Transcript
- 0:12Speaker 1: Hello, welcome you to the Naughty but Nica. I'm your
- 0:16Speaker 1: Hostrom Shooter. It's Thursday, which means our favorite. I know
- 0:19Speaker 1: you love him Mark Loopo's joining and goes, hey, Lupy Loup,
- 0:23Speaker 1: how are you?
- 0:24Speaker 2: Oh? I love you too? Hello, Rap, good morning.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Hello. We love you here Mark on this show. I've
- 0:28Speaker 1: always loved you from the moment I met you on
- 0:30Speaker 1: the Wendy Williams Show. What a decade ago, maybe even longer.
- 0:34Speaker 2: It has to be at this point, at least a
- 0:35Speaker 2: decade of.
- 0:36Speaker 1: You're a baby. I was a baby, you were started
- 0:39Speaker 1: out your career. I was a little further along in mine,
- 0:41Speaker 1: I say, and I used to show up at the show,
- 0:44Speaker 1: and you threw me in an elevator, took me to
- 0:46Speaker 1: the fourth floor, and it was a slow elevator. It
- 0:49Speaker 1: was not the best elevator. You were quite surprised you
- 0:52Speaker 1: actually ever made it. Some days, I said, I'll do
- 0:54Speaker 1: the stairs, but in any case, I'm on the elevator
- 0:56Speaker 1: with Mark, and I, as I said, it's a slow ride.
- 0:59Speaker 1: So I got to chitty chat with you.
- 1:00Speaker 2: It was like I like him and love that you
- 1:02Speaker 2: would always come early and you would be there to
- 1:04Speaker 2: talk and you look to gossip and hang out.
- 1:06Speaker 1: That's a secret in life. Turn up early, because that's
- 1:09Speaker 1: when people are loosey goosey. That's when you find out
- 1:12Speaker 1: all the gossips. Most of my sources, Mark, I can
- 1:15Speaker 1: admit this to you, most of my sources I've met
- 1:17Speaker 1: in green rooms because I get there early. I always
- 1:20Speaker 1: get there at least half an hour early, and then
- 1:22Speaker 1: I sit in the green room. Don't ask for a
- 1:24Speaker 1: private room. Sit where everybody else is. I always sit
- 1:26Speaker 1: in the hair and make up section because you see
- 1:28Speaker 1: everybody come in and out, and just be nice. Give
- 1:31Speaker 1: people a smile. How are you? What are you here
- 1:33Speaker 1: to talk about? Now? Obviously, if it's Jennifer Lopez or something,
- 1:37Speaker 1: i'd keep my distance. Maybe it maybe not. But if
- 1:39Speaker 1: it's just another like fashioned person or gossip person, I'd
- 1:43Speaker 1: always talk with them. Change phone numbers, Mark, and then
- 1:46Speaker 1: i'd text them after their segment, which I never watched,
- 1:48Speaker 1: but I'd always text them. If you were brilliant them,
- 1:53Speaker 1: got them for life, for late, for life. If you
- 1:55Speaker 1: give someone a compliment, goten for life, A little tit
- 1:58Speaker 1: of the day. Okay, before we jump in the sh
- 2:00Speaker 1: I've got to give a huge shout out. Yesterday I
- 2:02Speaker 1: went to see a Broadway play. Now you know, I'm
- 2:04Speaker 1: a musical guy. I love singing and dancing. But yes, Yair,
- 2:07Speaker 1: I saw a play. It's called The Hills of California.
- 2:10Speaker 1: It might be the best player I've ever seen. It
- 2:12Speaker 1: is unbelievable. It's set in Blackpool, which is like the
- 2:15Speaker 1: Atlantic city of Britain, a bit down on me. It's
- 2:18Speaker 1: look and it's four singers, four young ladies who live
- 2:22Speaker 1: in this house with their mom, and their mom is
- 2:24Speaker 1: pushing them into show business and they want to be
- 2:27Speaker 1: the Andrew sisters who are the American superstars. They're not
- 2:31Speaker 1: quite that good and they don't quite get there, but
- 2:34Speaker 1: the story of their lives in Blackpool unbelievable. If you're
- 2:39Speaker 1: in New York, I totally recommend this, go and see
- 2:42Speaker 1: The Hills of California. Okay, let's jump into as show.
- 2:45Speaker 1: What time is it? My friends? It is tea time.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Big story. At the top of the show, Mark Jennifer
- 2:51Speaker 1: is finally speaking downt following her split from Ben Affleck,
- 2:55Speaker 1: saying her whole effing world exploded. So she's doing a
- 2:59Speaker 1: new interview with Interview magazine and guess who's interviewing her,
- 3:03Speaker 1: Nikki Glazer. You, no, she's good. That's the person that
- 3:06Speaker 1: does all the roasts, the comedian, very cheeky, very funny.
- 3:10Speaker 1: I'm shocked that Jlo said that that would be okay
- 3:13Speaker 1: with her, because it's like doing an interview with you
- 3:15Speaker 1: or me, Mark, We're going to ask the questions. So
- 3:17Speaker 1: she spoke about breaking up, and she said, now I'm excited.
- 3:21Speaker 1: So at first she was horrified. She said she was terrified.
- 3:23Speaker 1: It was an emotional rollercoaster. But she said, now it's
- 3:26Speaker 1: been a few weeks, she said, I'm excited. And when
- 3:30Speaker 1: you say you're just going to be on your own, yes,
- 3:34Speaker 1: I'm not looking for anyone. So at the moment, Jaelo's
- 3:37Speaker 1: saying she's not looking for anybody else. She wants to
- 3:40Speaker 1: be on her own for a little bit. She said
- 3:42Speaker 1: it did feel lonely and unfamiliar and scary, and it
- 3:46Speaker 1: even felt sad, and she said, it feels desperate. But
- 3:50Speaker 1: then her whole world exploded with this breakup. And she said,
- 3:54Speaker 1: which I think is so interesting, that she's found some
- 3:57Speaker 1: strength in her independence. She said, I know I'm a
- 4:01Speaker 1: good person. I know I'm a good mom. That's true,
- 4:04Speaker 1: and I know who my friends are. She's got some
- 4:08Speaker 1: really close friends. And she says, some people are gonna
- 4:11Speaker 1: love you, and some are not gonna understand you, and
- 4:14Speaker 1: some people just want to hate you. To hate you. Oh,
- 4:18Speaker 1: I hope Benny's something one of those. But I think
- 4:21Speaker 1: this is a really interesting interview. Once again, I'm shocked
- 4:24Speaker 1: she's doing it with Nikki, but it's great. It's a
- 4:26Speaker 1: really good read. Is it too soon for Jennifer to
- 4:29Speaker 1: be telling all?
- 4:30Speaker 2: I'm not a surprised that she did this soon because
- 4:32Speaker 2: the breakup just happened. However, I'm not as surprised that
- 4:35Speaker 2: she did this with Nikki because Jennifer historically likes to
- 4:37Speaker 2: align herself with the people of the moment, and Nicki
- 4:40Speaker 2: definitely is one of those personalities that everyone's talking about
- 4:43Speaker 2: care about. And you know what I do love about this, though,
- 4:46Speaker 2: is I've always known Jennifer as someone who's in love,
- 4:50Speaker 2: being chased after, or playing around. I've never really heard
- 4:53Speaker 2: her say I'm on my own, I'm about to figure
- 4:56Speaker 2: out who I am, And I think this could be
- 4:58Speaker 2: the moment where she breaks through and figures out who
- 5:00Speaker 2: are you without being attached to someone else.
- 5:03Speaker 1: I like it what she's saying it. Mark, Let's see
- 5:05Speaker 1: if she does it. I mean, because she is saying it.
- 5:07Speaker 1: But you're right, I've never known Jennifer really be by herself.
- 5:10Speaker 1: It's always been from different guy to different guy to
- 5:13Speaker 1: different guy. It's always been quite quite needy. I think
- 5:16Speaker 1: she would admit that. I'm not being cruel here to Jennifer.
- 5:18Speaker 1: But I think people all or we've got a friend
- 5:20Speaker 1: at least who's like this. Were you always with a guy? Mark?
- 5:25Speaker 1: Or are you happy being by yourself now?
- 5:27Speaker 2: I mean I I am in some ways like introverted
- 5:31Speaker 2: in that I do like my alone time. I love
- 5:33Speaker 2: like being, you know, foppled myself. I don't necessarily need
- 5:36Speaker 2: to be attached to someone to find like value or
- 5:39Speaker 2: I feel like I have to go navigive the world.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Like I think there's a lot of a lot of
- 5:43Speaker 2: value in being on your own, figuring out what you
- 5:44Speaker 2: really want. And so I do worry a bit for
- 5:47Speaker 2: Jennifer because she's never alone. Like you see her out
- 5:50Speaker 2: in the boat, she has ten people following her. She
- 5:52Speaker 2: doesn't know how to be by herself, right.
- 5:55Speaker 1: I suffer from that too. I'm the youngest of five
- 5:58Speaker 1: so my whole life was a circus from the day
- 6:00Speaker 1: I was born in My house was noisy, my sister's
- 6:03Speaker 1: pulling me everywhere, my brother. It was just a lot.
- 6:06Speaker 1: And that explains now why I am who I am.
- 6:09Speaker 1: I can't be alone. Now. That doesn't mean that I
- 6:12Speaker 1: have to be in a relationship, although I have been
- 6:14Speaker 1: in a relationship for a really long time. I have
- 6:17Speaker 1: to have friends around me. I can't even catch a
- 6:19Speaker 1: subway by myself. Mark, I have to look around and
- 6:22Speaker 1: talk to them on the opposite of you. But I
- 6:25Speaker 1: think sometimes before I got to know you really well,
- 6:28Speaker 1: you could come across a little frosty. I can come
- 6:30Speaker 1: across a little needy, but you can be a little cold. Yes,
- 6:34Speaker 1: you don't need people.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Mark, People think then I better. I'm not rude. I'm
- 6:39Speaker 2: just observant and I'm quiet able to listen. And that's
- 6:41Speaker 2: where I also get my sources in my infos. And
- 6:44Speaker 2: you're quiet and you just kind of just hang out.
- 6:46Speaker 2: People will just really tell you things and share stuff.
- 6:49Speaker 2: And so I'm a little bit of both. But I
- 6:51Speaker 2: do you know. I love being around people. I love
- 6:53Speaker 2: seeing you and everyone out and about. I love the
- 6:55Speaker 2: media world of.
- 6:57Speaker 1: We do have a lovely life. And I'm not saying
- 6:59Speaker 1: which life is right or wrong. You just got to
- 7:01Speaker 1: find the right life for you. And I'm not sure
- 7:03Speaker 1: Jennifer knows how to be a single person. I just
- 7:06Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know if that's the case, which
- 7:08Speaker 1: brings us to our whole question of the day. Jennifer
- 7:11Speaker 1: is doing a first interview getting real about breaking up
- 7:14Speaker 1: with Ben Affleck. She said she's excited about it, but
- 7:16Speaker 1: also terrified. Our question is, Oh, it's a cheeky one, Mark.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Will Jennifer be dating before the end of the year,
- 7:23Speaker 1: so already in October? By December?
- 7:26Speaker 3: On the Naughty but Nice podcast, will we be talking
- 7:29Speaker 3: about Jennifer and her new man? What are you speaking
- 7:32Speaker 3: the next couple of months? Will Jennifer have a new boyfriend?
- 7:38Speaker 3: I think we know the answer. Go vote on our
- 7:41Speaker 3: Twitter page, nice rob Our facebook page is Naughty Gossip
- 7:45Speaker 3: and be sure to check back to morrower to hear
- 7:49Speaker 3: your results.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Hey, Loopy, what are you working on? Yeah?
- 7:53Speaker 2: So, speaking of ups and breakos, Taylor Swift and Travis
- 7:57Speaker 2: Kelsey are not engaged, despite the rumor. Right so, despite
- 8:01Speaker 2: their recent buzz and ESPN commentator Troy Aikman's cheeky comments
- 8:05Speaker 2: on Monday Night Football referring to the swift as the missus.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Sources close to the couple are shutting down engagement rumors.
- 8:12Speaker 2: So the sources of telling TMZ that the wild speculation
- 8:15Speaker 2: is completely unfounded. It's a quote, it's not true. The
- 8:19Speaker 2: media and Overzelles fans do not actually know what's going
- 8:22Speaker 2: on with them and shouldn't make wild assumptions based on
- 8:25Speaker 2: zero facts. And they also added two days ago everyone
- 8:28Speaker 2: decided they were broken up, and now they're allegedly secretly engaged.
- 8:32Speaker 2: It's whiplashing.
- 8:33Speaker 1: They say they have a point. Yeah, point they do.
- 8:37Speaker 1: They do have a point too. So what happened is
- 8:38Speaker 1: this commentator. I don't know football, so I don't know
- 8:40Speaker 1: who he is, but he's a big star. He's the
- 8:42Speaker 1: Katie Couric. Here's the hotocopy of football. I guess like
- 8:46Speaker 1: he's a big deal as a host. And so he
- 8:49Speaker 1: did refer to them as as a as a couple,
- 8:51Speaker 1: as an engaged couple. They're not engaged. I hate the
- 8:54Speaker 1: phones because we really don't know much about this relationship
- 8:58Speaker 1: that they don't want to to know. They're keeping their
- 9:01Speaker 1: cards very close to their chest. Well, somebody that knows
- 9:03Speaker 1: Taylor very well said to me, there will be no
- 9:06Speaker 1: speculation when she gets engaged. She will announce it on
- 9:09Speaker 1: her own social media. That is something that you don't hide.
- 9:13Speaker 1: It's something that you celebrate. That's a good story. It's
- 9:16Speaker 1: something that is going to be a really major moment
- 9:19Speaker 1: in Taylor's life. To get engaged. I'm told, don't worry
- 9:23Speaker 1: about this. You're not gonna need Rob or Mark to
- 9:26Speaker 1: inform you. When Taylor gets engaged, she will tell us
- 9:30Speaker 1: on her own social media. Shall be so happy, she'll
- 9:33Speaker 1: be shouting it from the rooftops. Think about it. Think
- 9:35Speaker 1: about it with your friends. When they get engaged, they
- 9:38Speaker 1: text you, they're like, oh my god, you won't believe
- 9:40Speaker 1: what's just happened. They give you all the details. My
- 9:43Speaker 1: phone blows up. That's what's going to happen with Taylor Swift.
- 9:46Speaker 1: She's going to tell the world that this most special
- 9:51Speaker 1: happy day has finally happened. I like that, Mark. I
- 9:54Speaker 1: hope my source. I believe they are right. I hope
- 9:58Speaker 1: they are right. They really know her, Are you well?
- 10:00Speaker 1: And that sounds like the tailor?
- 10:02Speaker 2: I know? I agree, And I hope that they can
- 10:05Speaker 2: do this on their timeline because I can't imagine how
- 10:08Speaker 2: the pressure of people commenting constantly and wondering what they're doing,
- 10:12Speaker 2: how that actually affects these people and what they do
- 10:15Speaker 2: on their day to day, you know, in terms of
- 10:17Speaker 2: how they really are as a couple.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Does tell you must feel a little of that pressure,
- 10:22Speaker 1: Mark though you were heaving because you've been together now
- 10:25Speaker 1: quite a while.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Well, we do like talking about on this podcast.
- 10:28Speaker 1: So has one of youth brought a little ring? Or
- 10:33Speaker 1: is you see little magazines around the house with rings
- 10:36Speaker 1: and suggestions?
- 10:38Speaker 2: There's no rings and they don't like glories.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Fuck. Well, when it does happen, and I know your
- 10:44Speaker 1: mommy Doris is listening and she wants it to happen too.
- 10:47Speaker 1: When it does happen, do you think it will leak
- 10:50Speaker 1: act or do you think you will announce it?
- 10:52Speaker 2: I would get the exclusive to you, Rob.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Thank you very much, Thank you very much. Okay, moving
- 10:57Speaker 1: along this door is getting messy. Garth Brooks Rape accused
- 11:00Speaker 1: that he's now slamming the singer for naming her, so
- 11:03Speaker 1: she filed a lawsuit against Garth under a pseudonym, under
- 11:08Speaker 1: a Jane Doe name. Well, now he's firing back, and
- 11:10Speaker 1: he's suing her for defamation. But in his lawsuit he
- 11:14Speaker 1: names her name. She happens to be Trish's X maker parties,
- 11:19Speaker 1: his wife's ex maker parties. Now the lawyers are coming
- 11:23Speaker 1: forward saying that this is just another example of Garth
- 11:25Speaker 1: being Garth. The laws quite don't apply to him. So
- 11:30Speaker 1: I do think you have a right to fight back.
- 11:33Speaker 1: When somebody accuses you of something horrific, you can fight back.
- 11:37Speaker 1: But it feels a little petty here that he's had
- 11:41Speaker 1: to name her name. He didn't have to do that, Mark.
- 11:43Speaker 1: He could have just replied with a Jane Doe, but
- 11:46Speaker 1: he didn't. He put her name in the lawsuit.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not really sure what's going out of the story.
- 11:51Speaker 2: It's from the allegations. It's very ugly. However, I'm bit
- 11:55Speaker 2: confused by some of the things that have been submitted
- 11:57Speaker 2: to evidence, the text messages that came from the accuser,
- 12:00Speaker 2: and so don't I don't really know what to say
- 12:03Speaker 2: about this, other than I think we have to wait
- 12:05Speaker 2: and see how it plays out.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Wait and see. I do wait and see. I don't
- 12:08Speaker 1: want it to be true. I really don't. I've always
- 12:11Speaker 1: really liked Garth Brooks, and I've got to be honest
- 12:13Speaker 1: to you. I've been doing this a very long time.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Normally there are a few red flags. Normally there's a
- 12:19Speaker 1: little bit of a whisper about somebody not being a
- 12:21Speaker 1: very good person. We knew the whispers on Ellen, we did.
- 12:24Speaker 1: We heard all her. She wasn't very nice. I've never
- 12:27Speaker 1: heard a whisper on Garth. Everyone I've ever spoke to
- 12:30Speaker 1: that have worked with him, being around him, have met him,
- 12:33Speaker 1: said he was charming. So this one takes me really
- 12:36Speaker 1: by surprise. But texts are texts and voice messages and
- 12:41Speaker 1: voice messages, so now we live in a world where
- 12:43Speaker 1: this evidence lives forever. So she's alleging that he deleted
- 12:49Speaker 1: several texts from her phone. He grabbed her phone and
- 12:52Speaker 1: deleted the messages. Forensically, they're still their market. Even when
- 12:55Speaker 1: you hit delete, you can pull up those messages. So
- 12:58Speaker 1: this is a lesson care for what you send, because
- 13:01Speaker 1: when she send it, it exists for ever. Okay, quickly,
- 13:06Speaker 1: before we get a break. I really like this story, Mark.
- 13:10Speaker 1: I think better late than never. But Anne Hathaway's finally
- 13:15Speaker 1: apologizing for an interview that she did over ten years ago?
- 13:19Speaker 1: What am I talking about? Yeah?
- 13:21Speaker 2: So the Devilworst Product actress recently apologized to report her
- 13:25Speaker 2: Christy Fullah after a twenty twelve interview reservice on TikTok
- 13:29Speaker 2: where Fla shared her less than stellar experience with Hathaway.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Now Fala, who had previously revealed she nearly quit journalism
- 13:35Speaker 2: after the nightmare interview with Blake Lively if you remember
- 13:38Speaker 2: that one, she was shocked to receive a heartfelt apology
- 13:42Speaker 2: from Hathaway herself. Now, according to Flah, Hathaway send a
- 13:45Speaker 2: long email explaining the personal struggles she was going through
- 13:49Speaker 2: the time of the interview and apologizing for giving Fla
- 13:52Speaker 2: an awful interview.
- 13:53Speaker 1: I like it now this interview is pops back up TikTok.
- 13:56Speaker 1: We were just saying this about texts. They never disappear
- 13:58Speaker 1: if you do an interview, is there really forever? And
- 14:01Speaker 1: so it just popped back up and was really rude.
- 14:03Speaker 1: I watched the interior and was aggressively rude. But I've
- 14:06Speaker 1: got to say too, ten years ago, celebrities were allowed
- 14:09Speaker 1: to be a bit rude in interviews, and we cut
- 14:11Speaker 1: all the rude part out, and so now we don't
- 14:14Speaker 1: do that the world has changed, would become a lot
- 14:16Speaker 1: more transparent. Mainly, I think because of cell phones. We've
- 14:19Speaker 1: all got them in our hands now, and so be careful.
- 14:23Speaker 1: If you're going to be rude, then I will reveal it.
- 14:26Speaker 1: I'm not going to come after you for it, but
- 14:28Speaker 1: if you're going to snap at me, that's the interview
- 14:31Speaker 1: I'm going to play. Gode are the days I used
- 14:33Speaker 1: to even clean up spelling mistakes when publicists would send
- 14:36Speaker 1: me statements and they misspelled sometimes their clients' names. If
- 14:41Speaker 1: I wanted to be vile, and the statement was never
- 14:44Speaker 1: that nice if I tell the truth. But if I
- 14:46Speaker 1: wanted to be vile, I could have just printed the
- 14:48Speaker 1: statement they sent it full of heiress and I would
- 14:50Speaker 1: have said they misspelled their client's name. But I always
- 14:53Speaker 1: cleaned it up. Now I think we're a lot more transparent,
- 14:57Speaker 1: and it means celebrities careful and looking back. Looking back now,
- 15:03Speaker 1: when these interviews pop up, Mark, I can see I'm
- 15:05Speaker 1: not gonna ask you, but I can see it in
- 15:06Speaker 1: your eyes. You've got two names in your head right now.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Who's been rude to you? Rude? Rude? Most of mine
- 15:12Speaker 1: are the housewives, rude, Rudbethan is the worst ever rude. Rude, rude.
- 15:17Speaker 1: When these interviews pop back up, handle it like Anne, apologize,
- 15:22Speaker 1: explain what was going on, don't dismiss it, and people
- 15:26Speaker 1: will forgive you. This really puts the pressure though, on
- 15:29Speaker 1: Blake Lively now because Blake was really mean to the
- 15:34Speaker 1: same reporter. I've seen the interview where Blake was really dismissive,
- 15:38Speaker 1: and Blake hasn't apologized and has never said anything. Now
- 15:42Speaker 1: that Anne has Blake, the ball is in your court. Okay,
- 15:46Speaker 1: We're going to take a quick break and we will
- 15:48Speaker 1: be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but Nice Show.
- 15:54Speaker 1: I'm Rob shooting with our dear friend Mark Lupo. Hey,
- 15:56Speaker 1: lou Pee, let's get to the polls. Lash Ever, we
- 15:59Speaker 1: were gossiping about Lisa read Presley's new book, Lots of revelations.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Michael Jackson was a virgin, she clearly did not like
- 16:05Speaker 1: her mom, all sorts of revelations. I can't wait to
