  We're on part three of making a guilt-free drop series. Here's Ray.

  There's a simple story in our household that my wife Annie used to share often.
• 0:43
  And over time, it becomes a fun joke among our kids.
• 0:47
  It's a little funny guilt story in a way. Before we got married,
• 0:52
  Annie said I promised her a trip to New York and other places on the East Coast.
• 0:57
  Places she got to know through American series or movies. I honestly don't remember
• 1:03
  having that conversation.
• 1:05
  But whenever she brings it up, I just smiled.
• 1:09
  It's become a family joke. We all know it's just one of many fun stories we share.
• 1:16
  But deep down, I felt a bit guilty for not being able to fulfill that promise to her.
• 1:23
  On a more serious note, when I truly understood what Jesus Christ did for me,
• 1:28
  I felt guilt for having ignored Him in my life for so long.
• 1:33
  I realized how much I had drifted away from His authority, and I remember many
• 1:40
  moments where I questioned God during difficult, challenging times.
• 1:46
  As I've gotten to know more of God's attributes and the example of Jesus Christ,
• 1:52
  that guilt has gradually turned into submission and surrender.
• 1:57
  I'm forever grateful to God for saving me and coming into my life.
• 2:03
  Simply knowing Him and maintaining a relationship with Him already makes me blessed.
• 2:09
  Any blessing that comes our way, whether in our family or personally,
• 2:15
  I see extra blessing from him.
• 2:19
  And when Satan tries to discourage me by reminding me of my past mistakes and
• 2:27
  wrong decision, I cling to the powerful truth in Romans 8 verse 1.
• 2:32
  Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
• 2:39
  Fellow husband, we carry a tough but important role before God.
• 2:45
  We're not just called to build marriage rooted in Him.
• 2:49
  We are also tasked with being spiritual leaders for our families.
• 2:55
  Raising future generations of husbands and wives, God made it clear that it's
• 3:01
  our responsibility to teach our children and our children's children about Him.
• 3:06
  Satan doesn't like a family that honors and prays God.
• 3:11
  From the very beginning, in the Garden of Eden, he's been working to cause division,
• 3:18
  to distort God's plan, and to turn our hearts away from His authority and commands.
• 3:25
  Even today, he's busy deceiving and tempting us so that we might fall out of
• 3:32
  God's good plan for us and our families.
• 3:35
  As Deuteronomy 4, verse 9 warns, Only give heed to yourself and keep your soul diligently,
• 3:44
  so that you do not forget the things which your eyes have seen,
• 3:50
  and they do not depart from your heart all the days of your lives,
• 3:56
  but make them known to your son and your grandsons.

  So let's nurture our relationship with God.
• 4:05
  Through Jesus Christ, and continually invite the Holy Spirit to work deeply within us.

  Our role as husband and father is vital, and God's empowerment makes all the difference.
