- 0:05SPEAKER_02: My name is Elise Bassine, spiritual mentor, breathwork practitioner, and owner and CEO of Elise Breeds.
- 0:12SPEAKER_02: For many years, our consciousness has been hijacked by societal and cultural programming, religion, the media, and familial and ancestral trauma.
- 0:21SPEAKER_02: Right now, during this epic time in history, people are waking up, realizing who they really are, and reclaiming the pieces of their consciousness that they unknowingly gave away.
- 0:33SPEAKER_02: This podcast is an exploration of how so many spectacular humans are leading the way in exiting the matrix and reclaiming who they really are and what they're capable of.
- 0:44SPEAKER_02: In this show, you'll meet exceptional people who are paving the way in raising consciousness and creating a new way of living on this earth.
- 0:52SPEAKER_02: Get ready to go deep.
- 0:54SPEAKER_02: Now let's dive in.
- 1:00SPEAKER_02: Hi everyone.
- 1:01SPEAKER_02: Welcome back to the show.
- 1:02SPEAKER_02: So this week's guest I have for you is pretty special.
- 1:07SPEAKER_02: Um, so this week we have Krista Williams with us on the show, who is one of the co-hosts of the Almost 30 podcasts, which I'm sure you guys have heard of.
- 1:17SPEAKER_02: It's a very popular podcast that I think everyone kind of knows about at this point if you're into personal growth and healing and all of that.
- 1:26SPEAKER_02: So the conversation I have with Krista is really profound.
- 1:30SPEAKER_02: Um, we talk about healing the mother wound, which everyone knows is one of my favorite things to talk about, and just her journey and all the little nuances of healing and um the importance of it.
- 1:44SPEAKER_02: So I think you guys are really gonna love this episode.
- 1:47SPEAKER_02: It was really great to connect with her and just hear her story and her journey and just talk about the healing journey and the mother wound, which you know I think is probably one of the most important pieces of work that you can do when it comes to healing trauma.
- 2:03SPEAKER_02: I know you're gonna enjoy it.
- 2:05SPEAKER_02: And then a couple of quick announcements.
- 2:07SPEAKER_02: So we are fully sold out for the retreat, which is super exciting.
- 2:10SPEAKER_02: But stay tuned for the next one because we already have Costa Rica booked for April of 2023, April 1 to 8.
- 2:20SPEAKER_02: So I'm gonna open that up for enrollment in September.
- 2:24SPEAKER_02: So definitely stay tuned for that.
- 2:26SPEAKER_02: And then also we are running a special on the Ascension Toolkit right now, which is my digital toolkit to kind of dip your toe into my work.
- 2:37SPEAKER_02: Um, because a lot of my work consists of the tools that I create for you for you to experience profound transformation.
- 2:44SPEAKER_02: So the Ascension Toolkit includes four breath work sessions, three meditations, and journaling prompts on all the major challenges that we all come up against: relationships, money, intuition, and releasing fear.
- 3:00SPEAKER_02: So, right now, if you leave a review for the podcast, send me a screenshot of it, and we will send you a code to get 50% off the Ascension Toolkit.
- 3:11SPEAKER_02: So everyone really gets so much out of it.
- 3:14SPEAKER_02: I know everyone loves the abundance breathwork session.
- 3:17SPEAKER_02: People have really profound transformations from that.
- 3:20SPEAKER_02: So definitely jump on that.
- 3:22SPEAKER_02: Just send me the screenshot either to info at elisebreathes.com or you can DM it to me on Instagram at elise underscore breathes.
- 3:32SPEAKER_02: So without further ado, enjoy the episode.
- 3:37SPEAKER_02: Hi everyone, welcome back to the show.
- 3:40SPEAKER_02: So I am super excited for today's guest.
- 3:43SPEAKER_02: We have Krista Williams with us today, and she is the co-founder of Almost 30, a top 50 podcast, global brand and community.
- 3:52SPEAKER_02: She has a background in digital marketing and sales and strategy at Fortune 100 companies, but she left the corporate world to build almost 30 from the ground up.
- 4:02SPEAKER_02: And we're gonna talk to her all about this today.
- 4:04SPEAKER_02: I don't need to read her whole bio because I'm sure we'll get into a lot of it.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: But welcome to the show, Krista.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: I'm so glad you're here.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I don't.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: The bio moment is just it never feels accurate to who you you are as like a person either.
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: It's like your bio is written by your ego very much.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: So you're just kind of sitting there thinking, that's my what my ego wants you to know.
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: It's like this accelerated version of you or something.
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: 100%.
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: You're like, who is that?
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: You're like, I'm really just like a very sensitive person just trying to love my life.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: Totally.
- 4:39SPEAKER_02: Yes, exactly.
- 4:40SPEAKER_02: So I love to just dive right in.
- 4:42SPEAKER_02: You know, I don't need to hear like your whole entire story, but anything that you want to share that you feel like was like pivotal kind of on your path to where you are now.
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so I'm someone that's always been a seeker.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: I'm someone that's always really wanted to find purpose in life and wanted to feel like I was here for a reason.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: Um, I grew up in a small town in Ohio and always just felt this like insane desire for more, for more knowledge, for more information, for more from my life than what I was growing up with or what I saw.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: No one around me really loved what they did.
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: They didn't really have purpose.
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: They didn't really feel um like they had a lot of faith.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: They didn't really feel like they were very expansive or all these things.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: So I first had my spiritual awakening actually when I left college.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: And that was really when I was living in Chicago at the time.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: I was working at a job that was supposed to be a really good job, made really good money.
- 5:36SPEAKER_00: I had followed the path pretty much to a T until that point.
- 5:41SPEAKER_00: And when I was in the corporate world, I realized like, oh, this is really not for me.
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: And I had really been sold a bill of goods that didn't really fit who I was.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: I was incredibly depressed and anxious.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: And I just had a breaking point at one point where I realized that I kept waking up and I didn't want to wake up in the morning.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: I was like, every time I woke up, I was so anxious and I was feeling so unaligned that I would just be like, oh my God, I woke up again.
- 6:06SPEAKER_00: Like I just had this deep grief that I felt because I felt like I was living a life that wasn't mine.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: So I quit that job and I traveled in Patagonia for a few months, just did a lot of soul searching, took a lot of time off, and then eventually ended up moving to New York and just continuing on a path of finding jobs and finding situations that felt more aligned to who I was, but didn't feel like the right thing.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: And when I eventually met Lindsay, who's my podcast co-host about seven years ago, we met at this point where we were in our 20s and we had that feeling again of wanting to know more and wanting to be more of ourselves and wanting to feel more at peace and wanting to feel like, you know, our life was here with purpose and that we had like a reason for really existing and that we had more answers than questions.
- 6:54SPEAKER_00: And so we started to have really deep conversations.
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: And one day I just said, you know, do you want to start a podcast?
- 6:59SPEAKER_00: Do you think we could do this?
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: And six years ago, people weren't doing podcasts like they are.
- 7:03SPEAKER_00: So I really think that that was something that really supported us in growing almost 30 to what it is today.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: And we used just our intuition the entire part of the journey.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: Our friendship is the foundation of the show.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: And we've grown almost 30 from, you know, something that we did on our closet floors for years while we had full-time jobs to something that is really supportive of people in their spiritual evolution or their evolution of just really becoming more of who they are.
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: And I'm just so proud of what we've done.
- 7:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's amazing.
- 7:34SPEAKER_02: So that's a lot what you just said.
- 7:37SPEAKER_02: And I know there's like a journey in there.
- 7:39SPEAKER_02: So, like, what were some of the challenges that came up for you guys in the process of all of that?
- 7:45SPEAKER_02: Like, I'm sure you were forced to become a different version of yourself.
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: So, can you talk a little bit about that?
- 7:50SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh, yeah.
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: So I think there were so many parts that were challenging, but it seems to me like most of the parts that were most challenging are often self-imposed.
- 7:59SPEAKER_00: So it's oftentimes your own limiting beliefs, your own beliefs of what's possible, your own patterns and fears.
- 8:07SPEAKER_00: I think what I would say is that for Lindsay and I, you know, we're two best friends.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: We're two women that um have this dream, but it's not been easy within our relationship.
- 8:16SPEAKER_00: Like it's the most beautiful thing in my life, our relationship is, but it's not easy to build something from the ground up with someone that you love.
- 8:24SPEAKER_00: You know, you have difference of working styles, difference of opinions, difference of dreams, difference of goals.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: You have to trust each other.
- 8:32SPEAKER_00: We have a 50-50 ownership in our business.
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: So our finances are so deeply intertwined, it's almost like a marriage.
- 8:38SPEAKER_00: So we've had to really work through a lot of different conversations and hard talks and, you know, my trust issues with women.
- 8:45SPEAKER_00: I was someone that really, really feared being in deep, intimate relationship with women.
- 8:49SPEAKER_00: So I had to really work on healing that with Lindsay, and that felt very vulnerable.
- 8:53SPEAKER_00: Lindsay's also done her own healing with me.
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: And we also had full-time jobs for the majority of the time building the business at the beginning.
- 9:00SPEAKER_00: So we not only were building almost 30 as a full-time job, but we had to be at a full-time job from nine to five.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: I was driving two hours to work each day.
- 9:11SPEAKER_00: And at nights and weekends, I would work on almost 30.
- 9:13SPEAKER_00: And so we really just were like grinding.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: We were working all the time, and that didn't feel good.
- 9:19SPEAKER_00: It doesn't feel good to be working all the time and producing all the time, but I knew this was something that I wanted and it was really, really worth it.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: So beyond working a lot and the communication things within relationship with my best friend, it hasn't always been easy, but it's been something that has really made me more of who I am.
- 9:38SPEAKER_02: Oh, totally.
- 9:39SPEAKER_02: So I'd love to go into more because you know, when we talk about our relationships with women, this is something that I talk about a lot because, you know, I do like this deep trauma work with people.
- 9:49SPEAKER_02: And it's always coming back to like this wounding of the mother, the mother wound, and this wounding of the feminine energy.
- 9:57SPEAKER_02: And I'd love to like dive a little bit deeper into that, just from your experience, where do you feel like that originated from?
- 10:04SPEAKER_02: And then like a little bit of your journey with that or anything that you've come to understand from all of that.
- 10:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, the mother wound is my deepest work, and it's something that I work on to this day.
- 10:15SPEAKER_00: I'm sure if you've done any work on that, it's so profound.
- 10:18SPEAKER_00: So, for anyone listening, you know, when we think about our lives and we think about us as a child, to us, the mother was life.
- 10:25SPEAKER_00: So the father is very important, of course, but the mother is actually life.
- 10:29SPEAKER_00: She gives us life through breast milk, she gives us life through the womb.
- 10:33SPEAKER_00: It really is our number one source of safety, of security, of confidence, of food, of nourishment, of every single thing.
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: So when that relationship is fractured, it can really affect you in a variety of ways.
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: You can have trust issues, abandonment issues, secure attachment or insecure attachment.
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: You can have anxious avoidant attachment.
- 10:52SPEAKER_00: You can have so many different things that come just from that mother wound.
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: And whether your mother was amazing or whether your mother was really, really torturous to you, it can affect you in a variety of ways because no mother was perfect.
- 11:06SPEAKER_00: So we all have a type of mother wound.
- 11:08SPEAKER_00: We all have different versions of what the mother wound really, really looks like.
- 11:12SPEAKER_00: And from a societal perspective, when we think about the mother wound, this is something that shows up all the time.
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: This is really where the patriarchy comes and really just distorts a lot of the power of the feminine and really makes women be like in a box.
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: It really boxes us into being something that has to be really beautiful, successful, to be all of the things all the time.
- 11:31SPEAKER_00: So it affects us in a lot of different ways.
- 11:33SPEAKER_00: But for me, my mother wound has been my the number one source of a lot of the things that I've had to work through to become who I am and more of who I am.
- 11:42SPEAKER_00: I grew up with a mom that had a lot of mental health issues.
- 11:45SPEAKER_00: There was a lot of chaos in my household.
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: There was a lot of talks of suicide.
- 11:50SPEAKER_00: There was just a lot of things going on.
- 11:53SPEAKER_00: So for me, that created and caused me to have an insecure attachment style where I never really feel like I'm fully connected to someone, whether it's an intimate partner or a friend.
- 12:04SPEAKER_00: Although people feel very close to me, it's very, very hard for me to feel deeply connected and entrust with someone.
- 12:10SPEAKER_00: And then it also affects me in the ways of more surface things like your body image.
- 12:14SPEAKER_00: I think for so many women, we struggle with issues around our body and around food, around nourishing ourselves, around feeling good in our bodies and good as we are.
- 12:24SPEAKER_00: And a lot of that is because we've seen our mothers who oftentimes don't love their bodies, oftentimes didn't feel good in their bodies, might have really restricted us with our eating, or might have talked about dieting or how they hated the way they looked in front of us.
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: And so it really can impact us in such a variety of ways.
- 12:41SPEAKER_00: And for me, it's really been around trust in my body image with the way that I show up.
- 12:46SPEAKER_00: But it's one of those things within healing is the more you go deeper, the deeper that you go, the more you really discover the ways that it impacts you and the way this, the ways that it shows up in your life.
- 12:57SPEAKER_00: So it never really ends.
- 12:58SPEAKER_00: But I do think that the mother wound work is really some of the most profound work that people can do.
- 13:03SPEAKER_00: And for people to get started on that, whether it's, you know, working with you or getting more information from you, there's also a book called Discover the Inner Mother by Bethany Webster.
- 13:13SPEAKER_00: And it's a really powerful book for anyone that's really exploring the mother wound and that work and how it's really showing up for them so that they can really step into their power more so.
- 13:23SPEAKER_02: I love that.
- 13:23SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 13:24SPEAKER_02: There's so many things that you said that I kind of want to touch on.
- 13:27SPEAKER_02: The first one being like something that just occurs to me that's so important to point out about this that I feel like trips people up is the thing that comes up for people when it comes to working with this wound because this person that was supposed to, like you said, provide life and was our source of connection.
- 13:47SPEAKER_02: And in almost everyone's case, like the person you love the most in the world, right, is also the source of this huge wound or this huge pain.
- 13:58SPEAKER_02: And I think a lot of people have trouble kind of wrapping their heads around that.
- 14:03SPEAKER_02: And I, you know, a lot of people that I speak to who are newer to working with this energy, it's hard for them because they're like, well, I love my mom.
- 14:12SPEAKER_02: My mom has been the most amazing person in my life, my mom has been the most inspirational person in my life.
- 14:18SPEAKER_02: And while all that is true, there also has to be this deep level of acknowledgement for the ways that you were hurt by her as well.
- 14:28SPEAKER_02: And I think that that's something that is hard for people because it's hard to even say, like, I know for me, when I had to say my mother was narcissistic, my mother was emotionally abusive.
- 14:40SPEAKER_02: That doesn't take away from the fact that I love my mom so much.
- 14:44SPEAKER_02: She's an amazing person.
- 14:46SPEAKER_02: And I had those experiences, right?
- 14:49SPEAKER_02: So I think that's something that kind of black people or hold people back in a way because they're kind of like, well, it almost feels like an act of betrayal to go into that work.
- 15:00SPEAKER_02: So I don't know if that's something that you came up against or have felt, but I just feel like I needed to touch on that first.
- 15:06SPEAKER_02: And if you have anything to say about that.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: That's huge.
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm really glad you brought that up because, you know, people do believe that if they have their own experience and admit the truth of their experience, that it makes their mother bad or that it makes them evil or that it makes them something.
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: But you can actually have the two truths at once.
- 15:25SPEAKER_00: You can have your own experience of being having trauma or having emotional abuse or neglect or abandonment or whatever that was.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: And then you can also have the experience of having a mom that tried her best, that really didn't know how else to raise you in the best way and that you really love.
- 15:41SPEAKER_00: So, what I suggest for people, if they feel that, is you know, the mother wound work, it's not something where you're like, I'm doing the mother wound work and I'm going to approach my mother and tell her that she traumatized me and have this conversation with her.
- 15:54SPEAKER_00: And like, it actually can be done completely on your own and completely solo.
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: That's how I did it.
- 15:59SPEAKER_00: That's how I choose to do my work, is focus on me.
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: And you don't need to involve your mother in the process.
- 16:05SPEAKER_00: And also know that your mother had a mother as well.
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: And your mother was also affected by her mother.
- 16:10SPEAKER_00: So not only is your mother a perpetrator, if we're saying that, she's also a victim herself.
- 16:14SPEAKER_00: So she's also experienced her own issues and her own struggles.
- 16:18SPEAKER_00: But when you're a child, you don't understand and you're not able to contextualize if your mother is harming you or helping you in a lot of the cases.
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: So what happens is you'll be have an amazing mother who will do everything right.
- 16:31SPEAKER_00: And then one day she won't pick you up from school.
- 16:34SPEAKER_00: And that might be something that completely shatters and breaks you and feels like something that is really harmful for you from that perspective of your brain development from a younger person, doesn't really understand that, oh, it's okay.
- 16:46SPEAKER_00: You know, she's gonna pick me up later.
- 16:48SPEAKER_00: It's all good.
- 16:48SPEAKER_00: She'll be here next time.
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: Your brain at that time sees you doing something wrong and can create a story or situation that creates trauma that says, oh my God, my mom's never coming.
- 16:59SPEAKER_00: We oftentimes think in the healing process that our brain development is the same as it is now, as it was back then, and it's not.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: We see things completely differently.
- 17:07SPEAKER_00: So we actually don't have the conscious lens or the conscious mind to see, like, oh my God, my mom's doing everything she can.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: She's really busy.
- 17:15SPEAKER_00: She forgot to get me this time.
- 17:16SPEAKER_00: Your brain doesn't process things in that same way.
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: So for really just to give yourself enough space to give your younger self, your teenage self, the space and time to really express their feelings of how their experience with the mother was and not deny a truth that could be there because you're afraid to look at or label your mom as bad.
- 17:38SPEAKER_00: And then that's the thing too, is when are we really looking at things as like good or bad?
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: You know, I'm afraid of looking at the mother wound because then I'm gonna see her as bad.
- 17:46SPEAKER_00: If we're really living our life and just kind of putting people in boxes of good and bad, and they did something wrong.
- 17:52SPEAKER_00: So they, you know, aren't a good mom or whatever, then we're never really gonna get anywhere.
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: So how can we hold two truths at once?
- 18:00SPEAKER_00: Of I actually went through something that impacted me negatively and positively, and I'm gonna look at it and be really honest about my experience.
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: And I'm gonna love my mom and hold her with a lot of regard and compassion.
- 18:12SPEAKER_02: A hundred percent.
- 18:13SPEAKER_02: First of all, I love that you said about not needing to talk to your mom because I think this is another big misconception that people have.
- 18:20SPEAKER_02: And I tell people all the time, I'm like, listen, we're gonna go down this path, we're gonna do this work, and you don't have to talk to any of your family members about this.
- 18:29SPEAKER_02: Like, no one needs to know what you're doing.
- 18:31SPEAKER_02: And the amazing thing about that is that I have completely changed my relationship with my mother, and we basically have never even spoken about the work that I've done.
- 18:41SPEAKER_02: And our relationship is like, is amazing now.
- 18:44SPEAKER_02: I couldn't ask for it to be any better.
- 18:46SPEAKER_02: So there's that piece of it.
- 18:48SPEAKER_02: And then also I feel like the piece that you mentioned about brain development is so important because I feel like that because of the way that we think now, we can look back at the situation and be like, I understand why my mom did that.
- 19:03SPEAKER_02: My mom did the best that she could, and it's okay, I get it.
- 19:07SPEAKER_02: But then that creates a way that we completely dismiss the way that we felt as a child because we see it from the adult perspective now.
- 19:17SPEAKER_02: So we're like, oh, well, you know, that happened, but it's okay, and we can make it okay in our minds and create a story about why it was fine and why we're not affected by it, and completely dismiss how we are.
- 19:30SPEAKER_02: So I think it's so important to like point that out because that's something that we can totally go into as a story.
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: It's huge.
- 19:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I love the piece that you brought up about not telling them, just kind of reflecting that, because I think what happens is a lot of times when people have a lot of hurt and pain, they're like, oh, I'm working on the mother wound or I'm working on this.
- 19:52SPEAKER_00: I need to go and process it with someone or talk to someone about it.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: And oftentimes that can come from the same energy of the pain or of the shame or the guilt or of anger or frustration.
- 20:04SPEAKER_00: And you're not really looking to heal, but you're looking to hurt someone in the way that you were hurting.
- 20:09SPEAKER_00: So I've often found that some of the deepest healing and the most profound healing that I'm doing, if I'm doing it just for me, it's happening in my own universe, it's happening with my own experience and I'm not involving other people because it can really become something where we have an expectation of someone to be able to hold us, to be able to respond to us and say all the things we wish they would have said.
- 20:31SPEAKER_00: We have this whole story that we sort of create and we really don't set them up to support us in the best way possible.
- 20:37SPEAKER_00: And we oftentimes really shortchange our healing or can kind of take our healing off track because then we're really making our healing about someone else and not about just our experience of re-mothering ourselves.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: And I think that's the most important thing is learning how to mother ourselves.
- 20:54SPEAKER_02: Yes, I love that.
- 20:56SPEAKER_02: So, how do you feel like you kind of got propelled down this healing path?
- 21:00SPEAKER_02: Like, what were some of the things?
- 21:02SPEAKER_02: Like, was it when you started the podcast or was it before that?
- 21:05SPEAKER_02: Like, how did you start going down this journey?
- 21:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think my awakening happened.
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: I think a lot of when I really had just such bad anxiety and I was really, really depressed, I had to figure out something.
- 21:19SPEAKER_00: And what I did was started to meditate.
- 21:22SPEAKER_00: You know, I was like 23 at the time, and I just started to get really, really honest about my life.
- 21:27SPEAKER_00: I'm like, okay, if I am really unable to be with myself and be with my thoughts, what is something that I can do today?
- 21:34SPEAKER_00: And that was meditating.
- 21:36SPEAKER_00: And then I stopped drinking when I was like 24, 25.
- 21:40SPEAKER_00: I don't drink now.
- 21:41SPEAKER_00: And that was something that was very radical at the time.
- 21:44SPEAKER_00: I was living in Chicago, which is a very drinking heavy city.
- 21:47SPEAKER_00: I then lived in New York, which is a very drinking heavy city.
- 21:50SPEAKER_00: And it was like very odd for me to be doing that.
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: But I knew that I did not feel mentally well when I was drinking.
- 21:56SPEAKER_00: And I knew that when I wasn't drinking, my moods were better, I had more energy.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: I was able to spend time on things that I loved.
- 22:02SPEAKER_00: And I really was just kind of following these nuggets of these little signs from the universe.
- 22:08SPEAKER_00: Like I should travel more.
- 22:10SPEAKER_00: I shouldn't drink, or I should start meditating, or I should hang out with these people more.
- 22:14SPEAKER_00: Once you're really able to get more clear with yourself through meditation or mindfulness or choosing yourself or whatever your process is to get clear and able to hear your inner voice, it becomes something that's so much more easy to follow.
- 22:27SPEAKER_00: So I'd say meditation and then not drinking were the first steps on my path.
- 22:31SPEAKER_00: And then it really, really accelerated when I did move to Los Angeles and we really started almost 30.
- 22:37SPEAKER_00: And it's been something that's just expanded even more so.
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: But I've always been a spiritual being.
- 22:42SPEAKER_00: Like I've always felt like I was spirit first before anything else.
- 22:46SPEAKER_00: I was always just about the feelings, just about the energetics.
- 22:49SPEAKER_00: And I never knew what that was until I was able to really understand it when I got older.
- 22:54SPEAKER_00: And now it just makes so much sense that leading with a foundation of spirituality or foundation of connection to God or source as my number one in my life is like the most important thing.
- 23:05SPEAKER_00: And then that's how I can structure the rest of my goals or the rest of my life.
- 23:09SPEAKER_02: Yeah, definitely.
- 23:10SPEAKER_02: And I think, you know, what I noticed too, I think the hardest thing for people is not necessarily knowing what you're being called to do, but actually doing it.
- 23:21SPEAKER_02: So what would you say to like the person who's struggling with that?
- 23:25SPEAKER_02: Of like, how do I actually trust what I'm being shown and take action on it?
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: I love that you brought that up.
- 23:32SPEAKER_00: And I think what I've realized is that so often so many women that we work with, or so many women in our community, will say, I don't know.
- 23:40SPEAKER_00: It's like, what do you want to do with your life?
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: And they're like, I don't know.
- 23:42SPEAKER_00: Do you want to be with this person?
- 23:44SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 23:44SPEAKER_00: There's so much I don't know.
- 23:46SPEAKER_00: But I think oftentimes there's such a difference between saying I don't know and saying, I know, but I'm scared.
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: And I think a lot of times people know the truth, but they're scared of what that means.
- 23:57SPEAKER_00: And I think if we can move from the I don't know to I know and I'm scared, it's such a difference because it's okay to be scared.
- 24:04SPEAKER_00: It's okay to be scared of your dreams or what you want in life.
- 24:07SPEAKER_00: And oftentimes it kind of takes a few questions of like, if anything could happen, if you could have the dream life, the dream career, there was no limits.
- 24:15SPEAKER_00: You can kind of work your way to really understanding what someone truthfully wants from their life.
- 24:20SPEAKER_00: But oftentimes it takes a lot of like recontextualizing, there's no limits, like recontextualizing, like you could have your dreams come true because we have so many blocks in our life from having a life that we love or a relationship that we love or a career that we love that currently stop us.
- 24:39SPEAKER_00: So what I suggest for people is to really think about like if maybe in quiet, maybe in solitude, maybe in silence, maybe in meditation, really just kind of catching themselves in moments where they're making blocks or they're limiting themselves and really just continuing to play with those limits.
- 24:54SPEAKER_00: Because even I do that, you know, if I'm like, okay, I could live in my dream location anywhere in the world, I would say, I would live in Malibu, you know, I'd live on a cliff in Malibu.
- 25:04SPEAKER_00: But it's like, is that even a limit?
- 25:05SPEAKER_00: Like if I anywhere in the world, anywhere, anywhere, anywhere, you know, if we even think bigger and bigger and bigger, and I had could have more than one house, what would that be like?
- 25:14SPEAKER_00: So how can we continue to just like expand our consciousness to really allow ourselves to get dreamy, to be um more truthful?
- 25:22SPEAKER_00: Because if we're not truthful and honest with ourselves, then we're not going to be truthful and honest with other people.
- 25:26SPEAKER_00: So even if you're just with yourself and you're alone and you're being honest with you, I think that's the most important.
- 25:32SPEAKER_02: I think this is so important to touch on is when we're talking about kind of like expanding these limitations that we have and like all of this programming that we receive, you know, and and I often talk about, you know, there's so many different layers and levels of trauma, but there's also just like what I call the trauma of being human and just like the trauma that we receive just from being a human being on planet Earth.
- 25:55SPEAKER_02: And a lot of that is just being bombarded by this programming of limitation, of where you're only can do this thing.
- 26:03SPEAKER_02: You can, this is the only thing that's available to you.
- 26:05SPEAKER_02: This is the path you have to take, this is what you're capable of.
- 26:09SPEAKER_02: And it's all lies, essentially.
- 26:12SPEAKER_02: So I love what you're talking about about kind of continuing to like even just question what limitations you're setting for yourself.
- 26:20SPEAKER_02: Because again, it's like you said, okay, well, I'd want to live here, but like, is that really all that's available to me?
- 26:27SPEAKER_02: And I think one of the most important things is just like continuing to question everything that you are doing all the time.
- 26:36SPEAKER_02: So it's like, well, you know, a lot of what I talk about too is asking yourself if you're operating from wounding or if you're operating from alignment, right?
- 26:44SPEAKER_02: And like constantly being in that place of questioning like, where is this coming from and why am I doing this?
- 26:51SPEAKER_02: Because we've been subjected to so much programming about who we are and what's available to us that we have to question that.
- 26:59SPEAKER_02: We have to look at that constantly.
- 27:02SPEAKER_02: So I love that you brought that up.
- 27:04SPEAKER_02: And thank you for sharing some of those things that we can do.
- 27:08SPEAKER_02: So I'd love to know too.
- 27:09SPEAKER_02: Well, there's a couple of things.
- 27:11SPEAKER_02: One, I know obviously for me and my own journey, starting your own business is a crazy journey of personal growth.
- 27:19SPEAKER_02: So, what are some things like you've learned over the years of not only like having this podcast and growing this business, but I know you've talked to so many amazing people on the podcast.
- 27:30SPEAKER_02: Like, what were some really cool points of growth or expansion or enlightenment for you throughout that journey?
- 27:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 27:38SPEAKER_00: So, as far as you know, the journey of entrepreneurship being a spiritual path, I have been in a lot of careers.
- 27:45SPEAKER_00: I've done a lot of different things along my journey.
- 27:48SPEAKER_00: I've, but entrepreneurship has definitely been the highest growth path.
- 27:52SPEAKER_00: And I think because it's one-to-one.
- 27:54SPEAKER_00: So if it's really you that's creating, producing, driving the ship, being the own motivator, you know, really your energy is in all parts of the business and your energy is the thing that people connect with, then you're able to see mirrored back to you how you're showing up.
- 28:08SPEAKER_00: So are you, you know, limiting yourself?
- 28:10SPEAKER_00: Are you unaligned?
- 28:12SPEAKER_00: Are you afraid of being seen?
- 28:14SPEAKER_00: Are you afraid of making a lot of money?
- 28:16SPEAKER_00: Are you afraid of your truth?
- 28:18SPEAKER_00: Your mirror is so much more clear than if you're working at a corporate job, because then you have a lot of people's energies, you're sort of mirroring back to a lot of different people.
- 28:26SPEAKER_00: It's just not as clear.
- 28:28SPEAKER_00: So yeah, it's been very profound and it's been a deep, deep spiritual learning.
- 28:32SPEAKER_00: And I think when you're in our space of personal growth and development, everything is really that like opportunity of like, whoa, what am I doing to cause this?
- 28:41SPEAKER_00: You know, and that can kind of even drive you crazy.
- 28:43SPEAKER_00: Sometimes I'm like, oh my God, I kind of wish I was a victim still.
- 28:46SPEAKER_00: Because when so much easier, you're like, what's causing this like call to be rescheduled twice a week?
- 28:52SPEAKER_00: What am I doing to like energetically show?
- 28:54SPEAKER_00: You know, sometimes it can be super exhausting, but it's really beautiful at the same time.
- 28:59SPEAKER_00: And I think through the process of almost 30 and interviewing 400 people that are so powerful and incredible, what I've realized is that most of them have really been able to master their own like observer mentality and get curious about themselves, like what you said.
- 29:17SPEAKER_00: So being an observer of your mind is when you are able to really watch yourself, watch your patterns, watch your processes, and then be non-judgmental about it and make better decisions from that point.
- 29:29SPEAKER_00: So if you're like, hey, I noticed that I'm spending a lot of time on social media, I'm spending two hours a day scrolling.
- 29:35SPEAKER_00: How can I get really curious about that from an observer perspective and really see what I'm doing to make a better choice?
- 29:41SPEAKER_00: So all these people who are leaders in personal growth and development and spirituality and all these things are really observers of their life from a non-judgmental perspective that allows them to really see with clarity like how they can move forward in a better, more aligned way without a lot of the story.
- 29:58SPEAKER_00: Because when we attach a lot of the story to it, you know, if we're being an observer and we still have a story of like, oh my God, I'm on my phone for two hours a day because I'm a huge loser.
- 30:07SPEAKER_00: I can't ever focus, I can't ever do these things, then the observer doesn't really help you.
- 30:12SPEAKER_00: It just helps you to see and then create a story that actually keeps you in that place.
- 30:16SPEAKER_00: So how can you be an observer and then be really kind to yourself about your next steps to really change your life in a way that feels really more like you?
- 30:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I love that you brought that up because this is something I I was literally just talking about this on my last like group call, which was right before this, about just how we treat ourselves.
- 30:35SPEAKER_02: And, you know, there can be kind of like this trap almost on the personal growth path of constantly trying to find something that you need to fix or change about yourself and kind of like using it as an excuse to like go into perfectionism, where you're like, okay, I'm constantly having to fix something.
- 30:53SPEAKER_02: And then it takes you out of like actually being accepting and loving towards yourself, which is really the most important thing.
- 31:01SPEAKER_02: I always like tell this funny story of when I first started going into the Akashic Records, like consciously, I think I'd always been doing it.
- 31:09SPEAKER_02: But the first time I consciously was going into the records, the overwhelming message I would get constantly is you need to love yourself more.
- 31:18SPEAKER_02: You need to love yourself more.
- 31:19SPEAKER_02: And I was like, oh, this is like so boring.
- 31:22SPEAKER_02: Like, can't they give me this?
- 31:23SPEAKER_02: Is so cliche.
- 31:24SPEAKER_02: Like, can't they give me some cool stuff, cool information, you know?
- 31:28SPEAKER_02: And like I would get that over and over again, but it really is so true and it's such an important part of the path.
- 31:35SPEAKER_02: And I think it's something that like is kind of overlooked because it seems so simple, so easy, but it's actually one of the hardest things you can do.
- 31:43SPEAKER_02: And I think it's something that people struggle with is just like the way you treat yourself, you know, and the way you're like talking to yourself.
- 31:51SPEAKER_02: Because I always say, too, we treat ourselves the way our parents treated us, and we talk to ourselves the way our parents talk to us.
- 31:57SPEAKER_02: So I'm curious for you, like what are some ways that you were able to make some shifts in the way that you treat yourself or talk to yourself?
- 32:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's huge.
- 32:06SPEAKER_00: I'm really glad you brought that up.
- 32:07SPEAKER_00: But you know, our mental chatter and our mental voice and our the way that we interact with ourselves is like one of the most important things.
- 32:16SPEAKER_00: And that really is a lot of your experience in life is this what's going on in the mind.
- 32:22SPEAKER_00: And one of my favorite quotes is wherever you go, there you are.
- 32:26SPEAKER_00: Because, you know, in my life, I've been in really, really beautiful places all over the world.
- 32:31SPEAKER_00: I've been in not so beautiful places all over the world.
- 32:33SPEAKER_00: And it was like sometimes I realized that it didn't make a difference.
- 32:36SPEAKER_00: My experience was totally created by what was going on in my mind.
- 32:40SPEAKER_00: I could be in a really beautiful place, but if I was going through a breakup, it didn't matter.
- 32:43SPEAKER_00: My experience was created in my mind.
- 32:45SPEAKER_00: If I was in a really ugly place, but I was with my best friends, and my experience didn't matter.
- 32:49SPEAKER_00: It was going on with my mind.
- 32:51SPEAKER_00: So the relationship we have inside of our mind is like the most important one that you can have.
- 32:56SPEAKER_00: And I think the meditation piece, again, was like the most important for me to really just unblend my thoughts and unblend my emotions from my personality because I'm someone that's deeply emotional and deeply a feeler.
- 33:10SPEAKER_00: And for most of my life, I couldn't unblend all of the feelings and all of the energies around me from who I was.
- 33:18SPEAKER_00: So I thought of myself as crazy a little bit.
- 33:22SPEAKER_00: I was like, I am just constantly feeling and emoting and expressing and constantly just kind of overtaken by the wave of emotions or energies or experiences around me.
- 33:33SPEAKER_00: And when I was able to really pull up out of that and be like, oh wow, I'm in a room with people that are really angry.
- 33:39SPEAKER_00: And I'm actually feeling myself get angry because of that.
- 33:43SPEAKER_00: But my capital S self, that is my witness, that really is the true me can be like, oh yeah, we got to protect ourselves.
- 33:49SPEAKER_00: We got to put ourselves in a little energy bubble.
- 33:51SPEAKER_00: Like, I'm noticing myself being angry.
- 33:53SPEAKER_00: Like, what kind of is happening here?
- 33:55SPEAKER_00: How can I get curious about it?
- 33:56SPEAKER_00: Or if I would just be like super emotional, you know, even these past couple months with the eclipses and so much going on from an astrological perspective, I have been completely an emotional freak league.
- 34:08SPEAKER_00: And so I've just been all over the place.
- 34:10SPEAKER_00: And instead of really attaching to that, where I'm like, God, I'm a depressed person, I'm a really low person.
- 34:15SPEAKER_00: I really just, I kind of just can't keep myself afloat.
- 34:18SPEAKER_00: I can't keep myself in a good mood.
- 34:20SPEAKER_00: I don't attach to that as my identity.
- 34:22SPEAKER_00: I just kind of witness myself like, oh, I'm having this really emotional experience.
- 34:27SPEAKER_00: That is temporary.
- 34:28SPEAKER_00: It's always temporary, it always has been.
- 34:31SPEAKER_00: How can I just support and love myself along the way?
- 34:33SPEAKER_00: And how can I really just support myself in the feeling of it all so that when it's past, I can be happy in the next phase that I'm in because I was present with myself through that process.
- 34:44SPEAKER_00: So by being really present with yourself through the process, allowing yourself to feel when you do, getting curious about the patterns of your thoughts or the patterns of your emotions and what those are, seeing if you can track those back to a lineage perspective or to a cultural perspective.
- 35:00SPEAKER_00: Because in Los Angeles, oftentimes I would be visited by thought forms that were very specific to Los Angeles, very specific to this environment, which is you're not thin enough or you're not pretty enough, or I want to be picked, or I want to be seen, or all of these things that if I was living in my hometown in Ohio, I wouldn't have those same same thought forms.
- 35:20SPEAKER_00: You know, it's a very different experience.
- 35:22SPEAKER_00: So just being very curious about where you are, sort of what sort of thoughts you have coming in, and how can you really make sure that you have a close relationship with your capital S self, your highest self, so that you know that voice over anything else.
- 35:35SPEAKER_02: I love that.
- 35:36SPEAKER_02: There's so much you said there.
- 35:38SPEAKER_02: First of all, I think it's so important to kind of a lot of what you're describing is like having this levity from what you are experiencing so that you're not just identifying with it and then using it as a reason to beat yourself up.
- 35:53SPEAKER_02: Oh, why am I feeling this way again?
- 35:55SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh, I'm sad again, I'm depressed again.
- 35:57SPEAKER_02: What's wrong with me?
- 35:58SPEAKER_02: I'm not doing enough work.
- 35:59SPEAKER_02: I'm I must not be doing this, it's not working for me, you know.
- 36:03SPEAKER_02: And I feel like people get stuck in that so much.
- 36:05SPEAKER_02: And then the other thing that, you know, I'm constantly working with people on is like you said, how can we relate this pattern back to something we experienced in the past, whether it's an ancestral pattern, whether it's something from your family, which are usually related.
- 36:20SPEAKER_02: So now it's like I know what this pattern of energy is.
- 36:23SPEAKER_02: I can see it for what it is.
- 36:25SPEAKER_02: It's not who I am.
- 36:26SPEAKER_02: It has nothing to do with who I am.
- 36:28SPEAKER_02: It's just a pattern of energy.
- 36:29SPEAKER_02: And how can I support myself through it?
- 36:32SPEAKER_02: And that's like such a deep act of self-love when you like understand what is going on and you're like, okay, I'm gonna support myself through this.
- 36:41SPEAKER_02: And then once you get good at it, you know, like what are the things that work to support yourself through it.
- 36:48SPEAKER_02: So I love that you brought up all of that and just the thought forms, especially living in a big city.
- 36:55SPEAKER_02: I experience that too.
- 36:56SPEAKER_02: And it's a little different because I'm in Philadelphia, but there's different shit going on.
- 37:03SPEAKER_00: Each place has its own unique sort of thing.
- 37:05SPEAKER_00: Like it could be even if you live in a small town, you know, if I was in the small town where I lived, my thought forms would probably be more related to like when I was in my early 20s.
- 37:13SPEAKER_00: Like, I should be married, I should have kids, I should be, you know, kind of doing this thing with my life and career that like really wasn't me.
- 37:20SPEAKER_02: Totally.
- 37:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 37:21SPEAKER_02: And I think it just depends where you are, but also just having that awareness to be able to like realize that that's not even yours.
- 37:28SPEAKER_02: Cause I think, especially with like the way the world is now, with all of the shit in our environment, and we're constantly being bombarded with like frequencies and EMFs and like all the shit.
- 37:39SPEAKER_02: And it's like a lot of it isn't even ours.
- 37:42SPEAKER_02: And like sometimes if we even feel like like I know sometimes for me, I'll be out walking the dog, and all of a sudden I'm feeling a ton of anxiety.
- 37:50SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, is this even mine?
- 37:52SPEAKER_02: Because sometimes I'll immediately go into like, okay, where is this coming from?
- 37:55SPEAKER_02: Blah blah blah.
- 37:56SPEAKER_02: And then I'm like, wait a second, I don't even think this is mine.
- 37:59SPEAKER_02: So then it becomes, how can I protect my energy?
- 38:03SPEAKER_02: And like you were saying, put that bubble around yourself or discern what is yours and what's not.
- 38:09SPEAKER_02: People know this about me.
- 38:10SPEAKER_02: I was a school counselor for 10 years, and like, what if we could have taught kids how to like do energy work on themselves?
- 38:18SPEAKER_02: I teach my own kids that, but we do not learn anything about how to handle our emotions, what emotions are, or how to work with our own energy.
- 38:26SPEAKER_02: And now we're all adults just like trying to figure this shit out, like, oh wow, these thought forms aren't mine.
- 38:33SPEAKER_02: This energy is not mine.
- 38:34SPEAKER_02: So I think it's so, so, so important just to learn how to work with your own energy in that way.
- 38:40SPEAKER_02: And then also, I know we were talking about before we started recording, just about kind of the last two years and all like the craziness of it.
- 38:48SPEAKER_02: And I know that everybody has gone through a transformation in the last two years.
- 38:52SPEAKER_02: So I'm curious to know your experience or any like reflections or thoughts or transformations that you went through or just kind of your perspective on everything right now.
- 39:02SPEAKER_00: What is the past two years?
- 39:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 39:05SPEAKER_00: You know, it's so interesting and it's reminds me of one of my favorite books.
- 39:09SPEAKER_00: It's called Um Moonwalking with Einstein.
- 39:11SPEAKER_00: It's by Jonathan Sanfoer or Joshua Sanfoer, I think, one of their two brothers that are authors.
- 39:18SPEAKER_00: Um, but he talks a lot about memory and how when everything is the same, we oftentimes don't make memories in our brains because our brains create one neural pathway for the experience.
- 39:30SPEAKER_00: And we sort of just continue to use that neural pathway.
- 39:32SPEAKER_00: So basically, those two years when we were at at home doing the same things, not traveling, not, you know, having different experiences, it all kinds of blends into one because our brain sort of remembers it as one neural pathway and it becomes almost one memory.
- 39:48SPEAKER_00: So for a lot of people, we don't really have much different memories or different experiences from the past two years.
- 39:54SPEAKER_00: And I think I'm one of those people.
- 39:56SPEAKER_00: We were kind of doing the same thing.
- 39:57SPEAKER_00: I wasn't really traveling a lot, work was sort of the same, like everything kind of was kept the same.
- 40:03SPEAKER_00: So it's weird because of that fact.
- 40:05SPEAKER_00: But I think from my perspective and from a lot of the people in my life, it was very powerful in that it really helped to crystallize what mattered for them.
- 40:14SPEAKER_00: And I think for Lindsay and I, you know, I'll never forget in March 2020, we had three retreats planned, a tour planned, and we were gonna do a festival that year.
- 40:24SPEAKER_00: And I remember it was like, oh, everything shutting down.
- 40:26SPEAKER_00: And I remember feeling a sense of relief.
- 40:29SPEAKER_00: I was like, oh my God, I'm so relieved.
- 40:31SPEAKER_00: I could totally use a few weeks at home.
- 40:33SPEAKER_00: I could use, you know, I didn't know it was gonna be two years at home, fully use that time at home.
- 40:38SPEAKER_00: And I was just like so relieved.
- 40:40SPEAKER_00: I was like, yes, it felt like vacation a little bit, you know, in the smallest way of vacation.
- 40:44SPEAKER_00: And so I was like, wow, what am I doing where I'm actually not fully excited or interested, or how am I pushing myself?
- 40:52SPEAKER_00: So I think it really helped me to understand the hell yes and the hell no, and sort of like how I can say yes to the things that feel really aligned to me.
- 41:00SPEAKER_00: And how can I use this as like a window of opportunity to build my confidence around getting clear on my priorities and my vision and really what I want from my life and the world?
- 41:10SPEAKER_00: And how can I really stay in my own experience?
- 41:12SPEAKER_00: I think that was the biggest thing is it's very important that we care for people in our lives and in the world, but it's also very important that we tend to our own experience first and we give from a, you know, a full cup, as they say.
- 41:25SPEAKER_00: So it's like, how can we focus on our own nervous systems, our own family, our own emotional experience, our own perspective, our own growth, our own healing, and then from that point serve and help others.
- 41:38SPEAKER_00: I think so many people, because we had such exposure to so much tragedy and so much going on in the world that was just heartbreaking and hard and stressful and you know, terrifying and all these things, people's nervous systems were just completely hijacked and people were acting from this really like a place, that reptilian part of our brain and not really thinking clearly.
- 41:57SPEAKER_00: So I think that really taught me to just stay as much in my own experience and make impact in my life from that full cup and from that place of my own peace rather than a place of fear or stress or anxiety.
- 42:07SPEAKER_02: I love that.
- 42:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I think that's so true.
- 42:10SPEAKER_02: I think so many people were without even realizing how afraid they were, I feel like they were acting from this huge place of fear.
- 42:19SPEAKER_02: I know for some people in my own life that I had interactions with about it, I would be like, I know you're afraid.
- 42:26SPEAKER_02: And they would be like, Well, I'm not afraid, I'm just doing the right thing.
- 42:29SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, no, but this is fear.
- 42:31SPEAKER_02: Like, so I feel like it was a lot of that where people were so afraid, but not even really realizing it, and then doing things that were out of character for them.
- 42:41SPEAKER_02: And I think for me too, like I resonate with so much of what you're saying because I was just it kind of just like forced me to like take a step back and observe versus like reacting to the situation because I know I could feel that there was a huge shift happening and things were gonna start accelerating and changing really quickly.
- 43:00SPEAKER_02: So I didn't want to like make any decisions about anything because I was just like, hold on, some shit is going down here.
- 43:08SPEAKER_02: And I'm just gonna like sit back and observe.
- 43:11SPEAKER_02: But I also think too, it really forced so many people, whether they're on a path of awakening or not, to reevaluate what the hell am I doing with my life?
- 43:23SPEAKER_00: 100%.
- 43:24SPEAKER_00: And we all kind of needed that a little bit of a pause to be like, whoa, is this a relationship I want to be in?
- 43:30SPEAKER_00: Because we were at home with our families and with our partners.
- 43:33SPEAKER_00: Like, yes, is this actually a relationship I want to be in?
- 43:36SPEAKER_00: Is this how I want to talk to my husband or wife or partner?
- 43:39SPEAKER_00: Is this a job that I want to be at?
- 43:41SPEAKER_00: Now that I'm kind of really faced with this, is this how I want to live?
- 43:45SPEAKER_00: Or is this like friendships I want to be in?
- 43:48SPEAKER_00: Is this how I want to be experienced in the world?
- 43:50SPEAKER_00: And it really gave us that opportunity, as you know, tragic as it was.
- 43:54SPEAKER_00: But it's beautiful that we're able to always sort of find the silver lining with things.
- 43:58SPEAKER_00: And I think that's part of.
- 44:00SPEAKER_00: Our power is always looking at it from that perspective of like, okay, what is this giving me?
- 44:04SPEAKER_00: What is this showing for me?
- 44:05SPEAKER_00: How is this serving me and my highest expression and good rather than being something that's completely taking from me and ruining my life?
- 44:13SPEAKER_00: Like always coming at it from that perspective if you can, if it's truthful for you, so that you can really make the most of some of the hardest times because those are really the most character building, the most personality building, the most um strength and confidence building.
- 44:27SPEAKER_02: Oh, totally.
- 44:28SPEAKER_02: And I think that everyone who took that as an opportunity, you know, I think there were two groups of people, so to speak, not to make it divisive, but I think there was people that were like holding on to the past and wanting things to like just stay the way they are and go back to normal, so to speak.
- 44:45SPEAKER_02: And then there was like people like what you're saying, embracing, okay, this is shifting.
- 44:50SPEAKER_02: How can I take this experience and create something new for myself and like step into this expansion that obviously wants to happen?
- 44:59SPEAKER_02: So it's like, how can I like harness and utilize these energies to my benefit?
- 45:05SPEAKER_02: And I think the people who did that became successful in the sense of like growth, in the sense of like stepping into a new version of themselves.
- 45:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it was like a little cocoon for a lot of people.
- 45:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know, and it was funny, it was interesting too, because even some people like got really in shape or lost a lot of weight or put on weight, or like, you know, kind of it's like people had the extremes of like using it as an opportunity for like a cocoon moment to butterfly or really allowing it to sort of take them over.
- 45:35SPEAKER_00: And, you know, each is fine, each is totally good.
- 45:38SPEAKER_00: And I'm not saying that I was like totally thriving the entire time.
- 45:41SPEAKER_00: It was very wild, but I think I'm really proud of the ways in which I kind of have faced all the obstacles that came up during that time and was able to figure out like an even better way of being than I had before.
- 45:55SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and I also think it was a huge awakening for so many people.
- 45:59SPEAKER_02: Huge.
- 46:00SPEAKER_02: I mean, it's still everyone's awakening, but I just feel like it kind of propelled people.
- 46:05SPEAKER_02: You know, I think the biggest thing, and I know this really has to do with also stepping in stage of Aquarius, is like the self-sovereignty and realizing that there is no outer authority other than you, and you have agency over your life.
- 46:19SPEAKER_02: And I think that's one of like the biggest lessons that we all are being called to learn right now.
- 46:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's huge.
- 46:26SPEAKER_00: You know, one of my favorite texts is called Law of One, and and there's five different books within it, but it's a channeled text, and in the book, they channel this consciousness called Ra.
- 46:37SPEAKER_00: And it's like the Ra that we know from history.
- 46:39SPEAKER_00: And Ra answers one of the questions because the questioner asks, you know, talking about slavery and mental slavery.
- 46:45SPEAKER_00: And Ra's like, if you guys even knew in what ways you guys were slaves, like you guys are enslaved in innumerable ways.
- 46:51SPEAKER_00: You know, if we think about it with media, with cars, with energy, with electricity, like all the ways we're slaves.
- 46:57SPEAKER_00: And I just never forgot that because it's so true.
- 47:00SPEAKER_00: Like, and in this awakening process, we're going to be awakening to so many ways and so many different things.
- 47:05SPEAKER_00: And it's going to be really shocking and it's going to be challenging and it's going to be hard.
- 47:10SPEAKER_00: But really, for us to have the most freedom and sovereignty, it's going to take these types of awakenings to lead us to that point where we're able to just feel and be more free because freedom is really, you know, our birthright.
- 47:22SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 47:23SPEAKER_02: And it's also just so much of realizing that a lot of the enslavement is just totally in our mind and the programming and the way that we're thinking.
- 47:33SPEAKER_02: And I think that's something that is missing for people because like we're so programmed to feel like, well, if we can't see something, then it doesn't exist, and not really realizing that so much of it is just like the way we've been programmed to perceive reality and realizing that that's just completely wrong.
- 47:51SPEAKER_02: So I know we're coming up against time, although I feel like we could probably talk about this for a lot, I know, forever.
- 47:58SPEAKER_02: Can you just share?
- 47:59SPEAKER_02: I know you have some exciting things going on right now.
- 48:01SPEAKER_02: So I'd love for you to share about that and then just also how people can find you.

- 48:57SPEAKER_00: Awesome.

- 49:05SPEAKER_02: Awesome.
- 49:06SPEAKER_02: Thank you so much.
- 49:07SPEAKER_02: Okay, so for our last question for you, what is a non-negotiable when it comes to fully reclaiming your consciousness?
- 49:14SPEAKER_00: A non-negotiable for me and fully reclaiming my consciousness is I think my freedom is like, you know, that chase and quest for freedom and freedom as like my core foundational experience in life.
- 49:28SPEAKER_00: So it's like, in order to for me to reclaim my deepest alignment and my most consciousness, I need to have freedom in as many areas of my life as I can.
- 49:36SPEAKER_00: And I think that's what I really aim to have, whether it's financial freedom or body freedom or time freedom, just really seeking that freedom because with that, I can have the space and clarity to reclaim that those parts of my consciousness that maybe I lost along the way.
- 49:53SPEAKER_02: I love that so much.
- 49:54SPEAKER_02: I really truly believe that all of us who came here to assist with the evolution of humanity are encoded with that freedom, like freedom seeking or like that need for freedom, because we like need that in order to create this shift.
- 50:11SPEAKER_02: Because if we didn't have that drive for freedom, we wouldn't be able to like see through what was really going on and be able to really create that shift.
- 50:20SPEAKER_02: So I totally feel that and I love that so much.
- 50:24SPEAKER_02: Freedom forever.
- 50:26SPEAKER_02: Yes, I love it.
- 50:27SPEAKER_02: Well, thank you so much for being here.
