Speaker 1: If it's love that you need, you can't take it from me, cause I'm the one who's giving it up, and I know it's been hard, but you've made it this far Now I'm the one who's giving it up.
• 0:39
Speaker 2: All right, all right, all right, all right, all right.
• 0:41
Speaker 2: Pura vida, pura vida.
• 0:43
Speaker 2: And I say that because life is good, because Jimmy's back, thank God.
• 0:48
Speaker 2: The last episode that we released got unreleased, actually because it was a solo episode, and I decided that, I don't know, I just wasn't a fan, maybe it's because of the critical eye and ear that I have of myself, but, um, I'm incomplete without you, jim.
• 1:08
Speaker 2: So, thank god you're back.
• 1:11
Speaker 2: Um, welcome to the straight love podcast.
• 1:13
Speaker 2: It is the the.
• 1:15
Speaker 2: The straight love podcast without jim is just stir.
• 1:17
Speaker 2: I thought it was good man.
• 1:21
Speaker 2: Well, thanks, buddy, I mean that that that means a lot coming from you.
• 1:24
Speaker 2: But, uh, I don't know, I just, for whatever reason, I was just stewing over it I'm like I can't have the world hear this.
• 1:32
Speaker 2: Yeah, that's fair, it is what it is.
• 1:35
Speaker 2: It's gone now, but, hey, jimmy's back.
• 1:38
Speaker 2: It's been a month, man, yeah, time flies, it really does, but we've been busy, obviously.
• 1:47
Speaker 2: Um, I was out getting married and you, um, I gotta say, man, seeing you with my daughter out in costa rica.
• 1:51
Speaker 2: I mean really that that that was, that was really special yeah.
• 1:56
Speaker 2: Yeah, it was a lot of fun, it was like the way that she took to you, though you know like I mean, obviously you've met her a handful of times, but like for her to spend that much time with you, and like we'd start off the day you'd be down by the pool.
• 2:10
Speaker 2: She'd be saying uncle she doesn't have that many words in her vocabulary, but that was certainly one of them all of a sudden makes it easy, totally, totally.
• 2:17
Speaker 2: But that was that was.
• 2:19
Speaker 2: That meant a lot to me, man.
• 2:21
Speaker 2: You know, you guys got to spend a lot of time together and she was nuts about you.
• 2:25
Speaker 1: Yeah, she's easy going, man, she's was fun, she's definitely easy going.
• 2:29
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, she's uh a little joy to have around.
• 2:32
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, it's uh, yeah, it's nice man, it's just like, uh, they're, they're bright moments totally.
• 2:39
Speaker 1: The only the only one time where I was like oh, I don't know what to do here is, I think, when you guys were guys had left to go take more photos At the actual reception.
• 2:49
Speaker 1: Yeah, and I was holding her and standing, and I was holding her, and I was holding her and I was holding her and I was like I don't know what to do.
• 2:58
Speaker 1: Am I allowed to put you down?
• 3:00
Speaker 1: Should I put you down?
• 3:02
Speaker 1: I feel like I want to keep holding you.
• 3:05
Speaker 1: You, I don't know what to do here.
• 3:06
Speaker 1: And then eventually, after a while, my remedial brain was like we can sit down, hey there we go I think literally after 40 minutes.
• 3:15
Speaker 1: Oh, because we abandoned you for a while yeah, probably for like 40 minutes of like standing and holding her and walking around and you know like just whatever having fun I was like oh yeah, we can sit down, let's go sit down so what was that interaction?
• 3:30
  Speaker 2: like?
• 3:30
  Speaker 2: What were you?
• 3:30
Speaker 2: How were you killing the time together?
• 3:32
Speaker 2: Um, we were just chatting, is that right?
• 3:34
Speaker 2: Yeah, oh, she's good like that, just chatting and looking at stuff and see it's funny because we like I just kind of threw her on you and I'm like I guess we'll be back, and I don't think that I even ran it by you before it was just kind of like hey, we're going, yeah, it's not really anything.
• 3:50
Speaker 1: You need to run by, I know, but I just think that within the moment, you know, you just kind of take for granted that.
• 3:56
Speaker 2: You know, obviously she feels safe with you and I, you know, there's like three people in the world that I trust, along with my child, and you're certainly one of them.
• 4:04
  Speaker 1: I appreciate that.
• 4:05
Speaker 1: Yeah, it was good man, it was fun.
• 4:06
Speaker 2: Like I said, she's easy going and I liked the little hugs and yeah, it's good, good times, um, if you haven't done so already, please head on over to Instagram straight.
• 4:18
Speaker 2: Love S E R, the number eight, dot, love, love, as usual.
• 4:21
Speaker 2: Uh, we were having a a heart-to-heart upstairs.
• 4:24
Speaker 2: We should just move this entire podcast studio, to be honest, um, and we were talking about, um, different frequencies that we kind of operate on, and jim was just making a lot of sense and saying a lot of things first person ever to think and say that.
• 4:42
Speaker 2: But really, man, you were saying a lot that was really hitting home.
• 4:46
Speaker 2: And I think that when you hear certain things and they feel true to you, you can, you can feel that you know, and I, one of the um, one of the things that I will say about you, um, and your, when you be, when, when I hear a lot of confidence in your voice, I know it's about something that you truly believe in and something that you truly mean.
• 5:09
Speaker 2: And when you started talking about how you feel invincible when it comes to combating viruses in this world, not in those words necessarily.
• 5:21
  Speaker 2: No, for sure.
• 5:22
Speaker 2: Not in those words necessarily, um, for sure.
• 5:23
  Speaker 2: No, I, I, but, but I.
• 5:25
Speaker 2: I think it's important to share this kind of thing because it, it, it does again have a lot of um truthful meaning and feeling in it.
• 5:34
Speaker 2: So, yeah, can you?
• 5:36
Speaker 2: Can you talk about first of all what it is, that that you know, um the frequency that you're operating on, and maybe even how you got to that particular level of belief in yourself?
• 5:49
Speaker 2: I guess to a certain degree.
• 5:51
Speaker 1: Well, none of it is anything that I've curated, it's all just stuff that it's sort of maybe not the right way to put it, but I want to say kind of it's like reverse engineering, like I you know, about the theory and the thought and the idea and the philosophy, and it resonates or makes sense and then, I guess, at at some point, through actions and that belief or that direction of belief, then you sort of kind of realize, oh, I guess I have been doing that, and maybe some of stuff is on purpose and intentional and some stuff isn't.
• 6:37
Speaker 1: And so the stuff that we were talking about there, it just in that context about how we were speaking, it just in that context about how we were speaking, based upon what I have been exposed to in terms of these philosophies and beliefs, then it just starts to make sense and I guess, as you said, because I choose to believe in it, or my experience has led me to choose to believe in it, then, yeah, I guess I do have a lot of confidence in it.
• 7:07
Speaker 1: Right, I would have never thought of putting it in that way, but, um, I do, and and and maybe even from like a science based point, it also does make sense.
• 7:19
Speaker 1: Someone that was a lot more intelligent than I am could probably speak more to that, but really, what I'm blathering on about is that, yeah, so the illness thing I think I just do the right things that are intentional to support my immune system, to fend off and ward off illness or whatever the case might be, and so.
• 7:39
Speaker 1: So then it strengthens my belief, right, and then it's kind of that grows in and of itself, and then you almost get to the point where it's like is all that really matters is my belief?
• 7:52
Speaker 1: Now I'm certainly not there.
• 7:55
Speaker 1: I'm still going to keep doing things because I believe in those things.
• 7:59
Speaker 2: But your belief is built on this.
• 8:00
Speaker 2: These pillars almost like this knowledge.
• 8:03
Speaker 1: This, yeah for sure.
• 8:04
Speaker 1: And then that, just like I said, sort of the reverse engineering part of it.
• 8:08
Speaker 1: It makes me go back to the things that I've learned about, read about, heard where oh well, I guess this is in this context you're operating at a frequency that isn't able to have a transmission of things that are not operating at other frequencies.
• 8:30
Speaker 1: Uh, so then, therefore, you won't be subject to them I love this man.
• 8:38
Speaker 1: Okay, I love this so much you know, like the old, the old kind of, if you want to listen to whatever 105.5 on the fm, but you're trying to.
• 8:49
Speaker 1: You're in the 90s, you know what I mean.
• 8:51
Speaker 2: You'll never get it totally, totally.
• 8:53
  Speaker 2: So what?
• 8:55
Speaker 2: What I what I think is is important about this too, is this belief that you have is soul.
• 9:01
Speaker 2: It's so wholehearted and it's so like there's no doubt in your mind when it comes to the way that you feel about your immune system.
• 9:11
Speaker 2: When it, when it, when it comes to how you feel about being able to fend off viruses, you say to yourself I am not someone who gets sick, right, and you're not saying that to convince yourself.
• 9:23
Speaker 2: You believe that now, maybe you say that to yourself in order to convince yourself, like, like, to get your to yourself to that point where you're trying to establish that belief in yourself.
• 9:37
Speaker 2: There's no questioning it.
• 9:42
Speaker 2: There's nothing that's going to seep into you, that's going to affect the way that you feel, believe like.
• 9:48
Speaker 2: It's just, it's, it's unshakable to a certain degree, and I think that there's something very admirable about that, yeah, yeah, maybe a little bit there is.
• 9:55
Speaker 1: I mean, I also like the things that I do consistently are very important, and I think if I compromise those, then it would also compromise how I feel about it.
• 10:05
Speaker 1: How could it not?
• 10:06
Speaker 2: Yeah, so it's um, both of those things contribute for sure, and I think the both are important, though You're going to continue to do these things, because in order to have that belief, you need to have again that kind of thing underneath Right.
• 10:20
Speaker 1: Yeah, um, now the real, the real skill and feat would be to be able to like apply that to all things in life?
• 10:28
Speaker 2: Absolutely, man, and that's where I kind of wanted to go with this, because this is a very concrete example.
• 10:33
Speaker 2: But how can you like spilling this over into other areas?
• 10:37
Speaker 2: That's where the real magic could start to happen, for sure, right?
• 10:40
Speaker 2: So where else could you potentially see something like this, like where can you plant a seed, necessarily, and then build on that in order to get to this same level of wholehearted belief.
• 10:57
Speaker 1: Do you want to answer that question?
• 11:02
Speaker 2: Look, man, I mean like there's, there's a lot of different areas.
• 11:04
Speaker 2: I think that, um, you know, another example that we were giving is is like good things are happening for me, good things are coming to me, like I am someone who attracts positivity and good fortune, and like you can, you can, you can feel those things and you can, you know again, work on trying to convince yourself of them.
• 11:31
Speaker 2: But what are you doing underneath, you know, to be able to kind of have something that you can prop up this belief on?
• 11:38
Speaker 2: You know, like that's what I think is is missing for a lot of people.
• 11:43
Speaker 2: You know, we try and speak things into existence and we try and manifest.
• 11:47
Speaker 2: Okay, you can, you can do that all you want, and there's a lot of power in that.
• 11:51
Speaker 2: But what's underneath it?
• 11:52
  Speaker 2: You know?
• 11:52
Speaker 2: What are you doing in order to be able to support that?
• 11:57
Speaker 1: yeah, my experience, and I guess until further notice, is that there has to be a contribution of both sides of it.
• 12:04
Speaker 1: Right, you know it's um, there has to be a contribution of both sides of it.
• 12:07
Speaker 1: Right, you know it's um, there has to be a little bit of believing before you see it and a little bit of seeing it to believe it.
• 12:14
Speaker 1: Okay, I love that.
• 12:16
Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know which one, uh, I don't know, I don't, I don't know how you initiate, which one initiates first, or if it matters, or it's, uh, it's elusive to me when it comes to different to to frequencies, though, man, do you kind of envision that you're operating on a different frequency than these viruses that are beneath you kind of thing?
• 12:41
  Speaker 1: No, I don't, I don't think so.
• 12:42
  Speaker 1: I think I just have.
• 12:43
Speaker 1: I think I've just experienced to be health, I've experienced being healthy from that respect and um, and I guess I just trust in it, I guess I've learned to trust it.
• 12:56
Speaker 1: I mean, I don't have full like, even even speaking about it, this much is shaking me up a bit.
• 13:00
Speaker 1: I'm going to be completely honest with you.
• 13:02
Speaker 1: It's shaking me up a bit.
• 13:03
Speaker 1: I'm gonna be completely honest with you.
• 13:04
Speaker 1: It's shaking me up a bit.
• 13:05
Speaker 1: But then maybe it's sort of maybe this is like a challenge.
• 13:09
Speaker 1: This is my challenge to to be like, well, don't waver in it, you know.
• 13:13
Speaker 2: Like totally don't let this make you uncomfortable with what your belief is I just I also think that because you have again, when we were speaking about it and you were speaking about about it with such confidence, I think that this is just something that can be so I don't want to say easily, but something that can be duplicated in other areas, that's all I'm sure it can be.
• 13:36
Speaker 1: I mean, I don't I don't have the blueprint of that, but I mean, like we were speaking about I don't think, think there are a lot of variations of how things change.
• 13:51
Speaker 1: What do you mean by that?
• 13:52
  Speaker 1: Things get better?
• 13:54
Speaker 1: Well, like we were saying, it's kind of you either work harder or you do something differently or a combination of both Right now, exactly whatever.
• 14:03
Speaker 1: the specific details of that are certainly different, are dependent upon whatever the circumstance, situation or objective is.
• 14:12
Speaker 1: But it's hard to argue, I think.
• 14:14
Speaker 1: And if I welcome whatever insight it is, but I think it's kind of hard to argue those tenants to say either you work harder, you do something differently, or both, man, but maybe not.
• 14:26
Speaker 1: But again, to be my own uh, contrarian, maybe not like me.
• 14:31
Speaker 1: There's also a whole bunch of things where it's like you should just allow the flow to go with you and, yeah, you know and accept, uh, whatever the case might be or whatever it is and so it's, maybe it's all predicated on what your belief is yeah, you know what man I hear about that going with the flow kind of thing and just kind of relaxing into the world, um, and I think that there's a lot to be said for that.
• 14:57
Speaker 2: But I don't know like, is there a lot of power in that man, perhaps?
• 15:01
Speaker 2: I just feel like, if you can, there's something to also be said for taking charge of a certain situation and, you know, taking your power back and then making certain decisions and putting a lot of effort into something and creating something on your own and realizing how powerful you are.
• 15:19
Speaker 2: Man, like you know, we, we, we tap into such a small part of our, a small portion of our own potential.
• 15:26
Speaker 2: It seems like sometimes I don't know if it's because of procrastination or laziness or whatever it is, but a lot of us never reach our full potential because we just, I don't know, either don't have the belief or, you know, don't um, or don't know, I guess either what to do, right I, I do agree, and maybe it's because we overcomplicate things as humans Also, true, yeah, yeah, I don't know.
• 15:56
Speaker 1: I, I, I think I do have this one kind of thing sort of lined up for myself that seems to work.
• 16:03
Speaker 1: But as for the rest of it, you know, I'm still figuring it out.
• 16:06
Speaker 1: I'm still figuring it out as best as I can.
• 16:10
Speaker 2: Well, look man, um, I'm still figuring it out as best as I can.
• 16:13
Speaker 2: Well, look, man, it's good to speak about these kinds of things, it's good to highlight things that aren't working, that are working, and then you know using that as some sort of a basis then to try, and you know, figure out how to kind of like duplicate that kind of success in other areas.
• 16:27
Speaker 1: I do really believe, as we were talking about the frequency thing, I just I certainly great to hear a different perspective.
• 16:36
  Speaker 1: I don't know if I would be, I don't know if I'd be accepting of a different perspective, I guess.
• 16:40
Speaker 1: So, as much as I say that maybe I'm kind of being more closed minded and pretending I'm open minded, but just that, the frequency thing, when you think about that concept and idea and philosophy, it just does make a ton of sense.
• 16:56
Speaker 1: Dude, it so does.
• 16:57
Speaker 1: And I remember actually this was I was watching a uh uh weight training video or whatever the case might be again making fun of myself as I have before, because I haven't watched enough of those, I guess you know, but, um, not the best use of time but I remember there was a clip of Arnold Schwarzenegger speaking and he was saying, you know he would, he would see these other train training people at the gym and you could just see who was at the frequency of training and working and who was not.
• 17:32
Speaker 1: You see, it, you could just see it, you could just see that, and sure you can frame that in whatever how, whatever the words you want to use, whatever semantics you want to have towards this about saying, okay, well, you know, is someone focused or someone concentrated or someone you know putting their their mind?
• 17:50
Speaker 1: Muscle connection is another sort of buzzword, cliche statement together, but really to me it's kind of like.
• 17:57
Speaker 1: Or you could use the word frequency are you operating at the frequency of I am here to grow and build these muscles by lifting these weights and doing these mechanics with my body?
• 18:10
Speaker 1: That is the frequency that I'm operating at.
• 18:12
Speaker 1: So then, therefore, I'm going to attract the frequency of this.
• 18:15
Speaker 1: Or are you just operating, again, at the frequency of like, I'm here, I'm going to lift those things over there, whatever, do this and that and then you go?
• 18:25
Speaker 1: Those are two different places to be working from.
• 18:28
Speaker 2: They really are, man, and I'll do you one more.
• 18:30
Speaker 2: You could be even lower than that when it comes to frequency and being like why am I even here?
• 18:34
Speaker 2: I'm so weak, I'll never figure this out like this is such a waste of my time.
• 18:38
Speaker 2: Everybody here is stronger than me, right?
• 18:40
  Speaker 2: Like?
• 18:40
Speaker 2: Even using those words, man, you can feel, yeah, it going lower, you know, yeah.
• 18:46
Speaker 2: So I mean there's something to be said for these different frequencies that we're choosing to put ourselves into yeah, yeah, they.
• 18:53
Speaker 1: I think they really do produce tangible and intangible uh uh products.
• 19:01
Speaker 2: I think that one of the things that we've kind of overlooked here is there really is an easy answer when it comes to frequencies, and that's to ask kenneth what's the frequency, kenneth?
• 19:18
Speaker 2: Oh, rem, rem yeah yeah, shout out to what's that guy's name?
• 19:26
  Speaker 2: Michael sniper?
• 19:27
Speaker 1: yeah, something like that, yeah it is why does he say that in the song?
• 19:32
Speaker 1: Do you know who's Kenneth?
• 19:33
Speaker 2: I don't know, but we got to find out.
• 19:35
Speaker 2: Jim, If there's one way that we're going to be able to wrap up this episode is to figure out who Kenneth is and then get him onto the podcast.
• 19:44
Speaker 1: Or we can just end it.
• 19:48
Speaker 2: What's the frequency, kenneth?
• 19:50
Speaker 2: All right, I guess we'll end it there.
• 19:52
Speaker 2: Yeah, even though my joke landed flatter than a pancake, I didn't understand it.
• 19:59
Speaker 2: Somebody out there got it.
• 20:02
Speaker 2: Yeah, if you did, please let me know.
• 20:06
Speaker 1: Message me on Instagram.
• 20:07
  Speaker 1: It's audience shortfall.
• 20:10
  Speaker 2: All right.
• 20:10
  Speaker 2: Well, we're back.
• 20:11
Speaker 2: We're back to every two weeks here.
• 20:13
Speaker 2: Um, we're sorry that we uh abandoned you all for a month, but there was a good reason for it.
• 20:19
Speaker 2: Uh, we missed you, jim.
• 20:20
Speaker 2: I missed uh sitting across from you here.
• 20:22
  Speaker 2: I'm glad that you're back.
• 20:23
Speaker 2: I'm glad we're back and, um, I love you a bunch, as always, buddy.
• 20:27
Speaker 2: Yeah, man, same here.
• 20:28
  Speaker 2: Love you.
• 20:28
  Speaker 2: All.
• 20:29
Speaker 2: Right, we love you everybody.
• 20:30
Speaker 1: Thank you for listening.
• 20:46
  Speaker 1: Bye, everybody bye.
• 20:48
Speaker 1: So I'm not there with you.
• 20:51
Speaker 1: And I fight, and I fight and I fight.
• 20:56
Speaker 1: The world is leaving.
• 20:58
Speaker 1: I fight for the betterment, and I fight, and I fight and I fight.
• 21:07
Speaker 1: The world is leaving.
• 21:08
Speaker 1: I fight for the betterment.
• 21:10
Speaker 1: The world is leaving us.
• 21:11
  Speaker 1: I don't care.
