  Speaker 2: want other people to praise you, your father in heaven

  Speaker 2: will not praise you. It's good to do a good

  Speaker 2: deed like nobody's watching, because when you think that there's

  Speaker 2: nobody watching and you're not broadcasting it or you're not

  Speaker 2: you know, recording it, as you're helping the homeless, which

  Speaker 2: a lot of people do, and they get a lot

  Speaker 2: of likes and comments off of that. Right, people are

  Speaker 2: praising them and saying, oh wow, that's such a nice

  Speaker 2: deed that you did helping those people. You know, God

  Speaker 2: will reward you if you do it without broadcasting it

  Speaker 2: more than you could ever understand. And it doesn't just
• 3:54
  Speaker 2: come with oh, it comes back with money. No, it
• 3:58
  Speaker 2: comes back when you're doing it and the Holy Spirit
• 4:03
  Speaker 2: is actually doing it and you get out of the way.

  Speaker 2: That's when you know that you have the Holy Spirit
• 4:09
  Speaker 2: and you you're not doing it just to show off
• 4:12
  Speaker 2: that you can help others.

  Speaker 1: Verse two.

  Speaker 2: When you give something to a poor person, do not
• 4:17
  Speaker 2: tell anyone about it. The hypocrites do this in their
• 4:21
  Speaker 2: meeting places. They also do it in the busy streets

  Speaker 2: of the town. They do this so that other people
• 4:29
  Speaker 2: will praise them. I tell you this, they have already
• 4:33
  Speaker 2: received their gift. God will not give them anything more

  Speaker 2: so being able to help the poor. And this isn't

  Speaker 2: just talking about the poor and somebody that's homeless, excuse me.

  Speaker 2: It is also talking about when we're talking about people

  Speaker 2: that are poor in spirit, poor and self esteem poor

  Speaker 2: in so many different areas. I want to make this

  Speaker 2: clear that it is a necessity to be of encouragement

  Speaker 2: and inspiration to people. Whether they receive it or not,

  Speaker 2: that's up to them. I know that I can say

  Speaker 2: that I have been there for people that are looking

  Speaker 2: down upon themselves, or they're really in their feelings, or

  Speaker 2: they're really in their emotions, and it's an honor.

  Speaker 2: Be there with the listening ear and also be of

  Speaker 2: encouragement and suggestions. So Verse three states, so when you

  Speaker 2: give something to a poor person, keep it a secret

  Speaker 2: from other people. Do not tell anyone. Your left hand

  Speaker 2: will not even know what your right hand does.

  Speaker 2: Nobody else will know about the good thing that you

  Speaker 2: have done. But God sees the things that you do secretly.

  Speaker 2: In return, he will give you good things. Now the

  Speaker 2: help others if we have not helped ourselves by loving ourselves,

  Speaker 2: self caring ourselves, being aware for us ourselves, taking constructive

  Speaker 2: criticism for ourselves, self talk positive right. Jesus teaches about

  Speaker 2: prayer verse five we're getting into. Bear with me, there's

  Speaker 2: going to be a verse that really stands out to you. Also,

  Speaker 2: you must not pray in the way that the hypocrites pray.

  Speaker 2: They like to stand and pray in their meeting places.

  Speaker 2: They like to do it on the corners of the

  Speaker 2: busy streets. Then many people will see them and they

  Speaker 2: will praise them.

  Speaker 1: That's something that you should do secretly. Amen. So verse six.

  Speaker 2: But this is how you should pray. Go to a

  Speaker 2: place in your house where you can be alone. You

  Speaker 2: can shut the door, and you can pray to God,

  Speaker 2: your father. He is in that secret place, he sees

  Speaker 2: what you do there. In return, he will give you

  Speaker 2: good things. And that is verse six, Matthew six.

  Speaker 2: Important to pray in a secret place is because that

  Speaker 2: other people's energies, You're not in a place where there's

  Speaker 2: many people, and you can have that intimate just like

  Speaker 2: when you're having an intimate time with your significant other,

  Speaker 2: that is you and the other person. There should be

  Speaker 2: a whole other podcast. But God wants your time. God

  Speaker 2: When you are praying verse seven. When you pray, do

  Speaker 2: we're not just talking about food. Let me break this down.

  Speaker 2: We're talking about patience, we're talking about endurance. We're talking

  Speaker 2: about love, food for your thought, right, fruits of the spirit.

  Speaker 2: And I'm gonna close out with this. Then Jesus said,

  Speaker 2: and this is chapter six, verse fourteen, Matthew, when other

  Speaker 2: people do wrong things against you, you must forgive them.
