- 0:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:21Speaker 1: So today we have Melissa and Antonia a Gorga, and
- 0:25Speaker 1: we're so excited because I just feel like Melissa is
- 0:29Speaker 1: just one of those boss moms that have taken this
- 0:31Speaker 1: platform and done so much with it, and such an entrepreneur.
- 0:35Speaker 1: I'm sure you can really yeah, much like myself, and
- 0:38Speaker 1: so let's just get into it.
- 0:40Speaker 4: Hi. Hi, Hi guys. Hi, Yes, guys, so cute, Thank you.
- 0:48Speaker 1: I actually love this smug well, not as much as
- 0:51Speaker 1: I love the.
- 0:52Speaker 4: The coffee cake.
- 0:54Speaker 2: The coffee cake i'b sessed with.
- 0:56Speaker 4: I know it's the best. Everyone goes nuts over the
- 0:58Speaker 4: coffee cake.
- 0:58Speaker 5: You.
- 0:58Speaker 4: I have to send you the chalk the chip cookies.
- 1:01Speaker 4: They're so good, Oh my gosh.
- 1:04Speaker 1: So I literally when you send the coffee cake, I
- 1:07Speaker 1: eat the top off of it like.
- 1:09Speaker 3: It's a freak.
- 1:10Speaker 1: I'm a freak because I love the mixture of the
- 1:12Speaker 1: crumble in the sprinkles.
- 1:14Speaker 3: Like the crunchy yes, And I'm like, oh here you guys,
- 1:17Speaker 3: go Gino.
- 1:17Speaker 6: My cakes look crazy. I leave them out and the
- 1:20Speaker 6: whole top.
- 1:20Speaker 4: Layer is always off because he just eats the top
- 1:22Speaker 4: layer and like, oh the morning. It's like Sophia, I
- 1:27Speaker 4: don't feel like I've ever met She's gonna say that.
- 1:29Speaker 1: So this is Sophia's nice to meet you, Lissa and Antonio.
- 1:34Speaker 4: This is who I'm just looking.
- 1:37Speaker 6: And she's so tan, right, I'm like she's I know,
- 1:40Speaker 6: because it's summer Jersey, so you know, a true like
- 1:43Speaker 6: Jersey girl.
- 1:44Speaker 2: She's and we're pale as can be.
- 1:46Speaker 4: I'm like, you're living in Orange County with.
- 1:49Speaker 3: We're in California and we're both very pale.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Well, Sophia's actually allergic to the sun.
- 1:53Speaker 4: Yeah, oh are.
- 1:54Speaker 1: You like hate online like you're like a band core
- 2:00Speaker 1: you look like a corpse.
- 2:01Speaker 2: I'm like, she's actually allergic.
- 2:02Speaker 3: Like if I go in the sun, I will just
- 2:04Speaker 3: break down to a rash.
- 2:05Speaker 4: Now, you know, you're gonna look so young for That's.
- 2:08Speaker 3: What I tell her. That's what I tell her. You
- 2:09Speaker 3: will be the.
- 2:10Speaker 6: Young You'll be like a porcelain doll. When you get older,
- 2:13Speaker 6: you'll have no wrinkle.
- 2:14Speaker 4: You'll be amazing.
- 2:15Speaker 3: So it seems like a fair trade off then, and
- 2:16Speaker 3: honestly unfair. I mean it's unfair.
- 2:18Speaker 2: I should have not the same I'm all wrinkled.
- 2:20Speaker 1: But you guys, you guys are the first mother daughter
- 2:24Speaker 1: duo that we're having on the podcast. And I was
- 2:26Speaker 1: telling Sofia earlier and I said it in your intro
- 2:29Speaker 1: that I wanted you guys because we have a lot
- 2:33Speaker 1: of similarities.
- 2:35Speaker 2: We're both boss babes, we're both.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Featured in a magazine as being entrepreneurs and starting businesses
- 2:41Speaker 1: on our platform with Bravo, And there's a you know,
- 2:44Speaker 1: your family dynamic has been a little rough, and Sophia
- 2:47Speaker 1: grew up with, you know, a big divorce in this
- 2:50Speaker 1: split with the family and you know, and how tough
- 2:53Speaker 1: that is, and not a lot of people understand that, yes,
- 2:55Speaker 1: they've gone through it.
- 2:56Speaker 3: It's such a niche experience, you know, especially like being
- 2:59Speaker 3: in like the all overse in the public eye of
- 3:01Speaker 3: it all, it's like very niche.
- 3:04Speaker 6: Yeah, everyone everyone giving their opinions, like it's it's hard
- 3:08Speaker 6: enough if your mother was not one of the head
- 3:11Speaker 6: stars of Bravo for so many years, but adding that
- 3:15Speaker 6: to it, I can only imagine. I remember being a
- 3:18Speaker 6: teenager just having my parents fight and break up a
- 3:21Speaker 6: little bit, like I went through a lot as a
- 3:23Speaker 6: young girl too, and that was a lot for me.
- 3:26Speaker 6: And just like the circle of friends I can't even
- 3:28Speaker 6: imagine having the whole world judge it, right.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Yeah, Well, we have a lot of fun things for
- 3:36Speaker 1: you guys. We really want to get to know your guys'
- 3:38Speaker 1: is dynamic and before, of course, we have to ask
- 3:41Speaker 1: you a couple of jersey questions. Now, congratulations, you just finished?
- 3:45Speaker 1: Is it season fifteen?
- 3:47Speaker 4: Season fifteen?
- 3:48Speaker 3: Yesh rapped?
- 3:49Speaker 4: We are wrapped? Yes? Two years?
- 3:52Speaker 2: Was it a two year break you had?
- 3:54Speaker 4: It was over that? I think it was coming out
- 3:55Speaker 4: to like two and a half three years actually three years, right, yeah,
- 4:00Speaker 4: like three years.
- 4:00Speaker 6: I did wife swap in between, which old, Yes, but
- 4:05Speaker 6: it was it was like almost three years because you know,
- 4:09Speaker 6: they just we just couldn't get it together. And I
- 4:11Speaker 6: think for the last it was taking a good year
- 4:13Speaker 6: and a half for them to recast. I think they
- 4:16Speaker 6: were trying to find the right cast because they must
- 4:20Speaker 6: have known, like you know, they were really going to
- 4:22Speaker 6: switch it up this time.
- 4:23Speaker 1: So, so, how does this season feel different compared to
- 4:28Speaker 1: in the past.
- 4:29Speaker 4: It's so different.
- 4:32Speaker 6: It's Tamera like hopefully, Like I personally love it. I
- 4:36Speaker 6: feel like it's refreshing. Like sometimes I watch Housewives, just
- 4:40Speaker 6: like we all do, and I hear the Ladies or
- 4:43Speaker 6: even my show screaming in the background and I'm.
- 4:45Speaker 4: Like, I don't want to see these girls fight fight,
- 4:47Speaker 4: fight all day.
- 4:48Speaker 6: Like we have drama. We definitely have drama on the
- 4:51Speaker 6: new season. But it's so strange. We all really like
- 4:54Speaker 6: each other, like in.
- 4:56Speaker 4: A weird way, like and I'm not used to that
- 4:59Speaker 4: on Housewives. You know, we're very white.
- 5:01Speaker 1: I had a fun season this year. I had a
- 5:04Speaker 1: fun season, and I'm like, I'm still weird.
- 5:06Speaker 2: People like I, oh, chase that, but that's what we
- 5:07Speaker 2: want to see.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Like everyone online is like so sick of like all
- 5:11Speaker 3: the manufactured yelling at everybody. Everyone wants to see people
- 5:14Speaker 3: have fun.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Yeah, did you find.
- 5:16Speaker 4: The world has changed?
- 5:18Speaker 6: The world has changed, Like we're sick of the fighting,
- 5:20Speaker 6: and like, I think the formula of Housewives is so
- 5:24Speaker 6: like people know it way too much now, So it's like,
- 5:27Speaker 6: let's just show real life if we really get mad,
- 5:29Speaker 6: let's really get mad, but that's not animated if we
- 5:32Speaker 6: don't need to, And I feel like that, what the
- 5:34Speaker 6: way are we have a new producer now that he
- 5:37Speaker 6: kind of produced the show and I loved it.
- 5:41Speaker 4: I feel like people are.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Gonna that makes a difference, That makes a huge difference stuff.
- 5:44Speaker 4: But they're saying there's only gonna be like ten episodes.
- 5:48Speaker 6: Untrue, there is. There is definitely more than ten episodes.
- 5:52Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, Antonia, I saw you've been watching New Jersey
- 5:56Speaker 3: from the beginning on TikTok. How has that been?
- 5:58Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 6:00Speaker 5: Definitely a roller coaster because I watched like the beginning
- 6:04Speaker 5: of the feud and then now I'm in like the
- 6:06Speaker 5: moment where like they made up. Now now it's like happiness.
- 6:09Speaker 5: But now I think there's another era where we.
- 6:12Speaker 7: Don't talk anymore.
- 6:13Speaker 4: We scared for that. Yet, what season are you going?
- 6:16Speaker 5: Ten? Oh?
- 6:17Speaker 4: She's only on season ten. She's got four more to
- 6:19Speaker 4: go before she gets to where we are?
- 6:21Speaker 2: Now, what made you decide to do that? So smart?
- 6:25Speaker 5: I feel like I always like people always ask me
- 6:27Speaker 5: questions about it, and I literally never know the answers
- 6:30Speaker 5: to them and everyone like.
- 6:32Speaker 7: Oh remember this, remember that.
- 6:33Speaker 5: I'm like, I don't watch it, Like I have no idea.
- 6:36Speaker 5: So I just like felt like it was time.
- 6:38Speaker 3: I feel you completely, Like I have not watched any
- 6:42Speaker 3: of Orange County House, so I was I probably should
- 6:44Speaker 3: do the same thing and rewatch it because I honestly
- 6:46Speaker 3: don't know much about what happened these kids.
- 6:50Speaker 2: I don't know what it is.
- 6:51Speaker 1: It's like they participate, they want to get paid, right.
- 6:55Speaker 3: And then I don't watch it back.
- 6:57Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 6:58Speaker 6: No, but for her, like she was so little when
- 7:00Speaker 6: we filmed so much of it. I'm sure you were too, Sophia,
- 7:03Speaker 6: So like she doesn't remember a lot of it. So
- 7:07Speaker 6: watching it, it's funny to me, like I'll come home
- 7:09Speaker 6: and she.
- 7:10Speaker 4: Has her show on, like like she doesn't realize it's
- 7:13Speaker 4: us and her, like she's ship into this show. It's
- 7:16Speaker 4: so strange.
- 7:17Speaker 5: I'm like a fan now, yeah, like that's not like
- 7:20Speaker 5: my mom, Like I'm a fan. No.
- 7:21Speaker 6: We saw Albi and we went to a restaurant and
- 7:24Speaker 6: Albi was in there and she was still in the
- 7:26Speaker 6: beginning episodes where Albi was like the god, like Alby's here, Mom,
- 7:31Speaker 6: I'm like Jesus Christyantonia, Like she's a fan of Real
- 7:36Speaker 6: Housewives of New Jersey.
- 7:37Speaker 4: And she's like in it.
- 7:38Speaker 3: It's I'm sure you're watching it, like gives you a
- 7:40Speaker 3: new perspective on things. Did your opinion change about anyone
- 7:43Speaker 3: since we're watching?
- 7:46Speaker 5: No, but I definitely see true colors of certain people
- 7:49Speaker 5: that I didn't.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Know yeah about Yeah, well I think now that you're
- 7:54Speaker 1: older you're watching.
- 7:55Speaker 5: It, I don't don't understand way, yes, and like it
- 7:59Speaker 5: just makes sense.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Now there's a lot of housewives New Housewives, which means
- 8:06Speaker 1: some people are gone this season.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Is there anyone you guys miss on the show.
- 8:12Speaker 4: For this new season you're talking about?
- 8:14Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 8:14Speaker 4: I love Margaret. I am a huge Margaret. I was
- 8:17Speaker 4: close with all the girls, well not all of them.
- 8:21Speaker 6: There's one that you know, there's a couple that I
- 8:26Speaker 6: miss and a couple that I will not miss, let's
- 8:28Speaker 6: just put it that way, you know. So it's unfortunate,
- 8:31Speaker 6: But you know, I'm so happy for Margaret too, because
- 8:33Speaker 6: she's gone onto the Golden life and she's filming over
- 8:37Speaker 6: there in the Hampton's with them and stuff.
- 8:39Speaker 4: So I think that's awesome for her.
- 8:40Speaker 6: I feel like she is going to be such an
- 8:42Speaker 6: asset to that show with them because a lot.
- 8:46Speaker 4: Of them drink and she's sober.
- 8:47Speaker 6: So I feel like she's so going to remember everything
- 8:52Speaker 6: and remind them everything they've done.
- 8:54Speaker 4: And I think that show is going to be so
- 8:56Speaker 4: great with her on it.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Well, she's filled in for Dolores, because Dolores is I
- 9:00Speaker 1: thought you could.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Have been at that wedding. I saw you on vacation
- 9:03Speaker 2: and stuff.
- 9:03Speaker 6: Did you go No, So Joe and I that we
- 9:07Speaker 6: wrapped filming and we left. We've got on a plane
- 9:09Speaker 6: the next day, went to say, oh, just for like
- 9:11Speaker 6: a long weekend. I got back last night and yeah,
- 9:15Speaker 6: we literally just went for a long weekend, him and I.
- 9:17Speaker 6: We were meeting some friends out there. It was nice
- 9:19Speaker 6: and we just did that. I didn't go to Portugal.
- 9:21Speaker 6: They're going to have a wedding here too, in Jersey,
- 9:23Speaker 6: so that will all.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Go to What a beautiful wedding. Oh yeah, oh my god.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Just from what I've seen on social media, I'm like.
- 9:30Speaker 6: Oh my and his bride, like the dress, the head piece,
- 9:34Speaker 6: that gorgeous, she looks stunny.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Isn't it crazy that like our kids now the girls
- 9:41Speaker 1: that started originally on Housewives can now soon be Housewives.
- 9:47Speaker 4: And insane, like they can have a baby and like
- 9:49Speaker 4: join the show.
- 9:50Speaker 3: I think that, God, don't do that. I have a
- 9:53Speaker 3: baby too.
- 9:55Speaker 4: Would you ever join Housewives?
- 9:56Speaker 5: Like?
- 9:56Speaker 4: Is that something you would ever do?
- 9:59Speaker 2: You know?
- 10:00Speaker 3: I don't know if that's for me. I don't think
- 10:02Speaker 3: I could do it, honestly.
- 10:04Speaker 4: Yeah, you're doing a podcast, right, you know.
- 10:06Speaker 3: I would love to do something in TV. I just
- 10:09Speaker 3: don't know about Housewives specifically. I think I'm too blunt.
- 10:14Speaker 2: That makes it.
- 10:16Speaker 4: Right, that's perfect, Sophia. How old are you?
- 10:20Speaker 3: I'm twenty, the same age exactly.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Yeah, you guys can join.
- 10:25Speaker 6: Everyone always asked Antonio about next Gen. They're like, were
- 10:27Speaker 6: you ever going to do next g I'm like, she's
- 10:28Speaker 6: still in college, She's not.
- 10:30Speaker 1: It's a question on the rundown. Honestly, we'll get into that.
- 10:34Speaker 3: But I have a question for you in Sonia. Yeah,
- 10:38Speaker 3: see more of you this season?
- 10:40Speaker 7: You do you do? Yeah?
- 10:42Speaker 3: Was it fun filming?
- 10:44Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 10:46Speaker 5: I feel like it's just like the same thing, and
- 10:48Speaker 5: like I'm so used to it that it's not it's
- 10:50Speaker 5: just like whatever.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Did you miss it? Did you miss it? When it
- 10:53Speaker 2: was off air? Or you were away at college and
- 10:55Speaker 2: didn't could get too.
- 10:56Speaker 5: Yeah, I didn't being in at college. I was like,
- 10:59Speaker 5: didn't really think about it, to be honest.
- 11:01Speaker 4: Yeah. We're into it now though than when you were younger.
- 11:04Speaker 5: Yeah, definitely more into it. And especially since I'm watching it,
- 11:07Speaker 5: I'm really into it and like seeing them behind the
- 11:09Speaker 5: scenes and stuff.
- 11:10Speaker 3: Yeah, I totally get that.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Yeah, and then also like reconnecting with your cousins too,
- 11:15Speaker 1: And I'm sure they filmed as well, so that probably
- 11:17Speaker 1: made it fun.
- 11:18Speaker 4: Yes, yeah it did.
- 11:21Speaker 6: Yeah, we had like one or two scenes where you'll
- 11:24Speaker 6: see us like all together, like all the cousins, sweet
- 11:28Speaker 6: and everyone together, and I will say it was nice
- 11:31Speaker 6: to see them. Listen, obviously, everyone knows the story of
- 11:36Speaker 6: Teresa and I. That's the tales oldest time, right, But yeah,
- 11:39Speaker 6: to see the kids be together and like my sons.
- 11:42Speaker 6: They the girls love my sons because there's no boys
- 11:45Speaker 6: in that family, you know, I mean, well now Louis
- 11:47Speaker 6: has boys, but like, you know, it's cute to see
- 11:50Speaker 6: them with my boys because they're not used to boys,
- 11:52Speaker 6: and they, you know, they love my sons.
- 11:54Speaker 4: So it was very wholesome. That one of the things
- 11:59Speaker 4: we filmed.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Yeah, that's very sweet.
- 12:09Speaker 1: There's a lot of family members that have come and
- 12:12Speaker 1: gone on this on your show. What about Kathy and Rosie?
- 12:18Speaker 1: Will we see them or is that that ship sailed?
- 12:22Speaker 4: Yeah, that ship is sailed.
- 12:23Speaker 6: I told this story already on a different my podcast,
- 12:26Speaker 6: actually my while back. But I tried to have lunch
- 12:29Speaker 6: with Kathy and like move forward with her, and she
- 12:32Speaker 6: was like so weird about it and was thinking I
- 12:34Speaker 6: was doing it for all the weird wrong reasons, but
- 12:37Speaker 6: I was really just doing it because she literally moved
- 12:39Speaker 6: across the street.
- 12:40Speaker 4: So I was trying to be nice and be like, listen.
- 12:42Speaker 2: You and wait, that's true. She lives across the street.
- 12:44Speaker 4: Oh yeah, like yep, right there, so you see her, Yeah,
- 12:49Speaker 4: we'll see her drive by. Yes, yeah, well we don't.
- 12:54Speaker 7: Really.
- 12:54Speaker 6: I went to lunch with her, but it just didn't
- 12:56Speaker 6: pan out the way that I hoped it would have.
- 12:58Speaker 4: You did go to.
- 12:59Speaker 6: Lunch, yeah, don't you talk about I did before we
- 13:05Speaker 6: started filming. I just saw that she was moving in
- 13:07Speaker 6: across the street and I was like, it's a shame
- 13:10Speaker 6: that's Joe's first cousin that they don't speak to each other.
- 13:14Speaker 6: So I reached out and said, I'd love to go
- 13:16Speaker 6: to lunch. I'd love to like, you know, maybe clear
- 13:18Speaker 6: the air. You're gonna be my neighbor. We went to lunch.
- 13:21Speaker 6: We had a decent lunch, but then she went on
- 13:24Speaker 6: I think it was watch What Happens Live with Andy
- 13:26Speaker 6: as like the Bartender or Surprise Bartender. And I don't
- 13:29Speaker 6: like what she said, so I was like, yeah, never mind,
- 13:31Speaker 6: I'm good.
- 13:32Speaker 3: Like she doesn't.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Yeah, she doesn't have a relationship with your kids nothing.
- 13:36Speaker 4: And I was just like, you're gonna be across the street.
- 13:38Speaker 4: We did. She knew them when they were little. I mean,
- 13:40Speaker 4: you know, Victoria and Joey when they were little. But whatever,
- 13:43Speaker 4: it is, what it is. I tried.
- 13:45Speaker 3: Yeah, at least you tried.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Speaking of like family dynamics, do you feel like the
- 13:50Speaker 3: fans sometimes put more pressure on your family dynamic than
- 13:53Speaker 3: you do yourself?
- 13:55Speaker 5: Yes? Yeah, everyone's two cents opinions, always, always, always, always.
- 14:01Speaker 4: Especially on your Instagram, like you're gay.
- 14:03Speaker 5: Yeah, social media especially is like a whole different level
- 14:06Speaker 5: of like everyone trying to put their two cents in,
- 14:08Speaker 5: and like.
- 14:09Speaker 2: How do you deal with that? I know how your
- 14:13Speaker 2: mom deals with it. How do you deal with that.
- 14:15Speaker 4: I just ignore it, to be honest, and I've always did.
- 14:18Speaker 7: Thank God.
- 14:19Speaker 5: I'm like that because I feel like people like on
- 14:23Speaker 5: social media are so mean and like rude and like
- 14:27Speaker 5: say what they need is like what's on their mind
- 14:29Speaker 5: because they're behind a screen. But I'm just literally like,
- 14:33Speaker 5: don't even like think about it.
- 14:35Speaker 4: You've never really responded.
- 14:36Speaker 5: Never.
- 14:37Speaker 7: Never.
- 14:38Speaker 6: I tell her not to get caught up, because once
- 14:40Speaker 6: you respond, they're so excited that they get a rise
- 14:43Speaker 6: out of you, and they're like, oh, she's reading my shit.
- 14:45Speaker 3: It's like the whole point why they don't say any better.
- 14:47Speaker 4: I was like, you're better off ignoring. I used to
- 14:49Speaker 4: when I first got on the show. I'd be like, like,
- 14:52Speaker 4: you know, I'd want to answer. I'd be like, no,
- 14:54Speaker 4: that's absolutely not correct, and.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Then I you know, you learn one hundred percent.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Like I remember back in the day, I would not
- 15:00Speaker 1: respond to the nice comments. I would respond to the
- 15:03Speaker 1: people talking shit, and then I would talk shit back.
- 15:07Speaker 1: And then it came back to I found that once
- 15:10Speaker 1: you responded to them, then they're like, oh my god,
- 15:12Speaker 1: I'm so sorry I shouldn't have said that about you,
- 15:14Speaker 1: and then they wanted to be your front.
- 15:16Speaker 6: Yeah, always always like it's always so it's not even
- 15:20Speaker 6: worth it. It's just like keep it moving. At this point,
- 15:22Speaker 6: I think we're all like seasoned enough, like everybody understands it,
- 15:25Speaker 6: they understand haters and the game enough now that it's
- 15:28Speaker 6: like you just got to keep living.
- 15:30Speaker 4: And go on with your life.
- 15:32Speaker 5: Do you think about it so much it'll affect you
- 15:34Speaker 5: so you just have to ignore it?
- 15:36Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 15:36Speaker 4: Did you ever feel like it affected you at.
- 15:38Speaker 7: Like, I'm not that time.
- 15:40Speaker 1: No, we're gonna get We're going to get into Ryan
- 15:42Speaker 1: o'plasty in a minute, because Sophia has three weeks out.
- 15:45Speaker 2: But I'll never forget.
- 15:47Speaker 1: It was maybe her sixteenth birthday and I took a picture.
- 15:50Speaker 1: We were on the beach going to lunch, and I
- 15:54Speaker 1: don't really look at my comments, but she at the
- 15:57Speaker 1: time was at my comments and somebody wrote, I hope
- 16:00Speaker 1: she's gonna get a nice job one day, And I've
- 16:04Speaker 1: never forgotten that, and then just recently she did and
- 16:08Speaker 1: it came back to my mind, like is things like that,
- 16:12Speaker 1: like you'll see you know Vicki, for instance, god a
- 16:17Speaker 1: knows job because Slade said she looked like missus Piggy,
- 16:20Speaker 1: like does anything that people say to you, Antonia, They like,
- 16:23Speaker 1: are you like, do you get self conscious about?
- 16:27Speaker 4: No?
- 16:28Speaker 5: I like I When I was younger, it would affect
- 16:31Speaker 5: me a little bit. I would be like, why is
- 16:33Speaker 5: everyone saying like I.
- 16:34Speaker 7: Have a big nose?
- 16:35Speaker 4: I have a big nose?
- 16:36Speaker 5: Like they would compare me to my mom and always
- 16:38Speaker 5: be like, are you gonna do what she did?
- 16:40Speaker 2: Like so you got the same thing that she got?
- 16:43Speaker 5: Yeah, it would, and it would get to me because
- 16:45Speaker 5: it was like so much at like, and I don't
- 16:49Speaker 5: know why everyone was fixated on it, but they just
- 16:52Speaker 5: like kept saying it, so I kept seeing it and
- 16:54Speaker 5: it was affecting me at one point.
- 16:55Speaker 3: But it's just so crazy that they're saying these things
- 16:58Speaker 3: about like actual kids.
- 16:59Speaker 4: I know, isn't that nuts?
- 17:00Speaker 3: And they think it's okay because it's housewife kids, But
- 17:03Speaker 3: that's still a trial at the end of the day.
- 17:04Speaker 7: It's like so weird doing and it's just they don't realize.
- 17:08Speaker 2: And then if you go on their profile, they're like, God.
- 17:11Speaker 4: First, my kids. So one sixty nine point two.
- 17:17Speaker 6: Yes, it's always always, always someone that says like choose
- 17:22Speaker 6: God first.
- 17:23Speaker 4: And lead with love.
- 17:24Speaker 6: Yeah, really, but I think she got a lot with
- 17:28Speaker 6: the note, like she would get comments because people I
- 17:31Speaker 6: remember the comments. But they would comment on her photos
- 17:34Speaker 6: and say, oh, she has her mother's old nose, she
- 17:37Speaker 6: has her mother's old notes, like that's what Melissa used
- 17:40Speaker 6: to look like. Like they because obviously her and I
- 17:43Speaker 6: we look pretty similar.
- 17:44Speaker 4: Especially when my hair is a lot of like, yeah,
- 17:46Speaker 4: we look a lot of like.
- 17:47Speaker 6: So they would always say to her like, oh, when
- 17:50Speaker 6: are you going to get a nose job and then
- 17:52Speaker 6: you're gonna look like your mother again.
- 17:53Speaker 4: Like they would always say those kind of things right
- 17:55Speaker 4: on her, And I do think it.
- 17:57Speaker 6: Affected you because she used to just like I just
- 18:00Speaker 6: I want to get my nose done. I want to
- 18:01Speaker 6: get my nose don And I was like, no, I
- 18:03Speaker 6: wouldn't let her do it until she turned like I
- 18:05Speaker 6: wanted her to have it too.
- 18:06Speaker 4: I wanted her to be.
- 18:07Speaker 6: Twenty, you know, yeah, did it just because I had
- 18:11Speaker 6: a friend had it done very young and she regretted it,
- 18:14Speaker 6: and so I always reminded her of my friend Dawn,
- 18:17Speaker 6: who was like, had.
- 18:18Speaker 4: It done really really young?
- 18:19Speaker 6: And I was like, you just have to wait till
- 18:21Speaker 6: you're in your twenties and then we can do it.
- 18:23Speaker 6: So that's why she's only two months post up right now, right?
- 18:26Speaker 4: Two months?
- 18:27Speaker 3: Yeah, it looks really good.
- 18:29Speaker 4: Thank thank you yours guys too.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Wait what did you get your side three weeks ago?
- 18:34Speaker 4: Oh three weeks? Wow, it looks really really good.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 18:38Speaker 4: I'll sibe you. That's how you can for its beautiful.
- 18:44Speaker 3: Yeah, there is that good.
- 18:45Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Yeah. Well when she walked in, I'm like, your nose
- 18:49Speaker 2: is shiny.
- 18:50Speaker 4: Oh my god.
- 18:51Speaker 3: I don't know if you had this problem, an Tonio,
- 18:52Speaker 3: but like the tape, the glue, I can't get the
- 18:55Speaker 3: glue I was.
- 18:57Speaker 4: She talks about, Is there shiny glued? No?
- 19:00Speaker 6: No, no.
- 19:00Speaker 5: I was freaking out the first day because there was
- 19:03Speaker 5: so much adhesive on my oh and I couldn't even
- 19:06Speaker 5: touch it because it was so sore. And I was
- 19:08Speaker 5: freaking out and I'm that's my prolom and it couldn't
- 19:11Speaker 5: come off.
- 19:12Speaker 7: But I'll tell you what.
- 19:12Speaker 4: I'll show you the thing I did to take it off.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Oh no, I have like constant just like glue on
- 19:17Speaker 3: my nose, and it's like it's still sore at this point,
- 19:19Speaker 3: so I can't like rub it off, so I'm just
- 19:22Speaker 3: living with it.
- 19:23Speaker 5: I did too, I kept putting tape on top of it,
- 19:26Speaker 5: and more would go on. I didn't know until I
- 19:28Speaker 5: found something.
- 19:29Speaker 6: I remember the shiny nose from the nose shet like,
- 19:32Speaker 6: so you just feel shiny twenty four hours a day.
- 19:34Speaker 4: Yes, you feel shiny.
- 19:36Speaker 2: I do.
- 19:37Speaker 3: And she won't stop letting me know about it.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Oh, I'm the worst.
- 19:41Speaker 3: You know, you have glue on your nose. I didn't
- 19:43Speaker 3: know it's glue.
- 19:43Speaker 2: I just thought it was shiny.
- 19:45Speaker 6: So I got to show her just before we jumped
- 19:48Speaker 6: on here, I handed her, So, what you have to
- 19:50Speaker 6: buy are these.
- 19:50Speaker 4: Little they're like what are they called them? Clatters? The
- 19:53Speaker 4: little square watters.
- 19:55Speaker 6: You just pull them out and just go like this,
- 19:57Speaker 6: and they're awesome and they'll just stuck up all the
- 19:59Speaker 6: oil I.
- 19:59Speaker 3: Need to get.
- 20:00Speaker 1: So Sophia when we went for the consultation, she had
- 20:03Speaker 1: talked about it for a little while. She felt like
- 20:05Speaker 1: she had her dad's nose. She does not have a
- 20:07Speaker 1: good relations She didn't speak to her dad in years.
- 20:09Speaker 1: And it was just like a constant reminder. It wasn't
- 20:12Speaker 1: a huge nose. It just had a bump and whatever.
- 20:15Speaker 1: And so I took her in and to doctor molds.
- 20:19Speaker 1: He's the one that did my brow lift and all that.
- 20:21Speaker 2: And he when he said, you sat down.
- 20:25Speaker 3: Dude, he read me to filth. He was like, you
- 20:28Speaker 3: have thick skin, big pores, a big.
- 20:32Speaker 4: We all say, what the heck?
- 20:34Speaker 1: Now they might well they he's putting her on a
- 20:38Speaker 1: very low dose of acutane starting next week, yep.
- 20:42Speaker 7: And it's that'll shrink her.
- 20:44Speaker 4: No, it'll totally make it heal faster.
- 20:46Speaker 6: She would not go on it because as you can see,
- 20:48Speaker 6: she loves the sun. And yeah, and the difference is
- 20:52Speaker 6: when you live in Jersey in June, July and August,
- 20:56Speaker 6: you can't have anyone tell you that you can't go
- 20:58Speaker 6: near the sun because it's a major problem for us.
- 21:01Speaker 4: So we don't see sunshine.
- 21:03Speaker 6: It's till June, July and August, right right, So for
- 21:06Speaker 6: us it's like, especially the young girls, all they want
- 21:09Speaker 6: to do is like be in the sun for those
- 21:10Speaker 6: three months.
- 21:11Speaker 2: So I've never even heard of this though.
- 21:13Speaker 4: This is the newest thing.
- 21:14Speaker 6: You go on acutane, it literally heals you ten times
- 21:17Speaker 6: faster and shrinks all the swelling.
- 21:19Speaker 4: You're going, it's gonna She didn't do it, but she
- 21:21Speaker 4: should have.
- 21:22Speaker 1: And it's like it's such a small amount. It's like
- 21:25Speaker 1: five milligrams versus.
- 21:27Speaker 3: Like it's like nothing, a quarter of what they usually
- 21:30Speaker 3: give you.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Yeah, because I'm like, well, we're going to Italy, she
- 21:34Speaker 1: might want to have like wine and stuff with dinner.
- 21:36Speaker 3: And also we're going to be under the sun a lot,
- 21:38Speaker 3: and well.
- 21:38Speaker 2: You're gonna have to be having a big hat.
- 21:40Speaker 1: But and I'm like, so does she have to start?
- 21:43Speaker 1: Like can she start when she gets back? They're like, nope,
- 21:45Speaker 1: at four weeks she needs to start.
- 21:47Speaker 4: Yeah, see, I know, refuse.
- 21:49Speaker 6: We were going back and forth, back and forth, and
- 21:51Speaker 6: finally we decided no because she already has like her
- 21:54Speaker 6: skin always drives her nuts, so we didn't want to
- 21:56Speaker 6: like add on to it at all.
- 21:58Speaker 5: So yeah, it didn't need any purging. And I'm also
- 22:00Speaker 5: turning twenty one, and you can't drink on it.
- 22:02Speaker 3: I don't, right, Yeah, that's what I also said. That's
- 22:06Speaker 3: the same thing.
- 22:07Speaker 1: But by the way, Melissa, he also told me it's
- 22:10Speaker 1: anti aging. He says him himself goes on it once
- 22:15Speaker 1: a year for a couple of months, very low dose,
- 22:18Speaker 1: shrinks your pores, does all the things.
- 22:21Speaker 2: So I'm like, oh, that sounds amazing.
- 22:24Speaker 6: Maybe detox don't drink for that six months or whatever
- 22:28Speaker 6: it is.
- 22:28Speaker 3: And yeah, I know if like the drinking thing, it's
- 22:32Speaker 3: if you're on a super low dose, it's honestly fine
- 22:34Speaker 3: from what I've read.
- 22:35Speaker 2: So you've googled it. I have googled at it or
- 22:37Speaker 2: whatever you guys did.
- 22:39Speaker 3: But if it's like everything, if it's like a low dose,
- 22:42Speaker 3: like you can drink, it's just if you're on like
- 22:44Speaker 3: a full dose, where like people are on it for
- 22:46Speaker 3: like acne or whatever, it's way bigger dose. So then
- 22:49Speaker 3: that that messages with your liver or whatever.
- 22:51Speaker 4: But yeah, do you feel swollen? It's hard to see
- 22:54Speaker 4: through that.
- 22:54Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I do. You're swollen, Yeah, especially in the tip,
- 22:58Speaker 3: Like I know that's like the last part to but
- 23:00Speaker 3: it feels a little bit.
- 23:02Speaker 6: You're literally exactly what she was saying a month ago,
- 23:05Speaker 6: because you're probably a month ahead of her.
- 23:07Speaker 1: So yeah, her first how was your recovery? Like the
- 23:10Speaker 1: first week? So Sofia stayed She has got her own apartment,
- 23:12Speaker 1: but she stayed with me. The first week.
- 23:16Speaker 3: Oh that was like hell, I don't know about you,
- 23:18Speaker 3: but it was like actual hell.
- 23:20Speaker 4: Yeah the first week.
- 23:21Speaker 5: I mean it wasn't as bad as everyone was making
- 23:25Speaker 5: it out to me. But I think the fourth day,
- 23:28Speaker 5: I thought I was going to see the light, Like
- 23:30Speaker 5: I'm serious. I was like, oh my god, I wasn't
- 23:35Speaker 5: so much pressure. I feel like I'm here, and I
- 23:38Speaker 5: felt like it was swelling like every second and like
- 23:42Speaker 5: it was pulsing the headache.
- 23:45Speaker 6: She's like so good with it though she puts that
- 23:47Speaker 6: tape on. It's still like every single night she puts
- 23:50Speaker 6: that tape on and like she goes to sleep with
- 23:53Speaker 6: it here here here, like do you do? I did
- 23:55Speaker 6: not think she's doing. She's such a good patient, and
- 23:58Speaker 6: I'm like jealous of her. I'm like, mine's not as
- 24:01Speaker 6: small as we called adaptor because she has her like
- 24:05Speaker 6: her final checkup, and I was like, why is her
- 24:08Speaker 6: so small? Like what I was, I'm jealous. Her nose
- 24:11Speaker 6: is like perfect, So.
- 24:13Speaker 2: You so is that what the tape's from.
- 24:15Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, i'd always found like three weeks ago, you know,
- 24:18Speaker 3: I tape it every single night. Still. I one night
- 24:20Speaker 3: I forgot to tape and I could notice the difference,
- 24:23Speaker 3: Like I wake up and it was like way more swollen.
- 24:25Speaker 3: So ever since then, I've been like super crazy about
- 24:28Speaker 3: the taping. I do not forget. But the the healing process, dude,
- 24:32Speaker 3: like especially having the splints in your nose.
- 24:36Speaker 7: I have those, you didn't.
- 24:39Speaker 3: So they put like giant splints up my nose and
- 24:42Speaker 3: I couldn't breathe through my nose for the first week,
- 24:44Speaker 3: and it was gnarly.
- 24:46Speaker 2: It was she was having an anxiety attack.
- 24:47Speaker 3: I was on panic attacks like constantly, and it was miserable.
- 24:51Speaker 1: She would like wake up and feel like she couldn't
- 24:53Speaker 1: breathe because she could only mouth breathe, and then when
- 24:56Speaker 1: she ate, she felt.
- 24:57Speaker 3: Like She's like I I literally could can't like eat
- 25:01Speaker 3: for the first week. I could barely eat.
- 25:02Speaker 7: I lost like five pounds lost.
- 25:05Speaker 2: You lost weight.
- 25:06Speaker 4: I could tell me, aren't you guys happy? It's over?
- 25:08Speaker 4: You're free, done, that's done and done. Yeah, but again,
- 25:13Speaker 4: the mouth rereading is like also like torture.
- 25:16Speaker 1: I hate to break it to you, girls, but your
- 25:18Speaker 1: nose is one thing that continues to grow the rest
- 25:20Speaker 1: of your life.
- 25:20Speaker 3: It's okay.
- 25:21Speaker 1: I've made peace with it because I had mine done
- 25:23Speaker 1: too in my early twenties, and I'm like, it looks bigger.
- 25:27Speaker 4: Yeah it's not. Yours looks good, but so has your
- 25:32Speaker 4: nose in your ears? Girls. Yeah, grow, they grow your
- 25:34Speaker 4: whole entire life, so enjoy.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Yeah, it's true, and your boobs if you're lucky.
- 25:39Speaker 4: Yeah, that she doesn't want to grow is not.
- 25:44Speaker 7: Oh, I can't do it anymore.
- 25:46Speaker 2: That's how I was, Jean.
- 25:49Speaker 4: I can totally really nanny for my mother, not for me.
- 25:53Speaker 4: She didn't get those from me.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Well you got yours from your dad's side of the thing.
- 25:56Speaker 3: I'm not complaining. Now I'm seeing all these like tiktoks
- 25:59Speaker 3: people being like the Ballerina Breuston plan.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Have you heard about that?
- 26:03Speaker 4: No? What is that?
- 26:04Speaker 3: The people want small boobs now, and I'm like, my
- 26:07Speaker 3: time to shine.
- 26:09Speaker 4: I like small boobs. You wear the little.
- 26:11Speaker 6: Tank tops and it just shows, like you know, I'm
- 26:13Speaker 6: into that.
- 26:14Speaker 4: It has like the little nipple look.
- 26:16Speaker 3: Yeah, that I've never been insecure about that. Honestly, I'm
- 26:20Speaker 3: very happy.
- 26:21Speaker 4: But that's what's in right now. I feel like small
- 26:23Speaker 4: boobies are cheap. There's sheep.
- 26:26Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 26:27Speaker 2: I have the ones that like grow like hormonal, like
- 26:30Speaker 2: they grow that.
- 26:31Speaker 1: I've had like two reductions. Then I took them down
- 26:34Speaker 1: to like nothing. Then I had like implants put in,
- 26:36Speaker 1: and then I felt like they grew and then I
- 26:37Speaker 1: had them remove Like I've had a love.
- 26:40Speaker 2: Hate relationship gone through a lot, I've gone to lot.
- 26:42Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, Now did you think at any point you
- 26:47Speaker 1: and Joe like, Okay, if I let her do this
- 26:50Speaker 1: at twenty, are we creating a monster?
- 26:52Speaker 2: Is it gonna be something sunvery? Is this slippery slope?
- 26:55Speaker 1: Because that's what Eddie's like, Well, she's gonna get this done,
- 26:58Speaker 1: and then she's gonna want boobs and then you know
- 27:00Speaker 1: she's gonna.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Do filler in her lips, and I'm like, it's not
- 27:02Speaker 2: her the thing at all.
- 27:05Speaker 5: No.
- 27:05Speaker 6: I feel like the nose was something that was always
- 27:08Speaker 6: really bothering her. And I just don't think she's the
- 27:11Speaker 6: time you know your kid, right, I know I don't.
- 27:14Speaker 6: I'm not going to say she's never one day going
- 27:16Speaker 6: to say like mom, now I would like something else,
- 27:18Speaker 6: or I want to lit filler, I.
- 27:20Speaker 4: Want to do booze.
- 27:21Speaker 7: Who knows, right.
- 27:22Speaker 4: I feel like she's not one to be like I
- 27:25Speaker 4: don't think she'll be.
- 27:26Speaker 7: She'll go not that type.
- 27:28Speaker 4: I like to look as natural as pot make.
- 27:32Speaker 8: I'm not even worrying any right now, like she does
- 27:35Speaker 8: not give a ship.
- 27:37Speaker 7: I feel like I look better natural than.
- 27:39Speaker 3: I completely get you. I feel like you also agree,
- 27:43Speaker 3: like I am not a person who wants the big blips,
- 27:46Speaker 3: the big tits, like everything.
- 27:48Speaker 4: Completely tits and lips.
- 27:50Speaker 1: I mean, she she decided last year that she was
- 27:53Speaker 1: going to cut her hair in a pixie cut and
- 27:56Speaker 1: then diet brown.
- 27:58Speaker 2: Dark brown, almost black, and I almost wasn't almost black,
- 28:02Speaker 2: it was it was dark.
- 28:04Speaker 7: He cried.
- 28:04Speaker 4: I cried, Oh my god.
- 28:06Speaker 3: I told her to meet up the mall and she
- 28:08Speaker 3: was like, you.
- 28:09Speaker 1: Know, she was doing she's like made at Northes from
- 28:11Speaker 1: cafe and she walks in and I'm.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Like, who the hell is that?
- 28:16Speaker 4: You actually did it herself?
- 28:19Speaker 2: Oh wow, she did herself.
- 28:21Speaker 4: She's good traded hairdresser. Are you like good with hair color?
- 28:24Speaker 3: I yeah, I've been doing my hair since like high school,
- 28:27Speaker 3: like middle of high school, maybe middle school.
- 28:30Speaker 2: She's very artsy.
- 28:31Speaker 3: So I just cut it all off. I wanted to
- 28:33Speaker 3: Pixicut and my hair was so dead, like it definitely
- 28:36Speaker 3: needed and I had like really long bleached blonde hair,
- 28:39Speaker 3: like super bleached, and it was just so dead.
- 28:41Speaker 1: So she had died in pink and green and all
- 28:43Speaker 1: these colors and all this stripping. So now she's letting
- 28:46Speaker 1: it like grow out and everything, and I'm.
- 28:48Speaker 2: Like, do you want to get an extensions?
- 28:51Speaker 4: She's more artsy.
- 28:52Speaker 6: You have that artsy vibe, like you like a California
- 28:55Speaker 6: girl artsy.
- 28:57Speaker 4: That's cool that Like you're unique. I like that snyle.
- 29:01Speaker 4: You have your own style.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:03Speaker 1: So let's talk about your dad a little bit, because
- 29:05Speaker 1: I love your dad.
- 29:07Speaker 2: Joe is basically the ultimate girl dad.
- 29:09Speaker 3: He really is.
- 29:11Speaker 1: What's the best, like dating advice he's given you?
- 29:15Speaker 5: Uh, there's no dating advice. There's no boys at all there.
- 29:20Speaker 5: I have a Boyfribody's you know. He doesn't give me
- 29:22Speaker 5: any advice. He just he likes your boyfriend.
- 29:25Speaker 7: Yeah he does.
- 29:25Speaker 2: So how long have you had your boyfriend?
- 29:28Speaker 4: A year?
- 29:29Speaker 3: Oh?
- 29:30Speaker 4: No, way, me too?
- 29:31Speaker 6: Talking about this, By the way, I can't get her
- 29:34Speaker 6: to say this on the show.
- 29:36Speaker 4: She won't talk about her boyfriend. She wouldn't have him
- 29:38Speaker 4: come over on the show.
- 29:39Speaker 6: I was like, yeah he's here that she wouldn't allow
- 29:42Speaker 6: him on the Real Housewives of New Jersey.
- 29:44Speaker 4: But she's I'm glad she's talking.
- 29:45Speaker 3: Is protective.
- 29:47Speaker 4: I have one that he's been around for a year.
- 29:51Speaker 4: Keeping he looks like a mini Joe. It is so funny.
- 29:55Speaker 1: Okay, okay, So Sophia has a boyfriend named Nico.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Don't you have a Nico?
- 30:01Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 30:02Speaker 3: I saw that right now.
- 30:04Speaker 1: Yes, and he he's Mexican like Eddie.
- 30:08Speaker 2: His family's frown Battalahara like Eddie.
- 30:10Speaker 1: He grew up forty five minutes from where we live now,
- 30:13Speaker 1: in the same town Eddie grew up in.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Like, I'm like, wow, it was an accident.
- 30:19Speaker 3: I didn't know all this.
- 30:21Speaker 6: See she's a good man, and then that's just what happens.
- 30:26Speaker 3: Yeah, right, But it's very sweet because they're like best friends,
- 30:30Speaker 3: Adie and Nico.
- 30:30Speaker 1: They get along very well. Yeah, the two of them
- 30:33Speaker 1: are going to go to Italy with us, so we're
- 30:36Speaker 1: super excited about that.
- 30:38Speaker 4: More of you guys are going just the four. Oh yeah,
- 30:40Speaker 4: I love that. That is so nice.
- 30:43Speaker 1: My other two boys they couldn't get off work, and
- 30:45Speaker 1: I'm like, we'll go for like a Cabo weekend or something,
- 30:48Speaker 1: and my one son's like, nope, and only I don't
- 30:51Speaker 1: vacation my gosh.
- 30:53Speaker 3: Okay, well, his cats, he takes care of his cat.
- 30:57Speaker 4: Yeah, don't cats, Like are they like? What do you
- 31:00Speaker 4: do with cat? Don't you just give them a lot
- 31:02Speaker 4: of in the litter box. I have no cats, so
- 31:04Speaker 4: no judgments.
- 31:05Speaker 3: I have a cat.
- 31:06Speaker 4: I just usually leave them home alone.
- 31:08Speaker 2: I thought, yeah, not for a week, not for a week.
- 31:11Speaker 3: I have like my brother check on my cat if
- 31:13Speaker 3: I'm gone for a long time. But if it's like
- 31:14Speaker 3: a weekend, they're usually fine. I have like an automatic feeder,
- 31:18Speaker 3: so my cat's usually fine.
- 31:20Speaker 6: They're not like dogs, like you can't leave my dog
- 31:22Speaker 6: alone for more than Yeah, tops, and that's it lower maintenance.
- 31:26Speaker 2: Yeah, but yeah, let's let's go back to your dad.
- 31:29Speaker 3: Yeah, let's talk about your dad.
- 31:30Speaker 4: We went off.
- 31:31Speaker 3: Does your dad do anything that embarrasses you?
- 31:34Speaker 7: Oh? All the time?
- 31:36Speaker 4: She uses them all day for tiktoks, Like I don't
- 31:40Speaker 4: use him. He wants to be in all her tiktoks.
- 31:42Speaker 7: Yeah he does.
- 31:43Speaker 5: But I also make him do a lot of like
- 31:45Speaker 5: funny ones because everyone, I feel like everyone loves when
- 31:48Speaker 5: he does like silly stuff.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Well, I just saw him swinging and calling himself Tarzan
- 31:54Speaker 1: on Instagram.
- 31:55Speaker 4: You don't know.
- 31:55Speaker 6: We almost freaked out because he looked like he was
- 31:57Speaker 6: gonna fall off the edge and like he we told
- 32:00Speaker 6: the guy said to him, don't swing on it, just
- 32:03Speaker 6: take a photo with it.
- 32:04Speaker 4: Because we don't know it might be and.
- 32:06Speaker 6: He went swinging on it and I'm like Jesus Lord Joe,
- 32:09Speaker 6: like yeah, like crazy, But no, she loves making TikTok.
- 32:14Speaker 4: So he's a good girl dad. Like he does all
- 32:16Speaker 4: the things. If she says, put.
- 32:18Speaker 6: This lipstick on, put my pajamas on, We're going to
- 32:21Speaker 6: make a TikTok.
- 32:22Speaker 5: He does it right away, and he thinks other things
- 32:25Speaker 5: to do during the video to make it funnier, Like
- 32:28Speaker 5: he does all the ideas, Like I'll tell him something.
- 32:31Speaker 4: He's like, all right, let's do this this and this
- 32:32Speaker 4: and this and it'll be funnier.
- 32:33Speaker 3: I'm like, oh my god, yeah no, but that's such
- 32:36Speaker 3: a blessing though, honestly, to have a father like that,
- 32:39Speaker 3: like that's very very sweet. Yeah, I love it.
- 32:41Speaker 6: They have an awesome relationship like he this is like
- 32:44Speaker 6: his I mean, he's obsessed with her.
- 32:49Speaker 3: Girl.
- 32:50Speaker 1: How do you feel when your parents do some of
- 32:52Speaker 1: those like you know, kind of steamy scenes and.
- 32:55Speaker 4: Oh, like they just posted like two days ago.
- 32:58Speaker 2: Oh what was it? Do?
- 32:59Speaker 4: Tell? Oh they're dancing at the bar together. But like
- 33:03Speaker 4: we were on vacation.
- 33:05Speaker 5: You know, I can't even watch, Like I can't yet.
- 33:09Speaker 4: And was like, ew, like, what is this?
- 33:13Speaker 6: We were just a little tipsy, we were on vacation
- 33:15Speaker 6: or late went off. Sorry, we were tipsy. We were
- 33:18Speaker 6: on vacation and and we I don't know, I just
- 33:22Speaker 6: jot posted it. He's always the one that posts.
- 33:24Speaker 7: I'm like, I can't I've commented. I'm gagging.
- 33:29Speaker 4: Oh my god, are we embarrassing?
- 33:30Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 33:31Speaker 4: You guys fun stuff like no need like we're fun.
- 33:34Speaker 1: But don't you think like growing up seeing your parents
- 33:37Speaker 1: affectionate like Sophia grew. I mean, I divorced her father
- 33:40Speaker 1: when she was only four, but there was like a
- 33:41Speaker 1: lot of fighting in the house. Don't you think like
- 33:44Speaker 1: having parents that are affectionate, like it helps.
- 33:46Speaker 3: You, like, you know, have to help expectation up for
- 33:50Speaker 3: good relationship with your boyfriend.
- 33:52Speaker 2: Definitely not that you guys touch at all. I guess
- 33:55Speaker 2: she's listening.
- 33:56Speaker 9: Never ever, right, maybe six feet apart for five sweetie.
- 34:10Speaker 2: You're in college right now, Delaware. What's next?
- 34:15Speaker 5: Well, I have one more year and then I'm going
- 34:17Speaker 5: to graduate and hopefully open up a business of some
- 34:20Speaker 5: sore I don't know what, yeah, but hopefully something cool.
- 34:24Speaker 3: You want to be an entrepreneur, like your mom. Yeah, awesome.
- 34:27Speaker 6: I always ask her what she wants to do, and
- 34:29Speaker 6: she always just says, I'm going to open a business.
- 34:30Speaker 4: So I don't know what business she's going to open,
- 34:33Speaker 4: but she wants to.
- 34:34Speaker 2: She love it out.
- 34:35Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Now do you think you'll move back to Jersey?
- 34:40Speaker 5: Oh?
- 34:40Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah for sure?
- 34:42Speaker 3: Is that the plan?
- 34:43Speaker 5: Oh? Yeah?
- 34:43Speaker 6: She hates being even away, Like sometimes she just surprises
- 34:46Speaker 6: us and she walks, it's only two and a half
- 34:48Speaker 6: hours away, is it about?
- 34:49Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 34:50Speaker 6: And on Sundays she gets jealous, like when we're watching
- 34:52Speaker 6: the football games and I'm like making pasta and it's
- 34:55Speaker 6: like typical like Italian Sunday football day over here, she
- 34:59Speaker 6: just pops in. Sometimes it's like I was hungry and
- 35:02Speaker 6: she just like surprises us.
- 35:04Speaker 4: I think I'm more home during the weekends than at school.
- 35:08Speaker 2: Oh so you're not that far.
- 35:10Speaker 4: No, you shouldn't be home. It's like I am a
- 35:13Speaker 4: little far.
- 35:14Speaker 2: How far? Tell me how far? Like how long does
- 35:16Speaker 2: it take two and a half hours? Wow, that ain't
- 35:19Speaker 2: that bad.
- 35:20Speaker 3: A little bit of a drive.
- 35:21Speaker 4: Like if I leave a ten of me.
- 35:23Speaker 6: Home out like like once a month, really I would say,
- 35:27Speaker 6: like once a month?
- 35:28Speaker 7: No, are you joking?
- 35:30Speaker 4: All right, I don't know. Really, it's only once a month. No,
- 35:34Speaker 4: it's last semester, I.
- 35:35Speaker 7: Was home like eight times. That's not I don't think.
- 35:40Speaker 1: What's what's the biggest lesson you've learned from watching your
- 35:43Speaker 1: mom work?
- 35:45Speaker 2: Because she's a hustler.
- 35:48Speaker 4: Hmmm, make her say something nice about my hammer?
- 35:53Speaker 2: Yeah, you do watch me work?
- 35:57Speaker 4: Yeah, I do.
- 35:58Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 35:59Speaker 4: She's she is a hustler, of which I want to be.
- 36:02Speaker 5: She's very on top of her stuff and she always
- 36:04Speaker 5: knows exactly what to do so hopefully.
- 36:06Speaker 1: So it's like her drive. You watch her drive, her
- 36:08Speaker 1: motivation things like that.
- 36:10Speaker 6: Yeah, and sometimes she probably gets like annoyed with me too,
- 36:13Speaker 6: because it's always something always and sometimes she probably I
- 36:18Speaker 6: do feel bad, Like sometimes she probably wants, you know,
- 36:21Speaker 6: a little bit more regular where it's like I don't
- 36:24Speaker 6: have anything to do at three o'clock and I don't
- 36:25Speaker 6: have to jump on a podcast, or I don't have
- 36:27Speaker 6: to do.
- 36:27Speaker 4: Hair and make up to an event, you know, I
- 36:29Speaker 4: always have.
- 36:30Speaker 6: I try to keep like a balance of both in
- 36:32Speaker 6: my house because I don't like that either.
- 36:35Speaker 4: I want to have memories of my kids, you know,
- 36:37Speaker 4: and of.
- 36:38Speaker 6: Like doing dinners at home and just sitting around on
- 36:41Speaker 6: the couch at night and like not always having to
- 36:44Speaker 6: work or be somewhere. But unfortunately, and fortunately, I'm always
- 36:49Speaker 6: very busy, and I know she sees that the most
- 36:52Speaker 6: more than her brothers do, because you know, she's with
- 36:55Speaker 6: me the most. And I feel like when, like when
- 36:58Speaker 6: we did Wife Swap, I was away, she was in
- 37:01Speaker 6: the house.
- 37:02Speaker 2: I was dying.
- 37:03Speaker 4: Watching that episode because she was a mini med.
- 37:05Speaker 6: The way she walked around this house and cleaned the
- 37:07Speaker 6: house and kind of like took my role. Is how
- 37:11Speaker 6: I knew she's gonna be okay in life. I was like, Oh,
- 37:12Speaker 6: she's watching She's good, you know.
- 37:14Speaker 3: So Yeah, I feel like you guys, you guys relationship
- 37:18Speaker 3: is very similar to me and my moms. It sounds
- 37:20Speaker 3: very similar.
- 37:21Speaker 4: Yeah, not that, Wait you should do Wife Swap?
- 37:24Speaker 2: No, thank you. No, not enough money in the world.
- 37:27Speaker 3: I couldn't imagine you're doing that.
- 37:29Speaker 2: Not enough money in the world. I Am not going
- 37:31Speaker 2: to go stay at somebody's house that I don't know.
- 37:32Speaker 2: He actually still did they have a new one. It's
- 37:35Speaker 2: like housewife addition they do.
- 37:37Speaker 6: They just filmed a whole nother round of housewives just recently.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Yeah, somebody on my house did it a couple months ago. Well,
- 37:45Speaker 1: let's play a little game before we close out mother
- 37:47Speaker 1: daughter game. I'm going to ask you who apologizes first? Me,
- 37:54Speaker 1: who's more stubborn, who gives better advice?
- 38:01Speaker 3: Who's funnier? I?
- 38:04Speaker 4: No, I'm the fiest person in this half. No, you're not.
- 38:08Speaker 2: Who's more emotional?
- 38:10Speaker 4: Me? Her?
- 38:12Speaker 3: Yeah, what's one thing your mom does that drives you crazy?
- 38:17Speaker 5: Oh my god, she just tells me to do things
- 38:19Speaker 5: all day. And she also can't hear, like I have
- 38:21Speaker 5: to say things over and.
- 38:22Speaker 3: Over and that is quite I'm losing my hearing.
- 38:25Speaker 2: What's one thing, uh, Antonio does the drives you crazy?
- 38:32Speaker 4: Snippy? Snippy? Like I ask a simple, regular question just
- 38:37Speaker 4: like she's like. I'm like, well, because she knows the
- 38:40Speaker 4: answer already.
- 38:42Speaker 6: The other thing I can't stand is because she'll say
- 38:45Speaker 6: something but she like mumbles it and I'm like, what,
- 38:47Speaker 6: I didn't hear you. She'll say it again and I'm
- 38:53Speaker 6: like I still didn't. I got one more time, and
- 38:56Speaker 6: then she like loses it, like just listen the first.
- 39:00Speaker 4: Like she's she's mumbling and I need to hear that precise.
- 39:03Speaker 3: Yeah, what's something you've never told each other that you
- 39:06Speaker 3: admire about each other.
- 39:08Speaker 5: Oh god, okay, Okay, I know something I admire about you.
- 39:15Speaker 4: I do admire.
- 39:17Speaker 6: I really love how you speak, like publicly, like how
- 39:21Speaker 6: you speak when you're referencing your family, and just I'm
- 39:24Speaker 6: proud of how you speak out loud and just the
- 39:27Speaker 6: head on your shoulders.
- 39:28Speaker 4: Does that make sense? Like mm hmm, I love I do.
- 39:31Speaker 6: I I when she speaks and I hear her speak,
- 39:33Speaker 6: and certain is whether either just be on our TikTok
- 39:36Speaker 6: or to people that we meet in person.
- 39:39Speaker 4: I like the way she has manners and like speaks
- 39:41Speaker 4: to people. So h that is what I love about you.
- 39:45Speaker 4: Your turn.
- 39:48Speaker 7: This is hard for me. I'm not a mushy, mushy person.
- 39:50Speaker 8: I get like she's the most unmushy person, gets so weird,
- 39:54Speaker 8: Like she's that girl on Instagram that like runs from
- 39:57Speaker 8: the family when they try to hugger.
- 39:58Speaker 4: You never see those tiktoks. Yeah that's her, So go ahead, sweet,
- 40:02Speaker 4: it'd be smushy.
- 40:06Speaker 5: I admire like how you're like a super mom and
- 40:09Speaker 5: could do everything work and take care of us.
- 40:12Speaker 4: Wow, that's sweet. Thank you.
- 40:16Speaker 2: Okay, we have a few rapid.
- 40:17Speaker 1: Fire questions Okay, so just complete these sentences.
- 40:21Speaker 2: My mom's favorite phrase is.
- 40:28Speaker 9: I don't know clean your room, all right.
- 40:32Speaker 3: My mom's obsessed with.
- 40:35Speaker 7: My dad.
- 40:38Speaker 3: That's sweet.
- 40:39Speaker 1: My mom's biggest biggest pet peeve is messy house.
- 40:44Speaker 3: My mom's guilty pleasure is.
- 40:48Speaker 4: Cool I watch it all the time. I don't know,
- 40:52Speaker 4: yes she do?
- 40:53Speaker 6: What?
- 40:54Speaker 4: Like? What show do I have on? Every time you
- 40:56Speaker 4: come in?
- 40:56Speaker 1: Like, I've been.
- 40:57Speaker 6: Watching it at the same show for years and I
- 40:58Speaker 6: just rewatch it?
- 41:01Speaker 7: Hows me?
- 41:02Speaker 4: No, I don't know Gray's anatomy he does?
- 41:06Speaker 7: Like that.
- 41:06Speaker 4: That's my guilty pleasure.
- 41:07Speaker 7: I rewatch it.
- 41:08Speaker 2: From you do? Oh my god.
- 41:10Speaker 4: I used to watch it one episode one and I
- 41:13Speaker 4: cry every time I watch it.
- 41:14Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 41:15Speaker 1: My mom spends way too much money on what bags?
- 41:20Speaker 4: Clue.
- 41:20Speaker 3: I don't blame her. My mom's biggest fear is.
- 41:25Speaker 4: Like, what little I freak about my dad? Leave me?
- 41:30Speaker 6: Oh my god, infected her life with my marriage here,
- 41:34Speaker 6: I'm believable.
- 41:37Speaker 4: I mean, really, it's because you're dead, all right? Well,
- 41:42Speaker 4: you know what, You'll learn more about that in the news.
- 41:45Speaker 5: And forgot no one really knows.
- 41:49Speaker 2: The funniest thing my mom does is.
- 41:53Speaker 5: Dance to Michael Jackson and talk to herself too all
- 41:56Speaker 5: the time, all day.
- 41:57Speaker 3: Long, all days.
- 41:59Speaker 5: It just has called conversations and to herself all day long,
- 42:03Speaker 5: like especially to.
- 42:04Speaker 2: Michael Johnson, like on display on.
- 42:07Speaker 4: Michael Jackson Only Dirty Diana.
- 42:10Speaker 6: Yeah, sure, I play Michael Jackson all nobody. One thing
- 42:15Speaker 6: people might not know about me is I'm a massive
- 42:18Speaker 6: Michael Jackson fan.
- 42:19Speaker 3: Did you like the movie?
- 42:20Speaker 4: I don't care what anyone says. I will defend him.
- 42:22Speaker 4: I love him and that's that. And I watched the
- 42:26Speaker 4: movie four times.
- 42:28Speaker 3: Oh I saw it three times. I think I've seen
- 42:30Speaker 3: that twice.
- 42:31Speaker 9: It was so good.
- 42:32Speaker 6: I went to the Broadway show four times. I have
- 42:35Speaker 6: an obsession.
- 42:36Speaker 3: Then I admit it, there's a Broadway show.
- 42:38Speaker 2: No, we need to do that.
- 42:39Speaker 3: Yeah, definitely. If my mom wasn't on Housewives, she'd be.
- 42:46Speaker 7: A teacher.
- 42:47Speaker 2: Oh did you want to be a teacher teaching?
- 42:50Speaker 5: What?
- 42:50Speaker 6: I graduated college in elementary education to be a teacher.
- 42:54Speaker 6: Oh yeah, I'm a certified elementary school teacher.
- 42:57Speaker 3: No way, that's so sweet.
- 42:59Speaker 2: Yes, Okay.
- 43:00Speaker 1: In closing, we just want some heartfelt just bites here.
- 43:05Speaker 1: What's one thing you hope never changes about your guys' relationship.
- 43:13Speaker 4: Do you want to? I feel like we're very honest
- 43:15Speaker 4: with each other. Yeah, sometimes probably too honest.
- 43:17Speaker 6: We should probably soften, but that's how I grew up
- 43:20Speaker 6: with like my sisters and my mother being very honest.
- 43:23Speaker 4: So we're honest. So let's just keep being honest.
- 43:26Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, good one. What's something your mom did that
- 43:29Speaker 3: you didn't appreciate until you got older?
- 43:34Speaker 4: I love this podcast. God.
- 43:41Speaker 5: She always tell me like to always like look presentable
- 43:44Speaker 5: and like like be the best version of myself always.
- 43:48Speaker 5: So now I was like, why do I always have
- 43:50Speaker 5: to look nice and be perfect?
- 43:53Speaker 7: But like it's true, so not.
- 43:55Speaker 6: Perfect, but like she would she she didn't appreciate like
- 43:58Speaker 6: just getting yourself to Yeah.
- 44:01Speaker 1: You know, well nowadays, like kids are wearing pajamas out places.
- 44:06Speaker 3: There's beauty in the ritual of getting ready, Like it
- 44:08Speaker 3: feels good like mentally.
- 44:11Speaker 4: Yes, I like how you said that. That's so true, Sophia.
- 44:13Speaker 1: Yeah, Melissa, what are you most proud of when you
- 44:17Speaker 1: look at your daughter?
- 44:20Speaker 4: I would say that she's very kind hearted. She is.
- 44:23Speaker 6: She's a very kind hearted person. She's zero drama and
- 44:27Speaker 6: I love that about her, no matter if it's her
- 44:29Speaker 6: friends having drama. Her girlfriend's having drama, family drama. She
- 44:35Speaker 6: is very fair and level headed, and I would say
- 44:38Speaker 6: that's her best quality.
- 44:40Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I love having polite kids.
- 44:45Speaker 3: Antonia. What was something your mom has taught you that
- 44:47Speaker 3: you carry into your own family one day?
- 44:54Speaker 7: Hmm? Oh my god?
- 44:58Speaker 4: What do I do here that you want to do
- 45:00Speaker 4: there wherever they're.
- 45:01Speaker 7: I don't know, be a super mom like her?
- 45:04Speaker 4: I'm a super mom. She said that twice a day,
- 45:06Speaker 4: and I'm gonna take it.
- 45:07Speaker 2: You're gonna need a cape.
- 45:10Speaker 1: Finally, what's one piece of advice you give you'd give
- 45:13Speaker 1: mothers and daughters trying to stay close as their kids
- 45:16Speaker 1: become adults.
- 45:18Speaker 6: Melissa, you know, I think it's to judge a little less.
- 45:24Speaker 4: I think, I, you know, instead of judging.
- 45:27Speaker 6: What she comes down the stairs in, or judging where
- 45:31Speaker 6: she's going or how many times if you know, whether
- 45:34Speaker 6: it be if she's gonna work out, what she's gonna eat,
- 45:37Speaker 6: what's gonna go on in her life, who she's dating,
- 45:39Speaker 6: who her friends are.
- 45:40Speaker 4: I've learned that they don't want.
- 45:42Speaker 6: To be judged by us or like nitpick nitpick, That's
- 45:45Speaker 6: what I was looking.
- 45:46Speaker 5: That is the biggest thing I feel like because moms
- 45:48Speaker 5: are always like, do this, do this, do this.
- 45:50Speaker 6: I'm like, I'm a nitpicker because I'm a perfectionist. So
- 45:53Speaker 6: I have to learn not to do that as much
- 45:55Speaker 6: with my kids. Yea, even though they love us, they.
- 45:58Speaker 4: Don't want to be nitpicked and I'm nitpicker. I do
- 46:00Speaker 4: it with Joe, I do it with my boys, I
- 46:02Speaker 4: do it with everybody. It's just me.
- 46:04Speaker 3: I think it's a mom's job, though it comes from
- 46:06Speaker 3: a place of love, and I feel like when I
- 46:08Speaker 3: was in high school, it definitely was a lot like
- 46:11Speaker 3: I was going through my changes in my phases and
- 46:13Speaker 3: at the time I was like.
- 46:14Speaker 2: God, Mom, I know what I want.
- 46:16Speaker 3: And now, looking back, I do see your nit pickingness
- 46:20Speaker 3: as more of like a loving gesture because you just
- 46:22Speaker 3: wanted what was best for me.
- 46:23Speaker 1: Well, I still nitpick about the tattoos, Yes, you do,
- 46:25Speaker 1: but I think.
- 46:26Speaker 3: At the end of the day, you know your kid
- 46:28Speaker 3: is going to like end up in the place they
- 46:30Speaker 3: need to be.
- 46:31Speaker 1: Yes, yes, I know they have a good head on
- 46:33Speaker 1: your shoulders. As when my kids are growing up, I
- 46:36Speaker 1: always let them as long as they were good kids, polite,
- 46:39Speaker 1: got good grades. I didn't have really any problems with them,
- 46:44Speaker 1: you know, if you wanted to at a certain age,
- 46:46Speaker 1: if you wanted to bleach your hair, if you wanted
- 46:48Speaker 1: to experiment with different clothes or.
- 46:51Speaker 2: Knows, I did make up.
- 46:52Speaker 1: Oh yes, you were my one that was changing your
- 46:55Speaker 1: hair color all the time.
- 46:56Speaker 2: And but just let let them be themselves.
- 46:59Speaker 6: Right, It's hard to do that sometimes you want them
- 47:01Speaker 6: to be little mini versions of you.
- 47:03Speaker 4: But then as I got older, I realized, like.
- 47:05Speaker 6: No, she's not supposed to be a mini version of me, right,
- 47:08Speaker 6: whoever she is?
- 47:10Speaker 5: Right?
- 47:10Speaker 2: And Sophia had said that to me once.
- 47:12Speaker 1: She's like, I feel like you're not happy because I'm
- 47:14Speaker 1: not a mini version of you.
- 47:16Speaker 3: Yeah, right, and I'm not.
- 47:18Speaker 2: I let you do you hear's your nose? Your hair
- 47:21Speaker 2: was green like and I.
- 47:22Speaker 3: Think, ironically I have become kind of a mini version
- 47:25Speaker 3: of you in a lot of ways as well.
- 47:27Speaker 2: Ways my plan is working.
- 47:29Speaker 4: So you guys, you're doing a podcast again. I love this,
- 47:32Speaker 4: by the way, congratulations on thank you's. And Sophia, you've.

- 47:40Speaker 6: you speak so well too, like you really do.

- 47:44Speaker 4: Good luck to you guys, and it's awesome to see
- 47:46Speaker 4: you guys like this.

- 47:49Speaker 6: together and have conversations with other people.
- 47:51Speaker 4: It's really cute.
- 47:52Speaker 1: Thank you and thank you guys so much for coming
- 47:55Speaker 1: on and being our first.
- 47:56Speaker 2: Yes, yes, my daughter do bo.
- 48:00Speaker 4: Thank you guys so much. Later, Bye, guys.
- 48:05Speaker 1: I really enjoyed them. I thought that the just it.
- 48:08Speaker 2: Was so good.
- 48:09Speaker 3: I felt like we were looking at a reflection of
- 48:11Speaker 3: ourselves a little bit, yes, just the Italian version.
- 48:16Speaker 2: Well, thank you guys so much for tuning in. We
- 48:20Speaker 2: are just.
- 48:22Speaker 1: So happy the feedback that you've given us for this podcast.
- 48:25Speaker 1: Right now, we are just monthly, but we have a
- 48:28Speaker 1: lot of great ideas coming to.
- 48:29Speaker 3: So many ideas we're bursting out the same.
- 48:31Speaker 2: Yes, and make sure you tune into the Real Housewives
- 48:34Speaker 2: of Orange County.
- 48:35Speaker 3: Too, because it will tell me more of us, more
- 48:38Speaker 3: of you.
- 48:39Speaker 2: Yeah, people probably want to see less than me, but whatever.
- 48:42Speaker 2: Thank you guys, Thank you,
