- 0:06Welcome to Have Faith. Let it begin. Here's your host, Angel Santana.
- 0:13Ariel, can you say, have faith? Let it begin. Let it begin? Let it begin. Say, have faith.
- 0:21Let it begin. Let it begin. No. No. No? Okay. No.
- 0:26No. No. Happy birthday, Noah! It's amazing.
- 0:33It's amazing. No! No!
- 0:38This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it fly.
- 0:43This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it fly.
- 0:49I'm gonna let it fly. Let it fly. Half-Faith, let it, fast, yeah.
- 0:59Daddy, I'm so excited. But I have one question. What's your question?
- 1:03I'm going to be a pastor or a minister.
- 1:06Good question. I don't know, but it is all in God's hands. Good morning.
- 1:10You're listening to Half-Faith, let it begin. And it starts right now.
- 1:17Hello, everyone. If you hear me walking in the background, that's because I am.
- 1:21This is Angel, Half-Faith, let it begin. and it is literally five o'clock in
- 1:26the morning and we are walking Cody.
- 1:29So this is me working from home today. We're excited.
- 1:34What a windy night here in the Northeast.
- 1:36As I walk here, Cody, on our streets, there's garbage cans everywhere.
- 1:42Some in the streets, some toys,
- 1:45things were definitely blowing around last night. Crazy, crazy weather.
- 1:48Well, I got a lot of feedback yesterday from the episode about would you deny Christ like Peter did?
- 1:58And I'm going to piggyback off of that today because many of you said the same thing that I said.
- 2:05Some of you said in that moment, they could understand why Peter did what he did.
- 2:11They know that it was out of fear and uncertainty.
- 2:15And a lot of people today say that even given all the things that we know and read about Christ,
- 2:22they wonder and they're scared if in that moment they would hesitate as well,
- 2:29which I thought was very, very bold and honest.
- 2:32And I appreciated people being honest and not just saying, absolutely,
- 2:37you know, and it's a fair question.
- 2:41I always say to myself, every time I've read that over and over again,
- 2:47that passage, and I say, man, to be in Peter's situation is brutal.
- 2:53It's just, it's hard to put yourself in that position.
- 2:58So, as we prepare for the return of Christ, because, you know,
- 3:02he's going to come back. We all know he's coming back.
- 3:05We have to get all of our affairs in order. We all have to think about everything
- 3:09we're doing. we've done. Forgive ourselves. Forgive others.
- 3:13Don't allow past things to cloud our judgment.
- 3:19Morning. Car went by waving to me.
- 3:22Don't allow anyone to steal your joy. And I want everyone to think about one thing.
- 3:28No matter what happens in our lives, whether it's a good day,
- 3:32a bad day, just always remember that God has got us.
- 3:35He's got us in his palm of his right hand.
- 3:38He is guiding us. He knows what we're going to say, even before we even say
- 3:43it. It's already been written.
- 3:45Always remember that God's plan for us is always meant for the good.
- 3:50We have that choice to accept and to move forward so we can have the greatest
- 3:57path toward righteousness.
- 3:58So when Christ returns and the knock on that door or when the trumpets sound
- 4:04be happy be prepared be ready be excited.
- 4:11He's only going to take us home. And, you know, as I walk here in the bitter
- 4:17cold temperatures, and I'm freezing, and I'm switching hands on the microphone
- 4:22so I can get one hand cold, the other one's warm.
- 4:26I want everybody to remember these words and listen to them.
- 4:31And as I say it, we've heard it a thousand times.
- 4:35But as my pastor Jim would say, say it slow so that you really can get an idea of the words.
- 4:42So as I say these words, I want you to really hear them.
- 4:47Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
- 4:51Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
- 4:58Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.
- 5:06Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
- 5:12For yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
- 5:18Think about that today, and I'll see you tomorrow.
- 5:22Have faith. Let it begin. Thank you for listening to Have Faith Version. I'll be back tomorrow.
