- 0:10Speaker 2: Our nuclear reactor pumping out one million kilowatts of power.
- 0:44Speaker 3: What's up? Welcome to Movie Meltdown. I am Brian.
- 0:54Speaker 2: This is Roger.
- 0:54Speaker 4: I'm Joni.
- 0:56Speaker 1: I am Misty.
- 0:57Speaker 3: You're far away. Now try.
- 0:59Speaker 5: Hello.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Hello.
- 1:01Speaker 4: Do I need to re-save my name?
- 1:02Speaker 3: I probably would.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Okay, I'm once again Misty.
- 1:08Speaker 3: Otherwise, they won't know you're there. Like Marlena, who was
- 1:12Speaker 3: here and then has wandered off.
- 1:13Speaker 4: She may or may not be returned from the Amish land.
- 1:16Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Who knows?
- 1:17Speaker 2: She's going to go pick somebody up who they don't
- 1:19Speaker 2: have a car?
- 1:20Speaker 3: I don't know. If she wants to tell that story,
- 1:23Speaker 3: she can when she gets back. Because I don't even
- 1:26Speaker 3: want to address one of her stories. You know how
- 1:28Speaker 3: that goes.
- 1:29Speaker 4: I'm still blaming the Amish.
- 1:31Speaker 3: That's always a pretty good bet, actually.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Stubby-legged, hairless cat got hip-hop us.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Stubby-legged cat.
- 1:37Speaker 2: A conglomeration of stories.
- 1:40Speaker 3: And then when it flew off, it hit a homeless man.
- 1:43Speaker 3: There you go.
- 1:45Speaker 1: It's a funny story.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Got caught in the tire and was like.
- 1:52Speaker 4: Yep.
- 1:53Speaker 3: I'm sure we'll hear that eventually. Alright, should we move
- 1:55Speaker 3: on into this week's geek activity? Let's do it. As
- 2:01Speaker 3: for mine, I've got one good, one bad, and then
- 2:05Speaker 3: a mixture of stuff I was only half-paying attention to. So,
- 2:08Speaker 3: the good one I'm actually not going to go into,
- 2:11Speaker 3: because I think it's... Too good? No, it's interesting enough,
- 2:15Speaker 3: I think we need to just watch it for the show. So, yeah,
- 2:19Speaker 3: I watched Mystery Team, which is pretty awesome, and very
- 2:23Speaker 3: different compared to most comedies. So I think, yeah, I'll
- 2:27Speaker 3: just go ahead and throw it out there. Advanced warning,
- 2:29Speaker 3: I think in the next few weeks, whenever we have
- 2:32Speaker 3: an opening again, we need to watch it, because it's
- 2:34Speaker 3: pretty damned awesome, so... Throw it on your Netflix queue
- 2:37Speaker 3: and go ahead and watch it so you can give
- 2:39Speaker 3: us some feedback on it. So we'll get back to
- 2:42Speaker 3: that one somewhere down the line in the near future.
- 2:45Speaker 3: So on to the error in judgment, I suppose. Yesterday
- 2:50Speaker 3: I watched Stan Helsing.
- 2:53Speaker 7: Oh, lord.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I knew it going in. There was something good
- 2:58Speaker 3: on another channel, but it was kind of heavy. Didn't
- 3:00Speaker 3: want to get into it. Didn't want to cry. I
- 3:02Speaker 3: was like, all right, let's just stay in it. It's
- 3:05Speaker 3: going to be dumb, but okay, whatever.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Yeah. Did it just blow your expectations of dumb out.
- 3:11Speaker 7: Of the water?
- 3:12Speaker 3: Afterwards, I felt like I owed my brain an apology.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Write that thing a letter.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Yeah, I.
- 3:18Speaker 8: Oh, man.
- 3:19Speaker 3: But it's one of those, I kind of... I thought
- 3:21Speaker 3: I knew what I was getting into. I assumed it
- 3:23Speaker 3: would be a very scary movie. I thought it was
- 3:25Speaker 3: just going to be an epic movie, disaster movie kind
- 3:27Speaker 3: of thing. It's sort of not, but it is. I
- 3:31Speaker 3: don't know. It's like that level of comedy, but... They
- 3:36Speaker 3: go about it in a different way. I don't even
- 3:38Speaker 3: know how to explain it. It's just, it's bad. I
- 3:41Speaker 3: know it's bad, but it's, like, odd the way that
- 3:44Speaker 3: it's structured. Did it not.
- 3:45Speaker 5: Know what it was as far as a comedy? Like,
- 3:47Speaker 5: it's tongue-in-cheek or, like, gaggy?
- 3:51Speaker 3: No, it's totally over-the-top, hitting you over the head with
- 3:54Speaker 3: the jokes, kind of like epic movie bullshit.
- 3:56Speaker 9: Gotcha.
- 3:57Speaker 3: It just structures it so weird. It's like they're on
- 4:00Speaker 3: this trip to go to a Halloween party and drop
- 4:03Speaker 3: off videos. And it's like this convoluted group of things
- 4:06Speaker 3: they have to do. And then it gets drug out
- 4:09Speaker 3: over the whole... They're still trying to do these things.
- 4:12Speaker 3: Halfway into the movie, they're still at step one of, okay,
- 4:15Speaker 3: we've got to get to this party. I'm like, really?
- 4:18Speaker 3: It's been like 45 minutes. When are we going to
- 4:20Speaker 3: get going on.
- 4:20Speaker 10: Oh, wait.
- 4:21Speaker 3: Sadly, this is it. This is the movie. Holy shit.
- 4:25Speaker 9: And.
- 4:26Speaker 5: The adventures that can be had in returning VHSes on Halloween?
- 4:33Speaker 3: Most of it may. I mean, there are several moments
- 4:35Speaker 3: where I'm just like, what? I don't even know what
- 4:38Speaker 3: that was supposed to be. It's certainly not a joke.
- 4:40Speaker 3: What was that segment? Somebody help. It was just killing
- 4:44Speaker 3: two minutes of stupid time. I don't know. It makes
- 4:48Speaker 3: no sense. And I think it puts it all in
- 4:50Speaker 3: perspective because at one point, One of their little bits
- 4:54Speaker 3: is they're having a little segment with strippers, and they're
- 4:58Speaker 3: doing the usual, hey, dollar bills everywhere, and he's got
- 5:01Speaker 3: them shoved in his bandana, and they're all over it.
- 5:03Speaker 3: If you look at it, they're fake. And I'm like, now, okay,
- 5:06Speaker 3: when you're a low-budget movie and you're doing, like, a
- 5:08Speaker 3: drug deal and you need, like, hundreds and hundreds of
- 5:11Speaker 3: hundred-dollar bills, but they couldn't come up with a couple
- 5:14Speaker 3: of ones to stick in there?
- 5:16Speaker 2: Was it, like, the red Monopoly money, too?
- 5:18Speaker 3: No, I mean, it was green, but, I mean, from
- 5:20Speaker 3: a very quick glance, you'd be like, well, that's fake.
- 5:24Speaker 3: And I'm like, but they're one-dollar bills. You guys can't
- 5:26Speaker 3: come up with ones?
- 5:27Speaker 2: Go into your pockets, guys.
- 5:29Speaker 3: I don't think they had them. I think that's the
- 5:31Speaker 3: sad part. They really didn't have them.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Put everything into this. this is an add-on scene.
- 5:37Speaker 5: Literally so that's one we can miss then i'm assuming
- 5:42Speaker 5: uh yeah that one i'm probably not gonna add.
- 5:44Speaker 3: To the uh The list of stuff we need to see. Good, good, good.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Note to self, Stan Helsing, do not watch.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Stay away. Was Stan an actual character?
- 5:53Speaker 3: Was he like the video rental guy? Yeah, he's the
- 5:55Speaker 3: main guy.
- 5:56Speaker 4: I wonder if this is any better than the one
- 5:59Speaker 4: that came out around the same time they put out Transylvania.
- 6:01Speaker 4: So I wonder if that's in the same category of stupid. See,
- 6:04Speaker 4: that's the thing.
- 6:04Speaker 3: It just came out this year, right? I mean, I
- 6:06Speaker 3: didn't look it up, but midway in they do a
- 6:09Speaker 3: Michael Jackson joke. Well, first of all, it's not even
- 6:12Speaker 3: a joke. It's just... A reference? A reference, I guess.
- 6:15Speaker 3: There's a version of him over there doing something, which
- 6:17Speaker 3: isn't really even funny, so it's not a joke. But
- 6:19Speaker 3: I'm just like, okay, if it was after, this is
- 6:21Speaker 3: kind of in bad taste, because it's a quote-unquote joke
- 6:24Speaker 3: with little kids. If it's before, way to pull out
- 6:27Speaker 3: a 10- to 12-year-old reference. Yeah, right? Like, way to
- 6:31Speaker 3: be on the cutting edge there, guys. So, yeah, I
- 6:35Speaker 3: don't know. The only thing that makes me sad about
- 6:37Speaker 3: the whole thing is Kenan. Kenan Thompson is in it.
- 6:41Speaker 3: Kenan is so funny. It's a shame he ends up
- 6:44Speaker 3: in crap.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Kenan Thompson.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Kenan Kell. Yeah, there's no Kell. What's on SNL? That's Kenan, yeah.
- 6:51Speaker 4: Kenan, oh.
- 6:51Speaker 3: Which, once again, I'm kind of counting that as he
- 6:53Speaker 3: can't be on things that are funny. SNL is rarely funny. Yeah, nowadays.
- 6:58Speaker 1: He has some funny parts on it, though.
- 7:00Speaker 3: He's one of the better things to watch on there. But, yeah,
- 7:03Speaker 3: he's actually funny, and it just makes me sad that...
- 7:06Speaker 3: In this entire movie, I'm just watching him, and the
- 7:08Speaker 3: only one that's got any, like, delivery and any comedic
- 7:11Speaker 3: timing on any of this stuff is him, and I'm
- 7:14Speaker 3: just like, it's surrounded by stupidity.
- 7:17Speaker 2: I'm still trying to picture his face.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Go back to Good Burger.
- 7:19Speaker 3: That was a good one.
- 7:20Speaker 11: Yeah, see?
- 7:20Speaker 2: Oh, that dude.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:21Speaker 12: Oh, yeah.
- 7:22Speaker 2: He's fat jolly.
- 7:23Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. I mean, that's basically the joke. They're making
- 7:26Speaker 3: fat jokes the whole time, which, once again, nice writing,
- 7:28Speaker 3: you know, because it's bad enough, okay, you've seen him.
- 7:31Speaker 3: They put him in a Superman suit. You don't really
- 7:33Speaker 3: want to see Keenan in a Superman suit, let alone
- 7:35Speaker 3: for like an hour and a half. But that becomes
- 7:37Speaker 3: their joke.
- 7:38Speaker 5: That comedic gold runs dry like two minutes after.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Everywhere they go, they're like, I'm going to get a hamburger.
- 7:43Speaker 3: And I'm like, really? Let's work in some more wimpy
- 7:47Speaker 3: references too. You guys are so funny.
- 7:51Speaker 1: He goes home and cries in his trailer. He's like,
- 7:54Speaker 1: why can't I be a real actor?
- 7:57Speaker 3: Look at this guy.
- 7:58Speaker 12: He sucks as the lead, but he's skinny, and that's
- 8:01Speaker 12: all it takes. A skinny white guy. It's so sad, really.
- 8:06Speaker 12: So please, somebody give me some money. I'll make you
- 8:08Speaker 12: a good movie, Ken. It's gotta be better than Stan Helsing.
- 8:12Speaker 3: Yeah, it's sad, so... Yeah, the only other thing... Pretty bad.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Better maybe with toilet paper rolls and, like, Sharpie pens. Yeah.
- 8:20Speaker 3: I'd watch that. Sounds kind of entertaining. It'd be good.
- 8:23Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 8:24Speaker 3: So, yeah, I didn't really watch anything else in its entirety,
- 8:27Speaker 3: but yesterday, once again, flipped it on the this. This
- 8:31Speaker 3: plays some crazy shit. Talking about this week, yeah. Yeah,
- 8:34Speaker 3: and again, just to go through some of the lineup,
- 8:37Speaker 3: I stopped and it was Be Cool, which I don't
- 8:39Speaker 3: even know if... Have any of you seen Be Cool?
- 8:42Speaker 4: Seen Bits and Pieces?
- 8:44Speaker 3: I'm just trying to remember if you went and saw it.
- 8:45Speaker 3: I remember seeing it in the theater. I didn't know
- 8:47Speaker 3: if you went to, but... Does that have.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Bernie Mac, right?
- 8:50Speaker 9: Travolta?
- 8:51Speaker 3: No, it's got Cedric. Oh, Cedric. Definitely got Travolta, yeah.
- 8:54Speaker 3: So it's one of those I didn't really like it
- 8:57Speaker 3: that much.
- 8:57Speaker 4: It's one.
- 8:59Speaker 1: it's like it's not near.
- 9:00Speaker 3: As good as the individual performances because that's the reason
- 9:04Speaker 3: that was the movie i was like okay the rock
- 9:08Speaker 3: needs to be an actor because god damn he's funny
- 9:11Speaker 3: in that movie and everything else isn't near as good
- 9:14Speaker 3: i mean there's there's good performances there's good moments in
- 9:17Speaker 3: it but the whole thing sort of pales in comparison
- 9:19Speaker 3: i mean i liked get shorty and it's sort of
- 9:21Speaker 3: that continuation it's the character moving on and doing other
- 9:25Speaker 3: stuff but It doesn't, like, Get Shorty comes off very
- 9:28Speaker 3: clever and sort of, like, understated, where Be Cool just
- 9:32Speaker 3: hits you over the head with everything. It just becomes
- 9:34Speaker 3: sort of gratuitous of, look, here's another cameo. Here's another,
- 9:37Speaker 3: you know, super guest star we can work in. And
- 9:40Speaker 3: I realize they're in the entertainment industry, so it makes
- 9:43Speaker 3: it real, I guess, to work these in. But it just,
- 9:45Speaker 3: it seems so forced. Everything in it just seems... really
- 9:49Speaker 3: forced so yeah but i hadn't seen that since the
- 9:52Speaker 3: theater so it was it was kind of cool watching
- 9:54Speaker 3: some of it which they followed that up with return
- 9:56Speaker 3: of the living dead Nice.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Nice segue.
- 9:59Speaker 3: I didn't watch because I knew I wouldn't get anything.
- 10:02Speaker 3: I was trying to do other things. I'm like, damn it,
- 10:04Speaker 3: just turn the volume down, and I'll come back later. Yeah,
- 10:07Speaker 3: so I tried to not. Plus, I mean, they have
- 10:10Speaker 3: to edit things, so there's a whole lot of crazy,
- 10:13Speaker 3: blurry stuff over Atlanta Quigley, which if only that would
- 10:16Speaker 3: follow around now.
- 10:17Speaker 4: Anyway.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Nice. And then, yeah, they rounded it out well into
- 10:21Speaker 3: the night when I should have been asleep already with
- 10:23Speaker 3: Empire of the Ants. Starring Joan Collins. Wow. And that one, yeah,
- 10:28Speaker 3: I fell asleep to that one. Again, the story was
- 10:31Speaker 3: kind of retarded, and I wasn't paying that much attention.
- 10:33Speaker 3: But every few minutes, I'd look over, and there'd be
- 10:34Speaker 3: another giant ant attack. And it's like a mixture of
- 10:38Speaker 3: bad animation, almost, mixed with giant creature coming into the frame,
- 10:44Speaker 3: made out of pipe cleaners, attacking you.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Like photographing.
- 10:49Speaker 5: Ants in a terrarium or something and then just putting
- 10:53Speaker 5: over like building kind of scapes or whatever.
- 10:55Speaker 3: Was that? I don't even know what it was like.
- 10:57Speaker 3: There were times from the distance. I'm like, I don't
- 10:59Speaker 3: even know what they're doing there. It's not like it's
- 11:01Speaker 3: a clay animation or stop motion or. It's just some
- 11:04Speaker 3: sort of weird animated thing, and I may have to
- 11:07Speaker 3: go back and watch it just to figure it out.
- 11:10Speaker 3: It's so cheesy, I kind of liked it. I was
- 11:12Speaker 3: glad to drift off to Empire of the Ants.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Den is always a good one, but also one to
- 11:18Speaker 2: fall asleep to.
- 11:19Speaker 4: Do you have any ant-induced nightmares or anything?
- 11:22Speaker 3: No, once again, my dreams are back to being dead.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Were you being dead?
- 11:28Speaker 3: I'm still dead inside, but there were no ants crawling
- 11:31Speaker 3: around in my brain. or joan collins thank god step
- 11:35Speaker 3: up so yeah that was pretty much it for.
- 11:39Speaker 5: Me well ours is fairly fairly lackluster as well but
- 11:45Speaker 5: one of our friends let us borrow which we had
- 11:47Speaker 5: already done on the show a while back but you
- 11:50Speaker 5: hadn't seen before was fanboys Kristen.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Bell and all her delightful wonderfulness.
- 11:56Speaker 5: What's your take on fanboys? Because I started the same
- 11:58Speaker 5: stance of I just don't like it. I just couldn't
- 12:01Speaker 5: stand it.
- 12:02Speaker 4: Kristen Bell.
- 12:03Speaker 2: But she's beautiful. I love Kristen Bell.
- 12:04Speaker 1: I love her character. I like her windows. I like windows.
- 12:09Speaker 1: I think the movie would have been excellent without that
- 12:12Speaker 1: stupid fat fuck.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Wait, which one? The dark hair guy?
- 12:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:17Speaker 2: The balls of fury. What's his name?
- 12:20Speaker 1: I don't give a fuck.
- 12:20Speaker 3: I don't even know what his name is.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Oh my god, he's horrible. He's Ben Stiller in every movie.
- 12:27Speaker 3: That's not a good thing anymore, really.
- 12:29Speaker 4: Yeah, no.
- 12:31Speaker 1: He makes my skin crawl. He's creepy. His jokes fall flat.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Children should run from him.
- 12:36Speaker 3: I'm not really big on the other guy. The lighter hair.
- 12:39Speaker 3: The one that we decided was from the Jungle to
- 12:41Speaker 3: Jungle movie. What? The other lead.
- 12:44Speaker 5: Was it the car salesman or the cancer car salesman?
- 12:47Speaker 3: No, both of those two stuck, really. I mean, there's
- 12:49Speaker 3: a downfall, really.
- 12:50Speaker 1: I like the cancer kid.
- 12:51Speaker 3: See, I didn't like, you know, that was.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Was he in Paul John Key's... Wait, which one?
- 12:56Speaker 3: I thought the Cancer Kid was the one you don't like.
- 12:58Speaker 13: No.
- 12:58Speaker 2: No, no, like the guy who owned the van. Like
- 13:01Speaker 2: the bad guy.
- 13:02Speaker 3: Oh, that guy's awesome.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Oh, he's terrible.
- 13:04Speaker 1: No, I hate him.
- 13:05Speaker 3: He's ridiculous, but I mean, that's his thing. Yeah, he
- 13:09Speaker 3: is that all the time.
- 13:10Speaker 1: He's like Jack Black plus four.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, okay.
- 13:13Speaker 2: But Jack Black is funny.
- 13:14Speaker 4: Yeah, but I can stand Jack Black.
- 13:18Speaker 1: But just like doses of Jack Black. I can't even
- 13:20Speaker 1: stand doses of him.
- 13:21Speaker 4: I can't stand entire movies of Jack Black.
- 13:24Speaker 2: That's just too much.
- 13:25Speaker 4: Or even on an episode of Community, I wasn't happy
- 13:27Speaker 4: with that. Oh, I love Community.
- 13:29Speaker 1: I love Community. I love Joel McHale.
- 13:30Speaker 4: He's so dreamy.
- 13:32Speaker 3: Okay, just to get off on a tangent. Yeah, let's
- 13:35Speaker 3: just talk. Has anybody else seen the paintball one?
- 13:38Speaker 9: No.
- 13:39Speaker 3: Oh, my God. It's one of the best episodes of
- 13:42Speaker 3: television I've ever seen. Of Community?
- 13:45Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 13:45Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 13:45Speaker 1: It's great.
- 13:46Speaker 3: It's hilarious. It's not like a TV show. It was
- 13:50Speaker 3: structured like a movie. It was completely, again, sort of
- 13:55Speaker 3: understatedly poking fun at every action movie ever made. but
- 13:59Speaker 3: only in a way that people that are super geeks
- 14:01Speaker 3: that have seen every action movie would get. Oh, my God.
- 14:04Speaker 3: It's so, like, that episode was genius. So, yeah. Tangent.
- 14:08Speaker 3: If you haven't, yeah, if you haven't seen it, go find.
- 14:10Speaker 3: I've never seen that show.
- 14:11Speaker 4: Oh, man.
- 14:11Speaker 3: Go find it.
- 14:12Speaker 1: I've never seen. We watched that episode.
- 14:14Speaker 3: You would love the paintball episode.
- 14:16Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Even if you don't know the characters.
- 14:19Speaker 4: And it has the guy from the, I'm Brian.
- 14:22Speaker 1: I like the skateboard.
- 14:24Speaker 3: Who we'll get to in a couple weeks. That's a
- 14:26Speaker 3: little Derek comedy right there.
- 14:27Speaker 4: So, yep.
- 14:29Speaker 3: Okay, back on track. Fanboys.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I enjoyed the movie, though. It was good.
- 14:34Speaker 5: I still thought all the writing was just so simple
- 14:38Speaker 5: as far as the jokes about Star Wars. It's just,
- 14:42Speaker 5: of course, there's going to be talking about Boba Fett,
- 14:44Speaker 5: and there's going to be a Chewie growling reference, and
- 14:47Speaker 5: it's just.
- 14:48Speaker 1: I kind of call Shotgun Chewy. That makes me happy.
- 14:50Speaker 1: I mean, some of that.
- 14:52Speaker 3: You almost have to have. Or why do the movie? Yeah,
- 14:56Speaker 3: I mean, that has to be brought to the table.
- 14:58Speaker 3: But yeah, there's a lot of just the basic back-and-forth
- 15:01Speaker 3: dialogue that's pretty weak, really.
- 15:02Speaker 2: It could have been good, but it was just really weak, yeah.
- 15:05Speaker 2: I mean, working at a comic book store, I've seen
- 15:08Speaker 2: this many times. And better, actually. More well-thought-out and vigorous
- 15:14Speaker 2: kind of like, I guess.
- 15:16Speaker 2: The dialogue i guess.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Or yeah just yeah better than the movie interactions and characters.
- 15:23Speaker 5: And i guess maybe that was why i kind of
- 15:25Speaker 5: thought it fell flat because i'm like i've seen this
- 15:26Speaker 5: before the better you know in real life i live
- 15:29Speaker 5: this smelly yeah i could smell this happening not that
- 15:33Speaker 5: that makes it better but you know it's just richer
- 15:35Speaker 5: just full-bodied Again, I can.
- 15:39Speaker 1: It's a full-bodied geek smell.
- 15:40Speaker 4: Yeah, seriously.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Does it smell like the Comic-Con?
- 15:42Speaker 3: Oh, that's... Like you can taste it.
- 15:44Speaker 4: Oh, I was getting ready to say that.
- 15:46Speaker 3: That's no good.
- 15:46Speaker 2: I didn't mean to taste. Take your.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Feel your thunder. Yeah, I'm sorry. tasty tasty dialogue but
- 15:53Speaker 3: yeah i said it first i think with uh some
- 15:56Speaker 3: recasting and uh him getting to do his original script
- 16:00Speaker 3: an idea.
- 16:01Speaker 4: An hour and a half of kristen bell wandering about
- 16:03Speaker 4: in a slave i'd.
- 16:05Speaker 3: Watch that i have no problem with that actually if
- 16:08Speaker 3: you can set that up it doesn't even have to
- 16:09Speaker 3: be theatrically released just send it over to me that's
- 16:12Speaker 3: that's fine too i'm kind of okay with it But, yeah,
- 16:16Speaker 3: I don't know. It definitely has its issues. It's another one.
- 16:18Speaker 3: It's got funny moments, but it doesn't really come off great.
- 16:22Speaker 1: I fast-forwarded through most of it. I'm not going to lie.
- 16:23Speaker 1: I don't really care. I just wanted to see what happened.
- 16:27Speaker 3: I think I still liked it more than a lot
- 16:29Speaker 3: of people, but, again, I think most of it's just
- 16:33Speaker 3: that geeky level of, you know, you do sort of
- 16:36Speaker 3: have an understanding of what, if not the characters in
- 16:39Speaker 3: the movie are going through, what the people who decided
- 16:41Speaker 3: to make this movie, you know, that level of, of
- 16:44Speaker 3: just devotion to something geeky that you almost, you know,
- 16:48Speaker 3: I think I almost had a little, I gave him
- 16:50Speaker 3: a little more credit for that. I think this, you know,
- 16:52Speaker 3: then the finished product almost.
- 16:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:55Speaker 5: And I forgot that the, I thought the first time
- 16:57Speaker 5: we watched it, that the cancer kid, they were faking
- 16:59Speaker 5: it and he wasn't really dying of cancer, but apparently
- 17:02Speaker 5: he did die of cancer.
- 17:04Speaker 9: They died.
- 17:04Speaker 3: That's another one of those ridiculous things. If you go
- 17:07Speaker 3: back and listen to the director's story, like there's, there's
- 17:09Speaker 3: a part where that, cancer subplot doesn't even exist in
- 17:14Speaker 3: one cut they entirely took it out which i'm like
- 17:16Speaker 3: well if you can remove it that easily it.
- 17:18Speaker 14: Probably doesn't need to be there anyway it doesn't make
- 17:20Speaker 14: a difference because i thought that part was ridiculous or
- 17:24Speaker 14: again they were they didn't know how to play it
- 17:26Speaker 14: it's like are we playing this for jokes is it
- 17:28Speaker 14: going to get serious and we're going to get like
- 17:30Speaker 14: okay he's gonna die or yeah.
- 17:32Speaker 3: So it's really yeah it's really hard to play both
- 17:35Speaker 3: sides of that and they didn't really know how to
- 17:37Speaker 3: do it so yeah issues they have lots of issues.
- 17:40Speaker 5: But so fanboys and then we watched which you hadn't
- 17:44Speaker 5: seen either was enemy at the gates which i really
- 17:47Speaker 5: enjoyed it was pretty awesome silly zaitsev silly zaitsev number
- 17:52Speaker 5: one uh well i can't say number one uh russian
- 17:56Speaker 5: sniper because number one was a female A little known,
- 17:59Speaker 5: of course, you don't hear her name anywhere.
- 18:00Speaker 2: I don't even know her name.
- 18:01Speaker 3: Yeah, nobody can pronounce her.
- 18:02Speaker 5: She killed, like, 10 billion guys. Like, she had that
- 18:04Speaker 5: many kills, like, on her sleeve or whatever.
- 18:06Speaker 1: I want to be a sniper. It would be cool, right?
- 18:08Speaker 1: I would kill everyone. I mean, I love human beings. Oh,
- 18:12Speaker 1: I got a list.
- 18:13Speaker 2: We would choose.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Yeah, really.
- 18:15Speaker 2: We'd pick and choose.
- 18:15Speaker 1: I've got one made in lipstick.
- 18:17Speaker 3: I've got a huge list. I'll pass that on to you.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Nobody gets back off the list once they're on there.
- 18:23Speaker 7: That's right.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Once you're on there, you're staying on the list.
- 18:25Speaker 5: Hell yeah.
- 18:25Speaker 9: Yep.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Until I'm crossing your ass off.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Collecting your brains.
- 18:29Speaker 3: Done and done. That was good.
- 18:31Speaker 1: And just started playing Zelda.
- 18:36Speaker 2: Phantom Hourglass.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Phantom Hourglass, yeah. And I pretty much beat it. That's
- 18:41Speaker 1: a lie. I just now got to the ghost ship,
- 18:44Speaker 1: so I'm like halfway through, I think.
- 18:45Speaker 2: If anybody has any tips or.
- 18:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Because my internet's down and I can't get to GameFAQs.
- 18:50Speaker 1: So please call in.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Even though you pretty much trounced anything you're stuck on
- 18:54Speaker 2: for a little while.
- 18:55Speaker 8: Yeah, it only took me, like, the last one yesterday,
- 18:58Speaker 8: I had this stupid freaking crab guy, and I couldn't
- 19:01Speaker 8: figure out how to kill him. And you shoot him
- 19:02Speaker 8: with the arrow, but then he just pauses around for
- 19:04Speaker 8: a little bit, then goes invisible again.
- 19:06Speaker 1: He pauses around.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm like, what the fuck am I.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Supposed to do? And it was like, ponder the order
- 19:11Speaker 1: of this castle and your path. And I'm like, what the...
- 19:15Speaker 1: What the fuck does it mean?
- 19:16Speaker 2: I think they just did that to screw with you, basically.
- 19:19Speaker 4: That's the thing, the seven-year-olds can, right?
- 19:23Speaker 3: Yeah, funny, and we can't. They were already through it
- 19:25Speaker 3: in like ten seconds. They were like, oh, psh.
- 19:27Speaker 1: So I finally beat it last night. I was like, gross.
- 19:29Speaker 1: And I found the ghost ship, so I'm like, what's close?
- 19:33Speaker 2: Wow, she's playing Zelda. I'm playing Zelda.
- 19:35Speaker 5: PS1' s Gundam Battle Assault which is really awesome.
- 19:39Speaker 3: You're like competing nerds yeah but it's cool because you
- 19:44Speaker 3: know it's just like if I do my thing you
- 19:47Speaker 3: do your thing we eat.
- 19:48Speaker 2: Pop-Tarts in the middle Yeah, Pop-Tarts are delicious.
- 19:51Speaker 3: Yep, that is the crowning jewel of nerddom right there.
- 19:54Speaker 3: Video games, dueling video games, and Pop-Tarts.
- 19:57Speaker 4: And milk.
- 19:58Speaker 1: But it's okay, because we took the other TV out
- 20:00Speaker 1: of the living room.
- 20:01Speaker 2: Yeah, we had two TVs in the living room.
- 20:02Speaker 1: There are not two TVs in the living room with
- 20:04Speaker 1: four different systems hooked up.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Wow, that is bad.
- 20:07Speaker 2: That is a fire hazard or something.
- 20:10Speaker 1: There is one system hooked up in the bedroom.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Yeah, just in case.
- 20:13Speaker 3: I mean, I was always one for putting a TV
- 20:15Speaker 3: in every room, but I didn't usually. Okay, for a
- 20:19Speaker 3: while I had several going at once, but that was...
- 20:21Speaker 3: I was working on a system.
- 20:22Speaker 4: See, exactly.
- 20:23Speaker 5: I mean, sometimes you're watching a movie that you're just
- 20:25Speaker 5: kind of not all the way into while you're playing
- 20:27Speaker 5: a game, so then when it stops loading or whatever,
- 20:29Speaker 5: you can look over and watch the movie for a
- 20:30Speaker 5: second and then go back to the game.
- 20:32Speaker 3: No, I was trying to load all mine so they
- 20:34Speaker 3: could play the same thing. I wanted to build a
- 20:35Speaker 3: video wall, but I only got to about three, so
- 20:38Speaker 3: it was really sad.
- 20:39Speaker 2: And you've got one controller on each video.
- 20:40Speaker 1: It was more of a video hutch.
- 20:41Speaker 3: Yeah, it was a really sad video wall. Sweet. Video ottoman.
- 20:47Speaker 2: I think other than that, that's pretty much it.
- 20:49Speaker 9: Um, yeah.
- 20:50Speaker 2: That was our geek-asm.
- 20:52Speaker 3: Oh, um, I, we were video.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Videotaped for, uh, work.
- 20:57Speaker 2: That's kind of a new thing, right? Oh, that's right.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Because it's Facebook, basically. Selling ourselves like hookers.
- 21:03Speaker 2: Do we want to? I mean, are they paying us
- 21:04Speaker 2: more than what they pay us normally?
- 21:06Speaker 4: No.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Okay, screw that. But, you should go see me and
- 21:09Speaker 1: make me famous, huh?
- 21:10Speaker 3: Will this be YouTubable?
- 21:12Speaker 8: I think it will be YouTubable. Um, I'm not sure
- 21:14Speaker 8: in what duration of time.
- 21:16Speaker 5: Um, it will be do you want to give the
- 21:18Speaker 5: name of where we work or just so I can
- 21:20Speaker 5: see you um.
- 21:21Speaker 8: Yeah just uh see yeah it's Porcini so uh yeah
- 21:26Speaker 8: google it you should also go eat there because keep
- 21:29Speaker 8: us in business.
- 21:30Speaker 3: Keep in mind stalkers yeah Yeah.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Come on. I also live at, no.
- 21:37Speaker 7: Yeah, no.
- 21:37Speaker 4: Stop, baby, stop.
- 21:38Speaker 3: Here's my address.
- 21:39Speaker 1: I'll give them the neighbor's address.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Stupid kids next door.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:45Speaker 3: Fuck our neighbors. When you come home and they're dead,
- 21:47Speaker 3: you'll be like, yes, my plan worked.
- 21:49Speaker 4: I want to put my address on a little emoji,
- 21:52Speaker 4: but I put the address for the... Wrigley Stadium. People
- 21:56Speaker 4: messaged me, you know, that's stupid. You shouldn't put your
- 21:58Speaker 4: address on there. I'm like, well, come on over and
- 21:59Speaker 4: why don't you tell me how stupid I am.
- 22:01Speaker 3: I'll see you there. You can bring Dan Aykroyd with
- 22:04Speaker 3: you too.
- 22:05Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 22:06Speaker 8: It's not geeky at all.
- 22:10Speaker 5: This isn't our neighbors that are in the building that
- 22:13Speaker 5: we live in.
- 22:14Speaker 2: This is the neighbors that live next door.
- 22:16Speaker 5: And this, you know, as far as there is a
- 22:18Speaker 5: golden rule, I think more guys understand than girls. No
- 22:22Speaker 5: offense to girls, but it's just you don't fuck with
- 22:24Speaker 5: another man's vehicle.
- 22:27Speaker 3: That is pretty across the board.
- 22:28Speaker 2: You just don't do it. And then when you get
- 22:31Speaker 2: woken up in the middle of the night by.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Actually, I woke you up.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Oh, that's right.
- 22:36Speaker 1: I went to get the DS because I couldn't go
- 22:38Speaker 1: to sleep.
- 22:39Speaker 2: Which was in the car, right?
- 22:40Speaker 1: No, no, no. It was just on the couch. And
- 22:43Speaker 1: I heard some girl yelling in the middle of the street.
- 22:45Speaker 1: So I was like, what's going on? Is there a fight?
- 22:48Speaker 8: And that's me looking through the window for the people
- 22:50Speaker 8: playing the home game.
- 22:51Speaker 2: You can't see.
- 22:54Speaker 8: But so, and then I see this guy just taking a,
- 22:57Speaker 8: piss on the passenger side.
- 22:59Speaker 5: Door no and i'm like okay you don't fuck with
- 23:02Speaker 5: my car and then for what reason did i did
- 23:05Speaker 5: i do something to you it's.
- 23:06Speaker 8: Just some random there's a car in the middle of
- 23:08Speaker 8: the street right beside your car i don't know if
- 23:11Speaker 8: he was just.
- 23:11Speaker 1: Did you go beat the fuck out of him He
- 23:13Speaker 1: was asleep.
- 23:14Speaker 2: I was asleep.
- 23:15Speaker 3: And so I hit, because.
- 23:16Speaker 1: There were lots of them, and I was half naked.
- 23:19Speaker 1: But at least distract them. I hit them, right?
- 23:22Speaker 3: Get the fuck out.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Please make a slow stop, fucker.
- 23:25Speaker 8: I hit the alarm button and started going off, so
- 23:29Speaker 8: he jumped in the car and ran away.
- 23:31Speaker 2: And I was like, fuck it.
- 23:32Speaker 1: So then I put clothes on and went down to
- 23:34Speaker 1: the car. Yep, that's me.
- 23:38Speaker 3: I have to run tests.
- 23:39Speaker 1: I have surgical gloves. So I was like, do you?
- 23:42Speaker 2: Wait, did you see us have that shit?
- 23:43Speaker 1: Yep, that's pee.
- 23:44Speaker 4: I did.
- 23:45Speaker 1: I'm not going to lie.
- 23:47Speaker 2: You had to smell it.
- 23:49Speaker 1: I didn't like put it in my nose. You had
- 23:51Speaker 1: to lick it.
- 23:52Speaker 3: Taste it. Yes, that's definitely pee.
- 23:56Speaker 1: He had killians five hours ago.
- 23:58Speaker 5: Sodium content is too high. But so, you know, that's
- 24:01Speaker 5: just one of the things. You don't fuck with a
- 24:03Speaker 5: man's vehicle. And pissing on it just to me seems
- 24:05Speaker 5: more personal.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I was going to say, I mean, breaking into
- 24:08Speaker 3: it almost makes sense. Pissing on it is just like, uncalled.
- 24:12Speaker 5: For right and apparently these are friends of the the
- 24:15Speaker 5: kids that live next door.
- 24:17Speaker 3: The ones that used to set off the alarm all the.
- 24:19Speaker 5: Time no no those are other younger kids okay those
- 24:22Speaker 5: are babies they just don't know better but so this
- 24:25Speaker 5: is just kind of like game on for me i'm
- 24:27Speaker 5: like okay uh.
- 24:29Speaker 4: I'm going to leave a bag of shit on their
- 24:32Speaker 4: fucking windshield.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Smear it in their handholds where the handles are. Do
- 24:38Speaker 2: they have a sunroof? I better hope they don't.
- 24:42Speaker 1: We were driving down the street and he was like,
- 24:44Speaker 1: We're going to put a bag of poop.
- 24:45Speaker 4: On their car.
- 24:46Speaker 9: God.
- 24:47Speaker 2: A see-through bag.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Yeah, make it a see-through bag.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Zip-lock bag. Wait until it gets hot. Anyway, so... That's
- 24:52Speaker 2: not very geek-related, but.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Then I could just pick it up. You have to
- 24:55Speaker 1: just openly, you know.
- 24:57Speaker 2: Just enrage it.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Pry it back and put, like, a little bomb in it.
- 25:00Speaker 5: Yeah, so if you feel the pain, definitely comment in.
- 25:03Speaker 5: Tell me what I should or shouldn't do. I don't
- 25:05Speaker 5: know legality-wise. Please just let me know.
- 25:07Speaker 4: That, too.
- 25:08Speaker 3: You're going to find out.
- 25:09Speaker 2: I'm trying to.
- 25:10Speaker 4: Do a girl whose cousin pooped in a building they
- 25:11Speaker 4: were currently building and smeared it around him right in
- 25:15Speaker 4: his own poop.
- 25:17Speaker 3: He was special.
- 25:18Speaker 1: He's dead.
- 25:20Speaker 4: Now.
- 25:20Speaker 3: Not because of that. Still a lesson for you kids
- 25:23Speaker 3: at home. Don't do that.
- 25:28Speaker 2: So that's it for us.
- 25:31Speaker 4: Oh, is it my turn now?
- 25:32Speaker 2: I didn't do anything.
- 25:33Speaker 1: I didn't do anything.
- 25:34Speaker 4: Me and Jay played some more of the Dark Side
- 25:37Speaker 4: Chronicles Resident Evil, which is pretty fucking awesome. It kicked ass.
- 25:41Speaker 4: So yeah, we were shooting zombies for many, many hours.
- 25:44Speaker 4: I didn't watch anything. Jay's slacker ass isn't here. He's
- 25:47Speaker 4: off being a dad or whatever.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Damn him.
- 25:50Speaker 3: What a loser.
- 25:51Speaker 2: An idiot.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Taking care of his child.
- 25:54Speaker 6: Yeah, right.
- 25:55Speaker 1: I'm proud of my boyfriend. He takes good care of
- 25:56Speaker 1: his kid, but still.
- 25:57Speaker 7: I know.
- 25:58Speaker 3: I give him credit for that most of the time.
- 26:00Speaker 3: But yeah, we didn't watch anything.
- 26:02Speaker 4: I watched 45 minutes of The Hospital, and then I was.
- 26:06Speaker 1: Like, dude, fuck this.
- 26:06Speaker 4: I was mad.
- 26:08Speaker 3: Is that the miniseries?
- 26:10Speaker 1: The miniseries? The Danish miniseries.
- 26:12Speaker 3: Was it Stephen King related? No, that's the other one,
- 26:15Speaker 3: wasn't it?
- 26:15Speaker 4: I don't know if it's related to each other. I
- 26:17Speaker 4: didn't fucking care. I watched 45 minutes of the first
- 26:22Speaker 4: part of the miniseries, and then I was just like,
- 26:23Speaker 4: oh my fucking God.
- 26:25Speaker 7: Ugh.
- 26:25Speaker 3: Was Luke and Laura on it?
- 26:27Speaker 1: No, I would have watched it then.
- 26:28Speaker 5: I loved Luke and Laura, you know.
- 26:30Speaker 1: But, no, they were not on there.
- 26:32Speaker 3: Was it Children's Hospital? Because that's awesome, by the way.
- 26:34Speaker 4: No, it was just the hospital, and there was, like, haunted,
- 26:37Speaker 4: and there was this one bitch I wanted to fucking
- 26:39Speaker 4: punch in her face because she kept.
- 26:40Speaker 1: She was one of the people, she was got something
- 26:41Speaker 1: wrong with her, and I don't like people who do that,
- 26:43Speaker 1: you know.
- 26:45Speaker 4: No, she's, like, faking it. She's, like, one of those, oh,
- 26:47Speaker 4: I'm sick, I can't feel my hand, and she just
- 26:49Speaker 4: puts it in cold water, so her hand's mysteriously cold.
- 26:51Speaker 2: God, yeah, you know.
- 26:53Speaker 4: But yeah, other than that, because I'm on the cutting
- 26:56Speaker 4: edge of entertainment, I read The Watchmen because it's nothing up-to-date.
- 27:01Speaker 2: Like The Watchmen. Yeah.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:05Speaker 1: I ate a lot of Blue Man Goods.
- 27:06Speaker 4: That's why I read it.
- 27:07Speaker 1: There wasn't enough Blue Man Goods in it for me.
- 27:09Speaker 3: Oh, God. I think, yeah, we all did.
- 27:11Speaker 2: I got my fill. That first shot of just Hugh
- 27:13Speaker 2: Gage's giant balls and dick.
- 27:15Speaker 1: I want to go back and watch that movie again.
- 27:17Speaker 3: I want to watch the director's cut. I've been putting
- 27:18Speaker 3: it off.
- 27:18Speaker 1: I didn't actually see anything, I don't think. How did
- 27:21Speaker 1: you not see it with your eyes closed?
- 27:23Speaker 7: What?
- 27:23Speaker 1: Maybe I wasn't paying attention.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Did you see Blue Dick?
- 27:26Speaker 3: That's all there was. Were you watching the Watchmen?
- 27:28Speaker 1: That was the main selling point. Well, I mean, I
- 27:30Speaker 1: saw like a Ken.
- 27:32Speaker 1: Dude.
- 27:32Speaker 3: No, he had junk. No, his dick was long.
- 27:35Speaker 2: As an elephant trunk. Is it like a Ken version?
- 27:38Speaker 8: Maybe I wasn't paying attention to.
- 27:41Speaker 7: The blue dick.
- 27:42Speaker 3: Were you watching the knockoff? This was with Watch Guys
- 27:44Speaker 3: or something? The Watch Guys.
- 27:47Speaker 4: Yeah, I read it.
- 27:49Speaker 3: I don't remember.
- 27:50Speaker 4: See, it's been a while since I've watched the movie,
- 27:51Speaker 4: so I don't even remember how it ends. I can't
- 27:53Speaker 4: even compare the comics.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Yeah, the ending is completely different.
- 27:56Speaker 4: I don't remember.
- 27:56Speaker 2: No giant space squid.
- 27:58Speaker 3: Yeah, and they made a good call on that, if
- 28:00Speaker 3: you ask me.
- 28:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 28:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I was kind of confused.
- 28:02Speaker 4: I'm like, what the fuck is this?
- 28:03Speaker 1: But then, whatever.
- 28:04Speaker 4: Blue man goods.
- 28:05Speaker 1: Whatever. I remember liking the movie.
- 28:08Speaker 3: That was good.
- 28:09Speaker 4: And I remember when it came out, the comic book
- 28:10Speaker 4: was like 30 or 40 bucks for the big fucking
- 28:13Speaker 4: graphic novel. I was like, dude, fuck that. I ain't
- 28:15Speaker 4: paying that. Now I found out the flea market was
- 28:17Speaker 4: like $ 2.
- 28:17Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, $ 2.
- 28:18Speaker 5: You just have to let it, especially when it comes
- 28:19Speaker 5: to comic books, you got to let the buzz die
- 28:22Speaker 5: down and all the fanfare.
- 28:23Speaker 3: The novelty wears off.
- 28:24Speaker 2: And then, yeah, and then it'll reduce in price instantly.
- 28:29Speaker 4: You okay?
- 28:29Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 28:30Speaker 4: Yeah I did nothing nothing at all my sister had
- 28:35Speaker 4: a baby yay for her yay congratulations you held a
- 28:38Speaker 4: baby I held a baby and I didn't break it
- 28:40Speaker 4: you didn't drop it no not this time you didn't
- 28:42Speaker 4: burst into flames or anything no I'm telling you it
- 28:44Speaker 4: was no fit it didn't hiss at you it was
- 28:47Speaker 4: asleep she was asleep.
- 28:48Speaker 2: It was asleep the thing The creature.
- 28:52Speaker 3: The creature.
- 28:52Speaker 1: My friend has, like, a code.
- 28:55Speaker 8: He won't call any child, like, he or she or
- 28:57Speaker 8: their name until they're, like, four, until they have conscience
- 29:00Speaker 8: of who they are.
- 29:01Speaker 3: I don't think it should take that long.
- 29:04Speaker 9: Yeah, right?
- 29:05Speaker 3: By one or so, they at least get a little
- 29:07Speaker 3: personality going.
- 29:08Speaker 9: Huh?
- 29:09Speaker 2: Does this person have children of their own?
- 29:10Speaker 8: No.
- 29:10Speaker 2: Or love in their life at all?
- 29:11Speaker 1: It's for the best. No, it's my friend John.
- 29:13Speaker 5: Oh, nice.
- 29:14Speaker 1: A little skewed vision on things, that's all. But, yeah,
- 29:18Speaker 1: I held a baby. You can call it eight. That's cool.
- 29:21Speaker 4: There was no fire, nothing. Like I said, didn't drop it.
- 29:24Speaker 4: I wasn't too afraid to move, though.
- 29:26Speaker 1: They sat it on me. I'm like, oh, my God.
- 29:28Speaker 9: Oh, my God.
- 29:28Speaker 2: What is this?
- 29:30Speaker 4: Hopefully it stays asleep. They were like, if you wanted
- 29:32Speaker 4: to open our eyes, just poke her a couple times.
- 29:35Speaker 3: You're like, don't ask me to do that. You want
- 29:37Speaker 3: me to poke a baby?
- 29:39Speaker 1: What can I poke her with?
- 29:41Speaker 4: I jostled her a little bit I shook the baby
- 29:43Speaker 4: but then I was like no don't shake the.
- 29:44Speaker 3: Baby shake the baby no.
- 29:47Speaker 4: I didn't shake the baby kick the baby good lord
- 29:51Speaker 4: no that's all I did so yay for shooting zombies nothing.
- 29:56Speaker 3: Amish stuff wandered off lost.
- 29:59Speaker 8: Nothing hmm Eating sandwiches made by whores, apparently. The nastiest
- 30:05Speaker 8: slut I've ever... Did you say the nastiest slut?
- 30:08Speaker 4: Is it the nastiest or the nastiest dirtiest? The nastiest
- 30:10Speaker 4: dirtiest slut.
- 30:12Speaker 3: She's ever known. This is when she stopped on the
- 30:15Speaker 3: way here and got food. She got her sandwich from...
- 30:19Speaker 3: It was made by the nastiest dirty person.
- 30:21Speaker 1: But, yeah, that was the greeting as I walked up.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Guess who made my sandwich?
- 30:25Speaker 2: Nasty dirty.
- 30:27Speaker 1: And she said, like, the nastiest dirty person I know.
- 30:30Speaker 1: I'm like, which one? I mean, seriously.
- 30:32Speaker 3: Then she asked me when I walked up there. I
- 30:33Speaker 3: was like, you'll have to be more specific. You know
- 30:35Speaker 3: a lot of whores and dirty people.
- 30:38Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
- 30:38Speaker 3: It's like, I don't know. Yeah, skanky whores. I can't
- 30:42Speaker 3: keep track of all your weird friends that are sort
- 30:44Speaker 3: of friends, but what?
- 30:46Speaker 4: Frenemies.
- 30:47Speaker 3: Yeah, she's not a friend at all, though. I do
- 30:49Speaker 3: know who she's talking about. She's not a friend.
- 30:51Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 30:52Speaker 4: So, yeah. Because she still ate food that this girl
- 30:55Speaker 4: made for her. Whatever.
- 30:57Speaker 7: All right.
- 30:58Speaker 3: So yeah, since she wasn't here, we had to make
- 31:00Speaker 3: up our own Marlena story.
- 31:02Speaker 2: That's the end.
- 31:03Speaker 9: Sad.
- 31:04Speaker 4: I can tell them about her eating fish tacos, but
- 31:06Speaker 4: she might want to say that one first. Yes.
- 31:10Speaker 3: Once again, that's a very Marlena story.
- 31:12Speaker 4: Marlena and her fish tacos.
- 31:15Speaker 3: Anyway.
- 31:17Speaker 4: Apparently she loves to eat them. The fish tacos, literally,
- 31:21Speaker 4: that somebody made for a party.
- 31:26Speaker 3: All right. But otherwise, I think that is it for
- 31:30Speaker 3: the geek activities here. So I guess we will take
- 31:34Speaker 3: a break and be back with What's the Bug?
- 31:36Speaker 15: What's the.
- 31:40Speaker 9: Bug? Thank you. Oh, the time is now, the time
- 32:22Speaker 9: is here.
- 32:23Speaker 3: Now's the time to invite a cheer. A tasty life
- 32:25Speaker 3: where the price is right. Well, look in here, you'll
- 32:28Speaker 3: dig this site. The moment's handy for a piece of candy.
- 32:31Speaker 3: Just name your brand, they're all so grand.
- 32:33Speaker 1: Hey, what do you think of a nice cool drink?
- 32:37Speaker 3: Oh, big box filled with a popcorn trill. Let your
- 32:39Speaker 3: taste buds meet with an ice cream treat.
- 32:42Speaker 9: Invest yourself, it's time to eat.
- 32:44Speaker 3: So come on folks, let's join the band as we
- 32:47Speaker 3: all head for the refreshment. Sugar Pie, she's the sweetest
- 32:53Speaker 3: thing in town.
- 32:54Speaker 11: It's not good clean fun, but it sure is fun.
- 32:59Speaker 3: The film that asks the burning question, is sex dirty?
- 33:02Speaker 3: It is if you do it right. Sugar Pie, a
- 33:05Speaker 3: mouth-watering delight. When Sugar Pie was good, she was very,
- 33:08Speaker 3: very good. And when she was bad, she was wonderful.
- 33:11Speaker 4: Cut yourself a piece of the action. See, Sugar Pie,
- 33:15Speaker 4: I'm all yours.
- 33:17Speaker 2: Sugar Pie, rated R.
- 33:22Speaker 15: Thank you.
- 33:29Speaker 1: To talk to you about something very important today. That's
- 33:32Speaker 1: outside the cinema.
- 33:33Speaker 3: I know a lot of you listening now enjoy the

- 33:37Speaker 3: good films.
- 33:38Speaker 15: If you're looking for the classics, perhaps you're looking for
- 33:41Speaker 15: a good old Nazi film where the Nazis torture and
- 33:43Speaker 15: rape everyone in sight.
- 33:44Speaker 3: Or giant monsters crawl from the sea.
- 33:46Speaker 8: Or perhaps an Italian film where Edwidge Finch takes her
- 33:48Speaker 8: clothes off for no apparent reason.
- 33:50Speaker 3: Or renegade bikers just do whatever they damn well please.
- 33:53Speaker 15: Perhaps even occasionally turn into a werewolf, then Outside the

- 35:33Speaker 2: Paco Taco Taco.
- 35:34Speaker 1: He would be in a movie called Paco Taco, I think.
- 35:36Speaker 1: I think he would do it.
- 35:37Speaker 4: He would be a superhero.
- 35:38Speaker 3: Dude, he would show up for any of them.
- 35:40Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 35:40Speaker 3: I like that guy, but man, I feel bad for him.
- 35:42Speaker 9: What?
- 35:43Speaker 1: You're going to give me $ 2, 000?
- 35:44Speaker 3: I feel bad for him.
- 35:46Speaker 1: It's more than I make on SNL.
- 35:48Speaker 3: Probably. Oh, goddamn. I'm sure he gets paid the lowest.
- 35:51Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 35:51Speaker 4: We should talk about The Priest because I want to
- 35:53Speaker 4: see that movie because it's got Carl Urban in it. God,
- 35:55Speaker 4: I love Carl Urban.
- 35:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I love Carl Urban.
- 35:57Speaker 1: Ooh, Carl Urban.
- 35:59Speaker 3: I don't think I recognized him.
- 36:01Speaker 1: Yeah, he was the guy on the hat.
- 36:03Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, because I remembered us talking about who the
- 36:05Speaker 3: villain was going to be and then they showed him
- 36:07Speaker 3: and I was like... It didn't really register. I was
- 36:10Speaker 3: just like, wait, who did we say it was going
- 36:11Speaker 3: to be again?
- 36:12Speaker 4: It's got Carl Urban and it's got Cam Giggid of
- 36:15Speaker 4: whatever the fuck his name is from Twilight. Cam Giggid
- 36:20Speaker 4: fucking James Werewolf.
- 36:22Speaker 3: Giggida figgida.
- 36:23Speaker 2: What a.
- 36:25Speaker 3: Shit.
- 36:26Speaker 2: Werewolfio.
- 36:26Speaker 1: No, I take that back.
- 36:29Speaker 4: He wasn't a werewolf. He was a vampire.
- 36:32Speaker 3: Giga to sparkly.
- 36:33Speaker 4: Who's that stupid guy with that stupid hair who died
- 36:36Speaker 4: in the first movie?
- 36:36Speaker 3: Oh, James.
- 36:39Speaker 2: Yeah, James. That guy got dealt with.
- 36:43Speaker 3: Oh, the bad guy?
- 36:44Speaker 5: Yeah, he was the guy with the stupid hair.
- 36:47Speaker 3: That guy was gross.
- 36:48Speaker 1: He brought lunch, got a snack, or whatever the fuck
- 36:51Speaker 1: he said.
- 36:51Speaker 3: That guy was gross.
- 36:52Speaker 1: I like the preview for Vampire Suck when he's like.
- 36:55Speaker 8: Oh hey, it's the black eyed peas. And he's like,
- 36:57Speaker 8: why does everybody think we're the black eyed peas? Like, actually,
- 37:00Speaker 8: that's kind of funny. You do kind of look like
- 37:02Speaker 8: Black Eyed Peas a little bit.
- 37:05Speaker 4: Priest, I want to see that movie.
- 37:07Speaker 1: Looks good.
- 37:08Speaker 3: Priest it is, then.
- 37:09Speaker 4: Go to hell. I want to see it, because it's
- 37:10Speaker 4: got Carl Urban. I went and got me the Carl
- 37:14Speaker 4: Urban doll for Star Trek, because he's the only one
- 37:15Speaker 4: who looked good. So now me and Carl, we dance around.
- 37:19Speaker 2: Have tea parties.
- 37:20Speaker 4: He hangs out with my Lucy Ludo.
- 37:22Speaker 3: What about Paul Bettany? I figured you'd be on board
- 37:24Speaker 3: for him, too. He's the main priest.
- 37:26Speaker 4: I saw him, but I don't know who he is.
- 37:28Speaker 2: Married to Jennifer Connelly?
- 37:29Speaker 3: I figured you'd like him. He's kind of studly.
- 37:31Speaker 4: He's no Carl Urban.
- 37:33Speaker 3: He's creepy. Some people like creepy.
- 37:36Speaker 1: He's got a creepy face.
- 37:37Speaker 3: Well, then Marlena would definitely be into him.
- 37:39Speaker 4: No, he didn't, like, there's not enough weird for Marlin.
- 37:43Speaker 4: There's no, like, accordion involved.
- 37:44Speaker 3: Well, he does have a crucifix across his face, so
- 37:47Speaker 3: that might win her over. No, I don't know. It's weird.
- 37:51Speaker 1: And in his last movie, he wore a.
- 37:53Speaker 3: Silas?
- 37:55Speaker 8: On your leg?
- 37:55Speaker 1: Is that called a Silas?
- 37:56Speaker 2: I don't think so.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Wasn't his name Silas?
- 37:58Speaker 2: His name was... His name was.
- 38:02Speaker 6: Angel.
- 38:02Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 38:04Speaker 3: I can't remember. Michael.
- 38:05Speaker 4: Michael.
- 38:06Speaker 2: Well, he was Michael in that Legion movie.
- 38:09Speaker 3: That's the only other thing I really know him from.
- 38:10Speaker 1: He was in.
- 38:13Speaker 4: I can't see the little dance you're doing.
- 38:14Speaker 1: Yeah, sorry guys. Your taco dance. My taco dance.
- 38:19Speaker 3: Wimbledon. He was in Wimbledon.
- 38:21Speaker 1: He was in Wimbledon.
- 38:22Speaker 3: I win a prize.
- 38:25Speaker 1: For no one's sucky movie.
- 38:26Speaker 3: I haven't even seen it to know if it's sucky.
- 38:28Speaker 4: I can judge.
- 38:29Speaker 3: Hey, Kirsten.
- 38:31Speaker 4: She's got spangled teeth. I'm totally over her and her shit.
- 38:34Speaker 3: I kind of am too, but... That's just because she's
- 38:37Speaker 3: got attitude now. She's got attitude now. She seems really
- 38:41Speaker 3: full of herself in the last, you know, five or six,
- 38:43Speaker 3: ever since Spider-Man, basically. Really? When the whole world wanted
- 38:47Speaker 3: to hang upside down and make out with her. All
- 38:48Speaker 3: of a sudden, she was just.
- 38:49Speaker 2: Like, hey.
- 38:50Speaker 4: That never seemed like a good idea anyways. You get water.
- 38:52Speaker 3: Yeah, he's going to drown.
- 38:53Speaker 4: What the fuck?
- 38:53Speaker 2: In the rain, yeah.
- 38:54Speaker 4: He's going to fucking drown.
- 38:56Speaker 1: He's going to, like, pop something up. Nipples for three
- 38:59Speaker 1: movies straight.
- 39:00Speaker 3: Yeah, right?
- 39:01Speaker 2: It's always good.
- 39:02Speaker 3: Well, that's enough to carry your career.
- 39:03Speaker 2: It's definitely not bad.
- 39:04Speaker 4: Anyways, Priest. I want to see Priest. Yes. I want
- 39:08Speaker 4: to see Carl Urban in just about anything.
- 39:11Speaker 3: Or nothing.
- 39:12Speaker 4: Whatever.
- 39:12Speaker 3: Oh, I see. I see where you're going there.
- 39:15Speaker 1: Brown chicken brown.
- 39:18Speaker 4: Notice Jay's not here.
- 39:20Speaker 3: Like, that would make any difference.
- 39:21Speaker 9: You're right.
- 39:21Speaker 3: You make those references every week.
- 39:24Speaker 1: He knows I'm joking. He knows I love him.
- 39:25Speaker 3: Until Carl Urban comes along. All right. And we're back
- 39:34Speaker 3: with What's the Buzz? I'm sorry.
- 39:37Speaker 9: I got distracted.
- 39:38Speaker 3: Carl Urban. Now you stole my deal. By the way,
- 39:53Speaker 3: nobody's been calling me of the several celebrity girls I've
- 39:57Speaker 3: told to call me. What the fuck's up with that?
- 40:00Speaker 3: Can't imagine why.
- 40:02Speaker 8: All right.
- 40:04Speaker 4: Okay, is there buzz?
- 40:05Speaker 3: There is, in fact.
- 40:06Speaker 1: What is this buzz of which you speak?
- 40:08Speaker 3: Well, we're going to start it off with a little
- 40:10Speaker 3: spillover from last week. Machete got its start as the
- 40:15Speaker 3: then-fake trailer in the double-featured Grindhouse series. So fans might
- 40:19Speaker 3: understandably have thought that the... Spoiler, I guess, if you
- 40:22Speaker 3: haven't seen Machete, but if you listened to last week,
- 40:24Speaker 3: too late.
- 40:25Speaker 1: The action figure's coming out soon.
- 40:26Speaker 4: Have you seen it?
- 40:26Speaker 3: It's fucking awesome.
- 40:27Speaker 4: There's a machete action figure.
- 40:29Speaker 3: Does his face look like his face? Actually, it doesn't
- 40:31Speaker 3: look bad. I would hope so.
- 40:32Speaker 4: It's made by NECA, and NECA usually makes some pretty
- 40:34Speaker 4: good figures.
- 40:35Speaker 9: Awesome.
- 40:36Speaker 3: Now, see, I've held off on my toy buying, but
- 40:38Speaker 3: I might need a machete. But no, yeah, you might
- 40:42Speaker 3: have thought the teasers for Machete Kills and Machete Kills
- 40:45Speaker 3: Again were just jokes to end the movie. Oh, God,
- 40:47Speaker 3: I hope not. Well, according to Robert Rodriguez, machete don't joke.
- 40:53Speaker 2: Machete don't joke.
- 40:54Speaker 3: Yep, producer and co-director Rodriguez promised that he already has
- 40:58Speaker 3: ideas for two sequels. Although, and I guess I didn't
- 41:02Speaker 3: really stop and think about this, but do you guys
- 41:04Speaker 3: know how old Danny Trejo is?
- 41:06Speaker 2: Isn't he like 65?
- 41:07Speaker 3: He's 66. Oh, really? So when they make two more movies,
- 41:11Speaker 3: he's going to be pushing 70 by the time the
- 41:13Speaker 3: third movie is out.
- 41:14Speaker 4: Who cares, dude?
- 41:15Speaker 1: He's awesome.
- 41:15Speaker 2: He's still getting pulling like chicks, like mother-daughter trios.
- 41:20Speaker 3: Trios?
- 41:20Speaker 2: Oh, he hates the piece.
- 41:22Speaker 3: Trejo trios.
- 41:23Speaker 2: He's a tribalist.
- 41:23Speaker 3: He completes the trio.
- 41:25Speaker 2: Yes, he does.
- 41:26Speaker 3: But, no, I just hadn't stopped and thought about it.
- 41:28Speaker 3: I'm just like, man, that's a lot to ask this
- 41:30Speaker 3: dude to be running around.
- 41:31Speaker 4: He's probably just happy to be fucking working.
- 41:33Speaker 1: I think so.
- 41:35Speaker 3: He's taken a long time to get to this point,
- 41:37Speaker 3: so I'm sure he's just sort of relishing the moment.
- 41:39Speaker 2: Talking about a lady career.
- 41:40Speaker 3: But, yeah, it's just funny that, yeah, they're giving action movies.
- 41:43Speaker 8: He's fine.
- 41:43Speaker 4: He's happy.
- 41:43Speaker 1: He's not landscaping. He, like, smokes mad weed every night.
- 41:45Speaker 1: He's cool. It's fine.
- 41:46Speaker 3: But you can, actually, you can pull off action movies, like, forever.
- 41:50Speaker 3: I mean, they were pushing it with, like, Liam Neeson's
- 41:51Speaker 3: kind of old as a lead. But then, have you
- 41:54Speaker 3: seen that, the one that just came out on DVD
- 41:56Speaker 3: now that's fucking Michael Caine?
- 41:59Speaker 7: What?
- 42:00Speaker 2: Michael Caine?
- 42:01Speaker 3: Basically, it's the same thing as the, what was the
- 42:03Speaker 3: Clint Eastwood one that came out last year?
- 42:05Speaker 1: Oh.
- 42:07Speaker 3: Where are you?
- 42:07Speaker 9: El Camino?
- 42:08Speaker 1: No.
- 42:09Speaker 3: Gran Torino. Gran Torino.
- 42:11Speaker 1: What'd you say?
- 42:13Speaker 2: El Camino. It's different.
- 42:16Speaker 1: El Camino.
- 42:16Speaker 4: Yeah, but Danny Trejo's always looked the same.
- 42:18Speaker 1: He looks the same.
- 42:19Speaker 4: He looks damn near the exact same now as when
- 42:21Speaker 4: I remember seeing him for the first time. My first
- 42:23Speaker 4: time I remember seeing him was in From Dusk Till Dawn.
- 42:25Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 42:26Speaker 1: To me, he looks exactly the same. He does.
- 42:28Speaker 3: I mean, he hasn't changed.
- 42:30Speaker 4: It's not like he was pretty and getting old.
- 42:32Speaker 2: He's a little rougher, but that's just, you know.
- 42:34Speaker 1: But that works for him, though.
- 42:37Speaker 3: But it is one of those I've noticed. I mean,
- 42:39Speaker 3: I don't know that you... Maybe they always did that,
- 42:41Speaker 3: but lately it seems like there's this big trend of like,
- 42:43Speaker 3: you know, you've got Liam Neeson and you've got... Clint Eastwood.
- 42:47Speaker 3: Clint Eastwood's been doing it for all these years. I mean,
- 42:50Speaker 3: he's been over the hill for like 20 years now
- 42:52Speaker 3: as far as action movies go, but yet he keeps
- 42:55Speaker 3: doing it. He still keeps coming out being the badass
- 42:57Speaker 3: character and they let it slide.
- 42:59Speaker 1: I kind of wish he would stop, though.
- 43:01Speaker 3: He's still a badass. He's something we need to quit.
- 43:03Speaker 4: Like Harrison Ford.
- 43:04Speaker 3: See, he's another one.
- 43:05Speaker 1: I want to write him an angry letter.
- 43:07Speaker 2: He hasn't done anything in a while, has he?
- 43:08Speaker 3: Aside from me.
- 43:09Speaker 1: What's her face?
- 43:10Speaker 3: Ally McBeal. He's going to crush her. He's going to
- 43:13Speaker 3: snap her little twig-ass body.
- 43:15Speaker 2: If he hasn't by now, she's pretty stout.
- 43:18Speaker 1: She's just an alien, and she's a portal, and he just.
- 43:22Speaker 3: Did he meet her when he hooked up with the
- 43:24Speaker 3: aliens at the end of Indiana Jones?
- 43:27Speaker 9: Anyway.
- 43:27Speaker 4: Anyway, some people just need to stop.
- 43:29Speaker 1: But Danny Trejo's not one of those. He's fucking awesome,
- 43:31Speaker 1: and I'll just keep watching him.
- 43:32Speaker 3: It's one of those I was thinking the other day
- 43:34Speaker 3: as I drove past the giant picture of Michael Caine's
- 43:36Speaker 3: face on the side of a blockbuster. I was like, really?
- 43:39Speaker 3: I was like, Michael Caine doing action movies.
- 43:42Speaker 1: What the fuck?
- 43:42Speaker 3: He's like great grandpa.
- 43:44Speaker 2: You know he doesn't do his own stunts.
- 43:45Speaker 3: Isn't that Alfred? Alfred, yeah, from Batman, right?
- 43:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:49Speaker 1: He's a little old British guy.
- 43:50Speaker 3: And he's the action hero in this new movie.
- 43:53Speaker 4: Two things I don't like. Old people and British people.
- 43:55Speaker 1: He's both of them.
- 43:56Speaker 4: Oh my god.
- 44:00Speaker 3: Except for our British listeners. We love them.
- 44:03Speaker 1: I love S Club 7.
- 44:04Speaker 4: They're British.
- 44:05Speaker 3: Well, there you go. See, that'll save it.
- 44:07Speaker 4: And Mel B was on Chelsea Lightly the other day.
- 44:10Speaker 4: I still love me some Mel B. She's got her
- 44:12Speaker 4: own reality show, dude. Her hair looks so much better
- 44:15Speaker 4: these days.
- 44:15Speaker 2: I know.
- 44:17Speaker 1: She's hot still. She looks better than most of them do.
- 44:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 44:21Speaker 1: Except for Posh.
- 44:21Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 44:22Speaker 1: She'll have to wear a bolt-on. I'm not sure how
- 44:23Speaker 1: I feel about that.
- 44:24Speaker 3: No, Posh looks weird now. She's had way too much surgery.
- 44:27Speaker 2: Sporty doesn't look as good as she used to either.
- 44:29Speaker 3: I was never big on Sporty.
- 44:30Speaker 1: Baby got fat. She was the one who could sing, though.
- 44:33Speaker 3: Yeah, Baby had the voice, though, on our little diagram
- 44:37Speaker 3: off into the Spice Girls.
- 44:38Speaker 2: It's because our show was glazed with donuts.
- 44:39Speaker 4: We're going to have a Spice Girls musical now, dude.
- 44:41Speaker 1: I'm excited about that. That kind of ties in.
- 44:43Speaker 4: There's a buzz. There's a kind of Spice Girls musical
- 44:45Speaker 4: Broadway thing or some shit.
- 44:46Speaker 11: Oh, God.
- 44:47Speaker 4: Mm-hmm.
- 44:48Speaker 3: With them? They're recasting the girls?
- 44:50Speaker 1: I don't know. All I know is Spice Girls. I
- 44:53Speaker 1: like the Spice Girls movie.
- 44:54Speaker 4: I love that movie.
- 44:56Speaker 1: The part with the aliens? The part where Meatloaf's driving
- 44:59Speaker 1: the bus. They wanted to go to.
- 45:00Speaker 3: Clean the toilet.
- 45:02Speaker 1: I'm okay with that.
- 45:04Speaker 3: We just had to wait because somebody else already did it.
- 45:07Speaker 1: But that's awesome.
- 45:10Speaker 3: We're working it in eventually.
- 45:12Speaker 8: I actually recently just found Tangent, but I recently just
- 45:16Speaker 8: found that my cousin and I took after watching Spice
- 45:19Speaker 8: World because we wanted to be Spice Girls.
- 45:21Speaker 4: Which Spice Girl did you want to be? Did you
- 45:23Speaker 4: have your own Spice Girl name?
- 45:25Speaker 8: No, I'm just Baby Spice.
- 45:29Speaker 4: Really?
- 45:29Speaker 3: Actually, at the time, I didn't like Baby... It was
- 45:31Speaker 3: like later. I looked back and I was like.
- 45:33Speaker 1: Baby Spice or Ginger Spice. I was one or the other.
- 45:35Speaker 1: Posh was always my favorite.
- 45:36Speaker 4: I liked Posh.
- 45:37Speaker 3: I liked Posh back in the day, but I just
- 45:39Speaker 3: hated the stupid baby bullshit that she did at the time.
- 45:41Speaker 1: But she could hella sing, though.
- 45:42Speaker 3: But then, yeah, I went back later and I was like,
- 45:44Speaker 3: she's the one that's got the voice. It's like fucking...
- 45:46Speaker 3: Her and Mel B, I think.
- 45:49Speaker 1: Sporty freaked me out because she had this weird tea.
- 45:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I didn't like Sporty.
- 45:54Speaker 2: She had a gnarled face.
- 45:55Speaker 3: Mel B was cute, and she was the loud spice.
- 45:59Speaker 3: She was there for, like, whenever they needed somebody to
- 46:01Speaker 3: kind of yell, they would, yeah. So, yeah.
- 46:03Speaker 1: That was my brother's nickname for me because I would
- 46:05Speaker 1: blow dry my hair, sit down, and it's curly.
- 46:07Speaker 4: But I think out of all of them, she's aged
- 46:09Speaker 4: the best. Oh, yeah. She's smoking hot.
- 46:12Speaker 1: She definitely looks good. She has a new shoe line.
- 46:15Speaker 3: What the fuck happened to Ginger? She disappeared.
- 46:17Speaker 1: I miss S Club 7, though. Whatever happened to Paul?
- 46:19Speaker 1: He probably got fatter.
- 46:20Speaker 3: I don't remember.
- 46:22Speaker 1: Any S Club 7.
- 46:23Speaker 2: I don't even know what that is.
- 46:24Speaker 1: They had a show. Yeah, I remember that.
- 46:26Speaker 12: There ain't no party like an S Club party.
- 46:30Speaker 5: Wow.
- 46:31Speaker 3: Every day.
- 46:32Speaker 4: I think Rachel's still half naked on magazines a lot.
- 46:35Speaker 3: Rachel was hot. So was Tina.
- 46:38Speaker 9: Tina, no.
- 46:38Speaker 3: No, it was the blonde girl.
- 46:40Speaker 4: Which one?
- 46:41Speaker 9: Hannah?
- 46:41Speaker 3: Yeah, Hannah. It turned out to be in a.
- 46:43Speaker 4: What was that movie she went in with Frankie Muniz?
- 46:45Speaker 3: She was in the second... No, no, wait a minute.
- 46:48Speaker 4: That was.
- 46:48Speaker 3: Oops! The second spy movie. Whatever the hell that... Spy?
- 46:54Speaker 4: No.
- 46:55Speaker 2: Cody Banks.
- 46:56Speaker 3: Yeah. She was in the second Cody Banks.
- 46:57Speaker 1: Agent Hannah Spirits.
- 46:59Speaker 4: Or something. Spirit? I don't know what her fucking name is.
- 47:01Speaker 4: She was adorable.
- 47:02Speaker 3: She is damn cute, though.
- 47:03Speaker 4: I wanted to carry her right out of my pocket.
- 47:06Speaker 4: She was tiny enough. Wow.
- 47:08Speaker 3: Okay.
- 47:09Speaker 1: British old people.
- 47:10Speaker 3: Anyway, as I was saying about Rodriguez and aging action stars,
- 47:18Speaker 3: which somehow led to Spice Girls and then S Club
- 47:21Speaker 3: 7 or vice versa.
- 47:23Speaker 4: Ugh.
- 47:23Speaker 3: But yeah, I was thinking that the other day, driving by,
- 47:26Speaker 3: seeing Alfred there on the window. I've always said you
- 47:30Speaker 3: can cruise by as a romantic lead for way longer
- 47:33Speaker 3: than you can as a female actress. But it's just
- 47:36Speaker 3: weird that now it's even okay to be an action star.
- 47:39Speaker 3: way when it's past the point where you should be
- 47:41Speaker 3: an action star.
- 47:42Speaker 2: That's why I just think we don't have any.
- 47:43Speaker 1: It's almost like Andy Griffith doesn't do anything.
- 47:45Speaker 5: We just don't have any action stars of our, you know, generation.
- 47:48Speaker 5: It's all older action stars, like I said, that have
- 47:50Speaker 5: all died and there are none left, so we've got
- 47:52Speaker 5: to keep.
- 47:53Speaker 3: Digging them up and bringing them back.
- 47:55Speaker 9: Like, oh, God.
- 47:56Speaker 5: I just want to sit in my chair and pop
- 47:58Speaker 5: my pills and drink my booze and be alone.
- 48:01Speaker 1: And spend my millions that I've worked.
- 48:03Speaker 2: Since I was 20.
- 48:03Speaker 1: Spend my jillion dollars.
- 48:05Speaker 3: I'm trying to think, what's Chris Pine... Oh, he's good.
- 48:08Speaker 3: They just put him in the new... I was just
- 48:10Speaker 3: trying to think of anybody who might fall into that.
- 48:12Speaker 3: They put him in the new, you know... He's sort
- 48:14Speaker 3: of passing the torch, because Denzel kept ending up in
- 48:17Speaker 3: semi-sort-of-the-action movies. So, yeah, he's kind of come in as
- 48:21Speaker 3: the new guy.
- 48:21Speaker 1: He's always walking away from an explosion these days.
- 48:23Speaker 4: Wow.
- 48:23Speaker 3: Yeah. It's always fun to do that.
- 48:25Speaker 4: Chris Pine would make a good action hero, just as
- 48:27Speaker 4: long as he doesn't do any more Princess Diaries movies.
- 48:30Speaker 3: Oh, God.
- 48:30Speaker 4: What?
- 48:31Speaker 1: He was in Princess Diaries 2.
- 48:33Speaker 3: Electric Boogaloo.
- 48:34Speaker 1: Electric Boogaloo.
- 48:35Speaker 11: Wow.
- 48:36Speaker 1: He had a big helmet head in that one, too.
- 48:37Speaker 4: I didn't like that.
- 48:38Speaker 7: Oh, yeah.
- 48:38Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 48:38Speaker 1: God, Chris Pine.
- 48:43Speaker 3: So, anyway, Machete.
- 48:45Speaker 4: Chris Pine as Machete.
- 48:46Speaker 3: Chris Pine takes over the role of Machete.
- 48:49Speaker 7: No.
- 48:49Speaker 3: Didn't see that coming, did you?
- 48:51Speaker 4: I'll get you way off guard.
- 48:52Speaker 3: So, yeah, they were saying it's, you know, it's sort
- 48:56Speaker 3: of up in the air 100% if those machete kills
- 48:59Speaker 3: and machete kills again actually come together, but they're saying
- 49:02Speaker 3: it all depends on how the movie does. But it
- 49:04Speaker 3: had a, we were wondering last week, it ended up
- 49:06Speaker 3: having an $ 11. 4 million opening, which, again, for that budget
- 49:10Speaker 3: is pretty good. And once you put it on DVD
- 49:13Speaker 3: and Blu-ray, I'm sure they're going to. You're making it back.
- 49:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 49:15Speaker 1: I'm not going to buy it when it comes out.
- 49:17Speaker 4: To me, it was fun for the first time around,
- 49:19Speaker 4: and it was fun because of the stuff you're like
- 49:20Speaker 4: holy shit did they just do that but then it's
- 49:22Speaker 4: like i've already seen it now but.
- 49:26Speaker 3: You know just for the grindhouse factor i'd have it
- 49:29Speaker 3: i'd stick it you know next to planet terror and
- 49:31Speaker 3: you know i'd have a copy of it and probably
- 49:33Speaker 3: will so i'm sure most geeks fall.
- 49:36Speaker 1: Into that yeah I mean, I'll have the action figure.
- 49:38Speaker 3: Well, of course, so he can play with Carl Urban.
- 49:42Speaker 3: That would be wrong scale.
- 49:43Speaker 4: I'm sure. That would be, because he'd be at Carl
- 49:45Speaker 4: Urban's place, and I don't want him that low. He
- 49:48Speaker 4: needs to stay away from Carl Urban's place.
- 49:49Speaker 1: That makes me uncomfortable.
- 49:50Speaker 3: Actually, that's like real world.
- 49:52Speaker 2: Yeah, he's 10.
- 49:53Speaker 3: He's a little man. Oh, we love you, Danny Trejo.
- 49:58Speaker 3: It's cool. All right, so.
- 50:01Speaker 1: I liked his part in Fanboys. It was good.
- 50:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I see.
- 50:04Speaker 4: There you go.
- 50:05Speaker 3: You see, it's got so many cool things worked in.
- 50:07Speaker 3: It's got so many issues. I wanted to yell.
- 50:11Speaker 1: At Shatner when he was on the screen. God damn you,
- 50:15Speaker 1: money snatcher.
- 50:18Speaker 3: And that's what he did there. He's like, how much
- 50:19Speaker 3: will you give? All right, I'll show up. What is it,
- 50:21Speaker 3: like a half an hour of work?
- 50:22Speaker 4: I'll do it.
- 50:23Speaker 9: Okay.
- 50:24Speaker 11: Fucker.
- 50:26Speaker 3: Alright, so classic children's stories and fairy tales are a
- 50:29Speaker 3: hot commodity in Hollywood now that Alice in Wonderland actually
- 50:32Speaker 3: made a hell of a lot of money.
- 50:33Speaker 4: Not that they ran out of every other original idea.
- 50:35Speaker 3: Well, they never really had many original ideas.
- 50:37Speaker 2: To begin with, yeah.
- 50:39Speaker 3: So one of those is the Brothers Grimm, Hansel and
- 50:42Speaker 3: Gretel Homsaw.
- 50:44Speaker 4: Aren't they making like two or three different in these movies?
- 50:46Speaker 3: It's so hot right now. That's the thing. We made
- 50:49Speaker 3: fun of the Michael Bay presents Hansel and Gretel in
- 50:52Speaker 3: 3D quite a while back. So we already did. Now,
- 50:55Speaker 3: the other one, at the time, I think we mentioned
- 50:57Speaker 3: they were doing another one. We hadn't heard anything about it.
- 51:00Speaker 3: Now I've heard the little breakdown. Yeah, I kind of
- 51:03Speaker 3: like it.
- 51:04Speaker 4: It's not the sci-fi version, is it? I thought your
- 51:08Speaker 4: sci-fi channel was doing that.
- 51:10Speaker 3: No, see, that's a separate one, too. Then on top
- 51:12Speaker 3: of it, yeah, because the sci-fi is doing their own
- 51:14Speaker 3: series of all those. But this one is Paramount Pictures,
- 51:16Speaker 3: who is doing Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters. Now, the
- 51:21Speaker 3: comedy part throws me off, but I like the rest
- 51:24Speaker 3: of the description. A horror comedy which takes place 15
- 51:26Speaker 3: years after the incident at the Gingerbread House, as Hansel
- 51:29Speaker 3: and Gretel are now bounty hunters and chase after wicked witches.
- 51:33Speaker 5: That's funny, because that's a complete ripoff of the comic
- 51:36Speaker 5: book fables, that all fables kind of grow up and
- 51:39Speaker 5: have to integrate into the real world.
- 51:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 51:43Speaker 5: Actually, Hansel turned into a witch hunter, and Gretel really didn't.
- 51:47Speaker 5: That's funny that they're taking that and making a movie.
- 51:49Speaker 4: Out of it.
- 51:50Speaker 3: Probably at this point. Shouldn't surprise me that they're ripping
- 51:54Speaker 3: off graphic novels, though. That's kind of what they do. So, yeah,
- 51:58Speaker 3: now back to the guy that we talk about every week.
- 52:01Speaker 3: While speaking to Norwegian press, Jeremy Renner revealed that he
- 52:04Speaker 3: is in talks to star in the movie, along with
- 52:08Speaker 3: Noomi Reiss, the star of the Swedish versions of The
- 52:11Speaker 3: Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and the other movies.
- 52:13Speaker 4: She's going to be in the new Sherlock Holmes movie.
- 52:15Speaker 3: Yeah, she's going to be huge.
- 52:16Speaker 4: I don't like her. She's got a butter face.
- 52:19Speaker 3: Well, she looked cool in that movie, but then I
- 52:21Speaker 3: saw her in interviews, and I was just like, I
- 52:24Speaker 3: don't think I've looked twice at her in the real world,
- 52:26Speaker 3: but they make her kind of cool in the movie.
- 52:28Speaker 3: So I'm going to have to see her in other
- 52:30Speaker 3: roles to really make up my mind. But yeah, immediately
- 52:33Speaker 3: after they said that, Renner's rep clarified that they've been
- 52:36Speaker 3: in discussions, but there's been no negotiation and certainly no deals.
- 52:40Speaker 3: So they immediately backtracked out of that. I'm just like,
- 52:43Speaker 3: we didn't say that.
- 52:45Speaker 4: Oops.
- 52:45Speaker 3: So, yeah, it's all in the discussion stage at this point.
- 52:49Speaker 3: But we do know the director will be Tommy Orcola,
- 52:53Speaker 3: the director of Misty's favorite movie.
- 52:55Speaker 4: Which one?
- 52:55Speaker 3: Dead Snow.
- 52:56Speaker 1: Oh, I fucking hated that movie.
- 52:59Speaker 13: I was so disappointed in that movie.
- 53:01Speaker 1: It made me so mad. I wanted it to be
- 53:03Speaker 1: so awesome.
- 53:03Speaker 4: I mean, fucking.
- 53:04Speaker 2: Undead Nazis.
- 53:05Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, but, man, it sucked.
- 53:07Speaker 2: I haven't seen it because I heard that you all
- 53:08Speaker 2: said it sucked.
- 53:09Speaker 4: I'm telling you, I've never heard of it.
- 53:11Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 53:12Speaker 4: It's Nazi zombies, but then there's the scene and there's
- 53:15Speaker 4: the outhouse.
- 53:16Speaker 3: You just can't get past that outhouse part. I cannot
- 53:18Speaker 3: get past her. If it didn't have that, would that...
- 53:19Speaker 3: Nailing the guy.
- 53:20Speaker 1: Nazi zombies sounds good.
- 53:22Speaker 4: He's taking a shit in the outhouse and she comes
- 53:24Speaker 4: over and just straddles him and he's like fat and
- 53:26Speaker 4: ugly in the first place and she's all like hot.
- 53:28Speaker 1: I'm like, dude, this is not realistic.
- 53:30Speaker 4: I can get past the Nazi zombies.
- 53:32Speaker 1: I can buy that before I can fucking... believe that.
- 53:35Speaker 4: This hot chick's gonna nail this fat guy while he's
- 53:37Speaker 4: taking a shit in an outhouse. Nice.
- 53:40Speaker 3: I agree with all that, actually, is the sad part.
- 53:42Speaker 3: That's the way the world works.
- 53:44Speaker 1: I don't want to see it, though. I'm not gonna lie.
- 53:46Speaker 1: This is whining. It's a letdown. I mean, you might
- 53:49Speaker 1: enjoy it. Most of life is.
- 53:50Speaker 3: I think Marlena liked it more than you did.
- 53:52Speaker 4: Yeah, Marlena liked it a lot. I like Southland Tales,
- 53:56Speaker 4: so I don't care. Screw you guys. Y'all might like it.
- 53:59Speaker 3: Puts it all in perspective.
- 54:00Speaker 2: Screw you guys.
- 54:03Speaker 4: I liked it. It was fun. I don't care.
- 54:05Speaker 1: I don't think I've ever seen that either.
- 54:06Speaker 4: Everybody hated it but me.
- 54:08Speaker 1: It's stupid. He's told me this to test for it
- 54:11Speaker 1: a few times.
- 54:11Speaker 3: It's just, it makes no sense.
- 54:13Speaker 1: It's stupid.
- 54:14Speaker 3: It's back and forth.
- 54:15Speaker 2: I enjoyed it.
- 54:16Speaker 3: It doesn't go together.
- 54:17Speaker 1: I was just in a good mood that day.
- 54:18Speaker 3: Yeah, that's unusual. I know.
- 54:20Speaker 1: It's like walking through Canada. The drugs were good that day.
- 54:24Speaker 3: All right, so Hollywood loves making biopics.
- 54:27Speaker 1: I hate biopics.
- 54:29Speaker 3: I know. That's why I like talking about it. I
- 54:31Speaker 3: hate biopics.
- 54:32Speaker 4: I hate biographies. I hate fucking movies about people that
- 54:36Speaker 4: are real.
- 54:37Speaker 3: Aren't those all kind of the same?
- 54:38Speaker 7: Yes.
- 54:39Speaker 3: Okay. Oh, but one career choice that they usually don't
- 54:43Speaker 3: go through, I mean, they hit all the musicians and
- 54:46Speaker 3: athletes and painters, but acting itself. They don't really go
- 54:49Speaker 3: into a lot of actors. Unless, of course, you died
- 54:52Speaker 3: under mysterious circumstances.
- 54:54Speaker 4: Are they making a Heath Ledger movie?
- 54:55Speaker 3: Bob Crane and George Reeve and all that stuff.
- 54:57Speaker 7: Not.
- 54:58Speaker 3: At this point, actually, I'm surprised they didn't jump on that.
- 55:01Speaker 1: Give it about ten years.
- 55:02Speaker 3: If that long. It seems like the window's a little
- 55:05Speaker 3: shorter these days. They crank stuff out pretty quick.
- 55:08Speaker 8: We've got to wait for Justin Bieber to grow up
- 55:10Speaker 8: and his career to grow out so they can make
- 55:11Speaker 8: him be his legend.
- 55:12Speaker 7: Oh, God, no.
- 55:13Speaker 4: Wow.
- 55:14Speaker 3: Poor Heath.
- 55:14Speaker 1: I hope he don't get smashed. That's right.
- 55:16Speaker 8: We're talking about the... decimation of human nature as we
- 55:20Speaker 8: know it.
- 55:21Speaker 4: Why would you even recommend such a thing?
- 55:22Speaker 3: Why would you say it?
- 55:23Speaker 1: I'm not recommending. I'm foreseeing.
- 55:24Speaker 2: Yeah, this is a foretelling.
- 55:26Speaker 3: Sadly, that seems like how they do things really, unfortunately.
- 55:30Speaker 3: But no, this one is actually, he's a much older
- 55:33Speaker 3: actor and probably more famous for what he did after
- 55:36Speaker 3: he left Hollywood. It would be Ronald Reagan.
- 55:39Speaker 1: Oh.
- 55:40Speaker 3: So, yeah.
- 55:41Speaker 1: Who's going to care, dude? Is that going to be
- 55:43Speaker 1: an actor biopic or would that be a.
- 55:45Speaker 3: Yeah, see, that's the thing. It's sort of... It falls
- 55:48Speaker 3: into both categories, technically, but, yeah.
- 55:51Speaker 4: Are they going to just shoot for the actor aspect,
- 55:53Speaker 4: or are they going to get into the whole thing,
- 55:54Speaker 4: or are they going to.
- 55:56Speaker 3: Well, let's see. They are saying... Or is it going
- 55:57Speaker 3: to be a monkey involved? Well, I'm sure there will be.
- 56:01Speaker 3: Everything's better with a monkey in it. Reagan will be
- 56:04Speaker 3: based on the... Reagan is what they're calling this, imaginatively enough,
- 56:08Speaker 3: will be based on the biographies The Crusader and God
- 56:10Speaker 3: and Ronald Reagan, both by the same guy, are now
- 56:13Speaker 3: being adapted to screenplays, and... Let's see. It says the
- 56:18Speaker 3: story is described as the movie starting with the 1981
- 56:22Speaker 3: assassination attempt by John Hinckley and then tells Reagan's story
- 56:25Speaker 3: leading up to his presidency through flashbacks. Which, I guess...
- 56:31Speaker 3: Who's going to play Reagan? That's what I'm kind of wondering.
- 56:34Speaker 3: At this point, we have... Carl Urban. Actually, that's not
- 56:38Speaker 3: as bad as... I mean, once again, they're throwing out
- 56:40Speaker 3: his co-star, Chris Pine.
- 56:43Speaker 4: Nothing.
- 56:43Speaker 3: I mean, this is a casting poll that they did
- 56:46Speaker 3: in Hollywood Reporter.
- 56:47Speaker 1: I don't want Chris Pine.
- 56:48Speaker 4: To get the wrong idea. I still would choose him
- 56:50Speaker 4: over Carl Urban, but still.
- 56:51Speaker 3: The frontrunners are Chris Pine and Zac Efron. I cannot
- 56:55Speaker 3: see that. I'm sorry.
- 56:57Speaker 9: Efron?
- 56:57Speaker 3: Efron.
- 56:58Speaker 8: No.
- 56:59Speaker 3: I cannot see that. So, I don't know. I just.
- 57:03Speaker 1: I don't hate Zac Efron as much as I feel
- 57:05Speaker 1: like I should.
- 57:05Speaker 3: Well, I don't know anything about him.
- 57:06Speaker 1: He's so pretty.
- 57:07Speaker 3: I don't think I've seen him in anything. I mean,
- 57:09Speaker 3: everybody likes to make fun of him because of who
- 57:11Speaker 3: he is.
- 57:12Speaker 1: 17 Again wasn't bad.
- 57:13Speaker 3: See, I've heard somebody else tell me that.
- 57:15Speaker 1: It was kind of funny. If you can stand watching
- 57:18Speaker 1: What's-His-Face Act for... Two hours.
- 57:21Speaker 3: That one guy. Sandler?
- 57:23Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 57:24Speaker 1: Oh, Lord.
- 57:25Speaker 3: Well, no. And he's also, I mean, he bothered to
- 57:27Speaker 3: do a movie that centers around Orson Welles. So, I mean,
- 57:30Speaker 3: I kind of give him a little credit for just
- 57:32Speaker 3: knowing who, or at least finding out who Orson Welles was. So,
- 57:36Speaker 3: I don't know. I mean, I don't know what to
- 57:37Speaker 3: think of him because I don't think I've ever watched
- 57:39Speaker 3: anything with him in it. So, we just like to
- 57:40Speaker 3: make fun of him because he's a name at this point.
- 57:42Speaker 4: And he's just too soft.
- 57:46Speaker 1: It was just too soft to be Reagan.
- 57:48Speaker 3: Yeah, Reagan. Reagan played a cowboy most of his career.
- 57:50Speaker 4: I think I had more respect for Zac Efron when
- 57:53Speaker 4: he was in an episode of Firefly.
- 57:56Speaker 3: Yeah, but he was like four years old.
- 57:58Speaker 4: Really? I love Firefly.
- 57:59Speaker 1: He was the young doctor.
- 58:01Speaker 4: The doctor when he was a kid.
- 58:03Speaker 1: Oh, okay, yeah.
- 58:05Speaker 4: I forget the doctor's name, but River's brother.
- 58:07Speaker 1: Yeah, Zac Efron. He's so cute. Look at the doctor.
- 58:14Speaker 3: But it depends on what they end up focusing on
- 58:16Speaker 3: this thing because to me you almost you could almost
- 58:18Speaker 3: sell it if they focused more on the hollywood or
- 58:20Speaker 3: at least worked in a big portion of that because
- 58:22Speaker 3: you could do all these little again if you're in
- 58:24Speaker 3: the hollywood scene you can do all these people doing
- 58:26Speaker 3: cameos as old celebrities and stuff like that and People
- 58:29Speaker 3: would almost want to watch that, but it seems like
- 58:31Speaker 3: they're going back further. It says the film suggests it
- 58:35Speaker 3: will also focus on Reagan's early life, which they say
- 58:39Speaker 3: involves a surreal Norman Rockwell painting with his alcoholic Catholic father,
- 58:43Speaker 3: devout Christian mother, Catholic brother, and ever-changing borders the family
- 58:47Speaker 3: took in. like interesting i mean that could all be like.
- 58:52Speaker 1: A 10 minute segment maybe.
- 58:54Speaker 3: That's i mean that all sounds like an entirely different
- 58:56Speaker 3: type of movie you could make that kind of weird
- 58:58Speaker 3: movie work but then making it about ronald reagan and
- 59:01Speaker 3: then working in hollywood stuff i mean if they throw
- 59:03Speaker 3: all this at it i don't know i don't know
- 59:06Speaker 3: how it will come out and on top of that
- 59:09Speaker 3: i'm just worried about the performance because it, I don't
- 59:12Speaker 3: know that anybody's ever tried to do a version of
- 59:14Speaker 3: him that hasn't come off like a bad impersonation. Like it,
- 59:18Speaker 3: it just became like the joke of the eighties to
- 59:20Speaker 3: do a bad Reagan impersonation. So even people who are
- 59:23Speaker 3: skilled that try to do, especially politicians, you know, you
- 59:26Speaker 3: look at like Anthony Hopkins doing Nixon and, It's still
- 59:30Speaker 3: kind of bordered on sort of a cheesy impression.
- 59:33Speaker 1: It's Roland doing W.
- 59:35Speaker 3: That one was a little bit. I was surprised by W.
- 59:38Speaker 3: There was more to that than I expected.
- 59:40Speaker 1: I never saw it.
- 59:42Speaker 3: It was one I caught. I don't even know if
- 59:44Speaker 3: I finished. I ended up getting sucked into a big
- 59:47Speaker 3: portion in the middle. It made him out to be
- 59:50Speaker 3: way more... with it than I ever gave him credit for.
- 59:55Speaker 3: The character in this movie, I'm like, hell, he actually
- 59:57Speaker 3: seems like he's leaving the country. I never got that
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: feeling from the actual W.
- 1:00:01Speaker 8: I would be okay with Brolin being president.
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: Actual president?
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: No. Reagan.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: There you go.
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: We can just start nominating these people.
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: Especially if he took his shirt off.
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: I'm going to give a press conference. Hold on, let
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: me get this shirt out of my way.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: He sprays himself with water.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: No, that's the water. Get the honey.
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: Or honey.
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: It wouldn't spray better. Maybe it sprays.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: A spritz. Marlena's here.
- 1:00:31Speaker 10: Hold on.
- 1:00:32Speaker 8: Oh, Lord.
- 1:00:33Speaker 4: Marlena has returned from Amish land. Chris Pine's so gorgeous.
- 1:00:37Speaker 4: I miss Chris Pine. But yes, that guy played the
- 1:00:41Speaker 4: doctor when they were showing the flashbacks.
- 1:00:43Speaker 8: Yeah, okay.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: I remember that episode. There's only like one episode, but yeah,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: he played the kid.
- 1:00:47Speaker 8: He's talking about math and he wants a new computer
- 1:00:49Speaker 8: or something and his dad's like, okay.
- 1:00:51Speaker 4: We made up all kinds of stories for you for
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: your geek week.
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: Yeah, Marlena has joined us now, but while you were gone,
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: we made up stories for you.
- 1:00:59Speaker 4: You and fish tacos. And you were kidnapped by Amish.
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: But no, actually you weren't kidnapped. You went to live
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: with them last week.
- 1:01:07Speaker 11: We traded you for fudge i was gonna say yeah
- 1:01:09Speaker 11: that was last week yeah but uh i forget the
- 1:01:12Speaker 11: rest of the story.
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: Today the whore made your sandwich but yeah misty thought
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: that was funny so she.
- 1:01:17Speaker 8: Had to share and homeless guy i wanted to know
- 1:01:20Speaker 8: when he got hit.
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: By the bus the homeless guy got hit by a
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: bus there was no because we were telling like how
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: your stories normally go you want to hear a funny story.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: Homeless guy got hit by.
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: A bus that's yeah that was my impression of one
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: of your funny that is really that is one of
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: my funny stories You have no idea how completely happy
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: it makes me that someone.
- 1:01:40Speaker 11: I don't hate this girl, but yeah. My boyfriend cheated
- 1:01:45Speaker 11: on me with her. She made my sandwich at Jimmy John's.
- 1:01:47Speaker 11: It's just like the best revenge is living well, I guess.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: Not having to work at Jimmy John's?
- 1:01:53Speaker 11: You're making my sandwich, you lowly bitch.
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: Should have been like, you did it wrong, make it again.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: Wrong bread.
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: The customer's always right, slut.
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: Yeah, and hold the spit.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: Oh, goodness.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: I'm watching you.
- 1:02:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: It's a good thing that you can watch them.
- 1:02:12Speaker 9: I know.
- 1:02:12Speaker 11: It is a darn good thing. If it was like
- 1:02:14Speaker 11: any other restaurant, I would have just been like.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: Oh, I'm going to go.
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: I think I'm going to go to Subway now.
- 1:02:18Speaker 4: I'm going to go to Subway, yeah. But, yeah.
- 1:02:22Speaker 11: Yeah, I have no problem with her because, you know,
- 1:02:24Speaker 11: it's just one of those situations where you're like, thank
- 1:02:25Speaker 11: you for saving me a lot of time.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: That's true.
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: I was going to make fun of you, but you've
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: kind of done it yourself.
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: What can I do to possibly make your.
- 1:02:35Speaker 11: Life any worse? No one will ever love you. You're
- 1:02:39Speaker 11: ugly and you work at Jimmy John's.
- 1:02:40Speaker 9: I win.
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: Neener, neener.
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: That is the mature attitude we present here at Movie Nails. So.
- 1:02:50Speaker 11: uh not related to movies in any way but just
- 1:02:52Speaker 11: something interesting i wanted to share and it's a little
- 1:02:54Speaker 11: bit of a dilemma i'm having right now my mom's
- 1:02:57Speaker 11: ex-boyfriend robert is um fixing my bathroom wall for me and.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: The moldy wall that we talked about earlier the.
- 1:03:03Speaker 11: Moldy wall uh and i used to be able to
- 1:03:06Speaker 11: pay him in old milwaukee but he's joined aa and
- 1:03:08Speaker 11: he won't accept money i don't know what to do Have.
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: Him do it for free.
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: Free's always good. I guess I could give him a
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: 12-pack of Coke, but it's just.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: Give him a lap dance.
- 1:03:18Speaker 9: Ew.
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: I was going to say, that's usually where it goes
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: at that point.
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: I knew someone was going to suggest sexual favors.
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: See, I tried not to.
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: Other than sexual favors... Make him some cookies.
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: There you go.
- 1:03:28Speaker 13: He doesn't really eat.
- 1:03:30Speaker 4: He used to just drink all the time. Ew.
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: Well, he's going to have to, like, substitute one for
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: the other.
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: You're going to the party. You have to be a
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: fish taco.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: I wasn't trying to say anything dirty this time. This
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: is all you.
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: You were insinuating. So, yeah, I say cookies or... Real food.
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: Mountain Dew. Recovering alcoholics need real food. He's going to
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: have to substitute something for that.
- 1:03:51Speaker 4: He was drinking a Coke.
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: A pack of smokes or something. I mean, he's going
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: to have to find some other outlet.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: Lots of red meat.
- 1:03:57Speaker 11: He went to throw his Coke can away and accidentally
- 1:03:59Speaker 11: threw his cell phone in the dumpster, so he had
- 1:04:01Speaker 11: to jump in the dumpster and pour it.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: It was so funny. That sucks.
- 1:04:05Speaker 4: Whoa.
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: I told you guys she brings the story. We can't
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: make up anything as weird as the ones you actually
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: bring to us.
- 1:04:14Speaker 9: Nope.
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: This is true. I do have a very fascinating life.
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: I don't.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: Oh, Misty.
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: What?
- 1:04:22Speaker 11: So I had to go pick him up at my
- 1:04:24Speaker 11: mom's house, of course. And the concrete unicorn is gone.
- 1:04:28Speaker 11: But on her porch, there's this giant.
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: She'll never know I took it. There's this giant dolphin rug.
- 1:04:33Speaker 11: Oh.
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: It's amazing. I meant to take a picture of.
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: It, but I had to let it go in the car.
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: I didn't think it could get any classier than the
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: concrete unicorn.
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: But the torn rope and all, so it was actually
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: technically a horse.
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: I didn't really factor in the dolphin rug.
- 1:04:48Speaker 11: No, see, it looks really good because she got her trailer.
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: It goes well with the trailer.
- 1:04:52Speaker 11: Yeah, she got her trailer painted, and she got this
- 1:04:54Speaker 11: sweet dolphin rug to match it.
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: Coordinated.
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: Okay, you can't really go anywhere after she got her
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: trailer painted. Yeah, that puts a stopper on it right there.
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: Can't polish a turd.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: That's it.
- 1:05:07Speaker 11: My mom's like, what color do you think I should
- 1:05:10Speaker 11: paint my trailer? Because I was like, why are you
- 1:05:13Speaker 11: asking me? She's like, you're the one that went to
- 1:05:15Speaker 11: school for this.
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: For trailer painting?
- 1:05:18Speaker 11: I was like, mom, I did not spend $ 30, 000 to
- 1:05:21Speaker 11: help you pick out colors to paint your trailer. And
- 1:05:24Speaker 11: she was like, no, really. I'm thinking eggplant and cream.
- 1:05:28Speaker 11: Our shoes are eggplant gray or something like that. And
- 1:05:31Speaker 11: I was like, do they make a paint that'll keep
- 1:05:33Speaker 11: your roof from blowing.
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: Off in a tornado? Because otherwise, I think it's kind
- 1:05:38Speaker 4: of a moot point.
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: Sherman Williams' twister-proof paint.
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: Yeah, Trailer Park.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: That'd be awesome.
- 1:05:45Speaker 4: That's the new line, Trailer Park.
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: Is invisible a color? Can I pick that? I don't
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: want to have to be able to see it. Whatever
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: you have to paint.
- 1:05:54Speaker 4: Is there a color that will make it look like
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: a real house? Yeah, I know.
- 1:05:58Speaker 11: Is there one called shame?
- 1:06:01Speaker 4: That's the trailer color. That's what color she painted it actually. Shame.
- 1:06:06Speaker 11: Actually, my mom doesn't understand that there are different types
- 1:06:10Speaker 11: of paint for different things.
- 1:06:11Speaker 4: And she'll paint like.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: Did she paint with fingernail polish?
- 1:06:14Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: If she had enough.
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:06:16Speaker 11: Well, she'll find paint at like the Salvation Army or
- 1:06:18Speaker 11: something like that and just mix a whole bunch of it.
- 1:06:20Speaker 4: It'll be like.
- 1:06:21Speaker 11: oil-based paint and latex paint and semi-gloss and flat and
- 1:06:25Speaker 11: eggshell and all this stuff and just combine it in
- 1:06:28Speaker 11: one big bucket and that just.
- 1:06:29Speaker 6: Makes great yeah but uh she would like paint her
- 1:06:35Speaker 6: door and then someone would come in and there'd be
- 1:06:38Speaker 6: like dirty handprints all over it but she kept painting
- 1:06:41Speaker 6: it in like a flat paint i'm just like you
- 1:06:43Speaker 6: have to paint your door with a high gloss this
- 1:06:46Speaker 6: is technical stuff i guess learn.
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: Something new every day let's Never paint your door a
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: flat pillar. $ 30, 000 to know this.
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: That's money well spent right there.
- 1:06:57Speaker 4: Yeah, but, yeah.
- 1:07:00Speaker 11: She just would mix paint and have, like, four different
- 1:07:05Speaker 11: color walls in one room because she'd run out and
- 1:07:10Speaker 11: just mix more paint.
- 1:07:12Speaker 4: All right, is there more buzz or do you have
- 1:07:14Speaker 4: more stories?
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: To get back into it, okay, rig and biopic, who
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: would you cast?
- 1:07:19Speaker 11: Reagan biopic yep tommy lee jones.
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: All right i like that it's.
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: A good one i like that he's well that would
- 1:07:26Speaker 3: be like the super old i don't even know if
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: he could play the 80s version of him tommy lee's
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: getting old now who.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: Would you play as young pinch his face back a little.
- 1:07:34Speaker 3: He'd be okay yeah he's getting pretty old too i
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: don't know if we're doing like the hollywood years he's
- 1:07:40Speaker 3: like 30s is probably where it caps off so Carl Urban.
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: There you go. Carl Urban. Although he's getting to the
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: high end. I guess we will have to find some
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: random kid running around.
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: John C. Reilly.
- 1:07:53Speaker 4: Chris Pine is still pretty gorgeous.
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: Joseph Gordon left.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: Which I am now in love with him.
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: He will be in every movie. I have a new love.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: For him after.
- 1:08:02Speaker 4: Hearing him sing Bad Romance and Natural Woman.
- 1:08:06Speaker 8: He has a website called play.com, I think.
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: Yeah, it's awesome.
- 1:08:13Speaker 4: I've been in love with him since high school. I
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: never really cared about him that much until I heard
- 1:08:18Speaker 4: him singing.
- 1:08:19Speaker 11: Well, see, when I was younger and I exclusively fell
- 1:08:23Speaker 11: in love with men who had long, flowing hair. Now
- 1:08:26Speaker 11: that makes me sick, but my bedroom walls were lined
- 1:08:29Speaker 11: with photos of Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: He's so dreamy.
- 1:08:31Speaker 3: Oh, my God. They're rocking the sun.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: They're rocking the sun.
- 1:08:33Speaker 13: It's coming on in.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: Oh, good Lord. 4.30 every day.
- 1:08:36Speaker 9: Yep.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: I think I missed that whole.
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: I mean, I remember seeing it, but I think I
- 1:08:39Speaker 4: missed the whole bandwagon of him until recently. He's so sexy.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: Actually, I dated a guy who looked like.
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: 12-year-old.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: He was sexy.
- 1:08:48Speaker 11: Well, I dated a guy who looked like a combination
- 1:08:50Speaker 11: of him and Lyle Lovett.
- 1:08:52Speaker 7: Ooh.
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: It doesn't sound good.
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: No, it doesn't, actually.
- 1:08:56Speaker 4: It was okay.
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: I just saw Julia Roberts in my head for some reason.
- 1:09:01Speaker 3: Wow, what a slam on Julia.
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: I love Julia Roberts.
- 1:09:07Speaker 8: I don't know why, but she just popped in there.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: Too many teeth. I still have a lot of teeth.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: A lot of them. I don't think she has any
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: more than normal. I think they're just bigger.
- 1:09:20Speaker 3: Okay, that can get us away from Reagan then. So
- 1:09:22Speaker 3: those are our odd choices. If you have ideas for
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: who you think... Julia.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: Roberts as Ronald Reagan.
- 1:09:28Speaker 3: All righty.
- 1:09:29Speaker 4: I'm just imagining.
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: He's more of a Jimmy Carter kind of.
- 1:09:31Speaker 11: I'm just imagining Joseph Gordon-Levitt dancing around with Zooey Deschanel
- 1:09:35Speaker 11: in the Why Do You Let Me Stay Here video.
- 1:09:36Speaker 11: It's so cute. He goes to like Rob... I think
- 1:09:38Speaker 11: she works at a library. Maybe it's a bank, but
- 1:09:41Speaker 11: in my mind it's a library. And he goes to
- 1:09:43Speaker 11: Rob it and then they start dancing.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: Money, books, dancing.
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: It's so cute. He's still, he's going to have that
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: Leonardo DiCaprio disease. He's going to be 45 and still
- 1:09:52Speaker 3: look 16. Yeah, right. He's not aging. It's going to
- 1:09:55Speaker 3: hurt him eventually.
- 1:09:55Speaker 4: I did watch him and Zooey Deschanel doing the Sid
- 1:09:58Speaker 4: and Nancy.
- 1:09:59Speaker 3: He's fucking awesome. Like, she's all right, but he is
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: fucking awesome.
- 1:10:02Speaker 11: Yeah, he's an amazing musician. She's a good one, too.
- 1:10:05Speaker 11: You've got to get used to her voice. It's weird,
- 1:10:06Speaker 11: but when she do.
- 1:10:07Speaker 3: You like it. Yeah, she's crossed over. I like her
- 1:10:09Speaker 3: sister a little more.
- 1:10:10Speaker 4: Oh, really?
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: I kind of like her.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: Her sister is way less cute.
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: Nobody was on board for that.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: You are a stone her right now.
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: Screw that bones.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: I love her.
- 1:10:21Speaker 4: That's what she said.
- 1:10:22Speaker 3: That was an accident.
- 1:10:26Speaker 11: But yeah, Zoe is like maybe the cutest girl ever made.
- 1:10:30Speaker 9: Ever.
- 1:10:30Speaker 11: With those giant blue eyes that are just like blink.
- 1:10:34Speaker 4: She's like a cartoon character.
- 1:10:35Speaker 3: She is she's an anime character.
- 1:10:37Speaker 11: She is she really is like a real life anime
- 1:10:39Speaker 11: character like poor.
- 1:10:40Speaker 4: Man's version of her Katy Perry you know yeah I
- 1:10:44Speaker 4: know they.
- 1:10:44Speaker 11: Do look a lot alike though I do it's really
- 1:10:46Speaker 11: weird very strange Katy Perry's like more refined like not
- 1:10:51Speaker 11: really I don't think Katy Perry's more attractive but she's
- 1:10:54Speaker 11: like a Zooey Deschanel's kind of natural her look is
- 1:10:57Speaker 11: really natural Katy Perry you can tell she spends like
- 1:11:00Speaker 11: six hours in the makeup chair.
- 1:11:03Speaker 4: She needs it She's got to cover that Christ on
- 1:11:05Speaker 4: her face.
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: Take that, Katie.
- 1:11:07Speaker 4: What on her face? She used to be a Christian singer.
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: Yeah, now her name is Katie Hudson.
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: She's got to whore herself up a little bit. Katie Hudson.
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: Yep, you can't sell that wholesome image.
- 1:11:11Speaker 4: Fuck that. Ask Jessica Simpson.
- 1:11:12Speaker 7: I know.
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: Yeah. She had nothing in her brain. It's tuna.
- 1:11:13Speaker 4: It's tuna. It's tuna.
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: It's tuna. It's tuna. It's tuna.
- 1:11:15Speaker 11: It's tuna.
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: It's tuna.
- 1:11:15Speaker 4: It's tuna. It's tuna.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: It's tuna.
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: It's tuna.
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: It's tuna. It's tuna. It's tuna.
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: It's tuna.
- 1:11:17Speaker 4: It's tuna.
- 1:11:17Speaker 9: It's tuna.
- 1:11:18Speaker 4: It's tuna.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: It's tuna. It's tuna.
- 1:11:19Speaker 9: It's tuna.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: It's tuna. It's tuna.
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: It's tuna. It's tuna. It's tuna.
- 1:11:21Speaker 9: It's tuna.
- 1:11:22Speaker 7: It's tuna.
- 1:11:22Speaker 9: It's tuna.
- 1:11:22Speaker 11: It's tuna.
- 1:11:22Speaker 4: It's tuna. It's tuna.
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: It's tuna.
- 1:11:23Speaker 15: It's tuna.
- 1:11:23Speaker 4: It Chicken of the sea.
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: Gosh, she's a fucktard.
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: Right?
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: Complete and total fucktard.
- 1:11:30Speaker 11: Oh, so here's a new word I've been saying in
- 1:11:33Speaker 11: the last week.
- 1:11:33Speaker 9: I don't know why.
- 1:11:34Speaker 11: Oh, this man called into work and he was seriously retarded.
- 1:11:38Speaker 11: And I put it on speakerphone because he kept asking
- 1:11:40Speaker 11: me all these really annoying questions.
- 1:11:42Speaker 3: And.
- 1:11:43Speaker 4: all my coworkers are like, what is this? What is happening?
- 1:11:46Speaker 11: I was like, I don't know, but it's a legit retard.
- 1:11:48Speaker 11: And then it just stuck, and I just keep calling
- 1:11:51Speaker 11: people legit retards, which I think makes me a legit retard,
- 1:11:55Speaker 11: but it's okay.
- 1:11:56Speaker 5: Maybe so, actually.
- 1:11:58Speaker 11: Legit retard.
- 1:11:58Speaker 4: Put that in your vernacular.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: I was fond of Motard for a while. Motard? Motard.
- 1:12:03Speaker 11: Motard is that, like, hipster set right off of a moped.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: Motard.
- 1:12:09Speaker 9: It is now.
- 1:12:12Speaker 11: And I've also been saying stick that in your vernacular
- 1:12:14Speaker 11: and smoke it.
- 1:12:15Speaker 4: I don't know why.
- 1:12:16Speaker 7: Oh, God.
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: Each week we find new and innovative ways to be
- 1:12:22Speaker 3: more offensive.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: I get geetard for a while.
- 1:12:24Speaker 4: Geetard? Geetard. Yeah, that's a good one.
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: Does that mean you play a guitar? You don't have
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: a key-tar?
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: Probably a key-tar.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: A key-tar.
- 1:12:36Speaker 13: Oh, yeah.
- 1:12:37Speaker 12: Hi.
- 1:12:38Speaker 11: My mom doesn't even, not even to be funny, but
- 1:12:41Speaker 11: she does pronounce guitar, guitar, guitar.
- 1:12:44Speaker 4: Guitar. Guitar, yeah.
- 1:12:45Speaker 7: Guitar.
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: Totally happens.
- 1:12:52Speaker 11: Buzz?
- 1:12:53Speaker 4: Was there more buzz?
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: There was one more if we wanted to hear.
- 1:12:57Speaker 4: Was it good or bad?
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: Interesting, I suppose.
- 1:13:02Speaker 11: Can I tell one more funny story real fast?
- 1:13:04Speaker 4: I just remembered this.
- 1:13:06Speaker 11: Okay, so Friday I went to my friend I'm not
- 1:13:10Speaker 11: going to refer to her real name because this is
- 1:13:11Speaker 11: really sad. We'll call her Jenny. I went to my
- 1:13:15Speaker 11: friend Jenny's house and her son, his name is Tommy,
- 1:13:18Speaker 11: he's 12.
- 1:13:19Speaker 4: She'd been drinking malt liquor. My fault.
- 1:13:21Speaker 6: My bad.
- 1:13:21Speaker 11: Can you change her name, not the kid's name?
- 1:13:24Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:13:25Speaker 11: I can't do that because I would have to think
- 1:13:27Speaker 11: of another name.
- 1:13:29Speaker 3: Yeah, okay.
- 1:13:31Speaker 4: His name's Tommy, and she was like.
- 1:13:34Speaker 11: Timmy, will you go downstairs and get my drink?
- 1:13:37Speaker 13: And he goes, my name is Tommy, Mom.
- 1:13:40Speaker 7: Wow.
- 1:13:40Speaker 13: And I started laughing so hard I fell on the ground.
- 1:13:44Speaker 4: Did you pee yourself a little bit?
- 1:13:45Speaker 13: No, but my friend Greg was pointing and laughing.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: He goes, are you peeing?
- 1:13:49Speaker 13: Are you peeing? Are you peeing on the ground?
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 1:13:52Speaker 4: Because normally you are.
- 1:13:54Speaker 13: She called her own son the wrong name.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: Now I know who that is.
- 1:13:58Speaker 4: I'm going to go hang out in Target and find her.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: It's okay.
- 1:14:02Speaker 11: If you know, let's... No one listens to this that
- 1:14:05Speaker 11: I know.
- 1:14:06Speaker 3: I wonder why.
- 1:14:08Speaker 4: I'm going to ask her how Timmy's doing next time.
- 1:14:11Speaker 15: Timmy.
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: I forgot her own child. I forgot her own child.
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: I just called her something else.
- 1:14:19Speaker 13: That's so awesome.
- 1:14:21Speaker 3: Not even like the wrong kid. Most parents end up
- 1:14:23Speaker 3: doing that eventually.
- 1:14:25Speaker 4: My grandma calls me Jennifer every once in a while.
- 1:14:27Speaker 8: My grandmother goes to like seven people to get to me.
- 1:14:31Speaker 3: But that's different. She has one child. She doesn't have
- 1:14:35Speaker 3: another kid.
- 1:14:36Speaker 4: She has one child.
- 1:14:37Speaker 3: That's just sad is what that is.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: Poor Tommy. Poor Timmy.
- 1:14:41Speaker 4: Poor Smitty.
- 1:14:46Speaker 11: I should have changed it to like Johnny and Jeffrey
- 1:14:49Speaker 11: or something.
- 1:14:50Speaker 4: Or to Timmy to Tommy. Have his real name be
- 1:14:53Speaker 4: Timmy and then she calls him Tommy.
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: That way it's all crazy.
- 1:14:56Speaker 4: Aw, damn.
- 1:14:57Speaker 3: They'd never piece it together again.
- 1:14:59Speaker 11: Everybody has been blown to pieces.
- 1:15:01Speaker 4: It's okay. All right, moving on. Sorry.
- 1:15:03Speaker 5: I got fish tacos waiting for me.
- 1:15:09Speaker 4: See, it wasn't even me this time.
- 1:15:10Speaker 3: Oh, Lord. All right.
- 1:15:13Speaker 8: Buzz.
- 1:15:14Speaker 3: Buzz. Dutch action director Jean de Bon became the butt
- 1:15:19Speaker 3: of many movie geeks' joke back in the 90s. But,
- 1:15:22Speaker 3: you know, you haven't heard anybody complain about his cheesy,
- 1:15:24Speaker 3: over-the-top movies in a long time. You know why? He
- 1:15:27Speaker 3: hasn't made one in seven years.
- 1:15:30Speaker 4: Because of the ridicule?
- 1:15:31Speaker 3: No, just because he's lame.
- 1:15:34Speaker 4: I wish Huey Bull would quit making movies because people
- 1:15:36Speaker 4: make fun of him.
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: No. He's got a mission.
- 1:15:38Speaker 4: What?
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: Sorry.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: I don't know. House of the Dead.
- 1:15:41Speaker 11: Dude, seriously.
- 1:15:43Speaker 3: That's a great movie.
- 1:15:44Speaker 4: It was a good video game, though. It was a
- 1:15:45Speaker 4: shitty movie. I doubt it.
- 1:15:48Speaker 3: So, this time, Jean de Bon is preparing to return
- 1:15:51Speaker 3: with his adaptation of the Chinese 6th century tale of
- 1:15:54Speaker 3: Ha Mulan, the young girl who joined the all-male army
- 1:15:58Speaker 3: and helped.
- 1:15:58Speaker 4: Did you just hack something up during that? I.
- 1:16:02Speaker 3: Do you know Chinese?
- 1:16:04Speaker 7: No.
- 1:16:05Speaker 3: I was speaking a special dialect of Chinese.
- 1:16:08Speaker 4: Mandarin.
- 1:16:11Speaker 3: No, that's just oranges. So, yeah, she's, you know, much
- 1:16:14Speaker 3: as we know, the young girl who joined the all-male
- 1:16:16Speaker 3: army and helped lead them to victory.
- 1:16:17Speaker 4: Didn't Disney already do this?
- 1:16:19Speaker 3: Yes. The most famous adaptation would be the 98 Disney version,
- 1:16:23Speaker 3: but there has also been a Chinese live-action movie last year.
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: Have you seen that one, Roger? It's, um, let's see.
- 1:16:30Speaker 3: Shouyi is the woman who was in that one, who
- 1:16:33Speaker 3: actually I've seen the trailer for it. It looks good. Like,
- 1:16:35Speaker 3: if you like big epic battle movies, it's... it looks
- 1:16:39Speaker 3: pretty epic. It's very, I'm amazed at some of the
- 1:16:43Speaker 3: money they put into this. Cause it's just like hordes
- 1:16:45Speaker 3: of people out on the fields of costumes and horses
- 1:16:49Speaker 3: and yeah. Attacking each other out in the field. So
- 1:16:52Speaker 3: it looks pretty epic.
- 1:16:53Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:16:54Speaker 3: I'm surprised they got that much budget to back this
- 1:16:57Speaker 3: movie and it hasn't really made its way over here
- 1:16:59Speaker 3: at all. But, um, yeah, this time they're changing up and, uh,
- 1:17:03Speaker 3: John's Mulan will film this fall outside Shanghai, but will
- 1:17:07Speaker 3: also be in English and will star Zhang Zi. Go ahead, Misty.
- 1:17:11Speaker 4: God, she's the cutest thing ever. Oh, my God, I
- 1:17:13Speaker 4: love Zhang Zi. Isn't it all fucking backer test?
- 1:17:16Speaker 3: See, they have her listed as Zhang Zi, but I
- 1:17:19Speaker 3: was like, I thought they were trying to switch it
- 1:17:20Speaker 3: years after everybody got used to it.
- 1:17:23Speaker 4: No, but she's so cute.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: I don't even know who that is.
- 1:17:25Speaker 4: She's in Ratchet and Tiger, Hidden Hotness, or whatever.
- 1:17:31Speaker 3: Or The Wonders of Rush Hour 2.
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: Yes, The Wonders, that one.
- 1:17:36Speaker 3: Wonder why I paid to see that movie. Oh, that. So, yep,
- 1:17:38Speaker 3: she is going to.
- 1:17:41Speaker 4: I'm usually not big on Asian chicks, but God, she's...
- 1:17:44Speaker 4: I heard Lucy living up there.
- 1:17:45Speaker 3: Wasn't there a buzz somewhere? I think we lost it.
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: Congratulations.
- 1:17:50Speaker 3: Have fun.
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: I came in at the end.
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: That was not me.
- 1:18:00Speaker 3: I'm assuming we're done then.
- 1:18:01Speaker 4: Yes, we're done.
