Transcript
- 0:04Speaker 1: Bally fools go here with Tony Fosco.
- 0:07Speaker 2: And Dony Yo.
- 0:08Speaker 1: NFL Week one with your song, bunch of action. Now
- 0:11Speaker 1: it's dime b NFL reaction reaction boom. Let's get right
- 0:18Speaker 1: into it, all right. The first story, Dolphins beat the Jags.
- 0:22Speaker 1: But the big headline Tyreek Hill pulled over by Miami
- 0:26Speaker 1: police on his way to the stadium. And Dony, Will
- 0:29Speaker 1: you just had to see this coming, didn't you.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Totally? You know, for years NFL players have been protesting
- 0:36Speaker 2: the police, so don't the police have a right to
- 0:39Speaker 2: protest NFL players.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Great point that, Dony, But of course you know Tyreek
- 0:44Speaker 1: Hill just wound up getting to the game right on time.
- 0:47Speaker 1: And it's not odd to see why, Tony. It's all
- 0:50Speaker 1: because of his gay scaleability.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Yup, exactly. You know we talk about handcuffing receivers. Even
- 0:57Speaker 2: when they literally handcuffed Tyreek Hill, they still couldn't stop them.
- 1:01Speaker 1: No, they couldn't. All right, Well, now to the Vikings.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Whill absolutely destroyed the Giants, who played like hot trash.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Now videos were circulating on social media showing the fans
- 1:10Speaker 1: the Giants fans leaving the game in the middle of
- 1:13Speaker 1: the third quarter and Tony, you know, people are saying
- 1:16Speaker 1: this is bad for New York. Well, I think this
- 1:18Speaker 1: is great for New York, don't you.
- 1:20Speaker 2: One hundred percent? You know, one of the issues plague
- 1:23Speaker 2: in New York right now is severe traffic congestion. If
- 1:27Speaker 2: the Giants keep playing like such absolute garbage, the fans
- 1:32Speaker 2: will slowly leave the stadium in a very organized fashion,
- 1:36Speaker 2: thus reducing traffic congestion and creating a better experience for
- 1:41Speaker 2: all New York residents and not just football fans.
- 1:45Speaker 1: So Well said that, Tony, and well to this story.
- 1:48Speaker 1: You know, the Cowboys beat the Browns, but the real
- 1:51Speaker 1: story was that the tame announced that Dak Prescott had
- 1:54Speaker 1: been signed to a four year, two hundred and forty
- 1:57Speaker 1: million dollar contract right before the game started. Tony, this
- 2:02Speaker 1: was just terrible diving by Jerry Jones, wasn't it totally?
- 2:06Speaker 2: You know, instead of letting his quarterback get a good
- 2:09Speaker 2: night's sleep the night before a game, he made him
- 2:12Speaker 2: stay up all night negotiating his contract. No wonder deck
- 2:16Speaker 2: looks so sluggish in that game.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Yep, he looked like a guy who had been up
- 2:19Speaker 1: all night, you know, crunching numbers, negotiating signing paperwork just terrible.
- 2:24Speaker 1: But you know, the other quarterback didn't look much better either,
- 2:27Speaker 1: you know, Deshaun Watson for the Browns through topicks looked
- 2:31Speaker 1: totally tight, just totally uncomfortable, and again not hard to
- 2:34Speaker 1: see why, Tony.
- 2:36Speaker 2: No, you know, what do you expect if you don't
- 2:38Speaker 2: let your quarterback get massages anymore? You know, I blame
- 2:42Speaker 2: the Browns and the FBI for interfering in his training
- 2:46Speaker 2: and recovery regimen.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Yep. And you know, I think the clear solution it's
- 2:50Speaker 1: got a bit doty for both parties. You just you
- 2:53Speaker 1: got to take the shaw or a massage Paula, and
- 2:55Speaker 1: you just put him in a straight jacket. It's the
- 2:57Speaker 1: only solution.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Absolutely, he'll throw for four hundred yards next week, guaranteed.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Well. Through another quarterback story, the Bears, you saw them
- 3:07Speaker 1: beat the Titans in their first game with rookie Caleb Williams,
- 3:10Speaker 1: who completed forty eight percent of his passes through for
- 3:13Speaker 1: ninety three yards with no touchdowns. Now, after the game,
- 3:17Speaker 1: Williams vowed to quote be better. But Tony, I thought
- 3:21Speaker 1: it was perfect, didn't you.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Totally he played like a true Chicago Bears quarterback. You know,
- 3:27Speaker 2: letting the defense carry him while he played like warm
- 3:31Speaker 2: dog diarrhea. Low completion percentage and almost zero pass yards.
- 3:36Speaker 2: That's what Bears quarterbacking is all about.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Just terrific analysis, Tony. And you know, watching that game
- 3:42Speaker 1: just brought back so many memories of you know, Rex Ghostman,
- 3:45Speaker 1: Kyle Lawton, you know.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Just legendary Bears quarterbacks.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Absolutely all right. Well, now through the Panthers, who lost
- 3:53Speaker 1: to the Saints by the score of forty seven to ten. Tony,
- 3:57Speaker 1: did you watch that game? No?
- 4:00Speaker 2: I didn't, did you No?
- 4:03Speaker 1: Okay, well, let's just move on.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Let's go talk.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Let's talk about the Eagles game. We haven't covered it.
- 4:08Speaker 1: You know, obviously they start the season undefeated at one
- 4:11Speaker 1: to zero, just like we predicted. And by the way,
- 4:13Speaker 1: you can go to our merch store and get that shirt.
- 4:16Speaker 1: It's undefeated at one in er exactly. Now, Tony, a
- 4:20Speaker 1: lot to say here, but what's your main thought about
- 4:23Speaker 1: this very decisive win.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Frankly, to me, that Eagles win in Brazil counts as
- 4:29Speaker 2: a championship because when you think about it, we say
- 4:32Speaker 2: that titles are national championships. Well, that was the only
- 4:37Speaker 2: football game taking place in Brazil this year, so that
- 4:41Speaker 2: makes the Eagles the national champions of Brazil. Congratulations on
- 4:46Speaker 2: the title, boys.
- 4:48Speaker 1: So well said that, Oh, you know, we got to
- 4:52Speaker 1: cover this though. By the way, you know, even though
- 4:54Speaker 1: this is the NFL Reaction Show, we do need to
- 4:57Speaker 1: address what happened at the US Open tennis event today
- 5:00Speaker 1: with Janet Skinner winning just a couple of weeks after
- 5:04Speaker 1: he failed two drug tests which showed steroids in his system.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Now he's been cleared since of all the charges and whatnot,
- 5:11Speaker 1: But to me today he made a total mistake. I mean,
- 5:15Speaker 1: if you're under suspicion of doping, the last thing you
- 5:18Speaker 1: should do is win a tennis major, Isn't that right?
- 5:21Speaker 2: Though obviously you know if I was him, I would
- 5:25Speaker 2: have been out in the first round just to clear
- 5:28Speaker 2: all suspicion. And you know, when Wimbledon comes around, you know,
- 5:32Speaker 2: maybe then you make it to the quarters of the semis,
- 5:35Speaker 2: you move slow, then you win the next US Open.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Terrific tennis analysis that Dody and Well, that wraps our
- 5:44Speaker 1: NFL and I guess Tennis Reaction show. Hey, don't forget,

- 6:02Speaker 1: Your corrections go?
- 6:03Speaker 3: What?
- 6:03Speaker 2: All right? Hurry up?
- 6:05Speaker 3: You said Kyle Orton was a legendary Bears quarterback.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Yeah, relatively.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Yeah, he was pretty good.
- 6:11Speaker 3: Yeah, he never even started a playoff game for them,
- 6:14Speaker 3: so I wouldn't call him legendary.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well when I throw you off allege, that
- 6:21Speaker 1: will be legendary.
- 6:23Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what Bear is gonna be legendary the
- 6:26Speaker 2: one I get to maul you to death.
- 6:32Speaker 1: At he still talking? What you said?
- 6:34Speaker 3: The winner of the US Open was Jenic Sinner, and
- 6:38Speaker 3: I even think you might have said Skinner.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Yeah, so so yeah what No.
- 6:44Speaker 3: It's Yannick Center, not jenk He's European.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well I'm going to be European on your
- 6:52Speaker 1: dead body.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Yeah, you're gonna have a US Open stab wound. Oh okay,
- 7:00Speaker 2: wait for that from you. He's done tolding. That's it
