- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio. Hey, everybody's Bob Ginny here. Welcome to the
- 0:08Speaker 1: Almost Famous Podcast. My lovely counterpart, Trista Sutter Nae Wren
- 0:13Speaker 1: was unavailable today, so I'm jumping on for a little
- 0:16Speaker 1: bit of breaking news, some sad stuff actually in Bachelor
- 0:20Speaker 1: Nation today. We're just came out that Grant and Juliana
- 0:24Speaker 1: have broken up. Bummer obviously after three months. But you know,
- 0:30Speaker 1: I will say from experience, it can be kind of tough,
- 0:33Speaker 1: especially when you're all over the place, which I mean
- 0:36Speaker 1: I really didn't follow the two of them so much
- 0:40Speaker 1: right after the show had aired, but for whatever reason,
- 0:44Speaker 1: I recently noticed Grant was like in Shanghai, and then
- 0:47Speaker 1: another day he's in you know, here and there, and
- 0:49Speaker 1: he is kind of all over the map, and a
- 0:51Speaker 1: lot of it was by himself.
- 0:52Speaker 2: And let's be honest, it's tough in a conventional.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Normal relationship when the two people never see each other, right,
- 1:01Speaker 1: It's difficult when that happens. And I think that that
- 1:04Speaker 1: might be what's at play here. So at any rate,
- 1:07Speaker 1: statements just came out, I'll read them for you. Grant statement,
- 1:12Speaker 1: This is one of the hardest things I've ever had
- 1:13Speaker 1: to write, but I want to share it Honestly, Julianne
- 1:16Speaker 1: and I have decided to end our relationship. We both
- 1:18Speaker 1: gave this our best and poured a lot of love
- 1:20Speaker 1: into each other, but after a lot of deep conversations,
- 1:22Speaker 1: we've come to the understanding that we're simply not the right.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Fit long term. What we have is meaningful.
- 1:27Speaker 1: The connection we built on the show was real, and
- 1:29Speaker 1: so is the effort that we've made to continue once
- 1:31Speaker 1: the cameras stopped rolling. There's no negativity here and no resentment,
- 1:35Speaker 1: just two people who care about each other and want
- 1:37Speaker 1: the best for one another. Moving forward, I'll always be
- 1:39Speaker 1: grateful for what we shared and for the growth that
- 1:41Speaker 1: came with it. Thank you to everyone who supported us
- 1:43Speaker 1: and believed in our journey. This chapter is closing, but
- 1:46Speaker 1: we're both walking away with love and respect in our hearts.
- 1:49Speaker 1: So that was Grant's statement regarding their breakup.
- 1:53Speaker 2: So you know, here's the thing.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Relationships are interesting, obviously, Relationships on the back, Butler are
- 2:02Speaker 1: an enigma wrapped in a riddle, shrouded in mystery. I mean,
- 2:06Speaker 1: it's you know, you never know at least one of
- 2:09Speaker 1: these things are going to work out?
- 2:10Speaker 2: Which one aren't.
- 2:11Speaker 1: You know, a lot of people felt like at the
- 2:13Speaker 1: end of this show that Grant made the wrong choice
- 2:16Speaker 1: for him and his future. I didn't, actually, I thought
- 2:20Speaker 1: this was actually an interesting choice.
- 2:22Speaker 2: But I thought it could it could have been just
- 2:24Speaker 2: the right mix to make it work. But you know,
- 2:27Speaker 2: what do I know? Guys? You know, I don't know anything,
- 2:30Speaker 2: But I feel like, you.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Know, what he's saying here is that you know, they've
- 2:34Speaker 1: they've decided to end their relationship now. It is kind
- 2:37Speaker 1: of interesting because it's on the heels of a recent
- 2:39Speaker 1: interview where they were talking about moving in together, and
- 2:43Speaker 1: so it begs a question, did something recently happen that
- 2:46Speaker 1: sort of triggered this, or was the idea of actually
- 2:49Speaker 1: moving in together kind of did that create some cold
- 2:52Speaker 1: feet and maybe make people start looking in the mirror
- 2:54Speaker 1: a little bit more and wondering where things were going?
- 2:57Speaker 1: Who knows, you know, no one ever knows what goes
- 2:59Speaker 1: on behind closed doors with any couple, whether they're from
- 3:02Speaker 1: a television show or whether they're from a tender, or
- 3:06Speaker 1: whether they're from a local bar. Right, it's all the
- 3:08Speaker 1: same kind of thing. Emotions are evolved, hearts are involved.
- 3:12Speaker 1: I do love that the no negativity and no resentment
- 3:14Speaker 1: part is in there because I think that it's a
- 3:16Speaker 1: good thing. And time will tell, you know, if that's true,
- 3:19Speaker 1: which I think is something that we'll find. Probably is
- 3:22Speaker 1: because these two did seem to have I thought kind
- 3:25Speaker 1: of a nice relationship. Now. Juliana also put out a statement,
- 3:28Speaker 1: and it's interesting that it wasn't a joint statement because
- 3:31Speaker 1: a lot of times in these breakups, you know, when
- 3:34Speaker 1: they're really seemingly, you know, kind of a mutual thing,
- 3:38Speaker 1: they can often be a joint statement, but this one
- 3:40Speaker 1: was not.
- 3:40Speaker 2: It says, it's a gift to find someone who sees the.
- 3:42Speaker 1: World in a way that resonates with you and while
- 3:44Speaker 1: also encouraging you to grow. I've been grateful to share
- 3:47Speaker 1: that experience with Grant. That's very nice. Opening marriage is
- 3:51Speaker 1: a commitment. It's one we both still believe in deeply.
- 3:54Speaker 1: After a lot of honest conversations and reflection, we've come
- 3:57Speaker 1: to the decision that this chapter of our lives is
- 3:58Speaker 1: meant to continue on separate paths.
- 4:01Speaker 2: We shared something.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Meaningful, navigating a unique journey side by side, learning, growing,
- 4:06Speaker 1: and showing up for each other the best we knew
- 4:08Speaker 1: how and while this isn't the ending we once imagined,
- 4:11Speaker 1: it's one filled with mutual respect, care and hope for
- 4:14Speaker 1: what's ahead.
- 4:14Speaker 2: We're still cheering each other on, just from different places. Now.
- 4:17Speaker 1: I'm beyond thankful for all the love and support you
- 4:19Speaker 1: all have given us.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Please be kind.
- 4:22Speaker 1: That's a really nice she That was really nice. I
- 4:26Speaker 1: like Juliana's statement very much here again. You know, I
- 4:29Speaker 1: think we're seeing two people who you know, you never
- 4:33Speaker 1: know who initiated the breakup, you never know where it started,
- 4:35Speaker 1: where it ended. Lord knows, I've been through a few myself,
- 4:39Speaker 1: and you know, sometimes it really is what it seems
- 4:42Speaker 1: that two people just haven't you know, two people just
- 4:46Speaker 1: realize that they're not right to go on that next
- 4:48Speaker 1: step in their journey together. Marriage is a big one, man,
- 4:51Speaker 1: and I'm glad they made this decision before they before
- 4:54Speaker 1: they jumped into something and then, you know, God forbid,
- 4:58Speaker 1: brought kids into the world and everything else, and then
- 4:59Speaker 1: realize as they were on the wrong path. So hey,
- 5:02Speaker 1: you know, you got to you got to find the
- 5:03Speaker 1: positive on things. And I think, you know, from a
- 5:05Speaker 1: glass half full perspective, which I like to look at
- 5:08Speaker 1: life as much as I can. Good for them, right,
- 5:10Speaker 1: I mean, at the end of the day, they had
- 5:12Speaker 1: this magical moment on this really cool show that got
- 5:15Speaker 1: them to do some really cool stuff. And you know,
- 5:19Speaker 1: and and I think one of the hardest things about
- 5:21Speaker 1: the show today, which wasn't around obviously when when I
- 5:24Speaker 1: was filming either trist the season of The Bachelorette or
- 5:27Speaker 1: my own season of The Bachelor, was everyone's opinions now resonate, right,
- 5:33Speaker 1: So you've got social media that literally more people watch
- 5:37Speaker 1: the show on social media now than watching on actual television,
- 5:40Speaker 1: and more people chime in from that perspective as well.
- 5:43Speaker 1: And everybody's got an opinion, and it's usually jaded. It's
- 5:46Speaker 1: usually coming from somewhere that you know, has a tinge
- 5:49Speaker 1: of something that's like, you know, a little dagger. People
- 5:53Speaker 1: like to take their shots, and that can take a
- 5:56Speaker 1: toll on a person. And I'm sure on a relationship too,
- 5:59Speaker 1: So who knows, who knows what was going on here,
- 6:03Speaker 1: But I will say I like that both of them
- 6:05Speaker 1: made statements that were very respectful and kind to one another.
- 6:08Speaker 1: I think that's a big, big, big thing and shows
- 6:10Speaker 1: their maturity as individuals too.
- 6:12Speaker 2: So let's dig in a little deeper here.
- 6:15Speaker 1: You know, in grant statement, he chose a photo to
- 6:19Speaker 1: post where they're both It's from People Magazines, the photoshoot
- 6:22Speaker 1: of their engagement.
- 6:23Speaker 2: You know, they're looking super happy. They're both looking right
- 6:26Speaker 2: at the camera.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Juliana's got her hand in the air showing that that
- 6:29Speaker 1: rock of an engagement.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Neil Lane engagement ring that will be returned to producers,
- 6:34Speaker 2: I'm sure very soon.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Juliana, on the other hand, chose a picture where she
- 6:39Speaker 1: looks very elegant and the back of Grant's head looks nice.
- 6:42Speaker 1: So not sure what that means, right, Not sure if
- 6:47Speaker 1: maybe she just couldn't, you know, stand the idea of
- 6:50Speaker 1: putting his face on a picture with her at that moment,
- 6:53Speaker 1: because I'm sure you know. Here's the thing, here's the
- 6:55Speaker 1: thing I do know about breakups, of which I've been
- 6:58Speaker 1: through many.
- 7:00Speaker 2: You know, even when you want them, you're still sad.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Right, So, even when you know it's the right thing
- 7:05Speaker 1: to do, whether it's a dating relationship breaking up or
- 7:08Speaker 1: a marital relationship splitting up, or whatever it might be,
- 7:11Speaker 1: it still sucks.
- 7:12Speaker 2: There's no two ways around it.
- 7:13Speaker 1: So I think from that perspective, you know, maybe we're
- 7:17Speaker 1: seeing a little bit of that from her as well.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Right, So.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Would you would you would anyone else out there think
- 7:23Speaker 1: that maybe this seems like Grant initiated this, because I
- 7:26Speaker 1: would think from the pictures that maybe that's what that means. Now.
- 7:29Speaker 1: I am not a photo analysis person for US Weekly
- 7:32Speaker 1: or People Magazine, but I am a photo taker on
- 7:36Speaker 1: my cell phone, and I can tell you from my
- 7:39Speaker 1: expert opinion and my expert analysis, that's what I'm doing.
- 7:43Speaker 1: That's where I'm coming from. I think, I think that's
- 7:45Speaker 1: what happened here. But and it is hard. I will
- 7:47Speaker 1: say this, it is hard to kind of remove yourself.
- 7:51Speaker 1: I've noticed that over the years of watching this show
- 7:53Speaker 1: because I was so so long.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Ago that I've forgotten what it was like for myself.
- 7:57Speaker 1: But having you know, watched the season year over year,
- 7:59Speaker 1: it's seems like it's harder for the people who are
- 8:01Speaker 1: the the leads of the show, who are kind of
- 8:05Speaker 1: put out there on the promotional schedules to maybe, you know,
- 8:11Speaker 1: realize that, you know, in order to make this work,
- 8:15Speaker 1: the relationship work, you got to kind of take yourself
- 8:18Speaker 1: out of that channel, right, I mean it's it's long
- 8:22Speaker 1: been the why the bachelorettes are more successful than the
- 8:24Speaker 1: bachelor's right, the bachelorette couple are more successful than the
- 8:26Speaker 1: bachelor couples. And maybe that's why the Bachelor in Paradise
- 8:29Speaker 1: couples are successful too, because they're not as in demand.
- 8:33Speaker 1: I guess maybe from that perspective after their seasons are over.
- 8:36Speaker 1: But the bachelorette couples tristas a primary example. My co
- 8:41Speaker 1: ho is Trista.
- 8:42Speaker 2: You know, she took herself off the whole thing, right,
- 8:45Speaker 2: and she.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Focused on her and Ryan, and she and Ryan were
- 8:47Speaker 1: like focused on each other, and they took that time
- 8:50Speaker 1: that they needed, I think, to kind of solidify or
- 8:52Speaker 1: cement that relationship. Becau. Let's be honest, guys. I mean
- 8:55Speaker 1: these shows are fast, right. You meet thirty people on
- 8:58Speaker 1: night one. I mean back when we did it on
- 9:01Speaker 1: the Ogs, four weeks later, you're supposed to be dropping
- 9:04Speaker 1: to a knee and popping a box, right. I think that,
- 9:08Speaker 1: you know, from that perspective, now it's a longer season.
- 9:11Speaker 1: I think now it's like seven or eight weeks that
- 9:12Speaker 1: they actually filmed because they travel so much more. But
- 9:15Speaker 1: I feel like now it's got to be or that,
- 9:19Speaker 1: I feel like it was even more difficult, which is
- 9:20Speaker 1: why the season takes a little bit longer now. But
- 9:23Speaker 1: now it's more difficult, I think, because you know, you've
- 9:25Speaker 1: got a lot of people out there that are kind
- 9:27Speaker 1: of working the circuit, you know, popping up their hair
- 9:30Speaker 1: gummies and the tooth whitening kits, and then at the
- 9:34Speaker 1: end of the day, they're also you know, trying to
- 9:36Speaker 1: solidify a relationship. My lovely co host Trista suttern nay
- 9:50Speaker 1: Ren told us that she is sad by this breaking news.
- 9:55Speaker 2: And and you know, I am too. I Mean, I
- 9:58Speaker 2: don't know these people.
- 9:59Speaker 1: I don't know them a all, but I do feel
- 10:02Speaker 1: a weird kind of connection to them, having been on
- 10:05Speaker 1: The Bachelor at first and then the Bachelor, and it
- 10:07Speaker 1: is kind of weird that we all feel like we
- 10:08Speaker 1: have this strange connection with each other, and we all
- 10:10Speaker 1: meet and you know, when we ever we do meet up,
- 10:12Speaker 1: it's almost like we know each other. But I'm sad
- 10:15Speaker 1: by this too, because I know that no relationship, especially
- 10:18Speaker 1: one that's public, do you want to feel like you
- 10:23Speaker 1: got off the train early, right? I mean, you never
- 10:26Speaker 1: want to feel like you're that person who went through
- 10:29Speaker 1: all this stuff and then at the end failed, and
- 10:32Speaker 1: that is how it feels. I will say that I'm
- 10:34Speaker 1: sure that both of them are experiencing a little bit
- 10:36Speaker 1: of embarrassment, which I know probably isn't a popular thing
- 10:39Speaker 1: to say, but I know having been divorced. My ex
- 10:43Speaker 1: wife was an actress, and when we got divorced and
- 10:44Speaker 1: it was all over people and magazine at the time
- 10:46Speaker 1: there were actually magazines and US Weekly and all that
- 10:49Speaker 1: kind of stuff, I was as embarrassed as I was hurt,
- 10:52Speaker 1: right because I didn't want to fail.
- 10:55Speaker 2: I wanted to succeed.
- 10:55Speaker 1: I wanted everyone to think that we're the ones and
- 10:58Speaker 1: we got it right, you know, and because that's what
- 11:01Speaker 1: I thought when we got married, and and you know, so,
- 11:04Speaker 1: I think that there's a part of that that probably
- 11:06Speaker 1: is you know, is a part of these statements too.
- 11:09Speaker 1: As they're protecting each other, they're protecting themselves. They realize
- 11:12Speaker 1: there's going to be backlash.
- 11:14Speaker 2: They realized that people that were you know, is it real?
- 11:16Speaker 2: Is it fake? You know, now they're gonna be like,
- 11:18Speaker 2: I told you it was fake, and it's like, no,
- 11:19Speaker 2: it wasn't fake.
- 11:21Speaker 1: We were really feeling each other now for three months
- 11:24Speaker 1: and three months. I mean, hey man, you know, in
- 11:27Speaker 1: Hollywood standards, that's a that's a you know, ten year anniversary.
- 11:32Speaker 2: I'm kidding. I don't mean to laugh, but you know, anyway,
- 11:35Speaker 2: let's let's look at this.
- 11:36Speaker 1: So not too long previous, Grant had said that he
- 11:42Speaker 1: and Juliana were taking their engagement day by day.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Now that I will tell you as a telltale.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Right. So, one thing I've learned from watching these shows
- 11:50Speaker 1: over the years and and seeing, you know, a few
- 11:53Speaker 1: months later as people come through, and if they still
- 11:56Speaker 1: haven't set a date, or maybe they still haven't you know,
- 12:00Speaker 1: arrived at something.
- 12:01Speaker 2: I mean three months, I think that's probably a little premature,
- 12:05Speaker 2: you know. I think everybody's taking it day by day.
- 12:06Speaker 1: At that point, they hadn't even moved in together, right,
- 12:09Speaker 1: So I think I think from that perspective, maybe that's
- 12:12Speaker 1: not as much of a telltale as as it would
- 12:14Speaker 1: have been six months down the road.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Right, six months, nine months, a year, we still don't
- 12:18Speaker 2: have a date. We're taking it day by day. That's
- 12:20Speaker 2: huge red flag.
- 12:23Speaker 1: A couple however, that I think was awesome and kind
- 12:25Speaker 1: of dispelled this whole thing was Jojo and and her guy,
- 12:30Speaker 1: the guy she married, Jordan, thank you, a couple that
- 12:35Speaker 1: I think kind of dispelled that that myth was Jojo
- 12:39Speaker 1: and Jordan.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Right, a lot of things came up.
- 12:40Speaker 1: COVID came up while they were in the midst of
- 12:43Speaker 1: their planning of their wedding, and so they postponed.
- 12:46Speaker 2: It and everyone's like, oh, oh, here we go, here's
- 12:48Speaker 2: another one.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Right, super long engagement, and now they're happily married and
- 12:52Speaker 1: seemingly super happy. And you know, guys, that's another thing too.
- 12:56Speaker 1: A lot of this stuff with social media, you forget
- 12:58Speaker 1: we only see the highlights, right, I mean the people
- 13:00Speaker 1: that are actually throwing the bad stuff up there, well,
- 13:02Speaker 1: we don't really follow them that long either, right. We
- 13:04Speaker 1: kind of are like, Man, I'm not going on Instagram
- 13:07Speaker 1: to get sad today, although I do love a lot
- 13:09Speaker 1: of those posts about dogs and stuff.
- 13:10Speaker 2: But dogs and kids always get me.
- 13:13Speaker 1: But when it comes to like, you know, the people
- 13:15Speaker 1: that are are part of the show or part of
- 13:18Speaker 1: the you know, the zeitgeist of what the Bachelor has created,
- 13:21Speaker 1: I mean, it's the highlights. We aren't seeing what's going
- 13:24Speaker 1: on day to day. So it doesn't mean they're misleading us.
- 13:27Speaker 1: It just means that they're posting the good days, right,
- 13:30Speaker 1: and they're not necessarily posting the days.
- 13:32Speaker 2: That aren't so great.
- 13:33Speaker 1: So but anyway, Graham had mentioned a few weeks before
- 13:36Speaker 1: the split that they were taking their relationship day by
- 13:39Speaker 1: day and that they you know, they have a lot
- 13:42Speaker 1: of love and support between their family and friends, and
- 13:45Speaker 1: he was supposed to be moving to Boston and they
- 13:47Speaker 1: were going to move in.
- 13:48Speaker 2: With each other.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Boston's a great SETI I love it. But you know
- 13:51Speaker 1: what they they did not.
- 13:55Speaker 2: They did not last guys, and that is the news
- 13:58Speaker 2: of today. Those are the hot time topics of today.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Now there are some others, and we have a couple
- 14:05Speaker 1: others who where engagements were called off, and let's get
- 14:07Speaker 1: into them a little bit. I'm gonna go with the
- 14:09Speaker 1: ones I know first and then I'm gonna go with
- 14:11Speaker 1: some others. So Katie and Blake Bachelor at Season seventeen,
- 14:17Speaker 1: it was a he said, she said for sure. Two
- 14:19Speaker 1: months after the Bachelor and accept the proposal from the
- 14:21Speaker 1: Canadian wildlife manager on air, they posted matching messages to
- 14:25Speaker 1: Instagram announcing they go on.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Their separate ways, and you know there was something there.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Obviously they felt enough to get together, but then you know,
- 14:35Speaker 1: it didn't work out. Taysha Adams and Zach Clark. I've
- 14:39Speaker 1: met Tasha very lovely the Bachelor of Season sixteen. They
- 14:43Speaker 1: were together a year, right, so that was pretty good,
- 14:47Speaker 1: but you know, it kind of ended and all she
- 14:50Speaker 1: had to say was that she was heartbroken. She move
- 14:53Speaker 1: moved cross country to join Zach in New York. We
- 14:55Speaker 1: tried really hard. I still love them very much. I'm
- 14:57Speaker 1: just not sure what the future holds. And you know,
- 15:00Speaker 1: that's that's tough.
- 15:01Speaker 2: He said.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Two good people don't always make a good relationship, and
- 15:03Speaker 1: that's my experience. So a little, you know, a little
- 15:07Speaker 1: more of a more concise message, I guess. Okay, Nate
- 15:12Speaker 1: and Michelle, you know, they were going to other lesson
- 15:14Speaker 1: a year. She had said, I'm struggling to say that
- 15:16Speaker 1: Nate and I will be going our separate ways. He
- 15:18Speaker 1: chimed in, and he had said, you know, we were
- 15:21Speaker 1: looking for our soulmates, our forever, our best friends. However,
- 15:24Speaker 1: we grow and learn and we realize that sometimes somebody
- 15:26Speaker 1: that you hold dear to your heart isn't somebody that
- 15:28Speaker 1: you meant to spend the rest of your life with.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Well, that's a pretty eloquent statement.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Actually, months later on The Vile Files, they said they
- 15:35Speaker 1: come close to breaking up many times before, and it
- 15:37Speaker 1: was tough and they were having a rough time.
- 15:41Speaker 2: I get it.
- 15:41Speaker 1: I mean, relationships are hard, guys, That's why not everybody
- 15:44Speaker 1: does it right. However, breaking news on this breaking news,
- 15:48Speaker 1: Michelle just got married to her husband Jack on June seventh,
- 15:51Speaker 1: So congrats to her.
- 15:53Speaker 2: The pictures were just released yesterday.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Very exciting news that Michelle's happy met her before in
- 15:59Speaker 1: Tahoe I think or it was in northern.
- 16:01Speaker 2: California, and she was lovely. Susie Evans and Clayton eckered.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Now I have met Clayton. I have not met Susie,
- 16:08Speaker 1: although I've seen Susie in the news quite a bit. Now,
- 16:10Speaker 1: he said, she said, here we go, she said, we
- 16:14Speaker 1: understand that there will likely be a lot of questions.
- 16:16Speaker 2: About this decisions.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Social media is definitely a highlight, and much of our
- 16:20Speaker 1: experiences together we have kept private. I'm sure most can understand. Oh,
- 16:23Speaker 1: that was actually a joint statement, so that's good, but.
- 16:27Speaker 2: We will share this.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Almost last year together has brought us joy and laughs.
- 16:30Speaker 1: There's also been a lot of pain, Damn, that's that
- 16:34Speaker 1: didn't end the way I thought it was. I should
- 16:35Speaker 1: have read ahead, guys, Sorry about that. Rachel and Tino
- 16:39Speaker 1: Franco Bachelor at season nineteen a few months you know,
- 16:45Speaker 1: this was the one where Rachel told hosts Jesse Palmer
- 16:48Speaker 1: Tino kissed another woman.
- 16:50Speaker 2: It's just heartbreaking.
- 16:50Speaker 1: This is the person I thought I was going to
- 16:51Speaker 1: spend the rest of my life with and start a
- 16:53Speaker 1: family with.
- 16:54Speaker 2: That's always rough when it works.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Out that way, you know, that's it's tough. Gabby and
- 17:00Speaker 1: Eric from The Bachelor at season nineteen. She was the
- 17:05Speaker 1: Dancing with the Stars contestant. She didn't quick step around
- 17:08Speaker 1: the issue. I love that she said. I just get
- 17:11Speaker 1: I went through.
- 17:12Speaker 2: A breakup and it's been tough.
- 17:14Speaker 1: The end of our relationship happened because we weren't completely
- 17:16Speaker 1: in step and then sync with each other in our
- 17:18Speaker 1: common goals of how we approached life.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Now, you know, I'll say this too.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Obviously, there's a lot more breakups than successes in the
- 17:26Speaker 1: world of The Bachelor and the Bachelorette, right Hence the
- 17:30Speaker 1: way that we go about this show, like when the
- 17:32Speaker 1: ones do work out, we're stoked. I mean, it's exciting.
- 17:34Speaker 1: We're all super fired up, but you know, the relationships
- 17:38Speaker 1: actually are probably longer than what we realize.
- 17:41Speaker 2: And I'll say it for this.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Back in the day on my season, you know, I
- 17:46Speaker 1: didn't propose, but a Stella Gardner, who's a lovely person
- 17:50Speaker 1: and still a friend of mine to this day, I
- 17:54Speaker 1: gave her a promise ring.
- 17:55Speaker 2: We started dating.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Our show the finale taped in July, and we broke
- 18:00Speaker 1: up in December, which.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Was what that's that's four months, right, four and a
- 18:05Speaker 2: half months.
- 18:06Speaker 1: But to the viewing public, they thought it was three
- 18:09Speaker 1: weeks because our finale happened to air Thanksgiving weekend or
- 18:13Speaker 1: Thanksgiving week and then we broke up mid December. So,
- 18:18Speaker 1: you know, I think a lot of times, you know,
- 18:20Speaker 1: there might be more to the story than we know,
- 18:22Speaker 1: and there's definitely more time invested than we know, because
- 18:26Speaker 1: we don't know when the shows discontinue taping or when
- 18:28Speaker 1: they wrap taping. So, guys, in summation, it's a sad
- 18:32Speaker 1: day in battriination, right, we're dealing with a breakup today.
- 18:35Speaker 1: But we wish them both the very best moving forward.
- 18:38Speaker 1: They both seem like really nice people. Again, I don't
- 18:41Speaker 1: know them personally, but somehow I feel like I am
- 18:44Speaker 1: connected to them in some way, shape or form. So
- 18:46Speaker 1: I wish them both the very best. I wish everybody
- 18:49Speaker 1: the best, everyone that broke up on the on the
- 18:51Speaker 1: show and moved on that we talked about today. Like
- 18:54Speaker 1: I said, breakups are never easy, right, so we want
- 18:56Speaker 1: to wish everyone the best. We especially want to be
- 18:58Speaker 1: kind in these moments and let them know that, you know,
- 19:03Speaker 1: the support they've felt this whole time doesn't just go away.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Now they're no longer betrothed to one another, so production
- 19:10Speaker 1: team wins again. Though here they get another Neil Lane
- 19:12Speaker 1: back in that file cabinet. I'm telling you, I'm beginning
- 19:15Speaker 1: to wonder what they're gonna do with all those at
- 19:16Speaker 1: the end of this whole thing. At any rate, thank
