- 0:01Speaker 1: Get Mark on demand by setting up pre sad for
- 0:04Speaker 1: his podcast on the iHeartRadio app.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Now back to Mark Simon on wo or.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Well, that's text and calls. You know, we get the
- 0:13Speaker 1: people pop from all over the country. Well, let me
- 0:14Speaker 1: see if we can find some New York City callers. First,
- 0:18Speaker 1: let's go to Phil and Queens. Phil. How you doing, Hey, Mark?
- 0:23Speaker 3: I think Curtis is gonna win. And quite frankly, Cuomo
- 0:27Speaker 3: helped destroy the city, Mandamie will build on that and
- 0:31Speaker 3: make it worse. And I drive around the city quite
- 0:35Speaker 3: a bit. I see Curtis signs where I didn't expect to,
- 0:39Speaker 3: and I'm gonna give me another moment. There's a reverse
- 0:43Speaker 3: barometer of how this selection is going. Even though a
- 0:47Speaker 3: lot of people don't view New York One, they are
- 0:52Speaker 3: so in the bag for the Democrats.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Yeah no, no, nobody sees nobody sees New York One.
- 0:55Speaker 1: But a better reverse barometer always follow the big money
- 0:58Speaker 1: donors because they always get it wrong every time. They
- 1:01Speaker 1: have an incredible track record of always getting it wrong.
- 1:04Speaker 1: So the big big money donors are behind Cuomo. So
- 1:07Speaker 1: just bare that mind list See you in New York City.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Here's Bill in Brooklyn Bill. How you doing, Hi, Mark.
- 1:13Speaker 4: I'm supporting President Trump in the Mayorell election. He doesn't
- 1:16Speaker 4: want us to vote for Curtis. We're gonna have to
- 1:18Speaker 4: throw Curtis under the bus and go with the Democrat.
- 1:21Speaker 4: He's rather a Democratic.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Than the Democrat.
- 1:24Speaker 4: Is Mamdani no a Democrato Democrats Democrat, not the communist Democrat.
- 1:30Speaker 1: I don't know if you can make that case. First
- 1:31Speaker 1: of all, Cuomo is not at all a Democrat. He's
- 1:34Speaker 1: running on a third party ticket. He's not the Democratic nominee.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Democrats rejected him in the primary. And when he was
- 1:41Speaker 1: governor he was as far left as mam Donni with
- 1:43Speaker 1: his no bail, no jail, closed the prisons.
- 1:45Speaker 4: But he believes in capitalism. Mark, that's important.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Yeah, No, you're right about that. The argument is that
- 1:51Speaker 1: Mamdanni would be worse, but Cuomo would be just as bad.
- 1:54Speaker 1: A Cuomo if you check his record as governor, was
- 1:58Speaker 1: so far to the left, woke crazy. But again, he's
- 2:04Speaker 1: not the Democratic nomine If you're voting, don't say vote
- 2:06Speaker 1: for the Democrat because that would be Mom Donnie in
- 2:08Speaker 1: the race. Mom Donnie's a Democratic candidate. Curtis the Republican
- 2:12Speaker 1: candidate Cuomo running on a third party, which nobody could
- 2:15Speaker 1: probably name. Let's go six and one. Let's go to
- 2:18Speaker 1: Ron in Texas. Ron, how you doing? Wait a minute,
- 2:23Speaker 1: there you go, Ron, how you doing?
- 2:25Speaker 5: Pretty good? There's something that's missing about Cuomo. He's got
- 2:31Speaker 5: a buckalo of problems, and one of them is people missing.
- 2:35Speaker 5: The prole board that he's put into place, half is
- 2:38Speaker 5: still there. Yeah.
- 2:40Speaker 1: No, that's another good point. Cuomo was as far left
- 2:42Speaker 1: as mom Donnie when he was governor. He replaced the
- 2:46Speaker 1: whole parole board with these far left woke kooks. They've
- 2:49Speaker 1: let out everybody, including they think about this. His parole
- 2:53Speaker 1: board let out forty three cop killers. And that's just
- 2:57Speaker 1: an example of how he governs. Let's go to Jerry
- 2:59Speaker 1: and Greenwich. Jerry, how you doing?
- 3:01Speaker 6: I'm doing well, Mark, thank you for taking my call.
- 3:05Speaker 6: I met Camillo yesterday and sir down.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Fred Camillo is the mayor of Greenwich. He's the best mayor.
- 3:11Speaker 1: They call it the first selectman. But everybody make sure
- 3:14Speaker 1: to vote for Fred Camillo on Tuesday. Make sure you
- 3:17Speaker 1: vote for him.
- 3:17Speaker 6: I'm definitely working for him. I mean, you know, I
- 3:21Speaker 6: asked him to give me two signs for his support,
- 3:24Speaker 6: and I put him on my property on North Street,
- 3:27Speaker 6: which is really really nice. And I support my friend
- 3:30Speaker 6: Heather for a tax collector. So I'm a great supporter
- 3:34Speaker 6: of Camillo and Heather.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Yeah, everybody Greenwich vote for Fred Camillo, best mayor they had.
- 3:39Speaker 6: He's a great man and a great guy.
- 3:42Speaker 1: All right, thanks for calling. Let's go to sal in
- 3:44Speaker 1: Long Island.
- 3:45Speaker 7: Sal.
- 3:45Speaker 1: How you doing good?
- 3:47Speaker 2: Good morning Mark, Mark. I don't want to change the
- 3:50Speaker 2: subject too much from the campaign, but I wanted your
- 3:53Speaker 2: opinion on how do you feel about bringing back the draft?
- 3:57Speaker 2: So these eighteen year olds would learn respect in a career,
- 4:00Speaker 2: possibly learned that they just they can't eat with Mommy
- 4:04Speaker 2: makes them all the time, and they will learn to
- 4:06Speaker 2: be adults and turn out to be men after two
- 4:09Speaker 2: years of being in the army.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Well, it sounds good on paper. It sounds good on paper,
- 4:13Speaker 1: but it can't happen because nobody's going to campaign about
- 4:16Speaker 1: bringing back the draft. You'd you'd get killed in an
- 4:19Speaker 1: election if that was your platform. And Democrats aren't going
- 4:21Speaker 1: to bring back the draft. They don't like the military.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Republicans would worry it would kill any chance of getting elected.
- 4:28Speaker 1: But it's a good idea.
- 4:29Speaker 2: I think President I'm sorry, I think President Trump would
- 4:33Speaker 2: be all for it though, and that would bring back
- 4:35Speaker 2: respect and patriotism. Also, that's what we had at one time,
- 4:39Speaker 2: and that was one of the reasons we had it.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Yeah, but again, bring back the draft. You probably can't
- 4:44Speaker 1: get elected. But President Trump's been very good on military recruiting.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Recruiting just stopped under Joe Biden because they went so
- 4:52Speaker 1: woke and you know, trans or whatever they went to,
- 4:56Speaker 1: it pretty much dried up. That's one reason you wanted
- 4:58Speaker 1: Pete Hexath. Hexath is very good at that. The one
- 5:01Speaker 1: thing he's done, he's dramatically increased recruiting by thousands of percent.
- 5:06Speaker 1: I mean he's just recruiting is now through the roof,
- 5:09Speaker 1: back where we wanted it. Let's go to Andy in
- 5:12Speaker 1: New Jersey. Andy, how you doing.
- 5:14Speaker 7: Hey, Mark. The word that Governor Patterson was trying to
- 5:17Speaker 7: spit out was logarithmic. But even if you could pronounce it,
- 5:21Speaker 7: it didn't make any sense because logarithmic increases slower than linear.
- 5:25Speaker 7: What he wanted to say is exponential increase, which is
- 5:28Speaker 7: much much faster than linear.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Well, he's a very smart Guy Patterson. But you got
- 5:32Speaker 1: to watch those words. Well, I don't need to give
- 5:34Speaker 1: him any advice. He knows that a speak in public.
- 5:36Speaker 1: But you got to watch that, that gibberish kind of what.
- 5:39Speaker 1: So it's logarithmic versus exponential exponential?
- 5:43Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, logarithm is slow, exponential is very fast.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Oh, logarithmic is slow, exponential is fast. All right, let
- 5:52Speaker 1: me just write that down because I'm never going to
- 5:53Speaker 1: use that anywhere. Who's going to know what the hell
- 5:55Speaker 1: I'm talking about. Hey, well, Bill O'Reilly will be with
- 5:59Speaker 1: us next. Lots to talk to him about the mayoral race,
- 6:02Speaker 1: the World Series. Last night, eighteen innings. The game went
- 6:06Speaker 1: till two point fifteen in the morning. Anyway, A lot
- 6:08Speaker 1: to get to next on seven ten wor
