- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Good morning. Let's go starting this Wednesday morning together. Things
- 0:06Speaker 2: to being here. Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 0:08Speaker 3: The Jonas Brothers are going back to Disney for Christmas movie. Nick,
- 0:13Speaker 3: Joe and Kevin Jonas announced the news in a new
- 0:15Speaker 3: video on social media, where they said that The Jonas
- 0:17Speaker 3: Brothers Christmas Movie premieres later this year on Disney Plus.
- 0:21Speaker 3: According to Variety, the movie's working title is Jonas Brothers
- 0:25Speaker 3: Christmas Movie and it's gonna see the brothers quote face
- 0:28Speaker 3: a series of escalating obstacles as they struggle to make
- 0:31Speaker 3: it from London to New York in time to spend
- 0:33Speaker 3: Christmas with their family.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Hope they make it.
- 0:35Speaker 3: Sounds like a classic Christmas movie.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Feel like they could come up with a better title.
- 0:39Speaker 3: They might. It's only the working title right now. We'll see.
- 0:43Speaker 3: We'll see what they come up with. They had a
- 0:45Speaker 3: show on Disney back in two thousand and nine for
- 0:46Speaker 3: two seasons Jonas and they also starred in Disney movies
- 0:50Speaker 3: Camp Rock and Camp Rock two, so they are very
- 0:53Speaker 3: familiar with Disney. I love that they're coming back for
- 0:56Speaker 3: a Christmas movie. Obviously, every millennial that grew up watching
- 0:59Speaker 3: Jonas is very excited for this as well.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Is that you?
- 1:02Speaker 3: Of course? Yeah, I loved Jonas camp Rock Camp Rock too.
- 1:06Speaker 3: I don't think I actually watched it. I'm not gonna
- 1:08Speaker 3: lie to you. I'm gonna be completely transparent there. Thank
- 1:10Speaker 3: you for your super Bowl tickets are cheaper this year
- 1:13Speaker 3: than last year, but there's still some of the most
- 1:15Speaker 3: expensive and Super Bowl history. So the Philadelphia Eagles go
- 1:18Speaker 3: up against the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans for
- 1:22Speaker 3: a rematch. But these tickets are crazy. They're about eight
- 1:26Speaker 3: thousand dollars. The cheapest ticket was more than fifty seven
- 1:30Speaker 3: hundred dollars the last time that they checked. This came
- 1:34Speaker 3: out yesterday, so they could be even a little bit
- 1:36Speaker 3: higher right now. But it's wild to me to see
- 1:39Speaker 3: the prices that people are willing to pay. I guess
- 1:41Speaker 3: they just really love their football, you know.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Or they just want to see Kendrick Lamar that bad.
- 1:46Speaker 3: That's true, that's also a possibility. Eight thousand dollars is
- 1:49Speaker 3: a lot of money. Though emergency pavement repairs have started
- 1:53Speaker 3: on I twenty four in Rutherford County. Twenty four east
- 1:55Speaker 3: will be shut down to two lanes between mile markers
- 1:58Speaker 3: sixty six and sixty eight. The I twenty four east
- 2:01Speaker 3: on ramp from SR two sixty six is going to
- 2:06Speaker 3: be closed. Work is happening from three am to one
- 2:08Speaker 3: pm both today and tomorrow so they can patch up
- 2:12Speaker 3: potholes and prepare damage assphal all because of like the
- 2:15Speaker 3: weird weather that we had, the cold weather, the freezing
- 2:18Speaker 3: and all of that stuff. They're going to fix everything
- 2:20Speaker 3: to make sure that you have smooth travel. So just
- 2:22Speaker 3: make sure you're adding extra time when you are going
- 2:24Speaker 3: to work or going anywhere that you need to get
- 2:26Speaker 3: to today and tomorrow, and make sure that you go
- 2:28Speaker 3: slow through those areas as there are people working and
- 2:31Speaker 3: you want to make sure that everybody's safe. I'm Ricky
- 2:33Speaker 3: Sanchez and those are the three things you need to know.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Thank you, Ricky, Thank you for that. PSA. There, we
- 2:38Speaker 2: are getting back into the music with this guy Jelly Roll.
- 2:41Speaker 2: And don't forget we have Incubis tickets for you coming
- 2:43Speaker 2: in minutes. But the first caller of the day right
- 2:45Speaker 2: here on.
- 2:45Speaker 4: The river, Ricky second Mano in the morning on one
- 2:48Speaker 4: oh seven.

- 2:53Speaker 3: and if you're the first collar of the day on
- 2:54Speaker 3: one o seven five of the River. You can go
- 2:56Speaker 3: see that.
- 2:57Speaker 2: I love Incubis is going to be a great show.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Six to one, five, seven, three seven, nine, one oh seven.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Not a bad way to start your Wednesday morning. Tickets
- 3:05Speaker 2: to see Incubus and some small talk with us.
- 3:08Speaker 4: Next on the River one oh seven five of the River, Ricky,
- 3:11Speaker 4: Zach and Mano in the morning in Murphysboro.
- 3:14Speaker 3: Good morning, welcome to one oh seven five of the River.
- 3:17Speaker 3: It's Wednesday, so you've made it halfway through the week.
- 3:19Speaker 3: How you feeling, I'm pretty good so far. Good get
- 3:23Speaker 3: a long stretch last.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Yeah, what do you do, Bob? What's your job?
- 3:27Speaker 5: I work in facilities maintenance.
- 3:29Speaker 6: What's your least favorite thing to do as the maintenance.
- 3:31Speaker 3: Man Ooh, i'd probably a plunge of toilet. Yeah, you're
- 3:36Speaker 3: gonna say that, because that's my least favorite thing to do.
- 3:39Speaker 2: I will say I am proud of my plunging skills.
- 3:43Speaker 2: My kids tend to clog it every once in a while,
- 3:45Speaker 2: and I can get that thing unclogged so quickly.
- 3:48Speaker 6: I'm so proud. Kevin, thank you.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Yeah, it is an art.
- 3:53Speaker 3: What a random skill for you?
- 3:55Speaker 2: To have.
- 3:55Speaker 3: You've got to.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Feel the suction, become one with the plunger. It's uh,
- 3:58Speaker 2: become one with the skill.
- 4:00Speaker 6: I did not think we were going to talk about
- 4:02Speaker 6: plunging this early in the morning.
- 4:05Speaker 2: You asked the question, Zach, you asked the question, then
- 4:07Speaker 2: you gave a dissertation.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Everybody from themselves. Bob, you are the first caller of
- 4:13Speaker 3: the day. You're getting tickets to go to Incubus.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Yeah, like that, great response. They are going to play
- 4:20Speaker 2: their their classic album Morning View in its entirety, so
- 4:23Speaker 2: it's Morning View plus the hits. So it's gonna be
- 4:26Speaker 2: a fantastic show of Bridge Down. Congrats, Bobanas, thank you
- 4:29Speaker 2: so much.
- 4:29Speaker 3: Y You're welcome, and we hope you have a great day.
- 4:31Speaker 3: We hope you don't have to plunge any toilets today.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Fingers crossed, fingers cross All right, I wish I do.
- 4:38Speaker 2: That didn't come out right, Thanks Bob. Thanks, hang on, buddy,
- 4:43Speaker 2: it's early.
- 4:45Speaker 3: Oh my god, exactly make it's that you have to
- 4:47Speaker 3: plunge a toilet today.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Yeah, gross, if you want to do it, it's not
- 4:53Speaker 2: because of what, No, it's the toilet paper. It's too
- 4:55Speaker 2: much toilet paper. It's not the taco. Oh my god,
- 4:57Speaker 2: tomorrow more Incubis tickets, the.
- 5:01Speaker 1: River, Recky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Ricky had some sort of experience yesterday that almost led
- 5:06Speaker 2: to a spiral.
- 5:08Speaker 3: I almost had an emotional spy. Well, I did have
- 5:10Speaker 3: an emotional spiral, I'm be completely honest. And then I
- 5:12Speaker 3: had to bring myself out of it because I had
- 5:15Speaker 3: a just very minor inconvenience that happened that I think
- 5:18Speaker 3: everyone's experienced before, but it hit me in such a
- 5:21Speaker 3: way that I was like, nothing makes sense. I hate everything,
- 5:25Speaker 3: this is miserable.
- 5:26Speaker 6: Why is this happening xat that.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Kind of moment.
- 5:28Speaker 6: Dramatic, Yeah, it was very dramatic.
- 5:30Speaker 3: You guys are gonna laugh when you hear what happened.
- 5:32Speaker 3: I worked yesterday. Obviously, I was at work doing my thing.
- 5:36Speaker 3: I needed to go food shopping, so I planned out
- 5:38Speaker 3: my meals for the week of what I was going
- 5:40Speaker 3: to get grocery shopping, went to the store, got everything
- 5:44Speaker 3: that I needed, came home, unloaded everything, made myself something
- 5:49Speaker 3: to eat because I hadn't eat in lunch yet and
- 5:50Speaker 3: it was like three pm. So I was like, all right,
- 5:52Speaker 3: let me make something to eat, and I realized that
- 5:55Speaker 3: I forgot the key ingredient for what I was going
- 5:58Speaker 3: to be making for dinner that night.
- 6:00Speaker 2: What were you making?
- 6:01Speaker 3: It's like sweet potatoes quy waw black beans, but it's
- 6:06Speaker 3: very good, all in a bowl together. But I forgot
- 6:08Speaker 3: the keen wa. Okay, I forgot to buy kuy wa.
- 6:10Speaker 2: You need your grain in there.
- 6:11Speaker 3: So I was sitting there and I was like, I
- 6:12Speaker 3: can't believe I forgot the key wa. And I just
- 6:15Speaker 3: emotionally spiraled because I was like, I'm not going back out.
- 6:18Speaker 3: I'm not going to go back out and go back
- 6:19Speaker 3: to the grocery store. I can't do that. I absolutely
- 6:22Speaker 3: refused to do that. So I sat there just going
- 6:24Speaker 3: back and forth, like do I actually get up to
- 6:26Speaker 3: go back to the grocery store, get in my car
- 6:28Speaker 3: and go to the grocery store, or do I just
- 6:29Speaker 3: accept the fact that I'm going to make dinner without
- 6:31Speaker 3: the key ingredient that I need. I went back to
- 6:34Speaker 3: the grocerriya, okay, good.
- 6:36Speaker 2: That's what I would have suggested.
- 6:37Speaker 6: I hear that makes it even more dramatic is able
- 6:40Speaker 6: to do it.
- 6:40Speaker 7: Ricky lives within walking distance to a grocery store.
- 6:43Speaker 6: So she's it's even more dramatic.
- 6:45Speaker 7: I'm like, you sound like a spoiled brat right now,
- 6:47Speaker 7: you can literally walk to the grocery.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Is this true? Did you walk there?
- 6:50Speaker 3: I did walk there. It's the last thing I wanted
- 6:53Speaker 3: to do though. I was tired. I literally just wanted
- 6:56Speaker 3: to relax. I wanted to sit on the couch and
- 6:57Speaker 3: I wanted to read my book for a little bit
- 6:59Speaker 3: of time, to some meet time in the day.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Where were you directing your anger when you were when
- 7:04Speaker 2: you were all mad? What were you mad? I was
- 7:08Speaker 2: gonna say, you only have yourself to blame her.
- 7:10Speaker 3: No, I was so mad at myself because I remember
- 7:12Speaker 3: looking for the keen loot and then getting distracted at
- 7:14Speaker 3: Trader Joe's by something that I saw that I was
- 7:17Speaker 3: intrigued by, and then reading the Boss.
- 7:21Speaker 2: In my mind, if I have to do something like that,
- 7:23Speaker 2: I would like tell myself something positive, like maybe I'll
- 7:25Speaker 2: find money on the ground on my walk to the grocery.
- 7:28Speaker 2: Starting Yeah, that's a good idea.
- 7:30Speaker 3: That is a good idea.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Yourself, that positive. Maybe had you not left, maybe you
- 7:35Speaker 2: would have cut your hand on a knife in the
- 7:37Speaker 2: kitchen or something, and you altered the course of your day.
- 7:39Speaker 2: That's very intreatively.
- 7:40Speaker 3: We'll never actually know for sure. What we do know
- 7:43Speaker 3: for sure is that I absolutely spiraled tiniest minor convenience
- 7:47Speaker 3: and I was like inconvenience, and I was like, no, no, no, no,
- 7:49Speaker 3: this can't be happening to me right now. All I wanted, though,
- 7:52Speaker 3: like I said, was just twenty minutes to myself on
- 7:54Speaker 3: the couch reading my book.
- 7:55Speaker 2: That's all I wanted to get that.
- 7:57Speaker 3: And I just wasn't going to get it that day,
- 7:58Speaker 3: so I spiraled.
- 7:59Speaker 7: I literally got a rage check from Ricky about how
- 8:01Speaker 7: annoyed she was, and all I could do was laugh
- 8:03Speaker 7: because I'm like, you do sound like a spoiled brat
- 8:05Speaker 7: right now.
- 8:05Speaker 2: You literally live in.
- 8:06Speaker 6: A nice place, walkable distance to a grocery store.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Just walk to the.
- 8:10Speaker 3: Grocery store being a spoiled brat.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Good.
- 8:14Speaker 6: I'm glad you acknowledge it.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Maybe you need to talk to somebody, Ricky this.
- 8:18Speaker 3: My feelings matter, Yes.
- 8:21Speaker 2: They do, But if you're that on the edge of
- 8:23Speaker 2: a breakdown at all times, no, no, not okay, glad you're.
- 8:31Speaker 3: Here you and I did get my keewa and my
- 8:34Speaker 3: dinner was delicious.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Oh hallelujah.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 8:40Speaker 2: It is a beautiful Wednesday morning here in Nashville. Thank
- 8:43Speaker 2: you for starting with us. Ricky's got those three things.
- 8:46Speaker 3: Katy Perry has teased that she has some surprises in
- 8:49Speaker 3: her upcoming tour, but we don't really know what they
- 8:53Speaker 3: are just yet. She said, quote, we got to keep
- 8:55Speaker 3: these kids on the edge of their seat, you know.
- 8:57Speaker 3: But I will say one thing that she did expect
- 9:00Speaker 3: is that she has a new fresh perspective on this
- 9:03Speaker 3: tour now that she's a mom. And one thing she's
- 9:05Speaker 3: already said that she'll be doing with this tour is
- 9:07Speaker 3: implementing an earlier showtime. And I'm one hundred thousand percent
- 9:12Speaker 3: on board with this.
- 9:13Speaker 2: That's great.
- 9:14Speaker 3: I constantly say that these are too late. It's like
- 9:17Speaker 3: my one old lady thing that I always comment on
- 9:20Speaker 3: is why is this concert starting at nine thirty pm
- 9:22Speaker 3: on a tooth.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Stae It makes no sense. Nobody wants to get home
- 9:25Speaker 2: at midnight.
- 9:25Speaker 3: Oh make them earlier. This is a great idea. I'm
- 9:28Speaker 3: fully with her on this. Dolly Partons musical is going
- 9:31Speaker 3: to debut at Belmont University before it's Broadway run. This
- 9:35Speaker 3: is really cool. So Dolly an Original Musical is going
- 9:39Speaker 3: to run for four weeks of limited engagement preview performances
- 9:42Speaker 3: starting July eighteenth for an August eighth opening night at
- 9:45Speaker 3: the Fisher Center. Tickets for these performances are on sale now.
- 9:49Speaker 3: You can grab them at Dollymusical dot com. We love
- 9:52Speaker 3: Dolly here at one O seven five of the River.
- 9:54Speaker 3: We also love that she literally loves this community so
- 9:57Speaker 3: much that she's willing to do things like this. This
- 9:59Speaker 3: is a very cool experience. If you have the chance,
- 10:02Speaker 3: definitely go check it out. And Lift is giving away
- 10:05Speaker 3: discounted pet rides for Puppy Bowl. So they're trying to
- 10:09Speaker 3: do this to make pet adoption easier, So they teamed
- 10:11Speaker 3: up with Animal Planet for a discount code. So from
- 10:15Speaker 3: February second to the ninth, you can get fifty percent
- 10:18Speaker 3: off of two pet rides with a special discount code
- 10:21Speaker 3: Puppy Bowl.
- 10:21Speaker 2: What's a pet ride?
- 10:22Speaker 3: So you can bring a pet in the car with you, Oh,
- 10:25Speaker 3: like cat, dog, whatever it might be. This is perfect
- 10:28Speaker 3: for if you are planning perfect okay, if you're planning
- 10:32Speaker 3: to adopt a pet from a shelter, so you can
- 10:35Speaker 3: get half off going there and coming back and your
- 10:37Speaker 3: left right if you need it. I love this idea. Obviously,
- 10:40Speaker 3: we're all about adopting here at one of seven five
- 10:42Speaker 3: the River as well, So if you have a chance
- 10:44Speaker 3: to adopt, you definitely should. This is your reminder too,
- 10:48Speaker 3: that there is going to be our own version of
- 10:50Speaker 3: the Puppy Bowl at the Nashville Zoo the same day
- 10:53Speaker 3: as the Super Bowl. So on February ninth, you can
- 10:55Speaker 3: go to the Nashville zou and you can see all
- 10:58Speaker 3: the little puppies that are up for adoption in between
- 11:01Speaker 3: Nashville Humane and go check them out. Obviously they're adorable, sachez.
- 11:07Speaker 3: And those are the three things you need to know.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Thank you, Ricky Rickley.
- 11:11Speaker 3: Neither of us can really talk about today.
- 11:13Speaker 2: And I don't know what I was so focused on
- 11:15Speaker 2: doing another pet pun that I messed up your name
- 11:17Speaker 2: and now I'm not even in the pet pod. It's
- 11:19Speaker 2: over hey, right up to Sabrina Carpenter. Zach has a
- 11:22Speaker 2: fact for us, Zach's facts. We're gonna learn together next
- 11:26Speaker 2: on the River.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning.
- 11:30Speaker 3: On the River.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Time for Zach's fact. Zach, I want you to know.
- 11:34Speaker 2: My daughter Molly listens every single day. She loves Zack
- 11:37Speaker 2: s Fax. So you're teaching the youth of America right now.
- 11:39Speaker 7: Yes, good morning, Molly. Here's your fact of the day.
- 11:42Speaker 7: Did youna guys know that sharks have been on the
- 11:44Speaker 7: planet longer than trees?
- 11:46Speaker 3: Wild?
- 11:47Speaker 2: Is that not so weird.
- 11:48Speaker 6: To think about?
- 11:49Speaker 7: So apparently sharks date back four hundred and fifty million
- 11:51Speaker 7: years and trees appear around three hundred and eighty million
- 11:55Speaker 7: years old.
- 11:56Speaker 3: Whoa, yeah, while we're all just really letting that sink.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good one. That's your fact of the day.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Ricky sa in the morning.
- 12:07Speaker 2: When was the last time you were truly scared? It's
- 12:10Speaker 2: one of seven five the river. That's the question we
- 12:12Speaker 2: are asking. Uh, something happened to me over the weekend.
- 12:14Speaker 2: We went to the circus, and I'll make this quick.
- 12:17Speaker 2: I told the story on the air yesterday, but I
- 12:18Speaker 2: accidentally we were a bridgetone. I hit the guy in
- 12:20Speaker 2: front of me in the back of the head with
- 12:22Speaker 2: like a big bag that had a bunch of whatever.
- 12:24Speaker 2: He turned around and I quickly realized it was Michael
- 12:27Speaker 2: Chandler UFC. He is just a machine and now you'd
- 12:31Speaker 2: hit a.
- 12:31Speaker 6: UFC fighter in the head, a professional fighter.
- 12:34Speaker 2: I could. I I've never apologized more for anything.
- 12:37Speaker 3: Zack and I looked him up. He could easily murder
- 12:39Speaker 3: Kevin in three seconds. I say.
- 12:41Speaker 2: We went on to chat a bit, sweetest guy in
- 12:42Speaker 2: the world. He's not gonna he's not gonna hurt a fly.
- 12:44Speaker 2: But uh yeah, in that moment, my life lashed before
- 12:47Speaker 2: my eyes. So that's a question.
- 12:49Speaker 3: When is scared?
- 12:50Speaker 2: You were really scared of something? Six one, five, seven,
- 12:53Speaker 2: three seven nine, one oh seven. We want to hear
- 12:56Speaker 2: your story. Did you have a moment with the UFC
- 12:58Speaker 2: fighter like me? Maybe that's a rare one. The last
- 13:01Speaker 2: time you're real scared?
- 13:02Speaker 6: Let us people avoid that.
- 13:03Speaker 4: Kevin, you can lie Reiki, Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 13:09Speaker 2: I told my story a second ago. I accidentally hit
- 13:12Speaker 2: a UFC fighter in the back of the head over
- 13:14Speaker 2: the weekend. It's a it's an honest mistake. So now
- 13:17Speaker 2: we're asking you the last time you were truly scared
- 13:19Speaker 2: about something?
- 13:20Speaker 3: Good morning, Eden and Murphy's Burro. Welcome to one oh
- 13:23Speaker 3: seven five the River. When was the last time that
- 13:27Speaker 3: you were super scared?
- 13:28Speaker 5: So I eat here and we talk us at a
- 13:31Speaker 5: gym and at school. So at the school we crackice
- 13:34Speaker 5: yesterday and they were rats in the ceiling and then
- 13:39Speaker 5: there was rat poop all over in our closets, so
- 13:42Speaker 5: we had to clean it all.
- 13:43Speaker 3: Out rat poop and they made you clean it. No, no, no, no,
- 13:48Speaker 3: what kind of this? So that's terrifying. Eden, you said
- 13:52Speaker 3: this is the thing. You said, rats, so lots of them,
- 13:55Speaker 3: not just one rat.
- 13:57Speaker 5: Okay, Well, my dad says, set their mind.
- 14:01Speaker 2: I don't know if that's much better though, I mean
- 14:03Speaker 2: it might be a little bit better, but still, that's
- 14:05Speaker 2: that's not good everywhere.
- 14:08Speaker 3: Well, Eden, I hope that today you don't see any
- 14:10Speaker 3: rats or mice, whichever one actually both neither, just don't
- 14:15Speaker 3: ever see. I hope you don't see any rodents today yet,
- 14:17Speaker 3: none at school?
- 14:18Speaker 2: Thank you, not even Mickey Musch. Thanks for calling Edan.
- 14:21Speaker 2: We appreciate it.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Zach. Do you have something you were scared of recently?
- 14:25Speaker 7: Mine literally happened yesterday and I was doing nothing wrong
- 14:28Speaker 7: to be scared. I was literally sitting at a red light,
- 14:31Speaker 7: and every single time there's a cop behind me and
- 14:33Speaker 7: they turn on their lights. I'm like, oh my God,
- 14:35Speaker 7: I'm going straight to prison. And they weren't even coming
- 14:38Speaker 7: for me, Like the lights did turn on. They turned
- 14:41Speaker 7: on their lights.
- 14:41Speaker 6: And they went around them.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Yeah, what you're feeling so guilty about?
- 14:44Speaker 1: What?
- 14:44Speaker 2: I think?
- 14:45Speaker 7: I feel like it's a natural human reaction, Like as
- 14:48Speaker 7: soon as the cops are behind you with their lights.
- 14:50Speaker 3: On, you don't even have to with the lights on,
- 14:51Speaker 3: just a cop around you. Like, hardly I'm doing something wrong.
- 14:54Speaker 2: I do feel That's like even if you go into
- 14:56Speaker 2: like a store, like a little Walgreens or something and
- 14:58Speaker 2: you leave without buying anything, I feel so guilty. Anybody's
- 15:02Speaker 2: definitely looking at you.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Menno.
- 15:06Speaker 3: In the Morn, Katy Perry's coming to Nashville. She's playing
- 15:09Speaker 3: Bridge Stone Arena on August nineteenth. We're gonna play Kevin

- 15:34Speaker 2: Ricky actually kind of provided this clue for me. She
- 15:36Speaker 2: sent me your so thank you for that. And I

- 15:41Speaker 2: i'll say, an obscure part of the song. So if
- 15:44Speaker 2: you can place this, if you're the first person to
- 15:46Speaker 2: call and identify the source material here, the Katie Perry

- 16:45Speaker 3: really silly thing that Kevin just said. Now it's adorable.
- 16:48Speaker 2: I feel like people feel an affinity towards people that
- 16:50Speaker 2: share a name, Like whenever I hear now you know,
- 16:52Speaker 2: like the Minyon Kevin is my favorite minion.
- 16:55Speaker 3: I wouldn't know. I don't meet many women named Ricky.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Ricky Lake is your favorite TV host?
- 16:59Speaker 1: Sure?
- 17:00Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, Katie, we can play this clue for

- 17:44Speaker 3: after this.

- 17:48Speaker 2: Love. Thank you for starting your day with us, Thanks
- 17:50Speaker 2: for listening, thanks for calling, hang out okay ah, thank you?
- 17:54Speaker 4: Three things all right, my friends, Thank you for starting
- 17:57Speaker 4: your Wednesday morning with us.
- 17:59Speaker 2: Ricky's got those three.
- 18:00Speaker 3: Will Ferrell is campaigning for People's Sexiest Man Alive again
- 18:04Speaker 3: this year. He was on The Today Show talking about
- 18:07Speaker 3: his failed campaign last year, saying, quote, I got zero votes.
- 18:12Speaker 3: John Krazisky was actually the one who took home the
- 18:14Speaker 3: title last year, which Will didn't seem to be very
- 18:17Speaker 3: on board with because he said he didn't understand the pick.
- 18:20Speaker 3: He did say that for his twenty twenty five campaign,
- 18:22Speaker 3: he's thinking that he may even pay for some billboards
- 18:25Speaker 3: around LA and New York. The man's on a mission.
- 18:28Speaker 3: He's previously said that he's never wanted anything more than
- 18:31Speaker 3: to be awarded Sexiest Man Alive. And honestly, I agree
- 18:34Speaker 3: with Kevin. Give it to him, let him have it.
- 18:37Speaker 3: Let him have it. Why not, especially if he wants
- 18:39Speaker 3: it's so bad. If he's going to a campaign and
- 18:41Speaker 3: by billboards, let him have it. We'll see how it goes.
- 18:45Speaker 3: Construction for in and Out Burger and Lebanon has started.
- 18:48Speaker 3: The new spot is going to be on the corner
- 18:49Speaker 3: of South Hartman Drive and Franklin Road. Back in September,
- 18:53Speaker 3: In and Out broke ground on the construction of their
- 18:55Speaker 3: office in Franklin and had said, quote, we were drawn
- 18:58Speaker 3: to the volunteer state because of its commitment to quality
- 19:01Speaker 3: service and family and cannot wait to begin serving customers
- 19:04Speaker 3: and communities by twenty twenty six. So we got to
- 19:06Speaker 3: wait a year until we're getting any actual in and
- 19:08Speaker 3: out burgers. But this is a good trend. They've already
- 19:12Speaker 3: started their construction and a survey was done of the
- 19:15Speaker 3: most datable careers. It found that people who work in
- 19:19Speaker 3: healthcare are the number one most datable out of everybody,
- 19:23Speaker 3: followed by education, emergency response so think firefighters, EMTs, er
- 19:27Speaker 3: doctors and nurses, law so lawyers, police officers, and then
- 19:32Speaker 3: business to round out the top five. But number one
- 19:37Speaker 3: is healthcare.
- 19:37Speaker 2: It's a lot of people on that list.
- 19:39Speaker 3: That help, yeah, you know, yeah, a lot of civil servants.
- 19:44Speaker 4: You know.
- 19:44Speaker 3: Yeah. I'm Ricky Sanchez And those are the three things
- 19:46Speaker 3: you need to know.
- 19:47Speaker 1: One Cky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Oh boy, we have a birthday in the office here today,
- 19:53Speaker 2: Ricky and I have been blown up balloons and we're
- 19:55Speaker 2: both a little lightheaded, so uh.
- 19:57Speaker 3: Just a little bit, but that's okay.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Find our way through. This is one oh seven five
- 20:00Speaker 2: the river. Is there a phrase that people say regularly
- 20:03Speaker 2: that just drives you crazy because it doesn't make any
- 20:05Speaker 2: sense and it's wrong.
- 20:06Speaker 6: Yeah, like, oh, I slept like a baby.
- 20:08Speaker 7: Babies are notoriously not known for sleeping good, but they cry,
- 20:12Speaker 7: they don't sleep through the night.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Well, slip like a baby. If you have one of these,
- 20:18Speaker 2: let us know six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine,
- 20:20Speaker 2: one o seven. But Zach does have a list it
- 20:23Speaker 2: put together of phrases people use incorrectly to drive him.
- 20:26Speaker 6: Absolutely, they're probably all things that I've said.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Is definitely said that.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.
- 20:35Speaker 3: Kathy and Dixon tell us a common phrase that people
- 20:38Speaker 3: say that actually just doesn't make any sense.
- 20:41Speaker 5: It's not a fight, it's just a word in regardless,
- 20:45Speaker 5: that's that's not about word.
- 20:47Speaker 3: I know that one's terrible and people use it all
- 20:50Speaker 3: the time.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Yeah, Katy, let me share mine with you. When people
- 20:54Speaker 2: say I could care less as if to convey that
- 20:58Speaker 2: they don't care about something. It should be I couldn't
- 21:00Speaker 2: care less. That means you don't care, correct. I could
- 21:04Speaker 2: care less means that you couldn't you do get care careless?
- 21:07Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, yeah, I was gonna say I sleep like
- 21:10Speaker 4: a baby.
- 21:11Speaker 3: I think that means soon born because they sleep like
- 21:14Speaker 3: twenty hours a day.
- 21:16Speaker 6: I think that's.
- 21:18Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that makes more sense.
- 21:21Speaker 1: All right, Well you guys have a break day.
- 21:23Speaker 2: You too, can you?
- 21:25Speaker 5: Guys?
- 21:26Speaker 3: We love you.
- 21:27Speaker 6: Okay, So I have some more to add to the list.
- 21:29Speaker 7: That really really irk me and I want to see
- 21:31Speaker 7: if they get on your ner your nerves too. Is
- 21:33Speaker 7: when someone is like super nice to me and they'll
- 21:35Speaker 7: be like, oh I flipped a three sixty. That is
- 21:38Speaker 7: a one eighty.
- 21:40Speaker 3: Oh so if they were being mean and then they
- 21:42Speaker 3: were being nice, yeah, they're not doing it. Three sixty
- 21:45Speaker 3: would be that you're so you're still mean.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Yeah, you get a circle and your mean again.
- 21:49Speaker 7: Yeah, And then I have two more for you. Is
- 21:51Speaker 7: I'm sweating like a pig. Pigs don't sweat. They don't
- 21:54Speaker 7: have sweat glanes.
- 21:55Speaker 1: That's true.
- 21:55Speaker 3: Sacks fast right there.
- 21:57Speaker 6: That's true. They don't have sweat glands. That's where they
- 21:59Speaker 6: roll around the mud all the time down then.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Maybe you should say I'm sweating like a pig.
- 22:03Speaker 6: If you're not sweating, Oh my god, you guys right
- 22:05Speaker 6: now like a pig.
- 22:07Speaker 2: Yeah, perfect them, I sure did.
- 22:10Speaker 7: And then the last one is when people say unthaw
- 22:13Speaker 7: like I gotta go home, get the meat out of
- 22:14Speaker 7: the freezer so it can unthaw. It is thawing, right.
- 22:18Speaker 7: My parents said that all the time growing up.
- 22:21Speaker 2: I wonder if unthawt technically means freeze.
- 22:24Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 22:25Speaker 3: Yeah, then if you never took out the chicken like
- 22:27Speaker 3: your mom would always ask you to, and she said,
- 22:29Speaker 3: you need to unthaw the chicken be like I did, Ricky.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Zach and in the morning to.
- 22:39Speaker 3: Hear some adorable kids, a bunch of theater kids sing together.
- 22:42Speaker 3: It's gonna be much better than the way that Kevin
- 22:44Speaker 3: was just singing in the studio.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Guys do not know true art.
- 22:48Speaker 3: This is a very sweet and moving moment. Zach sent
- 22:51Speaker 3: this daily double Tap to me to watch first, and
- 22:54Speaker 3: it made me emotional. Yeah, you want to explain exactly
- 22:58Speaker 3: You're really sweet.
- 22:59Speaker 7: It's Rachel Platt Platin and she was singing her song
- 23:02Speaker 7: fight song, and I'm obsessed with that song.
- 23:04Speaker 6: She's making a comeback, and.
- 23:05Speaker 7: She did it with all of these different like vocal
- 23:08Speaker 7: students to like validate them.
- 23:09Speaker 6: Basically, it's so sweet.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Here we go, there's a Vireo.
- 23:16Speaker 1: My mom.
- 23:19Speaker 3: Oh, passively wow, this is fight Goosebumps's so sweet.
- 23:45Speaker 2: It's impossible to not have goosebumps. Do you hear that?
- 23:48Speaker 2: That's so good. We're gonna put the video up.
- 23:50Speaker 7: There's this like all of these kiddos in the auditorium
- 23:52Speaker 7: singing along with her.
- 23:53Speaker 6: It was just so sweet.
- 23:54Speaker 2: You have to watch out, okay at one O seven
- 23:56Speaker 2: five the River on Instagram, you can find that there
- 23:59Speaker 2: one seven
- 24:00Speaker 1: Five of the River Ricky, Zach and Mano in the
- 24:02Speaker 1: morning
