Transcript
- Prashanthi Nuthi: While driving to Costco, I made a stop at a traffic light. I noticed a car in front of me which had a very big dent next to its bump. It caught my attention not because of the dent, but because there was a tiny little hammer stuck at the center of the dent. It looked as though... The Marvel character had thrown his hammer at the time. We couldn't stop laughing. The hammer did not fix the dent, but it certainly changed the way I saw it. I did not feel sorry for the driver. In fact, I felt appreciation for the driver for his sense of humor. Then I thought about leadership. whenever things go wrong, my immediate instinct is to fix the issue even before anybody starts talking about it. Then I realized the leaders I respect and look up to do not rush to fix the problems. But they are the ones who say, here's what happened, here's what I learned, and here's the solution to fix it. They don't believe in perfection, but they believe in building the trust. So here's the micro-boost for you today. What is that one situation that has gone wrong that you're rushing to fix it and cover it up? Is it really worth it? you rushing to fix it? Or is it a moment to build trust and be real about the debt? Remember small actions, big impact. Until we meet again next time, let's keep making impact together. Thank you.
