- 0:00SPEAKER_04: Let's see.
- 0:00SPEAKER_04: Have you been to Old Hospital?
- 0:02SPEAKER_01: I have not.
- 0:03SPEAKER_01: I have not.
- 0:04SPEAKER_01: There's a lot of places like downstate West Virginia that I have not been to that I really, really, really want to.
- 0:10SPEAKER_01: So that's one of them.
- 0:11SPEAKER_01: I'm trying to think what else.
- 0:14SPEAKER_01: The uh the amusement park down there.
- 0:18SPEAKER_04: That caught on fire recently, didn't it?
- 0:20SPEAKER_01: That I don't know.
- 0:22SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 0:23SPEAKER_04: I thought I saw a picture a few months ago that some of it caught on fire.
- 0:27SPEAKER_01: Oh, I'm not sure.
- 0:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but there's I'm just I'm so far away from any of that stuff.
- 0:34SPEAKER_01: It's like a well, I mean it's not terrible, but it's like a four and a half, five hour drive for me.
- 0:39SPEAKER_01: So because I'm up at the top.
- 0:41SPEAKER_04: So I know you're talking about as well, Paranoia.
- 0:45SPEAKER_04: I'm just making fun here.
- 0:46SPEAKER_04: So um, what else in West Virginia?
- 0:48SPEAKER_04: So you got Modsville, you got Old Hospital, College Hill, Trans Allegheny.
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, um Shepherd's Town is supposed to be pretty, the whole town is supposed to have a lot of stuff.
- 1:03SPEAKER_01: There was a show that they did on that, but it was kind of uh um there's um Harper's Ferry.
- 1:09SPEAKER_01: There's a lot of stuff in Harper's Ferry as well.
- 1:12SPEAKER_01: The little asylum that I went to at this Rooney's Point.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: Um, that was a good one.
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: Trying to think.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: Then of course we have um, you know, like the other stuff, like the Mothman and uh, you know, all that stuff too.
- 1:28SPEAKER_04: So yeah, the doctor house at old hospital, you can rent that out for a little extra.
- 1:35SPEAKER_04: It's supposed to be pretty haunted, also.
- 1:37SPEAKER_04: So yeah, go there, stay there.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: I'm thinking about making okay.
- 1:43SPEAKER_04: No, I'm thinking about doing doing a two-night there and running that out and just investigate twice.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: That's what we were talking about in the summertime, kind of doing uh a long weekend and kind of hitting all the places in southern West Virginia and kind of getting them all and and seeing what we can do because there's there's a lot of places downstate that I have not been to.
- 2:04SPEAKER_04: So I mean, West Virginia has to have I mean, it's not dark history, but so many accidents with coal mines and everything else.
- 2:15SPEAKER_04: Underground railroad.
- 2:18SPEAKER_04: I mean, that was kind of supposedly like you're safe when you get into West Virginia, which it's not true.
- 2:25SPEAKER_04: But I mean, I it amazes me the Underground Railroad that in Ohio we have underground railroad, like we were the north, like you're supposed to be safe when you get up here, and you weren't.
- 2:38SPEAKER_04: And that still amazes me to this day that you know up by Cleveland we have underground railroad.
- 2:46SPEAKER_04: They had to get to Canada, right?
- 2:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it it's yeah, there is a lot of dark history in the area, and that's with Prospect Place.
- 2:54SPEAKER_01: I mean, that was the main you know theme of it, and they have this little tower up top of the house, and you know, they were saying that the uh slaves would hide in kind of in the cornfield and they would wait for that light to go up up there, and that's when they would know it would be safe to you know come into the home.
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: And it's just it's yeah, it's really, really, really crazy.
- 3:12SPEAKER_01: Um, so you have those places and you think there have you know the amount of bad things that have happened, um, there has to be a lot of energy here.
- 3:20SPEAKER_01: How could there not be?
- 3:22SPEAKER_01: You know?
- 3:23SPEAKER_04: I mean, you had the clan also there.
- 3:26SPEAKER_04: I mean, yeah.
- 3:28SPEAKER_04: Um, we'll talk about Ross House Underground Railroad.
- 3:31SPEAKER_04: So the antique store, furniture store in the basement, there's a door there.
- 3:36SPEAKER_04: It's sealed off now, but when they redid the road, they found a tunnel that went across the street, and that was part of the underground railroad.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
- 3:47SPEAKER_04: They had a couple psychics there, and they said it was three kids that were spirits that will talk to you.
- 3:55SPEAKER_04: So a lot of good activity.
- 3:57SPEAKER_04: My niece had her shirt pulled, like it looked like she said it felt like a little kid just hey, I'm here, you know.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 4:04SPEAKER_04: Type stuff.
- 4:05SPEAKER_04: So again, did antique store.
- 4:07SPEAKER_04: I don't want to give it all out, you know.
- 4:10SPEAKER_01: That that area it's interesting because I don't know, you know, I know they talk about the ley lines and you know, water and all those things, but I I worked in Bel Air Um at one point in a place not too far from the Ross house, and it was not an old building by any means, but we absolutely had something there.
- 4:33SPEAKER_01: I had so many experiences there, and I always felt nuts, you know, mentioning that to management.
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: But I'm like, there is something here.
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: I mean, I was sitting in my office one day and I saw I was the only one in there.
- 4:46SPEAKER_01: I saw someone walk right past my door.
- 4:49SPEAKER_01: Um, we would have someone try to like get in the bathroom with you, like jiggle the handles.
- 4:54SPEAKER_01: We had um it would mimic.
- 4:57SPEAKER_01: We had that happen two separate times.
- 4:59SPEAKER_01: It mimicked me and it mimicked the secretary.
- 5:02SPEAKER_01: We had um charts like fly off of the shelf.
- 5:06SPEAKER_01: I mean, crazy things happen.
- 5:08SPEAKER_01: It was very close proximity to the Ross House.
- 5:12SPEAKER_04: That town is haunted.
- 5:15SPEAKER_04: I mean, there's no doubt about it.
- 5:19SPEAKER_04: Like it's a decent sized town, it's a coal mine town.
- 5:23SPEAKER_04: Um, a little run down, but I think that whole town is just full of energy.
- 5:31SPEAKER_04: And I think that's when you go into, like we're talking about, you go into one house.
- 5:35SPEAKER_04: Why is this house haunted and not this house?
- 5:37SPEAKER_04: Because we're over here asking questions and people want their answers, so they come right because why else would you have a coal miner come to the Ross house and do the spirit box?
- 5:48SPEAKER_04: I mean, they passed four miles down the road because no one else is asking the questions, right?
- 5:54SPEAKER_04: So you know, like, hey, I heard there's a good burger join over here, so I'm gonna go top of these people, right?
- 5:59SPEAKER_04: But yeah, I mean, you had Native American wars there, big presence of the clan there, the flood was there, that was in 1910 or something like that.
- 6:09SPEAKER_04: I think so.
- 6:10SPEAKER_04: A lot of people, yeah.
- 6:11SPEAKER_04: Um, ley lines, not a huge big believer in ley lines.
- 6:15SPEAKER_04: Yeah, sorry, ley line lovers, but that's just me.
- 6:20SPEAKER_04: Wolf Paranormal.
- 6:21SPEAKER_04: I've been a Canada, it was just for gambling.
- 6:24SPEAKER_04: Sorry.
- 6:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I don't know about the ley lines.
- 6:30SPEAKER_01: I I don't know.
- 6:30SPEAKER_01: I don't really have an opinion one way or another.
- 6:32SPEAKER_01: I'm not, I don't I guess I don't know enough about that to have an opinion.
- 6:38SPEAKER_04: Some doctor I I used to have everything written down, but said there's energy between two historical places.
- 6:47SPEAKER_04: Like could be I don't know what like the pyramids and something else, like something in Rome that connect them, so there's energy.
- 6:59SPEAKER_04: Like it just kind of sounds like well, it's a straight line.
- 7:01SPEAKER_04: Well, you you put A and B anywhere in the world, it's a straight line, right?
- 7:07SPEAKER_04: Right, and that's science there, so yeah, we're good.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 7:14SPEAKER_04: I'm a weird paranormal guy, I'm not big into Halloween.
- 7:18SPEAKER_04: Okay, I've never seen one conjuring movie.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: Oh wow, wow.
- 7:25SPEAKER_04: Um I'm a big believer like true crime, so I know conjuring is based off a true story, but I've never seen any of those.
- 7:34SPEAKER_04: I don't believe in the veil.
- 7:37SPEAKER_04: Um I know the veil's thin now, supposedly.
- 7:40SPEAKER_04: I don't we're gonna know.
- 7:43SPEAKER_04: Supposed to be, but I think the veil is thin because we have 50,000 more paranormal investigators asking questions.
- 7:50SPEAKER_04: So there's gonna be more spirits talking.
- 7:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's a that's a good point.
- 7:54SPEAKER_01: That's a real big point.
- 7:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 7:56SPEAKER_01: I I am a big Halloween.
- 7:58SPEAKER_01: I I just I love anything scary and true crime too.
- 8:03SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's just always been, I don't know, my personality ever since I was a kid.
- 8:08SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 8:08SPEAKER_01: I've just always loved that stuff.
- 8:10SPEAKER_01: I you can't see it, but this is my office, and it's just covered in like scary movie stuff.
- 8:15SPEAKER_01: That's it's all the decor of scary movies.
- 8:17SPEAKER_04: So I mean, I would love to have some like scary movie posters, like old school posters.
- 8:22SPEAKER_04: I love that stuff, the artwork and everything, but watching them, no, it's I'm not scared, it's just you know, it's Michael Meyer, like whatever.
- 8:32SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I'm trying to get every state that now I do every country because it's just intriguing.
- 8:39SPEAKER_04: Like so many people say like my state's the most haunted, and everything like that.
- 8:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I I think the tri-state area, I maybe I'm biased, but I think West Virginia, Ohio, and PA have a lot of stuff.
- 8:52SPEAKER_01: I they just do, I don't know.
- 8:55SPEAKER_04: I think if you want to group three states, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, connected, probably the most paranormal than any other three states connected by a long shot.
- 9:07SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 9:08SPEAKER_04: Texas has a lot of cool paranormal down there.
- 9:13SPEAKER_04: But I mean, I don't think you can compete unless you go across the pond.
- 9:20SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, that's that's a dream of mine.
- 9:22SPEAKER_01: I I would love to to go and see all that stuff over there.
- 9:25SPEAKER_01: I'm sure they have so many cool stories and experiences and I haven't been there.
- 9:32SPEAKER_04: I've interviewed three groups from the UK on the podcast, and it's a calling, like it's gonna happen.
- 9:40SPEAKER_04: I don't care.
- 9:41SPEAKER_04: My wife's gonna hate it, she won't go with me because she doesn't like this stuff.
- 9:45SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 9:46SPEAKER_04: But I am trying to plan a trip next year and it probably runs solo over there.
- 9:52SPEAKER_04: Um, luckily the three groups that I've had on podcast invited me over, so I can hang out with that.
- 9:59SPEAKER_01: Oh, that'll be good.
- 10:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that'll be yeah.
- 10:02SPEAKER_01: I love watching their their lives and things, you know.
- 10:05SPEAKER_04: I just yeah, like I'm a big fan of like you know, Emily Paranormal's always out there.
- 10:11SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
- 10:12SPEAKER_01: Yep, I follow her.
- 10:13SPEAKER_04: Um, her as a person is pretty cool.
- 10:16SPEAKER_04: I mean, she's she's a very positive UK is a very positive group of paranormal investigators as a whole, from who I've had on the podcast.
- 10:27SPEAKER_04: And it is cool because like I believe I'm a big believer you need positive energy before you go into a place.
- 10:35SPEAKER_04: Yes, to invest.
- 10:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, not going in there and yelling at everybody.
- 10:44SPEAKER_04: And you bring negative energy, you're gonna have negative actions, just like life.
- 10:50SPEAKER_04: Like you go around being negative, someone's gonna knock you out sooner or later.
- 10:54SPEAKER_01: So right, absolutely, absolutely.
- 10:58SPEAKER_04: I've never been scratched, I've never been pushed.
- 11:02SPEAKER_04: I don't care if it does happen, I'd rather have it not happen.
- 11:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 11:07SPEAKER_01: I think it's all about you know, the respect level and like you said, being positive, and we always go in, we're always having a time, but we're respectful too.
- 11:15SPEAKER_01: And if you know, we feel like okay, it's really irritated or does not want us in here, okay.
- 11:20SPEAKER_01: We'll, you know, we'll back out.
- 11:22SPEAKER_01: We understand, you know, we're not there to, you know, just make it mad and cause it to throw something or push us or something like that, you know.
- 11:29SPEAKER_04: So do you think you have better responses when you're sarcastic?
- 11:34SPEAKER_04: Like if you and your dad and your friend are sitting there and just having a conversation, not just with the spirit, but just having a good time.
- 11:43SPEAKER_04: Do you think you get some better reactions that way?
- 11:46SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 11:46SPEAKER_01: It's almost like they want to join in on the fun or something, you know?
- 11:50SPEAKER_01: It's we definitely do because that's when we're having a little side conversation amongst ourselves, and then it'll say something totally crazy.
- 11:58SPEAKER_01: We're like, what?
- 11:59SPEAKER_01: You know, I love it.
- 12:00SPEAKER_01: I think it's I think it's great because they're really showing their personality, you know.
- 12:04SPEAKER_04: Yeah, because not all spirits are like demons or eagles, like they were people, they like sense of humor.
- 12:12SPEAKER_04: They don't want the whole, what was your name, or you know, the generic questions that everybody asks them.
- 12:20SPEAKER_04: You know, are you here?
- 12:21SPEAKER_04: You know, no one wants to hear that.
- 12:23SPEAKER_04: So with my group, I always say just have sidebar conversations.
- 12:27SPEAKER_04: Like we'll sit down in the hallway, we'll sit in Madison and just talk about how it would be to live in this time and age, you know, kind of like just a group discussion.
- 12:38SPEAKER_01: We seem to get a lot more interaction.
- 12:43SPEAKER_01: When we were at the Rooney's Point Asylum, we were sitting on the porch and um I was going back and forth with the spirit box, and it was giving a lot, but I had stopped for a second and I was doing something with my equipment.
- 12:56SPEAKER_01: I don't know exactly what, but I was no longer paying it attention, basically.
- 13:00SPEAKER_01: And then I started getting, you know, like pay attention, um, come back.
- 13:05SPEAKER_01: I mean, it was like it was mad that I was kind of ignoring it at that moment in time, you know.
- 13:11SPEAKER_01: And I I got up and walked away for a second, and it was like I wouldn't do that, you know, and it just kept trying to get me back.
- 13:17SPEAKER_01: It was like very needy, very it was it was interesting how it responded whenever I wasn't paying, giving it my full attention.
- 13:25SPEAKER_01: You know, I was doing something else, and that really bothered whoever I was talking to.
- 13:31SPEAKER_04: Have you ever like think you ran into anything demonic?
- 13:37SPEAKER_01: Not yet.
- 13:38SPEAKER_01: Not yet.
- 13:40SPEAKER_01: Um I I I don't know.
- 13:42SPEAKER_01: What about you?
- 13:43SPEAKER_04: No, I mean evil, I don't think demonic.
- 13:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 13:48SPEAKER_04: I mean, I think demonic's like 0.01% out there again.
- 13:53SPEAKER_04: If you go there with positive energy, yeah, you know, you're not inviting those that spirit or that demon in.
- 13:59SPEAKER_04: I mean, that's my belief.
- 14:00SPEAKER_04: Some people don't say that, but that is my belief.
- 14:05SPEAKER_04: Um, I don't I've run into some assholes though, not gonna lie.
- 14:10SPEAKER_04: Like there's been some not so nice spirits, but to me, they seem to pick on the girls a little more.
- 14:23SPEAKER_04: And I don't know if that's because the spirits we're investigating are like 1940s and below 50s where women were not looked as they are now.
- 14:34SPEAKER_04: I I don't want to sound like bad.
- 14:36SPEAKER_01: No, I get it.
- 14:37SPEAKER_01: It's like why are you wearing pants and why are you doing something other than being in the kitchen?
- 14:41SPEAKER_04: Yeah, why why are you showing your ankles, you know, that type of stuff?
- 14:45SPEAKER_04: Um but I've had a lot of you know, my the female bus gears on my team have very good responses at Madison in the attic because they will call out do you have a problem with a woman in charge?
- 14:57SPEAKER_04: Do you have this, that?
- 14:58SPEAKER_04: And that's that that spirit comes out and be like, hey, listen here, no, you know, because there's a very dark history and about the attic in Madison.
- 15:08SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay.
- 15:09SPEAKER_01: So yeah, I haven't I haven't too much into that.
- 15:13SPEAKER_04: So yeah, there's there's new stuff coming out.
- 15:16SPEAKER_04: So we'll last uh couple times before we were there, they found a newspaper clipping.
- 15:23SPEAKER_04: So the attic has like a big great room, there's a psychiatric hospital, and then patient rooms in the back.
- 15:31SPEAKER_04: So it was mainly a women's psychiatric hospital.
- 15:35SPEAKER_04: A lot of stuff bad.
- 15:37SPEAKER_04: I don't want to get into the stories of it because I don't like it, but a lot of stuff has happened back there and Fairfield infirmary, same thing.
- 15:47SPEAKER_04: Um, women get a lot of activity there, guys don't from everybody to talk to.
- 15:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 15:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's how the West Virginia Penn is too.
- 15:57SPEAKER_01: I mean, because it was, you know, a prison and you had a lot of bad guys in there, and a lot of them absolutely love females, and you know, they have some issues, get felled up, and then the guys end up getting those the ones that get scratched, and you know, things like that.
- 16:14SPEAKER_04: So I mean it's it has to be rough.
- 16:18SPEAKER_04: I mean, it's it's like I like sending the females into certain places because I think they're gonna get better responses.
- 16:25SPEAKER_04: But I feel bad too, because they get so much response.
- 16:28SPEAKER_04: And yeah, you know, I've had team members scratched before, and you know, I'm the one that sent them in there.
- 16:34SPEAKER_04: Of course, I feel bad, but I mean this is why we do it though.
- 16:38SPEAKER_04: Try to get some answers.
- 16:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 16:43SPEAKER_04: So did you guys run out the back buildings yourself, or was it part of a tour?
- 16:48SPEAKER_01: So it was part of a tour, um, but it worked out good because the the groups were really, really small.
- 16:55SPEAKER_01: So there was, I think, seven in our group.
- 16:59SPEAKER_01: Um, so it was kind of nice because the buildings were big enough that we could be split up and we just kind of went the opposite direction of everybody else.
- 17:09SPEAKER_01: Um and our tour guide, he was he was great.
- 17:13SPEAKER_01: His name was Copperhead.
- 17:14SPEAKER_01: Um, he had his own yeah, he had his own equipment.
- 17:18SPEAKER_01: And so uh half of the group ended up staying with him, anyways, just kind of watching him use his stuff.
- 17:27SPEAKER_01: So there really wasn't too many people just kind of free-floating throughout the building, you know.
- 17:32SPEAKER_01: So we kind of had a full rain and everyone was, you know, downstairs.
- 17:36SPEAKER_01: We went all the way up to the attic and then just kind of worked our way down, you know.
- 17:43SPEAKER_04: Go ahead.
- 17:44SPEAKER_01: I was saying that's the only thing about the public hunts.
- 17:47SPEAKER_01: I mean, they're fun, but I'm trying to get kind of away from that and just get more just the private.
- 17:52SPEAKER_01: I just just because you don't know what you're picking up, if that's someone talking, you know, the floor above you or whatever, you know.
- 17:59SPEAKER_04: So but I will give props to trans Allegheny though.
- 18:04SPEAKER_04: Public hunt-wise, probably the best.
- 18:07SPEAKER_04: Because they do 10 people per floor, and you have so much freedom there.
- 18:13SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you give a little tour, then you go off on your own for two or three hours, and do the next floor.
- 18:17SPEAKER_04: You guys everybody switch.
- 18:19SPEAKER_04: I always tell people that place is pretty ridiculous to rent out privately.
- 18:24SPEAKER_04: Too bad if you have a good group, right?
- 18:27SPEAKER_04: But just to go do want to do a public hunt in any famous place, turns out you have to be it because you can still do investigation.
- 18:37SPEAKER_04: I've been to Mansfield, not a fan.
- 18:41SPEAKER_03: Oh, okay.
- 18:42SPEAKER_04: Way too many people.
- 18:44SPEAKER_04: I mean, they just seem to jam.
- 18:45SPEAKER_04: Maybe they change, it's been like 14 years, but they jam so many people in there, and it's just an open prison.
- 18:54SPEAKER_04: So you're still great on a sixth, and you're gonna hear somewhat all the way down at the end.
- 19:00SPEAKER_04: Whole history again, it was great to go there, see the history.
- 19:06SPEAKER_04: Sign us up for Bethany.
- 19:08SPEAKER_04: What is Bethany?
- 19:10SPEAKER_01: Oh, Bethany, um, West Virginia.
- 19:13SPEAKER_01: That's not far from me.
- 19:14SPEAKER_01: That you'll have to look into that.
- 19:16SPEAKER_01: It's uh an old really old college tour.
- 19:22SPEAKER_04: That's still active, like still college, isn't it?
- 19:26SPEAKER_04: Oh, we might lose you.
- 19:28SPEAKER_01: Oh, can you hear me?
- 19:29SPEAKER_04: I can hear you.
- 19:30SPEAKER_04: I don't see you though.
- 19:31SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
- 19:36SPEAKER_04: This is our audio part of the podcast.
- 19:39SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
- 19:40SPEAKER_04: No, I'm joking.
- 19:41SPEAKER_00: Can you can you see me now?
- 19:43SPEAKER_04: No, I cannot see you at all.
- 19:44SPEAKER_00: Oh, wow, okay.
- 19:47SPEAKER_01: Um I can see me and I can see you, but I don't know how to fix that.
- 19:57SPEAKER_01: Well, um but yeah, Bethany is a it's an old college town, has a lot of history.
- 20:03SPEAKER_01: Um we've been notified of some you know haunted farm out there.
- 20:08SPEAKER_01: So that's that that's a private property that we did talk with them about coming out and checking things out.
- 20:14SPEAKER_04: So cemetery in town, that's super old.
- 20:22SPEAKER_04: So what do you think about cemeteries?
- 20:24SPEAKER_04: Haunted, not haunted.
- 20:26SPEAKER_01: Um I I I could go either way with those.
- 20:31SPEAKER_01: I l absolutely love cemeteries, and I'll go and take my stuff.
- 20:35SPEAKER_01: Um we there was one in Call Yours, West Virginia, that we took the spirit box to, and we were getting some pretty good responses with that.
- 20:44SPEAKER_01: But I I don't know.
- 20:45SPEAKER_01: I mean, if I guess it depends on if spirits get to choose where they want to be.
- 20:51SPEAKER_01: I you know, I don't know that I would want to hang out in the cemetery if I was no longer here, but you know, I don't know.
- 21:02SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I'm not a huge believer in cemeteries being haunted.
- 21:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 21:06SPEAKER_04: Um again, I don't think when I pass, I'm gonna hang out at a cemetery.
- 21:12SPEAKER_01: Right, yeah.
- 21:14SPEAKER_01: There are places I'd rather be.
- 21:16SPEAKER_04: Um, I guess there's a really old one by us, about 25 minutes away.
- 21:21SPEAKER_04: The one girl I know said that we gotta go investigate that.
- 21:24SPEAKER_04: So try to prove me wrong, I guess, which I'm fine with.
- 21:29SPEAKER_04: I'm always good for that.
- 21:33SPEAKER_04: Um comments, comments, comments here.
- 21:35SPEAKER_04: Anybody else got any questions?
- 21:39SPEAKER_04: When there's eight of you on, you gotta someone has to have a question.
- 21:45SPEAKER_04: I I'll ask one.
- 21:47SPEAKER_04: Bucket list place.
- 21:50SPEAKER_01: Oh bucketless place, probably, and it's not too far, but Waverly Hills for me.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's that's my dream, I think.
- 22:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 22:06SPEAKER_01: What about you?
- 22:09SPEAKER_04: Uh Leaf Castle, Ireland.
- 22:11SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 22:12SPEAKER_04: That's I was I'm part artist, so wanna go over there.
- 22:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:18SPEAKER_04: But no, I mean I heard Waverly Hills.
- 22:22SPEAKER_04: I I believe they're doing a lot better job.
- 22:24SPEAKER_04: I heard they were kind of like Manso back in the day where it's just too many people.
- 22:28SPEAKER_04: So a lot of like you don't know who's talking, what you got, but it kind of seems like the last few years they've been doing a lot better of spreading people out.
- 22:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:37SPEAKER_04: And I haven't looked at that place to run that privately.
- 22:41SPEAKER_04: So I don't know how much that would cost.
- 22:43unknown: Yeah.
- 22:44SPEAKER_04: Again, if you got enough groups to go, they'd be worth it.
- 22:50unknown: Yeah.
- 22:51SPEAKER_04: And if you guys, if you guys do trans Allegheny, just get 10 people to go.
- 22:56SPEAKER_04: Then you'll have the floor to yourself.
- 22:59SPEAKER_04: It's the best way to do it.
- 23:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 23:02SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 23:04SPEAKER_01: Do you let a lot of other people who aren't part of your group come with you on, like, let's say it's like your friend or something who's not, do you do you have them come with you sometimes to investigate?
- 23:15SPEAKER_04: Uh so my group is like seven, eight people.
- 23:19SPEAKER_04: Um it's pretty shrunk down, they're still part of the group, but I've been doing more on my own.
- 23:28SPEAKER_04: Like it's just family, kids, everything else.
- 23:33SPEAKER_04: It's we can't seem to line up everything.
- 23:37SPEAKER_04: So I kind of just been hanging out with other groups, like Verona Ghost Chasers, RC Paranormal.
- 23:44SPEAKER_04: I've done investigations with them, 27 Spirits, Omni Paranormal.
- 23:49SPEAKER_04: So, and I kind of enjoy it because you get different perspectives.
- 23:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 23:55SPEAKER_04: And I have not run into any groups that I'm like, what am I doing?
- 23:58SPEAKER_01: Right, that's good.
- 24:00SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's that it's scary when you're like RC Paranormal.
- 24:04SPEAKER_04: We emailed for like a year, finally we did Madison, and I was like, I was supposed to have two of my group members come, they backed out, so it was just me and two of them.
- 24:17SPEAKER_04: That was it.
- 24:17SPEAKER_04: So we had three people, all a Madison seminary.
- 24:22SPEAKER_04: And Chris was awesome.
- 24:24SPEAKER_04: Like they just Chris and Rochelle were just awesome, and we had such a good time, whole place to ourselves, three people.
- 24:32SPEAKER_04: Little more expensive, but it's worth it.
- 24:35SPEAKER_04: And it was funny because I was listening to recordings, and Chris is like, Hey, I just want to tell you, you're pretty cool.
- 24:43SPEAKER_04: Like, I was very worried.
- 24:45SPEAKER_04: Like, I was very I'm like, so was I.
- 24:47SPEAKER_04: I'm like, I don't know you guys.
- 24:49SPEAKER_04: I don't know if you're gonna be running around screaming the whole time or whatever.
- 24:53SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 24:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 24:55SPEAKER_01: That's the thing about you know, if you you you you gotta know that they're gonna be on the same level with you as far as how you go about things and interacting, and you like you said, not screaming and running and all that stuff.
- 25:09SPEAKER_04: So yeah, I mean you're you're spending, you know, if you're doing it solo, 100, 200 bucks, you know, whatever it is, with another group, you'd hate to go there and it'd just be a terrible time.
- 25:23SPEAKER_04: And I haven't had it.
- 25:24SPEAKER_04: Every group I've been with has been great.
- 25:26SPEAKER_04: That's why we're doing the fellowship of the spirits.
- 25:29SPEAKER_04: And uh go from there.
- 25:31SPEAKER_04: I mean, yeah.
- 25:33SPEAKER_04: Do you work with other groups or just your dad and your friend?
- 25:35SPEAKER_01: Or yeah, I have not yet.
- 25:37SPEAKER_01: Um, I, you know, definitely in the future would like to, um, but no, not yet.
- 25:42SPEAKER_01: Um, and I do have a new uh not a new friend, but a new person who is my friend coming with us on this next one.
- 25:48SPEAKER_01: So I'm I'm looking forward to that too.
- 25:50SPEAKER_01: And if she's gonna she's gonna fit in good, she's getting equipment and all that stuff.
- 25:54SPEAKER_01: So um that'll be that'll be good.
- 25:57SPEAKER_04: No, I think it's important like to work with other groups because you get to learn different techniques of what to do and what not to do.
- 26:06SPEAKER_04: I mean, honestly, we watch ghost adventures to learn what not to do in paranormal investigation.
- 26:13SPEAKER_04: But as we said before, equipment is expensive.
- 26:17SPEAKER_04: So working with others, these other groups, they have certain equipment that you know, four or five hundred bucks, you might get able to try out and see it worked, and it might not be for you.
- 26:27SPEAKER_04: You just say four or five hundred dollars, so right, yeah.
- 26:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm all about learning from other groups, that's for sure.
- 26:35SPEAKER_01: Um that's what I'm always looking to see what other people are getting or doing or using, or yeah, I think that's people's biggest thing is they're worried about bringing something home with them.
- 26:42SPEAKER_01: That's I I hear that a lot too.
- 26:45SPEAKER_04: So many people are scared of that.
- 26:47SPEAKER_04: Like, I don't they watch too many movies, but I honestly, you know, I'm kind of an asshole.
- 26:56SPEAKER_04: No one wants to come home with me.
- 26:58SPEAKER_04: I'll be honest with you.
- 26:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 27:02SPEAKER_01: I just I do a little feel about you gotta stay here, you know.
- 27:05SPEAKER_01: I'm I'm not interested in bringing you home with me.
- 27:08SPEAKER_04: But I mean, majority of the spirits are at that place because they want to be there, or they're stuck there or trapped there.
- 27:18SPEAKER_04: You know, they always say spirits go to where they're most comfortable, or you know, tragedy happened.
- 27:22SPEAKER_04: So I I really don't I think it's rare if a spirit is going to attach itself to you.
- 27:29SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I mean, I I do believe that some of its energy could attach itself to you.
- 27:36SPEAKER_04: That makes sense.
- 27:39SPEAKER_04: You can bring that energy home, but I don't think the spirit itself is like following you around telling you to do bad stuff.
- 27:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 27:47SPEAKER_01: I think it depends on how you know vulnerable and stuff you are too.
- 27:52SPEAKER_01: Um I went and saw they had Annabelle, they brought her to the West Virginia Penitentiary, and I went and saw her there, and I was the only one in my group that was willing to go up and you know, go up close to the glass.
- 28:04SPEAKER_01: Everyone else was standing back away from her.
- 28:08SPEAKER_04: But isn't it amazing how people are scared of a doll?
- 28:12SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 28:12SPEAKER_01: I mean, the people were just absolutely terrified.
- 28:16SPEAKER_01: I mean, I basically had my, you know, I didn't touch the glass, but I basically had my face up against the glass.
- 28:20SPEAKER_01: I was like all, you know, all up in there trying to see everything, and just you know, and and they had a Catholic priest there, so if people wanted to be blessed before they left and all that stuff, it was a huge production, but um I don't know.
- 28:34SPEAKER_01: I wasn't worried, I guess.
- 28:36SPEAKER_04: Again, you're going with positive energy and you don't open yourself up.
- 28:42SPEAKER_04: I think you're fine.
- 28:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, absolutely.
- 28:46SPEAKER_04: So, do you like sage yourself and stuff?
- 28:48SPEAKER_04: I always ask that to everybody.
- 28:50SPEAKER_04: Like, what is your protection?
- 28:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I I don't.
- 28:55SPEAKER_01: Um, I take I I have my great-grandmother's rosary that I take.
- 29:01SPEAKER_01: Um, and I have we've spent it a summer out in Arizona.
- 29:08SPEAKER_01: I have these uh Native American protection beaves, I throw those in there.
- 29:13SPEAKER_01: Um, but I just basically it's just I I don't know.
- 29:17SPEAKER_01: I think being strong mentally and protecting yourself from anything attaching to you and just knowing, like, hey, you know, you're staying here, vocalizing that, and I feel fine, I feel safe, I don't feel like I'm bringing anything home with me.
- 29:32SPEAKER_01: I just whatever's there, I just leave it there and I feel fine.
- 29:35SPEAKER_01: Maybe I should be saging myself.
- 29:36SPEAKER_01: I don't know, but I don't.
- 29:38SPEAKER_04: I mean, I don't.
- 29:40SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I don't believe in crystals.
- 29:43SPEAKER_04: Um, I don't believe in saging.
- 29:45SPEAKER_04: I believe my faith and positive attitude, I guess, energy is what protects me.
- 29:52SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 29:53SPEAKER_00: So yeah, I'm the same way.
- 29:55SPEAKER_04: Uh Katie asks, what is your favorite piece of equipment?
- 29:57SPEAKER_04: We went over that little before.
- 29:59SPEAKER_04: I mean, I think we're both in agreement.
- 30:01SPEAKER_04: Digital recorder.
- 30:03SPEAKER_04: I mean, that's just it's the go-to.
- 30:06SPEAKER_04: The one thing that sucks about the digital recorder though, is your evidence you find out two weeks later.
- 30:12SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 30:13unknown: Yeah.
- 30:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 30:14SPEAKER_01: Cause I'm always trying to listen to it the next the next day, and I'm, you know, still fatigued and I'm like falling asleep, and I'm like, okay, I'll I'll come back to this a different day.
- 30:23SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 30:25SPEAKER_04: But it's there's nothing like a good EVP.
- 30:28SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
- 30:30SPEAKER_04: I love it.
- 30:30SPEAKER_01: So we got a really good EVP in in Mount at the penitentiary, like a really good one.
- 30:37SPEAKER_04: Did you post that?
- 30:39SPEAKER_01: Um, I think I did.
- 30:41SPEAKER_01: It was it would have been back in August, probably, but yeah, I did.
- 30:46SPEAKER_04: I'll have to go back and look.
- 30:47SPEAKER_04: Yeah, but most of my posts are this podcast.
- 30:51SPEAKER_04: Um I'm trying to get I've been going back through my videos and putting stuff out there.
- 30:55SPEAKER_04: So because I don't know.
- 30:59SPEAKER_04: That's what people want to see.
- 31:00SPEAKER_04: So that's what I do.
- 31:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 31:02SPEAKER_04: I mean, we've had some cool EVPs.
- 31:04SPEAKER_04: We've had, I'm terrible at filming.
- 31:08SPEAKER_04: I always forget.
- 31:09SPEAKER_04: I'm terrible at bringing a flashlight.
- 31:12SPEAKER_04: Um, when I get to a place, I'm like recorder and go type of person.
- 31:18SPEAKER_04: I have been doing a lot more Facebook lives just so people can kind of you know see what we're doing.
- 31:27SPEAKER_04: But the one thing I always do every place we go to, I send someone in solo before before we do anything, tours.
- 31:37SPEAKER_04: I don't we don't do tours, but when if we are going to do a tour, someone needs to go in solo first.
- 31:44SPEAKER_04: And you're not investigating, you're just walking around, getting a feeling.
- 31:49SPEAKER_04: But they'll do Facebook Live to give people who've never been there the opportunity to see the place.
- 31:55SPEAKER_04: I think it's pretty cool.
- 31:57SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and if they get a feeling like in a room, just take a mental note of that room, like uh kind of feels dark in here, then we'll go investigate that later, right?
- 32:06SPEAKER_04: So um, I surprised my brother on his second investigation ever at Bill Manor.
- 32:14SPEAKER_04: Um, we're standing outside, and I'm like, hey, we're Facebook Live.
- 32:17SPEAKER_04: Guess what?
- 32:17SPEAKER_04: My brother's going in solo.
- 32:21SPEAKER_04: And he was like, What the hell?
- 32:23SPEAKER_04: And he did it.
- 32:24SPEAKER_04: I mean, he was scared, but he did it.
- 32:27SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I took him there for his first investigation.
- 32:31SPEAKER_04: It's just me and him, and we had a really good time, a lot of activity.
- 32:36SPEAKER_04: He was scared.
- 32:39SPEAKER_04: Uh yeah, Katie.
- 32:41SPEAKER_04: Okay, so that's a good good question.
- 32:43SPEAKER_04: I never asked.
- 32:44SPEAKER_04: Um, one person or I want to say group that you would love to do an investigation with.
- 32:54SPEAKER_01: Oh boy.
- 32:57SPEAKER_01: I I really, I really don't know a particular group.
- 33:04SPEAKER_01: There's a lot of groups that I follow closely and I see what they're doing.
- 33:11SPEAKER_01: And so there's there's a lot, honestly, because I just I want to learn.
- 33:14SPEAKER_01: So um, I don't know that I have a particular group.
- 33:18SPEAKER_01: I don't.
- 33:18SPEAKER_01: There's there's several.
- 33:20SPEAKER_04: Do you ever watch TV?
- 33:21SPEAKER_04: Be like it'd be cool to investigate with them.
- 33:23SPEAKER_01: Well, yeah, I mean, I I I was grew up on, you know, Ghost Hunter.
- 33:30SPEAKER_01: So obviously Grant would be like, yeah, I love Grant.
- 33:32SPEAKER_01: Um but um even my my 11-year-old daughter, she she watches it with me, and yeah, she she likes Grant too.
- 33:39SPEAKER_01: We we trust Grant, you know, so um I guess that would be a dream, but yeah, Grant's cool.
- 33:49SPEAKER_04: Um for me, I've never so I would love to there's two, so I'd love to do investigation with Cindy.
- 34:02SPEAKER_04: I think she's cool, I think she does all good stuff, but like the dream, if I'm gonna go to a place and do an investigation, it had to be the Ghost Brothers.
- 34:12SPEAKER_04: Okay, they're just they seem to have fun, but they're still serious, and I think it'd just be a fun time.
- 34:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 34:21SPEAKER_04: Me personally, yeah.
- 34:24SPEAKER_04: I mean Nick Gross, Grant, they're all fun, but yeah, those would be good.
- 34:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, not Zach Begin.
- 34:34SPEAKER_01: That would be a big no.
- 34:36SPEAKER_04: So this is gonna get cut out of audio, but I'll tell you a quick story.
- 34:39SPEAKER_04: As a trans Allegheny, every time I go to a famous place, I ask who's your favorite group that's ever come through here.
- 34:45SPEAKER_04: They said well, first time it was Ghost Brothers.
- 34:50SPEAKER_04: Second time I went there, they said Ghost Zach is not who he portrays himself as in real life.
- 35:01SPEAKER_04: He's actually pretty laid back.
- 35:04SPEAKER_04: Will go around the town without a camera and just talk to people.
- 35:08SPEAKER_00: Interesting.
- 35:09SPEAKER_04: They said the worst, Jason Hawes.
- 35:14SPEAKER_00: Really?
- 35:15SPEAKER_04: They said they're divas.
- 35:17SPEAKER_04: It could have changed.
- 35:18SPEAKER_04: I don't want to throw this out there.
- 35:20SPEAKER_00: Oh, interesting.
- 35:21SPEAKER_04: Not that Jason's ever gonna watch my podcast with my 1500 followers.
- 35:25SPEAKER_04: You never know, but you never know, Jason.
- 35:28SPEAKER_04: This this is hearsay, just in case you aren't watching.
- 35:32SPEAKER_04: Um and you know, hey, come on and prove me wrong.
- 35:38SPEAKER_04: They said they're divas.
- 35:41SPEAKER_01: Interesting.
- 35:42SPEAKER_01: I would not have guessed that.
- 35:43SPEAKER_04: No, like he they have to have certain bottled water, um stare at them and are like stall struck, you're out.
- 35:52SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 35:55SPEAKER_04: So kind of it kind of threw me off, but I know Zach is Zach is big on not promoting anybody but himself, though.
- 36:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, interesting.
- 36:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I um whenever they had Annabelle there, I got to meet Ryan Buell, and he I didn't know what to expect, but he was honestly very, very nice.
- 36:18SPEAKER_01: He was great.
- 36:19SPEAKER_04: Where's where's he from?
- 36:21SPEAKER_01: He was from the show Paranormal State, and he's the one who worked with the Warrens.
- 36:28SPEAKER_01: Um, and he yeah, he was great, and he really was.
- 36:33SPEAKER_04: Was he the main guy at Paranormal State?
- 36:35SPEAKER_01: He was, yeah.
- 36:36SPEAKER_04: Yeah, see, I I love I love that show, but yeah, it was great.
- 36:42SPEAKER_04: Um, chip coffee, obviously.
- 36:44SPEAKER_04: Okay, I would love the best game with Chip Coffee.
- 36:46SPEAKER_01: Chip would be a good one.
- 36:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah, chip would be a good one.
- 36:49SPEAKER_04: Um, but like there's so much when that show got cancelled or whatever, like it was all fake, and you know, and I'm like, I had a hard time believing it.
- 36:58SPEAKER_04: It was a good show, yeah, yeah.
- 37:00SPEAKER_01: It was, yeah.
- 37:01SPEAKER_01: Ryan, he was very, very nice, very kind.
- 37:04SPEAKER_04: And he like disappeared for years, like, and now he's coming back in the limelight, which is cool.
- 37:10SPEAKER_04: Yeah, hopefully does something.
- 37:12SPEAKER_04: Um damn, now we're just talking about people.
- 37:14SPEAKER_04: Jack Osborne, I think, would be cool.
- 37:16SPEAKER_01: Oh, that would be a good one too.
- 37:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah, man.
- 37:20SPEAKER_04: He seems like to have a good time.
- 37:22SPEAKER_04: All right, well, we're done with that stuff.
- 37:25SPEAKER_04: It's it's hard talking to you when you're just a black screen.
- 37:28SPEAKER_00: So oh yeah, you still can't see me, huh?
- 37:30SPEAKER_04: Oh gosh.
- 37:31SPEAKER_04: No, either can what paranormal said that he can't see you either.
- 37:34SPEAKER_00: So okay.
- 37:35SPEAKER_04: But we're our 30 minutes into this, like I said.
- 37:39SPEAKER_04: Um, so we'll wrap this up again.
- 37:41SPEAKER_04: I appreciate you coming on.
- 37:44SPEAKER_01: Um, thank you so much for having me.
- 37:46SPEAKER_01: This has been so much fun.
- 37:47SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and that first first podcast got out of the way.
- 37:50SPEAKER_04: Plenty more to come.
- 37:51SPEAKER_04: I'm sure there'll be other people asking you.
- 37:54SPEAKER_04: Everybody follow Devin on all social medias.
- 37:57SPEAKER_04: Do you have a YouTube also?
- 37:59SPEAKER_01: No, not yet.
- 38:00SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna be working on that though.
- 38:01SPEAKER_04: Okay, so follow her Facebook when YouTube's up, follow down.
- 38:04SPEAKER_04: Great videos out there, great evidence.
