- 0:17Speaker 1: It is time to believe your worries outside and laugh
- 0:21Speaker 1: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley, along with
- 0:24Speaker 1: Trey Trenholme and Rai Sharma. Today is Tuesday, June twenty fourth,
- 0:31Speaker 1: two thousand and twenty five. We didn't get a chance
- 0:34Speaker 1: to touch on some of the world's goings ons yesterday,
- 0:44Speaker 1: and I want to make it very clear. I'm not
- 0:48Speaker 1: interested in talking about the economic implications of bombing nuclear
- 0:53Speaker 1: sites in Iran. I don't want to talk about whether
- 0:58Speaker 1: or not this destabilizes the region, and I don't even
- 1:02Speaker 1: want to think about whether or not it may start
- 1:05Speaker 1: World War three. Instead, I want to talk about the snacks.
- 1:11Speaker 1: I want to talk about the snacks apparently on board
- 1:14Speaker 1: the bombers. God Bless America. We can bond the ever
- 1:19Speaker 1: loving out of you and enjoy some tasty snacks and
- 1:23Speaker 1: beverages on the way. God Bless America.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Interesting, Okay, when you're in the air for thirty six hours,
- 1:31Speaker 2: you gotta eat.
- 1:32Speaker 1: It's true. I mean, these are the things they don't
- 1:34Speaker 1: show you in Top Gun. They didn't show you. They
- 1:38Speaker 1: kind of gave you a little bit of a hint
- 1:40Speaker 1: in Iron Eagle when they said you know, we got
- 1:42Speaker 1: a long way to go, so they had to play
- 1:44Speaker 1: music to pass the time. But they never talk about
- 1:46Speaker 1: the fact that the pilots are walking with a colostomy bags.
- 1:49Speaker 1: They never think about the fact about, well, what are
- 1:51Speaker 1: they gonna eat or drink? You know, because it's long
- 1:53Speaker 1: Flightly I think.
- 1:55Speaker 3: They have a toilet, have a toilet.
- 1:57Speaker 1: On there, And that's part of what we're gonna talk
- 1:59Speaker 1: about American ingenuity. Not only will we blow you to
- 2:04Speaker 1: Kingdom come with our bombs, but we're gonna poop at
- 2:07Speaker 1: the same time in comfort. Because the B two bomber
- 2:11Speaker 1: pilots had a toilet, a microwave, and a cooler for
- 2:17Speaker 1: snacks on their thirty seven hour bombing raid. Hell yeah,
- 2:22Speaker 1: I mean just imagine stopping in that the PX on
- 2:27Speaker 1: the way that your bombing raid, Like, what kind of
- 2:29Speaker 1: snacks do I want tonight?
- 2:32Speaker 4: And that's when somebody goes no popcorn, Steve, no popcorn.
- 2:37Speaker 1: And no more microwaving, fish Todd, We're not doing that again.
- 2:44Speaker 1: We don't want to repeat of Czechoslovakia. Now, this is
- 2:48Speaker 1: the kind of stuff that really gets my interest peaked.
- 2:52Speaker 1: The B two stealth bombers used to attack the four
- 2:54Speaker 1: Dow nuclear enrichment plant are equipped with toilets, microwaves, and
- 2:59Speaker 1: usually a cooler for snacks to make life more comfortable
- 3:02Speaker 1: for the pilots who are stuck in the cockpit for
- 3:05Speaker 1: the thirty seven hour trip from Missouri to Iran and back.
- 3:10Speaker 1: The little things. You have to think about the little things,
- 3:13Speaker 1: and we do. So what what is the snack of choice?
- 3:18Speaker 1: Trey Raj. Let's pretend you're b two bomber pilots. What
- 3:23Speaker 1: snack or snacks are you going to make sure to
- 3:26Speaker 1: bring on your thirty seven hour flight?
- 3:31Speaker 4: I would go for me, I would go some peanut
- 3:34Speaker 4: M and ms. Ooh it's good. It's a little good protein,
- 3:38Speaker 4: keeps it a little full. Maybe some incrustables or a lunchible.
- 3:42Speaker 4: I eat like a child. So some bananas for potassium
- 3:47Speaker 4: because you're in a seated position for thirty six hours.
- 3:49Speaker 3: You don't want to cramp up, you know.
- 3:51Speaker 1: But careful not to eat too many bananas because that
- 3:54Speaker 1: can have a well that's what the toilet's were, Dad tray.
- 4:01Speaker 1: What about you? What's going to be your go to
- 4:03Speaker 1: snack for a bombing raide?
- 4:05Speaker 3: You know?
- 4:06Speaker 5: I think.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Some granola bars something, you know, hardy enough to keep
- 4:15Speaker 2: you going. But then I think as you approach the target, yeah,
- 4:19Speaker 2: half the little fun maybe some trolleys, maybe some gummy bears,
- 4:22Speaker 2: you know.
- 4:24Speaker 3: A little nerve rope.
- 4:25Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, some Twizzlers.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Maybe I was thinking for some reason, I was thinking twizzlers,
- 4:31Speaker 1: red vines, that would just be funny as you're dropping
- 4:33Speaker 1: bombs with one hand in your on the other.
- 4:35Speaker 5: Just yeah, red liquorice.
- 4:37Speaker 4: I think it's great if you can poop and drop bombs,
- 4:39Speaker 4: because it's like I'm dropping bombs and dropping bombs.
- 4:42Speaker 3: I'm making both things happen at the same time.
- 4:45Speaker 1: And bonus points if there's a hatch underneath to drop
- 4:49Speaker 1: out oh yeah, your own personal bombs. Therefore double bombing, yeah,
- 4:56Speaker 1: I mean that really would be insult to injury. It's
- 4:59Speaker 1: just like, eh, this bomb for you, yay.
- 5:02Speaker 4: Maybe a little uh protein shake, something to keep your
- 5:08Speaker 4: full but not too bloated.
- 5:10Speaker 2: I mean a great marketing opportunity was long. I mean
- 5:15Speaker 2: because if Mentos had sponsored it, that would have been great.
- 5:17Speaker 5: As their pressing the bomb.
- 5:23Speaker 1: That actually would be really really good. It's like, okay,
- 5:25Speaker 1: right before you drop the bunker buster, you drop your
- 5:30Speaker 1: number two and then you drop the mentos and the
- 5:34Speaker 1: diet coke. Yeah, and then and then big berth it
- 5:40Speaker 1: comes knocking.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:41Speaker 4: I just like the idea of the like to beat,
- 5:43Speaker 4: Like Trey had the thumbs up on the B fifty
- 5:45Speaker 4: two pilot and just to hear the fresh make there,
- 5:49Speaker 4: I would live.
- 5:49Speaker 1: That's written on the cone World War two style, I
- 5:54Speaker 1: think for me, I don't know. I don't know exactly
- 5:56Speaker 1: which snack I would go for, but I will because
- 6:00Speaker 1: the B two bomber is stealth, right, I would be
- 6:03Speaker 1: really tempted. And I know nothing of stealth technology. Clearly
- 6:05Speaker 1: I'm radio guy, but I would want whatever snack is
- 6:10Speaker 1: the absolute loudest crunch, whether that's a bugle, cool ranch dorito,
- 6:16Speaker 1: maybe a funion just because you know the name fun
- 6:19Speaker 1: is in it. But it would be hysterical to me
- 6:23Speaker 1: if there's some radar guys somewhere listening in so closely
- 6:29Speaker 1: that he hears a really loud crunch from like two
- 6:31Speaker 1: miles above sea level, but they see nothing. The just
- 6:36Speaker 1: hear crunching across the airspace and then eventually we should
- 6:42Speaker 1: have seen it coming.
- 6:44Speaker 4: Would that be the most inappropriate time to eat in
- 6:46Speaker 4: atomic fireball?
- 6:50Speaker 1: Actually, it might be the most appropriate time. I think
- 6:54Speaker 1: that's what you eat when you drop a nuclear thing. Okay, gotcha,
- 6:58Speaker 1: gotcha atomic.
- 6:59Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm glad they got that was a very insensitive candy.
- 7:07Speaker 4: I did enjoy them as a child, and then I
- 7:09Speaker 4: got to history and I'm like, oh, that's not nice.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Yeah, from the Oppenheimer candy factory.
- 7:16Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what they were originally. They're like, we're not
- 7:20Speaker 4: selling a lot. We got to do a new marketing campaign.
- 7:24Speaker 4: Get on board with these nuclear weapons. But you're not
- 7:26Speaker 4: worried about your cool wrench dorito funion breath inside a
- 7:32Speaker 4: locked cabin for thirty six hours.
- 7:35Speaker 1: I'm not worried about that. I just think there needs
- 7:37Speaker 1: to be a hard no on Cheetos because I don't
- 7:39Speaker 1: think you want Cheeto dust all over the cockpit of
- 7:41Speaker 1: the B two bomber.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Oh, I think that would be hilarious.
- 7:45Speaker 1: I mean, it's thirty seven hour flight, so my breath
- 7:48Speaker 1: is not going to be as much of a concern
- 7:50Speaker 1: because somewhere in there we're going to be tooting. And
- 7:53Speaker 1: on top of that, it doesn't matter if I eat
- 7:55Speaker 1: four bags of funions and have onion breath, because I'm
- 7:58Speaker 1: going to be taking along some of trades mentos.
- 8:01Speaker 2: You also, you have a mask on, so you have
- 8:03Speaker 2: to think about that.
- 8:04Speaker 3: But yeah, that's what I was about to say.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Oh yeah, now I'm breathing my own stink.
- 8:07Speaker 4: Yeah, that's kind of that's a that's a game changer
- 8:10Speaker 4: when you're recycling fun and breath.
- 8:13Speaker 2: What's your musical choice as you're dropping the Are you
- 8:16Speaker 2: playing some.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Gap band, give me some Love and Spencer Davis group.
- 8:22Speaker 5: It's good call mm hmm.
- 8:24Speaker 3: I like it.
- 8:28Speaker 4: Maybe, uh, maybe for the sophisticated palette. A little classical music,
- 8:33Speaker 4: you know.
- 8:35Speaker 1: That was when I was going to say Beethoven's fifth Absolutely,
- 8:38Speaker 1: if it's good enough for die hard, it's good enough
- 8:39Speaker 1: for well dying hard.
- 8:45Speaker 4: Yeah, you can go uh, I don't know, maybe a
- 8:48Speaker 4: little dancing, maybe a little uh, you know.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Just disturbed sound of silence.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Oh that's a good one.
- 8:56Speaker 5: Nice there.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I's got chills thinking about it. Thank you, Trey.

- 9:48Speaker 8: know all the verbiage. You don't understand the estimate that

- 10:12Speaker 8: construction point of view what needs to be on there
- 10:15Speaker 8: to make your home safe and water tight. And then
- 10:18Speaker 8: if there's any other damage that they miss and then
- 10:20Speaker 8: we acknowledge that as well. So we just want to help,

- 11:27Speaker 1: along with Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma. There has been
- 11:30Speaker 1: possibly an unholy alliance in the music world. And I
- 11:35Speaker 1: say unholy, but in reality it's pretty cool. Raj, your
- 11:42Speaker 1: favorite band of all time is.
- 11:46Speaker 3: I already know where this is going. And it's Motley Crue.
- 11:51Speaker 1: One of the greatest living legend musical artists of all
- 11:54Speaker 1: time is Raj Golly Pardon, and two have come together
- 12:05Speaker 1: to scissor in musical infamy by re recording Motley Cruz
- 12:11Speaker 1: Home Sweet Home and Dolly Parton laying down some vocal
- 12:15Speaker 1: tracks with the crew Oh.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Yeah, and.
- 12:21Speaker 5: Both both singers.
- 12:46Speaker 1: So Dolly Parton and Motley Crue teamed up to re record,
- 12:53Speaker 1: using hard air quotes. There re record Home Sweet Home
- 12:57Speaker 1: because I don't know if Vince new Ever sounded that good.
- 13:03Speaker 3: He did he did in the in the in the
- 13:05Speaker 3: early eighties, late eighties. He can't sing to say.
- 13:08Speaker 4: I mean, if you put a gun to Vince Neil's
- 13:10Speaker 4: head and said, and I've been to multiple concerts, that's
- 13:13Speaker 4: the only song he nails is he does Home Sweet
- 13:16Speaker 4: Home at the end.
- 13:17Speaker 3: That's the only song he gets through.
- 13:18Speaker 4: He's not out of breath, and he hits every note,
- 13:20Speaker 4: and I in my head, I'm like, that's what he's
- 13:22Speaker 4: saving the whole concert for. He's like, I'm gonna I'm
- 13:25Speaker 4: gonna be out of breath, I'm gonna not know the words.
- 13:27Speaker 4: I'm gonna point point the mic at the audience. So
- 13:29Speaker 4: they can sing. So I can sing one song.
- 13:32Speaker 3: That's that's it.
- 13:34Speaker 1: So they teamed up to raise money for Covenant House,
- 13:36Speaker 1: which helps youth experiencing homelessness. Yes, it's available now. Is
- 13:41Speaker 1: the final track on Motley Crue's upcoming album From the Beginning,
- 13:45Speaker 1: which will be released on September twelfth. It'll be an
- 13:48Speaker 1: updated collection of their best songs. Dolly Parton and Motley Crue.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Yeah thank god they still have the original vocals. Yeah,
- 13:58Speaker 2: I know it's not Vince.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm sorry, re record shut the cup. No sorry.
- 14:08Speaker 2: And the sad thing is Dolly looks like a younger
- 14:11Speaker 2: lady than Vince.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Yes, that's true.
- 14:14Speaker 4: Yeah, Uh, Dolly's what like you look at Vince and
- 14:19Speaker 4: you look at Dolly.
- 14:20Speaker 3: You look at Dolly go clean living, that's what.
- 14:23Speaker 4: That's what you see Vince And you're like, he needs
- 14:25Speaker 4: ozem pic Like that's the that's the last thing you
- 14:27Speaker 4: want to say about a rock star. You know what
- 14:29Speaker 4: he could You could drop a few pounds there, buddy.
- 14:31Speaker 4: But yeah, yeah, it's gonna be Uh. I'm excited about it.
- 14:34Speaker 4: I can't wait to see the other they're having other guests,
- 14:37Speaker 4: uh guest you know, guest singers on their tracks to
- 14:40Speaker 4: I would love to hear like, you know, wild Side
- 14:43Speaker 4: with Paul Inca.
- 14:44Speaker 3: I think that's gonna be this.
- 14:47Speaker 1: So this I'm glad you brought this up, Raj, because
- 14:49Speaker 1: it reminds me of Tony Curtis. I think it was
- 14:53Speaker 1: Tony Curtis. He went through and did a similar thing
- 14:55Speaker 1: where he did an album with some of his songs.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Help me if I'm remembering this frommy Bennett Sorry, Tony
- 15:01Speaker 1: Tony Bennett. So, Tony Bennett did an album with a
- 15:05Speaker 1: bunch of his classic songs with modern artists singing with him,
- 15:09Speaker 1: and it was a huge success, and it led to
- 15:11Speaker 1: an amazing friendship with Lady Gaga and the friendship was
- 15:14Speaker 1: so nice, and the album did so well they went
- 15:18Speaker 1: on tour with it, and that basically made Lady Gaga
- 15:22Speaker 1: Tony Bennett's caretaker for a while.
- 15:24Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, so this.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Has sort of a similar vibe to it.
- 15:29Speaker 4: Yes, And I know that she like when it was
- 15:33Speaker 4: getting I think when it Alzheimer's or whatever it was.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Was getting pretty severe.
- 15:37Speaker 4: She talked about how she would walk in and he
- 15:39Speaker 4: would immediately recognize her and start to sing their song, Yeah,
- 15:43Speaker 4: which I thought was the power of music.
- 15:45Speaker 3: It's it's brilliant.
- 15:47Speaker 1: So my question is is is Motley Crue using Dolly
- 15:53Speaker 1: Moore or is Dolly using motley Crue? More like who
- 15:56Speaker 1: needs to more?
- 15:58Speaker 5: Dolly doesn't need.
- 15:59Speaker 3: A dance No, it neither does.
- 16:01Speaker 4: I mean like Motley Crue made their money, Molly Crue
- 16:03Speaker 4: made their money in the back in the eighties when
- 16:05Speaker 4: record deals actually made you money.
- 16:08Speaker 3: Uh, they made I mean I think I think.
- 16:09Speaker 4: The first album Live Wire, Uh, they were they were
- 16:13Speaker 4: millionaires overnight. That's why Covenant House is so big. With
- 16:16Speaker 4: Nicki six is he was legitimately homeless, so that's why
- 16:19Speaker 4: he's doing that. But no, I think she's trying to
- 16:22Speaker 4: break into that rock market. I think she there's a
- 16:25Speaker 4: there's they're doing enough press thing with Nicky and Dolly,
- 16:28Speaker 4: and she's like, you know, do I look rock enough?
- 16:30Speaker 3: Am I wearing enough rock jewelry?
- 16:32Speaker 4: And you're standing next to Nicky six, who's just always
- 16:34Speaker 4: looked rock and roll since he was a kid. So
- 16:37Speaker 4: I think that's just a cool collaboration to see if
- 16:41Speaker 4: she can get into a younger a younger market and
- 16:43Speaker 4: a new market. That's like being in tune with Motley
- 16:46Speaker 4: Crue and.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Well, yeah, well Dolly is I mean, you gotta mamber.
- 16:50Speaker 2: She just did a duet with Sabrina Carpenter. I mean
- 16:52Speaker 2: she she is having She's been having a moment for
- 16:56Speaker 2: the last couple of years when people realize because not
- 16:58Speaker 2: only she's incredibly talented, great songwriter, but genuinely a good person,
- 17:04Speaker 2: like the stuff she gives away and the charity she supports.
- 17:09Speaker 5: She's just seems to be just a really good.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Human and we need more of that, unfortunately, because I
- 17:15Speaker 1: keep seeing more and more of these days. You know,
- 17:17Speaker 1: as a society and businesses corporations, we keep propping up
- 17:22Speaker 1: the worst of us and cashing in on that cachet,
- 17:26Speaker 1: people like stephen A. Smith, the Kardashians, people you know
- 17:31Speaker 1: that might be loud and obnoxious and have lots to
- 17:34Speaker 1: say but zero credibility, no authenticity. And then there's people
- 17:39Speaker 1: like Dolly Parton, and there are others like her, But
- 17:42Speaker 1: it just seems like more and more of these days
- 17:43Speaker 1: we get the horrible types that are propped up on
- 17:46Speaker 1: a pedestal for all of us because they garner ratings
- 17:49Speaker 1: in revenue. But at the end of the day, I
- 17:51Speaker 1: would much rather have substance over the style.
- 17:56Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, I don't know about you know, the
- 17:58Speaker 4: Kardashians in the sense like Tim Kardashian still has to
- 18:01Speaker 4: go through life knowing that she dated Ray J so uh,
- 18:04Speaker 4: and that the world knows about.
- 18:05Speaker 3: It, so uh.
- 18:07Speaker 4: And then you also have the mom that horeed you out,
- 18:09Speaker 4: so somebody's got to make some money somewhere, so uh.
- 18:14Speaker 4: But yeah, I mean it's we're living in an odd
- 18:16Speaker 4: world where Motley Cruez got Dolly Parton and Kim Kardashian's
- 18:19Speaker 4: a lawyer. I don't know what is happening. I don't
- 18:22Speaker 4: know what's next. I'm waiting for Barry Manilow to do Girls,
- 18:25Speaker 4: Girls Girls.
- 18:29Speaker 5: I would download that.
- 18:30Speaker 1: I want to hear that. These these are the combinations,
- 18:33Speaker 1: Like if we're gonna be ridiculous, let's go nuts. Let's
- 18:36Speaker 1: go absolutely crazy with the mashups of artists doing things
- 18:40Speaker 1: you wouldn't expect, Like who's Trey Who's I'm drawing a
- 18:47Speaker 1: blank on his name. Who's the the white singer that
- 18:49Speaker 1: stole all the black artists stuff and redid it for
- 18:52Speaker 1: white crowds? Like, I know there's a lot, but there's one.
- 19:01Speaker 3: What Elvis Presley. That's fun.
- 19:05Speaker 1: No, like it was more. Damn it, I need more
- 19:09Speaker 1: magic mind. I can't remember this. There's a guy, it's
- 19:12Speaker 1: like his name is Paul or Dick or something, and
- 19:15Speaker 1: he really did. He would take some of these songs
- 19:20Speaker 1: and just cover them and sell them to the white market,
- 19:24Speaker 1: and he really would change very little of it, and
- 19:26Speaker 1: he made a huge career out of it.
- 19:31Speaker 5: I tell you, we're talking about like fifties and sixties or.
- 19:36Speaker 3: I don't.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Got it. I hate it when I can't think of
- 19:40Speaker 1: stuff like this, he re recorded. I'm gonna google it.
- 19:45Speaker 1: We'll come back and I'll tell you what it is.
- 19:47Speaker 1: In addition to how to know next time if the
- 19:50Speaker 1: Pentagon's about to bomb a bunch of people.

- 20:41Speaker 1: on air and we'll see you next Tuesday. This is
- 20:46Speaker 1: the Treehouse Show. I'm Dan, He's trade, that's rash, It's
- 20:48Speaker 1: Pat Boone. Pat Boone is the guy I couldn't think of.
- 20:51Speaker 1: That may be one of the clear, but that may
- 20:54Speaker 1: be one of the most. I can't even talk now.
- 20:57Speaker 1: That may be the best example of a live brain
- 20:59Speaker 1: fart that you'll ever hear out of me, because I
- 21:02Speaker 1: know that name and I know that story. We've talked
- 21:04Speaker 1: about it for years. And the fact that I couldn't
- 21:07Speaker 1: recall that name, that's the kind of brain fart that
- 21:09Speaker 1: drives me absolutely crazy. Pat Boone. Pat Boone's the guy
- 21:12Speaker 1: that would take music and songs from artists of color
- 21:18Speaker 1: and really not even change it that much other than
- 21:21Speaker 1: just basically white it up.
- 21:25Speaker 10: Uh.
- 21:25Speaker 1: And then and then he made millions to the white
- 21:27Speaker 1: market because the whites had no idea this music was,
- 21:30Speaker 1: you know, from from you know, blacks or other people
- 21:34Speaker 1: of color. He was just straight up you know, stealing
- 21:37Speaker 1: their stuff.
- 21:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:39Speaker 4: I mean Elvis did it with Houndog. That was his
- 21:43Speaker 4: the first breakout hit. And that's what was her name.
- 21:50Speaker 4: She was a black R and B blue singer and
- 21:54Speaker 4: she she recorded hound Dog first, and he heard that
- 21:58Speaker 4: track and just redid it for the white audience. So
- 22:02Speaker 4: as much as I'm a huge, huge, huge Elvis Presley fan,
- 22:06Speaker 4: it is a fact that he kind of was like
- 22:08Speaker 4: and I'll take that.
- 22:10Speaker 3: That was very much.
- 22:14Speaker 1: And it made millions anyway, So there we get, there
- 22:19Speaker 1: we go. I got to finally thank you for coming that.
- 22:22Speaker 3: Boone's album cover when he did the rock thing with
- 22:24Speaker 3: the leather.
- 22:26Speaker 4: Oh yeah, that's a that's a boon you don't want
- 22:29Speaker 4: to see.
- 22:35Speaker 1: All right. So earlier today we discussed the snacks and
- 22:39Speaker 1: the facilities aboard the B two bombers that delivered the
- 22:43Speaker 1: payloads to the Iran nuclear sites over the weekend. But
- 22:48Speaker 1: before all that happened, if you're ever curious to know
- 22:51Speaker 1: whether or not we're about to attack somebody as a nation,
- 22:57Speaker 1: all you got to do is fall the pizza. Because
- 23:03Speaker 1: there is a viral social media account known as Pentagon
- 23:07Speaker 1: as Pentagon Pizza Report hours before is Hours before Israel's
- 23:13Speaker 1: surprise strike on Iran's nuclear facilities on June twelfth, the
- 23:18Speaker 1: account flagged a major spike in pizza deliveries around the Pentagon,
- 23:22Speaker 1: naming spots like we the Pizza Dominos and District Pizza
- 23:26Speaker 1: Palace ten minutes later, a significant drop in activity. By
- 23:29Speaker 1: ten pm. The account added that Freddy's Beach Bar nearby
- 23:33Speaker 1: had unusually load Thursday traffic, suggesting a long night at
- 23:37Speaker 1: the office for national security types. This kind of pizza
- 23:41Speaker 1: surge has reportedly happened before major military ops, including the
- 23:45Speaker 1: US invasions of Panama in nineteen eighty nine and the
- 23:48Speaker 1: start of desert storm in Iraq in nineteen ninety one.
- 23:56Speaker 1: So you know, if you're ever looking for an indication
- 24:00Speaker 1: that were up to something, yeah, follow the pizza.
- 24:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:04Speaker 4: I never would have thought, you know, Warren pizza would
- 24:07Speaker 4: hand in hand. I didn't think that that would be like, hey,
- 24:10Speaker 4: who are about to bomb? I could use some pepperoni.
- 24:12Speaker 4: I could go for I could go for a slice.
- 24:14Speaker 1: I mean, really, what is there a better time for
- 24:17Speaker 1: a break from pizza party?
- 24:20Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, if that's your I guess the go
- 24:24Speaker 4: to meal. I would always assumes like West Coast, sorry,
- 24:28Speaker 4: East Coast would be more of a Chinese food because
- 24:31Speaker 4: they have really good Chinese food on these coast.
- 24:33Speaker 1: So I've thought about this way too hard. The reason
- 24:36Speaker 1: why I think that our national security interests order pizza
- 24:41Speaker 1: during these types of events is because you can eat
- 24:46Speaker 1: it with one hand while you bomb with your other.
- 24:49Speaker 3: That is true, Okay, solid I got it.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Like you can't do that if you're having a meatball
- 24:56Speaker 1: sub and if you're doing Chinese food, you had to
- 24:58Speaker 1: hold the container and the sticks or the fork so
- 25:02Speaker 1: that that needs two hands.
- 25:03Speaker 4: So yeah, I'm wondering if that's why white castle was invented. Oh,
- 25:09Speaker 4: little slider, you can you can have a slider. You
- 25:12Speaker 4: can have a cheeseburger slider. That's that's a good day too.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Does DC have white castles in the surrounding area?
- 25:18Speaker 11: Okay, no, I think you're if you're you're about to
- 25:26Speaker 11: watch a live event, you know you want something that
- 25:30Speaker 11: you can just keep in your hand, munch on whatever.
- 25:32Speaker 2: I mean, you know you're about to get the good
- 25:34Speaker 2: people about to get bombed.
- 25:35Speaker 5: You just grab a slice.
- 25:37Speaker 3: Oh yeah, there it goes.
- 25:39Speaker 2: You know, you don't have to be messing around with
- 25:41Speaker 2: because then you know, if you do Chinese you got
- 25:43Speaker 2: to get all the different dishes and everything else. But
- 25:45Speaker 2: you know, pizza, you just give different types. You lay
- 25:47Speaker 2: them all out there there. People can pick and.
- 25:49Speaker 4: And and watch watch the show Yeah, well what if
- 25:52Speaker 4: you yeah, what if you get the pizza from the
- 25:54Speaker 4: one place that is close by? But it's not a
- 25:57Speaker 4: good slice. So you're watching really good war, you're having
- 26:00Speaker 4: a mediocre slice.
- 26:01Speaker 2: I mean, it's the Pentagon. It's not like they're they're
- 26:03Speaker 2: they're stingy with the money. I mean, yeah, so I
- 26:06Speaker 2: I I fully expect that they're they're gonna get the
- 26:09Speaker 2: good stuff.
- 26:11Speaker 3: They're gonna fly somebody in from Italy, you know, to
- 26:14Speaker 3: make pizza.
- 26:15Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't know. I don't know how
- 26:17Speaker 1: it is the Pentagon doesn't have their own pizza oven.
- 26:23Speaker 2: If the Pentagon is is clipping coupons for for for
- 26:26Speaker 2: pizza night.
- 26:27Speaker 5: I really have some questions about you.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Know, yeah, we're over budgeted on every military project. But
- 26:35Speaker 2: you know, you're you're you're cutting costs there. Yeah, we
- 26:38Speaker 2: might need to realize things.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm with you. We we overspend when it comes
- 26:42Speaker 1: to military stuff. We we overspend, we overproduce, we over manufacture.
- 26:47Speaker 1: I really don't think the spot to cut corners is
- 26:50Speaker 1: the refreshments.
- 26:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I just yeah, I don't see that.
- 26:55Speaker 4: Yeah, well that's that's that's when they all that's in
- 26:58Speaker 4: my head in the movie version, and like they're they're
- 27:00Speaker 4: they're ordering the pizza and they just kind of turned
- 27:03Speaker 4: their head to the Indian guy who's literally in the
- 27:05Speaker 4: corner clipping the coupons and he's like, I'm almost done.
- 27:10Speaker 4: We're getting getting twenty percent off, and they're like, stop
- 27:14Speaker 4: in bokash, We're about to We're about to bomb.
- 27:16Speaker 3: Let's just get some slices in. Here's like, this is
- 27:18Speaker 3: why weld over budget the time.
- 27:20Speaker 1: That's also the great thing about pizzas. Even bad pizza
- 27:23Speaker 1: is still pretty good.

- 28:34Speaker 1: This is the Treehouse Show. I'm Dan Olmley, that's Trade
- 28:37Speaker 1: trendholme heat is Raj Sharma. It is Tuesday inside the
- 28:40Speaker 1: tree House and that means it's time to hear from you.
- 28:45Speaker 1: This is Treehouse Talkback.
- 28:50Speaker 10: Hey, gentlemen and Dan. My name's Alex.
- 28:55Speaker 5: What about man?
- 28:59Speaker 1: How are you guys?
- 29:00Speaker 3: As gentlemen? And I'm just Dan.
- 29:02Speaker 5: You caught astray on that.
- 29:03Speaker 4: I think we should I think, yeah, I know that
- 29:06Speaker 4: was unexpected and delight Yeah.
- 29:09Speaker 3: What did I do?
- 29:10Speaker 1: Got a duck look out for these things?
- 29:12Speaker 10: Jesus, Hey, gentlemen and Dan.
- 29:20Speaker 12: My name is Alex and I am a longtime listener,
- 29:23Speaker 12: first time caller. I was just listening to the Jurassic
- 29:27Speaker 12: Park episode and I wanted to say the numbers that
- 29:33Speaker 12: they hadn't provided about how many Hispanics are willing to
- 29:36Speaker 12: go to a Jurassic Park and the reasoning I think
- 29:40Speaker 12: you are missing the fact that we look at it
- 29:44Speaker 12: as a business opportunity.
- 29:47Speaker 1: So real quick to recap when we dug into the
- 29:50Speaker 1: demographic data of the people that said yes they would
- 29:53Speaker 1: go to a real life Jurassic Park, Hispanics were the
- 29:56Speaker 1: largest group of people to say yes they would go.
- 29:59Speaker 1: It was like four pready something percent of Hispanics said yeah,
- 30:01Speaker 1: we'll go. And this is why, and Alex is telling
- 30:05Speaker 1: us why.
- 30:07Speaker 12: Boots and belts that we can make from a t
- 30:10Speaker 12: rex hide could be plentiful.
- 30:14Speaker 10: And we look at it.
- 30:15Speaker 12: How many tacos stands we can feed with that meat
- 30:19Speaker 12: from a t rex. I mean the carneita tacos and
- 30:22Speaker 12: bible goa tacos that we can make out of that
- 30:24Speaker 12: are going to be very plentiful. I just thought it
- 30:27Speaker 12: was funny thinking about that. Could be could be some
- 30:32Speaker 12: very good boots. Again, guys, I appreciate listening to you.
- 30:36Speaker 12: Thank you for making me laugh. Y'all doing a great job. Again,
- 30:40Speaker 12: think about it, t Rex boots. They'll go off the shows.
- 30:45Speaker 1: T Rex boots and t Rex tacos. Yeah, you know
- 30:49Speaker 1: what if they want to go and make it happen,
- 30:51Speaker 1: I'll be here in the mainland waiting.
- 30:54Speaker 4: Yeah, and then we can also do like because of
- 30:56Speaker 4: the tiny hands, we could do like t rex backscratchers.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah, there's obvious there's obvious advantages to merch, but
- 31:04Speaker 1: I like, I like where Alex is here as far
- 31:07Speaker 1: as like it's a business opportunity. That's why the Hispanics
- 31:10Speaker 1: want to go t Rex boots and tacos. It also
- 31:12Speaker 1: sounds like a fun store.
- 31:14Speaker 4: Yeah, I'd go, Yes, I would love to see that
- 31:23Speaker 4: the t Rex boots and tacos.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Look, I mean Cajun's do it with gators.
- 31:28Speaker 4: That's true. Yeah, I could. I could go for a
- 31:32Speaker 4: little t Rex taco.
- 31:35Speaker 3: Oh yeah, there's the there's.
- 31:39Speaker 5: Karne.
- 31:44Speaker 1: I'm here for it.
- 31:48Speaker 3: Wreck.
- 31:48Speaker 10: Yes, sorry, they'll go off the shows.
- 31:52Speaker 13: Yeah, Hey guys, J c Raj, congratulations on the dry
- 31:57Speaker 13: bar special.
- 31:58Speaker 3: Awesome job.
- 32:01Speaker 13: So I don't know if you've seen these Zvo things, right,
- 32:05Speaker 13: they're supposed to be bug catchers, but I have one
- 32:09Speaker 13: in my garage, and I've noticed that there are more
- 32:15Speaker 13: and more spiders around this thing almost every week.
- 32:21Speaker 1: And I'm I'm starting to be concerned about Jac's level
- 32:25Speaker 1: of interest in spiders, because he's the one that asked
- 32:27Speaker 1: last week about whether or not Round Recluses and Black
- 32:30Speaker 1: Widows could get it on. Yes, and that led to
- 32:34Speaker 1: some dark conversation and here he is back with more
- 32:39Speaker 1: spider stuff.
- 32:40Speaker 13: Starting to think that even in America, our spiders are
- 32:45Speaker 13: lazy now, like they're just hanging out waiting for it
- 32:49Speaker 13: to catch it for them, and then they just pick
- 32:52Speaker 13: it off and go. I was like, I don't know
- 32:54Speaker 13: if they're getting smarter, lazier, or if I'm actually just
- 32:58Speaker 13: witnessing evolution.
- 33:00Speaker 1: I think it's evolution. I think it's absolutely smart on
- 33:03Speaker 1: the spider's part to let a device do all the
- 33:05Speaker 1: work for him and then he can go in and
- 33:07Speaker 1: just collect his reward.
- 33:09Speaker 4: Well, I think also when it when it's zaps them.
- 33:11Speaker 4: I mean, I don't know the last time a spider
- 33:13Speaker 4: had a hot meal. Normally it's just cold leftovers.
- 33:19Speaker 3: I know.
- 33:20Speaker 1: Now he's getting like flash fried fly.
- 33:22Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, little little pan fried insect.
- 33:27Speaker 1: I mean, you know what it is. J c unknowingly
- 33:30Speaker 1: built the State Fair for spiders in his garage.
- 33:34Speaker 4: He's the Benihanas for spiders, which is all it's a botching, Like.
- 33:39Speaker 1: It's just the spiders are getting little mosquitos tossed into
- 33:43Speaker 1: their into their plates, in their mouths.
- 33:49Speaker 4: You know. It's one spider like, hey, I know you
- 33:51Speaker 4: guys are tired of eating the cold flies. J C.
- 33:55Speaker 4: That's where we gotta go. He's that's what they call it.
- 33:57Speaker 4: That's like that their restaurant. We're going to j C's tonight.
- 33:59Speaker 4: It's it's hot and fresh.
- 34:01Speaker 1: That's right. And you know what's going to happen is now,
- 34:03Speaker 1: because the word's gonna spread and you're gonna end up
- 34:06Speaker 1: with more spiders in your garage, just like at the
- 34:09Speaker 1: Beni Hanna. You're gonna have like one device cooking up
- 34:13Speaker 1: all these little bugs and like fifteen spiders some on
- 34:17Speaker 1: date night, ready to ready to catch the goods in
- 34:20Speaker 1: their mouth from the chef. So if in the middle
- 34:25Speaker 1: of the night you start hearing like some weird clanging
- 34:29Speaker 1: going on that wakes you up, at least you'll know
- 34:31Speaker 1: why Benny Hannah's open late. Apparently in Jason's garage. There
- 34:47Speaker 1: is one more Treehouse talkback, but I want to save
- 34:50Speaker 1: it because it's a very very special one. And we'll
- 34:52Speaker 1: do that one here in just a little bit. The Treehouse.

- 35:51Speaker 1: He's trade Trendholme. That is Raj Sharma. Today is Tuesday,
- 35:56Speaker 1: June twenty fourth, two thousand twenty five. Let's sell break
- 36:00Speaker 1: today with some birthdays. She plays Starlight on Amazon's The Boys.
- 36:07Speaker 1: Aaron Moriarty is thirty one today. Aaron Moriarty thirty one.
- 36:12Speaker 1: She's the blonde tray.
- 36:14Speaker 3: No.
- 36:14Speaker 5: I know she.
- 36:17Speaker 2: I don't remember what. She just came out that she
- 36:20Speaker 2: got diagnosed with. Forgot what disease.
- 36:22Speaker 3: It was.
- 36:24Speaker 1: Interesting, I don't know. I did not hear that. Love
- 36:29Speaker 1: that show. By the way, Roger, are you are you
- 36:31Speaker 1: a Boys fan? Let me rephrase yep.
- 36:36Speaker 4: I was gonna tell you to do the same thing then, yeah, yeah, okay.
- 36:39Speaker 1: Are you a fan of Amazon's TV show The Boys?
- 36:43Speaker 4: I watched a few episodes in the very beginning. I
- 36:45Speaker 4: love the concept. I think it's great. I just don't
- 36:47Speaker 4: have time to kind of keep up with it. But
- 36:50Speaker 4: it is funny and super dark and uh yeah and
- 36:55Speaker 4: very very very dark at times. And yeah, and I
- 36:58Speaker 4: never saw that angle coming the first I think I
- 37:00Speaker 4: watched most of the first season.
- 37:01Speaker 3: I was like, oh, yeah, okay, makes sense.
- 37:04Speaker 1: It sets the tone, there's no doubt.
- 37:06Speaker 3: Oh it does. So yeah.
- 37:08Speaker 2: But Graves disease is what you and what is that?
- 37:14Speaker 2: It's an autoimmune disease, and I don't.
- 37:17Speaker 3: It's a thyroid eye condition.
- 37:20Speaker 1: Is that the one where like the eyes start poking,
- 37:22Speaker 1: like looking like they're dislodging and coming out of their sockets.
- 37:28Speaker 3: I believe so.
- 37:29Speaker 4: I think it also, I mean it is autoimmune, so
- 37:32Speaker 4: it'll it heightens your ability to catch infections and such.
- 37:37Speaker 4: But I believe it's thyroid complication. It affects the eyes.
- 37:42Speaker 4: You can have like red eyes and watery eyes. It
- 37:43Speaker 4: looks jaundice. But yeah, thyroid eye disease can lead to
- 37:48Speaker 4: grapes So she probably was diagnosed with that first and
- 37:54Speaker 4: then and then and then it moved on to or
- 37:57Speaker 4: escalated to grapes disease.
- 37:58Speaker 1: All right, other birthdays today. Candice Patton, who plays or
- 38:03Speaker 1: played Iris West on The Flash on television show on
- 38:06Speaker 1: c W. She is thirty seven today, one of the
- 38:10Speaker 1: greatest soccer players, not only in the world but ever.
- 38:13Speaker 1: Lionel Messi is thirty eight today.
- 38:16Speaker 3: Wow.
- 38:18Speaker 4: Wow, He's done so much more than all of us.
- 38:22Speaker 3: That's impressive.
- 38:24Speaker 4: But you also have to understand when people like where
- 38:25Speaker 4: do these guys come from, Like they get recruited at
- 38:27Speaker 4: a very early age, like it's it's really like I
- 38:30Speaker 4: think it was David Beckham signed with Manchester United when
- 38:34Speaker 4: he was I want to say it was like seven
- 38:36Speaker 4: or eight.
- 38:37Speaker 1: Good, yeah, yeah, once once. Once. Talent is spotted in
- 38:43Speaker 1: these sports, especially soccer. The teams because these club teams
- 38:47Speaker 1: are very interesting because they have their academies. And I
- 38:51Speaker 1: know about this one because I've somewhat followed soccer a
- 38:54Speaker 1: little bit here and there, you know. But then the
- 38:57Speaker 1: more I've watched Welcome to Wrexham because of Reynolds and
- 39:00Speaker 1: Rob Macklhenny. They go through and educate all of us
- 39:05Speaker 1: idiot Americans on soccer life. And it is interesting how
- 39:09Speaker 1: if in order to be a successful club you have
- 39:12Speaker 1: to have an academy where you're bringing in kids that
- 39:15Speaker 1: can then kind of like the minor leagues in baseball,
- 39:19Speaker 1: that can then fund and fuel your future as a club.
- 39:22Speaker 1: It's very interesting.
- 39:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:24Speaker 4: I think Wayne Rudy scored his first goal in uh
- 39:27Speaker 4: for the Premier League when he was fifteen.
- 39:30Speaker 1: Yeah, that's that's that sound that sounds young.
- 39:32Speaker 3: But I don't know, yeah, fifteen or sixteen years old.
- 39:35Speaker 4: But yeah, they get these guys, and I mean that's
- 39:37Speaker 4: why you have Blennel Messi thirty eight, who turned down
- 39:39Speaker 4: a billion dollars from I believe was a Qatar or
- 39:42Speaker 4: Saudi Arabia that wanted him. It was one of the
- 39:45Speaker 4: one of those countries that are like, we'll give you
- 39:46Speaker 4: a billion dollars and he's like, no, I'm going to Miami,
- 39:50Speaker 4: Like Saudi sounds great.
- 39:52Speaker 2: Got it and he got a piece. Yeah, Like it
- 39:56Speaker 2: may not have been a billion, but he got a
- 39:57Speaker 2: good chunk. But I know, I know. Messi was taken
- 40:01Speaker 2: in in the Argentine national team. I think he was twelve.
- 40:04Speaker 2: Oh yeah, like he was identified as a prodigy then
- 40:07Speaker 2: and then I think he went to Barcelona. Yeah, probably
- 40:12Speaker 2: like fifteen or sixteen.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Yeah. The only thing that I was world class at
- 40:16Speaker 1: at the age of twelve couldn't be shown on TV.
- 40:20Speaker 4: But there is a great psare You're a Treehouse, Ricky,
- 40:27Speaker 4: I am close the door.

- 41:20Speaker 1: you find out in the break?
- 41:22Speaker 2: Oh, Wayne Rinney did he scored his first Premier League
- 41:24Speaker 2: goal at age sixteen?
- 41:26Speaker 3: Like?
- 41:27Speaker 5: Sixteen?
- 41:29Speaker 2: Like I think said, sixteen years and three hundred and
- 41:31Speaker 2: sixty days whatever.
- 41:32Speaker 1: Sixteen years old and you're in the best and you're
- 41:35Speaker 1: in the best league there is in the world for
- 41:38Speaker 1: that sport, and you're sixteen.
- 41:41Speaker 3: And the next day you go to high school?
- 41:45Speaker 1: Does he No? He doesn't. No, I think I think no,
- 41:49Speaker 1: oh no, no.
- 41:50Speaker 3: You would go back that day.
- 41:52Speaker 1: And then that would be the last day. Yeahh okay,
- 41:55Speaker 1: it makes sense. And you go there not to go
- 41:56Speaker 1: to class, but just to collect phone numbers, yes, or just.
- 42:01Speaker 4: Just have It's like the fawns in his bathroom at outs,
- 42:03Speaker 4: like you just go, I'll be in that stall, ladies
- 42:09Speaker 4: line line begins here.
- 42:16Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what you go back for just one day.
- 42:20Speaker 1: God, I can't even fathom that. The only thing that
- 42:22Speaker 1: I can come close to equating that from like an
- 42:25Speaker 1: American sport term would be Pad Rodriguez, catcher for the
- 42:34Speaker 1: Texas Rangers. He's called up at the age of I
- 42:39Speaker 1: believe he had just turned nineteen, Oh wow, and he
- 42:44Speaker 1: was about to get married and they said, oh no, no, no, no, no,
- 42:48Speaker 1: can can you hang off on that just a little
- 42:50Speaker 1: bit because we need you to come catch Nolan Ryan tomorrow?
- 42:55Speaker 3: Oh wow?
- 42:56Speaker 1: So I mean you talk about your first appearance in
- 43:01Speaker 1: your sport of choice at the highest level being a
- 43:04Speaker 1: splash and being thrown into the fire. You're a catcher
- 43:07Speaker 1: at the age of nineteen in Major League Baseball and
- 43:10Speaker 1: your first game is catching Nolan Ryan.
- 43:13Speaker 3: Yeah, that was his first I do.
- 43:17Speaker 1: Sorry, baby, you got to wait. I gotta go see
- 43:21Speaker 1: a thing about Nolan Ryan.
- 43:23Speaker 3: First, you've all stay right here.
- 43:26Speaker 1: I'll be right back, and I'll be back on a
- 43:29Speaker 1: really bitch and horse exactly all right, there is one
- 43:36Speaker 1: last talk back I wanted to share with you inside
- 43:39Speaker 1: the Treehouse today. This one is from a gentleman named Mackie.
- 43:44Speaker 3: Yeah, this is Mackie.
- 43:46Speaker 14: You know, I've been listening to y'all for over twenty years,
- 43:49Speaker 14: all the way back to two thousand and three when
- 43:51Speaker 14: I was senior in high school.
- 43:53Speaker 3: And over those twenty years, I.
- 43:55Speaker 14: Get think of some of the worst days of my life,
- 43:57Speaker 14: and y'all were always there to kind of brighten up
- 43:59Speaker 14: my day, help me forget about the things that were
- 44:01Speaker 14: going on. Well, once again, the Treehouse was there for me.
- 44:08Speaker 14: I had to have emergency surgery two weeks ago. Things
- 44:10Speaker 14: got sketchy there for a minute, but I was able
- 44:12Speaker 14: to pull through. But one night, when I was recovering
- 44:15Speaker 14: in the hospital, you know, in the middle of the night,
- 44:17Speaker 14: I was alone already started feeling down again. I then
- 44:23Speaker 14: got a notification that I had a new episode of
- 44:25Speaker 14: The Treehouse to listen to. I listened to you guys,
- 44:29Speaker 14: and once again, as always, y'all were able to brighten
- 44:34Speaker 14: my spirits and make me forget about the things that

- 44:43Speaker 14: want to tell you how much I appreciated, how much

- 44:52Speaker 14: Dan, Raj, Trey, Jerry Dude, thank you guys, Thank y'all
- 44:57Speaker 14: for always being there, and thanked the Lord for the
- 44:59Speaker 14: tree House.
- 45:04Speaker 3: That.
- 45:04Speaker 1: Uh, that is very touching and inspiring to us. And
- 45:12Speaker 1: I don't want to speak for Raj and Trey, but
- 45:16Speaker 1: I feel confident in telling you, Mackie, from the deepest
- 45:21Speaker 1: parts of my heart.
