- Jackpots Combine for 459 Million! This is The Lottery Rundown for Saturday September 12th Mega Millions drew Friday night with 3, 30, 33, 53 and 62, plus Mega Ball 22. Nobody matched all six, sending the jackpot onward. Thirty repeated from Tuesday, having apparently signed a short-term lease. Three ranks among the five most-drawn white balls over the last six years, while Mega Ball 22 is one of the five most frequent gold balls in that span. Thirty-three, meanwhile, returned after 21 drawings away. Did you expect it to keep us waiting that long? Tuesday’s jackpot is estimated at 227 million dollars, with a cash value of 96 million 300 thousand dollars. The run now stands at 13 draws and 45 days, a fairly ordinary stretch by recent Mega Millions standards. Moving to Powerball, the last draw was Wednesday, September 9, with 9, 40, 42, 55 and 65, plus Powerball 23 and a 2X multiplier. No ticket matched all six. Forty had appeared one draw earlier, while 42 came back after 17 drawings away. Tonight’s jackpot is estimated at 232 million dollars, with a cash value of 98 million 600 thousand dollars. That could buy a lighthouse with a dedicated room for competitive jigsaw puzzles. The jackpot has rolled through 12 draws over 28 days, still a shorter-than-usual run rather than a marathon.
