- 0:53[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome back to the show, Sarah.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_01]: Hello, thanks for having me.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's a day today, isn't it?
- 0:58[SPEAKER_01]: Because we found out that Gloria Steinem passed away.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, 92 years old.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_01]: You know what?
- 1:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna say it doesn't make me sad because she was 92 and she accomplished so much.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_01]: She was an amazing human being because of her, you and I have the platforms we do.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_01]: She made a difference in such a monumental way and she lived a full life and I think
- 1:26[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I mean, I'm going to grieve not being able to hear her anymore or any of anything that she's got to say, but she was 92.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_01]: Man, if I was 92, I'd be like, okay, it's time to go to my soul home now.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't even realize she was 90 to my wife was like, yeah, she was 92 and I was like, holy.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_01]: How?
- 1:44[SPEAKER_01]: She looked incredible for her.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_01]: She did.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_01]: She did and she wasn't incredible.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, so we've lost some major people.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we lost Dolly, we lost Comperi and you know, I was sad when I when Dolly died.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, she was AB and that's still a good long life.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_00]: Um, you know, I mean, it felt too soon.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_01]: It did.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_01]: It did feel too soon.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_01]: But I know she was sick.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm sure that while I can't, you know, I don't know what she felt about it.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_01]: But I, you know, I was sad because Dolly, I mean, they're, they were both such amazing women.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_01]: But there was just something about Dolly, um, you know, it's funny.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the maga tried to claim her and they shouldn't because she's not maga.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, everyone loved her.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_01]: Everyone, even Maga, they were confused and they thought she was one of them because she had the accent, but that was about it.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_00]: I know, she was the true embodiment of a Christian.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_00]: Like, yes, what a Christian should be.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_00]: And what they think they might be.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_00]: That is, she is, no, she was.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_00]: She was the true embodiment of us.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, and I think, like, for instance, I was not raised with any religion, and I'm not religious at all.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't have a problem as long as you don't weaponize it and try to force it on me, because I have my certain beliefs to stem or what I feel is going on.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_01]: And I talk about it, but I don't force it.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_01]: I don't expect other people to take it on.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_01]: And if they do, they do.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_01]: If they, I mean, and mine is so very specific.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 3:15[SPEAKER_01]: you know, I think we all have our own ways of saying things.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_01]: It's not an organized religion point of view.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's more of like, okay, I've done some digging and I came up with these things and it this seems like it resonates with me.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_01]: So that's how I do mine.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, I don't have any problem with people who are religious as long as they just want to be.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_01]: Don't force it on me.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_00]: My whole thing is like, and what I think the first amendment is it's like, you were free to do whatever you want as long as you're not hurting anybody else.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I look at Martin Scheme, he's another one.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_01]: He's a Catholic, and he genuinely believes that we need to help each other.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_01]: And he thankfully, he's a Democrat, but I mean, I know Bob, like, he grew up Catholic,
- 3:58[SPEAKER_01]: You know, my mother grew up Catholic, my grandmother was kind, and it was so cool about my grandmother, you know, she was a devout Catholic, but she was, she never, ever, ever, ever weaponized it.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_01]: She never told anybody that they should do anything, and she didn't really talk about her religion unless you asked her, and it was interesting because when I, my mom moved to California, we were living in Baltimore, and then in 1977 when I was nine,
- 4:25[SPEAKER_01]: my mom drove across country and established her cell in California and then I came out you know right before the school year.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_01]: So I stayed the summer with my grandmother in Baltimore and my grandmother didn't have a car and we would walk to church every Sunday.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_01]: On this one Sunday I don't know why but we were like downtown somewhere for something.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_01]: So we went to a downtown church and it was a different church than the one she had usually, you know, she usually went to and there was a what was it up the word that just came into my mind was not the right word.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_01]: I was going to say prostitute but substitute.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, a substitute priest, Jesus would have loved you anyway.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_01]: Not a prostitute piece, priest.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, so this substitute priest told everybody that the regular priest was homesick.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: And then if we didn't pray for him, we were all going to go to hell and I remember I was nine and I thought, what a load.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_01]: And my grandmother, I remember when we left, she was very unhappy with that.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_01]: She didn't like, she wasn't somebody who would have talked to me.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_01]: I was nine.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think she would have complained to me about the priest, but I could tell she was like, no, I don't like that guy.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_01]: But so give me a break.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_01]: We're all going to go to hell now.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_00]: This is so stupid.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_00]: I think we're all in hell right now.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's honestly what it feels like.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like we're in the upside down.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's, I've been battling local Democrats in my own city and it's like, I feel like we're in the upside down.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_00]: I don't understand.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so tell me about that.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_01]: Like how are you battling local Democrats?
- 6:00[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_00]: I, I'm against flop cameras as a lot of people are, um, not because of the work that they can be used for for the police because that's a wonderful and great thing.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_00]: It's about the company and the technology.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_00]: basically tracking us wherever we go, and then having that data and selling that data.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_00]: So I've been basically how to, I started a big movement in my local community, organizing it.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_00]: I tried to take a to-din leadership first.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_00]: They rejected me, literally.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, good, John Dummies.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_00]: What a bunch of dumb stupid.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and then I was like, okay, I guess I was going to try to do it the quiet way, but now I got to be loud.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, so I organized community against, um, and I'm moving against flock and trying to get it out of our city.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_00]: And we're getting there right now.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of the cameras are paused and it sits on the outskirts now, but
- 7:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's been a battle, and the Democrats battling you, though.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_00]: They're just not letting you, they want to keep them a lot of them.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_00]: It's wild to me, because I don't understand it.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm actually working across the aisle with Republicans to get these turned off.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_00]: And there are several Democrats who don't want them.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_00]: And I've been working with them as well.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_00]: But there is this group that just doesn't want to get rid of them.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_00]: And I can't figure out why.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so that's what I've been dealing with and interesting.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's making up a lot of my time.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I think, you know, I see this fighting and everything on our side.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_01]: And I have so many thoughts about it and you and I have discussed it too, but I think that the bottom line here, the way I look at it, I should say, is every generation,
- 7:52[SPEAKER_01]: is going to change things up.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_01]: And for the longest time, we've had a certain kind of country.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_01]: We've had a certain kind of party system.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_01]: And over that time, unfortunately, some really negative things have happened because of Republicans, like citizens united.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_01]: There have been a number of things that have come down that I think that make it very difficult now
- 8:23[SPEAKER_01]: And then sometimes Democrats might benefit from it, right?
- 8:27[SPEAKER_01]: So like, let's just say big money.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, well, the Republicans want the big money, well, then the Democrats have to have big money because they can't compete unless they have that money.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_01]: So it's not that the Democrats are the bad guys per se, but it's like they have become dependent on the thing that we hate.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_01]: And so,
- 8:46[SPEAKER_01]: things are going to change, right?
- 8:47[SPEAKER_01]: Because everything changes.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_01]: Nothing stays the same forever.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_01]: And what I'm seeing here mainly because of the argument about Israel, which I don't really want to get into.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, what I'm seeing is that there is a certain kind of Democrat that wants to kind of stay back.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_01]: And do things like we always have.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_01]: And they don't want the new blood, the new, and I mean, take a look at Marky going, like running against Seth, is it molten?
- 9:18[SPEAKER_01]: Is that how you say it?
- 9:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_01]: Um, you know, Marky is an older man, but he has a progressive ideology.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what the voters overwhelmingly voted for.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_01]: Specifically, you know, I know that molten through trans under the bus because he, I guess he lectured Democrats on, you know, on the trans issue.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_00]: And they came out for flop cameras.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not saying that that's why he lost.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_00]: He lost also because of the transition and much other stuff.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_00]: But, um, I thought I tried to tell local Democrats, this is going to be an election issue.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_00]: And if you have someone who's like, especially like, very moderate, who like, like, you can't
- 9:58[SPEAKER_00]: to that.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_01]: And so, well, we are literally seeing, and I am a progressive.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_01]: So clearly, I don't, you know, there's the far left.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_01]: There's the Hassan Piker.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_01]: Fuck that guy.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_01]: I hate that guy.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_01]: He is our Rush Limbaugh, which I want to talk about in a minute, because Limbaugh and said that.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_01]: And I think she's right.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_01]: But regardless, you know, he might say a few things that I agree with.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure Rush Limbaugh said some things that I agreed with, you know, because we're human.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_01]: So occasionally, we're going to agree on certain things, maybe not all the political stuff, but we're going to agree.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe I don't really know so much everything that Hassan Piker has said.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_01]: I know some of the things.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I think he said America deserved 911 and then he took that back.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_01]: But he said some really harsh shit.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_01]: And then I know that other some other Democrats specifically
- 10:46[SPEAKER_01]: Progressive, but not all.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_01]: Not all progressives are kind of, you know, campaigning with him or talking to him and he's getting a lot of attention.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_01]: He's getting a lot of power.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_01]: But it's not like he's he's not advising the democratic party.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_01]: But, but, but there is this new group of progressives who are winning, right?
- 11:04[SPEAKER_01]: They're winning.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't give a shit with their fucking name.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_01]: I wish we could change the name because everybody argues about the name instead of focusing on what these people are fighting for and not really gets on my nerves.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_01]: But they're winning because people are fed up and they're voting for them.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_01]: And then you see this, you know, like old school to kind of Democrat, not liking it and getting
- 11:29[SPEAKER_01]: a man he used to listen to this show, his name was Ziggy Blue and I think he was probably in his later 70s and he was super progressive.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_01]: That's how I want to be.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to be the old person who clings to the past and says it has to be the way it because that's never how it works exactly.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_01]: We evolve and you know what, maybe some of these progressive ideas are going to backfire but a lot of them aren't.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_01]: And
- 11:53[SPEAKER_01]: and the ideas that we've had in the past have also been successful and some of them have backfired.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that I wish that we were, I think that because we are all so frazzled and stressed out by everything we're seeing with Republicans, it's instead of uniting, I think everybody's just freaking the fuck out, but mostly I do think it's online and that's what I want to ask you about because, um,
- 12:19[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I kind of pulled back after the 24 election.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_01]: I don't have as many people on my show.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_01]: I'm very selective about who I want to talk to.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_01]: And there's all kinds of reasons for it.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_01]: And every day that I go look for new guests, I'm like, oh, I don't want to talk about that one now.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_01]: And so it's like, and maybe they've been on my show before.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_01]: But there's this whole online community of political discussion, and then there's the United States of America, and what I had kind of determined was, while I think we all have individual power, I can post something and another even if one person learns something new based on my post, okay, then it's worth it.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_01]: But what I had determined was our sarcasm and our humor and our effort didn't get Kamala over the line.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm not saying I think they cheated or I know they cheated, you know, I mean, they cheated illegally and legally.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_01]: So there was that.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_01]: But it didn't get her over the line and I just felt, well, then what difference does this make?
- 13:26[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you know, why am I trying so hard when I only have a certain amount of power?
- 13:32[SPEAKER_01]: So do you think that what we see online?
- 13:37[SPEAKER_01]: How representative is the online conversation compared to actual voters?
- 13:44[SPEAKER_00]: I think, and I've really been noticing this lately by working with my community, because I've been so involved in national politics for so long that I hadn't really been focusing on local efforts.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_00]: But what I find is I actually being out there with the people talking to everybody.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_00]: We're so much closer on issues than we'd ever cared to admit.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_00]: And you know me, like, I'm pretty center.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_00]: You know that.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_00]: I can lean progressive on certain issues.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_00]: It's just remarkable to me that I think there's a lot of like rage-baiting and money for clicks and like even this whole trans debate around so if you're cutting him and the WMBI.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_00]: She's a reserve player.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_00]: She's very good, but she's a reserve player.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_00]: She's not a starter and she was able to sell her jerseys by rage-baiting MAGA by the trans debate.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_00]: And it was a really
- 14:42[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that's what's happening is like the online world is starting to meet the actual world and we're kind of, I don't know, that's good.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_00]: But I do think that there is a difference between what we can say online and what we can do in person.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I think, you know, okay, for instance, so one of the things and mainstream media is certainly not helping this because they don't help anything because they're owned by oligarchs.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, so I don't watch CNN, I fucking hate watching CNN, and I always have, it's just not my, I don't watch any cable news anymore, but I never watch CNN.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_01]: So I guess they had their little panel and lean and go and politics girl was on it.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_01]: And I guess they were going on about fucking Hassan Piker and she goes on so tired of it.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_01]: On us to God, the only reason we're talking about Hassan Piker is because he's on the left.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_01]: We have had right-wing shot jocks for years.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_01]: We had freaking rush limbaugh bringing about every time a gay person died of AIDS.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_01]: your women are my body, my choice.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_01]: And then we've got these right-wing Christian zealots who said women shouldn't vote and we're nothing but vessels.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_01]: They are all in the right-wing, and we do not ask every single Republican candidate and sitting person if they approve of them or if they should just own them.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_01]: And then the skyrock, I guess it's Rothman, is a guy I don't know.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_01]: said I'm old enough to remember when every Republican in Congress was asked to respond to things Rush Limbaugh said and then McGowan says he got a presidential medal of freedom from the president we have now so please stop and it's like if I had an applause machine here he's funny yeah
- 16:26[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like so I don't like fucking Hassan Piker either and just because he is on the left and he's spouting a bunch of fucking bullshit doesn't mean the democratic party is all taking and and that's what CNN is acting like the democratic party is following his fucking orders and they're not there's a few Democrats who like him I think but you know
- 16:49[SPEAKER_01]: What are you supposed to fucking do about that?
- 16:51[SPEAKER_01]: How are they going to govern?
- 16:52[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, like you look at that, I would vote for him in a heartbeat, right?
- 16:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_01]: I know that there are people who don't like him.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_01]: And the way I look at it is, I get it if you don't like him, I get it.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_01]: But you have to be in a fucking adult about this and say, it's him or it's the fascist.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_01]: And exactly the one thing about that guy
- 17:18[SPEAKER_01]: Not piker, I was supposed to say piker.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_01]: How do you say his last name?
- 17:21[SPEAKER_01]: El, El Sayed.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's right.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I just don't want to mispronounce it.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_01]: I am, I mispronounce everything, so.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_01]: But, um, he's not had a chance to prove himself yet.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_01]: We haven't given him a chance to prove himself.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_01]: We do know what to expect from a fascist.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_01]: We know that.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_01]: So I am willing, even though, I mean, I don't have this big problem with him.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_01]: But I, I just, you know, I don't know a lot about him.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_01]: I so far, he's really good at this trolling Donald Trump and pissing off Donald Trump.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_01]: And, and I think that, you know, he's got the progressive ideas.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_01]: I, I would look at what Mom Donnie has done.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_01]: He's made New Yorker's happy.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_01]: And so I just want to see what happens because we've got this new energy and the thing is this energy is coming from years and years and years you've got the occupy Wall Street movement that was happening nothing nothing was going to be done as things were going before we were just going to continue to complain and go we got to get money on a politics but it wasn't going to happen it just wasn't happening but then we caught you know here comes the destroyer
- 18:28[SPEAKER_01]: the fucking pedophile rapist destroyer and he's destroying everything and providing us an opportunity to rebuild it and get rid of things like citizens united.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_01]: So that's, you know, I, I look at this and I say, if if Siad gets in and he's shitty, well, there's going to be another election and we're Democrats, Democrats kick out the assholes.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 18:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's like we don't look at it to swallow.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_01]: Look at, whoa, well, as soon as we find, I mean, we're going to get rid of federal and as soon as we have the chance.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_00]: And I think there will be obviously there'll be people primary and so that's their role.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_00]: That's what we do on the Democratic side is like, if you're not good, we replace you.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so I'm not worried about him.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_01]: If he's a terrible, if, you know, if he gets elected in these terrible, well, well, we'll be stuck with him for a while and then we'll change it up.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_01]: But he's, he's never going to be a fascist.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like, you know, and I just, it's really bothering me that so many people are getting, it's a purity test.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, and they don't want to admit it, people don't want to admit it when they're engaging in a purity thing.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_01]: But they are.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_01]: And so, you know, yeah.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_00]: And what they're doing to like, like a lot of these older people in politics and they're cleaning on the power.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_00]: Mm-hmm.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_00]: What is going to happen is like, they cling on for so long.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_00]: Like Nancy Pelosi, she's stepping down.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_00]: She's like, okay.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_00]: You stayed through a transition period.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_00]: And now she's, she's, she's read the writing on the wall, but she's still a leader within the party.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_00]: She's made them, you know, I love her.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_01]: So.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_01]: So.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_01]: So.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_00]: But what's happening is a lot of these older folks are clinging on the power and it's happening here locally.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_00]: And we have like 80 or old sitting on our board of all theirs.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_00]: And it's what's happening is.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_00]: They're at a touch, a lot of them, not all of them, a lot of them, and there is this new younger generation that's coming up and they're not transitioning power.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_00]: They're not being leading by example or bringing it up younger people, they're holding on to their power and what's going to happen is,
- 20:36[SPEAKER_00]: They are eventually going to pass away because that is what happens with life, and it's going to lead huge Power vacuums all over the place and so that's what these Democrats They aren't they are thinking only and solely about themselves In their careers and not about the broader community and the nation as a whole
- 20:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah and let's not forget like we've got these leaders right we've got political leaders in order to be a political leader for the most part you need a gigantic ego you just need one right because I know people say they don't like it but you need to have a big ego and to hold public office because you're representing all these people and you have to believe that you can do it you have to have enough belief in yourself and you know more than that you got to have a little
- 21:25[SPEAKER_01]: kind of crosses over into what you were just talking about holding on to power, you know, Susan Collins promised, promised one term, like five million years ago, and so, you know, she, she's fucking people.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_01]: And so, you know, I just think that no matter what, with all of the squawking, providing we're able to, you know, get democracy back, which I do think we will.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's a hard fight, though.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_01]: and we have to take it seriously, there's going to be change because like you said, the older generation is dying and I don't say that to be crude.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_01]: I was just talking to my mother this morning, you know, my mother's 80 years old and or she's 79, I should say.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_01]: She would kill me if I said she was 80.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_01]: But she, you know, we were just talking about the fact that Gloria Steinem died and, you know, and then all these boomers are dying and I said,
- 22:18[SPEAKER_01]: people are saying oh my god all these people are dying and it's like but boomers are a massive group they're a massive group so there's gonna be a lot of them you know in the coming years that are gonna die because they're all in their fucking 80s and 90s, 70s, 80s and 90s so I mean same thing's gonna happen with us right you know gen X is gonna reach that time and then
- 22:40[SPEAKER_01]: That's what's but the thing is is generate the boomers their massive they have a huge population.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, we're going to see more of them die because there's just so many of them and you saw a lot of them coming to power like in their or like be elected like in their 40s.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_00]: or early 50s or something like that.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_00]: And I feel like that's an appropriate age to be.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_00]: And I agree.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_01]: I agree.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_00]: The lifetime of experience, you're prepared.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_00]: You're prepared for that role to represent others.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_00]: And then they stay for 30 years.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_00]: And you're like, okay, thank you for your service.
- 23:19[UNKNOWN]: Yeah, really.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_01]: Well, and also, you know, boomers and Gen Xers have not had the same experience as millennials and Gen Zers.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_01]: You know, they grew up.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_01]: in a completely different world.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_01]: So they have a different idea of the world.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_01]: They just come from a different perspective.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_01]: And I know that each generation feels like, you know, no, we know we know better.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_01]: Not necessarily, you know, when you've grown up with the, you know, all the school debt, my mother didn't go to college.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_01]: She was not aware that she could have afforded it.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_01]: No one told her and she just didn't know.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_01]: And it's a shame.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, my mom eventually did go to college later, but when she was younger, you know, she's the kind of person that she just got straight days.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_01]: She just always, she was a great student.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_01]: She always got straight days.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_01]: She would have flourished in college, but she's like, I literally could have just gone and gotten like a part-time job and paid for my college.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_01]: That's not what our generation understands even Gen X, but millennials?
- 24:21[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_00]: My women is that.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_00]: So like, yeah, yeah, I've got local to a state college and I'm still paying off my college debt.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_00]: Like, and I mean, like, I have like maybe a year or two left.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm gonna be close to 50.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_00]: And then like, that's not, that's not okay.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_01]: No, so therefore we've got this new crop of people who say, hey, and I agree with you, I don't think we should, I don't mind if somebody starts a little younger climbing up the ropes, you know, getting the attention and getting the experience, not attention.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, experience and getting the understanding of how government really works and all of that, but the bigger, you know, if you're going to be in the house of representatives or if you're going to be, you know, a senator or whatever,
- 25:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think you should have some life experience behind you and some work experience behind you.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_01]: but you know, people today, young people of today have so many things to be concerned about whether it's climate, you know, the whole thing with education and not only right now is the school debt part of it.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_01]: It's, I mean, can they even get an education because Republicans want to get rid of fucking education.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_01]: And so, I mean, they have been trying to do this for years, they've been defunding education for decades.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_01]: And then it never gets, you know, the money never gets replaced.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_01]: It shows because then you have Trump's favorite kind of voter out there the poorly educated voter and they make all the wrong decisions they make it they they base everything on fear and they they come from fear and that's how you know that's that's the Republican party in a nutshell so.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_01]: But I know that you've been hearing a lot of chatter about expanding the court.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_01]: And before I, some news just dropped, but I just, like, what are your thoughts on expanding the court?
- 26:13[SPEAKER_01]: What do you think we should do when we had to do?
- 26:17[SPEAKER_01]: Say that, I'm sorry, I interrupted you.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_00]: Go ahead.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_00]: What do you think we should do?
- 26:21[SPEAKER_00]: I think we, I think we have to expand the court.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_00]: I know, obviously, Republicans are going to be against this.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_00]: And I've seen some Republicans already coming out against this.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_00]: Of course.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_00]: But it's like, I don't think we really have a choice at this point.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_00]: Like, if we want our country to survive.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_00]: Like, Donald Trump, how many has he put in three, four?
- 26:38[SPEAKER_00]: Like, it's not yet.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even know any.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_00]: And their lifetime appointments.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_00]: So it's like, we, it's like shit.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_00]: We're fat.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_00]: So, we need to.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_00]: We need to add more in it and there's nothing against it in the Constitution.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_00]: They're all say, oh, we've happened before we've expanded the court before we've expanded the court before we're a larger nation now.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_00]: We have more people now.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_00]: The court should be expanded and more representative.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_00]: So it's like that is that is we have to.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_00]: So that is my stance on it.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_01]: So, so there was an article that came out, the House rejects a constitutional amendment to keep the Supreme Court locked in at nine justices.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_01]: Only one.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_01]: Now, this is what Allison Gill said.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_01]: She said only one Democrat voted yes on the House resolution proposing an amendment to keep Scottish at nine.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_01]: It was Don Davis of North Carolina, keeping court expansion on the table is definitely mainstream.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_01]: That's why AG keeps
- 27:33[SPEAKER_01]: telling us, and it's true, it's becoming a mainstream talking point now, which is a good thing.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_01]: And then she added, do you know if we add four seats to scotists in 2020, 9?
- 27:43[SPEAKER_01]: We could bring back the charges against Trump for January 6.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_01]: They could overturn the immunity ruling and consider totaling the statute of limitations for the duration of Trump's presidency.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_01]: We could also resurrect the classified documents case.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_01]: So, I mean, I-
- 28:01[SPEAKER_01]: I get, like, I've been, you know, I know you're like, does you see people like AG or anybody going here?
- 28:07[SPEAKER_01]: So what we could do if this happens and then it never fucking happens, right?
- 28:11[SPEAKER_01]: We get the power and then Democrats don't do anything with it.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what we're doing on that.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they could have run on that.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, in that alone.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, it's like, oh my God, yes, please, please.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_01]: So I am excited about that because I think that,
- 28:28[SPEAKER_01]: You know, as I have maintained for so long.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_01]: The more uncomfortable we are, the better chance we have at changing the things we've all been screaming about for years.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_01]: And it's not necessarily gonna be easy and it's not going to be immediate, but it is something that can be done.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know, I'm just feeling super hopeful because I think that, and I do wanna talk to you about the midterms, of course I do.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_01]: But I wanna throw this in and I talked about this on my patrons only show,
- 29:04[SPEAKER_01]: There's this woman, okay, so I want everybody to take all of this with the grain of salt to listen to my whole point, okay, I don't make up your mind, but there's this lady I watch on YouTube and she's a psychic and people ask her questions about politics and I'm I don't I've watched a couple of her older videos and she predicted some things that happened.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_01]: She also thought something was going to happen and it didn't.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_01]: I take all of this with a grain of salt.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_01]: I just think it's fun.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_01]: Also, she is a Democrat.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_01]: So I like listening to her point of view, but she'll say things we don't want to hear.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, one of the questions that she got and so I just don't want to do everybody to get stuck on the psychic part because that's not what this is about.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_01]: But one of her questions that somebody asked her as our, you know, we're seeing all of these food recalls and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, these foods are contaminated.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_01]: Is this going to be like what happened in COVID and her answer was no, it's not going to be like what happened in COVID because COVID was about a supply chain.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_01]: she said this is different.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_01]: Like for instance, she talked about the beef recall because it wasn't FDA approved.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_01]: They fired all the inspectors that would approve it.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_01]: So there was, you know, it makes beef more expensive.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_01]: It makes beef harder to get.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_01]: So she was just basically saying it's just going to be harder to get because it's not going to be available.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_01]: So
- 30:24[SPEAKER_01]: It didn't, she didn't make it sound like this was going to be some big massive crisis where we're all starving.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_01]: So her, this is what, this is the whole point of what I'm telling everybody and this is what I'm going to do.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what's going to happen with the food and it might come to a point where some of the staples are harder to find.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think we're all going to starve.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_01]: But it's just a good idea to stock up on things she said like pasta and dry beans and some canned goods like vegetables and you know I thought that's not a bad idea you don't have to fill up your garage you don't have to become a super survivalist or anything like that, but just to make you just.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_01]: But just have some stock there, you know, in case, in case things start, you know, we might have a month or two where it's hard to find something and you'll, you know, I am terrible.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'd same with the toilet paper and the paper tells me because I fucking learned my lesson in COVID.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_01]: I'm always the last, you know, it's like when I found out toilet paper was hard to find by that time it was, I had like no toilet paper left and, of course, you go to the store
- 31:33[SPEAKER_01]: I think I found like you were only allowed to buy like one of two at a time and I found an aldier something that had some toilet paper and I was so excited but you know it's like all right I want to get ahead of this so anyway any anybody who cares about that it might be a good idea and I'm getting it protein pasta because protein yeah but I did that so I always
- 31:58[SPEAKER_01]: But you know what, that's the fucking thing that saves me.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I have lost weight because I mean, I've definitely reduced, I would say I've counted my calories to make sure I don't count them anymore, but I know the just of what I'm eating, but it's like between 13 and 1500 calories to lose weight and then keeping your,
- 32:19[SPEAKER_01]: You're protein high, I do at least a hundred grams a day and then, you know, it's good to have fiber and just not a lot of carbs.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_01]: So, but are you pasta almost every single night?
- 32:31[SPEAKER_01]: And I've lost all this weight.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'm not exactly where I want to be, but I'm really, you know, so, it's protein man and I'm getting my muscles back.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_00]: No, that's awesome.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I have to I've been doing that to you and I'm the opposite of you where I am like a pseudo-prepare where I have like my Costco size thing of toilet paper and paper towels and I had a box full of goods because I was working in New York City at the time So I saw the writing on the wall.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_00]: I was on the train people were wearing masks.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like oh shit.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_00]: This is getting real.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so I was like I'm going to Costco and You're smart
- 33:07[SPEAKER_00]: And I bought like even those like, um, like the fruit veggie pack, like the sweetest ones you buy for kids.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I bought a bunch of those because they they last.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so yeah, I did a bunch of that kind of stuff.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, I think people just be generally be prepared.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_00]: I also have a day.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm like, I think everybody needs to go to Sarah's house when the world.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_00]: And I also collect rainwater.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_00]: So like.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_00]: I am like the I'm like the off like I'm one of those people who like I have my survival food buckets I have right I'm ready And then you got guns in case anybody has any ideas.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_01]: I do I do have guns.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_01]: I do And I have three dogs so good But don't fuck with Sarah
- 33:53[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, no, it's like, I hope, but I do think it's really smart for people to be thinking about this and have it on the radar because it's going to food.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think I could like you said, I don't think we're going to starve and I think the people are going to have to make some really.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, there's going to be choices like not everything that you've always had will be available.
- 34:11[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_00]: I'll probably be limited time.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_00]: It's not going to be forever.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_01]: But it's not only that, just make sure you got what you need and feel comfortable and safe.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that's really important.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_01]: But then, you know, we are going to get to midterms because we always have talked about midterms.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_01]: But, okay, I have to, I have to find the article.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, do I posted an article the other day by a paramedic?
- 34:36[SPEAKER_01]: Did you happen to see it?
- 34:37[SPEAKER_01]: It was about Trump's health.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't, I'm sorry.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, you should be sorry.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just going to, I'm going to put you up in my tiny room.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_00]: All the internet all the time.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, let me see.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, let me see what this was called.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_01]: It says I'm trained to know when someone is dying the White House needs you to believe Trump isn't so this guy he is a paramedic and he talks about how
- 35:01[SPEAKER_01]: Being a paramedic, he can't look at somebody and diagnose them, but he needs to treat them for whatever symptoms are in front of his face.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_01]: And so I'd like to just point out the obvious that this is all speculation, because Donald Trump will never tell us the truth.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_01]: So nobody knows the truth, right?
- 35:21[SPEAKER_01]: And we've heard I have talked about a million times epistemic crisis doctor who is always talking to us about
- 35:28[SPEAKER_01]: What's what could possibly be going on with Trump and his so what does he have he has frontal temporal dementia can just of heart failure probably has some issue with his kidneys so here's what I think okay let me get to this part.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_01]: of the article.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_01]: So this guy is talking about all the stuff that we know, right?
- 35:48[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, yeah, yeah, dementia, yeah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_01]: So he said, I think that there is something more dangerous than his medical team is monitoring and tracking.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_01]: I think that what they are monitoring is closely isn't his mental health.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_01]: It's the time bomb in his belly and abdominal aortic aneurysm, a, a, a is what happens when they order the main blood delivery system to the
- 36:14[SPEAKER_01]: The side of the wall of the Aorta starts to push outward, it's a serious life-threatening condition.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_01]: If A, A, A, A, a rub, if triple A, I should say ruptures, which they are prone to do, then unless you are physically on an operating table under the bright lights with a skilled surgeon, you can kiss your ask goodbye.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_01]: The triple A makes the congestive heart failure worse, which also explains why he has pitting the pitting a deema in every extremity.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_01]: A deema is what happens when there is a fluid leakage from the blood vessels and the body's natural drain system, the lymphatic system, isn't able to filter out all of the excess fluid from the blood.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_01]: It causes that sloshy-looking skin that if you press into it, it leaves an
- 36:59[SPEAKER_01]: When you know what you're looking for, you can spot putting a demon across the room just by looking at the person.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_01]: And so he was specifically talking about the fact that the immediate life threat is the AAA and the congestive heart failure.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_01]: So yes, he has dementia, but I would assume that these two other things are much more
- 37:23[SPEAKER_01]: like life threatening.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_00]: I agree.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_00]: I agree.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_00]: Especially if you're balancing kidneys and heart.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_00]: Like those two things, like you have to be real careful because usually those medicines contradict each other sometimes.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_00]: So you got to be real careful balancing them.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like, and those.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_00]: My mother had an organic valve replacement surgery because she was having, she was she had a, and would, I don't know, it's not in your, whatever it is, where it's bulging out like that.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_00]: And she, if it had ruptured, she would have died.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_00]: So if that is happening, then that is incredibly serious.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_01]: And, and we, you know, okay, now I always take this with a grain of salt too, because the epistemic crisis doctor says he has sources in the White House.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I don't, I can't remember what was that Claude Taylor who used to be on my show all the time.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_01]: He got fooled basically by people saying, I, you know, I work in the White House and he believed it and he didn't vet them and then he basically was embarrassed.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, by that experience.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know who this guy sources are, but the doctor is telling us that the sources in the White House are telling him,
- 38:35[SPEAKER_01]: That Trump is not taking his medicine the way the doctors are prescribed and would you be surprised if that's true.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_01]: No, it's Donald Trump.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_01]: He's of course he's not following directions.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_01]: So whatever they're telling him to do, he's not doing at least not in the way he should do it.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_01]: And I know that most recently three videos from this epistemic crisis doctor, one talked about Trump's fingernails.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_01]: which I guess like there was a picture of his thumbnail and it was very very very grooved and kind of dark and he was saying this is this is you know like representing the end stages of congestive heart failure.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_01]: He also did a video on him with the idioma with a big puffing like under eye things and he was talking about that the fluid from the congestive heart failure as we just explained
- 39:26[SPEAKER_01]: is rising up to his face now, and it's getting in his eyes.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_01]: And then interestingly, so do you remember a couple of weeks ago there was the video of Donald, I can't remember what event he was at, but he he was walking and we could see him from behind.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_01]: It looked like his rear, there was something square on it.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_00]: Did you see that?
- 39:48[SPEAKER_00]: I swear he has an L that wire, you know, like what they used in the Grey's Anatomy.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what, well, I don't know what that, I don't know what that is.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_00]: I need to be able to remember when he got the L that wire.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_00]: See, I didn't ever watch that show.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_01]: But what is that?
- 40:01[SPEAKER_01]: The epistemic guy says he thinks he knows what it is.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_01]: But I just want to see what is that.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_01]: I basically keep your her going.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_01]: Well, okay, the sum of that.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_01]: The epistemic doctor gave examples of what it could be.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know what there's, it's called an exoskeletal something or rather.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_01]: And the reason I think that's what he's got is because Trump suits her big intentionally.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_01]: So it won't show his diaper.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_01]: It won't outline his diaper.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_01]: And it won't outline this brace that he has on.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_01]: That's a square shape and basically what it's for is to keep him from falling and If you I don't know what it's it's on one of his videos from like last week and he he wasn't even sure about it because he said Well, if it gets wet it will stop working and And you know this guy shoots his pants and he pees his pants and all that stuff But he's wearing a diaper so it's all protected Whatever he does in his diaper is not gonna hit this thing and I think that's what he's got I think that
- 41:01[SPEAKER_01]: that's probably that seems to be the shape of what was in his hind quarters aside from the big diaper.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_00]: very possible.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I mean, nobody knows though.
- 41:14[SPEAKER_01]: It could be what you're talking about.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what that thing looks like, but when I saw that's usually carried more on the science.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_00]: So like, under a suit coat, so maybe it's not that.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_00]: So maybe it's yeah, you know, it's the full blown squashed.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it was exactly on it.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_00]: I remember the video is like really awkward.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, even Mark Hamill was marking this
- 41:35[SPEAKER_01]: Fuck that guy, yeah, so I do think that, I mean, look, I'm going to, I'm never getting off this until the fucking guy is dead.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_01]: And I think there's maybe a little benefit.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_01]: of him being here, even though he's so fucking damaging and distracting, but or destructive, but what he does is he keeps people motivated, you know, MAGA hates him.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of MAGA hates him now, not all of them.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_01]: There's always going to be a core group of MAGA, but there's a lot of MAGA who's fucking hate him now.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_01]: They do.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_01]: They do.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_01]: They love for this eating their face, like Milo, who got deported.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, well, and you hear listen to people like MTG, who yes, who are
- 42:15[SPEAKER_00]: It's basically telling Republicans not to vote.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_00]: She came out with a video and she was like, I hate to be a Republican running right now because what do you run on?
- 42:25[SPEAKER_00]: It's just failure after failure.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_00]: Like, what do you think?
- 42:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_00]: lie after lie and I'm like keep going empty.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_00]: You keep going keep talking.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_00]: She's in the district for someone I'm trying to help win.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_01]: So wow.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my, I mean, you know, I mean, it's just, there's, there's a number of things.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_01]: So I, you know, I mean, I don't know what would happen if Donald Trump were to just kill over and die now.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how that would affect the midterms, but I do think that, uh,
- 42:53[SPEAKER_01]: We need to I think he benefits the midterms, but let me ask you a question because The Texas GOP just closed 92 polling stations and I don't know if I'm saying this right.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_01]: Terrent County Which is of course predominantly Democrat It's democratic presets and I know that I know they're angry, but I mean, what do you think that's gonna meet do you?
- 43:15[SPEAKER_01]: What do you think that's gonna mean?
- 43:17[SPEAKER_01]: It's primarily in democratic districts and so
- 43:21[SPEAKER_01]: Democrats are pissed off.
- 43:23[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think, like, let's just say that was you.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just say that Republicans in your state got rid of all these precincts that made it very easy for you to vote.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_01]: Would you just sit back?
- 43:37[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_00]: You saw what I did through flat cameras, I would be.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_00]: I would be out there.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I would be organizing and get out there in the streets and be like, this is our right to vote.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_00]: And you're trying to make it as hard as possible.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_00]: What are you afraid of?
- 43:56[SPEAKER_00]: Like, what are you afraid of democracy of?
- 43:58[SPEAKER_00]: Like why?
- 44:00[SPEAKER_00]: That you think that's good.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_01]: How do you think it's going to affect the midterm,
- 44:05[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, because I know that like, Trump is trying to destroy the mobile and vote, especially in states that didn't hand over there, like, whatever their voter rolls or whatever.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I, we don't know.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_00]: I hope that the states are on top of it.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_01]: I do just Texas.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_01]: It's Texas.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so it makes me a little nervous, especially.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're genuinely nervous about Talerego.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, they are 100%.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_01]: Fuckin' a hundred percent.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_01]: And so that leads me to the mid-terms, which I think we're gonna end on.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_01]: But we've got, like you said, it's the mail-in.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_01]: They wanna close down polling places.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_01]: They are obviously gonna try to intimidate us
- 44:54[SPEAKER_01]: You look at Hungary and what they accomplished earlier this year.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_01]: And even though I think there might be enough Americans who aren't, well, I think enough Americans are paying attention because those Americans are feeling it in their wallet.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_01]: And that's really where people like, you know, we've all got our issues when it comes to,
- 45:16[SPEAKER_01]: you know, the LGBTQ community or women's rights or this, but then there's just regular can I afford my groceries attitude, which is a lot of Americans are really just focused.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_01]: They're not in the trenches, they're not in the nuance fighting.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_01]: They're in the, I need to be, you know, I need to be able to afford to feed my family and get a little bit of sleep in between all these jobs that I have.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_01]: So I just like, do you think that that's,
- 45:42[SPEAKER_01]: I know that we're going to have a big turnout.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_01]: I know we're going to have a big turnout because we had one in 2018 and it wasn't this bad.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, and we also know how much they're going to fight to
- 45:57[SPEAKER_01]: Whatever they're going to do after the vote is in to throw away votes to not count to do whatever, but like do you I know you you can only go on your gut with this because nobody has nobody can see into the future, but I mean what is your gut telling you about this like we're still going to walk away with a big win or do you think there's going to be a lot of trouble.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_00]: I think there's going to be a lot of trouble, but I do think that we are going to get a lot of big wins.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_00]: I just think it's going to be, I don't think it's going to be, this is my gut.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_00]: I have no evidence of this, this is really my gut.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it's going to be as big of a blue wave as people are expecting.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's why, because they're going to cheat.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_00]: Because they're going to do something to fuck with it.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_00]: And like they did in 24.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_00]: So I have,
- 46:44[SPEAKER_00]: It's not that I don't think people are going to come out.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_00]: I think that they're going to cheat.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't, but I don't want to say that.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_00]: And like, make people not want to go and think that they're those don't matter.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_01]: So that's actually the reason.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_00]: It's all the more reason you have to look and get out there and vote and bring everyone you know to vote to make sure that they cannot rig this thing.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_00]: Make it like,
- 47:04[SPEAKER_00]: airtight Democrats.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_00]: And if we do that, then yeah, I think it's going to be a huge huge night.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah, because the thing is, is that we're not going to do something braces.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_01]: It's easier to cheat when the margin is slim.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_01]: So that's why you need to get your fucking ass out there.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_01]: And don't mail it, you know, drop it off of the precinct or put it in a box, but don't mail it.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not trusting the mail.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_01]: or show up.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like get there, get show up and drop, you know, show up and vote there, drop it there, or take it to a drop box.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, don't mail it anymore.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, it's interesting because my maga relative pretty much mails her, her balladin.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_01]: And,
- 47:49[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what's going to happen, right?
- 47:51[SPEAKER_01]: She lives in a blue state.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know what's going to happen if she melts it in.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_01]: But you know, I was asking, my mom and I were talking about that and it's like, would she, would she go?
- 48:00[SPEAKER_01]: Because she's got a, she's on a cane now.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_01]: She's a boomer.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_01]: She's on a cane.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know that she would go stand in line.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_01]: You know, like, she's not motivated in the way that we're motivated.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_01]: I think she feels she's she's living in Magalai land and she's hearing everything that they're saying.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_01]: I don't and I don't know what they're saying.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if they're telling all their, I mean, I don't know if she's, I don't think she's listening to M2G because I think she likes Donald Trump still.
- 48:30[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't, I think she watches
- 48:34[SPEAKER_01]: Newsmax and to whatever they're saying over there and I don't know if they're I don't know what she's hearing.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe if she feels like this race is going to be tight she would show up, but I don't know if she thinks that.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what they're telling.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not listening to them.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't listen to you.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_01]: I just fucking care.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_01]: My dad sometimes he's like, you should watch Fox News.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, I don't need to watch Fox News.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_01]: I see enough of this shit online.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_01]: I don't need to watch Fox News.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_01]: So, and plus when I do, I get fucking crazy.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_00]: I don't get that.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_00]: I remember that back in the day, like when before like social media was social media and I'd be like watching Fox news just to get the other perspective right and I would just get so angry You know, and I'm like, oh my god, this isn't healthy and social media took kind of help that because then you felt like you weren't alone in your anger Yes, and then it's also kind of broken up because like you'll see a little thing on Fox, but then you'll see a cute cat video or something Exactly
- 49:37[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my goodness.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I don't think we solved any of the world's problems today, but we sure talked about a lot of them We did and I'm just okay.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna ask you this before I let you go What are you doing for fun these days?
- 49:51[SPEAKER_01]: I'll tell you what I'm doing for from what are you doing for fun anything anything?
- 49:53[SPEAKER_01]: Anything good anything interesting?
- 49:57[SPEAKER_01]: No actually or what's making you feel good?
- 50:00[SPEAKER_01]: I should say
- 50:01[SPEAKER_00]: Um, just spending time with my, my wife and my dogs.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_00]: Honestly.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_01]: That's, then good.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to, we're going to a wedding this weekend.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be nice.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of be fun.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_01]: I, I've discovered an orchard.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, it's funny.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_01]: Because I, I watched these YouTube, life style channels were, you know, like they decorate and, um, I love like home
- 50:29[SPEAKER_01]: So there's this girl who I like to watch and she lives in my area.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_01]: And so that's what she does.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_01]: She decorates her home and she makes food and everything.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_01]: So she's like, oh, there's this orchard orchard that I like to go to.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_01]: And I guess you can go pick your own.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_01]: I haven't done that.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_01]: But like you can, they have different tours.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_01]: We can go Apple picking or strawberry picking or whatever.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_01]: But she said that they have a year-round store and it's open during the week.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_01]: So I went there.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_01]: I've already been there twice and I love it.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, it's so great because and I can't wait to go on the fall.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's there's like it's a twisting winding east coast road that is like a tonal of trees right you can't even see the sky because it's all tree and I can't wait for the colors, but
- 51:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's great because I was there last weekend and they had the haystacks and they've got all the fresh fruits and vegetables, but then they also have just stuff like, you know, aprons and baked goods and dishware and it's just all country and really cool and I just love it.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like I've been getting into.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how to describe this other than that I, you know, my weird self, like when I was the, I Bob and I have always talked about like one of the things Bob, like he said he fell in love with me when I told him the story of like when I was I guess was like 9 or 10.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_01]: And I was outside and I would run like the Bionic woman, but I would run in slow motion.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_01]: I would try to run in slow motion.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_01]: And I just thought, oh my god, I can't even imagine what adults thought of me if they saw me.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_01]: like what is that weird kid doing?
- 52:03[SPEAKER_01]: And but I would like embody it right out, take it on and also there was this this scene from the Brady Bunch where Marsha was all upset and she was writing this note and crump she crumpled it up and threw it away and then she grabbed it out of the trash and then she'd smooth it out and then she'd and so I was like I with my little kid monkey brain, I would repeat that over and over.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_01]: I would get a piece of paper and I would write on it and then I crumpled it up and threw it in the trash and then I would smooth it all out and then I would
- 52:29[SPEAKER_01]: just like Marshall did.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_01]: So I was like, I wash these videos of the home decor and cooking, and it makes me want to do it.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_01]: You know, so it's like, that's what I've actually been doing, where I'm making my house look all fall like in pretty and I'm cooking and I'm having fun with cooking because I used to be the kind of cookware.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_01]: I was not organized, but now I'm getting all organized.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_01]: I'm getting all the ingredients out and it's all right there for me.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_01]: I do all the prep.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_01]: And it's so much fun and I actually love it.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like, that's, you know, I've really been into, I hate saying it, but homemaking, you know?
- 53:06[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, I just making a nice comfortable home.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, obviously, I still have, I have like three fucking jobs.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_01]: But it's like the homemaking part is so fulfilling to me.
- 53:18[SPEAKER_01]: And it's satisfying.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like when I've been like, I feel like I had, sorry.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_00]: I've been a group.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, go ahead.
- 53:25[SPEAKER_00]: Um, yeah, like, like, I lived in my 20s in my 30s and they were wild and crazy and I lived all over the country and like I'm super happy not doing much of anything.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_00]: Like, just making care of, you know, our property, like I say property, like we have property.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_00]: It's like our yard.
- 53:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_00]: And, um, you know, gardening work can and just like,
- 53:46[SPEAKER_00]: So I actually totally get what you're coming from.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, come for it.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_00]: And we live in New England.
- 53:50[SPEAKER_00]: So it's like when you were mentioning, like we love our orchards and the orchard store is and like driving around, especially in fall.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_00]: There's enough, it's magical.
- 53:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's my favorite city.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, it's magical.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's so great.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_01]: And you know what, the leaves here are already changing.
- 54:04[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they've been changing since the beginning of August.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_01]: Have's that been happening there?
- 54:09[SPEAKER_01]: a few.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_01]: It's still pretty cute.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_01]: It's just a yeah.
- 54:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's still pretty green, but I got to see my neighbor's tree right now.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_00]: It's starting to turn at the top.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 54:17[SPEAKER_00]: So love it.
- 54:18[SPEAKER_00]: I love it.
- 54:18[SPEAKER_01]: I just like, I love it.
- 54:19[SPEAKER_01]: And the thing is, is I'm going to be fucking terrified on election day.
- 54:24[SPEAKER_01]: I know I'm just going to be sick to my stomach until I know we're winning.
- 54:27[SPEAKER_01]: But that's the only thing.
- 54:30[SPEAKER_01]: It's like it's going to ruin it for me if we lose.
