Rays (S29) Game 87 - at Houston Astros (7/05/26)
The Rays (52-34, .605) win streak is over at nine games after a Saturday night, Independence Day loss, 10-8. Astros slugger Yordan Alvarez walked it off with a home run, his second of the game, in the bottom of the ninth. Junior Caminero homered and Drew Rasmussen allowed 5 earned runs, but did not get saddled with the loss. Both were named to the All-Star game next week and will be joined by Yandy Diaz, also making his second summer classic, and Bryan Baker, making his first All-Star team.
First pitch in the last road game before the All-Star break (with 8 more games to go, including today)…
