- 0:00Speaker 1: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 0:03Speaker 1: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador
- 0:07Speaker 1: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 0:11Speaker 1: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 0:15Speaker 1: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 0:19Speaker 1: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy nom the United States
- 0:23Speaker 1: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 0:28Speaker 1: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 0:31Speaker 1: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 0:35Speaker 1: are here illegally, your next you will be fined nearly
- 0:39Speaker 1: one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned, and deported. You will
- 0:43Speaker 1: never return. But if you register using our CBP home
- 0:46Speaker 1: app and leave now, you could be allowed to return legally.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Do what's right. Leave now. Under President Trump, America's laws,
- 0:55Speaker 1: border and families will be protected.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Some things that do look promising. So the US has
- 1:02Speaker 3: reportedly announced billions of dollars in subsidies for advanced chips.
- 1:07Speaker 3: So we talked about chips. Last episode, we talked about smh.
- 1:11Speaker 3: We talked about AMD, we talked about we talked about
- 1:15Speaker 3: quad Qualm, qual Qualm.
- 1:17Speaker 2: We talked about Nvidia. Of course, yes, but the.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Biden administration is prepared to allocate billions of dollars and
- 1:25Speaker 3: subsidies to major semiconductor companies to develop new manufacturing facilities
- 1:31Speaker 3: in the United States. This move is part of a
- 1:33Speaker 3: broader strategy to boost domestic production of advanced semiconductors. So
- 1:40Speaker 3: what are your thoughts on this? You know, even when
- 1:43Speaker 3: we had am and rah on and he was saying
- 1:46Speaker 3: that the workforce in America is really not even trained
- 1:50Speaker 3: at a high level to produce a lot of these chips.
- 1:54Speaker 3: But then there's there's AI that comes into place as well,
- 1:57Speaker 3: But that would kind of defeat the purpose of trying
- 2:01Speaker 3: to hire jobs in America. So we'll write billions of dollars.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Is this something that's going to beneficials for the chip industry?
- 2:06Speaker 3: If so, which companies will benefit? American companies like Intel?
- 2:11Speaker 3: Who's going to benefit from this billions of dollars into
- 2:15Speaker 3: chips situation?
- 2:17Speaker 4: Intel twelve percent on Friday, so it won't be them.
- 2:19Speaker 4: For NITO, let's split it through Santo, AMD and Video
- 2:25Speaker 4: are going to be the two primary beneficiaries. Is it
- 2:28Speaker 4: a good move by the government With it being in
- 2:30Speaker 4: an election year, you do have to put some capital
- 2:33Speaker 4: into some sectors that can help the economy grow a while.
- 2:37Speaker 4: Even though GDP over the last quarter rows, you want
- 2:40Speaker 4: to have a sustained growth in terms of GDP. AMD
- 2:44Speaker 4: and and video are the two players that are going
- 2:46Speaker 4: to do incredibly well. And also the big threat on
- 2:50Speaker 4: the table is we cannot have Taiwan Semiconductor be the
- 2:55Speaker 4: number one chip maker and the best chip maker manufacturer
- 2:59Speaker 4: while all of our tech companies are based in Silicon
- 3:03Speaker 4: Valley and be dependent upon them. So not only is
- 3:06Speaker 4: it a way to help advance GDP in the future,
- 3:09Speaker 4: but it's also a hedge because if we are going
- 3:12Speaker 4: to hitch our economy to AI and chips over the
- 3:15Speaker 4: next ten to twenty years, we can't have the number
- 3:18Speaker 4: one player b in Taiwan.
- 3:20Speaker 2: So I think it is great.
- 3:22Speaker 4: We've talked about AMD endlessly one of my favorites, and
- 3:24Speaker 4: Video is one of my favorites. They'll do incredibly well.
- 3:28Speaker 4: Google will get some spillover, Metal will get some spillover
- 3:31Speaker 4: as a result. That's part of the reason why you
- 3:33Speaker 4: saw Zuckerberg announced how many GPUs that they bought as well,
- 3:38Speaker 4: which does make them a bigger player as a result.
- 3:42Speaker 2: But by the top two of all.
- 3:44Speaker 4: Time and Video and AMD, you'll be a okay, and
- 3:47Speaker 4: Vidia does need to come down and price somewhat, but
- 3:50Speaker 4: for long term, hold those two. I know, I know
- 3:54Speaker 4: the Intel hate. It's not hate, but okay, it's Intel
- 3:59Speaker 4: better than as CML. No, are they better than Taiwan
- 4:03Speaker 4: semi conductor?
- 4:05Speaker 5: These are rhetorical questions AMD and Video.
- 4:09Speaker 4: Yeah, I can argue Intel is not better than Microme.
- 4:13Speaker 4: But so that speaking of butts, go sit as on
- 4:17Speaker 4: the bench and get a better CEO and work on
- 4:21Speaker 4: better projects. That crypto project is not going to save them.
- 4:25Speaker 5: So the announcement does it helps the industry overall. Right,
- 4:29Speaker 5: So if we're looking from an ETF standpoint, SMH I
- 4:32Speaker 5: think is the winner because it doesn't matter which one
- 4:34Speaker 5: of these companies gets awarded, it'll probably it definitely will
- 4:37Speaker 5: be inside of that ETF we spoke about in video,
- 4:41Speaker 5: we spoke about AMD, and I said, you know, and
- 4:43Speaker 5: Videous prices are high and right when they come up
- 4:45Speaker 5: with the A two two hundred, it'll you know, probably
- 4:48Speaker 5: be higher, but that's leaves a market for people in
- 4:51Speaker 5: a different class, which I think AMD will pick up
- 4:53Speaker 5: on Intel. I mean, they're just so far behind, but
- 4:56Speaker 5: they are building right, and so we talk about the
- 5:00Speaker 5: This episode is brought to you by P and C Bank.
- 5:02Speaker 5: A lot of people think podcasts about work are boring,
- 5:05Speaker 5: and sure they definitely can be, but understanding of professionals
- 5:09Speaker 5: routine shows us how they achieve their success little by little,
- 5:13Speaker 5: day after day.
- 5:15Speaker 2: It's like banking with P and C Bank.

- 6:50Speaker 1: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 6:53Speaker 1: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from El Salvador
- 6:57Speaker 1: accused of murdering a Texas. Man of Venezuelan charged with

- 7:40Speaker 1: Do what's right. Leave now. Under President Trump, America's laws,
- 7:45Speaker 1: border and families will be protected.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security.
- 7:50Speaker 5: Projects that are happening here domestically, they have three. They
- 7:53Speaker 5: have one in Arizona, Ohio, and New Mexico, Oregon. That's
- 7:56Speaker 5: spending forty three billion for that infrastructure. About Taiwan semi
- 8:01Speaker 5: conductive what they're doing in Arizona. But Samsung is another company,
- 8:05Speaker 5: right people when they.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Go to push.
- 8:06Speaker 2: When we think about chips, we don't think about Samsung.
- 8:08Speaker 5: But if you talk about from a consumer home buying experience,
- 8:13Speaker 5: look inside your home. They're probably making majority of the
- 8:16Speaker 5: chips that are inside of your TV or your fridge,
- 8:18Speaker 5: those appliances. Samsung has a huge marketing, right, but there
- 8:22Speaker 5: are companies here. You mentioned one Micron company, look at
- 8:27Speaker 5: right if they're awarded some of these subsidies. I spoke
- 8:30Speaker 5: about this three years ago. I spoke about it last year.
- 8:33Speaker 5: I think I mentioned it on the last episode. Global
- 8:36Speaker 5: Foundaries is a company.
- 8:37Speaker 2: That I definitely watch.
- 8:39Speaker 5: They're already building here in New York. And then one
- 8:42Speaker 5: that gets slept on and we kind of talked about
- 8:45Speaker 5: it and if you were in high school, you definitely
- 8:47Speaker 5: would recognize it.
- 8:48Speaker 2: But that's Texas.
- 8:48Speaker 5: Instruments absolutely right, Like, this is a company if even
- 8:52Speaker 5: if you look inside of Smah's ETF allocation, it's always
- 8:55Speaker 5: in its top ten. It fluctuates between I would say
- 8:59Speaker 5: the fifth position and maybe the ninth or eighth. But
- 9:03Speaker 5: it's just another strong semi And we always think about
- 9:05Speaker 5: it in terms of, oh, wait, that's the people who
- 9:08Speaker 5: made our calculators. But do a little deep dive into
- 9:11Speaker 5: some of the things that they're producing and you'll see,
- 9:12Speaker 5: like this is another billion dollar industry that's inside of
- 9:16Speaker 5: here in America. And so if we're looking at the
- 9:19Speaker 5: administration to give subsidies to companies that are here. Those
- 9:23Speaker 5: are some that are on the forefront that exists here.
- 9:25Speaker 5: Everybody knows the video. Everybody sees that a MD we
- 9:28Speaker 5: can we saw what happened with Intel and their report,
- 9:31Speaker 5: but these other microns and the Global Fountain were shot here.
- 9:34Speaker 4: Caulm is Intel better than Global Foundaries Qualcom And you
- 9:39Speaker 4: can argue Marvel like, what are we talking about?
- 9:42Speaker 5: Right?
- 9:45Speaker 4: Intel is like if Bill Carwright played in today's NBA,
- 9:49Speaker 4: so he'll call right, I want to smoke that bad
- 9:52Speaker 4: would put if it was the last of your kid's
- 9:55Speaker 4: money for college, which you put you out on.
- 9:56Speaker 5: I'm not doing that. No, no, no.
- 9:59Speaker 3: So this news, this news will benefit SMH as a
- 10:03Speaker 3: whole in all of the other major chip companies. This
- 10:07Speaker 3: is more, This is more encouraging news for the chip industry.
- 10:11Speaker 5: Absolutely, I would say definitely SMH does socks. I know
- 10:14Speaker 5: is another one of those that are inside of the semiconductors.
- 10:16Speaker 5: But I think the ones that are domestically, I think
- 10:19Speaker 5: those are the ones that you should be putting at
- 10:20Speaker 5: the front of your watch list, right because it's called
- 10:23Speaker 5: chips for America, right, so they're gonna look for American companies.
- 10:27Speaker 5: So the ones that we just said. I think those
- 10:30Speaker 5: ones benefit. But if you want to just be safe
- 10:32Speaker 5: about it, yeah, obviously I'm going to eat from.
- 10:34Speaker 4: Absolutely, and Qualcomma is a good dark horse as well,
- 10:38Speaker 4: if you're looking at one. Yeah, absolutely, Yeah, this is
- 10:41Speaker 4: gonna be great for the industry. It's definitely gonna provide
- 10:43Speaker 4: some safety for the next four to eight years for
- 10:46Speaker 4: this space to continue to grow. Like and I said
- 10:48Speaker 4: it maybe two episodes ago, the government is a market
- 10:51Speaker 4: maker when they say they're going to deploy this kind
- 10:53Speaker 4: of money into a space. Do you think it's going
- 10:55Speaker 4: to grow a decline. We're going to see rapid growth
- 10:58Speaker 4: here over the next four or five ye, right. And
- 11:01Speaker 4: they always I mean they have a personal interest in it, right.
- 11:04Speaker 4: They want to see it grow. They want to be
- 11:07Speaker 4: the leader in tech, and they know what's at the forefront.
- 11:09Speaker 5: They know that these are the leading pieces inside of technology,
- 11:12Speaker 5: whether it's from a business infrastructure standpoint or a personal standpoint,
- 11:17Speaker 5: like you have to have it right. And so we
- 11:19Speaker 5: saw what happened during the pandemic and it was a
- 11:21Speaker 5: lesson learned. All Right, we can't rely on this from
- 11:24Speaker 5: an international standpoint. We need to have more domestic infrastructure.
- 11:27Speaker 5: This is a step in that direction.
- 11:29Speaker 4: So yeah, and Richard, as you said the last week,
- 11:32Speaker 4: the next five years would be the most important. This
- 11:34Speaker 4: explains why this pretty much bakes in three hundred percent
- 11:38Speaker 4: growth over the next four or five years for this sector,
- 11:41Speaker 4: with the government putting all this capital at play for
- 11:44Speaker 4: it wholeful, long term hope for five years.
- 11:48Speaker 1: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 11:52Speaker 1: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from El Salvador
- 11:56Speaker 1: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with

- 12:45Speaker 2: Will be protected. Sponsored by the United States Department of
- 12:48Speaker 2: Homeland Security,
