- 0:01Speaker 1: This is The Mark Simone Show on 710WOR.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Well, it's almost Friday. It's Thursday, and we've got a
- 0:12Speaker 2: lot to get to today. Hey, it's five days until fall.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Five days until fall. Autumn just about here. Lots to
- 0:21Speaker 2: get to. AI, we'll get to the Fed, we'll get
- 0:24Speaker 2: to Iran, we'll get to Crazy Mom Donnie. We'll get
- 0:27Speaker 2: to Ed Sheeran and Nutty McLemore, Crazy Kathy Hochul, and
- 0:32Speaker 2: a whole lot more coming up. If you're a Democrat, wait,
- 0:36Speaker 2: hang on. If you're a Democrat, cover your ears for
- 0:40Speaker 2: a minute. You're not going to like this. Stock futures
- 0:44Speaker 2: way up, showing a big, big upswing in the market today.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Oil prices down, dropping, almost $ 3 a barrel. All right,
- 0:54Speaker 2: if you're a Democrat, you can uncover your ears. Yeah, well, Iran,
- 1:00Speaker 2: the oil situation will straighten itself out slowly but surely.
- 1:05Speaker 2: The price of oil spiked up even more when that
- 1:07Speaker 2: pipeline was blown up. It takes about two weeks to
- 1:10Speaker 2: fix a pipeline, which means it's about a week away
- 1:13Speaker 2: from being restored. And they are moving oil. You know,
- 1:17Speaker 2: the other situation was the Houthis screwing up the port
- 1:21Speaker 2: in the Red Sea. even with the Strait of Hormuz out,
- 1:25Speaker 2: even with the Red Sea port out, you can still
- 1:28Speaker 2: move the oil. It has to go a little further.
- 1:30Speaker 2: They have to move it out through the Suez Canal.
- 1:32Speaker 2: And you can't use the large tankers in the Suez Canal.
- 1:35Speaker 2: You've got to use the smaller ships. But they'll still
- 1:37Speaker 2: get the oil out, and the pipeline will be back
- 1:40Speaker 2: in action probably next week. And then they'll have swarms
- 1:43Speaker 2: of drones protecting the pipeline. Also, the other reason oil
- 1:48Speaker 2: is coming down, big problem with diesel fuel, And that
- 1:53Speaker 2: was the situation, not so much created by Iran, but
- 1:55Speaker 2: by Ukraine. And Ukraine has gotten really aggressive with Russia,
- 2:00Speaker 2: bombing everything in Russia, bombing oil facilities. And they hit
- 2:03Speaker 2: some diesel facilities, knocking out a lot of diesel fuel.
- 2:07Speaker 2: And that drove the price up all over the world.
- 2:10Speaker 2: So apparently President Trump's been on the phone with Zelensky
- 2:14Speaker 2: and Putin. And they've all made an agreement not to
- 2:17Speaker 2: hit any diesel facilities anywhere. not to knock out any
- 2:22Speaker 2: diesel fuel. Everybody's agreed to that. So you're seeing oil
- 2:26Speaker 2: come down. You're seeing the stock market futures showing a
- 2:29Speaker 2: surge will happen when the market opens. So that's good news.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Fed rate hike yesterday. The market pretty happy with that.
- 2:39Speaker 2: The president always going after that Fed board. It's the
- 2:43Speaker 2: leftover Jerome Powell board of Fed governors, and they're all terrible.
- 2:49Speaker 2: One by one, they'll get them all out. But the
- 2:51Speaker 2: president praising Kevin Warsh. Not mad at him for this.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Crazy Mom Donnie. Hey, just a reminder. Next week is
- 2:59Speaker 2: UN General Assembly week. It's actually on now. But next
- 3:02Speaker 2: week is where all the world leaders come in. It
- 3:05Speaker 2: will be an absolute gridlock traffic nightmare in Manhattan next week.
- 3:11Speaker 2: You're not going to want to come into the city,
- 3:12Speaker 2: at least not drive in next week. It's going to
- 3:15Speaker 2: be a mess. Netanyahu will be here. You remember Mamdani
- 3:19Speaker 2: campaign promise. I would arrest Netanyahu even early in his
- 3:25Speaker 2: term saying he will arrest Netanyahu when he comes here.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Now he has absolutely no authority, none to go after Netanyahu.
- 3:34Speaker 2: He can't do it. Netanyahu is not a criminal. I
- 3:37Speaker 2: know there's a crazy little, what is that court? The
- 3:40Speaker 2: war court, international criminal court in the Hague. It's not
- 3:44Speaker 2: even a real court. It's just, some idiotic court a
- 3:47Speaker 2: bunch of people created. Nobody recognizes it except two crazy dictators.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Around the world.
- 3:54Speaker 2: But it's not recognized by the United States. That court
- 3:57Speaker 2: has no authority, not a legitimate court. Whatever charge they
- 4:01Speaker 2: have against him is absolutely useless. And President Trump has
- 4:06Speaker 2: assured Netanyahu he will not be arrested. Federal agents and
- 4:10Speaker 2: troops will protect him the entire time he's here. Mamdani
- 4:14Speaker 2: pretty much admitting He can't arrest Netanyahu.
- 4:17Speaker 4: We are talking about someone who has been charged with
- 4:20Speaker 4: crimes against humanity.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Well, wait a minute.
- 4:23Speaker 3: No, he hasn't.
- 4:24Speaker 2: That crazy fake made-up court doesn't count.
- 4:28Speaker 4: Has visited the city on many an occasion and who
- 4:30Speaker 4: has been welcomed by previous mayors. And I want to
- 4:32Speaker 4: make it very clear that that welcome ends with me.
- 4:35Speaker 4: I will not be welcoming Benjamin Netanyahu or any other
- 4:37Speaker 4: war criminals when they come to this city. And I
- 4:40Speaker 4: do believe that our federal government should join the International
- 4:43Speaker 4: Criminal Court and ensure that there is accountability when it
- 4:46Speaker 4: comes to crimes against humanity.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's not a real court. It's a bunch
- 4:49Speaker 2: of left-wing kooks. Nobody's going to join it. Netanyahu is
- 4:53Speaker 2: not a war criminal. There are actual war criminals, those
- 4:56Speaker 2: that were behind the October 7th Holocaust, the raping and
- 5:01Speaker 2: slaughtering of babies and innocent people. If any of them
- 5:05Speaker 2: come here, of course, Mamdani will have them for dinner
- 5:08Speaker 2: at Gracie Mansion. So the reason he hates Netanyahu so much, A,
- 5:13Speaker 2: he's Jewish, and B, he's the head of America's greatest ally.
- 5:17Speaker 2: So that's two things. Mamdani can't stand. Now, these left-wing
- 5:23Speaker 2: kooks are all up in arms because, you know, the
- 5:26Speaker 2: Smithsonian Institute and a number of museums have just gone
- 5:31Speaker 2: so far to the left that they're just turning their
- 5:36Speaker 2: museums into ridiculous showcases of nonsense and And they're eliminating
- 5:41Speaker 2: all the American history out of them. The Smithsonian Institute.
- 5:45Speaker 2: That's the whole purpose. American history. They're eliminating most of it.
- 5:49Speaker 2: And if you walk up to the Smithsonian from the street,
- 5:51Speaker 2: what is in front of it? This enormous sculpture. Nobody
- 5:56Speaker 2: knows what the hell it is. It's a ridiculous looking sculpture.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Modern art.
- 6:01Speaker 3: It's by Rivera.
- 6:02Speaker 2: It's supposed to be an incredible cutting edge work of
- 6:05Speaker 2: modern art.
- 6:05Speaker 3: Well, great.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Send it to the Museum of Modern Art right over there.
- 6:10Speaker 2: down the block. Put it over there. It does not
- 6:13Speaker 2: belong in the Smithsonian. It's totally inappropriate. Mostly the Smithsonian
- 6:18Speaker 2: are kids and other people coming to learn about American history.
- 6:23Speaker 2: You don't need to visit starting with them stopping and going,
- 6:26Speaker 2: what the hell is that thing? It looks like some weird,
- 6:30Speaker 2: it's like a weather vane of curly, swirly stuff on top.
- 6:35Speaker 2: So President Trump wants that thing gone. Get that out
- 6:38Speaker 2: of there. Send it to a real, you know, modern
- 6:41Speaker 2: art museum. Let them display it. And he wants, this
- 6:45Speaker 2: is what's upsetting the kooks on the left. They're very
- 6:49Speaker 2: upset about this. He wants a statue of George Washington,
- 6:55Speaker 2: big statue of George Washington, right in front of the Smithsonian.
- 6:59Speaker 2: They are up in arms. Everybody will be attacking him.
- 7:02Speaker 2: The New York Times already going after him. the president's
- 7:06Speaker 2: latest attack on the museum. It's not an attack. He
- 7:09Speaker 2: wants you to put up a statue of George Washington.
- 7:12Speaker 2: I would think if I was starting a museum of
- 7:14Speaker 2: American history, I would think the first thing I would
- 7:17Speaker 2: put up is a statue of George Washington. What would
- 7:21Speaker 2: be the more obvious thing to put up? He also
- 7:24Speaker 2: suggests they have an exhibition about Washington's legacy. You know
- 7:29Speaker 2: where the museum is? It's in a city called Washington.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Because of George Washington. That's why it's Washington, D.C. So
- 7:38Speaker 2: put up a statue of the guy. The proposed statue
- 7:41Speaker 2: would replace that modern abstract piece of junk called Infinity
- 7:47Speaker 2: by Jose de Rivera. The Smithsonian describes the work as
- 7:52Speaker 2: the first piece of modern art commissioned by the federal government. Well,
- 7:57Speaker 2: nothing wrong with modern art, but we don't want the
- 7:58Speaker 2: federal government picking it, purchasing it, because they don't know
- 8:02Speaker 2: what the hell they're doing when it comes to art.
- 8:06Speaker 2: as President Trump points out, that strange modern sculpture tells
- 8:10Speaker 2: visitors nothing about America, inspires no one, honors none of
- 8:15Speaker 2: our great American heroes. George Washington does. So he's right, actually.
- 8:19Speaker 2: It makes more sense. Smithsonian, put up a statue of
- 8:22Speaker 2: George Washington. You know, he just got rid of the
- 8:25Speaker 2: head of the Smithsonian, this left-wing kook of a guy who, uh,
- 8:30Speaker 2: This guy is the one that wanted to put up
- 8:32Speaker 2: a George Floyd statue instead in front of the museum.
- 8:36Speaker 2: It has nothing to do with the purpose of the Smithsonian. So, hey, Mamdani,
- 8:42Speaker 2: besides the UN, has a big new project. This one
- 8:48Speaker 2: he may actually get done. Every time he proposes something,
- 8:51Speaker 2: free buses, free daycare, whatever he comes up with, supermarkets,
- 8:56Speaker 2: never happens. never, ever actually happens. He never gets anything done.
- 9:01Speaker 2: This one he will get done. This is a major,
- 9:05Speaker 2: major effort for him. He thinks this is very important.
- 9:09Speaker 2: He's putting toilets all over New York, public toilets. He said,
- 9:14Speaker 2: we don't have enough public toilets. Do we have any
- 9:19Speaker 2: public toilets? Where's there a public toilet? I think there's
- 9:22Speaker 2: one or two subway stations that actually still have a
- 9:27Speaker 2: public restroom in them you'd have to be pretty brave
- 9:31Speaker 2: to go into a subway restroom but apparently there's still
- 9:35Speaker 2: a few so he wants to put these all over
- 9:36Speaker 2: the place each toilet i shouldn't say it's not just
- 9:41Speaker 2: a toilet it's like a fancy outhouse a fancy one
- 9:45Speaker 2: each one is 235 000 he's already bought 17 of
- 9:51Speaker 2: them they're very high-tech. This is part of a $ 4
- 9:54Speaker 2: million plan. He eventually wants to add 1,100 of these,
- 10:01Speaker 2: 235,000 for each one, made by a company called Throne Labs.
- 10:09Speaker 2: It's a modular toilet company that submitted the winning proposal.
- 10:14Speaker 2: The toilets are ADA accessible, some complete with running water,
- 10:19Speaker 2: climate control, and baby changing tables. They'll be open for
- 10:24Speaker 2: use 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. So if you've got
- 10:28Speaker 2: to go to the bathroom at 6.45, forget it. You're
- 10:31Speaker 2: out of luck. You're not doing it. 10.15 at night?
- 10:33Speaker 2: I'm sorry. Can't do it. Now, to open them, you
- 10:37Speaker 2: need an app on your phone, or you can have
- 10:42Speaker 2: a card. There's a QR code. You'll need an app
- 10:45Speaker 2: on your phone. Who's going to carry that card around?
- 10:49Speaker 2: This is my toilet card here. But you'll have to
- 10:53Speaker 2: have this app on your phone. Of course, it's the
- 10:54Speaker 2: city of New York, which means they'll drain every piece
- 10:57Speaker 2: of info and data out of your phone at the
- 10:59Speaker 2: same time. As will the Throne Bathroom Network. That's embarrassing
- 11:05Speaker 2: to have that on your phone. The Throne Bathroom Network app.
- 11:10Speaker 2: The app will give New Yorkers real-time cleanliness ratings. So
- 11:15Speaker 2: it's like kind of a Yelp-y kind of thing. You're
- 11:17Speaker 2: going to have a rating on each restroom. Those without
- 11:20Speaker 2: a smartphone can get the card. Now, here's the thing.
- 11:24Speaker 2: There's a 10-minute time limit. You have a 10-minute time
- 11:29Speaker 2: limit to use this toilet. And you get warnings. You
- 11:33Speaker 2: get a five-minute warning.
- 11:36Speaker 3: Listen to this.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Your use time has expired.
- 11:39Speaker 4: The door is opening now.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Yeah, if you're there past the 10 minutes and your
- 11:43Speaker 2: time expires, the door will open. So if you're sitting
- 11:46Speaker 2: there on the toilet, And it's 10 minutes and 2 seconds.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Your use time has expired.
- 11:51Speaker 4: The door is opening now.
- 11:56Speaker 3: That's the city.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Now, I guess they have to have it automatically open
- 12:01Speaker 2: because what if a bunch of homeless people go in
- 12:03Speaker 2: there and lock it? What if somebody has a medical
- 12:06Speaker 2: emergency in there and you need to get in? But
- 12:08Speaker 2: Mamdani is so powerful. proud of himself on this.
- 12:12Speaker 4: Today we are putting the sewage back in sewer socialism
- 12:15Speaker 4: and we're doing so because we believe that there's no
- 12:18Speaker 4: problem too big and no task too small for city
- 12:21Speaker 4: hall to help you with.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Well it's a big help i think most people most
- 12:26Speaker 2: people know how to find a bathroom somewhere you know
- 12:29Speaker 2: you can sneak into a restaurant a hotel uh and
- 12:32Speaker 2: use the bath but uh It's the one thing he
- 12:35Speaker 2: will actually do. You'll actually see them. I don't know
- 12:37Speaker 2: where you're going to see them. Actually, I think there's
- 12:39Speaker 2: a Times Square one. There's a Union Square one. They're
- 12:43Speaker 2: kind of ugly. I mean, they're very modern looking, but
- 12:46Speaker 2: kind of eyesores. And you'll start to see them around
- 12:49Speaker 2: the city. Donald Trump's childhood home sells for $ 2 million.
- 12:54Speaker 2: $ 500, 000 renovation. It was actually going for $ 2. 3 million. A
- 13:00Speaker 2: little price cut. It's actually... his there were two childhood
- 13:05Speaker 2: homes this one he only lived in until he was
- 13:09Speaker 2: four years old this is the smaller house it was
- 13:13Speaker 2: actually built by fred trump his father back in the
- 13:17Speaker 2: 1940s fred trump built it for himself so you know
- 13:19Speaker 2: it's well built and uh it's a little house it's
- 13:23Speaker 2: a little uh remember where tessio lived and or clemenza
- 13:26Speaker 2: lived and the godfather looks exactly like that house uh
- 13:31Speaker 2: it's uh It's got four bedrooms, made of brick and stucco. Now, again,
- 13:37Speaker 2: the president only lived there until he was four. And
- 13:40Speaker 2: then they moved to a bigger house, much bigger house
- 13:43Speaker 2: in Jamaica Estates. So if Trump was four when they moved,
- 13:47Speaker 2: I have a feeling he has very little memory of
- 13:50Speaker 2: that house. But from four years old to he grew up,
- 13:56Speaker 2: he lived in the bigger house in Jamaica Estates. That
- 13:58Speaker 2: one I'm sure he remembers well. So somebody is living
- 14:01Speaker 2: in this Donald Trump childhood home and paid $ 2 million
- 14:05Speaker 2: for us. For all the homes in that neighborhood, it's
- 14:08Speaker 2: one of the nicer looking ones. Very, very, very nice
- 14:10Speaker 2: looking one. So Republicans, without the message, they need some
- 14:14Speaker 2: kind of message. I mean, they have a message. They
- 14:18Speaker 2: just haven't focused it to anything that people are hearing.
- 14:21Speaker 2: They should have done this before the big Republican midterm convention.
- 14:26Speaker 2: A lot of people now suggesting it should be about
- 14:28Speaker 2: gas prices. They're high right now. They're spiking because of
- 14:31Speaker 2: the Iran situation. But the message should be, for Trump,
- 14:37Speaker 2: this is a spike. For Democrats, this is their baseline.
- 14:40Speaker 2: This is where they start. So that should be something
- 14:43Speaker 2: to do with the message. You know, if you don't
- 14:45Speaker 2: like the price of gas now, the last thing you
- 14:47Speaker 2: want is Democrats. It'll get worse under them because they'll
- 14:50Speaker 2: shut down refineries. They'll shut down factories. oil wells, they'll
- 14:55Speaker 2: shut down drilling as they did before, as they do
- 14:58Speaker 2: every time they get in office.
- 14:59Speaker 3: And then you'll see a real spike.
- 15:01Speaker 2: You know, one reason prices go up like this is
- 15:05Speaker 2: we don't have enough refinery space. The same thing with
- 15:07Speaker 2: the diesel fuel. We have, President Trump has opened up
- 15:11Speaker 2: drilling everywhere, but we don't have enough refineries to, we
- 15:15Speaker 2: can produce all the oil we want. We're producing so
- 15:19Speaker 2: much oil, we could never use it all, but we
- 15:20Speaker 2: don't have enough refineries to turn it into gasoline so
- 15:24Speaker 2: that's part of the problem we'll get to uh this
- 15:27Speaker 2: crazy mclemore this anti-semitic horrible guy uh this is the
- 15:33Speaker 2: kind of stuff he yells on stage to.
- 15:35Speaker 5: All of my jewish brothers and sisters criticism of israel
- 15:41Speaker 5: criticism of apartheid being against genocide.
- 15:45Speaker 1: In no way is a criticism of you.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Absolutely it's totally anti-semitic he just did it he just
- 15:51Speaker 2: called it uh Genocide. There was no genocide by Israel.
- 15:55Speaker 2: You could argue that Hamas committed genocide. I mean, they
- 15:58Speaker 2: committed a Holocaust. They were slaughtering, raping, and killing women
- 16:02Speaker 2: and babies, and it was just horrible.
- 16:04Speaker 3: Just horrible.
- 16:05Speaker 2: This guy Macklemore, he's got a history of this. He's
- 16:08Speaker 2: an awful, awful guy. Listen to this from a while back.
- 16:12Speaker 3: Yeah, America. Yeah, blank America. Yeah, America.
- 16:24Speaker 2: And listen to his fans. The nicest guy is Ed Sheeran.
- 16:28Speaker 2: One of the nicest guys in music. Ed Sheeran. He
- 16:32Speaker 2: gets himself tangled. What the hell was he doing using
- 16:35Speaker 2: Macklemore for an opening act? Probably a promoter that convinced
- 16:38Speaker 2: him to do it. But it's got him in all
- 16:41Speaker 2: kinds of trouble. He doesn't know what the hell to do.
- 16:44Speaker 2: And now he's getting boycotted. He's got AOC after him.
- 16:47Speaker 6: Hey, if Ed Sheeran comes on the radio while you're
- 16:50Speaker 6: driving along, are you changing the channels?
- 16:52Speaker 7: I am. Yeah.
- 16:55Speaker 2: He's got that Rashid Tlaib after him.
- 16:57Speaker 8: The more, you know, folks like Ed Sheeran and everybody
- 16:59Speaker 8: side with the billionaire class, with those that, again, benefit
- 17:03Speaker 8: financially and benefit personally from the status quo, you know,
- 17:07Speaker 8: shame on them. I think it turns around and comes
- 17:09Speaker 8: right back on them.
- 17:10Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 17:12Speaker 2: This anti-Semitism, it's going to come right back at you Democrats.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Keep it up. You're getting away with it now, but
- 17:18Speaker 2: it won't, it'll, it'll end up destroying you. All of
- 17:21Speaker 2: this anti-Semitism. Well, we got a lot to get to
- 17:24Speaker 2: this morning and yeah, We'll get to a lot more
- 17:27Speaker 2: coming up. We'll get to more crazy Mamdani schemes. We'll
- 17:32Speaker 2: get to King Charles. We'll get to Patrick Clancy and
- 17:35Speaker 2: a whole lot more. Mark Simone here, 9 to noon,
- 17:38Speaker 2: three hours every day, 9 to noon on 710WOR.
- 17:43Speaker 10: Mark Simone, live from the WOR LifeVac studios.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Well, hey, Patrick Clancy, you know, the husband of Lindsay Clancy.
- 17:56Speaker 2: First interview. First interview. 60 Minutes. Looks like it's going
- 18:01Speaker 2: to be this Sunday night. Big 60 Minutes interview with
- 18:05Speaker 2: Patrick Clancy. You know, he lives in New York now.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Following his testimony, he had testified in the case, he's
- 18:12Speaker 2: remained in New York. I guess he wanted to get
- 18:14Speaker 2: the hell away from Boston and that trial from Plymouth County.
- 18:18Speaker 2: And he's been seen around New York City with his
- 18:21Speaker 2: new wife, Rachel Danis. So CBS announced big exclusive sit-down
- 18:28Speaker 2: with Patrick Clancy this Sunday night with correspondent Ross Duthat. Now,
- 18:36Speaker 2: this is not like the old 60 Minutes where they'd
- 18:38Speaker 2: say Mike Wallace talks to, or Morley Safer talks to.
- 18:41Speaker 2: It's Ross Duthat, whoever that is. They released a brief
- 18:47Speaker 2: teaser clip. showing a very straight-faced-looking Patrick Clancy walking in
- 18:53Speaker 2: and sitting down under the lights before the cameras. You
- 18:58Speaker 2: can hear a voice off-screen going, we're ready, we're good,
- 19:01Speaker 2: we're rolling. Well, it sounds very dramatic, but let's see
- 19:05Speaker 2: what happens. Let's see what happens. It'll be this Sunday night.
- 19:09Speaker 2: So this is what 60 Minutes is supposed to do,
- 19:11Speaker 2: get these exclusive interviews, do exposés with the hidden camera.
- 19:17Speaker 2: do documentaries on American heroes. And then also they do always,
- 19:20Speaker 2: there was one, uh, showbiz or sports, uh, celebrity kind
- 19:24Speaker 2: of thing. So they're back to what they're back to
- 19:27Speaker 2: the original 60 minutes formula. Uh, Hey, in Michigan, you
- 19:32Speaker 2: got this race with Abdul El-Sayed, uh, who will lose,
- 19:36Speaker 2: you know, it's Michigan. It's the heartland. It's the rust belt. Uh,
- 19:40Speaker 2: Abdul El-Sayed is not going to win a little ahead
- 19:44Speaker 2: in some of the polls, but, he'll fall behind. Now,
- 19:46Speaker 2: he's got a big problem with this Hassan Piker, this
- 19:50Speaker 2: anti-Semitic left-wing kook extremist that he is closely associated with.
- 19:57Speaker 2: If reporters ask him about Hassan Piker, he gets very
- 20:00Speaker 2: angry now. But this Hassan Piker is doubling down, getting
- 20:04Speaker 2: even worse. He has said all kinds of horrible anti-Semitic things,
- 20:09Speaker 2: all kinds of crazy things. But yesterday he told Axios
- 20:14Speaker 2: that the U.S., this is exactly what he said, the U.S.
- 20:18Speaker 2: pound for pound is worse than Al-Qaeda. We are the
- 20:22Speaker 2: tremendous terrorists.
- 20:23Speaker 3: The U.S.
- 20:24Speaker 2: Is worse than Al-Qaeda. So this is the big problem
- 20:28Speaker 2: with Abdul Al-Sayed. He's going to have to defend this.
- 20:31Speaker 2: He can keep blowing up at reporters and yelling, you're
- 20:33Speaker 2: not going to talk about this guy. But He's not
- 20:37Speaker 2: going to get out of it. There's going to be debates,
- 20:39Speaker 2: and that's going to be the problem. The problem here
- 20:41Speaker 2: in New York, Kathy Hochul is refusing all the debates.
- 20:44Speaker 2: She's turning them all down. Channel 2, Channel 4, Channel 7,
- 20:49Speaker 2: Channel 5, they've all tried to get debates. Bruce Blakeman
- 20:53Speaker 2: has accepted every one of these debates. Kathy Hochul has
- 20:57Speaker 2: turned down every debate. The only one she's agreed to
- 21:01Speaker 2: is the little New York One debate. New York One's
- 21:04Speaker 2: a little... little tiny thing with very few viewers. So
- 21:08Speaker 2: why would you accept that one? Well, they're very, very,
- 21:12Speaker 2: very left-wing, very biased. You're going to get that Errol
- 21:15Speaker 2: Lewis and the other guy, I forget his name, but
- 21:19Speaker 2: these are very left-wing biased guys. So Hochul will agree
- 21:24Speaker 2: to that one. And so far, she has turned down
- 21:27Speaker 2: all the major TV stations in New York. This is
- 21:30Speaker 2: unheard of. for a gubernatorial candidate, especially an incumbent. It's
- 21:35Speaker 2: unheard of to turn them all down. So she's scared.
- 21:38Speaker 2: She's afraid to debate Blakeman. She'll only do it with very, very,
- 21:42Speaker 2: very biased left-wing anchors. And she picked a station that
- 21:46Speaker 2: has very few viewers, just in case. The other thing
- 21:49Speaker 2: is you might notice she's running and spending a lot
- 21:52Speaker 2: of money on this, running these vicious attack ads against Blakeman.
- 21:57Speaker 2: All of a sudden, she's spending a ton of money
- 21:59Speaker 2: on these. She's bombarding the airwaves. Now, what would make
- 22:02Speaker 2: her do that? Fear, tremendous fear. She wasn't doing that
- 22:07Speaker 2: until recently, which means she saw some polling that frightened her.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Blakeman had been 20 points behind, and then he was
- 22:15Speaker 2: 10 points behind. Then he was five points behind. And
- 22:19Speaker 2: then there's a lot of polls that show him pretty
- 22:21Speaker 2: much neck and neck. So it terrified Kathy Hochul. She's
- 22:24Speaker 2: got a big war chest of about $ 30 million. So
- 22:29Speaker 2: she immediately, immediately just wrote a big, massive check. She
- 22:34Speaker 2: got terrified when she saw how Blakeman was doing in
- 22:36Speaker 2: the polls. When you see them start running those attack
- 22:39Speaker 2: ads like crazy, every time you see those vicious attack
- 22:42Speaker 2: ads on Blakeman, don't get mad.
- 22:44Speaker 3: Get happy.
- 22:45Speaker 2: It means Hochul's in fear right now, really in fear.
- 22:50Speaker 2: They're trying to keep this AI hoax going, trying to
- 22:53Speaker 2: really gin this thing up. Listen, I'm sure there's a
- 22:57Speaker 2: lot of problems with AI. I'm sure it could get
- 22:58Speaker 2: out of control. But this whole thing is orchestrated. It's
- 23:02Speaker 2: all for the midterm elections. Climate change is not working
- 23:06Speaker 2: anymore as an election issue. Give them credit. They got
- 23:11Speaker 2: away with it for about 35 years. Actually, 40 years,
- 23:14Speaker 2: this climate change stuff. You're all going to die. You're
- 23:18Speaker 2: going to drown. The glacier is going to melt. We'll
- 23:22Speaker 2: all be underwater. The heat will burn you up. They've
- 23:24Speaker 2: been trying this for 40 years. It's 40 years later.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Nothing is any different.
- 23:29Speaker 3: Nothing. Nothing.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Oh, I know there was heavy rain over the weekend
- 23:33Speaker 2: and they wrote stories that we've.
- 23:34Speaker 3: Never seen rain like this. Yes, we have. Many times.
- 23:38Speaker 2: We've never had so much rain. All summer, I'm seeing
- 23:43Speaker 2: drought warnings. Drought warnings. Every time we had a lot
- 23:46Speaker 2: of rain, I'd watch the weather. Well, it did help
- 23:49Speaker 2: with the reservoirs. Still not enough. The reservoirs are still low. Yeah, check.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Reservoirs are low. We've not had a lot of rain
- 23:56Speaker 2: this year. So climate change not working. This is the
- 23:59Speaker 2: new climate change that AI is going to kill us all.
- 24:03Speaker 2: It's going to wipe us all out. Only the Democrats
- 24:06Speaker 2: can save you. This technique, by the way, has been
- 24:07Speaker 2: in use for a long time. It goes back to
- 24:10Speaker 2: the French Revolution, believe it or not, where Democrats or
- 24:14Speaker 2: the left, the left would always come up with a demon,
- 24:17Speaker 2: a boogeyman to terrify you. And only they can save
- 24:20Speaker 2: you from the boogeyman. And I remember in different elections,
- 24:23Speaker 2: it was QAnon. It was the alt-right. Remember the alt-right?
- 24:28Speaker 2: The Tea Party. You had to be afraid of it.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Only they could stop them. Only they could save you.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Remember last year was MAGA extremists. What the hell is
- 24:37Speaker 2: a MAGA extremist? These MAGA extremists. So, again, there could
- 24:42Speaker 2: be an AI people today trying to put out a
- 24:44Speaker 2: list of incidents where the AI got a little out
- 24:49Speaker 2: of control.
- 24:49Speaker 11: It.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Jail broke itself out of some system. Another one where
- 24:54Speaker 2: it created bots where it shouldn't. I mean, this is
- 24:59Speaker 2: all bad. But the cartel that controls AI, it's four companies.
- 25:02Speaker 2: You could fix this tonight if you wanted. And if
- 25:05Speaker 2: you need, we have to slow down. We have to
- 25:07Speaker 2: have guardrails. We have to slow down. It's four companies
- 25:10Speaker 2: control the whole thing.
- 25:11Speaker 3: It's a cartel.
- 25:12Speaker 2: If we need that, put it in tonight. Government regulators.
- 25:17Speaker 2: Start the slowdown tonight. Slowdown. It's four of you. You
- 25:19Speaker 2: all talk to each other. You're all arm and arm.
- 25:22Speaker 2: You need a slowdown? Slowdown. Do it tonight. Anyway, we'll
- 25:25Speaker 2: talk more about this and a lot more. We'll take
- 25:26Speaker 2: some calls. Coming up, Mark Simone here on 710WOR. Mark Simone.
- 25:33Speaker 7: Mr.
- 25:33Speaker 1: New York.
- 25:34Speaker 10: Now three hours every weekday from 9 till noon on 710WOR.
- 25:41Speaker 2: Well, we'll take some calls in a minute.
- 25:43Speaker 11: 800-321-7101.
- 25:45Speaker 2: 321-0710 is the number.
- 25:50Speaker 3: 800-321-0710.
- 25:51Speaker 2: As I mentioned, the AI hoax, it's going to be
- 25:54Speaker 2: like the climate change hoax. This is going to be big.
- 25:57Speaker 2: It's taking place every year. All the Democrats are jumping
- 25:59Speaker 2: in on it. The media is getting involved. Guess who's next?
- 26:02Speaker 2: The UN. Big UN General Assembly next week. The UN
- 26:07Speaker 2: is going to try to lead this AI hoax, this
- 26:11Speaker 2: AI fear hoax. Gutierrez, the UN Secretary General, is already
- 26:19Speaker 2: conspiring with everybody on this. So expect this to be
- 26:23Speaker 2: a big thing next week, UN General Assembly week. The UN,
- 26:27Speaker 2: the AI scare, the AI, or it's going to kill
- 26:31Speaker 2: us all. Now, one of the reasons the UN is
- 26:32Speaker 2: jumping in, and the other reason they like this hoax
- 26:36Speaker 2: is there's a lot of money to be made here.
- 26:38Speaker 2: You know, oh, we're going to need regulation. The government,
- 26:40Speaker 2: it's going to, well, that means there's going to be
- 26:41Speaker 2: fees and It's going to cost you more. The UN
- 26:45Speaker 2: would like to be the governing board of AI. They
- 26:48Speaker 2: would like to play a primary role in governing AI
- 26:53Speaker 2: because there's a lot of money in this AI. These
- 26:57Speaker 2: AI companies are making trillions. So everybody wants in on
- 27:02Speaker 2: this hoax. Let's go to Phil in Queens. Phil, how
- 27:05Speaker 2: are you doing?
- 27:07Speaker 7: Hey, Mark.
- 27:07Speaker 12: The UN also wants to sabotage Trump. I lived near
- 27:11Speaker 12: Trump's new and old house. Both of them were in
- 27:15Speaker 12: Jamaica Estates, the smaller house closer to the smaller area
- 27:21Speaker 12: of Jamaica Estates, closer to Union Turnpike. And the big
- 27:25Speaker 12: one was on Midland Boulevard, this gorgeous Georgian mansion. And
- 27:28Speaker 12: my wife actually had dinner there several times. Mary would
- 27:33Speaker 12: always order German food.
- 27:35Speaker 3: Her dad.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Mary is Trump's mother.
- 27:38Speaker 3: Yes.
- 27:39Speaker 12: Would order Venus Nitzel for him because he was German. And,
- 27:43Speaker 12: of course, Fred was German. And lovely woman. And anyway,
- 27:51Speaker 12: beautiful house. The big mansion is a Georgian mansion on
- 27:54Speaker 12: a hill.
- 27:55Speaker 3: You already said that.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Okay.
- 27:58Speaker 13: Anyway, just a small point.
- 28:00Speaker 12: I've been trying to call into this.
- 28:01Speaker 2: Go ahead. Let's get to it. Go ahead.
- 28:05Speaker 12: Yeah, they go after Trump on the draft. Trump was
- 28:08Speaker 12: actually in the 1969 draft. He had a draft number.
- 28:12Speaker 2: Well, they're always going to go after, yeah, he got
- 28:15Speaker 2: a good draft number. But they always go after him
- 28:17Speaker 2: as a draft dodger because he had, what did he have?
- 28:20Speaker 2: Bone spurs. He had bone spurs. They never go after
- 28:24Speaker 2: anybody else. Cheney ducked a draft with a million student deferments.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Nobody ducked a draft more than Joe Biden. He had
- 28:30Speaker 2: like eight student deferments. Suddenly claimed he had asthma.
- 28:35Speaker 11: Draft.
- 28:36Speaker 2: You know, Biden wrote a 600-page autobiography, mostly about his childhood.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Never mentioned this asthma. But, you know, we've had a
- 28:43Speaker 2: lot of draft dodging present. Everybody did it back then.
- 28:47Speaker 2: Bill Clinton, of course. Everybody did it back then. Let's
- 28:50Speaker 2: go to David in Queens. David, how you doing? Hey, Mark.
- 28:54Speaker 8: Good morning.
- 28:55Speaker 11: Mark, Tom Suozzi is littering Queens and Nassau County with
- 28:59Speaker 11: his signs that said his slogan is, he sees things
- 29:03Speaker 11: our way. I hope people remember Tom Suozzi did nothing
- 29:06Speaker 11: when Creedmoor was inundated with about 6,000 Third World cutthroats,
- 29:11Speaker 11: and he's done nothing with the communists.
- 29:13Speaker 13: Thank you, Mark.
- 29:14Speaker 2: Well, listen, I like Tom Suozzi. He's a good guy.
- 29:17Speaker 2: Tom Suozzi's okay. He's a common-sense Democrat. But, but, I
- 29:21Speaker 2: don't know what happens to these Democrats. They get terrified
- 29:23Speaker 2: of these woke left-wing AOCs. So, a whole life to
- 29:27Speaker 2: common-sense Democrats. Then they get so afraid of this far-left
- 29:31Speaker 2: extremist squad. So, they join in with them on stuff. But,
- 29:38Speaker 2: once they clean out the communists, the socialists, the anti-Semites,
- 29:44Speaker 2: once they clean them out of there, hopefully the Tom
- 29:47Speaker 2: Swazis of the world can go back to normal. Let's
- 29:50Speaker 2: go to Barbara in Woodside. Barbara, how you doing?
- 29:53Speaker 7: Yeah, hi.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Hey, no, hold it down.
- 29:55Speaker 9: People sleeping here.
- 29:57Speaker 14: One of those bathrooms is in Woodside. And let me
- 30:00Speaker 14: tell you, it's on 34th Avenue and 64th Street. You
- 30:03Speaker 14: know what's there? Warehouses and tiny homes. No street traffic,
- 30:07Speaker 14: no stores, no playgrounds, no reason for anybody to walk
- 30:11Speaker 14: past it. It is two blocks from the BQE overpass.
- 30:16Speaker 14: You wouldn't dare go there once it gets dark. So
- 30:19Speaker 14: why did he place it there?
- 30:22Speaker 2: You got your radio on. I can hear you. I
- 30:24Speaker 2: can hear the playback.
- 30:24Speaker 3: Listen to that.
- 30:26Speaker 15: Go ahead.
- 30:27Speaker 2: All right. Because it's the city government. They don't do
- 30:30Speaker 2: anything right. Whatever it is, they can screw it up.
- 30:33Speaker 2: That's why they're in the city government. That's why they're
- 30:35Speaker 2: not in the private sector getting two million a year.
- 30:37Speaker 14: That it's not right and nobody will tell you this
- 30:40Speaker 14: he gets away with this and and he's done so
- 30:43Speaker 14: many bad things i don't know if i was younger
- 30:46Speaker 14: i would leave but i'm not.
- 30:47Speaker 2: You're young you could leave where would you go.
- 30:49Speaker 14: That's the problem where would you go that's right florida's
- 30:54Speaker 14: way too hot you talked me into.
- 30:55Speaker 10: That one yeah so where would you go i don't
- 30:58Speaker 10: know where do you live woodside On Woodside.
- 31:01Speaker 14: Four blocks from where it is. It's there already.
- 31:04Speaker 2: So why don't you go move to Long Island? You
- 31:06Speaker 2: can go right over the border.
- 31:07Speaker 16: But you need a car.
- 31:10Speaker 14: You get older. You can't drive as much as you
- 31:12Speaker 14: used to.
- 31:13Speaker 2: So why don't you move to Boston? You don't need
- 31:16Speaker 2: a car there.
- 31:18Speaker 14: Boston?
- 31:18Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 31:19Speaker 14: No, they're crazy up in Boston. We think they're crazy here.
- 31:21Speaker 14: They're crazier there.
- 31:22Speaker 3: Yeah, that's true.
- 31:23Speaker 2: Okay.
- 31:24Speaker 3: Where else?
- 31:26Speaker 12: Help me out.
- 31:27Speaker 11: All right.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Let me think about it. Yeah, you've got to find
- 31:29Speaker 2: a place where you don't need to drive.
- 31:30Speaker 5: All right.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Well, thanks for calling. That's the other thing. You're right
- 31:32Speaker 2: about those. First of all, they're putting one of those
- 31:35Speaker 2: Mamdani toilets in Times Square. It holds one person at
- 31:39Speaker 2: a time. So what does that mean? One person at
- 31:42Speaker 2: a time.
- 31:43Speaker 3: What does that mean?
- 31:43Speaker 2: You're going to have a line of 6,000 people. for
- 31:47Speaker 2: this one toilet. Do you ever try to use the
- 31:49Speaker 2: bathroom in a Starbucks? I mean, when you're a customer,
- 31:52Speaker 2: when you're spending money, where's the bathroom?
- 31:56Speaker 3: It's over there.
- 31:57Speaker 2: There's always four people in line and whoever's in there
- 31:59Speaker 2: right now is taking 20 minutes. It's always that way.
- 32:02Speaker 2: So imagine, now the Mamdani toilet, you got a 10
- 32:05Speaker 2: minute limit. Although that's a long time, you know, 10 minutes.
- 32:09Speaker 2: The hell are you doing in there for 10 minutes?
- 32:11Speaker 2: You have a 10 minute time limit and the door
- 32:13Speaker 2: automatically opens. So, That doesn't mean you have to actually
- 32:17Speaker 2: get up and go out, actually. You could stay there
- 32:20Speaker 2: if you like, but they'll actually pull you out. But
- 32:22Speaker 2: you get warnings. You get a five-minute warning.
- 32:26Speaker 17: Your use time has expired.
- 32:28Speaker 2: The door is opening now. And then you get that.
- 32:30Speaker 2: The door is opening now. And so this is not
- 32:33Speaker 2: fair to the people in line. If they're standing there
- 32:36Speaker 2: in line and all of a sudden, and it opens
- 32:39Speaker 2: up and you got to see this homeless guy on the,
- 32:41Speaker 2: this is not good. Not good at all. But the
- 32:45Speaker 2: Mamdani toilets are coming. And Barbara has a good point.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Knowing Mamdani, Times Square is pretty obvious. Union Square is
- 32:51Speaker 2: pretty obvious. But knowing Mamdani, he'll put them in the
- 32:55Speaker 2: worst places imaginable. Anyway, it's Mark Simone here. Nine to
- 32:59Speaker 2: noon every day. Three hours every day. Nine to noon. Fall, autumn,
- 33:06Speaker 2: five days away. It's going to be nice today. A
- 33:09Speaker 2: little warmer today. Hey, don't forget at noon, we got
- 33:12Speaker 2: all the top talk show hosts in the world are here.
- 33:14Speaker 2: At noon, you got Buck Sexton, Clay Travis. Three o'clock,
- 33:20Speaker 2: the number one most listened to talk show host in America,
- 33:23Speaker 2: Sean Hannity. Six o'clock, you got Jesse Kelly. Nine o'clock,
- 33:26Speaker 2: you got the very funny Jimmy Fallon. Is today Thursday?
- 33:31Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Oh, that means he'll be with us later. Jimmy Fallon
- 33:34Speaker 2: will be with us later in the program. here on 710WOR.
- 33:38Speaker 2: Mark Simone.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Mr. New York.
- 33:41Speaker 10: Now three hours every weekday from 9 till noon on 710WOR.
- 33:48Speaker 2: Hey, well, fall, autumn officially begins in five days, but
- 33:52Speaker 2: maybe sooner. Look at this, the weather forecast. Oh, yeah,
- 33:57Speaker 2: look at this. Today, 81 will be the high. Tomorrow,
- 34:00Speaker 2: 81 will be the high. Saturday... 70.
- 34:07Speaker 3: That's it.
- 34:07Speaker 2: 70 is the high on Saturday. Sunday, high 69. Monday,
- 34:13Speaker 2: high 66. I'm looking at next week. It's mostly in
- 34:17Speaker 2: the 60s. That's the high next week. All right.
- 34:21Speaker 9: All right.
- 34:21Speaker 2: You can get those jackets out and those coats out,
- 34:24Speaker 2: those sweaters out.
- 34:25Speaker 3: It's coming.
- 34:27Speaker 2: Anyway, we've got a lot to get to in the
- 34:29Speaker 2: next hour. We'll get back to that crazy Macklemore, and
- 34:33Speaker 2: we'll get to the midterms. and a whole lot more
- 34:36Speaker 2: to take a look at. We'll get to King Charles
- 34:38Speaker 2: and the two wacky idiots, Meghan and Harry, and more,
- 34:44Speaker 2: coming up right after the news on 710WOR. It's more
- 34:49Speaker 2: of Mark, Mr.
- 34:51Speaker 1: New York, on 710WOR.
- 34:52Speaker 2: Well, we'll get to the Kennedy Center, crazy Ed Sheeran,
- 34:59Speaker 2: Mom Donnie, and more. I just upgraded my iPhone to
- 35:05Speaker 2: iOS 27 because it said a whole new experience.
- 35:11Speaker 3: iOS 27.
- 35:12Speaker 2: Let me just tell you what the new experience is.
- 35:15Speaker 2: First of all, everything looks exactly the same. The experience
- 35:17Speaker 2: is anytime you want to do anything. I open my calendar.
- 35:22Speaker 2: Let's show you what's new in calendar. Just open the calendar.
- 35:25Speaker 2: I don't care what's new in calendar. Now I try
- 35:27Speaker 2: to get my mail. Let's show you what's new in mail.
- 35:31Speaker 2: I don't want a tour of what's new in mail.
- 35:33Speaker 2: Just open the mail. So the new iPhone coming, I think,
- 35:38Speaker 2: in a week or so. Everybody has had a chance
- 35:41Speaker 2: to test. All these reviewers and experts have tested the
- 35:45Speaker 2: new stuff. Not too crazy about the foldable phone. Nobody's
- 35:48Speaker 2: too crazy about that. The new iPhone 18 Pro. Everybody raving.
- 35:54Speaker 2: It's the most incredible phone. Battery life is unbelievable. It
- 35:57Speaker 2: can go for almost two days on that battery. So
- 36:02Speaker 2: iPhone 18 Pro, that's the one to get. The foldable,
- 36:06Speaker 2: unless you got to look at big documents on your
- 36:08Speaker 2: phone where you need to see a big screen to
- 36:11Speaker 2: really see the documents, unless you do something like that
- 36:14Speaker 2: or charts or something, you really don't need the foldable.
- 36:18Speaker 2: And the camera's not as good on the foldable. So
- 36:20Speaker 2: a lot of reasons to Wait on the foldable.
- 36:24Speaker 3: Wait on that.
- 36:26Speaker 2: This crazy Macklemore. This is the guy that was opening
- 36:30Speaker 2: for Ed Sheeran. Ed Sheeran is like the nicest guy
- 36:34Speaker 2: in the music business. How he got tangled up with
- 36:35Speaker 2: this idiot. Macklemore is using this as much as he can.
- 36:41Speaker 2: His point is he hates Jews. He hates Israel. He
- 36:46Speaker 2: gets on stage. You're paying hundreds of dollars a ticket
- 36:49Speaker 2: for a concert. for the guy to sing.
- 36:51Speaker 5: And instead you get to all of my Jewish brothers
- 36:55Speaker 5: and sisters, criticism of Israel, criticism of apartheid being against
- 37:02Speaker 5: genocide in no way is a criticism of you.
- 37:06Speaker 2: That's a real anti-Semitism. Semite called it, called it apartheid.
- 37:11Speaker 2: There was no apartheid genocide. There was no genocide except
- 37:14Speaker 2: on the part of Hamas when they committed the October
- 37:18Speaker 2: 7th Holocaust. But so he's a, been thrown off the tour.
- 37:24Speaker 2: The stadium owners will not let him appear there, led
- 37:27Speaker 2: by Bob Kraft, Robert Kraft. So McLemore trying to exploit
- 37:31Speaker 2: the whole situation now. He's going after Bob Kraft, and
- 37:36Speaker 2: he was yelling and screaming about Kraft. Why don't you
- 37:40Speaker 2: do something humanitarian? Why don't you do something like that? Well,
- 37:45Speaker 2: if you look at the track record of Bob Kraft,
- 37:47Speaker 2: the guy's a major, major philanthropist donating to all kinds
- 37:51Speaker 2: of humanitarian causes, charities all his life. And as soon
- 37:56Speaker 2: as McLemore said that, Kraft wrote a check for $ 2
- 38:01Speaker 2: million for humanitarian aid for Gaza and all of that.
- 38:08Speaker 2: As soon as he heard that, Kraft wrote a $ 2
- 38:10Speaker 2: million check for humanitarian aid. We're still waiting for Macklemore's check.
- 38:16Speaker 2: Still waiting to get something from Macklemore. Haven't heard anything yet.
- 38:20Speaker 2: So all of this is exposing the silly, frightening anti-Semitism
- 38:26Speaker 2: in the world of music fans. Many of them are
- 38:32Speaker 2: now demanding a refund for their Ed Sheeran tickets. They
- 38:34Speaker 2: won't go and they want their money back if Macklemore
- 38:38Speaker 2: is not there.
- 38:38Speaker 3: So this is absolutely... Insane.
- 38:41Speaker 2: AOC jumping in on this. Now she's going after Ed Sheeran.
- 38:45Speaker 18: I have a huge amount of empathy for the situation
- 38:49Speaker 18: because I think people want the focus here to be
- 38:55Speaker 18: about Ed Sheeran, and he, of course, plays a role,
- 38:58Speaker 18: but they're not putting the focus on Robert Kraft and
- 39:02Speaker 18: the actual people who are kind of twisting things here.
- 39:06Speaker 18: And again, everyone has... responsibility in the situation. Everyone plays
- 39:11Speaker 18: a role, but we need to be very clear about
- 39:14Speaker 18: how dangerous a precedent this is.
- 39:17Speaker 2: It's not a dangerous precedent. You're booking a music concert.
- 39:20Speaker 2: You don't want any crazy political nonsense. And she is
- 39:22Speaker 2: going after Ed Sheeran. See, she's lying there. Listen to
- 39:26Speaker 2: this reporter who asked her a question.
- 39:28Speaker 6: Hey, if Ed Sheeran comes on the radio while you're
- 39:33Speaker 6: driving along, are you changing the channels?
- 39:36Speaker 13: I am.
- 39:37Speaker 7: I am.
- 39:37Speaker 3: I am. I am. Now, I love Z100.
- 39:40Speaker 2: It's our other station right down the hall. I do
- 39:43Speaker 2: actually listen to Z100. I have never once said, what
- 39:47Speaker 2: is that, Ed Sheeran? Turn the channel. I'm not listening
- 39:49Speaker 2: to this. Who would turn the station because Ed Sheeran,
- 39:51Speaker 2: first of all, Ed Sheeran comes on every 20 minutes.
- 39:54Speaker 2: It's just insane. And if you had any sympathy for Macklemore,
- 39:58Speaker 2: remember when he said.
- 39:59Speaker 1: Yeah, f * * * America.
- 40:05Speaker 2: That's Macklemore.
- 40:07Speaker 5: Yeah, f * * * America.
- 40:09Speaker 2: Yeah, so have no sympathy for him at all. President
- 40:14Speaker 2: Trump getting blocked everywhere about putting his name on the
- 40:17Speaker 2: Kennedy Center. They wanted to, he wanted to call it
- 40:19Speaker 2: the Kennedy Trump center or probably the Trump Kennedy center, uh,
- 40:25Speaker 2: that got shot down. So then the idea was it
- 40:28Speaker 2: doesn't need renovations. It's about to collapse. It's in total disrepair.
- 40:32Speaker 2: So it has to be renovated, but the judge blocked everything.
- 40:34Speaker 2: And then he was going to, he finally agreed to, uh,
- 40:37Speaker 2: Kennedy center. And then somewhere on this building, it would
- 40:40Speaker 2: say as a read, redone by Donald Trump, a judge
- 40:45Speaker 2: shot that down. And the Kennedy center, uh, Well, Trump
- 40:49Speaker 2: is now saying he may tear down the whole Kennedy Center.
- 40:53Speaker 2: You know, the problem is it's a little childish. You
- 40:56Speaker 2: can't do that. I mean, if you renovate the thing,
- 41:03Speaker 2: I guess you're entitled to have your name on it somewhere,
- 41:06Speaker 2: but you don't have to insist on it. But he
- 41:09Speaker 2: likes to put his name on things. The problem with this,
- 41:12Speaker 2: it's too childish. I'm going to tear it all down.
- 41:14Speaker 2: I'll just destroy it. You can't do that. That's the
- 41:16Speaker 2: kind of thing you do in business. When you're a builder,
- 41:21Speaker 2: and see, the problem is he's done that all his life.
- 41:22Speaker 2: And all these guys do it. That's not wrong. If
- 41:26Speaker 2: you're trying to build some big office building or some
- 41:29Speaker 2: Yankee stadium or something, and the city or the town
- 41:32Speaker 2: is giving you a hard time and blocking you and
- 41:35Speaker 2: giving you nothing but grief, that's what you do. You throw, well,
- 41:38Speaker 2: I'll move the Yankees to New Jersey or some big
- 41:41Speaker 2: office building. You know, the companies do that all the time.
- 41:44Speaker 2: And they're giving a hard time. Oh, we'll move the
- 41:46Speaker 2: thing to Westchester then if you want. How many times
- 41:49Speaker 2: does the stock market threaten to move to Westchester? You
- 41:53Speaker 2: do that all the time in the private sector. You
- 41:55Speaker 2: can't do that in the government. These are public institutions.
- 41:58Speaker 2: You can't threaten to tear down the Kennedy Center just
- 42:01Speaker 2: because they won't let you put your name on it.
- 42:03Speaker 2: Although he is right about the dire need to fix
- 42:07Speaker 2: this place. They've actually closed it down because it's just
- 42:10Speaker 2: too dangerous to have people in the building. The whole thing.
- 42:15Speaker 2: It's about to collapse, the Kennedy Center. They call it
- 42:17Speaker 2: water intrusion. The piping system, they kept adding on and
- 42:21Speaker 2: doing it incorrectly. And it's government, so they made a
- 42:25Speaker 2: mess of it. And the water has just seeped into
- 42:27Speaker 2: every inch of the building. Not this past weekend, but
- 42:31Speaker 2: the weekend before, big, big chunk of the ceiling collapsed.
- 42:36Speaker 2: Right over the lobby where everybody would have been standing
- 42:38Speaker 2: had the place been open. Enormous chunk of the ceiling
- 42:41Speaker 2: came crashing down. People would have been injured, hurt, maybe
- 42:44Speaker 2: even killed. So it's not safe to open the buildings.
- 42:47Speaker 2: They've closed it down. It may just stay closed if
- 42:51Speaker 2: he can't renovate it. If you've got to renovate the
- 42:53Speaker 2: Kennedy Center, Congress allocated $ 250 million for the renovation. If
- 42:59Speaker 2: the government does the renovation, it'll cost $ 6 billion. If
- 43:03Speaker 2: a real builder from the private sector does, it'll probably
- 43:05Speaker 2: cost $ 100 million. And as long as you've got a
- 43:09Speaker 2: president who's a master builder... why not let him do it?
- 43:14Speaker 2: I know many of you hate Trump. You can't stand him.
- 43:16Speaker 2: You don't like him. You don't like his policies. Fine.
- 43:21Speaker 2: But the one thing he does know how to do
- 43:23Speaker 2: is build. In fact, they do need a ballroom. Many
- 43:26Speaker 2: presidents have said they've got to have this ballroom. As
- 43:29Speaker 2: long as you've got a guy in office who's a
- 43:31Speaker 2: master builder and has already built 150 ballrooms, let him
- 43:35Speaker 2: do it.
- 43:37Speaker 3: Let him do it.
- 43:37Speaker 2: Have you seen that new heliport? It's beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.
- 43:44Speaker 2: it's got the seal of the president. It's magnificent.
- 43:47Speaker 3: It's in all kinds of granite.
- 43:49Speaker 2: You know, when the helicopter would land on the White
- 43:51Speaker 2: House lawn, this has been going on for years. These
- 43:54Speaker 2: are not regular helicopters. These are these big, enormous military
- 43:59Speaker 2: marine helicopters. You know how hot the heat coming out
- 44:03Speaker 2: of that engine gets? When they would land, they would
- 44:05Speaker 2: burn up the grass. The tires are so big, they
- 44:08Speaker 2: would destroy the grass. So what they would do When
- 44:11Speaker 2: the helicopter had to land, you never even noticed this.
- 44:13Speaker 2: They put down these four enormous metal plates on the
- 44:16Speaker 2: ground for the tires to land on the metal plates
- 44:20Speaker 2: because the grass couldn't hold the helicopter or it'd burn
- 44:22Speaker 2: up the grass. So that's why when you saw Marine
- 44:26Speaker 2: One come down, it came down so slow and it
- 44:28Speaker 2: jerked around a little because the pilot had to hit
- 44:31Speaker 2: those four plates exactly. And Trump, after watching this, just
- 44:35Speaker 2: thought it was preposterous, put in a helipad, a real one,
- 44:39Speaker 2: So the helicopter wouldn't just land and it won't tear
- 44:41Speaker 2: up and burn up the grass all the time. And
- 44:43Speaker 2: it's so big and beautiful, this heliport with the big,
- 44:46Speaker 2: beautiful emblem in it. You could also use it for events,
- 44:48Speaker 2: for parties, for a cocktail party or whatever. So he
- 44:52Speaker 2: rebuilt it. It's perfect. A lot of these things he's
- 44:54Speaker 2: done are great. Absolutely great. There's an entrance where when
- 44:59Speaker 2: you see the world leaders come in and they're greeted
- 45:01Speaker 2: on the steps and then they go through the door
- 45:03Speaker 2: into the White House. Well, when they first go into
- 45:04Speaker 2: the White House, that big area is called the Palm Court.
- 45:09Speaker 2: And it was hideous. It was cheap, cracked linoleum. The
- 45:13Speaker 2: walls weren't so great. So Trump redid that immediately. Now
- 45:16Speaker 2: it's beautiful marble. It's a grand entrance when you come in.
- 45:19Speaker 2: So he's done a lot of great things. All right.
- 45:23Speaker 2: The Oval Office, that was a good idea to put
- 45:25Speaker 2: some gold trim up there. But not every inch of
- 45:30Speaker 2: the wall. Maybe some gold on the molding or something.
- 45:34Speaker 2: but not every inch. And it was a very good
- 45:36Speaker 2: idea to bring some more paintings, some of those beautiful
- 45:38Speaker 2: paintings in there, but not 300 of them. You don't
- 45:42Speaker 2: need to put a painting on every inch of every wall.
- 45:44Speaker 2: It's a little too much. So when you walk in there,
- 45:47Speaker 2: it's like a kaleidoscope. You can't even see straight when
- 45:50Speaker 2: you walk in that room. But, uh, so he does
- 45:52Speaker 2: get carried away on some of those things, but let him,
- 45:55Speaker 2: let him rebuild the Kennedy center. He does know how
- 45:57Speaker 2: to do that. And everything he's built, uh, is pretty good.
- 46:01Speaker 2: Have you ever heard about a problem with any of
- 46:02Speaker 2: his buildings with, uh, Trump Tower. You ever heard about
- 46:05Speaker 2: a problem with the Grand Hyatt, which he built over
- 46:08Speaker 2: Grand Central? You ever hear about a problem with Trump International?
- 46:13Speaker 2: Columbus Circle. You ever been in the UN building? It
- 46:16Speaker 2: is the most disgusting, decrepit building. From the moment you
- 46:20Speaker 2: walk in the lobby to every hallway, every room is old,
- 46:23Speaker 2: decrepit looking. Right across the street, Trump World Tower. Magnificent building.
- 46:30Speaker 2: Much better. So let him rebuild all this stuff. Hey,
- 46:34Speaker 2: let me just check here. If you're a Democrat, cover
- 46:38Speaker 2: your ears. Stock market is up today, way up, and
- 46:42Speaker 2: oil is falling. It's down to $ 100 a barrel, still
- 46:45Speaker 2: way too high, but it's coming down and will keep
- 46:48Speaker 2: coming down. Hey, a new book has come out. Princess Di,
- 46:53Speaker 2: her brother, wrote a book. Princess Di's brother has written
- 47:01Speaker 2: a book.
- 47:01Speaker 3: It's a little.
- 47:02Speaker 2: late I mean that's how long ago is that 30
- 47:04Speaker 2: years ago you don't realize that Princess Di crashed 1997
- 47:08Speaker 2: that's almost 30 years ago so it's a new book
- 47:12Speaker 2: and it really goes after King Charles her brother is
- 47:16Speaker 2: Charles Spencer the ninth Earl of Spencer yeah great I
- 47:22Speaker 2: don't know what happened the first eight Earls of Spencer
- 47:24Speaker 2: but this guy's the ninth Earl of Spencer it says
- 47:27Speaker 2: new bombshell book Swan Song Diana my sister All right,
- 47:33Speaker 2: not the greatest title, but then he's only the ninth
- 47:35Speaker 2: Earl of Spencer. The monarch, he says that after Diana died,
- 47:42Speaker 2: that Charles was very cold about it. You know, the
- 47:46Speaker 2: marriage hadn't been great. And then after she died, after
- 47:49Speaker 2: the car crash, he vowed that he said his ex-wife
- 47:53Speaker 2: would be forgotten soon enough. That's how they talk if
- 47:58Speaker 2: you're royalty. You know, here in America, if you hated
- 48:00Speaker 2: your wife and she was going to cry, you'd say,
- 48:01Speaker 2: F her.
- 48:03Speaker 3: You'd say, eh, people forget about her.
- 48:05Speaker 2: But if you're a royal, she'll be forgotten soon enough. Now,
- 48:10Speaker 2: if you want to sound really classy, use that phrase,
- 48:13Speaker 2: soon enough. Yeah. So if you yelled at somebody, I'll
- 48:19Speaker 2: take care of you, just throw that in. I'll take
- 48:21Speaker 2: care of you soon enough. It makes you sound very classy.
- 48:26Speaker 3: Soon enough.
- 48:29Speaker 2: Diana, you know, I forgot about this. She was only
- 48:31Speaker 2: 36 at the time.
- 48:33Speaker 3: Only 36.
- 48:33Speaker 2: So this new book discusses how Charles had contempt for
- 48:37Speaker 2: Diana and he couldn't believe anybody would be so bowled
- 48:42Speaker 2: over by her death. They put out a statement at
- 48:44Speaker 2: Buckingham Palace. It's a good statement, actually. Very classy, this
- 48:49Speaker 2: Buckingham Palace. Normally you put out a statement, this guy's
- 48:52Speaker 2: a liar and an idiot. The statement said, it warned
- 48:57Speaker 2: that the loss of the Princess of Wales could have
- 49:00Speaker 2: muddled Spencer's memories. His Majesty is mindful that the pain
- 49:05Speaker 2: of fraternal grief can cloud reason, affect judgment, and color
- 49:10Speaker 2: memory in ways others do not recognize. Even many years
- 49:15Speaker 2: after such a loss, that is the classiest put-down ever
- 49:19Speaker 2: in the history of the world. You've got to give
- 49:20Speaker 2: Charles credit for that stuff. Anyway, we'll take some calls next. 800-321. Oh,
- 49:27Speaker 2: excuse me, wait. We'll take some calls soon enough. Soon
- 49:32Speaker 2: enough we'll take some calls. 800-321-0710 is the number. 800- 321-0710. Now,
- 49:42Speaker 2: much more Mark.
- 49:43Speaker 1: Mark Simone. Now, 9 till noon weekdays. On 710WOR.
- 49:51Speaker 2: Well, hey, there's open lines. Don't tell me you couldn't
- 49:54Speaker 2: get through. I see open lines right now. If you
- 49:57Speaker 2: want to call, it's 800-321-0710 is the number.
- 49:58Speaker 19: 800-321-0710.
- 49:58Speaker 2: Give us a call. 800-321-0710. 3, 2, 1, 0, 7, 10.
- 50:10Speaker 2: Are you a big Atlantic City fan? One of the
- 50:13Speaker 2: landmarks of Atlantic City, the Steel Pier. You remember the
- 50:17Speaker 2: Steel Pier? It's for sale. You could buy it if
- 50:21Speaker 2: you want. It's $ 85 million.
- 50:23Speaker 3: That's a lot.
- 50:28Speaker 2: That's a lot for a pier, especially in Atlantic City.
- 50:30Speaker 2: $ 85 million. It's a historic attraction. It's right across from
- 50:34Speaker 2: the Boardwalk. It's actually right across from the Hard Rock
- 50:37Speaker 2: Hotel in casino. It's 5.2 acres. It's listed by Ryan Serhant.
- 50:44Speaker 2: You know, that Serhant, he's like the new hotshot top
- 50:47Speaker 2: real estate guy. A little annoying, that guy, but it's
- 50:50Speaker 2: a thousand feet long. Classic jersey shirt. It's got the
- 50:53Speaker 2: amusement park on it. It's got a big towering Ferris wheel.
- 50:56Speaker 2: It's got games. It's got food. And it's unusual. It's
- 51:01Speaker 2: one of the, it's only pure with a built-in helipad.
- 51:06Speaker 3: All right.
- 51:07Speaker 2: Which is the It's a good deal, I guess.
- 51:09Speaker 3: It's a good deal.
- 51:10Speaker 2: Anyway, let's take some calls. Let's go to Keith in Massapequa. Keith,
- 51:14Speaker 2: how are you doing?
- 51:15Speaker 6: Hey, Mark, how are you doing?
- 51:16Speaker 20: First, I want to say I enjoy you on Kudlow.
- 51:18Speaker 2: You're talking too fast. I can't think that fast. A
- 51:20Speaker 2: little slower. Oh, sorry.
- 51:23Speaker 20: I enjoy you on Kudlow when you're on with Joe Conch.
- 51:25Speaker 4: Really?
- 51:26Speaker 2: You've got a TV now.
- 51:27Speaker 3: Look at that.
- 51:27Speaker 20: The reason I was calling, Mark.
- 51:32Speaker 2: Is I heard- Kudlow is the smartest show on television.
- 51:35Speaker 2: It is the smartest show. Everybody should watch that every day.
- 51:38Speaker 2: You're obviously a highbrow fellow if you're watching Kudlow every day.
- 51:42Speaker 20: Well, he does a great job.
- 51:43Speaker 9: You know what I mean?
- 51:44Speaker 21: He's very bright, seriously, very bright.
- 51:46Speaker 20: Almost as bright as you are, seriously, but whatever.
- 51:49Speaker 2: Not quite that bright, but no, it's the smartest show
- 51:52Speaker 2: on television. You can learn more watching Kudlow.
- 51:54Speaker 3: Go ahead. What did you want to say?
- 51:56Speaker 20: The reason I'm calling is this thing with Netanyahu, with
- 51:58Speaker 20: the mayor. Beside from getting himself in more trouble, Mamdani,
- 52:04Speaker 20: that is, with the mayor, with Netanyahu and wanting to
- 52:07Speaker 20: arrest him or whatever, wouldn't it be smart for the
- 52:12Speaker 20: Jewish Americans in the city, and I'm just saying this
- 52:15Speaker 20: as a Catholic man, wouldn't it be smart for them
- 52:17Speaker 20: to rise up and say, why don't you leave the
- 52:19Speaker 20: leader of Israel alone? It's our greatest ally.
- 52:23Speaker 2: They say that every day. They've been saying that.
- 52:26Speaker 20: It don't seem like they're too organized, though.
- 52:28Speaker 3: They're very organized.
- 52:29Speaker 2: They say it all the time. The president says it.
- 52:31Speaker 2: Everybody says it all the time.
- 52:33Speaker 20: Well, Trump I know does, yeah, but I just... It
- 52:35Speaker 20: just seems like there'd be more rallies against the mayor
- 52:37Speaker 20: or something like that with the Jewish Americans.
- 52:39Speaker 2: Well, there have been a few. You don't want to
- 52:41Speaker 2: get into the rally business. That's for crazy left-wing Democrats.
- 52:44Speaker 2: But the Jewish community, very well organized, and they do
- 52:47Speaker 2: say that all the time. But thanks for calling.
- 52:49Speaker 3: Yeah, they do.
- 52:50Speaker 2: The mayor, just an anti-Semite. It's just in his blood.
- 52:54Speaker 2: Netanyahu's not a criminal. There's no real court that's ever
- 52:58Speaker 2: accused him of anything. Well, well, maybe in Israel he
- 53:01Speaker 2: was accused of– What was he accused of? Taking a
- 53:04Speaker 2: gift or something? But outside of that, I mean, that's
- 53:06Speaker 2: just little stuff. But the International Criminal Court is not
- 53:10Speaker 2: a real court. It's not recognized by anybody except a
- 53:13Speaker 2: couple of lunatics. It's not an actual court. It was
- 53:16Speaker 2: formed by a bunch of left-wing nuts.
- 53:18Speaker 3: Who put it together.
- 53:20Speaker 2: Let's go to Colts Neck. Who is this in Colts Neck?
- 53:26Speaker 13: This is Jeff.
- 53:27Speaker 2: Hi, how are you doing? Hi, Jeff.
- 53:28Speaker 3: What do you want to say?
- 53:30Speaker 22: Well, I tell you, first time caller, I love your program.
- 53:33Speaker 22: I was saying it years ago. You should go to
- 53:36Speaker 22: three hours. I'm glad you're at three hours.
- 53:37Speaker 2: Oh, you're the guy that's responsible for this.
- 53:41Speaker 17: I am.
- 53:41Speaker 7: I am.
- 53:42Speaker 13: What the hell is wrong with you?
- 53:43Speaker 2: I got to get up an hour earlier every day
- 53:45Speaker 2: because of you.
- 53:45Speaker 13: Oh, well, come on. It works out.
- 53:49Speaker 2: I never got up that early in my life.
- 53:52Speaker 22: I just want to thank you for the support of
- 53:54Speaker 22: Trump and the support of the country. We need calm heads,
- 53:59Speaker 22: solid heads. and sane heads to get this country back online.
- 54:03Speaker 12: Thank you very much.
- 54:04Speaker 3: Thanks for calling. You're a wonderful guy.
- 54:06Speaker 2: Yippee, leave this guy ass because of him. I got
- 54:08Speaker 2: to get up at seven in the morning. See, it'd
- 54:12Speaker 2: be great to be Harry and Meghan. You don't need
- 54:15Speaker 2: an alarm clock. They don't have an alarm clock. What
- 54:17Speaker 2: do they need it for? Don't have anything to do
- 54:20Speaker 2: all day. It's quite a life they lead. They wake
- 54:23Speaker 2: up and try to figure out what the hell to
- 54:25Speaker 2: do all day. The big activity, go to lunch. Then,
- 54:30Speaker 2: spend the afternoon figuring out where to go to dinner.
- 54:32Speaker 2: That's about it. Then back to sleep. Let's go to
- 54:35Speaker 2: Kathy in North Carolina. Kathy, how you doing?
- 54:38Speaker 19: Hey, listen, don't make fun of Mondami for the, the toilets.
- 54:43Speaker 19: That's a great idea. It is the number one complaint
- 54:49Speaker 19: of New York city for tourists or anybody is that
- 54:52Speaker 19: there's no availability for toilets anywhere and safe ones. And
- 54:56Speaker 19: these sound very safe to me. And, The reason that he,
- 55:00Speaker 19: I think, put one of those near the overpass.
- 55:01Speaker 2: There's toilets everywhere. Everywhere there's toilets.
- 55:05Speaker 7: There's not.
- 55:05Speaker 9: You tell me where there's toilets that you can use
- 55:07Speaker 9: that are safe.
- 55:08Speaker 2: Okay. Let's take where I'm standing right now. I'm standing
- 55:11Speaker 2: here right now. You go one block that way, you
- 55:13Speaker 2: got the New York Hilton.
- 55:14Speaker 3: You go into the lobby.
- 55:15Speaker 19: You can't go inside there.
- 55:17Speaker 2: Yes, you can.
- 55:18Speaker 9: You cannot go inside there.
- 55:19Speaker 2: I do it all the time. Now, listen to me.
- 55:22Speaker 2: You walk into the New York Hilton.
- 55:23Speaker 13: I can't believe you just admitted that.
- 55:25Speaker 2: All the time. You walk into the New York Hilton,
- 55:27Speaker 2: go to the back of the lobby. There's a Big,
- 55:30Speaker 2: huge men's room and ladies' room.
- 55:31Speaker 3: They're really nice.
- 55:33Speaker 13: Okay.
- 55:33Speaker 2: You can use them all. I can tell you 30
- 55:35Speaker 2: places within two blocks of here.
- 55:37Speaker 3: Where you can use the bathroom.
- 55:38Speaker 19: If you want to keep a place clean and people
- 55:41Speaker 19: not urinating under overpasses, the homeless people, let them have
- 55:45Speaker 19: a effing toilet.
- 55:48Speaker 23: That's a great idea.
- 55:48Speaker 2: All right, but I'm just telling you this toilet. I
- 55:50Speaker 2: could name 15 toilets you could use. Within two blocks
- 55:53Speaker 2: of here.
- 55:54Speaker 19: That's the whole thing about Starbucks.
- 55:56Speaker 9: People couldn't go there.
- 55:58Speaker 19: They were using it, and then they shut that down.
- 56:00Speaker 19: And I don't blame them.
- 56:01Speaker 3: Starbucks, you can't. You can't just walk in and use
- 56:03Speaker 3: the bed.
- 56:03Speaker 17: They got codes.
- 56:05Speaker 13: Yeah, anyway.
- 56:07Speaker 2: So, hey, by the way, if you're worried about a restaurant,
- 56:10Speaker 2: how clean is the kitchen? Always, when you go to
- 56:13Speaker 2: the restaurant, just go look in the bathroom. If the
- 56:15Speaker 2: bathroom is clean, the kitchen is clean. If the bathroom's
- 56:19Speaker 2: a mess, hasn't been cleaned in a while, the kitchen's
- 56:21Speaker 2: a mess. Because the same exact people clean both the
- 56:24Speaker 2: bathroom and the kitchen. You got time for one more?
- 56:26Speaker 2: Let's go to Gus in Long Island. Gus, how you doing?
- 56:31Speaker 24: Hi, how you doing, Mark?
- 56:32Speaker 2: Good.
- 56:33Speaker 3: What's going on?
- 56:34Speaker 24: I wanted to tell you, you know, the way the
- 56:36Speaker 24: diners are closing?
- 56:38Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 56:38Speaker 24: We've got a brand new diner, the Peter Pan in Bayshore.
- 56:42Speaker 9: Oh.
- 56:43Speaker 24: It just opened up last month. Beautiful. Everything brand new.
- 56:48Speaker 24: It's on Sunrise Highway and Bayshore Road in Bayshore.
- 56:52Speaker 3: All right.
- 56:52Speaker 2: Very good. You know, I've noticed that in Long Island,
- 56:55Speaker 2: a couple of places, brand new diners are opening up,
- 56:59Speaker 2: old-fashioned diners. So maybe it's going on a lot in
- 57:03Speaker 2: Long Island. Maybe it's a new trend. They've been closing
- 57:06Speaker 2: for years, but there's a couple that have opened recently.
- 57:09Speaker 2: The Carnegie Deli, as you know, just reopened. That's like
- 57:11Speaker 2: a real, you know, delis, diners, they were kind of
- 57:14Speaker 2: on the outs. Maybe they're all coming back. Hey, when
- 57:17Speaker 2: we come back, the hunt for Steve Moore. I think
- 57:19Speaker 2: he'll be here. We'll see if we can talk to
- 57:21Speaker 2: Steve Moore about the Fed rate, about Kevin Warsh, about
- 57:25Speaker 2: all of that. Coming up next on 710WOR.
- 57:29Speaker 10: Live from the WOR LifeVac studios, Mark Simone.
- 57:35Speaker 2: Well, Steve Moore, the brilliant economist. You should get his
- 57:39Speaker 2: latest book, The Trump Economic Miracle. And also, of course,
- 57:44Speaker 2: sign up. He puts out the best daily briefing news analysis.
- 57:48Speaker 2: It's the hotline. Just go to UnleashProsperity.com. UnleashProsperity.com.
- 57:54Speaker 21: It's free.
- 57:54Speaker 2: It'll come right to your email. Sign up for the
- 57:57Speaker 2: hotline there. Steve Moore, how you doing?
- 58:01Speaker 24: Hey, Mark.
- 58:02Speaker 3: I'm doing well.
- 58:02Speaker 9: By the way, you mentioned our hotline. I don't know
- 58:06Speaker 9: if you saw yesterday that we reported that One of
- 58:10Speaker 9: the biggest economic stories of the year that almost no
- 58:12Speaker 9: one else has even picked up, which is the gold
- 58:16Speaker 9: standard of our economic indicators, comes from the Census Bureau
- 58:19Speaker 9: once a year that tracks what happened with family income,
- 58:23Speaker 9: what happened with poverty rates in the United States. And
- 58:26Speaker 9: this report was such a blockbuster. It showed that the
- 58:30Speaker 9: median family income for the year 2025, Trump's first year
- 58:34Speaker 9: in office, rose to an all-time high, $ 87, 500 a year.
- 58:39Speaker 9: We also, and by the way, that's adjusted for inflation.
- 58:42Speaker 9: We also saw a record low poverty rate in the
- 58:45Speaker 9: United States, the lowest poverty rate ever in the United
- 58:48Speaker 9: States for blacks, Hispanics, children, so forth. And guess, female
- 58:54Speaker 9: women's earnings went up higher than men. So the pay
- 58:58Speaker 9: gap between men and women fell. All of this good news.
- 59:02Speaker 9: Did you read that in the New York Times? Did
- 59:03Speaker 9: you read that in the Wall Street Journal? Did you
- 59:05Speaker 9: read that in the Washington Post? Did you see that
- 59:08Speaker 9: on CNN?
- 59:09Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah. I wonder why they wouldn't cover that story.
- 59:12Speaker 13: They didn't cover it at all.
- 59:14Speaker 9: I mean, I guarantee you, I guarantee you, Mark, if
- 59:17Speaker 9: this had happened under Obama, it would have been a
- 59:19Speaker 9: banner headline in every newspaper in the country.
- 59:22Speaker 2: It would have been breaking news on TV. They would
- 59:24Speaker 2: have cut into every program.
- 59:26Speaker 9: So, yeah, that's why I mean, Trump, Trump cannot get
- 59:30Speaker 9: a fair shake from the media, you know, and then
- 59:32Speaker 9: people are so depressed about the economy. Look, I get it.
- 59:35Speaker 9: Oil prices and gas prices are too high. And that
- 59:37Speaker 9: is a problem. But you look at all of these
- 59:39Speaker 9: other factors in the economy that are so positive. Trump
- 59:42Speaker 9: is right. We're bringing in trillions of dollars of new money.
- 59:44Speaker 9: You've got a construction boom going on in this country.
- 59:47Speaker 9: You've got a lot of new job creation. And yet
- 59:50Speaker 9: the media, you would think that this was the Great Depression.
- 59:54Speaker 7: Well.
- 59:55Speaker 2: That's true. Fake news has taken over.
- 59:57Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 59:59Speaker 2: You know, it started 10 years ago when Trump first
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: ran and he said, well, when will this fake news end?
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: It's locked in now. This fake news will be with
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: us forever.
- 1:00:05Speaker 9: By the way, all of these numbers I mentioned, by
- 1:00:08Speaker 9: the way, are reversals from Obama. I mean, from Biden.
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:00:16Speaker 9: They are gaining income under Trump. Here's another one. The
- 1:00:20Speaker 9: average 401k plan, and I bet most of the people
- 1:00:23Speaker 9: who are listening to this show have some kind of
- 1:00:25Speaker 9: retirement plan, either a 401k or invest, you know, their
- 1:00:29Speaker 9: money for retirement and pension plan is invested in the market.
- 1:00:33Speaker 9: The average plan is up $ 24, 500 in just 18 months,
- 1:00:37Speaker 9: whereas under Biden, because of the high inflation rate, The
- 1:00:45Speaker 9: average plan lost money. Again, nobody covers this.
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: Yeah, but the other problem is the Republicans stink at messaging.
- 1:00:53Speaker 9: They stink. They're the worst communicators.
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: Well, you just did. The one minute you just did.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: Why don't they do that? Why didn't they do that
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: at the midterm convention?
- 1:01:01Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:01:02Speaker 9: I mean, good question. You know, my mission in life
- 1:01:05Speaker 9: is to try to get them this information. I mean,
- 1:01:07Speaker 9: that's why radio shows like yours are so important. because
- 1:01:10Speaker 9: you are getting out the truth to people because you're
- 1:01:13Speaker 9: not going to get it. I mean, look, I scoured
- 1:01:15Speaker 9: through the New York Times and then there was.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: A little article in the middle of the paper.
- 1:01:19Speaker 9: Oh, by the way, record high income of last year.
- 1:01:23Speaker 9: I mean, they practically, it was buried in between some
- 1:01:26Speaker 9: ads in the middle of the paper. Nobody saw it.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: Now there's another story. Nobody's reporting, only you. If you
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: get the hotline, you'd get this story. Trump claimed Mar-a-Lago
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: was worth $ 450 million. They took him to court. It's
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: only worth $ 10 million. Explain this. A court yesterday ruled
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: that Trump was too low. It was worth even more
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: than he said.
- 1:01:49Speaker 9: Yeah, this, again, is an incredible story. So people probably,
- 1:01:53Speaker 9: what's her name? Letitia James. Yeah, Letitia James had basically
- 1:01:59Speaker 9: prosecuted Trump for financial fraud. She said that he overvalued
- 1:02:06Speaker 9: on his disclosure forms how much Mar-a-Lago was worth. She
- 1:02:10Speaker 9: said it was worth, I forget the number, somewhere around
- 1:02:12Speaker 9: $ 20 million. Now, by the way, have you ever been
- 1:02:14Speaker 9: to Mar-a-Lago?
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:02:17Speaker 9: Anyone who would look at that property, this vast property,
- 1:02:21Speaker 9: and say it's only worth $ 20 million has their head
- 1:02:23Speaker 9: screwed on. I mean, you can't even buy a four-bedroom
- 1:02:27Speaker 9: house for $ 20 million in Palm Beach. So Trump would say, no,
- 1:02:32Speaker 9: we think it's worth like half a billion. And they
- 1:02:35Speaker 9: accused him of fraud. And yesterday, the earlier this week,
- 1:02:40Speaker 9: the judge who looked at it and reviewed it said, oh, actually,
- 1:02:43Speaker 9: it's worth six hundred million. It's worth more than Trump
- 1:02:47Speaker 9: said it was, not less. And by the way, I
- 1:02:50Speaker 9: really believe because of prosecutorial misconduct, Letitia. What's her name?
- 1:02:54Speaker 9: Letitia James.
- 1:02:55Speaker 7: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:02:57Speaker 9: She should be dispowered. She should be taken out of office.
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: Well, good luck with that.
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: It's New York.
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: All the judges are Democrats.
- 1:03:06Speaker 9: It's a good example of how Trump cannot get a
- 1:03:08Speaker 9: fair shake from anybody with a D next to their name.
- 1:03:12Speaker 9: They're out to get him. And the guy is like,
- 1:03:15Speaker 9: he's bulletproof. I mean, the more they shoot at him,
- 1:03:17Speaker 9: they just ricochets.
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: Off of him.
- 1:03:19Speaker 9: But he has a nerve of steel. Most people would
- 1:03:22Speaker 9: wilt under this kind of pressure. It just makes him stronger.
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: Hey, Steve Moore, the Fed yesterday increasing a quarter of
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: a point. That was the right thing to do, wasn't it?
- 1:03:33Speaker 9: Yeah, I think so. I mean, if I'd been on
- 1:03:34Speaker 9: the Federal Reserve Board, as you know, Trump nominated me
- 1:03:37Speaker 9: to be on. I didn't make it through the process.
- 1:03:39Speaker 9: But if I'd been on the Federal Reserve Board, I
- 1:03:41Speaker 9: probably would have reluctantly, reluctantly voted yes. It's important for
- 1:03:46Speaker 9: Kevin Warsh, who's a friend of mine, yours and Larry Kudlow's.
- 1:03:49Speaker 9: And it was a great guy, I think, fantastic economist
- 1:03:52Speaker 9: and perfect choice for the Fed. He wants to establish
- 1:03:56Speaker 9: his inflation strategy. fighting bona fides, and I think he
- 1:04:00Speaker 9: did that by raising the rates. Remember what they all
- 1:04:04Speaker 9: said about, you know, all the liberals, oh, no, he's
- 1:04:06Speaker 9: going to do exactly what Trump tells him to do.
- 1:04:11Speaker 9: The media didn't report that, did they? Trump wanted him
- 1:04:14Speaker 9: to cut rates, and instead he, I think, did the
- 1:04:16Speaker 9: right thing and raised them. So it proves that he's
- 1:04:19Speaker 9: independent of Trump, but they didn't give.
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: Him credit for that.
- 1:04:21Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: What would be the argument to cut rates right now?
- 1:04:25Speaker 9: Well, Trump is right about a couple of things. First
- 1:04:27Speaker 9: of all, Trump said it very well. And so did,
- 1:04:29Speaker 9: by the way, so did Kevin Warsh. Kevin Warsh's statement
- 1:04:33Speaker 9: that he made after they announced the rate increase was
- 1:04:35Speaker 9: very bullish. He said, look, I think the economy looks
- 1:04:38Speaker 9: very strong. We got a lot of investment, all the
- 1:04:40Speaker 9: things that I just said. He recited all of those statistics.
- 1:04:44Speaker 9: He said there's only one problem with the economy right now,
- 1:04:47Speaker 9: and that's the high oil prices. And he said, look,
- 1:04:49Speaker 9: as Fed chairman, I can't do anything about global oil
- 1:04:52Speaker 9: prices because Um, but he said, look, we see this
- 1:04:55Speaker 9: economy really taking off, uh, as soon as those oil
- 1:04:58Speaker 9: prices come down. And I happen to agree with them.
- 1:05:01Speaker 9: So it was a good assessment of where we're at
- 1:05:03Speaker 9: right now. And, um, and, uh, he's, he is, uh,
- 1:05:07Speaker 9: he's going to be a fantastic. We just, I don't know.
- 1:05:10Speaker 9: I don't know how we get the oil prices down,
- 1:05:11Speaker 9: but I guarantee you when they come down and they will,
- 1:05:14Speaker 9: you're going to see, I agree with Kevin Warsh. You're
- 1:05:16Speaker 9: going to see a big boom. You know, I was
- 1:05:17Speaker 9: looking back at the Iraq war and the same thing
- 1:05:20Speaker 9: straight after Hormuz closed. Oil prices went to $ 100 and whatever.
- 1:05:24Speaker 9: When the war ended, it was all over. Oil prices
- 1:05:26Speaker 9: went to $ 42 a barrel.
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 1:05:29Speaker 9: There's no shortage of oil. The amount of oil in
- 1:05:32Speaker 9: the world is huge. I mean, we would go back to, well,
- 1:05:35Speaker 9: you live in the New York area, so you pay
- 1:05:37Speaker 9: more than most people pay for gas. But, you know,
- 1:05:39Speaker 9: around the country, we could see gas back down to
- 1:05:42Speaker 9: below $ 2. 50 a gallon if we could just get the
- 1:05:44Speaker 9: situation settled in the Middle East.
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: Well, Steve Moore, great stuff. Everybody sign up for the hotline.

- 1:06:08Speaker 9: I'm going to try to do a new book, maybe
- 1:06:10Speaker 9: on the how the blue states are burying themselves in
- 1:06:15Speaker 9: taxes and regulations.
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: Yeah, that would be good.
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: But everybody also go to Amazon. Order his book, The
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: Trump Economic Miracle. Steve Moore, thanks for being with us.

- 1:08:06Speaker 2: show just for podcast listeners. So just remember that. You
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: can get the podcast any place you get your podcasts. So, hey,
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: coming up in the next hour, we'll talk to Jimmy Fala.
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: Lots to get to him, to talk to him about.
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: And we'll get to that right after the news on 710WOR.
- 1:08:23Speaker 10: Live from the WOR LifeVac studios.
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: Well, that's a couple of things breaking here. As we
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: mentioned earlier, 60 Minutes has got this big exclusive interview
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: with Patrick Clancy that will air Sunday night. This is
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: the husband of Lindsay Clancy, and this is the first
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: time he's spoken out. He testified in court in the case,
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: but then he came back. He lives in New York,
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: in New York City, but he's doing this 60-minute interview.
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: So they're leaking out, bit by bit, pieces of it.
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: They leaked out earlier where you could see him walk in,
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: sit down in the studio. But now they're leaking out
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: some of what he said. His first revelation is, and
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: of course she killed the three kids. He said, he
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: still speaks to all three children all the time. asking him,
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: asking them to help him through the pain. I talked
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: to them. Patrick Clancy told CBS, help me all the time.
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: Are we buying any of this? Uh, you know, some people,
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: there's some people, some people just recklessly think that he
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: actually killed them, but I don't think that, but, uh,
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: he says he talks to all three children. So they're
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: leaking this out in dribs and drabs. Uh, It'll be
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: Sunday night, 60 minutes. You can see the whole thing.
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: They're trying to get some big ratings for 60 minutes.
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: We'll see Sunday night. Fed increased. The Fed rate went
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: up a quarter of a point, which is exactly what
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: everybody expected, which is probably the right thing to do.
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: The president mad at the Fed board. It's all these
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: leftover radical Jerome Powell types. One by one, they've got
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: to clean him off the board. He's not mad at
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: Kevin Warsh. He said good things about him. But this
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: is Kevin Warsh yesterday having a little press conference afterwards.
- 1:10:22Speaker 16: Economic activity is expanding at a solid pace. While uncertainty
- 1:10:27Speaker 16: remains elevated, owing in part to geopolitical developments, domestic spending
- 1:10:33Speaker 16: has been resilient.
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: You know, I know this guy. I've talked to him
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: a million times. I never noticed his voice was that high.
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: You don't notice it in real life. In real life,
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: he looks good, sounds good. It's a little high, that voice.
- 1:10:43Speaker 16: Economic activity is expanding.
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: It's a little too high, a little too high. But
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: it's good.
- 1:10:49Speaker 3: It's good.
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: The stock market reacting very well. Stock market has been
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: up all day. They like this. Investors like this quarter
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: of a point increase. It's exactly what everybody expected. And
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: it's probably the right thing. The market was up about
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: 600 points. Now it's up about 230 points. All right.
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: Here's the big story. We mentioned this last hour, but
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: this is the big story. You will not see this
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: reported anywhere. You talk about fake news. They're going to
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: block this story like crazy. The Letitia James case. Now,
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: you remember when they were trying to stop Trump from
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: becoming president, the Biden administration coordinated all these cases. Trump
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: was on trial in four different places. All of these
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: cases getting coordinated. The crazy Alvin Bragg case, which to
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: this day, no legal expert can figure out what the
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: hell the charge was. was run by Colangelo, a guy
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: from the Obama administration, Obama's number two guy in the
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: Justice Department. He was sent to New York, embedded into
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: Alvin Bragg's office, coordinating this case. Remember the one in Georgia,
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: Fannie Willis? Remember that crazy case? She put a guy
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: in charge of the case. It turned out he was
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: in the White House for hours and hours of hours
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: of meetings coordinating the case with the White House. Same
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: thing with this Letitia James case. It was all coordinated.
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: So they tried to stop Trump by arresting him, convicting him,
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: putting him in jail, whatever they could do. So Letitia
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: James came up with this crazy case, trying him for
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: a crime that would actually be impossible to commit. You
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: couldn't commit this crime if you wanted to. The case
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: was that he was trying to get a big loan. from,
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: I think it was Bank of America, trying to get
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: a massive loan, you know, $ 800 million for a project,
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: a construction project. And you have to put up collateral.
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: And part of the collateral was Mar-a-Lago. And she claimed
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: that he overvalued it because he listed it as being
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: worth $ 450 million. Have you seen Mar-a-Lago? It sounds a
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: little low, $ 450 million. So anyway, Letitia James brings the case.
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: It's in New York City. They get one of these
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: crazy left-wing lunatic, left-wing kook judges. This judge in court
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: rules that Mar-a-Lago is actually worth $ 17 million. $ 17 million. Now,
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: Palm Beach real estate experts put it at about a
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: billion dollars. And Palm Beach real estate experts said that
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: the parking lot, just the land on the parking lot
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: would be worth $ 20 million. So this crazy judge, what
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: was his name? Erdogan, Erdogan, Erdogan, whatever his name was,
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: rules it's worth $ 17 million. He said it's worth $ 17 million.
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: Trump said $ 450 million. It was a ridiculous case. I
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: think they still convicted him because it's crazy New York.
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: You get a crazy left-wing jury. Well, it's going to
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: real courts now, and a real court did the research,
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: and they have ruled. You're not going to see this
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: reported anywhere. Nobody will report this. They ruled that Mar-a-Lago
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: is worth 650 million. 650 million. So Trump actually undervalued
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: the property. He was 200 million too low, according to
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: this court ruling. So there was no crime. In fact,
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: just the opposite happened. No crime at all. Trump was
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: absolutely right in this case. In fact, he undervalued it.
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: Letitia James has yet to say a word. Now, of course,
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: fake news controls everything. You will not see this story
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: reported anywhere. And by the way, it's a crime it's
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: impossible to commit. You can't defraud a bank by overvaluing
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: your assets. If you're trying to get a massive loan,
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: you can send them whatever you want. You can send
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: them documents. You could say, my apartment is worth $ 20 million.
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: That's the collateral. They don't even look at your numbers.
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: They'll never look at your numbers. They'll never look at
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: any of it. They'll send their own appraiser, and they'll
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: decide what it's worth. Even a simple thing like a
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: car accident, a fender bender, you can call your insurance
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: company and say, yeah, it's a $ 6, 000 worth of damage.
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: They're not going to say, okay, we'll write you a check. No,
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: they're going to say, yeah, what time can our appraiser
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: be there? They'll tell you how much the damage is.
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: You can't defraud a bank in a loan. They send
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: their own appraisers. And by the way, if you look
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: at that stuff Trump submitted for that bank, it says
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: right at the bottom, Do your own estimate. Do your
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: own appraisals. And right in the bank documents, it says,
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: we're not going to use your numbers. We're going to
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: do our own appraisal. So you couldn't commit this crime
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: if you tried. And according to this latest court ruling,
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: Trump was totally, completely, a thousand percent innocent. Letitia James
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: had a totally ridiculous fake case. UN General Assembly, it's coming.
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: It's actually underway. But the big week where all the
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: world leaders come in is next week. So just giving
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: you a warning, it's going to be a traffic nightmare
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: in Manhattan all of next week. It's UN General Assembly week.
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: If you're driving in and you got to come, especially
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: the east side. But remember, it's not just the area
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: around the UN because all these world leaders stay at
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: all the top hotels. So one will be at the Waldorf,
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: one will be at the St. Regis, one will be
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: at the Plaza, one will be at the Pierre. Even
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: across the street there, the Warwick Hotel. It's just going
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: to be a nightmare. Traffic nightmare all over the place.
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: Netanyahu will be here. Expect a lot of protests thanks
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: to the crazy Mamdani crowd.
- 1:16:43Speaker 4: We are talking about someone who has been charged with
- 1:16:45Speaker 4: crimes against humanity.
- 1:16:46Speaker 3: No, he hasn't.
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: You're talking about that International Criminal Court. That's just a
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: made-up court a couple of left-wing kooks created. Not a
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: real court. He's been charged. Nothing about being a war criminal,
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: none of that is true. The other big story this morning,
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: Mamdani and his bathrooms. The one thing he should be
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: good at is a toilet. A Mamdani toilet, they'll be everywhere.
- 1:17:08Speaker 4: Today, we are putting the sewage back in sewer socialism.
- 1:17:11Speaker 4: And we're doing so because we believe that there is
- 1:17:13Speaker 4: no problem too big and no task too small for
- 1:17:16Speaker 4: City Hall to help you with.
- 1:17:17Speaker 10: Okay.
- 1:17:22Speaker 17: Okay.
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: I'm editing myself right now. There's lots of jokes there
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: about the Mum Downey toilets. You could put his picture
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: in the bottom. There's all kinds.
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: Of jokes here.
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: But they're being made at, they're going to cost $ 235, 000
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: a toilet. $ 235, 000 a toilet. You know those Saudi guys
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: with the gold toilet? They don't cost that much. But
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: it's a whole. Now, I'm thinking about other things. Don't
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: you have to have toilet paper? Wouldn't you think you
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: need soap or toilet paper or something? Are you going
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: to depend on the government to keep restocking that all
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: the time? Has anybody thought about that? Is somebody going
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: to come by every half hour to make sure? We
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: have a problem with our bathroom down here. There's a
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: cleaning crew that cleans it. I don't know why, but
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: they clean it like every hour. Every time I want
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: to go to the bathroom, it's got that sign up, cleaning,
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: like the The tape is across it. You can't go
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: in there. Every hour they clean it over and over again.
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: And I mean, we've got like six radio stations here
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: in one floor, but you don't need to clean it
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: every year. But again, when it's government run, what do
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: you think? Once every week, somebody will come by and
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: replace the toilet paper. So that's the other problem. You're
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: going to have that problem. And again, what happens to
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: homeless people? They go in there and they can't. Now, again,
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: the toilets will have a 10 minute limit. You're going
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: to get warnings. That's another thing, you know, you're trying
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: to take care of your business there, stress-free, and this
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: voice is going to keep yelling at you, timing you.
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: Your use time has expired.
- 1:18:56Speaker 21: The door is opening now.
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: What are you supposed to do? The door is opening
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: right now. What are you supposed to do? Jump up
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: and pull up your pants. I can't wait for these
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: toilets to open. This is not going to work out
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: at all for anybody. Hey, there's a woman that was
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: on the Kamala Harris campaign, top campaign official, who's written
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: a new book and is revealing they deliberately lied in
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: the campaign.
- 1:19:20Speaker 3: Oh, what a shock.
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: They lied about, remember, what was it, the convention or
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: her rally, a convention night, Beyonce was going to appear. Well,
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: they said they knew that wasn't the case. She was
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: supposed to be their final night of the convention. They
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: knew that was not the case. They said she's revealing.
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: It was just a lie to pack the stadium. They
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: were worried they couldn't fill up the arena for Kamala's speech. Remember,
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: there was another night with supposedly Taylor Swift was going
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: to come campaign. And, well, turns out that was a
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: deliberate lie. Deliberate lie. They knew she wasn't coming. They
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: just wanted to make sure that the rally got a
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: lot of attendance. You know, they keep saying, everybody keeps saying,
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: the Republicans, they got no message. They got no message. Well,
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: also remember the Democrats have no message. I mean, they
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: got the hate Donald Trump, Trump derangement syndrome message. But
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: even Maggie Haberman of the New York Times warning Democrats
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: that this is not good enough. Democrats don't have a message.
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: And she keeps saying, hating Trump, it's not enough. You're
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: going to need more than that. She's also pointing out,
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: and this is the big factor everybody's forgetting about. The
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: Republicans have a ton of money. They got like 200
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: million over at the RNC. Trump has been a fundraising
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: fanatic for the last couple of years. They got about
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: $ 200 million in the war chest at the RNC. The DNC,
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: about $ 1. 50. They got nothing, absolutely nothing in that war chest.
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: Maybe they got $ 20 million. That's about it. And Democrats
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: have a big problem. And she points out, this is
- 1:20:59Speaker 2: Maggie Haberman, says, they have been struggling with fundraising for
- 1:21:03Speaker 2: quite some time. They have never recovered from the end
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: of the Biden term. The Biden term was so bad
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: and the condition of Joe Biden was so bad, a
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: lot of donors got disgusted and walked away. Not just
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: walked away, but they walked away very angry. They were really,
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: really angry, according to Maggie Haberman, and walked away. People
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: don't like being told for two years Biden is just fine.
- 1:21:27Speaker 2: Finding out he was a disaster and that everybody knew it.
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: She cites billionaires, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, examples of famous
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: Democratic figures. who they had previously been able to count on,
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: who've walked away. Trump, meanwhile, never stopped raising money. He's
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: got a massive war chest. It'll be a big, big
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: factor in the midterms, which are pretty close. It's basically
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: less than two months, so they've got to get that
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: messaging and everything going. Bruce Blakeman, Nassau County executive, submitted
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: the new budget. No tax hike. No tax hike in
- 1:22:06Speaker 2: the new budget. An increase in police is going to
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: hire more cops. This is exactly what everybody wants. Now,
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: they love to convince you that New York City is
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: in trouble. Everything is bad. Home sales are going through
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: the roof. Commercial leasing is through the roof. In fact,
- 1:22:25Speaker 2: latest numbers show that in home sales, one out of
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: five New York City homes not only sell, but there's
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: a bidding war. Bidding wars are taking place all over
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: New York. Brooklyn is the prime center for these bidding wars.
- 1:22:38Speaker 2: But even Manhattan, one in five homes now having a
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: bidding war in New York City. So it's doing very,
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: very well. Hey, we'll take some calls next. 800-321-0710 is
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: the number. Give me a call. Especially if you're a
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: new caller, if you've never called.
- 1:22:54Speaker 3: Us before, give us a call.
- 1:22:56Speaker 7: 800-321-0710.
- 1:22:56Speaker 13: 800-321-0710.
- 1:22:56Speaker 21: Go on.
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: Well, hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Quaylen
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: in Florida. Quaylen, how are you doing?
- 1:23:12Speaker 25: Oh, my gosh. Mark Simone, I'm so happy to hear
- 1:23:15Speaker 25: your voice. The reason I'm calling because I met this
- 1:23:19Speaker 25: mega hat, red hat guy at Pasquale. Many years, for
- 1:23:26Speaker 25: many years now, and because we both listen to you.
- 1:23:29Speaker 25: So now that the Pasquale is closed.
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: Wait, wait, wait, slow down. What's Pasquale?
- 1:23:37Speaker 25: Pasquale is the restaurant.
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: In Portchester?
- 1:23:40Speaker 25: Between Portchester, yes. And it's closed now, okay?
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: Pasquale is closed?
- 1:23:47Speaker 9: Yes.
- 1:23:48Speaker 14: You didn't know?
- 1:23:49Speaker 9: Anyhow.
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: Sorry, I don't keep up on every restaurant in Portchester.
- 1:23:53Speaker 25: I know, but you know all about food.
- 1:23:55Speaker 24: Well, I do.
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: I've never been there, but it's a nice guy who
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: had a restaurant on Arthur Avenue, and it was in Portchester.
- 1:24:02Speaker 13: Okay.
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: Why did it close?
- 1:24:04Speaker 7: Okay.
- 1:24:05Speaker 25: Well, Pasquale is closed. So this year, I only saw
- 1:24:09Speaker 25: this guy once.
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: What guy?
- 1:24:12Speaker 25: And now I'm leaving. The one with the red hat.
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: So what are you, picking up guys in Pasquale's? What
- 1:24:17Speaker 2: do you mean?
- 1:24:18Speaker 25: Yes, I do. With my husband. Pardon me. My husband's 91,
- 1:24:23Speaker 25: and he, I don't know.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: How old he is.
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: So you got a little activity on the side? Is
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: that what you're saying?
- 1:24:27Speaker 14: Side, yes.
- 1:24:28Speaker 25: You could say that, because his wife was there, too,
- 1:24:31Speaker 25: and his family. So what I'm trying to tell him,
- 1:24:35Speaker 25: that now I go to Lugano in Greenwich.
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: Lugano is in Greenwich? There used to be the boxing
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: cat years ago?
- 1:24:43Speaker 25: Yeah, well, that's I think that was, exactly.
- 1:24:46Speaker 13: That's where it is.
- 1:24:46Speaker 2: Now, what is the deal with you? You seem to
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: go to these restaurants with a lot of bar action.
- 1:24:50Speaker 2: What is that all about?
- 1:24:51Speaker 25: Well, old people, we don't cook anymore.
- 1:24:52Speaker 9: We go to different restaurants.
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: You don't go to Valbella? Nice, quiet restaurant?
- 1:24:58Speaker 22: Oh, Valbella.
- 1:24:59Speaker 25: My God. That place is so expensive.
- 1:25:01Speaker 2: Well, now you want to, hey, maybe you should go
- 1:25:03Speaker 2: to J House. That's some real bar action there. I
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: think that's where you should go.
- 1:25:07Speaker 25: No, we can't. My husband can't.
- 1:25:09Speaker 20: Too noisy.
- 1:25:10Speaker 25: You know where we go now, which is delicious food?
- 1:25:13Speaker 3: Cemetery?
- 1:25:13Speaker 11: Cemetery.
- 1:25:14Speaker 3: Where?
- 1:25:14Speaker 20: La Scalle.
- 1:25:15Speaker 25: La Scalle.
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: La Scalle in the Delamar Hotel. Right on the water.
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: Very beautiful.
- 1:25:21Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: But again, wait a minute. That's a place also with
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: a lot of bar action. I think something's up with you.
- 1:25:27Speaker 25: No, we don't go to the bar. We sit in
- 1:25:28Speaker 25: the dining room.
- 1:25:29Speaker 9: The food is excellent.
- 1:25:31Speaker 3: Very, very good.
- 1:25:33Speaker 25: I don't want to waste your time.
- 1:25:34Speaker 2: But you already did.
- 1:25:35Speaker 9: Too late.
- 1:25:36Speaker 7: Well, sorry.
- 1:25:37Speaker 13: So just.
- 1:25:39Speaker 25: In case this man is calling to listen to you,
- 1:25:43Speaker 25: I just want to say hi, and I'm leaving. Hopefully,
- 1:25:45Speaker 25: I'll see him next year if I'm still alive.
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: You'll be alive.
- 1:25:48Speaker 25: My husband and I, we just celebrated our 64th wedding anniversary.
- 1:25:54Speaker 9: Really?
- 1:25:54Speaker 12: Well, that is so touching.
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: Now, unfortunately, the sun is 65. Tavern.
- 1:25:59Speaker 5: Huh?
- 1:26:00Speaker 25: Tavern of Grey Barn Tavern in Silvermont. You would like
- 1:26:04Speaker 25: to go there.
- 1:26:05Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: We're going to charge you for all these restaurant plugs.
- 1:26:08Speaker 9: All right.
- 1:26:08Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: Thank you for calling. Let's go to John Greenvale, Long Island. John,
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 1:26:16Speaker 13: Okay, Mark.
- 1:26:17Speaker 2: Hey, you got a new Uncle Giuseppe's just opened in Greenvale.
- 1:26:21Speaker 2: Big new Uncle Giuseppe.
- 1:26:21Speaker 13: Yes, it's absolutely fantastic.
- 1:26:24Speaker 2: It's amazing.
- 1:26:24Speaker 13: You must come and visit.
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: I've been there. I've been there three or four times.
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: How was their opening day?
- 1:26:31Speaker 13: I was there too.
- 1:26:32Speaker 3: Really?
- 1:26:33Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: You were the guy hogging all the free samples, right?
- 1:26:43Speaker 13: You had talked about the tragic death of Jane Mansfield.
- 1:26:48Speaker 7: Yes.
- 1:26:48Speaker 13: You know, when she died tragically, when her car rear-ended
- 1:26:54Speaker 13: a tractor trailer, and her car slid under the rear
- 1:26:58Speaker 13: of the trailer, and, you know, tragically, she was decapitated.
- 1:27:02Speaker 16: Uh-huh.
- 1:27:03Speaker 13: But here's a little known fact. After that incident, the U.S.
- 1:27:07Speaker 13: Department of Transportation passed a regulation that all tractor trailers
- 1:27:13Speaker 13: had to install a series of metal bars at the
- 1:27:17Speaker 13: rear base of the trailer.
- 1:27:19Speaker 2: So the car couldn't go underneath. Very good.
- 1:27:24Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 1:27:24Speaker 2: We always like an old guy calling with the radio on.
- 1:27:28Speaker 2: Some obscure information. Thank you for calling. Let's go to
- 1:27:32Speaker 2: John in Ronkakamo. John, how are you doing?
- 1:27:36Speaker 9: Hey, Mark. I'm doing great. First-time caller. Thanks for taking
- 1:27:39Speaker 9: my call. So, hey, we have two Uncle Giuseppi's in
- 1:27:42Speaker 9: the area. One in Smithtown and one in Mount Sinai,
- 1:27:45Speaker 9: I believe.
- 1:27:46Speaker 2: Yeah, for those who don't live in Long Island, Uncle Giuseppi's.
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: It's like the Italian Wegmans. It's the greatest supermarket. A
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: lot of great Italians, but it's such a great supermarket.
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: They're like 10 miles long. They're great, great. I want
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: one in Manhattan. Connecticut should get some. New Jersey, I
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: think you got one. You need more. But hopefully, I
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: talked to the owner. His name is a great guy,
- 1:28:08Speaker 2: Carl Del Prete. He's going to try. He's looking all
- 1:28:11Speaker 2: over the place, wants to open more. But you guys
- 1:28:14Speaker 2: are so good.
- 1:28:15Speaker 15: So you were talking the other day about people who
- 1:28:17Speaker 15: move out of New York. And everyone who moves out
- 1:28:20Speaker 15: of New York, they really miss it. I do business traveling.
- 1:28:24Speaker 15: If a friend or a family member hears I'm coming,
- 1:28:28Speaker 15: they said, bring us bagels. Well, bring us pizza, you know?
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:28:33Speaker 9: They move to these places that don't have bagels or
- 1:28:35Speaker 9: pizza or deli And then they say they love it,
- 1:28:38Speaker 9: but they don't really because they miss it.
- 1:28:39Speaker 2: Yeah, you can't get great pizza everywhere. You will be
- 1:28:41Speaker 2: able to get the bagels because a lot of these
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: bagel companies, hedge funds have gotten behind them. They're opening
- 1:28:46Speaker 2: all over the country. Pop-Up Bagels is about to be 300. Right, yeah.
- 1:28:49Speaker 13: Remember you talked about that.
- 1:28:51Speaker 17: All right.
- 1:28:51Speaker 3: Well, thanks for calling.
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: Let's go to Andrew in Newark.
- 1:28:57Speaker 3: Andrew, how are you doing?
- 1:28:59Speaker 21: Hey, Mark, how's it going on? Two things you don't mind. First,
- 1:29:02Speaker 21: the toilets, right?
- 1:29:03Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:29:04Speaker 21: It was about 30 years ago in San Francisco. They
- 1:29:07Speaker 21: came out with these self-cleaning toilets. You had to pay
- 1:29:10Speaker 21: for it, though, and then the door opened automatically. When
- 1:29:13Speaker 21: I moved there, one of the first things I saw
- 1:29:15Speaker 21: on Marcus Street.
- 1:29:17Speaker 3: One of the.
- 1:29:17Speaker 21: Oh, wow, I saw that on the news when I
- 1:29:19Speaker 21: saw this. And the door opened because time was up,
- 1:29:21Speaker 21: and a bill of smoke came out, and, like, 10
- 1:29:23Speaker 21: homeless people all shot out in different directions and stuff.
- 1:29:27Speaker 21: But it's nothing new, but... First, I think it would
- 1:29:30Speaker 21: be more economical if you just gave a guy a
- 1:29:33Speaker 21: job to stay there and be a toilet attendant, take
- 1:29:35Speaker 21: people out and keep it clean and what they're talking about.
- 1:29:38Speaker 21: And you said toilet paper, really literally like this is
- 1:29:41Speaker 21: a joke, but maybe if you just use dollar bills,
- 1:29:43Speaker 21: it would be cheaper.
- 1:29:44Speaker 17: Hey, hey, hey.
- 1:29:45Speaker 2: Now listen, one thing about city government, they can't run anything.
- 1:29:50Speaker 3: Anything.
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: Anything they run stinks. Can you imagine them trying to
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: take care of these public toilets? It's not going to
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: be very good. Let's go to Ron in Woodstock. Ron,
- 1:29:59Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 1:30:02Speaker 3: Hello? Yes, Ron.
- 1:30:04Speaker 26: Oh, yeah.
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: I wasn't sure.
- 1:30:06Speaker 7: Woodstock.
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: He's still stoned.
- 1:30:07Speaker 24: Yeah, Woodstock.
- 1:30:09Speaker 9: Great.
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: Great.
- 1:30:10Speaker 7: Great.
- 1:30:10Speaker 26: What I'm calling about, you know, all these politicians, they
- 1:30:14Speaker 26: should crack down on these corporations cheating on their taxes.
- 1:30:18Speaker 26: It's a myth.
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: Well, I know they don't cheat on their taxes. They
- 1:30:21Speaker 2: pay more taxes than anybody. They pay all the taxes.
- 1:30:23Speaker 26: I know, but the myth is this. Every corporation, I
- 1:30:27Speaker 26: work for a Fortune 300. That's on the Forbes calendar.
- 1:30:32Speaker 26: And every corporation has to give the IRS a room
- 1:30:36Speaker 26: at corporate headquarters.
- 1:30:38Speaker 3: Oh, I know.
- 1:30:38Speaker 2: The corporations all pay their taxes. It just sounds good
- 1:30:41Speaker 2: for Democrats. If corporations would only pay their fair share,
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: they play more than their fair share already. Hey, by
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: the way, Democrats have tariffs on everybody. A tariff is
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: when you increase the tax on a corporation because what
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: they do is they tack it onto the price. That's
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: basically a tariff. It's the same thing. When Trump puts
- 1:31:01Speaker 2: a tariff on, corporations don't necessarily have to pay it.
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: Very often it's paid by the exporter, by the middleman.
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: But when you put a tax on a corporation, boom,
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: it goes right into the price. That's a real tariff. Hey,
- 1:31:12Speaker 2: when we come back, nobody better to talk about these
- 1:31:15Speaker 2: Mamdani toilets than Jimmy Fallon, the great comedian, great WOR host,
- 1:31:21Speaker 2: Fox News host. Very funny guy. We'll talk to him
- 1:31:23Speaker 2: next on 710WOR. You're listening to The Mark Simone Show
- 1:31:30Speaker 2: on 710WOR.
- 1:31:34Speaker 3: Well, we're looking for Jimmy Fallon. You couldn't find him?
- 1:31:38Speaker 26: Hmm.
- 1:31:40Speaker 3: Yeah, wait. Let me send him a text here. Hang on.
- 1:31:45Speaker 10: There you go.
- 1:31:48Speaker 2: Just text him. He'll pick up. He'll pick up. Get
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: a hold of Jimmy Fallon. He's going to be doing
- 1:31:54Speaker 2: a comedy show, a great night of comedy, Kuchina Kalandra, Fairfield,
- 1:32:00Speaker 2: New Jersey, October 28th. You can get all the details.
- 1:32:04Speaker 2: You can get tickets and all the details at 710WOR. com, 710WOR. com.
- 1:32:13Speaker 2: So do that right now before they sell out. So
- 1:32:19Speaker 2: while we wait for Jimmy Fallon, we'll find him. New
- 1:32:22Speaker 2: Bowling Green State University, YouGov.Poll. There's two people you can't
- 1:32:26Speaker 2: trust at all.
- 1:32:27Speaker 3: Two groups.
- 1:32:29Speaker 2: But who's leading as the 2028 Democratic candidate? Who's the
- 1:32:34Speaker 2: number one? Let me see here. And, well, Newsom dropped
- 1:32:39Speaker 2: to third place. Dropped to third place. Number one, I
- 1:32:43Speaker 2: hate to break it to you, is Kamala Harris. Yes,
- 1:32:47Speaker 2: she's number one with 17%. Who's number two? Pete Buttigieg
- 1:32:55Speaker 2: at 16%. Here's a guy, this is like democratic politics.
- 1:32:58Speaker 2: Here's a guy with absolutely no qualifications to be the
- 1:33:03Speaker 2: president of the United States. Not qualified in any way.
- 1:33:05Speaker 2: I know he was the mayor of South Bend, Indiana,
- 1:33:08Speaker 2: which is a very small town. I know he was
- 1:33:13Speaker 2: the transportation secretary, but you can't use that as experience
- 1:33:16Speaker 2: because he stunk at it. He was a disaster. You
- 1:33:19Speaker 2: remember how the supply chain was all clogged up? Remember
- 1:33:23Speaker 2: what a mess it was, everything under him? So he's
- 1:33:27Speaker 2: second place. Third place is a tie. Third place is
- 1:33:33Speaker 2: a tie between Gavin Newsom and AOC.
- 1:33:36Speaker 3: Believe it or not.
- 1:33:37Speaker 2: It's interesting because everybody thinks AOC is such a strong candidate,
- 1:33:41Speaker 2: but she's in third place. So that would be third
- 1:33:44Speaker 2: and fourth. They're tied for third. Fifth place is Mark Kelly,
- 1:33:48Speaker 2: Senator Mark Kelly. He's that very angry, nasty, angry... Arizona congressman. So, hey,
- 1:33:55Speaker 2: we were talking about crazy Mamdani before with his toilets
- 1:33:58Speaker 2: and all of that. The other thing is Mamdani's got
- 1:34:01Speaker 2: a real problem coming up. And this is a New
- 1:34:05Speaker 2: York City judge, New York City court. But the judge
- 1:34:09Speaker 2: actually is a Republican. But they're going after Mamdani for
- 1:34:14Speaker 2: that whole rent freeze. You know, Mamdani promised a rent freeze.
- 1:34:17Speaker 2: He promised to do all this. You have to work.
- 1:34:20Speaker 2: with the rent stabilization board yet. Well, Mamdani loaded up
- 1:34:25Speaker 2: the board with all his cronies, and they're not supposed
- 1:34:28Speaker 2: to collaborate. They're not supposed to, you know, secretly conspire
- 1:34:33Speaker 2: on anything. Well, they believe Mamdani has, since he put
- 1:34:37Speaker 2: in all these former cronies, all these left-wing kooky allies
- 1:34:41Speaker 2: of his. So the judge has ruled that Mamdani turn
- 1:34:46Speaker 2: over everything, his emails, his texts, They're going to look
- 1:34:49Speaker 2: through them to see if there was any collusion on this.
- 1:34:53Speaker 2: The order does exclude communications between Mamdani and his own staff.
- 1:34:58Speaker 2: But Mamdani colluding with that rent board, they're going to
- 1:35:01Speaker 2: take a good hard look at that and see if
- 1:35:04Speaker 2: they can find anything. So that's probably not going to
- 1:35:06Speaker 2: go well for him. Not going to be the best
- 1:35:09Speaker 2: thing for him. Hey, also, this was a horrific story.
- 1:35:17Speaker 2: This guy with the McLaren, you know, the McLaren is
- 1:35:19Speaker 2: like a $ 400, 000 car. So he's a young guy and
- 1:35:23Speaker 2: he's got a McLaren and he's out with a Hooters waitress,
- 1:35:26Speaker 2: actually a Hooters calendar girl. It's like the ideal date, right?
- 1:35:31Speaker 2: You got a McLaren, you got a Hooters calendar girl.
- 1:35:35Speaker 2: It ends with the most horrific video, which is online.
- 1:35:39Speaker 2: You can see the video. The McLaren slams into a tree,
- 1:35:45Speaker 2: bursts into flames. kills him, kills the Hooters calendar girl.
- 1:35:52Speaker 2: He's 27. She's 22. The car behind it has one
- 1:35:56Speaker 2: of those dash cams, which records the whole thing. TMZ
- 1:36:00Speaker 2: has the video. You don't even want to look at it.
- 1:36:02Speaker 2: It's just horrific. Apparently, he's a car influencer. What's a
- 1:36:05Speaker 2: car influencer? Well, you know, they got food influencers. He's
- 1:36:09Speaker 2: a car influencer. I guess they lent him the McLaren
- 1:36:13Speaker 2: for this.
- 1:36:14Speaker 3: There was.
- 1:36:15Speaker 2: Right before the tree was very wet. Two things. Police
- 1:36:19Speaker 2: say he was speeding. They blame speeding. And he hit
- 1:36:23Speaker 2: that wet spot, slammed into the tree. McLaren immediately burst
- 1:36:27Speaker 2: into flames. He was the founder of San Clemente's. Oh,
- 1:36:33Speaker 2: he's one of these guys. They have one of those
- 1:36:35Speaker 2: cars and coffee things. A lot of suburbs have those.
- 1:36:39Speaker 2: But believe it or not, it's cars and coffee. And
- 1:36:42Speaker 2: it's usually Saturday, Sunday mornings. 8 a.m. where they park
- 1:36:45Speaker 2: a lot of cars, and these guys, these car fanatics,
- 1:36:48Speaker 2: walk around looking at them. It's not exactly the most
- 1:36:50Speaker 2: fun event, getting up at 8 o'clock in the morning
- 1:36:52Speaker 2: to look at a McLaren or two, but a terrible story. Hey,
- 1:36:56Speaker 2: we still can't find Jimmy Fallon? Oh, that's strange.
- 1:36:59Speaker 3: Well, let's take a.
- 1:36:59Speaker 2: Call or two. Let's go to line four. Who's this
- 1:37:04Speaker 2: on line four? Hi, this is Doug. Doug, how are
- 1:37:07Speaker 2: you doing?
- 1:37:09Speaker 7: Mariska Hargitay.
- 1:37:11Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:37:12Speaker 7: Daughter of Jane Mansfield.
- 1:37:13Speaker 2: Oh, that's right.
- 1:37:14Speaker 7: Yeah. Who was in the car when the accident happened.
- 1:37:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:37:19Speaker 7: Said that her mother was not decapitated. Well, the rumors
- 1:37:24Speaker 7: started because they found Jane's wig in the roadway.
- 1:37:28Speaker 2: Well, yeah, the news reports at the time said decapitated.
- 1:37:30Speaker 2: I didn't realize she was in the car.
- 1:37:32Speaker 15: Yes.
- 1:37:33Speaker 3: How old would she have been then?
- 1:37:35Speaker 7: Don't know.
- 1:37:35Speaker 2: That was about 1966, something like that. Wow. What a
- 1:37:40Speaker 2: horrible thing to be in that car. Then the, you're
- 1:37:42Speaker 2: in the car and your mother and father are killed
- 1:37:46Speaker 2: unbelievable uh line two don't go to it oh it's
- 1:37:53Speaker 2: one of those callers let's just wait let's go to
- 1:37:57Speaker 2: it for a second hey is.
- 1:37:58Speaker 3: This steve.
- 1:38:01Speaker 9: Steve, you know something? You guys that say just come
- 1:38:04Speaker 9: here legally.
- 1:38:05Speaker 17: Yeah, this is one of these guys. He's got that real,
- 1:38:08Speaker 17: you can always spot him. He calls it a different
- 1:38:10Speaker 17: name every time. Every time, different name, different town, but
- 1:38:14Speaker 17: you can always spot him. He's got that accent.
- 1:38:16Speaker 2: And he always just goes, everything is you people and
- 1:38:20Speaker 2: these illegals and why you want to deport everybody and
- 1:38:24Speaker 2: this has got to, well, that's it. But, you know,
- 1:38:27Speaker 2: it's like a nice sunny morning. It's still the summer.
- 1:38:30Speaker 2: You'd think you'd be in a good mood. You would
- 1:38:33Speaker 2: think you'd be happy, enjoying yourself, have a cup of coffee,
- 1:38:36Speaker 2: enjoy the day. Did you ever try pickleball? Maybe that'll
- 1:38:40Speaker 2: get some of that tension out of you. No, I
- 1:38:44Speaker 2: guess not. All right, well, he said his piece. Luckily,
- 1:38:46Speaker 2: nobody else. I see it's on hold, but it's got that.
- 1:38:52Speaker 3: Banner on it.
- 1:38:53Speaker 2: Bad caller, bad caller. Don't take it. So, Steve, be grateful.
- 1:38:57Speaker 2: You've earned one of those. It's not easy to get
- 1:38:59Speaker 2: one of those where we put that every time your
- 1:39:02Speaker 2: phone comes. See, when you call, we can see everything
- 1:39:04Speaker 2: on the screen. You get that boom, that big banner.
- 1:39:07Speaker 2: Bad caller, bad caller, bad caller. And you're wondering, why
- 1:39:10Speaker 2: would they call him a bad caller? Take a listen.
- 1:39:12Speaker 2: You heard for yourself. So, still no Jimmy Fallon. Boy,
- 1:39:17Speaker 2: that's strange. Well, we'll find him. Maybe we'll get him
- 1:39:21Speaker 2: back next week. Scott Besant, talking about Donald Trump with
- 1:39:27Speaker 2: his $ 5, 000 checks. He said, it might be very possible
- 1:39:31Speaker 2: to do it with the tariffs. Believe it or not,
- 1:39:33Speaker 2: tariff revenue could come to $ 20 trillion possibly. Well, you
- 1:39:39Speaker 2: never know. Hey, one more call. Let's go to Rich Fairlawn,
- 1:39:42Speaker 2: New Jersey. Rich, how you doing?
- 1:39:44Speaker 13: Fine, sir.
- 1:39:46Speaker 23: I wonder if the news is going to put it
- 1:39:49Speaker 23: About Massachusetts, where about the young lady, 15 years old,
- 1:39:54Speaker 23: was taken by the state so that they can have
- 1:39:57Speaker 23: gender to her mother or father.
- 1:40:00Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a big thing.
- 1:40:01Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:40:01Speaker 3: Anyway, thanks for.
- 1:40:02Speaker 2: What's going on today? Everybody sounds like they're 100 calling. Normally,
- 1:40:05Speaker 2: you have callers of all ages.
- 1:40:07Speaker 3: Everybody.
- 1:40:07Speaker 2: Did somebody put our number up on the wall of
- 1:40:09Speaker 2: a nursing home or something?
- 1:40:11Speaker 3: Everybody.
- 1:40:12Speaker 2: is calling up, sounding a little kooky today. Anyway, hey,
- 1:40:17Speaker 2: we didn't find Jimmy Fallon, but just a reminder, he'll
- 1:40:20Speaker 2: be doing a big night of comedy, Kuchina Calandra, Fairfield,
- 1:40:24Speaker 2: New Jersey. That's where he's calling from, in Fairfield. It's
- 1:40:27Speaker 2: October 28th, and you can get tickets, or you can
- 1:40:30Speaker 2: get all the details, and you.
- 1:40:31Speaker 3: Can get tickets.
- 1:40:32Speaker 2: Just go to 710WOR. com slash Jimmy. 710WOR. com slash Jimmy. Hey,
- 1:40:42Speaker 2: and don't forget, you can hear him tonight, 9 to midnight.
- 1:40:46Speaker 2: He'll be on WOR. Now, I'm on, you know, 9
- 1:40:48Speaker 2: to noon every day. It's a three-hour show now. We
- 1:40:51Speaker 2: start at 9 a.m.
- 1:40:52Speaker 7: Now.
- 1:40:52Speaker 2: It's 9 a.m. till noon every day. Then at noon, Buck, Sexton, Clay, Travis,
- 1:40:56Speaker 2: they do a great show every day. Then at 3 o'clock,
- 1:41:00Speaker 2: you got the most listened to radio show in America,
- 1:41:03Speaker 2: Sean Hannity. It's a pretty powerful lineup. You got Jesse
- 1:41:06Speaker 2: Kelly at 6, and as I say, Jimmy Fallon, 9
- 1:41:09Speaker 2: to midnight. And of course... In the morning, right before
- 1:41:11Speaker 2: I come on, it's Curtis Lewin and Larry Minty, 6
- 1:41:14Speaker 2: to 9 on 710WOR.
- 1:41:18Speaker 1: Now, 9 till noon, weekday. Smart Simone. Only on 710WOR.
- 1:41:26Speaker 2: Well, stock market doing very well today. Oil prices dropping
- 1:41:31Speaker 2: a little. Everybody happy. Fed did raise the rate a
- 1:41:34Speaker 2: quarter of a point, but that was expected. It was
- 1:41:36Speaker 2: already built in, and nothing wrong with that. Um, just
- 1:41:41Speaker 2: a reminder next week is it's a UN general assembly.
- 1:41:44Speaker 2: It's already underway, but next week is the week where
- 1:41:46Speaker 2: all the world leaders come in for the UN general assembly.
- 1:41:49Speaker 2: So next week, it's going to be a traffic nightmare
- 1:41:53Speaker 2: in Manhattan and not just around the UN. You remember
- 1:41:56Speaker 2: these guys stay all over the place. Few of them
- 1:41:58Speaker 2: stay at the Waldorf. Some of them stay at the St.
- 1:42:00Speaker 3: Regis.
- 1:42:01Speaker 2: Some of them stay at the, at the Plaza, at
- 1:42:04Speaker 2: the Pierre. So wherever you go, You're going to have
- 1:42:06Speaker 2: traffic problems because of these world leaders all over New
- 1:42:09Speaker 2: York City. And the whole thing will be on next week.
- 1:42:12Speaker 2: I don't want to say where Netanyahu is staying, but
- 1:42:14Speaker 2: I would imagine there's going to be a lot of
- 1:42:17Speaker 2: protesting there. Thanks to Crazy Mom Donnie and all these
- 1:42:22Speaker 2: other anti-Semites ginning.
- 1:42:23Speaker 3: Up all this stuff.
- 1:42:24Speaker 2: So expect a lot of protesting and a big traffic
- 1:42:28Speaker 2: nightmare next week. Not a good week to drive into
- 1:42:31Speaker 2: Manhattan next week. Just remember, AI is going to kill everybody.
- 1:42:36Speaker 2: Just keep that in mind. This hoax going on and on,
- 1:42:41Speaker 2: even dragging Hillary into it. When the 9-11 Commission came
- 1:42:46Speaker 2: out with its report. So she compares it to 9-11,
- 1:42:48Speaker 2: to this, to, it's the next, the climate change hoax
- 1:42:51Speaker 2: isn't working anymore. They're going to try AI now. Why,
- 1:42:54Speaker 2: if only we could slow down. If only we could
- 1:42:57Speaker 2: have guardrails. It's four companies. You're a cartel. You control everything.
- 1:43:02Speaker 2: You can slow down right now if you want. You
- 1:43:04Speaker 2: can put in the guardrails at 2 o'clock today if
- 1:43:06Speaker 2: you just do it. Stop bothering. It's all to scare people.
- 1:43:10Speaker 2: It's all going to be trying to use it for
- 1:43:12Speaker 2: the midterms. We'll talk more about it on tomorrow's show. Hey,
- 1:43:15Speaker 2: we're out of time. I'll be back tomorrow, 6 to 9.
- 1:43:18Speaker 2: Talk to you then. Mark Simone here on 710WOR.
