- 0:00Speaker 1: As far as the Republicans. Look, the Republicans talk about it.
- 0:03Speaker 1: It's not put on, but they've got to get tougher.
- 0:06Speaker 2: They've got to talk, and they've got to talk about
- 0:07Speaker 2: how well we're doing.
- 0:09Speaker 1: I watched Laura before and she was saying, this is
- 0:11Speaker 1: the most increasing She's giving me the numbers, the financial
- 0:13Speaker 1: numbers of the trade numbers that just came out today.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Our trade deficit is way down.
- 0:18Speaker 1: There's never been anything, It's never gone down in history
- 0:21Speaker 1: like it has during this a little bit more than
- 0:23Speaker 1: a year.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Think of that. And she was going over dispoint after point,
- 0:27Speaker 2: I'm saying, how many people report this? People don't know.
- 0:30Speaker 3: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben First.
- 0:33Speaker 4: Good Wednesday morning. It is nice to have you with
- 0:35Speaker 4: us on the forty seven Morning Update. And if there's
- 0:38Speaker 4: one thing last science elections have showed us, it is
- 0:41Speaker 4: that socialism, communism, Marxism is alive and well within the
- 0:46Speaker 4: Democratic Party, abdil El said versus Hailey Stevens is a
- 0:51Speaker 4: prime example. Just how many votes didn't go to the
- 0:55Speaker 4: establishment Democrat but went to the radical Marxist who wants
- 0:59Speaker 4: to this country. We break down election night for you
- 1:03Speaker 4: and what this means going into the midterms. But before
- 1:07Speaker 4: we get to that, it feels like our country finally
- 1:09Speaker 4: has momentum again. But the left they're doing everything they
- 1:13Speaker 4: can to stop the America First policy.
- 1:16Speaker 5: And we've seen this before.
- 1:18Speaker 4: Conservatives get power, then we get comfortable, and then the
- 1:21Speaker 4: left starts taking background inch by inch, and many would
- 1:25Speaker 4: say that's what's happening right now, and we cannot let
- 1:27Speaker 4: it happen going into these midterms. America needs every one
- 1:31Speaker 4: of us in the fight, and a big part of
- 1:33Speaker 4: that means supporting companies that actually stand for our values
- 1:37Speaker 4: instead of fighting against them. Now, that's why I'm proud
- 1:39Speaker 4: to partner with Patriot Mobile and why I'm proud to

- 2:29Speaker 4: our rights and defending the rights of unborn babies as well.

- 2:59Speaker 4: every call you make to day. It's forty seven Morning
- 3:01Speaker 4: update and it starts right now.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Story number one.
- 3:05Speaker 5: The Michigan Primary.
- 3:06Speaker 4: It just changed the Democratic Party maybe forever. If you
- 3:10Speaker 4: needed any more proof that the Democratic Party is moving
- 3:14Speaker 4: dramatically to the left, I'm talking about communist, socialist, Marxist left. Well,
- 3:19Speaker 4: you don't have to look at New York anymore, because
- 3:22Speaker 4: last night all you had.
- 3:23Speaker 5: To do was look at the results in Michigan.
- 3:26Speaker 4: It's one of the most important Senate primaries in America,
- 3:30Speaker 4: and in it sent a message that will reverberate across
- 3:33Speaker 4: the country. And what many Democrats themselves described as a
- 3:37Speaker 4: battle for the soul of their party, Well that soul
- 3:41Speaker 4: has died and it's been replaced by the Marxists.
- 3:45Speaker 5: Now this isn't just another primary.
- 3:48Speaker 4: This was the progressive winging delivering a knockout punch to
- 3:52Speaker 4: the Democratic establishment that came in not just in one
- 3:57Speaker 4: state of Michigan, the entire countries establishment of the Democratic Party.
- 4:02Speaker 4: And the candidate that was backed by Bernie Sanders, the
- 4:05Speaker 4: candidate that was endorsed by AOC, the candidate who campaigned
- 4:09Speaker 4: on Medicare for all, that's socialized medicine, the candidate who
- 4:13Speaker 4: had been one of the loudest critics of America's relationship
- 4:17Speaker 4: with Israel, yes anti Semitic, and the candidate who built
- 4:21Speaker 4: the campaign around taking on what he called the Democratic establishment.
- 4:26Speaker 5: Now I want you to think about what that says.
- 4:29Speaker 4: Michigan, to be clear, is not San Francisco, Michigan, is
- 4:34Speaker 4: not Portland, Michigan isn't even Manhattan. Michigan is one of
- 4:39Speaker 4: the most important swing states in America. Donald Trump, by
- 4:44Speaker 4: the way, has won Michigan, to put it in perspective,
- 4:47Speaker 4: and Republicans have repeated he competed their time and time again. Now,
- 4:52Speaker 4: for decades, Democrats argued that to win in Michigan they
- 4:56Speaker 4: would need a moderate candidate who could appeal to the
- 4:59Speaker 4: union workers, and then to the suburban voters, and then
- 5:03Speaker 4: to the independence and then to the Reagan Democrats. Now
- 5:08Speaker 4: that should obviously concern anyone wondering where today's Democratic Party
- 5:13Speaker 4: is actually headed. Hailey Stevens wasn't some fringe candidate. She
- 5:18Speaker 4: was a sitting member of Congress with a real track record.
- 5:21Speaker 4: She had establishment support from top to bottom. An outside
- 5:26Speaker 4: group spent enormous sums trying to help her campaign. Yet
- 5:29Speaker 4: Democratic primary voters said, no, thinks. And that tells you
- 5:34Speaker 4: something much much bigger than this being just one Senate race.
- 5:38Speaker 4: It tells you who is winning the argument inside the
- 5:41Speaker 4: Democratic Party. Now, for years, we've heard Democrats insist they
- 5:45Speaker 4: were pushing back against the far left while actually promoting them.
- 5:49Speaker 4: We've been told that the Bernie Sanders wing wasn't really
- 5:52Speaker 4: in charge. Well, that is a lie. And we also
- 5:56Speaker 4: have been told that AOC represents quote only a tiny
- 5:59Speaker 4: slice of the party. Who said that, literally the leadership
- 6:03Speaker 4: of the Democratic Party that now is also a lie.
- 6:07Speaker 5: Who's really in charge? It is not the establishment.
- 6:11Speaker 4: Democratic voters had a choice between a traditional Democrat and
- 6:15Speaker 4: a progressive insurgent. Now the question is what comes next,
- 6:20Speaker 4: because this race isn't just about Michigan. This about every
- 6:23Speaker 4: Democratic politician who watched the results come in. We're talking
- 6:27Speaker 4: about governors, We're talking about members of Congress. We're also
- 6:30Speaker 4: talking about potential presidential candidates. Everyone is taking notes on
- 6:35Speaker 4: what they just witness and the lessons. Well, even the
- 6:38Speaker 4: Democratic establishment are in shock now. Someone who used to
- 6:42Speaker 4: be the most extreme of the party, a guy by
- 6:45Speaker 4: the name of Van Jones.
- 6:46Speaker 5: I know him well.
- 6:47Speaker 4: We worked together for seven plus years debating one another
- 6:50Speaker 4: at CNN. In fact, we still debate each other from
- 6:52Speaker 4: time to time. And he was on set at CNN
- 6:56Speaker 4: and I want you to hear what he had to
- 6:57Speaker 4: say about l Sied and the Steve facing off in
- 7:01Speaker 4: this race and what this means for the Democratic Party
- 7:04Speaker 4: moving forward.
- 7:05Speaker 5: Okay, Van Jones, what are the stakes here for Democrats?
- 7:08Speaker 6: Look, this is the whole ball of wax. I'm from Jackson, Tennessee.
- 7:14Speaker 6: There was a guy named gil Scott Heron who had
- 7:17Speaker 6: a great poem. It was called, the Revolution will not
- 7:19Speaker 6: be televised. Gil Scott hearing is wrong. The revolution is
- 7:24Speaker 6: being televised and podcasts and streamed and elected tonight.
- 7:30Speaker 5: Why is that. It's because there is.
- 7:33Speaker 6: A credibility gap that's opened up between the Democratic Party
- 7:37Speaker 6: establishment and this insurgency. People are looking at people and
- 7:41Speaker 6: they're saying, you've been telling us the same thing for
- 7:43Speaker 6: a long time, and our lives are not even better.
- 7:44Speaker 2: We got Donald Trump twice.
- 7:46Speaker 6: There's also an innovation gap. Why can you spend sixty
- 7:51Speaker 6: million dollars and get what like this? Because the old
- 7:55Speaker 6: model was you get the donors to get the consultant
- 8:00Speaker 6: to buy a bunch of ads, and you win. That's
- 8:02Speaker 6: how you get attention. This movement says, I don't need donors, ads,
- 8:06Speaker 6: I don't need consultants. I'm going right to the people
- 8:08Speaker 6: with TikTok and grassroots and they've disintermediated the entire donor class,
- 8:13Speaker 6: mediated the entire consulting class. And this is a revolution
- 8:17Speaker 6: and so this is going to happen again and again.
- 8:20Speaker 6: The Democratic Party is now Blockbuster. These kids are Netflix.
- 8:24Speaker 6: We are selling CDs out the trunk. This is a
- 8:27Speaker 6: napster becoming Spotify, and it's happening to night.
- 8:30Speaker 5: So there it is. The revolution is being televised.
- 8:33Speaker 4: The Democratic Party is Blockbuster, these kids are Netflix. Yeah,
- 8:38Speaker 4: he's now saying, get ready because the Democratic Party it
- 8:42Speaker 4: is dead. It is now the socialist, Communist Marxist candidates
- 8:47Speaker 4: who are the ones in charge. Abdul Al said, well,
- 8:50Speaker 4: let me just remind you what this guy had said
- 8:52Speaker 4: in his own words.
- 8:54Speaker 7: I mean, I just want you to think about this.
- 8:55Speaker 7: I do not condone at all the murder of anybody,
- 8:58Speaker 7: but I help ensure CEO got murdered in cold blood
- 9:01Speaker 7: and everybody sided with the murder. I just tells you
- 9:03Speaker 7: where people are. They are sick and tired of the system.
- 9:06Speaker 7: They hate it, and so they want it solved. And
- 9:08Speaker 7: I think we have an opportunity to actually go and
- 9:11Speaker 7: solve it for them.
- 9:12Speaker 4: That is demand sympathizing with those celebrating the murder Brian Thompson,
- 9:18Speaker 4: that health insurance ceo who got murdered in cold blood
- 9:21Speaker 4: and everybody sided with the murder. That just tells you
- 9:24Speaker 4: where people are. They're sick and tired of the system.
- 9:28Speaker 4: That's what he said, folks. Bill Lsay, the Democratic nominee,
- 9:33Speaker 4: called Chuck Schumer this, Yeah, this is the leader of
- 9:37Speaker 4: the Democratic Party.
- 9:38Speaker 6: So you have all these plans of things to do
- 9:41Speaker 6: in the Senate. Who are your biggest obstacles in the
- 9:46Speaker 6: Democratic coute?
- 9:49Speaker 7: I mean, clearly he's already presented himself the current.
- 9:52Speaker 6: Leader, Schumer.
- 9:54Speaker 7: Yeah, Like, who do you think is like the biggest
- 9:59Speaker 7: set of problems? Futterman. Futterman is probably the biggest issue.
- 10:03Speaker 7: Fetterman is the sitting counter argument to the kind of
- 10:07Speaker 7: Midwest politics that I think really can work. He's also
- 10:12Speaker 7: just an.
- 10:13Speaker 4: That is Abdul Lsay telling you that John Fetterman is
- 10:17Speaker 4: an a hole. Abdul Elsay also said he wants to
- 10:20Speaker 4: out Chuck Schumer as the leader who could take his spot.
- 10:24Speaker 4: I think there's a good chance it could be someone
- 10:26Speaker 4: by the name of AOC. But here is the Democratic
- 10:29Speaker 4: nominee talking about the leader of his party.
- 10:32Speaker 8: Well, god willing, I will be elected in a majority,
- 10:34Speaker 8: and god willing, our next majority leader will be Chris
- 10:37Speaker 8: van Holland and Senator Van Holland will lead the effort,
- 10:42Speaker 8: I believe, to past the kind of war powers resolution
- 10:45Speaker 8: that we need and to block funding for a war
- 10:48Speaker 8: that is illegal on its own terms.
- 10:51Speaker 4: This is a man who says, my party, the Democratic Party,
- 10:55Speaker 4: isn't communist enough, isn't socialist enough, isn't Marxist enough.
- 10:59Speaker 5: Now he also and so, by the way, hates this country.
- 11:02Speaker 5: How do I know this bill? I'll say?
- 11:04Speaker 4: Also said that America was actually founded, as he described it,
- 11:08Speaker 4: on racism.
- 11:10Speaker 9: For the removal of a whole people, Founded on the
- 11:14Speaker 9: idea that we could popromize on whether or not people
- 11:18Speaker 9: as a function of the color of their skin could
- 11:20Speaker 9: be enslaved to bother people. Founded under the idea that
- 11:26Speaker 9: all people are created equal, all men, but that only
- 11:29Speaker 9: meant certain men phenominally.
- 11:33Speaker 4: And if you want to know what he believes, this
- 11:36Speaker 4: is what he said to CBS about the Democratic Socialist Party.
- 11:41Speaker 10: Not remember the Democratic Socials of America. They did not
- 11:44Speaker 10: endorse you, but we know that their ideas and members
- 11:47Speaker 10: out there in this state right now campaigning on your
- 11:50Speaker 10: behalf and of literature for you.
- 11:51Speaker 2: It's a big time, my friend.
- 11:53Speaker 5: Any concern so.
- 11:53Speaker 10: That they may be misrepresenting you. No look, asking you
- 11:56Speaker 10: is one of them.
- 11:57Speaker 7: When you figure anything, you know. It's funny, right, Democrats
- 12:01Speaker 7: are so concerned about what other people say about us,
- 12:04Speaker 7: and I think we just need to be more concerned
- 12:05Speaker 7: about what we say about the lives of Michiganders. I
- 12:08Speaker 7: won't to get money out of politics. Put money in
- 12:09Speaker 7: your pocket past medicare for all. If you want to
- 12:11Speaker 7: be part of that movement, whether you vote for Donald
- 12:13Speaker 7: Trump three times or you are DSA, come join us.
- 12:17Speaker 4: So there he is. Is he a socialist? Now they
- 12:19Speaker 4: didn't endorse him, they work for him. This is a socialist,
- 12:23Speaker 4: a socialist. It says, even if you've voted for Donald Trump,
- 12:27Speaker 4: join me. I'll give you more free stuff. This is
- 12:32Speaker 4: the Democratic Socialist, Communist Marxist Party, and it's very clear
- 12:37Speaker 4: right now they are in charge of the Democratic Party,
- 12:41Speaker 4: whether the establishment likes it or not.
