- 0:00Speaker 1: Just got go walking in the snow. God damn there,
- 0:03Speaker 1: mom fuck co got walking in the snow. Got damn here,
- 0:06Speaker 1: mother fucking cot just got done walking in the snow.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Got damn there, momuck.
- 0:11Speaker 2: But that's all they had was just cartoons all the time.
- 0:15Speaker 2: And they had a cartoon they.
- 0:18Speaker 3: Annoying. I don't know how t was in the day.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Well, you're talking about a thing called commercials. Yeah, got it? Yeah,
- 0:28Speaker 2: weird story, right. Oh, and then what would happen is
- 0:33Speaker 2: it was all cartoons and they had oh man, Johnny Bravo.
- 0:37Speaker 2: But there was a show called Ed Johnny Bravo popped
- 0:39Speaker 2: in my head, don't know Ed, Ed and Eddie and
- 0:42Speaker 2: it was three dudes and they were One was named
- 0:45Speaker 2: Ed and then one was named Ed. And then there
- 0:48Speaker 2: was a third one. Can you guess his name? Maybe
- 0:51Speaker 2: Eddie Eddie? Yeah. And then there was a very stereotypical
- 0:56Speaker 2: Asian kid whose best friend was a piece of wood
- 1:00Speaker 2: and it was called plank What Yeah, but what's going on? Everybody?
- 1:08Speaker 2: I also on the Only the w O O K
- 1:11Speaker 2: I E. The ad that has too many jawbreakers, joined
- 1:15Speaker 2: along with my other co host, d also known as Cole.
- 1:22Speaker 4: I can't remember well enough if that is the best
- 1:25Speaker 4: Ed Ed or Eddie to be.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Yes, there was Ed and then there was double and
- 1:32Speaker 2: the Dexter can be our Eddie. Yay. I wouldn't yay
- 1:37Speaker 2: that if I go watch the show for and then
- 1:41Speaker 2: then tell me whether he was the Uh, well, just
- 1:44Speaker 2: go watch the show. But it's time for part two
- 1:48Speaker 2: of our spoiler episode. We had quite a long episode
- 1:51Speaker 2: last week. I don't know how long this one's going
- 1:53Speaker 2: to be. More stuff was revealed, spoiled if if you will,
- 2:01Speaker 2: all these spoilers, yet the sixty seventh best uh content
- 2:07Speaker 2: creator couldn't get one. Nope, I'm not. I'm not. My
- 2:13Speaker 2: my feelings aren't hurt.
- 2:16Speaker 4: You definitely have not mentioned it a time or two.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Never, you know, I'm gonna think I'm gonna mention it
- 2:21Speaker 2: until all of a sudden they're like, fine, we'll just
- 2:23Speaker 2: give it. And maybe they won't, maybe they just won't
- 2:25Speaker 2: even pay attention to us. Who knows. That's that's probably
- 2:29Speaker 2: what will happen.
- 2:31Speaker 4: I was going to hop on like an hour or
- 2:33Speaker 4: so early and put images in order of the ones
- 2:39Speaker 4: that were revealed between now and the last episode.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Yeah, because we have a few extra ones here. I
- 2:46Speaker 2: don't know. I didn't go back and really look what
- 2:49Speaker 2: was added.
- 2:51Speaker 4: Yeah, dexter DMed us a list, so we will just
- 2:56Speaker 4: give the artist and is Mere ones because we're doing
- 3:02Speaker 4: that in full on this episode.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah we are. I do like
- 3:07Speaker 2: some of the Lyra ones. I'm not gonna lie Willow
- 3:10Speaker 2: the whists kind of dope, like I don't it's not
- 3:12Speaker 2: a good card. I don't really think.
- 3:14Speaker 4: But it's better than you think, is it.
- 3:19Speaker 2: I don't know. I dig. I dig kind of the
- 3:22Speaker 2: aesthetic that's going on over there. The Magpen hoarder reminds
- 3:28Speaker 2: me of my wife hoards everything. My children don't have
- 3:30Speaker 2: school tomorrow, so if you hear things going on in
- 3:32Speaker 2: the background, that's them. There's an off day on mine.
- 3:36Speaker 4: Is there no school tomorrow?
- 3:39Speaker 3: Dude?
- 3:39Speaker 2: Who knows? Man? These kids get so many days off.
- 3:42Speaker 2: It's unreal. I feel like I feel like old man
- 3:45Speaker 2: who barks at cloud now too, because that's like all
- 3:48Speaker 2: I do is like complain about my children's school, and
- 3:51Speaker 2: I feel like that's all my parents did. Like you
- 3:53Speaker 2: kids get strong, mouny days off school, and now here
- 3:56Speaker 2: I am doing the same thing, Like why do you
- 3:58Speaker 2: have this random Monday, Like literally, they just had like
- 4:02Speaker 2: two days off. Yeah, they last week they had Monday off,
- 4:06Speaker 2: and then they called off Tuesday because it was too cold.
- 4:09Speaker 2: It was negative thirty three here in Wisconsin.
- 4:12Speaker 4: Oh it's a little cold, so.
- 4:14Speaker 2: They said it was too cold to go to school.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Some of my kids had exams, so they had to
- 4:21Speaker 2: like push all those back, and now they just have
- 4:24Speaker 2: another Monday off again. Why not? Right? So if you
- 4:27Speaker 2: do hear stuff in the background, it is it is
- 4:29Speaker 2: the little ones running around. The wife has decided to
- 4:33Speaker 2: give them some time to have a little bit of fun.
- 4:36Speaker 2: We all need a little bit of fun every now
- 4:38Speaker 2: and again. That's why we're all here. I saw ogre popping.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Where'd you go? Did you like invite him to chat?
- 4:42Speaker 4: And he's like, oh no, uh nope, Well fire off, hello.
- 4:49Speaker 2: My boxter.
- 4:50Speaker 4: The list that you put together, do you know which
- 4:53Speaker 4: ones are not or disonuse me?
- 4:56Speaker 3: Oh none of them are.
- 4:58Speaker 4: Oh look at that you made.
- 5:04Speaker 2: I don't know where he made. It was not shared
- 5:07Speaker 2: with me.
- 5:09Speaker 4: It definitely was.
- 5:11Speaker 2: I missed it. Then. Oh well, anyways, let's start out
- 5:16Speaker 2: with Hound. That's where we want to start, right Hound,
- 5:20Speaker 2: the two from hand two from reserve too to zero
- 5:23Speaker 2: when played from anywhere. If my expedition is behind, I
- 5:26Speaker 2: gained one boost, I'll talk. I don't know. Otherwise, just
- 5:33Speaker 2: send me over the list. I don't know.
- 5:36Speaker 4: It's in your DMS.
- 5:38Speaker 2: I don't see it. I'm blind. You have to help me.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Is it a link? What is it? Or is it
- 5:43Speaker 2: just just just his hand written list that Dexter put together.
- 5:50Speaker 2: It's like written in crown.
- 5:53Speaker 4: So so so should be our first.
- 5:56Speaker 2: All right, fine? What is what is so? And is
- 5:59Speaker 2: that in MOONA I'm guessing sounds like a moona card?
- 6:02Speaker 4: All right, let me card?
- 6:06Speaker 2: Let me fine? Is it an order of house or faction.
- 6:12Speaker 3: Or when it was released?
- 6:14Speaker 2: Oh boy, I'm gonna have to control f the siRNA. Alright,
- 6:17Speaker 2: so so s all w alright, So so back to
- 6:22Speaker 2: Mona we go. One from hand, one from a turned,
- 6:26Speaker 2: one from reserve, spell cool down. If I go to
- 6:29Speaker 2: reserve after my frenk resolves exhausty Exhausted cards can't be
- 6:33Speaker 2: played on and have no supportabilities. Target character gains one boost.
- 6:39Speaker 2: The rare version is a one for one again with
- 6:41Speaker 2: cool down. Target character gains one boost with a quick
- 6:46Speaker 2: I'm sorry. These both have quick actions a little different.
- 6:48Speaker 2: For the common one, the next character you play has
- 6:51Speaker 2: one boost this turn. For the Rare, it is target
- 6:55Speaker 2: character with cost with hand cost three or less games anchored,
- 7:01Speaker 2: and then it goes into Bravos with cool down target
- 7:06Speaker 2: character games on boost target character with hand costs three
- 7:09Speaker 2: or last gains actor same as the rare.
- 7:16Speaker 4: I don't know, Hey, this one's yeah. I was gonna
- 7:20Speaker 4: say this one's hard because I think the rare is
- 7:23Speaker 4: actually really good. Yeah, exactly, But it's a rare, so
- 7:31Speaker 4: we we know how we are, you know, selective about
- 7:37Speaker 4: our rares. I think that simple fact makes it probably
- 7:43Speaker 4: not going most decks the commons boost.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that maybe would be up there alley,
- 7:54Speaker 2: but maybe that they might have better out there. Yeah.
- 7:57Speaker 4: I think the the rare because it's the same in Bravos,
- 8:02Speaker 4: and of course it's at a faction, so it's also
- 8:04Speaker 4: a rare. I think it's I mean, it's low cost,
- 8:08Speaker 4: which is great, but I don't think the benefit is
- 8:13Speaker 4: good enough to warrant a rare slot. But who knows.
- 8:18Speaker 4: The quick action anchored ability is very good in Muna
- 8:25Speaker 4: and Bravos is seeing a lot of removal of fleeting
- 8:29Speaker 4: and cards sticking around, so maybe maybe we'll see it
- 8:32Speaker 4: get some play.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, next one up, also in Muna. I
- 8:38Speaker 2: swear we went over this one already, or maybe I
- 8:40Speaker 2: was just poking around Reddit.
- 8:41Speaker 3: And yet he was not fully revealed.
- 8:44Speaker 2: Okay, Jedi was the.
- 8:46Speaker 4: One that I told you I can't tell you what it.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Does, but I can't, all right, Yedi is a three
- 8:53Speaker 2: from hand for from reserve to too two. When played
- 8:55Speaker 2: from hand, it gains us sleep. When another character joins
- 8:59Speaker 2: my expedition, I gain one boost. The rare version is
- 9:04Speaker 2: a three three four two three three. When played from hand,
- 9:08Speaker 2: you may have me gain a sleep. When another character
- 9:11Speaker 2: joins your expedition, it gains one boost and the rare
- 9:16Speaker 2: just goes into I'm sorry, the uh faction split just
- 9:20Speaker 2: goes into bravos and it's the same as the rare.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Yep, great card. Love to see it and hopefully there
- 9:26Speaker 3: will be some busted uniques that can just have After
- 9:30Speaker 3: you play a card it gets two boosts or some
- 9:32Speaker 3: crazy stuff that I've seen.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Nah, it's not an artist get crazy yeah this yet
- 9:38Speaker 2: yetie is I It's probably going to be in.
- 9:42Speaker 3: Almost every yes, every moon.
- 9:45Speaker 4: Moon A deck it's a better codama and it's three
- 9:50Speaker 4: costs or less from hand, so it's gonna gain a
- 9:55Speaker 4: sleep when it first comes out, and then you're probably
- 9:57Speaker 4: just go to it. And you gotta think that if
- 10:02Speaker 4: you play this first and then even if you have
- 10:05Speaker 4: to wait until next turn, but you play like a
- 10:07Speaker 4: Dracaina or something day. Yeah, on Tasia, that's two boosts
- 10:12Speaker 4: for that Dracina, which is gonna also be auto anchored.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Good card. I don't know if Bravos runs this probably
- 10:22Speaker 3: probably some decks will I don't know, we'll.
- 10:25Speaker 2: See, probably not.
- 10:27Speaker 4: Yeah, Bravos has just got so many options this set
- 10:31Speaker 4: that it'll it'll be a hard fought slot.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Yeah, let's move into van Ky. This is an axiom.
- 10:39Speaker 2: He's the Energy Pioneer or she either or two from
- 10:44Speaker 2: hand two from reserve two to two. You may play exhausted
- 10:48Speaker 2: cards from your reserve. The rare version is two two
- 10:51Speaker 2: one to two. You may play exhausted cards from your
- 10:54Speaker 2: reserve and then exhausted reef supply and then the rare
- 11:00Speaker 2: gets transferred over in the ismir with the same as
- 11:03Speaker 2: the rare.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Yeah, this card is super good. I think pretty much
- 11:08Speaker 3: all axioms are going to be at least running the common,
- 11:12Speaker 3: and then I've seen a few people already playing on
- 11:15Speaker 3: BGA running the rare. I don't know if the rare
- 11:19Speaker 3: makes sense just because rare slots are limited, but we'll see.
- 11:23Speaker 4: Yeah, well it's only two from both areas and the
- 11:29Speaker 4: exhausted resupply and then being able to play it is
- 11:33Speaker 4: pretty good for Axiom. A lot of people were worried
- 11:37Speaker 4: about Traced in this set and the whole exhausted resupply thing.
- 11:42Speaker 4: I could easily see Traced running this rare. Yeah, in
- 11:49Speaker 4: deck a lot, just because it won't. It will make
- 11:53Speaker 4: it so your opponent cannot exhaust your reserve and it
- 11:58Speaker 4: stop you. And it'll also give you resupply, which.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Loves so off times, we're doing spoilers. Sorry, off topic,
- 12:07Speaker 2: I know we're doing spoilers, just you know, kind of
- 12:12Speaker 2: poking through. I'm still pretty casual in this game. I'm
- 12:15Speaker 2: not quite in the competitive realm yet, right. Why do
- 12:20Speaker 2: I feel like, you know, the whole thing was and
- 12:22Speaker 2: I'm you know, cale you were talking about this was
- 12:25Speaker 2: going to give options to or it's going to give
- 12:31Speaker 2: support to characters that may have not gotten it. Set one. Yeah,
- 12:36Speaker 2: I feel like we're just looking for better cards for
- 12:39Speaker 2: all the good heroes from set one.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean that or not? No, No, that's what
- 12:47Speaker 3: is happening.
- 12:49Speaker 4: I I still hold true that that is what this
- 12:55Speaker 4: set is one hundred percent.
- 12:59Speaker 2: I'm not saying it's not giving them support mm hmm,
- 13:03Speaker 2: but like, I don't feel it elevated any of those
- 13:06Speaker 2: heroes into the conversation.
- 13:08Speaker 3: Yeah, it's not enough in most cases for it to
- 13:11Speaker 3: bring them above like trace step honest whatever.
- 13:15Speaker 4: I don't know. I'm telling you Gulrang is already feeling
- 13:18Speaker 4: amazing and I haven't even.
- 13:21Speaker 2: What it's hard is. Does it ever feel bad?
- 13:25Speaker 4: I played Goulrang before Trial by Frost and lost seven
- 13:29Speaker 4: in a row.
- 13:31Speaker 3: Fair Yeah, games in a row on la route with
- 13:36Speaker 3: the updated list with YEA Frost cards.
- 13:39Speaker 4: I feel Yeah, the hard thing is is more support
- 13:45Speaker 4: for heroes that didn't have it very well before means
- 13:49Speaker 4: that the heroes that were good before also have access
- 13:52Speaker 4: to more options.
- 13:54Speaker 2: So fair enough, let's move into the Little match Girl.
- 14:01Speaker 3: I hate this card.
- 14:02Speaker 2: I wanted this card to be cooler than it was,
- 14:04Speaker 2: but I understand it's a family friendly game. Two from
- 14:07Speaker 2: hand three from reserve three to zero when played from
- 14:10Speaker 2: reserve if your hand is empty, draw card. The rare
- 14:15Speaker 2: two from hand, three from reserve, three two oho again
- 14:18Speaker 2: if you played from reserve, if your hand is empty,
- 14:20Speaker 2: draw card. If you're reserve is empty, draw card, and
- 14:25Speaker 2: then this moves into bravos being the common version.
- 14:31Speaker 3: Wookie talking about this being a family friendly game, I
- 14:35Speaker 3: did notice A fire Rabbit has some interesting flavor text.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Well, I'm gonna let you guys talk about this when
- 14:42Speaker 2: I go to look at fire Rabbit, hot funny in
- 14:47Speaker 2: your area wants to meet fair enough.
- 14:50Speaker 3: They just put that in a family friendly game.
- 14:53Speaker 2: I mean again, it's if you know, you know, right,
- 14:57Speaker 2: Like if I give that to my I like, well,
- 15:03Speaker 2: maybe my daughter might know. She's what fourteen now, so
- 15:08Speaker 2: she probably wouldn't, but you know, I'm her father, So
- 15:15Speaker 2: this should surprise no one.
- 15:18Speaker 4: This common is not bad. I think it could see
- 15:25Speaker 4: some play. The rare is just like giving you double
- 15:32Speaker 4: chance to draw a card. Can you draw two cards
- 15:36Speaker 4: if both are empty?
- 15:37Speaker 2: I'm assuming yes, Why would you not be able to?
- 15:40Speaker 4: Yeah, there's potential for the rare to be really good.
- 15:44Speaker 4: And although a lot of people hate zeros, a three
- 15:47Speaker 4: in a two on the top are not bad to have.
- 15:51Speaker 2: Say to that, says draw two. I mean again, it's
- 15:55Speaker 2: a rare, right, So it's a struggle, right, the struggle
- 15:58Speaker 2: is real.
- 16:00Speaker 4: Yeah, but yeah, not too terribly exciting. But the art
- 16:06Speaker 4: is cool and it could.
- 16:08Speaker 2: I wanted this little girl to be burning down a building.
- 16:13Speaker 2: When I saw it was called Little match Girl, I'm like, oh,
- 16:15Speaker 2: oh oh, that's disappointing. All right, let's move on to
- 16:21Speaker 2: another one of my this You know, this is one
- 16:23Speaker 2: of the great things about this game. They come up
- 16:26Speaker 2: with cards like Walris Scout, right, Like, why would you
- 16:31Speaker 2: not want Walris Scout. I mean, I get it. He's
- 16:36Speaker 2: not awesome, right, He's really not. But his name is
- 16:41Speaker 2: Walris Scout. He's a three three from hand one for
- 16:44Speaker 2: reserve one one three. He has no text whatsoever. In axiom,
- 16:49Speaker 2: they're rare is the same three one one one two. However,
- 16:53Speaker 2: when played from observe, you may exhaust target card and reserve,
- 16:58Speaker 2: which is where you want to play him from anyways,
- 17:01Speaker 2: and then the rare goes I'm sorry, the shift that
- 17:04Speaker 2: goes to Muna with the rares ability.
- 17:09Speaker 3: That's a weird card to see in Muna. You think
- 17:11Speaker 3: Muna runs this call just to get some exhausted interaction.
- 17:15Speaker 3: I don't like it. You don't have a throwing cards
- 17:18Speaker 3: at reserve.
- 17:19Speaker 4: Yeah, I maybe maybe Rin, Maybe Rin does use it's
- 17:27Speaker 4: the rare. The rare slot is harder for me to
- 17:31Speaker 4: about until I start.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Let's not talk about where he's going to be played.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Let's talk about that sweet mustache.
- 17:39Speaker 4: I love the art on this card is very cool
- 17:42Speaker 4: reading it now though, I'm realizing this is a very
- 17:46Speaker 4: good card for trade. Yes, it's it's similar to whatever
- 17:52Speaker 4: that card is. Yeah, and yeah, it's got decent stats
- 17:58Speaker 4: if you can fit the rare. It's always nice to
- 18:02Speaker 4: have a little bit of form of sabotage.
- 18:06Speaker 2: And he has a sweet mustache.
- 18:10Speaker 4: Yeah. Just so you think that the Walrus Scout is
- 18:16Speaker 4: the Bravos what's his name turned into a walrace.
- 18:23Speaker 3: Oh, he does kind of like that guy.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Is there magic like that in this world? I don't think.
- 18:29Speaker 2: I don't know, like the transform.
- 18:33Speaker 4: Maybe got polymorphed. Yeah, Bravos Trailbrazer Blazer turned into a Scout.
- 18:38Speaker 2: I don't know if this is a harpoon on his
- 18:41Speaker 2: back or some sort of laser gun.
- 18:44Speaker 4: Looks like sonar.
- 18:46Speaker 2: That could be two that it could be radio. I'm
- 18:48Speaker 2: gonna go with Harpoon. It's pretty sweet. All right, What
- 18:54Speaker 2: do we got next? I'm trying to go off Dexter's list,
- 18:56Speaker 2: because Dexter went in order of which they were released,
- 19:01Speaker 2: and I'm trying to just scroll down. I believe. I
- 19:07Speaker 2: believe Vishva Karma is the next one. I was going
- 19:11Speaker 2: to butcher that if you didn't say it, just letting
- 19:13Speaker 2: you know, I was going to just absolutely annihilate that name.
- 19:16Speaker 2: But five from hand five from reserve three three three.
- 19:20Speaker 2: When played from anywhere, the next permanent you play this
- 19:22Speaker 2: Afternoon cost four or less, the rare is a four
- 19:26Speaker 2: four for two to two two, and the next permanent
- 19:28Speaker 2: you play this Afternoon costs three lass and the rare
- 19:32Speaker 2: goes to ortis still I whatever.
- 19:39Speaker 4: Made it obviously a card targeted towards Sierra. I feel like, though,
- 19:47Speaker 4: or subash even, I feel that this is the kind
- 19:50Speaker 4: of card where I put it in my deck because
- 19:53Speaker 4: I really want the interaction to work out, but the
- 19:57Speaker 4: chance that it actually works out how I on it
- 20:00Speaker 4: to probably doesn't come up enough.
- 20:04Speaker 2: And it's one of those things where you're like, yeah,
- 20:07Speaker 2: it definitely does. And then when you play, You're like, Okay,
- 20:09Speaker 2: it definitely doesn't.
- 20:11Speaker 4: Yeah, because I mean you're.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Talking about it does happen, it's five or like seven stats.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Yeah, it's always it's Christmas Land right when it does happen,
- 20:19Speaker 2: it's fucking sweet, right, like it's the greatest thing ever.
- 20:23Speaker 2: But yeah, it's you're like, oh man, this doesn't happen
- 20:25Speaker 2: very often.
- 20:27Speaker 4: Yeah, if you're lucky enough to play Vishva and then
- 20:31Speaker 4: a brass bug hive, it's pretty decent. But I feel
- 20:35Speaker 4: like for that risk, her stats should be four four
- 20:41Speaker 4: four for the mane cost.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Yes, four four four for four is that what you're
- 20:47Speaker 2: talking about? For five five.
- 20:50Speaker 5: Five?
- 20:50Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a little less.
- 20:51Speaker 3: You never run this rare.
- 20:54Speaker 2: I don't ever say never, all right, frozen delivery. Every
- 21:00Speaker 2: time I see this card, I only think of what
- 21:03Speaker 2: was that book? And then it was movies? Hunger Games?
- 21:09Speaker 2: Just me all right? Cool?
- 21:10Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 21:11Speaker 4: Why I am a Hunger Games hater?
- 21:14Speaker 2: Yeah? One one from hand, one from reserve. It does
- 21:17Speaker 2: have cool down resupply. Put the top card of your
- 21:20Speaker 2: deck into your reserve. The rare is a one to
- 21:23Speaker 2: one exhausted resupply and then again goes to mouna one
- 21:29Speaker 2: one for an exhausted reef supply.
- 21:35Speaker 4: Doombringer says, this is the greatest card of all time.
- 21:39Speaker 4: So you heard it from.
- 21:41Speaker 2: The I mean, I do believe we just went over
- 21:44Speaker 2: a card that says you're allowed to play cards from
- 21:48Speaker 2: your You're allowed to play exhausted cards from your reserve. Yeah,
- 21:53Speaker 2: I mean, why we're at three already. It's a little rough,
- 21:59Speaker 2: but I mean maybe I don't know.
- 22:01Speaker 4: Okay, I was gonna say, why would you play the rare?
- 22:03Speaker 4: But then I realized it doesn't have cool that.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I would still like it more common probably, Yeah.
- 22:11Speaker 4: The comments pretty nice. I also do like it in
- 22:14Speaker 4: Muna because there are not many one cost card options
- 22:18Speaker 4: in Muna. So maybe because of that Harvest mm hmm harvest.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Maybe maybe Right now, Dextra says weird things even in Keith,
- 22:34Speaker 2: and I see that as transferred over. That's just some
- 22:38Speaker 2: weird stuff, all right.
- 22:40Speaker 4: I mean the Harvest is all right.
- 22:42Speaker 2: But yeah, let's move into the only faction that really
- 22:45Speaker 2: matters lyra Right, we got the magpen Horder, which is
- 22:50Speaker 2: a penguin that has stuff. He even has a backpack.
- 22:54Speaker 2: How cool is that? Two from hand two for reserve
- 22:57Speaker 2: two to two when played from anywhere, if you have
- 22:59Speaker 2: two or more cards in reserve, it gains one boost
- 23:02Speaker 2: and fleeting for the rare it is again to two
- 23:05Speaker 2: two to two. Man, that's a lot of two's when
- 23:09Speaker 2: played from anywhere. If I have two or more cards
- 23:11Speaker 2: in reserve, I gained two boosts in fleeting and then
- 23:13Speaker 2: it goes over to axiom, which is the same as
- 23:16Speaker 2: the rare. Oh my god, sorry, I just read the
- 23:23Speaker 2: flavor text and just immediately thought of my wife, why
- 23:26Speaker 2: does it need all these my come in handy someday?
- 23:31Speaker 4: Yeah, that is kind of me. How did how did
- 23:34Speaker 4: we get magpeg quarter?
- 23:36Speaker 5: Though?
- 23:36Speaker 3: Is that?
- 23:39Speaker 4: I was like, why do I not see this on
- 23:41Speaker 4: Dexter's list?
- 23:42Speaker 2: I'm not sure, but I know we didn't go through
- 23:44Speaker 2: it last week. Yes, trust you me. I know a
- 23:48Speaker 2: penguin when I see one. Didn't see one last.
- 23:52Speaker 3: Uh.
- 23:53Speaker 4: If I have two or more cards in reserve against.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Oh, I'm sorry. You are You are one hundred percent correctraconus.
- 24:00Speaker 2: He is not the same. He is the common version
- 24:03Speaker 2: in axiom. You are correct.
- 24:06Speaker 4: Oh yeah, if you have too, so this is kind
- 24:12Speaker 4: of more fenn right, there's no zero's.
- 24:16Speaker 2: I don't really rare definitely, or I guess maybe the Venka.
- 24:24Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean to Manna for a to to two
- 24:28Speaker 4: is not very risky, and then the chance of getting boosts.
- 24:35Speaker 4: I don't know off the top of my head how
- 24:37Speaker 4: much removed leading tech that Lyra.
- 24:41Speaker 2: Has to go down, like one hundred percent has to
- 24:47Speaker 2: go down first in an Avenka deck, not so much
- 24:50Speaker 2: in Fenn. Yeah, I don't know. Still cool, It's still
- 24:57Speaker 2: a penguin that has stuff in things.
- 25:01Speaker 4: It is very cool. Art Dexter doesn't have too many
- 25:04Speaker 4: opinions until we get to or it is.
- 25:07Speaker 3: Oh yeah, well, I honestly don't like this card at all,
- 25:13Speaker 3: but whatever.
- 25:14Speaker 2: I mean, it's fine. Next. It's always the cool cards
- 25:19Speaker 2: that don't get played, right, Like, it's always the sweet
- 25:23Speaker 2: cards that don't get played always well. The wisps a
- 25:28Speaker 2: three two with zero zero three. If your expedition facing
- 25:31Speaker 2: me is in water, it can only move forward due
- 25:35Speaker 2: to water. The rare is a three three zero zero four.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Same thing. If the expedition is facing me in water,
- 25:43Speaker 2: I'm sorry. If the expedition facing me is in water,
- 25:46Speaker 2: it can only move forward due to water. The faction
- 25:51Speaker 2: shifted to moon is a little different. Three to two
- 25:55Speaker 2: three zero zero. If the expedition facing me is in forest,
- 26:00Speaker 2: it can only move to to.
- 26:01Speaker 3: Forest and then they all have supportability.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Oh yeah, sorry, the next card you play costs one less.
- 26:12Speaker 4: Mm hmm.
- 26:13Speaker 3: I like all three honestly or solid yep.
- 26:17Speaker 4: I played this winter by winter Coats. Yeah that's a
- 26:23Speaker 4: good point too. I did not pull a winter coat
- 26:25Speaker 4: in my sealed event. Well, I played Willow the Wisp
- 26:30Speaker 4: in sealed. Uh. This card is amazing. One because it's
- 26:35Speaker 4: more a rock support, two because it's rinse support and muna,
- 26:40Speaker 4: and three it blocks small step.
- 26:44Speaker 3: Because do that.
- 26:47Speaker 4: Yeah, so I I dig it. It's a little bit
- 26:52Speaker 4: of some good counterplay while also getting performance counters.
- 26:58Speaker 2: Yeehaw, all need those performance counters, all right? Nice. I
- 27:08Speaker 2: know Aroc likes performance counters. I get it. I just
- 27:12Speaker 2: don't see it becoming what's the word I'm looking for,
- 27:19Speaker 2: viable in any way? There you go. Yeah, I don't.
- 27:22Speaker 2: I just don't see a Roc becoming a thing. You
- 27:25Speaker 2: got my hopes we'll.
- 27:26Speaker 4: See I believe I believe you believe we're on the
- 27:31Speaker 4: magic Sleigh.
- 27:32Speaker 2: I believe we're on Niece, which is not on the list. Again.
- 27:37Speaker 2: I know a gnome when I see one, and I
- 27:38Speaker 2: didn't see one last time we talked. He is a
- 27:42Speaker 2: three from hand let us down? He let us down
- 27:44Speaker 2: three from hand, three from reserve three oh three when
- 27:47Speaker 2: played from hand, roll a die on a four plus
- 27:50Speaker 2: resupply on a one through three exhausted resupply for the
- 27:54Speaker 2: rare three to two three oh three played from hand,
- 27:58Speaker 2: roll a die on a four US resupply on a
- 28:01Speaker 2: one through three exhausted resupply. That's weird. How the I
- 28:08Speaker 2: don't know? I'm sorry? And then the it's the same.
- 28:12Speaker 2: I believe this is the same thing. I'm trying to fit.
- 28:15Speaker 2: What's the difference beside? I mean they just took two
- 28:18Speaker 2: off the reserve. Yeah, it costs one less. The factionship
- 28:23Speaker 2: is an axiom, but it's the common version. I guess
- 28:28Speaker 2: what we just I just boost?
- 28:31Speaker 3: Like?
- 28:31Speaker 2: I when do I ever really honestly play this from reserve?
- 28:36Speaker 3: Ever?
- 28:38Speaker 2: Never? Right? Like it doesn't do anything?
- 28:41Speaker 4: Yep. This is another one I played in my sealed
- 28:45Speaker 4: deck and it's a lot of fun. It's a performance
- 28:49Speaker 4: counter and considering parts that have zeros, it has stats
- 28:55Speaker 4: in decent places and decent stats. So, uh, axiom, are you.
- 29:04Speaker 2: Probably a skip I don't think this finds a place
- 29:07Speaker 2: in any lyraid deck. I'm not gonna lie to you.
- 29:09Speaker 4: It's our rock, it's all ro.
- 29:11Speaker 2: Yeah, but I think there's still things better.
- 29:15Speaker 4: Maybe we'll see. I haven't. I haven't put one together
- 29:19Speaker 4: with the full set yet.
- 29:21Speaker 3: But he was just fun in.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Sealed, so I could definitely see it being fun and
- 29:25Speaker 2: sealed like a sealed Maybe that's this could be a
- 29:27Speaker 2: sealed all Star, right, But I don't know and constructed,
- 29:32Speaker 2: I don't know the magic sleigh for from hand, for
- 29:38Speaker 2: from reserve, it's an expedition permanent. If my expedition would
- 29:43Speaker 2: move forward during dusk, it moves twice instead. The rare
- 29:51Speaker 2: is three to three. It has fleeting if it's played
- 29:54Speaker 2: from hand again, if it's expedition would if my expedition
- 30:00Speaker 2: and would move forward during dusk, it moves twice instead.
- 30:04Speaker 2: And then I think this card might be a problem
- 30:07Speaker 2: in the in the Bravos sector, does the same thing
- 30:10Speaker 2: as the rare moving twice? Yeah?
- 30:16Speaker 4: Do do the cards that remove fleeting specify? It has
- 30:20Speaker 4: to be a character. That's a question I haven't thought
- 30:24Speaker 4: of until just now.
- 30:27Speaker 2: You know, I would have to go back and look
- 30:29Speaker 2: at the cards that remove fleeting.
- 30:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I will look while I also tell you that
- 30:35Speaker 4: this card is fucking amazing. This cards, it's gonna be
- 30:39Speaker 4: so much fun.
- 30:40Speaker 2: And this is probably this one might Yeah, it's definitely.
- 30:46Speaker 2: I think it's gonna be a three of No, definitely.
- 30:50Speaker 4: I I usually more often do two when it comes
- 30:54Speaker 4: to landmarks, unless it's an incredibly important lend mark with
- 31:01Speaker 4: years ago.
- 31:02Speaker 2: This isn't a landmark. This is an expedition permanent.
- 31:06Speaker 4: Yeah, I will say I think I just run the common.
- 31:11Speaker 4: But it is a ton of fun and you can
- 31:15Speaker 4: do it super sneaky.
- 31:18Speaker 2: I want.
- 31:18Speaker 4: I won my first match at pre release with it.
- 31:23Speaker 4: I just put it down and I was against someone
- 31:27Speaker 4: who was going to move once as well to meet
- 31:33Speaker 4: their hero to their companion. But since I put down
- 31:37Speaker 4: the sleigh and I moved one beyond, I won instead
- 31:40Speaker 4: of having to go to arena.
- 31:45Speaker 2: Hmmm interesting. Yeah, it's it's like this card a lot.
- 31:50Speaker 2: I actually think this card. We somebody is gonna break
- 31:53Speaker 2: this card. Somebody's this is this card will get broken
- 31:57Speaker 2: somehow somewhere.
- 31:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:59Speaker 4: So, for an example, Bravos Vanguard does say another target
- 32:04Speaker 4: character loves fleeting. So the Bravos one is kind of
- 32:09Speaker 4: unfortunate that it gains fleeting for three cost and what
- 32:13Speaker 4: this does, like.
- 32:15Speaker 2: Still I think might be worth it?
- 32:17Speaker 4: Yeah, it it does. It might be indeed, because the
- 32:22Speaker 4: other thing is the gear doesn't go anywhere until it
- 32:28Speaker 4: makes your end.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Until you move forward, right, yeah.
- 32:32Speaker 4: So if it has fleeting, that just means you can't
- 32:34Speaker 4: play it twice.
- 32:36Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, that's why I was thinking, like three of
- 32:41Speaker 2: might be might be the way, but maybe maybe not.
- 32:44Speaker 2: We'll see. Wow, this card's busted. Well sorry, I just
- 32:48Speaker 2: looked at the stats. I don't know what it does.
- 32:49Speaker 2: The machine and the ice from Axiom one from hand,
- 32:54Speaker 2: three from reserve, five to three five when I go
- 32:57Speaker 2: to reserve from anywhere exhausts me all when played from
- 33:02Speaker 2: hand sent me to reserve, I was like, wow, this
- 33:09Speaker 2: thing's nuts. So I just want to play this from reserve.
- 33:15Speaker 2: But even still, like, does Axiom have waves? Don't they have? No?
- 33:22Speaker 2: Honest say, don't they have ways to mess with reserve
- 33:25Speaker 2: from hand?
- 33:27Speaker 4: So there's a card that will expand your reserve if
- 33:33Speaker 4: you have an exhausted card.
- 33:35Speaker 2: But there's no way to take a card from hand
- 33:37Speaker 2: and put it in my reserve. Uh, with a card axiom.
- 33:46Speaker 4: I don't think a card interaction from what I remember,
- 33:49Speaker 4: because slide of hand is in Yismir and Lyra. I
- 33:55Speaker 4: think where this card could be really good is with
- 34:01Speaker 4: that card that lets you play exhausted cards, or there's
- 34:08Speaker 4: like I said, I forgot which one it is. It's
- 34:12Speaker 4: one of the permanents, isn't it. Yeah, the kilanic heater,
- 34:15Speaker 4: you may play exhausted cards from your reserve.
- 34:18Speaker 2: In my eye, trying to get around paying that extra one,
- 34:22Speaker 2: trying to get around paying the one.
- 34:25Speaker 4: So it I mean, as long as it doesn't get sabotaged,
- 34:28Speaker 4: it's a good card and it's cool.
- 34:31Speaker 2: So we didn't go through the other ones. The rare
- 34:36Speaker 2: is one from hand to from reserve for two four
- 34:39Speaker 2: it's the exact same thing, and then it goes to
- 34:42Speaker 2: the muna and it's the common version.
- 34:47Speaker 4: This can get anchored, so easily this might be very
- 34:51Speaker 4: good in muna.
- 34:53Speaker 2: Does Moon I have a way to mess with the hate,
- 34:56Speaker 2: you know, putting cards in here? I know Lyra I
- 34:58Speaker 2: can put there's certain cards that allow me to put
- 35:02Speaker 2: cards in my hand in reserve and then take cards
- 35:04Speaker 2: from a reserve and put them into my hand. They
- 35:08Speaker 2: don't have that ability in munar axiom.
- 35:13Speaker 4: Axiom pointed out by Sayonara Bruh in the Audience that
- 35:17Speaker 4: thank you Ada Lovelace is when you play Ada Lovelace
- 35:22Speaker 4: from reserve, you may put a card from your hand
- 35:25Speaker 4: in reserve and then it says if it's a permanent
- 35:28Speaker 4: draw card, so Ada Lovelace and then Traced just kind
- 35:32Speaker 4: of himself deals with, you know, moving things between hand
- 35:37Speaker 4: and reserve and out into expedition MUNA.
- 35:41Speaker 2: Uh in the.
- 35:44Speaker 4: News set, do they have one of the cards that does.
- 35:47Speaker 2: The I don't think so. Not in the new set.
- 35:49Speaker 3: I can't think of any Yeah, it's just.
- 35:52Speaker 4: Good in MUNA because it's good stats and you can
- 35:54Speaker 4: anchor it.
- 35:55Speaker 2: Just fantastic stats for I mean for stat to frost ratio, like, yeah,
- 36:01Speaker 2: holy crap, that's uh, that's ballin. But yeah, I was
- 36:08Speaker 2: just wondering. I didn't know. I didn't know if there
- 36:10Speaker 2: was a way to kind of like mess with things again.
- 36:13Speaker 4: Oh, I guess there's there's reepotter otter.
- 36:17Speaker 3: Each card.
- 36:19Speaker 4: Each player may put a card from their hand in reserve,
- 36:24Speaker 4: So there's that, but you also do give your opponent
- 36:28Speaker 4: the options.
- 36:29Speaker 2: It yeah, five at a five three five though I
- 36:37Speaker 2: don't know.
- 36:39Speaker 4: I like it better than the other robot card that
- 36:45Speaker 4: makes you sacrifice something. Uh the Flawed Prototype.
- 36:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't like that one at all.
- 36:54Speaker 4: Yeah, it's yeah. I We're gonna have to wait for
- 36:58Speaker 4: doom Bringer to see if Flawed Prototype is played. But
- 37:04Speaker 4: for me, it's a it's a hard justification for what
- 37:09Speaker 4: it is.
- 37:11Speaker 2: M now it makes me want to break it. Okay, Anyways,
- 37:14Speaker 2: armor Rock. Didn't we go through this card last time?
- 37:16Speaker 2: Was there something not revealed about armor Rock?
- 37:19Speaker 3: Uh?
- 37:19Speaker 2: One of the Yeah, one of the cards wasn't revealed.
- 37:24Speaker 3: I think it was the user version, which it's just
- 37:28Speaker 3: the same as the common Wien skip.
- 37:30Speaker 2: That perfect into ortis the faction we all love to
- 37:36Speaker 2: hate as I scroll a lot. All right, so we
- 37:41Speaker 2: already went through Hound because I jumped the gun. Uh,
- 37:47Speaker 2: my bad. Let's go into the Ortis Overseer two two
- 37:51Speaker 2: another procrat Jimminy Crickets.
- 37:54Speaker 3: I love this this guy is so good.
- 37:57Speaker 2: One one too. If my expedition is behind created Ortis
- 38:00Speaker 2: recruit one one one soldier token in my expedition. On
- 38:04Speaker 2: the quick effect, it can create a one one one
- 38:07Speaker 2: ortist recruit token in target.
- 38:09Speaker 3: Ex quick effect.
- 38:10Speaker 2: Of course you are. Why wouldn't you be? Rare version
- 38:15Speaker 2: is a two to one one two when played from hand,
- 38:20Speaker 2: it does creates that orders recruit. I'm sorry, it creates
- 38:25Speaker 2: an orders recruit in my expedition for each bureaucrat. You
- 38:28Speaker 2: can fucking christ.
- 38:30Speaker 3: I do not run the rare like it's gonna make
- 38:33Speaker 3: like you.
- 38:34Speaker 4: Play Waroo and you don't run.
- 38:36Speaker 2: You don't run the rare. Why didn't they just call
- 38:40Speaker 2: this card Wahoo overseer? How does this not slide in
- 38:46Speaker 2: your deck? Smeal? This should slide.
- 38:48Speaker 3: I need all my cards to be able to be
- 38:50Speaker 3: played early on. And if I'm wasting a rare slot
- 38:54Speaker 3: in this and then only getting one token from it,
- 38:56Speaker 3: it's not worth the rare slot.
- 38:58Speaker 2: I think you're doing it wrong. If you're only getting
- 39:00Speaker 2: one token from.
- 39:01Speaker 3: This too, I can't spend the rare slo.
- 39:09Speaker 2: Doesn't it count itself? It does, so you're bare minimum,
- 39:14Speaker 2: But no, my mad.
- 39:24Speaker 3: Of getting one more token, it's not worth the rare.
- 39:29Speaker 4: I I will say that this is a three of
- 39:32Speaker 4: three or a three already right away for my lorring deck.
- 39:38Speaker 4: Common is very good for and I yeah, I've already
- 39:45Speaker 4: played Artist Overseer and she's great.
- 39:49Speaker 2: It doesn't get faction shifted into Muna, which is the
- 39:52Speaker 2: same as the Common. I'm sorry, muna into and it
- 39:56Speaker 2: is the common, all right.
- 39:58Speaker 4: I I had to comment on that artist Overseer because
- 40:01Speaker 4: I do like it, but I'll leave this next one
- 40:04Speaker 4: to Dexter and I'm gonna go get some feat for
- 40:08Speaker 4: my cold tozies.
- 40:10Speaker 2: It's like forty Texas, it's cold. It was four degrees
- 40:15Speaker 2: today in Wisconsin. Anyways. The artist night Warden two from
- 40:20Speaker 2: hand two from reserve two to two. When I gain
- 40:23Speaker 2: a sleep, I gain a boost. The rare version is
- 40:28Speaker 2: a three three two two two if I would if
- 40:31Speaker 2: I would gain a sleep, I gain anchored instead, and
- 40:36Speaker 2: then this goes into Lyra and it is the rare version.
- 40:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 40:40Speaker 3: So I definitely run this at Common in Waru just because,
- 40:44Speaker 3: like I said, I want to have a low curve
- 40:47Speaker 3: and just play as many guys as I can.
- 40:48Speaker 2: You don't play the rare is very good? Do you
- 40:51Speaker 2: play the overseer at Common? I have to.
- 40:52Speaker 3: Imagine Peah okay, all right, And then at Lyra it
- 40:58Speaker 3: seems pretty good too. If you say a man, that
- 41:00Speaker 3: guy give him boosts and then he gets anchored. That
- 41:03Speaker 3: could be pretty strong.
- 41:06Speaker 4: Yep, this is a cool card I although do not
- 41:10Speaker 4: play it in Goring.
- 41:11Speaker 2: I just weird. It's also it's also another bureaucrat dexter. Yeah,
- 41:16Speaker 2: that's why I run three so artists overseer could create
- 41:21Speaker 2: another recruit.
- 41:23Speaker 3: Really, the only change I've made so far for my
- 41:25Speaker 3: Waroo in Trial by Frost is to add three overseers
- 41:28Speaker 3: and three night wardens. That common.
- 41:31Speaker 4: You haven't added any new uh trial by Frost rays yet?
- 41:36Speaker 3: I don't have any. I haven't opened any yet.
- 41:39Speaker 4: Did you You Have you gotten a whole box or
- 41:42Speaker 4: just done the faction breaks?
- 41:43Speaker 3: So I did the whole box with the ortis.
- 41:46Speaker 2: Wait we did a faction break or Trial by Frost?
- 41:50Speaker 4: This need went and did the ogre.
- 41:53Speaker 3: And Aaron did it ags, So I got.
- 41:57Speaker 2: Ortis live in person instead of Yeah it.
- 42:00Speaker 3: Was in person, So I got orders an axiom.
- 42:02Speaker 2: And that's like man, I would have been in on that.
- 42:08Speaker 4: So the reports I'm hearing so far is one box
- 42:12Speaker 4: should get you just a yeah, all of the commons,
- 42:17Speaker 4: but the rares are still going to be what we're
- 42:19Speaker 4: searching for you and.
- 42:22Speaker 3: The next one to get all the rares.
- 42:24Speaker 4: Yeah, this next one is one.
- 42:25Speaker 2: I really need dedicated ensign. I don't know how she's
- 42:32Speaker 2: I don't know how it's an ensign, but okay, three
- 42:35Speaker 2: three four four four with defender. If my expedition is behind,
- 42:40Speaker 2: Defender characters don't prevent it from moving forward. The Rare
- 42:45Speaker 2: is a three three with three three three also with defender.
- 42:50Speaker 2: If my expedition is behind, same thing doesn't prevent it
- 42:53Speaker 2: from moving forward. When played from hand, create an Ordist
- 42:57Speaker 2: recruit one one soldier token in Target Expedition, it does
- 43:02Speaker 2: get faction shifted into Yazmir. It is the common version.
- 43:08Speaker 3: Why do you need the rare here? I like the
- 43:10Speaker 3: common just fine in goal.
- 43:12Speaker 4: Right, Yeah, I was. I was thinking about that after
- 43:15Speaker 4: I said that, I think I actually don't have three
- 43:18Speaker 4: of the common yet, and I really want three, because yeah,
- 43:23Speaker 4: this card is just amazing. No I do I do
- 43:26Speaker 4: have three.
- 43:32Speaker 2: We got to talk about this card because still confuses me. Oh,
- 43:38Speaker 2: maybe you'll explain it when you're.
- 43:39Speaker 4: Talking about if you think about it. In gul Ring,
- 43:44Speaker 4: this is a three manna and it is a five
- 43:51Speaker 4: five five instead of a four four four, And it's
- 43:55Speaker 4: also in Target Expedition, so you can pick where the
- 44:00Speaker 4: root is and it's a from anywhere ability.
- 44:05Speaker 3: If it's behind, defenders don't prevent it. So that's it
- 44:09Speaker 3: is very strong. I like the common a lot. The
- 44:12Speaker 3: rare could work in some glorying builds, but you know,
- 44:15Speaker 3: rare slots are always limited. I don't see running.
- 44:20Speaker 4: Uh yeah, I I don't see why you would. I
- 44:26Speaker 4: don't know off the top of my head, if there's enough.
- 44:32Speaker 4: I mean the moths, I guess if you go a
- 44:35Speaker 4: moth or crystals, yeah, yeah, so maybe maybe you have
- 44:40Speaker 4: a good Chrysalis unique. Maybe you have a moth and
- 44:43Speaker 4: crystalist build, then maybe you play it in use mirror.
- 44:47Speaker 4: But for Wookie, so Defender, if you just read it there,
- 44:51Speaker 4: my expedition can't advance during dusk. So the way that
- 44:55Speaker 4: I always see it is these people are like standing.
- 45:00Speaker 2: Oh no, that makes more sense the whole thing. Okay,
- 45:04Speaker 2: So when I read mobile Artillery, I read it all
- 45:08Speaker 2: as one right when it says Defender, okay, so we
- 45:11Speaker 2: might as well go through mobile artillery. It's a one
- 45:13Speaker 2: to one. It is an expedition permanent. It creates a
- 45:17Speaker 2: soldier token in the expedition. The rare is still one
- 45:20Speaker 2: one still creates a soldier token Defender, and then I
- 45:25Speaker 2: kind of added this into it, thinking it was all
- 45:27Speaker 2: just one says characters don't prevent my expedition. Defender characters
- 45:33Speaker 2: don't prevent I thought that, and I just for whatever reason,
- 45:37Speaker 2: I'm thinking it's Defender, and I'm like, what, you know
- 45:40Speaker 2: what I mean? And I just I now that it's
- 45:42Speaker 2: like separate read it aloud, you know, clearly, Yeah, it
- 45:49Speaker 2: makes sense. The Defender characters don't prevent my expedition from
- 45:52Speaker 2: moving forward, gets faction shifted into the ismir never mind,
- 45:56Speaker 2: I understand it now now that I've read it for
- 45:59Speaker 2: the seventeen time.
- 46:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I think a warm fine, you run it and
- 46:04Speaker 3: gor Rang probably.
- 46:06Speaker 4: Yep, yep. The rare is obviously pretty good in Goring.
- 46:11Speaker 4: The common is not bad at all in Goring. If
- 46:16Speaker 4: you don't have enough rares, it's just a good card.
- 46:22Speaker 4: Once again, if you're going for that Yuzmeer build we
- 46:26Speaker 4: were just talking about. I think this card is way
- 46:33Speaker 4: easier of an inclusion than the Sunisa because it is
- 46:41Speaker 4: going to give you the recruit, which with Lindaway maybe
- 46:43Speaker 4: you sacrifice the recruit. And then also if you have
- 46:48Speaker 4: Crysalist and other things, it's going to allow those to
- 46:51Speaker 4: move forward.
- 46:52Speaker 3: Yep. And then I think the common you could also
- 46:55Speaker 3: run at Sigi. That might be some things, just another
- 46:59Speaker 3: one drop that makes a token.
- 47:01Speaker 4: Yeah, or dispassion Siggy's as well, for sure. And we've
- 47:06Speaker 4: already seen some uniques have permanent requirements, so that might
- 47:10Speaker 4: be where these come in.
- 47:12Speaker 3: And be just something permanent to throw down.
- 47:14Speaker 2: Yep. All right, let's go through confuses me so much
- 47:24Speaker 2: odd lore in this game. Right, you have like very
- 47:27Speaker 2: like you have like ditty characters from all over, and
- 47:32Speaker 2: then you have Ebenezer's Scrooge. There's just a character from
- 47:37Speaker 2: a book. But why why did he be in this game?
- 47:43Speaker 4: This is where we need Ogre, because Ogre knows the
- 47:47Speaker 4: lore a little better than me of.
- 47:51Speaker 2: Scrooge, or the lore of Alters.
- 47:54Speaker 4: The lore of Altered. The way that I explain it
- 48:00Speaker 4: easy way is basically, there was a occurrence that smashed
- 48:05Speaker 4: you know, worlds together, and that's why there's like all
- 48:08Speaker 4: these myths and legends and gods and everything in the world.
- 48:13Speaker 4: And yes, and what I always tell people is because
- 48:21Speaker 4: of this, nothing is off limits. Besides, you know, things
- 48:26Speaker 4: that are off copywritten. There's a Winnie the Pooh card.
- 48:32Speaker 4: It exists, it exists, it's been made. It's called Winnie
- 48:35Speaker 4: the Cook. It cannot be released because it is actually
- 48:39Speaker 4: not public ip in the UK.
- 48:43Speaker 2: Oh weird.
- 48:46Speaker 3: How do you know about this?
- 48:48Speaker 4: I pay too much attention.
- 48:50Speaker 2: Because Cole knows stuff. It doesn't mean he's gonna let
- 48:53Speaker 2: us know all the stuff. He just knows things.
- 48:56Speaker 4: Winnie the Cook is something that anyone can know. And
- 49:00Speaker 4: the picture is they're going. It's been posted on the
- 49:02Speaker 4: discord a couple times.
- 49:03Speaker 2: The faster you come to this realization, Dexter that Cole
- 49:06Speaker 2: is just going to drop like a little bit of
- 49:08Speaker 2: knowledge on you, and like he knows things about what's
- 49:12Speaker 2: going on with Alter that he won't share. The faster,
- 49:16Speaker 2: the faster you're you're okay with it, The faster we
- 49:19Speaker 2: can all move forward. I've come to grips with it,
- 49:22Speaker 2: like six episodes ago. But he is. He is a
- 49:28Speaker 2: three three for three three three doesn't have any sort
- 49:33Speaker 2: of text on the common, but he does have a
- 49:35Speaker 2: quick action target characters you control with hand costs for
- 49:38Speaker 2: or less gain A sleep the rare is a three
- 49:43Speaker 2: three for three through three cards played from reserve cost
- 49:47Speaker 2: one more. I suppose that's symmetrical sack, same action, the
- 49:55Speaker 2: same quick action. Weird. He goes into Mona for some reason.
- 50:02Speaker 3: It does go very different Moona, though.
- 50:05Speaker 2: Cards played from reserved costs one less with a minimum
- 50:10Speaker 2: cost of one same quick action.
- 50:18Speaker 3: Likely action.
- 50:21Speaker 2: Yeah, it is anchored sleep not anchored.
- 50:24Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, it is very interesting. But now that I'm
- 50:31Speaker 4: kind of putting things together more, Ebenezer might be great
- 50:37Speaker 4: with Yetty. And the thing about Moona that a lot
- 50:43Speaker 4: of people have a hard time wrapping their head around
- 50:46Speaker 4: is because of the lower on the vibe of the faction,
- 50:52Speaker 4: they do provide benefits to both sides pretty frequently. Whereas
- 50:58Speaker 4: Ortis is your you know, your bureaucracy, Ebenezer screage is
- 51:04Speaker 4: going to be sending ice to your door and not
- 51:08Speaker 4: going to treat people very fairly. But in Muna, everyone's welcome.
- 51:13Speaker 3: That's like it's like after the book was over, that's what.
- 51:16Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like it follows the story. Yeah, right, so
- 51:20Speaker 2: like he doesn't really do much in the beginning and
- 51:23Speaker 2: then he just becomes an evil villain. But at the end, right,
- 51:27Speaker 2: he's like, oh, hey, yeah, I've seen the lights. Bring
- 51:33Speaker 2: me your biggest goose. I think that's from the Muppets,
- 51:37Speaker 2: Christmas Carol.
- 51:40Speaker 4: Yes, so we we we have to just put our
- 51:48Speaker 4: all of our feet down right now and say this
- 51:51Speaker 4: is not comparable to robin Hood. Yeah.
- 51:55Speaker 2: I kind of started making that comparison. I'm like, oh,
- 51:58Speaker 2: he's fucking Robin Hood. God, this is terrible. But it's
- 52:01Speaker 2: not because it's symmetrical. So it does hurt both parties equally.
- 52:06Speaker 4: Yes, and it's from Reserve and they just cost one
- 52:10Speaker 4: more and so a lot of people had a pretty
- 52:15Speaker 4: big knee jerk reaction to this. But I feel like
- 52:17Speaker 4: it's just because they have PTSD from robin Hood. Because
- 52:22Speaker 4: even if this ability and text gets put on uniques,
- 52:28Speaker 4: there's no way it's going to be as bad as
- 52:30Speaker 4: robin Hood. And Yeah, the the other thing that people
- 52:36Speaker 4: need to understand, and I I feel like sticks out
- 52:39Speaker 4: of ten people don't.
- 52:42Speaker 2: It's very it's a very that's a very confident number
- 52:47Speaker 2: there too.
- 52:48Speaker 4: But the way, yeah, they don't understand that for a
- 52:55Speaker 4: new expansion or you know, a card product to get
- 52:58Speaker 4: printed and to get put out and to get shipped
- 53:02Speaker 4: and distributed, they're doing their forecasting and decisions six to
- 53:08Speaker 4: eight months before you actually have the cards in your hand.
- 53:13Speaker 4: So this obviously existed a while ago, and it's not
- 53:18Speaker 4: just like, oh, now we should just change Scrooge because
- 53:21Speaker 4: we eroded Robin.
- 53:22Speaker 2: Hood m and I don't think it's the same. I
- 53:28Speaker 2: started to automatically make it, but I'm like, oh, but
- 53:30Speaker 2: it's symmetrical, so it's fine. Let's move to dong dashn
- 53:36Speaker 2: from hand for from reserve three four to four. When
- 53:40Speaker 2: played from anywhere, you may exhaust target card and reserve.
- 53:45Speaker 2: The rare is a three to three for three three three.
- 53:47Speaker 2: I've said that a lot today. At noon, you may
- 53:50Speaker 2: exhaust target card in reserve and then it gets faction
- 53:55Speaker 2: shifted into mouna, which is the same as the uh
- 54:00Speaker 2: as same as the rare.
- 54:02Speaker 3: Yep, this is very strong and limited. I do not
- 54:05Speaker 3: think it's his play in any constructed mix.
- 54:09Speaker 4: I was just reading the rare along with you guys,
- 54:12Speaker 4: and the rare is fucking scary and war.
- 54:16Speaker 3: No, it's just the worst version of leg it.
- 54:21Speaker 4: Uh leg it doesn't or oh yeah, okay, I see
- 54:25Speaker 4: what you're saying. But his lego of urpret too, yeah,
- 54:31Speaker 4: of course, of course, yeah, yeah at noon is uh
- 54:39Speaker 4: at noon is kind of hard to justify. But this,
- 54:44Speaker 4: this text line is scarier to me than Scrooge. Is sure,
- 54:52Speaker 4: but you you are right. Leg Leggott is probably better
- 54:58Speaker 4: because it does happen at to rest and it's cheaper.
- 55:03Speaker 4: But the dong is here, the dog.
- 55:06Speaker 2: I was waiting. I was waiting. I was just sitting quietly.
- 55:10Speaker 2: I'm like, who's gonna Who's gonna say it?
- 55:13Speaker 4: Somebody will yeap dong dong.
- 55:17Speaker 2: All right, let's let's go from dong to digimon vail Aman, yeah, dexter,
- 55:25Speaker 2: do you know what digimon are? I do?
- 55:27Speaker 3: I've never played it?
- 55:28Speaker 2: Okay, I feel like half of the show is just
- 55:30Speaker 2: me and Cole making fun of you for being young. Yep, okay,
- 55:35Speaker 2: far from hand for from reserves six six six uh oh.
- 55:41Speaker 2: Unless you have eight or more animore uh MANA orbs,
- 55:45Speaker 2: I am a defender. The rare version is four four
- 55:50Speaker 2: five five five unless you have eight or more man
- 55:53Speaker 2: O orbs I gain defend. I am a defender if
- 55:57Speaker 2: you have ten or more and man, whoa wow, why
- 56:00Speaker 2: can't I talk? If if you have ten, let me
- 56:03Speaker 2: use my finger or more MANA orbs I am gigantic.
- 56:09Speaker 2: And then he moves into bravos with the rare version yep.
- 56:15Speaker 3: This with Guyser in gul Ray, we could see some
- 56:19Speaker 3: Shitana goods. Yep, it is a lot.
- 56:22Speaker 4: But I don't have the rares yet. I think the
- 56:29Speaker 4: rare is risky, but the common, the common is fucking great.
- 56:34Speaker 4: And if you have any of that removed the defender stuff,
- 56:39Speaker 4: and there's.
- 56:39Speaker 2: A little bit of that, and by a little I
- 56:41Speaker 2: mean quite a bit, quite a lot. There's two cards
- 56:45Speaker 2: now right mobile Artillery does removes defender and doesn't Sunissa.
- 56:52Speaker 3: Yeah, those are the only two I think there are.
- 56:55Speaker 3: But that's two is a good amount.
- 56:57Speaker 2: That's six cards bare minimum, Yeah, plus unique plus plus
- 57:04Speaker 2: uniques yep.
- 57:06Speaker 4: Not. Veilman's dope. Definitely playing Veilmon. And uh, I wonder
- 57:12Speaker 4: what the like Laura of Veilmon is.
- 57:15Speaker 2: Well, he's a ditchemon man. I wish I remember then.
- 57:22Speaker 4: Okay, so it's the White Bear King Veilmon. It's a
- 57:27Speaker 4: Norwegian fairy tale dope. Okay, cool, Yeah, that's cool.
- 57:34Speaker 2: And then there's boring stuff like the ordest Liaison, the
- 57:39Speaker 2: four from hand for from reserve to to two. You
- 57:41Speaker 2: guys like that transition. I thought that was pretty awesome. Yeah,
- 57:44Speaker 2: I would play it from my hand. Each other character
- 57:47Speaker 2: you controlled gains one boost. The Rare is a four
- 57:50Speaker 2: four three three three. Each character in Target Expedition gains
- 57:55Speaker 2: one boost and then the moona Muona shifted one is
- 58:01Speaker 2: the same as the common.
- 58:03Speaker 3: This is interesting. I think the common could see play.
- 58:07Speaker 3: It's basically a charge plus two mana with the body there.
- 58:13Speaker 3: I don't think the rare seatplay though.
- 58:18Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't.
- 58:20Speaker 2: I don't know. It just seems pricey. Yeah, it seems
- 58:25Speaker 2: a little pricey. I think the charge might be better. I
- 58:28Speaker 2: don't know.
- 58:29Speaker 3: Yeah, charges charge does have fleeting. Yeah, but getting two
- 58:36Speaker 3: uses out of this one opened.
- 58:39Speaker 4: The gates and one charge and like fucking ruin everyone's day?
- 58:43Speaker 3: Who runs open the gates these days?
- 58:46Speaker 4: I've hit it three times in the past couple of days.
- 58:50Speaker 3: I've never seen it played against me, like within the
- 58:52Speaker 3: last two months.
- 58:54Speaker 4: I'll get ready for.
- 58:55Speaker 2: It's man, I cannot wait for a live in person,
- 58:59Speaker 2: actual play because it sounds like it's just gonna be
- 59:02Speaker 2: a hot mess. Or is that just men? Just like
- 59:06Speaker 2: listening to you guys, because you guys play a lot online. Again,
- 59:09Speaker 2: I really don't enjoy online playing, but like you're like,
- 59:15Speaker 2: I don't see this at all, and then Cole's like,
- 59:19Speaker 2: I see it a lot, and it's like, I can't
- 59:22Speaker 2: wait till like a real measure is designed because you're
- 59:29Speaker 2: gonna hear a lot of people be like I never
- 59:31Speaker 2: saw this on on BGA, and they're gonna be then
- 59:35Speaker 2: you're gonna have a bunch of people who play things
- 59:37Speaker 2: because it's like that's all I saw on BGA and
- 59:39Speaker 2: then I played in person and didn't see it one time. Yeah, Like,
- 59:43Speaker 2: I just feel like the meta is still so undefined
- 59:46Speaker 2: for this game because there haven't been any like real
- 59:50Speaker 2: like large events for people to see. I don't know.
- 59:54Speaker 4: It's also no, you're you're correct, because there's just also
- 59:58Speaker 4: a lot of possibilities that all seem somewhat viable. Yeah. Well,
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: I when I was judging at packs, I was even
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: surprised by some of the stuff I saw, And some
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: of the players there don't play online, like one of
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: the traced players that won one of the tournaments and
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: then came in like top three for two others. He
- 1:00:24Speaker 4: played his first BEGA like game a week ago. So yeah,
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: it's very interesting the different ways people play in person
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: verse on BGA. This is kind of not at all
- 1:00:42Speaker 4: related to these cards. But I think a lot of
- 1:00:45Speaker 4: people who play online have a really harsh reckoning coming
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: when they realize they can't fucking take half an hour
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: to play the game.
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: Yeah, people like exhaustyga. If I'm paying attention.
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: Judge, So Americans actually do play very fast nine out
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: of ten times the other countries all of their clock
- 1:01:14Speaker 4: and more so they better get used to playing quick.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: I can't take another chess clock discussion. We've I've done
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: this in so many other games. I can't. I can't,
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: I can't. I can't.
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: Always support chess clocks.
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: Dexter you are, Let's instead of doing all that, let's
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: move into Benzington. Is that right? That seems wrong?
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: Zen, there's a hide there.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: A lot of six is on this card. Six from hand.
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: They got a lot of arms, six from.
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: Yeah, why they have six? You think maybe they have
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: six arms. Oh that's six from hands, six froms serve
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: for six six six. If my expedition is behind draw card,
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: the rare is still all the sixes. And if my
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: expedition is behind draw card, otherwise re supply and then
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: it gets shifted into bravos and it is the common version.
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: Am I am I the one that has to chime
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: in for every card that's a Gorrang card.
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: Dexter, No, I don't think thoughts of music knowledge and eloquence.
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: Is this gonna sequel being that high?
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: No?
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: I I was gonna say, I I really like it,
- 1:02:47Speaker 4: but it is. It is a tough decision, the fact
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: that Gourang has a little bit of ramp now and
- 1:02:58Speaker 4: wants to get up to a manna anyways, Uh maybe,
- 1:03:04Speaker 4: but this is probably one of the first cards I cut. Unfortunately.
- 1:03:09Speaker 3: Yeah, this is not good. How would you feel playing this?
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: You get one car draw off of it, and then
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: it just gets teamwork training lost in the Woodson like, no,
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: it's not good.
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: Well, I mean I was running Grand Endeavor before Trial
- 1:03:25Speaker 4: by Frost, so it.
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: Never at least has tough I know.
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: The only tough I'm gonna say. The only thing is
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: like when you get into those expenses. And we kind
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: of had a little bit of a discussion about it
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: a week ago, maybe it was two weeks ago, where
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: you were talking about like maybe the meta shifts into
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: more expensive cards, and I think Dexter just listed all
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: the reasons why it won't be going that way. You
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: know what I mean.
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: It is harder to remove higher man of cards than
- 1:03:57Speaker 4: it is lower man.
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: Sometimes sometimes sometimes no, I don't know. Uh, should we
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: go to rally call rallying call?
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: Ye?
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: All right? One to one target character gains one boost.
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: If it is a sleep, it loses a sleep. The
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: rare is a two to two target character gains one boost.
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: If it's a sleep, it gains anchored and it loses
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: a sleep and the uh faction shift goes to lyra
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: with the rare version.
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: No body not worth it?
- 1:04:37Speaker 4: Next true. This is a good cards, a very good spell.
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: I do not like Wookie needs to move his phone
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: away from his U equipment.
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: But my phone is not equipment. Actually, my phone is
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: at least.
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: The recording you're cutting it real lot. Okay, I won't
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: sell you on the rare because you've already you know,
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: been spoiled for choice on rares for WARU. But this
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: is a card for just one manna that you can
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: play on one of your bureaucrats that you maybe don't
- 1:05:20Speaker 4: want to be asleep anymore or something, and it gets
- 1:05:23Speaker 4: one boost.
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: Do you know how many times I have ever thought, hmm,
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: I want to not have a bureaucrat asleep right now.
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: Never.
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: I always want my bureaucrat to be asleep. If I
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: don't want it to be asleep, I just won't put
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: it to sleep.
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: Probably if this was in Yazmir. Faction shifted though, could
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: be very cool for the honest.
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: I think of going back to my old I like.
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: The art though. That looks like the big gong gullum
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: with the horn.
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: Yeah it is.
- 1:06:01Speaker 4: It's toxin.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm thinking going back to my old audio interface
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: because you guys see, I always seem to have problems.
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: Never had problems with you. Hear me what.
- 1:06:15Speaker 4: I was gonna and you stopped immediately.
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I I yeah, I never had problems with
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: the two eye two or anything. But yeah, this for
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: whatever reason, the sterlings just it's got the yips, all right.
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: Field reinforcement two from hand, two from reserve.
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: Leading skip typothermia.
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: Oh I did skip hypothermia. My bad. Let's go for
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: through field reinforcements some. I'm halfway through it already. Choose one.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: If each of your expeditions is behind or tied, you
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: may choose. You may choose both. Draw card create an
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: artist recruit one on one soldier token and TIRGT expedition.
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: The rare is to two. It does have cool down.
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: Choose one if your ex If each of your expedition
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: is behind or tied, you may choose both, and then
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: this gets faction shifted into Yazmir. Why do I like
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: this card so much?
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: This is the best first turn card for any order's character,
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: except maybe Wau if you don't have a one drop
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: beer crat as well. This is so strong drawing a
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: card and making a token for two mana, yeah, beautiful, yep.
- 1:07:32Speaker 4: I don't play the rare. I play the common and
- 1:07:35Speaker 4: it's and goring.
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: Why can I see Yazmir using this too? Though I
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: don't know. Maybe doesn't might not have the rere, might
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: not have.
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: The rare spot Yeah, and the rare there still has fleeting.
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: I don't like it in ismir.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: Okay, fair enough, Let's go back to the card for
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: that dexter so eloquently told me I forgot, which is hypothermia.
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: It is a one from hand three from reserve. Each
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: player chooses the character they control, it gains asleep. For
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: the rare, it's one from hand two from reserve. Each
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: lacharacter chooses the character they control, it gains asleep, and
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: then it gets faction shifted into lyra I love you too, baby.
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: Oh thank you. It's kind of kind of awkward, but.
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: My daughter just came and gave me a big hug.
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: I love you. I'm going to bed.
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: How sweet, Dexter. You're up?
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: So this is the same as rallying call no body,
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: I don't like it.
- 1:08:42Speaker 4: Boo.
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: All right, tell us why this is actually really a
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: good card.
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: It is if you're playing war, you are playing around
- 1:08:57Speaker 4: the fact that you are putting your characters to sleep.
- 1:09:02Speaker 4: Maybe you have a unique or something that is not
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: a bureaucrat that you want to keep around because it
- 1:09:08Speaker 4: has some kind of artist text on it, and you're
- 1:09:11Speaker 4: making your opponent put something to sleep. The only thing
- 1:09:15Speaker 4: I don't like about this card is the common costs
- 1:09:20Speaker 4: too much from reserve. But I am very used to
- 1:09:25Speaker 4: ditching a card from reserve that costs three when it
- 1:09:29Speaker 4: costs one from hand because I play Beauty Sleep all
- 1:09:32Speaker 4: the time.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: This has been another moment of why Dexter sucks. Brought
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: to you by CARLS Junior. All Right, uh, tiny jail
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: two from Hate, I'm two from Reserve Fleeting Center reserve
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: target character with no statistics over three, two from hand,
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: two from reserve for the rare version has cool down
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: center reserve target character with no statistics over three, and
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: then it goes over to Bravos for the It is interesting,
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: it is.
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: Quite I really like it in Why Can't Words Limited?
- 1:10:20Speaker 3: I've played it in two of my decks. Actually, all
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: three of my decks had at least one Tiny Jail
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: in it, and that did a lot of work. In Limited.
- 1:10:27Speaker 3: I think him constructed though, just because it has fleeting
- 1:10:30Speaker 3: and it's ninety nine percent of the time, just a
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: weaker version of teamwork training. I don't know. I started
- 1:10:40Speaker 3: out running three the same as Hypothermia, but after playing
- 1:10:46Speaker 3: some games with it on Wauru, I've dropped it down
- 1:10:48Speaker 3: to one of for tiny Jail, I think cool Rain
- 1:10:53Speaker 3: could maybe play it, but SI's probably fine removal wise.
- 1:10:58Speaker 4: Yeah, I think You're a was really good. And that
- 1:11:03Speaker 4: is the thing is some cards are actually built more
- 1:11:08Speaker 4: for other formats than constructed. And yeah, I agree, Tiny
- 1:11:13Speaker 4: Jail feels really good. In Sealed, I got hit with
- 1:11:17Speaker 4: it and Sealed it worked really well against me, and
- 1:11:21Speaker 4: I just got to say free my man's he didn't
- 1:11:23Speaker 4: do anything wrong, and the design of this card is amazing,
- 1:11:28Speaker 4: right down to the flavor.
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: Text yep, which, as the flavor text is, do not
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: collect two hundred florets. Yeah, it's a monopoly reference, all right.
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: Ice Bound Lake three from hand three from reserve. When
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: a non token creature joins one of your expeditions it
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: if it is behind, I gain a trial counter. Get
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: so many of those bades, and by so many I
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: mean three yep three, you can create a dragon, a
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: five five five dragon. Then target character gains asleep. The
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: rare is two two the same Yazmir has a version
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: of the ice Bound Lake. It's just a rare version. Yes,
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: it is the rare version.
- 1:12:27Speaker 3: This one is too hard to play. Having to cost
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: three just isn't worth it. The Bramos one is great,
- 1:12:35Speaker 3: The literal one is great, The moon to one is great.
- 1:12:37Speaker 3: This one is too hard to trigger, and the sleep
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: effect is nowhere near as good as giving everything boost
- 1:12:43Speaker 3: or giving your dude anchored.
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: This this card fox, That's all I'm saying this. Uh,
- 1:12:48Speaker 4: this card is dope. This card is fun and it
- 1:12:52Speaker 4: will catch your upon it by surprise. It's super easy
- 1:12:57Speaker 4: to pull off. The only thing that I will give
- 1:13:03Speaker 4: dexter is the fact that the rare is way easier
- 1:13:07Speaker 4: to play, but it does take up a rare slot.
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: Oh that was great.
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: I think this is great in Siggi and gul Ring.
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: When I say the things I say, I talk about
- 1:13:17Speaker 3: it purely from a wall.
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: Reapers, but from everyone.
- 1:13:22Speaker 3: It is probably good in both gol Ring and zig
- 1:13:25Speaker 3: Not all Siggi's will run it, but is a.
- 1:13:27Speaker 4: Salt Oh man, that was great?
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: Oh ship. All right. We are moving into Ismir now
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: finally Yazmir, and we're gonna start off with the moth Larva.
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: One from hand, one from reserve. When you play it
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: from your hand, if there are two or more exhausted
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: cards in reserve, it gains a boost. The rare is
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: the same thing, except it has a quick action of
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: exhaust target card and reserve, and it's not if there are.
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: Two or more from anywhere.
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: And I'm sorry it is getting late. Is past the
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: lookie spend time on a Sunday, But it is when't
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: played from anywhere. My apologies. And then you can yeah,
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: and then axiom gets the same thing as the rare,
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: the rare version. Ye yes, no, okay, Moving into Chrystalist.
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: Nobody else wants to say that.
- 1:14:31Speaker 3: I mean, there's not much to talk about on that one.
- 1:14:33Speaker 3: It's a fine card.
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: I talked to you.
- 1:14:35Speaker 4: I talk too much, you know, I don't want to
- 1:14:37Speaker 4: monopolize the mic over here.
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: All right, fair enough?
- 1:14:42Speaker 4: Chris is also maybe reading some drama, so icy drama.
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: Too much drama in the LBC. It's kind of hard
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: being snooped deal double g Anyways, Chrystalist two from hand
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: two from Reserve two one two. It has defender. When
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: I leave the expedition zone, create a man not moth
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: to illusion token in my expedition. The rare, I believe
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: is the same thing when you read it here again,
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: you havep defender. Yep, when it leaves the expedition hunk
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: creates a moth, checks out and then it has a
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: quick action of exhaust target card in Reserve. Then it
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: gets shifted into ortists, which is the rare version.
- 1:15:30Speaker 3: Of these versions.
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: More defenders for ortists. Yeah, actually, you.
- 1:15:34Speaker 3: Know, solid and.
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: Mobile armory did get shifted into so did SNISA.
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: Yeah, we got some Yazmir stuff dealing with defender and
- 1:15:48Speaker 3: taking away defender.
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: Hot take. Hot take is Yazmir. The new Ortists. No,
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: I feel like in side edition they.
- 1:16:02Speaker 3: Are will start making a lot of tokens.
- 1:16:05Speaker 4: Thematically, Yizmir will never be as bad as Ortists, So.
- 1:16:11Speaker 3: Mmmm they are now you say it will be. There
- 1:16:14Speaker 3: are some similarities in the set for sure.
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: I'm just saying.
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: Is making a lot of tokens.
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: There's a lot of crossover happening here, you know what
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: I'm saying, And.
- 1:16:24Speaker 3: Are doing a lot of exhausting and a lot of
- 1:16:27Speaker 3: making token.
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: A lot of making tokens.
- 1:16:30Speaker 4: Song. Yes, so uh my thought on this in in
- 1:16:36Speaker 4: gr Ring specifically, I think it's actually not good for
- 1:16:42Speaker 4: gor Ring because if I am understanding this correctly, and
- 1:16:48Speaker 4: let's actually see if they're there's probably not this clarification
- 1:16:53Speaker 4: on the Chrystalist card. But reading gol Rings hero of Ability,
- 1:17:01Speaker 4: she gives boosts to I'll read it so that we
- 1:17:06Speaker 4: have it here and you'll see where I'm where I'm
- 1:17:09Speaker 4: coming from. When you create a token character, it gains
- 1:17:13Speaker 4: one boost.
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: Yeah, get a boost.
- 1:17:18Speaker 4: However, Chrysalis is a man of moth illusion token. Is
- 1:17:25Speaker 4: that distinction important to where it does not get a
- 1:17:29Speaker 4: boost from Chloring?
- 1:17:31Speaker 3: Wait what it still makes a token character.
- 1:17:35Speaker 4: It's an illusion token.
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: Though, look at this orders over here. If my expedition
- 1:17:39Speaker 3: is behind create an orders recruit one one one soldier token,
- 1:17:43Speaker 3: the other one is ellusion token. There's they're both token.
- 1:17:47Speaker 3: It doesn't say the soldier token character on any of those.
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: I don't. I think it's just af of what it is.
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: I don't see why I wouldn't get the boost.
- 1:17:56Speaker 4: Yeah, so if it does, it's just.
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: Causing ship is that, don't you.
- 1:18:02Speaker 4: No, I'm just thinking through it because you thought it
- 1:18:05Speaker 4: too much coal it gets a booth. Well no, because listen, uh,
- 1:18:10Speaker 4: there have been things that have shown up and beyond
- 1:18:13Speaker 4: the gates that the wording was there, even though nothing
- 1:18:18Speaker 4: interacted with it, because it'll come into play later. And
- 1:18:23Speaker 4: I'm still trying to figure out if illusion tokens are
- 1:18:28Speaker 4: that or it's just entirely flavored.
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: Well, on the MANA Moth it like on the actual
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: MANI Moth itself, it says token character. It does say
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: illusion afterward. But so but artists, like he said, does
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: say token character soldiers?
- 1:18:45Speaker 4: Okay, so does the dragons. Yeah, it does say token
- 1:18:48Speaker 4: character illusion.
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: Yeah, so they do say token characters and then kind
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: of does give it. I mean if at any point,
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: you know, I'm I'm sure at some point you know,
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: it'll be like all your robots get a boost, you know,
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: when there is that kind of like tribal right, all
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: your illusions will get a boost or so, you know
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: what I mean when it becomes because at some polight
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: it'll become pretty tribal. And what am I saying? There's
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: going to be tribal cards right like that? That would
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: be my assumption because that's the general flow of card
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: games and how they go. They start making like tribal stuff,
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: you know, where illusions would be a tribe, animals will
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: be a tribe. Mag's beer, you know, obviously bureaucrants already
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: a thing, God save us.
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: Yes, when you do make the dragon and gul rag,
- 1:19:39Speaker 3: it'll get a boost too. Cool, so that does make
- 1:19:42Speaker 3: that landmark even better probably mostly.
- 1:19:45Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, no, that's good. I'm leaning towards the fact
- 1:19:50Speaker 4: that they're just flavor text for tokens currently, Yeah, I am.
- 1:19:54Speaker 4: I am wondering if in the future we see like, uh,
- 1:19:58Speaker 4: give all your illusions a boost.
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: Or something like something like that, like a tribal thing,
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: like give all your animals a boost. Yeah, you know,
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: stuff like that. Speaking of animals, let's get into Pamola
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: two from hand two from reserves zero three to two
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: doesn't do anything fun, but it has a quick action
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: exhaust target card and a reserve. They all have that.
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: And then the rare version is a two to two
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: for one three three. Then it gets faction shifted into lyra,
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: which I'm just gonna be told this is more fuel
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: for ARC and it's two two and it's the common
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: version through a zero.
- 1:20:42Speaker 3: I don't see this is fuel for rak. It's a
- 1:20:44Speaker 3: rare and the stats are not great. In my opinion,
- 1:20:47Speaker 3: I do like the.
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: Great it's got a zero. That's every time. Every time,
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: every time I bring up the fact that something has
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: a zero, cold reminds me it's fuel for ARC.
- 1:21:01Speaker 3: I think this is a good card, probably a common
- 1:21:04Speaker 3: for akisha. If you're trying to do an akisha exhaust,
- 1:21:08Speaker 3: allow your opponent shit and ice queen them to death.
- 1:21:11Speaker 3: I think that might be viable.
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: On top of we haven't talked about the Oh no,
- 1:21:16Speaker 2: we didn talk about the ice queen Erma. Yeah, I
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: haven't talked about.
- 1:21:21Speaker 4: I played this in my rock deck in sealed. Funny enough,
- 1:21:27Speaker 4: I'm pretty sure I played the Yazmir version because if
- 1:21:31Speaker 4: you don't know in sealed you can mix three factions.
- 1:21:35Speaker 4: And I don't have my deck behind me downstairs, I think.
- 1:21:39Speaker 4: But I did lyra Yeazmere and Axiom for my sealed deck,
- 1:21:49Speaker 4: so I did have Pamola. She is fun and yeah
- 1:21:53Speaker 4: rock support.
- 1:21:55Speaker 3: It's an angel moose. I love it.
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: It is an angel moose. Uh Belasanka three from hand
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: two from reserve three O three. When played from hand,
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: you may exhaust target cardon reserve. The rare is a
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: three from hand two from reserve three O three. When
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: played from hand, you may exhaust target carden reserve. Then
- 1:22:19Speaker 2: if there are two or more exhausted cardon reserve, it
- 1:22:22Speaker 2: gains a boost and then it gets fat. The Rare
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: gets faction shifted into Bravos. I want more moth.
- 1:22:35Speaker 4: Yeah, No matter what this no I'm disagreeing, No matter
- 1:22:39Speaker 4: what this freaking card is or does, or what it's
- 1:22:43Speaker 4: I fucking love it it is. It's like a freaking
- 1:22:48Speaker 4: busty ass moth just laying it down.
- 1:22:51Speaker 2: Why was always under the assumption that Balasanka was a
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: moth man.
- 1:22:56Speaker 4: I mean, min can be busty too.
- 1:22:59Speaker 2: Oh On is a encryptid isn't it.
- 1:23:07Speaker 4: It's just a cool card. I'm just being silly, but I.
- 1:23:13Speaker 3: Like good.
- 1:23:14Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a good it's a good card.
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: I thought. I thought it was a moth Man type
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: ryptid Bela Senka.
- 1:23:22Speaker 4: I also like the name a lot too.
- 1:23:26Speaker 3: I'll get a ride like a Shivering Tide.
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: I'll get back to you on that one. Let's move
- 1:23:32Speaker 2: into a row row Row Savior of as guard four
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: from hand, three from reserve three three four. When played
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: from hand, you may discard a spell from your reserve.
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: If you do it gains when boost. The rare is
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: a gun for three three three three. When played from hand,
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: you can discard a spell from your reserve. If you
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: do it gains two boost quick action. The next spell
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: you play this turn costs one less and it gets
- 1:23:59Speaker 2: the rare gets backtion shifted into Bravos.
- 1:24:06Speaker 4: Yeah. I tried this card. I don't like it.
- 1:24:11Speaker 3: It's losing too many cards for not enough value.
- 1:24:14Speaker 4: Yeah, as a doom bringer in the audience, said Aurro
- 1:24:18Speaker 4: Savior of no deck. Probably yep.
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: All right, well then there's no need to stick around
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: on this card, moving on to the snow Queens.
- 1:24:33Speaker 3: Maybe not, wait, I thought Scotty was Alsa.
- 1:24:37Speaker 2: Scotty might be Alsa too. I'm not convinced that Scotty
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: and the Snow Queen aren't related in some way, But
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: we'll get to that.
- 1:24:46Speaker 4: Scotty.
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: We'll get to that another episode. Seven from Hand, seven
- 1:24:54Speaker 2: from reserve three three three. It is eternal for those
- 1:25:01Speaker 2: of you like me who don't know. During rest, it
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: does not go to reserve. Exhausted characters in reserve remain
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: exhausted during morning. That could be a little bit of
- 1:25:14Speaker 2: a lockdown. Huh. The rare is seven to seven again
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: three three three aget It has eternal tough X, where
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: x is the number of exhausted cards in reserve. When
- 1:25:26Speaker 2: played from hand, you may exhaust target card in reserve,
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: and then it has the same exhausted characters in reserve
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: remain exhausted during morning artists, because why wouldn't artists get
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: something that's lockdowny. But it's the same thing as ye,
- 1:25:44Speaker 2: thanks dexter, got it this? Remember that control build we
- 1:25:51Speaker 2: talked about like a few episodes ago. Yes, I hope
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: I said if I said, yare, but I hope it.
- 1:26:01Speaker 3: Says I told you.
- 1:26:05Speaker 4: Is the control.
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: This it's I mean, I mean it is, but I
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: feel like, but it gets I feel like this could
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: shut down a game.
- 1:26:21Speaker 3: Yes, like it did for me in one of my
- 1:26:25Speaker 3: seal games.
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: I feel like this you could be behind and then
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: this gets dropped, and then it's like you're watching your
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: opponent play Solitaire at that point.
- 1:26:40Speaker 4: I actually have a pretty good unique that I pulled
- 1:26:49Speaker 4: a lot of the time, when you have high cost cards,
- 1:26:52Speaker 4: the unique become very dangerous because they can easily be bad.
- 1:27:00Speaker 4: But mine is actually pretty good. The only downside, yeah,
- 1:27:06Speaker 4: I was gonna say, the only downside is it doesn't
- 1:27:08Speaker 4: have the interactions you guys are explaining it. Mine does
- 1:27:13Speaker 4: have tough Oh yeah, I just put I just put
- 1:27:16Speaker 4: it in the chat. The only thing is is it
- 1:27:20Speaker 4: doesn't have the exhaust part, which Doombringer put up a
- 1:27:26Speaker 4: good point, like nilam to exhaust stuff, Snow Queen play
- 1:27:31Speaker 4: long game and just shut down your opponents reserves. Blah
- 1:27:35Speaker 4: blah blah. Yeah, but I guess I have to explain
- 1:27:39Speaker 4: for the audio listeners then the snow Queen I have.
- 1:27:42Speaker 4: So it's still seven to seven, which is really good
- 1:27:44Speaker 4: for a high cost unique. A lot. Someone pulled a
- 1:27:48Speaker 4: ten ten unique uh in Sealed and it was devastating.
- 1:27:55Speaker 4: But anyways, mine's seven seven. It's a three two three
- 1:27:58Speaker 4: on stats. It is eternal. It's tough x where x
- 1:28:02Speaker 4: is the number of exhausted cards in reserve. But from hand,
- 1:28:06Speaker 4: if your expedition is behind, draw two cards. Like, yeah,
- 1:28:13Speaker 4: drawing two cards is dope. It's eternal. It's a little
- 1:28:17Speaker 4: hard to remove because it's high cost. I like it
- 1:28:23Speaker 4: for a high cost unique.
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: I want to break this card. I know I've said
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: that a couple of times now, but like I now
- 1:28:40Speaker 2: want to build that Yazmir. Build that is just complete.
- 1:28:43Speaker 3: I am building the Yazmir being a bad person.
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: Yeah, like I want to like not Okay, So a
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: little bit about me for those of you who don't know,
- 1:28:55Speaker 2: I enjoy building decks where my opponent doesn't get to
- 1:28:58Speaker 2: play the game.
- 1:29:01Speaker 3: This is that.
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: That's this is what wookie like.
- 1:29:04Speaker 3: You haven't even seen winter and over freeze or any
- 1:29:07Speaker 3: of the other things. Let's just keep reading.
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: Keep going. In the rost, which is one from hand,
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: two from reserve, exhaust target card, and reserve. The rare
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: is the same one too. Choose one discard target, exhausted
- 1:29:21Speaker 2: card from reserve or just do the normal exhaust. That
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: also gets faction shifted into muna.
- 1:29:31Speaker 3: I like the common a lot.
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: Say nice and.
- 1:29:33Speaker 3: Chea the queen exhaust all your stuff.
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: Nice and cheap, just the way you like it. You know,
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: to stall, stall, stall, and then drop drop the hammer.
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: Could we keep going? Anybody got anything else to say?
- 1:29:52Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: Yeah, all right? Moth to a flame three from hand
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: two from reserve. It's got cooled down. You create a
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: mana moth to to two illusion token and target expedition.
- 1:30:03Speaker 2: The rare is A four to three also has that
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: same cool down, except you create a mana moth in
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: each expedition man ortis and tokens Man they got a thing.
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: I want to get that Feta checked out. They get
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: the same as the rare.
- 1:30:21Speaker 3: I don't like thers, but I think it could be
- 1:30:24Speaker 3: a good red card.
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: It's a little pricey.
- 1:30:27Speaker 4: Yeah, I think this one is just a pass for me.
- 1:30:29Speaker 4: The art is amazing.
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: If it was a little cheaper, you put it in,
- 1:30:36Speaker 2: it was, yeah, it was like two you put it in. Yeah,
- 1:30:40Speaker 2: it just feels a little pricey for what it is.
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: And then freeze four from hand to four from reserve
- 1:30:47Speaker 2: also has cool downs. Send target character to reserve, then
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: exhaust it The rare is a three from hand, four
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: from reserve, cool down, send target character to reserve, then
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: exhaust it. What is the difference? Just the one cost
- 1:31:01Speaker 2: of one costless. It was one cost less. Bravos also
- 1:31:05Speaker 2: gets freeze.
- 1:31:06Speaker 3: The common version common great love it.
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: I feel like they gave all these weird ice things
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: just to like have some sort of what's the word
- 1:31:20Speaker 2: I'm looking for, not analogy, but some sort of weird
- 1:31:23Speaker 2: like Bravos you traditionally think of the fire right, and
- 1:31:27Speaker 2: then they give them all these cars that are like
- 1:31:29Speaker 2: freezing and that kind of stuff. They've done it. Another
- 1:31:33Speaker 2: faction shifted cards too.
- 1:31:35Speaker 3: I've noticed geyser geysers originally in.
- 1:31:40Speaker 2: Yeah, well guyser makes sense, and Bravos because geysers are hot.
- 1:31:44Speaker 4: Yeah yeah. Well the story of this set is all
- 1:31:47Speaker 4: of the factions are going to There's to see what's
- 1:31:52Speaker 4: frozen in sid.
- 1:31:54Speaker 2: I bet it's this giant fire turkey.
- 1:32:00Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a great card. Freeze is a great card,
- 1:32:05Speaker 4: all right.
- 1:32:05Speaker 3: I don't think the rare receip list.
- 1:32:09Speaker 2: Probably not, except we're talking about that. I don't know
- 1:32:14Speaker 2: talking about that, but I don't know, I don't know,
- 1:32:16Speaker 2: I don't know what I'm gonna say, blizzard five from hand,
- 1:32:18Speaker 2: five from reserve, fleeting, send to reserve each character from
- 1:32:22Speaker 2: target expedition, then exhaust them. The rare is a five
- 1:32:28Speaker 2: to five again fleeting, I cost one less if there
- 1:32:31Speaker 2: are two or more exhausted cards in reserve. Question about
- 1:32:35Speaker 2: this one, mister Cole to see our rules expert. So
- 1:32:41Speaker 2: it costs one less if there are two or more
- 1:32:43Speaker 2: exhausted cards in reserve. Does that count my reserves and
- 1:32:47Speaker 2: my opponents? Yep, yep, okay, and then yeah, you can
- 1:32:52Speaker 2: send to reserve each character from target expedition, then exhaust them. Oh,
- 1:32:56Speaker 2: but this is both I just realized this effects both.
- 1:33:01Speaker 3: From No, Nope, it's target expedition. There are four different expeditions,
- 1:33:06Speaker 3: so you pick one of the four.
- 1:33:08Speaker 2: Yep, Oh, so I can just choose my opponent's side. Yes,
- 1:33:12Speaker 2: it's not. It's not symmetrical.
- 1:33:15Speaker 4: No, that's why you can accidentally small step. There's there's
- 1:33:23Speaker 4: four buttons to click on BGA, so if you click
- 1:33:26Speaker 4: one of their too, it'll advance them instead of Oops.
- 1:33:29Speaker 3: This one's kind of weird. I I it's strong but
- 1:33:34Speaker 3: for five and then it's fleeting too.
- 1:33:38Speaker 2: But this is but this is one of those stall cards.
- 1:33:41Speaker 2: This is what I'm talking about. Stall Stall Stall, drop
- 1:33:43Speaker 2: your Queen.
- 1:33:46Speaker 4: This card I feel can annihilate uh some awareness tokens
- 1:33:52Speaker 4: very easily. There.
- 1:33:54Speaker 3: They normally go for both sides, and you're only getting
- 1:33:57Speaker 3: one of them.
- 1:33:58Speaker 4: Yeah, I guess that makes it costly. But if you
- 1:34:01Speaker 4: compare it to Freeze what we just talked about, yes,
- 1:34:04Speaker 4: it's only one more manna. And if they have a
- 1:34:08Speaker 4: it's actually even really scary against Muna because it does
- 1:34:12Speaker 4: not have a cost associated so Hydra.
- 1:34:18Speaker 3: Yeah, it takes out that hyder. I think, yeah, this character,
- 1:34:23Speaker 3: you're not targeting the character itself.
- 1:34:27Speaker 2: Yeah, it'll stop part I feel like that will see
- 1:34:32Speaker 2: see something and some yeah, some dick that I'm going.
- 1:34:38Speaker 4: To And if I ever match up against you in
- 1:34:42Speaker 4: that wild and you play a Kasha control deck, you
- 1:34:46Speaker 4: know I'm giving you a thumbs down.
- 1:34:48Speaker 2: Right, that's cool, that's cool. Can you do that in person?
- 1:34:51Speaker 2: I don't know, Like, I mean, I could punch him
- 1:34:54Speaker 2: in the face. It's like you guys, ever watch The Oraville.
- 1:35:00Speaker 4: No, so.
- 1:35:02Speaker 2: Orville is a it's a it's a it's a show
- 1:35:05Speaker 2: about it's supposed to be like a Star Trek spoof right.
- 1:35:08Speaker 2: It was created by Seth McFarland, but it ended up
- 1:35:11Speaker 2: being like really star trek y and like pretty good.
- 1:35:15Speaker 2: And there was one where they visit a planet and
- 1:35:17Speaker 2: everybody wears a badge and there's a there's like an
- 1:35:20Speaker 2: up vote button and a down vote button and you
- 1:35:22Speaker 2: can just press it and you can just press it
- 1:35:24Speaker 2: on them and then if you get like enough down votes,
- 1:35:27Speaker 2: like you could be sentenced to death. It's really weird,
- 1:35:30Speaker 2: but it was kind of an interesting episode, you know,
- 1:35:33Speaker 2: kind of just talking about like social media in today's aspects.
- 1:35:36Speaker 2: But yeah, I've seen.
- 1:35:38Speaker 3: A lot of clips from Marville. Sounds like an interesting show.
- 1:35:41Speaker 2: I highly enjoyed The Orville. But let's go to Flutter
- 1:35:44Speaker 2: of Moths. Six from Hands six from reserve. Boy these
- 1:35:49Speaker 2: high cost cards and use Yeah, it cost one less
- 1:35:55Speaker 2: if there are two or more exhausted cards in reserve,
- 1:35:59Speaker 2: create a man illusion token. Just create three of them,
- 1:36:03Speaker 2: I'm sorry skipping words, and you can distribute them as
- 1:36:08Speaker 2: you choose among any number of target expeditions. The rare
- 1:36:14Speaker 2: version of seven to seven, and it costs one less
- 1:36:17Speaker 2: for each card, each exhausted card in reserve, and then
- 1:36:22Speaker 2: it creates those same three man of moths that you
- 1:36:25Speaker 2: are allowed to disperse and then axiom. Thank god this
- 1:36:29Speaker 2: didn't go into ortists. Oh my goodness, that would have
- 1:36:33Speaker 2: been a nightmare.
- 1:36:39Speaker 4: This car is just for those assholes. Once again, I
- 1:36:47Speaker 4: don't like.
- 1:36:49Speaker 3: I think it's worth the manna.
- 1:36:52Speaker 4: I think it's basically a open the gates. So if
- 1:36:55Speaker 4: someone can just justify doing open the gates, the same
- 1:37:00Speaker 4: kind of person that would justify this. Uh. The thing.
- 1:37:04Speaker 4: The thing about all these high cost spells and everything
- 1:37:07Speaker 4: is they are for like those Akesha type builds, because
- 1:37:12Speaker 4: their point is to drag out the game as long
- 1:37:15Speaker 4: as possible and get up to twenty two mana so
- 1:37:18Speaker 4: they don't care or they have categear and they play
- 1:37:21Speaker 4: all of these we just talked about for free.
- 1:37:23Speaker 3: Yep, love to see it. I'm making an Akisha build.
- 1:37:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I could stop you.
- 1:37:35Speaker 3: How would you do that?
- 1:37:37Speaker 4: There are ways to stop people dexter.
- 1:37:40Speaker 2: None of them legal, but there are yeah, no, none
- 1:37:43Speaker 2: of them would be.
- 1:37:45Speaker 4: I'm sorry, I just accidentally saw a dog in the
- 1:37:49Speaker 4: street and swerved into your living room.
- 1:37:54Speaker 2: Oh anyways, anyways, Winter eight eight ooh, but again.
- 1:38:02Speaker 3: We just know this card is brutal.
- 1:38:06Speaker 2: It better be do this card better read I win
- 1:38:09Speaker 2: the game, but.
- 1:38:10Speaker 3: Any dose it did win the game for my opponent.
- 1:38:14Speaker 3: You're gonna choose twenty twenty points worth of stats and annihilated.
- 1:38:17Speaker 4: All of it.
- 1:38:18Speaker 2: You're gonna choose three of these, exhaust up to two
- 1:38:21Speaker 2: cards in reserve, create two Man of Moths, discard target permanent.
- 1:38:28Speaker 2: I thought that's a discard sacrifice target player. Target player
- 1:38:34Speaker 2: sacrifices the character. I'm like, wow, brutal target. Yeah, sacrifice
- 1:38:41Speaker 2: target player and you lose. Sorry, Bud, all right, and
- 1:38:45Speaker 2: then the rare version is eight to eight again with
- 1:38:48Speaker 2: the fleeting choose three. You may pick the same option multiple.
- 1:38:52Speaker 3: Times and it's the same option.
- 1:38:55Speaker 2: That's the same options. Liar gets excuse me, lyricaus this
- 1:38:59Speaker 2: as well.
- 1:39:01Speaker 3: Yeah, So I had three characters on the board and
- 1:39:05Speaker 3: it was a six six ' six, and then it
- 1:39:07Speaker 3: was a five seven seven, and then it was a
- 1:39:10Speaker 3: seven seven seven with angered. They played the Winter Nova
- 1:39:13Speaker 3: and said target player sacrifices a character times three. So
- 1:39:17Speaker 3: I was forced to sacrifice all of my characters.
- 1:39:20Speaker 2: That was just I like it better better. I liked
- 1:39:26Speaker 2: it better when it's a sacrifice sacrifice target player.
- 1:39:30Speaker 4: Yeah, this this is dope. It's interesting.
- 1:39:35Speaker 5: I tried to play it, but I I did not
- 1:39:39Speaker 5: get to play it because I think I only had
- 1:39:43Speaker 5: the commons, which.
- 1:39:45Speaker 4: Are a little harder to justify, especially if you're spending
- 1:39:51Speaker 4: the full eight mana. So it ended up just being
- 1:39:55Speaker 4: mana for me each game.
- 1:39:57Speaker 3: Now during the sealed event, it does cost a lot
- 1:40:01Speaker 3: hard to get out.
- 1:40:03Speaker 2: But again, and we just talked about like Stall Stall
- 1:40:08Speaker 2: Stall win the game Moth Lantern three from hand two
- 1:40:15Speaker 2: from reserve. It is an expedition permanent when you sacrifice
- 1:40:20Speaker 2: a non illusion character, you create a Man of Moth
- 1:40:25Speaker 2: in the expedition and you can sacrifice the character. I'm sorry.
- 1:40:28Speaker 2: When you play it from hand, you can play it
- 1:40:30Speaker 2: from anywhere. You can sacrifice the character in the expedition. Uh.
- 1:40:35Speaker 2: It is a two to two for the rare version.
- 1:40:38Speaker 2: It does the same thing. And Ortis has this so
- 1:40:42Speaker 2: now they can sacrifice the recruits to get a Man
- 1:40:45Speaker 2: of Moth.
- 1:40:48Speaker 4: Yep. This I put it in my sealed deck but
- 1:40:52Speaker 4: it didn't work out well. But this for Linda Way
- 1:40:59Speaker 4: is great And I think the exact spot that I
- 1:41:04Speaker 4: put this in is I get rid of Baba's Isba
- 1:41:09Speaker 4: and I play this and it's great in lindueh.
- 1:41:15Speaker 2: Nice ice bound pass four from hand for from reserve
- 1:41:22Speaker 2: it is a landmark permanent. When you exhaust a card
- 1:41:26Speaker 2: and reserve, it gains a trial counter get three or
- 1:41:30Speaker 2: more and I'm bad. Boys, you get yourself some dragons.
- 1:41:33Speaker 2: For the rare. It just goes down a peg. It
- 1:41:36Speaker 2: is a three to three and then it gets shifted
- 1:41:40Speaker 2: into axiom.
- 1:41:43Speaker 4: Yeah, I know. Dexter said he liked all the others
- 1:41:47Speaker 4: better than the oldest one, but I think the oldest
- 1:41:50Speaker 4: one is better than this one.
- 1:41:53Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just I said, I like pull Off the
- 1:41:57Speaker 3: Bravos and Muna one more. Those are the two good ones.
- 1:42:00Speaker 4: The rest are yeah, the moon and one is.
- 1:42:03Speaker 2: I feel like this one's very good in like a
- 1:42:05Speaker 2: sealed format where you're doing a lot of exhausting and reserve.
- 1:42:08Speaker 2: I don't know. It's hard to tell what kind of
- 1:42:11Speaker 2: cards are going to get adopted, because it could be good.
- 1:42:19Speaker 2: It might also not be because a lot of cards
- 1:42:21Speaker 2: that are doing a lot of exhausting in the reserve
- 1:42:23Speaker 2: zone don't get adopted into constructed.
- 1:42:28Speaker 4: Yeah this one, yeah, this one can probably actually be
- 1:42:32Speaker 4: better in axiom than Yizmir because as we recently went
- 1:42:37Speaker 4: over the whole playing cards from your reserve, whether they're
- 1:42:42Speaker 4: exhausted or not, in exhausting your opponent's cards, and YadA YadA,
- 1:42:47Speaker 4: you might find some places for this in axiom.
- 1:42:53Speaker 2: All right. The nullum withered tree another landmark permanent. When
- 1:42:59Speaker 2: you exhaust are you? When you exhausted card in reserve,
- 1:43:03Speaker 2: you may exhaust me to create a man of moth.
- 1:43:07Speaker 2: When played from hand, you may exhaust target card in reserve.
- 1:43:12Speaker 2: It is a four four from hand, four from reserve.
- 1:43:15Speaker 2: The rare is a three from hand, three from reserve.
- 1:43:17Speaker 2: When you exhaust a card in reserve, you may exhaust
- 1:43:20Speaker 2: me to create a a man of moth token and
- 1:43:23Speaker 2: target expedition no from hand ability and the axiom gets
- 1:43:28Speaker 2: the common version.
- 1:43:32Speaker 4: Yeah, this is amazing. I have no idea why you
- 1:43:36Speaker 4: would play the rare. There was a group of people
- 1:43:42Speaker 4: talking about it at the pre release I went to,
- 1:43:46Speaker 4: and how busted it is because if you look at
- 1:43:49Speaker 4: the common it satisfies itself immediately upon entry. And then yeah,
- 1:43:57Speaker 4: I don't know if it's lusted. I don't know if
- 1:44:01Speaker 4: they were misunderstanding it, but I think it is a
- 1:44:04Speaker 4: very good permanent, especially if you're running a lot of
- 1:44:09Speaker 4: those exhausting cards in reserve. I mean it triggers off
- 1:44:14Speaker 4: of freeze, which is great. So that's a really good
- 1:44:18Speaker 4: combo with freeze already.
- 1:44:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I think Zmir has got good things going. In fact,
- 1:44:27Speaker 2: I think a lot of the a lot of the
- 1:44:29Speaker 2: factions that are kind of lower on the Totem Pole
- 1:44:31Speaker 2: got a lot going. Except Yeah, there's a lot of
- 1:44:38Speaker 2: I don't know if Laira gained any ground.
- 1:44:42Speaker 4: They have the sleigh.
- 1:44:43Speaker 3: They have the sleigh, and is that the one that
- 1:44:47Speaker 3: makes it Double.
- 1:44:47Speaker 2: Advance Yeah, Double Advance.
- 1:44:52Speaker 3: Just did some work against men Seld.
- 1:44:55Speaker 4: Yeah. I think the thing is is maybe some of
- 1:44:58Speaker 4: the characters are not as amazing in Lyra, but some
- 1:45:04Speaker 4: of the combinations that this creates are amazing. Slide of
- 1:45:10Speaker 4: Hand is a really good card. Joy Ride is a
- 1:45:13Speaker 4: pretty good card. Silent Silent Night is just kind of
- 1:45:17Speaker 4: fun in the rolling experience. Uh Winter outfits, the magic
- 1:45:24Speaker 4: Sleigh and eat Me Energy bars. Those are some some
- 1:45:32Speaker 4: wild Ship or eat Me Energy bars not on here.
- 1:45:35Speaker 4: I thought they were Lyra.
- 1:45:37Speaker 3: No, I think they do go into Lyra effect.
- 1:45:43Speaker 4: Yeah, so they do go into Lyra. So yeah, it's
- 1:45:49Speaker 4: there's some there's some fun to be had in Lyra. Uh,
- 1:45:52Speaker 4: there's some wild ship that can happen. You just got
- 1:45:55Speaker 4: to put it together and I will do my got
- 1:45:59Speaker 4: to play Iraq.
- 1:46:01Speaker 2: Try to put it together. You gotta play a rock
- 1:46:04Speaker 2: a rock forever one day. I just think a rock
- 1:46:10Speaker 2: as a as a hero might have been a little
- 1:46:14Speaker 2: I think they might have made it too costly.
- 1:46:16Speaker 4: I don't know if I could make one change to
- 1:46:22Speaker 4: ROC that I think would make it a world better
- 1:46:27Speaker 4: for a hero ability is switch the at noon to
- 1:46:32Speaker 4: at dusk.
- 1:46:34Speaker 3: It's amazing.
- 1:46:36Speaker 4: Okay, but you know what, I think I'll make an
- 1:46:40Speaker 4: rock deck for the locals on Thursday and I'll let
- 1:46:44Speaker 4: you know how it goes.
- 1:46:45Speaker 2: Please do because we can talk about that next Friday.
- 1:46:50Speaker 2: Kind of an off time episode for you guys. So
- 1:46:55Speaker 2: we uh, I don't know if we apologize, but it
- 1:46:58Speaker 2: was what it was. We all got lie. It was
- 1:47:00Speaker 2: outside of talking about Altered and you know we're only
- 1:47:05Speaker 2: the sixty seventh best content cre Saul.
- 1:47:11Speaker 4: Yeah, for a moment there, I thought Sunday was gonna
- 1:47:15Speaker 4: be pop and we had a big audience at the start.
- 1:47:19Speaker 4: Then we started talking about edited at Eddie and everyone back.
- 1:47:22Speaker 2: Nobody like Eddie, I guess my bad days. Sorry.
- 1:47:27Speaker 4: Thanks to everyone who did stop by Doombringer and Sayonara,
- 1:47:32Speaker 4: thanks for your conversation. Appreciate it. I don't have anything
- 1:47:36Speaker 4: else prepared. By the time this comes out, a season
- 1:47:39Speaker 4: two will be over. You just wanted to finish up
- 1:47:42Speaker 4: the spoilers, So I think we're all ready to go
- 1:47:45Speaker 4: to bed, unless y'all have anything else.
- 1:47:47Speaker 2: I am ready to go to bat. It has been
- 1:47:50Speaker 2: a long, long few days, so hopefully well, we'll have
- 1:47:55Speaker 2: some good stuff for you on Friday. We'll get the
- 1:47:58Speaker 2: notes prepared and we will see you all next week.
- 1:48:01Speaker 2: All of us certain, say man, all of us nothing
- 1:48:04Speaker 2: but slaves, never forgetting the story, and Jesus to hear
- 1:48:06Speaker 2: what was killed by the steak.

- 1:48:22Speaker 2: wanna run him with the jew runners? Go hell fire
- 1:48:24Speaker 2: high in a new summer. It's a cold winner. Maybe
- 1:48:25Speaker 2: in a bow summer I flew aside. Mama and the
- 1:48:27Speaker 2: Blue Hummer emerge out the time that of moos On
