- 0:00Speaker 1: Mark him up seven to w O R. Hey, let's
- 0:05Speaker 1: take some calls. Let's go to uh George in Long Island. George,
- 0:08Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 0:10Speaker 2: Hi?
- 0:10Speaker 1: Mark?
- 0:11Speaker 3: When I listened to Chris van Holland, who had drinks
- 0:14Speaker 3: with that trafficker of humans and a white beater, he's
- 0:19Speaker 3: he's unbelievable, And I don't know. I don't want to
- 0:21Speaker 3: try about a comedian. But if I had to go
- 0:22Speaker 3: out with drinks for drinks, I'd rather go out for
- 0:25Speaker 3: a drink with Cash Battel than Van Holland any day.
- 0:29Speaker 3: And I grew up. I just want to say one
- 0:32Speaker 3: other thing. Before I moved to Port jeff Port Jeffers,
- 0:34Speaker 3: I lived in Garden City for forty years. My kids
- 0:37Speaker 3: went to school with Cashpttel. He was the kicker on
- 0:40Speaker 3: the football team and he played on the soccer team.
- 0:42Speaker 3: He was a very nice kid.
- 0:43Speaker 1: He's a very nice guy. Let me just say, I
- 0:45Speaker 1: have gone out for drinks with Cash Hotel. It's not
- 0:48Speaker 1: the most exciting thing in the world, but he is
- 0:50Speaker 1: a very nice guy, very nice guy. Why'd you leave
- 0:52Speaker 1: Garden City?
- 0:54Speaker 3: I moved out to when I'm we talking, I lived
- 0:56Speaker 3: there for forty years. The kids grew up.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Why'd you?
- 1:01Speaker 3: Well, I live I live in the Port Yestery area.
- 1:03Speaker 1: It's beautiful too, but it's on the way out there.
- 1:06Speaker 3: Well, it's very crowded in Garden City. Now, I don't know.
- 1:09Speaker 3: I just laughed. I want to move back to Brooklyn,
- 1:11Speaker 3: to tell you the truth. That's where I was from.
- 1:13Speaker 3: But I can't have bord it.
- 1:14Speaker 1: You diren't that funny? Everybody when they finally make a
- 1:17Speaker 1: lot of money, they leave Brooklyn to go to Garden City.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Now it's the other way around.
- 1:21Speaker 3: I didn't have a lot of money.
- 1:22Speaker 1: But now you've got to make a lot of money
- 1:23Speaker 1: to go to Brooklyn.
- 1:26Speaker 3: It's a joke, isn't it? More?
- 1:28Speaker 1: All right, thanks for calling. That's funny. Yeah, years ago
- 1:31Speaker 1: Brooklyn queens suddenly made money, moved to Garden City, moved
- 1:35Speaker 1: to Manhasset, moved to Long Island. Now you'd have to
- 1:39Speaker 1: make a fortune just to live in Brooklyn. It's the
- 1:41Speaker 1: whole opposite. Let's go to Pete in Eastchester.
- 1:43Speaker 4: Pete, how you doing, Hey, Mark, you're a professional speaker.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Right, I don't know, I guess, I mean, can.
- 1:52Speaker 4: You please do something about this? This up speak? It's
- 1:56Speaker 4: now it's now gotten to the older men. These corporate CEOs.
- 2:01Speaker 1: You see on TV, give us a clus what you're
- 2:03Speaker 1: talking about.
- 2:05Speaker 4: The up speak, the way that people speak up and
- 2:07Speaker 4: they talk up.
- 2:08Speaker 1: What do you mean at the end of a sentence?
- 2:12Speaker 4: You mean yes, yes, like a question. Instead, it's not yeah.
- 2:16Speaker 1: There are people that do that. It's a it's a
- 2:18Speaker 1: like a it's just an insecurity say where'd you go? Well,
- 2:21Speaker 1: we went to Spain and then we went to uh France. Yeah,
- 2:25Speaker 1: they go up at the end. They there's two things
- 2:28Speaker 1: they do. They go up at the end of a sentence.
- 2:30Speaker 1: You're right, it's a bad thing. And then they do
- 2:32Speaker 1: the sing song where they talk like this because they
- 2:34Speaker 1: think if you make it a sing song, it sounds
- 2:37Speaker 1: more interesting. And then at the end they go up. Yeah,
- 2:44Speaker 1: you gotta if you're listening, don't go up at the
- 2:46Speaker 1: end of a sentence ever, ever, ever go up in
- 2:49Speaker 1: the middle, go up in the beginning, and don't do
- 2:51Speaker 1: the sing song because it doesn't sound good. And when
- 2:54Speaker 1: you do it like this, it's kind of annoying. After
- 2:57Speaker 1: a while, let's go to uh Don and Tom Don,
- 3:00Speaker 1: how you doing low Mark?
- 3:03Speaker 2: Yes, I've had an idea for quite a while on
- 3:07Speaker 2: how the Titanic may have been saved and all the
- 3:10Speaker 2: people saved. Yes, And I'd like to hear from other
- 3:13Speaker 2: people about this opinion. But my feeling is that when
- 3:18Speaker 2: it hit the iceberg, if they had turned it into
- 3:21Speaker 2: reverse and gone full speed in reverse, the boar would
- 3:27Speaker 2: not have sunk in the water.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Well, if you read all the Titanic stuff, apparently the
- 3:33Speaker 1: captain there, they made a lot of mistakes. He didn't
- 3:35Speaker 1: go this way when he should have gone that way,
- 3:37Speaker 1: and as he was hitting it, you're right, he should
- 3:39Speaker 1: have gone this way. A lot of mistakes from the captain,
- 3:42Speaker 1: a lot of mistakes from the from the whole the
- 3:46Speaker 1: beginning of the whole thing. The ship wasn't designed to
- 3:49Speaker 1: rescue enough passengers, not enough lifeboats. And I'm not a
- 3:55Speaker 1: really Titanic expert, but if you study all that stuff,
- 3:57Speaker 1: there's like nineteen simple mistakes that were made hours before
- 4:03Speaker 1: and when they as they saw the icebergs that were
- 4:05Speaker 1: hitting it, mistakes made on the steering. Yeah, you're right,
- 4:08Speaker 1: it could have been prevented. Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent,
- 4:11Speaker 1: how you doing.
- 4:12Speaker 5: Good morning, Mark, Come morning, Mark, your first caller. He
- 4:16Speaker 5: wants to move back to Brooklyn. Tell him, I got it.
- 4:19Speaker 5: I got a couple of apartments I'll rented in a
- 4:21Speaker 5: really tony NAMEH.
- 4:23Speaker 1: But Mark, how much is it? How much is the apartment?
- 4:27Speaker 5: Uh? You're looking at it about five thousand dollars a month.
- 4:30Speaker 1: That's a lot for brook Well, I guess not nowadays? Right.
- 4:33Speaker 5: It depends where you If you go to Benson Heart
- 4:36Speaker 5: or further out in Brooklyn, the closer you are to
- 4:40Speaker 5: UH to downtown, the more expensive it is. Because Wall
- 4:45Speaker 5: Street is only two stops away on the train. That's
- 4:48Speaker 5: that's I.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Don't know if i'd want you as the landlord, though.
- 4:53Speaker 1: That'd be tough to complain about things.
- 4:55Speaker 5: Well, you got that right, Mark, Speaking about complaints. What
- 5:00Speaker 5: happened with this Juliet Manning. She's Jewish, She's supposed to
- 5:03Speaker 5: be a monulate on the city council. She's the speaker
- 5:07Speaker 5: with this disgusting riot out in Midwood, Brooklyn the other night.
- 5:11Speaker 5: Where was she? Where was she on the news the
- 5:15Speaker 5: other day speaking out against this? She proposed this law
- 5:20Speaker 5: to have so many feet between the protesters and the
- 5:23Speaker 5: House of worship. What happened?
- 5:25Speaker 1: I never believe that's a good point. She promised you'd
- 5:29Speaker 1: get that done. Yeah, blame Chuck Schumer. Chuck Schumer is
- 5:33Speaker 1: the highest ranking Jewish official in American government. Where the
- 5:38Speaker 1: hell was he? Jewish people being terrorized by terrorists and
- 5:42Speaker 1: writers two knights in a row in Brooklyn, Schumer hiding
- 5:45Speaker 1: Brooklyn and queens Schumer, all of.
- 5:48Speaker 5: The Jewish leaders should have been out there complaining about this,
- 5:52Speaker 5: because this is actually tacit aggrieving on Mandami's pipe and great,
- 5:59Speaker 5: if he keeps up, the Feds can come in and
- 6:02Speaker 5: say you're racially discriminating against the class of people in
- 6:07Speaker 5: New York. You are not protecting. I hope Donald Trump
- 6:12Speaker 5: saw that and his Justice Department is looking into what
- 6:16Speaker 5: I said. Yeah.
- 6:17Speaker 1: We lastly, I think they are hamat Dillon Justice Department.
- 6:20Speaker 1: DJ has already tweeted about it that they're going to
- 6:22Speaker 1: look at it.
- 6:23Speaker 5: I'm sure because he's not doing anything. He should have been.
- 6:26Speaker 5: He should have been the first one, along with Schuma,
- 6:29Speaker 5: along with Jilli Brand and uh with Julia Mennon out
- 6:34Speaker 5: there by stopping this. But because these Arab terrorists in
- 6:38Speaker 5: the city. No, they have a terrorist for a mayor
- 6:44Speaker 5: and his wife who is nothing but his beard. Mayor
- 6:49Speaker 5: Mandami is a finolchio and don't tell me anything about
- 6:52Speaker 5: that either.
- 6:53Speaker 1: But those who don't know, there was this awful anti
- 6:57Speaker 1: Semitic riot. There was a Jewish synagogue where they were
- 7:02Speaker 1: holding a meeting about something and these these were just
- 7:05Speaker 1: out now terrorists, terrorizing them, getting physical, harassing, threatening menacing
- 7:12Speaker 1: the people there. They claimed they were protesting what was
- 7:16Speaker 1: the land sale that was going on in the Synegague,
- 7:19Speaker 1: but they wandered out six blocks away into it's a
- 7:24Speaker 1: residential neighborhood too, terrorizing people in their homes. The police
- 7:29Speaker 1: on the scene did what they could, but the mayor,
- 7:33Speaker 1: and you're right, whereas Julie Menin, the mayor did not
- 7:35Speaker 1: do what he needed to do, which is provide enough police.
- 7:39Speaker 1: And where was the SRG that Strategic Response group. That's
- 7:43Speaker 1: what it's for a situation like this. They can respond
- 7:46Speaker 1: in great numbers instantly. They weren't called out. This is
- 7:49Speaker 1: we'll talk about it in the second hour. A lot
- 7:52Speaker 1: to get to. Hey, when we come back, we'll talk
- 7:53Speaker 1: to Kevin Nalan, very funny guy. Coming up next on
- 7:57Speaker 1: seven to ten. Wor
