- 0:38SPEAKER_00: Welcome back to reality.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: We've got thoughts.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: I'm Susan.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: And I'm Debbie.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: And we're here to recap Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: They had a big episode last night.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: Episode three.
- 0:49SPEAKER_00: It was titled Little Green Leprechaun Big Dirty Secret.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: It was a good one.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: Debbie mentioned that there hadn't been a lot of drama yet, but there was big drama.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: We saw drama.
- 0:59SPEAKER_01: We definitely saw drama in this one.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: So if you guys tuned in, if you haven't listened to our episode from yesterday, we did recap Dancing with the Stars and the new Jeff Lewis show that he's back on Bravo was still flipping out.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: That was a lot of fun.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: If you noticed our little candle in the background, our friend Rhonda got us this candle that is hunky dory.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: If you're listening, it is a picture of Kathy Hilton on a candle that looks like the candle you would light in a Catholic church to pray for someone.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: And it says who is hunky dory.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: So that's hilarious.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: But we have that over here in honor of the fact that Beverly Hills is actually filming around.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: They haven't given a release date yet, but they're filming.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: And what do you think of the new housewives that are being added?
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: It's going to be interesting, right?
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: It's going to add a whole different layer than what they've had, I think.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: So if you haven't heard, they are adding two new housewives to Beverly Hills.
- 1:59SPEAKER_00: They're adding Leah Remini and Tracy Tudor.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: Leah, of course, is an actress.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: She's been on many shows.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: King of Queens, right?
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: She was inside she was a Scientology girl that left the religion and kind of has told her story about leaving and how it affected her life, basically.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think she's really been one of the most outspoken people kind of talking about Scientology.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: So I can't imagine that that won't come up in the show.
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: It's gonna really make it exciting, I think.
- 2:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it'll be interesting.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: And she's also like very, very good friends with J Lo, like literally best friends with J Lo.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: So I wonder if it may see a little bit see any J-Lo cameo, kind of like Martha Stewart coming on Real Housewives of New York with Daisy, the new housewife.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: Um, Tracy Tudor is no stranger to reality TV.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: She came into fame um on Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: She is very well known around LA, like born and raised, went to University of Southern California, all that good stuff.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: She's a legit LA girl.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: So I think she'll be a really good, good addition, too.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: That's gonna be fun.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: So we have that to look forward to.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: We'll be anxiously awaiting the announcement of when that'll come out.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: I guess it'll be a little while, but we'll be we'll be ready.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: So let's get into it.
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, let's get into our episode.
- 3:23SPEAKER_01: Uh it starts off showing Ashley Quay, the new girl, pulling up on a motorcycle.
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: What do you think of that?
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: It's interesting.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: It's funny because now we've had like two motorcycle sightings because Heather's new boyfriend showed up on a motorcycle.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, good for her.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: I guess she's got a wild side.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: It's not my personal thing.
- 3:44SPEAKER_01: Well, and if you know anything about Salt Lake, the bar that she pulled up to is such a dive biker bar.
- 3:50SPEAKER_01: Really, yes, it's a bar named Sue, and it is such a just like hardcore biker bar.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: I did think the name was cool.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: I was like, that's a pretty funny name for a bar, especially for bikers.
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: So good for her.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: So, what about the conversation they had once they were in there?
- 4:06SPEAKER_01: Who was it?
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: It was um Ashley and Bronwyn and Whitney.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: And they talked kind of about like what we saw in the last episode and um got into some nitty-gritty details about how Ashley, you know, felt kind of attacked a little bit.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's funny because this starts the whole thing that happens in Housewives with the telephone game, because Ashley is telling them some things that bothered her about um Angie, Kay, and Heather when at the the previous dinner from the previous episode, and and Bron one's like, oh yeah, yeah, like Brutt and Whitney, they're like right there, there with her.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: So they're just egging on those feelings.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: And then we're gonna see later when we talk about what happens later when they flash back to that.
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: There was a lot of flashing back in the well, and really Ashley had her feelings hurt because Angie basically she was Ashley was trying to stick up for someone, and uh Angie said, You have no business to talk, you haven't been here, you have no place to talk.
- 5:08SPEAKER_01: And yeah, that's what hurt her feelings.
- 5:10SPEAKER_01: I am team Ashley on that one though.
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: I think she was trying to stick up for someone that was being backed into a corner and bullied.
- 5:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: Even though I'm not like loving Ashley so far, I don't think she's gonna end up being a favorite in my book for a litany of reasons, but I do think that she's on the show now.
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: She's gonna be, she is, even though she's a friend of, she's there, she's filming.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: She's a fixture, she's allowed to say what she wants.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: Brittany started as a friend of.
- 5:36SPEAKER_00: And she's still yeah, and Brittany still still Britney's still in the friend zone.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: Britney is gonna be friend zoned, I think, for for a while.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: Oh Brittany.
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 5:46SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 5:47SPEAKER_01: We'll see.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 5:49SPEAKER_01: And are we supposed to call her Ashley or Quay?
- 5:51SPEAKER_01: Because they refer to her as both.
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think that all of it sounds like all of her friends seem to call her Quay.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: So I think that's where we're at with that.
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: So then they go on, Angie, they go and show Mary.
- 6:06SPEAKER_00: Mary and Angie sit down together.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: And and it was kind of sad because Angie shows up with the orchid.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: Angie's been checking on her a lot, and I guess she had put a picture of Robert Jr.
- 6:16SPEAKER_01: And Mary said, I can't do pictures.
- 6:18SPEAKER_01: Don't bring me pictures, I can't do them.
- 6:20SPEAKER_01: And that just kind of broke my heart.
- 6:21SPEAKER_01: It's still the orchid.
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: I love orchids, but I can't do pictures with the city.
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: Um so they talk about.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: So Angie, one of the things that the visits going back to Ashley Quay, is that Angie is telling Mary about her joining the group and all that.
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: And Mary says, if she's anything like Britney, we're gonna have a problem.
- 6:44SPEAKER_01: So Angie assures her she's nothing like Brittany.
- 6:47SPEAKER_01: She's very different than Britney.
- 6:48SPEAKER_01: But I don't know about that.
- 6:49SPEAKER_01: I think there's a few similarities that we're gonna see between Britney and Ashley.
- 6:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that'll be interesting to see play out.
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 6:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: And I do think that, you know, Quai, she wants to be honest with going back to the when she was having the conversation with Bronwyn and Lisa.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: The other thing about Ashley, um, I'm gonna have to call her Ashley because I just quay, qua, quay or quai, I don't know.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: She's trying to be very honest with them about liking Lisa and wanting to, and also being friends with Whitney because she and Whitney have this long history.
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: Again, she is the sister-in-law of Whitney's friend that passed away from cancer that that we saw in a previous season.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: So that was the wife of Ashley Quay's brother.
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: Um, so that is how Whitney and she have a very close connection.
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: And um, and so then Bronwyn talks about in the confessional how she's trying to come to terms with this and figure out, like, okay, I don't mess with the Quay that messes with Lisa, but I'm fine with the Quay that likes Whitney.
- 7:52SPEAKER_00: And Bronwyn's gonna try to come to terms with how she can just be open and have her own relationship.
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she's like, I can't, I can't come to terms with the whole Lisa connection at all.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: So that's interesting.
- 8:02SPEAKER_00: So we'll just see see how that goes.
- 8:05SPEAKER_00: Um, what about the stories?
- 8:08SPEAKER_00: Going back to when they um and and like I said, there's a lot of like disjointed flashing back and forth in this, but they in this part of the episode, it comes up the story about Quay being mad at Steven, her now husband, when they were dating, and she took his toothbrush and swirled it around the rim of the toilet, and then put it back.
- 8:34SPEAKER_01: First off, who does that?
- 8:36SPEAKER_01: Who does that?
- 8:38SPEAKER_00: And then ends up marrying him.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: I mean, think about it.
- 8:41SPEAKER_00: We have heard some crazy stuff go down in Housewives, but this is so gross.
- 8:46SPEAKER_01: I don't know that when Angie and Mary were sitting and talking together, Angie tells Mary this story.
- 8:51SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 8:52SPEAKER_01: And so Angie's heard this story.
- 8:54SPEAKER_01: Um and I can't remember where Angie heard the story from.
- 8:58SPEAKER_01: Do you remember?
- 8:59SPEAKER_00: So we find out later that Angie did hear the story from Whitney.
- 9:03SPEAKER_00: From Whitney.
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: But Whitney later in the episode says, I told you that in conf in private, in confidence, not meaning for you to repeat it, which we all know is ridiculous.
- 9:12SPEAKER_01: Like obviously So, first off, Angie shouldn't have repeated the story.
- 9:16SPEAKER_01: But Whitney should not have shared the story to begin with, because Ashley confided in Whitney when she originally told her the story.
- 9:23SPEAKER_00: But then remember separately, when when Whitney and Bronwyn and Ashley are all together at a bar named Sue, Whitney brings it up.
- 9:33SPEAKER_01: I don't think she gets into all the details, but that but Whitney She just brings it up that I've seen a I know of a side of Ashley.
- 9:39SPEAKER_01: If you do her wrong, I know of a side of her that that's there.
- 9:43SPEAKER_01: She never actually brings up the story there.
- 9:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 9:46SPEAKER_01: But she alludes to something that she did that was not okay.
- 9:49SPEAKER_00: So what what I love about Mary is that Angie Kay is telling this to Mary, and Mary is just like mortified, mortified beyond herself.
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: And Angie Kay proceeds to tell her the story that may or may not be true.
- 10:05SPEAKER_00: That was one of those big urban legends that went around where they're like, Oh, I was at a hotel, and we checked the cameras, and the housekeeper had taken the toothbrush and did something with it, put it up there, whatever, something, and then put it back.
- 10:16SPEAKER_00: Like, and so Mary is just like crazy, and Angie is just getting into the story, and so we Angie stirring the pot.
- 10:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 10:26SPEAKER_01: Angie is definitely stirring the pot.
- 10:28SPEAKER_01: Well, then Angie brings it up again to Heather and Bronwyn and tells the story to Heather and Bronwyn, doesn't it?
- 10:33SPEAKER_01: Yes, yes.
- 10:34SPEAKER_01: And um, yeah, she's just interesting.
- 10:36SPEAKER_01: So let's fast forward to when they're on the bus, and Angie decides to rage bait by handing out toy toothbrushes to everybody on the bus.
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so the toothbrush story, we have to almost skip ahead and then go back because the toothbrush story just goes on and on.
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: And they get on the bus to go out that night in San Francisco, and Angie's got Angie's got toothbrushes for everybody to hand out.
- 11:01SPEAKER_01: And she's she's just so like sneaky sly as she's handing them out to everyone one by one.
- 11:08SPEAKER_01: Here's your toothbrush, here's your toothbrush, and then she kind of looks at Ashley, knowing that Ashley knows exactly why she's handing out the toothbrushes.
- 11:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 11:15SPEAKER_00: It was just rage bait.
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: It it was crazy.
- 11:18SPEAKER_00: And so she basically, when she confronts her about this, she totally admits it, owns it.
- 11:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she did.
- 11:29SPEAKER_01: Ash to Ashley's credit, first of all, it's disgusting.
- 11:31SPEAKER_01: I can't believe anyone would even do that.
- 11:33SPEAKER_01: But then she owns it.
- 11:34SPEAKER_01: She owns it and said, Yeah, we'll get it.
- 11:36SPEAKER_01: And you know what?
- 11:37SPEAKER_01: I've told him about it.
- 11:38SPEAKER_01: I told him, we both got a good laugh about it and moved on.
- 11:40SPEAKER_00: And when they ask Angie, like, why are you bringing this up now?
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: She's like, Well, apparently she has a problem with Heather and I, and they go back through all of that.
- 11:49SPEAKER_00: And the funniest thing is when Ashley is saying, Well, this is what you said, and Bronwyn agreed with it, Bronwyn's like, I never said that.
- 12:00SPEAKER_00: And then they immediately show a clip of Bronwyn saying exactly that.
- 12:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 12:05SPEAKER_01: They all have this problem where they will just spout off and say whatever's on their mind and then reel it back and be like, No, I would never say that.
- 12:15SPEAKER_01: It's it's crazy.
- 12:16SPEAKER_01: That's the drama.
- 12:17SPEAKER_01: That's where the drama comes from.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: So it really escalates.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: You can tell that Ashley's getting upset, and you can definitely sympathize with her, that she's a friend of, she's new on this show.
- 12:26SPEAKER_00: And in all honesty, Whitney and Bronman are literally sitting there lying.
- 12:32SPEAKER_00: Like Whitney had told Heather that she that Ashley said that she was diabolical when Heather was like pointing across the table at um and getting mad at Meredith.
- 12:48SPEAKER_00: But we see the clip where she said something about Diablo.
- 12:51SPEAKER_01: Like, what did something totally different?
- 12:53SPEAKER_01: She never said diabolical because when Heather looked up the definition, it was like acts like the devil, and Heather's like, ugh.
- 12:59SPEAKER_01: So that they get into this big argument on the bus about it, and Ashley's like, first of all, I don't even know what diabolical means.
- 13:06SPEAKER_01: I would never say that word because I don't even know what it means.
- 13:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 13:09SPEAKER_00: So, and when he's like, No, no, you said it.
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: And then they go back and show the clip that she did not say it.
- 13:15SPEAKER_00: And the same thing with Bronwyn.
- 13:17SPEAKER_00: She's Bronwyn's like, I never, I never agreed with you.
- 13:20SPEAKER_00: Bronwyn completely agreed with her that Bronwin goes, Oh, yeah, yeah, I heard I heard her say that you were getting aggressive and all this stuff.
- 13:28SPEAKER_00: But did you notice that Angie Kay actually did not say that?
- 13:32SPEAKER_00: She did not say that she was getting aggressive.
- 13:37SPEAKER_00: She um she actually said something else.
- 13:39SPEAKER_00: She said something about you're getting involved.
- 13:42SPEAKER_00: She did not even say the word.
- 13:44SPEAKER_01: She said you're getting involved in things you have no business commenting on.
- 13:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 13:47SPEAKER_00: Which is totally different.
- 13:48SPEAKER_00: So the whole thing got totally escalated to the point where then Ashley is literally like, shut the F up.
- 13:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 13:57SPEAKER_00: And she said she says the whole thing.
- 13:59SPEAKER_00: And then she ends up in tears.
- 14:02SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 14:03SPEAKER_01: So what do you think?
- 14:04SPEAKER_01: Like honestly.
- 14:05SPEAKER_01: It would be hard.
- 14:05SPEAKER_01: I I mean I do sympathize for Ashley here with Ashley here because it would be so hard to go into a scenario where you're the new one, you don't really know all the you know the history, but you don't know the history, and you're trying to just keep the peace, but you're trying to also stand up for your friends and stand up for yourself.
- 14:22SPEAKER_01: It's that's a tough scenario to be in.
- 14:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it really is.
- 14:26SPEAKER_00: It really is.
- 14:27SPEAKER_00: And quite frankly, she handled it pretty well.
- 14:29SPEAKER_00: So, what do you think of all of their St.
- 14:32SPEAKER_00: Patrick's Day outfits?
- 14:33SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
- 14:35SPEAKER_01: Well, first of all, can we go back to the airport when they show up to the airport to leave on their trip?
- 14:40SPEAKER_01: And in walks Britney, and Brittany decides she needs to pinch everybody in the airport that's not wearing green.
- 14:47SPEAKER_00: Brittany going up to strangers and pinching and saying, You're not wearing green, can I pinch you?
- 14:53SPEAKER_01: That's just it was ridiculous.
- 14:55SPEAKER_01: It was totally ridiculous.
- 14:56SPEAKER_01: And she's filming it, not even asking their permission to film it as she's doing it.
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: And then she's like, I'm gonna make a TikTok.
- 15:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 15:02SPEAKER_01: She's ridiculous, though.
- 15:03SPEAKER_01: So it was crazy.
- 15:04SPEAKER_01: She's ridiculous.
- 15:05SPEAKER_00: But some of them got really into the theme, some of them didn't.
- 15:08SPEAKER_01: They got to the hotel, they checked in, and I did like the variations of green, like the different shades of green, the different outfits.
- 15:18SPEAKER_01: Um, some of them changed once they a lot of them changed once they got to the hotel and to eat another green outfit.
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I thought the outfits that they put on to go out that night were really fun, and I loved seeing everybody, everybody's different interpretation of the St.
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: Patrick's Day.
- 15:32SPEAKER_00: And some of them were saying they did like themes, they didn't like themes.
- 15:36SPEAKER_00: Bronwyn, as always, as wacky, she's always looks great.
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: She's like, themes it up.
- 15:41SPEAKER_00: Tenth degree.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: Her dress was so cool.
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: Her dress, you know.
- 15:45SPEAKER_00: Her little bag with this.
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: Yes, she's always got her Judith Lieber bag.
- 15:48SPEAKER_00: She had a special little Judith Lieber bag with the um little gold pot of gold.
- 15:54SPEAKER_00: Pot of gold and and all that.
- 15:57SPEAKER_00: Did you notice when she was packing that at this point she's still living in the house?
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: In the house.
- 16:04SPEAKER_00: But I guess Todd really travels a lot anyway.
- 16:06SPEAKER_01: Well, Todd was never there much to begin with.
- 16:09SPEAKER_01: So, but I I wasn't it the first episode that they showed that she was pack starting to pack up the house because the house had sold and she was gonna have to move out of the house.
- 16:19SPEAKER_01: Okay, so I think she does have to move out of the house.
- 16:21SPEAKER_01: It's just a matter of time.
- 16:22SPEAKER_00: So I wonder if we're gonna see that on the season.
- 16:24SPEAKER_00: We probably will.
- 16:25SPEAKER_00: Like that would be interesting to see where she's moving, what she's doing.
- 16:28SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 16:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 16:29SPEAKER_00: So Roman plans the whole San Francisco trip.
- 16:32SPEAKER_00: She talks a lot because of the fact that she used to live there.
- 16:35SPEAKER_00: It's where she and Todd met.
- 16:37SPEAKER_00: She talks about, you know, kind of having gone from being a single mom on her own, just just she and Gwen, and then um meeting Todd, working in the prof, you know, in the industry and then meeting Todd.
- 16:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 16:52SPEAKER_01: So she kind of lived every stage of life in San Francisco, kind of.
- 16:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 16:57SPEAKER_00: So that was cool.
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: So she really wanted to go back and show the girls and do all that.
- 17:02SPEAKER_00: Um you know, so that was that was good.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 17:07SPEAKER_01: Uh why they're let's talk about, and I know I'm going back a little too.
- 17:12SPEAKER_01: So they're on the bus, and Bronwa talks about how she did the Oscars.
- 17:17SPEAKER_01: How she was a um, she did the red carpet for the Oscars.
- 17:21SPEAKER_01: And Lisa's like, oh, I've been invited so many times.
- 17:24SPEAKER_01: I just don't ever do that stuff.
- 17:26SPEAKER_00: Do you believe it?
- 17:27SPEAKER_00: Why does Lisa?
- 17:28SPEAKER_00: That is one thing.
- 17:29SPEAKER_00: Last season it was awful that like I was really not liking Lisa last season when she was like, I live a big life.
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: I live I live a different life than you guys.
- 17:39SPEAKER_00: To me, I hate when you are in a group of women and you say something, and then someone else has to one-up you or be like, oh yeah, I get that too.
- 17:48SPEAKER_00: You know, on Housewives of London, they were doing that.
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: Like someone said they were invited to the castle or you know, to meet the prince or go to some, and someone was like, Oh, I always get invited.
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: Like, why can't you just be like, oh my god, that is so cool.
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: Like, I'm so happy for you.
- 18:00SPEAKER_00: They can't just be happy for each other and supportive.
- 18:04SPEAKER_00: No, but I think that says more about Lisa.
- 18:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: Lisa Barlow is one of those people who could probably is like her own worst enemy because there's a lot to like about her.
- 18:16SPEAKER_00: She's obviously had a lot of success, she got two great boys, but she does always have to compare herself, don't you think?
- 18:22SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
- 18:23SPEAKER_01: Always, constantly.
- 18:25SPEAKER_01: And doesn't matter if she's been invited to the Oscars.
- 18:28SPEAKER_01: I'm sure she has.
- 18:29SPEAKER_01: She probably has.
- 18:30SPEAKER_01: She probably has because she's an event planner.
- 18:33SPEAKER_01: She's probably been invited to plan some sort of event for something.
- 18:37SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 18:38SPEAKER_01: And she, I mean, honestly, she trumped them all, getting invited to butt really.
- 18:42SPEAKER_01: Can we be honest?
- 18:43SPEAKER_01: If you got invited to the Oscars, would you turn it down ever?
- 18:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, right.
- 18:49SPEAKER_01: Like No, unless you had some major obligation that would keep you from it, it's a chance of a lifetime.
- 18:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 18:54SPEAKER_00: Remember when she was saying that she was with um Ben Ben um Ben Affleck.
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: Ben Affleck and then it was like it turned out that she wasn't.
- 19:04SPEAKER_00: It well, it was like some event she was in the same room with him.
- 19:06SPEAKER_00: It was like she was an event, he was at, but she was not invited by him.
- 19:11SPEAKER_00: She was saying it like she was like hanging out with or part of his entourage or something.
- 19:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 19:17SPEAKER_00: So I don't know.
- 19:19SPEAKER_00: I think that sometimes she's one of those people that just can't be happy with what when other people succeed.
- 19:24SPEAKER_00: She does have, or uh or yeah, happy for other people, or just happy with what she's doing.
- 19:31SPEAKER_01: Well, Heather kind of called her on her BS too.
- 19:33SPEAKER_01: Heather's like, uh, I got invited as a seat filler to the Golden Globes, and it shows a picture and she's like back in the middle somewhere, and she's like, Of course I went.
- 19:41SPEAKER_01: I don't care if I have a seat filler, I'm there.
- 19:43SPEAKER_01: It's like so I don't believe she's I will I believe she's probably been invited to an Oscar event, but not the Oscars themselves.
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 19:52SPEAKER_00: So who who knows?
- 19:54SPEAKER_00: I'd just be happy for Bronwyn.
- 19:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: Bronwyn's great TV, Bronwan's beautiful, Bronwyn makes good.
- 19:59SPEAKER_00: I could see why people like her.
- 20:00SPEAKER_00: Same thing with Lisa, but you know, she could just be happy.
- 20:04SPEAKER_00: I thought it was hilarious when Whitney said, I'm 69% Irish.
- 20:09SPEAKER_00: And she said that she, so she's got her whole outfit on, and she said that 23 and me told her that.
- 20:16SPEAKER_00: And then in pure Meredith Mark summons, Mark's like, I am zero percent Irish.
- 20:22SPEAKER_00: I won't be dressing up.
- 20:23SPEAKER_00: Like and she didn't dress up, did she?
- 20:25SPEAKER_00: I don't even think she wore green, did she?
- 20:27SPEAKER_00: No.
- 20:27SPEAKER_00: Oh, Meredith Marks.
- 20:29SPEAKER_00: We love Meredith Marks.
- 20:30SPEAKER_00: I think she's so entertaining.
- 20:31SPEAKER_00: So that was another thing that happened.
- 20:33SPEAKER_00: There was a scene at her house, and she's like fiddling with her DJ equipment.
- 20:39SPEAKER_00: And first of all, I really felt for her because this is how I feel like you're looking at it like we don't have some crew.
- 20:45SPEAKER_00: It's Debbie and I trying to figure out how we're recording the podcast, how we're doing the video, how we're loading.
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: How the audio's gonna work, how the audio is gonna work.
- 20:55SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, for those of you that have been following us, you know we had some episodes that were audio only.
- 21:00SPEAKER_00: We've had all this.
- 21:01SPEAKER_00: So I feel for Meredith, she said she got a new microphone, she's up there messing with it.
- 21:05SPEAKER_00: She asked Seth to help her.
- 21:07SPEAKER_00: So, how do we feel about DJ Meredith Mark's career?
- 21:10SPEAKER_01: I think it's great.
- 21:11SPEAKER_01: I mean, I but I've talked about this before, where as women we have to reinvent ourselves all the time.
- 21:17SPEAKER_01: When we're, you know, working in the professional field, we're one person and then we start a family and we're another person, and then our kids go through different stages and we're a different person through those stages.
- 21:27SPEAKER_01: So I think it's great that she's completely reinventing herself and finding new ways to grow and and evolve.
- 21:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, she's a worker and a go-getter.
- 21:34SPEAKER_00: She had a store in Park City, I don't know if she still has that.
- 21:38SPEAKER_00: She's got this caviar company.
- 21:40SPEAKER_00: Jeff Lewis claims her caviar is amazing.
- 21:43SPEAKER_00: I I have not had it.
- 21:45SPEAKER_00: She um she said that she was invited to West Hollywood Pride and it kind of kicked off from there.
- 21:51SPEAKER_00: And she did a whole tour.
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 21:53SPEAKER_00: Like, I mean, obviously, I would assume she's making money off it, or she wouldn't take the time to do it.
- 21:58SPEAKER_00: She said she loves work.
- 21:59SPEAKER_00: You know, Seth asks about helping.
- 22:01SPEAKER_00: She's involving her kids.
- 22:02SPEAKER_01: She's involved her kids, which I thought was funny because Seth set my favorite comment from Seth was uh about the kids and getting the kids involved, and they're constantly calling her for her, you know, asking her what they should do.
- 22:14SPEAKER_01: And he says, You're more than a mother, you're a smother.
- 22:17SPEAKER_01: That's cute.
- 22:18SPEAKER_00: Seth is funny.
- 22:19SPEAKER_00: Seth Seth is goofy and funny.
- 22:22SPEAKER_00: Um, and they were really neat.
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: If you didn't watch Next Gen NYC, um, we were just getting started, so we haven't fully covered that.
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: But it is the show on Bravo, also, that has kids, a lot of the Bravo liberties and other like successful people.
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: In business and entertainment.
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: So Brooks Marks, her son is on there.
- 22:43SPEAKER_00: So she and Seth made a lot of appearances on that show, and it was really good.
- 22:46SPEAKER_00: And Seth actually, I think, almost got to show even more of his personality on there.
- 22:51SPEAKER_00: But she is.
- 22:52SPEAKER_00: She's obviously involved with her kids.
- 22:54SPEAKER_00: She's a good mom.
- 22:55SPEAKER_00: Her one son is not interested in the spotlight at all.
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: She stays out of it.
- 22:59SPEAKER_00: Brooks and his sister are a little, you know, Brooks is the most obviously involved.
- 23:02SPEAKER_00: Um, but that brings up another thing, her facelift again.
- 23:07SPEAKER_00: It, I mean, she does look amazing, but this brings up the question like, when is it too young?
- 23:12SPEAKER_00: Like, how do you want to look?
- 23:14SPEAKER_00: I was, I thought she was around my age, and I looked it up.
- 23:18SPEAKER_00: She is born the same year that I was born.
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: I already had my birthday.
- 23:23SPEAKER_00: So in December, she will be my age.
- 23:25SPEAKER_00: And I'm sitting there looking at her, and I mean, she looks amazing, but it's like, where do you she's even comparing and saying, like, oh, I look as younger than my kids or younger than my daughter.
- 23:36SPEAKER_00: What do you think of all that?
- 23:37SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 23:38SPEAKER_01: I whatever floats her boat.
- 23:39SPEAKER_01: If it makes her feel good, by all means go do it.
- 23:42SPEAKER_01: Would I do it?
- 23:44SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 23:45SPEAKER_01: Probably not.
- 23:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 23:47SPEAKER_00: I'm always like, never say never.
- 23:49SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, I guess I don't want to say never, but it worries me.
- 23:53SPEAKER_00: Like it sometimes worries me like the consequences or the results.
- 23:58SPEAKER_00: Um, but she does, she does look amazing.
- 24:01SPEAKER_00: She looks great.
- 24:02SPEAKER_00: Um and what do we think?
- 24:04SPEAKER_00: What what is that a wig?
- 24:05SPEAKER_01: I'd be interested to say it's definitely a wig.
- 24:07SPEAKER_01: It is 100% a wig.
- 24:09SPEAKER_01: And it's probably because she's only two months out of her facelift.
- 24:11SPEAKER_01: So she's probably still got scarring that's healing.
- 24:13SPEAKER_01: And yeah.
- 24:14SPEAKER_01: So I'll be interested to see how she looks once that wig is gone and she's back to her, and maybe she won't be back to her natural hair.
- 24:20SPEAKER_01: Maybe she'll wear a wig forever.
- 24:21SPEAKER_01: I mean, if I could get out of bed and throw on a wig every day, I'd yeah, how about it?
- 24:25SPEAKER_00: And actually, I read somewhere I was like, yeah, because I I think she had the facelift in February.
- 24:30SPEAKER_00: So actually, if they're filming, like it was really soon after I it must have been a little before that.
- 24:36SPEAKER_00: Because if it's St.
- 24:38SPEAKER_00: Patrick's Day and they're already, but I don't know.
- 24:40SPEAKER_00: I mean, she definitely looks amazing, and it does, you know, bring up a good question of like, do you get a facelift?
- 24:47SPEAKER_00: Do you not get a facelift?
- 24:49SPEAKER_00: Do you get you know, fillers?
- 24:51SPEAKER_00: And but again, everybody should do whatever makes them feel comfortable.
- 24:54SPEAKER_00: She feels good.
- 24:55SPEAKER_00: It's a very individualized thing, and I'm like, more power to you.
- 24:58SPEAKER_00: She definitely looks amazing.
- 25:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she's proud of it.
- 25:02SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, she looks so young.
- 25:04SPEAKER_00: And like DJ, I mean, work it kind of like Countess Luann.
- 25:08SPEAKER_00: If you can have something you're passionate about and you like, it's like work it as long as you can.
- 25:14SPEAKER_00: Go for it.
- 25:16SPEAKER_00: So, what else happened?
- 25:18SPEAKER_01: Oh, the end of the show, and they end up in a brawl outside the bar.
- 25:22SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 25:24SPEAKER_01: They're fighting in the van.
- 25:25SPEAKER_01: They go to the bar, they're fighting in the bar.
- 25:27SPEAKER_01: And Ashley's in tears because of the way she's been treated.
- 25:31SPEAKER_01: And Meredith and Lisa are the ones consoling Ashley.
- 25:34SPEAKER_01: I thought that was interesting.
- 25:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Lisa really Lisa was sticking up for her from the van, going forward.
- 25:40SPEAKER_00: Lisa really did stick up for her.
- 25:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, Lisa basically said this is the problem here.
- 25:44SPEAKER_01: Everybody feels like they can feel free to say whatever's on their mind, but nobody will take accountability that they actually did say it.
- 25:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, flip-flop.
- 25:51SPEAKER_01: So yeah, that was the one time I really liked Lisa Barlow.
- 25:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she really was sticking up for her.
- 25:57SPEAKER_00: She's like, it doesn't matter if you're here five minutes or five years or whatever, you can have your say, you can say what you want to.
- 26:04SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, Ashley was crying and she's really mad at Whitney, and I kind of don't blame her.
- 26:09SPEAKER_01: Well I don't team Ashley on that one.
- 26:11SPEAKER_01: Whitney, she told Whitney something in confidence, and Whitney blurted it to every Tom, Dick, and Harry she knew.
- 26:16SPEAKER_01: She didn't care who she was telling.
- 26:18SPEAKER_02: Mm-hmm.
- 26:19SPEAKER_01: And she and Whitney are supposed to have this special relationship.
- 26:22SPEAKER_01: I'm quite sure Whitney shared some stuff with Ashley that I don't think Ashley would share.
- 26:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 26:28SPEAKER_00: She um Ashley's like, you know, I'm gonna tell my brother he's gonna be so disappointed in you that you treated me this way.
- 26:33SPEAKER_00: Like Ashley came into this experience thinking that Whitney Whitney was her allied.
- 26:38SPEAKER_02: Mm-hmm.
- 26:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 26:39SPEAKER_00: She let her down.
- 26:40SPEAKER_00: No.
- 26:41SPEAKER_00: And Whitney.
- 26:42SPEAKER_00: Oh, and here's the other thing.
- 26:43SPEAKER_00: This is supposed to be sober, Whitney, now, because she was not drinking.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: Because she was talking earlier in the season, obviously the first two episodes about her drinking being a problem.
- 26:52SPEAKER_00: Well, it's like She's blamed everything on drinking, and she can't blame it this time.
- 26:55SPEAKER_01: No.
- 26:56SPEAKER_01: If this is what she But I don't like Whitney and the confessional where she's like, ah, maybe I said things wrong.
- 27:02SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 27:03SPEAKER_01: If I did, uh no accountability.
- 27:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I don't know.
- 27:09SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be interesting this season.
- 27:10SPEAKER_00: I still think I'm still trying to decide if the stuff with her husband is just a storyline or real.
- 27:17SPEAKER_00: I think we'll get into that.
- 27:18SPEAKER_00: I think there will be a whole episode dedicated to them and their relationship.
- 27:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 27:24SPEAKER_00: It'll be interesting.
- 27:25SPEAKER_00: And I still think that Quay, well, I guess they're building that house, but that could just be their vacation house if they live in Florida.
- 27:32SPEAKER_00: Like I'm still trying to figure out if she because she said she moved there to help her brother.
- 27:39SPEAKER_00: When did she meet Stephen?
- 27:40SPEAKER_00: How long have they been together?
- 27:41SPEAKER_00: She said that was like four years ago that she did the toilet.
- 27:45SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 27:46SPEAKER_01: That's still that still boggles my mind.
- 27:49SPEAKER_01: I can't believe she would do that.
- 27:50SPEAKER_00: I just don't think I can ever like her now because I just think, even though, hey, she was like, Yeah, I did it, I would do it again.
- 27:56SPEAKER_00: And something like, watch out.
- 27:57SPEAKER_00: What did she?
- 27:58SPEAKER_00: She made some kind of something so petty that some like high school.
- 28:02SPEAKER_00: It's so disgusting.
- 28:03SPEAKER_00: And it just to me, like honestly, I I hate to say it, it just says something about somebody that would do that.
- 28:09SPEAKER_01: And I don't even know the way she explained it.
- 28:13SPEAKER_01: I don't even know if they were in a serious relationship or they were just kind of talking to each other and she saw another girl's name pop up on this phone, and that's why she did it because she was mad.
- 28:21SPEAKER_00: She said it was actually text messages with a friend that was the friend was trying to get him to talk to some other girl.
- 28:27SPEAKER_00: So he wasn't even It wasn't even his fault.
- 28:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it wasn't even his fault, and she did it.
- 28:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 28:33SPEAKER_01: So that'll be interesting.
- 28:35SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 28:35SPEAKER_01: I'm still on the fence with her.
- 28:37SPEAKER_01: I think she's I think she's gonna bring a lot to the show.
- 28:41SPEAKER_01: I think um I it'll be it'll be interesting to see how it plays out because I think we're gonna love her but hate her at the same time.
- 28:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 28:49SPEAKER_00: So yeah.
- 28:51SPEAKER_00: Well, I guess we'll have to wait in two minutes.
- 28:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, next week should be good.
- 28:56SPEAKER_01: Um the trailer kind of alluded to Angie talking about her marriage and how she's really struggling with her marriage, and so that'll I think they'll delve into that in this next episode.
- 29:06SPEAKER_00: And I sadly think that is real, and I hate it because I would love for them to really dig in and work on it.
- 29:13SPEAKER_00: They've been together 25 years, she said.
- 29:16SPEAKER_00: I'm just you know, I mean built an empire together.
- 29:21SPEAKER_00: I like him.
- 29:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I yeah, I so that'll be interesting to see and see how Mary does and and all of that.
- 29:28SPEAKER_00: Mary was on Watch What Happens Live.
- 29:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, Watch What Happens Live.
- 29:33SPEAKER_01: It was Mary and Ricky Lake, and Ricky looks phenomenal, I think.
- 29:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she looks cool.
- 29:38SPEAKER_01: I love her.
- 29:39SPEAKER_01: I grew up watching her show.
- 29:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she's fun.
- 29:42SPEAKER_01: But um, one question that Andy asked Mary in the comp in Watch What Happens Live is he said, you know, let's talk about Brownman and Todd.
- 29:50SPEAKER_01: Mary, do you feel bad for Todd?
- 29:52SPEAKER_01: And Mary's not there for a moment.
- 29:53SPEAKER_01: She goes, Yes, I do.
- 29:55SPEAKER_01: I I know him personally and I feel bad.
- 29:57SPEAKER_01: I thought that was interesting.
- 29:58SPEAKER_00: Mary's a smart cookie.
- 30:00SPEAKER_00: She's obviously being a pastor and everything.
- 30:02SPEAKER_00: She's got a lot of empathy for people.
- 30:03SPEAKER_00: She's been through a lot in her life.
- 30:05SPEAKER_00: And I mean, Todd's not perfect.
- 30:08SPEAKER_00: And you just don't know.
- 30:09SPEAKER_00: Like, you only know we only see snippets of what's going on.
- 30:12SPEAKER_00: Um, a good example, too, like they get these spouses and they might be a little bit of like an unwilling participant, and they get on camera and maybe they're not 100% comfortable.
- 30:22SPEAKER_00: Um, like Emily on um Real Housewives of Orange County, her husband Shane, I think is actually really nice.
- 30:30SPEAKER_00: Like I've heard their podcast, I've heard them on Jeff Lewis Live and some other shows.
- 30:35SPEAKER_00: And Shane, but he would come off so bad in the beginning seasons when they were first on there.
- 30:42SPEAKER_00: But I think it was like he was just uncomfortable.
- 30:44SPEAKER_00: He's got a snarky sense of humor, and I think he wasn't great that happy about being on camera.
- 30:50SPEAKER_00: But I actually think so.
- 30:56SPEAKER_00: They, I think she probably agreed to some things in that marriage that she later regretted agreeing to because she wanted to make him happy.
- 31:04SPEAKER_00: So who knows?
- 31:05SPEAKER_01: But and she's kind of a free spirit, yeah.
- 31:08SPEAKER_00: So I think she's enjoying this new this new phase.
- 31:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 31:13SPEAKER_00: Um, while you were watching, did you see the real Housewives of Potomac?
- 31:17SPEAKER_00: I did.
- 31:17SPEAKER_00: It's a lot of drama on that one.
- 31:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 31:20SPEAKER_00: So what do you think about that?
- 31:21SPEAKER_00: That one will be interesting.
- 31:22SPEAKER_00: So that, like you said in our little promo, that's coming up.
- 31:26SPEAKER_00: Um, if you don't watch Potomac, it looks like there's gonna be some old people coming back, even if it's just for a visit.
- 31:32SPEAKER_00: Karen Huger is out of prison.
- 31:35SPEAKER_00: Karen Huger went to jail for a DUI.
- 31:38SPEAKER_00: It was not her first.
- 31:39SPEAKER_00: She had had multiple DUIs, finally served time in jail.
- 31:42SPEAKER_00: And one of the things from the um promo that was on during the show last night was her husband saying something about, I think I like the so I think the not, what did he say?
- 31:58SPEAKER_00: The not, I don't know about the not drinking.
- 32:00SPEAKER_00: How did he say the not sober Karen Huger?
- 32:03SPEAKER_00: And I was like, that is not good.
- 32:06SPEAKER_01: The not sober Karen Huger would have been more fun or something like that.
- 32:08SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 32:09SPEAKER_00: I think it was the not sober Karen Huger was more fun.
- 32:13SPEAKER_00: And I'm thinking, did he really just say this to his wife that literally got in a horrible drunk driving accident, thankfully did not hurt herself or someone else, went to jail, got out of jail.
- 32:27SPEAKER_01: Sobered up to correct her problems, and he makes a comment like that.
- 32:30SPEAKER_00: That alone, I mean, I was gonna watch anyway, but that alone will make you watch because I want to see what is going on with the black Bill Gates.
- 32:39SPEAKER_00: You know, Karen Huger, Karen Huger always referred to her husband as the black Bill Gates, and she was the grand dom of Potomac, but she kind of gave that up after she kind of fell off her pedestal.
- 32:52SPEAKER_01: I would love to see her make a comeback though.
- 32:54SPEAKER_01: Like a really strong comeback as a sober human.
- 32:57SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 32:58SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 32:58SPEAKER_00: She's in her mid-60s, I think.
- 33:00SPEAKER_00: I mean, she's got you know, she's got grown children.
- 33:03SPEAKER_00: Um I do like that show.
- 33:05SPEAKER_00: I really like Robin, who is a bit Robin Dixon, but but you know, she made bad decisions.
- 33:10SPEAKER_00: But Robin, I think, was bad.
- 33:12SPEAKER_00: I don't know if she's coming back or she was just on the preview.
- 33:15SPEAKER_00: I've always liked Giselle.
- 33:17SPEAKER_00: And then oh my god, who's the young one that's so cute?
- 33:19SPEAKER_00: What I can't, oh my god, I'm awful.
- 33:22SPEAKER_00: She got divorced, has two boys.
- 33:25SPEAKER_00: Ashley, Ashley Darby.
- 33:27SPEAKER_00: Ashley Darby.
- 33:29SPEAKER_00: I love her.
- 33:30SPEAKER_00: She was also on The Love Hotel, which was if you could go back and watch The Love Hotel, that was another Bravo show, like a dating show.
