- 0:00Speaker 1: What's going on?
- 0:01Speaker 2: Krusty needed a bit, I got a great one thanks
- 0:04Speaker 2: to my new head writer, Andy Hamilton Bart.
- 0:08Speaker 3: Thank you for believing I could grow up. My pranking
- 0:11Speaker 3: days are over for good.
- 0:12Speaker 4: What's gotten into you? Man, Andrew? I wanted to show
- 0:16Speaker 4: you something in the makeout room. Makeup room.
- 0:19Speaker 3: I'll be right there in a minute. Looks like I
- 0:22Speaker 3: just bought some property on Boner Way.
- 0:25Speaker 4: So now Andy's a TV writer.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Loser, no.
- 0:34Speaker 5: Loser, four finger discount, dude.
- 0:53Speaker 3: Welcome to full figured discount. With this week, we're going
- 0:55Speaker 3: to be pulling some pranks. It's prankicing grains. I'm dando,
- 0:58Speaker 3: I'm gonna be pulling some grains. Guy. Yeah, well you
- 1:01Speaker 3: were eating healthy for a while, and you said you
- 1:02Speaker 3: sort of straight away a couple of times you've seen
- 1:05Speaker 3: the devil aka the big m the distance. No, I'm
- 1:07Speaker 3: not so much m man. Okay, yeah, just bread back
- 1:12Speaker 3: into bread. But what kind of bread are you eating? Though? Oh?
- 1:15Speaker 3: The sugary gume like wonder bread, wonder bread, square, wonder bread.
- 1:20Speaker 6: I was like, oh, we go easy on the carves, going,
- 1:23Speaker 6: he's back on the past on the rice, on the bread.
- 1:26Speaker 3: But then I realized sandwich I love sandwich, and I
- 1:29Speaker 3: was not a pad of wholemeal. You can't do it.
- 1:32Speaker 3: I'm sure a whole meal would probably be bulg me
- 1:34Speaker 3: up just as much as a plane on a white
- 1:35Speaker 3: bread board. I think it doesn't that like digest better
- 1:38Speaker 3: or something wholemeal. B I'm not sure I can conduct
- 1:41Speaker 3: the experience. It doesn't matter. There's worst things you could
- 1:43Speaker 3: be eating their bread. That is correct, yes.
- 1:46Speaker 6: But I think I think I'm still eating relatively healthy.
- 1:49Speaker 6: I'm not, you know, sort of having late night macas
- 1:51Speaker 6: binges or anything like that. But I'm not you know,
- 1:54Speaker 6: I'm not in dando shape.
- 1:55Speaker 3: I'm more of a bit of bread kind of guy.
- 1:57Speaker 3: I prefer wraps over sandwiches. Yeah, I think you know
- 2:00Speaker 3: what it is. I wouldn't say maybe I don't prefer them.
- 2:02Speaker 3: It's just I've eaten wraps now for so long, since
- 2:04Speaker 3: I went my footy days. That is, it's just what
- 2:07Speaker 3: I prefer now. I get where you're coming from. I
- 2:08Speaker 3: like a nice tutia tortilla. Yeah, they're a bit soft
- 2:11Speaker 3: for me. I like them a bit more hard. I do.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Like when you go to my my palas that would
- 2:15Speaker 3: oven geelong and you have a chicken souvlaki in the
- 2:17Speaker 3: Turkish bread. Oh, yes, delicious. But Pranks and Greens, you
- 2:21Speaker 3: discussed with me off the air that you were a
- 2:24Speaker 3: fan of this episode. You didn't think it was that great,
- 2:25Speaker 3: didn't think it was terrible. He wasn't great. I didn't
- 2:27Speaker 3: mind it. But before we get into our review of
- 2:29Speaker 3: Pranks and Greens, I must say that you know how
- 2:31Speaker 3: I'm normally Dando, but I'm no longer Dando. What are you?
- 2:35Speaker 3: I am our pals at Funker, we're referred to as
- 2:37Speaker 3: battle damaged Dandom, the chased area Dando.
- 2:42Speaker 6: Do you want to know why I do? Because then
- 2:45Speaker 6: I have a battle damaged anecdote in.
- 2:46Speaker 3: My own Oh okay, So last night on the couch,
- 2:49Speaker 3: Nicola and I were discussing things to get holy for Christmas.
- 2:51Speaker 3: She's big in too, baby born, she loves baby dollsves
- 2:54Speaker 3: being a mum. Basically, she wants to bath and blah
- 2:56Speaker 3: blah blah. And I'm on Toys r US and I'm
- 2:57Speaker 3: buying the stuff and I said, Nichola'm passing the phone over. Pologies.
- 3:00Speaker 3: My back's broken. That's not the battle damage. I'm talking
- 3:02Speaker 3: about battle damage. That where my back's broken. But that's
- 3:06Speaker 3: because I fell asleep on the catch watching in the
- 3:07Speaker 3: wrestling paper of you on Saturday night and wake up
- 3:09Speaker 3: old man Dann. I couldn't move anymore, but I passed
- 3:11Speaker 3: my phone to Nikolas. She's like, yeah, that's good, drops
- 3:13Speaker 3: the phone. Unfortunately, our little man crashed. The cat was
- 3:15Speaker 3: sleeping in the middle, fell on his tail. He flung
- 3:18Speaker 3: up like a spring claws out, gone on directions seemed
- 3:21Speaker 3: like ear. Can you see the ear there? Oh, my goodness,
- 3:23Speaker 3: looked like you're the inside. Yeah, it looks like you
- 3:25Speaker 3: had like homemade piercing doune. Yeah. He basically grabbed onto
- 3:29Speaker 3: my ears and sort of like leapt off my head,
- 3:31Speaker 3: like grabbed into my head and then leapt off but
- 3:32Speaker 3: ripped my ears at the same time. Instant blood just
- 3:35Speaker 3: flying everywhere. I don't know. It wasn't the biggest gash,
- 3:38Speaker 3: but it was just blood everywhere. Something. Well, if it's
- 3:41Speaker 3: your head, I mean there's a lot of blood going
- 3:42Speaker 3: through it, he's must have a lot of blood in them.
- 3:44Speaker 3: So I'm battle damaged. Down down now, Oh my goodness.
- 3:46Speaker 3: And I wasn't. I was angry, but I was like,
- 3:49Speaker 3: don't be angry at him. He was just scared and
- 3:51Speaker 3: he's a cat. But man, oh man, when the cat
- 3:54Speaker 3: jumped on my head and used my head as a
- 3:55Speaker 3: springboard and ripping my ear open, I wasn't happy at all.
- 3:58Speaker 6: That's wholly understandable to a a cat man, as you know.
- 4:01Speaker 6: And basically the cat will occasionally jump on the bed
- 4:04Speaker 6: if I'm lying down there because something. I really was like,
- 4:08Speaker 6: what a blessing it is to think that your cat
- 4:11Speaker 6: feels safest.
- 4:12Speaker 3: When they're around you. It's like, no, that's true.
- 4:14Speaker 6: It wasn't get on the bed to be near me,
- 4:17Speaker 6: except jump on the bed and jumped onto my calf.
- 4:20Speaker 6: I was like, oh, this isn't the stable surface I
- 4:23Speaker 6: was expecting. I better claw into it.
- 4:26Speaker 3: Yeah, not good, terribly painful son cats pranks, but pranks
- 4:34Speaker 3: and greens. I mean when I said a battle damage
- 4:37Speaker 3: any I don't really. I was. I was working at
- 4:40Speaker 3: an establishment picking and packing toys. Was it fun? Actually
- 4:46Speaker 3: it was.
- 4:47Speaker 6: It was because the person on the next bench was
- 4:50Speaker 6: saying that it was a relative newbie and saying, oh,
- 4:53Speaker 6: should we send this? You know it looks like the
- 4:56Speaker 6: characters faces all dirty, and you know, oh, this is
- 4:58Speaker 6: probably a smudge.
- 4:59Speaker 3: Whatever I said, No, this is this character is better
- 5:02Speaker 3: damaged Superman. I go, Superman is better levers. They look
- 5:05Speaker 3: at me like he does.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Of shit.
- 5:09Speaker 3: This is what passes. This is what passes entertainment and
- 5:12Speaker 3: knowledge that my current establishment. There's two stories to this
- 5:15Speaker 3: episode basically, and a guest stars our man. This is
- 5:18Speaker 3: a Throgan No, what's the other guys name? Jonnyhill as
- 5:21Speaker 3: a prankster who is now nineteen years old hasn't outgrown
- 5:24Speaker 3: his pranking day. So the story here is basically because
- 5:27Speaker 3: in this time twenty one of this air twenty ten,
- 5:30Speaker 3: ish was it when this episode ends? Have a look
- 5:32Speaker 3: at two thousand and nine. Pranks on YouTube are a
- 5:34Speaker 3: big thing, people pulling pranks and just being an overall
- 5:37Speaker 3: nuisance to society. You know, it won't the fun pranks
- 5:39Speaker 3: where it's just you know, pretending to fart and what
- 5:41Speaker 3: it was like doing genuine pranks that ruin things and
- 5:44Speaker 3: like genuinely just ruin someone's day and just just for
- 5:47Speaker 3: views on YouTube. So that's what one story here is.
- 5:49Speaker 3: As a prankster who Bart now looks up to because
- 5:52Speaker 3: Bart pools a prank and Skinner says, no, there was
- 5:54Speaker 3: one who was better than you. But then idolizes this
- 5:56Speaker 3: guy who's a prankster and then tries to get his
- 5:57Speaker 3: life back on track and he realizes, you know what,
- 5:59Speaker 3: this isn't the right part to be going down. Clearly
- 6:01Speaker 3: the writers have been pranked in the past, and they
- 6:02Speaker 3: weren't fans of pranksters. The other story is something that
- 6:05Speaker 3: I can relate to, maybe even yourself, but other mothers
- 6:09Speaker 3: judging you for what you feed your kids, right, and
- 6:12Speaker 3: the mantra of you've got to feed your kids the
- 6:14Speaker 3: most healthiest shit, got to really look out for them
- 6:16Speaker 3: when at the end of the day, you know what,
- 6:18Speaker 3: just meeting vegs do'll be fine. Doesn't have to be
- 6:20Speaker 3: organic this and fucking all that other stuff. I feel
- 6:23Speaker 3: like that story now is just as relevant now as
- 6:24Speaker 3: probably wasn't two thousand and nine, maybe just because I'm
- 6:26Speaker 3: my father now and I've experienced this where they go, oh,
- 6:28Speaker 3: now we don't feed our kids that. Now they're not
- 6:30Speaker 3: having that colored cordial and that kind of thing. I'm like, sure, whatever,
- 6:34Speaker 3: that's fine, but our kids are and they're perfectly fine.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Have you seen Elliot Bowler cricket ball? He's fine. But
- 6:40Speaker 3: so the other story is that Marge is being judged
- 6:42Speaker 3: by other fellow Midday Mummies go to Miday Mummies group
- 6:45Speaker 3: like a mother's group who want to feed their kids
- 6:47Speaker 3: nothing but healthy food, and Marge is just a normal mother,
- 6:50Speaker 3: feeding normal snacks and treats as most normal people do.
- 6:53Speaker 3: And I thought that story in particular to me, made
- 6:57Speaker 3: this feel like classic Simpsons, because classic Simps what they
- 7:00Speaker 3: did best was they might try to change to appear
- 7:05Speaker 3: better in the ideology of society in that time, right
- 7:08Speaker 3: or so, for example, here the midday Mummies, but by
- 7:10Speaker 3: the end of the episode, they're like, you know, what's good,
- 7:12Speaker 3: just being fucking normal. And it's reminded me of scenes
- 7:15Speaker 3: of Class Struggle where Marge was trying to impress these people.
- 7:18Speaker 3: At the end of the day they went to Chusteberger
- 7:19Speaker 3: for dinner. I get where you're coming from.
- 7:21Speaker 6: Yeah, it did strike me that they were sort of
- 7:24Speaker 6: erring on weird extremes of this, of this particular argument,
- 7:29Speaker 6: in that the second the Midday Mummies were really going
- 7:33Speaker 6: all out on Yeah, let's be completely organic, you know,
- 7:36Speaker 6: let's to quote the scenes from the Class Struggle, Yeah,
- 7:40Speaker 6: let's import our stakes through the New York or something
- 7:42Speaker 6: like that, or you know, let's get the most high
- 7:44Speaker 6: and expensive stuff, but the most organic and quite unquote
- 7:46Speaker 6: best for us.
- 7:47Speaker 3: Have you been to a mother's group? I never, It
- 7:49Speaker 3: ain't that far fetched, my friend. Oh okay, I mean,
- 7:51Speaker 3: obviously they've really blended up for comedic reasons, but I've
- 7:55Speaker 3: had genuine experiences where it has to be from what's
- 7:58Speaker 3: the place on packing issues, A whole is Geelong. Everything's
- 8:02Speaker 3: organic and it's homegrown, locally grown and all this other stuff. Basically,
- 8:06Speaker 3: if it's not grown in the Geelong region, we don't
- 8:08Speaker 3: feed it to our children. I've I've heard that before.
- 8:10Speaker 3: Okay then, and I know they're playing it up here
- 8:13Speaker 3: a lot, but you know, you go to various places
- 8:15Speaker 3: and it's soy this and soy that and organic this.
- 8:18Speaker 3: I just I love those buzzwords of organic. And you know,
- 8:21Speaker 3: you get to a restaurant now nothing. You to a
- 8:22Speaker 3: restaurant now, even a pub, and they can't just say
- 8:25Speaker 3: it's a parmy. It's just chicken breast with napoli, sauce
- 8:27Speaker 3: and cheese. It's got to be homegrown crumbed chicken snitzel.
- 8:32Speaker 3: Fucking blah blah blah. It's gonna have all these buzzwords
- 8:34Speaker 3: in front of it. It's just the way we are now.
- 8:35Speaker 6: Well yeah, I mean I figure, if you're going out
- 8:36Speaker 6: and you're paying top dollar, which you know you shouldn't
- 8:39Speaker 6: shout no no, but yeah, you might as well gussy
- 8:43Speaker 6: it up with all these fancy terms, which in the
- 8:45Speaker 6: end is are really just window dressing.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:47Speaker 6: I mean, you're probably getting the same yeah chicken parmi
- 8:50Speaker 6: that you were, but now it's.
- 8:53Speaker 3: With a few buzzwords. Okay.
- 8:54Speaker 6: I was talking about that end of the spectrum where
- 8:56Speaker 6: it's going like, oh, okay, you guys are going a
- 8:58Speaker 6: bit over the top with the goods starf that you're
- 9:00Speaker 6: feeding your kids. But it seemed like Marge, Yeah, when
- 9:03Speaker 6: she said fire to that stuff or that pile of snacks,
- 9:07Speaker 6: and yeah, it's like it doesn't look all that good
- 9:10Speaker 6: for you either. I mean, it kind of looked like
- 9:12Speaker 6: she's got the worst junk food. It seemed to me
- 9:15Speaker 6: like there was a lot of unfulfilled potential in this episode.
- 9:19Speaker 6: The sign of a SOSO episode, I've said this in
- 9:20Speaker 6: the past is when you start thinking about ways you
- 9:22Speaker 6: could improve it. And I'm no fucking expert, but I
- 9:24Speaker 6: was like, here's how I would have done this. Now,
- 9:26Speaker 6: we fix episodes all the time, but I don't know,
- 9:29Speaker 6: I sort of would have got a like I would
- 9:32Speaker 6: have taken like a bit of an invasion the body
- 9:33Speaker 6: snatches approach. When it came to the Monday Mummies group,
- 9:36Speaker 6: like one person's out saying, oh, I mean no, I
- 9:39Speaker 6: know they've got time constraints and all that, but have
- 9:41Speaker 6: one mother saying oh, but I'm feeding so and so this,
- 9:45Speaker 6: and yeah, say it's the alpha mum in the group, not.
- 9:47Speaker 3: March, and Julius seem to be the yeah yeah, yeah, maybe.
- 9:51Speaker 6: Not a bad idea, And then next time you see them,
- 9:54Speaker 6: two more have done that, and by the end they're
- 9:55Speaker 6: all sort of turned on March. Now merely that's probably
- 9:58Speaker 6: a full episode itself, not so much a bet plot,
- 10:00Speaker 6: but it seemed.
- 10:01Speaker 3: Like, so you reckon it. Have don't have them all
- 10:03Speaker 3: be so anti much. Have one be sort of health freak,
- 10:06Speaker 3: and the other ones go, oh, she followed it. And
- 10:07Speaker 3: then by the end there's a balance in between I
- 10:10Speaker 3: think so yeah, yeah, yeah uh. And and certainly when
- 10:13Speaker 3: it came to the a plot about the pranksters, Yeah,
- 10:16Speaker 3: Andy Hamilton. Andy Hamilton lay by Jona Hill played by
- 10:19Speaker 3: Jonah Hill. I don't know.
- 10:20Speaker 6: It struck me like, I like the core idea that yeah,
- 10:26Speaker 6: he was a kid, a prankster, he peaked in high
- 10:28Speaker 6: school essentially, and now he's just, you know, he's still
- 10:32Speaker 6: doing pranks. But it's like it's a little unbecoming now
- 10:34Speaker 6: that you're, you know, verging on adulthood and all that
- 10:37Speaker 6: kind of stuff, and but trying to help him find
- 10:39Speaker 6: his way. I know, it just didn't feel fully explored.
- 10:42Speaker 3: And fleshed out. To me.
- 10:43Speaker 6: It felt like everyone was sort of paying lip service
- 10:45Speaker 6: to the idea. And I wasn't a fan of Lisa
- 10:48Speaker 6: in this episode. Maybe I just felt seen, you know,
- 10:51Speaker 6: sort off, but all her loser stuff, it just felt
- 10:54Speaker 6: very Unleisa to me.
- 10:56Speaker 3: I know that she feel Unleisa, but it also there
- 10:59Speaker 3: was a line in the episode where March is sometimes
- 11:02Speaker 3: it's important that we have our faults pointed out to us,
- 11:04Speaker 3: and Lisa didn't go about it in the nicest way
- 11:06Speaker 3: by saying loser loser. I think they did that just
- 11:09Speaker 3: purely for the payoff at the end, which I thought
- 11:10Speaker 3: was a funny gag with a TV he's now because
- 11:13Speaker 3: Andy becomes a TV writer, he's now a loser. That's
- 11:16Speaker 3: just them poking fund it themselves. But the way she
- 11:19Speaker 3: went about it wasn't correct. But I do think people
- 11:21Speaker 3: who do that for a living, I mean some do
- 11:23Speaker 3: it for a living. If you're ruining people's day, I
- 11:25Speaker 3: don't agree with it. If you ever to make money
- 11:27Speaker 3: doing something on YouTube, which I think is just pointless.
- 11:30Speaker 3: People look at something the other day and some guy
- 11:32Speaker 3: it was on YouTube, right, and it popped up in
- 11:34Speaker 3: your you may like this, and I was like, I
- 11:35Speaker 3: don't know why, but it was man takes train from
- 11:38Speaker 3: Sydney to Melbourne. Is it worth it?
- 11:40Speaker 7: Right?
- 11:41Speaker 3: Two hundred thousand views? And I was like, you know what,
- 11:44Speaker 3: if you can make a living doing this shit, go
- 11:45Speaker 3: for it. You're not ruined anyone do it right? That
- 11:48Speaker 3: guy is not a loser, you know, he's just doing
- 11:50Speaker 3: making content. It's the ones that were being immature. I
- 11:54Speaker 3: think that's what they put more perking fun act here.
- 11:55Speaker 6: I guess so yeah, I mean, look this this episode
- 11:58Speaker 6: is two thousand and nine. It's sort of pre all
- 12:00Speaker 6: the YouTube snanding is that we're currently seeing, particularly people
- 12:04Speaker 6: who somewhere.
- 12:06Speaker 3: It was computely targeting. I thought it was two thousand
- 12:09Speaker 3: and nine. That was all that YouTube pranks, the coning
- 12:12Speaker 3: and stuff that was twenty ten. We remember, I don't
- 12:15Speaker 3: know what's coning again? Oh god, So there's a guy,
- 12:17Speaker 3: Uckie Stevens was his name. I ended up doing a
- 12:20Speaker 3: radio show with him. But he started to think where
- 12:22Speaker 3: he'd go to macas and he'd order an ice cream
- 12:23Speaker 3: cone and he grab it upside down. Remember planking was
- 12:27Speaker 3: a thing. Then he mak and then that's where coning
- 12:29Speaker 3: was formed, and he went viral on YouTube, became like
- 12:32Speaker 3: a million subscribers on YouTube, those kind of things. That
- 12:35Speaker 3: was two thousand and two and ten, Like this is
- 12:36Speaker 3: right in the era of immature, petty, ridiculous. It was
- 12:39Speaker 3: like it was the evolution of the jackass, the jackass era.
- 12:43Speaker 3: I was doing stuff with your mates, and it was like,
- 12:45Speaker 3: oh now we can Now we've got cameras on our phones,
- 12:47Speaker 3: we can film our stuff and put it on YouTube.
- 12:49Speaker 3: But he says a line, Andy Hamilton says, here in
- 12:51Speaker 3: my day the only option was local TV. Where now
- 12:54Speaker 3: you've got the idea of doing pranks for YouTube.
- 12:55Speaker 6: Okuess So yeah, look, time has just lost all meaning
- 12:59Speaker 6: for me. Yeah, I guess I was thinking of more
- 13:01Speaker 6: of I don't know names really spring to mind, but
- 13:05Speaker 6: you know people who just annoy people in public and
- 13:08Speaker 6: for the clicks essentially, you know, sort of going up
- 13:11Speaker 6: and sort of getting in people's faces while filming it and.
- 13:15Speaker 3: Or you know that's been happened since then. Man, yeah,
- 13:18Speaker 3: I know, I get the feeling. If Andy was doing
- 13:20Speaker 3: something like that at the at the end of this episode,
- 13:23Speaker 3: if he achieved online fame or YouTube fame by being
- 13:27Speaker 3: someone who was you know, going from pulling people's pants
- 13:30Speaker 3: down in public or something like that, and it's like,
- 13:31Speaker 3: oh my god.
- 13:32Speaker 6: Look at the cliqus brek up. Then Lisa's justified in
- 13:34Speaker 6: saying lose. I know, I get holy what you're saying
- 13:37Speaker 6: about the end. It's the writer's sort of poking fun
- 13:39Speaker 6: of themselves. This didn't feel Simpsons to me.
- 13:41Speaker 3: It felt like, again, more of a reaction the sort
- 13:43Speaker 3: of family guy and the humor at the time. It
- 13:46Speaker 3: didn't feel like the Simpsons were setting the pace. It
- 13:47Speaker 3: felt like it was responding to what was going on,
- 13:50Speaker 3: and not in a way there was like compounding on.
- 13:52Speaker 3: It's like, oh, we've got to compete with this, and
- 13:55Speaker 3: I don't know, just the whole time of the episode
- 13:57Speaker 3: just didn't quite sit right with me for some reason.
- 13:59Speaker 3: Now I'm not saying, oh I hate this, but it's like, yeah,
- 14:03Speaker 3: this doesn't feel the taste is quite not quite therefore interesting.
- 14:07Speaker 3: I quite liked Homer in this episode and the fact
- 14:10Speaker 3: that he despite not agreeing, not wanting to have to
- 14:13Speaker 3: eat healthy foods, he just went along with it anyway. Sure,
- 14:15Speaker 3: you know, he's working overtime, so we can buy some
- 14:17Speaker 3: fruit salads and things like that. And at the end
- 14:19Speaker 3: where Marge finds the precious, the precious what was it
- 14:21Speaker 3: called the stash the stash of foot. Yeah, so I
- 14:24Speaker 3: originally thought had my notes. It's disappointing that the healthy
- 14:27Speaker 3: eating story didn't really get an ending because Marginal I
- 14:29Speaker 3: thought it was going to be the kids would catch
- 14:31Speaker 3: the parents eating the junk food. I was like, you
- 14:33Speaker 3: know what, no, no, no, this is literally life. This
- 14:37Speaker 3: is Nikola and I. This is what happens when you're
- 14:38Speaker 3: a parent. You want to make sure your kids eat healthy,
- 14:41Speaker 3: but then when they go to bed, you go and
- 14:42Speaker 3: get KFC. You know, we've hit we've passed that peak. Man,
- 14:47Speaker 3: You know what I mean. It's like when your kids
- 14:48Speaker 3: you're growing, youre going to have the right foods, make
- 14:50Speaker 3: sure you grow correctly and your brain's functioning, so you're
- 14:52Speaker 3: learning in school and whatnot. So you try it. You
- 14:54Speaker 3: want to do your best for your kids in the
- 14:56Speaker 3: sense of feeding them the healthy foods. But then you know,
- 14:59Speaker 3: sometimes at the end of the day, tired and you're
- 15:01Speaker 3: you know what, I'm going to get kernel on the
- 15:03Speaker 3: line and just guessing KFC. So that story that that
- 15:06Speaker 3: ending there actually wasn't ending. That is literally life. And
- 15:09Speaker 3: that's why I thought, you know what this feels to
- 15:10Speaker 3: me as a parent watching Classic symps because this is
- 15:13Speaker 3: this is like watching life.
- 15:14Speaker 6: Okay, well, if it resonates with you, that's good. Yeah, yeah,
- 15:17Speaker 6: But again, to me, look just like a couple of
- 15:19Speaker 6: things you mentioned as well. I mean, I know that
- 15:21Speaker 6: they've always you know, shouted out pop culture references and
- 15:26Speaker 6: things like that, something like oh you found the press
- 15:28Speaker 6: is like that feels that felt cheap to me.
- 15:30Speaker 3: It just felt yeah.
- 15:31Speaker 6: And even the the thing when they're in what is
- 15:35Speaker 6: supposedly a Whole Foods or whatever, it's like, oh, in
- 15:37Speaker 6: this organic place and oh the food's you know, so
- 15:41Speaker 6: preservative free that it's actually going off, and you know,
- 15:44Speaker 6: and the girl behind the counter is tattooed, nose ringed.
- 15:47Speaker 6: All felt like this felt like an old man shaking
- 15:49Speaker 6: fistic cloud to me, like, oh, this is the way
- 15:52Speaker 6: the world is now.
- 15:53Speaker 3: It felt like that's how I look at those places.
- 15:55Speaker 3: How I.
- 15:57Speaker 6: Well, okay, that's cool man. Yeah this clip is different people. Yeah, yeah,
- 16:00Speaker 6: this clearly resonated with you more than it did with me.
- 16:02Speaker 3: With the Precious gag. So the Simpsons in their nineties
- 16:06Speaker 3: in the Golden Ear, we say we're talking with Josh
- 16:08Speaker 3: Weinstein about how they were very particular with the references
- 16:11Speaker 3: they would make that if you're a kid, you might
- 16:13Speaker 3: not understand it, but you knew it was something. Do
- 16:16Speaker 3: you think a kid, so you're five six year old?
- 16:18Speaker 3: Because Lord of the Rings is a decade old by
- 16:20Speaker 3: this point, right, do you think watching this that is
- 16:22Speaker 3: their version of a nineteen eighty half a decade old
- 16:25Speaker 3: by this stage. Yeah. Maybe the Precious that was in
- 16:27Speaker 3: two thousand and one. It's more like two thousand and two,
- 16:30Speaker 3: two thousand and three, and this is two thousand nine.
- 16:31Speaker 3: So was he not in the first one? Golin was
- 16:34Speaker 3: in the second one second, So that was two thousand
- 16:35Speaker 3: and three? Was it two thousand and two. That's seven
- 16:38Speaker 3: years old. Yeah, so just say we've watched an episode.
- 16:41Speaker 3: I watch episode The Simpsons in nineteen ninety two, like
- 16:43Speaker 3: they're referencing something from nineteen eighty five before I was born.
- 16:45Speaker 3: I wouldn't know what was going on. Maybe, Yeah, it's
- 16:52Speaker 3: each year. He is the thing.
- 16:53Speaker 6: If you if you're inclined to dislike an episode, or
- 16:55Speaker 6: if you've sort of if it's not sitting right with you,
- 16:57Speaker 6: it's clear this is cleanland sitting right, and now you're
- 16:59Speaker 6: more inclined to find old. Yeah, yeah, I'm sorry. I
- 17:01Speaker 6: mean I don't want to be fucking Debbie down here
- 17:03Speaker 6: or something, but I mean, what do you think of
- 17:06Speaker 6: of Jena Hill?
- 17:06Speaker 4: Then?
- 17:07Speaker 3: I thought he's fine. Yeah, I could tell it was
- 17:10Speaker 3: him from the get go. I was like, yeah, yeah,
- 17:12Speaker 3: that's Jonah Hill, and Jonah Hill in that time was
- 17:15Speaker 3: a pretty good get you know, he was, Oh absolutely.
- 17:17Speaker 3: I mean he's still a big star, but I think
- 17:19Speaker 3: I feel like he's he's popular with his waying now
- 17:21Speaker 3: because we've learned things about and his sort of accusations
- 17:24Speaker 3: like whatever. But he's he was at the peak of
- 17:26Speaker 3: his fat guy in comedy's era super Bad Yeah and eight.
- 17:31Speaker 6: Right, Yeah, he's definitely on the rise as a comedy star,
- 17:33Speaker 6: but it's just prior to him making this transition, because
- 17:37Speaker 6: he got like two Oscar nominations.
- 17:39Speaker 3: Yeah, it was it for Wolf of Wolf. He got
- 17:40Speaker 3: one for Wolf of Wall Street and one for money Ball.
- 17:42Speaker 3: He was. Yeah, he's like a legitimately good actor and
- 17:46Speaker 3: rely talented person. Yeah, but this is the era of like,
- 17:50Speaker 3: is he knocked up too? I think it's like a
- 17:51Speaker 3: side character. Wasn't it that did mister skin?
- 17:53Speaker 8: Was that?
- 17:53Speaker 3: Was that him doing?
- 17:54Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 17:55Speaker 3: Was he he was in that? Wasn't in? I think
- 17:57Speaker 3: he had a big part in forty year Old Virgin
- 17:59Speaker 3: And yeah he was a kid in the eBay store,
- 18:01Speaker 3: that's right, Yeah, Yeah, which I believe was his first
- 18:04Speaker 3: because that was before super Bad. Yeah.
- 18:07Speaker 6: I think he was in a movie before that called Accepted,
- 18:09Speaker 6: which I don't know it were. I think it to
- 18:11Speaker 6: start justin long. I don't know if it was Apataw
- 18:14Speaker 6: sort of related, but yeah, look I thought he did
- 18:19Speaker 6: just find in this Yeah, not bad at all.
- 18:20Speaker 3: I like that it wasn't Hey it's Jonah Hill. They're
- 18:22Speaker 3: actually using guest stars as characters the game, which I appreciate.
- 18:25Speaker 3: That's the thing. I think.
- 18:25Speaker 6: Yeah, Hill takes himself I want to say very seriously,
- 18:29Speaker 6: but I think he views himself as more than just hey,
- 18:32Speaker 6: I'm funny, fat guy. It's like, I can I can
- 18:34Speaker 6: do characters, I can act, I can actually create a
- 18:36Speaker 6: character from the ground up.
- 18:37Speaker 3: And he was kind of playing with Jonah Hill as character.
- 18:40Speaker 6: Yeah, he was playing to his strengths, but he was
- 18:41Speaker 6: also not just like hey, hey it's me Jonah Hill.
- 18:44Speaker 3: Yeah, by the end, he becomes a TV right, Like
- 18:46Speaker 3: he's actually got a gig and he's going to go
- 18:48Speaker 3: to the makeap room and whatnot. Also didn't mind speaking
- 18:51Speaker 3: of him being, you know, an actor and want to
- 18:54Speaker 3: but he's also a big Simpsons fan and apparently he
- 18:57Speaker 3: said he had written almost one hundred Simpsons scripts himself.
- 19:00Speaker 3: You sent them into the studio and never wand to replies.
- 19:02Speaker 3: You wouldn't. But do you ever feel like those scripts
- 19:05Speaker 3: that they've received, do you think they actually ever received
- 19:07Speaker 3: them and read them or and just not go back
- 19:08Speaker 3: or do you think they just go straight to the bin?
- 19:10Speaker 3: I imagine illegal reason, they probably must go straight to
- 19:12Speaker 3: the bin. You hear so many people saying, please don't
- 19:14Speaker 3: send me your script. Yeah, I'm not allowed to Yeah,
- 19:16Speaker 3: I'm not Yeah, it could be.
- 19:17Speaker 6: The greatest thing I've ever read. I'm not allowed to
- 19:19Speaker 6: read it because if I can't use ninety percent of it,
- 19:22Speaker 6: but ten percent of it might be like that's really interesting,
- 19:25Speaker 6: or and I don't consciously copy it, but it's like
- 19:30Speaker 6: it ends up in something I've written.
- 19:31Speaker 3: You probably have the right to sue me. I wonder too,
- 19:33Speaker 3: if you're writing a script and you're kind of an
- 19:36Speaker 3: idea to get Oh, I was in that specscript I
- 19:37Speaker 3: read that time that kids sent in. It's like you
- 19:40Speaker 3: sort of feel like you couldn't write it. Then that's
- 19:41Speaker 3: correct where if you come up with yourself and you
- 19:43Speaker 3: didn't read that, you like, what a great idea, Even
- 19:45Speaker 3: if you've been written by somebody, you feel like you've
- 19:47Speaker 3: come up with it.
- 19:48Speaker 6: This happened the other day. I was listening to some
- 19:50Speaker 6: podcast and I listened to a lot of podcasts. Oh yeah,
- 19:55Speaker 6: but I've been batting around a story idea for ages. Yeah,
- 19:59Speaker 6: and it was sort of, you know, tied to existing
- 20:02Speaker 6: ip It's like, this will be a great way to
- 20:03Speaker 6: sort of expand on that. And then was listening to
- 20:06Speaker 6: this podcast that I thought i'd maybe heard before. And
- 20:08Speaker 6: then the guy and it was basically exactly the same
- 20:10Speaker 6: thing that I was thinking. It's like, okay, well, either
- 20:12Speaker 6: this is not that original an idea, or I've heard
- 20:15Speaker 6: this before and thought that and then later on came
- 20:18Speaker 6: up with the idea and thought that it was fine.
- 20:21Speaker 6: It was like a yeah, but there are only so
- 20:23Speaker 6: many ideas out there, aren't there.
- 20:24Speaker 3: I remember when I was I was like fourteen, got
- 20:26Speaker 3: my guitar and I was writing songs and whatnot, and
- 20:28Speaker 3: I wrote a song it was called Happiness is a
- 20:30Speaker 3: Golden Gun. And then I'll discovered the Beatles and I
- 20:32Speaker 3: was like, oh, yeah, they got a song is a
- 20:35Speaker 3: Warm Gun.
- 20:36Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 20:37Speaker 3: There was a great.
- 20:38Speaker 6: Interview with one of my favorite singer songwriters and in
- 20:41Speaker 6: this guy named Nick Lowe, and he was saying, yeah, look,
- 20:45Speaker 6: the first things you write are essentially copies of your
- 20:49Speaker 6: very favorite person.
- 20:51Speaker 3: And then it's like, but I didn't discovered the Beatles
- 20:53Speaker 3: yet though, but that well, yeah, but you're sort of
- 20:54Speaker 3: heared by osmosis, not habit the warm I reckon anyway. Yeah,
- 20:57Speaker 3: But then it was so I got maybe a second
- 21:00Speaker 3: third favorite bit one was like what if I did
- 21:03Speaker 3: you know it's mostly A but with a little bit
- 21:05Speaker 3: of B. You put a clock in it and then
- 21:07Speaker 3: lit a little for columb Yeah, and then eventually you
- 21:10Speaker 3: sort of the more you do that, all your influences
- 21:13Speaker 3: sort of merge and become something that's yours, and you know,
- 21:16Speaker 3: you merge it with your own sort of experiences and
- 21:18Speaker 3: thoughts and feelings as well. So, yeah, of course that's
- 21:21Speaker 3: going to happen. This show is brought to you by

- 21:47Speaker 3: Skinner story at the start? I didn't mind it again
- 21:51Speaker 3: as throwing history out the window. But by this point,
- 21:53Speaker 3: who cares, You're just going to accept it, right, But
- 21:55Speaker 3: I like the idea of Skinner being a cool principle. Yeah,
- 21:58Speaker 3: Like he was on Who's the From Home agost to College?
- 22:02Speaker 3: He's playing more. Which band was it? Pretenders and Pretenders? Yeah,
- 22:05Speaker 3: they're basis. Yeah, I mean I love the idea that
- 22:08Speaker 3: he was slightly longer hair and you know, like to
- 22:10Speaker 3: go for he was frisbee in extreme freezing, good shape,
- 22:13Speaker 3: in good shape. Yeah, yeah, I wanted is Skinner still
- 22:16Speaker 3: in good shape? I feel it feels like the kind
- 22:18Speaker 3: of guy. Have you ever seen him with his shirt off?
- 22:20Speaker 7: No?
- 22:21Speaker 3: I mean it was always the great gag that will
- 22:25Speaker 3: the Williams in shape, and especially Flanders was in shape.
- 22:28Speaker 3: I wonder it'd be a good gag. I'm not sure
- 22:30Speaker 3: if they've ever done it. I could be wrong. Member,
- 22:31Speaker 3: we have seen Skinner with his shirt off post arm days.
- 22:34Speaker 3: But if skinny are skinny. If Skinner and Willy have
- 22:37Speaker 3: an argument and Willi rips off his shirt and Skin
- 22:39Speaker 3: rips off his shirt, he's alsoagged.
- 22:43Speaker 6: He strikes me as the kind of person who I
- 22:45Speaker 6: don't know would be kind of disciplined in that way.
- 22:47Speaker 6: I think you feel like you'd get up and he'd
- 22:49Speaker 6: do twenty five push ups every morning. Yes, to keep
- 22:51Speaker 6: it a little bit tight.
- 22:53Speaker 3: My favorite. Did you have any favorite moments from the episode?
- 22:57Speaker 3: Not that many clearly see. Here's the other thing with
- 23:01Speaker 3: Skinner as well. Yeah, this felt underdeveloped me. It felt
- 23:04Speaker 3: like him telling Bart about Andy.
- 23:09Speaker 6: Was like a whole sigh op that he was kind
- 23:11Speaker 6: of like, you know, oh, this kid keeps out smarting me,
- 23:13Speaker 6: but I'm going to I'll try and get under his.
- 23:15Speaker 3: Skin by telling him about Oh no, there was the
- 23:18Speaker 3: best pranks for a makeup a story. Yeah, and really
- 23:20Speaker 3: just sort of mess with his head in that way,
- 23:23Speaker 3: which ties into I, like Skinner saying on the best
- 23:25Speaker 3: of your era. Maybe it's like this could be interesting
- 23:28Speaker 3: and this turns into a sort of psychological mind game
- 23:30Speaker 3: between these ts. I thought it would have been interesting
- 23:31Speaker 3: for how to turn out to be like Skinner, Oh,
- 23:34Speaker 3: it was the prank stuff, but the thing, Oh actually,
- 23:36Speaker 3: I do have another moment and his Skinner related Yeah,
- 23:39Speaker 3: when he's when he's cool dude and he's of have
- 23:41Speaker 3: to have his morning swim. See, someone is like, hey,
- 23:45Speaker 3: look at stay in school. Oh well, Jason, Jason, that's right.
- 23:49Speaker 3: But I'll tell you what that prank it's not a prank.
- 23:53Speaker 3: That's fucking psychopathic. A prank is kind of something. A
- 23:56Speaker 3: prank is like something that Bart does.
- 23:57Speaker 6: When this just defied credibility completely when when he sets
- 24:01Speaker 6: up the fake toilet or something, everyone has a laugh
- 24:03Speaker 6: at Skin's expense, and Skin is probably humiliated by that,
- 24:06Speaker 6: but at the same time it's for everyone else's amusement.
- 24:09Speaker 6: Putting him into a pool full of worms and then
- 24:11Speaker 6: sealing the pool for three that's like something out of
- 24:13Speaker 6: fucking seven.
- 24:14Speaker 3: I've got something. I find us a nation or something
- 24:17Speaker 3: or or whatever. It's like, it's pretty, it's not a break.
- 24:21Speaker 3: It's psychopathic. Yeah, there's no wonder Skinner became twisted and deranged.
- 24:25Speaker 3: Oh god, yeah, you come out of that, well, yeah,
- 24:27Speaker 3: you'd come out of that like golum. That's yeah. But
- 24:31Speaker 3: that was probably my two favorite moms. I'm sure it's
- 24:34Speaker 3: my favorite moments are the ones you despised tell me.
- 24:37Speaker 3: I really liked the self reference to at the end
- 24:39Speaker 3: to TV right as being losers. I like that. I
- 24:41Speaker 3: thought that was when it comes to breaking the fourth
- 24:43Speaker 3: wall gags. It's one of my favorite ones for a while.
- 24:45Speaker 3: I like the various soy foods at the supermarket being
- 24:47Speaker 3: put through the checkout. I just I just thought that
- 24:49Speaker 3: was great. I feel maybe I'm just on the same
- 24:51Speaker 3: wavelength as the writer here. The way we think about things.
- 24:54Speaker 3: And I like the end where where the parents realize
- 24:58Speaker 3: I'll come to the conclusion, will let junk Foo make
- 25:00Speaker 3: sure the kids eat healthy? I was like, that's literally
- 25:02Speaker 3: Nickola and artist. I found it very relatable, well seen
- 25:04Speaker 3: by this episode. Yeah, so you which is why you
- 25:06Speaker 3: didn't like it? Correct? Next question you there eating the beast?
- 25:13Speaker 3: All right? Trivia time. My first question for you is
- 25:15Speaker 3: how many more payments as skinn I got to make
- 25:17Speaker 3: before he is half owner of the car? Was fifty two? Five?
- 25:21Speaker 3: Thirty five?
- 25:23Speaker 6: Who is the fourth gradi and staff writer whose byline
- 25:26Speaker 6: is on the story? Nerd stands up to Bully memorial
- 25:29Speaker 6: service Wednesday?
- 25:31Speaker 3: Where the hell was that? When they're looking through the
- 25:33Speaker 3: micro effice or the internet or whatever? And oh, I
- 25:36Speaker 3: didn't see it? Which one? His name was? Billy Jones?
- 25:39Speaker 3: Billy Jones? All right? My next question for you is
- 25:41Speaker 3: where did they have to land the plane? When? Was it?
- 25:46Speaker 3: Nairobi Arobi? Correct? Yeah, some chick mister wedding? Yeah that
- 25:48Speaker 3: sound like a very Jonahill. Can you name three of
- 25:55Speaker 3: the pranks on the prank board at the very start?
- 25:58Speaker 3: I do have them in my notes. I'll try and
- 25:59Speaker 3: remember a little bit I'm not going to I reckon.
- 26:01Speaker 3: I can try and remember this. I'm trying to remember
- 26:03Speaker 3: you use that brain of my shorter memory is gone.
- 26:05Speaker 3: So one of them was untitled Skateboard Prank, untitled Scalped
- 26:08Speaker 3: Project project. Correct, you had h and if I thought
- 26:14Speaker 3: long and hard enough, I probably could get this.
- 26:18Speaker 7: Oh.
- 26:19Speaker 3: No, one of was good because it was a song
- 26:21Speaker 3: they sing it that who Let the Let the Dogs In? Yes,
- 26:26Speaker 3: it wasn't one of them, just like death to Rop Skinner,
- 26:30Speaker 3: Rop Skinner. That's three. It is what the rest of
- 26:33Speaker 3: gumbo was one of the Operation Gumbo, Operation Gumbo Drop,
- 26:36Speaker 3: Gumbo Drop. Okay, isn't that.
- 26:38Speaker 6: The titles were Night of a Thousand Skunks, Who Let
- 26:41Speaker 6: the Dogs In? Tour a Tour a Toilet alright, p Skinner.
- 26:45Speaker 6: I love the eighties, untitled Skateboard Project, and Operation Gumbo Drop.
- 26:49Speaker 3: I will say it feels like this season they're putting
- 26:51Speaker 3: more effort into signed gags again and little things that
- 26:53Speaker 3: you know kids needs will like. That is straight past
- 26:56Speaker 3: over kids head. Kids not gonna be able to read that.
- 26:58Speaker 3: Probably's not reading that because the kids are starting to
- 27:01Speaker 3: watch Simpsons a lot. Now I've just gone you know what,
- 27:03Speaker 3: all bets are off itching, scratchy is whatever, Just just
- 27:05Speaker 3: just watch your ship and then they're really enjoyed. But
- 27:08Speaker 3: those kind of sign gags lost on them. And my
- 27:11Speaker 3: final question for you is what is the brand of
- 27:14Speaker 3: biscuit or snack that Marge brings in and Manulis reads
- 27:18Speaker 3: and shows you're having these? Was it hydrario? It's hydroxios hydroxios. Yeah,
- 27:24Speaker 3: I hydroxio hydrox I'd one more for you. Yeah. What
- 27:27Speaker 3: is Andy Hamilton's address? No idea, It's fifty three Hyperion drive,
- 27:32Speaker 3: Hyperian Drive. All right, let's get into some stone cut
- 27:35Speaker 3: of shoutout. Shall we do it? Let's do it starting
- 27:47Speaker 3: with the lovely KTG. I feel like Katy g would
- 27:49Speaker 3: be up for a good prank. I think should be
- 27:50Speaker 3: a bit of a prankster in a day. What if
- 27:52Speaker 3: her prank was withdrawing her final support from the full

- 28:35Speaker 3: All right, So the original air date of this episode
- 28:37Speaker 3: was November twenty second, two thousand and nine, and it
- 28:40Speaker 3: was a Christmas episode, but Chrismas episode. It was like
- 28:43Speaker 3: had Christmas themes, Christmas jokes throughout, but it was a
- 28:47Speaker 3: diff an air around Christmas time? Where were the other
- 28:49Speaker 3: Christmas jokes? I mean, I'm sure you'll tell me as
- 28:51Speaker 3: we well, Millhouse mentions about Santa when you followed Santa Home.
- 28:54Speaker 3: Oh yeah, so it's just like a reference. But so
- 28:57Speaker 3: Rednecks and Roomsticks as the next episode that aired when
- 29:00Speaker 3: stuff maybe there was like a never be twenty nine.
- 29:02Speaker 3: How weird Yeah. Good.
- 29:04Speaker 6: I feel like the only Christmas thing other than that
- 29:05Speaker 6: thing that you just mentioned was, yeah, the Twelve Days
- 29:07Speaker 6: of Christmas song as the as the couch gag.
- 29:09Speaker 3: You feel like you would save that for Christmas time, right,
- 29:11Speaker 3: you would think? So let's let's skip through to the
- 29:13Speaker 3: closest one airs to Christmas time. Oh Brother, where Bart?
- 29:17Speaker 3: Well it's December thirteenth, Maybe one more Thursdays with aby
- 29:21Speaker 3: ed on January third? So the Last Old Brother where Bart? Fou?
- 29:26Speaker 3: Is it a Christmas episode? Who knows? Maybe we'll find out. Anyway,
- 29:29Speaker 3: I thought it was really odd to have a Christmas
- 29:31Speaker 3: themed couch gag. It seemed weird to me. What do
- 29:34Speaker 3: you think it would be in the top three films
- 29:35Speaker 3: at the US box office on November twenty second, two
- 29:37Speaker 3: thousand and nine, mister Davis, Oh, I I've got no idea.
- 29:41Speaker 3: I reckon thousand and nine. What was your favorite film
- 29:43Speaker 3: in two thousand and nine? Come on, man, don't remember
- 29:47Speaker 3: anything that came out in two thousand and nine, No,
- 29:49Speaker 3: nothing at all? All right? Well, the top film is
- 29:51Speaker 3: it Avatar? The top film was The Twilight Saga New Moon. Oh,
- 29:56Speaker 3: that was the number one film the US box office
- 29:58Speaker 3: the blind Side was number two and twenty twelve was
- 30:00Speaker 3: number one, number three, down from number one twelve. Okay,
- 30:03Speaker 3: well remember that. Yeah, of course I know what the
- 30:05Speaker 3: blinds hate is. Yeah, Sandra Bullet, you got an oscar
- 30:07Speaker 3: for it, didn't You didn't it? Yeah, I'm the Twilight
- 30:09Speaker 3: saga New Moon. No one talks about Twilight anymore. It
- 30:11Speaker 3: just completely vanished. It was like the Walking Dead as well.
- 30:14Speaker 3: Walking that still has its hardcore niche fan base, right
- 30:18Speaker 3: when Walking Dead was huge.
- 30:19Speaker 6: Game of Thrones, yeah got its Walking Dead's got its
- 30:22Speaker 6: spin offs, and I'm assuming that.
- 30:23Speaker 3: They must be. It's a part of the the zeigeis anymore,
- 30:26Speaker 3: you know, I matter. It feels like everyone was talking
- 30:27Speaker 3: about Walking Dead or you knew someone who was watching it.
- 30:30Speaker 3: I know anyone watching that show. Anyone know anyone who
- 30:32Speaker 3: talks about Twilight. And it's almost like people but they
- 30:34Speaker 3: say they're embarrassed to watch Twilight. Oh well, it's just
- 30:36Speaker 3: that it was always time. Yeah, Twilight. It's hard to
- 30:39Speaker 3: explain how big it was at the time. It was huge.
- 30:41Speaker 6: It's slowly starting to sort of creep back in. I
- 30:43Speaker 6: think they are having like rep screenings of it, are they? Yeah,
- 30:47Speaker 6: because Yeah, the generation that really grew up on it
- 30:49Speaker 6: and kids are now like, if not showing their kids,
- 30:52Speaker 6: the teething is reaching a stage where it's like, I'd
- 30:56Speaker 6: like to get a little of that sweet, sweet nostalgia.
- 30:59Speaker 3: Yeah, New Moon is like the second or third one.
- 31:02Speaker 3: Who was the last one I've never seen. I've actually
- 31:04Speaker 3: never seen any of them?
- 31:05Speaker 6: Twilight, and I just called the first one Twilt and
- 31:08Speaker 6: then it became the Twilight side because I mean, they
- 31:09Speaker 6: wrote all the books and I'm pretty sure the last
- 31:12Speaker 6: one were like Breaking Dawn Part one and two.
- 31:14Speaker 3: Twilight was released twenty eight Clips is in there as well.
- 31:17Speaker 3: The second was New Moon, and the third one was Eclipse,
- 31:19Speaker 3: and then fourth was Breaking Dawn Part one, then Breaking
- 31:22Speaker 3: There was five of them. It was five movies. Yeah, yeah,
- 31:25Speaker 3: well we and they pulled that so they split it
- 31:28Speaker 3: up into two movies. Harry Potter, Yes, yes, make that money.
- 31:32Speaker 3: But the production code for this episode was LA B
- 31:35Speaker 3: F one eight, written by Jeff Westbrook, directed by Chuck
- 31:37Speaker 3: Sheets and a guest Jennal Hill as Andy Hamilton and
- 31:40Speaker 3: of course Marshall Wallace rest in Peace as Edna Crobubble
- 31:43Speaker 3: Chiotball gig. Halloween does not kick thanksgivings ass and the
- 31:46Speaker 3: cashagg was when we discussed earlier where it's the twelve
- 31:48Speaker 3: Days of Christmas and it's just various Simpsons references like
- 31:52Speaker 3: ten Lenny's leaping five golden frings, blah blah. Anyway, there
- 31:57Speaker 3: you go. That is the cash gag. What was the
- 31:58Speaker 3: sign gag?
- 31:59Speaker 6: The sign gag doctor Otto's quote unquote wellness Clinic, which
- 32:03Speaker 6: is basically a wheat store. It's him holding a ball.
- 32:05Speaker 3: I'm not gonna lie. I'm kind of disappointed that the
- 32:07Speaker 3: sign gig doesn't get its own spot on the episode
- 32:10Speaker 3: features for Wikipedia. It deserves it, right, Well, it's another
- 32:14Speaker 3: chotboard gig. It does, it does, and you give it
- 32:18Speaker 3: the love that it deserves. That's correct, yes, but you
- 32:21Speaker 3: know Wikipedia is a public resource. You could re edit it.
- 32:24Speaker 3: Can you change that thing though? I'm not sure? Yeah,
- 32:26Speaker 3: who knows. But anyway, let's get into our run through
- 32:29Speaker 3: of pranks and greens. Sure kicks off with Barton Millhouse
- 32:33Speaker 3: that're going over their upcoming pranks and you've already read
- 32:35Speaker 3: them all out, won't do it again? And bart says
- 32:37Speaker 3: he's going to lead off with the exploding pen, a
- 32:38Speaker 3: prank that millhouse has never heard of. But then boom, boom,
- 32:41Speaker 3: it explodes in his face. Then they do some various
- 32:44Speaker 3: pranks on the teachers, so they put nitrous oxide and
- 32:47Speaker 3: carbon monoxide in the teacher's meeting room. They go from
- 32:49Speaker 3: laughing to sleeping, laughing to sleeping.
- 32:51Speaker 6: This is done to a very nice piece of music
- 32:53Speaker 6: by the Russian composer Sergei prokoreve I believe Okay Yeah,
- 32:58Speaker 6: which is used at the start, and then you hear
- 33:00Speaker 6: it at the very end of the episode as.
- 33:01Speaker 3: Well, to be oh, there we go. Skinner, they had
- 33:04Speaker 3: the fake toilet set up. Doesn't really make sense. This
- 33:06Speaker 3: one makes It makes no sense at all. It's in
- 33:08Speaker 3: the middle of the Gymnasu, why would he go to happen? Yeah,
- 33:10Speaker 3: had that happen. Then they throw balls down the hallway
- 33:13Speaker 3: to make the teachers get squashed in the hall and
- 33:15Speaker 3: then Skinner's motor from his car is attached to kind
- 33:18Speaker 3: of like what Kyle does with the balloons in up
- 33:20Speaker 3: and it opens up the hood and the motor float
- 33:22Speaker 3: floats away. Skinner says that was rebuilt, a rebuilt Yugoslavian engine.
- 33:25Speaker 3: Yugoslavin isn't in the country anymore. So he says bring
- 33:28Speaker 3: it back immediately, and Bat pulls out his gun, shoots
- 33:30Speaker 3: the balloons, and it falls out and crushes Skinner's car.
- 33:32Speaker 3: One presumes it's a be bigger. Yes, yeah, that was true. Yeah,
- 33:35Speaker 3: and it cuts through Bart polishing the slide and you
- 33:37Speaker 3: see Skinner's reaction in the In the slide, it's very clean,
- 33:40Speaker 3: rough slides away. But he goes to Skinner's office and
- 33:42Speaker 3: Skinner says that you are not the first person to
- 33:44Speaker 3: smash the car that I'm renting from mother.
- 33:46Speaker 8: Well, Grill, you're cheese yet, boy, you weren't the first
- 33:49Speaker 8: prankster to destroy the car I rent from mother, and
- 33:51Speaker 8: you won't be the last wrecked rent to own. Just
- 33:54Speaker 8: thirty five more payments and it's halfway in mind. The
- 33:56Speaker 8: point is, I've seen hooligans like you come and go.
- 33:58Speaker 8: You're all just a big blur of short pants and
- 34:01Speaker 8: sinister smiles.
- 34:02Speaker 1: Well maybe so, but I'm the best.
- 34:06Speaker 3: The best of your era.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Maybe are you saying there was a kid who was
- 34:09Speaker 1: worse than me?
- 34:10Speaker 3: Huh, way worse?
- 34:11Speaker 8: Anyway, you think no more about it, You're dismissed.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Wait wait, if there's someone worse, I have to know.
- 34:16Speaker 3: Who he is he it's a she, just gidding, it's
- 34:20Speaker 3: a guy. He then tells Millhouse that there was a
- 34:23Speaker 3: better prankster than me. Millhouse imagines what his psychic will
- 34:26Speaker 3: look like. It's a giant with a giant inhaler. Then
- 34:30Speaker 3: Marge is with her mother's group. They called what they
- 34:32Speaker 3: called midday Mommy, midday mummies. Yeah, midday mummies, and they
- 34:36Speaker 3: put on the diaper dandies, which is very much like
- 34:38Speaker 3: coca melon. The cococamone is a modern day diaperby bad daddies.
- 34:43Speaker 6: Okay, I'm aware of the term cocoa melon. I'm sure
- 34:46Speaker 6: it's a thing. I have never actually heard it. I
- 34:48Speaker 6: don't think I've ever actually heard baby shark either.
- 34:51Speaker 3: You've never heard baby shark? Yeah? Are you kidding me?
- 34:53Speaker 3: I'm trying to avoid it. I'll probably have for you.
- 34:56Speaker 3: It is a doo doo do do do do? It's
- 34:57Speaker 3: a baby shot do doo do do do?
- 35:00Speaker 4: Do?
- 35:00Speaker 3: Baby shout dud dude? Have you never heard it? I
- 35:03Speaker 3: have now. It's one of those things where I tried
- 35:05Speaker 3: to avoid and the kids put it on. I was like,
- 35:06Speaker 3: you know what, I can't I can't deny it's one
- 35:08Speaker 3: of the catches things. And you know what's also good
- 35:10Speaker 3: about is sometimes as a parent you just need to
- 35:12Speaker 3: accept kids like this shit and we create memories with it, right,
- 35:16Speaker 3: So like we put baby Shark on the car and
- 35:17Speaker 3: they have like the has that little baby shot and
- 35:19Speaker 3: then it's like mammy shots that gets bigger and bigger.
- 35:22Speaker 3: I don't know any of this, and we danced to
- 35:23Speaker 3: it in the car, and it's like, you know, I'll
- 35:25Speaker 3: look back fondly at those memories like baby Shark. You know,
- 35:27Speaker 3: it's just purely designed to generate income, right, to just
- 35:31Speaker 3: tap into that part of their brain that gets addicted
- 35:33Speaker 3: and things. But fuck, who cares?
- 35:35Speaker 7: Man.
- 35:35Speaker 3: Well, here's the thing, Dan, that's so fun. Here's the thing.
- 35:38Speaker 3: I'm a human being.
- 35:39Speaker 6: I have the natural sort of a biological imperative to
- 35:42Speaker 6: reproduce to you know, see the Davis's bloodline go on
- 35:45Speaker 6: and on. It would have been lovely to have been,
- 35:47Speaker 6: you know, a father and pass on my wisdom and
- 35:50Speaker 6: influence to the next generation. Phape is able to be
- 35:52Speaker 6: a grandfather or even a great grandfather and you know,
- 35:55Speaker 6: just feel the warmth and love of that that generational bond.
- 35:59Speaker 6: But I never wanted to hear any fucking music like that.
- 36:02Speaker 6: So I didn't have kids at all. You like the Wiggles,
- 36:04Speaker 6: that's the only reason you like the Wiggles so much
- 36:07Speaker 6: fun man, But I was very much like I got
- 36:09Speaker 6: to a point where I go, you know what, stop
- 36:11Speaker 6: being a fucking old man, grump prude and just have
- 36:14Speaker 6: some fun. And yeah, the Baby Shark, I'm gonna play
- 36:16Speaker 6: it for it. I'm gona play for you one day.
- 36:18Speaker 6: I'm gonna give you at least expect I'm going to
- 36:19Speaker 6: give you the I was gonna call you a three
- 36:22Speaker 6: A one day. Just play Baby Shark through the phone.
- 36:25Speaker 6: No pranks, that's gonna be the prank I'm gonna get
- 36:27Speaker 6: you with Baby Shark. Yeah, it's good fun.
- 36:29Speaker 3: I mean, it's all this I'm being facetious. Cokell yeah
- 36:33Speaker 3: of course. Yeah. But what Coke Melon is is it's
- 36:36Speaker 3: my numbing TV. But what it is is it's whoever
- 36:40Speaker 3: created it. So it was some people make Baby sho
- 36:43Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure created it. They realize parents need time
- 36:46Speaker 3: to themselves. Oh, parents need something that they can put
- 36:50Speaker 3: their kids in front of and go take a shit,
- 36:53Speaker 3: or go read a book for five minutes, ten minutes,
- 36:55Speaker 3: or just go have a break from being a parent, right,
- 36:58Speaker 3: And this thing here is the most like I said,
- 37:01Speaker 3: mind numbing thing you could ever imagine that you're putting
- 37:04Speaker 3: your kid in front of. But it's it looks like
- 37:06Speaker 3: an it looks like it's educational. It's like we're singing
- 37:09Speaker 3: about ABC's. It's like ABC's a b c's. And it's
- 37:14Speaker 3: just it's all the same tune of like I'll jump
- 37:17Speaker 3: in the bathtub, I'm gone, I wash my hair, and
- 37:22Speaker 3: every song follows that sort of tune and it keeps
- 37:25Speaker 3: watching it like this. I just mesmerized by the by
- 37:28Speaker 3: the way the way it looks. But you know, as
- 37:29Speaker 3: apparently you go, I just need ten minutes and that's
- 37:31Speaker 3: where the success for Cokemalon is born.
- 37:33Speaker 6: This is what happens to Adlans as well. Though I
- 37:35Speaker 6: was listening to it's an old song by now, but
- 37:37Speaker 6: I mean you're aware of the song somebody I used
- 37:39Speaker 6: to know by Ghostchet.
- 37:40Speaker 3: Oh yeah, you know, you try me recently. It's like
- 37:45Speaker 3: you listen to the tune of that, like this is
- 37:46Speaker 3: barbar black shape probably it is everything. Everything's something ud
- 37:50Speaker 3: do do do do. That's someone I used to know,
- 37:54Speaker 3: and it's also Barbara black shape it is. It's slightly
- 37:57Speaker 3: got a clock in it, but it does very much. Yeah,
- 38:00Speaker 3: it's like, you know, he smells like teen spirit. The
- 38:01Speaker 3: main riff is just the Pixie's song on the end
- 38:03Speaker 3: of the Beser. It's just it's more than a feeling
- 38:05Speaker 3: by Boston. Yeah. Yeah, to the point when Nevanna would
- 38:08Speaker 3: start playing more than a feeling at their geeks, shut
- 38:12Speaker 3: out everything, stolen from something. But they put on diaper
- 38:14Speaker 3: diaper dandies and I think this one is not garn
- 38:18Speaker 3: and poop in the tub. Yeah, I guess it's good.
- 38:20Speaker 3: It's good advice. Yeah, yeah, I guess so. I mean,
- 38:22Speaker 3: Nicola did it the other day, not recommended what take it?
- 38:25Speaker 3: Take it dump in the tub? Yeah, well both in there.
- 38:27Speaker 3: I was like, what are you doing? What are you
- 38:28Speaker 3: for the fuck wrong? She didn't really, But then you're
- 38:33Speaker 3: very convincing them. Yes, but then the march, the march
- 38:37Speaker 3: the much. But then Marge goes to get milk and
- 38:38Speaker 3: cookies for snack time. Everyone loves snack time, and she
- 38:41Speaker 3: arrives with snacks and everyone wants to eat, but all
- 38:43Speaker 3: the mothers just beate her.
- 38:45Speaker 4: Okay, everyone, snack time, I've got milk, and cookies hydroxials large.
- 38:52Speaker 7: How good you Those cookies are full of high fruit
- 38:55Speaker 7: past corn syrup and partially hydrogen needed oils.
- 38:58Speaker 1: Have you even read the books I've read? But this
- 39:00Speaker 1: is from the Quickie mad you and your husband worked there.
- 39:03Speaker 7: I would sooner pour the polluted water other gunches down
- 39:06Speaker 7: their gullets, then give them this cartoon of cow cancer
- 39:09Speaker 7: you call milk. Sorry, I don't know March until you
- 39:14Speaker 7: start serving healthy food. The midday mummies are pulling you
- 39:18Speaker 7: from snack rotation.
- 39:19Speaker 3: Wow, coraginated d the mother of the one ID. I
- 39:24Speaker 3: was about to say, so, we've got a Maggie baby
- 39:26Speaker 3: Gerald Truce here. Yeah, apparently so. But I like to
- 39:29Speaker 3: have you even read the books that I've read. Exactly.
- 39:33Speaker 3: That's one thing you hear when your first parent. When
- 39:34Speaker 3: you're a second parent, no one cares, but the first
- 39:35Speaker 3: parents they're always reading books. I've read this book, I've
- 39:37Speaker 3: read this book, ready books, what to expect when you're expecting. Yeah, exactly.
- 39:41Speaker 3: But then she gets sacked from the midday Mummies, which
- 39:43Speaker 3: I thought was a bit mean. That's a bit hush.
- 39:45Speaker 3: He beat my hush in de Bart is now in
- 39:46Speaker 3: the library trying to find out information on this old prankster.
- 39:50Speaker 3: He looks up old newspapers and you realize there was
- 39:51Speaker 3: a two week gap missing between when Skinner went from.
- 39:54Speaker 7: Cool to toool.
- 39:56Speaker 3: Yeah, and Lisa says, we need to figure out what
- 39:58Speaker 3: that was. And then noticed Willy's in the background of
- 40:01Speaker 3: one of the photos of Skinner when he was cool,
- 40:02Speaker 3: so he was obviously there. He's on the back. He's
- 40:04Speaker 3: feeling he's doing some work in the which doesn't make
- 40:07Speaker 3: sense because he was in the background when he was
- 40:09Speaker 3: the tool by that point. Yeah. But then Lisa asks
- 40:12Speaker 3: mart to distribute some papers around for her before he
- 40:15Speaker 3: goes to talk to will He says, of course, I'll
- 40:16Speaker 3: do that. Cut to him chucking him on the fire
- 40:18Speaker 3: when he's talking about the fire with Willy, and Willie says,
- 40:20Speaker 3: I won't tell you what happened because I've always been
- 40:22Speaker 3: swim teacher Willy, and he realizes, what I'm going to
- 40:25Speaker 3: tell you the story now. He tells me the story
- 40:27Speaker 3: of the night of the Wigglers. Even that was kind
- 40:29Speaker 3: of the morning of the Wigglers. Oh yeah, because it
- 40:33Speaker 3: was that was the sun going down at the point. No, No,
- 40:36Speaker 3: it was a morning to the morning, a morning swim
- 40:38Speaker 3: daily morning swim. Yeah, the skinner prepares for Yeah, he's
- 40:41Speaker 3: daily swim, and he jumps off the diving board because
- 40:43Speaker 3: the school had a pool at this point, and he
- 40:45Speaker 3: lands in a pool full of worms because the prankster,
- 40:48Speaker 3: we find out is Andy Hamilton filled it full of worms.
- 40:50Speaker 3: But not that, as he said, covered the pool as well.
- 40:53Speaker 3: That would be.
- 40:53Speaker 6: Terrifying diving into a pool. For that's fine. It's like
- 40:57Speaker 6: that gotcha covering in worms. I discussed, but I'm out
- 41:00Speaker 6: now that's great.
- 41:01Speaker 3: Logged him in there for three days, yeah, the weekend
- 41:03Speaker 3: and the Monday because it was teacher educational day or
- 41:06Speaker 3: whatever we have to learn anyway, but it was teacher
- 41:09Speaker 3: development day is what it was. So you get saved
- 41:11Speaker 3: on the Tuesday. And now he became the twister skinner
- 41:13Speaker 3: that we all know and really says his name was
- 41:15Speaker 3: Andy Hamilton. Then Marge, we get to Marge throwing at
- 41:18Speaker 3: all the bad food, the various things, the trans fat
- 41:21Speaker 3: and as well as hard poor corn, which I saw
- 41:23Speaker 3: was kind of funny. Then she Homer tries to putting
- 41:26Speaker 3: it out with bitch cream, but turns out that's petroleum,
- 41:28Speaker 3: a petroleum by a product, and that catches fire as well.
- 41:31Speaker 3: But Milhouse now go to Andy's house, and Millhouse says,
- 41:34Speaker 3: you know, it's not always good to meet your heroes
- 41:36Speaker 3: because I once followed Santa home from the mall and
- 41:39Speaker 3: what I saw wasn't pretty. Yeah, don't do that, kids, No, no,
- 41:43Speaker 3: allow Sander some I'm alone time. We're doing some grown
- 41:45Speaker 3: up We're doing Santa photos this Monday. And Elliott's already
- 41:50Speaker 3: sat in the con and he's going, this is just
- 41:52Speaker 3: some what of Sander's helpers, right, it's not really Santa.
- 41:53Speaker 3: And I was like, I think, I think once you
- 41:55Speaker 3: put on the suit, you kind of becomes Sandal at
- 41:56Speaker 3: the Santa CRUs movie. He's like, yeah, yeah, okay, cool.
- 41:59Speaker 3: He's sort of starting sort of ask questions. Well done,
- 42:01Speaker 3: Tim Allen doing the heavy lifting for us, all our
- 42:03Speaker 3: sinners out there. Yeah. But the thing is what I
- 42:05Speaker 3: feel like I kind of ruined the illusion for Alliot
- 42:08Speaker 3: last year. Remember I told you the Santa pulled his
- 42:10Speaker 3: beard down, You're a better say something else. So Allie
- 42:15Speaker 3: sitting on his Santa pulled his own beard down. So
- 42:17Speaker 3: he's like, Alli, So Alliot, Holy Holly's like getting ready.
- 42:19Speaker 3: It looks at Alliott and he goes, pulls, he pulls it,
- 42:22Speaker 3: pulls the beard down so Ali could see like his
- 42:25Speaker 3: mouth and stuff, and then smoked and put it back up.
- 42:27Speaker 3: And I went, I said, what are you doing? Don't
- 42:29Speaker 3: break car? He goes, oh, I thought he knew. I
- 42:32Speaker 3: was like, what, what the fuck would you assume this
- 42:35Speaker 3: kid who's come to get a photo of Santa knew
- 42:37Speaker 3: that you weren't Santa. I was like, that's worthy of
- 42:41Speaker 3: a complaint, right, you're paying like eighty bucks of these
- 42:44Speaker 3: photos for the package and whatnot. Yeah, like magnets and
- 42:47Speaker 3: all the kind shit. Maye, it's fifty bucks under. It's
- 42:49Speaker 3: more than it should be. And Alice is there and
- 42:51Speaker 3: he pulls the beard down. I'm like, what are we
- 42:53Speaker 3: doing here? You're on the clog, buddy. Yeah, I don't know. Anyway,
- 42:56Speaker 3: I feel like you would be a good Santa. I
- 42:58Speaker 3: feel like you'd be good with the kids, you know,
- 43:00Speaker 3: like you just you'd get into the Christmas spirit if
- 43:02Speaker 3: you had the Sanda suit. I feel like you would
- 43:03Speaker 3: just be your turn from screwge to Santa. Oh well,
- 43:06Speaker 3: we added, Okay, I'm known for committing to the bit. Yeah,
- 43:10Speaker 3: let's see, let's let's make guy the fourth Finger Discount

- 43:47Speaker 3: But they go to that, they get to the Andy's
- 43:50Speaker 3: house and the doorknob has been glued and it's glued
- 43:52Speaker 3: loosener on the thing. He pulls the glue loosener and
- 43:54Speaker 3: the bucket officials falls on Bart. Then this is where
- 43:57Speaker 3: they're meeting Andy. Then he says, when I was your age,
- 43:59Speaker 3: we couldn't film pranks for YouTube. It was local TV
- 44:01Speaker 3: or nothing. You're obviously pringles and bars. Isn't he shure
- 44:04Speaker 3: there's no spring snakes in here? No, of course not.
- 44:06Speaker 3: And it turns out it's a real snake that's been defanged,
- 44:08Speaker 3: but bites it, tries to bite Millhouse and it can
- 44:10Speaker 3: still rub poison on him with it, with his gums,
- 44:14Speaker 3: with his gams. Yeah. Then we cut to Millhouse, who
- 44:16Speaker 3: now has the shivers. He's all sick because he's had
- 44:18Speaker 3: the poison rubbed on him, and and he's showing various
- 44:20Speaker 3: slides of his pranks. Do you feel that's kind of
- 44:22Speaker 3: them trying to acknowledge that this guy's is a bit
- 44:24Speaker 3: out of touch because he's using slides maybe, Yeah, that's
- 44:27Speaker 3: a good point. Yeah, he's not putting video who knows him?
- 44:29Speaker 3: But he's nineteen, isn't he. Yeah, so he's not necessarily
- 44:32Speaker 3: well he's not old. But if he's the ghost of
- 44:36Speaker 3: Bart future, Yeah, to use a Christmasy term, then this
- 44:40Speaker 3: is his glory days were ten years ago, right, how
- 44:43Speaker 3: old's bar?
- 44:44Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 44:44Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, so we're talking. Yeah, so we're doing a
- 44:47Speaker 3: different time, different are Yeah, that's true. Yep. Then there's
- 44:50Speaker 3: yeh because this guy he's still doing pranks, but he
- 44:53Speaker 3: was in his peak when he was Bart stage. It
- 44:55Speaker 3: makes sense. Yeah, he shows shots of the bear traps
- 44:58Speaker 3: at school, the fire water fountain. Then he faked a
- 45:00Speaker 3: heart attack on an international flight which had to be
- 45:03Speaker 3: landed in Naobi, and she missed her wedding. Then we
- 45:06Speaker 3: see in the background the snake cross back into Milhouse's shirt.
- 45:09Speaker 3: Then bart is telling Lisa about all the various pranks
- 45:11Speaker 3: this guy's done, how cool he is, and then when
- 45:13Speaker 3: he gets when his mum gets home, she makes his
- 45:14Speaker 3: favorite sandwich. And this is where Lisa starts doing. What
- 45:16Speaker 3: you didn't like was the loser aspect, which, as I agree,
- 45:20Speaker 3: the way she went about it was kind of mean,
- 45:21Speaker 3: but it's kind of losers, right, is his mum no job,
- 45:27Speaker 3: does pranks, doesn't earn a living from because he's living
- 45:29Speaker 3: at home with his mum. Yeah, I would just given
- 45:33Speaker 3: what you know about Lisa, you would think that she
- 45:35Speaker 3: would be kind of taking more of the approach of
- 45:37Speaker 3: like she'd be a bit more sympathetic, like this guy
- 45:40Speaker 3: seems kind of lost and also looking out for a
- 45:42Speaker 3: brother's I don't think you want to be like this guy.
- 45:44Speaker 3: I think this guy's a poor role model for maybe
- 45:47Speaker 3: because he reminds her of the barked the barts of
- 45:50Speaker 3: her life.
- 45:50Speaker 6: Quite possibly, Yeah, the pranksters, except you know he's never Yeah, man,
- 45:54Speaker 6: he's never done a thing to her, and he hasn't.
- 45:56Speaker 3: No, yeah, yeah, they use Lisa as the vehicle to
- 45:59Speaker 3: voice that agenda through this episode. I mean, who else
- 46:02Speaker 3: would you use? Really? This is probably the only one
- 46:04Speaker 3: he could really use. My yeah, probably.
- 46:06Speaker 1: Oh Andy has a perfect life.
- 46:08Speaker 4: All he does is reminisce about his pranks, and when
- 46:10Speaker 4: his mom gets home from work, she makes him whatever,
- 46:12Speaker 4: saying what he wants. M M.
- 46:14Speaker 1: This Andy sounds like kind of a loser. How about
- 46:17Speaker 1: someone so much like me be a loser?
- 46:19Speaker 5: Lose?
- 46:20Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 46:21Speaker 4: Would a loser have showed me how to put printer's
- 46:23Speaker 4: ink in a bottle of shampoo?
- 46:25Speaker 7: I never felt so clean?
- 46:27Speaker 3: And who's there?
- 46:29Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 46:30Speaker 1: But yeah, this is making me see things from both
- 46:33Speaker 1: sides again.
- 46:35Speaker 2: I warned you about that she.
- 46:36Speaker 4: Shouldn't bard have all the information he needs to make
- 46:38Speaker 4: an informed decision.
- 46:40Speaker 3: Well, you know you're doing it to me.
- 46:43Speaker 7: Oh.
- 46:45Speaker 3: I think my problem with the whole loser thing is
- 46:47Speaker 3: I never liked to win. Jim Carrey today though, when
- 46:49Speaker 3: did he do it?
- 46:49Speaker 4: He?
- 46:50Speaker 3: I think did he do it in Anceentura? He did
- 46:53Speaker 3: not the losing, but he did call someone a pathetic
- 46:57Speaker 3: I think he calls Harry pathetic. Loser and dumb and dumber. No, no,
- 47:00Speaker 3: I think in ace ventury he goes loose. That's carry,
- 47:06Speaker 3: isn't it.
- 47:06Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 47:07Speaker 6: Yeah, that just strikes me as kind of over the top.
- 47:09Speaker 6: You're working it a bit too much. You're trying to
- 47:11Speaker 6: squeeze so.
- 47:12Speaker 3: Much juice out. Yea. That was his first big film though, right,
- 47:15Speaker 3: oh yeah? And then yeah, yes, what dumb and dumber
- 47:18Speaker 3: and masking the same year. That's insane. But as Marge,
- 47:21Speaker 3: if you've got a friend who's a bit of a loser, like,
- 47:23Speaker 3: what do you do about it? If you lookup to him?
- 47:24Speaker 3: But he's a bit of a loser, And she says, well,
- 47:26Speaker 3: when you care about somebody, it's not out of line
- 47:27Speaker 3: to try and push him in the right direction. And
- 47:29Speaker 3: then he calls her out not washing the carrots. Did
- 47:32Speaker 3: you watch those carrots? No, I didn't put them in
- 47:34Speaker 3: the bin. You could have washed them. Deaths Now at
- 47:37Speaker 3: the health food supermarket and march everything. He looks bad
- 47:40Speaker 3: on the shelf, but good INNI column and he sees
- 47:42Speaker 3: a guy with a recycling bag, which now doesn't seem
- 47:45Speaker 3: out of the norm. Everyone has recycling in La anyway.
- 47:47Speaker 3: Victoria is not every state. I don't think in Australia
- 47:49Speaker 3: or is it every state now, I would think it
- 47:51Speaker 3: would be every state. Certainly Victoria. You don't have plastic
- 47:53Speaker 3: bags here anymore any Yeah, but.
- 47:56Speaker 6: Back at this stage of the game was very much like, oh,
- 47:59Speaker 6: if you're shopping out of shop that's all organic products,
- 48:01Speaker 6: that of course you're going to have your own shopping back. Otherwise,
- 48:03Speaker 6: what's wrong with you?
- 48:04Speaker 3: Because, as list it points out, it ruins the mating
- 48:06Speaker 3: rituals of the jellyfish and stupid horny jellyfish nittering our dudes.
- 48:10Speaker 3: Then margins at the checkout and the checkout chick is
- 48:12Speaker 3: reading out all the various things. It's all soy based,
- 48:14Speaker 3: so non soy dairy based, soy sauce, chef soyer d
- 48:17Speaker 3: soy based spaghetti, soy balls, free range gluten, this ultra
- 48:20Speaker 3: vegan invisible cheese, marginals. You don't have to read it out.
- 48:23Speaker 3: I already know what I'm getting. And it comes to
- 48:25Speaker 3: seven hundred and ninety dollars, and she realized she's got
- 48:28Speaker 3: the blueberries, and now it's eight hundred and thirty dollars.
- 48:30Speaker 3: Homo says, I'm going to go to a normal supermarket
- 48:31Speaker 3: next week. She points out this food won't last a
- 48:33Speaker 3: day and to start shriveling up. I get what you
- 48:36Speaker 3: say about alben yellow at cloud, but natural food does
- 48:38Speaker 3: not last as long though, no no, I was disappointed.
- 48:41Speaker 3: We went to our local fruit market the other day, right,
- 48:44Speaker 3: like the want I don't support the big supermarkets when
- 48:46Speaker 3: it comes to fruit away from the local food shop. Now,
- 48:48Speaker 3: I won't name it because it's kind of thrown them
- 48:49Speaker 3: under the bus, but you know the one I'm talking about,
- 48:52Speaker 3: And I just grab strawberry, pune off the thing off
- 48:53Speaker 3: the stacks, like strawberries go home. I realize that all
- 48:56Speaker 3: moldy or moldy because one has been moldy. And when
- 49:00Speaker 3: one happens, yes, it's it spreads, yes. And I was like, ah,
- 49:06Speaker 3: but that will happen in a supermarket. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 49:09Speaker 3: So I quickly went back and got a new one.
- 49:10Speaker 3: So Nico, because Nicholas like she prefers the supermarket once
- 49:14Speaker 3: for some reason, She's like, that does taste a little
- 49:16Speaker 3: bit different. Is that because they've been frozen and defrosted.
- 49:19Speaker 3: Probably that's what happens. But Bart is now with Andy,
- 49:22Speaker 3: who was spray painting various street signs. He turns into
- 49:25Speaker 3: bon away and he's got arrows both ways. Wickham says
- 49:28Speaker 3: he follows the signing yeah, but then asks if this
- 49:32Speaker 3: is how you expect, if this is how you want
- 49:34Speaker 3: to live your life. You know you're borrowing spray paint
- 49:36Speaker 3: from it from a ten year old kid. And he's like,
- 49:38Speaker 3: well that worry man, I'll say it. I'll pay you
- 49:39Speaker 3: back when I get way. Allow it's not this one,
- 49:40Speaker 3: but the next one. And he finally agrees. He's like,
- 49:42Speaker 3: you know what I need to get my life back
- 49:44Speaker 3: on track, and Bart says he'll get him a job
- 49:46Speaker 3: with Krusty because he owes him for committing perjury. I
- 49:49Speaker 3: think a case or something. Then he takes off his hat.
- 49:52Speaker 3: He took the little island of hair. Would you ever
- 49:54Speaker 3: rock that? Do you think? Oh? Never? I see some people.
- 49:57Speaker 3: I've seen a couple of people recently within us like
- 49:59Speaker 3: why are you doing? Man? Give it up the island,
- 50:01Speaker 3: give it up? Do it now? At the Krusty studios.
- 50:08Speaker 4: Hey, hey, if it isn't my old friend you, Krusty
- 50:13Speaker 4: Anita favor for.
- 50:14Speaker 2: You, get anything, anything at all. Although I won't read screenplays,
- 50:18Speaker 2: that's for your protection. Oh and you can't write on
- 50:20Speaker 2: my private jet. And I won't give a struggling young
- 50:22Speaker 2: comics first chance. I won't give a broken down hackers
- 50:25Speaker 2: last chance. I won't buy you kids booze. The judge
- 50:28Speaker 2: was very clear on that.
- 50:30Speaker 1: Now, what can I do for you?
- 50:32Speaker 2: Oh and I don't sign footballs unless you're dying, and
- 50:34Speaker 2: it reverts back to me after six months if you're
- 50:36Speaker 2: not dead.
- 50:37Speaker 6: Apparently all those things yes, according to the Internet, which,
- 50:41Speaker 6: as we know, always is in the right direction. All
- 50:43Speaker 6: those all those things that krusty mentions derived from Jonahill movies.
- 50:48Speaker 3: Really yeah, which off booze?
- 50:50Speaker 6: Well, I won't I won't buy beer for kids, very
- 50:54Speaker 6: strict about that. That's super bad. I won't give a
- 50:56Speaker 6: young comic a break. I think that's from the movie
- 50:59Speaker 6: Funny People.
- 51:00Speaker 3: Many people hadn't come out yet, the two thousand and
- 51:02Speaker 3: eight Funny People. I think I'm relatively across the board
- 51:05Speaker 3: with jonah Hill movies. But yeah, I couldn't any people
- 51:07Speaker 3: was in two thousand and nine ten just come out
- 51:10Speaker 3: Travel Lights earlier.
- 51:11Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, I couldn't think of any others though. So Look,
- 51:15Speaker 6: maybe the IMDb was not.
- 51:18Speaker 3: Quite right with the only two that were the only
- 51:22Speaker 3: two that I could think of. Did I just say
- 51:24Speaker 3: that on IMDb that all of these are references to
- 51:27Speaker 3: something but didn't give you any examples. No, I you
- 51:31Speaker 3: love those people, but thumbs down.
- 51:32Speaker 6: People will just say anything on the endnet that got
- 51:34Speaker 6: sixteen out of sixteen up votes.
- 51:35Speaker 3: Really all the things that Crusty listed, I that you
- 51:38Speaker 3: remember the two sixteen up votes. Yeah, we wo're not
- 51:41Speaker 3: do events in movies with Journey Hill, So what other
- 51:43Speaker 3: events were there? So it was I won't sign of
- 51:46Speaker 3: football unless it's if you're a dying kid, but if
- 51:49Speaker 3: you don't die with it. Yeah, money was Moneyball? It
- 51:53Speaker 3: wasn't money doesn't think that was twenty eleven, wasn't it.
- 51:55Speaker 3: It's got nothing to do with moneyball. Basically, I don't
- 51:58Speaker 3: know what the rest are. Anyway, I'm sure let us
- 52:01Speaker 3: a little bit like you know, the eBay thing and
- 52:04Speaker 3: forty year old virgin. But he's driving it, and as
- 52:06Speaker 3: I was saying, he says, avoid anyone who else screwed over.
- 52:08Speaker 3: It's like ex wife dog Eye abandoned a blood child. Yes, yes,
- 52:13Speaker 3: but and Lisa are now playing tittley Wink, which I
- 52:15Speaker 3: have no idea what it is, but one saying Tittley
- 52:16Speaker 3: in one saying wink and Andy is standing in the
- 52:19Speaker 3: driveway and not at work and but it's like, what
- 52:20Speaker 3: do you mean? Man? He says, look, I quit because
- 52:22Speaker 3: he's asked me to do stuff. He's like, I'm your boss,
- 52:24Speaker 3: and he's like, yeah, whatever. So he quit after doing nothing.
- 52:26Speaker 3: But he goes, today wasn't a waste a day because
- 52:28Speaker 3: I've got this ice cube with a fly in it.
- 52:29Speaker 3: And Bart's like, dude, what are you doing? Like I
- 52:31Speaker 3: stacked my stuff out for you. Then Lisa writes past
- 52:33Speaker 3: saying loser come out from commercial and fly and they
- 52:37Speaker 3: ask you prank is a Simpson's favorite that is indeed yes,
- 52:40Speaker 3: The sut it in as a gag. Mothers are now
- 52:42Speaker 3: again at the Simpsons house. They give the Margin another chance.
- 52:45Speaker 3: They're now dancing to a song by the Diaper Dandies
- 52:48Speaker 3: as doggies and kiddies don't last forever, but they do
- 52:50Speaker 3: last better than fish flush flash for flush fish fish.
- 52:53Speaker 3: Margin offers some healthy food, but unfortunately she serves it
- 52:56Speaker 3: in a what oh on a non stick pan? Yeah?
- 53:00Speaker 3: Made with pfoa's apparently, yes, and they blast her. How
- 53:03Speaker 3: can you make it forever chemicals? Yes? Never because we
- 53:07Speaker 3: get a lot of drink bottles now and it's a
- 53:08Speaker 3: big stick on saying BPA free yes, And I didn't
- 53:11Speaker 3: know what it was, but I'm like, sure, I guess
- 53:13Speaker 3: that must be a thing. But they blast her because
- 53:15Speaker 3: their kids have been sucking on something that's got a
- 53:16Speaker 3: seven on It must mean something chemical or whatever. And
- 53:19Speaker 3: they run outside and they hail down an ambulance and
- 53:21Speaker 3: throw the patient out the back door and they jump
- 53:23Speaker 3: in was moment?
- 53:25Speaker 4: Was it?
- 53:26Speaker 3: Yep? Marge and tastes. I like that still in season
- 53:30Speaker 3: twenty one, can't catch a break and Marge and taste
- 53:32Speaker 3: that she realizes that the food she cooked was gross.
- 53:35Speaker 3: Butt has got end of his job back, and they
- 53:37Speaker 3: basically he makes a promise to buy here that I
- 53:39Speaker 3: won't I won't let you down this time, buddy. Then
- 53:41Speaker 3: Homer gets home late because he worked overtime for some
- 53:43Speaker 3: extra money to buy some fruit salad, and he catches
- 53:46Speaker 3: Marge eating his stash and you found the precious we
- 53:48Speaker 3: already discussed. But he's kind of turned on by this.
- 53:50Speaker 3: He turned on this band new March. It's a new
- 53:52Speaker 3: side of her he's never seen. And they're in bed
- 53:55Speaker 3: now eating all the treats, and he says, you know,
- 53:57Speaker 3: loud glug contains neither lard nor glug, and that's a
- 53:59Speaker 3: lot of foods are like that. It's like, oh, yes, yes,
- 54:02Speaker 3: And then they decide to only make the kids eat
- 54:04Speaker 3: healthy and that is the end of that story. And
- 54:05Speaker 3: it feels kind of abrupt, but as I was saying,
- 54:07Speaker 3: it's it comes to its natural conclusion. Yeah, but I
- 54:10Speaker 3: can't believe though, that Andy has lasted a whole week
- 54:13Speaker 3: at his job. So we've got in the most adult
- 54:14Speaker 3: thing he could think of as a gift, and it's
- 54:15Speaker 3: a Caesar salad. Never been a fan of caesar salad?
- 54:18Speaker 3: Are you a caesar salad? Are you a salad guy? Well,
- 54:20Speaker 3: what dressing are you? I feel like you would be
- 54:22Speaker 3: a thousand.
- 54:23Speaker 6: Island I don't mind thousand island. If I'm gonna have that,
- 54:27Speaker 6: i' usually have it on a rubed sandwich. The sesar
- 54:29Speaker 6: salad is not bad. I mean, if one's going to
- 54:31Speaker 6: eat a salad while you're out, then it's got chicken and.
- 54:33Speaker 3: It's got the croutons. Yeah, got the croutons are key.
- 54:36Speaker 3: Do you like crispy kroutons or the ones that have
- 54:38Speaker 3: been a bit soggy. No crispy, They've gotta be crispy, right,
- 54:40Speaker 3: I do, Yeah, I do. It's a crunch to the
- 54:42Speaker 3: caesar salad.
- 54:43Speaker 6: But a nice vineagrette you can't go wrong with that
- 54:45Speaker 6: for a nice Dijon vinigrette as a as a salad dressing.
- 54:48Speaker 3: I feel like they're mentioning of vinegar is a good
- 54:50Speaker 3: lead into shits fucked mate? Oh, explain how because Nicola
- 54:55Speaker 3: likes to put vinegar on her fish and chips. Yeah,
- 54:58Speaker 3: and what happened recently? You discovered something? Oh that's true? Yes?
- 55:02Speaker 3: Did we mention it on full finger discounts? I think
- 55:04Speaker 3: I was going down to South Park? Yeah? Well yeah,
- 55:06Speaker 3: but are we gonna are we going to name the establishment? Never?
- 55:10Speaker 3: Road fish and chip shop? Fish up?
- 55:12Speaker 6: They cooked chips from hand, cut its chips by hand. Yeah,
- 55:16Speaker 6: you're not getting the meccaine you've done to gains come
- 55:19Speaker 6: in a big plastic bag. No, No, someone's out in
- 55:21Speaker 6: the back room and chopping those spuds into into chips.
- 55:24Speaker 6: You can taste the difference, and you'll feel the difference,
- 55:27Speaker 6: and you'll feel the difference. I got some maneuver oad
- 55:31Speaker 6: fish and chips on Friday night after a long week
- 55:33Speaker 6: at work. It's like, oh, man, can't we to settle
- 55:35Speaker 6: in and get get some starch, get some carbs.
- 55:38Speaker 3: That's not quite right here, what's wrong with this chip?
- 55:40Speaker 3: The text is off, shape is different. Seen these chips
- 55:45Speaker 3: Beforecains That was a sein Feld bit, an Australian side Feld,
- 55:55Speaker 3: a local fish shop handcuff chips Likecaines. I was gone
- 55:59Speaker 3: for Quinn Jaws, the square chip manufactured chip. But yeah,
- 56:07Speaker 3: it was really really sad actually because not just because like,
- 56:11Speaker 3: oh this has ruined my evening of a chip.
- 56:14Speaker 6: I mean I hate them all, but it's also its
- 56:18Speaker 6: have been handgunting chips since the eighty thirty years man,
- 56:20Speaker 6: thirty plus years something like that.
- 56:21Speaker 3: Yeah, because I'm like dinner, I like to put vinegar
- 56:24Speaker 3: in my chips as well. Yeah, I think always was
- 56:26Speaker 3: very disappointed. Yeah, and Romani has changed hands my pizza play,
- 56:30Speaker 3: pizza plays. The reason I'd be bringing up is because
- 56:32Speaker 3: this week we're losing another establishment in Geelong Ripper Roast,
- 56:34Speaker 3: which have been there forever. Oh my god, well is
- 56:37Speaker 3: good for everybody? This year We've lost Mexican graffiti, we've
- 56:39Speaker 3: lost Texas Hamburgers, We've lost we're now gonna lose ripper
- 56:42Speaker 3: roast never fish chips aren'tutting their chips anymore. What the
- 56:46Speaker 3: hell is going on?
- 56:47Speaker 6: And maybe even Chicken Ranch might be Chicken Ranch is
- 56:49Speaker 6: probably closed and they're going to turn that block into apartments.
- 56:52Speaker 3: The next one's gonna be K Cafe mate be gone,
- 56:54Speaker 3: get any cafe? Oh that'll never go. Did you ever
- 56:57Speaker 3: think Texas Hamburger was going to go? Yeah, that's true.
- 57:01Speaker 3: K Capusine is pretty dug in, so did Texas Hamburg True. Well,
- 57:06Speaker 3: it's scary times, man. The only consonant has changed. There's
- 57:08Speaker 3: no there's no know this is very local, just one
- 57:11Speaker 3: quick moment. There's no long standing businesses in Geloonna. When
- 57:14Speaker 3: it comes to what's what's the term? I'm trying to
- 57:16Speaker 3: find that what I'm trying to look for here where
- 57:17Speaker 3: it's like the the ones that have been here forever,
- 57:20Speaker 3: like a legacy business. It's a legacy the way it's
- 57:22Speaker 3: kind of landmark. But yeah, but where are they? There's
- 57:25Speaker 3: not there's none left like the legacy businesses. There is
- 57:27Speaker 3: Sam's Cafe in town that does the best schwama. That's
- 57:31Speaker 3: not new, that's not old. Sorry, that's old man Sam's cafe.
- 57:34Speaker 3: Have you been into Sam's Cafe. They've got like fucking
- 57:36Speaker 3: old Chico roll posters and things up. It looks like
- 57:38Speaker 3: it hasn't been redecorated its nome and eighty far Where
- 57:40Speaker 3: is that? Not quite the top of marrible but marble
- 57:44Speaker 3: and McKillop Ah, I'm thinking of the I'm thinking of
- 57:47Speaker 3: the Hamburger place used to go to at the Abdy,
- 57:50Speaker 3: which is now gone. Yeah, that's true. That is good.
- 57:52Speaker 3: That's that's actually really sad. The guy was no, No,
- 57:56Speaker 3: the guy who was running it, diet, Yeah he was.
- 57:58Speaker 3: He was a good guy. He wasn't dead. Yeah, risk
- 58:00Speaker 3: in place, tim No, But SAMs has been there forever. Okay, Yeah,
- 58:04Speaker 3: we've got to check out that. Woe. One's kind of
- 58:06Speaker 3: been there forever? Would Pizza Planet Pizza? I always got
- 58:09Speaker 3: Pizza Plant, Pizza Land, Yeah, true, true. Enzo's on Paco
- 58:14Speaker 3: that's a pizza place.
- 58:16Speaker 6: It hasn't been it forever though, well, it used to
- 58:18Speaker 6: be some see this ship my memory is now. It
- 58:21Speaker 6: used to be called something else before it was Enzo's.
- 58:24Speaker 6: And the change isn't that recent, Okay, it's like maybe
- 58:28Speaker 6: five or ten years.
- 58:29Speaker 3: I'm talking places that have been there for like thirty
- 58:31Speaker 3: plus No, no, but it was something like that, and
- 58:33Speaker 3: that was there for ages ages before him. But yeah,
- 58:35Speaker 3: shit's fucked man. Yes, institutions was the word. I'm looking for,
- 58:39Speaker 3: institutions of Geelong. Yes, yeah, getting back, we got there.
- 58:42Speaker 3: But then but here he realizes that there is a
- 58:44Speaker 3: delivery arriving for Andy Studio six, and it's the Worms
- 58:48Speaker 3: crank grade giant track driven by whyse guy Crusty is
- 58:54Speaker 3: now on the air Bart burst in, He asked, louis
- 58:56Speaker 3: the production guy. I'm assuming if Andy's around, He's like,
- 58:58Speaker 3: I haven't seen him. He's going to be on the show.
- 59:00Speaker 3: Who's about twenty seasons two late? That's the reference to
- 59:02Speaker 3: the Simpsons I think they have. Yeah, they're being a
- 59:05Speaker 3: little too sort of inside baseball. We're not that clever
- 59:07Speaker 3: with it. Yeah. But then sees Krusty about to dive
- 59:10Speaker 3: into the pool of worms, which is a reference to
- 59:12Speaker 3: what happened to Skinner, and he grabs him mid air.
- 59:14Speaker 3: I don't know how he did this, but he says,
- 59:16Speaker 3: I won't let you end up like Skinner, twisted and deranged.
- 59:18Speaker 3: Cut to Skinner, who's watching on TV watch the Crossy Show.
- 59:20Speaker 3: They say, you got all your troubles, they tell me.
- 59:23Speaker 3: Then he asks how much do you weigh? Crusting He's like, oh,
- 59:25Speaker 3: well like way one eighty one ninety, but I'm always packing.
- 59:28Speaker 3: I've got my car manuel whatnot. Then he slips out
- 59:31Speaker 3: of his arms, fall into the to the pool of worms.
- 59:34Speaker 3: He says, I want to warm water, not worm water.
- 59:37Speaker 3: And turns out Andy is now the head rider. It
- 59:38Speaker 3: was a bit and he needed a bit, and he
- 59:39Speaker 3: gave him a bit and he's now very successful. The
- 59:43Speaker 3: woman calls over to him, she calls him Andrew. Now
- 59:45Speaker 3: Andy's now Andrew. She wants to meet him in the
- 59:47Speaker 3: makeout room. And then Lisa says that, oh, we're your
- 59:51Speaker 3: TV right now. A loser, cous I'm a loser. And
- 59:53Speaker 3: that's the end of the episode, I guess.
- 59:55Speaker 6: So yeah, look, it's all well and good with the
- 59:57Speaker 6: Simpsons Riders or the people in Simmons a q to
- 59:59Speaker 6: sort of poked fun themselves in this way.
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: I don't know. I kind of like the idea of
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: it being a happy ending, that Andy had been able
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: to take the thing that brought him joy and that
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: he was good at and you transfer it into a
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: for fun and profit maybe you could take this right.
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: You know, you're saying that Lisa is the heel in
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: this episode, Maybe you can say that the writer. I
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: don't think I actually got the writer any credit in
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: some of them. It was written by Jeff Westbrook, directed
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: by Chuck Sheets. Maybe Jeff was trying to say that,
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: you know what, these people they make fun of us
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: have been TV. But we know who's successful TV A
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: you know who's not the ones calling us losers. Yeah,
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: good point, good point. Maybe that's the point he's trying
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: to make. Maybe he knows who knows? We never would.
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: I'm trying to give you all the infat so you
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: can make the correct decision. That's all I'm doing. Oh
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: now he's doing that to me, I am doing it
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: to you. What do we learn Bomb? What did you
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: learn from the episode? Mister Davis that you cannot beat
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: the fly in the ice cube prank? So a gag
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: so nice they repeated it twice, that's correct. I learned
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: that not all TV writers are loser, some are not
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: all we never get. This show is brought to you
