- 0:00Speaker 1: Have you ever had an experience where you're like, oh
- 0:02Speaker 1: my gosh, that was such a small world.
- 0:04Speaker 2: They're like, what a coincidence.
- 0:06Speaker 3: How does that happen? It's a small world.
- 0:10Speaker 1: So people put out this wild story, and this girl,
- 0:14Speaker 1: her name was Samantha. She was adopted, and somehow over
- 0:17Speaker 1: the years, she had found out she had biological siblings
- 0:20Speaker 1: sort of out there. She ended up at a softball tournament,
- 0:24Speaker 1: and one of her teammates was like, isn't that so weird?
- 0:26Speaker 1: That girl on the other team looks exactly like you.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Looks exactly like you. Well, the family started talking. and
- 0:33Speaker 1: discovered that was her sister. Like that was her biological sister.
- 0:37Speaker 4: Not twins.
- 0:38Speaker 1: They just happened to be at the same softball tournament.
- 0:41Speaker 1: And they had like very eerie, like similar similarities. Like,
- 0:44Speaker 1: They had picked the same, they both played volleyball too
- 0:46Speaker 1: and they both had the same volleyball number that they.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Picked and like all these things. And they're like, small world,
- 0:51Speaker 2: like how does that happen? Like what a coincidence.
- 0:55Speaker 4: That's even smaller than a small world. I know, no, literally.
- 0:58Speaker 1: And it made me think like I, so when my
- 1:00Speaker 1: son went to like his baseball tryouts, I just, I
- 1:03Speaker 1: sat next to this family and we had got to
- 1:05Speaker 1: talking or whatever. And there's over a hundred kids at
- 1:08Speaker 1: this thing, right? And we're just talking to the dad
- 1:11Speaker 1: and then like turns out we're on the same team.
- 1:14Speaker 2: And I'm like, what are the chances? Like, we just,
- 1:17Speaker 2: we ended up sitting next to each other.
- 1:19Speaker 5: What a small world. My mom used to say, because
- 1:22Speaker 5: she's Mexican, fake accent, she could never pronounce the D
- 1:26Speaker 5: in the world.
- 1:27Speaker 2: She would always say, small world.
- 1:28Speaker 4: Small world.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Small world, isn't it? Small world.
- 1:32Speaker 5: I have a small world story. So I have a
- 1:34Speaker 5: friend of mine who's a basketball trainer. He trains Damian
- 1:39Speaker 5: Lillard of the Portland Trails Blazers. His name is Phil Beckner.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Beckner.
- 1:45Speaker 5: I have another guy I know who's a friend who
- 1:47Speaker 5: lives in Portland. His name is Phil Becker. Phil Becker,
- 1:52Speaker 5: Phil Becker. They've never met each other, but they've crossed
- 1:56Speaker 5: each other's paths because people get their names mixed up
- 1:57Speaker 5: all the time.
- 1:58Speaker 3: No way.
- 1:59Speaker 5: So I wanted, and Phil Becker, the radio guy, he's
- 2:04Speaker 5: very much an AI. And I had sent him a picture.
- 2:06Speaker 5: He asked me for some pictures of some AI stuff.
- 2:09Speaker 5: He goes, hey, do you have any pictures of you
- 2:11Speaker 5: and some celebrities in that I can AI and fix
- 2:13Speaker 5: for you and make him look cool.
- 2:14Speaker 2: I said, sure. So I sent a picture of me
- 2:15Speaker 2: and Bon Jovi and a picture of me and George Strait.
- 2:17Speaker 2: And he did it.
- 2:18Speaker 5: Well, I found a picture of me as a kid
- 2:20Speaker 5: and I thought, I wonder if he could fix that
- 2:22Speaker 5: for me. So I sent Phil Becker a picture of
- 2:25Speaker 5: me at SeaWorld.
- 2:26Speaker 2: With my dad. And my dad's grabbing my arm and
- 2:29Speaker 2: I'm in trouble. And I got it sent back to me.
- 2:32Speaker 2: And he goes, hey, what do you think? How's it look?
- 2:34Speaker 2: And I go, it looks great. Thank you. No problem.
- 2:36Speaker 2: I sent it to the wrong Phil. I sent it
- 2:39Speaker 2: to the basketball trainer Phil.
- 2:40Speaker 6: Oh.
- 2:40Speaker 2: And he just.
- 2:42Speaker 5: I thought I randomly texted that, and he had his
- 2:43Speaker 5: team do it for me and send it back.
- 2:45Speaker 4: He's got a team?
- 2:46Speaker 2: He's got a team. He's got a bunch of trainers
- 2:48Speaker 2: and production people.
- 2:49Speaker 5: And I was like, whoa, I sent the wrong video,
- 2:53Speaker 5: the wrong picture to the wrong Phil, but both Phils
- 2:57Speaker 5: worked it out.
- 2:58Speaker 4: So I introduced them.
- 3:00Speaker 2: So small world now.
- 3:02Speaker 4: Small world.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Phil Becker and Phil Beckner now know each other. Small world.
- 3:06Speaker 3: I have a small world that's actually kind of caused
- 3:09Speaker 3: some real disruptions in my life. Oh, no. As of lately.
- 3:13Speaker 3: So what was it? Just a couple months ago, Kadeem
- 3:15Speaker 3: and I had our wedding reception at our house. Kadeem,
- 3:19Speaker 3: he had just started this new job. So he had
- 3:22Speaker 3: hit it off with one of the guys that worked there,
- 3:24Speaker 3: invited him and his girlfriend. So halfway through the party,
- 3:27Speaker 3: I walk out. I introduce myself to them. And they're
- 3:30Speaker 3: telling me like, oh, we actually know Kadeem. Like, it's
- 3:32Speaker 3: really nice to meet you. But so wild because when
- 3:35Speaker 3: we got here, my cousins are here. And I was like, wait,
- 3:38Speaker 3: who are your cousins? So this girl, the guy's girlfriend
- 3:42Speaker 3: is cousins with one of our really good family friends.
- 3:45Speaker 3: And so now it's causing disruption in my life because
- 3:49Speaker 3: even though they're cousins, those cousins are fighting and I'm
- 3:51Speaker 3: hanging out with one of them. And the other cousin
- 3:53Speaker 3: that's the closest family friend is mad at me.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Small world.
- 3:57Speaker 4: Small world. You're going to love this. I've never set
- 4:01Speaker 4: up a relationship that's lasted. We know that, right?
- 4:03Speaker 6: Nobody's ever gotten married from my setups, but people still
- 4:06Speaker 6: ask me. So one of Stacy's friends asked me to
- 4:10Speaker 6: set her up on a date with one of my friends.
- 4:12Speaker 6: So I send the picture, and she's like, I had
- 4:15Speaker 6: a one-night stand with him. I already slept with that guy.
- 4:17Speaker 2: No way.
- 4:18Speaker 4: Small world. Small world.
- 4:21Speaker 2: It didn't work out. Small world. You win the small world.
- 4:26Speaker 4: Small world.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Small world. You ever met somebody like, oh, someone goes up.
- 4:32Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, man.
- 4:32Speaker 2: So you were traveling this summer?
- 4:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Where'd you go? I went to London. Oh, no way.
- 4:36Speaker 2: I was in Cancun. No, a small world.
- 4:38Speaker 3: What?
- 4:39Speaker 2: That's not a small world.
- 4:39Speaker 4: No, that's a big world. That's a different location.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Or you're like, oh, man, I'm a Yankees fan.
- 4:44Speaker 3: Oh, no way.
- 4:45Speaker 2: I'm an Indians fan. Oh, a small world. I've seen
- 4:49Speaker 2: that before where they bring out a.
- 4:51Speaker 4: And if you don't do small world.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Not really. No.
- 4:52Speaker 4: They'll be like, isn't that crazy? No, it's not crazy.
- 4:57Speaker 4: Not crazy.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Or when you're talking to somebody else, they'll be like, oh,
- 5:01Speaker 2: where are you from? Kansas City? Oh, yeah, yeah, I
- 5:03Speaker 2: know it. Of course.
- 5:05Speaker 4: Yeah, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Of course, yeah. All right. Anyway, small world.
