- 0:09Speaker 1: Ye, sure, it's nice.
- 0:12Speaker 2: It's time hell Love Love, Hello, Welcome to the Naughty
- 0:17Speaker 2: but Nishow. I'm your host, Rob Shooter, and it's Thosday,
- 0:20Speaker 2: which means our dear friend Mark Looper joins us. Hey,
- 0:23Speaker 2: lupy Lou, are you there? Brown? You make me giggle?
- 0:28Speaker 2: You make me giggle. I missed the weeks that were
- 0:30Speaker 2: not together. Yesterday we were talking because of the Oscars,
- 0:33Speaker 2: and because all the co hosts work in the entertainment
- 0:36Speaker 2: business at really the top end, a lot of people
- 0:40Speaker 2: could not be on the show. So Monday and Tuesday
- 0:42Speaker 2: I did solo shows. I used to be really nervous
- 0:44Speaker 2: about doing a solo show. Now please, I can talk
- 0:46Speaker 2: for twenty minutes with that breathing. However, I do enjoy
- 0:50Speaker 2: it when you're all back. So I'm so happy you're
- 0:53Speaker 2: here at Mark, we missed you. Let's jump in to
- 0:55Speaker 2: our show. What time is it, my friends? It is
- 0:59Speaker 2: tea time, so big story at the top of the show.
- 1:01Speaker 2: We touched on this yesterday, but we've got to go deeper.
- 1:04Speaker 2: It's such a great story. So Variety has an amazing
- 1:07Speaker 2: expose about Meghan Makele and Netflix. They are the Bible.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Variety the Hollywood Reporter. They when you want inside Hollywood,
- 1:16Speaker 2: they don't mess about. I know the editor in chief
- 1:19Speaker 2: of both of them, and they're really brilliant people. So
- 1:21Speaker 2: this story, my ahs, like I've read every word. The
- 1:26Speaker 2: takeaway though, is that the Netflix boss, his name's Ted
- 1:30Speaker 2: so Randos. That's his name, Ted sarrandas you might recognize him.
- 1:33Speaker 2: He's been on TV a little bit. He sat front
- 1:35Speaker 2: row at the Oscars. They made fun of him a
- 1:36Speaker 2: little bit at the Oscars too, but he's very, very powerful.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Netflix is the company, and so he apparently would not
- 1:44Speaker 2: get on a telephone with Megan Markele unless there was
- 1:47Speaker 2: a Netflix lawyer present. That's a not a good sign.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Now they are pushing back. Team Sussex is saying no,
- 1:54Speaker 2: that's not true. She would text him and they would
- 1:56Speaker 2: chat regularly, and they even socialized. She went to his house,
- 1:59Speaker 2: and his team are put back to But Variety is
- 2:01Speaker 2: not making this stuff up. So they said it got
- 2:04Speaker 2: really really awkward with Meghan, and now I can report
- 2:07Speaker 2: exclusively I have a story today on my sub stack
- 2:10Speaker 2: that Harry and Meghan are considering legal options, legal resenses
- 2:18Speaker 2: to Netflix. Now, remember he did sue the British newspapers
- 2:22Speaker 2: like Harry's been in court. It feels like every week
- 2:25Speaker 2: for the past four years over the Daily Mail and
- 2:27Speaker 2: the British papers, they do like a lawsuit of what
- 2:31Speaker 2: I hear going on here is that Harry and Meghan
- 2:34Speaker 2: think the team of Netflix have been leaking stories about them.
- 2:37Speaker 2: If you remember, they threw this same accusation at Victoria
- 2:42Speaker 2: and David Beckham. That's why they fell out with the Beckhams.
- 2:44Speaker 2: They thought the Beckhams were leaking stories on the Sisinxes.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Now they think Netflix is doing it. I think they're
- 2:51Speaker 2: just angry here. They're angry it didn't work out. They're
- 2:54Speaker 2: angry that this expos is really detailed. They might have
- 2:57Speaker 2: a point about leaking stories because somebody's still get the rioting,
- 3:01Speaker 2: and it's somebody within the house, Like these stories are
- 3:03Speaker 2: so specific. Somebody's gott a bit of back then. But
- 3:07Speaker 2: I'm not sure that it's a lawsuit. I think Harry
- 3:10Speaker 2: and meg and are gonna say it's a breach of contract.
- 3:12Speaker 2: But if I was Netflix, I would be really happy
- 3:16Speaker 2: that every time the boss Ted gone on the phone
- 3:18Speaker 2: with the Sussex's there was a lawyer present. Because this
- 3:22Speaker 2: is about to get really ugly. What do you think
- 3:25Speaker 2: so ugly?
- 3:26Speaker 1: The story was incredible. I was reading it last night
- 3:29Speaker 1: and I think this is the end. And truly, if
- 3:31Speaker 1: you're going to assume Netflix and you're in involved tempserrendous
- 3:34Speaker 1: in this drama, no one else is going to hire you.
- 3:37Speaker 1: No other studio, no other streaming service wants to deal
- 3:40Speaker 1: with kind of mess. Multiple measure outlets have called them
- 3:43Speaker 1: grifters at this point. It's just it feels over their
- 3:46Speaker 1: Hollywood studies.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Market's over, like all the people you're could have picked
- 3:51Speaker 2: the biggest, most powerful company in the entertainment business. Arguably,
- 3:56Speaker 2: YouTube and Netflix are bigger n than studios. There big
- 4:00Speaker 2: their networks, and so you got to deal with them.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Potentially one hundred million dollars that was never confirmed. I'm
- 4:06Speaker 2: told it was not quite that much. In fact, not
- 4:08Speaker 2: anywhere near that much, because the money was only if
- 4:11Speaker 2: they got results, and they didn't get any results, so
- 4:13Speaker 2: they got paid very little upfront and then they didn't
- 4:15Speaker 2: make anything on the back end. They still have a
- 4:17Speaker 2: project with Netflix too. They optioned this book that they're
- 4:21Speaker 2: trying to turn into to a movie, but that has
- 4:23Speaker 2: been sort of put on the back burner. They haven't
- 4:25Speaker 2: been able to hire a director or a cast, or
- 4:28Speaker 2: writers or anybody, and so they do have a project
- 4:30Speaker 2: in the works, and that might not be the moment
- 4:33Speaker 2: to sue the people you're trying to work with. But
- 4:36Speaker 2: this is behavior I've entitled people who don't get their
- 4:41Speaker 2: own way. When I was working with celebrities, the ones
- 4:44Speaker 2: that always screamed lawsuit were the ones that just didn't
- 4:48Speaker 2: get the answer they wanted. There was you can see anybody.
- 4:50Speaker 2: It's America. You can sue whoever you like. It's very expensive,
- 4:54Speaker 2: but you can't win unless you have facts and you
- 4:57Speaker 2: have evidence and you can prove your point. What are
- 4:59Speaker 2: they going to prove here that our shows didn't do
- 5:02Speaker 2: very well? Yeah they did it, but you can't see
- 5:04Speaker 2: over that. They're gonna claim that there wasn't enough promotion
- 5:10Speaker 2: put into these shows. Now, what Netflix will claim is
- 5:13Speaker 2: we did not know you were writing that book, and
- 5:14Speaker 2: we did not know you were sitting down with Oprah.
- 5:16Speaker 2: All the stuff that was really juicy they gave away
- 5:19Speaker 2: for free. So by the time the Netflix deal came out,
- 5:22Speaker 2: all the juicy stuff Mark we had got without paying
- 5:25Speaker 2: a dollar for. And so I think this will be
- 5:28Speaker 2: a major lawsuit. Netflix went back down. They're not gonna
- 5:31Speaker 2: pay them off. Here. I hear within Netflix they really
- 5:35Speaker 2: dislike these two, not just marginally. We've all had people
- 5:38Speaker 2: leave companies and you're like, ah, they were a pain
- 5:41Speaker 2: in the bottom, or oh, that one's so annoying. I've
- 5:43Speaker 2: got tons of people that I've worked with that really
- 5:45Speaker 2: bugged me. But I don't really hate anybody. I don't.
- 5:49Speaker 2: I don't like people annoy me. They do. They get
- 5:52Speaker 2: on my nerves, but I'm not I'm trying to wrack
- 5:55Speaker 2: my mind. Mark. Is there somebody that I really wish
- 5:58Speaker 2: ill on? No, I don't think there is. Well, Netflix
- 6:01Speaker 2: wishes ill on Harry and Meccan. They don't like them
- 6:04Speaker 2: at all.
- 6:05Speaker 1: And you could tell the sources in this article clearly
- 6:09Speaker 1: are coming from Netflix. It's like, without a doubt, they're
- 6:11Speaker 1: giving very specific details about like the behavior of Megan
- 6:15Speaker 1: when she gets irritated she disappears from meetings, or how
- 6:18Speaker 1: she cuts Harry off and reframes what he's saying, which
- 6:21Speaker 1: is so embarrassing. So I think that anything, they should
- 6:24Speaker 1: stop this because they're going to just continue to damage
- 6:27Speaker 1: their brand. If anything, her her Megan's Harry's a Megan
- 6:31Speaker 1: Harry's line of you know, breads and jams and Jamsilis
- 6:35Speaker 1: has a surplus of all this crap and they're just
- 6:38Speaker 1: leading out in the office for people to take home.
- 6:40Speaker 2: It's it's just a disaster, no pun sticky disaster. It
- 6:46Speaker 2: is a disaster, which brings us to my pole question
- 6:48Speaker 2: of the day. Netflix lawyers were on speed dial whatever
- 6:52Speaker 2: Megan called them. They wouldn't get on a phone call
- 6:54Speaker 2: with Megan mockled. Now, my reporting is that the sisseics
- 6:57Speaker 2: is a thinking are considering taking legal action against Netflix?
- 7:02Speaker 2: Is this going to get ugly? It sort of answers itself,
- 7:05Speaker 2: but it's sort of a pole question that I want
- 7:07Speaker 2: to see. Let's see if we can get one hundred percent.
- 7:09Speaker 2: I'm not gonna tell you which way, but I think
- 7:10Speaker 2: you might be the highest noted that had. Is it
- 7:13Speaker 2: going to get ugly? I think it already has. Okay,
- 7:16Speaker 2: don't forget to vote on today's poll. Go to our
- 7:19Speaker 2: Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob Our facebook page is
- 7:21Speaker 2: Naughty Gossip and be sure to check back to Matt
- 7:24Speaker 2: Raoul to hear your results. Hey Loopy Lou, what are
- 7:27Speaker 2: you working on that.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Speaking of disastrous rob Our Spice scrap reunion dream is
- 7:31Speaker 1: officially over.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Let me explain it.
- 7:34Speaker 1: So, the Spice Girls have scrapped their thirtieth anniversary comeback
- 7:38Speaker 1: after failing to get everyone on the same page on
- 7:41Speaker 1: the same stage. Melcy confirmed the bad news, shutting down
- 7:45Speaker 1: hopes of the want to be Readingion moment this summer. Still,
- 7:49Speaker 1: she teased, the door isn't fully closed. What this really means,
- 7:52Speaker 1: I think Rob is that their friendships are going to endure,
- 7:55Speaker 1: but the business is tricky, and without Victoria committing, there's
- 7:59Speaker 1: just no show.
- 8:00Speaker 2: There's no show. It's the Victoria show. At this point,
- 8:02Speaker 2: they've done the reunion without Victoria and it was very,
- 8:04Speaker 2: very successful. They could potentially do a thirtieth anniversary again
- 8:07Speaker 2: without Victoria. But but to make this really special, to make
- 8:11Speaker 2: them really rich, to sell tickets at Taylor Swift type level, maybe,
- 8:15Speaker 2: I think so, maybe they could. They need Victoria now.
- 8:18Speaker 2: I was told because of all the drama with her son,
- 8:22Speaker 2: Victoria might want to change the agenda and nothing would
- 8:25Speaker 2: change that subject like going on the road with the
- 8:27Speaker 2: Spice Girls. I don't think Victoria is going to do
- 8:29Speaker 2: a ten city tour but she could do two shows.
- 8:31Speaker 2: They could do one massive show at Wembley Arena, and
- 8:35Speaker 2: they could do one massive show maybe in a stadium
- 8:37Speaker 2: here in New York. I think Taylor Swift did the
- 8:39Speaker 2: met Life Stadium. It's like eighty that they could do
- 8:42Speaker 2: one enormous show and make a ton of money. Everybody
- 8:45Speaker 2: would be talking about them. Victoria doesn't want to do it,
- 8:49Speaker 2: and it must be so frustrating for the other ladies
- 8:53Speaker 2: because they do want to do it, but it's not
- 8:55Speaker 2: the same. Oh, it would drive me mad in thirty
- 8:58Speaker 2: years when we have a nice podcast reunion and we're
- 9:02Speaker 2: going to do it at the met lights of stadium.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Buyer ticket. Now, if I decide not to do it,
- 9:07Speaker 2: you five would be so angree. I just I totally
- 9:11Speaker 2: get it.
- 9:12Speaker 1: I do too, And I think, you know, they're in
- 9:14Speaker 1: different situations than than Victoria is, because Victoria is rich
- 9:19Speaker 1: beyond comprehension. These ladies are still working ladies, respectfully, and
- 9:24Speaker 1: it's a bomber I think, if anything, But the reality
- 9:27Speaker 1: is we do need them all together. And I love
- 9:30Speaker 1: your idea. I think having one or two shows, one
- 9:33Speaker 1: big press around it, massive moment, and then make it,
- 9:37Speaker 1: you know, Oh.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Yes, I'll be fighting to get tickets. You and me
- 9:40Speaker 2: will be fighting to get it. I would just do
- 9:43Speaker 2: one Victoria if you're listening and I'm told she might
- 9:45Speaker 2: be a lower lower love. We have a huge audience
- 9:47Speaker 2: in Britain. I don't know quite what happen. Well, it's
- 9:49Speaker 2: on British, I guess. But yeah, I was shocked. I
- 9:52Speaker 2: don't look at our numbers that often because I'd become
- 9:54Speaker 2: obsessed with it. But on the numbers on podcasts you
- 9:56Speaker 2: can see where people are listening. America is by far
- 9:59Speaker 2: our large as but the UK we are building a
- 10:02Speaker 2: little naughty but nice following over there. Okay, moving along.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Nigel Barker. I used to have a crush on him.
- 10:10Speaker 2: He was on America's Next Top Model. The photographer shaved Head.
- 10:13Speaker 2: I think he's British too, kind of sarcastic. He reminds
- 10:16Speaker 2: me of Scar from the Lion King, like that British Scar,
- 10:20Speaker 2: sort of mean of it. Camping well. He has said
- 10:23Speaker 2: that he has not spoken to Tyra since that shocking documentary.
- 10:28Speaker 2: He's doing interviews, He's back in the spotlight. Good for you, Nigel.
- 10:31Speaker 2: I think he is promoting something. Who knows, But he
- 10:33Speaker 2: was out in a band and he was asked, have
- 10:35Speaker 2: you spoke to Tyra? And he said no, we've had
- 10:37Speaker 2: absolutely no contact. I hit the FIRS. I spoke to
- 10:41Speaker 2: my Tyra sources, who were excellent. I used to work
- 10:43Speaker 2: for Tyra Banks. Tyra Banks as my first big star.
- 10:45Speaker 2: So when I was a young publicist, like twenty four,
- 10:48Speaker 2: I had people like in Beauty and the Beast on Broadway,
- 10:50Speaker 2: no disrespect. I had people you'd never heard of, and
- 10:53Speaker 2: then I got one model who became a star. It
- 10:57Speaker 2: was Tyra Banks. So Tyra was my first sort of taste,
- 11:00Speaker 2: a real celebrity of People Magazine, of the of the
- 11:02Speaker 2: big TV shows calling and so I have such a
- 11:06Speaker 2: respect for Tyrone, even though I think she's told deaf
- 11:09Speaker 2: in many many ways. Tyra don't want to talk to you, Nigel.
- 11:12Speaker 2: She don't want to like you. You might think you
- 11:15Speaker 2: haven't spoken to her, but I would not call her
- 11:17Speaker 2: if I was you, because I don't think she wants
- 11:20Speaker 2: any part of this. She moves on. She has this.
- 11:23Speaker 2: I'm not sure if it's a good or bad quality.
- 11:25Speaker 2: I think it's bad where she can just put the
- 11:27Speaker 2: pass behind her, a barrel ahead. Have you got friends
- 11:30Speaker 2: like that who just like there is absolute debree all
- 11:34Speaker 2: around them, there is carcass, it's all around them, and
- 11:37Speaker 2: they just march forward.
- 11:39Speaker 1: If it's funny, Rob I work retired to was the
- 11:41Speaker 1: first talk show, right, and you know, I had a
- 11:45Speaker 1: really good time. I admire attire a lot of times.
- 11:47Speaker 1: I do what was funny? I saw her years later
- 11:50Speaker 1: after the show had ended, and I'm like, do you
- 11:52Speaker 1: miss the show that you missed this building? And she
- 11:54Speaker 1: goes not at all.
- 11:58Speaker 2: She doesn't look. I'm surprised. She's like watch it like
- 12:02Speaker 2: she just moves out to Nigel. Good look with that. Okay,
- 12:06Speaker 2: this is I think an odd story. Val Kilmer is
- 12:09Speaker 2: returning from the dead. What is going on? What it is?
- 12:14Speaker 1: Yeah, this is kind of weird. So Val Kimer is
- 12:16Speaker 1: being brought back from the big screen using or brought
- 12:18Speaker 1: back to the big screen using a and you know,
- 12:21Speaker 1: a year after his death for an indie film called
- 12:24Speaker 1: As Deep as the Grieves. Okay, so the director insists
- 12:28Speaker 1: this is an exploitation, it's a fulfillment and with Kilmer's
- 12:32Speaker 1: family on board and has past the enthusiasm for tech
- 12:36Speaker 1: and well documented interest, the team says this is exactly
- 12:40Speaker 1: what he would have wanted.
- 12:42Speaker 2: What do you think, right, Yeah, it's a tricky one here,
- 12:46Speaker 2: because if he was going to be put in a iron,
- 12:48Speaker 2: come back in a major movie and make millions of
- 12:51Speaker 2: dollars for the family, I get it. He's a business
- 12:53Speaker 2: like I do, sort of get the family wanting to
- 12:56Speaker 2: earn money. The people that inherited the estate, they would argue,
- 12:59Speaker 2: it's not about the money, it's keeping him alive. Don't
- 13:02Speaker 2: worry about that. He's in top gun. He will always
- 13:04Speaker 2: live on. Film lives on forever, and they don't need
- 13:06Speaker 2: to do anymore. I have a mixed feeling about AI.
- 13:10Speaker 2: I sort of would it be lovely to see some
- 13:13Speaker 2: of the stars Whitney Houston again as a hologram. It
- 13:16Speaker 2: sounds nice. But they did it in London. I think
- 13:18Speaker 2: it was a huge disaster, and so I don't quite
- 13:22Speaker 2: know about it yet. But if the family says yes,
- 13:25Speaker 2: who am I to say no? I think the way
- 13:27Speaker 2: that we say no is we just don't buy a ticket,
- 13:29Speaker 2: Like I probably wouldn't buy a ticket to this. But
- 13:31Speaker 2: at the same time, if the family wants to do it,
- 13:34Speaker 2: it's his family. He left them the decisions, and so
- 13:39Speaker 2: I think this is important for celebrities. Think are you
- 13:41Speaker 2: going to leave your estate too? You don't have to
- 13:44Speaker 2: be a celebrity either. My mum is now in her
- 13:46Speaker 2: nineties and she was talking about a power of attorney
- 13:49Speaker 2: who's going to be in charge of her estate? And
- 13:51Speaker 2: I said, don't give it to me. I'm not reliable.
- 13:53Speaker 2: That I don't and my sister Christine's really reliable. So
- 13:56Speaker 2: think about, like, who's going to want to fulfill your wish?
- 14:00Speaker 2: Maybe he wants this, and I hope he does because
- 14:03Speaker 2: it's happening. I just wish it was on a more
- 14:05Speaker 2: major project. I think what upsets me here is not
- 14:09Speaker 2: the AI, it's the independent film. I thought he would
- 14:12Speaker 2: be the big old blogbuster and so I don't know,
- 14:16Speaker 2: but it is up to the family. Be careful who
- 14:18Speaker 2: you leave your rights to. Okay, quickly before we get
- 14:20Speaker 2: a break. Taylor Frankie Paul, who I had not heard
- 14:23Speaker 2: of until twenty four hours ago. She's the new Bachelorette.
- 14:26Speaker 2: She's on the Mormon Wives and now she is the
- 14:29Speaker 2: new Kim Kardashian. People are going in nuts about her.
- 14:32Speaker 2: She's got the Bachelorette, which starts on Sunday. She had
- 14:36Speaker 2: to do interviews right after some very very awful information
- 14:40Speaker 2: about domestic violence alleged to domestic violence came out. She
- 14:44Speaker 2: sat down on GMA and she talked about how heavy
- 14:46Speaker 2: it was, and she did this interview. I think they're
- 14:50Speaker 2: moving ahead with it. I know they're moving ahead with it,
- 14:52Speaker 2: but talk about bad timing. I gotta give a shout
- 14:55Speaker 2: out to it. Lara Spencer, I used to be Lara's publicist.
- 14:59Speaker 2: She asked the good question. Because it's all the same company.
- 15:02Speaker 2: You have to be careful here. But Laura was great.
- 15:04Speaker 2: ABC was great. I think they handled this just beautifully
- 15:08Speaker 2: considering how messy the whole thing is. Okay, we're going
- 15:11Speaker 2: to take a quick break and we will be right back.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Welcome back to the Naughty but nic shall I'm robs
- 15:18Speaker 2: you to it. I did from mok Gluepoe, Hey, Lupie,
- 15:20Speaker 2: let's get to the polls. Last show, we talked about
- 15:23Speaker 2: Timothy Shallon. I skipped the Dune three launch after the Oscars.
- 15:27Speaker 2: That question was was Timmy not invited? Was he disinvited?
- 15:31Speaker 2: Did they not wanted there? I reported, is you know
- 15:35Speaker 2: everybody else was there? Where were you? Timmy? He was
- 15:37Speaker 2: in La he wasn't working like he could have turned
- 15:39Speaker 2: the book this he did. Do you think he was disinvited?
- 15:42Speaker 2: Eighty percent said yes, I think so too, Robert Patterson did,
- 15:46Speaker 2: because all we'd be talking about is he losing the Oscar.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Every single question would not be about the movie. Every
- 15:51Speaker 2: reported there would want to talk to Timmy about losing
- 15:53Speaker 2: this Oscar. I think he was disinvited to a don't
- 15:56Speaker 2: forget to vote on today his poul will go to
- 15:59Speaker 2: at Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob Facebook page is
- 16:02Speaker 2: Naughty Gossip and be sure to check back to morrow
- 16:06Speaker 2: to hear your results. And now it's time for the
- 16:11Speaker 2: Nicest of the Day.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Kim Kardashians are nicest at the day. Love So she
- 16:19Speaker 1: took a dramatic tumble while strutting in the Vanity Fair
- 16:23Speaker 1: Oscars party and eight inchills that looked more like a
- 16:27Speaker 1: stump at a shoe and caught in midst double and midlamb.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Kim laughed it off as her team swooped in to
- 16:34Speaker 1: save her in the moment and address and the crisis
- 16:37Speaker 1: was averted.
- 16:38Speaker 2: I love it. I love that this happened on camera. Kim,
- 16:41Speaker 2: did you really true? I mean, this is the shoes
- 16:43Speaker 2: very ridiculous. But Kim, we've seen you in the heels before.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Kim Kardashi, you just make me giggle. They have a
- 16:49Speaker 2: way of turning everything into themselves. And so this was
- 16:53Speaker 2: the news of the Vanity Fair. Ask your party. She
- 16:56Speaker 2: looks fabulous and Kim a trip caught on camera. It's
- 16:59Speaker 2: like if a tree fell in the wood, did it
- 17:02Speaker 2: really fall if nobody noticed it. If a Kardashian falls
- 17:04Speaker 2: Mark and there's not a camera on it, did they
- 17:07Speaker 2: really fall out? And Nic says maybe I naughty is
- 17:09Speaker 2: two of the day, and now I know he's the
- 17:11Speaker 2: naughty naughty Cruz Beckham, who is Brooklyn Beckham's brother. It's
- 17:16Speaker 2: raising eyebrows as the family feud has exploded. So Cruz
- 17:21Speaker 2: raising eyebrows and volumes with a lyric that he put
- 17:24Speaker 2: out on his social media. He's singing his crooning lonely
- 17:28Speaker 2: boy who's breaking mama's heart. So it's a little close
- 17:32Speaker 2: to home, doesn't it. He knows what he's doing. They're
- 17:34Speaker 2: all just looking for attention. Meanwhile, I'm told Victoria he's
- 17:39Speaker 2: devastated about this is her son. It is her son.
- 17:42Speaker 2: They all like attention. Yes, she looks after the beckham Brand,
- 17:45Speaker 2: but it is her son too, so naughtyous of the day.
- 17:48Speaker 2: I think that this family, if they keep taking jobs
- 17:50Speaker 2: of one another on social media, there's no chance they'll
- 17:54Speaker 2: they'll lover my friends like I think they've become out
- 17:57Speaker 2: to a point of no return. Hopefully I'm wrong. Let's
- 18:00Speaker 2: and with a moment of rob you get a rub,
- 18:01Speaker 2: you're gon rub, you gotta rub, rub, do the work.
- 18:05Speaker 2: The gap between where you are and where you want
- 18:07Speaker 2: to be isn't talent, it's action. Start before you feel ready,
- 18:12Speaker 2: Start when it's messy, and start when you're tired. Stop
- 18:16Speaker 2: negotiating with your excuses. They're convincing you not to move forward,
- 18:20Speaker 2: and that is a mistake. You got to do the work.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Nobody is coming to push you. That's your job. You've
- 18:28Speaker 2: got to push yourself and that's where you find confidence.
- 18:31Speaker 2: You build confidence by keeping the promises you made to yourself.
- 18:37Speaker 2: Do the work. I had lunch yesterday with a friend
- 18:40Speaker 2: of mine, a big, big editor of a magazine who
- 18:43Speaker 2: has left the big corporations and has started a substack,
- 18:47Speaker 2: has gone solo, has become independent media. He wanted to
- 18:50Speaker 2: take me for lunch. I paid, but he didn't want
- 18:53Speaker 2: me to take He wanted to take me for lunch
- 18:56Speaker 2: to pick my brain, and I'm happy to help it,
- 18:58Speaker 2: but I quite enjoy helping people pull and I didn't
- 19:01Speaker 2: really have the answers he was looking for. He wanted
- 19:04Speaker 2: me to tell him, you do this, this, this, and
- 19:06Speaker 2: you have all these followers and you make all this money.
- 19:08Speaker 2: That's not true, I said. The only advice I have
- 19:11Speaker 2: is do the work. Do the work every single day,
- 19:14Speaker 2: even when nobody is watching, even when you feel like
- 19:16Speaker 2: a failure, even when you are tired. Do the work.
- 19:21Speaker 2: A lot of people gave up on this podcast very quickly,
- 19:24Speaker 2: and we didn't stop, and we made it into a success.
- 19:28Speaker 2: And the way we did it was by doing the work.
- 19:31Speaker 2: I don't have more talent than you. I don't. I
- 19:34Speaker 2: might work harder than you, but I do not have
- 19:36Speaker 2: any more talent than anybody else out there. I do
- 19:40Speaker 2: the work. That is the secret to success. If my
- 19:43Speaker 2: friend from yesterday is listening, hopefully this advice works for you.
- 19:47Speaker 2: To Hey, that is it for what today? Thank you
- 19:49Speaker 2: so much for listening. They're not a bit nice with
