Transcript
- 0:11Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to Pink Shade. It's Thursday, and that
- 0:15Speaker 1: means I'm gonna be covering pop culture and Bravo. It's
- 0:18Speaker 1: an episode we call Pop and Bravo. And today I've
- 0:21Speaker 1: got Corey and Carly from Surviving Reality Pod. Look, guys,
- 0:25Speaker 1: there they are. They're on the screen. If you're watching
- 0:27Speaker 1: on you Hey guys, so you guys cover on Surviving Reality.
- 0:34Speaker 1: I know you're big Sister Wives people, so now is
- 0:38Speaker 1: your time to shine. Sister Wives are back.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Yes, yes, our super Bowl.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Well yeah, whether we want it or not, it's yeah,
- 0:47Speaker 3: it happens every year.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Not just as on.
- 0:50Speaker 2: We have Special Forces with Cody, so we're also covering
- 0:54Speaker 2: that over on and he's still there.
- 0:56Speaker 1: He's still there. He hasn't dropped out.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Yeah, so we're still We're gonna have an episode coming
- 1:01Speaker 2: out tonight. So it's Thursday night at nine pm. Special
- 1:05Speaker 2: Forces is on. We're on week three. Week three, so
- 1:09Speaker 2: he survived three weeks so far, three days in the
- 1:12Speaker 2: time of the show.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, which I mean is pretty promising. It was
- 1:17Speaker 3: further than we thought he was going to get. I mean,
- 1:19Speaker 3: we were giving him two or three episodes in total.
- 1:23Speaker 2: But it seems like he's doing better. He's doing better
- 1:27Speaker 2: than everyone originally thought.
- 1:28Speaker 4: Better than we thought. His hair isn't doing better though,
- 1:31Speaker 4: Well it's getting wet, it's getting dry, it's not doing well.
- 1:37Speaker 1: So my understanding, I'm understanding. Britney Cartwright was on is
- 1:41Speaker 1: she left immediately and then immediately and Teresa Judae is on.
- 1:47Speaker 1: She's gone up until last week.
- 1:50Speaker 3: So she was looking for an out basically, and what
- 1:54Speaker 3: was her out?
- 1:56Speaker 2: So there was a challenge where they had to fight
- 2:00Speaker 2: another person on the show and Gia was called up
- 2:03Speaker 2: first and she didn't want to.
- 2:05Speaker 3: So they were putting on boxing gloves. It was like
- 2:08Speaker 3: a sparring. They called it a milling thing. I guess,
- 2:11Speaker 3: I don't know, but yeah, it.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Was basically like she's gonna get punched, she was.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Gonna fight somebody. Yeah, she was gonna have to hit
- 2:17Speaker 3: and be hit. And Teresa was like, I can't watch this,
- 2:22Speaker 3: and that was when she quit. So it was kind
- 2:24Speaker 3: of a strange time to drop out, especially when Gia
- 2:28Speaker 3: has voiced like her biggest trauma in her life was
- 2:31Speaker 3: when her parents had to go away to prison, and
- 2:35Speaker 3: so there was like a level of abandonment that's kind
- 2:38Speaker 3: of in there, so then to be in this challenge
- 2:42Speaker 3: mode and then have your mom essentially abandon you in
- 2:46Speaker 3: that moment, it was kind of triggering for her. So yeah,
- 2:51Speaker 3: maybe not the best time.
- 2:52Speaker 2: She's still there, so Gia still hanging in, holding out wow,
- 2:57Speaker 2: and they're not on as like teams, there's separate contents essence.
- 3:01Speaker 1: But she said, I can't watch GA fight, so I'm
- 3:04Speaker 1: going to leave the show.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Well, Teresa's reasoning was, I can't watch ge again in
- 3:09Speaker 3: a fight because I'll want to jump in, and so
- 3:12Speaker 3: that was the excuse. But to be honest, like earlier
- 3:16Speaker 3: in the episode.
- 3:18Speaker 2: There was a lot of a good time, There was
- 3:20Speaker 2: a lot of stairs.
- 3:21Speaker 3: She was already thinking about quitting at that point like
- 3:24Speaker 3: earlier on, so this just seemed like it was kind
- 3:28Speaker 3: of inevitable, and then it just happened to coincide with
- 3:31Speaker 3: this other challenge.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Does anybody get voted off this show? Or you just
- 3:35Speaker 1: try to make it to the end.
- 3:37Speaker 2: So they can be told that they need to leave
- 3:40Speaker 2: for various reasons, Eva, who was on America's Next Top Model,
- 3:45Speaker 2: had to leave in the last episode because they felt
- 3:48Speaker 2: like she couldn't mentally handle being there anymore. Because she
- 3:52Speaker 2: had something that happened and kind of shook her up
- 3:54Speaker 2: and made her afraid for her safety honestly, and the challenges.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, so she had to leave.
- 3:59Speaker 2: You could be asked to because you don't I guess
- 4:01Speaker 2: follow directions properly and you're becoming a safety hazard to
- 4:05Speaker 2: yourself for other people. But there's no like, no one
- 4:08Speaker 2: else who's on the show can vote you out.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like the drill sergeants, the staff that's there,
- 4:14Speaker 3: or like you can be medically tapped out basically if
- 4:17Speaker 3: you're unable to continue due to an injury or anything.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Like that, which is what we're guessing will eventually happen
- 4:23Speaker 2: to Cody. I don't think he gets through this whole
- 4:26Speaker 2: time without having some type of injury.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Okay, it's who else on the show? Who else is
- 4:33Speaker 1: on the show? I don't think I knew Geo was
- 4:35Speaker 1: on it.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Well, I think those were all the Bravo people right
- 4:39Speaker 2: for the most I think she's the last one remaining.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Yeah, John, Yeah, there's like x NFL players, Okay, some
- 4:50Speaker 3: x NBA. I I don't really watch basketball or football.
- 4:54Speaker 3: That's why I do reality TV podcasts though, But like,
- 5:00Speaker 3: no hockey players this season.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Sean Johnson and her husband are on it. I'm trying
- 5:06Speaker 2: to think any other big names.
- 5:07Speaker 3: Jesse, Smilette Muller. Jesse has been at the bottom of
- 5:11Speaker 3: our list. We have like a running of bracketology, which
- 5:14Speaker 3: is basically like fantasy sports for reality TV stuff. Yeah,
- 5:18Speaker 3: so we have a bracket going for specifically for special Forces.
- 5:24Speaker 3: Jesse is at the bottom of our list.
- 5:26Speaker 4: We're expecting him to leave.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Next Okay, okay, well I listen. I'll just listen to
- 5:31Speaker 1: you guys, because I'm not going to watch this. I'm
- 5:33Speaker 1: not gonna watch this show. Once Brittany left, I was like,
- 5:36Speaker 1: I have no reason to watch it. I was only
- 5:38Speaker 1: gonna watch her and be like, I don't want to
- 5:39Speaker 1: jump out this air blanket. Jacks is mean to me.
- 5:42Speaker 4: You know that would have got you about twenty minutes.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Then into the first episode or so, she didn't last
- 5:48Speaker 3: very long out oh.
- 5:50Speaker 2: No, by the way, and she was like, I don't
- 5:54Speaker 2: think I can make it the rest of the way
- 5:55Speaker 2: because they had to run back to camp. She wasn't
- 5:58Speaker 2: even out of breath, like she seemed like she was
- 6:00Speaker 2: doing okay. She just I really think she decides she
- 6:02Speaker 2: just didn't want to do the show. She got in
- 6:04Speaker 2: her own first experience.
- 6:05Speaker 3: Like she got in her own head about it too,
- 6:07Speaker 3: where she was like, oh, I just didn't want to
- 6:09Speaker 3: be the first one to leave, and then she was
- 6:12Speaker 3: I knew I would be the first one to leave.
- 6:13Speaker 3: And it's like, well, if you're kind of if you're
- 6:15Speaker 3: telling yourself you were going to be the first person
- 6:18Speaker 3: to leave, and then you are the first person to leave.
- 6:21Speaker 4: How surprised are you.
- 6:23Speaker 1: My understanding is from that show that they get all
- 6:26Speaker 1: get paid the same amount, no matter what. So that's
- 6:30Speaker 1: what if you got your money. You got your money
- 6:33Speaker 1: is if you really can't take it, go ahead and leave.
- 6:34Speaker 1: But maybe if you make it to the end, maybe
- 6:37Speaker 1: they give you a little bonus, but you've already gotten
- 6:39Speaker 1: paid and you're like, I don't want to jump out
- 6:40Speaker 1: of an airplane. Bye bye. Yeah.
- 6:42Speaker 3: We kept feeing like Cody probably paid to be on
- 6:47Speaker 3: this season, like he needed to know, you know, where
- 6:52Speaker 3: to send the check because he was just excited about
- 6:55Speaker 3: the opportunity to rub elbows with the football players and
- 6:59Speaker 3: he loves him quarderback.
- 7:00Speaker 1: So how embarrassing, How embarrassing for Cody? Oh my god,
- 7:05Speaker 1: well is it. It's given the people that recap Sister
- 7:08Speaker 1: Wives a lot of extra material. So I'm really glad
- 7:13Speaker 1: for all of you that cover Sister Wise, I'm happy
- 7:15Speaker 1: for you as a fellow podcaster that you've got this
- 7:18Speaker 1: bonus material to cover regarding Cody and his hair. Now,
- 7:23Speaker 1: what else are you guys covering over on Surviving Reality.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Well, we just wrapped up Welcome to Platfell, and now
- 7:30Speaker 2: you're recapping Seeking Sister Wife.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Seeking Sister Amazing.
- 7:34Speaker 3: You would think there would be a lot of crossover
- 7:36Speaker 3: in that audience of like the Sister Wives fandom and
- 7:39Speaker 3: then Seeking Sister Wife. We're finding that it's not a
- 7:42Speaker 3: lot of It doesn't because like Sister Wives is very
- 7:48Speaker 3: like family following, you know, it's like the Brown family.
- 7:52Speaker 4: They like the characters of that.
- 7:54Speaker 3: Seeking Sister Wife is like kind of this weird.
- 7:59Speaker 1: This looks slap oh yeash, It's.
- 8:02Speaker 3: Like, yeah, like just the the underbelly of the process.
- 8:06Speaker 3: You're like seeing how the sausage is made a little
- 8:08Speaker 3: bit more and yeah, I mean like in that.
- 8:11Speaker 4: Sort of term.
- 8:12Speaker 3: Well, especially Garrick sausage, It's made every week and it
- 8:16Speaker 3: is very unpleasant.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Every other night. Every other night Who's going to change
- 8:21Speaker 1: the sheets? That was the conversation this week, and I
- 8:25Speaker 1: was like, not any other you know, Polygama situation we've
- 8:29Speaker 1: ever seen on any of these shows that we cover.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Does the demand stay in one spot and the women
- 8:36Speaker 1: have to rotate to him? It's so crazy.
- 8:41Speaker 2: How Derek changes the sheets? Right, how about that be
- 8:44Speaker 2: his responsibility.
- 8:45Speaker 3: If it's his room, he should make that, you know,
- 8:50Speaker 3: ready for the next wife.
- 8:52Speaker 4: Then who comes?
- 8:52Speaker 1: Is there a break night? Because there's seven nights in
- 8:55Speaker 1: the week, so you think they each take three and
- 8:57Speaker 1: then on the seventh night they rest. But just like, yeah, yeah,
- 9:03Speaker 1: just like. But then Danielle and Lorena now are sharing
- 9:07Speaker 1: that sister room, which I think Danielle thinks it's like
- 9:10Speaker 1: the summer camp she never.
- 9:11Speaker 4: Got to go to.
- 9:12Speaker 1: She's so excited they must have.
- 9:14Speaker 2: A night where they get to spend the night together.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Not in that way, well you know what I mean.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Although I don't know, do you think that maybe Danielle
- 9:21Speaker 2: has seemed interested before? Yeah, and some of the earlier robertas.
- 9:26Speaker 5: Roberta number number two and she was trying to smooch
- 9:30Speaker 5: on because she had her own like sister wife Clauda
- 9:36Speaker 5: ring sort of engagement proposal that took place.
- 9:40Speaker 4: And then she leaned in and then it was like yeah.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, that's right. Yeah
- 9:46Speaker 1: Bert too, she did try to kiss I forgot about that.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Yeah, she's controlling herself a little better this season.
- 9:54Speaker 3: I forgot it was her birthday too, I mean, Garrek
- 9:56Speaker 3: always forgets when it's her birthday.
- 9:58Speaker 4: But like to bring to number.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Three here on your birthday, Danielle's birthday, and to like
- 10:05Speaker 3: re cast kind of that they had a bad experience
- 10:12Speaker 3: on Danielle's birthday a few years ago because the engagement
- 10:16Speaker 3: to reverted number two.
- 10:18Speaker 4: Didn't pan out.
- 10:19Speaker 3: So trying to like, you have to reinforce.
- 10:21Speaker 4: It, get great history, the better.
- 10:24Speaker 3: Experiences here to push away those bad emotions instead, y'all.
- 10:30Speaker 1: I'm here to tell you again about my obsession with

- 14:11Speaker 1: I don't know at least Nick is Nick Davis of
- 14:16Speaker 1: Seeking Sister wife is out there saying things like, listen,
- 14:18Speaker 1: I think very highly of myself and I think I'm
- 14:21Speaker 1: the smartest man in the world, So I am I
- 14:23Speaker 1: do try to tamp it down and don't assume people
- 14:26Speaker 1: like me. I was like, okay, that's slightly self aware, Nick.
- 14:31Speaker 1: You know, with Teresa at the News, I.
- 14:33Speaker 2: Was surprised with that. Yeah, I think he's a little
- 14:36Speaker 2: afraid of Teresa. Think, what do you think?
- 14:38Speaker 1: What do you think When she picked him up and
- 14:40Speaker 1: spun him around, She's showed who was in charge.
- 14:43Speaker 3: The twirling just an effortless too, by.
- 14:47Speaker 2: The way, like a rag doll.
- 14:49Speaker 1: He laughed and laughed.
- 14:52Speaker 3: Yeah, he just got up and was kicking his feet
- 14:54Speaker 3: and stuff too. So it was just yeah, he was
- 14:56Speaker 3: very excited about it. And then in the hot tub
- 14:58Speaker 3: later too. It's just it's all legs. There's just like
- 15:02Speaker 3: limbs everywhere, and it's like, wow, this is this is happening.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Who do you think changes the sheets in the boom
- 15:08Speaker 1: Boom room?
- 15:10Speaker 4: That is a team effort.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Right, the beds so well, the boom Boom Room. Oh,
- 15:14Speaker 2: the boom Boom that's a regular size bed.
- 15:17Speaker 3: Yeah, because it's the it has to be a group
- 15:19Speaker 3: project for the sleeping bed because that thing is a
- 15:23Speaker 3: mile wide.
- 15:24Speaker 1: So yeah, they had to get custom sheets. Yes, yeah,
- 15:29Speaker 1: Boom Boom room probably is just once a week, just
- 15:34Speaker 1: whoever's turn it is. They're not trying to.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Go between worried about it.
- 15:38Speaker 3: It's like it's like this mushroom on Jersey Shore. It's
- 15:41Speaker 3: just kind of.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Like maybe it usually has no sheets, usually has.
- 15:45Speaker 4: No sheets, and then like.
- 15:47Speaker 3: You're going to clean it if you're planning to use it,
- 15:50Speaker 3: but like if it's a spur of the moment thing,
- 15:52Speaker 3: it's just kind of it's.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Just a bear mattress with it.
- 15:58Speaker 4: All.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Right, let's talking about this now. You guys are watching
- 16:02Speaker 1: Salt Lake City, So I love that because I don't

- 17:12Speaker 1: well this was a banger episode of Salt Lake City.
- 17:15Speaker 1: I mean so much happened.
- 17:18Speaker 2: Yes, yes, and we got another I feel like classic
- 17:22Speaker 2: line from Angie that's going to live an in for me.
- 17:25Speaker 2: French fries. You do French fries, I do franchise.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Yes, there were so I was like, which one because
- 17:32Speaker 1: she's so great now? It was really good and so
- 17:35Speaker 1: many different layers would you and I talk to I
- 17:37Speaker 1: was like, you guys, watch any other ones. I'm want
- 17:39Speaker 1: to take like a little bit of notes and you're
- 17:40Speaker 1: like no, I was like, yes, thank god. So, because
- 17:43Speaker 1: there was so much that happened in this episode, I
- 17:45Speaker 1: was like, I don't know how we would get to
- 17:46Speaker 1: all of it.
- 17:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:47Speaker 1: So we opened this episode with the dismissed Lawsuits luncheon
- 17:51Speaker 1: where everybody's yelling at each other and we just, oh,
- 17:56Speaker 1: I'm sorry. It was the clarity Luncheon.
- 17:59Speaker 2: That's what she fished named it. Okay, Well, everybody.
- 18:01Speaker 3: Needs to know Carly is a big defender of Lisa Barlow.
- 18:08Speaker 2: I'm a little bit of a Lisa Barlow.
- 18:09Speaker 3: Apologize Lisa Barlow and it's like, I get it.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Days are rough.
- 18:16Speaker 3: I gave her fair warning. I said this one. There's
- 18:20Speaker 3: a few episodes now where it's like it's going to
- 18:22Speaker 3: be a tough one to defend her on. And then
- 18:24Speaker 3: anytime she starts going in on the defense stance and
- 18:27Speaker 3: it's like, you gotta be careful because like, I don't
- 18:31Speaker 3: think this is gonna fly, but some stuff has been
- 18:34Speaker 3: making sense.
- 18:35Speaker 2: I was rough on her this week.
- 18:37Speaker 3: Rough on her this week, though, yes, fair enough.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Last week? Did you feel good about the gout dick
- 18:41Speaker 1: sucker slam that she thought was really going to hit
- 18:44Speaker 1: that didn't?
- 18:45Speaker 2: I felt so good about it. I think that she
- 18:47Speaker 2: had I think she paid so we know she has
- 18:49Speaker 2: many assistants, many attorneys, many people who work for her cybersecurity.
- 18:54Speaker 2: I do believe that she paid somebody in the off
- 18:57Speaker 2: season to go through old footage and come up with
- 19:00Speaker 2: some things that she could yell at people in random fights.
- 19:04Speaker 2: And that was one of them. I'm convinced.
- 19:07Speaker 1: But it didn't make any sense.
- 19:10Speaker 2: No, no, okay, I don't think she thought about it
- 19:13Speaker 2: that deeply. She just has a list and she's running down.
- 19:16Speaker 3: It right, Like she didn't double check the source material.
- 19:19Speaker 2: There was no editing done.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Yeah, it was just like whatever they put in front
- 19:23Speaker 3: of her, and she was like, okay, great, yeah, I'm
- 19:25Speaker 3: going to use these because We ran into that with
- 19:27Speaker 3: this episode too, where it was like some of the
- 19:30Speaker 3: stuff she was kind of throwing at Angie, where Angie's like,
- 19:32Speaker 3: I don't even know what you're talking about, Like, yeah, I.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Think if she would have said you sucked dick for
- 19:38Speaker 1: an old man that has gout, or you suck old
- 19:40Speaker 1: man dick, there's just lots of other ways, but gout
- 19:43Speaker 1: dick sucker just didn't didn't. Just sort of like when
- 19:47Speaker 1: she for you, no, It's like she was like Whitney
- 19:51Speaker 1: and Heather bad Weather and you're like, no, no, See.
- 19:58Speaker 2: That's why I enjoy what her though, because she she
- 20:02Speaker 2: is the epitome of a delusional housewife where she really
- 20:06Speaker 2: thinks she thinks she's doing a good job. Yeah, and
- 20:09Speaker 2: that's what makes it funny.
- 20:10Speaker 3: She thinks that is she though, well.
- 20:14Speaker 1: She's a good housewife and that we're talking about her
- 20:17Speaker 1: a lot. But you know, it's sort of like when
- 20:19Speaker 1: when she looked right at Heather Gay and said, you know,
- 20:22Speaker 1: my life is just different than you, like I'm just
- 20:24Speaker 1: it's it's a it's a i'm up here, you're down
- 20:26Speaker 1: here moment. You know, it's like I'm so much better
- 20:29Speaker 1: than you and that's just a really awful thing to
- 20:32Speaker 1: say to your friends.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I do big things, big things, big things.
- 20:38Speaker 1: I'm involved in everything. I'm partying with Ben Affleck. So
- 20:43Speaker 1: Ben Affleck's like, listen, I got a space open. J
- 20:46Speaker 1: Loo's Ben and Jen Affleck. Yeah, Ben and Engen and
- 20:49Speaker 1: also not related. So so the best the best part
- 20:53Speaker 1: of it was when Heather had to turn and explain
- 20:57Speaker 1: to Mary the discs that and you made, which was
- 21:00Speaker 1: you do French fries, I do franchise, And when Heather
- 21:04Speaker 1: turned it was and I was glad she did because
- 21:05Speaker 1: I didn't quite understand it either. And Mary goes, oh,
- 21:08Speaker 1: that's good, that's.
- 21:09Speaker 4: Good, that's good. Yeah, very impressive.
- 21:12Speaker 1: She was good.
- 21:12Speaker 3: She's learning though, Like that's what we've noticed with Angie
- 21:15Speaker 3: is I think they paired her with Mary because Mary's
- 21:18Speaker 3: very quick, very in the moment, and then like that
- 21:22Speaker 3: was what Angie needed work on, because Angie was good
- 21:25Speaker 3: in the confessionals, like afterwards she could do some one
- 21:29Speaker 3: liner stuff, but like in the moment, I think she
- 21:31Speaker 3: would get nervous, she would get flustered.
- 21:34Speaker 4: So like she's kind of come out of that. She's
- 21:36Speaker 4: finding her Yeah, her voice so to speak, I guess.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Well it was really good and I was really and
- 21:43Speaker 1: I'm just listen, I'm a Mary apologist. I don't care
- 21:46Speaker 1: how many people she swindled in that church. Like I
- 21:48Speaker 1: love Mary. I just think it's fine that she's a
- 21:52Speaker 1: cult leader. It's fine, Like I love her.
- 21:55Speaker 5: She is.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Wat's great now that she's back in she's back. Yeah,
- 22:00Speaker 1: she's really giving it to us. I hope she got
- 22:02Speaker 1: a raise. So then it seems like all of a sudden,
- 22:05Speaker 1: Lisa sort of like I just was, I'm sorry to everybody.
- 22:08Speaker 1: And then bron When comes in as sort of like
- 22:11Speaker 1: I am the voice of reason and you should not
- 22:13Speaker 1: have said this and this, and she's sort of but
- 22:15Speaker 1: by the way, don't forget that like last episode four
- 22:19Speaker 1: minutes before, Whitney went over and like physically touched Lisa,
- 22:23Speaker 1: who like hit her.
- 22:24Speaker 4: We were napkin in her face.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Now we've just forgotten all about that. It's like, whoa, wow,
- 22:31Speaker 1: I mean she was really I mean Whitney was really mad,
- 22:34Speaker 1: like legit mad.
- 22:36Speaker 2: Yeah, and she's very about wild Rose Beauty, like she
- 22:39Speaker 2: she's really you say anything about her businesses this season
- 22:43Speaker 2: and she's losing it.
- 22:44Speaker 1: She's like, I know it was failed. It was a
- 22:46Speaker 1: failed business. I'm fixing it. I'm fixing it.
- 22:51Speaker 4: Nobody cares.
- 22:52Speaker 2: No, it's hard to keep track of which one of
- 22:56Speaker 2: her businesses that was she's talking about.
- 22:58Speaker 4: That's why she failed.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Has to specify that it's that one, because it's like, yeah,
- 23:03Speaker 3: I mean, if you're talking about failed business, it could
- 23:06Speaker 3: be quite a few.
- 23:07Speaker 4: So, yeah, this was not the one that.
- 23:09Speaker 3: We expected initially because this wasn't the one with all
- 23:12Speaker 3: the drama from last season.
- 23:14Speaker 4: That's totally different.
- 23:16Speaker 1: But I think it was called Iris and Bow and
- 23:18Speaker 1: then it was the exact same business. She just changed
- 23:20Speaker 1: the name to wild Rose Beauty because I think she
- 23:23Speaker 1: thought she was trying to capitalize on Whitney Rose. So
- 23:27Speaker 1: that was probably stupid because if she had a name
- 23:29Speaker 1: with Iris and Bow and whatever, it's not whatever. I'm
- 23:32Speaker 1: not buying skincare from Whitney.
- 23:34Speaker 3: I mean, I'm just not well the Ali Baba stuff too,
- 23:37Speaker 3: Like it probably could have been to steer away from that.
- 23:41Speaker 4: That's a whole that's a whole other business. Yeah, but
- 23:44Speaker 4: that was true.
- 23:45Speaker 1: We could all see the pictures. Because of the pictures,
- 23:49Speaker 1: it's like it is sourced. I have different sources I'm like,
- 23:52Speaker 1: and one of them is Alibaba dot Com. So Ram
- 23:56Speaker 1: is the voice of reason here. She's like, everybody needs
- 23:58Speaker 1: to like, you're sorry to you. You shouldn't have said this,
- 24:00Speaker 1: you shouldn't have said that. And then we're done. Now
- 24:05Speaker 1: everything's fine. Let's just forget that people were storming and
- 24:09Speaker 1: throwing and screaming and poster boards were flying. Let's forget it.
- 24:13Speaker 1: We go with a couple of quick scenes. We get
- 24:15Speaker 1: Meredith describing her new jewelry store slash Caviar Lounge. So
- 24:20Speaker 1: she's taking Meredith Mark's jewelry and making it into a
- 24:23Speaker 1: tiny jewelry store that you have to walk through to
- 24:27Speaker 1: get to the caviar lounge.
- 24:30Speaker 3: Yeah, what is this alis in Wonderland design that she's
- 24:33Speaker 3: talking about here, where it's like you have to start
- 24:36Speaker 3: at the front of the store and then eat this
- 24:39Speaker 3: and drink this, and then you can go through this
- 24:41Speaker 3: little door and this keyhole.
- 24:43Speaker 1: And then you're going to speak easy.
- 24:46Speaker 3: Speak easy caviar speakeasy.
- 24:48Speaker 1: And then you can go back. But you couldn't go up,
- 24:50Speaker 1: but not unless you bought like some earrings first, like
- 24:53Speaker 1: I don't understand.
- 24:55Speaker 2: And then she's in the back de chain somebody that's yeah,
- 24:59Speaker 2: you guys, there's gonna be.
- 25:01Speaker 1: The merit is djaying is such a weird turn and
- 25:06Speaker 1: her just and you're like, didn't she say last days
- 25:09Speaker 1: that she had hearing aids? Yes, yes, so she's got
- 25:12Speaker 1: hearing aids and she's yeah, we're talking about people's impairments.
- 25:17Speaker 3: Now making fun of people's impairments now right.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Where she has hearing aids. But now she's a djit
- 25:24Speaker 1: I mean, okay, all.
- 25:26Speaker 3: Right until like lean into it so much where like
- 25:29Speaker 3: that is her catch phrase as part of the intro
- 25:32Speaker 3: and stuff too, like they're all in on this where
- 25:35Speaker 3: we haven't really.
- 25:36Speaker 4: Seen a lot do it. That was jump right to
- 25:41Speaker 4: that as being like her identity.
- 25:43Speaker 3: Where you know it was baths, baths were her thing, right,
- 25:47Speaker 3: and then now we're just moving away.
- 25:50Speaker 1: From that baths caviar dj DJing, that's your natural progression,
- 25:55Speaker 1: I guess right. So my producer Ingrid went to her
- 26:00Speaker 1: store in Park City last time she was skiing and
- 26:03Speaker 1: bought well first two years ago, she bought a dress.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Meredith has dresses in there. There things she wore on TV.
- 26:13Speaker 2: That you can buy used items like.
- 26:15Speaker 3: The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame just like outfits
- 26:18Speaker 3: in the glass and stuff.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Except for you can buy them. So English found like
- 26:23Speaker 1: the cheapest thing in her size and it was like
- 26:25Speaker 1: a pink coat dress because of course the blazer, you know,
- 26:30Speaker 1: and bought it. It was you know, like one hundred
- 26:32Speaker 1: dollars or something. But yeah, so she in You saw
- 26:35Speaker 1: the racks of clothes in her store. It's a jewelry store,
- 26:37Speaker 1: and that's what that is. She sells her clothes she
- 26:39Speaker 1: wore on the show in that store. I guess that's that's.
- 26:45Speaker 2: It's perplexing because hasn't she inherited a lot of money
- 26:50Speaker 2: from her family, like one hundred and fifty million dollars.
- 26:53Speaker 1: I have no idea. I mean, I think Seth has
- 26:56Speaker 1: a very good job, but her kids are very STYLI
- 27:00Speaker 1: and so I don't know if she did. I don't.
- 27:02Speaker 1: I don't know that, but that's fascinating if she.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Did, yeah, because it's like, why is she running a
- 27:06Speaker 2: poshmark out of her store? Very odd. She's a little
- 27:13Speaker 2: scattered on the business front. I think we could say.
- 27:16Speaker 1: She and Whitney, She and Whitney. So then we get
- 27:19Speaker 1: a quick scene and Mary and Mary and Heather having
- 27:22Speaker 1: a very pleasant lunch, which just goes to show you
- 27:25Speaker 1: Mary's in it. She's having lunch with Heather, who she
- 27:28Speaker 1: once called inbread right to her face twice and fat.
- 27:33Speaker 1: She called her fat too. Don't get that.
- 27:36Speaker 2: She's done that to quite a few people, right, Yeah, yeah,
- 27:40Speaker 2: you like to what others are.
- 27:41Speaker 3: Eating a lot of different ways too, Like Mary comes
- 27:45Speaker 3: up with very unique, very unique ways of telling people
- 27:49Speaker 3: that they're fat, like ways that I've become fast yeah,
- 27:53Speaker 3: or like it looks like the if this trend continues,
- 27:58Speaker 3: there is fat in the future.
- 27:59Speaker 4: And it's like, oh, what that kind of thing it
- 28:05Speaker 4: was Manica? Yeah, I think she was ripped on Monica.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, she's ripped on Lisa Barlowe two for her
- 28:09Speaker 1: fast food. She's like, that's.
- 28:10Speaker 4: Gross, She's gross.
- 28:11Speaker 1: Yeah. Then we see a quick scene of Whitney and
- 28:16Speaker 1: Justin setting up her striper pole, seeming to be in
- 28:20Speaker 1: like a office area upstairs near a banner that she
- 28:24Speaker 1: could go over into the downstairs area. It didn't seem
- 28:27Speaker 1: like a safe area to be setting up that pole,
- 28:29Speaker 1: not for.
- 28:30Speaker 3: Yeah, the maneuvers that she is known for that we've
- 28:34Speaker 3: seen on camera with the centrifugal forces that are available
- 28:38Speaker 3: there I don't think, yeah, that that.
- 28:42Speaker 4: Close to a balcony is going to be the spot
- 28:45Speaker 4: to do that.
- 28:46Speaker 1: But maybe her kids were like, hey, we'd like to
- 28:48Speaker 1: play Xbox down here. Can you get your striper pole
- 28:50Speaker 1: out of the basement, mom, you know, And so she
- 28:54Speaker 1: was like, all right, the kids don't want it down there.
- 28:55Speaker 1: They're embarrassed when their friends come over.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Yeah, my friends are telling their parents, right.
- 29:00Speaker 3: She likes that she has word around town is yeah.
- 29:07Speaker 1: The carpool line. They're talking about her, and she says that,
- 29:11Speaker 1: you know, for a long time, she stuffed away her
- 29:13Speaker 1: fun side that twirls on the pole because she became
- 29:17Speaker 1: a CEO. But now she's ready to have her flower rebloom.
- 29:22Speaker 4: Mmmm.
- 29:24Speaker 1: Was she a CEO of wild Rose Beauty, Iris and
- 29:27Speaker 1: bo Ali Baba? What was this? She the CEO of.
- 29:33Speaker 2: All of them, would be my guest. Yeah, that's why
- 29:36Speaker 2: they've all gone downhill. But now she's found all of
- 29:40Speaker 2: this free time that she can go back to exploring
- 29:43Speaker 2: hobbies that she previously was interested in.
- 29:46Speaker 3: She was on so many zoom calls and then yeah,
- 29:49Speaker 3: having the stripper pole in the background, that was just
- 29:51Speaker 3: it was not good for the general CEO image.
- 29:55Speaker 4: That she was trying to uphold there, so she had
- 29:58Speaker 4: to kind of pack that away for a little while.
- 30:02Speaker 1: I mean, okay, so now we see bron Whin and
- 30:08Speaker 1: Lisa have a lunch at the Vita Tequila Lounge. I
- 30:11Speaker 1: don't know if they're having a lunch, they're just having
- 30:13Speaker 1: a This is the Vita Tequila Lounge. So everybody come
- 30:16Speaker 1: if you're in town, I guess. And she's you know,
- 30:18Speaker 1: and I love how Lisa is just like, you know,
- 30:21Speaker 1: stacking her papers. She's just she's.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Got a clip serious work.
- 30:27Speaker 1: She's busy, she's working. She's a business lady doing business things.
- 30:30Speaker 1: She's working. And they discussed her skipper pool.
- 30:34Speaker 4: Yeah there's no.
- 30:37Speaker 1: Ceo ceo vibes, and she's just got she's just elevated.
- 30:42Speaker 1: So they discussed their beef, you know, and it's sort
- 30:46Speaker 1: of like the things that Lisa said about bron Win's daughter.
- 30:49Speaker 1: We see a flash too when we were in New
- 30:51Speaker 1: York at the reunion and that whole journey about you know,
- 30:56Speaker 1: Braun when agreeing to talk to Lisa about it on
- 30:58Speaker 1: camera and Lisa knowing the what would be her former
- 31:01Speaker 1: in laws if she would have married that guy who
- 31:03Speaker 1: died it's a big it's a big mess. And you know,
- 31:07Speaker 1: Ron when rightfully so, feeling very sort of stabbed in
- 31:10Speaker 1: the back by Lisa about that whole thing. And then
- 31:13Speaker 1: Lisa also of course calling around to find out that
- 31:15Speaker 1: Brahmin didn't buy that four million dollar necklace that not
- 31:17Speaker 1: one person in the world thought she bought, you know,
- 31:21Speaker 1: and she says, you know, and then you made me
- 31:22Speaker 1: feel like a horror by speaking about my husband, you know,
- 31:25Speaker 1: saying that I sucked the gout dick or whatever, and
- 31:28Speaker 1: she's like, I don't think you're a horror. I don't.
- 31:32Speaker 1: They both, I think genuinely apologized to each other. There
- 31:36Speaker 1: was no I'm sorry if you felt that way. There
- 31:39Speaker 1: was no i'm sorry if well, it was just I'm
- 31:43Speaker 1: sorry for what I said that hurt you. They actually
- 31:45Speaker 1: like used the correct apology to each other.
- 31:49Speaker 2: I believe waiting for Lisa to drop a I'm sorry,
- 31:52Speaker 2: but but she didn't even I'm really.
- 31:56Speaker 3: It was kind of the whole conversation though, was teetering.
- 32:00Speaker 3: It was like on the edge of if this goes
- 32:04Speaker 3: a little bit sideways, if somebody interprets something a little
- 32:09Speaker 3: bit different than how it's supposed to land, here, this
- 32:12Speaker 3: could go really bad really quick, Like there was some
- 32:16Speaker 3: tension in this even though it was, yeah, a pretty
- 32:19Speaker 3: successful apology, mutual apology.
- 32:22Speaker 1: I felt bron when kept that on the tracks. I
- 32:25Speaker 1: felt like Lisa could have gone off, but Bronin kind
- 32:28Speaker 1: of kept it on the tracks and I did, like,
- 32:30Speaker 1: you know the end that Lisa goes into her baby
- 32:33Speaker 1: voice and goes, oh my god, we did the whole
- 32:36Speaker 1: thing without even yelling. Brama goes into her baby voice, goes,
- 32:40Speaker 1: I know, she goes because she goes for you. It's
- 32:43Speaker 1: harder because you get loud and I get cutting, which
- 32:46Speaker 1: is like you get loud because you're stupid, and I
- 32:48Speaker 1: get cutting because I'm smart. It was a little bit
- 32:50Speaker 1: of a dig, but Lisa's maybe not bright enough to
- 32:53Speaker 1: pick up on it, but I picked up on it.
- 32:55Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, yeah, it was great, it was good.
- 32:57Speaker 1: It was a good one. It was a good one.
- 32:59Speaker 1: They hug it out. They have a genuine hug out
- 33:01Speaker 1: and ridiculous outfits, and that's what we're here for. That's
- 33:03Speaker 1: what we like on the show right.
- 33:07Speaker 4: Now.
- 33:08Speaker 1: Yes, yes, we get the best scene I think of
- 33:12Speaker 1: the whole well, I don't know, there's two choices here,
- 33:14Speaker 1: but this is the best one for me because I
- 33:16Speaker 1: love Mary. Mary goes to see her renovated church that
- 33:21Speaker 1: looks exactly like the church looked before with her cousin
- 33:26Speaker 1: Big Joe. Now she reminds us about Big Joe one
- 33:30Speaker 1: time took one year to put hardwood floors in the
- 33:32Speaker 1: upstairs of their house, which is like a three day project.
- 33:36Speaker 1: And she says, he's a contractor. He takes advantage, he does.
- 33:41Speaker 1: And they walk in and they immediately see the painting
- 33:44Speaker 1: that we've seen before, which is a Mama, her grandmother
- 33:47Speaker 1: with Jesus. Yes, and that's not weird, and they know that.
- 33:52Speaker 1: They accept that as being a painting that should happen.
- 33:57Speaker 1: And she's walking around going to you know that molding
- 34:00Speaker 1: up there that should match the cards. Oh yes, man,
- 34:02Speaker 1: yes ma'am. And there are nails sticking out of the pews. Oh,
- 34:06Speaker 1: oh yeah, that's bad, yes, ma'am, Yes, ma'am. Why does
- 34:10Speaker 1: her cousin constantly call her yes, ma'am.
- 34:14Speaker 2: I think he's scared of her, terrified.
- 34:17Speaker 1: It's the respect of her as the as the leader
- 34:19Speaker 1: of the church.
- 34:21Speaker 2: Have no I think he's scared.
- 34:22Speaker 3: I think he's just scared yeah, if he doesn't.
- 34:24Speaker 2: Of the pair the power that Mary got Cosby wields,
- 34:28Speaker 2: you know.
- 34:28Speaker 3: Yeah, in a couple of different ways. Yeah, Like definitely
- 34:32Speaker 3: there's a concern for well being. If things don't go,
- 34:35Speaker 3: if things aren't to Mary's liking, then yeah, there will
- 34:38Speaker 3: be hell to pay.
- 34:39Speaker 2: It's not helping with the cult leader accusations.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Yeah, their first cousin is calling her yes, ma'am. And
- 34:47Speaker 1: I believe her other cousin is her housekeeper, right, Yes,
- 34:53Speaker 1: is that an aunt. I think it's a cousin.
- 34:55Speaker 2: It's some family member. We saw that was the last season.
- 34:58Speaker 4: Yeah, I think so.
- 35:00Speaker 1: We saw her first season. We saw her first season too,
- 35:02Speaker 1: that lady who just like well series around. Yeah.
- 35:05Speaker 2: I've been employed long term, so that's good. It's promising.
- 35:10Speaker 1: And you're thinking, like, because I think about my cousins
- 35:12Speaker 1: and what we did when we were little, you know,
- 35:14Speaker 1: like playing outside and doing crazy things. And now I
- 35:17Speaker 1: got to say yes ma'am to my cousin Connie, like no.
- 35:22Speaker 3: No, oh, we were talking about yeah, cousin, Uh, just
- 35:26Speaker 3: the typical cousin. Things of watching inappropriate movies or like
- 35:30Speaker 3: scary move too scary of a movie with your cousins
- 35:33Speaker 3: that's like a cousin right of passage, so.
- 35:36Speaker 1: They're older and their parents said they could have and yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 35:39Speaker 3: And then I was like one of the older cousins.
- 35:42Speaker 3: Like a lot of my cousins are much younger. It
- 35:44Speaker 3: was like, well, one side of my family, I was
- 35:46Speaker 3: like the youngest cousins, and then the other side of
- 35:48Speaker 3: the family, I was one of the oldest cousins. Okay,
- 35:52Speaker 3: so then it was like I've kind of had both
- 35:54Speaker 3: sides of that experience too, where it's like, yeah, you
- 35:57Speaker 3: get to be too young for the things that you're
- 36:00Speaker 3: being involved in, and then you also get to expose
- 36:04Speaker 3: kids to things that maybe they shouldn't be watching at
- 36:07Speaker 3: that time.
- 36:08Speaker 2: Yeah, you're not calling you, sir though, Oh.
- 36:11Speaker 4: Nobody's calling me sir. No, yeah at all.
- 36:13Speaker 1: Would they see you for Thanksgiving? They're like, yes, sir, yes, sir, yes, sir.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Would you like me to pass you the gravy? Yes, sir.
- 36:20Speaker 1: I mean it's wild And so obviously they planned, you know,
- 36:24Speaker 1: to sit down and have this conversation to give us
- 36:26Speaker 1: this backstory, because I have to imagine, after all the
- 36:29Speaker 1: years on this show, that the production said, Mary, we
- 36:33Speaker 1: can't just not address the fact that you're the leader
- 36:36Speaker 1: of this church, like we can't and there's been so
- 36:39Speaker 1: much written about it, and we just never address what
- 36:42Speaker 1: she did was she just shut the church down. It
- 36:43Speaker 1: was like, nope, I'm not doing that anymore. But now
- 36:46Speaker 1: she's bringing it back. So I wonder if she's gonna
- 36:49Speaker 1: be like a nicer, softer Mary so big. Joe says, now,
- 36:53Speaker 1: how's Robert Junior doing? And she says, oh, you know,
- 36:56Speaker 1: it's day by day, and she says, it's hurtful because
- 36:59Speaker 1: we're so close now, but I'm now fully aware of
- 37:03Speaker 1: what he's doing, and so that's actually more hurtful because
- 37:06Speaker 1: I'm really aware when he's falling off because before she wasn't,
- 37:09Speaker 1: you know, paying attention. And that's really sad. And I
- 37:13Speaker 1: think that just the brief part I watched to watch
- 37:17Speaker 1: What Happens Live before we got on, she did say that,
- 37:20Speaker 1: you know, because he recently got arrested for like domestic
- 37:22Speaker 1: abuse in a parking lot or something, that she said,
- 37:25Speaker 1: he really actually has never had a fall like that.
- 37:28Speaker 1: He's never had a rock bottom, He's never he's never
- 37:30Speaker 1: had any consequences of his actions. She said, so actually
- 37:33Speaker 1: that was good that he that that happened to him,
- 37:36Speaker 1: because now he's doing better than ever, you know, which
- 37:39Speaker 1: takes Robert.
- 37:41Speaker 3: And she was talking about that too, where it was
- 37:43Speaker 3: like it sounded like with her grandma, it was kind
- 37:46Speaker 3: of like, hey, I'm handing the reins over to you.
- 37:48Speaker 3: Like Mary had that moment where it was like here
- 37:51Speaker 3: you go, I'm trusting you with this, and then like
- 37:54Speaker 3: she's kind of hoping for that same level of confidence
- 37:59Speaker 3: in Robert Junior. But it's like there's progress that needs
- 38:03Speaker 3: to be made there too, because it's like she might
- 38:05Speaker 3: be thinking about that too of like what's the legacy,
- 38:07Speaker 3: what's the.
- 38:08Speaker 1: Oh I didn't even think about Robert Junior taking over
- 38:11Speaker 1: the church?
- 38:12Speaker 3: Yeah, well it's not going to go to cousin Joe.
- 38:14Speaker 3: It takes me a year to put in the hardwood
- 38:15Speaker 3: floors upstairs.
- 38:17Speaker 1: That's going to work. No, but he's not going to
- 38:19Speaker 1: get banished because he's doing a great job. No, you bet.
- 38:23Speaker 1: He'd better be sending her birthday cards. You know what'll
- 38:25Speaker 1: happen if you don't. Yeah. So, anyway, she gives us
- 38:31Speaker 1: the backstory that she wants us to know. Okay, which
- 38:34Speaker 1: if you've listened to the Bravo docket about this or
- 38:38Speaker 1: various other podcasts and things. This doesn't quite jive with
- 38:41Speaker 1: what the actual legal paper show is the story, but
- 38:45Speaker 1: this is the story. She and again, I'm a marry apologist,
- 38:47Speaker 1: so I just like this is fine. This is what
- 38:48Speaker 1: she says. She says that she just couldn't believe it
- 38:52Speaker 1: that Grandma Mama wanted to pass the church down to her.
- 38:58Speaker 1: She couldn't believe it, which of course meant, you know,
- 39:02Speaker 1: she passed that you're gonna have to take the husband too,
- 39:04Speaker 1: because that's just part of it. So Robert just obeyed
- 39:08Speaker 1: what Mama wanted, which was to marry the granddaughter, which
- 39:11Speaker 1: was her. And then it was crazy because you know,
- 39:14Speaker 1: her mother tried to take over, and Big Joe goes
- 39:18Speaker 1: she wanted that power, and it seems like she came
- 39:22Speaker 1: in one time and tried to take over a service,
- 39:25Speaker 1: pretended like she was going to lead the choir, and
- 39:28Speaker 1: then with her dark energy and her minions tried to
- 39:32Speaker 1: take over the church service and they had to call
- 39:35Speaker 1: the police. And the person that thought they would never
- 39:38Speaker 1: get put out got put out, which is her mother.
- 39:42Speaker 1: They're referring to her mother. And then all of a sudden,
- 39:43Speaker 1: they were talking to her as this person got asked,
- 39:47Speaker 1: so you're telling me in the middle of a church service.
- 39:50Speaker 1: She her mom turns around and goes, I'm the captain now,
- 39:54Speaker 1: I'm in church now, And they called the police who
- 39:58Speaker 1: came in escoed, Wow, can you imagine being at that
- 40:02Speaker 1: church service?
- 40:03Speaker 4: Well, that's what it was like.
- 40:05Speaker 3: Okay, we we've gone to church a few times in
- 40:08Speaker 3: our adult life together because like, not not so much,
- 40:12Speaker 3: not so much for this guy. I was raised in it,
- 40:14Speaker 3: and I'm like, Okay, I think I'm good, Like I've
- 40:17Speaker 3: hit my lifetime supply. So like we did when we
- 40:21Speaker 3: moved new places sometimes it was like hey, you know,
- 40:23Speaker 3: like you get to know people in.
- 40:25Speaker 4: The community and stuff.
- 40:26Speaker 3: We went to a church service one time. Do you
- 40:28Speaker 3: remember which one I'm talking about? When we moved in
- 40:30Speaker 3: with your mom and then we went to that church service,
- 40:33Speaker 3: a random church service.
- 40:35Speaker 4: And it was so it was in.
- 40:41Speaker 3: It was East Coast, it was in New Jersey, Okay,
- 40:43Speaker 3: and it was so it was like, okay, it was
- 40:47Speaker 3: a rebuking sort of.
- 40:51Speaker 2: Hold on, it's bringing memories back, yeaheah. It was strange
- 40:54Speaker 2: where there was.
- 40:55Speaker 4: Like okay, no, so it wasn't. It wasn't that. It
- 40:58Speaker 4: was like.
- 41:00Speaker 3: There was some discomfort with the volunteer situations that people
- 41:07Speaker 3: found themselves in, where some people in the congregation who
- 41:14Speaker 3: are like longer term members who've been at that church
- 41:19Speaker 3: for a longer period of time, there was like a
- 41:21Speaker 3: pecking order that had been established where it was like
- 41:24Speaker 3: new people need to do the grunt work of this stuff,
- 41:29Speaker 3: so like if you're gonna come, you know, set up
- 41:31Speaker 3: the chairs, or like you're gonna volunteer to watch the
- 41:34Speaker 3: kids and the kids service, and so it was like
- 41:38Speaker 3: a whole thing where it was like all this other
- 41:40Speaker 3: drama where we were like it's like tuning in, you
- 41:44Speaker 3: know to episode ten and like season finales next week,
- 41:47Speaker 3: and I'm like, I have no idea what's going.
- 41:49Speaker 1: They didn't take into account that anybody was there that
- 41:52Speaker 1: day that didn't go to the church.
- 41:54Speaker 4: Anybody visiting today. Yeah, Like, there wasn't that.
- 41:56Speaker 3: It wasn't that conversation and it was like, oh, we're guests,
- 42:01Speaker 3: we're new here.
- 42:02Speaker 4: I don't know what's going on.
- 42:04Speaker 1: And that's fascinating you.
- 42:07Speaker 3: We walked into quite quite a predicament where yeah, it
- 42:10Speaker 3: was like I'm not doing that because I've been a
- 42:13Speaker 3: member of the you know, I had to do all
- 42:15Speaker 3: this other stuff and so it was like.
- 42:16Speaker 2: This amongst themselves.
- 42:17Speaker 4: Yeah, so then it was just like you're like, maybe this.
- 42:20Speaker 1: Is not the church for us because we don't want
- 42:22Speaker 1: to set up chairs and we can tell coming in
- 42:26Speaker 1: we're gonna have to set up chairs or watch nursery
- 42:28Speaker 1: and we don't want to do that. Want to come.
- 42:32Speaker 2: Yeahs Lucky no one got arrested, Yeah.
- 42:36Speaker 4: There was. The police were not called.
- 42:37Speaker 3: You know, we didn't have to like, yeah, we didn't
- 42:39Speaker 3: have to vote on anything of who the police were
- 42:42Speaker 3: going to escort off the premises or anything.
- 42:45Speaker 1: This is crazy, people that the people that have been
- 42:48Speaker 1: there have been there. Now. If you listen to the
- 42:50Speaker 1: Bravo Docket episode about it, there is like a whole
- 42:52Speaker 1: thing between like Mary and her mom and like her
- 42:55Speaker 1: mom had Mama exoomed to get the body tested and
- 42:59Speaker 1: stuff like it's wild. So Mary says, you know, it's
- 43:03Speaker 1: just full circle because her mother now has actually died,
- 43:06Speaker 1: her mother, you know, disowned her, and she says, but
- 43:10Speaker 1: now that my mom really actually left us, left the earth,
- 43:15Speaker 1: it's all like official, she says, because it's like a
- 43:18Speaker 1: more hurtful reality. She really is gone, and I really
- 43:20Speaker 1: am realizing all the things that she did. She says,
- 43:23Speaker 1: her mom is the one, and we just get like
- 43:26Speaker 1: headlines splashed all over. Her mom is the one that
- 43:29Speaker 1: put out all these articles about her and the church.
- 43:32Speaker 3: I don't know if all of those came from.
- 43:35Speaker 1: Her, all of them, all of them, though not all
- 43:39Speaker 1: of them. But she's sad that her mother died. Not really,
- 43:44Speaker 1: she's out of a lot of legal issues now that
- 43:46Speaker 1: her mom's gone. But she does pull out a tissue
- 43:49Speaker 1: to blow her nose and doesn't realize it's like a
- 43:51Speaker 1: face mask, but it's like a Louis Vuitton face mask.
- 43:54Speaker 1: She's like, what is this and he's just like, oh, Mary,
- 43:57Speaker 1: it's a it's a Louis Vauton And he's like, thank you, sir,
- 44:01Speaker 1: May I have another marry my cousin.
- 44:06Speaker 3: She hasn't used this person since COVID, and so it
- 44:09Speaker 3: was just like that I was in there. I'm pretty
- 44:12Speaker 3: sure this is a cleanex and then like, which side
- 44:15Speaker 3: of it are you using? I hope you're using like
- 44:17Speaker 3: the inside that was on your face, not like the outside.
- 44:20Speaker 4: Clean it.
- 44:21Speaker 1: After I'm just gonna throw it away. She's gonna, yeah,
- 44:25Speaker 1: even mistakes, Darling. So now we go to Angie at
- 44:33Speaker 1: Lunatic Fringe, her salon, which she may or may not
- 44:37Speaker 1: own three to ten franchises unclear, but it is her brand.
- 44:41Speaker 1: She and her husband did start the first one, so
- 44:44Speaker 1: it's unclear what steak they have in all of it,
- 44:46Speaker 1: so who cares? So she has to read it her
- 44:49Speaker 1: cosmotology license, So she's gonna do a fake perm on Heather.
- 44:53Speaker 1: Heather agrees to come in. She was like, okay, all right,
- 44:57Speaker 1: So she's just practicing doing the little rulers, right. So
- 45:01Speaker 1: she tells Heather the story about Lisa sending her assistant
- 45:06Speaker 1: over whose name was Sage, and to gather the fresh
- 45:10Speaker 1: Wolf products, and she sent her six hundred dollars venmo.
- 45:15Speaker 1: And she says, I'm gonna I send you six hundred
- 45:18Speaker 1: dollars venmo for the products, and can I send my cleaners?
- 45:21Speaker 1: Your salon is so dusty? And she said, well, I
- 45:25Speaker 1: fired back and said you should not. You shouldn't have
- 45:28Speaker 1: sent the six hundred dollars. Send it to people who
- 45:31Speaker 1: you actually owe money to. My salon is not dusty,
- 45:34Speaker 1: but your product is because it's been sitting here for
- 45:36Speaker 1: two years. Lisa fires back, at least I don't have
- 45:39Speaker 1: to borrow money for vacations and pay back with a
- 45:41Speaker 1: credit card. And Heather's like, way, wait, wait, wait, wait,
- 45:44Speaker 1: now what's the credit card. The end of a she goes,
- 45:46Speaker 1: I don't know I have a credit card in my name.
- 45:49Speaker 1: It's like, well, I fucking hope you do. You're like
- 45:51Speaker 1: fifteen years old with a child in a business. What
- 45:55Speaker 1: do you mean I have a credit card in my name?
- 45:57Speaker 1: Like she was so proud of it.
- 45:58Speaker 4: I was like, that's like, that's the stuff. That felt
- 46:01Speaker 4: like Lisa.
- 46:03Speaker 2: Ron Wynda have a credit card in her name.
- 46:05Speaker 4: Oh that's true. Well, she debly.
- 46:08Speaker 1: Can't have one in her name now.
- 46:10Speaker 3: But like that feels like something that Lisa heard from somewhere. Yes,
- 46:14Speaker 3: And then she was hanging on to that, and then
- 46:17Speaker 3: she was using it in a time because it was
- 46:19Speaker 3: and she was making her feel bad about her money situation.
- 46:24Speaker 3: And then it's like, all right, well here's this, and
- 46:28Speaker 3: it's like, well, that didn't know. It's not even true.
- 46:30Speaker 3: So you gotta vet some of this information a little
- 46:34Speaker 3: bit better if you're going to just throw those accusations.
- 46:37Speaker 1: Around and again with Lisa apologies to Carly again with Lisa,
- 46:42Speaker 1: just with the well these times to have the credit card?
- 46:45Speaker 1: You what are you talking about? Like nobody knows what
- 46:47Speaker 1: you're talking about. Two thirds of a time, like come
- 46:50Speaker 1: up with a better disk with a backstory, you know,
- 46:53Speaker 1: And she goes, I have no idea. She goes, I
- 46:55Speaker 1: don't know why she did all this, and you know,
- 46:58Speaker 1: the whole thing is like it is a sea level product.
- 47:00Speaker 1: I do have a level products. And she DAEs her
- 47:03Speaker 1: hair black and it doesn't look shiny, it's actually flat.
- 47:06Speaker 1: And Heather goes, okay, but stop, like why do you
- 47:08Speaker 1: have to don't do all that, you know, and she goes,
- 47:11Speaker 1: I have to respond with something low or walk away.
- 47:13Speaker 1: You know, I'm not going to walk away. And now
- 47:15Speaker 1: there's like, oh god, I thought everything was fine. Yeah,
- 47:18Speaker 1: And so the question is why did Lisa then do
- 47:22Speaker 1: that After they seemed to work it out at the table.
- 47:26Speaker 2: I think she went home and all she could think
- 47:28Speaker 2: about was that line of you do French fries, I
- 47:32Speaker 2: do franchise, Like.
- 47:34Speaker 1: She's the the list product that should be in Walmart.
- 47:36Speaker 2: Running through her mind all night, and so she decided
- 47:40Speaker 2: to send someone over there to go collect the product.
- 47:43Speaker 3: Well, because Lisa had been fighting with it was Whitney,
- 47:46Speaker 3: it was bron When, and then it was Angie's. So
- 47:48Speaker 3: Angie was the third fight at that lawsuit luncheon, and
- 47:53Speaker 3: so I think she was kind of narrowing down like
- 47:57Speaker 3: who she was going to have her next feud with.
- 48:02Speaker 1: Essentially she cleared with Bronwyn.
- 48:04Speaker 3: Yes, like she was like, I don't want any smoke
- 48:07Speaker 3: from Bronwyn because like that got rough pretty quick. I
- 48:11Speaker 3: wasn't really ready to handle all of that. And then
- 48:13Speaker 3: the stuff with Whitney, it's just it's not interesting. It's
- 48:17Speaker 3: them talking back and forth about their businesses to each other.
- 48:21Speaker 3: Nobody really cares about that. So like the stuff with Angie,
- 48:24Speaker 3: that seemed like it has, you know, the most potential
- 48:28Speaker 3: to kind of evolve into something and continue along.
- 48:32Speaker 2: Also thinks she knows more about Angie than she does
- 48:36Speaker 2: about Witness.
- 48:37Speaker 1: Yeah, she saves it up. I mean, that's rough to
- 48:42Speaker 1: be friends with somebody and be like, God, I hope
- 48:43Speaker 1: I don't use this against me in two years if
- 48:45Speaker 1: we're you know, well, Okay. The next scene was also incredible,
- 48:52Speaker 1: and all this now we've got three good scenes that
- 48:55Speaker 1: would be for best scene of thing we got that,
- 48:57Speaker 1: we got the Mary at the Church, and we got
- 48:58Speaker 1: this one with Whitney and Brittany, and then we also
- 49:00Speaker 1: have Brahma with her mom. So oh, Whitney and Brittany
- 49:05Speaker 1: go to a plant store and Brittany's like, yeah, I
- 49:08Speaker 1: need Jared and I are in such good place, like
- 49:09Speaker 1: we're trying to get re engaged, and Whnney's like, oh God,
- 49:12Speaker 1: like nobody cares. And she goes, but my daughter really
- 49:15Speaker 1: doesn't like it, and she sometimes, I guess thinks I'm
- 49:18Speaker 1: choosing him over her. Here's where Whitney reads Britney for
- 49:23Speaker 1: filth in a plant store, and I loved it. I
- 49:27Speaker 1: loved it. I was like, because a lot of people
- 49:30Speaker 1: are like Whitney doesn't have much of a storyline, I'm like, well,
- 49:32Speaker 1: she just secured it by this. Yeah, yes, I mean
- 49:35Speaker 1: she's like put down the cactus. So she says, maybe
- 49:40Speaker 1: you should ask her. Well, if that's what she's upset
- 49:43Speaker 1: with you about, thinking you choose men over your children,
- 49:46Speaker 1: maybe you should ask her. And then what you could
- 49:48Speaker 1: do is dump Jared to prove to her that you're
- 49:51Speaker 1: not choosing a man over her. And she goes, no, offense,
- 49:55Speaker 1: but your daughter needs to come first, and you know
- 49:57Speaker 1: this mother daughter relationship is important. You should never give
- 50:00Speaker 1: up on it. And Brittany goes, well, it's hard because
- 50:02Speaker 1: like she won't make any space for me, And Whitney's like,
- 50:06Speaker 1: you're the parent and you should give it thirty days.
- 50:09Speaker 1: Get rid of Jared for thirty days. See what happens
- 50:11Speaker 1: with your daughter. It's up and down with Jared. You
- 50:13Speaker 1: could probably use a break. And if that's all she
- 50:16Speaker 1: needs to see from you, it's a no brainer. This
- 50:19Speaker 1: is your daughter. And then she says, listen to me
- 50:24Speaker 1: and put down the cactus and she grabs her brother
- 50:25Speaker 1: shoulders and says, this is your daughter, and instinctively you
- 50:31Speaker 1: should feel you would do anything for her. Anything. Instinctively,
- 50:36Speaker 1: that's what you should feel. And Brittany's like.
- 50:38Speaker 2: Oh good, she doesn't.
- 50:41Speaker 1: Should She doesn't.
- 50:42Speaker 4: I don't think she does.
- 50:44Speaker 1: She doesn't instinctively feel it. She goes anything, not even dating,
- 50:48Speaker 1: Do you feel it? And she goes, yeah, yeah, she goes,
- 50:54Speaker 1: and he goes because you standing here questioning it is
- 50:57Speaker 1: making me feel a certain way about you. She opens
- 51:01Speaker 1: her pathway yes, and I think Whitney's like, oh, she's
- 51:04Speaker 1: a bad person. I hope that person makes sure.
- 51:10Speaker 3: Yeah, Like I hope Whitney takes her to task on
- 51:12Speaker 3: this and calls it out because I mean people were
- 51:16Speaker 3: pointing that out to Britney last season too, as I'm
- 51:20Speaker 3: sure one of her many announcements that were interrupted when
- 51:23Speaker 3: people are like don't your daughters like not talk to
- 51:27Speaker 3: you and stuff like.
- 51:28Speaker 1: No live with her nothing.
- 51:30Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just like there's a lot of people in
- 51:33Speaker 3: your life that you have expended in order to continue
- 51:38Speaker 3: this relationship pursuit with the Osmond And it's like, what
- 51:43Speaker 3: are you getting out of this, because it's just it's
- 51:45Speaker 3: very volatile.
- 51:46Speaker 1: What are you getting out of it? Yeah, but you
- 51:49Speaker 1: get to say you're dating an Osmond? Okay, you worry.
- 51:54Speaker 2: Not even one that anybody can name off the top
- 51:56Speaker 2: of their head unless they if you watch this show,
- 51:59Speaker 2: you know his name. Otherwise you don't.
- 52:02Speaker 1: One of the Osmond brothers with Donnie and the.
- 52:06Speaker 2: Extended family member.
- 52:07Speaker 3: I can't carry a tune in a bucket that one.
- 52:09Speaker 1: No, not that we know of. He's not not not, uh,
- 52:14Speaker 1: I guess is a sibling of Marie. No, Marie would
- 52:18Speaker 1: be his aunt. Yeah, not even close, not even a
- 52:21Speaker 1: close Osmond, come on now, So okay, so now we
- 52:26Speaker 1: get Now we get Braunwin and her mom, Muzzy. Now,
- 52:31Speaker 1: I don't think Muzzy's on her birth certificate, but I
- 52:33Speaker 1: would like to know what Muzzy's real name is. Is it?
- 52:37Speaker 2: I hope it is Muzzy. I hope that Mussy has
- 52:39Speaker 2: gone through life with that being her legal first name.
- 52:43Speaker 3: On that Yeah, bron when and Lisa kept talking about
- 52:46Speaker 3: a race to the bottom, I think the race to
- 52:48Speaker 3: the bottom that we determined was Britney and Muzzy for
- 52:53Speaker 3: worst mom.
- 52:54Speaker 4: That was the race to the bottom of this episode.
- 52:56Speaker 1: You could not be more correct. That is correct. Yeah,
- 53:00Speaker 1: So brom And and Muzzy sit down, and Muzzy's wearing
- 53:03Speaker 1: a sweater that says what does it say? It said like,
- 53:07Speaker 1: I can't remember. It was something really stupid and I
- 53:10Speaker 1: haven't remember.
- 53:11Speaker 2: On class, I spent a lot of time looking at
- 53:13Speaker 2: Bronwen's sweatshirt or whatever she had on. I usually spend
- 53:16Speaker 2: a lot of time trying to understand what it is
- 53:18Speaker 2: Bronwyn is wearing.
- 53:19Speaker 3: I get over stimulated every time the cameras are in.
- 53:22Speaker 4: That living room.
- 53:23Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yes, yes.
- 53:25Speaker 3: The furniture there's too many pieces of furniture in multiple directions.
- 53:30Speaker 3: I don't know where the center the energy of this
- 53:32Speaker 3: room is supposed to be.
- 53:34Speaker 4: I don't know what's happening.
- 53:35Speaker 1: But if you say, like, meet me in the living room.
- 53:37Speaker 4: It's like which one which.
- 53:39Speaker 1: There's six sitting areas in this living room and they're
- 53:42Speaker 1: all like, you need to balance on the edge of
- 53:44Speaker 1: the chair because you might just Yeah, it makes Mary
- 53:47Speaker 1: Cosby's house look nice. Yeah.
- 53:49Speaker 3: Yeah, there's fourteen dogs that just will run between you
- 53:53Speaker 3: as well, I'm sure, and just it's just bite you.
- 53:55Speaker 1: And yeah. So brom And and her mom Muzzy, Okay,
- 54:01Speaker 1: so her sister is there now, I'm so sorry her
- 54:04Speaker 1: daughter is there. Who we assume? I don't assume. I
- 54:07Speaker 1: think the daughter might be eighteen, she might be seventeen.
- 54:10Speaker 1: But anyway, the boyfriend has just moved in, and I
- 54:13Speaker 1: myself do have a little judgment about that. I does
- 54:18Speaker 1: the boyfriend. Is he from a broken home and had
- 54:21Speaker 1: nowhere to live or he's just like, hey, we're banging,
- 54:24Speaker 1: we may as well just live together. And brom was like, sure.
- 54:28Speaker 2: I think we need to know the story. I mean,
- 54:31Speaker 2: maybe it's probably potentially personal. So maybe that's why they're
- 54:35Speaker 2: not telling us. But you know who's business, it's not Muzzi's.
- 54:38Speaker 2: It's not Mussy because Muzzy's also a guest in this house, Well.
- 54:41Speaker 3: It becomes Muzzy's business. Yeah, I think that's what people
- 54:44Speaker 3: were pointing out. They were like, why is Muzzy concerned
- 54:47Speaker 3: about this? Like when she lives in the same house
- 54:49Speaker 3: as them, like.
- 54:50Speaker 1: They all live and lucky to live there because she
- 54:53Speaker 1: would have nowhere to live otherwise. Right, we're Todd youd
- 54:57Speaker 1: better put some respect on Todd's name, Muzzy.
- 55:02Speaker 3: I want to see Muzzy and Todd interact. That's what
- 55:04Speaker 3: we were talking about. Because then my biggest fear though became.
- 55:07Speaker 3: I was like, oh no, if they both gang up
- 55:10Speaker 3: on Bronwyn, that would be a whole thing. But Carly
- 55:12Speaker 3: thinks Todd does not get along with Muzzy, and so
- 55:16Speaker 3: that's why we're not going to see them in the
- 55:18Speaker 3: same space.
- 55:19Speaker 2: I think Todd avoids spending any more time with Muzzy
- 55:22Speaker 2: than he absolutely has to, which.
- 55:24Speaker 1: That I agree. I agree with that. So they're sitting
- 55:28Speaker 1: there and Gwynn and the boyfriend are like, Hey, we're
- 55:31Speaker 1: going to our bowling leagu which means we're going to bang.
- 55:34Speaker 1: And I was like, again me as a mother of
- 55:37Speaker 1: people to say, just like, you know, no, fine, they're
- 55:41Speaker 1: bay and they're fine, they're baying. I don't care. I
- 55:43Speaker 1: don't You don't need to come up with bowlingly to
- 55:45Speaker 1: tell me about it.
- 55:46Speaker 3: Like I'm the nerd who actually does go to bowling
- 55:51Speaker 3: league or like has gone to bowling league.
- 55:52Speaker 4: And I'm like, oh, cool, Like.
- 55:54Speaker 1: Where are they're bowling?
- 55:56Speaker 4: Yeah, what's your average? You know, like how you guys doing.
- 55:59Speaker 4: But no, that's I guess that was code. So I'm
- 56:02Speaker 4: not hip to that.
- 56:04Speaker 1: Yeah, And so the mom was like, oh, so they
- 56:05Speaker 1: don't have enough space in the east wing of the
- 56:07Speaker 1: house to bang it out, they got to go to
- 56:09Speaker 1: bowling league and and mom says, well, you know, Gwyn,
- 56:13Speaker 1: she's just following your example. And she goes, yeah, Mom,
- 56:17Speaker 1: I know you probably don't agree with it, but like
- 56:18Speaker 1: we're just very open and so that's how we do it.
- 56:22Speaker 1: And mom goes, yeah, that's great, but it's not the
- 56:26Speaker 1: kind of parenting that works, And Brahma goes, do you
- 56:29Speaker 1: think your type of parenting works? Ronwin talks about how
- 56:36Speaker 1: terrible her mom was when she was pregnant. Now she
- 56:38Speaker 1: got pregnant out of wedlock in a Mormon family, not unusual.
- 56:42Speaker 1: Half the Mormon wives that we see all had the
- 56:44Speaker 1: same thing. They get pregnant when they're sixteen seventeen, they
- 56:47Speaker 1: immediately get married. Brahman didn't go that route, and it
- 56:52Speaker 1: was embarrassing because she apparently has two sisters that were
- 56:54Speaker 1: pregnant at the same time, which is brutal.
- 57:00Speaker 3: This whole story was just terrible because then bron Win's
- 57:04Speaker 3: basically pointing out the whole thing. But this is like
- 57:08Speaker 3: we saw this on with the Osbourne's. We were going
- 57:10Speaker 3: back and watching the Osbourne's and then there's this other
- 57:13Speaker 3: show called like the Basement, the Basement Tape, Basement Tapes
- 57:17Speaker 3: or something like that, where it's the Osbourne's watching the
- 57:21Speaker 3: original show.
- 57:23Speaker 1: Like, so you watched the Osborne's watching the Osborne's.
- 57:26Speaker 3: Yes, at one point on that we did, but like, yeah,
- 57:30Speaker 3: it's the show within the show. And then I think
- 57:32Speaker 3: at one point it was they were talking about where
- 57:34Speaker 3: there was a scene in the original Osbourne where the
- 57:37Speaker 3: kids were going out to clubs in LA when they're.
- 57:41Speaker 4: Like sixteen and fifteen years old.
- 57:43Speaker 3: Jack and Kelly are out in La at nightclubs at
- 57:47Speaker 3: you know, one o'clock, two o'clock in the morning, and
- 57:50Speaker 3: they looking back on it, you know, Jack had said
- 57:54Speaker 3: something about like he has kids now, and so he's like,
- 57:56Speaker 3: I could never imagine my kid letting my kids do that.
- 58:01Speaker 3: And then it was like, well, it's a different time.
- 58:03Speaker 3: It was that we knew all the the owners of
- 58:06Speaker 3: the clubs and stuff, and so it was like they
- 58:09Speaker 3: were very quick Jack, like Ozzie.
- 58:12Speaker 2: And Sharon Sharon to defend trying to defend how they
- 58:17Speaker 2: raised them.
- 58:18Speaker 3: Like yeah, it was like, oh, we knew all the
- 58:20Speaker 3: club owners, we knew this and stuff. So but Jack
- 58:22Speaker 3: was like, oh, yeah, but this would have been like
- 58:25Speaker 3: not something that I would do, right, Like as a parent,
- 58:29Speaker 3: I wouldn't do that.
- 58:30Speaker 1: It's turned out to be addicts as well, you know,
- 58:32Speaker 1: so you know, there's.
- 58:35Speaker 3: That, and I think there was even just the little
- 58:37Speaker 3: thing that Jack had said at one point where it
- 58:39Speaker 3: was like I could have done better with like more
- 58:41Speaker 3: structure in my life because at that time, you know,
- 58:45Speaker 3: he wasn't going to traditional school. It was just kind
- 58:49Speaker 3: of like he would just sleep all day and then
- 58:51Speaker 3: party all night, and so it was like, well, yeah,
- 58:53Speaker 3: that's not great for a team at that age. And
- 58:58Speaker 3: so for him, he was like, I could have done
- 58:59Speaker 3: better with a little structure, and they were like, if
- 59:01Speaker 3: you wanted structure, you should you could have said that,
- 59:04Speaker 3: and it's like, but yeah, what he's saying is he's
- 59:06Speaker 3: a kid.
- 59:07Speaker 1: He's not on the it's not on the child to
- 59:08Speaker 1: tell you how to parent, right, yeah.
- 59:10Speaker 3: Yeah, And so that's where it's like this weird dynamic
- 59:15Speaker 3: that's becoming a parent here with bron Went. Even though
- 59:18Speaker 3: I sniffed this out just from the way that bron
- 59:22Speaker 3: Went offered soda to Muzzy the other episode and it
- 59:27Speaker 3: was just like, can I get you a drink?
- 59:28Speaker 4: And she's like, is this one cold?
- 59:31Speaker 3: That was the response, and it was like, yes, it
- 59:34Speaker 3: came out of the fridge.
- 59:35Speaker 4: Things tend to be cold. There.
- 59:37Speaker 2: There's a lot of hostility and Muzzy, Yeah, it's just.
- 59:40Speaker 3: It's the judgment and like immediate just everything that you're
- 59:46Speaker 3: doing is wrong.
- 59:47Speaker 1: We don't see the other sisters taken in Muzzy by
- 59:49Speaker 1: the way, probably because she's around bitch.
- 59:52Speaker 2: Yeah, where are they?
- 59:53Speaker 1: Where are they?
- 59:54Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 59:54Speaker 1: So so they're having this conversation, right and they're talking
- 59:58Speaker 1: about how awful he was when she was pregnant, and
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: she's just like, I never had a baby shower like
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: we would.
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: She told the story about going to the gap and
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: she's buying clothes for the sister's baby and not hers,
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: and she said, you know, you didn't know if I
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: would ever have another pregnancy, but you made sure that
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: this one was not a good pregnancy, not a happy pregnancy,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: and Muzzy goes, well, I was miserable trying to hide it.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: How do you think I felt? And in the talking head,
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: Bromwin says, my mother is convinced that the person that
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: was most hurt by my pregnancy was her. Yep, you
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: know that's right, and so and she had said earlier,
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: you know, like when I'm parenting, I think a lot
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: about how I don't want to do it like my mother.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: And she's like, does that mean I'm like, no, that's growth.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: So yeah, and then her mother implies that she had
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: to babysit Gwen. She had to watch Gwen, her own grandchild,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: and like if she didn't, then what would have happened
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: to her? And Brahma goes, if I didn't have you
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: to watch her, I just would have gotten a second
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: job or something like I would have hustled and figured
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: out how to take care of her. She was like,
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: I don't know what you would have done. You just
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: would have been on the street. And she's like, Mom,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: to act like I would have had to put my
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: kid in foster care is like not true and really dark.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: And her mom's like, well, I don't know what you
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: would have done without me. You refuse to put her
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: up for adoption, blah blah blah. Can you imagine hearing
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: your grandmother talk this.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: Way about you. No, she was having a real thank
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: God for me moment. Well, you know, like she will
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: never let braun Winn forget what she thinks were her sacrifices.
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: And that's probably why she's living in this house right now,
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: because she holds it over her head that she helped
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: her so much.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: Right, But for Gwen to hear grandmother talk like this
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: about her, as, wow, I didn't know I was such
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: a piece of shit burden to you, like I had
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: any choice of being born, you know. So Mom says,
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: you know, I got to tell you something, Browhen. Just
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: because I don't say you're wonderful doesn't mean I don't
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: think you are. I just had to be careful to
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: be sure I don't say it because I don't want
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: you to think you're too good. And Brom was like
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: wow wow. I mean Brom was like, camera's right here
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: and you don't even care, like you just wow wow.
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: This was really toxic.
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: Yeah, we should get them on the uh couple was
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: the couple's therapy, same thing that Farah and her mom
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: and family therapy one. Yeah, there would be a couple
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: of seasons worth of stuff. I think probably that we
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: could get out of this.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: That's wow. So I would be Now, I know that
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: Rom's dad is you know, not well or Alzheimer's or whatever.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: So but I would have liked to have known her
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: relationship with her dad because he was high up in
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: the church. So it's like mom was trying to protect
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: dad's reputation in the church. But was dad so mean
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: to Bronwin as well? You know she talks about him
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: a little bit more warmly.
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: Well yeah, and I mean like in so personal experience
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: and then also just like researching for like family system
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: sort of stuff, like usually if there is somebody who's
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: kind of more the agitator and the Beader, there could
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: be somebody who's just more of an enabler or like
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: a passive enabler, and so like her dad could have
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: been that where he kind of receives a little bit
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: of that as well, same thing like Muzzy dishes it
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: out to everybody here, and then that's where Bronwyn has
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: a connection with her dad. But it's like that's kind
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: of the tough part of that whole dynamic. Then too,
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: is where it's like I think Bronwin's searching for like
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: a redo of her experience with her mom, because now
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: Gwen's like the similar age.
- 1:03:47Speaker 4: That Bronwynn was, and so now she's kind.
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: Of like, here's your chance to like make it up
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: to me and like prove to me that you're not.
- 1:03:57Speaker 4: A horrible person.
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: And then I don't think it's working out the way
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: that Brian wouldn't expect, Like she was really hoping to
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: see something positive out of this and like still waiting.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Muzzy's like, listen, it affected me. It was so embarrassing
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: when you were pregnant, Like who cares that Gwen's nowt eighteen,
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: Let's still talk about it, you know. So now we
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: go to Meredith and the Angk meeting up. As she
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: drives up, It's very strange because Agk is like, look
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: at you driving. I was like, s Merada, just get
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: a driver's license? Like she just got bought missfoot, Like
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: did she just learn how to drive?
- 1:04:38Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: I get the feeling that maybe Meredith's not supposed to
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: drive on some of the medications that she's on.
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: Either that are like, yeah, she rents places when she's there.
- 1:04:50Speaker 4: Did she rent a car she was normally.
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: Taking ubers everywhere or something because she doesn't.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: It was weird. It was strange, look at you driving?
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: And she goes, yeah, this Kina's got a cavy art cooler.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: I was like, probably for juice boxes. But sure, it's fine.
- 1:05:08Speaker 4: We can use it for whatever you like. You can
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: use it for everybody.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: You can put your beer in there. No, don't do that.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: So Angie tells us that it was Angie this if
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: I said, Heather, I did not mean to say that.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: Angie said, look at you driving, And she says she
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: and Meredith have been working on their relationship, and because
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: I just need to let Meredith know that Lisa is
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: not the Laverne to her Shirley like she is not
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: because you know, Meredith Lisa have always been like the
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: corner stone of the show. And then of course Lisa
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: had that hot mic moment, and since then they're friends.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: But it's like, you know, it's kind of like you
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: gotta deal with Muzzy. You gotta like, don't get too close,
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: right right, So Angie tells her, tells Meredith, you know,
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: in the past, when you and I were not in
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: a good place, I just wanted to let you know
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: Lisa called me and encourage me to dig up dirt
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: on people in your family. Gave me names and certain
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: issues bankruptcy, shoplifting. I just want you to know she's
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: doing that, she's doing your research on everyone, true or not,
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: and that she's holding the information. E Meredith goes, but
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: why would she do that to me when she and
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: I were getting along, call you and tell you to
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: dig stuff up on me to use against me, dig
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: up dirt on family members, which is not true. I
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: was like, she didn't even know what it is.
- 1:06:31Speaker 4: She is not true?
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: Denied it. Yeah, I was like, who shoplifted? Who had
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: a bankruptcy? I'd like to know? Not true? And she
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: says and you know, I'm gonna have to talk to
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: her about this. And she says, okay, good because she
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: said it word for word.
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: I'm counting on it. Yeah, Like, I want you to
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: bring it up. You need to bring this up.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: But she said word for word. I was like, does
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: she have it in text? Does she have it on
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: a voicemail she record her without her knowledge? Is Utah
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: a two party state?
- 1:07:04Speaker 4: Like?
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: How does she know for sure that she said it definitive?
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: She said yeah, And Meredith says, this is so hard
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: to believe. And Angie said things in the past, this
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: is disturbing, and I'll get to the bottom of it.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: And then we said next week they have some sort
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: of outdoor luncheon situation and the two of them start
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: screaming at each other. So maybe she does.
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: I mean, I think that Angie realized that when Lisa
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: sent her assistant over to reclaim the Great Wolf Lodge products, Yes.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: They would really sell a Great Wolf Lodge. That would be.
- 1:07:42Speaker 4: Yes, it's that's who That's what you need.
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: You need a good brand, deal partnership.
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: Not spending enough time on the marketing.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: No, But like I think Karas sas whatever the straight.
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: Yes, yes, but like the I think Angie knew immediately
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: as soon as that happened. She was like, oh, we're
- 1:08:03Speaker 3: at war, okay, So like now she knows I need
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: to go for Lisa's allies first before I try like
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: a full assault here, and so like that's what she's
- 1:08:18Speaker 3: bracing for. I don't know how Mary Cosby gets so
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: upset with Angie, though, I'm very concerned.
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: About this, surprised.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: I didn't like that clip of her taking off or whatever.
- 1:08:29Speaker 4: Good.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: But last time I watched What Happens Love, they asked
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: a question about what did you think about the allegations
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: about Angie using somebody else's money to go on vacation
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: or something, and Mary Cosey goes, well, that's not true.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: So I was like, okay, they must.
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: Be back together, still defending.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, maybe.
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: This is just like a light here was a brief moment.
- 1:08:49Speaker 3: Yeah, light something that happened, because I mean she got
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: upset with her end of last season two. On their vacation,
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: they had kind of an argument, but then that bond
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: did them a little bit tighter too.
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: So then Tiffany's luncheon, yeah.
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: A little bit a little bit there. The breakfast at
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: Tiffany's thing.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: Yeah, that took me a second. I was like, what, Oh,
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: and then we forget about the bad bangs? Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: never forget It took me a second. Yeah yeah yeah.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. Well listen, you guys. There was so
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: many like pivotal scenes in this episode that are going
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: to be so important for the rest of the season.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: I'm so glad I got to talk to you guys
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: about it, because normally I just sort of gloss over, like,
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: here's what happened to Miami, Here's what happened in Saul
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: like OC. So I'm really glad we got to do
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: like a full breakdown and that you guys are as
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: into it as I am.
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, this is definitely a set up episode for
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: I think all the drama that's to come for the
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: rest of the season. So it's a good one.
- 1:09:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: And is Muzzy gonna go back from whence she came?
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: Or is Muzzy here to say?
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: I hope we see Muzzy have to pack her bags
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: like that would be the highlight of the season for me.
- 1:09:56Speaker 4: I want Todd and Muzzy to have it out some where. Yeah,
- 1:10:00Speaker 4: Like I.
- 1:10:01Speaker 3: Need to see I just need to get an idea
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: of what that is, like just even.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: Just a dinner table thing briefly, and that we could
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: see if he hates.
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: Her, like even with him, yeah, like he's heading out
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: on a business trip or something. And then all it's
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: gonna take is one sentence to get a pretty good
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: read as far as what's.
- 1:10:21Speaker 4: Going on between them.
- 1:10:22Speaker 3: Mm hmmm.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: You know what, it would give me vibes of a
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: a Tom Girardi and Erica, like I was talking Erica.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: It would be And that's how Todd talks to bron Win,
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: you know, although he says he saw himself on TV
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: and knows he needs to do better, but we haven't
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: seen it. But if he snaps at Muzzy that way,
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: like what if Muzzy came in the kitchen was like,
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: you guys had a coffee because I was going to
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: get some coffee and he's like, you don't live here, Muzzy,
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: you know you? It would be that kind of a
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: It would be. It would be like that, right, where's
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: my Starbucks mug?
- 1:10:56Speaker 4: Yeah? Who moved this Starbucks mug?
- 1:11:00Speaker 3: She's just been breaking them slowly, just constantly just chipping
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: them away, breaking the handles, off.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: He's like, Muzzy, you know, I'm never going back to Singapore.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: How am I going to get that mug? Yeah, listen,
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: there's a lot of scenarios. But I because she put
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: her dad in a place close to her house. But
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: is that where dad is now permanently staying, so mom
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: needs to be closed or does a temporary fixed to
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: dad have an accident or something?
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: Well, Muzzy, didn't she say? Muzzy also had a medical issue,
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: a medical scare that she was going through, and then
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: also her dad time through Alzheimer's. Yeah, and that progressing
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: and they both needed care at the same time. But
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: it seems like, you know, Muzzy's back to her normal self,
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: so why not?
- 1:11:51Speaker 4: Yeah, she really settled in there.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: I'd like to meet Bromin's sisters.
- 1:11:58Speaker 4: Yeah, have we seen them on camera before.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: I'd like to see if they have a good relationship
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: with Muzzy. Is Muzzy okay to them and it's just
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: awful lebron One.
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: Maybe for the holidays or something, if they have people over,
- 1:12:12Speaker 3: that could.
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: Be an interesting scene.
- 1:12:14Speaker 4: Yeah, it'd be interesting.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: To get like like the Richard sisters in the kitchen,
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: like talking about Big Kathy like it would be like
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: Braunwin and her sisters talking about Muzzy.
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, where we're going to unload her next, it's
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: your turn.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: Your turn, Go ahead and traumatize your children for a month.
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: That's it. Now, tell everybody where they can find you, guys,
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: Corey and Carly, tell everybody where they can find you. Again,
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: what you're covering so we know what to drop in on.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: Don't if you don't want to have to watch that that?
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: What did that?
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: What's the show called Special Forces Survivor?
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: I was gonna say it's called surviv what they called pray?
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: Go ahead, tell everybody.

- 1:13:32Speaker 1: Yeah, and let me ask you about your social media
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: because I went to tag you on Instagram this week
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: and there was no place to tag.
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: Yeah, we went out.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: I went out of Instagram try to make to make
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: sure I had and missed it. I went back into Instagram,
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: so you're not on it.
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: No, I think that we may need to make an Instagram.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: You know, back in when we were just surviving Sister Wives,
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: there was not a lot of content on Instagram about
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: sister Wives. But that was five years ago.
- 1:14:05Speaker 3: Yeah. Well that was when our only social media was
- 1:14:08Speaker 3: we were on Reddit and we were on Twitter, and
- 1:14:10Speaker 3: so it's like, well now that's not even a platform anymore.
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: So times have changed, and then yeah, we're kind of
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: we bounced around a little bit, but mostly we're on TikTok.
- 1:14:20Speaker 3: That's the main social media outlet right now, and YouTube
- 1:14:26Speaker 3: as well.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's Surviving Pod. It's Surviving Pod on TikTok.
- 1:14:30Speaker 4: Right Yeah, yep.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: Okay, Well we'll do a reel about this and I'll
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: put it on TikTok and tag you cool. Awesome, because yeah,
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: I forget a lot. I put this stuff on Instagram
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: and then ker it'll go did you put that on
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: TikTok too, I'm like, I.
- 1:14:45Speaker 3: Forgot, It's everywhere youtubek Instagram. So yeah, I think that
- 1:14:52Speaker 3: was what we were dreading was it's another place to post,
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: and we were like, well it's we probably should though,
- 1:14:58Speaker 3: but yeah.
- 1:14:59Speaker 4: But thank you so much for having us on.
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: Obviously huge fans of the Pink Shade podcast from forever ago.
- 1:15:05Speaker 3: I know we were talking about pain in the pod
- 1:15:07Speaker 3: last time we were recording.
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: And that was that's crazy.
- 1:15:10Speaker 4: It's like, it feels like a while ago.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: But yeah, that's crazy. That's nuts, that's nuts, that's nuts.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: Since you guys listen to that. I literally was looking
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: over here to be like, what could I show them
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: that I have. I've got pain and then I've got
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: pain in the pod stuff right here. I've got stickers.
- 1:15:26Speaker 4: Yes, oh yeah.
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: I've got snickers. Like what am I going to know?
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: What am I going to what am I going to
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: use that for?
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: Maybe Maraths Marx can sell them in our story.
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: Yeah, that'll be the past code to get into the
- 1:15:40Speaker 3: Kaffar speakeasy.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: I will tell you the second time Ingrid went, she
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: brought me back of Meredith Mark's like post it notepad
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: that I think she took off the counter when the
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: girl wasn't looking.
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: It's like a prescription pad.
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: Yeah, she's used to that. That's fitting. That's fitting. Okay, guys, everybody,
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: I would listen to Corey and Carly they do all
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: the Sister Wives stuff, and go check out their TikTok
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: as well, and one day they'll have Instagram and we'll
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: tag them on there as well. All right, thanks guys,
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: thank you,
