- 12:17Speaker 3: she asked me to come.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Talk to her classroom, and I was like okay. At first,
- 12:21Speaker 2: she said, do you want to read a book or
- 12:22Speaker 2: talk to them? And so I thought, read a book,
- 12:25Speaker 2: no problem, I got this.
- 12:26Speaker 3: But then she goes, you know, I really want you
- 12:29Speaker 3: to inspire them because you have a troubled childhood, Like
- 12:33Speaker 3: my mom was an addict.
- 12:34Speaker 2: You know and my family drama. I was not troubled,

- 12:44Speaker 3: you did it all without going to college.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Also my college drop out, I did get some college.
- 12:48Speaker 2: And she was like, I just want my kid students
- 12:51Speaker 2: to know they have a chance like you.
- 12:54Speaker 3: And I was like, Hannah, I don't think second graders
- 12:58Speaker 3: made that conversation.
- 12:59Speaker 2: That's little will do adult of a conversation.
- 13:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I agree with that that I don't think most
- 13:04Speaker 3: kids can deal with that type of trauma.
- 13:07Speaker 4: Yeah, my mom was using you know, yeah, you know,
- 13:11Speaker 4: I was in and out of all the.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Red housing my grandma got me. Yeah. I don't want
- 13:17Speaker 2: to traumatize the poor kids. Yeah, So now I.
- 13:20Speaker 4: Don't know what to do.
- 13:21Speaker 2: So what what do you have planned so far?
- 13:23Speaker 4: Do you have anything? Well? I did? I do.
- 13:27Speaker 3: Think I'm gonna do like a create a mini morning
- 13:31Speaker 3: show and like give them little scripts.
- 13:35Speaker 2: I was like, can they read?
- 13:36Speaker 3: And so I'm gonna let them like read these short
- 13:39Speaker 3: scripts and We're gonna do like a live improv morning show,
- 13:42Speaker 3: like give me tasks to do the show, playground gossip
- 13:46Speaker 3: and Okay, I think that'd be more interesting for kids.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Then I think that'll be fine. But I don't how
- 13:52Speaker 2: do I don't know what else to do? Like, so
- 13:54Speaker 2: call the show. Here's what I want you to do.
- 13:58Speaker 2: If you're a parent and you have second grade kids,
- 14:02Speaker 2: what well goes on in their head?
- 14:05Speaker 4: What can I what can I say? And what can
- 14:07Speaker 4: I not say?
- 14:09Speaker 2: That's a good question.
- 14:10Speaker 4: I have no.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Idea what can they read? Because I don't want them
- 14:14Speaker 2: to be too bored.
- 14:14Speaker 3: I don't want to like write scripts for five year olds,
- 14:18Speaker 3: but I don't want to make them too grown up either.
- 14:19Speaker 2: So eight three three five over one Bama. That's eight
- 14:23Speaker 2: three three five oh one two two six two.

- 14:45Speaker 2: Yes, please help me. Do you have second grade kids?
- 14:48Speaker 4: I do.

- 14:55Speaker 7: I can totally tell you how to do this.
- 14:57Speaker 2: Okay, what do I do?
- 14:58Speaker 7: If you did want to talk to about your mom
- 15:01Speaker 7: and her addiction, the best way to frame it is
- 15:05Speaker 7: to frame it as my mom had an illness and
- 15:08Speaker 7: it's called addiction, okay, and it's not something that they
- 15:12Speaker 7: can't comprehend and that they probably don't face themselves. Where
- 15:16Speaker 7: does your like, where does your what did you teach.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Just second grade?
- 15:21Speaker 7: Well, like what school? Just you know, like what we're
- 15:23Speaker 7: where area wise?
- 15:25Speaker 2: And Gadsten Okay, I'm.
- 15:27Speaker 7: Sitting in Gadson right now. So yes, let me tell you.
- 15:29Speaker 7: They're going to know what addiction is. So it's fine, Okay,
- 15:32Speaker 7: I'm from Jacksonville. So yeah. The idea of putting them
- 15:35Speaker 7: together is like a little radio production.
- 15:37Speaker 4: They would love that.
- 15:38Speaker 3: Thank you so much for Colin. Thank you, We appreciate you.
