twelve pm. Every
- 49:03Speaker 7: single Friday, we do new release drops every Friday.
- 49:06Speaker 4: So are you a design team or we built up
- 49:08Speaker 4: we built out of the signty. At this point, I
- 49:10Speaker 4: am the design are the design team. So every Friday
- 49:12Speaker 4: you putting out something?
- 49:14Speaker 7: Yes, every Friday, I'm putting out something.
- 49:16Speaker 4: We gotta we gotta use the new names Superwoman in enough.
- 49:20Speaker 4: It's not fit. It's not fitting.
- 49:21Speaker 7: Enough pieces several pieces not enough.
- 49:25Speaker 6: Say man, we had We've We've had a lot of help.
- 49:28Speaker 6: Even I know what is it? My God versus everybody?
- 49:32Speaker 2: My God versus my enemy ship?
- 49:34Speaker 6: Yeah, my God versus my enemies. I'm in a mastermind
- 49:38Speaker 6: with him, you know.
- 49:38Speaker 5: Okay, alumna, I saw alumni and you know, just like
- 49:44Speaker 5: we in I got help so I can ask these guys, hey, man,
- 49:46Speaker 5: how you doing this?
- 49:47Speaker 6: How you doing that? You know that type of thing
- 49:48Speaker 6: you talk.
- 49:49Speaker 3: About that the master because that's one thing, especially in Atlanta,
- 49:52Speaker 3: I gotta you gotta culture, which I got like through
- 49:55Speaker 3: like masterminds. Just talk about the importance of that as
- 49:57Speaker 3: far as just networking and building and learn, and that's
- 50:00Speaker 3: one that's my favorite part about the podcast.
- 50:02Speaker 2: It's a great networking.
- 50:02Speaker 3: Tool and a lot of the people that we come
- 50:04Speaker 3: in contact with we keep relationships with, and it's like,
- 50:07Speaker 3: all right, now we're getting trucks and Alex can help
- 50:09Speaker 3: us with trucking, or we're doing options and Mark helps
- 50:12Speaker 3: us with options.
- 50:12Speaker 2: So it's like different things.
- 50:13Speaker 3: We got pretty much anybody on speed out that we
- 50:16Speaker 3: can have it in an industry, whether it's mortgages or whatever.
- 50:19Speaker 3: So I don't think people fully appreciate that, but like
- 50:21Speaker 3: I said, that's something that you guys do. I think
- 50:23Speaker 3: every week you have like a meteor product, So talk
- 50:26Speaker 3: about like the importance of that and like how that's
- 50:28Speaker 3: actually helped you as well.
- 50:29Speaker 5: So what we try to do is just well we
- 50:31Speaker 5: got our core group of guys, but like Justin he's
- 50:34Speaker 5: in the he's like in what do.
- 50:36Speaker 2: You call that multi level marketing?
- 50:38Speaker 5: Four x four X, But yeah, most of the multi
- 50:42Speaker 5: level marketing, but four x you know, the trading him
- 50:45Speaker 5: five hundred, he does the credit.
- 50:48Speaker 6: Neil does every.
- 50:49Speaker 5: Single thing about let me see what everything I got
- 50:55Speaker 5: my fitness and my clothing line with my wife, you know,
- 50:57Speaker 5: and Alex does the trucks. But when you get together
- 51:00Speaker 5: with a group of guys, you start understanding that basic
- 51:03Speaker 5: business principles apply across the.
- 51:05Speaker 6: Board, you know what I mean.
- 51:06Speaker 5: Like I could literally say that Alex wasn't running ass bro,
- 51:09Speaker 5: you need to run ass Now he makes six figures
- 51:11Speaker 5: a month just from the ad part, you know, Like
- 51:14Speaker 5: I said, I'm saying, I'm telling him that, but I
- 51:16Speaker 5: just was on his ass about that, you know what
- 51:18Speaker 5: I mean.
- 51:18Speaker 6: Some of the things that Neil has.
- 51:20Speaker 5: Implemented in my business h five hundred, even understanding the
- 51:23Speaker 5: credit and things that nature trying to get my it's
- 51:26Speaker 5: just so much, so much.
- 51:28Speaker 2: Value there, you know what I mean.
- 51:29Speaker 6: So even you know, when you guys.
- 51:30Speaker 5: Come in town, we start talking to y'all, and it's
- 51:32Speaker 5: just everybody from all different walks of life. You're gonna
- 51:35Speaker 5: be able to pick something out of something and apply
- 51:38Speaker 5: to your business, you know what I mean. So I
- 51:39Speaker 5: think that's very important because every week we've learned something new,
- 51:43Speaker 5: Like we're just learning. We know our port chops and
- 51:46Speaker 5: all that, but we learning every week, you know what
- 51:48Speaker 5: I mean. And it's a good vibe, good energy, and
- 51:50Speaker 5: we invite other guys in, you know what I mean.
- 51:52Speaker 6: Put their input and pour into it. So we just
- 51:54Speaker 6: really just pouring into each other every week.
- 51:57Speaker 2: That's a vibe. I want you to talk about the gym.
- 52:00Speaker 2: You said something internal, like the gym is more so like.
- 52:02Speaker 3: A flagship store at this point where it's like the
- 52:04Speaker 3: online is like the lion share of like revenue, but
- 52:08Speaker 3: the gym is like, like I said, that's kind of
- 52:10Speaker 3: how I look at it, as more like a huge
- 52:13Speaker 3: brand that just has like one physical location, like a
- 52:16Speaker 3: fashion over. They used to have a store, a couple
- 52:19Speaker 3: of different stores, but most of their money is coming online.
- 52:22Speaker 3: So talk about that and like the importance of just
- 52:24Speaker 3: having that physical location because people say brick and mortar
- 52:28Speaker 3: is dead, but you're still doing both. You still have
- 52:30Speaker 3: a brick and mortar, but you're actually still executing online.
- 52:33Speaker 3: That's what I said too before COVID hit. I'm like,
- 52:36Speaker 3: to me, I don't feel brick and mortar is dead,
- 52:38Speaker 3: but I feel like if you don't have a way
- 52:39Speaker 3: to get money online, your brick and mortar isn't going
- 52:41Speaker 3: to survive. You can't just for a lot of days
- 52:43Speaker 3: of just having a hot dog standing thinking you're gonna
- 52:46Speaker 3: get riches over Like, no matter what you do, you
- 52:48Speaker 3: have to have in order to scale it, you have
- 52:51Speaker 3: to have an online situation. So talk about like you know,
- 52:54Speaker 3: just having that physical gym and the importance of that.
- 52:57Speaker 5: Like I said to my friends, like if you don't
- 52:58Speaker 5: have if your business isn't online and you don't have
- 53:00Speaker 5: a business, you know, we just joke and say that,
- 53:02Speaker 5: but it's it's it's a lot of truth behind that,
- 53:04Speaker 5: you know what I mean.
- 53:05Speaker 7: From your analogy for them in the online program.
- 53:09Speaker 5: So the gym is like my music video, and the
- 53:13Speaker 5: online program is the album. The music video is just
- 53:16Speaker 5: what you see that's gonna make you buy the app,
- 53:18Speaker 5: you know what I mean, Like buy into the brand.
- 53:19Speaker 5: So when you look at my gym, you might see
- 53:22Speaker 5: a guy who gets up out a wheelchair, you.
- 53:24Speaker 6: Know what I mean.
- 53:25Speaker 5: And I'm documenting him every day. Now he's out that wheelchair.
- 53:27Speaker 5: You taking one step. Now he's running across the gym.
- 53:29Speaker 5: You see this one girl, she was one hundred eighty pounds,
- 53:32Speaker 5: now she's one hundred twenty pounds, you know what I mean.
- 53:34Speaker 4: So I like to keep shooting the.
- 53:38Speaker 6: Parts in.
- 53:40Speaker 4: Jim going there. Don't worry, I'm going there, you know.
- 53:43Speaker 6: And I know why you guys are watching my stories
- 53:45Speaker 6: I know.
- 53:46Speaker 4: Why, you know what I mean, So but keep recording them.
- 53:52Speaker 5: Let's say most definitely, I got a very entertaining online
- 53:56Speaker 5: you know, online presence, you know what I mean. But
- 53:58Speaker 5: like I said, the gym partner, he hasn't been in
- 54:00Speaker 5: the gym in months. We literally just don't have to
- 54:03Speaker 5: be there.
- 54:04Speaker 7: I mean.
- 54:04Speaker 6: But it's so funny.
- 54:06Speaker 5: Even after we made a million dollars first year of business,
- 54:08Speaker 5: and we did twice that second year of business, I'm
- 54:10Speaker 5: waking up at four o'clock in the morning, I'm going
- 54:12Speaker 5: to the gym at five o'clock opening the door.
- 54:15Speaker 6: I'm acting like I ain't made a dollar, you know
- 54:17Speaker 6: what I'm saying.
- 54:18Speaker 5: And I was telling my wife like, you know, like
- 54:20Speaker 5: you never broke again, Like I don't want to do it,
- 54:22Speaker 5: you know what I mean, Like I don't want.
- 54:23Speaker 6: To go back to what I was. So I just
- 54:25Speaker 6: kept that same energy, the same enthusiastic, the same price.
- 54:28Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying.
- 54:29Speaker 5: I'm still charging people two hundred dollars a month for
- 54:31Speaker 5: unlimited sessions five days a week.
- 54:33Speaker 6: That's ten dollars a session, you know what I mean.
- 54:34Speaker 5: No matter how many Rick Rossess, how many celebrities I've trained.
- 54:37Speaker 5: I've kept that same energy within the five year span
- 54:40Speaker 5: of me training, and I think in my mind that
- 54:43Speaker 5: me just not changing and going Hollywood, going left, just help.
- 54:47Speaker 6: My business, you know what I'm saying, help the brand.
- 54:50Speaker 5: Whatever we say that's I don't endorse a lot of stuff.
- 54:52Speaker 5: You can't pay me to post anything. So nine times
- 54:54Speaker 5: ten if I endorse it, if I say something positive
- 54:56Speaker 5: about it or something like that, people gonna buy into it.
- 55:00Speaker 5: Proven time and time again, like can't pay it. We're
- 55:02Speaker 5: not doing this for money, you know what I'm saying.
- 55:04Speaker 5: I literally wake up in the morning go because that's
- 55:06Speaker 5: my passion.
- 55:06Speaker 6: That's what I want to do.
- 55:07Speaker 5: I want to help people get in shape. I want
- 55:09Speaker 5: to get them boys out in them wheelchairs. I want
- 55:11Speaker 5: to I got a kid that's shouts out to Fresh
- 55:15Speaker 5: real quick. An uber driver dropped a guy off, a
- 55:18Speaker 5: blind guy, dropped them off at my gym and just
- 55:21Speaker 5: dropped them off at the top of the hill and
- 55:23Speaker 5: left them.
- 55:23Speaker 4: You know what I mean.
- 55:24Speaker 5: So from that day forward, I picked Fresh up. I
- 55:26Speaker 5: go drive his house and pick him up every day.
- 55:28Speaker 5: So if you watch my IVY story, you're saying, damn,
- 55:30Speaker 5: he picked this boy up every day. You know, I
- 55:32Speaker 5: pick up a blind kid every sin that wasn't my client,
- 55:34Speaker 5: but he came to my establishment and somebody.
- 55:36Speaker 6: Did them wrong.
- 55:37Speaker 5: So that's my responsibility now just in my mind. But
- 55:40Speaker 5: like I say, people see that, you know what I mean.
- 55:41Speaker 5: I don't have to talk about it a lot and
- 55:43Speaker 5: things that nature. But if you just keep keep that
- 55:45Speaker 5: same energy, I'm just a true believer in that.
- 55:48Speaker 4: That's what makes the break and mortar part successful at
- 55:52Speaker 4: this STA. It's an experience. So if anybody's ever been
- 55:55Speaker 4: to Atlanta, never been to Atlanta, if you come to
- 55:56Speaker 4: the law office and experience unlike anything we've never been
- 55:59Speaker 4: to for a number of reasons like that, for a
- 56:06Speaker 4: number of reasons, but I mean the atmosphere in itself, right,
- 56:09Speaker 4: just from a working out standpoint, like it seems like
- 56:12Speaker 4: everybody is rooting for the next person and everyone's challenged
- 56:15Speaker 4: each other to be better better, which is unlike any
- 56:17Speaker 4: other experience. Right, So you and your boy will go
- 56:20Speaker 4: Is that like you w ingrained that from the star?
- 56:23Speaker 4: Is that when you start, Jimmy, like you know what,
- 56:25Speaker 4: that's how I wanted to be or did you kind
- 56:26Speaker 4: of just grow into that?
- 56:28Speaker 6: Na? I think it kind of start with the head honestly,
- 56:30Speaker 6: you know what I mean. I kind of said what.
- 56:32Speaker 5: I was going to, like lay the ground rules, like
- 56:35Speaker 5: this is how we're gonna operate, you know what I mean.
- 56:37Speaker 5: And it's trainers that come up. I'm run my gym
- 56:39Speaker 5: like a barbershop. You pay your renting there, but I'm
- 56:41Speaker 5: not taking everybody's money. You get what I'm saying. I
- 56:43Speaker 5: got a one of my managers, a flamboyant gay guy,
- 56:46Speaker 5: you know what I'm saying.
- 56:46Speaker 6: He and they're doing cart Willis splits and everything.
- 56:48Speaker 5: But you better not look at him funny, you know
- 56:49Speaker 5: what I'm saying, Like he gonna do his thing, and
- 56:51Speaker 5: that's just what we're gonna do. So I got the
- 56:53Speaker 5: gangsters next to the gay boys, next to the white girls,
- 56:56Speaker 5: next to the grandma's next to and.
- 56:57Speaker 6: Everybody in there high five and they know each other name.
- 57:00Speaker 5: You know what's in family environment, you know what I mean.
- 57:02Speaker 5: For an hour coming that gym, you zone out. Yeah,
- 57:05Speaker 5: when you hear that call, y'all got two minutes with
- 57:07Speaker 5: everybody on the floor.
- 57:08Speaker 6: Yeah, the whole gym.
- 57:10Speaker 5: Everybody well ground together, be coolan abs.
- 57:16Speaker 2: That's a fact. So in the last segment, we're gonna
- 57:18Speaker 2: talk We're gonna bring it home.
- 57:19Speaker 3: We're gonna talk about the scaling model moving forward and
- 57:21Speaker 3: where you guys are taking the brand in the next decade.
- 57:25Speaker 3: All right, So in the last second, we're going to
- 57:27Speaker 3: talk about the scaling model moving forward and how you
- 57:30Speaker 3: guys take this brand to the next level.
- 57:31Speaker 2: Because I feel like you started.
- 57:34Speaker 3: Elevated, and then there's always always as an entrepreneur, I
- 57:38Speaker 3: feel you're always gonna constantly think like me, I'm always
- 57:41Speaker 3: paranoid because it's like I never get a chance to
- 57:42Speaker 3: celebrate anything because I'm like, all right, what's next? Like
- 57:45Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying, Like Nick Saban, I never forget,
- 57:47Speaker 3: they asked Nick Saban or I wasn't say was the
- 57:49Speaker 3: guy who used to coach Ohio State Urban Maya when
- 57:53Speaker 3: he was at Florida And they were saying, like he
- 57:55Speaker 3: had a panic attack after he won like back to
- 57:57Speaker 3: back championships because literally he was an offense an hour
- 58:00Speaker 3: later trying to recruit for next season. He didn't even
- 58:03Speaker 3: get a chance to celebrate the win. He's thinking about like, y'all,
- 58:06Speaker 3: I can't fall off. I just want to I got
- 58:08Speaker 3: to win three so there's a lot of pressure being
- 58:10Speaker 3: an entrepreneur. So what what do you guys, what are
- 58:14Speaker 3: you envisioning like moving forward? Like what's next on the
- 58:17Speaker 3: on the plate as far as scaling the brands, both
- 58:19Speaker 3: of the brands.
- 58:22Speaker 5: So me first, well, we actually we were in talks
- 58:26Speaker 5: with some venture capitalists and they had this big old booklet,
- 58:30Speaker 5: all this paperwork to sign and things in nature. And
- 58:33Speaker 5: these are the guys who want to take it to
- 58:35Speaker 5: the next level, the Kardashian face of somebody like stuff
- 58:40Speaker 5: that we can't do. We can't we can only do
- 58:42Speaker 5: so much with what we know, you know, I mean,
- 58:44Speaker 5: but these people are the people who make the.
- 58:46Speaker 6: One hundred million dollars in the fitness industry and things nature.
- 58:49Speaker 6: So you know, we've had to reach out.
- 58:52Speaker 5: And you know, we're just in talk so not saying
- 58:54Speaker 5: we're gonna sell the brand within the next three years,
- 58:57Speaker 5: but selling a Porsche or share.
- 59:00Speaker 6: You know, they're talking about public all this type stuff,
- 59:02Speaker 6: you know, I mean, so you better buy stocks and stuff.
- 59:04Speaker 2: But that's kind of like the next that's dope. I
- 59:08Speaker 2: can see that happening for sure. I'd be like the
- 59:09Speaker 2: next who's the people that make Beach.
- 59:12Speaker 4: Body yeah, yeah, yeah, yeahably visions other visions to have
- 59:16Speaker 4: multiple locations of the loft. Are we going to try
- 59:18Speaker 4: to replicate that on the cities because I could have,
- 59:20Speaker 4: I mean way up in New York.
- 59:22Speaker 5: Man Win talks with that too, Like I said, I
- 59:24Speaker 5: and it's another venture Capitals. It's a black guy from
- 59:27Speaker 5: Arkansas came to the gym just this past week like, hey,
- 59:30Speaker 5: I've been a scout. Like damn there like a scout. Hey,
- 59:33Speaker 5: I just had to come see it in person. I
- 59:35Speaker 5: want to offer you this that you know, I mean,
- 59:38Speaker 5: this is what we do. We can scale it, you know,
- 59:40Speaker 5: that type of thing. So just giving other people parts
- 59:43Speaker 5: of the brand, you know what I mean, if it
- 59:44Speaker 5: makes sense, that's kind of like, what's the next step.
- 59:47Speaker 2: That's dope, that's dope. What's up for body Envying?
- 59:51Speaker 7: So, you know, first and foremost getting this headquarters underway,
- 59:55Speaker 7: but just continuing to make it exclusive to create about
- 1:00:00Speaker 7: V experience. You know, when you see the drops and
- 1:00:02Speaker 7: you see the theatrics behind the post, when you just
- 1:00:07Speaker 7: see just the brand in itself, you know that's what
- 1:00:10Speaker 7: it is. It's not going to be mistaken for any
- 1:00:12Speaker 7: other thing. But you know, Body V is body envy
- 1:00:15Speaker 7: on its own, keeping things fresh, keeping it new. This
- 1:00:20Speaker 7: is my my retirement strategy, body envy, you know. So
- 1:00:24Speaker 7: I'm taking it very seriously and just making sure that
- 1:00:27Speaker 7: we just keep scaling upwards. And like you said, it's
- 1:00:29Speaker 7: hard to celebrate your wins when it's just so much pressure.
- 1:00:32Speaker 7: When you're you start off doing well, it's that pressure
- 1:00:35Speaker 7: that you got to keep on doing well. And so
- 1:00:38Speaker 7: we're always constantly sitting at night in the bed like, Okay,
- 1:00:41Speaker 7: what's next, what's for this week? You know, we take
- 1:00:43Speaker 7: it week by week. It's hard for me to envision
- 1:00:46Speaker 7: ten years from now. It's just that's always been hard
- 1:00:49Speaker 7: for me with anything. But just making sure that it's
- 1:00:52Speaker 7: still in existence, you know, first and foremost, and you know,
- 1:00:55Speaker 7: possibly creating something from my daughter. She's three years from
- 1:00:58Speaker 7: two years, we're graduatingih school. She's in tenth grade, so
- 1:01:01Speaker 7: possibly something that she can literally graduate from high school
- 1:01:04Speaker 7: and transition right over to this and make six figures
- 1:01:07Speaker 7: off the rip first, you know, eighteen years old and
- 1:01:10Speaker 7: continue from there take it over from mom.
- 1:01:11Speaker 8: You know.
- 1:01:12Speaker 7: So it's a number of things that I'm playing in
- 1:01:14Speaker 7: my head in regards to body envy, but just making
- 1:01:17Speaker 7: it great and continuing to just keep doing what we're doing.
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: You know, that's dope, man.
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: I think it's encouraging that you guys are a couple
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: working together and you got separate brands, combined brands, and
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: you're still working your regular job. It's a lot of
- 1:01:30Speaker 3: different things that's going on in the pie and showing
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: people that you know, there's really no limit. There's no limit,
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: and you always move further as a team as opposed
- 1:01:38Speaker 3: to like, you know, individual fighting or being jealous. You
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: could have been like jealous of her, she'd be jealous
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: of you. But y'all could each do your thing.
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: You know, this is that stay down til you come
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: up here, gonna grind together, shine it.
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: But I don't think that's talked about enough either. A
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: lot of time the relationship people is jealous of somebody.
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: It's like subconsciously or consciously, like you know what I'm saying,
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: Like they see an entrepreneur and it's like, all right,
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: I want that level of stardom. I want that, like
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: even though it's still the same, like y'all married, but
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: they're not supporting them like they used to support them,
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: like they used to support them when it was broke.
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: But now when they reach a level, it's like you
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: start to look at the person a little differently, like
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: I should be that person that everybody knows.
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: I would just like to take this time out to
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: thank my wife. I love you.
- 1:02:29Speaker 5: That's important, man, that's important because, like I say, some people,
- 1:02:33Speaker 5: you know, they actually they actually you have to get
- 1:02:36Speaker 5: jealousy jealous I didn't even know that it existed, you
- 1:02:40Speaker 5: know what I mean, Like I guess because we truly,
- 1:02:42Speaker 5: I truly look at her as me.
- 1:02:44Speaker 6: We're the same person, Like we spit kids out to get.
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: Understand me. You got to understand that I'm the same person.
- 1:02:53Speaker 5: So even when she's messing up, like I'm drilling in
- 1:02:56Speaker 5: her head like we messing up, we gotta do it
- 1:02:58Speaker 5: like this, you know what I mean. So I just
- 1:03:00Speaker 5: think that, you know, couples that try to, you know,
- 1:03:03Speaker 5: start a hobby, get money, hobby with your with your spouse,
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: you know what I mean, you'll be surprised. Way back
- 1:03:09Speaker 5: in the day when I was selling CDs, I was
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: just selling CDs.
- 1:03:12Speaker 6: I was like, man, take some of these worky. She
- 1:03:14Speaker 6: took that work, came back, everything was sold. I was like,
- 1:03:18Speaker 6: this is part twenty years ago.
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: That's what the chorls.
- 1:03:24Speaker 5: I'm a store and you know I gave it to her,
- 1:03:26Speaker 5: and you know it just was like, damn, she can
- 1:03:28Speaker 5: do it too, you know what I'm saying. And now
- 1:03:30Speaker 5: I can duplicate myself.
- 1:03:31Speaker 7: Right, God, your partners I mean, marriage is a partnership.
- 1:03:37Speaker 7: So absolutely, you know at the end of the day,
- 1:03:38Speaker 7: whether it's you know, your partnership in life. And so
- 1:03:41Speaker 7: if if whatever he's got, I've got to whatever I've got,
- 1:03:44Speaker 7: he's got. And when you have that same mentality, there's
- 1:03:46Speaker 7: no secrets. I know what's in his bank account. He
- 1:03:48Speaker 7: knows what it's in my bank account. We share money.
- 1:03:50Speaker 7: You know, it's no you pay this, I paid that.
- 1:03:52Speaker 7: You know, everything is same ya right? And so, like
- 1:03:55Speaker 7: he said, we're reflections of each other. If he's doing
- 1:03:58Speaker 7: something on Instagram, I might hit him up. Hey, take
- 1:04:00Speaker 7: that down, because that's a reflection to me.
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: You've said that before. Yeah, take her down? Oh take
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: her Okay, it ain't just her.
- 1:04:13Speaker 7: Like that's not a good luck taken down.
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: Now.
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: You know what I do love is that the energy
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: that he has in showing you off, like he I know,
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: he's a cameraman. Behind it because he's always doing an
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: Ada somebody. Yeah, he really loves just shooting you man.
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: And you can just feel the love there man. So
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: that that's a beautiful thing. That's encouraging.
- 1:04:29Speaker 7: Yeah, that's that rooting. That's that's wanting me to win too,
- 1:04:31Speaker 7: you know, And I can't. I love that so much
- 1:04:33Speaker 7: about what we have as a couple and I and
- 1:04:36Speaker 7: that had to be formed. I didn't just start off
- 1:04:38Speaker 7: that way. It had to be cultivated and wanting the
- 1:04:41Speaker 7: others to succeed, wanting the others to win. You know,
- 1:04:44Speaker 7: if he's if he's broke and broke, whether it's not
- 1:04:47Speaker 7: just financially, but mentally, I mean everything. If he's empty,
- 1:04:50Speaker 7: I am too. And so just being able to support
- 1:04:52Speaker 7: each other, back each other work together. People don't even
- 1:04:55Speaker 7: understand that you can work with your spouse and you
- 1:04:56Speaker 7: can enjoy working with your spouse. You know, it's just
- 1:04:59Speaker 7: gonna make you better and all the way around. It's
- 1:05:02Speaker 7: going to elevate you. And you know, the business is
- 1:05:03Speaker 7: going to elevate you personally, is going to bring you closer.
- 1:05:07Speaker 7: It's so many different facets that come out of working together.
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: Yeah, it works, you know, it's a lot that you know.
- 1:05:16Speaker 8: I feel about that Shotty. One day I'm gonna get there,
- 1:05:26Speaker 8: and yeah, they're just gonna live through me for a while,
- 1:05:31Speaker 8: vicariously through Troy.
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: Oh Man. But now we want to thank you guys
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: for coming in. This is a very enjoyable episode.
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: I knew it would be, and we talked about the
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: affiliate link, So if you guys are interested in joining
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: X twenty eight, we're going to have the link posted
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: on the description of this if you're listening on Apple Spotify,
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: if you're watching it on YouTube, but also have it
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: on our website.
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: We'll put your link on the website as well.
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: For body Envy and yeah, you guys can can find
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: out all the information if you want to join. Support
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: support and not only support, but actually benefits. So I'm
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: a big I'm a big believer. I don't think you
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: should just buy anything just out of support. That's more
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: of a charity thing. And when you can actually get
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: benefit for something. So you're talking about taking your health
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: and you know, sitting in your home, your living room,
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: being able to work out for twenty five dollars a month,
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: I mean, if you're not willing to invest twenty five
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: dollars in your health.
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: When you spending twenty five dollars.
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: A month on a bunch, you're random nonsense, you know
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: what I'm saying, Like, what do you really have to lose?
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: At that point?
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: It's like, even if you only work out a few
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: days a month, it's worth It's probably worth one day,
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: it's probably worth twenty five dollars. So for me, that's
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: how I always look at any kind of nutrition or
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: workout anything like that. I never skim on anything like
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: that because I feel like your body is your most
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: important investment. If your body's not right, no matter how
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: much money you have, no matter what, you can't fully
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: operate and it's not you're not going to feel good
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: about the situation. So I highly encourage everybody to start
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: eating well, to work out, and during this time of COVID,
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: this is a perfect opportunity. You home a lot, you
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: can pick up weight just watching Netflix, just eating. It's
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: like being in college, you know what I mean, in fifteen.
- 1:07:14Speaker 4: Yeah, it's the COVID thirty right now.
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: Yeah. And also you know we talked about mental health
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: as well. It's like we got to watch depression and
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: things that nature. And it's been proven that the more
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: you work out, the more you're endorphins flow. It stops
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: that you know, you're staying at home or time that
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: can lead to depression, that can lead to high levels
- 1:07:34Speaker 3: of anxiety. So just managing that, working out, eating well, running, cardio,
- 1:07:40Speaker 3: stuff like that, you'd be surprised of, like how that
- 1:07:43Speaker 3: actually influences and affects you on a mental level. So
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: it's a lot of different stuff that you know, we everybody,
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: but especially we as black people, we have to take
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: our health more serious and we have to become more
- 1:07:55Speaker 3: health conscious. So I encourage you why to check that out.
- 1:07:57Speaker 4: As I said, it is going to be well wealthy.
- 1:07:59Speaker 4: We have tried and tested it is worth it for sure.
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: So yeah, So we got the links and all of
- 1:08:06Speaker 3: our bios and we're gonna have the links on the website.
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: Outside of that, how can the people reach you guys
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: on social media? Twitter, website, Like what's all the information?
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: What do you want to tell other people?
- 1:08:17Speaker 7: So you can reach me personally? I'm at missus the

- 1:09:51Speaker 3: and it's something that we're really proud of. Like every
- 1:09:54Speaker 3: week we do weekly webinars, and like we call all
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: of our guests alumni, so like your alumni, So it's
- 1:10:00Speaker 3: like a lot of the past alumni. They come and
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: they teach and it's like twenty minutes of teaching. Then
- 1:10:04Speaker 3: it's like half an hour of like zoom questions, so
- 1:10:07Speaker 3: like people actually get to ask them questions because a
- 1:10:09Speaker 3: lot of times it's like they pick up a lot
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: of information from the podcast, but it's still nothing like
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: socially interacting with these people. So it's really dope, and
- 1:10:18Speaker 3: everybody has just been really dope about it. So if
- 1:10:20Speaker 3: you guys ever want to teach a class on merch
- 1:10:22Speaker 3: or whatever, that'll be dope. But yeah, go to Eyo
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: University dot com if you want to sign up and
- 1:10:29Speaker 3: thank you guys for rocking with us.
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: We will see you next week. Peace. Peace.
- 1:10:33Speaker 11: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 1:10:37Speaker 11: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from El Salvador
- 1:10:41Speaker 11: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 1:10:45Speaker 11: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 1:10:49Speaker 11: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 1:10:53Speaker 11: Donald J.
- 1:10:54Speaker 7: Trump's leadership.
- 1:10:55Speaker 11: I'm Christinoman, the United States Secretary of Homeland Security. Under
- 1:10:59Speaker 11: President Trump, attempted illegal border crossings are at the lowest
- 1:11:03Speaker 11: levels ever recorded, and over one hundred thousand illegal aliens
- 1:11:07Speaker 11: have been arrested. If you are here illegally, your next
- 1:11:11Speaker 11: you will be fine nearly one thousand dollars a day,
- 1:11:14Speaker 11: imprisoned and deported, you will never return. But if you
- 1:11:18Speaker 11: register using our CBP home app and leave now, you
